Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well jour in the morning's.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Dirty on the thirty. What a contest, What a great
win there, Lindsay dec Lan from Westland and at twenty
twenty five traverse winners. This morning here in our find
the fob contest at Moraine and Chevrolet, Shannon will do
one last dirty of the week and get everything tied
up here.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
Well, it was a chakra to some? Did he officially
turning down a possible plea deal in front of a
judge at a final hearing before his federal sex crimes
trial kicks off on Monday? That is when jury selection begins,
by the way, so we'll be talking a lot about
that over the coming weeks.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Him, by the way, taking this or not taking this
deal was his only safe chance of not having to
do the hardest of time. If they say if he
would have done this deal, it actually would have been
a break from him.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
That's why I say like it was a chakra to
some because it technically, I mean, which was a quote
unquote good deal considering everything He's facing again charges of rocketeering,
sex trafficking, transportations to engage in prostitution, and he just
maintains he is not guilty.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
Interesting that he didn't take it because the legal expert
that I heard from this morning on one of the
morning shows, I think it was Today's show, said that
him not taking this deal means his attorneys believe that
there's cracks in the US attorney's case. And it never
surprises me anymore when I hear of somebody that gets

(01:26):
off on stuff. And because I feel like sometimes everything
is tried in the court of law before.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
It is before it is tried, I'm sorry, in the
court of opinion law. Yeah, yep.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
So the prosecute federal prosecutors intend to call it twenty
witnesses to testify against Diddy. In the latest twist to
this just absolute craziness with Bill Belichick and his twenty
four year old girlfriend, Jordan Hudson. A former classmate of
Jordan's is now speaking out and they say this behavior

(02:00):
that we're all seeing is just classic Jordan interrupting his
CBS Sunday Morning interview, controlling everything about his reputation. At
least that's what we feel like. It is just so
her And again this is coming from an anonymous classmate
of hers from her high school in Massachusetts. This girl
calling her behavior totally on brand. She said, this is

(02:22):
exactly how she acted in high school, stomping around, being controlling.
Nothing has changed. Kanye West lawyers say he had a
First Amendment right to send his Jewish employee anti Semitic
text because he himself quote unquote is art.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Wait yeah, what that?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
In February, and unnamed former employees sued Kanye for, among
other things, sending a series a very belligerent, abusive, harassing,
anti Semitic, and otherwise offensive text messages. One of those
messages read I am a Nazi. Others said things like
shut the f up, the hal Hitler, you ugly at
I mean, just really horrible, disgusting things. But Yeah's lawyers

(03:04):
are coming around and claiming these texts are art and
thus have blanket protection under the First Amendment even in
his private communications like text messages.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
When is any legal going to step in in this.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Situation, like truly a conspirators was under a conservatorship?

Speaker 1 (03:23):
How has it not happened or how has he not
hate speech discrimination in the workplace. I don't think you
can sue for that though.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
That's the only thing you're You're you're saying are people
they got conservatorship for Britney because they were worried about
her personal health. They're saying, you're saying that, what are
they going to do? Like, how do they legally do.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Anything with this? I mean, to me, this is just
in the way harassment. But who's he? Who's employee? The
guy who's complaining that he was sending these Okay, well
that person sues him personally and then it goes on.
I think he's a problem, not hate speech and discrimination,
it is, but where do you legally? What do you
legally do?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
There's you know what I mean, Like, it's it comes
to a point where I just think, honestly, people just
need to stop telling a story. Like I think that
that's the problem, is that we all keep telling the
story over and over again.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I would love to know it just needs to go away.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Yeah, hey, what we're talking about nothing else.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
And lastly, Forever twenty one, hurry up and do some
shopping today or tomorrow if it's one of your favorite stores.
It is set to close all of its remaining US
stores in the next couple of days after filing for
bankruptcy for this second time this year. Forever twenty one,
it's been around since nineteen eighty four, which I did
not know has about three hundred and fifty US locations

(04:37):
as of today. Come next week it will have.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
A zero point zero. So can I do one last story? Yeah? Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
The movie Rust officially was released last night at midnight,
so it's out in select theaters. I was reading some
of the reviews from the USA Today, New York Times,
and The New York Post. The reviewers all said, it
is so awkward to watch that movie, especially during shooting scenes,
knowing that Hannah Gucci was it Hannah Gutierras or whatever

(05:07):
whatever the woman's name, Helene whatever, the armor that or
the person who got shot and killed or whatever. Yeah,
so they say it is very, very awkward. They say
the movie is extremely awkward, and the writer of the
movie said after watching the movie they regret ever writing
this movie. So it's wild. But it's on streaming platforms, Okay,

(05:28):
that's the only place to watch it. It's in some
select theaters.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Would you would you stream it just to see what
it was like out of curiosity sake?

Speaker 1 (05:35):
I truly have no curiosity really, So I think I've
talked about it so much. I think it's like a
train Wreck.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, I think that that would make me really sad,
knowing that behind the scenes somebody lost their lives.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
But there's been other movies in the past where people
have died during the actually, uh was it didn't know
what's his name died during Batman or whatever or not
during the Batman, but he died played a joker. You
know why.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
You're right, you're marry right about that. And I watched
that one, all right.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
