Speaker 1 (00:00):
What a weekend for the Detroit Lions. The Lions pulled
off their fourth straight win, beating Cincinnati thirty seven to
twenty four. I would say going into the half, the
Lions were fantastic and the Cincinnati and Cincinnati was down.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
And then after the second half they just they started.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Catching up to the point where it was like the
last four minutes of the game and I'm going, oh, no,
we don't need one.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Of these situations, cause the Lions have done it before.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
We pulled back, you know, in the second half, so
I'm like, we don't need Cincinnati doing that.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
They had a little reset, I think in the locker
room at halftime.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
Little reset. Yeah, David Montgomery, Jamier Gibbs. Did you guys
see the video of Jamior Gibbs I shared, Noah Instagram story,
no that it's so his touchdown celebration yesterday. Oh everybody
is sharing that because it's so here I'll show to you.
But yeah, like, I mean, it was really, Uh, it

(00:52):
was an exciting game to watch, and like it's interesting
now to see so many Lions jerseys in the crowd
at an away game.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I know, maybe maybe I was always the case. I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
What are you doing with your phone?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
What do you mean? What am I doing?

Speaker 4 (01:06):
What's with the scrolling? Like that? Are you online dating?

Speaker 1 (01:10):
I was looking No, the last thing I looked for
was from back in April Brandon Flowers, so I needed
to advance my pictures back to most recent.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Why did you explain myself to you?

Speaker 4 (01:20):
It was just like you're aggressively hitting that.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
My life is like explaining myself to everybody, and so
all I have to do like just Chelsea this.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Oh yeah, it was so great.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
That is good.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
So you have that.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
This weekend, the Tigers lost a close one the Seattle
three to two. The teams split the first two games
of the series, with the game three back at Camerica
Park tomorrow, and Allan did say we might have rain
for that, so we'll see what happens here. But you know,
we won that first game, so Saturday is pretty exciting.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
First we won three to two.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, today's the day for that.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Starting to no sorry tomorrow. Detroit calls must include the
three one three area code. A new six, seven nine
area code to start rolling out next month as numbers
run low. So if you're calling a three one three
number that you normally just dialed.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Now you have to put the three one three there.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
I was today years old when I found out that
if I call, my area code is two four eight,
that if I call other two four eight ers, I
don't have to use the area code.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (02:30):
I thought, as of like ten fifteen years ago, we
had to.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
But who do you dial that you even put in
air everything saved in your phone?

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Well, I just I told her that that where I am.
So I'm assuming it's for all of you. But I'm
in seven three four, and if I call another seven
three four number, And I was showing her examples in
my phone, I don't have to put.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Seven three on your cell phone obviously, right right?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, so I had them.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
It's not the rotary at home. I don't know what
I'm talking about. My god, whatother phone is there?

Speaker 5 (02:53):
I have a rotary phone. Someone bought it for me
as a joke. I would love to plug that in.
You think it would work. I don't know, it might school,
I don't know if yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
If I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
But yeah, so I think so the only reason you
would have to put in three one three is because
there's a new area code.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Now, yeah, because now it doesn't know Yes, it's not
going to know the difference, right, Okay. And finally this morning,
this is uh interesting. The post post Office has launched
a new app that sends real time alerts on packages
and lets you scan barcodes and share delivery updates with others.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
I didn't know they didn't do that already.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
I get I get an email alert every day tell
me what's coming in my mail from the post Office.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
I can tell you.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
Really, do you think they mean just regular now?

Speaker 3 (03:38):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Well I get that now for regular mail. I know
exactly what Bill will be in my Yeah, I know
that the.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Value pack sure.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Do what especially during political season? Wow, it's another Mark
Tisdale postcard.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
I kind of feel bad for the post Office. That
seems like a lot of works.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Well, it's all scanned, it's all it's all automated. I'm
sure it's not like somebody scanning it out of Allison's
old scan. That would be so great though. Coming to
the Martint House,
