Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well, rumor has it.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Allison's mode of transportation which has brought us so much
joy and laughter over the last two years.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Well, I would say from the second it came to
live at my house, even long before it got hit,
it for a while longer than.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
Years, five years.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
It's been a long painful journey the Ford Flex, Ford Flex,
the Ford Flex.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Is no more.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
When you say no more, was there another accident or
did it just finally die?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
No?

Speaker 3 (00:32):
But really quick, before I tell you about it, I
have to tell you for as horrible it was to
look at that car and how no one could understand
how I could be seen driving in it, there is
a power that you get from driving a car that
badly damaged, where when you see other people driving crazy,
you're like, what are you gonna do?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Who do you think is gonna fare in that one?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
Me and you?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Let's do this. I don't have that anymore? Right? Was
the one thing I got for.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
It?

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Did? I was like, let's do this. I mean that
car was a tank. Nothing it would take it down,
Nothing could take it down. Hit it, car haul or
crazy lady whate deer. That is such an endorsement for Ford.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
They don't but that. I mean, I should donate it
to the military.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Maybe they'll bring it back. Maybe maybe they will.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Science.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
So I've known it was on It's like, I mean, yeah,
it's been honest last like for a couple of years now.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
But I knew like any time, So I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
A few months ago I started, I knew I had
to get a new car. Like it was just I
think when the air went out, that was the final, like,
you know.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
So I.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Drill when I was really inconvenienced by air that's when
I knew. So so I my mindset was like I'm
just going to drive it into the ground and if
Jill's lucky, because I mean, and like September was when
I was going to get a new car, and I
was like, in Jill's lucky, She'll get a couple months
out of it, yeah, because I'd give it to her
while she saved for her own car.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So I'm drying it actually, you know.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
For as much as the universe likes to bat me
around like a cat toy, sometimes it gives with both hands.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
So I was out and about all day Sunday.

Speaker 3 (02:21):
I was all over the place, and it could have
happened anywhere it literally happened in my apartment.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Complex, like, oh thank god. I don't know a quarter
of a mile.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Like I just pulled into my development and I was
going through the apartment complex next to mine. So they
have a pool, and I don't know why their pool
is always busy.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
There's all sunbathers around their pool. I don't know why.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I know that's never at our pool. But I'm not
complaining because I get it to myself. But anyway, so
of course the pool's like all full of people and
here I come through the stop side and it's like.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Clunk clump, clum clumb bum. Wow, it just ended. Everyone
at the pool.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
Went whoa or even in the spot.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
No, I was just still on the road trying to
get to your place. I know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
She's back in the complex I'm heading. Did she actually
make it to her car?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
No, I mean I would so I recognize. You know
it's done, but I don't. I still want to know how,
Like what happens. So I get out of the car
because it sounds like something dropped. Nothing dropped, tires, firm,
engine solid, I mean the engine's purring, like seriously, so

(03:28):
all the things like I'm like, did the muffler fall off?
What the brakes are working? I was like, I cannot
figure this out. I call war and he doesn't answer.
He's like, he says he missed my call or whatever
I do. I clunk it all the way. I mean,
I'm close to my buildings, so we're not gonna call
a tow truck for that. No. If I'm guessing, I

(03:50):
think it's the steering rack, which has been going for
a couple of years.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Or you know so much about cars, so much more
than I. I shouldn't know so much about cars.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Warren took went and drove it because he doesn't ever
believe anything I say. He's like, well, you might be
blowing this out of proportion.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I'm like, it doesn't matter. Drive it. Yeah, So he did.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
He drove it around the cul de Sac and he's
like it started out good and he's like, then it
went really bad, and he goes, it could be the
transmission and I said.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
We're not getting a new one of those.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Well no, but we weren't going to get a new
one of any not a button that fell off, Like
there was no more money going into that car. So
I pulled it into the parking spot. He drove it,
he pulled, he pulled it back in the parking spot.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I let Jill know. I was like, flex is done.
I said, we're a cape around it. I should I
should put cones around it. Yeah, I cover it in
the sheet.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, actually flowers on the hood, a full funeral.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Oh my gosh, so much you can do. Oh my gosh,
I'm gonna do all of that. Jill's like, what what
are you going to do?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
And I'm like, well, I'm gonna maybe get a new
car this week. Worst case scenario. If I don't get
it done this week, I'll get a rental.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I'm like, you might want to start thinking about what
you're going to do, right, Jill. No, So we're going
to go.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So Warn and I are carpooling this week, which is
really good times because what we want to do is
wake up at the same time, drive to work together,
drive home together, and then be home all day together. Great,
that's what we're I literally slept fifteen minutes later because
I have to get up when he does now, but
I was like, I'm I'll sleep till three fifteen so

(05:27):
that I'm at least not.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
In your space. Yeah, I can get his stuff ready.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
But so I'm in his car, he's got air.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah, I'm all good. He's getting curbside service.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
It's great. It's still no, he doesn't love it.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
It's great. All this together in time this week, it'll
be good. It'll be good for the two of you anyway.
All right, we'll keep us on the date. Listen to
it every morning, give us up the date on where
things go next. We're dying. What comes into your life.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
That chuck out? Yeah, I like that.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
You are some real comedy opportunities. Don't forget to shoot
a vertical and what?

Speaker 1 (05:57):
All right,
