Speaker 1 (00:00):
We've all been soaking in our corn flakes today about
our Pistons loss last night, especially Allen.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
He's like downastated by this. I want to sit shiva
and I want to mourn the loss. That was the Pistons.
They just were there, you know.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I'll tell you what. I'll tell you what if we
would have that.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Third quarter when the Knicks were pulling away, if we
would have kept it there?

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Fine, whatever was it close? You clawed?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Yeah, there were like twice when the Knicks were up
like ten to fifteen points, and both times the Pistons
came back. Pistons were up by a few points with
a few minutes left. Could have had it. That's what
makes it hard. You're there, could have done it, should
have done it, didn't do it.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
You having these comebacks in these games too. It would
come back and then and then in the end it
doesn't happen.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It's a beautiful series. But this is what sports does,
you man. It opens your heart and it tears it out.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
And that's okay.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Well, I think it'd be less heartbreaking if we lost
by like twenty points. But it's always within I don't know,
it was three points yesterday, you.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Know, we're there.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, you know, the guys can do it.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I was.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
I was telling girls last night. I was hosting the
Junior Achievement Awards and Nolan Finley came up from the
Detroit News and was speed king and he said, he
said it would be totally he was fun. He said,
be totally appropriate for you to look at the live
auction items. I mean, the silent auction times.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Would also be totally appropriate if someone looked at their
phone and told what the score.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Guys, like, we're just kind of like, you know, you're
at the War Memorial and there's not a very good
cell signal out there. Now we're all, you know, giving
out awards and these great kids, and it's like anybody
know the score or the Pistons game, but you know,
what are you gonna do? All right? That said, Uh,
the Tigers beat the Angels, So that was good. That
happened last night. What's going on otherwise for this weekend?

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Yeah, we're kind of little, you know where. We got
a lot of clouds around today. I'd say Saturday and
Sunday too, rain Sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Saturday.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Now's close to sixties, so it's okay, but I could
use some Sun, and I don't know that we get
a lot of that moving forward.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
We will eventually. You're just really kind of a bummer,
kind of a bummer.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yeah, you have people keep trying. I generally run optimistic.
Yeah I am, I am. The pistons will be better,
they'll be back, It'll be good. But I need to
process this.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
It was like what three hours ago.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
