Speaker 1 (00:01):
Time for Feeling Good in the D on one hundred
point three w NIC. Feeling Good in the d is
brought to you by or Ingram dot Com. Okay, so
here we go. Three construction workers in Iowa used a
trampoline to save a kid from a house fire. He
was trapped on the top floor and needed something to
land on. They also saved two other people. All three

(00:21):
workers suffered injuries. One had second to re burns on
his upper body spent the night in the hospital. But
is okay, the most important thing is everyone survived. And
how about that a trampoline, like kid jump, we got you?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
I mean, here's yeah, because I was thinking that's not
actually a departure from how they do it, but it
is because I don't think the thing they use when
they're trying to get you to jump out of high rises,
those aren't specifically trampolines.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
Yeah, you know, you see it on TV all the time.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
They have a thing and they're like, okay, you can
jump jump, but they're not literally your backyard trampoline.

Speaker 3 (00:56):
So that is pretty astounding. We're joined by Fox Too.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Meteorologists down Long Street got a lot of nice comments
about Alan yesterday on our Fox Local program.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
No, because you can.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
You can listen to Jay Towards in the morning on
demand obviously on iHeartRadio, but at two thirty every afternoon
you can watch on Fox Local and to Be And
it's a.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Kind of like a best of rewind show.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
It's great and there's a lot of nice comments about
what a good dad Alan is.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
For girls together for.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
School, Yeah, trying to you know, give it a shot.
It's there. Yeah, you know, you try your best. Had
the old parents conferences yesterday, not conferences. Yeah, orientation and
there are so many different things.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Yeah, it's orientations. Yeah, how to go. Well, actually I
didn't go.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I I was in charge of the children and then
and then their mom went, so she I haven't talked
to her yet.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I'm sure that it went wonderfully. But I was with
them and it went. It was good. It was crazy.
I feel like you were about to just say.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Horribly wild man, just trying to here's the problem that
I have. They go to school for seven hours, they
don't want to go, and they come home and I'm
supposed to.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Get them to do homework. And once you start to
get them to do homework, I mean, all all hell
breaks all of it. Like I took them on the
roof to read, because.

Speaker 4 (02:15):
Like I try to get it, try to.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
Make it fun, like, all right, let's go on the roof.
This will be fine.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
No, but here's the problem, because like I got a
flat roof, and it's safe when I'm up there with them, right,
it's fine, we go slow, I hold their hand. But
what happened was the other kid got on the roof
and come sprinting across.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
To get me. And the other kid like I'm on
the one, I'm on the one. Pose hold on?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yeah, please do you access the roof through a door?
Are you like going up a ladder?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
It's a balcony, Okay, balcony off the roof, climb up, Yeah,
but you don't want to.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
You don't want a seven year old no there on
her own. I wouldn't expect nothing less from your children. Yeah,
and we got thick grass. If they fall, they'll.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Be padded stacked against him their girl.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah. Two are twins, Yeah, like house seven.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
He doesn't stand and the little one is the big
one is ten big ones?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
Yeah, you don't have any tens? Halfway to twenty, halfway
to forty?

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Yeah, do you have any power.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
Uh No, I mean I can physically overpower them still,
So that's like they all three try to take me
down there, but emotionally spiritually.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Now, like I can't wait for I hope we're all
still together. I think we'll still be together. Yeah, Like
I can't wait for, like the time when they're going
to be like fifteen and twelve year olds.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
What's that world look like? Yeah, that's what you will age.
So look at your nice yeah, free skin. It won't
when the oldest is going to be driving. No, you know,
here's the thing. Here's the thing they say.

Speaker 4 (03:46):
They say, like you either have like well behaved little
kids and then crazy bigger kids or crazy little kids
and well behaved.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Big you'll be good. Years are going to be fairal
for life. Yeah, they fall out of wilfare you know.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yeah, No, they're gonna be they get older, they're gonna
be great. You'll sayeah, they're great, Yeah they are great.
They are great, but they're the best great. I wouldn't yeah, yeah,
I mean if if you didn't talk about them, then
there'd be a problem. Yeah, that's really the truth. I
thought you were gonna say. Boy stuff that makes me nervous.
Well you got that to contemple to that is you
never know. Yeah, it could end up.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Completely How you don't think how are we look at
it otherwise?

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Today?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
Yeah, we are fantastic, like eighty sunshine, and then we
do it again and again. It's like the next maybe
ten days, seven to ten days, eightiest body shower Saturday.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
It's gonna be really boring, but in the best way.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
All right, since you're not gonna be here tomorrow with us,
give me some pinpoint weather from Monroe.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Oh you do. Yeah, it's gonna be great, I mean beautiful. Yeah,
big changes in weather.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
We're an hour from.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
Everything's different.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I would never think that until Alison pretty much told
us that Ipsilani is like the entrance to.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
