Speaker 1 (00:00):
Push the Jordian Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
I always like when I'm telling my brain to do something.
All right, Shannon with the Dirty on the thirty. And
by the way, Shannon Tonight. I gotta shout Shannon out here.
Shannon Tonight is going to be hosting or actually not
performing in a special event for the New Day Foundation.
And I just got word that every one of the

(00:26):
other radio people that are performing in are saying have
taken today off to rest for their lip sync performance.
Shannon's the only one that came into work because she
cares about the listeners.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Extra point for you. That's huge.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Is that true? Yes, she took the day off today.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
All the other shows I was listening this morning to WWJ,
Jackie Page was off. I heard that Rob and Holly
aren't going to be on this afternoon on the country station.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I hope the judges are listening and taking notice.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
I think that you should realize that this is somebody
that's dead, right, So make sure that you tonight if
you go to MotorCity Soundboard, you extra share Shannon on.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Thank You as she performed real nervous. I'm a lot nervous,
but it's gonna be fun.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Okay, So let's talk about last night The Victoria's Secret
Fashion Show. I know keV was watching. You were excited
to see WNBA star Angel Reese Olympian and Sunny Lee
walk in the runway with some legendary Victoria's Secret Angels
like Irena Shaik, Ashley Graham, Adriana Lima Bella and Gig
hadd walked the runway. Emily Redditkowski it was. It was

(01:33):
a show for sure, and I know a lot of
people were commenting on they were back to the sexy
after several years of trying to be quote unquote woke
was the word that everybody was using. But Carol g Madison,
Beer and Missy Elliott got rave reviews. They were among
the performers at last night.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
So where do you watch The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show?
Like where do you get it? Is it on TWA Highlight?

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Because I was going to say that's where I saw
it was on social media and people posting it. But like,
is it not something that they carry live or do
they pre tape it and like show it on a special?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
No Prime Video had it. I'm sure you could go
back and watch it.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
It's somewhere Okay, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
I'd be interested to see how the audience is as
far as watching that if it now that they know
that this is back to the sexy on the whole deal,
like what are the what are the the numbers? Like?

Speaker 4 (02:26):
Yeah, the one game suspension of Detroit line Brian Branch
upheld yesterday.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
He tried to appeal it. It didn't work.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
The hearing officer was Jordy Nelson, who was jointly appointed
by the NFL and the NFL Players Association, and then
NFL VP of Football Operations, John Runyon wrote in a
letter to Branch explaining the suspension. He writes, your aggressive
non football act was entirely unwarranted, posed a serious risk

(02:56):
of injury, and clearly violated the standards of conduct and
sportsmanship expected of NFL players. So you will not see
Brian Brian Branch, excuse me on the field for the
Monday night game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
You know, I was talking to Tony Travado. He loved
our call out the other day where said Kev's going
to pay Brian Branch's thing. He goes, wouldn't that be
a great radio promotion that you pay for it? And
I said, it would only be great if we actually
could pay it and get him to play like that
would be huge, you know. As a morning radio show,
we tried to like do some of the biggest promotions,

(03:30):
and I said, it would be awesome if we could
like pay off somebody in the league to let him
get out there.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
But but yeah, Brian branch Man has lost a lot
of money over the years being aggressive.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah, he'll be missed.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Have you guys seen any photos or videos of Rachel
Ray later?

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Do you know who? Rachel Ray is?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Celebrity chef off the talk show Right Too.

Speaker 4 (03:53):
Usual, on Food Network, a bunch of shows. So she
made a rare public appearance yesterday as fan concerned and
grows over her recent very odd behavior.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
Did a taping of the Drew Barrymore.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Show, and I, legit did not realize that it was
Rachel Ray when I saw the photos on page six
until I read the headline. So she started sparking concern
among fans. Earlier this summer, at an event for her
newly released gin line, there's like one hundred people in
line at this liquor store in New York City. She

(04:27):
shows up almost a half an hour late. Everybody noticed
right away that something seemed off. She was slurring her words,
just acting really really strange, which has happened several times
during her TV appearances as of late as well. So
I mean, trying to be compassionate here. You hope that
she's okay, but it very much seems like there is
something going on.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Is anything with the gin where she's like tasting it
during the show?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Funny, it's definitely been floating as a rumor.

Speaker 3 (04:58):
I actually just read a story Wry about being ozebic drunk?
Have you heard about that a lot?

Speaker 2 (05:02):
And I don't know if maybe you're on diet shots,
but they say that people are, you know, going on
these weight loss shots drinking less than they ever drank,
but the drinks that they are drinking are causing them
to actually start slurring their words or be drunk when
they're doing it.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
It's almost kind of.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Like drunker than they normally. They're like light light extra, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And they say that their blood alcohol levels are actually
kind of okay, they're a little higher than they would
normally be if they weren't on it, but they're feeling
the effects of being drunk because of it. But I
don't know if that's her. I would like to just
get her as a guest and let's see what happens.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Absolutely yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
And I just want to mention this because I saw
it going around last night a day late. I think
Eminem popping by Mom's Spaghetti in downtown Detroit.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
This was the night before last.

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Because I think he checked out the Adam Sandler show
at LCA and Adam Sandler was in town, right.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I saw it by the Joesay, yeah, he was. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
For last he had Kevin, Uh, what's his nuts? The
guy from I'm King of Queen's Kevin James. Hey, yeah,
Kevin James says, as one of his guys. I got
it was so cool to see Eminem signing autographed to
sign some kid's arm.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I thought that that was pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
And you see our Katrina are the official hairdresser of
the Mojo in the Morning show. Katrina there was Katrina
was there. She's uh was hanging in the back of
the picture, which was pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (06:22):

listen later catch up on the podcast on the Free
I heart really a.

Speaker 3 (06:29):

the morning. He's dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
All right, where you get a winner here? Who is
the winner? Is it?

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Is it Loreina that's.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
On the phone with us right now that wants to go, Yes,
then you shall. Congratulations, your wish is my command.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
You're a winner.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Oh my god's you so happy? She's upsessed with Conan Gray?
Oh my god, that's awesome. That's awesome. How about you?
Who you obsessed with? Nellie would be my guy. I've
seen him before and he's amazing.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
I love it, Nelly, shine down. Conan Gray, big X
the plug all at our jingle Ball December the ninth.
You're also qualified for a new car, so you could
be driving home in a EV nine, which is a
Kia from Summit Place, Kia Great Dealerships in the Detroit area.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Congratulations, you're in Toledo, I hear.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
We can't wait for you to come up to the show.
It's gonna be fun.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
We're so excited too.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
We got a special in studio guest this morning, just
kind of hanging out with us today. He's a former
NHL player. And don't be mad at me because I
don't know hockey at all. Literally, I actually got excited.
My friends invited me to a game last night. I
couldn't go as my anniversary, and I got excited to
know that they all went and I didn't. I thought

(07:50):
the Wings were kind of like not doing that great.
They've got a three game winning streak.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
Going on right now.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
They beat the Florida Panthers last night, which was huge.
But Eric, you played in the NHL, played for what
the Rangers, the maple leaves the Wild?

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Is that what I'm saying?

Speaker 5 (08:07):
That's correct?

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Yeah, and now you're a limo owner. I'm the fun
Doctor Detroit. Now, Yeah, a fun doctor.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
He is the owner of rock Stars Limousines.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Eric, how do you pronounce your last name? Reads?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Eric reads? What made you decide to do this? What
made you decide to branch off in your retirement and
do this?

Speaker 3 (08:25):
Well?

Speaker 5 (08:25):
I got like a grade ten education from playing pro hockey.
I was pretty good at partying. Yeah, you know when
I came back from hockey, you know, like you go
into the real world. No one's used to doing that. Yeah,
and drank for two and a half years and found
some stuff out that hey, you got to have, you know,
it's going out more than it's coming in. And then
I had a buddy that was an industry I got one.

(08:47):
I'm like, I'm just going to take one, and then
I got sixteen. Now, why so when you got the one?
Would you be the drivers? I was the booker the
driver at the wedding. I was reached the driver because
they would never tip the owner. I couldn't be Eric
the drive because I had to have like a stage name.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
Oh yeah, okay, wait a second, So when you're doing this,
did anybody ever recognize you as being an NHL player?

Speaker 3 (09:07):
Think of me like the B squad?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:10):
I was never like the top echelon player. Okay, but
I would you know, fill the role? You know, I
would basically were the enforcer. Yeah, somebody mess around. I
wouldn't fight the big guys, but i'd fight everybody in
between there.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Okay, all right, I like this.

Speaker 2 (09:24):
And so one limo leads to a bunch and now
rockstar limousines in the Detroit area right where you guys
based on it placed out of Plymouth, Michigan. Okay, and
what kind of what kind of vehicles we got here?
We got everything, got escalades, we got navigators, what.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Do we got.

Speaker 5 (09:38):
We do not do the car service. We're big trucks,
like yeah, stretch limousine Sprinters. I got five Mercedes Sprinters
and we got eight eight like twenty four to thirty
five past party.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Bus people do you have, like like what bachelor parties,
bachelorette parties, weddings, things like that.

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Everything we do. We do the concerts, the weddings, homes,
homecomings right now this homecoming season, the Michigan Michigan State
game coming up here on the twenty fifth of October.
So any kind of event you need transportation that you
don't want to drink and drive to. I tell people, hey,
four or five drinks is what you're gonna pay for
at the bar or whatever. Probably fifteen minutes a drink. Basically,
the ride's free.

Speaker 2 (10:13):
When you call me, well, yeah, I'm gonna say this.
I want to see your fleet. According to has sign,
you got a you got a great set of limos
and uh and we we need we need them because
we don't like drinking and driving. We want to get
ourselves into trouble.

Speaker 3 (10:26):
Absolutely, how did you land with rock stars limousine? Like
I'm sure there were a bunch of names tossed around.
How'd you land with that one?

Speaker 2 (10:32):
You know?

Speaker 3 (10:32):
It was party like a rock star.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Oh we said that, and I'm like, let's throw a
Z on there just to make it, you know, show
my grade ten education. That's great, Yeah, it kind of,
it's kind of it's kind of branded right now too.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Well, we're gonna check you guys out. Where do you
go online to get rockstar limiting rockstars?

Speaker 5 (10:49):
Limo dot com with.

Speaker 3 (10:50):
A Z with the Z.

Speaker 2 (10:53):

more Mojo in the Morning. Don't go anywhere. More is
coming up next.

Speaker 3 (10:59):

wake the leaves into my neighbor's yard. This is Mojo
