Speaker 1 (00:00):
I wanted to say hello to you guys from Dave Kolier,
who I was with yesterday morning. Dave's wife Melissa put
together a really nice event and it was it was
a private fundraiser just about just about cancer and what
it does to families and all that it was, and
Dave was like the keynote speaker. But I got to

(00:20):
go out to this place where they had it early
and I did. I did maybe like a fifteen twenty
minute sit down with him. Yeah, we're going later this
week on Fox too. But I really we really got
into a lot of stuff and it was you know
when we were on with Dave kool Yeah, I mean Dave,
you know, battle cancer and he's in remission, he's cured.
You know, he has cured and uh but yeah, he's fantastic.

(00:44):
And we talked a little bit about that journey.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
But here's a little bit of it. Look at this
beautiful home. It's not my home. It's not Dave cool.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
But David and I are gonna have a great talk
and you can watch it this week on Fox two
and Fox Local.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Want to talk about it all. David's great seeing you,
thank you, So it's great. Great to be seen and
not viewed. And you're wearing a red Wings jursey. It's
almost time. That's the real.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Story and it's the hockey fights cancer.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Nice, pretty cool, all right? Watch this week Dave was great.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
It's awesome because you answered my question that I was
going to ask you.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
I thought that was Dave's house to house.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
No, it's interesting.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
It looked like you were in a living room.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, it was this really nice house that I guess
they you can like have your event there. You know
some people do that sometimes when they have a big
enough house you can know you it's because you want
to this land, right, And I think I think they
said that the person that owns the house like is
a producer on the Today Show in New York and
has a Michigan home too, And they got you know,
they're friends of Dave. That was really nice. I got

(01:45):
to see Don Kelly out there, so was there. I
was only there for about an hour and a half
And yeah, did that interview.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
That was great. Then last night I was on UH.
I was asked to be on.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Streams are coming True all over the place.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Smoking Mountain food, Facingokah Brooks and Christy.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
It was just a matter of time. And I don't
know if this is what your thought process was, but
I'm going to keep talking about this show, and someday
I'm going to be on it.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
You know, I wanted to be on it someday in
a food capacity, Yeah, like I wanted to be I.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Want it to be a Pauladine's restaurant with them.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Right right well by the way Christy said yesterday because
I asked her. I asked her in their interview, I said,
is it great the Pauladine restaurant? And she said she
likes the breakfast better than the dinner.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Really, how controversial.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
I know what other controversial things went down in that
live stream.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
I have to tell you, I have a very hard time.
They're great. I have a hard time doing that because
we're built to do this. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
And we're built for brevity. Yeah, We're built to like
we and move along.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
We move along we do.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I mean, I mean radio shows for the most part,
I mean cannot be much of stream of consciousness. You've
got to kind of you know, we're always moving along,
and that is like long form relax Yeah, And I'm
not good with long form relaxes.

Speaker 3 (02:55):
I can't take to start getting anxious, right.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
So I start turning into like, let me ask questions
now because I can't take I have to keep things
like moving moving, and that's that's not what those are.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Live streams are meant to be kind of like organic.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
And interactive with comments and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
But Chelsea Kible popped on to the chat.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I know, I feel bad.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I didn't Allison did not, although there there was in
fact a lot of Alison talking Yes.

Speaker 5 (03:20):
So we just found out that Okay, do you remember
when Alison said you just watched so much dumb YouTube stuff?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
She said, I'm not calling them dumb.

Speaker 5 (03:30):
Well I just saw today that she is, uh that
she's actually uh subscribed to the channel now herself.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
That's great she should.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
We were like, okay, that's can I just back the
old Kindred Spirits and Chelsea, I'd like to get to
know you better.

Speaker 5 (03:48):
Okay, there's a big similarity between alison and and Christy's
and I'm I'm a little bit of a crazy every
animal lady. There are dogs, four cats, and ten chickens
on the Ramshaw.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Wow. All right, Nelson will come in every day, and
I mean if she could, if she could stop and
save an animal every day on the way to work.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
She will and she has. Did Warren make the cinamon bread?

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I don't know, wait, maybe Chelsea would probably know that.
I'm not sure, because you know, it would have been
helpful if Allison popped on. So sorry, Chelsea's ordained to
Chelsea marries. People just commented that's wild. Yeah, and then
she disappeared like ten minutes. Chelsea got her little comments

(04:31):
and she was.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Gone, Yeah, that was it.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
So I was I was just about to praise her hardcore.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
Like, look at you, well, chat you can still do
that because I popped on this second that that thing
was there.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
I was the first comment.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Jay Towers if you could have seen the look on
his face when he realized that I entered the chat.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Oh if I could just I'm never that I'm never.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Going to be your ride or die when Cody can't
do it. Chelsea just secured position number two.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Yeah, it's all right.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I just could not miss out on.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, so they know that I made that dumb shows
on YouTube thing about that Shrek trendy guy.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Right, I don't yeah, probably, I don't think listen. I
mean they they know that we goof I mean, that's
what we do.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
I mean, you do watch dumb shows.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
It doesn't mean them. And also Arne did not make
cinnamon bread, but he did.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Make a goolash over the weekend, so it's it's complicated.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Well yeah, you know he's he's got to make things.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Well listen, you know.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
The whole reason I even popped onto the show is again,
I love the fact that I said this on their
their their program last night. We live in a world
where we are used to watching our shows on network
television and our scripted shows and all, and there are
people out there in the world that are hustling and
doing their own content and and getting their own following.

(05:57):
Anybody can do this. I mean no, I didn't say
it can do it good, but I mean anybody can
do it. And you can have your own little piece
of the world out there that everybody sees.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
And you know what, I like what they do?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, in cool. And then they have their friends Rich
and Gen. I watched them too, and.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
They have their own shows.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Christ and Gen popped on as well.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
What did they do are they?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
They did food and something.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
They test things from Costco, like like yesterday they tested
out the food that you buy a you know that's
good for twenty five years. And then in your in
your storm shelter, no, the shelter food, okay, in case
there's the end of the world. Yeah, they made mac
and cheese and to made a soup and cheesy lasagna.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
That was you know, can what's it? They said it
was okay.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
I thought it was really cool that at the very
very beginning of the stream that you were on they
composed like they put this like video music video together.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Men. Cool, it's a montage.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
She got mad skills.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I said, you have a staff. No, it's all Christy.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Wow, I got to.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Refilm a cat video because I can't edit out a
part where yeah, my vacuums in the background.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
One of those things is not like the other.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
No, very different.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
So anyway, thank you so much to Brooks and Christy.
They're fun and yes, we're gonna come and see them.
We learned all about Pigeon Forge and Severeville, where Dolly
Parton's from, and Brooks is actually related to Dolly Parton
for his cousin.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
All this crazy stuff
