(00:02):
Good morning from one at a pointthree w N I C. Jay Towers
in the morning, Allison and Chelsea, Welcome to Tuesday, and welcome to
the show. Glad you're with usand ready to go today. But he
uh, well, I guess it'snot the way I want to say.
How did you have a good weekend? Were you guys here yesterday? Not
yesterday? Yesterday? We're here Fridaythough, Oh, well, you mean

(00:23):
you didn't listen to the podcast?Well, you know what I was listening
in. Uh, I did listena little bit yesterday morning, And yeah,
I guess I would have realized thatthat was I was in the car
at Mark Pillow. I said,oh, let's listen to a little the
show. We were driving in theNashville Airport. And what were we talking
about. Oh, we were talkingabout how the younger people are giving thumbs
up thumbs down to people instead ofthe finger when they're mad. Oh it

(00:48):
was like gen Z is killing trendthese trends. Yes, like that probably
Okay, Yeah, he found thatto be quite humorous. Okay, it
was a nice two and a halfhour ride from Metropolis to the Nashville Airport.
Turned the car and I was onthe plane and ready to go by
nine to twenty. How long isthe flight to Nashville? Oh my god?
For an hour? Oh okay, wow, I realize it was so

(01:10):
quick. You know. I spendtime with the airport shore. Was John
Heffern, the comedian on the LastComic Standing. He's a big Detroit comedian.
I didn't know he I just knowhim from here. He was,
Yeah, yeah, he was onthe radio here. Yeah. He's,
well, he wants to come buyinto our show. I said, all
right, I'm buying to our show. He's I mean he lives in Chelsea,
Michigan. So he's, uh,does he lives here? Yeah,

(01:30):
lives here. He's on his wayhome. So coming up on the show
today, Jasummer Adventures. Yes,our adventure this time around is taking you
to Jay Summer Bash, which isa week from tonight. Oh my god,
it's next week. New Kids onthe Block Paula Abdul, DJ Jazzy
Jeff. By the way, Iwould like to say, if you are
going to the show, New Kidsis asking anyone that goes wear neon.

(01:53):
It's a ninety show. They wantyou to wear neon if you can.
I don't know if I have anyneon. I was already concerned about how
much I'm gonna annoy Donny Wahlberg withBlue Blood's conversation. Yeah, and I
just wrapped up the final season andgot to the finale and have so much
rage that I'm afraid that so you'renot able to wear a neon because of

(02:17):
that. No, No, I'mjust I'm concerned that my Blue Bloods conversation
is going to be all encompassing.Well, as long as you're holding glowsticks
in your hand while you're doing it, he'll be happy to have that company.
Think that'll soften it. And myrage, my rage is for him,
like not only did they cancel theshow, they didn't even give him

(02:38):
a full season. There's like tenepisodes in the last season and there's like
no goodbye, It's just like up, it's over. Did it just end?
Or is this did it end awhile back? It ended in May?
Okay? Yeah, but I justdid end it for me yesterday.
Well, you'll have lots to talkto him about next Tuesday night. We've
got kid Leroy tickets today at sevenforty the Kid Lauri LeRoi. We also

(03:00):
have Ford Garage a little uh snackingover there. iHeartRadio music festival. I'll
I'll tell you what, honey, you're in the wrong building. Is all
about? Uh a little trip toMetropolis. Give you a little update on
that something interesting. Alison would haveloved the hotel. I stayed for a
very specific reason, very specific reasonthat I did not like and why one

(03:24):
principle is in hot water after sayingI leave this school. And by the
way, when I leave him takingthese things, Jay Towers in the morning
on demand, here's the Hollywood Minutewith Chelsea. Well, things aren't looking
all that great. Ben Affleck andJennifer Lopez living separate lives. We've known
that, but they have now puttheir sixty million dollar Beverly Hills home on

(03:46):
the market. It took them tothe one that took forever to find and
by years to find that home. They were quietly giving showings for about two
weeks and then the public got ahold of it. Is up for sale
for about sixty five million dollars.Ben visited Jen there on Sunday from about
five to nine pm, did notstay the night. He left alone.

(04:11):
Is he not a movie? Ishe making a movie? Is making a
movie? So? I mean thatcould maybe it could have something to do
with that. I don't feel whythese two can't work it out though,
I mean they got him back togetherall these years later. It's the love
of her life. Like I wonder. We just don't know. Listen,
we don't know, but I gotI feel like you got your second chance
in this relationship and this isn't workingeither. Yeah, I don't know.

(04:35):
We'll see what happens. Billie Eilishlost all of our friends when she got
famous because quote she couldn't relate toanybody, But she has work to rekindle
those old friendships and says, Ihave a crew now. I could literally
cry about it. So I don'tknow how much of it was her pulling
away from them or them maybe pullingaway from her, but either way,

(04:57):
some of them are back together andshe's happy about that. Caitlyn Clark is
talking about missing out on the ParisOlympics after she was left off the roster.
People are really surprised by this, she said, I'm so excited for
the girls, honestly, no disappointment. It gives me something to work for.
It's a dream. Hopefully one dayI can be there. The twenty

(05:17):
twenty eight Olympics are going to beback in Los Angeles. But I mean,
Caitlyn Clark is the hottest thing inthe WNBA right now, so it's
a little surprising that she would beleft off the US team. I don't
know how any of that works.Yeah, that's bizarre. You would think
that somebody would a spokesperson for theOlympic team would give a reason. I

(05:40):
know there's a lot of back andforth on it, though, I mean
I've seen it on the news everyday. Carrie Underwood fell off this stage
at the end of her rain soakedperformance at the Carolina Country Music Fest.
She said that even though it wasunexpected, it was a ninth that she'll
never forget. Looked like a bigwhite ooh, she's OK, right,
yes, fine, just that wouldhurt. And finally, Ryan Reynolds was

(06:03):
on the View yesterday, but notwhat she would think. He was in
the audience. His mom was intown visiting the grandkids. She's a huge
fan, so we got tickets forthem. All right, Well, here
you go. So I didn't wantto taste the back of her hand,
so I said, let's go tothe View, and so we made a
call. I told him you know, I'm Blake's husband. Did not get

(06:28):
us a little farther and then hereand here we are you and he didn't
mention Deadpool at all. A couplequestions, is Blake on the view?
No? No, No, Blake'sjust his wife. I know, I
just they just joke about each other, oh, NonStop. And then they
called him up to the stage. No, they were looking out in the
audience, and Whoope said, youknow every day you say like, wow,

(06:51):
look at who you know, allthese people that are here, and
then sometimes you're like, oh mygosh, it's Ryan Reynolds in the audience.
And he said, by the way, sitting on this side is way
less stressful than having like an appearance. Got it? Probably true? TV
Tonight we have America, Scott Talentand Beat Shazam. Father's Day Face off.
All right, Chelsea, thank you, Good morning. From one hundred

(07:13):
point three WN I see with Sundaday, get up the seventy four degrees,
a little about my trip over theweekend. Find out a little more about
this plane crash that happened yesterday righthere in town. Goesay, Welcome to
the show, Welcome to Tuesday.Got back yesterday from the Superman celebration in

(07:35):
Metropolis. Had a very good time. It was I got out there on
Thursday night, flew into Nashville, rented a car Enterprise. They knew Alison.
Well, it's the final week thecargoes back Saturday and I'm back in
the Red Menace. Back in theRed Menace. But nice car. They
gave me a Beamer. Oh yeah, I didn't I So I tried to

(08:00):
my reservation, said I was supposedto have a Ford Explorer and they said,
we don't have your car. Wouldyou like to upgrade to land Rover?
And I said for how much? And they're like for sixty dollars more
day. I'm like no, no, Like okay, well then we'll give
you the BMW Like okay, ohyes too, Yeah, no problem.
Cool. Yeah. So that wasgood. So drove from Nashville to Metropolis,

(08:24):
which is just over like just overthe border of Kentucky. So you're
in Kentucky, you go over bridgeand you're in Metropolis, Illinois. It
was a three day Superman celebration.I was with the Mark Pillow from Superman
four and he did fantastics. Imean, if you're going to do an
event, that's the event to doif you've been in a Superman movie.
I saw the I saw the pictureof you him and Brandon Routh. Oh

(08:50):
yeah, yeah, and that wascool. That was cool. I they
asked me if I would do hispanel, like you know, his Q
and A, and I said,I'd love to do that. I gave
you a little bit of this isit. This is what the Superman celebration
sounds like. How exciting. It'sbeen a couple of years since I've been
here, and this has been reallyit's been a crazy day. We've been
a lot of people. It's beena lot of fun. We got big
guests coming up the rest of todayand tomorrow name is Jays Towards. In

(09:13):
addition to do a TV and radioindustry and I also worked to a show
called the Cape Wonder Superman podcast onour rail, Thank you. We celebrate
the Christopher Reid Superman film, theTests like our World, the Jim Bowers,
you know, the Superman four.It was the last time we got
to see Christopher Reeve and the Supermancos so, so for that reason,
it's very special to a lot offans. The last scene, the last

(09:37):
fight with a villain happened with ofcourse Nuclear Man himself, but great Mark
Piller, a lot of fun.Well what was the did you post the
panel on your Instagram story? Wasit like an a tent? It was
in the tent? Yeah? Yeah, I just thought it was so sweet,

(09:58):
like it's so small town. Ohyeah, just all these people getting
together sitting in this There was noyou couldn't get a convention center. No,
there's no convention center in Metropolis,Allison. No, there's a hotel.
There's no, Well there's the HarrisCasino Hotel, which I'll tell you
more about. Is everything in walkingdistance? Yes? Okayah, did Jim

(10:20):
go? No, Jim did notgo. Oh I'm surprised. Yeah,
no, he couldn't make it tothis one. Oh okay, but yeah,
it's all spread out. It's like, I mean, I don't know
how to explain it to you otherthan imagine like a town one fourth the
size of a rill Oak. Yeahokay, So that you've got that,
yeah okay. And then you havea big, gigantic Superman statue in front
of city Hall that everybody takes apicture in front of them. There's a

(10:43):
big Superman museum, which is veryyou know, been there since the eighties
and it's every artifact and movie propand all of that. And then they
like, you know the I don'tknow, I think like the mental Health
building or something like that. Theyclosed for the weekend and they turned that
into the autograph area where to getthe autographs. Yeah, is the local
paper there called the Daily Planet. It is it's called what is it?

(11:07):
I think it's called the Metropolis. It's called the Metropolis Planet. I think
I think it's I think it's calledthat. So it was. It was
a lot of fun. I puta couple of pictures up. The one
thing I wanted to tell you.I don't know why. This made me
laugh. On Thursday, we didour big Cereal drive. We had this
great event and then I went home. I showered really quick, I grabbed
my bag and I went to theairport and a lot of people were coming

(11:28):
into town for the train station bigparty with M and M and Diana Ross
and all that. And I'm atthe airport and I had a little bit
of time, and all of theairport was jammed on Thursday, like it
was I don't know where people weregoing Thursday, but like Metro, Like
remember remember when we went to Vegas, and I took you guys in the

(11:50):
Detroit in the Delta Club. Wewent in that little one, not the
big, gigantic one. It wasthe other one across from the escalator.
There was no seats in there, zero, Like I mean, there was.
I walked in there, there wasnot one seat available. So I
had to leave and go to thebig one across the other part of the
airport because there was just and therewas barely any seating in there. It
was just jamm wow. So Igot this little corner seat by the escalator

(12:13):
and I got I don't know what, I had a coffee and something to
eat, and I'm sitting there andthis guy comes up and he's on the
phone and he's he's he's going,honey, honey, you're in the wrong
building. You see, You're inthe wrong building. And then there's this
quiet time and he's like, uh, huh, yeah, but what I'm

(12:33):
trying to say, honey, butyou're in the wrong building. And huh
right, no, I understand that, and there's the floors and all,
but but what's but honey, honey, you're in the wrong building. Like
I mean, this guy said, honey, you're in the wrong building to
this woman on the phone like twelvetimes, and at one point I'm thinking,
what is she saying on the otherend trying to convince him that she

(12:56):
would be in the right building? It, well, just your part the
story that you're telling. I'm hearingher her end, you know, when
she's saying something like, I'm inI'm at the door next to the bathroom,
just like me, right the wrongbuilding. But I came up the
stairs that were on the right atthe entrance like they told me. But

(13:18):
but but you know, but thenacross the street you have like Stephen's Road,
and then that's the bill. No, no, no, honey,
you're in the wrong building. It'sfunny about that. I left and it
was still going on. What's funnyabout that is why would you ever have
to say it even a second time? You're in the wrong building? What
the guy? Guy seemed very smart. I don't know. I don't know

(13:43):
what was going on. Did heever lose his cool at any point?
I left. I had to goget my five have no idea that conversation,
I kid you not. I'm notexaggerating for a funny radio conversation.
That is how it went up andthat went on for over two minutes until
I got up and went down theescalator. I would have had to know
I'm dying to knowing to know howit ended, Like why would she not
accept that she was? You knowwhat? I know? It actually sounds

(14:07):
like a conversation that me and Jaywould have and I would be the one
that's in the wrong building and belike, yeah, I don't know what
you want me to tell you. This is the building that they told me
to be in, so I'm here. You'd never tells you would never accept
that she's in the wrong building. She said, well, this is the
building I walked into and now I'mhere. I'm like, okay, we'll
stay there. Then you're in thewrong building. Make it work. Yeah,
Nor would I be calling you honey? Oh wow? But anyway.

(14:31):
A couple of Fox to News headlines, So a small plane crashed in Washington
County, killing a flight instructor andinjuring his student. The aircraft went down
yesterday afternoon near Michigan Avenue and LimaCenter Road or is it Lima Center Road
in brid Lima in Bridgewater Township. But the uh Lima, the forty six

(14:54):
year old instructor was from Dearborn.Oh wow. The U of M student
was twenty two years old from NorthCarolina. The taken a flight lesson Yeah
it's gotta be right. Yeah,it's a small, small plane. Oh
wow. We're gonna learn more,I guess in the coming days. But
that was a big deal yesterday becauseagain it was I kept getting these breaking
newslert Chester. As soon as Ilanded, I guess AT and T had

(15:16):
an outage again yesterday. Did youhear about that? No, because when
I landed, my daughter's and myphone has been working all morning. I'm
like, mine's fine. But thenI was like, oh, I was
on plane Wi Fi and it was. And then she sent me the report.
It was a second outage with ATand T. And how does this
happen twice in like under a month? Right, Well, and guarantee you're

(15:37):
not getting a credit on your billfor the amount of time that you weren't
able to use your phone. No, what was intended to be a harmless
prank ended with serious consequences for agroup of teens on Detroit's West Side.
A car full of girls racing througha stop sign attempting to get away after
being caught on video egging a carand a home in the Ara and the

(15:58):
area of Puritan and Schaeffer. Thewoman in the other vehicle is taken to
the hospital. Fortunately she's expected tomake a full recovery. The girls ran
away from the scene, but werecaught by police a short time later.
So these girls were like egging acar and then trying to speed off and
hit another car, got t boned. Yeah, yeah, by the way,
that's not a prank. That's justa flat out crime, right,

(16:19):
Sure, that's committing a crime.You're not teeping someone's house and it's meant
to be funny, which, bythe way, don't teep in my house.
But you know that it's not asextensive. The damage isn't really gonna
be there funny. You're hitting thewrong car. It's the wrong car with
eggs. That's not the car.Apple making big waves with their announcement of

(16:40):
what's next in iPhones. Artificial intelligenceis already part of Siri, a very
basic robot assistant, but now they'llbe incorporating AI, the company behind Chat
GPT, so basically iPhone I guessis catching up to Microsoft. I didn't
realize they weren't a part of this. But now in this new iPhone update,

(17:02):
I guess in the fall, you'rerather than having all those apps to
do things, you're just going tobe able to ask your iPhone, which
is going to make it like dangerouslyintelligent. I don't necessarily love that,
but I also have a really bigbeef. I don't know if you guys
have noticed this, but on Facebook, if you go to like the search
bar, like you're going to lookup a friend or someone on Facebook,

(17:26):
it automatically says like meta, metaAI or something, and you can ask
it a question. And I'm like, no, I don't want anything to
do with this AI nonsense. Iwant to be able to look up the
friend on Facebook that I'm that I'mlooking for. Have you guys noticed that?
What with the artificial And yeah,I've seen it on Instagram too,
But what would the artificial intelligence helpyou with and looking someone up? Because

(17:48):
it's not really supposed to be ableto do that. One hundred point three
w and I c's latest news.I can click on that and it'll tell
me everything from the Facebook page thatis going on, like I plan a
trip to Hawaii volunteering one on one. These are all the things that are
like the suggested things that are comingup on my ask meta AI right now.

(18:10):
Yeah, it's a lot. Imean it's really it is before you
know, and now it's saying thatthese new the new iPhone updates is going
to be like now you can justsay to your phone, hey, will
you clean up this photograph for me? Make me look a little skinnier.
It'll just do it. Oh okay, Now I'm not like that, like
get rid of the person in thebackground so that it can be an empty
photo. Will just me like Iwould like that. Yeah, you want

(18:32):
to have to use a third partyapp, so we'll see what happens.
You're like, this is really dangerousthough. A lot of AI taken over
the world. Just tell me youguys have some good news. Feel good
in the D one hundred point threewn i S is brought to you today
by Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort.A fifteen year old girl who got attacked

(18:55):
by a shark on the Florida PanhandleFriday. Luckily, several nurses and two
doctors happened to be on the beach, including a doctor named Muhammad Ali.
Here he is wow Here he istalking about the rescue. We all started
running out of the water and grabbedmy son, he grabbed his daughter and
leap running toward the beach, sawcloudy red water from the shark attack,

(19:18):
looked Downder and saw the severity ofinjuryers realized that we you know, anybody
had any kind of medical novels andmoving to help. Amazing that it was
just kind of God's will that everybodywas there to help. At the same
time, Wait, what are thechances you have, like medical people all
like on on the beach right therewhen something like that happens. What a
what a blessing? Though, Yeah, you know, thank God for that

(19:41):
and for all those people that arewilling to help. I'm trying to think
of myself being in a situation though, where I know that there was just
a shark attack and someone like clearlyprobably needs help getting to shore. I
don't know if my body, Ithink I would be in such a state
of panic that are you attacked orwatching and knowing that there's a shark close
by that I don't think that Icould actually get back into the water and

(20:04):
get that person out. Like blessthese people that power through that that fear.
You know, well, that's likean emergency room nurse or an emergency
room doctor, right, I meanthey see not only are they're trying to
save you, but they see somehorrible things. Absolutely, So yeah,
congratulations to the medical staff there.I heard this morning too driving in there

(20:26):
was a report that said there aremore shark attacks in Florida and I think
Hawaii than they've seen in a longtime, and that they said to just
be you know, to really bevilligent and make sure you look at the
signs and all that. And I'mgoing, what did I say? Villigion?
What is it again? A vigilant? Vigilant? Yeah, you're tired,

(20:47):
it's okay, or be villagent. But the point is is to you
know, to check in with thelifeguard and just don't and I don't I
don't remember warnings like that ever. Before you go on vacation, check it
with the lifeguard and be sure there'sno sharks around. So it's been this
has been going on for a longtime, for a decade maybe longer.
Sharks coming coming into like three feetof water like this is you know,

(21:12):
for a long time now, thishas been going on. So that's why
I said We talked about it likea week or so ago, and I
said, from the get go,baby Ellison made a policy to that there's
too much stuff in the ocean. And I am a water baby. I
in the lake and swimming. Imean, I love to swim and be
in the water. And it doesnot need to be the ocean. No,

(21:36):
No, I'm happy to look atthe ocean. And that's it.
Joined by Alan Longstreet Man forty. It was in the forties this morning.
Happy June. Everybody Happy June.Isn't that weird? What is that?
Yeah, June's always cool for acouple of days and then you know we're
sweating before you know it. Thething is, we have that big,
that big stretch of hot weather likepre Memorial Day. So we were pryed

(21:57):
to be angry when you know, things inevitably take a little step back and
that's it. But yesterday morning, man, with the clouds, I think
that's the key. If it's likeforties with clouds, that's like, that's
fall, right, that's the fall, Fiel. We'll at least get the
sun today. We warm things upseventies near ninety Thursday into the nineties early
next week. So he was coming. Heat is building. We will get
there, I promise. When Iwas going to enjoy the forties, then

(22:18):
please do. When when I wasin the green room talking to Lama Lang
herself Kristen Krook from Smallville, theweather did come up in small talk.
Oh yeah, the weather has justbeen so odd, so storms. It's
the easiest thing to go to.I said, you're right, Kristen,
so many, so many storms.Yeah. Did you say Cumulonimus? No?
Jay, did you say, bythe way, I'm I'm Mark Pillow's

(22:41):
agent, in case you were wonderingwho I am? No? Do you
have an agent? Badge John?Yeah, lanyard? It was a lanyard.
Did you need an agent? Ilike doing a lot of pre pro
bonover agent. You shut up withmy from bone at work. It makes
me happy. I'm glad that itmakes you happy. I just want you

(23:03):
to be making some money. Yeah, you know, to make money doing
this. It's all good times, all right. So weather looks okay here.
Yeah, we're fine today, reallyreally nice. But it is cool
and then yeah, and then weget all sweaty soon. So good pool
weather got a long street school backinto town school, school, back into

said, like things that you knowwe're thirty years old, don't necessarily hold
up today and Jerry's. But inthat show VIEP, she was the most
politically incorrect person character you could everhave. Well, yeah, I don't

(27:26):
know, I've never seen it.Veep is definitely a show I have to
Oh, I have to go backand binge. Yeah. Russell Crowe is
feeling slightly uncomfortable with Gladiator too, because he has no say in how it's
done since he's not in it.He said, I can't say anything.
It's not my place. My characteris six feet under. Wait did he
die at the end of Gladiator?Apparently I don't remember that. I don't

(27:48):
remember either. Oh. What Iremember, though, is how good Joaquin
Phoenix. I mean, Gladiator isa great movie. Everybody's good, but
Joaquin Phoenix was when you physically hatesomeone so much much, they're doing a
really good job their job. Yeah. Denise Richards is getting a reality show
with E called Denise Richards and theWild Things Less Listen. He is grasping

(28:11):
for straws. They like took downall of their regular programming. Kardashians left.
All this stuff that I used towatch E for is gone, So
they're now trying to fill in thegaps. What so Denise Richards' OnlyFans with
her daughter working out. It's gonnabe a half hour comedic docuseries starring Denise,

(28:33):
her husband Aaron, and her threedaughters. It'll center around the complicated
and unpredictable drama in her personal lifeand how her family members test each other's
boundaries while dealing with life in thespotlight. That show is set to premiere
in twenty twenty five. Would youhave one thing though? But does she
have a big fan base though?People like, I mean like, I
don't know that. I don't know. I have curiosity on what she's up

(28:56):
to. Well, she was onReal Housewives of Beverly Hills for a couple
of seasons. People loved her there. Her only fans is killing it,
So I don't know. Yeah, because she does it with her daughter.
So people don't do it together. They don't. I thought they had so.
I think they each have their ownseparate owner. Oh I thought they
had one together. Oh no,I don't well anyway think so anyway,

(29:17):
can you please put that show withAlec Baldwin's reality show on the shelf of
I'm not going to watch that.Yeah, he's up there, thank you.
And finally, the pants that TomBrady were in his last NFL game
have a new owner. They paideighty nine thousand dollars for them. No
idea who this person is that boughtthem, but the pants were wore in

(29:40):
the final game of his career.Unfortunately, Tampa Bay Bucks lost to the
Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Wild CardGame. But still, I mean,
they went for a crazy price TVTonight America Scott Talent and beat Shazam Father's
Day face off. All right,Chelsea, thank you so much. Coming
up at one hundred point three wN I see j Summer Adventures taking you

(30:02):
to our summer concert with new Kidson the block. That's coming up.
A first, Allison's bubble is onthe way. Next, you want to
put some stuff on layaway for Christmas? Get started? Now? You need
a kmart? All right, Well, how many are there and where are
they? M all right? Comingup in the morning. I see in

(30:30):
the bubble. Today Kmart was awesome. They had the blue Light special you
could put stuff on layaway. Idon't know if layowa is even a thing
anywhere anymore, but it was nice. It's like I gotta go put fifty
cents on my lay away. It'llbe ready for Christmas. Yeah, right,
So thirty years ago there were justunder twenty five hundred kmart stores.
Thirty years ago, now there aresix six kmart stores. They are in

(30:56):
the U, in the US VirginIslands, and one each in Kendale Lakes,
Florida, Long Island, New Yorkand Guam. Wow. Loved Kroger.
It's like a nostalgic thing for methough. Kmart. Sorry. I
used to go with my grandparents andwe would go get school supplies and and

(31:18):
things like that, So I lovedKmart. Well, now you know where
to go to get Long Island Chelseagam Yeah, hey, you don't listen.
I know it's Tuesday, and ourcereal drive was last Thursday, but
you know, it was a whirlwindday and then I flew out of town
that day and it was just kindof crazy. But if I haven't said
it, I would just want tosay again thank you to everybody that came

(31:41):
by and brought us money and broughtus cereal. There's a lot of great
stories that came out of Thursday.I know it was another record breaking day
for serial donations. So much sothat we just got a total yesterday.
Yeah yeah, I mean they justtotaled it up yesterday and it was like,
I guess groundbreaking. We'll get youthe numbers. But thanks to nurse
Pam and Wendy and Oliver, nursesat Children's Hospital and everybody that stopped by

(32:05):
to see us and bring cereal.Really a special day. And really,
you know, we've done this formany years and I always feel like sometimes
there's lolls and Okay, we gota big donation and then it goes.
I mean, we were just slammedall morning. And and I didn't realize
that because when I got on thebus of cereal, I thought, geez,
I feel like the bus is usuallyjammed up with cerebral. They took
all the seats out of the bus, so there were no seats in the

(32:29):
back half of the bus, whichis why that was all cereal packed in.
Oh wow, that's crazy. Ididn't know that you could do that.
No, you take the bus,the seats out of the bus,
the buses out of the seat,so yeah, the seats out of the
bus. Yeah. Way, I'mreally I'm struggling. I'm being villagent for
sure. Alison maybe I'll call youALYSSA drumstick and seven eleven have teamed up

(32:52):
to create the Drumstick Slurpy blue RaspberryVanilla Cone, which you'll be able to
get here soon. I don't knowhow well that will taste, but no,
I no, no. I lovea drumstick. Yeah, and I
love a slurpee. But who knows. Sometimes something doesn't sound good and then
you know, you try it andyou're like, yeah, this actually worked

(33:15):
out better than I thought you could. A big construction project kicking off in
McCombe County. Work is getting underwayon the Van Dyke Freeway between twenty seven
and thirty four mile roads in Washingtonand Bruce Townships. It includes asphalt and
concrete repairs, new SIDEWI thank goodness, because there's not enough construction projects going
on. It's like the first It'sinsane. It's like the first day of

(33:39):
warm weather happened. Whenever that happened, and who knows, And it was
just a license from m DOT orwhoever to just start putting orange barrels everywhere
everywhere. Is there ever going tobe a summer that we get through construction
free? I mean, I doubtit. I highly doubt it, but

(34:00):
like, is it ever gonna be? Like, at a minimum, I
feel like it's just been insane anyhere. We can never get projects.
It's like fifteen years long. Thereneeds to be a documentary on that,
because I honestly don't I mean,I don't even believe you now when you
say that it's been so long. The saddest part though, is that I

(34:22):
guarantee the second that that fifteen yearsis up, they're gonna have to restart
it all over again because of thewear and tear from the stuff that was
put down fifteen years ago. Andthat's the thing. It would be fine
if we could deal with I mean, where I live, there is not
a square inch of my area thatdoesn't have barrels and cones. It's insane,

(34:44):
and it would be fine if thatwas it. Like you're you're ripping
up every single road you can getyour hands on. Okay, I'll suck
it up and deal with it.That means we're done for the rest of
my lifetime. We're done. I'llI'll come more. What ever? Done?
Do you understand that when the Iseventy five project is done, which
I deal with almost every day andI've been talking about it for I feel

(35:06):
like five years. I will belike sixty five. Where what's our friend
who does our goes to Disney Worldwith us and does our videos? Kyle
Kyle. Yeah, we need toget Kyle involved and we just need to
make a documentary. Oh, youshould say he needs to be a Time
Labs video of me getting older andfatter and greater or seventy five. But

(35:30):
it's not normal for a construction projectto take this long. No, it's
not. I mean they're everywhere,though, you're right, they're everywhere.
Yeah, knew this morning. Dodgeis sounding the alarm for more than two
hundred thousand of its trucks over aserious software glitch that could lead to a
crash. The recall covers the DodgeDurango RAM twenty five hundred RAM thirty five
hundred from twenty twenty two. Accordingto the automaker, the antalog break system

(35:53):
can suddenly fail while driving and withoutnotice. Fortunately, I love this.
It's always at the end of everyrecall. Fortunately, the fix is free
and easy. Just contact your dealership. Well, it has to be,
that's not. It's so terrifying though, Like, what if you don't get
into the dealership in time, andyours glitches well before you get there.

(36:14):
They well, that's true. Butagain I think about too, like you,
Like, when I think like there'sa recall, I'm thinking they're taking
your Durango and putting it up andtaking the wheels off and switching out the
It's like, it's an easy thing. It's just a software thing. It's
like literally probably a flash drive.Yep, but that's what they do.
I guess these teslas. Is thatthe Elon musk cars the teslas. Yeah,

(36:35):
when they do recalls, like wehear them all the time. The
Tesla has been recalled. The guythat it owns a Tesla, he goes,
yeah, you know what the recallis. He goes, You pull
into the driveway and plug it inand it fixes itself. I'm like,
wow, you never hear how easythat it is. It's a software update
your phone and they can do itfrom their headquarters and it is send the

(42:29):
Wow, it is time for That'sincredible. That's incredible. Incredible story from
around the world and beyond. We'llstart with this today. An Ohio principle,
an outgoing principle, was arrested afterattempting to steal four thousand, three
hundred dollars worth of electronics from theschool he was leaving. So it sounds
like he left the school and thendecide I'm going to take some you know,

(42:49):
laptops can take your computer with you. Yeah, just gonna steal it.
Who would know it was gone?I don't think it works that way,
but wow. A Chick fil Alocation in Louisiana is hosting day long
summer camps for pre teens between theages of five and twelve, which will
teach them how to work at Chickfil A. They're also charging parents thirty

(43:10):
five dollars a day. It's summercamp that teaches you how to work at
Chick fil A. Well, thereis McDonald's college, right, maybe maybe
that's kind of along the same lines. I don't know. I don't know
that McDonald's charges you for their college. Though I don't know how it works.

(43:30):
I just know when I worked atMcDonald's, coworker was going. I
just know that when I worked atBurger King, I had to sit in
the back room that was the sizeof a small closet and watch VHS tapes
ab how to make chicken sandwiches andwhoppers. And that was about the education
I got. That's great. Howabout this, Let's talk a little bit
about Optimist Prime. Optimist Prime, leader of the line. The police in

(43:53):
Texas have arrested Optimist Prime for drivinga stolen vehicle, not the character Optimist
Optimist Prime, a thirty seven yearold guy whose name on his ID is
Optimis Prime Blakely. He's being heldon eight thousand dollars bond. That's incredible.
Uh. One, if you're aparent, why would you name your
kid that? And two if youdid not, and someone chose to actually

(44:15):
change their name legally to that, what's wrong with you? You're a big
fan? Yeah. Also, ifyou're gonna name your children after you know
characters don't go with the heroes andnot the villains, well, bumblebee,
because you're setting them up for afailure. A teenage Jim employee from Indiana

(44:37):
used his mixed martial arts and jiujitsu training to stop someone he thought was
breaking into his car. The manmessing with his car said he works at
the shop next door and thought thathis vehicle was next Here's a teen Gavin
Archer and the man accused of breakinginto the car explaining their side of the
story. Listen carefully, that's kindof getting a little nervous, and he

(45:00):
just straight up attacked me. Oh, I've been so fast that you don't
really have time to think. Youcan see in the video where I begin
to walk away back towards my shop, he's saying things like don't go anywhere.
I'm calling the cops. I knowwhat that gym does. I know
this guy's a trained fighter. Sowhen he says don't go anywhere, like,
the last thing I want to donow is turn around and like not

(45:22):
be able to see this guy. Finally, I like took a stand,
raised my voice a little bit,and like took a step like, hey,
listen to me. He took astep back and pushed the gym door
open the rest of the way sothat I just reacted and went after him.
That's incredible. By the way,who starts a fight with anybody in
the parking a lot of an mmagym? Right, it's probably duds are

(45:42):
good. Right. That's like myfear because since I've had this rental car,
I've gotten into, well once gotteninto three times, opened up someone
else's car, just opened up someoneelse's car one time, started to sit
in it. And I'm like,if I don't stop doing this, the
person who owns the car that Ido this too next is gonna be like,

(46:04):
they're gonna come flying out of somewhere. So the car is just unlocked
or yeah they were, No,they were all unlocked. I just walked
up and opened up the doors.Yeah, an honest Anytown, USA.
Yeah too. When you're riding shotgun, do you ever put your feet up
on the dash sick? Don't dothat. You might not want to do
that anymore after seeing a video ofwhat happens when an airbag deploys, you

(46:27):
better be real flexible too, becauseit's not gonna feel good. Your feet
are on the dashboard and the airbagdeploys, it shoots out at over two
hundred miles per hour. This intensespeed propels your feet and legs upwards and
back towards your face and chest.Your legs slam into your upper body and

(46:47):
can break your bones, and yourknees can hit your head so hard that
it can cause permanent damage to yourbrain. Okay, alright, we got
it. Well. I'm also surprisedis that you still have feet like I
would think that there'd be a possibilitythat you wouldn't anymore. That's the way
to flip a big toe off right, just right quick. One. Four

(47:10):
people would change their eye color ifthey could. The top colors we choose
blue or cream. I'd stick withmy brown eyes. I like him.
There's nothing I'd rather be. Idon't think. I don't. Yeah,
leave your eyes alone. Plus theymake those contacts right, really am an
act with the wild Eyes for Halloween. There you go, the trade's favorite
game, Battle of the Sexes, brought to you by Hollywood Casino at Greek

(47:35):
Town. Two contestants on are readyto go. Allison's going to play for
Amber lives in Westland. I'll playedfor Doug, going for win number two.
Chelseall asked the questions, let's playBattle of the Sexes. Alison,
name a hairdresser's tool. Oh boy, scissors number one, ten points.
