Speaker 1 (00:00):
I will tell you last night there were there was
more Shenanigans than ever before in all the years we've
done this.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Yeah, we eat dinner. Our family dinner is at the
boat house every year. Last year we tried something different,
but that's normally where we are and we love it there.
We always have a good time, but we had an
extra good time last night, I guess.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
And it's such a good meal. So I mean to
give you an ideas all the volunteers that come on
this trip and really help us throughout the year. So
you have me, Alison and Chelsea, but then you have
lou Ann from c Smatt Children's Hospital, and then you
have Debbie from Angels of Hope with her husband Larry,
who helps us immensely right. And then you have like
Anthony Liverti from Detroit Manufacturing Systems.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
And you have documentary crew, the documentary crew Kyle, Alina, Tye,
Brandon m h.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
You have Cody and Crystal from our promotions department. Cody's
the one that literally puts on this entire trip, and
then Low and Jerry. His wife Lou is the one
that handles all of our audio for Jay's juniors, and
then him and Wendy. Yeah is Pam and Wendy.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
And then and then like you mentioned Cody, but this
like last night.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
She got around of the blast.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
What would.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
It doesn't hurt our feelings too much, but you do
call her you ride or die Chelsea and I aren't
too hurt by that, but I.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
Call Cody my rid. Yeah yeah, well I mean you know, yeah,
well she is with Chelsea close second, and then a
n up in front of me after last night is Kyle.
And then now let's just go through the whole list.
And so so here's here's here's what happened last night. Okay,

(01:50):
so we said, so this is the volunteer dinner, and
I take everybody to dinner. It's our fun nights, always
on Thursday. So we all sit down and we all
order drinks, and it's it's kind the lake. Hey, everybody,
we're almost its home stretch. That's all a cocktail.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Can I just preface one thing before you continue, Anthony Blakes,
to bring up one thing that happened one time and
challenge my drinking skills and I don't appreciate it. I
got drunk in Las Vegas two nights in a row
to show that I've got skills.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
You do have skills.

Speaker 2 (02:17):
He brings it up again last night. He says, are
you going to order a fish bowl drink and take
one sip out of it? And I was like no,
Now I'm gonna get wasted.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
So yeah, a planet Hollywood. Last year, Anthony got one
of those gigantic drinks that's like the size of your
head that comes into commemorative glass. And then Alison saw
that and said, ooh, I want of those. She got one,
took two SIPs and left the commemorative glass that she
was drinking in.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
But I don't think everything was actually coming out.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Of her straw, and no one will let it go.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
So so so we so we ordered drinks. So I
got a Captain and diet and Chelsea gets what would
you get wine?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Or I got a Tito's and soda.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So a couple of ladies were getting lemon drops, right,
Martin lemon drop Martini. So Alison orders one, right.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
And they had those rock candy as a stir, a
little rock candy thing.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
So cute, what a cute touch, right, So so we
had our drinks and you took a sip of it.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
Yes, and this is going to be the variable that
I'm just gonna I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna ruin
your story that you haven't gotten to yet. But I
will say none of us are really eating that much.
I mean, not like we used to. We'd had breakfast
way early in the day. But if I'd ordered anything
else there wouldn't have been a problem. But that lemon
puckered my stomach, and my stomach really like it. I

(03:43):
did not feel it didn't feel good. So I had
to push the drink aside, and I told Luanne, who
had one, I said, you can have this. After I'd
made this declar declaration that I was gonna get hammered
and drink like eight of those.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So the bathroom I did. I got up to the bathroom.
So this narrative comes back around that Alison really the
make owls an happy. She wants her coke, her Coca Cola,
and that she just ordered the drink just to order
he drink and she's not going to drink it. So
Anthony said, you know what, let's put We'll put lemonade.

(04:15):
Let's pour it out and put lemonade in it instead.
Why she's in the bathroom and she'll and I guarantee,
and he says, and I guarantee she'll never know it,
and she'll sit there and act like she's drinking this drink.
And I said, there's no way. She's too smart for that.
If she I mean, I like when I tell you

(04:35):
I went into battle mode. I'm like, there's no way
she knows, hears and sees everything. She's like the terminator.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
You're breaking my heart.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I'm breaking my heart.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
He actually said, if there was even half a sip
gone from her Coca Cola right now, she's.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
That's true. I say so. He's like, oh, let's make
it interesting. He goes bet you one hundred dollars. I said,
I bet you a thousand dollars if you replace her
alcohol drink, not just she's some big love's alcohol. But
I said, she's too smart for that. If you if
you replace that drink with lemonade, she will take a
sip when she gets back and immediately know that it's

(05:16):
been changed.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
The color alone, I think she would notice.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
You should notice. Yeah. And and once Anthony heard a
thousand dollars, which is insane, I mean insane, he was like,
I mean there was a there was a mad dash
to like to make this happen.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Luanne was stalling Alison in the bathroom trying to couldn't
figure out why I'm for our waiter to get her
this news drink.

Speaker 1 (05:40):
Follows me to the bathroom.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Where's the bathroom? I'm like where it says restrooms, Luyne,
and she kept acting acting like she didn't. I'm like, Luenne,
it says restrooms right there, and she's like, can you
can you show me further? And I'm like, let me
walk you to the sign that you can see right here.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Listen. So what is that drink? What is that drink?
Lemon drop? And they think if they replace it with lemonade,
you know that she will know that it's been replaced
because she really wants the coke. So there's the drink
that's gonna get swapped down in the So Allison comes

(06:18):
back okay, and Anthony is like just he can't wait
for this moment. And I can't wait for this moment.
And and you come back and sit down and you're
like you're trying to Now you don't even try to drink.
You're like, you know what I'm work to. Luanne doesn't
stomach hurts and and and Anthony's going, well, you didn't
mix it, you didn't mix it with the sugar thing.
Try it again, and she takes a sip and goes, no, no,

(06:40):
it's well, it's a little better, but no, and she
gives it to a wan and he just puts his
hands up in the air, and I'm like, I don't
believe it. Before that happens. This is what happens.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
And I feel like a sucker for caring about him
because then he takes the drink. He takes the drink
and chugs it, and I'm like, Anthony, don't do that.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
I'm like that doing it. Don't chug that because you
knew it was lemon and I didn't.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
And I'm saying, you're not caring about him.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
I just honestly, you were not wrong to bet on me.
I did not want to go back and sip out
of that thing because that lemon. So when I took
that sip to just shut everybody up, I wouldn't have known.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I wasn't paying attention.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
I was like, I just want everyone to be quiet.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Barely put any in her mouth.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
I don't want you to give up on me because
any other drink I would. I just want to let
everybody know that you owe Anthony one thousand dollars if you.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Want to book me for corporate events and you want
me to come out and he needs the money. Three
w n I see there's more of this night. We
