Under the umbrella sky.

going to bring you along for the twenty twenty five
tasting task for the Flower and Food Festival. We've got
everything from berry of potatoes, pork belly bowls, and then
we're just going to have a relaxed day showing you
around the park, a little bit of show from my ken,
and then we're even going to show you some animal
(01:31):
topiaries and beautiful flowers. It's really gorgeous here at Dollywood,
it is, and they've got the new Dollywood Hollywood sign
up if you know what I'm talking Allison.
Speaker 4 (01:40):
So we hope that you'll come along and join us because.
Speaker 1 (01:43):

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Everybody entering the third of Smoking Mountain, Faith, Food and Fun.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
Yeah, So have you moved on from Yankee in the South? Yeah? No,
I should watch Yank in the South. Okay, here's the thing.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
So that's our new friend Brooks Brooks and Christie Brooks
and Christy And here's the thing about Christy. Okay, when
they try food, sometimes Christie will be.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Like mm hmm Okay, yeah, I'm getting a little hit
of this. I like this. But if she twirls the
fork girl with the twirl. That means it's really good.
And that's your barometer, if you will.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
You're picking up on all of her manners.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
That's Oh, I know, I'll be buying a girl with
a twirl shirt.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
How about that?
Speaker 4 (02:23):
Oh it's the same.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Oh no, excuse me.
Speaker 4 (02:28):
What I don't understand is when I was.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Doing my YouTube videos for that period of time when
I was out of work and I learned how to
star swipe, yeah right, yeah, whatever, I'd get like.
Speaker 1 (02:39):
Three hundred views. I was going, I was going all.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
Over the place. People are consistent, Alison.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
Every consistency is they got twelve they got twelve thousand subscribers.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Wow, that's pretty impressive. Pretty good. I'm surprised that.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
I wonder if if they like Yankee in the South, people.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Are here's something so people understand what I'm talking about,
just because I know that, I don't want you to
feel left out of this. I want you to be
included in this. In this one, what happens is anything
you want. The technology and algorithms watch everything you do.
My father is the first one to say, oh did
you see this on YouTube? I can't believe this or that,
and it's I'm like dad, the more you watch a
(03:20):
video about something you hate, the more you're gonna get
videos about something you hate.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
So I started watching this yankee in the South at
Christmas time, and I think they're in the Pigeon Forge
area near there, I don't know, the Great Smoky Mountains.
So now I keep getting fed great. So there's another
couple that just goes out. I don't know, they just
go out and eat and their videos aren't so great.
But but but you get sucked in because it knows
kind of what you're watching.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
Right, I'm dying to know if there's like a couple
in Detroit that has a YouTube channel.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
I don't know, it could be you know, heads to.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Tony's on I seventy five and like, you know, tells
their subscribers about it.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
Why are we doing it?
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Right?
Speaker 4 (04:01):
So anyway to mcna Island and Traverse City.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
They were very very nice, and you know the break
that we did that I put on social media, we
were a little sarcastic. You guys were teasing me and
we were laughing. But you know, I thought it was
sweet that uh that Brooks wrote.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
You know, maybe after.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
A while, you know, Allison and Chelsea will listen.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
We wasn't personal.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
It's just how much dumb YouTube stuff you watch.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
And I'm not calling them dumb right right, but a
lot of your shows are.
Speaker 3 (04:28):
But in that little exchange over the weekend with Brooks,
I've learned that they also have to bring a friend
pass to Dollywood so we can go on their pass.
When Elson and I used to work for Disney, we
had the Silver pass and we could bring friends three.
Speaker 5 (04:42):
So we think that we're going to go to Dollywood
with them.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Our boss, Colleen, by the way, said that she has
actually been working for months on this, trying to get
us in.
Speaker 4 (04:51):
Really yeah, really about that?
Speaker 1 (04:53):
So I will see I end up.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I think I'll be doing it myself because I I've
got new connections.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
Oh, you don't need us then anymore.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I don't even hurt any Oh.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
I thought you meant.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
You're gonna It's so crazy though, that you immediately I mean,
you are out.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
It always hurts my feelings when you go for the
worst with me, like I wouldn't include you.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
I didn't.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
I got confused.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I just thought, not that you didn't care about us anymore,
But you have these new friends.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
You have another couple of.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
Christy is now running a cooking channel and Brooks is
starting a sports and wrestling commentary. I said, I'll have
to introduce him with Dan Housen. Oh my gosh. And
they offered a call into the radio show anytime we like.
And by the way, I did ask, how is that
cinnamon bread? Because all these people on these channels go
to Dollywood and bring home cinnamon bread bags of hot
cinnamon bread. Allegedly, Christy has copied the recipe and they
(05:45):
send it to us.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Oh my god, this is a we're getting real serious
with each other. Yeah, that's very exciting.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
So who's going to take the time one weekend to
make the cinnamon bread?
Speaker 4 (05:55):
Is it going to be you? J oh no, no, no, no, it.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Was gonna be Worren.
Speaker 4 (05:59):
Oh yeah, okay, eat bakes.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
I just thought it was gonna be Chelsea. Cut into
Gray's Anatomy time. Warnold, excuse you?
Speaker 4 (06:08):
Why can I sausage bowl ball?
Speaker 1 (06:12):
That's a family recipe. This is new.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
I worry it's with Chelsea. And let's be honest. When
you're asked to bring the ice to the party for friends,
nobody's having you at.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
The test kitchen.
Speaker 3 (06:25):
Ice ice is easy, but one other thing and then
we'll go. It is amazing, though, think about where we
are in the world with all of this, Like you
watch all these s U s es you and you'd
never connect with the stars of those shows.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
No, I don't know. I'd stalk them.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
I'd get a restraining order against the people I'm watching
if I were to contact them, like yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:46):
Right right, Like you wouldn't just start.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
You wouldn't start writing and chatting with the people from
Chicago Fire because they're act.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
They don't have time for you or me or anybody.
I might.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
I might, but they wouldn't return.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
However, Smoky Mountains, faith.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Food and fun, very attainable, very accessible, is what I
was going to say.
Speaker 1 (07:04):
Yeah, I'm excited.
Speaker 3 (07:07):
My point is that it's funny that you can, you
can in your own world on YouTube have your own thing, right,
and it doesn't mean you don't have to have the
backing of for agents and a team, and you could
just go out and do it yourself and get a
following from people in Detroit who have no you know,
they haven't spent any money trying to grab us, right,
you know, they're just they're good at.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
What they do, and you should start a channel.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
You should, we should.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
But I gotta tell you, Chelsea, I'm dead weight because
then all of my endeavors.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
I don't know why, but I'll just bring you down.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
It's not true.
