Speaker 2 (00:42):
I'm so exhausted, tired, tired, tired. I stayed up late
last night.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
You know the worst is and this is what I've
learned any kind of like Sunday Night football or Monday
night football, unless I'm there, I'm going to bed and
I'm gonna get the results the next day because I
am the bad omen for the Lions.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
If I'm at the game, they win.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
Okay, So if you'd like to taking me in a
Monday Night's game, I'll go to Monday Night's game A
week from tonight.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
But if I watch on TV and stay up late,
you know what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
I stay up late, they lose, and then I'm pissed
that I didn't get the sleep that I should have gotten.
I know, I fell asleep on the last Sunday night
game and ended up coming getting excited over the wind.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
You know, So go ahead, you got the stories. What's
going on?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Well, So, as we all know, the Lions lost to
the Chiefs last night and things got extremely heated in
the final seconds as the two teams took the field
at Arrowhead to take hands, lying safety Brian Branch reached
out and hit Chiefs wide receiver Juju smith Schuster in
his face mask. That sent Juju to the ground and
then the scuffle has gone escalated from there.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Kansas City gets the victory thirty to seventeen as Patrick
Mahome's beach Jared Golf and there's so got a little
fight here, well, education going on.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
What started it?
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Branch was involved in something and there was a little
exchange and.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Mutians are heading off the field here.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
As this thing is left to settle down.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
In the postgame press conference, coach Dan Campbell expressing his disappointments.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
I love Brown Branch, but what he did is inexcusable
and it's not going to be accepted here. It's not
what we do. It's not what we're about. I apologize
to Coach Reid and the Chiefs and Schuster. That's not okay.
That's not what we do here. It's not going to
be okay. He knows it, our team knows it.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
What did so Branch did come out with ac Yeah,
I mean right after he was interviewed.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
I don't know what you know.
Speaker 5 (02:41):
News broadcast heam interviewed him, but he admitted it was childish,
but he also said that the refs allow stuff to
happen throughout the course of the game that at that
moment he felt was unacceptable.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
He felt like, yeah, he felt like he was bully
during the game.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I said this a few minutes ago on the show
when we were talking about the Chiefs conspiracies. Unfortunately, Brian
Branch has just taken away any argument that you could
say about the Chiefs not having a penalty called against
them the entire game, and that you feel like there's
a little bit of favoritism, because now everybody's just gonna
talk about this whole incident, and it just bums me out.
(03:17):
I like that Dan Campbell is a guy that says,
you know what, We're not gonna accept that, because, honestly,
if somebody did that to one of our guys, we
would all think he was a punk ass bitch for
doing that.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Yeah, By the way, talking about the game, Taylor Swift
was there last night to support a fiance. It was
her first on camera appearance.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
At a Chiefs game this season.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
Sat in a suite with her soon to be in laws,
Donna and Ed Kelsey. Also was hanging with WNBA star
Caitlyn Clark, her massive engagement ring on display for everybody
to see.
Speaker 2 (03:47):
Done with it? Aren't you done with the whole Taylor
thing at games? Well?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Okay, honestly, I think the NFL in a way is
done with it because we didn't see her twenty three times.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Yeah, I only actually saw her once. Now, I wasn't
watching the game like she's sitting on my couch. I
was kind of doing other things.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
But I think I think she's hiding in there, Like
I don't even think that she's able to be seen
in there.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
So yeah, later this morning, by the way, a big
announcement of some sort on Good Morning America.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Really, hold on a second, let me get that big announcement.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Let's see if we got it. When is that supposed
to be on? Do we know? Uh?
Speaker 3 (04:19):
She's at it again, Taylor Swift Shattering Records. You're the
biggest album debut in history with over four million units.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
And now Tomorrow Morning GMA.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
Has a huge new exclusive announcement on Taylor. So what's
next for her?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Find out on Good Morning America.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
All they're saying is between seven and nine. Oh wen't
heard anything yet?
Speaker 2 (04:41):
All right, what do you what do you think it's
going to be Lydia. It's just going to be an
aerostaur documentary already know? Oh you do? Okay?
Speaker 3 (04:48):
Yeah, she put at the end right right, Okay. President
Donald Trump arrived in Israel earlier today to oversee a
landmark peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, a deal expected
to finally end the two year war in Gaza.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Getting them was.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Amazing, excellent because we were involved and they were in
places that you don't want to know about.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
So I'm trying to keep up with the live updates
on this. All of the remaining living hostages in Gaza
have been freed from Hamas captivity.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
And are back in Israel.
Speaker 3 (05:25):
So thirteen hostages were just escorted across the border by
the Israeli military after a group of seven hostages were
released earlier today, so twenty in total. The presidents set
to meet with families of these hostages in Jerusalem before
heading to Egypt for an international summit where world leaders
are expected to finalize what is happening here.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
The Muslim and Arab countries are all cheering. Everybody's cheering
at one time. That's never happened before.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
It's an honor to be involved, and we're going to
have an amazing time.
Speaker 2 (05:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Now, As part of the first phase of this agreement,
the release of two one hundred and fifty Palestinian prisoners
serving long and life sentences is currently underway, as is
the release of more than seventeen hundred Palestinian detainees from
Gaza held by Israel since the attacks on October seventh,
twenty twenty three. So that is all happening as I
(06:18):
speak right now. And lastly, former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez
released from an Indianapolis hospital and then processed in the
Marion County Indiana jail before being allowed to leave. He
was booked in connection with that fight he got into
last week, where he attacked a sixty nine year old
delivery driver outside of a downtown Indianapolis hotel, and then
(06:39):
the delivery driver in self defense, ended up stabbing Sanchez.
He faces a felony battery charge, which is punishable by
one to six years in prison, along with multiple misdemeanors
for what he did. He'll be in court again on
November fifth. As he left the jail, he told the
media that he was just focused on his recovery.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
But I'm focused on my recovery and I just want
to see my wife. I want to see my son,
my two baby girls.
Speaker 5 (07:07):
I remember after the incident, I think you said he'll
probably get fire from whatever is the sports league. Have
they made an announcement at all, haven't yet.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
But there is a clause in our contracts as well
as I'm sure his contracts, which is a morality clause,
and it's you know that you can't put your you know,
your employers and a bad light. And I think this
puts them in a bad light. I think that they're
waiting for the due process to happen interesting and then
they will fire him because they know that, you know,
(07:36):
they don't want to be liable for anything after that.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
But obviously he wasn't calling games this weekend.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
I remember Michael Irvin got in the situation. I don't
know if you remember, not too long ago, different situation,
but same in the vein of made a bad light
on his network and they got fired for it, and
then turns out that he was innocent.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
He sued him for a hundred million dollars. That's probably
and that's probably why they don't think.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Yeah, I think Mark Sanchez might have the prettiest mug
shot I have ever seen. I don't know about you,
but that is a pretty man there, even better than
James Brown's.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Oh the the the I feel good James Brown, I
don't know what. I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
No James Brown, the guy from the NFL on CBS.
James Oh my god, is that his ugshot?
Speaker 2 (08:24):
Man? He did not feel good. He looks he looks rough.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
Some of the mugshots that you'll see, like celebrities take,
they say that you should never look horrible in yours,
like Jamespring smile well, they say because one of the
things is it will forever be out there, right.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, all right. For anything you missed from today's.
