Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the show. Today, Allison is out. We have
a lot to do today. How about Jeremy Renner.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
I can't believe it.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Actor Jeremy Renner is coming to MotorCity Comic Con. So
we have tickets this week and you have a shot
to get a little meet and greet with Jeremy Renner
and a photo with him. You boy, you think about
him and his career and all the things that he's done,
and then that terrible accident that he was in.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Well that's what I keep thinking about.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
Yeah, he's been in all these great movies and TV
shows and stuff, but like the guy literally died almost
you know what, three years ago.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Yeah, he's in the Mayor of Kingstown, which is a
big show that people love on Paramount. Plus he was
in the Avengers movies right as Hawkeye, Mission Impossible, the
Born Legacy.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I mean, I love the Boorn movies, the.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
Hurt Locker, the Town. I mean, this guy is born
and raised in Modesto, California.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
So Jeremy Renner, we have those coming up for you.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yesterday I got a very nice call for my friend
Kristen who said, I have two sweet tickets if you're
interested in coming to the Pistons game. And I said, okay,
all right, I'm interested in coming to the Pistons game.
So who do I call immediately? Is Ryan HARMANI of
course I call Ryan and ask him do you want

(01:18):
to you want to go? And he says, yes, of
course he wants to go. I know you'll want a
little video. But what happened here today? Lots of fun, Baby,
we got this. Well, who do you who do you
call the bringo a Pistons game when you last minute?
Bryan RMANI, I was getting ready to powerwash the dead Jakes.
He says, you want to run a piston? They said,
I'll see. We had a great time.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Ryan could literally have a funeral, an important birthday party
to get to He would drop all those plans to
get to that Pistons playoff game to get to that.

Speaker 1 (01:52):
What a game yesterday. We'll get into what happened at
the end of a minute. But Isaiah Thomas and Ben
Wallace were there, Chauncey Billups was there, Jared Goff was there,
and Ryan was great. Ryan kept pointing people out. He
was like, look, look down there. The worst thing you
can say to me is look down there. You see
Jared Goff, I'm where where you know? Look plaid shirt,

(02:15):
les the three and lips. I'm like, okay, there he is.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Hi.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I will tell you When they showed Dan Campbell on
the screen, that was.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
That was magical in that place wild You're Mason, Mason
so good.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
I think people are honestly more excited for Dan Campbell
than they are Jared Goff.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I mean people love Jared, don't get.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Me wrong, they were, but Dan Campbell has this I
don't know way about him that people are obsessed.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Were obsessed with him, and it was great to see
that kind of that kind of reaction.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
What else have you know?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
How blown away I was when I opened up my
Instagram stories and I saw that you were at the
At first I thought that you were like re sharing,
you know, other people's post or something.

Speaker 4 (03:14):
They don't go out.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Yeah, and they weren't a plan. I mean, we didn't
know on Friday that you were going to the game.
And so when I finally realized.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Like, what the heck did Art and Eddie from First Class.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Today make up? No? No, we didn't see them though,
It's crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
We love those guys.

Speaker 1 (03:31):
They were who I think they were driving around Chauncey
and Ben Wallace.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Oh, of course they were.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
They were.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Of course they were those guys at first Classidan driving
around the stars. The big issue eleven seconds left. I mean,
first of all, the Knicks kind of have this lead
most of the game, and then in the second half
all of a sudden because at first we have like
we can't make.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
Any three pointers? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
And then that second half they came back, we started
getting a pretty good lead, and then it was just
tied up. What was eleven so close? Eleven seconds with
eleven seconds left, ninety four to ninety three.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
I even said to Ryan, I'm like, man, this is
I could feel it.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
This is tense.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
How tense is it right now? How tense was I'm.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Getting a break? Given eleven seconds left?

Speaker 2 (04:23):
We got this.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Eleven seconds left. Cad Cunningham misses a shot, the Pistons
scramble for the rebound. Tim Hardaway Junior got a shot
off the corner. As he went up, he was hit
hard by Josh Hart knocked into a row of photographers.
No foul called end of the game, and people are going, wait,
why didn't you call a foul? It was horrible because.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
And then they said after the game, well, after review,
we should have called a file.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
They should have, yeah, which would have given Hardaway three
free throws to maybe win the game. Probably. The Knicks
are now leading the series three to one.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Game five is Wednesday in New York.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
See, I wish we knew more about stuff like this
because I want, like, shouldn't the refs be fined at
that point?

Speaker 2 (05:13):
You literally cost them a win potentially.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
H I never understand how that works. I've asked Ryan
that before. I'm like, I don't understand. How can the
game be over? Then go, now that we look.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Back on it, we should have right and then not
do anything during the game.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
You're allowed to go back and look in that and
I don't know, it was. It was pretty heartbreaking though.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
So well, I'm excited that you got to go.

Speaker 4 (05:32):
That's so cool and it was a good time.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Oh and we know who we sat with, Coach Campy
from OU. Oh with coach Campy up there.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Ryan must have just been on cloud nine.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yeah, we were on cloud nine. I mean would even drink.
We had diet Coach were like, we had pizza and die.
We were sure.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
There were a couple of videos that you liked a
little loopy.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
I have one drink, one Captain and Diet. That was it. One,
just one, but that was it. And that was when
I got there, so bush Man, I saw a big glass,
I saw everybody. All the iHeart family was out there.
Everyone was there. The only people not there were you, Allison.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Well that's a shocker. I'm never invited to anything.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Yeah, it was fine. It was a good time.
