Is it beautiful music?

Speaker 6 (01:54):
Uh? No, it is actually the entrance music Tosa at
night at the Magic Kingdom Think with that album. Yeah,
have you heard We're going on a trip to Disney
World with Chase Juniors on December three?

Speaker 7 (02:10):
Oh my gosh, it is.

Speaker 6 (02:13):
Pretty excited.

Speaker 7 (02:14):
She's gonna say, we are going.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
We are going coming up on the show today. We
have crazy lines. We'll tell you a little something about
ourselves that make us a little crazy. Not right in
the head. Wait until you're one, lady did at ninety
seven years old. I'm feeling good and the Dane did it. Well,
there's a couple interesting turbulent stories in the news today,
and might.

Speaker 8 (02:36):
Talk about it right before we fly because I'll take
a third one. Well ya, yeah, if you remember what.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
That was like last time, Well, I reckon, I don't
want you to do that.

Speaker 8 (02:46):
Oh that's why it was a threat for us, but
also the children.

Speaker 9 (02:52):
Well and for the children. But you're gonna want to
save that for a later date.

Speaker 7 (02:56):
Yeah, you're right.

Speaker 8 (02:57):
I do want to say, I'm just waste in these
I want to save it a time when I don't
need it.

Speaker 6 (03:01):
Right, Yeah, nice little afternoon nap into the two days later.
What else we have today? Oh, we got a couple
of things the Jay's juniors.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Today.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
I went back. I remember Lindsay. Lindsay's story she had,
you know, she has Jacob and she's dealing with all
of that, and then her husband got sick and you know,
her mom was helping her out and it's a really
very touching, uh Jay junior story that you're going to
hear today after seven Yeah.

Speaker 8 (03:31):
Yeah, it was like just when you know her plate
was full, then her husband m It was a lot
kind of like Gideon's story and right right.

Speaker 6 (03:40):
If you go to you know, Facebook, Twitter, X, Instagram, whatever,
you'll see our Jay Juniors Welcome Party. Put the video
up last night and really fun to relive some of
that and see some of the families that are heading
out with us. So check that out as well. We've
got lots to give you today too, at Santa Sleigh.
Two shots at Santa Sleigh, this morning at jingle Ball tickets,

(04:02):
got Mowana screening tickets for the sequel there and so
much more. So here we go. Let's get this Thursday
in Detroit, roll on with one hundred point three wn
I say, Jay Towers in the morning on demand. Here's
the Hollywood Minute with Chelsea.

Speaker 9 (04:18):
Jenniferaniston's haircare brand, Lola v is launching its Puppy Love
Dog Shampoo, the brand's first product for pets. Jen says
she's been working on this project for quite a long
time and one hundred percent of the profit from those
sales are going to go directly to Jen's charitable fund
that supports animal rescue and rehabilitation.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
That's awesome. That's like Paul Newman's thing.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
Mm hmm, And I think doesn't Rachel Ray with her
Nutrish doesn't a lot of that when you buy that,
doesn't a lot of that money go back?

Speaker 10 (04:48):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (04:48):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
Yeah, anyway, it's good. It's that's a good when that happens.

Speaker 9 (04:51):
So this weekend is going to be like a Barbenheimer
part two. Wicked is coming out, and so it was
Gladiator too. So this weekend they're calling it Glicked. Wicked
is expected to make around one hundred and ten million dollars.
Gladiator to projected to earn about sixty five What about
the Gladiator?

Speaker 6 (05:13):
Yeah, where's that going to be?

Speaker 9 (05:14):
Well, by the way, that's also a good nickname.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
We are. I closed the book on the Jay Towers
in the morning imagined trailer, handed it off and said
it's ready. This theater is keen. Wow, we'll see. Trailer
is good. Trailer is good.

Speaker 7 (05:34):
Awesome my personal opinion.

Speaker 8 (05:37):
But Gladiator original the Gladiator, yes, lawless, it was an
amazing movie when we saw the extended trailer CinemaCon.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
Yeah, I didn't get nade.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
People are saying this one's great. It's gotten huge reviews.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
I'm probably not the audience. So Lady g I got
Green Day.

Speaker 9 (05:55):
Post Malone and Travis Scott are going to be headlighting
Coachella in April. Travis is also designing the festival. Pre
sale passes go on sale tomorrow with braces starting at
five hundred and ninety nine dollars.

Speaker 8 (06:08):
That's insane, that is nuts speakin to post malone. Warren
tortured me last night with uh because he always has
to watch the Country Music Award.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Oh that was on last night.

Speaker 7 (06:19):
Yeah, post malone was all over it.

Speaker 9 (06:22):
Liam Payne was laid to rest yesterday. All four of
his One Direction bandmates were there, along with Simon Cowell,
James Corden, his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, and his ex Cheryl
Cole was also there.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
She's the one who has the son sad.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
You know.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
It's you know when anytime you have somebody pass away,
I understand whether it's family or best friend. I just
I wonder what it's like for those bandmates, because they
traveled the world together four years, you know, dressing rooms
and hotels and concerts, and they've been through it all.
To lose one, it's gotta be the worst, most empty feeling.

Speaker 8 (06:56):
And when they all started together, they were little nobody
right right.

Speaker 9 (07:00):
What made me said yesterday was my entire TikTok algorithm
was just video after video of all of those guys
walking around for the funeral, and I'm like, does this
need to be a circus that's like shared all over
social media?

Speaker 7 (07:15):
It just doesn't seem like it's necessary.

Speaker 9 (07:18):
And finally, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have reportedly
moved to England to escape incoming President Donald Trump.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
They already have a home near London.

Speaker 9 (07:27):
And are selling their California estate, so I think they
already had the home in London and then kind of
saw what was going to be projected and they said,
we're out of here.

Speaker 7 (07:37):
Do we need to be concerned? It sounds like they're
fleeing the country.

Speaker 9 (07:42):
Yeah, yeah, I mean I think a lot of people people.

Speaker 6 (07:45):
I told you fleeing the country is expensive.

Speaker 7 (07:47):
I told you how to live in Bulgaria last week.

Speaker 9 (07:51):
TV Today, we have the mid season Binali of nine
to one one and Grey's Anatomy.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
Good Morning from one hundred point three WNIC, Detroit's Christmas station,
you know it coming up. Some Fox News headlines today. Also,
we have crazy lines. We go around the room and
tell you something about ourselves that make us a little
not right this time of the year. So on Thursdays

(08:20):
on this show, we do something called crazy lines. We
go around the room and tell you something that makes
us a little crazy or not right in the head.
And it's fun to learn more about each other. And
we always welcome you to share crazy things about you,
not really crazy, just.

Speaker 7 (08:33):
Odd things that make us not.

Speaker 6 (08:36):
Right, odd and different. I'll start, I don't know when
this new trend started, but lately I've been putting many
marshmallows in my coffee at home, and now I'm doing
it like three times a day at home, coffee with
many marshmallows.

Speaker 8 (08:56):
Yeah, that's weird, I mean in your coffee.

Speaker 7 (08:59):
I mean that's that's a hot cocoa thing for sure.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
Yeah, but you like anything that makes you feel like
you're seven again. So this actually doesn't surprise me at
all that you do this.

Speaker 7 (09:09):
What did you run out of sweetener one day?

Speaker 8 (09:12):
Like, for instance, when Warren runs out of milk and
we're not paying attention, he'll put like a scoop of
ice cream in his coffee, but he doesn't.

Speaker 7 (09:20):
Yeah, but he just does it because he needs some
form of cream.

Speaker 6 (09:23):
Yeah. No, I have a whole system. I take I
take the cup, I put the marshmallows in first. Then
I pour cream over the marshmallows. Then I put it
under the cureic button and hit the button, and I
let it drizzle over the marshmallows to incorporate more flavor.
It's fantastic. I literally can't get enough.

Speaker 7 (09:39):
Oh and now you're now, you're really.

Speaker 6 (09:41):
I'll make you on tomorrow. I'll bring some marshalls tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (09:46):
Let's let's follow me into the shower, all right, and
watch how I shower. So when I when it's a
hair washing day, So I don't I think this is normal.
I think everybody h goes in an order of how
they clean themselves in the shower. If I'm washing my hair,
obviously it's the first thing I'll do.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
That's the first thing I'll do, is.

Speaker 8 (10:09):
Wash my hair, because then the conditioner is gonna sit
on my head while I do everything else. I wash
my hands with the bar of soap. Yeah, before I
put the shampoo in my hands to wash my hair.

Speaker 9 (10:22):
You are so weird, I know, because the shampoo is
going to clean my.

Speaker 8 (10:28):
Hands, right, But I am so like a weird hand
washer now that I can't stop, even.

Speaker 7 (10:33):
In the shower washing my hair.

Speaker 9 (10:35):
The only time I would ever think that that's acceptable
is like I've gone to the bathroom before going into
the shower, and instead of washing my hands at the sink,
I'll wash my hands in the shower.

Speaker 7 (10:47):
Yeah no, I that every time I normal wash my hands,
and then yeah, I'm sorry this, Chelsea, it's super weird. Okay.

Speaker 9 (10:55):
So I have become reliant on other people to feed me.
My mom is retired now and she's constantly cooking. My
friends enjoy cooking, and I can't tell you the last
time that I went to the grocery store and actually
bought things to make a meal because I'm just hoping
that someone is.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
Going to drop something off to me at some point.
You're like one of my cats.

Speaker 9 (11:18):
Honestly, I'm so pathetic.

Speaker 8 (11:22):
I don't know if you can find someone to make
food for you.

Speaker 7 (11:25):
But it's not consistent.

Speaker 9 (11:27):
So sometimes I'm just starving and I'm like, well, I
guess I'm eating a bag of chips for dinner, And.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
How about you go to the store and then, like
my cats, you sit by the door and hope someone's
gonna walk in, and you.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
Basically have skipped thirty years ahead to meals on wheels
I my god, Oh my god. Wow.

Speaker 8 (11:45):
Maybe we should take turns each week, providing her with
a castle roll.

Speaker 7 (11:48):
Oh my god, I would really appreciate that.

Speaker 8 (11:51):
I'm starting over here Homemad Jada Jada's homemade fetichini last night,
I'm in.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
I'll bring leftovers tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (12:00):
Put in a nice container and put the meals on
wheels sticker on it, please, so it looks authentic, whetherwise
today rain snow mix continues or getting up to thirty nine.
Saw some flakes this morning. Took a little picture of that.

Speaker 9 (12:12):
I was really surprised when I woke up and was
letting my dog out this morning that there was quite
a bit of snow.

Speaker 8 (12:20):
I was happy that it wasn't because my sister texted
me right before I left.

Speaker 7 (12:23):
She was giving me news up. She was giving me
weather reports all through the night, right no snow, no rain,
no snow, no rain.

Speaker 8 (12:29):
And then literally five minutes before I walk out the door,
she goes snow start to come down. So I didn't
know what I was going to see when I walked out,
but it really was turned into rain.

Speaker 7 (12:39):
By the time it hit mind. Huh, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (12:41):
It's just I having gett up really early and going
down to the basement when I wake up in the
morning to work on some of our jays, Junior's calls,
and then coming to work. And this morning, I said,
I'm just gonna I'm going to leave early because I
didn't know. I didn't know if I was going to
get bad or not.

Speaker 7 (12:57):
I was surprised to see you here as early as
you were.

Speaker 6 (12:59):
Yeah, well, that's what we do here. We get the
job done, Chelse, all hours of the day.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
With all the hurdles thrown at us, all.

Speaker 6 (13:06):
The hurdles, we get it done here. A couple Fox
News headlines say Ford is laying off four thousand workers
in Europe, about fourteen thousand of its workforce there, citing
Week eighteen. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you're right fourteen percent.
You're right of the workforce there, citing Week ev demand
and economic challenges. Most cuts will happen in Germany. Meanwhile,

(13:27):
four hundred Michigan workers will be relocated as Ford reduces
Bronco production and wayne. So we'll keep an eye on that.

Speaker 12 (13:34):
Well.

Speaker 7 (13:34):
I guess relocation is always better than.

Speaker 6 (13:38):
Yeah than notledge job right. Tigers pitcher Trek Scuble was
unanimously named the American League Psy Young Award winner. On
his twenty eighth birthday, Schooble celebrated with family after leading
the league in winds era and strikeouts. He reflected on
the team's playoff run and its potential impact moving forward.

(14:00):

After the movie Free Willye became a hit, word got
out that the star of the film, a killer whal
named Keiko, was sick and still living in a tiny
pool in a Mexican amusement park. Fans were outraged, kids
demanded his release. I'm Danielle Dragon from Serial Productions. In
the New York Times comes the Goodwill, a story about
the wildly ambitious science experiment to return Keiko to the ocean.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
Scandinavian Airlines flight to Miami hit severe turbulence over Greenland,
forcing a diversion to Denmark for safety checks. Fortunately, no
serious injuries were reported among the two hundred and fifty
four passengers. But I'll tell you this, the videos on
TikTok and Instagram right now of the turbulence people recorded
from the cabin not so great.

Speaker 7 (17:31):
Yeah, I don't it's not great to talk about these
things now.

Speaker 9 (17:36):
Heay, you don't want to see people hitting their head
ye overhead bins?

Speaker 7 (17:40):
Well, well, when was it?

Speaker 8 (17:41):
Was it when we were coming back from cinemacn No,
because Cody was with us and she didn't go to
some Oh it was on the way back from Florida,
I believe, Okay, I think we went Universal.

Speaker 7 (17:50):
Maybe it was our Universal trip.

Speaker 8 (17:52):
Yeah, yeah, and we hit some bad turbulence and they
had to put the drink carts away. And it's funny
everyone's getting used to in moments like that. Everyone turned
and still look at me, like just making sure I'm
keeping it together, rubbing her leg. Yeah, And Cody turns
back around and she goes, just look at look at
their faces and if they look fine, you know.

Speaker 7 (18:10):
Yeah, And then five minutes later someone threw up.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
Can I say this though, Yeah, For as much as
Alison complains I'm afraid of turbulence, I'm not afraid to
say it. I don't like it. It freaks me out. But
as much as Alison complains about it, I cannot tell
you how many times we've had violent turbulence and you
are sleeping through it.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
That is true to an extreme.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
Actually, Warren for as bad as bad as a bad
whatever I'm trying to say, for as bad of a
flyer as I am. Yeah, Warren has sworn he will
never get on a plane again, which that remains to
be seen.

Speaker 7 (18:51):
He may not have a choice.

Speaker 8 (18:53):
But anyway, we were coming back from Lax and apparently
the turbulence this is what him off of planes forever. Okay,
the turbulence that we hit coming back from la back
to Michigan. I was asleep the entire time. He literally
thought we were gonna die. I said, why didn't you
wake me up? He said, I'm not going to wake

(19:14):
you up to die. And I said, well, first of all,
of course you do.

Speaker 6 (19:18):
I want to have a couple of folts together.

Speaker 8 (19:19):
If the plane's going down, we should say goodbye to
each other.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
So never do that again.

Speaker 8 (19:25):
But honestly, to this day, and that happened fifteen years ago.

Speaker 9 (19:29):
You know, I'm wondering if he's just being dramatic, because
it's not like that.

Speaker 8 (19:33):
I would be but about stuff like that, he normally
is not. And I wonder what, like, what was that
turbulence like?

Speaker 6 (19:42):
But there have been times, even coming back from some
of our trips that we've done in the last couple
of years, where I'm I am holding on like this, yeah,
and I'm staring over at Chelsea and I'm giving her
that this is not right, right, this isn't right. And
then I look over at Allison and she kind of
like flows with the turbulence.

Speaker 9 (20:00):
She's like, yeah, that's because she's heavily medicated.

Speaker 7 (20:03):
Heavily medicated.

Speaker 6 (20:04):
You're not still you few almost almost like almost like
you're I'm rocking into You've become one with it. I'm like,
why is this woman always medicated and complaining? And she
sleeps through all the scary.

Speaker 7 (20:18):
Parts, right, I recommend it for everyone.

Speaker 6 (20:21):
Oh was there something?

Speaker 3 (20:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (20:22):
I thought I felt a jiggle? Yeah, you felt a
jigglegig fault.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
I wish we had that music.

Speaker 6 (20:29):
You just tell me you guys, Feeling good in the
d is brought to you this morning by Covert. So
what happened? Uh to make everybody feel good with this story?

Speaker 13 (20:43):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (20:43):
I'll tell you, and it's a nice one. A ninety
seven year old former cheerleader in Central Michigan got to
relive her glory days. Her name is.

Speaker 9 (20:56):
Hmmm, Gladys no ii Legy Dooring.

Speaker 6 (21:01):
Isla Jean. It's an l lag or is that an eye? Now?

Speaker 7 (21:05):
I'm telling you it's Isla Jean Dooring.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
It's Isla Jean Dory Dooring. And she helped from form
Meryl High School's first cheer team eighty years ago. Here
she is with the current cheer coach because they did
a little performance there.

Speaker 7 (21:22):
She got right up there and stood right up and
it was awesome.

Speaker 14 (21:25):
Just felt bad that Meryl High School didn't have a
cheerleaders when all the other schools had them, so we
decided to do something about it.

Speaker 15 (21:33):
When we walked in the door, she was already cheering
before we even could even start cheering.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
She was ready to go, come on, ting fuck content fuck.

Speaker 15 (21:41):
When I left, she said, without me, you wouldn't have
Meryl cheer. And I just thought on that and I
was just so grateful for her because I know what
it probably took her and her girls they built this program.

Speaker 6 (21:53):
There you go, she's a trailblazer absolutely without her no cheerleader.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
And still knows all the all the cheers.

Speaker 8 (22:00):
Yeah, maybe she'll be on a what what city was
she from her machine?

Speaker 7 (22:05):
Maybe don't put her on a stamp. It's just high school.

Speaker 6 (22:08):
Joined by Fox two's Alan long Street. Good morning to you,
mister long Morning. I don't know if you've noticed, but
the lighting guys were in today and Alison's lighting is
now perfect.

Speaker 7 (22:22):
At me, what a vision?

Speaker 16 (22:24):
You do?

Speaker 7 (22:25):
Look good?

Speaker 6 (22:26):
How about that?

Speaker 7 (22:28):
Look at me for a while.

Speaker 6 (22:29):
Frame that you know who got your lighting right? Dinas
and a Fani really Nina. She came in one day
after you left and she was assessing this issues. I
still don't like the glare on Allison. And she came
in and she said, what we need is fabrica over
this light. She tore off her dress and then Tommy
and Bobby came in and yeah they there you go.

Speaker 7 (22:49):
Wow, thank you Tina.

Speaker 9 (22:51):
And as she was doing that, I literally, I don't
know if I've ever looked worse in my entire life
than when she came in, and I'm like, Jay, really
got to bring people in here. The day that I
look like this?

Speaker 7 (23:02):
Like, how am I supposed to know?

Speaker 9 (23:04):
Was that yesterday was no two years ago?

Speaker 6 (23:13):
Always a beauty to Alison, it's not about you. It's
all about you, Alan. What do you do when your
kids field? I picked a work.

Speaker 17 (23:26):
Yeah, I signed up to do an outdoor and out
an outdoor field trip all day long, all day with
that with the big kid. It'll be fine, it'll be great.
But what a terrible what what a terrible day to
do that?

Speaker 6 (23:35):
Did you know.

Speaker 7 (23:36):
What the weather was going to be like today?

Speaker 17 (23:38):
I know, but I don't put it into practice, Like
I don't think you know someone. It's so easy to
agree to things weeks.

Speaker 6 (23:44):
Ahead, right.

Speaker 7 (23:44):
Is it like a farm situation center?

Speaker 11 (23:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (23:48):
Yeah, basically the maples here a bout of trees, I hope.

Speaker 7 (23:52):
So yeah, good, Yeah, it's really nice. You're going.

Speaker 17 (23:55):
Yeah, well, as long as I can, you know, keep
my patience and my joy.

Speaker 6 (23:59):
You'll be fine. You'll be fine.

Speaker 9 (24:00):
I don't know if I've ever seen you lose your
patients ever. Yeah, I don't know if that's possible. There's
a couple moments it's happened on occasion.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
So then how do we look weatherwise? Cold? It's gonna
be very cold.

Speaker 7 (24:11):
Is the snow gonna wrap up?

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (24:13):
Well, I mean there are gonna be there're coulna be
flakes this afternoon, but it doesn't amount to anything, right,
Maybe a little bit on your car, maybe on the grass,
but you know, I'm little to no ki issue.

Speaker 7 (24:20):
Well, school back into ten school, school back into.

Speaker 2 (24:24):
Ten on it.

Speaker 6 (24:27):
Hope we're gonna do right. Here is go back film
Back in the Day is brought to you by Planet Fitness.
So what happened on this day? Eighty two years ago?
In nineteen forty two, Tweetybird debuted in the Warner Brothers
cartoon A Tale of Two Kittens.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
Tweety Bird, that's from I thought.

Speaker 6 (24:47):
I thought.

Speaker 7 (24:47):
I saw putting that who came first? Tweety Bird or Sylvester.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
I think Sylvester, That's what I thought. I think. So, yeah,
it could be forty nine years ago nineteen seventy five,
Queen released their fourth album, A Night at the Opera
featuring Bohemian Rhapsody and You're My Best Friend. If you
saw the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, you know that the record
executives wanted You're My Best Friend to be the first single.

Speaker 9 (25:14):
They fought it and said, now, yeah, that scene was
really it was a big moment in the movie because
they were sitting in this guy's office and they're like,
it's going to be Bohemian Rhapsody and he's like, it's not.

Speaker 7 (25:26):
Going to though.

Speaker 8 (25:27):
You know what's funny, It's a common theme throughout music history,
going back to the beginning of music.

Speaker 7 (25:34):
Record execs typically.

Speaker 9 (25:37):
Know nothing right, let the musician, like, honestly, though, pick
the song.

Speaker 8 (25:42):
Every artist band has the story where the record exec
was completely clueless. Yeah, the artists fought for what they wanted,
got it and it was the right call, right.

Speaker 6 (25:52):
But I also wonder do we hear? Are those the
stories that make the headlines and the times that the
artist was like, I want this terrible song and they're like, no,
you don't understand. This one's better, But we'll never hear
You'll never hear the artist be well.

Speaker 9 (26:07):
I heard of Nelly Potograph for Tato interview last week
and she said that when she wrote I'm Like a Bird,
she wrote three songs that day and she thought the
second one that she did was going to be the winner.

Speaker 7 (26:20):
Loved it.

Speaker 9 (26:21):
I'm Like a Bird came third, and when she's saying
them to her management team, they're like, yes, definitely, I'm
Like a Bird is going to be your biggest hit,
and she's like, are you sure about that?

Speaker 7 (26:30):
And funny enough, it was, well, there's your.

Speaker 6 (26:32):
Story there, it is there, it is all right. Forty
eight years ago, in nineteen seventy six, the first Rocky
movie opened in theaters.

Speaker 17 (26:42):
No one's getting the luck.

Speaker 7 (26:44):
Guy comes up with a fight, big too, want to fight?

Speaker 16 (26:46):
To fight?

Speaker 7 (26:47):
Yeah, I'll fight the big fight.

Speaker 6 (26:48):
Ah. So good, so good.

Speaker 7 (26:50):
It's such a good you'll never watch it, right, Sure,
I watch it. I watch Rocky.

Speaker 6 (26:55):
So good. I mean we should do so let's just
spring let's do a Rocky thought that.

Speaker 7 (26:58):
Would be great because it's old now.

Speaker 8 (27:00):
It would be like watching an old movie.

Speaker 6 (30:14):
All right, Well, you can't really see Rocky one without
seeing Rocky Tope. Yeah, all right, how about this? Uh
forty three years ago in nineteen eighty one, Olivia Newton
John had the number one song Let's Get Physical. She
was all in a workout outfit there in the gym.

Speaker 8 (30:30):
Yeah them out trying to trick us about the meaning
of the song.

Speaker 7 (30:34):
You fella, Olivia.

Speaker 6 (30:36):
We do what she were doing thirty two years ago.
In nineteen ninety two, Adam Sandler performed the Thanksgiving song
on Weekend Update on Saturday Night Live. Hard to believe
that has been up thirty two years ago. Unbelievable. And
in twenty thirteen, Pharrell Makes the World Happy, releasing God
Happy If.

Speaker 16 (30:57):

Speaker 8 (31:00):
A little FYI Forrell's best song is with his band
N E. R D. And it's called Black Dance. Oh
just a little fun fact for you if you want
to look that up.

I like that. You knew that? Yeah, I'm good with that.

The Tammy Faye Broadway Musical is calling it quits just
weeks after it started.

Speaker 7 (31:26):
It never should have happened. The show featured.

Speaker 9 (31:28):
Music by Elton John, but it did not.

Speaker 7 (31:32):
Get good reviews. It struggled to find an audience.

Speaker 9 (31:35):
Came out November fourteenth, going to be calling it quits
on December eighth.

Speaker 7 (31:40):
Not everything's a Broadway musical, I know, but.

Speaker 9 (31:43):
Usually I feel like Elton has like a good grasp
on what's going to be a hit.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
I think you're right too, but that's just weird.

Speaker 9 (31:49):
Yeah, Way Night from Seinfeld has lost over one hundred
pounds and it's affecting his work. He said, it takes
people time for them to accept you as you are,
and then they find out whether or not you can
still do things without being fat. But I think we've
run into this a million times. Melissa McCarthy.

Speaker 8 (32:09):
Yeah, some funny people that Wilson not necessarily like your
standard you know, musician or actor, but like funny people
typically like can you still be funny if you're not fat?

Speaker 7 (32:21):
But I will say Adele, people were wondering.

Speaker 9 (32:23):
Does she still have the chops that you know when
she was bigger and versus how she is now, and
it's like, yeah, she's still the same person, just a
little thinner.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
I'm working on getting the old me back. That's how
I'm putting marshmallows and everything.

Speaker 9 (32:38):
Are you buttering your pop tarts too and eating those
four times a day?

Speaker 7 (32:42):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (32:43):
Richard Gear accidentally flipped off Savannah Guthrie during a live
Today Show segment yesterday while re enacting a scene from
his new show The Agency. She quickly covered his hand
with papers and jokingly scolded him.

Speaker 12 (32:57):
All right, oh sorry, but that's what I did in
the in the piece.

Speaker 7 (33:02):
You just didn't have seen gesture on this Family Morning show.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
Please, No, I'm bleeping you.

Speaker 18 (33:09):
You know, Share was on here doing an f bom yesterday, so.

Speaker 7 (33:12):
I don't know what's happened.

Speaker 6 (33:13):
No, no, no, no.

Speaker 8 (33:14):
Total Hoda told her she could first of all, and
Share can do whatever she wants, and secondly, stop protecting
us from flipping birds and f words.

Speaker 6 (33:24):
Yeah, it's kind of funny that it's kind of funny
they still have to blur.

Speaker 7 (33:27):
That now, especially the bird.

Speaker 6 (33:29):
You can verbally say things that far more terrible than
seeing a middle finger.

Speaker 9 (33:35):
I know, I'm And finally, Miley Cyrus has defended Chapel Roane.
You know, she's kind of been going through it with
not handling fame the best and kind of going after
fans for it.

Speaker 8 (33:47):
Warren and I had this argument over the weekend too
because of that, right, yeah, because she's struggling and it's like,
so when you went and put your videos up on
YouTube so everyone could see them. What was the Because
we do we do social media for the show, for
ourselves and for a purpose. We want you to like

(34:08):
it and maybe get more fans. That's the reason you
do it. There's not an and warns like maybe it's
just you need to get your art out there.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
And I'm like, you shut up right now.

Speaker 8 (34:19):
You don't put stuff up on YouTube if you don't
want to be famous.

Speaker 6 (34:22):
Everything you put up anywhere is to be noticed.

Speaker 7 (34:26):
Exactly or we kidding Miley?

Speaker 9 (34:28):
Well, Miley is saying she knows how difficult the industry
can be, especially in this social media age, and she
wished that people would not give Chapel such a hard time.

Speaker 7 (34:39):
So no, okay TV.

Speaker 9 (34:42):
Today we have the mid season finale of nine to

Also putting a picture of your abs up, saying I
wish I could get back to the way I used
to be, even though right now they look fantastic. That's
what is that? A thirst trap?

Speaker 8 (34:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (34:54):
Yeah, who's doing that?

Speaker 6 (34:55):
Just comes up from it?

Speaker 8 (34:56):
It can be quiet too, Yeah with your ads to please.

Speaker 6 (34:59):

and Chelsea still to come. I'm gonna introduce you to Lindsey,
the mom of Jacob, and tell you about why this
family is heading to Disney World for Jase Junior's with

(35:20):
us this year. It's a story you won't want to miss.
Allison's bubble is on the way next.

Speaker 7 (35:24):
Sweet potatoes and yams? What's going on there?

Speaker 6 (35:28):
That's it? That's it coming up? What do you have
in the bubble today?

Speaker 7 (35:45):
I kid you not.

Speaker 8 (35:46):
I literally just had this conversation with Warren like a
couple of days ago, because 'tis the season for both
of these things to come up a lot? Yeah, sweet
potatoes and yams? What's going on there? Are you like me?
Do you not understand? Is there a difference? Are they
the same thing?

Speaker 5 (36:01):
I thought?

Speaker 6 (36:02):
I just thought they were the same I did.

Speaker 8 (36:04):
Too, And apparently enough people think that for there to
be a clarification out today. Okay, sweet potatoes and yams
are not the same thing. They are two different species
of root vegetable with very different backgrounds and uses. Apparently,
the government, the US government perpetuated the error of labeling

(36:25):
sweet potatoes with orange flesh yams. I don't know what
that means, but anyway, there's still sweet potatoes. Something about
yams that I thought was interesting. They're actually very uncommon
here in America. They're native to Africa and Asia. They
have dark, almost black, bark like skin, and they can

(36:46):
grow up to seven feet long, and they are not sweet.
So maybe we've never even eaten a yam.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
I don't know that it's interesting. I haven't eaten a
lot of sweet potatoes lately because I really like them,
and I also like when you doo yeah with the
marshmallows on them and the butter and.

Speaker 7 (37:00):
Okay, mars. Honestly, what are you doing at your house?

Speaker 6 (37:03):
I don't know there's something with marshallows, but anyway, but
the point is I had just asked this question too
the other night. I said, I wonder if sweet potatoes
were always sweet potatoes, or did they like infuse and
make them the way they did, like honey Chris bapples
didn't exist at one time, and then they didn't they
like have some seeds up for something?

Speaker 8 (37:22):
Yeah, No, now you know, a sweet potato is a
root vegetable. They're very healthy for you, and I don't
like either. I don't I don't get the sweet potato.

Speaker 7 (37:30):
But you've never had a yam, so based off of
what we're hearing, I think you've ever had one. I
don't know that any of us have ever had a yam.
I don't think I have either.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
Okay, A couple of Fox to News headlines this morning
will start with this incredible video showing lava flowing over
snow in Iceland.

Speaker 7 (37:47):
Ooh, that'd be cool to see.

Speaker 6 (37:48):
We're a volcano erupted for the seventh time this year.
The intense heat vaporized water instantly, preventing visible steam. Wow.

Speaker 8 (37:57):
You know what isn't Iceland's the isnt Iceland the green
line place?

Speaker 7 (38:02):
And Greenland's the cold place?

Speaker 5 (38:03):
Voice?

Speaker 8 (38:04):
Do so?

Speaker 6 (38:04):
Yeah? How about this? A man on a Milwaukee to
Dallas flight tried to bum rush the cockpit, claiming he
needed to exit the plane right away. He injured a
flight tenant and was subdued by passengers using duct tape.
Authorities in Dallas arrested him. He's undergoing evaluation. The man,
a Canadian citizen, has not yet been charged, but I'm

(38:26):
not sure why.

Speaker 7 (38:27):
People are still acting a fool in the sky.

Speaker 8 (38:29):
There's been enough evidence that you will be tackled and ductate.

Speaker 7 (38:34):
That feels like a mental break type.

Speaker 8 (38:36):
Yeah, no it does. And there's no way to ever
predict when that's going to happen.

Speaker 6 (38:40):
But that's it. I mean, I think after after nine
to eleven, we have learned that now if you look
at the cockpit the wrong way, Yeah, people are standing
up on the plane and keeping an eye on it.
It's just how it is. It's going to be that way.
It's like that will never happen again, won't.

Speaker 9 (38:54):
I like that Passengers will get together though, and make
sure that it's handled right right.

Speaker 6 (39:00):
Costco's recalling it's Kirklands signature butter croissants due to possible
contamination croissants. The affected items have sailed by days between
September eighth and November tenth. Customers can return them for
a full refund. Why are there's so many call now
these recalls lately on food?

Speaker 8 (39:17):
I somebody needs to look into my invention that I
came up with the people that make food. These little
strips that you put into things the check for bacteria
before you even there's something there, like a.

Speaker 7 (39:28):
Chlorine strip for a pool, but someone look into it.

Speaker 8 (39:31):
But furthermore, speaking of Costco, just last week, I stepped
into a Costco for the very first time. What Yeah,
So I have a Costco in my area, which I
guess I sort of know. I sort of knew that,
but I forgot. It's like three miles from my house.
So I was right by it, and I was like,
I'm gonna I always hear all these things about Costco.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
So you went in?

Speaker 5 (39:54):
I did.

Speaker 7 (39:55):
I went in and determined.

heart defects me and he is just he's a happy,
happy boy. He is non verbal, but he has his
way of expressing himself to people in other ways with
hugs and smiles, and he can tell you what he
wants by pointing. You're showing you. And he just had

(45:19):
a long journey. We have the autism diagnosis as well,
and so he has both the dual diagnosis of Down
syndrome and autism, and then the diagnosis Celiacs is something
recently Celiac disease we are.

Speaker 6 (45:35):
Getting.

Speaker 16 (45:36):
We're trucking through that journey right now.

Speaker 7 (45:39):
There's like there's like ten things here. I'm looking over it.

Speaker 8 (45:42):
I'm reading each one and I'm like, jeez, could Jacob
have like one more thing to deal with?

Speaker 16 (45:47):
I know that's how we feel at times. It's it's hard,
and my husband always said, you know, we just have
to take it one day at a time, So that's
what helps get me through it. But yes, it's a
lot to take in. We have a really good support system,
like our family has been there for us day one,
so we are just really lucky. My mom's been my rock. Sorry,

(46:09):
sorry you emotional talking about it. My mom's been my
rock since day one. She came with me to all
my doctor applants when I was pregnant with Jacob because
my husband couldn't take off all that work. And then
when he was born, he had to go to the
doctors once a week so weight checks because of his
two heart defects. He wasn't gaining enough weight and they

(46:29):
were worried about failure to thrive. So my mom was
there for me, like every single doctor appointment. So I
don't know what I would do without her. But yeah,
it's been a long journey, but we try to see
positive because that's what gets us through it. We don't
want Jacob to feel that negative energy either.

Speaker 9 (46:48):
And not only has he had his health issues, but
your husband has as well.

Speaker 16 (46:53):
Right, Yes, he had a massive esteemic stroke two years
ago on our wedding anniversary.

Speaker 6 (46:59):
Oh my.

Speaker 16 (47:00):
And they didn't think it was a stroke at first.
They're like, you know what, he's only thirty eight years old.
When you think it's just vertigo, we're gonna just And
so the initial set scan did not show a stroke
because those show bleeds, and this was an a scheme
of stroke, which is a clot in the cerebellum. So
they said he needs an MRI to rule out any

(47:21):
other neurological conditions. They ruled out anything else but just
this stroke. So he had this stroke and then he
has some brain swelling. It was close to having your craniotomy.
They looked at me and said, we'll do everything they
can to save your husband's life.

Speaker 6 (47:35):
Oh my god. How has that affected him just day
to day even now like today?

Speaker 16 (47:40):
So he can't go back to work because he was
a truck He drove a semi truck and delivered locally
for a company, and he has like permanent vertigo. Anytime
he ends over to pick something up, stands up, he
gets really like how he can still function and he
can talk. It didn't affect those type of things, but
now it's his vertigo dizziness that has taken a toll

(48:04):
at his mental health definitely. Because he was a breadwinner.
He brought in all the money, like he made more
money to me. He contributed, and now he can't. So
he's so defeated. But I try to lift his spirits
as best as I can and just tell him, you know.

Speaker 6 (48:19):
We got this, Lindsey.

Speaker 8 (48:21):
Just tell him to be an influencer slash podcaster.

Speaker 16 (48:27):
That's a great idea.

Speaker 6 (48:29):
He can do it from home. That's just what you.

Speaker 16 (48:31):
Need in the house, Lindy, exactly right.

Speaker 6 (48:35):
Well, listen, boy, if through everything you've told us, I
think what you and your husband and I think what
Jacob need is I think you guys need to be
on our Jay's Junior's trip, and I think you need
to go with us this year.

Speaker 16 (48:46):
Oh my gosh, that would be all easy. You don't
even know. That would be awesome. Oh my gosh, my kids,
Jaco's never been any anywhere like that before.

Speaker 6 (48:55):

of course, Jersey, Mike's and Planet Fitness.

Speaker 16 (49:47):
Oh my gosh, thank you guys so much. I'm sorry

Speaker 6 (49:50):

Oh I'm We are so excited to welcome you to
our Jay's Junior's family.

Speaker 16 (49:58):
Thank you guys so much. You are amazing.

Speaker 6 (50:01):
Let me ask you a question. What if I break
some rules here because the three of us are we
get the final votes and the final decisions here at
W and I C and Alison and Chelsea, and that's
what we do. How about we take your mom with
you as well? Would you like her to come?

Speaker 9 (50:12):
Oh?

Speaker 16 (50:12):
Yes, that would be fantastic. Oh my gosh. Yeah, and
she love that to see those memories made with her
grandchildren they have, they have a special bond.

Speaker 7 (50:21):
Of course, and Grandma's coming to you.

Speaker 16 (50:23):
Oh, thank you guys so much, Thank you Jay and
your team you. Oh my gosh, you guys are I
can't believe this. I'm like my dreaming now.

Speaker 8 (50:32):

so you can call.

Speaker 7 (50:36):
Your mom right now.

Speaker 6 (50:37):
Yeah, I call it right now.

Speaker 16 (50:37):
Okay, all right, I'm calling my mom. Thank you so much.
You guys are amazing. I will talk to you guys soon.

Speaker 7 (50:43):
Alrighty bye, lindsay.

Speaker 16 (50:45):
Thank you so much. By guys, have a great.

Speaker 6 (50:47):
Day time for That's incredible. It's incredible. Some incredible stories
from around the world and beyond. We'll start with this
hidden valley ranch will apparently be selling holiday cards with
to go packets of ranch dressing inside. They want eighteen
dollars for an eight card pack. Last check they were.
They're still a weightless but more will be released.

Speaker 8 (51:08):
That's actually funny and funnier than that is. My sister
to this day will only make her ranch from the packet.

Speaker 6 (51:19):
Oh, it's good.

Speaker 7 (51:20):
It is better. It is for sure, it's better. It
is who has time for that?

Speaker 6 (51:24):
But is she making ranch dressing or she making the
ranch dip.

Speaker 8 (51:27):
She's making the dressing with the shaker. She's got the
whole original kit that you would buy.

Speaker 7 (51:32):
What's that?

Speaker 6 (51:33):
Isn't there a hidden value that you would put in
sour cream? And can't you make that gaza.

Speaker 8 (51:36):
Yes, and that's like a vegetable. It is something that
you dip like vegetables in. But when ranch first came out,
I think that's how it was. You had to get
the packet and make it.

Speaker 6 (51:44):
Someone in Boulder, Colorado put up at least five profane
traffic signs demanding that people drive safe, but the police
didn't think it was funny. They say the person could
be charged with criminal tampering. Here's the Boulder Police commander
Darren Flouting talking about the signs being up around town.

Speaker 10 (52:03):
I'm guessing that it's a concerned citizen that is kind
of fed up with some of the behavior they're seeing
in their neighborhoods or in other neighborhoods. So, you know,
I definitely appreciate the gesture behind I think what they
were intending to do, But you know, like we said,
it is a crime, and you know, there's definitely other
other means that people could take to try to let
us know of these behaviors.

Speaker 7 (52:23):
Do you guys want to know what some of the
signs say though?

Speaker 9 (52:26):
Yeah, So it's like speed limit thirty five and then
right underneath it it says speed limit, get off your
damn phone. Then there's another one that said, don't kill
any kids today, slow the beep down.

Speaker 7 (52:42):
I I actually.

Speaker 6 (52:44):
Appreciate that well, I like I like the meaning behind it, right,
you know, but you can't do things that are on
last light.

Speaker 8 (52:49):
So did Darren flouting you appreciated.

Speaker 7 (52:53):
The fact that you remember is name.

Speaker 6 (52:55):
Of course she will, I know, of course she will,
but she won't, read the second line in an email
hate waking up. Here's a ridiculous hack that's going viral
from the self help guru Mel Robbins. She did it
for six weeks and she claims it's life changing for
people who wake up with the sense of dread.

Speaker 19 (53:16):
Today, I'm gonna teach you this life changing technique called slithering.
The first step for me is you're going to think
about just letting the weight of your emotion drop you.

Speaker 6 (53:27):
Out of it.

Speaker 19 (53:27):
Now, I am dripping down the side of the bed.
I'm getting on the floor, and instead of fighting the heaviness,
embrace it. I would just kind of start to move
and I'm writhing around on the floor and you're not
going to stand up yet. Get on all fours and
crawl across the floor.

Speaker 7 (53:45):
To the bathroom.

Speaker 6 (53:46):
Tool This lady.

Speaker 7 (53:48):
Question for mel. Once I get down on the floor,
how am I supposed to get back up? Because that's
gonna be a challenge for me.

Speaker 6 (53:56):
Let's be honest. If I crawled down to the floor
from the bed I fall asleep, it wouldn't help anything.
This sounds like an episode of Portlandia, but it's real.
There's a store in Portland, Oregon called Scrap that sells
actual trash.

Speaker 12 (54:14):
I went to the store where people can donate their garbage,
and then the store organizes the garbage.

Speaker 6 (54:18):
And then resells it to people who do crafts.

Speaker 12 (54:20):
Right when I walked in, I saw this bucket full
of bread tabs for twenty five cents per handful. You
can also buy handfuls of bottle caps. You can buy
people's old used paint. You can buy bits of broken trophies.
You can also buy people's award ribbons that they don't
want anymore. They also have a bucket full of erasers
that gave me fourth grade desk drawer flashbacks.

Speaker 7 (54:39):
Okay, that's not actual trash.

Speaker 8 (54:41):
I'm thinking about things in my trash can for bags
of chips and.

Speaker 7 (54:46):
Also like cap pads that.

Speaker 8 (54:50):
Have been clean, eggs, eat on yeah, and like just
nasty eggshells, and so they're not really donating their bags
of rash.

Speaker 6 (55:00):
But isn't this the same concept of one eight hundred junk,
Like I love one eight hundred junk. Yeah, you can
just go through your house and be like, oh these
frames that used to be in the in the window
of your front or were throwing those out and oh
this dresser, we don't want you. Just stack everything in
the middle of the driveway or in the middle of
the garage, and then one hundred drunk comes They take it,
I know. And then if they can donate stuff, they do.

(55:23):
If they scrap it, they do like they do all
I mean, pay for it. But it's a good service.
But that's what this sounds like. Yeah, yeah, I honestly
like broken egg shells and old paper towels.

Speaker 8 (55:31):
And by the way, everything he named, those bread clips
and the erasers and the trophy parts, I have none
of that in my garbage.

Speaker 6 (55:38):
Say none of it.

Speaker 9 (55:39):
Did you guys see what left my house yesterday two
days ago?

Speaker 16 (55:43):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (55:43):
Is it the big bird costume?

Speaker 9 (55:44):
The big bird costume? Yes, someone came and picked it up.
Look at him just sitting there waiting to find his
new home.

Speaker 7 (55:50):
That's so sick.

Speaker 6 (55:51):
How did you get rid of it?

Speaker 9 (55:52):
My mom put it up on like Facebook marketplace for free,
because you know, it was just losing all its feathers.
Do you know how much demand this thing was in?
I could have made so much money off of that costume.

Speaker 6 (56:06):
We're dumb, you know what? You know I were dumb.
You know what else I learned too? I learned that
Chelsea went to the Farmington Hills building that were moved
out of now two days ago and went through her
office and a couple of our like designated areas, Like
do you know how much stuff we could have? We
could have had a rummage sale and made a ton
of dough. I know I woke up with Jay Towers
T shirts from ten years ago.

Speaker 8 (56:27):
Please don't remind me. Every day for the last two weeks.
When I walked through that building, my brain spun right
about Craigslist. I looked at things going I could get
eighty bucks for that, like you have, Noah, I the
the emotional angst I had right for all of the money.

Speaker 20 (56:44):
That you could assault some wald waters for sure of
those stupid we are balls you sit on for a chair,
maximcise balls.

Speaker 6 (56:59):
And it's time for De Traits Faverame Battle to Sexes

are afraid to ride on or.

Twenty two ten Alison, what's something that can turn what's that?

Number one and Jay names something that comes the impacts
of six or twelve.

Speaker 6 (58:23):
Six or twelve nuggets.

Speaker 9 (58:26):
Ah, that did not make it. Zero points for that.
That was a good one though. Soda, beer, eggs, hot
dogs all made the list in Alison Wins thirty to ten.

Speaker 7 (58:35):
