Jordan the Morning's Dirty on the thirty. All right, channing
with what's trending this hour in a.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Dirty So I want to start off with a really
big story that is local to our Detroit listening audience,
but still interesting even if you don't live in the area.
Clinton Township Police are investigating this morning a shooting that
happened at Partridge Creek, which is a beautiful outdoor mall,
and the shooting happened during the annual Christmas tree lighting.

Speaker 4 (00:53):
People were just here trying to enjoy the tree lighting
and have fun, and that evening turned to be very
chaotic after this sh sho Now Clinton Township Police say
the shooting appears to be an isolated event between a
teenage victim and the suspect, and again not targeted at
the tree lighting. The victim is a reportedly in stable condition.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
As we said.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Before, police are still searching for the suspect. He was
last seen fleeing the mall to the west.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Police say he was last.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
Seen wearing a green hooded sweatshirt with white flowers, jeans,
and tennis shoes.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
Again, if you.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Live in the area, police are urging that you lock
your doors and windows now. Did speak to a woman
who was at the inside the mall working during the shooting.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I was like scared.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
I was scared because then like my manager was telling
everyone to move to the back, and then there was
like the cops and stuff and they were running with
their guns.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
They're still searching, by the way, for this suspect. By
the way, that audio courtesy of WXYZ Channel seven.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
Here in Destric.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
They have an idea of who it is, but yet
they can't find them, and they're thinking that he's in
hiding right now or.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
On the run.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Church is right across the street from my subdivision, so
our sub had like cops at the ends of the really.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
That's so scary, Lydia, I forgot you do live right
across the street there.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I was terrifying. Wow.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Tate McCray has a new man in her life. Over
the weekend, she was spotted with a guy, a guy
who looked like he had a broken arm, and nobody
knew who it was at first. Well, the Internet did
some investigating and he is none other than hockey player
Jack Hughes.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Of the Devil from Michigan. Yeah, he lives in.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
I did not know that. Twenty four years old.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
He's members of kids, got brothers, another brother that's in
hockey and then another brother that I think he's got
like two brothers that are in hockey.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Grew up in the area. Great, great looking kid.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Man gazing across each other at a dinner table.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
I want to know her ex was a hockey player, right,
I think so?

Speaker 1 (02:57):
I want to know how Jack, because I saw a
couple weeks ago on ESPN that he had hurt his
hand at a team dinner.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
I wonder if they were goofing around or something. I
caught his hand on glass. He's out for six to
eight weeks.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
She David kid Lile Roy, who is the other hockey
hockey player for it to make you're right?

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Or are you thinking of others? Because isn't Carrie Underwood
married one? And then there's like a whole bunch of
them that hockey guys get good looking.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Hillary Duff's first husband was ah, I know. And lastly,
psychiatrists say there is a real mental health boost behind
the whole friends giving trend when Doc explains that hanging
out with friends for a Thanksgiving style meal can actually
feel calmer and happier than the traditional family version. Why

(03:41):
because you're spending the day with people you choose, friends
you actually get along with, which lowers your stress levels.
It makes you feel more connected. And when everybody shares
what they're grateful for, which I know happens at a
lot of these things, your brain releases those feel good
chemicals that help you relax. So friends giving usually lighter, easier,
way more fun. Moral of the story, celebrating with friends

(04:01):
isn't just trendy. It might be exactly what your modo.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Can you have? I could have given that friends given
like that.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
My friends givings are the turkey stuffing I really, Yeah,
bring what you like it your Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (04:16):
My friends almost like my catfish nuggies and wings from
like my sister.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
My sister and her friends do a friends giving it
and everybody has to door dash something, but you don't
tell the group what you do dash. So it's like
Taco Bell.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
That's a Friday night. That's for me, all right.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
