New Gift Exchange Idea

Jay throws out a new idea for the annual gift exchange.

Night for us. A lot of our Jay Juniors will
be out there. Thank you for that sunshine today and
a high of twenty eight degrees. I have an idea
for our Christmas exchange this year that we do on
the air, okay, because it is fun to watch and
listen to. People look forward to it every year, you know,
because we open each other's gifts and we show them
to you. And now that it's on Fox Local and
toob and you can watch it and you can listen

to it. Chelsea had made a point the other day
in passing that stuck with me. She was like, Oh,
I said, let's make Christmas easy this year with our shows.
We'll give each other gift cards so we don't have
to go out and do a lot of shopping and stuff.
And she's like, yeah, it's basically we might as well
just all hand each other money, and like it's really
what we're doing. Like if I get, you know, some
gift cards for you and you for me, we're just
exchanging money. So I thought, what do you think of this?

We all have whatever we want, right, We're good there's
nothing we need. We're not like a hope els and
buys it for me. What if we have fun with it?
What if we were just each to settle limit ready
for fifty bucks and the gifts have to be purchased
a dollar Tree.

I love it. Stretch'd be really fun.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
They gotta be wrapped.

I feel weird about it. You do, no, but not
like I.

Just feel like I feel like I wouldn't be It's

want to do, and I'm totally on board, but it's
making me feel like I'm phoning it in even though we.

Just agreed on it. But it's fun. But it's my

why you go to the store like and go overboard?

There's nothing any of us need. I'm not counting on
gift cards from you two to make it like like
we do we get we buy gifts because we have
fun with it. Right, So if we each spend a
day a dollar Tree and I'm like, I'm spending fifty
on Alis and fifty on Chelsea, I'm going to try
to find things that match their personality, that are funny,
and I want to get as many gifts as I
can that aren't cheap but like cool. Okay, and then

you each did it, we all did it, like it
would be fun to see what we came up with.
And I think a lot of people are on.

A budget right now.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
A lot of people all, yeah, every way, everything's so
expensive right now.

That doesn't mean like then you're throwing gift cards at
the end, that's what we do.

We're doing it for the fun. Now.

I do want to ask, can we can we go
to like CVS and Dollar Tree or like care.

I just thought that it was a level playing field
if we were all the same.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
But I love it.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I love CBS is made for TV, like the what
you see on TV your aisle don't whatever. Yeah, but
if it's a fifty dollars limit, I just think that
you're gonna wind up. No, But I just think if
you leave Dollar Tree and you go to CVS, you're
gonna you're right, you faster, But you can I guess

you can do whatever you want.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Okay, I'm just assuming. Do you think fifty I think
it's I think it's it's also a challenge.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
It's a challenge, challenge like it a great Christmas challenge,
It's right, Yeah, okay, I'm already trying. I'm looking in
my dollar tree right now. I've never been in my
dollar so double fun for me.

I'm very excited now then because I've never gone in there.

Wow, all right, I like this idea. I think it's
I think it would be fun. And you're right, everyone
is on a budget this year. You know.

Also Dylan from the show you Know who's on the
show for a couple of years with us and then
he moved to be the executive producer of the Night show.
Dylan would like to come back on the show for
our Christmas Exchange day.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Well, you like to make an appearance? Okay, but do
we have to get him fifty dollars or again, these
are all my weird things. I'm like, we now we
need to make sure Dylan is you know.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
How you buy gifts to just stick under your tree
and get someone randomly comes by.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
We have to get Dylan does that? To get Dylan
Honik guests right, Yeah, I mean so.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You have to get him to go over by the
time Christmas rolls around. I don't think so. No, I
think you observe it no matter when starts.

On Monday fifteen. I didn't know, so Hanika would have
ended right.

I'm not gett Dylan eight gifts, Okay, I just didn't
know what he's angling for.

Think you enjoyed being on our show, wants to come back,
And I think the last thing we said to him
when he on his last day was you'll come back
for the holiday show. Perfect.

A good producer never forgets.

I'm interested in getting a update from Dylan, and he's
willing to get up early for us after.

He gets It's all great, like the theme song, all
of my things are just my own weirdness.

Yeah, I even have it.

Him Dylan Dylan Like, I'm literally going to stop myself
from like still trying to slide gift.

Cards in there. Don't. I'm not going to do that.
