Speaker 1 (00:02):
Time for Feeling Good in the D one hundred point
three WNIC. Feeling Good is brought to you by Miran Chivrolet.
Shout out Miran Chivrolet. This is wild lifeguards near Columbus,
Ohio left their post at a public pool to go
save two people drowning in a nearby stream. A mom
and her seven year old son were struggling in twelve
(00:22):
to fifteen feet of water. Oh my gosh, the lifeguards
heard the yelling for help, scale defense saved both. Here's
the eighteen year old manager at the pool talking about this.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
The water hold down there about probably twelve to fifteen
feet deep, and I see her actively drowning. I jump
in the water and I save the mother and I
bring her to the log and then she tells me
my boy's under there. Another guy came and he sees
the little boy's feet. I tried to determine if he
was breathing. I gave him two rescue breadths, and then
I began doing CPR. As I was doing CPR, stuff
(00:56):
started to come out of his mouth, which is usually
a good sign. It wasn't even at our pool, you know.
We ran and had to get in a creek. And
a life or death situation.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
Well his training paid off. Yeah that's my kind of
eighteen year old. Okay, And I like how he he
was like very subtly giving it up for himself.
Speaker 4 (01:15):
It's very subtle, which is fair.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
He deserves to.
Speaker 4 (01:18):
He's like, wasn't even our pools? Still? I gave some breaths.
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Breath that was it. I would be like I did see.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Life saved a bunch of people exhausted from all the sad.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Do I get a key to the city, come.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
From beautiful machine. We're joined by Fox two meter. I'll
just Alan Longstreet, Alan, Good morning to.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
You, Hi guys. Morning is today?
Speaker 2 (01:44):
The day?
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Is today's storm day?
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Yeah, today's the heat community. Yeah, we get more storms today.
Yesterdayangerous yesterday, changer storms today. I look, any storm can
be dangerous. Right when you hear what is it? When
you hear the roar going doors thunder?
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Like right? Lightning?
Speaker 3 (02:01):
But was that the same?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Yeah, when you hear the work going doors right? Does
the sound as catching my head? I think I'm saying
it wrong. But you know, don't get struck by lightning.
That's the main takeaway from that one. If you can
avoid it. Severe threat is minimal, Okay, Mars somebody, could
there be a gusty went up to fifty sixty maybe widespread, No,
don't expect that, but yeah, storms will bubble this afternoon.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Me and my sister were coming home from the grocery
store yesterday and it was wuring or it came completely
out of nowhere. Could see anything.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
I can always tell when something's going down because the
weather team, your weather authority at Fox too. Everybody starts
tweeting everybody. Yeah, Stephanie Meads in the mix, Alan's putting
stuff on Facebook. Lori Pinson, Derek's got his finger in everything. Uh,
Lori Pinson.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Description, Yes he does.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
But you know what, and I saw nothing, Like I
didn't get anything. It was like I saw all this radar,
these crazy storms, and then there's nothing where I live.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
I know.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
That's the frustrating part about this, like when there's storms,
because like some people here like there's going to be
a storm, and they're like, cancel every plan. I won't
do anything. But it's like I get the app watch radar.
That's the best thing to do. And also what you
and your sister go grocery shoping together all the time.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
I know together.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
Oh it's sweet.
Speaker 3 (03:11):
It's a little bit further to our house. But it
lasted an hour. Yeah, like was it all right?
Speaker 1 (03:17):
All right? So we have that today and then what else?
Speaker 4 (03:19):
Yeah, we gotta look much better Wednesday, Thursday, Frinday. The
humidity fades a little less sweaty, not cool, no, but
like mid and low eighties, and then we bounce back
to ninety for the weekend.
