Speaker 1 (00:00):
I got up this morning early, and I was watching
Fox two on the Fox Local on the app, and
I was watching al and do a little bit of weather,
and he was saying that we're going to get flurries
this morning. But then to I guess tonight is the
best chance for maybe like one to maybe two.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Inches of snow.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Oh, so good timing for us to be gone.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Yeah, I know, which's cold and tomorrow's high it is
only twenty nine.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
And then I noticed, because you know, I'm always looking
ahead at the ten day for hope, which it works
out sometimes because I told you it could always change.
But when we come back on Saturday, yeah, Saturday is
still like a cold thirty degree day. But Saturday, Sunday
and Monday are forty seven. Oh, we're bringing back the warm.
What whould I like to call fifty?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah? I like that.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
Yeah, but no, there were some overnights that were like sixteen.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
But I mean we're talking about how cold it is
down here, So this winter is clearly going to be
pretty chilly, nasty season across the country.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I'm bothered by.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I haven't seen any twenty twenty five farmers almanacs out
they saw the twenty twenty four ones out, Not that
that makes a difference, and you can do everything on
your phone, but what's going on with Farmer's Almont?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
Where's the new where's the new ones?

Speaker 5 (01:13):
That one's going to be so upset that you're even
talking about that. He hates the Farmer's Almont.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
So last night when we uh, once we got here
and got all checked in and everything like that, all
our families got their rooms, I think we were problem free.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Well where were we? Where are we have the wild
Irish Rose? Where were we?

Speaker 3 (01:32):
Enchanted Rose?

Speaker 2 (01:33):
The Enchanted Rose?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
We were at the Enchanted Rose and we had a
beverage and we all kind of sat around just kind of, hey,
we're here, We're finally all good.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
It was more of a cocktail place. They had a
couple nibbles.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
There was nothing on the food menu that I wanted,
and I showed Alison a.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Lot of we were to get.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
No, there was one thing we could have eaten, and
that was truffle fries. And we were a little hungrier
than that.

Speaker 5 (01:56):
Oh yeah, I mean it had been pretty much all
days since we didn't want sturgeon had or what.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
About the big flat bread or red snapper.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Do you make a flatbrinder and then you gotta go
through a fingu? That was it.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I know, what do we do that? I don't know?

Speaker 1 (02:11):
So so, you know, we have Anthony Liverte with us,
and Anthony is great because Anthony's like, always are you
get stuff done? Anthony is always are can you get
it done? Anthony, you know, from Detroit Manufacturing Systems, And
he said, uh, yeah, I can go. I'll get us
a reservation somewhere. And he came back and he said,
I've care probably say this. I've never been told more

(02:34):
nicely and politely to go blank myself with trying to
get a reserve. Yeah, because, yeah, come on, we're we're
staying at this. You know, we're sitting at the Grand
Floridian with all of the group of one hundred and
twenty five people, and we're like, Hi, can we get
it in a reservation?

Speaker 5 (02:49):
And by the way, we were a party of eight
last night. Well, that's really difficult to get a table.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
Yeah. Yeah, except I'm going to point out how it's not.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Because as we were walking to our two separate tables
of four, and forgive me if I jumped ahead, we
walked right past a table set for eight.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, so don't know if you notice that, but I did.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
They're real by the book here.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, well, knowing a manager or thinking you know, it
means nothing because they're doing everything on iPads. Like even
when I checked in, she was like, there's I said, oh,
thank you, I want to talk. I actually want to
talk to a front desk person. She goes, I can
do everything a front desk person can.

Speaker 2 (03:26):
Do on the iPad.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah, but I'm not feeling you, Sheila.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
So now I had a thing going with one of
the kids and my waitress, Charles, and I only wanted
to go through them because we had like a thing
and I felt like I could manipulate Charles hitting on
you again. No, Charles is a girl, but her name
tag fell off. Her name's Chloe. She's been wearing a
Charles name tag, which is pretty awesome.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
I think they do that on purpose, just to mess
with you.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
That's what her story was.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
But anyway, so we were a table of the and
they said, you know what, we will.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Do our bus to put you two four close to
each other.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
So they put us behind each other. So we were like, you,
you guys are in the center of the room where
we were like in almost like a booth, I guess,
so off to the side, and we.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Could see each other and we could like here sort
of here, and like say, you know, we weren't so
far away, so it wasn't bad, and we understood. We
were like the kid who I was working, except this
lady kept coming trying to get in between us because
I would just have him right where I wanted him,
and your she gone, and I'm like, oh no. So

(04:31):
this point comes where the table that you guys are at,
it's one long booth on one side and then it's
two tables with chairs on the other sides, right, so, uh,
the other side of you clear out and we instantly
lock onto it and we're like, well, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Go Anthony grabbed that table and bullet to you.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
And you didn't have anything on the table at this point.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
I know you mightn't yet.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
You might have had drinks or something, but you you
weren't eating food, no food, right, yeah, So it's been
an easy transition to just move on over to the
table that was right by it.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
If they weren't having it right well.

Speaker 4 (05:06):
So Anthony, and rightfully so was like, no, I'm not
gonna grab that table just yet. And I'm like, do
you not have faith in what I'm gonna be able
to do here? And it's good that he didn't, so
he didn't. And then here comes Helga with her braids
from the Swiss Alps, starting to set that.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
Table and I'm like, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
And then Charles is back here having a fourteen hour
conversation with these two people.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
And then in the third grade, I want a spelling
be and I'm like, I seriously meet your oup right now.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
And so while we're trying to make this move over
so we can all literally now sit together.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Yeah, who got up to go to the manager? Was
it Larry? I think Y's husband.

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Yeah, So there's a specific man in a suit with
an iPad and an ear in an FBI ear thing
very high tech, and Larry gets nowhere and they are
going to go ahead and sit a two chop there
and they are going to completely ignore that we can
finally move over, and then I and then I had
to cause a scene.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
And the only thing that bothered me about the fit,
and I love when you throw a fit, especially when
it's to our benefit.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
No, it made those two people feel better.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Those people feel better.

Speaker 4 (06:15):
And I wish that I cared, and I still don't
because I was so angry. Someone had to feel bad,
and I'm sorry that it was Frank and Allen.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
From my own.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Such nice people, because they whispered, oh, we're sorry, no, no, no, don't.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Be sorry, and then I said, no, sorry, we don't
know her anyway.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
It was a wonderful.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
And you also made very very uncomfortable.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
But can I But I shut it down because I ask.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Because I could see how because I was not done
with them.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
On my way out, I was going to teach them
all how to be better weight start.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
I know, and I didn't.

Speaker 2 (06:54):
You didn't.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I left without any further

Speaker 2 (07:00):
And that'll proud
