Speaker 1 (00:01):
Well, Jordan, the mornings Dirty on the thirty, all right,
the Dirty on the thirty This morning is your indication
that you can win jingle Ball tickets. So make sure
that you're always listening to us every single hour, Shannon,
what's trending in this morning and the Dirty.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Well, Taylor Swift is giving fans one final eras tour moment.
Disney Plus just dropped the trailer for the Era's tour,
The Final Show at the Concert films.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Yes for being a part of the most thrilling chapter
of my entire life.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
So it's the concert film capturing the very last night
of a record breaking tour in Vancouver. It will be
the first time, by the way, that swifties will see
the full Torture Poets Department set included in a film,
by the way, and then along with that, don't forget,
She's dropping a six episode docu series, The End of
an Era, with the behind the scenes footage and moments
from life on the Road. I know, Travis, her mom
(00:53):
definitely a big part of that. Some dates for you
for both of these. So the concert film drops on
Disney Plus December twelfth, and then the End of an
Era docuseries also begins December twelfth, with two episodes released
every week through the day after Christmas, so lots of
stuff to watch if you're a taylors.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
What's the difference between this and the last thing that
we talked? It was like, I feel like everything runs
into each other. Well, like there's always something.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
We talked about the docuseries, but then this is now
the film. Okay, that was everybody was posting about last
night because we got that trailer. Really, I will not
do any more Taylor Swift because you sound kind of
grouchy about her at all.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
I don't. I'm not grouchy about Taylor.
Speaker 1 (01:34):
I just feel like sometimes we tug Taylor and it's
like nonsense, you know what I mean, Like it's just
basically guess what Taylor just dropped?
Speaker 3 (01:41):
You know. Another thing is like, Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I try to avoid it for you, but if it's trending,
I got to talk about it.
Speaker 3 (01:46):
So that was lady. Yeah, are you excited about this?
You're my barometer on Taylor very.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Much so, because this is the only film I've wanted
to see out of all of her aerostour stuff that
she's released.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You haven't seen enough Taylor swift. You gotta see more,
of course.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Okay, she's been a thirty eight million concerts already in.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Nineteen To be fair, who's gone all right?
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Megandnesstellian scored a legal win in Miami after a jury
ruled that a blogger named mologograms to fame her and.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
The backstory here.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
She'd accused this blogger of spreading all sorts of lies
harassing her online. The big one was the sharing of
the AI generated deep fake horn video of her that
she obviously took issue with.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
So it was a short trial.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
Two days of deliberations, jurors found this blogger liable for
defamation and emotional distress. Now she was seeking millions in
terms of damages. She was only awarded around fifty nine
thousand dollars, but still a victory for her, and that
case is closed and a brand new study about kids
(02:52):
and phones definitely something to consider if a phone is
on your kids Christmas list this year.
Speaker 5 (02:57):
It's a question so many parents face, how old should
your child be before getting them a smartphone? Now, a
study in the journal Pediatrics finds children who have a
smartphone before the age of twelve were at a higher
risk for depression, obesity, and insufficient sleep than those who
did not yet have one. Researchers also finding the younger
(03:19):
a child is when they get a smartphone, the higher
their risk for developing those issues.
Speaker 4 (03:24):
Most kids, by age we've already had a smartphone. The
median age was eleven. The kids with having a smartphone
overall was associated with worse outcomes.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
While researchers stop short of recommending a specific age for
phone readiness, doctor say the decision comes down to weigh
the benefits of a phone against a child's maturity and
level of responsibility.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
We need to be thinking about their health, online exposure,
potential addictive behavior, and how owning a smartphone might affect
their long term health.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
A smartphone does have its benefits, such as increased connectivity
and access to information, but doctors say parents should impose
rules to limit potential harm, like no phones at dinner
or at bedtime, and make sure kids still take part
in activities not requiring phones.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
We want less devices, less screens, more childhood.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Well, there goes Lucy's phone. This year. Grace wasn't getting
a phone.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
The more the more I see you, she's gonna be
like thirty, I told her when the iPhone twenty five
comes out.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
She Oh my gosh, hold on, Jason, wants to say
something to you before you end the dirty What's up?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Jason?
Speaker 7 (04:40):
Hey, how's it calling good?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
What's going on? Do you lose your voice?
Speaker 6 (04:43):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Jason?
Speaker 7 (04:45):
Yes, I did. Me and my wife were there last night,
and I just wanted to say. I just wanted to
say she was such a great host, and it was
such a wholesome moment when your dad came in and
gave you a hug. It just it made my heart
feel good and it was such a great experience, and
I just wanted to thank you for your being so
good everybody.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
And what Jason Shannon was at j C.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Penny last night with the jingle Ball collection, and man,
there was a mountain of people there.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I mean, when when you asked down River to show
up for something, down River shows up for something.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
And it was awesome.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
And my dad, Yes, was there and he tried to
win prizes and I had to tell him you are
not allowed to win because you are my family. He
also made about a thousand new friends. And Jason, by
the way, was one of our winners last night.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
So really, what did Jason win? What'd you get you
in jingle Ball tickets?
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Or did you win one hundred dollars Jacy Penny gift card?
I can't remember.
Speaker 7 (05:37):
I got the gift card and my wife also won
the gift card.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, it was incredible, all the people there. They were
both so lucky. You went to the Michigan game the
weekend and screamed to space, Oh wow, Jason, are you
I have no voice? Are you a Michigan fan or
are you a Buckeye fan? Yes?
Speaker 7 (05:55):
I couldn't stop screaming at the buck nuts.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
Rest that voice up for jingle Ball so that you
can be singing along next week.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Yep. So nice to meet everybody last night.
