na get some chairs here and bring.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Yes, are in studio guests brought to you by California Closet.

This is cool. Our backstage pass.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Get to hang out and I love it, Mojo.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
They get to Christen the couch. Yeah, go to the rear, Mojo.
This is your first time having people watch you from
the back.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Kind of yes, yeah, I kind of enjoy it. I
look okay back there. Yeah, once you go back, you
never go back.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
Go back news okay, And where we're from is in
the air. I like it. That's right to Alright, let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Well, nice to have you guys in our backstage pass,
brought you by a California closets.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:24):
We'll speaking of Detroit. One of Detroit's favorite winter traditions.
It's happening to nights. The sixty two foot Michigan grown
Norway spruce that is decorated in ornaments right now is
going to be illuminated by thousands of sparkling lights at

(01:46):
Campus Marshes. The tree is going to be lit between
seven and seven thirty, I'm told. But that area opens
at four and it's going to fill up real fast,
so you might as well just get down there as
early as I mean as close to four as you can.
But music, food trucks, figure skating, lots of photo opportunities
as well. DPD says they're expecting upwards of probably a

(02:10):
little more than one hundred thousand people, so definitely planned
to you know, be Cozy.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Be broadcast on a couple of stations. I think this year, right,
I don't you know, I don't know that. I see that.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
I think Channel seven normally does it. But I also
saw Karen Drew promoting something with the local.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Form Oh okay, well, heads up, to just remember there
is a curfew and anybody under the age of seventeen
has to be accompanied by a parent.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Or legal guardian. Last year, the record was one hundred
and fifteen thousand.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Okay, wow, yeahpectically, yeah, I have to say something that's negative, Anna,
And I know you're gonna be upset with me on
this one. But I saw the tree the last like
week and a half when I've gone and run some
errands close there. Now that we're downtown, I get to
do that all everybody's downtown errands for them.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
And the tree looked a little ratty raty.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
It looked like you know what, you know, how you
find that last tree on the lot and they and
they at the home depot and they say to you,
they say, yeah, that one's a special. We'll sell that one,
FIA for half price. That sixty something tree looked like
it had a lot of like.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I already saw brown area and stuff. Did I tell
you all this? They fill it in with different branches.
Oh really, They get branches shipped in from like New
York and stuff, and then they screw it into the
tree to make it look fuller.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, so before that, you know how trees never look
great before their lights are put on and their ornaments
and stuff, so maybe that's the case. So okay, well,
I'm excited for this. I'm excited for the big tree lighting,
and uh I will watch from to I'm the only
person I know that watches the fireworks, the parade and

(03:46):
the tree.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Lighting on television on the couch.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Like Chelsea looks at me and goes, there is nothing
else for you to binge watch, or there's not even
a game on that you can watch, or something like,
it looks pretty boring, do it.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
I've been in we're going to get him to be
the Grand Marshall one year, you know what. That would
be nice if they would do that, But I screw that.
You never go.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I want to be the Grand Marshal.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
You got to get into the Radio Hall of Fame.
I for seventeen years too. Let's just make it a show.
You could say to them.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
You could say to them, listen, I went on a
date at a puppet show on.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
Feel bad for me? You guys want to all right?

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yesterday, friends, family and fans gathered to honor the lead
Tedwick Boseman getting his star on the Hollywood Walk of
fame and his Madrinie's Black bottom Coat star Viola Davis
gave a beautiful, beautiful speech about him.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
I thank him for what he left behind in me,
which is a burning amber that always guides me to
a higher meaning of my work and my purpose.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
I could not take the construction vehicle beeping in the
background hour of that clip. I'm so sorry. But his
Black Panther director Ryan Coogler also spoke, and at one
point in the ceremony, his widow, Taylor Boseman. She spoke
as well, but she also placed a pair of his
shoes on the star in a very emotional moment.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Were the shoes like from anything? That's a good question.
I don't wonder if it was from that Mama Rainey's thing.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah, I'd be so mad if that was my family member.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Why did they not just yell and say, hey, stop,
give us ten minutes. Those ceremonies are short.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
Yeah, do that for when you're letting like a screech
from Saved by the Bowel.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Get one.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
But the man that you know has passed away.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
Yes, okay, I'm getting a little worried about Dolly Parton.
I know her herself and her family came out to say, like,
she is actually okay, but she's had several health issues.
Remember her sister posted that she was asking for prayers
a couple of weeks ago. Well, then this week she
missed the International Association of Amusement Park and Attractions Dollywood

(05:53):
Hall of Fame induction because of some sort of health issue.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Again, Well, hey there, it's Dollie, and I sure wish
I could be with you in person today, but you
probably heard that I've been dealing with a few health
challenges this fall, and my.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
Doctors told me to take it easy for just a
little while. Not that it's our business, but I hope
she's okay. She's seventy nine.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
So she's just went up there just sending recorded stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
She's sending recorded stuff. She's pulled out of a handful
of different things over the past couple of months.

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Yeah, that is kind of concerning. That makes you wonder
if maybe there's something more going on. Although she looks
good in the video.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Great, Yeah, I don't know. I love this song. I
like how you turned it out. I don't know it
was it was I got your money, wasn't it? Or
someone like what was it? She had a Highway.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
Was it maya ghetto super.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Shannon has just been Kevin in the throwback Throw it down,
Harry J. Shannon justin Now I want you to know
the parade company just called. Now they officially are putting
you on the list. After you got that one right,
you're going to be Grand Marshall next.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Ill cry if that actually happens. What's next time?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Okay, if you have little ones listening, please turn off
or turn it down. Don't turn it off, just turn
down the radio for a minute and a half. Okay, Okay,
So remember last in Last Hours thirty I was talking
about AI and how you have to be so careful
with AI around the little ones, well especially around this
time of year. And I say that because there's a

(07:42):
story going viral about kids and chat GPT asking questions
about the magic of Christmas. One mom was sharing this
story online. Her eleven year old asked Google how much
money Santa should spend per child, and Google's AI responded,
there is no set amount. Santa is a fictional character,

(08:05):
and the same thing is happening with chat GPT where
kids are asking about Santa and they're getting very interesting
real answers. So just putting that out there so you
can kind of monitor this situation.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
It's so like it's so.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You don't mess up a kids. Yeah, I'm saying, but
I'm just telling you.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Something.

Speaker 3 (08:31):
It's another thing to have to worry about to preserve
that Christmas Fanta.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
End of modern civilization is going to be chatgyr. The
truth is the end of modern civilizations. You're absolutely right, Powell, Michigan.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Another community fighting having any of these data centers brought
in the what uh they want to bring data centers
AI data centers and they last night got a six
month I think wait on whether or not they'll allow it.
They're saying that they'll use too much water and too
much electricity.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Interesting are we voting on that or the town is?
How all right?

Speaker 3 (09:08):
If you miss anything from this week of shows, please
