Speaker 1 (00:00):
Just Chelsea and Allison today Vegas. He is in Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
And you just reminded me when you gave the forecast,
Alan said he would come down and say hi to us,
even though Jay wasn't here, and I did not see
that happen.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
I saw him, Oh you did, way early in the morning. Yes,
all right, I know, I'm sorry. You know that's okay,
It's sorry.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
So I got new neighbors in my building.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah, and every time you do, there's always a little
bit of nerves.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well, you've gotten really lucky.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I've gotten been so lucky, and I don't I don't
have throw around money like I used to when I
would just rent all the other random apartments.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I still have two of the four. Yeah, I'm upstairs
and downstairs.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
And then, uh, you know, Joyce was across the hall forever,
and Lee Thomas, my Lee Thomas, not Fox Twosley Thomas,
he was downstairs forever. So I also got lucky with
not only did I get a good neighbor, but they
stayed for like a decade. So and then the girls
across the hall, they're great, they've been there for a while.
They've been there for a while, and we're we're very friendly,

(01:04):
you know. So they're great and everything's good.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
And then the.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Downstairs apartment, a guy came and he wanted he just
he didn't want to He was nice though, but he
wasn't like I think he knew I'm not staying here.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
He was there for a year. He wasn't looking to
be engaging in friends. At first we were like hmm,
but he was. He didn't rock the boat.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
He wasn't like he liked kitty outside then, because they
have a kiddy that we take care ab outside and
he actually liked her and I would see him outside
talking to her, because that's always a concern too.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Anyway, we got new neighbors.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
They were getting the apartment ready for these new neighbors
and and that's great, that's fine. Like in all of
our time in this building, which we've been in this
building since two thousand, yeah, we only had one one
bad you know, one not great situation and that wasn't
even super terrible. But so I don't have any feelings.

(01:57):
I assume everything will be fine. My sister and Warren
are very concerned that and I keep getting because they're there.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
Now, they are in the apartment.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Oh, they have moved in well, and apparently I crossed
paths with them and didn't realize it and wasn't nice.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
Well, like, explain how you weren't nice so you gave
them a look.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
No, I was coming home the other day. This was
the day we had to go to Detroit for Jimmy fallon.
Oh okay, so Monday first, I'm kind of you know,
I'm in a hurry. I'm mindful that I need to
get upstairs. Yeah, I come, I come, you know, barreling in,
barreling in with my windows down and my radios super loud,
you know, I'm rocking out to something. And I pull

(02:39):
up into my spot and there's like a ton of
people in the yard.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
But I don't see a moving truck.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
But I see like six people, and it looks like
a toolbox has propped open the door. So I just
assume it's still people working on the apartment right now.
If i'd seen a U haul, I might it might
have adjusted. I'm also thinking about I need to feed kitty,
get upstairs, get ready to turn around and leave. So
these people are milling about in the yard and it's

(03:04):
a mix of women and men, but I don't know
are you a cleaning crew, Are you a painting crew?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Are you two crews here together? That's just the assumption
I make.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
So apparently they were the new neighbors and their friends
moving them in, and I just bolted right through them
and didn't say a word. Well, I thought I just
explained why I did that. Huh right, So I think
that's fair. Y. I truly believed these are people doing
the finishing touches. I don't see you all and it
looks like a toolbox.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Well, also, it's not like you made a snarky comment
at that.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
You just didn't say hello. I didn't. No, I didn't, so.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
It's not gonna be Why would you say hey, are
you my new neighbor?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Too?

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah? I just wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Both Jill and Warren on that within twenty minutes were
like did you say And Warren wasn't even home, but
he like texted, did you say hi to the new neighbors?
And I was like, what new neighbors? He goes the
people moving in. Apparently it's not a tool box popping
open the door. It was a red suitcase on wheels,
and I'm like whatever, And then Jill's like, you didn't

(04:07):
say hi to them, and I'm like, do you is
anyone listening to me right now? I said, I didn't
know they were our neighbors. I said, I don't know
what goes on. Warren's like, you know what goes on
in this building? You have half of it, you know
everything that goes on.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I was in a hurry, okay, And if you would
have said something, it would have been a cleaning crew,
and then things would.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Have been I would have been like, welcome to the building.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
And they're like, we're painters, right, see the name tag
that happens Sunday, it's Thursday. Every day since Sunday, Warren
Jill has said one more thing about it.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
She's like, just make sure next. I'm like, who do
you guys think I am? I am delightful.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
I'm like, once they are established neighbors and I see them,
I'm gonna be like, I'm not baking anyone cookies, No,
but welcome to the building.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
I'm like, why would I be anything less than that?
And also when have I ever been anything less than that?

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Right?

Speaker 2 (04:57):
And outside of me barreling through them on they're moving day.
There are no examples of me ever, but Warren every
single day. Every time He's like, if you see them
in the building, will you please say hi? And I'm like, seriously,
I don't know what's wrong with either of you, but
now i'm if you don't stop.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Honestly, the amount of comments that are being made about
it at this point, I would have more of a
problem now having to say hi to them, just because
I wouldn't want to let Warren know that I did
and that we had a lovely interaction.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
But I also don't know who these two people are,
my sister and my boyfriend, who have known me forever forever.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
And I'm like, well, what if I They've seen you
at restaurants, they've seen you at the grocery store, they've
seen you on the.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Phone with people.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
There's the Alison you get when you start it, and
then there's the Alison you get when you just cross
paths with me and nothing bad has happened. And that's
the Allison I want to be most of the time
and will be when I meet our neighbors.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Unless they start it. Why would they They're gonna park
in your parking spot. I just know it, not realizing
it's yours.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
And let me again point out how I am right
off the bat being agreeable. Someone did park in my
parking spot yesterday, and let me tell you what I
did not do. I did not put my traditional nasty
note under your windshield because I was.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Like, it might be them, so I will not do that. Progress. Yeah,
so I have new neighbors.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I plan on being perfectly hospitable and settle down.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Jill and Warren take a chill pill. She's honest.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
I was gonna say, hi, I will turn it on
you
