Speaker 1 (00:00):
A couple of Fox News headlines. Today, Detroit police shut
(00:03):
down three one three Smoke City and Fort Street on
Fort Street after reports the store was selling marijuana to miners.
Officers say they got tips from the community and found
the shop wasn't licensed to sell pot at all.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
You know what, blessed the people that were willing to.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
Spill and tell someone about that, Yeah, because they need
to be caught when you're already well, I guess this
doesn't make sense.
Speaker 4 (00:26):
It's like, when you're already operating an illegal business, don't
be more illegal. But actually, wouldn't that be a case
to be all illegal? Like, well, nothing we're doing, there's.
Speaker 1 (00:36):
Nothing here on the upper eight Thousands will hit the
streets Sunday morning for the Detroit Free Press Marathon, cross motors,
crossing into Canada and back for the twenty six mile run.
There's also half marathon and relay starting at seven.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (00:51):
We did do a couple of years ago when we
handed water out of that.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
We came in like uh one hundred and ninetieth that's right, Yes,
that is our I got tired handing out water.
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I think we had a hard time just getting there.
I remember it's so hard to park or get to
our spot.
Speaker 3 (01:06):
Well, that was an US problem. I will say we
were the ones that did not plan for that. We
just assumed that there was going to be like a
parking lot that we could just like drop our car
off at. And it's like, yeah, no, there's thousands of
people here racing.
Speaker 2 (01:20):
There's no parking right.
Speaker 1 (01:23):

Speaker 5 (01:45):
And enjoy some of that. So there you go.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
There's a couple of things happening this weekend and a
couple of Fox to News headlines with one hundred point
three wn.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
I say one other thing here I thought was interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
There's a high school teacher that filed a police report
after a student stole a hell Oh Kitty Funko pop
figure from her desk, not about the money. She's upset
because the third grade student bought it for her with
her own money. So she was upset about this because
here's the teachers mad that somebody stole it and it
was bought by a kid, Like it wasn't like, oh,
(02:16):
this is some expensive thing, and like a little kid
used their own money to buy it, and it has
more sentimental value.
Speaker 6 (02:21):
Now that makes sense, Yeah, which makes you like you
really want to make like an example out of the
kid that stole it. Absolutely example. Yeah, I'm just no,
that's that's the way to go. I'm just thinking, do
you just go buy enough? No, call the police on
the lousy third grader? Yeah, get the police, that right,
make them spend a weekend in a clink.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
You remember, I away was made an example of with
Jacob and the spelling test. No and the Golden Star.
I don't know, Oh sure you don't.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Is that where you erased his name and put your name?
That is brilliant?
Speaker 5 (02:52):
Yeah, that's right, that's it.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
And that poor kid he cried his eyes out.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, you're smart enough Jacob in first grade to get
a one hundred percent on your spelling test with an
A plus and a gold star. However, you're not smart
enough to know that when you cried that you didn't
get a golden star, the test was clearly not in
your writing.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Oh shame on you, Jacob.
Speaker 5 (03:19):
I raised, I got to do tests.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I erased his name and my name, and I put
jay ad Jason on my on his test and I
put Jacob on on mine.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
That's brilliant. And then so you got to take his
test home to your mom.
Speaker 5 (03:31):
I was like, you star, and he weeped and he
we didn't get a golden star. I remember it like
it was yesterday.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Oh how much trouble did you get in so much trouble?
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Like?
Speaker 2 (03:40):
What had five different places? Teacher?
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Your mom? You know when you're in first grading and
you get in trouble. Oh yeah, it's like it's humiliating.
I think I cried at the front of the classroom.
I don't know, Sorry, you had to change the names back?
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Did you in front of everyone? Did you get sent
to the principal's office.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
I don't think so. I think I just got made
an example of.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
That was pretty diabolical.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
As a first I know, I was yeah, and then
and then and then I've been getting taken advantage of.
Since then, I've never done anything vindictive to get back
at anybody since then.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
That is the one moment in your life that you
can pinpoint that's like and that's where it all ship.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Yeah, thanks to that stupid Golden Star for Jacob.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Let's find that Jacob guy and like really.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Yeah, explain to him that he's the reason I'm a
doorback now.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Yeah, all right, there you go.
