I do find it interesting how we track things and
even more so why we track things and why this
is even a stat that we know. But it is
interesting the record for the most flowers sold in a
single day. And Chelsea had brought up Eastern Market before,
and I think this is just across the country. So
in our country the record the day was August seventeenth,

nineteen seventy seven. So we haven't sold more flowers than
we did that day. And it was the day after
Elvis died.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Yeah, that's how much it impacted us. Wow.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Wow, all those people send flowers to were they I'm
assuming it. Let's put flowers out because elbows passed.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
But here we are in twenty twenty five and we
have not surpassed that day in flower selling.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Was this just America? Think? Yeah, just a marriage?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Okay, because I was going to say I'm surprised that
Princess Diana's second, but I mean that's not Maybe that
was England's record breaking day for flowers.
