Speaker 1 (00:00):
For the July we didn't barbecue. We went to Longhorn
Steakhouse to see my daughter who was working that day,
and I tried the parmesan and crusted.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
Oh it's pretty good.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
Yeah, pretty good, that parmesan encrusted.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
How they packed this? I was going to ask, how'd
she do? Was it a bit? It's always hit or miss,
like when you're on the fourth.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Well, after I tipped her, she went home for the day.
But I mean, but it was slow. It was slow
during during that time we want to like eleven thirty
twelve o'clock.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I can remember a million years ago when I lived
in South Lyon and I worked at this little restaurant
that still stands there, and uh, my boss was like,
no one's going to come in on the fourth, but
you can just go in and be behind the bar.
And I think I was by myself. Yeah, so I
went in there to just like we were open. If
someone came in to get a beer, I could get
it for you. And it got packed and people.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Started ordering food. Yeah, and no one asked me to do.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
This, But because I'm a people pleaser, I was like,
I'll go back in the kitchen and try and figure
it out. I'm back there making food bringing it out.
I'm sure all of it was a against the law.
But I was like, well, I called how old were
you when that happened?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Like nineteen? I called in a friend waitress, and I
was like, this place is jumping. Could you come in
because I'm cooking food bartending an waits your boy. I
don't know, I'm not sure, but I always think about that.
I was like, what's going on here, Let's have made
bank that day. I don't maybe I did.

Speaker 3 (01:19):
I'm just hoping everyone got, you know, didn't get food poisoning.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, And I was like, I don't know anything about
the kitchen.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
So it's funny when you see your kid as a server.
By the way, she comes up to the table and
I'm like, oh, you want to run down all your
red wines. I'm just like, what do you know? She's
like ko. So that was fun.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
By the way, I want to do a family Yeah, yeah,
we all went.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Yeah. I'm interviewing today this afternoon. Randy Thomas. You know
our friend DJ who works with Skilla. That's her brother.
Randy is a marine biologist from Detroit. He's out in
LA and he's on the new Netflix show I watched
over the weekend, hang On All the Sharks?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Is that the shark competition with Oh my gosh, I
almost started watching that.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It's basically like these.

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Marine biologists have to find these different sharks in the ocean,
take a picture of it, and then.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Like they're competing for pet. Yeah, they're competing for fifty
thousand dollars. And it's like the marine biologists that come back,
there's so many types of sharks. Yeah, you come back
with the most sharks. But this guy that hosted he
is like like he works the title All the Sharks
into like everything. Oh so you know, he's like how
long have you been a marine biologists and like blah

(02:33):
blah blah blah blah. Well the big question is will
you find all the sharks? It's like, we get it.
That's the name of the show, All the Sharks.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I'm just really shocked to learn there's this many sharks.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
I thought there were like three.

Speaker 4 (02:45):
No, No, there's like these in the preview, it's like
they almost look like black sting rays, but they are
a type of shark because there their body I don't know,
composition fits, like what a shark has there's also a
shark doc on Netflix that's called The Shark Whisper.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Oh yeah, I know. I'm just excited that a marine
biologists from Detroit is on the show and he's like
competing underwater. Like it was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, that's gonna be cool.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I saw Alison on the h I saw Alison and
both Chelsea on fourth of July weekend. I saw Chelsea
was posting pictures from the cabin up north. Yes, which
looks really nice.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I went up north for the week. It was so
much fun. My sister and her kids were there, my mom, grandma,
my brother in law.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
And Shelby. She loved every secsion of it. She likes
that she kind.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Of has free range up there, like she can just
do whatever she wants and does she go on the water.
This was the first time that she even showed an
interest in wanting to get in the water. Normally she's
been scared of it all her life, and she seemed
like she kind of wanted to.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
I didn't want her getting in the water.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
After twelve hours with Chelsea, She's like, I think I'm
going for a dip.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I'm way out there, but.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, so no, it was it was really really nice
and relaxing.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
And it's my niece's first birthday today.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Did you guys celebrate up there?

Speaker 2 (04:12):
No, we're celebrating this weekend.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
Okay, Allison, I saw back in the nook at her
apartment complex pool. We've been waiting for this. I feel
like you skipped last year. I did. You were back swimming.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Doing for the pool. Yeah, I am.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I'm the pool influencer all my thousand views.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I was the first day we went down there. I
took the video. There was only one girl and she
was sunbathing, so I did have the pool to myself.

Speaker 4 (04:38):
I can't believe that kids wouldn't just be all up
in that.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
I don't know. Fourth July weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Maybe the other pool had some people. I don't know,
but uh.

Speaker 3 (04:46):
And then the second time I went up it was
it was a little quicker because I I only need
like three other people to be up there to find
myself engaged in an issue, right, I mean you.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Fought with people already.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
No.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I took my cell phone before I did. I was like,
so the three of you.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
In this whole giant pool, you want to stand right
where I'm doing laps.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Back and forth. Okay, and where the kids older kid?
Fifteen okay, teenager?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
So, and I just found Warren sitting over there under
an umbrella table and he's just looking at me, and
he's like, just don't cause.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
He I mean, he could see it.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
I'm like, so, but you you did recognize they started it? Yeah,
because he saw what was going on. And he's like, don't,
just don't. And I'm like, so at one point, I'm
doing my life. I just wanted to do ten back
and forth, back and forth with Wise, and like around
six is when they decided to stand right there.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, so I literally like swam right up to them,
almost touching them.

Speaker 3 (05:43):
You just kicked that and I stopped and I just
stood until they parted a little bit, and then I
finished and then and then I took myself. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
But you know, you always had the opposite opinion when
you went to the pool for entertainment or enjoyment and
there is somebody doing laps, You're like, I know, yeh, listen, lady,
this isn't the Olympics, right, thrill out hey, phelps you
want to go back in your nook and stop swimming
pools from cancel lading it out,
