Speaker 1 (00:00):
One under point three w and I see with Jay

(00:01):
Towers in the morning. I'm excited because we are presenting
something really special in December, December eighth, at the beautiful
Detroit Masonic Temple. Mcaulay Culkin will be there to show
Home Alone and Max on with us. Now, Max, hello to.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
You, Hello, hello you, hello everybit.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
It's good. It's good to hear from you. Listen, I
gotta tell you, you're about to embark on a pretty
cool journey. You're about to go city to city night
after night for the next month or so and have
some fun hanging out with fans and show Home alone. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
It's like it's like I'm back in the Pizza Underground
or something.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
But yeah, but actually, this this one's even better. I
get a bus, not just a van, you know. Yeah,
And so, yeah, you going to the city to the city.
We're bringing some holidayach year. It's a nostalgia some of
me embracing me being me professionally. Uh, and we're gonna
we're gonna watch the movie and then yeah, I'm gonna
do look at Q and A's look an hour or
so afterwards. And yeah, No, it's gonna be fun. It's

(00:59):
kind of explore, explore this great country.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Right, Yeah, And I think people really like the idea
of having an experience that is unique. I mean being
able to watch this movie with Kevin McAllister and then
ask questions afterwards and have this experience mean something to people.
And I think you got to be ready to, I guess,
be bombarded with every home alone question known to man.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I mean, yes, i'd like I like to think that
I did myself for the oncoming storm. But yeah, I
know I'm looking forward to Yeah, just kind of I
just said, checking kind of everything out. It'll be interesting,
you know. It's it's funny. I can't remember the last
time I saw that movie like with like people like
outside of like my immediate family or something like that,
you know, so gosh, it's been about thirty four years. Yeah,

(01:47):
you know, yeah, since since I did it. So it's
you know, probably the last time I was set down
was the paying audience and actually watched the movie and
see people's actual reactions and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, No, I mean,
I'm I'm fascinating, you know, Yeah, I'm you know, I
want to. I don't I don't know what to expect.
I've never done anything like this before, these kind of
speaking things or just you know, any kind of like,

(02:10):
you know, this kind of fan interaction kind of stuff.
You know, So I don't know what to expects. But
at the same time, it sounds like fun. It sounds
very silly, and you know, I like fun, and so
I was like, yeah, sure, I'm why not.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
And listen, I'm not telling you anything you don't know.
I mean, you're Acaulay Culkin. You were part of a
film series that makes people very happy. I mean, I'm
forty nine years old. I saw this movie when I
was you know, I don't know, a freshman in high
school maybe, and it was the way to kind of
experience the holidays. We had classic black and white movies,
and we had you know, Rudolph and all these things.

(02:43):
But this was an opportunity to see, like, you know,
a kid taking on the bad guys at Christmas time
and and doing everything we wish we could do. So
it's a it's a cool experience that you're gonna, I
guess experience this with that generation as well.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah, yeah, no, exactly, That's what I mean. Like I
I I almost I'm assuming that I've lost touch, you know,
what it means with everyone else, because I know what
it means to me, you know, and I know what
it means when I when I show my kids it,
you know, I understand those those feelings. So you know, Yeah,
but you know, it's funny like I'm not sure I

(03:20):
don't know how the rest of the world looks at it,
you know, because I just know it from my own perspective, right, Yeah,
So you know, it'll be very interesting to kind of
get out there and kind of just see, you know,
how how it resonates with people, you know, if it still.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Does absolutely well. Listen, the tickets are really seldom fast
for this, and it's going to be an exciting night
in Detroit. I hope you'll get to spend a little
time in our city. And one other thing I just
wanted to mention to you how I think how special
it was to see you get that star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame last year, and see Catherine O'Hara there,
and see you and your family there, and just you know,

(03:54):
be a part of this pop culture history in a
movie that we you know, we all love movies that
we loved so much. Really special, it really was, you know,
it was funny enough.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
I got asked about it yesterday just randomly, like you know,
like a non interview kind of situation, and I was
just like, yeah, honestly, it was just really cool to
I mean kind of be honored in that kind of way. Yeah,
you know, but at the same time, the best part
was for me to do it in front of my family. Yeah,
to do it in front of my kids that you know,
they got to kind of see that, but like, oh, yeah,
you know, like you know, we're all to look at

(04:26):
snowflakes here, but Paca's special. I used the word esteam,
you know, I felt quite esteemed that day. Yeah, it
was like, yeah, it was. It was really cool. So
like yeah, like I said, just you know, it's one
thing for me, but it's another thing to make my
family proud. And that's really what like, you know, that's
why my heart was in my throat the entire time.
You know. Yeah, believe me, if I talk about it
any more and I start crying right.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Now, well listen, you're you're fantastic. We're so glad you're
doing this. We look forward to seeing the Detroit Massonic
Temple on December eighth.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
The forty fourth anniversary of CHONN. Lennon passing away. So wow,
I don't forget to watch Home alone.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
There's two, because there's two things that go great together.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Uh Matt good good hearing from you. Thank you for
being with us today and we'll see in Detroit. Thank
you so much.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Oh thanks for having me
