Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Shannon's going to do the dirty. First, though,
we're gonna give you a chance to win jingle Ball tickets.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
On Jail December ninth.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
I don't know why I keep wanting to say in
June or July or something. It's going that fast. It's
going to be here within a month. We're going to
be hanging out at Little Caesars Arena with Nelly and
shine down your chance to be there too.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Eight four four Mojo Live, Mojo in.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (00:27):
Shannon, we were talking about the rats on our show
recently here and you're going to do the dirty and
you're going to talk about that hurricane. Did you see
those latest update on that. No, they're telling people in
Jamaica to not go outside into the water because they
say there are crocodiles. Oh wow, So crocodiles are looking
(00:47):
for a dry place to be and they're trying to
get in people's homes too.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
This is bad.
Speaker 4 (00:52):
I mean, Hurricane Melissa is this one and it hit
Jamaica yesterday as a Category five sustained winds around one
hundred and eighty five miles per hour, which is just
not so. Like you said, lots of flash flooding, lands slides,
excuse me, storm surges at like thirteen feet put the
(01:13):
powers out, all sorts of destruction. There are twenty five
thousand tourists that remained stranded on Jamaica. This is the
Prime Minister speaking.
Speaker 5 (01:22):
Jamaica must sustain a major impact from a Category five hurricane,
one of the strongest hurricanes to a pay Jamaica and
started with in the top ten and strongest hurricanes recorded.
The corrida of damage is significant. We have lost hospitals. Certainly,
our road infrastructure would have been damaged, which would include
(01:43):
bridous dollars and waterways. The housing infrastructure would have been
severely impacted in the corrida that the hurricane travel.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
It is headed towards southeastern Cuba than the Bahamas near Bermuda,
and then it's not going to come to the States
as a hurricane, but it will definitely influence the weather
that we'll have along the East coast over the next
couple of days.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Here's a local story to it. There's power a bunch
of people from.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Michigan local organization that are.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
That are there, but also Michigan Relief is trying to help.
Speaker 6 (02:14):
Are preparing to send loads of supplies to people that
are impacted by this storm.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
Hurricane Melissa packing a mighty punch as it makes landfall
in Jamaica.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
The non profit DRAW is sending resources down there.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I love some.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
Assistance in some way.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
That's where disaster relief at work or DRAW steps in.
Speaker 6 (02:35):
We're going to send primarily cleaning buckets. We've got everything
from all purpose cleaning, laundry, dish rags, sponges, clothesline, clothes pin,
there's towels in here, there's garbage bags.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
DRAW has partnered with other organizations to get the resources
where they're needed.
Speaker 6 (02:52):
Most partners and FedEx are helping us out. We're working
with an organization called World Division, which is an international
organization and they work with an international Baptist coalition to
work with on the ground local community churches and organizations.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Do you remember back when Haiti had all their earthquakes
and everything, and Mitch Album started the process of people
in the Michigan area being able to go and help out. Now,
his organization, I believe is one of the biggest that
is down there in Haiti helping out. So this is
really really sad to see what's going on because you
think about it, like the United States, you know, we
(03:29):
obviously complain all the time about how FEMA doesn't do
anything for us at all. Jamaica, they don't have the
resources or the money to be able to help anybody.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
Yeah, in other dirty today, Prince Harry, Megan Markle hanging
out at Game three of the World Series last night.
The best seats in the house. They were right there.
Was it behind the behind home plate? It was behind
home plate. Yeah, but the clock helped me behind the clock, yes,
thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
They were like literally sitting right there. And the issue was, well,
a couple of issues. One, they took the seats of
Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Kofax, who was sitting in
the second row next to sports legend Magic Johnson.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
It's also a part owner of the team.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
So it's like these these sports legends got displaced for
Harry and Megan to.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
Sit in the front row.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
That didn't sit well with a lot of people.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
That's interesting, like.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Got some booze. They definitely got some booze. Every time
that they were they appeared on the big screen.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
Back in the day, the Lakers used to always have
Jack Nicholson sit in the front row. Would they have
moved Jack Nicholson for the Royals, Like would they have led?
Say Jack, you got to sit back in the back seat.
I think Jack owned those seats though, But I don't know.
Speaker 6 (04:41):
Just some staples when you go to certain franchises, you
expect to see where they are.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Jack Nicholson one of those.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
I don't think that you want to move anybody because
you're superstitious too, Like you don't want to have superstition.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
By the way, Okay, speaking of superstitions, I saw this
statistic bred Pea's like country singer Brad Paisley performed the anthem,
the US national anthem, of course, before Game three between
the Dodgers and Blue Jays, okay, which we all know
Dodgers won, but it took eighteen and a half innings.
That was the longest game ever. It was the fourth
time that Brad Paisley has sung the anthem at a
(05:14):
World Series game, and they're saying he curses the games.
Every single game he has done the anthem at has
gone into extra innings eleven innings in twenty seventeen, eighteen
innings in twenty eighteen, ten innings in twenty twenty four
and eighteen and a half, just.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
A couple of days ago. Always Brad Paisley. I wonder
if he stays time, if he's funny. I got it here, bro, Yeah,
especially that last game.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Morgan Wallin's fan club Instagram account posted a very cryptic
video with the text system loading. The clip included all
of this, like red swiggle writing. It kind of resembled
like a sequence of tour stops and dates when artists
announce a tour. So everybody is thinking now that a
(05:59):
twenty six tour announcement from Morgan Wallen is a coming.
And do you have the clip h F eight on
the dirty wall. I want to mention it something age.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Let's see what that is.
Speaker 4 (06:10):

tail end of breast cancer awareness.
