with some really special families. This is Katie, Katie, It's

Jay Towers at.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
W N I C Hi. How are you?
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Hi, you have a minute to chat.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
We're looking at Chase Junior's applications as we do every
time this year, and we were reading a little bit
about chance and wanted to ask you more. How do
you tell a little more of the story here?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
So chanted Breen tumor last year, and he had a
really hard time. He had to relearn how to like
walk talk. Sorry, I'm like shaky.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Oh No, you're good.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
You're good.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
We're just chatting, you know, don't want.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
To hear more. So he took about three month's recover
last time, and he actually just had surgery last week
to have his second brain tumor removed. Hopefully this is
the last time, but you never know. It can always
come back again. But he's doing great this time around.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
So he had a brain tumor. You discovered that he
was treated for it, and then he got another brain tumor, correct,
and the surgery was just recently. And is he still
in the hospital or home?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
He told him he actually just we have a follow
up appointment today and he just started going back to
school today too. Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Was he ready to get back to school?
Speaker 3 (01:39):
Was he excited to kind of have like a.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Normal routine again or was it like, eh, why do
I have to go? Well, I think every kid like
I don't want to go back to school, but right,
but he was excited to go back to a certain
extent some of us like would working and stuff. He
loves that class.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
So it was gonna ask what are some of the
things that he likes to do, Like, what are hobbies
and activities things that he likes.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
He loves video games, he likes quiet. He's actually a
pretty calm and corrected kid. He likes calm and quiet,
and he loves cats, Like we have six cats. Oh, hello, you.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Know you're you know, Allison is going to be Chance's
new best friend. Let's set up a playdate with our cats.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, He's like, we don't need any more of though,
anymore of though, mom? Because I told him, I was like,
if you want, you know, one of your own, because
I mean they're mainly like mine and his brother has one. Right,
He's like, but.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
We don't need anymore, man, Ah, that's funny for the
most part, has I mean the school and life. I mean,
I mean, listen, you hear brain tumor and people get
Really it's it's you get scared. Yeah, I mean I mean,
is life somewhat normal around these things?
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Yeah, it's it's pretty normal. The only thing that like
he has an issue with is sometimes the kids will
make fun of him at school for a scar on
his side.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Oh well, I'm clearly going to have to go to
that school and have a word.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Well, hopefully he realizes that the only freaks in those
situations are people that make fun of other people. That's right, right,
I know, I'm like, how can kids be so cruel?
It's not something he can help, you know, It's not
like he asked to have that, you know, star on
the back of his head or anything like that. But
(03:31):
kids can be mean. I mean, that's just today's society. Unfortunately.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Well, you tell them that.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Jay is going to come to the school with a
TV camera from Fox too and interview the kids and
ask what they you know, what they really think about stars,
and then we'll put them on TV and the whole
world can know that they're in trouble.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Now I like that.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Yeah, me too. Here's the deal. We thought, after looking
at this application and learning a little more about Chance,
we'd love to take you to Disney World with us
for Jay Juniors for our tenth year in December.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yes, oh my gosh, I love that.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Well, hopefully he'd love it too. I think you guys
would love to get away and Jess, especially after having
a surgery this year and going through all that. This
is an all expenses paid trip and you guys are
in You're part of the family, you.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
And Dad, both kids. Thank you so much. I appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
It's gonna be a great time. And you know, all
expenses paid, so the hotel, park passes, food, spending money.
It's just a nice little escape. And especially jet. Yeah right,
we have our own jet. You get on the Jersey
Mike's jet and your set.
Speaker 2 (04:34):

the incredible support of our sponsors and a huge thank
you to Jersey, Mike's, Planet Fitness, Canterbury Village.

of Hope. Awesome, thank you again.
