Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojo in the Morning Shannon, you were you know,
we're calling people out right now, we're just doing like this.
I like these two segments back to back. This is
actually a good one. Uh so Anna in her car situation,
Now it's Mojo in the Morning show, Shannon.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
What was it you were out to eat? Or were
we well?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
So I went to pick up a carry out and
it wasn't ready yet.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
So I sat at the bar and was waiting.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
And while I was waiting, I noticed there was a
woman sitting at a table nearby. She was dining all
by herself. Actually, she randomly had a little teeny tiny
dog on the chair next to her.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
And when her waitress.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Dropped off her bill, I watched this woman reach into
her purse, pull out a pair of blue latex gloves,
put them on, and she signed the bill with her
gloves on. And I was like, what in the actual
act is happening here?
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Or was she afraid of she was afraid of touching?
This is a very good question.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
I have no idea because she didn't have the gloves
on for the other part of her dining experience. She
was there with her you know, dog on the seat
next to her, but she felt the need to wear
gloves to sign, to sign, to pick up the pen
and sign the bill.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
Did she look healthy?
Speaker 4 (01:16):
My only thing would be like, maybe she's immunal compromised,
maybe she's gone.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
But if that were the case, and I would feel
for her.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
She she already touched everything everything else to you ever
get out of it happening.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
You ever get on an airplane and you get on
an airplane and you're waiting to get to your seat
because you're waiting because the lady, it's usually a lady,
it's never a guy. Lady is literally wiping down the
entire seats and everything, and she's cleaning the seats like
you know, she's out of the service that does it,
you know, and she's disinfecting the whole thing, and you're
(01:51):
cleaning the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
And I'm going, I'm sorry, I get it.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
I totally understand this is a German fested place, but
I think the air is the air is oute. Yeah,
I like people do that in in you know, restaurants too,
but go into restaurants doing Look.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
You know, she just benefited it out.
Speaker 5 (02:11):
She well, no, I don't really make sense because she
had to glove, so she this was premeditated. But I
was like, maybe she saw something happen with that pant
like before the wage just.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Brought it to all. She was like, you know what
I'm saying, wiped her nose. They brought her to pan.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
Yeah, I don't know, but again she had the gloves
with her, so she knew what she was coming for.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
You know what I gotta find for you guys.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
And by the way, eight four to four Mojo Live
eight four four six sixty five six four eight. I
gotta find this story. And if I find it, I
think it's going to be a great topic. I heard
this story about this woman in Atlanta. See if you
guys find the story, and if you do, see if
I can get the audio of This is trending right
(02:52):
now on TikTok because her baby was screaming and crying
so much in the uh in a restaurant that a
customer came up to her and told her you got
to leave. You got to take this baby out of
the restaurant, and and the baby was sold out. All
(03:14):
right here you go, hold on, sand hold on. I
think I don't know if this guy is swears or anything.
Let's see what we got here.
Speaker 6 (03:20):
And because her eight month old baby was screaming loudly
in this restaurant, and he confronted the woman, letting her
know that it's probably better that she takes the baby
outside because she can't stop screaming. Now, there's obviously two
sides to this story, because a screaming baby in a
restaurant is rude to the other patrons that are paying
(03:41):
to be there and trying to just.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Enjoy their meal.
Speaker 6 (03:43):
A lot of people work very hard and the time
off is actually at a restaurant where they want a
little bit of peace while they enjoy food. But also
others would say that this woman has the right to
bring her baby to this restaurant so she can also
get a break to eat her food. But people also
feel that it's not fair for you to bring an
eight month old baby that won't be able to control
herself at a public setting and just expect everybody to
(04:06):
deal with it, especially with the prices of food.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
All right, I want to find I gotta find the
screaming again. I want to see that was way too loud, Yeah,
but I want to see the screaming baby. Hold on,
where do I find this thing screaming baby in Atlanta,
because everybody's been posting it the last couple of days, and.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
The woman is mad. She's mad because she says.
Speaker 5 (04:30):
That gentlemen here is telling me to tell my eight
months old to stop screaming because he has because he
has sensitive ears.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
I know it's loud, but he's an adult. He can leave,
and he chooses not to leave. He's me to tell
me to take my baby off because he has no
she's a child, sir, it's not me. I didn't do anything.
Speaker 6 (04:54):
At our discussion.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
They don't want to. You came to me about my child,
did you not?
Speaker 7 (05:04):
He speaking for other people that haven't spoken.
Speaker 5 (05:06):
And all the reason I'm furious about it is because
you came to address me about.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
An eight month old. I know I am not forcing
any I didn't tell the baby.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
I'm happy that she has a voice, and I'm happy
she can speak because that shows you out here that
came to speak that's not verbal.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
So I am grateful for.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
And that's not up to you, as an adult, to
to to chastise me or.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
To or to whoop me because my.
Speaker 6 (05:26):
Child is speaking.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
What would you rather hear? This mom or his kids?
Speaker 7 (05:30):
Wrong?
Speaker 2 (05:31):
And you're being.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Previous right now, because there was nothing in this world
that you that that made you feel.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Like you can come say that to me about my child.
And then you're upset that I'm reacting. I'm reacting to
your response that one would.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Like she has no groundings standing on right now. She's
trying to make a point, but she doesn't have a point.
Your child, get the chicken nuggies in league.
Speaker 8 (05:53):
To stop screaming.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Oh my god. That Actually, this is why I don't
have kids. Listen, are beautiful.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Everybody don't need them, know, and I will say, I'm
one of these people.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
So it's just some places kids don't need to be
like that.
Speaker 3 (06:09):
Yeah, you have to at the movies.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
It's not time for you to come see the latest movie.
If you just had a baby, I know you want
to see it. And just by taking it outside of
the seat in a little hallway where I can still
see you when the curtains move, I can still hear
your damn baby.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
Rhana? Is it Rhana? Arena?
Speaker 6 (06:31):
Rana?
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Irana? How are you good? What's going on?
Speaker 8 (06:36):
Oh? I was just commenting about the receipt paper.
Speaker 7 (06:39):
I've seen videos where people claim that it's a curseinogen,
and that's why they like refuse to touch it.
Speaker 2 (06:46):
I mean, I don't.
Speaker 9 (06:47):
Know what kind of answer it causes or anything, but yeah,
that's interesting.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
So that's what you put in the gloves.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Maybe maybe then you gotta tap tap to pay. I
can't get my visa ever tap it. It never works
whenever I try to tap the dam. Let's go back
to the baby, because by the way, that baby right
there screaming like that is going to be the next Beyonce.
That kid is gonna listen to that voice. That's up, Hayley,
(07:18):
what's up?
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (07:20):
I was just commenting on like the Brosiet stuff. So
I delivered for Kroger, and this happens all the time.
We're like, I bring the groceries like closest to the doors.
And yesterday this lady like was speaking through her door
telling me to put herself in her garage. So I
was waiting for her to open up her garage and
(07:40):
then I think she thought I was gone, but like
she came out full blown mask, wearing gloves, and I
was like trying to take the groceries closer to her door,
and she's like, no, keep six feet away from me like,
I don't know what was going on?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Wow as well?
Speaker 1 (07:58):
You know, God bless her. You feel bad? But going
out and go queue? I want to go back to
the uh confronting thing.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Queue. You there?
Speaker 8 (08:12):
Yeah, yeah, I'm here.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Que Let me ask you did your did your insides
make weird noises when you started hearing the screaming baby
just a few minutes ago on the radio.
Speaker 7 (08:23):
I hear a screaming child like that every night at home.
Speaker 5 (08:26):
My neighbor daughter has autism.
Speaker 7 (08:30):
Like that all night. Now, I will love peace in
my home. That is my home. I will love peace.
I hear banging bull and she has four kids.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
But at a public setting in a restaurant, if you
don't want to hear it, like you said, you can leave.
Speaker 8 (08:41):
You don't go into public restaurant expect peace.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
But at home, I expect it and I don't get it,
but I don't complain.
Speaker 8 (08:46):
The kid has autism.
Speaker 7 (08:47):
You never know what a kid has for you to
judge a mom about her kids.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
But do you think though that you should maybe take
that baby outside for a little bit and try to
comfort it to stop crying.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I mean, does the guy that he possibly could?
Speaker 7 (08:59):
But if she couldn't be going to jerr because she.
Speaker 8 (09:01):
Can't get the kids well.
Speaker 2 (09:02):
And I'll be honest with you, I don't.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
I don't think you as a neighbor should have to
deal with the screaming kid.
Speaker 2 (09:07):
Either all night.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
I don't I listen. I don't think either one of them.
And I feel bad for anybody that has a child
that is screaming. She said, this baby's nonverbal. I mean,
first off, the baby was like two years old. All
babies that are two years old are like nonverbal. That
kid looked like it was just a screaming kid. I
don't think that's what she was saying. I was saying,
my baby could be nonverbal. Oh, like that's what she
was saying. I'm thankful my baby can't make all this noise.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
That was her point. What's going on, Michelle.
Speaker 7 (09:35):
Hey, what's up? Like I've got two kids and we
go to the restaurant and we don't just screams in
a restaurant, because like, you need to talk to your
kids and you know, get them to pay attention. But
like you you're going to enjoy yourself. There's other kids
that want to enjoy their self, you know, And if
that kid is disrupting some but like the whole place
(09:57):
they got to go.
Speaker 8 (09:58):
I know, yeah, okay, they have I should go.
Speaker 7 (10:01):
I'm on his team all the way. And I'm a mom.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Maybe I was raised differently though. I just feel like
it's a respect factor that you got to have for
other people. And if my child is wilding out right,
and I'm not saying any medical reason anything like that,
I'm saying all things, even if my child is wilding out,
I have to be respectful of everybody else because I
don't know their circumstances. What if that couple saved up
for however long, this is there one night out and
I'm in here with my baby ruin it. I don't
(10:26):
think that's fairit to another couple. Yeah, can you imagine?
You imagine that exactly?
Speaker 2 (10:33):
What's up? How you doing, Allison?
Speaker 7 (10:36):
Yes, I'm doing great. And like I was saying, I'm
probably gonna get a lot of backlash, but it's but people.
Speaker 8 (10:40):
Get on my nerves with the whole autism thing.
Speaker 7 (10:42):
The child may be autistic, so that means he supposed
to act the food. You can't raise your child to
know right from wrong, discipline them. Like I said, I
have a eighteen twenty one year old autistic cousin. I've
never seen him at the fool in the public, because
we don't play that you at the fool, we gonna
discipline regardless of what's going on, because you know, right
from Rome, I don't know that.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Because I'm just saying maybe there's levels autism, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
No, I don't.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I got to be able to take that out of
the story though, because that was not part of this story.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I was not part of this story. The mom was basy.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Tried to use that as ammunition to say if this
was the case, but that wasn't the case.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Honestly, again, I would rather hear the baby screaming than
hear that mother, Abe, what's up?
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Hi?
Speaker 8 (11:37):
Hey, good morning everyone?
Speaker 2 (11:38):
How what's going on.
Speaker 9 (11:40):
I'm going to take the side of the guy who
confronted the mother, and if I were him, I would
have told her man that son, kids, and you too. Yeah,
this is what we love children, We love life and
all that.
Speaker 8 (11:55):
But the unfortunate reality is they cannot. They cannot function
as normal members of society. And if she's saying he
could have gotten up and left, she should have gotten
up and left. Everyone deserves a peaceful environment, and so
she should have stayed there her.
Speaker 1 (12:10):
But at this is where we need a Mojo in
the Morning show shirt that does say f them baby,
run it up, Jay?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
What's up?
Speaker 6 (12:17):
Hi?
Speaker 9 (12:19):
I think everybody should try to lead that baby a
Laurele something I love about it because baby's proud that
that's not crying.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
At a certain point, there's a line and you say, Okay,
we're going to go for a walk for a little bit.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
Jay, where are you gonna eat tonight? Where are you
hanging out tonight? I'm bringing a baby on your house.
Speaker 8 (12:39):
Bring it to the house. I'm only hanging out in
the house.
Speaker 2 (12:41):
I don't Yeah, you can.
Speaker 8 (12:43):
I got to key myself.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
That make a bunch of.
Speaker 7 (12:45):
The way all day.
Speaker 1 (12:46):
Hold, how about wait, what about the kid that's not
screaming so much? But what about the kid that's sitting
in the booth behind me and he's bouncing NonStop and
making me have to be feeling like I'm on a
Cedar point ride.
Speaker 8 (12:58):
You don't have different I remember my day.
Speaker 9 (13:00):
He just kept kicking the seat in the movie theater.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
E Goober's attim Goobers. Sorry, I got so excited.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Nobody gets scoobers, what is the deal you talk about
your dad, if my if that was out with my dad,
my dad would pack us all up and we'd go home.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
We wouldn't even get a carry out. It would be
we wouldn't even eat that. And what happened that night
