Speaker 1 (00:33):
Can we can we get words from him before? So well,
we'll get inspirational words from Kevin's son, Josiah. Josiah's mom
is away on a work trip. Kevin has to be
uh at home just to get him off to school,
even though our listeners were all saying that he should
have just let him stay at home.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
All right, he here, But you want to know Josiah, what's.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Up, buddy? How you doing? I'm doing good, fantastic, Josiah.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
I think personally you should just take an extra long weekend,
but going to school is a good option too.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You don't want to grow up to end up being
like us.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
All right, yeah, yeah, you're supposed to say no, I
want to be like you guys.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
What do you guys got going on in school today?

Speaker 1 (01:22):
And if you find out when you go to school
that they just put a movie on for you, guys,
I'm gonna be upset that you went to school today.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
Movie Day's the best day.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
They do that sometimes, like last week in Pe, they
made a movie for us to watch.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
They did what movie they play in gym class?

Speaker 6 (01:38):
They played Yeah, and one time they also we watched
The Magic School Bush.

Speaker 5 (01:45):
Okayic school Bus is good?

Speaker 2 (01:47):
All right, Well listen, it's good to have you here.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
We we love getting a little insight on behind the
scenes Dad, Kevin, which, by the way, would you say,
on a scale of one to ten, is your dad
like somewhere in the middle? Is he towards the closer
to ten? What is he like in what terms as
far as like being a good dad, good responsible guy,

(02:10):
teaching you good things?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
M M.

Speaker 6 (02:14):
I give him a good let's see here, a good
nine point eight perfect?

Speaker 5 (02:21):
What would what would give what would give him that
hundred percent score?

Speaker 3 (02:24):
H m hmm.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
If you let you stay home today, I.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Don't know if you guys heard me, but I said
nine point five out of one hundred nine.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
He really out here saying boom one hundred he just
built I got in my hands.

Speaker 6 (02:47):
Headphones.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, see that he's calling you off for being a liar.
All right, lady, let me borrow her chain. So all right,
Shannon is going to do the dirty. If you guys
want to chime in, you can.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
What's going on? Shannon?

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (03:01):
So Chloe Kardashian on the Caller Daddy podcast this week,
talking about all.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Sorts of stuff. I love Chloe because she's just so open.
She'll really talk to you about anything.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
The best Kardashian.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
Yeah, but she she talked at one moment about the
time she busted lamar Odom cheating on her.

Speaker 8 (03:18):
I was there, and I remember asking the guy at
the front. I was like, hey, is that's a hotel
lamar Odem? Where's lamar Oden? Like, he's this big guy,
you can identify him. He told me were room he
was in. I saw in the window that him and
this girl were. They were either naked or and she
was in lingerie something like that.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
I knocked on the door.

Speaker 8 (03:38):
They answered it. For some reason, and I just started
going ballistic. And I remember the next day it was
I think Penelope's birthday party, and it was a cowboy party,
and my knuckles were all bloody and gross, and I
just had bandanas wrapped around. I was on theme, and
I acted as if nothing ever happened.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
And I don't think I ever said a thing.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
Is that crazy?

Speaker 7 (03:57):
Showed right up to the hotel where she knew that
he was. Now, how did she even know where he
was in the first place.

Speaker 8 (04:06):
The best part, You're this seven foot tall man and
you're on the Lakers. Everyone knows who you are.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
You're very identifiable.

Speaker 8 (04:14):
So I think how I found out was people on
Twitter were like Lamar, Adams, Dida da and so I,
of course am that psychotic. I searched his hashtag, searched
his hashtag.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
But I don't think that's psychotic when he was acting
the way he was, for sure, for sure.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
She also revealed that Kim and Chris Jenner were the
ones who informed her about both Lamar and Tristan Thompson
cheating on her before she found out, and she was
asked about paychecks, who gets paid most on the Kardashians,
she said they're all paid equally.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Oh, they're not doing equal work.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
But she said they all have the ability to cut
an edit footage that they don't like from the show,
and she called out her sister Courtney for being the
one who requests the most edits.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Oh show.

Speaker 9 (04:58):
It was interesting off our Detroit Pistons, counting down the
hours until Game one tips off Saturday in New York,
I saw that the Michigan Central train station was all
lit up in Piston's colors, which is pretty cool, and
Cave Cunningham says, you can't help being the bad Boys
when you're upping Detroit.

Speaker 10 (05:18):
I'm not saying you guys are reincarnation, but you guys
have some very tough players on this team, and you
guys don't back down. Do you guys ever think about
the legacy of what it means to be a Piston,
that Bad Boys era. Guys trying to be a reincarnation
of that era.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Yeah, I mean when you're in Detroit for long enough,
I think it's just naturally like infects, Like it's contagious,
you know what I'm saying. Everybody's walking around with it.
Everybody kind of carries it with them, So I think
that's you know, the first step of being an athlete
in Detroit is you gotta play hard. You gotta have
some type of great great as the word that everybody

(05:52):
always use it.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
By the way, Kevin, you seen that there's a call
right now all over social media for them to bring
back the final countdown as the song when they do
the intro I have what Okay, So they there's a
call that says that the Pistons need to bring back
where Mason does the you know announce, you know, the
starting lineups and the stop doing that. They stopped using the.

Speaker 5 (06:16):
Song, that they stop using the song? What have they
been using?

Speaker 2 (06:19):
What do they use now? Cav what is?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Yeah, So there's a call from all these people all
over social media basically saying, hey, this is the truly
what you remember the Pistons for.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
The only thing I know about the Pistons.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Which is funny because they use this way back when
the Bad Boys Bad Boys were there and then brought
it back for the four you know season.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
They stopped it in between the Bad Boys and the
four season.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Yeah, they kind of like, stop stopping it.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
That's what I know. You for him, I don't follow basketball.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
It's got to be done in the right way, and
it has to be done with teams that deserve it.
Just to be candid in frank and if you have
a franchise that isn't performing well, and you don't want
to disrespect the rates who earn that.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Song, But doesn't that hurt team around by your franchise
telling you you're not a good team?

Speaker 4 (07:06):
No, No, I don't think it hurts team around at all.
I think I think it helps you earn it. You know,
It's like me when I when I constantly went and
throw back, throw down, I'm like something different. Good luck tomorrow,
you'll have no chance. I'm gonna make it really hard for.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Your first game.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
No.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
First game for the playoffs is Saturday at six pm
on ESPN's everybody tune in it.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
There's also there's also people pissed that the I guess
they play on draft day too. They trade play with
the NBA draft one of the their I think their
home game will be it right during the NFL Draft Thursday, Yeah, Thursday,
the twenty four, So people are upset about that. And
then did you hear the other thing with the Pistons.
The owner, they say has not allowed for people outside

(07:46):
of Michigan to buy tickets to the game.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
I think they relegated it to Ontario, Canada, the state
of Michigan, Ohio, and I want to say Illinois. Outside
of those areas, you can't take it.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yeah, you can't.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
In New Yorkers they don't want buying tickets and coming here.

Speaker 7 (08:05):
And lastly, the On Purpose with Ja Shetty podcast on
the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Have you guys ever listened to him? I really like him?

Speaker 7 (08:11):
Then, so he had the late Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate
Cassidy on as a guest this week, and she got
it was so sad, but she described the moment that
she found out that something was terribly terribly wrong. Liam
was in Buenos Aires. She had just come home like
two days prior.

Speaker 11 (08:32):
I got a phone call from one of Liam's friends
and he called me and said, is Liam okay? I
heard he fell from a balcony and I said, what
that must be a rumor. I was like, that's not
true at all, Like, there's no way this isn't true.
And when his friend first called me to he didn't
mention anything about death. So the first thing that went

(08:54):
to my mind was either it was a rumor, just
something for clickbait, or he fell off a balcony and
he broke a rib, Like he's okay. So I'm making
all these phone calls and nobody's answering. At this point,
I'm like starting to freak out and I'm starting to
get a little bit panicky. I call his friend back
and I say, have you heard any updates? I'm really confused,

(09:20):
like what's going on? And he was like, the only
update I've heard is that Liam's Liam's Liam's dead.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
And in that.

Speaker 11 (09:31):
Moment, I still didn't believe it to be true.

Speaker 5 (09:35):
There was just no way.

Speaker 11 (09:36):
But there was just that one little part of me
in the back of my head that was, like, why
would somebody make this up?

Speaker 3 (09:42):
You know?

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Awful you find out like thinking it's a rumor at first.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
She also talked about their very chilling last conversation.

Speaker 11 (09:49):
I remember sitting there with him and I was going
on and on and on and saying to Liam how
much I love him, and he laughed and he interrupted
me and he just said, like, you're gonna miss your flight,
your car's in the driveway. You're acting like this is
the last time you're ever gonna see me again.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
Wow, yeah is that crazy?

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (10:09):
For all of today.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
I started catch up by checking out the podcast search
Mojo in the Morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah, yeah, yeah Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 10 (10:20):
On social media like this is crazy, it's emju in
the morning, It's dirty.

Speaker 2 (10:23):
