Speaker 2 (00:02):
You know, we're always so fortunate to have our friend
Dylan Dylan.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Dylan, Dylan Dylan.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Stop buying and see us on our show. He produces
the six am hour of news at Fox two.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
I just got sad. I just thought of something. We're
never gonna hear this song again.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, you can play whenever you want to play it. Well,
let's not push it. It's a hit.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
But Dylan, congratulations. Big news for Dylan Dylan is Dylan
has a big promotion.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
At Fox two.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I heard.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
So this is very behind the scenes because regular people
are like, what does what does that mean? What is
a promotion if it's not somebody we see on TV?
But behind the scenes are the people that actually do
the work.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
You're going to be the boss of people, unfortunately for them.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, unfortunately for that.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
So you've been elevated from six am Monday through Friday.
Producer and the producer for Moval I don't know, is
the person that puts everything you see on TV together
that we say that we the video, everything that the flow.
You're now executive producer, like Chelsea's the executive producer of
this show? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Baby, does that mean right? Now you're a producer. You
produce the time Jason, as executive producer, are you now
the boss of all the producers?

Speaker 4 (01:14):
So an executive producer oversees a time period basically, so
I would be everything after our six pm show until
you know, midnight we turn into pumpkins.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
That's all me.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
So the producers they do at their own hour, they
do their own segments. Okay, I'm in charge of overseeing
all the matured, all flows together.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
So you're the executive producer from six pm till midnight.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
After the so seven pm technically, so because Tracy is
the five and six pm Okay, after the six pm show,
everything after that, breaking news, any streaming stuff, any.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Basically but the one people know the ten o'clock news.
You are you are in charge of the ten, ten,
the Edge, the Pulse, Yes, all those evening deal.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
With it Ran deal boy.

Speaker 3 (01:58):
I mean, that's the only reason I'm doing this job.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Is to boss with the test baby taring good luck
and they can say that as her friend.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
You know luck with that you raise an excellent point.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Actually I'd say, don't ever cross Terran.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
You know, I don't plan to.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
But as far as those other producers. Are you just
going to be all up there?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
No, it's not your teeth. You're treating it like it's
bossy boss. It's really content.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
I'm quite sure I don't have them hiring or firing it,
nor do I want it. No, I'm pretty sure I don't. Again,
but no, I've had good EPs over the years who are,
you know, supportive and they encourage people to grow, and
they teach you something so they don't have to teach
you again and so you know what to do it.
I've had bad EPs who micro manage or don't know
how to do the job.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I'm hoping to be the former.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Yeah, who's the executive producer.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Of you right now? Christina? Christina?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Oh Christina?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
So when we have a guest in Chelsea's like, I
gotta let Christina know that we have a guest coming in.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
Oh, you're your nighttime Christina.

Speaker 4 (02:53):

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Congratulations, that's very big, that's very exciting for you.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
But it's ending your radio career.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
No, I won't be a morning don't tell the TV people,
but I'll come back and do radio.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Stuff with you early. All right, I'll walk in the
back here. So the TV folks, alright, that's all right.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Your new your new schedule is you used to come
in at like midnight.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Right and eleven to seven, and now we're coming like
three p to eleven P.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
That's much more man, much more man.

Speaker 3 (03:30):

Speaker 1 (03:31):
To come in at three ten o'clock.

Speaker 4 (03:34):
News is on at ten, there's a there's a pitch
meeting in the afternoon.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
That's right, Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
I never understand eleven PM for a six o'clock show.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Crazy, it's not even a good show.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
And then he's got to do a spot check of
all the producers. They're all standing straight up everyone's workspace.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
You know, do it if it doesn't bounce you out?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Nothing on the desks?

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Right?

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Is that a picture of your son?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Can I get a job at night here? I want
to be around for it. Sure there's something I can do?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh my god?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
All right, on a second, is there a producer job available?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
There is?

Speaker 1 (04:16):
There are several resumeating.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Do you have anyone listening who wants to be a
TV By the way, Fox Dot careers, you're no slouch.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Working in the morning. I mean you talk early the more.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yeah, the number one, I mean more.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
People watch Fox two in the morning than I watch
it all TV and Detroit.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh, maybe I should stay out of it then.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Yeah, Alison, we're a little concerned about what you would
be doing if you were producing the news. Maybe we'll
just have you as an advice. Whenever we don't know
what to do, we make an advice perfect.
