Things To Look Forward To In June

These are the movies, shows and holidays to look forward to this month!

A couple things to look forward to in the month

(00:01):
of June, as yes, Sunday will be June First, here's
a couple of things. Stanley Cup Finals. Well, we don't
really care tooim I guess if you're a hockey fan
you do. But with the wings out man. Obviously big movies.
We knew about some of these already because we were
at CinemaCon in Vegas back in April, the John Wick
spin off Ballerina, which everybody went wild about.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
It looked good.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
It does look good. I haven't seen one John Wick movie.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Yeah, I think, didn't we you're missing out?

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Didn't we decide we'd have to start it too, because
we can't see a dog get killed? Well, I think
you have to start it. I know you should start
at one, but start at one. I mean, knowing that
that's going to happen is going to keep me from
ever seeing that movie.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Close your eyes. How the old man starts right? They
kill his dog and maybe his whole family.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
God, I'm How to Train Your Dragon the live action
version and Brad Pitt's f One, which we watched I
think the first ten minutes of that.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I'm excited to see that one too.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
It's so funny because the concept, Like when they were
talking about it, I was like, I don't know how
you got Brad Pitt to be in this movie, but
what a news fest?

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah right, And then.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
They showed the trailer and you're like, I'm totally gonna
see that.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Oh and twenty eight years Later is coming back on
June twenty ninth. And that Megan movie, remember Megan the Rule.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
I did not care about that one.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
On television, Duck Dynasty the Revival premieres on any the Sunday.
Phil Robertson just died last weekend?

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Is that The Patriarch The Patriarch.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Yes, Love Island returns to Peacock season two of America's
Sweethearts the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
These are things to look forward to in June.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
It's not a lot going on.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
What are you just telling Chelsea what she might like
in June? Love Island has too many episodes. And that's
coming from someone who is willing to watch just about anything.
It's like, I don't know, I think they're on like
five days a week or six days?

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Oh my, yeah, it's a lie.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
How about the third and final season of Squid Game
finally premieeres on Netflix June twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
Told you this last season has been fantastically in two pieces.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I didn't watch season two of squid Games. Yeah, is
that old guy? Did he die at the.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
End of the month. He did?

Speaker 1 (02:09):
And then award shows. The Tony Awards are on June eighth,
The BT Awards are June ninth. Nickelodeon's Kid Choice Awards
that's June twenty first, and then your holidays. Father's Day
coming up on the fifteenth, got June teenth. On the nineteenth,
it's Pride month and it's the first official day of summer.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
On the twentieth, you're.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Gonna get a tie on Father's Day, I will see
I hope.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
So I usually get a tie from my daughter and
it's this is perfect for us. On June eighth, we
should be celebrating with breakfast. It'll be National Best Friends
Day all night.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
And don't forget June fifth or Cereal Drive Oh well, yeah, Thursday,
June fifth.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, don't forget tomorrow May thirty first, which is not June,
but tomorrow we'll be in Southgate.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Come by and see us after nine o'clock. Will be at.

Kroger there collecting cereal. It's gonna be fun to be
downriver too,
