Speaker 2 (00:09):
Mojo.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
He's amazing live.

Speaker 4 (00:13):
Mojo.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
You don't think God, Let me take you back to
the beginning.

Speaker 5 (00:27):
Already.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're a
Dodo ahead.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Today is the eve of Megan retiring from radio and
walking away from radio.

Speaker 6 (00:45):
It retiring because I didn't think I would ever retire
in my life. So like, I like the idea of
retiring this. He yells, that's pretty cool and youthful.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
They might be the only thirty year old that never's
ever retired from a career. I don't know how many
how many thirty year olds that just say I want
to get out of the career. I'm going to retire
and walk away, But I'm still working. I'm still going.

Speaker 7 (01:09):
You just walked into the studio for the for the
last time. By the way, not weird to start a show.
At least you'll be in and out today, Mathew. But
you get to read sire and walk out without the
bad knees.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Yes, that's good. You're the Calvin Johnson. You're the Calvin
Johnson Barry Sanders of And.

Speaker 7 (01:27):
The problem is you still have to I don't know
when you start your new job, but you still have
to a job to wake up for. It's on a
point in the next couple of weeks, so much said.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
She said she was gonna taunt you every time that
we're out of the studios at like noon on a
sunny day, if.

Speaker 7 (01:42):
You're inside, I'm gonna say, guess what I'm doing right now.
It's noon and I am out on a patio having
a margarita because I'm done with work for the day.

Speaker 8 (01:51):
What about you?

Speaker 6 (01:51):
And I'll text you at nine am and be like,
I just woke up for work, but we don't know
what Meghan's going to do.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
And what if Meghan works from home and every day
it's a market.

Speaker 8 (02:01):
It's true.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I think about it.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
Mojo in the morning show, Kevin, listen to this guy,
So Kevin snuck a girl in last night while his
son Josiah was at the house. No, man, you said
that usually you kind of keep the girls away when
you have Josiah, and I.

Speaker 9 (02:25):
Did the same thing last night. No one will meet
Josiah until she has a ring on her finger. I'm
not playing to introduce you to my son. Game and
he falls in love with someone or whatever the case
they being in, that person gets stripped from his life. Yeah,
I mean that's never happened outside of Sharil. But that's
not a pattern I want to start to create. But

(02:45):
I told, oh girl, listen, I got twenty twenty five minutes,
pull up, handle some work, and then we gotta go up.
All right, that's romantic. I mean, you know it didn't
have to be. Not every session is romantic. How did
she get in? Did you sneak in a window?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Or she came through the.

Speaker 9 (03:04):
Front door these heels all she was like, take off
my boots. I said, that's not necessary, Wade, get the
booties for you.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
You don't want did not you? You don't even let
her just come into the house and walk through your
house with her? It wouldn't. It wasn't that type of experience.
How close is your bedroom to Josiah was upstairs? What
if Josiah though, came down, Like what if he couldn't
sleep and he was looking for you?

Speaker 9 (03:31):
No, it wasn't gonna happen. No, No, he was. He
was upstairs on roadblocks. I know, I had a pretty
good chance of him being locked in. This is very
has very teenage vibes to me for some reason. Has
anybody ever done this? Has anybody ever done this?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Is this something that a lot of single parents have
to do, like if they're in relationships where they have
to sneak the the guy or the girl into the house.
She's snucky in.

Speaker 9 (03:54):
She and she had pretty high heels, and it was
very funny because she did the actual like motion of
trying to sneak in one foot in front of the
other one hand. That was a little joky viob. So
she snuck in, came straight to the front room, and
snuck out. You guys spent time together, and then that
was it. She loves you as a pleasure.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
How long was the entire experience max? Thirty minutes? That's it? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (04:20):
Was it she wanting to come over or you wanted her?
I mean the both of us. Okay, we have been
we have been talking for a while. This is somebody
that I've had an experience with prior to but we uh,
this is one of the girls. I said, I cut
off a while ago and I was just fiening, so
we both were.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
So she just came over.

Speaker 8 (04:36):
Wait, so did you say Josiah was awake and un
robot yeah, he wasn't even sleeping.

Speaker 9 (04:40):
Oh yeah, no, no, he wasn't sleeping. And it did
part into my mim like what if he does come down?
But I know y'all know how danger kind of makes
it a little bit more sexy.

Speaker 8 (04:48):
What did you send to the group chat last night?
That was a different experience?

Speaker 5 (04:51):
Okay?

Speaker 10 (04:51):
Sorry?

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Oh really I thought it was the same thing. We'll
save that for tomorrow.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
Okay, all right, because I want to know.

Speaker 7 (04:57):
You send us a picture of something and I think
I know what it is, but I'm not positive, So
we'll talk about it tomorrow.

Speaker 8 (05:03):
You're gonna want to be here for this conversation.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So that had nothing to do with this girl. That
was another girl, correct, Okay, we won't Yeah, then we
won't get into it. This guy, I thought, remember, he's
taking a break. I heard that, and then then I stopped.

Speaker 8 (05:17):
Said how long side break was going to be?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I like it standing hold on? Five eight six By
the way, eight four four Mojo live eight four four
six six five six fy four eight If you've ever
snuck somebody in, I'd love to know. Uh, you know,
first off, how many single parents have to do this
with their kids? Five eight six says keV. I just
did that last week with a guy that I've been

(05:39):
talking to for the last month. I you know what,
I I could see that, Like, if you're a single
mom and there's no way that you can go and
get out on dates, especially maybe you have you know,
full custody or most custody, I would think that it's
got to be very I would guess that that has
to be kind of difficult, you know what I mean, Like,

(06:01):
what do you do? But what if you do if
your kids having a nightmare, Like what if all of
a sudden, there in the nightmare is their mom's getting
laid in the bedroom? You gotta go hide.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (06:11):
I didn't have any contingency plans, but I think the
only thing I thought of, if I had just heard
just like coming down the stairs, was the way stop.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
Joe, wait right there, hold on, Joe, I got I
got your birthday present waiting. I got a surprise down Yeah,
oh god, I do have to tell you that.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
I've you know, watched the movies all the time where
you see the people like that have like the person
in the room and the husband comes home. That's what
I'm picturing, and they you hide behind curtains or throw
in the closet, yeah, like something like that, or you
have to jump out the window and it ends up
being some kind of crazy.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:49):
Like you see those stories all the time where it's like,
go down the balcony, Dad's coming right right, I'm a
teenage girl.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
By the way, this is in the two four eight.
Typical Kevin.

Speaker 8 (07:02):
I like that typical Kevin, just like his mom says it, keV.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Yeah, do you think your mom? Are we doing this
topic at this time? Because Mom's probably not listening and
you're not going to get a call from her. She'll
hear everything I could. The real culport is my grandmother.
She listens to the entre do she Yeah, I'm starting
to realize that. Does she download the podcast and have
a podcast on She's a lot grandmama, my grandmama. Yes,
shout out to her. We might have to have a

(07:29):
conversation with uh with Kevin. Let's have an intervention four
one nine. We got to call this person. I've done it.
Uh son staying at friends wanted to come home. Oh,
come on, let's talk to that person. I want to
know if I want to get that person on the air.
Let's see here? What the here? She is? Amy? You there?

Speaker 11 (07:49):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
So you're the texture right? Yes?

Speaker 9 (07:53):
I am.

Speaker 12 (07:54):
I had my uh uh, you know, newly separated from
my person I would with and I had my boyfriend over,
and my son was supposed to be spending the night
at a friend. He called says he can't sleep, he
wants to come home.

Speaker 13 (08:08):
So I had to tell him that my friend.

Speaker 12 (08:11):
Had a flat tire and was going to sleep in
my bed, and I slept on the couch.

Speaker 14 (08:16):
And it was like it was two am I could.

Speaker 12 (08:20):
I mean, I don't think I think he was wiser.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
I think he yeah, he ain't dumb, right, you didn't
raise no guy. Is it tough when you're a single
mom and you're trying to to you know, fornicate, I
mean when you're trying to date.

Speaker 12 (08:37):
Well, absolutely, especially when you know you're in a situation
where your child can potentially go back and tell the
ex what is going on in the house, and it's
like there's no there's no boundary, and you can't say,
you know, don't tell him, because now they want to
run and make a billboard and tell them.

Speaker 13 (08:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Don't you feel like a teenager all over again?

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Though?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
When that happens.

Speaker 15 (09:01):
Absolutely.

Speaker 12 (09:02):
I never even did that when I was a teenager.
So I'm like, I'm paying the bills and I'm having
to sneak around, right, that is.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
That is true?

Speaker 16 (09:10):
What is going on?

Speaker 2 (09:11):
Yeah? I have friends of mine that just hire babysitters
to go and hook up. Like they'll hire a babysitter,
make the babysitter take the kids to like Dave and
Busters or a movie, just so that they can bring
that person over. And it basically is just a pure
sex section that they have with each other because they
don't get intimate.

Speaker 12 (09:30):
Now that that child is going to be eighteen in September,
so he's like, I know what's going on.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Well you take care of yourself. Okay, thank you too.

Speaker 15 (09:43):
We will miss your ma game.

Speaker 5 (09:44):
Oh things, baby, love you all right, love you?

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Love you? Oh I thought she was done. I'm sorry,
I thought she was done.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
You just hate it when people love me.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
I don't because I love you the most of Yeah.
All right, Uh, your mom, I think could be listening.

pretty good show. You remember so and T Payne?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Chris Crocker made his fame in This Year the movie
and I don't know who You're lucky? Who was in
Good Luck? Chuck? Your favorite? Dane Cook?

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Dane Cook?

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Where's Dane Cook?

Speaker 18 (11:42):
Been?

Speaker 4 (11:44):
Billionaire?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
Who had been the street cheese?

Speaker 2 (11:46):
It's that redhead. Didn't he get canceled for a while
and then he kind of came back.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
No by his brother. His brother stole all of his money.

Speaker 8 (11:56):
It was behavior.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Yeah, Like I do remember that Casey from Finley, Ohio?
What year was it?

Speaker 4 (12:04):
There you go?

Speaker 2 (12:07):
What was it? They gave it away? The song, the
movie or the Chris Crocker Chris Crocker, Oh yeah, yeah,
what was that show? There was a show that was
like all the Internet sensations. They went through all these
people like that guy they did the you are so
dumb really dumb, like that guy Andrew Dobs or Andrew Dodson. Yeah,
but it wasn't like the Surreal Life. They did something

(12:29):
where they went and looked at what their lives have
been since they became a viral sensation. We're gonna set
you up with tickets to see Nelly Job Rule in Eve. Congratulations,
Thank you, so much. Oh my god, have the best time.
Thank you, hang on one sech great talking to you.

Speaker 19 (12:47):
You and your new man are so happy, which is
why he's dming his ex girlfriend behind your back.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Another war of the roseses after seven on Mojo in
the Morning.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
So this time tomorrow will finally get our microphones right.
When we're out on our broadcast, it always is the
Dirty on the thirty. We have the first breaks. Always
this the worst break right where things are like, okay, guys,
it's not working, it's not working, a little bumpy, and
then by the Dirty we'll be like, oh okay, now
we're on the air, this is good, and we'll be

(13:19):
giving away a car then probably I'm guessing after the
throwback throw down tomorrow. So would you like to be
that person that wins it? Eight four to four Mojo
Live eight four four sixty six five six five four
eight ninety fifth caller is going to qualify. We've got
only four qualifications left on our show this morning, so
you got to be one of those people. You want

(13:39):
to win a brand new car. This is from Moran Chevrolet.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
In the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Sad to see this.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
I'm getting alerts from my home ring Cam. But a
restaurant by my house is on fire right now. The
four Can Pint in Waterford off of Castle Elizabeth Road is,
according to my neighborhood Ring Camp Lessons on fire.

Speaker 9 (14:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
I hope that nobody is injured or anything like that.
But that's always it's always weird. Why how could this happen?
Like it's six something in the morning, But yeah, what's
going on? Shannon Well starting off the dirty with some
tragic news. The business partner and former agent of NFL
great John Elway died yesterday from injuries he suffered when
he fell out of a golf cart that was being

(14:27):
driven by the Hall of Famer Jeff Sperbeck, who repped
Elway during his time with the Denver Broncos, hit his
head on basically some asphalt on Saturday. He was leaving
a party after the group attended Stagecoach earlier in the day.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
He had been on life support since then.

Speaker 7 (14:44):
The death is being investigated by the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
John Elway releasing a statement yesterday, part of which said,
I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the passing of
my close friend business partner and agent. There are no
words to truly exc best express the profound sadness I
feel with a sudden loss of someone who has meant

(15:05):
so much to me, and the fact that he was
driving that golf.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
Cart just a terrible, terrible tragedy.

Speaker 7 (15:12):
During a live stream this week, Kanye West ranting about
his custody battle with Kim Kardashian, I guess Kim, and
I've heard this from several different people, is thinking about
cutting off access to their four kids, and he is
very clearly not happy about that.

Speaker 20 (15:28):
Oh go get these kids, bro on, talk of to
the lawyers. They get to the place, Lon lose. I'm
to get used to that set my kids here to
be okay, and I'm not here to y'all. Id I'm
the leader. I'm not here to the worse, and I
have to lead off saying house supposed to lead, y'all.
If I don't got my kids with me to continue

(15:49):
what we're doing.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
I didn't got.

Speaker 7 (15:54):
By the way, if you're going, why is he so muffled?
He was wearing like a mask or not. He's a
broke over his face. But a source of telling me
Kim's priority right now is the well being in safety.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
Of the kids.

Speaker 7 (16:04):
As Kanye continues to share some disturbing sentiments in his
music and on social media, my friend's got to.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
Stop sending me the Kanye cousins memes. I keep getting
like song, They the internets, the the tik toks of
the world have been making these parodies of the Kanye
song and of Kanye videos. And it ain't funny. I'll
be honest. Some of them are actually kind of funny.

(16:32):
Will say. Some of them are actually very humorous. Come on,
I know I don't see them. If you're not a
kind of fan, you're probably laughing a little bit though.

Speaker 9 (16:40):
But on this situation though, because obviously we only see
what we see and we don't get to see the
full picture.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
As someone who has had their child.

Speaker 9 (16:49):
Taken from them for more than a day, more than
a week, more than a month, it does something to you.
And we have no idea how long these kids were
taken away from Kanye before he really started ramping up
and going off.

Speaker 5 (17:02):
Do you think he's going off since before they had kids?

Speaker 2 (17:05):
But don't you ain't taken away because of all the
craziness that he Again, I think there's level of levels
of going off.

Speaker 9 (17:14):
I mean, we could say he been going off since
he went on stage and talked about Taylor, and that
was before he had kids.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
But I think that.

Speaker 9 (17:22):
I don't think he's been able to see his kids
for quite some time, and I'm just not safe. Well well,
I mean, I'm not going to have a debate on
whether or not he's not safe or not. But I
think that the recent see of Kanye, how we've seen
it go from like zero to a thousand, Like yeah,
to the point He's always been a little quote unquote wild,

(17:42):
always said things, always been out there, But I think
to the point right now where you're getting all this
Nazi stuff when you're getting like the the when I
say the fullest extremes, because I think it does have
something to do with him not being able to see
his kids. I do hope he gets helped, which doesn't
work in his favor. Yeah, yeah, that's what's going on.
That what's the next?

Speaker 7 (18:00):
And lastly, it is the latest craze for high school
seniors who are about to go off to college bed parties.
It is all over TikTok right now. And if you're
going what the heck is a bed party? This sounds
kind of weird. Well, parents have soon to be college
freshmen who've been accepted into their dream school by blankets
and bedding for that college that their kids going to, Streamers,

(18:22):
balloon arches, merch They decorate the whole bed and area
and bedroom in some cases invite family and friends over.
Everybody brings a gift, and it's over the top insanity,
all so they can get a picture for the gram
or TikTok and some of these parties. Bed parties are
costing tens of thousands of dollars.

Speaker 21 (18:44):
Even Real House Live stars Heather Dubreaux and Teresa Judais
going all out on their daughter's rooms.

Speaker 3 (18:51):
That's right, I had the biggest sweet booth.

Speaker 22 (18:54):
Event planners Tera Eatonbiskovich is used to pulling on all
the stops for weddings, baby hit and even corporate events.

Speaker 3 (19:02):
After her daughter, I'm will you expected into college through
her a bed party? Tell me a little bit about
this idea of a bed party.

Speaker 23 (19:09):
They set up the bed with anywhere from pillows, comforters
to the merchandise from the schools well colors, and they
mix the bed all crazy and fun. It's a way
to show you're proud of them, and it's a great
way to celebrate them. My daughter was away and was
coming home in two days.

Speaker 5 (19:30):
So I was like, I have to do this now,
so you planned it completely surprised and she never asked
for I don't even know if she had heard of
it before. And when she came home, she was completely surprised.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
What's the most youth thing someone would ask you to spend?

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Rather?

Speaker 8 (19:43):
I mean, it could, it could go anywhere. We're talking
about five K, twenty k, thirty K, I would say
up to twenty K twenty k for a person.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
Comfort.

Speaker 5 (19:55):
I mean, listen to throw.

Speaker 8 (19:56):
Any party in this town, especially, can't you under ten?

Speaker 2 (20:00):
How come my parents never did that for me?

Speaker 7 (20:03):
Although was more and I were talking about this this morning,
and now that I know where my step son's going
to school, I'm like, I mean, yeah, maybe.

Speaker 8 (20:09):
I put a few balloons up.

Speaker 5 (20:10):
You know I love a balloon art.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
No, you maybe like, but you're the perfect person, I'm
telling you. When I saw this story right away, I
thought this is something that Shannon would.

Speaker 7 (20:22):
I love celebrating big moments in milestones, but I'm not
spending twenty thousand dollars That is craziness.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Get ready, well for Sofia.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
By the way, go green, Yeah, Green.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Is that and that's where he's That's where he's going.
That's awesome. Yeah, by the way, we got to Michigan States,
show up here.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
How love me?

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Well?

Speaker 2 (20:41):
How crazy is it going to be that? Shannon uh
and West Chelsea and I will be at parents weekends? Insane?

Speaker 8 (20:50):
You just said that and he's like, I changed my mind.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Hey, wait till Dad's day. Wes Oh God, be careful
on the steps at.

Speaker 7 (20:57):
Harper for all of today's kinds if I check it
out the podcast, there's Mojo in the Morning in the
free I heart ready aloud.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
This is something in the Dirty on the thirty. This
list is on our podcast now at Mojo in the
Morning dot com.

Speaker 2 (21:10):
Warth Roses coming up here next on the show. You're
gonna want to stick around for this one. Because her
boyfriend has been getting text messages from a number that
he claims to be a male business person, like a
customer of his, and she was really suspicious because he's

(21:31):
been really focused on this number when it comes in.
So she grabbed that number, called and a woman answered
the phone. In just a few moments, she'll explain the
confrontation that she had with that woman, and we're gonna
do a three way call War of the Roses. You
gotta stick around for It's.

This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (30:10):
Lie all right, it is Mojo in the Morning. We
are going to get to the War of the Roses.
If you think that you're being cheated, on text cheater
to nine five five zero zero and we will get
you on the Mojo in the Morning show Catching Cheaters.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
I'm proud of it.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
Get your home for Bore of the Roses on Mojo
in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
So, Chloe, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on you,
and it's because he keeps getting the same number text
in him a bunch of times. Yeah, and what is
the number saying? Can you read the text that are
coming in?

Speaker 27 (30:50):
No, So I can't see the messages the way that
the texts come in, but I can see the number
and I don't know it.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Yeah, have you said anything to him, like, what's going on?
Who's texting you?

Speaker 16 (31:05):
He's saying that it's a client.

Speaker 28 (31:08):
And he's in sales.

Speaker 2 (31:10):
You don't believe it.

Speaker 27 (31:13):
No, I called the member and it was a girl
who picked up when he had only told me that
this client was a guy. And I asked her if
she had a new relationship with my boyfriend or any
flirting and she said no.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Wait, so you think you called?

Speaker 2 (31:35):
You called the number and actually talked to what he
said is his client, and you said that you were
his girlfriend and you confronted her.

Speaker 27 (31:47):
Well, I asked if she had any relationship with him
or flirting, and she said, no, am I I I
just have this ceiling, and I get that.

Speaker 2 (31:55):
She come, she's not telling right up the bet.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
You know he's not telling the truth because he said
the client was a guy exactly, but.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
Still I can't believe it does. So did he confront
you about calling her or does he like what happened
after that?

Speaker 27 (32:15):
Nothing? Nothing happened, which is also what's weird.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Oh. I mean if that, well, if he's not cheating
on you and you just called up a female client
or some client and accuse them of something like that,
I would probably be passed and I would say something
yeah yeah. But if he's not saying anything to you,
then there's definitely something going on.

Speaker 27 (32:39):
Yeah. I just want them to call each other, and
I just really want to listen to how they interact.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
So, Kevin, what would you do if a girl did this?
Like if somebody grabbed your phone and started calling the
girl or the other numbers that are calling you or
texting you.

Speaker 9 (32:53):
I mean, hopefully the people who answered on another line
were exactly as I told her.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
They would be yeah, alright, okay, But would you be
pissed though, that she's that she's following up and making
that call potentially me. It just highlights that our relationship
isn't stable.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
But then that would fall on her and not on
you and your behaviors.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
We're going to do a three way call War of
the Roses, Chloe. We're going to dial up your boyfriend.
His name is Noah, and we're going to call that
number and we're going to see who answers this time?
What if it's a guy then answers. Maybe it was
a one time deal and somebody had answered the phone.
Let's find out. All right, we're the Roses three way

(33:40):
call here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Mute
your phone, all right, let's do it.

Speaker 29 (33:58):
Hello, Hello, who.

Speaker 10 (34:12):
Hey, it's me.

Speaker 17 (34:15):
Oh hey, what's up?

Speaker 4 (34:19):
Not much?

Speaker 13 (34:20):
How you doing?

Speaker 28 (34:22):
Okay?

Speaker 17 (34:24):
What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (34:27):
Good?

Speaker 13 (34:33):
That's kind that's going on?

Speaker 3 (34:37):
Not much.

Speaker 13 (34:43):
He just called to say not made Did I thought
you called me?

Speaker 2 (34:48):
No?

Speaker 26 (34:49):
He called me?

Speaker 17 (34:50):
Why Why would I ask who it is if I
called you?

Speaker 10 (34:54):
Oh my god, I'm so confused.

Speaker 17 (34:57):
H called a any like particular reason, just.

Speaker 13 (35:03):
Just to say hey, yeah, I guess yeah, for sure,
you're just thinking about me.

Speaker 30 (35:18):
I was.

Speaker 10 (35:21):
Definitely was.

Speaker 17 (35:24):
Man.

Speaker 10 (35:27):
Yeah, No, I definitely have not stopped thinking about you.

Speaker 2 (35:35):
Mean too, Yeah, what do you do right now?

Speaker 31 (35:46):
I'm just making some more calls and stuff, but like, yeah,
I probably should have come back to that, But I
I feel like a little wondering how our son called
each other.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
I'm kind of figure that out, Noah, Noah, maybe we
should actually just come right on and tell you what's
going on, just so that you can figure out a
way to get an answer to this. Okay, Noah, you

(36:20):
have no clue what's going on right now?

Speaker 4 (36:23):
Do you?

Speaker 26 (36:25):
How is this?

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Noah, this is the Mojo in the morning show, And
your girlfriend Chloe called us up because she wanted to
know what was going on between you and this girl
that you're talking to right now, and so she asked
us to call both of you guys up to see
what you sounded like when you guys had a conversation

(36:47):
with each other, and it sounds like there is something happening.
He hung up, and she just hung up. Chloe, when
you had a conversation with this girl that that he's

(37:09):
been talking to, did she sound like that when she
was talking to you or does she sound different to you?
Right now talking to him, because she sounded very flirty
with him.

Speaker 5 (37:22):
Yeah, she didn't sound like that with me, so she sounded.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
More just normal.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
Yeah, she just sounded like a person because when she.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Heard his voice is when she kind of changed her tone.
Oh yeah, she didn't she Yeah, hang hang on and
we will try to see if we get them back.
I don't think we ever do. But it's it's it's
tough to, uh to say and then let's, uh, let's
talk some more with you.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
Okay, okay, busted again.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
About that hanging on the bench is your home for
Boar of the Roses.

Speaker 3 (38:03):
Joined the discussion now eight four four Mojo Live.

Speaker 4 (38:10):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (38:14):
Mojo in the Morning wore the Roses. We just made
the call and did a three way call War of
the Roses to Chloe's boyfriend and the guy. Client will
put it in quotes. It turned out to be not
a guy. It turned out to be a girl. And
Chloe actually had called and already had kind of had

(38:36):
conversations with her and Chloe. Listeners are texting us right
now that are saying that you're out of line for
going in his phone and grabbing that phone number to call.
You're kidding, all right, I mean, I'll let you defend yourself.
You're you're I mean I thought it was a little
over the over the top two but obviously you want

(38:59):
to know that you're not get lied to. What do
you have to say.

Speaker 27 (39:03):
It's my relationship.

Speaker 10 (39:04):
We've been together for years, and I just.

Speaker 27 (39:09):
Clearly something was going on, and well, the methods may
not be that's the cold. Clearly there was something that
I clearly there was something going on enough that it
made it worth me calling.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah. I mean, honestly, I think that when you're in
a desperate time, you call those things.

Speaker 7 (39:35):
You do those things that you ordinarily, when you're in
your right mind, would not do. Yeah, I have been there,
but still it's.

Speaker 16 (39:47):
And you can clearly something was going on. Well, here's
clearly something's going on.

Speaker 6 (39:53):
Yeah, I mean, she sounded flirting, and to be Quie honest,
I don't think he sounded very flirty with her.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
He just came off a little bit confused.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
But I think where his red flag was was he
told you that it was a dude and it was
a girl, So he's clearly lying about it.

Speaker 5 (40:07):
But I didn't even get that much flirty vibes from him,
I did from her. Interesting, Well why did he hang up?

Speaker 32 (40:15):
Though?

Speaker 11 (40:15):
No?

Speaker 6 (40:15):
I agree, I mean, he's giving you the red flags,
but it wasn't as overt as I kind of was expecting.

Speaker 3 (40:23):
Yeah, hang on one second again, hang on Joe in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (40:30):
What uh?

Speaker 2 (40:31):
What's up? Scarlet?

Speaker 4 (40:33):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (40:33):
How you doing?

Speaker 11 (40:36):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Scarlet?

Speaker 4 (40:39):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Sorry about that?

Speaker 28 (40:42):
Did you guys notice the way she changed her voice
as see as she knew it was him.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Yeah, that was the flirty.

Speaker 28 (40:51):
That even changed her whole tone and everything.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
I thought he was flirty, though I think Megan Megan
maybe not as flirty as she was, but I thought
that he was kind of flirty with her too.

Speaker 6 (41:04):
I just think that sometimes when we hear these calls,
the guys get like they flip the switch right away
and they're like, h let me get it. It was
this woman that I'm into, whereas she flipped the switch
right away, and it felt like he like kind of
matched her and kind of didn't You don't think.

Speaker 7 (41:19):
He was still very confused about what had happened and
how they were, you know, calling each other.

Speaker 27 (41:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
I wasn't trying to be mean, but what I wanted
to say was he was just he came off dumber than.

Speaker 2 (41:30):
Flirtier when she said when he said something kind of
like I'm mindy or whatever, and she goes me too.
I think I can't think Yeah, me too.

Speaker 5 (41:41):
But she was prompting him because she was like, were
you thinking about me? You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (41:45):
Like, but remember, he's already guilty. He said that it
was a girl, or that it was a guy. Excuse me,
and it was a girl.

Speaker 2 (41:52):
Agreed, Don, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 13 (41:56):
Mojo.

Speaker 17 (41:56):
You interrupted way too soon.

Speaker 25 (41:58):
We didn't get enough information.

Speaker 33 (42:01):
There was.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Hey, well, here's the thing, Don, when you host your
own radio show one day, you can no, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
It's gone.

Speaker 25 (42:10):
And I would have kept them on the phone.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
He was about to hang up. He was getting ready
to hang up the phone. I have to anticipate that
because I'm gonna be quite honest with you. We do
these things all the time where we tape these things
and we can never get the person to pick up
the phone ever again the moment that I get disconnected
with them, so I have to be able to jump
on at the time that I think that it's about
to happen. So if it was way too early for you.

(42:34):
Go back and listen to it again, because if you
can sense that he was about to hang up.

Speaker 25 (42:39):
There was just nothing incriminating yet, just a little bit
of minor flirting. There's no proof.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Okay, wait, there's nothing incriminating over the fact he said
that this is a guide for worker that.

Speaker 25 (42:49):
Well, that is incriminating.

Speaker 13 (42:51):
But maybe they're just flirting.

Speaker 25 (42:52):
That doesn't mean anything going on.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Then there's nothing incriminating over the fact that he was
that they talked about how much they enjoyed being with
each other.

Speaker 16 (43:02):
I didn't hear that.

Speaker 25 (43:03):
I heard something about I miss you or something I'm
thinking about you.

Speaker 8 (43:06):
That was and he agreed he couldn't stop thinking about
her too.

Speaker 25 (43:11):
That's where you go, something that's going on.

Speaker 28 (43:14):
Maybe they just like each other.

Speaker 5 (43:15):
See, that's where I'm having I think they're crossing the line.

Speaker 6 (43:18):
I want it to be very clear. I don't think
this guy is innocent, but I don't know how far
it's gone.

Speaker 2 (43:24):
Let's go back and listen. I think exactly, Yes, hold on,
we're going to listen with you, don because hypercritical here
put her put her down as a text hypercritical, I'm
with you.

Speaker 4 (43:34):
Don.

Speaker 7 (43:36):
Also, if a male coworker calls me like aside from
you guys, because we, you know, talk all day long,
but like a.

Speaker 5 (43:44):
Salesperson, my first question is what do you need or like,
what's going on? It's not.

Speaker 7 (43:50):
We just don't dive into a very comfortable conversation. I'm
inquisitive about why the phone call is happening.

Speaker 10 (43:59):
I thought you called me.

Speaker 26 (44:02):
He called me?

Speaker 13 (44:04):
Why would I ask who it is if I called you?

Speaker 10 (44:08):
Oh my god, I'm so confused.

Speaker 17 (44:13):
They're called already like particular reasons just.

Speaker 13 (44:17):
To say, hey, yeah, I guess yeah, for sure, you're
just thinking about me.

Speaker 2 (44:31):
I was, Yeah, that's not flirty, that's not flirty.

Speaker 5 (44:34):
Done, I'm obligated.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
I got a boner just listening to him.

Speaker 6 (44:45):
Okay, okay, if you take out the fact that he
lied about this being a guy's phone number and it's
a girl, right, we all agree he lied about that,
and that is a red flag.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
Right, you take that out of this, and we call
this girl up.

Speaker 6 (45:00):
It seems like she's interested in him and he's awkwardly
matching her energy.

Speaker 5 (45:03):
Yeah, she's panting everything. I still think he's in the wrong.

Speaker 10 (45:08):
Definitely was yeah, yeah, no, I definitely have not stopped
thinking about you.

Speaker 2 (45:20):
I've not stopped thinking about you. Come on, don.

Speaker 34 (45:23):
Okay, they're a little.

Speaker 5 (45:26):
You guys. I just think I don't like about her.
She's the only defense I have.

Speaker 2 (45:33):
Just wants to complain about something today. You got it
out of your system.

Speaker 7 (45:36):
Now go have a good day, Go have a Seriously,
maybe you hadn't already lied about who this person was.

Speaker 8 (45:46):
I know, but I'm saying that's two dings, flirtiness and
the lie.

Speaker 5 (45:50):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
I'm going back to calls Stephanie.

Speaker 35 (45:52):
What's going on, guys, So listen my unprofessional opinion here.

Speaker 15 (45:59):
I've been done, and I believe this guy's one hundred
and ten percent guilty. I mean, if he had any
respect for his wife, first off, and he wouldn't have
said that that was a male phone number, absolutely not.
And second because he as soon as he was confused
about how they can connect it on the phone, he
would have cut that off.

Speaker 35 (46:19):
Yeah, straight, he would have cut that off.

Speaker 10 (46:22):
Rite it down way.

Speaker 15 (46:23):
Look, I don't know how you got old of me.

Speaker 35 (46:24):
I guess you shouldn't talk to you.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
It sounds like it sounds like they talk a lot.
It sounds like there's a lot of conversation going on.
It's not just a text exchange between the other.

Speaker 15 (46:32):
Thing is what has he done to lead her on
or make her believe that he was interested, to make
her that interested. I understand it's a workplace brush, but
that is not a workplace crush on anything.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
Yeah. I wonder if they even work together, to be
honest with you, I don't even think that they probably do.
It's probably some girl that he met somewhere else. What's up, Jessica?

Speaker 30 (46:55):
Oh hey, I might have had my radio to low
and miss her, but I thought someone like I thought
she said miss you, I miss you in there somewhere,
But she might have said me too. But in that case,
they were discussing thinking about each other all the time,
and either way, you.

Speaker 5 (47:16):
Don't think about your co workers all the time.

Speaker 36 (47:19):
Even if he was feeling awkward, that continued after he
responded yes to her.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Yeah, it definitely. And I go on to say this
that I wonder who this girl is, and I wonder
if they even do work together, are co workers or
this is any kind of client. I think this is
just a girl that's a hookup. I really do, Whitney,
what's up?

Speaker 37 (47:43):
I just want to say for the people that said,
he didn't do anything incriminating if.

Speaker 29 (47:48):
You could give cheeters just say that, because.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
He is definitely genie.

Speaker 5 (47:53):
I think when.

Speaker 37 (47:54):
Everyone's saying that he's not flirting much, if you really
listen to.

Speaker 28 (47:59):
The call, he was suspicious from JOMP.

Speaker 37 (48:02):
So I think with him being suspicious, it kind of
set back him being so flirty because he kept saying, well,
how did we get on.

Speaker 13 (48:09):
The phone, how did you call me?

Speaker 37 (48:11):
Of course you have to remember his girlfriend already called
the girl, so they already know a little bit that's
something going.

Speaker 29 (48:18):
So she was already like, I.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Think what was going on. I think that's interesting that
she confronted her in that that didn't become an issue
in this relationship. Jacqueline, what's up?

Speaker 38 (48:30):
Hey, good morning you guys. I just want to say
to the caller with who was a special little boyfriend,
good for her for trusting her and things because someone
saying she crossed the line.

Speaker 17 (48:41):
Whatever.

Speaker 38 (48:42):
When it comes to this stuff, if you're committed to
someone and they're cheating on you and you're suspicious, you've
got to follow through. And she's really smart and I
give her credit.

Speaker 28 (48:50):
That guy's a douchebag.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Yeah, thank you. I appreciate you. Jackie.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
You literally said us said.

Speaker 2 (48:59):
You're still there. You muted your phone with your cheek.
Oh now it's just got you. Okay, they're a Jacqueline. Okay, nothing.
You sound like you have a cough? There are you? Okay?

Speaker 29 (49:16):
Oh?

Speaker 15 (49:17):
I did for a second.

Speaker 38 (49:18):
I'm okay, it's the seasonal allergy stuff.

Speaker 39 (49:20):
But I love you.

Speaker 3 (49:22):
We love you too, we love you too.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
Hang out in second, let me grab one last one.
They've been on hold for a long time, Sandra, last call.
What's up?

Speaker 3 (49:30):
First time?

Speaker 26 (49:31):
Long time?

Speaker 2 (49:34):
I'm so glad I picked you up? What's going on?

Speaker 40 (49:37):
I want to say, there's definitely something going on. When
he said when she said, are you thinking to me?
And he said I definitely was, And she was like
me too, Why if they were just friends, something happened
all her all her red flags and her feelings inside
were right.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
I'm jealous of that guy. Like all the time, I'm
thinking to myself, this guy's got literally this girl thinking
of him. I mean, what guys don't want to have
a girl thinking of you.

Speaker 7 (50:03):
And again, if somebody said that to you and there
was no romantic relationship with there, you'd be like, uh.

Speaker 2 (50:11):
It would make you feel like something's going on. Yeah,
all right, well there you go. Were the Roses. If
you missed it, I would suggest you go check out
the podcast up on Mojo in the Morning and then
check the video out on TikTok. Make sure that you're
following us uh Mojo in the Morning and of course
channel nine five five in Detroit where you can find
all the War of the Roses tiktoks.

Speaker 3 (50:31):
But the second date update, this is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
All right, just three more chances to qualify here on
our show for a brand new car. It is fine.
The fob. If I didn't find the fob after this
many weeks, you know what I would do. I would
try to figure out how to get a new fob.
Can you get a new fob if you lose your
poss ye?

Speaker 4 (50:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Does it? Yeah? I like I will say that that
would be like the Panicky of Panicky if I like
lost the fobs, I wish we would get rid of
fobs and have everything just be with our phone.

Speaker 13 (51:07):
Same.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Yeah, some cars, I think on the Tesla's.

Speaker 8 (51:11):
Again, so I can actually do it? Oh no, I don't.

Speaker 7 (51:14):
I can't start my car though I can lock, unlock
and like, yeah, yeah, I started from Afar, But I don't.

Speaker 2 (51:18):
Think shavy app is the greatest app. I use it
for my tahoe. The problem though, is if you don't
have the key, can't move away? All right? Eight four
to four Mojoe Live eight four four six six five
six five four eight. We're going to be at Morane
Chevrolet tomorrow giving away this car and you should qualify.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
Now the Mornings Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
Shannon, what's going? How is Lucy's big performance last night?

Speaker 5 (51:41):
It was so good to you guys.

Speaker 8 (51:43):
It was her final music concert of elementary school.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
Oh my gosh, I know.

Speaker 5 (51:48):
They did ban in the Mirror, by the way is one.

Speaker 8 (51:49):
Of their songs.

Speaker 5 (51:50):
It was so dan cute. Yes, did it as it was?

Speaker 7 (51:54):
Harry Styles was so good your music teachers, I said
to her.

Speaker 5 (51:59):
As it was, he so cute.

Speaker 2 (52:01):
Did the kids all have like the greatest time because
they were doing it? Like do they have like fun
and stuff?

Speaker 7 (52:08):
Oh gosh, yeah, Lucy was so into it. There was
choreography for every every word of every song. And that girl, man,
she knew her stuff. Now Smith's is in a couple
of weeks, I think, I asked him yesterday. When is
your concert, Bubby?

Speaker 2 (52:21):
And he goes mmmm.

Speaker 7 (52:22):
He will stand there and do nothing and roll his
ice the entire time. They're so drastically different.

Speaker 2 (52:27):
That's so funny.

Speaker 8 (52:28):
First grade, fifth grade, couldn't be more different.

Speaker 2 (52:30):
It's the best, all right? What's going on in the
dirty so?

Speaker 7 (52:32):
Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is calling out
CBS Sunday Morning for what he says was a selectively
edited interview and that created a false narrative about his girlfriend,
Jordan Hudson controlling the conversation.

Speaker 41 (52:49):
Football legend Bill Belichick is revealing new details about his
relationship with twenty four year old Jordan Hudson. Seventy three
year old coach said he and Hudson share both a
personal and professional relationship. It comes after Hudson interrupted this
recent CBS interview.

Speaker 21 (53:04):
I've never been too worried about what everybody else. Thanks,
just try to do what I feel like is best
for man and what's right.

Speaker 3 (53:10):
How did you guys meet not talking about this?

Speaker 2 (53:14):
No?

Speaker 41 (53:15):
Belichick says Hudson was not deflecting any specific question or topic,
but simply doing her job to ensure the interview stayed
on track. Belichick claims he expressed to CBS he wanted
the conversation to focus on his new book, but the
network says they agreed to a wide ranging interview with
no preconditions or limitations. Hudson has become a regular at

(53:36):
practices at events at the University of North Carolina since December,
when the school hired Belichick as football coach. According to
The Athletic, UNC was supposed to be the first college
team ever profiled on the Hitch show Hard Knocks, but
the show reportedly pulled out because of concern about Hudson's
involvement after she referred to herself as COO of belichick productions.

(53:57):
The news getting mixed reaction from Belichick's former play.

Speaker 22 (54:00):
When you look at this situation and you say, oh,
this is his girlfriend jumping in, I think that's unfair.
I think she's actually working with Coach Belichick in the
professional world.

Speaker 42 (54:09):
I think the UNC Carolina tar Hills shed consider consider
firing Bill Belichick.

Speaker 6 (54:15):
Can I tell you my favorite comment I saw yesterday
was she's pretending to run the show. It gives off
Blake Lively vibes.

Speaker 9 (54:25):
Wow, do we know this girl's background at all? We
said that you have one out of college. I don't
know they've got a college for they.

Speaker 8 (54:33):
Met on an airplane, Yeah, in an airplane.

Speaker 9 (54:35):
But that's what I mean, Like if she's in this
managerial position, she's COO of the production company, Like did
she go to school for marketing or I mean if
that's the case, and I can understand why, but if not,
then obviously she even.

Speaker 7 (54:50):
Then I feel like it's a little it's like too
close to home or something that would be like West
acting as my agent.

Speaker 8 (54:56):
I don't know, like if that's cool.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
His kids are not happy what he was doing, so
so Belichick's actual biological children, I guess, are not happy
about this.

Speaker 7 (55:07):
I saw his daughter in law come out and she's
been pretty outspoken and to say she has.

Speaker 2 (55:12):
A degree in philosophy, Okay, isn't philosophy or you get
when you don't know what's a major for?

Speaker 8 (55:21):
Come on, very yes, no Mega communications.

Speaker 6 (55:25):
John Stewart interview where he talked about how he got
his degree in psychology because you could never be wrong
if you wrote five pages about it.

Speaker 5 (55:33):
And I thought that was really fun, all right.

Speaker 7 (55:35):
Allegedly, Selena Gomez has unfollowed one of her very best
friends on Instagram Only Fans Content creator Teresa Marie because
she and again allegedly found out that her fiancee, Benny
Blanco is paying for Teresa's.

Speaker 8 (55:51):
Only Fans content.

Speaker 2 (55:53):
Oh home much.

Speaker 8 (55:53):
I believe the story, but chesn't follow her anymore. There's
that piece of it.

Speaker 7 (55:57):
Also, Teresa posted some stories on Instagram in the past
couple of weeks before this unfollow in which she's seen
hanging out solo at Benny's place. There was another one
where she was having dinner with him. Now again, these
posts are out of context. I don't know what the
story was behind them, but it maybe figures into Selena's
unfollow of her. Megan thee Stallion announced she is building

(56:19):
her own Popeye store from scratch and showcased.

Speaker 8 (56:23):
The construction site in a new video that she posted yesterday.

Speaker 4 (56:27):
First of.

Speaker 7 (56:36):
Her Popeye's store, going to feature her new hottie sauce.
She also did some poses with a bright orange Megan
thee Stallion themed fire extinguisher. Don't have an opening date
for her store, she did promise it's going to open
at some point this summer, and like you heard in
the clip, she's going to plan on opening more pop
Eyes as time goes on, You know what I was.

Speaker 2 (56:55):
I was shocked by do you know how many fast
food establishments that? Oh my god, it's like a crazy
amount of business. What he owns. Everything from Papa John's too,
he owns I think those off now he's well, I
think he still has the piece of it. He's like
the face and the piece of it, but he owns
I sent it to Kevin not that long ago. What

(57:17):
was it like Papa John's, Culver's, Like there was a
lot of I think he owns forever twenty one. He
owns a lot of stuff, like random stuff too that
you would never think he has. And he doesn't own
ship just like four of them. He owns like forty
five of each one. Various stupid businessman. But he shout
out to Megan for entrepreneurship.

Speaker 6 (57:34):
I like the collaboration restaurants post Belon did one with
raising canes. Yeah, they're very fun. Like I think that's
a smart way to do these collabs. And Leslie listened
to this story. A woman walks into her hotel room.
This is in Tokyo, first day, totally fine, great experience.

Speaker 7 (57:51):
He's on vacation. She saw this hotel on TikTok, bought
it looked great. Second day, walks in after a day
of sight seeing, takes off her clothes, lays in her bed,
and notices a strange smell in the room and she's like,
at first I thought it was coming from me, like
my hair, somewhere I had been that day, maybe the sheets.
Then she realized it was coming from under the bed.
She peers under the bed. This is my worst nightmare,

(58:13):
sees a pair of eyes staring back at her. There
was a man under her bed, just just an intruder
who screamed and then he ran out of the room.
She obviously contacted who the hotel staff, who alerted the

(58:34):
police of her uninvited guest, and they eventually got this guy.

Speaker 15 (58:38):
They have no.

Speaker 8 (58:39):
Idea how he got into her hotel room.

Speaker 2 (58:42):
I wonder what app service she bought that with, because
I gotta tell you, I've used one of those apps.
Went time to book a hotel room, showed up there
and the hotel was completely like the room was like
not even close to what they do what.

Speaker 3 (58:55):
It looked like.

Speaker 2 (58:56):
And the woman said to me, She's like, that's because
you booked it through something and it was like, yeah,
that's wild.

Speaker 5 (59:02):
Once they didn't have a room for me.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 8 (59:05):
I'd rather not have a room than have a strange
man under my bed who smells.

Speaker 2 (59:09):
That's true, like be in the room, to be under.

Speaker 7 (59:11):
The bead for all of Today's already cut up by
checking out the podcast or to Mojo in the Morning
in the Free iHeartRadio Action Celebrity Dirts.

Speaker 3 (59:20):
Mojo in the Morning, It's dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
You're calling men.

Speaker 2 (59:27):
By the way, uh listeners shouting out Shack owns Big
Chicken in Heartland. Yes, he's got the local location. I'll
just google.

Speaker 9 (59:36):
At one point in time and the said he sold
him a few years ago. He had one hundred and
fifty five five guys. He on one hundred and fifty
five locations.

Speaker 2 (59:44):
Natalie is going to be with us tomorrow at Morane Chevrolet,
and you could be driving home in a brand new car.
Congratulations now day, Congratulations to you.

Speaker 35 (59:58):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 28 (59:59):
I've been trying, like the last two weeks ago or
however long it's been going on.

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Natalie is at work right now, and you're gonna have
to try to figure out a way to tell your
boss that you're gonna either be late tomorrow or maybe
not coming in at all, because if I want a
new car, I want to drive that thing tomorrow.

Speaker 27 (01:00:13):
Well, luckily I don't work Fridays anyway.

Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Jes Y's cool. Yeah, where's this at? I would like
to also leave radio, and I would.

Speaker 10 (01:00:20):
Like to find a job now Commerce Township.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
Commerce Township. Hey, I live right by there. I can
work for those guys. You tell me what to do
and I'll do it. Congratulations to you. We'll see you
at Moran Chevrolet tomorrow. Okay, awesome, thank you, thank you.
It's Mojoe in the Morning Show. When Mom says no,
Stepdaead says yes.

Speaker 7 (01:00:42):
I mean, we've dealt with this with mom and dad,
with myself and my ex husband and my kids living
in two separate households, and my ex husband inter and
I try to curb this as much as we possibly
can in a line, and we're on the same page,
you know, on almost everything.

Speaker 8 (01:01:00):
Well, you guys have been to my house before, so
you know that I have.

Speaker 7 (01:01:05):
Two different levels almost to my roof, a level that
is slightly closer to the ground and then like a
roof roof. That being said, it's still a roof, and
there is access to that lower level of my roof
from one of Lucy's bedroom windows. And I've taken her
out there maybe two or three times, and we'll sit

(01:01:26):
at night and whatever, hang out and it's just like
a fun moment. But she knows she is not allowed
to go out there by herself. Somebody has to be
with her because it's slightly scary to get out there.
On one side, it's sloped and she could fall anyway.
She's been asking me to go out there and lay
a blanket down and read or listen to music, watch
her iPad, whatever, and I keep telling her no, because

(01:01:47):
I'm either busy doing something else, or we have somewhere
to go, whatever the reason. I want to make make
sure that I am up there when she is up there.

Speaker 2 (01:01:56):
Well, lo and behold.

Speaker 7 (01:01:58):
I'm doing yard work the other day and I look
up and I see Lucy Grace on the roof with
her little headphones in. She's got her iPad, and I
screamed to her, what the heck are you doing? I
told you know, and she said, but mister West told
me I could, So she went around me asked him,

(01:02:19):
and I'm pretty sure he heard me tell her no
several times and he was like, yep, go ahead, do
your thing. So just like you said when mom says no,
Now all of a sudden, stepdad is tried to be
the favorite and says, yes, really, but did he do it?

Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
Did he say to her that she could just go
up there that one time that he was there or
what did she he wasn't up there with her? Oh? Really?

Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:02:41):
Well, okay, but I'm saying, but maybe he just let
her go one time and she just mistook that as
she had free rein or something. I'm trying to know
she and Wes's defans. He definitely didn't hear that conversation. Yeah,
it's funny because now you know she knows how to

(01:03:02):
sneak out as a teenager. She's about to be oh god,
moving on to middle school and then high school and
there's Lucy going down the street in somebody's car because
she's snuck out of the house while monestly.

Speaker 7 (01:03:15):
But it is funny as a step parent being in
that position, you want your step kids to well to
like you, so you'll kind of go against what mom
or dad says, because.

Speaker 2 (01:03:25):
Is that weird? By the way, because you are your
step mom too, Like do you ever tell the kids
something that you know that their dad probably would say
no too?

Speaker 5 (01:03:34):
It's more so I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
I don't.

Speaker 8 (01:03:36):
I can't recall a time doing that.

Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
It's more so I will take their side in a
lot of disagreements they have with Wes, and they know
that I'll usually take their side because he's he's pretty strict.

Speaker 8 (01:03:49):
Yeah, he's a strict dad.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Does he get mad at you?

Speaker 7 (01:03:51):
And I'm way more laid back, so like Herean and
Samantha know it. I'll usually all side with them and stuff. Yeah,
and they come up afterwards to thank me.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
It's funny. Early in life, I think I was always
the fun parent, the one that you know, was like
the fun person that did fun things and would say
yes to everything. I think that it's changed, the roles
changing now in our relationship. I think that Chelsea was
the strict disciplinarian, and now the kids turned to Chelsea
when they need stuff, especially like money, like if they

(01:04:23):
want money or whatever, like Luke's calling Mom. I think
I told the story on the air earlier this week.
Luke called mom and said, it's the seniors last weekend
and I want to buy some rounds. Can you send
some money to me? And I'm listening to this going no,
you got he has to live on an allowance, you
know what I mean? And I get the alerts from

(01:04:44):
Chase all the time. Your account is fifty dollars or less,
you know what I mean, Like when it comes in
there and I'm like, good, he's got five days to
live on the fifty dollars that is left in his account.
It's like one round. But I think I think in
the case the case with kids, if I had if
I had kids, I literally would probably be Mickey Mouse
or Santa Claus. Do you think, like to that.

Speaker 9 (01:05:05):
Point of you saying the rolls have kind of switched
as the children have gotten older, do you think it's
easier or harder to be that stern parents and younger
children or older children.

Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
I think for me, when they were kids, I don't
think I spent as much time as I should have
spent with them because I was working so much. So
I think I made up for it by let's go
to you know we used to go. I remember all
the time we would go to, Uh, what the hell
was that?

Speaker 30 (01:05:30):
That?

Speaker 2 (01:05:30):
That restaurant that I can't remember that had the ice
cream bar. It had an ice cream bar.

Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
Sorry I.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
I would be like, let's go to Maxims and the
kids would get all excited over that, and Chelsea would
be like, I just made dinner, like you know what
I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:05:52):
It's interesting that you talk about the money though, because
with two separate households like we had. We just busted
kieren A in a gas money scandal on the where
he he'll ask, He'll.

Speaker 8 (01:06:04):
Ask mom, He'll ask mom for gas money.

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
You know, I have forty bucks for guys or whatever.

Speaker 7 (01:06:11):
And then he'll he'll he'll come to West and be like,
I don't have any gas and I have gas money,
and then we'll find out your conversation.

Speaker 8 (01:06:17):
He's double dipping.

Speaker 2 (01:06:18):
Yeah I am, by the way, Wait till he goes
away to college and he starts trying to get because
they run through their money. Like you talked about the
freshman fifteen. You know, whatever that they put on, they
they put that on because they're spending money like crazy,
like they're eating out all the time. They don't want
to eat on the campus food. And then they also

(01:06:39):
are drinking a bunch too. So Erica, what's up is
Mojo in the morning? Who knew, Hey, mister West is
a lightweight. He's likes to he likes to let the
kids do whatever. He over push over.

Speaker 43 (01:06:53):
I just wanted to know, did he actually know you
already told her?

Speaker 8 (01:06:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
I am fairly certain we know.

Speaker 8 (01:07:00):
My answer is no.

Speaker 43 (01:07:02):
Yeah, But I don't see Wes as being the type
of person that would override that for Lucy, Like I
think he respects you too much to do that in
front of Lucy. I feel like because I'm in a
uplitted household. My husband he married me with with my
older son, and he reasons with me on things that
I may say no to, and he'll he may say,
well go ahead, let them do it, and I'll let
them do it. But we have that conversation. I don't

(01:07:24):
think Wes knew you told her.

Speaker 5 (01:07:25):
I'll tell you.

Speaker 7 (01:07:26):
I love that you're trying to defend this man. But
he does this to me all the time, with any
anything you could possibly think of. The kids want to
go to Dairy Queen after dinner and I say, no,
we've already gone. You know, two times this week, all
of a sudden, everybody disappears. I check their location. Where
do you think they are?

Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
That that is his m Oh.

Speaker 43 (01:07:45):
Do you think it's malicious though, or do you think
he's just like, no, he's.

Speaker 8 (01:07:48):
Trying to be a savorte.

Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
So here's a question for you. He's very strict with
his kids, is he not? Is like a little bit
of the kid's childhood through Lucy and Smith?

Speaker 7 (01:07:59):
I think yes, And I think it is difficult for
his kids to see by the way how lenient he
is with Lucien Smith knowing what kind of dad he was.
I mean, he's a very fun guy and a fun dad,
but he was strict. Is strict, so things that didn't
go or didn't fly with them, and he's letting loosen.

(01:08:21):
It's it's flying with loosen Smith.

Speaker 5 (01:08:22):
They're like, wait a second, But that's the benefit of
being him. Yeah, this is the this is the upside.
This is like getting to be the like the fun one.

Speaker 2 (01:08:31):
He's every once in a while he's mister Brady or
he's what who are the other what are the other
sitcoms where there was a step dad that came into play?

Speaker 9 (01:08:40):
Was that like because they had stepkids, I don't know,
just brain bless his uncle Jesse.

Speaker 5 (01:08:48):
Didn't watch step It was kind of before me I.

Speaker 2 (01:08:52):
Can see that in all fairness, though, in all fairness
for Wes when when I've seen him with the it's
especially with Smith, it's wild man.

Speaker 8 (01:09:03):
How could get away murder?

Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
But no, but no, he's amazing with that kid. Like
that was actually such an eye opening. I remember we
were at that lip syn thing and I think I
pointed out to you, I'm like, look how amazing he
is with Smith and so you got a ball? What's up, Stephanie,
High Stephanie.

Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
So is it possible that he.

Speaker 11 (01:09:29):
Told me to go ahead because he knew you were
in the art and would be able to see her.

Speaker 5 (01:09:35):
The excuses.

Speaker 3 (01:09:45):
Checks the show at zero zero?

Speaker 2 (01:09:50):
That is funny. By the way, everybody's not a bad guy.
Like the kid jump off the room. She'll be okay,
she'll be all right. I was like, I didn't think
it was gonna go this way, Mojo. In the morning yesterday,
I was shooting videos for one of the clients that
I do commercials for fahs Living dot com at their

(01:10:11):
new apartments in Birmingham, Michigan, Birmingham Point Apartments. These things
are unreal. I'm not kidding you. These places are sick.
It's the only rooftop pool in Birmingham. And when I
mean rooftop pool, you get a view of the city.
It's so cool from this what looks like you're at
the Aria in Las Vegas. You know, it's like such

(01:10:34):
a cool thing. It's got a party suite. You know
how apartment complexes have like the party room, you can
have you know, baby showers in theouse. This thing is
a humongous, like it's basically a full on apartment, but
it's a huge party apartment. And then it has like
a dining area. It's got a kitchen that is like
all top notch, you know, equipment. It looks like, you know,

(01:10:56):
the most unbelievable place ever. And then the other things.
They have kinder service, they have a full time doorman.
But this was the one part that I wanted to
talk about. They have a pet spa and an indoor
pet park.

Speaker 5 (01:11:10):
Stop saying so when you live.

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
There, when you live there in the wintertime, I am
not kidding you when I say this to you. All
I kept thinking was this, if I was one of
these athletes that lives here in town, I would live
in this place. But I also realized when I saw
the client tele that lived there. There it's all like
twenty and thirty and forty year olds and fifty year olds.
It's like, you know, I met a first time couple.

(01:11:34):
They're getting married to each other. Really cool people. And
they by the way, if you guys are listening, call
because I'd love to. They just moved in that day
and they both have their first jobs out of college
and they're like living it's amazing. But this, let me
talk about this pet thing. So they have an indoor
pet place where if you don't want to go out
in the wintertime and walk your dog on the cold streets,
you literally go in there and it's like off freaking

(01:11:56):
it looks like it's an indoor park, Like yeah, it's
an indoor turf park and stuff that is crazy and
the dogs and the dogs grew in the bathroom. Well
it got me thinking when Chelsea and I first got
together and we had our very first apartment together, which
by the way, was spring Hill Apartments, Tucson, Arizona. Our
rent payment check, you know how much we paid a
month for our for a one bedroom How much back

(01:12:19):
in the day, six hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
That was a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (01:12:22):
Oh my god, I want to.

Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
And by the way, how much was actually I think bred.

Speaker 5 (01:12:31):
The snickers was a nipple.

Speaker 2 (01:12:33):
This was unbelievable. But I remember spring Hill apartments were
great because spring Hill apartments had huge Florida ceiling windows,
which was always weird because we really didn't have blinds.
We couldn't afford the blinds for the thing, so in
Chelsea would have to say to me, put clothes on
because people are walking by our apartment.

Speaker 3 (01:12:49):
But this was the thing that we did.

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
We couldn't afford seven hundred dollars a month because you
had to pay an extra hundred dollars a month if
you had a pet. So we had to lie about
our So we had to lie that with Murphy. That Murphy,
you know, wasn't our dog. We didn't have a dog.
So when we lived there, we lied to the landlord
and they did not know we had a dog. And

(01:13:12):
we had to covertly sneak our dog out when it
got dark to go to the bathroom or do anything
like that, like poor Murphy would have to like hang out.
Murphy was cool. Murphy was kind of trained. Murphy was
a Doberman. Remember I was telling you some dog and
we used to reward Murphy if Murphy wouldn't bark like

(01:13:33):
it was like wild, It's like, don't bark, because we
didn't want anybody to know that we're doing this thing.
So I wanted to throw this out there just as
a question because I was thinking of this when I
was at Birmingham Point. And not that I'm telling any
of Randy Wurthheimer's uh you know, potential leases to lie
to him about a dog or no dog, don't do that.
But if you can get away with it, how did

(01:13:55):
you lie to your landlord and what did you lie
to your landlord about? I would love to hear the
stories about people who have lied to their landlord about
something because you know, they didn't want them to know
about it. And then the funniest part was when they
had to do like the random we're gonna change something
in your your back your room, and they had the guy,

(01:14:15):
the maintenance guy come. We had to sneak Murphy out,
and we had to go bring Murphy over to Chelsea's
mom's house to hide Murphy. It was actually kind of funny.
But there's a lot of people that actually in their
apartments probably have things that their landlords don't want you
to have him. You know what I mean? Maybe you're
running an only fans brothel out of your out of

(01:14:38):
your places.

Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
Wrong with that?

Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
I don't know. I'm telling you that's so interesting though.
Was there were you ever close to getting caught? Oh
my god? So many times. The funny thing was we walked,
we'd walk the dog and neighbors would go, oh my god,
did you guys just get a new dog. We're like, no,
what dog? I don't know what you're talking about. There's
no dog here you eight four four Mojo Live eight

(01:15:01):
four four six six five six five four eight? What's up?

Speaker 4 (01:15:03):
Brandy?

Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
How you doing?

Speaker 17 (01:15:05):
Hey?

Speaker 29 (01:15:05):
How are you this morning?

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Good morning?

Speaker 14 (01:15:06):
You having a dog?

Speaker 11 (01:15:09):
Until all of our neighbors fall in love with our
Friendchies and then we had to hop out to it.

Speaker 44 (01:15:17):
We had we had a friend Schie.

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
I'm telling you that's what ends up. That almost happened
to us. Like I was saying, like people would see
your dog and they get all crazy about the dogs.

Speaker 5 (01:15:25):
All the neighbors knew him.

Speaker 11 (01:15:26):
He was part of the dog club in the neighborhood
and the condos, and so we definitely uh got busted.

Speaker 34 (01:15:32):
But what was that A big deal.

Speaker 2 (01:15:33):
What was the fee to have a dog? Like how
much work did Ye's pay?

Speaker 5 (01:15:38):
Fifty dollars?

Speaker 29 (01:15:39):
But it was it wasn't It was worth having him
there and having him at friends and be part of
the community.

Speaker 11 (01:15:45):
He's a French, he's a friend chief bull dog and
he's part of the community.

Speaker 2 (01:15:49):
Could you imagine having an indoor park in the winter time?
I didn't hear that point f hsing dot com. Yeah,
go check this out.

Speaker 6 (01:16:01):
It's unbelievable, dude, I thought about that in this summer.
There's so many dog parks in the winter, but not
reverse strike that reverse it, but so many in the summer.

Speaker 5 (01:16:09):
Nothing in the winter and those dogs, what's up?

Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
Tia?

Speaker 24 (01:16:13):
Uh?

Speaker 45 (01:16:14):
Before, when I was with my ex fiance with our
yearly home inspections, I had to pack up our cat
into the car with like every evidence of a cat
living in our house during the home inspection. Yeah, so
they didn't see the cat.

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
Yeah so, so would the cat cooperate or the cat like,
what the hell are you doing?

Speaker 45 (01:16:39):
So he would cooperate, But the minute we got into
the car, he legit me out the whole.

Speaker 5 (01:16:46):
Menus.

Speaker 46 (01:16:48):
Sometimes it would be like an hour waiting for the
like okay, you can come back. And he's just climbing
around the whole car, like on my dashboard in the
back window, me owling.

Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
Yeah, that's it's tough. It's tough to keep these animals quiet.
What's up, Robert, how you doing? I'm going Mojo? Hi
you pal? What's up?

Speaker 10 (01:17:09):
I'm not too bad first time?

Speaker 27 (01:17:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17:15):
So I hide my cats from my landlord anytime he
shows up. I have four of them, and one just
had babies, and I hide them in my car. Oh,
oh that's smart. Wait, well, did your landlord ever walk
outside and see.

Speaker 28 (01:17:31):
He's came by one time unexpected and saw that I had.

Speaker 5 (01:17:34):
One at one time, but other than that, now he
has to call me.

Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
Then did you just say it was a stray?

Speaker 10 (01:17:40):
I see exactly exactly what I said.

Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Yeah, I'd be like, I don't know what you're talking about.
This is this is damn thing here. I have no clue. Yeah,
that's that's nuts. But you got four. I can't believe
that four. This is a great one. Hold on a second, here,
this is fantastic. We've got people that don't have just
dogs and cats. Melissa has to what Melissa.

Speaker 29 (01:18:04):
Chickens chicken, chicken, Okay.

Speaker 47 (01:18:11):
I am a STEM teacher and I hatched chicken for
the first time in my classroom and my husband said,
you know, we cannot keep these. I said, of course not,
I'm not a crazy chicken lady. And I live streamed it,
watched them hatch, fall in love with them, and we.

Speaker 48 (01:18:28):
Have an h o A and so we hid the chickens.
Actually for two years.

Speaker 47 (01:18:33):
I kept catching chickens until we got roosters, and because
we traumatized the neighbor because they could hear roosters growing
are terrible.

Speaker 5 (01:18:45):
Really, roosters are super annoying.

Speaker 2 (01:18:50):
Oh my god. Do you live by a guy named
Tony Travado? Can you imagine his neighbors?

Speaker 8 (01:18:58):
You've been to his house having him.

Speaker 2 (01:18:59):
I have not into it.

Speaker 5 (01:19:00):
I feel like he doesn't have it.

Speaker 8 (01:19:03):
I don't think.

Speaker 2 (01:19:05):
Yeah, I just can only imagine, like the things making
noises that goats, bad boosters sound like trash to live near.

Speaker 5 (01:19:12):
Yeah, no, they really are.

Speaker 6 (01:19:13):
And there was another person in my neighborhood. Now this
is not big plots of land. They had a pig
in their yard.

Speaker 2 (01:19:18):
See well, speaking of the pig, Pam is on with
us right now. Pam, what did you hide from your landlord.

Speaker 47 (01:19:26):
I hid a pot belly pig, big ass pig, dude,
Well I did.

Speaker 49 (01:19:32):
It started out my daughter.

Speaker 12 (01:19:34):
They lied about how they got it, but they started out.

Speaker 40 (01:19:37):
They brought this little bitty pig and it weighed all
of five pounds.

Speaker 47 (01:19:40):
So I was like, oh, I'm like, what am I
going to do?

Speaker 12 (01:19:43):
And she's like, she goes. We we just came across it.

Speaker 28 (01:19:46):
It was running around.

Speaker 40 (01:19:47):
We saved it everything else, Mom.

Speaker 50 (01:19:48):
What are we going to do?

Speaker 51 (01:19:49):
And of course we sept everything.

Speaker 12 (01:19:50):
I'd just gone through my divorce, so I'm there and
I'm like, I can't get rid of this baby pig.

Speaker 45 (01:19:55):
So we get this baby pig.

Speaker 40 (01:19:56):
Well, and they you can raise them like dogs and
cats and everything else and.

Speaker 25 (01:20:00):
Stuff, and you know, they you take them out and
it learns to go out to the.

Speaker 10 (01:20:04):
To the you know, go outsideway the dog.

Speaker 40 (01:20:07):
Well, so we had a dog, and they knew about
my dog, but you know, they don't know why I
have a pot belly pig.

Speaker 47 (01:20:13):
So I'm taking this pot belly pig out to go
to the bathroom.

Speaker 45 (01:20:17):
Same thing.

Speaker 7 (01:20:17):
I'm like taking it.

Speaker 52 (01:20:18):
Out and everybody's like, oh, you got a pig, you
gotta pig and I'm like, no, we're just watching it.

Speaker 29 (01:20:23):
We're just watching it.

Speaker 47 (01:20:24):
So if I saw anybody, well, this stupid thing start
out at five pounds and ended up being like sixty.

Speaker 2 (01:20:30):
Five pounds.

Speaker 29 (01:20:32):
And then it would root like it would.

Speaker 49 (01:20:34):
Root and tear up the carpeting and everything.

Speaker 2 (01:20:37):
Oh, that's the reason why, that's the reason why they
don't let you have it.

Speaker 9 (01:20:42):
Those things are should be in a firm. I got
stuck when she said her daughters came across at the beak.

Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
Where do you have a did just come across?

Speaker 6 (01:20:51):
They bought that pigout Facebook all the time?

Speaker 2 (01:20:55):
Last call, this is funny, Sean. I hid my husband
from my land La. Wait what's sean?

Speaker 26 (01:21:04):
Yeah, she didn't want a couple living in her home.
They were saying she had a couple living in her home,
they would be fight, the police would be at her house.
So me and my mom had to feel like the
application like he was me and my mother living together
and I was pregnant at the time, and the landlord
would do draft baths and stuff. And one day she
was like, why barely see your mother at the house, And.

Speaker 35 (01:21:26):
I said, oh, my mom works a lot.

Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
So I had to add the.

Speaker 35 (01:21:29):
Fact that I had a hook.

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
You should have had him dress up. I guess a woman.

Speaker 9 (01:21:34):
Looked like Martin Laurie's and big mama, Hold on, Alicia,
what what did you want.

Speaker 15 (01:21:39):
To say to this?

Speaker 19 (01:21:41):
So?

Speaker 11 (01:21:41):
I actually had apartment complex complex one time lived there.

Speaker 38 (01:21:45):
They accused me of hiding a male roommate.

Speaker 16 (01:21:48):
Mind you, I am a lesbian that wears men's clothing.

Speaker 5 (01:21:50):
So don't you want to look at your and be
like pants off for women?

Speaker 49 (01:21:57):
Now?

Speaker 3 (01:22:00):
Khui Detroit.

Speaker 1 (01:22:02):
Mosquito is Mojo in the Morning, Moto.

Speaker 5 (01:22:08):
He's amazing live.

Speaker 4 (01:22:12):
Mojo big one. God.

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
Let me take you back to the beginning. This is
alrighty ready you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're
a do ahead, we.

Speaker 29 (01:22:34):
Go, let's go.

Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
He coming up this morning at eight fifty, Megan's going
to have the best Megan minute ever. She's going to
be given the floor to be able to say something
to the listeners.

Speaker 27 (01:22:50):
Here.

Speaker 2 (01:22:51):
Meghan, for those that don't know, is leaving the show.
She is actually leaving radio. And maybe we'll find out
more of what's going on with Megan coming up at
age fifty this morning. So make sure that you're listening
right here on the Mocho in the morning show. We're
going to miss you, Meghan, and we are going to
have Meghan with us tomorrow at our broadcast that we're

(01:23:12):
going to do giving away a car at Moraine Chevrolet.
So if you do want to come on out and
say hey and maybe try to get Meghan to give
you a hug. Megan actually is a very very good hugger.
I just want you to know. Yeh wait, how dare
you What do you like about Meghan's hugs? Meghan? Honestly,

(01:23:32):
Meghan reminds me so much. I've said this before. She
reminds me of like my sister, like the little sister
I never had because I was the baby of the family.
So for some reason, I always I think this is
the reason why my sister Pat loves her so much.
I think Meghan kind of reminds me of what it
would have been like if I had a little sister.
You know, somebody that just annoys the crap out of building,

(01:23:55):
but you but you love unconditionally, you know. Mojo in
the morning, Megan had had a was it the cable
guy or something that was coming to the house or
what was it?

Speaker 5 (01:24:09):
Cable? Who is cable?

Speaker 53 (01:24:11):
What is it.

Speaker 2 (01:24:12):
Well, you're the internet guy. Well it's it's the same thing, right,
is it the internet company?

Speaker 5 (01:24:16):
No, welcome to twenty twenty five?

Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
What did they what did they have? Which service did
you did you go with?

Speaker 6 (01:24:21):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:24:21):
My guy, can I tell you?

Speaker 3 (01:24:22):
Well?

Speaker 5 (01:24:23):
You don't get much of a choice in Toledo.

Speaker 6 (01:24:24):
There's like a huge monopoly, which I love bringing up
right now because I hope people get heated about this.
But I am very, very lucky that my apartment complex
has a deal because they have so many properties.

Speaker 5 (01:24:39):
I don't know if they're across the country, but they're essentially.

Speaker 6 (01:24:42):
I moved from Detroit to Toledo, but stayed within my
apartment company, so it's the same everything.

Speaker 2 (01:24:49):
It's the same management company.

Speaker 5 (01:24:50):
Yeah, thank you, that's the word I was looking for. Yeah,
so I and I want to be very clear, this
is not slanderous against the company. I am so happy
with this company. It's not even funny.

Speaker 6 (01:25:00):
I use metro net so I get to keep my
cheap internet and I'm so freaking excited about this, Like
it's is.

Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
It good internet? Though?

Speaker 6 (01:25:07):
Yes, And it's half the price of every Toledo internet's
first year and then it goes up from there, so
it's like it becomes a third of the price of
Toledo Internet. Oh my god, I'm so happy and I
love this company. But this poor guy, this technician, came
out to my place yesterday. He showed up at one
point thirty and he did not leave until eight thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:25:26):
Oh what Yes? What was wrong with the internet?

Speaker 5 (01:25:29):
Nobody knows and it's still not fixed.

Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
And that unit has some kind of a wiring thing.

Speaker 5 (01:25:35):
But no because the tenant who lived there before.

Speaker 6 (01:25:38):
Me didn't have the issue, So like, it's not near,
it's not whatever, and they can't figure out why my
account just refuses to work on the building.

Speaker 2 (01:25:46):
How long did you think, because you know, they usually
give you a window when they're coming, they never give
you a window of when they're leaving. But how long
did you think they were going to stay? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (01:25:52):
Okay, So I'm sitting there and I'm like, all right,
a couple of hours. And here's the other thing. He
needs my phone for the setup. So I don't have internet,
I don't have music playing, and I have nothing to
stream on the television. I don't have my phone, so
it's silent in my apartment for seven hours.

Speaker 5 (01:26:15):
It was seven hours. He did a full day's worth
of work.

Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
In my apartment. What do you do during this time?
Are you just there?

Speaker 6 (01:26:20):
I'm unpacking, baby, I got so much done in my
apartment it's not even funny. I felt so accomplished yesterday.
But this poor guy does everything. And I'm gonna be
real honest. When you call out a tech do you
ever have that fear where they're going to hit one button,
be like it's fixed and walked out.

Speaker 5 (01:26:36):
No, I pray for that. Then I'll feel like, I'm
sorry I wasted your.

Speaker 8 (01:26:41):
Time, So I don't want to them there for seven hours.

Speaker 6 (01:26:44):
Well after like I was like, hell yeah, baby was
not Muffault could not have fixed this on my own.
And by the end of the day he had six
engineers on a chat like call and they were all
rewriting the code to my internet to try to give
me internet access again. They didn't resolve the issue, so
they're coming back today. But at like seven last night, Shannon,

(01:27:05):
I think I started texting you because none of us
have manners, but Shannon, so I was like, she'll know
the answer to this. Do you start to offer, like
to cook your technician dinner? Do you like because he
felt embarrassed to ask to go to the bathroom, and
I'm like, you've been here for seven hours, You're more
than welcome to use the bathroom.

Speaker 8 (01:27:22):
Like I will give you need something to do?

Speaker 5 (01:27:23):
I started, actually, do you want to beer? At this
point I felt so.

Speaker 6 (01:27:27):
Bad he was driving a company car because I wanted
to be like, bro, mikse is soue casse, like whatever
you want, whatever, and he kept saying like, no, no,
I'm not hungry. And then eventually I took over a
bowl of peanut butter pretzels for him. He smashed him immediately.
I'm like, I know this man is starving. I know
he's tired, I know he's piste off, and he's not
allowed to leave.

Speaker 5 (01:27:45):
And yeah, I felt so bad, but I felt trapped
in my bedroom because you don't want to be creepy,
but you don't want her over the technician.

Speaker 6 (01:27:56):
I have a one bedroom apartment, so I'm either in
the room with him or in my bedroom.

Speaker 2 (01:28:01):
I think people call me weird, but whenever I have
anybody come fixed suff even if it's for five minutes,
I always offer him food. But at that point I
would actually offer him a residence. I would say to him,
would you like to be my roommates because I think
you've been here longer. You've been here longer than most
of my relationships.

Speaker 6 (01:28:16):
Being a long I legitimately and I have this guy
was so nice. He was so professional. I want to yeah,
so so nice. I have no idea if he was
in a relationship or whatever. I wanted to crack the
joke that I have not had a man in my
place for this long and like probably six years, because
I didn't want to be And then in my head
I was like, don't be creepy, don't be weird, don't
make him uncomfortable. I'm just like, this poor guy is

(01:28:38):
stuck with me over analyzing this entire situation while just
silently unpacking boxes in my bedroom.

Speaker 2 (01:28:45):
No wonder the internet was so cheap. Yeah, right.

Speaker 5 (01:28:52):
Now, I've had about for years, and this is the
first time I've had an issue like this.

Speaker 2 (01:28:57):
What's the longest that you've ever had a fixing per
in your house? That just Coodn't you know? It took
forever to do. I uh, I got to tell you.
We've had so many things wrong with our house over
the years, and we've had people come and fix somes
some things. We had our issues with the with our
water for a little bit and we're trying to figure
it out and the plumber and I have to tell you,

(01:29:20):
when you hire people, you always go off recommendations. So
my buddy Chris is like, this guy is the best.
He came to me and he did the over promise
and or no is it under promise and over delivered? Yeah,
he plumber Dave. He told Chelsea this might be a
two or three day project. It took him like four hours, Chelsea.

(01:29:42):
Chelsea actually was like, I'm going to marry you. Like
that was how great it was a bottle alcohol. You look,
but then you're right. But for some reason it is
interesting with like internet and cable and stuff like that.
Either cable guys there forever.

Speaker 7 (01:29:53):
I just had the curpe of guys at my house
and the guy came shout out to Gus, by the way,
I love you use this is such a good job.
But he got to my house at noon and didn't
leave until about nine thirty, and he kept apologizing, apologizing,
and I said, look, same thing I was offering him food.
I mean we made dinner, like you know, we were
all four kids that day, I think, But there were

(01:30:13):
certain points of the day where I was like, so
I have to go and pick up my kids from school,
but I'll be right back.

Speaker 8 (01:30:22):
I have to go and take my son to football.
I'll be right back. I couldn't just stay in har
I fall a little weird accent.

Speaker 2 (01:30:29):
How long it'll take? But I'll just hit him with
the are you good? Yeah, Jennifer listening to this one?
How long Jennifer was the cable guy at your place?

Speaker 13 (01:30:40):
Ah?

Speaker 11 (01:30:40):
They were there for about nine and a half hours.

Speaker 2 (01:30:42):
Oh my god. What were they doing? Were they actually
trying to hit satellites in the sky or what?

Speaker 11 (01:30:51):
I actually have no idea because I actually went to work.
I worked an entire shift and they were still at
my house. But time I got back, my sister was there.
Shout out to stappening.

Speaker 2 (01:31:01):
By the way, and that's a good sister to stay
there for nine and a half hour. Man with no
internet or cable, you know, it's like, that's the worst, Tiffany,
what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 11 (01:31:13):
Hi.

Speaker 28 (01:31:14):
We had a guy have to come.

Speaker 44 (01:31:15):
Back three days in a row. They actually had to
call the police because our internet wouldn't work. They had
to dig a new hole and go upstairs to the
upstairs apartment. She didn't believe they were a cable, so
she wouldn't let them in.

Speaker 2 (01:31:27):
Oh my god, the guy gets arrested doing your job.

Speaker 44 (01:31:32):
All I kept doing is hearing them go up and
down the stairs, probably like thirty times and saying, this
one will not work with me. I don't know what
I'm supposed to do.

Speaker 2 (01:31:39):
Yeah. I love when when they go in and out
of the house, in and out of the house and
they have to like do that and the poor guys
have to take off their shoot the little booty and
come back in and poor guys.

Speaker 9 (01:31:49):
My question, do they get paid per house or is
it like an hourly, because if I got to stay
there all day, I'm only getting paid for you know
what I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
We had a thing one time where we had thing
something broken in our house or something somebody fixed and something.
The guy showed up five minutes into it. He goes, well,
I'll be back here in about fifteen minutes. And I'm thinking, oh,
he's going like home depot to get your parts. And
I go, where are you going? And he goes, oh,
it's lunchtime. I'm like, you just stuck with my job, Like,
why didn't you go to lunch? I know, but he

(01:32:18):
was leaving to go eat lunch. It was there for
five minutes. I'm like, why did you even come? Rachel?
What's up?

Speaker 50 (01:32:26):
Our washer was broke for almost three months? No, and
they they came out about three times. And every time
I had to wait almost two weeks for an appointment.
They came out looked at it, or they're like, we
need this part. They came back out They're like, oh,
it's the wrong part. I had to wait another like
two weeks for the parts to come in. Three times

(01:32:46):
they were out here.

Speaker 2 (01:32:48):
Man, that's you know, that's a bummer too. It's like,
why is it that appliances only break when you're about
to have company over at your house like Easter, Chris.

Speaker 50 (01:32:58):
Mill I sure was broke for three months and now
it just got six last week. And now our toilet's brunk.

Speaker 2 (01:33:04):
Oh that's nuts. Yeah, well, or you have a cloud
over yet? Well first she came wash. Now you can't white? Tomika?
What's up?

Speaker 9 (01:33:14):
Hi?

Speaker 39 (01:33:16):
I was calling because I had a guy for internet
and I was there with my granddad, was there in
the place of my daughter, and it was me and
my granddaughter.

Speaker 26 (01:33:25):
He was outside and he was out there a few.

Speaker 39 (01:33:28):
Hours and he kept going to the truck and on
the laptop, and I'm like, okay, what the hell is
he doing? But I left him alone and he finally
not he comes in older guys. He immediately start talking
to my granddaughter. Well aren't you the cutest thing? And
she's smiling, she's very friendly. The problem is that went
on for ten minutes.

Speaker 15 (01:33:48):
And I'm looking at him like, are you going to.

Speaker 24 (01:33:51):
Talk to me?

Speaker 17 (01:33:52):
At some point?

Speaker 35 (01:33:54):
Been outside for four hours?

Speaker 2 (01:33:56):
How old your granddaughter?

Speaker 44 (01:33:58):
She was like three at this time.

Speaker 2 (01:34:01):
That's weird. Why is he talking to three?

Speaker 29 (01:34:04):
That's that was my point.

Speaker 2 (01:34:06):
Creepy, Yeah, that's what what are you?

Speaker 39 (01:34:08):
What are you doing? And he was like, oh, well,
we can't do anything out there. Oh my god, you're
talking to me, or well, not even talking to me,
we're talking to my granddaughter.

Speaker 2 (01:34:19):
That's weird. That's that's one where you I got that guy.

Speaker 26 (01:34:24):
The meeting.

Speaker 24 (01:34:24):
The guy got it.

Speaker 48 (01:34:30):
And he's feeling her, smiling at her like, well you
have a good day.

Speaker 13 (01:34:33):
You're waving.

Speaker 26 (01:34:34):
I had to slam the door.

Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Yeah. I always feel like I'm that weird dude, whenever
I see a little kid at the booth next to
me or table next to me and they're smiling at you,
Like when you're smiling at him, do you do the
little and Chelsea, Chelsea, my wife will go to go
what are you doing?

Speaker 27 (01:34:51):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:34:52):
Those parents don't want you talking to their Can you
ever make faces?

Speaker 4 (01:34:55):
I do?

Speaker 2 (01:34:56):
Like you ever had a kid stick on the middle finger?
One of moment.

Speaker 24 (01:35:02):
Smile?

Speaker 5 (01:35:02):
They give you a dirty lier.

Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
Lauren had the cable guy come out and what did
he ask you? Guys?

Speaker 48 (01:35:14):
Good morning everyone?

Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
Good morning.

Speaker 14 (01:35:17):
So, to make a long story short, my husband and
I moved out to Howell and are like in the
country and they only offer like satellite internet out here
at my seven month oldest saying hello, so they we

(01:35:38):
already had some issues with the installation.

Speaker 28 (01:35:39):
Date from the beginning.

Speaker 54 (01:35:40):
So about a week later he shows up and he's like, great,
I'm gonna put the satellite up. I'm like cool, We've
been without internet for a week at this point. And
he comes knocking next on the door and he's like,
do you guys have a drill or something that.

Speaker 14 (01:35:58):
I can borrow because I don't have mine.

Speaker 29 (01:36:02):
And I was like.

Speaker 54 (01:36:06):
No, because We had literally just moved into this house
and my husband didn't have any of his schools yet.
And he was like, yeah, well, I'm not going to
be able to finish installing the satellite because I don't
have my drill.

Speaker 2 (01:36:18):
He didn't bring tools.

Speaker 50 (01:36:19):
What he didn't bring his tool?

Speaker 2 (01:36:21):
Wow? And I asked to use your tools. It's crazy.

Speaker 54 (01:36:25):
Yes, So we canceled that company and we went with
a different company who was out and had all.

Speaker 44 (01:36:33):
Their own tools.

Speaker 2 (01:36:35):
Word of warning, I want to everybody know this. When
a listener or color calls it in, their first words
out of their mouth is to make this long story short.
It's never like it was Clark. I felt like I
was on the roof.

Speaker 37 (01:36:55):
Story.

Speaker 2 (01:37:00):
I love you, Lauren, take care of yourself.

Speaker 3 (01:37:03):
You thank you well.

Speaker 2 (01:37:04):
The moral to this story is Megan would still have
internet if she didn't leave us and stay.

Speaker 3 (01:37:11):
Right right cool, got your phone and confirms you were
cheating on me. What a relief. I thought I was insane.
You know, the War of the Roses after night, Mojo
in the.

Speaker 2 (01:37:21):
Morning, All right, it is Mojo in the morning. So
I got my hair cut yesterday. Saw Katrina. She said,
to say hi to everybody. Katrina says that when we
will be trying people out for Megan's position, that she
would like a week of trying out that first off,

(01:37:42):
she would lose every friend she has because she's got
more good gossip than anybody. So but I said to her,
I go yeah, I said, you know what, We'll do
that so she'd be perfect. But I was talking to
Katrina for a little bit. But beforehand, Kendall, who is
Katrina's assistant, was washing my hair and we're making small
talk at the tub and and she I said, She says,

(01:38:06):
how you doing. What's going on? How's Chelsea Howard? You
know the kids and stuff? And I said good, I said,
what's been going on with you? And how's everything going.
She's like, I've been going out? What are you laughing
at you? We make a small talk at the tub
when you put your head in that I should I
should not try to be too colorful girls like all

(01:38:29):
of us. Growth it's it's literally I'm the only guy
and there's like a row of just women getting their hair.
And so Kendall actually told me something interesting. This is
for all the single ladies out there, because of Kendall
is single. And she said that she is no longer
hanging out with the guys in the suburbs like in

(01:38:51):
Birmingham and stuff. She said that the guys in Detroit
actually talked to the women.

Speaker 5 (01:38:57):
She found a single guy.

Speaker 2 (01:38:58):
Well, this is a Detroit exist. Here's the deal, she says.
And when she goes out in Detroit, she says, the
guys that are out in Detroit will actually come up
to you, where the guys in Birmingham stay at their
own tables and hang out with their own people, which
I thought was well. I thought that was an interesting
take because I think it's very interesting that guys just
won't talk to people like they won't just randomly talk

(01:39:20):
like you have to do everything on an app. You
can't do it, I think. I mean, I think Detroit
is a more aggressive city. Though she said it's great,
said people are great, They're awesome, like, you know, come up.
Here's the other part that was interesting. She also said.
When I said to her, you know, I was asking
a question. I said about you know, uh, oh, tell
me about the best date that you've had recently. She goes,
Oh my god, she goes, the best date that I

(01:39:41):
had in the last month was awesome. And I said,
what was so great about it? And she goes, he
made reservations for dinner, and I go, okay, and she goes.
She goes, well, no, he made reservations for dinner. She goes,
that's a major step. Some guys don't make reservations for dinner.
And I go, that was her date, that was the
best date. And I said to her, okay, so he

(01:40:05):
made reservation. That's all guys got to do is make
reservations for dinner. And then I realized, why wasn't I
born in this generation of dating? Did you understand the
generation of dating that is going on right now? When
I mean these guys I'm talking about, and she's in
her twenties, you know, or thirty years old she's dating
these guys, are you know in that same age group?

(01:40:27):
These guys nowadays set it up. All you got to
do is make a reservation for dinner, and a hot
girl will actually be saying that that's one of her
best dates. That is pretty sad.

Speaker 40 (01:40:39):
The bar is low.

Speaker 2 (01:40:41):
Well, I would have been in a plus dates. Do
you know how many reservations for dinner and I've done?

Speaker 5 (01:40:49):
They have apps for it too. To say it takes
maybe thirty seconds. You don't even have to call.

Speaker 2 (01:40:54):
All right, that's sad. So here's the thing. What thing
doesn't seem big, but is that a guy did on
a date because we had a so then we got
into second date update.

Speaker 7 (01:41:05):
We were talking about second date up because the one yesterday.
It still blows my mind that she was poo pooing
on everything he did for her.

Speaker 2 (01:41:11):
Chat was talking about that and she was like, I
got to tell you, she goes. It was unbelievable. I
thought that that guy was great. He made her dinner, Yes,
he did all that stuff.

Speaker 8 (01:41:18):
Right his home, invited her into his home.

Speaker 2 (01:41:20):
The only thing that she said that she was probably
not cool with was that he didn't walk her to
the car at the end of the day. But we're
having this conversation and we're talking, I'm like, make a
reservation for dinner. That's all you got to do, guys. Effort.
I'm having a conversation with my son, Luke. I am
going to make Luke the most eligible bachelor in town.
First off, I think he's a great looking kid. He

(01:41:42):
looks like his mom, so he's a great looking kid.
Number two, I'm going to make him a gentleman. I
am going to go over this with him that all
he has to do is get open table.

Speaker 29 (01:41:55):
Let me.

Speaker 9 (01:41:57):
And I don't know if you guys got into this
particular portion of the conversation at the tub, But was
it the fact that he didn't ask her what she
wanted and he just made the reservation.

Speaker 2 (01:42:09):
I think that she was just excited that he didn't
take her to market to sit at a bar.

Speaker 8 (01:42:13):
Okaylet into it, but yeah, not mine.

Speaker 2 (01:42:17):
And it was honestly, it was wild. All the women
that were there at the girls that were shampooing, and
then the other women that were there is They're all
started going yeah, that's true. Yeah, and I'm like going,
wait a second. It was like I felt like, you
know how most action happens at the barbershop or the
beauty shop. Like that's what it was like, is like

(01:42:38):
we're all sitting there having conversations about you know, relationships
and life and stuff.

Speaker 6 (01:42:42):
Remember the last time I was super frustrated with dating.
It feels like every time I date, I go out
and I'm the only one that's asking questions to learn
more about that person. It feels like a job interview,
Like they don't show any interest in reciprocating conversation.

Speaker 9 (01:42:58):
Yeah, because the reason why I brought up and that's
that's a good point too. I think somebody always told me,
and I try to tell Josiah, when you're meeting somebody,
try to be more interested than interesting.

Speaker 36 (01:43:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:43:08):
Yeah, but on that point, I've talked to a lot
of women, and these are like, you know, I'm in
my thirty five and stage, so these are like young
girls whatever like that, but women who have responsibilities and
have a lot going on with their life and who
make decisions like for a man to make the decision
for them. So instead of spending minutes of hey, well,
what time do you want me to pick you up?
Or where do you want to go? What kind of

(01:43:29):
food do you have? Like just being yeah eight pm atractive,
I didn't ask that question.

Speaker 2 (01:43:39):
I was just so mesmerized over the fact that she
was excited about the reservation.

Speaker 6 (01:43:42):
I think it's fair to be like, what kind of
food do you like? And then you can give some
things and then's that up the date?

Speaker 2 (01:43:47):
Yeah, I want to take you to a peanut factory. Analogy.
What's up, Kyla? Hi, good morning morning.

Speaker 24 (01:43:55):
So when y'all said that, Mojo was like, one of
the girls.

Speaker 54 (01:43:58):
It made me think about those commercial or like videos
where they're sitting under the dryer.

Speaker 2 (01:44:05):
I have always wanted to sit under that dryer thing.
I see these women with the they've got the you know,
the tinfoil in their hair, the renotls wrapped in their hair.
What's up, Paulina? Hi?

Speaker 55 (01:44:17):
Hi?

Speaker 36 (01:44:18):
So he asked if I had a food allergy before
he ordered it out for the table, and I actually
have a severe honey allergy.

Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
So the fact that he asked was just like, so
incredibly kind.

Speaker 2 (01:44:28):
What a kind man, what a great one. See that
he doesn't want to kill you on the date. That's
his goal, right, exactly, sweetheart?

Speaker 5 (01:44:37):
What's up a little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:44:40):
I'm sorry, Actually, what's going on? What do you got
going on?

Speaker 48 (01:44:43):
I'm sorry? I was calling in to say, oh sorry,
I was talking to a coworker about the key.

Speaker 5 (01:44:51):
To open the doors.

Speaker 2 (01:44:52):
Okay, sorry, what do you have? What's going on?

Speaker 15 (01:44:56):
I'm sorry?

Speaker 48 (01:44:57):
So, yeah, I wanted to call and say that when
my my husband and I were first newly dating, maybe
only a few weeks, we had planned a date while
at work and he didn't want me to have to
wear my work clothes out to minigolf. So he went
to the store and bought me a whole outfit. Even
asked one of the workers size, like, you know, justus

(01:45:20):
my body frame, and what, honestly size it for me?

Speaker 2 (01:45:24):
That's pretty cool like that. That's a keeper right there, right.

Speaker 48 (01:45:28):
Yes, Yes, we've been married for seven.

Speaker 2 (01:45:31):
Years and beautiful. I have anxiety over buying clothes for
Chelsea because I always worry that if I buy her something,
I'm buying her either something that's too small or too big,
and then I'll and it's probably better to go what
too small? You don't want to go too big?

Speaker 4 (01:45:47):
Yes?

Speaker 48 (01:45:48):
Yes, And to be honest, you know, it was a
thought that counted.

Speaker 4 (01:45:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:45:51):
I think that's cute. That's cool. What's up, Bernard? Hello, Bernard?

Speaker 53 (01:45:55):
I don't like what you said.

Speaker 2 (01:45:56):
My name Bernard King, New York. Nag. We're gonna beat
them tonight and go distance and seven. What's going on?

Speaker 53 (01:46:10):
Listen, man, I've started dating again. I've been divorced for
a couple of years. And I went to I took
a I made reservations, and I took the young lady
to dinner, and when she got up to go to
the restroom, I stood up with her as a gentleman should,
and she stopped and froze, and she thought I was
leaving her at the restaurant. She's like, where are you going?

(01:46:31):
I was like, I'm not going anywhere. She's like, so,
why are you standing up? I was like, well, because
you're going to the restroom. And I was being a gentleman.
And she looked at me like I had three nipples
and three booths.

Speaker 6 (01:46:45):
Can I be honest, I've seen that movie, so like,
I understand that's supposed to be a gentlemanly thing to do,
but why why.

Speaker 5 (01:46:54):
Why stand up?

Speaker 2 (01:46:55):
Because because what you're doing is it's kind of like
the whole thing where they stand up for the president
or they stand up for kings and queens. I think
you're just being a gentleman saying that you're that special
to me that I'm going to actually make the effort
of doing something. I listen, here's the deal. Don't question it.
There are guys out there that, honestly, you know, will
take the last chair.

Speaker 29 (01:47:15):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:47:16):
By the way, Bernard, I got to tell you this,
this is so funny where you're talking about this being
a fifty you know, three year old guy or whatever, Right,
and you're now outdating again. That caller we had with
Second Date Update who called out the fact she's fifty
years old and now starting to date again. And she
was like, this is why I can't find a good

(01:47:37):
guy because there are women there. I think that's the thing.
You might be the guy. Why don't we set you
up with whoever that caller was from yesterday? What do
you think?

Speaker 4 (01:47:46):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:47:46):
No, no, no, no she was she was too much?
No no no no no no no no she was great.
No no, no, no no not not the second date update, Lydia.
You know what I'm talking about, right, the woman that
contacted and called and stuff. It might have been. And
we should see if she if she's listening to the show.
She listens every day, if she's twenty four hours later,
could you imagine if we could have a listener love

(01:48:06):
connection here.

Speaker 5 (01:48:07):
I'll be great to get yourself some Bernard, baby.

Speaker 2 (01:48:10):
Bernard, what's up? Although I got Do people call you
Bernie for short?

Speaker 4 (01:48:16):
Or what do you do?

Speaker 2 (01:48:17):
What do you they call you?

Speaker 13 (01:48:19):
They call me?

Speaker 2 (01:48:22):
Is mama name? I'm gonna call him, but no, we'll
talk to you later, buddy, Thank you, all right? See
you man?

Speaker 19 (01:48:29):
The only person nicer than a guy trying to sleep
with you is a guy trying to sleep with you
for the first time.

Speaker 3 (01:48:35):
This is mo Jie in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:48:37):
All right, we're gonna give you a chance to win
a car. This is it? Just two more. We're counting
it down. I'm Ryan Seacrest. This is eighteen forty. We're
counting down to the last person that we're gonna qualify
in an hour from now. But eight four to four
Mojo Live eight four four six six five six five
four eight to ninety fifth caller qualify to win a
brand new car that we will give away tomorrow morning.

(01:48:59):
Right here from Iran eight four to four julyve we.

Speaker 4 (01:49:04):
Jo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:49:06):
All right, Shannon, what do you got this Hour's Dirty
on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (01:49:08):
I know you guys saw this video because we were
talking about it in our pre show meeting. A fan
at Pittsburgh's NC Park fell over the outfield wall and
onto the track yesterday during the Pirates matchup with the
Chicago Cubs.

Speaker 2 (01:49:21):
I want to hear the story. Oh yeah, it's this morning.

Speaker 41 (01:49:25):
Baseball fans left in shock after a man fell from
the bleachers at Pittsburgh's PNC Park landing on the field
during the Pirates game.

Speaker 33 (01:49:33):
When you look at it like in slow mo, he
just looked like he was like like jolting up because
it was a huge play.

Speaker 41 (01:49:40):
So Bobby Ketter shot the video showing the fan dropping
about twenty feet. He says, at first he had no
idea he captured the fall.

Speaker 33 (01:49:47):
Next thing, you know, the girl behind me was like, hey,
did you record that? And my dad next to me,
he was like, look at the stretchers in the outfield.

Speaker 41 (01:49:54):
Players were seen frantically trying to alert umpires and security
as the man lay on the warning track.

Speaker 56 (01:49:59):
The fact of how it went down and then you know,
laying motionless well like while the play's going on. It's
extremely unfortunate. I mean, that's an understatement.

Speaker 3 (01:50:10):
The game was paused for about ten minutes.

Speaker 41 (01:50:12):
Players took a knee as medical personnel loaded the man
onto a cart, rushing him to the hospital.

Speaker 2 (01:50:17):
Absolute very.

Speaker 33 (01:50:19):
No scary moment, and I just kind of think, you
can't see, like everybody's taking the knee and just praying
and hoping everything's okay.

Speaker 41 (01:50:27):
People have died from falls at baseball stadiums, including in
twenty fifteen when a Braves fan fell from the upper
deck at Turner Field, and in twenty eleven, a man
at a Rangers game died after falling about twenty feet
reaching for a ball for his son tossed into the
stands by a player. Major League Baseball has taken steps
to improve safety, recently requiring each team to expand netting

(01:50:49):
that protects fans from foul balls. The Pirates reacting to
last night's incidents, saying their thoughts and prayers are with
him and his family. That man was listed in critical
condition overnight. Pittsburgh Police say detectives from the Violent Crime
Unit are investigating, but did not elaborate on what may
have leaned.

Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
He hit his head.

Speaker 8 (01:51:06):
There was blood on his face.

Speaker 2 (01:51:08):
Yeah, he feil from like three stories.

Speaker 26 (01:51:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:51:11):
I was in a suite at LCA for a Pistons game.
Doctor Jamie Reynolds took me. I don't know how people
don't fall out of those suites. Yes, yes, you get close,
the actual glass is low and you get close to
the side trying to take a picture, and all it
takes is a little misfooting and whatever you're gonna go
right or that's scary to think that interesting though that

(01:51:32):
the reporter said that the violent Crimes Unit is investigating it. Yeah,
there was something weird to that tape, that video. It
looked like the guy almost jumped and leaped out, but
I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:51:43):
I don't think so.

Speaker 6 (01:51:44):
So first of all, it's a baseball game. I'm not
trying to make assumptions. I just speaking for myself. I
drink at baseball games. That railing is super low, and
he jumped out of excitement. I truly think he jumped
and it was like holding on and lost his bound
and it's low.

Speaker 8 (01:52:03):
Are they Are you thinking like somebody pushed him?

Speaker 5 (01:52:05):
Is that you're saying or I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:52:06):
Want to know, I want or he jumped. It doesn't
look like weird, all right.

Speaker 7 (01:52:12):
Haley Bieber is getting dragged this morning my fans for
seemingly copying one of Selena Gomez's pat past speeches.

Speaker 8 (01:52:21):
I mean kind of word for a word at one part.

Speaker 7 (01:52:23):
Last Thursday, Haley, who founded Road Beauty, gave a speech
to accept the Award for Beauty Innovator at the Daily
front Rows Annual Fashion Awards.

Speaker 6 (01:52:32):
When I started Road, I didn't want to start a
brand for the sake of starting a brand.

Speaker 5 (01:52:36):
I really wanted to create an entire world.

Speaker 6 (01:52:38):
And something that I say often is welcome to the
world of Road, because to me, road isn't just products, it's.

Speaker 2 (01:52:45):
A feeling, it's a lifestyle, it's a place.

Speaker 8 (01:52:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:52:48):
So that line in Haley's speech, fans noticed was almost
verbatim to what Selena said in a statement from an
interview she did back in twenty twenty one, where she said,
I don't want to launch a makeup line for the
sake to launch a brand. What interests me is cultivating
beauty from the inside. Fans now sharing side by side

(01:53:09):
images of the transcription of those speeches on TikTok. After
the Lakers were eliminated from the playoffs yesterday, Lebron James
asked about the potential of retirements something.

Speaker 56 (01:53:21):
The only thing is it's up to me or if
I want to, you know, continue to play, or how
long I want to continue to play.

Speaker 2 (01:53:25):
It's ultimately up to me. So it has nothing to
do with bout anybody else. Lebron, I don't think he retires.
What happened to Luca and Lebron? These guys were the
you know, the team, the dream team. A lost man.
I liked, by the way, I like this side. What's
his name, ant man or an eversitary. Yeah, this guy

(01:53:47):
is unbelievable and many people think that he is the
son of Michael Jordan and they're just not saying it,
so that would mean that Michael is the goat. It's interesting.

Speaker 7 (01:53:58):
Congratulations goes out to the guy who caused our longtime
five at six point fifty five, Champ desiret I'll lose today,
But it was Calvin Harris and Vic Hope who are
expecting their first baby together. The baby news comes about
two years after they got married. And I want to
shout out Holly Campbell and Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell,

(01:54:22):
the cutest couple in the whole entire world, by the way.
But they were at the ac DC concert last night
and she posted some photos in a video and the
caption was MCDC at ACDC. That's great MotorCity, Dan Campbell
at ACDC.

Speaker 2 (01:54:38):
This, by the way, is this is ac DC last
night at ford Field.

Speaker 3 (01:54:45):
Dude that crowd.

Speaker 2 (01:54:50):
Worked in gabble time on this production Live for all.

Speaker 7 (01:54:54):
Of today started cut Up on the podcast or Mode
You in the morning in the free iHeartRadio app Why.

Speaker 2 (01:54:58):
Is somebody not remade this song? They shouldn't something? It's well,
can you imagine remaking everything? I know, but it would
be such a great song. Or sample it for like
a rap song or something. I don't know. Ce jerked.

Speaker 4 (01:55:30):
In the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:55:33):
All right, what do we have here? Hold on a second.
I got a special surprise after we grabbed the winner. Mo, Mo,
you're a winner. Congratulation.

Speaker 10 (01:55:45):
Hey, finally I got through.

Speaker 34 (01:55:47):
I've been calling like for two weeks straight.

Speaker 2 (01:55:50):
Buddy, you're in congratulations. You could be winning a new car.
Thank you, Thank you man. We'll see you tomorrow. Okay,
we'll see you tomorrow at Moran tomorrow morning. Make sure
that you are there bright and early so that you
can win a brand new car. All right, I'll see
you guys there. All right, another chance, the last chance

(01:56:12):
coming up here in just a little bit, real quick,
we come back with Bernard. Bernard's back with us. Bernard, Yes, sir,
it was not Evelyn. It was Mona. That call, do
you remember?

Speaker 5 (01:56:27):
Forget about you?

Speaker 40 (01:56:28):
Mona?

Speaker 2 (01:56:28):
Mona?

Speaker 51 (01:56:29):
Hi, Yes, morning, hello, and yes Bernard, I am ready
and you will not regret this.

Speaker 2 (01:56:40):
I like it. I love then, I like it. Mona listen.

Speaker 35 (01:56:46):
It is trying to bring back real love in America.

Speaker 26 (01:56:50):
It is.

Speaker 51 (01:56:51):
Women who do not know how to communicate to someone.
They want today, tell them what you want, tell them
what you you your knees are listen to. But if
the man doesn't call you, doesn't pull out the chair.

Speaker 2 (01:57:06):
Doesn't come on, Hey, mona, let me ask you this.
We got a good looking man here on the phone.
You're a beautiful lady. Maybe maybe we get you guys
together in the studio some morning so you can meet
face to face. Can we work on that?

Speaker 27 (01:57:21):
We'd love to.

Speaker 51 (01:57:23):
That is so wonderful for you guys to even offer
thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:57:27):
I would love to Bernard, any questions you would like
to ask. Would you like to ask her?

Speaker 53 (01:57:31):
No, listen, man, I've been I've been out here dating
for a little bit, and so no, no questions.

Speaker 2 (01:57:36):
She's breathing, she's breathing, had and she's she's talking to
talk and she knows what she wants. She wants to
She wants a guy that's gonna be just kind. This
is a guy that stands up when you go to
the bathroom. Hold on, beautiful, Hold on, guys, hold on,

(01:57:57):
We're gonna talk more. Okay, I like this idea. Yeah, listener,
love affair here right? You and your new man are so.

Speaker 19 (01:58:04):
Happy, which is why he's dming his ex girlfriend behind
your back. Another War of the Roses is after nine
on Mojo.

Speaker 3 (01:58:10):
In the Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:58:11):
Don't go Anywhere Megan and some of her last words
on the Mojo in the Morning show coming up next.

Speaker 3 (01:58:19):
Damn girl, you look good. I cheat on me too.

Speaker 2 (01:58:23):
Wait.

Speaker 3 (01:58:23):
Another War of the roses is after nine on Mojo
in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (01:58:27):
War of the Roses is an interesting one. She kept
seeing a text coming through on her boyfriend's phone and
he seemed really interested. Whenever he would get this text,
she asked, who's texting you? And he said, oh, it's
a client or a customer. And she's like, oh who,
and he said is this guy? And that was It

(01:58:49):
kind of left it at that, but then it kept
on going and going and going. So she then got
that number, made the phone call and a woman answered
the phone. She talked to that woman. Coming up, Hary
in just a little bit, you're going to hear that
War of the Roses. We did a three way call
with him and her and you'll hear that. But if

(01:59:10):
you want to listen to it and you don't have
time like here now, or you want to listen to it,
you know asap. You can listen to it right now.
It's up on podcast, so you can search for it
right now. It's pretty easy to find. It's the War
of the Roses and it is titled his Guy in
quotes clients, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. For those

(01:59:32):
that have no clue, about two weeks ago, in the
big announcement that was made, we posted it on social media,
but we talked on the air. It was honestly a
shocker to me when she had come to me and said, Hey,
I'm gonna want to move on from the show and
move on from radio. Megan is leaving the show and

(01:59:55):
tomorrow is actually her last official day, but today is
her last day in studio. So for those that don't
know how it all started with Megan, Megan with this
show with Mojo in the Morning was an interesting one
because she had been on radio in Toledo for a
number of years, started as an intern, ended up working

(02:00:17):
into a co host on the Kiss Morning Show. I
got to know her when the company asked me, Hey,
would you work with these guys and just kind of
share ideas and stuff like that. I got to meet
Eric and Demetrius and Sarah and Megan, and it was
wild because she was definitely somebody that stuck out like
a sore thumb, because with the rest of the group,

(02:00:40):
she was by far the least season of people. And
what I mean that was she was definitely the youngest.
She also was probably the least jaded because she had
not been like bouncing around radio stations and been fired.
I knew Eric for some time. Eric Jay, who's honestly

(02:01:01):
a very very talented guy, worked here in town for
many years of ninety three to one DRQ love him.
And he also was a program guy down you know,
he's program director and stuff down in Toledo. Very smart guy.
I didn't know Demetrius much, but I had heard of him,
you know, and I knew his reputation was that he
was very, very funny. And I knew of Sarah her

(02:01:24):
and her great talents, but also knew that she comes
from a media family because her husband was on television
in the market.

Speaker 57 (02:01:31):
They were Toledo's power couple, the power couple. Now you
and I are the power couple. So what I do
this big build up of this whole thing. When our
radio show was going to be on in Toledo, the
conversation was, Hey, we would love to keep somebody from
that show, and the conversation was who do you want
to want to keep? And when Demetrius turned me down,

(02:01:55):
I said, well what about me? Now, I'm just kidding it.

Speaker 5 (02:01:59):
It'll never see no.

Speaker 2 (02:02:00):
I said Megan. And I said Megan for one very
good reason. And Tony reminded me of this. I said, Megan,
because that I wanted to have somebody that was not
jaded towards radio and I don't. I wanted to have
somebody that didn't develop the radio habits. I wanted somebody
that could come here and be on the show and

(02:02:23):
be a little bit of a difference maker, so to speak.
And she really was. And she started on the show
at an awkward time because you went on maternity leave,
so people all of a sudden started thinking that. All
of our Detroit listeners started thinking, who is this?

Speaker 27 (02:02:36):
You know?

Speaker 6 (02:02:37):
So I replaced clean San, I did it. I wanted
you to come back just as badly as everybody else.

Speaker 2 (02:02:44):
And then it became then it became a okay, this
is in I kept saying to Megan, don't read the comments.
Don't people every everything. It's like, if I can just
sit there, my words for Megan on my Megan tombstone
will be don't read the comments. So long story short,

(02:03:04):
she did a fabulous job and she made us all proud.
She always valued Toledo, even to a point where I
kept forgetting you know many many times that you know,
we have to be mindful of the fact that we
have listeners all over the place, but Toledo is a

(02:03:24):
very special place radio wise. It's a great radio market.
This radio station that we're on in Toledo is a powerhouse.
And but you have always been there their protector.

Speaker 5 (02:03:36):
So yes, they're my people.

Speaker 2 (02:03:38):
So Maganie, I'm gonna let you talk from here. I'm
done talking about you.

Speaker 5 (02:03:41):
So I wrote a eulogy that I thought you guys
might want to hear. And this is it a eulogy
for my radio career. Okay, I guys, ready, somebody seems
very invested or emotional. I put a lot of effort
into this.

Speaker 2 (02:03:55):
Well, once you speak, probably that's when the emotion will come.

Speaker 6 (02:03:59):
Lady and gentlemen, friends, listeners, confuse, podcast subscribers and those
who still think that I just push buttons and talk.

Speaker 5 (02:04:09):
We are gathered here today to mourn the passing my
beloved radio career.

Speaker 6 (02:04:15):
After years of caffeine field mornings and live reads and
mispronounced celebrity names and panicked FCC compliance checks, I lay
this wild, wonderful, barely regulated chapter of my life to rest.

Speaker 5 (02:04:29):
To begin, I must thank the man, the myth, and
the morning Mike Legend. Mojo, Mojo, you were more than
a host.

Speaker 6 (02:04:37):
You were a guide, a mentor, a guy with really
an endless supply of golf polos and dad advice. You
taught me how to show up, to speak up, and
honestly sometimes shut up just before the segment runs too long.
And your faith in me, even when I was fumbling
for words, meant more than I can ever say, though

(02:04:57):
everybody knows I did try on air during.

Speaker 5 (02:04:59):
A ratings book to really keep talking. Jannon, you are
my north star.

Speaker 6 (02:05:07):
You are a powerhouse in heels because you're so short
and your mascara never runs, except the hundreds of times
we were drunk together talking about how much we want
each other. You have had so many moments of wisdom
with me that hit deeper than I mean anything, so
thank you so much for that. I don't think that
I would be the woman I am today without you
telling me how to do everything like everything. Your strength,

(02:05:32):
empathy and perfectly timed sarcasm at the right moments for
me to call me out on my bs are just
everything I value in life. You are the gold standard
and working with you has made me a better person,
a better woman, a better radio person, talent whatever, I'm
not looking at you anymore, Okay to keV my walking

(02:05:53):
FCC violation risk. You keep me terrified and laughing. You
give me heart palpitations every time you grab the mic
and say can I say this on air?

Speaker 2 (02:06:02):
Or no?

Speaker 6 (02:06:03):
I can definitely say that on air when it's not
able to be said on air. Ever, I still don't
know if we legally can play all of our segments,
because I think we should still go back and review.
But you brought fire and fun and that are we
about to get fined energy? And that makes morning super, unpredictable, unforgettable.

(02:06:24):
Really appreciate you, Zach. I hope you're in your studio
listening because I can't hear you. But you are my
sweet golden retriever.

Speaker 5 (02:06:32):
Sould Zach.

Speaker 6 (02:06:33):
If loyalty and good vibes are a person, it would
be you. You are my human serotonin boost.

Speaker 5 (02:06:39):
I love you so much.

Speaker 6 (02:06:41):
You could walk into a tornado and somehow make it
feel very calm and fun for me. And I really
appreciate the fact that I don't think there's anybody around
here that I talk to more throughout the day. And
it doesn't matter if I called you at five in
the morning or eleven o'clock at night.

Speaker 5 (02:06:58):
You always answered the phone and we're just like, hey, buddy,
how can I help?

Speaker 6 (02:07:02):
And I really just appreciate you and I love you
so much and your ability to fist bump through all
of our trauma Lydia to our in house hype woman
and parties are Nobody could turn a Tuesday into a
themed event quite like you. Valentine's Day Boom, the Core
Treats Vibes. Not only do you make the studio feel
like home with a touch of pinterest, let's be honest,

(02:07:24):
and a little bit of glitter, but you always made
sure that everything was acknowledged and brought up, and you're
on top of everything, and you're just a powerhouse leader. Bianca,
My Ride or Die Bianca. You are the kind of
TV that people dream up. Okay, I need people to
know how much you do around here. You drop everything

(02:07:45):
to help me all of the time, like it does
not matter what is going on. You have saved shows
for me, You've saved my sanity. You make everything feel
a little bit more manageable because anytime I need something
super last minute, you show up.

Speaker 5 (02:07:59):
And I'm just super grateful to you.

Speaker 6 (02:08:03):
You are the one everybody should have in their corner,
and lucky enough for me, I did have you in
my corner.

Speaker 5 (02:08:07):
So thank you. So here lies my radio career.

Speaker 6 (02:08:12):
It's full of chaos and laughter and unexpected on air
confessions the occasional slip of profanity, which has not happened
in a while. So hey, oh, I had such a
good run with this, you guys. It was loud, it
was unpredictable, it was fun, but most importantly, it was ours.

Speaker 5 (02:08:36):
And I am so grateful to all of you. Yeah,
thank you, everybody, love you.

Speaker 2 (02:08:45):
And thank you. Thank you for making us better began. Yeah,
you will understand uh one day. And I always said
that I didn't understand this until I think I turned fifth,
So you got some time before you can understand this,
but you all understand one day, how every current day

(02:09:07):
that you're in is the greatest day you'll ever have.
I like that, and you look back on certain things
and when you look back on them and you go, God,
if I can only relive. And I have always been
a person that lived, has lived in the past, You're
living in the present. By yeah body, I am. I
still don't understand it, but it's not for money to understand.

(02:09:30):
But I am. I'm happy for you, and be quite
honest with you, I'm I'm happy for all of us
that we got a chance to work with you, because
I think you set the bar for where we have
to go with how the show goes. Yeah, dog, I
want to say thank you.

Speaker 9 (02:09:47):
I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience working with you, from you
being in Toledo and having to spend time with you
virtually so you making that move and that big jump
to Detroit. It was a great energy when you came
into the studio for like, we vibed and we clicked instantly.
We had a podcast a while ago where we talked
about first impressions and we had a conversation about that.

(02:10:09):
I had a different experience of a first impression with
you virtually, but when you came in the studio, my
first impression was I had my first ever commercial and
I didn't know how to record anything, and Megan was like, oh, babes,
come on, and then brought me into the studio, showed
me how to record my first commercial and look at
me now. And then she showed me how to record

(02:10:30):
my first show and did like my first couple of
shows with me Saturdays from eight to now. And now
I'm off running and we you know, we've had our
contentious moments and we've had our real conversations, but I
think through it all hopefully you know that I love
you and that I care about you, and I enjoyed
working with you. Thank you a a dope ass person.

(02:10:51):
And I appreciate your fight, you know, fighting for the
things that you love, regardless of how many people are
on your side during that fight. That's something I resonate with.
I love how you put on for the black community
in particular. You come with your facts and your receipts,
and I know who led the groundwork for me. I
appreciate you, and yeah, I'm a misi.

Speaker 2 (02:11:12):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 7 (02:11:14):
Oh don't look at me. I don't even want to
open my mouth because I feel like I'm just crying.
I love you, I am, I am being going to
be very honest. I'm struggling so hard with it because
I feel like I still want you to change.

Speaker 5 (02:11:29):
Your damn mind.

Speaker 7 (02:11:32):
I am excited for the next chapter of this show.
I also am dreading Monday morning coming in here and
senior chair empty. I wasn't even sure I liked you
it first, and that is no secret to anybody, because
in this business, you know, they bring in another very
talented female and you think you're being pushed out. And
I was already just in a really fragile state with

(02:11:55):
things that were happening in my marriage behind the scenes.
I just had a baby, you know, my hormones were
all over the place. And then there's this superstar that
is filling in for me, and I come back and
I'm like, I don't I don't know how I feel
about this situation, you know, I mean, it was it
was truly a lesson for me of there is room
for everybody in a room and on a radio show.

(02:12:15):
And then my heart started to soften and I feel
like we became friends, very very quickly, and you have
just been not only a great co worker and a
great co host, but such a good friend to me
and my family and my kids.

Speaker 45 (02:12:32):
And I mean we have.

Speaker 8 (02:12:37):
We have gone through a lot together.

Speaker 7 (02:12:39):
One of my favorite memories of you, my very first
memories with you, is when I came back from Eternity
leave and we would, you know, do live broadcasts. I
would have to pump in the car and Megan would
come and sit with me, and I'm like, so these
are my boobs. I've known you for like two days,
but here we go, and it, you know, just kind
of escalated from there, our time rooming together in Vegas,

(02:13:00):
where I learned so many things about you that I
don't think I needed to know, but it just all
these things brought us closer and getting very very drunk
in front of listeners together on a Facebook live during COVID.
If you were a part of that, you remember Meghan
and I to doing all of the charity work we've
done together with New Day, And you know, I am

(02:13:21):
I'm so sad selfishly, but I am so happy for
you because I know that this is the best decision
to make for the best Megan, and I also know
that I'm probably gonna talk to you all the time.

Speaker 5 (02:13:33):
I am going to talk to you all the time anyway.

Speaker 8 (02:13:34):
But it's it is.

Speaker 5 (02:13:37):
It's not fun. It'll be fine. It'll be so much
fine you're gonna have. So let's be honest. Well, Mojo
gets a new shiny toy. He's the most fun.

Speaker 2 (02:13:47):
Mojo done, Megan. I love your smile, I really do,
and I want you to keep on smiling. Can deserve it.
Thank you, and if not, drink and be.

Speaker 4 (02:14:00):
Tonight.

Speaker 58 (02:14:00):
As I have question, is this a good topic or
a bad topic?

Speaker 37 (02:14:05):
I am what do we say?

Speaker 11 (02:14:07):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (02:14:07):
Comfortably poor?

Speaker 26 (02:14:10):
Somebody?

Speaker 58 (02:14:12):
Is it okay to say that I am comfortable spending
a small limits amounts of random money, but not large
amounts because I still need a savings account. Comfortably poor?

Speaker 5 (02:14:25):
Pay you in context?

Speaker 2 (02:14:27):
Keep keep on sending us drunk dial Twicemail's place.

Speaker 1 (02:14:33):
On Detroits Toledo, three great stations, one stupid show.

Speaker 2 (02:14:43):
This is Mojo in the Morning Live, and she ain't
going anywhere because she's got to be with us tomorrow
or she doesn't get her final paycheck, so she will
be with us tomorrow at morn. I need that over
there so you can come out and meet Megan at
Moran Chevrolet grash It Road in Clinton Township.

Speaker 3 (02:15:04):
Catching cheaters, I'm proud of it. I'm sorry. Get your
home for Boar of the Roses unload you in the morning.

Speaker 2 (02:15:11):
So, Chloe, you think that your boyfriend is cheating on
you and it's because he keeps getting the same number
texting him a bunch of times. Yeah, and what is
the number saying? Can you read the text that are
coming in?

Speaker 27 (02:15:28):
No, so I can't see the messages the way that
the texts have been, but I can see the number,
and I don't know it.

Speaker 4 (02:15:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:15:39):
Have you said anything to him, like what's going on?
Who's texting you?

Speaker 16 (02:15:44):
He keeps saying that it's a client.

Speaker 28 (02:15:47):
And he's in sales.

Speaker 2 (02:15:49):
You don't believe it.

Speaker 27 (02:15:52):
No, I called the member and it was a girl
who picked up when he had only told me that
this client was a guy. And I asked her if
she had a new relationship with my boyfriend or any
flirting and she said no.

Speaker 3 (02:16:10):
Wait, so you wait think you called?

Speaker 2 (02:16:13):
You called the number and actually talked to what he
said as his client, and you said that you were
his girlfriend and you confronted her.

Speaker 27 (02:16:25):
Well, I asked if she had a new relationship with
him or flirting and she said no, and I.

Speaker 7 (02:16:32):
You just have this ceiling, and I get that she
comes she's not telling the right off the bat. You know,
he's not telling the truth because he said the client
was a guy.

Speaker 2 (02:16:42):
Exactly, but still I can't believe it does. So did
he confront you about calling her? Or does he like
what happened after that?

Speaker 27 (02:16:53):
Nothing? Nothing happened, which is also what's weird.

Speaker 2 (02:16:57):
Oh, I mean if that, well, if he's not cheating
on you and you just called up a female client
or some client and accuse them of something like that,
I would probably be pissed and I would say something Yeah,
But if he's not saying anything to you, then there's
definitely something going on.

Speaker 10 (02:17:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 27 (02:17:18):
I just want them to call each other, and I
just really want to listen to how they interact.

Speaker 2 (02:17:23):
So, Kevin, what would you do if a girl did this?
Like if somebody grabbed your phone and started calling the
girl or the other numbers that are calling you or
texting you.

Speaker 9 (02:17:32):
I mean, hopefully the people who answered on another line
were exactly as I told her.

Speaker 2 (02:17:36):
They would be yeah, right, okay, But would you be pissed?

Speaker 37 (02:17:44):
Though?

Speaker 2 (02:17:44):
That she's that she's following up and making that call
pot me. It just highlights that our relationship isn't stable.

Speaker 5 (02:17:53):
But then that would fall on her and not on
you and your behaviors.

Speaker 2 (02:17:57):
We're going to do a three way call War of
the Roses, Chloe. We're going to dial up your boyfriend.
His name is Noah, and we're going to call that
number and we're going to see who answers this time.
What if it's a guy then answers. Maybe it was
a one time deal and somebody had answered the phone.
Let's find out. All right, we're the Roses three way

(02:18:18):
call here on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Mute
your phone, all right, let's do it.

Speaker 29 (02:18:37):
Hello, Hello, answer, Hey, it's me.

Speaker 17 (02:18:53):
Oh Hey, what's up?

Speaker 39 (02:18:58):
Not much?

Speaker 25 (02:18:58):
How you doing?

Speaker 59 (02:19:00):
Okay?

Speaker 17 (02:19:01):
Okay, what are you doing? Good? That's kind that's going on.

Speaker 3 (02:19:14):
Yeah, not much.

Speaker 5 (02:19:21):
He just called to say not mine.

Speaker 10 (02:19:24):
Did I thought you called me?

Speaker 2 (02:19:27):
No?

Speaker 26 (02:19:27):
He called me?

Speaker 17 (02:19:29):
Why Why would I ask who it is if.

Speaker 5 (02:19:31):
I called you?

Speaker 10 (02:19:33):
Oh my god, I'm so confused.

Speaker 17 (02:19:38):
They're called for any like particular reason, just.

Speaker 13 (02:19:42):
Just to say hey, yeah, I guess yeah, for sure,
you're just thinking of me.

Speaker 37 (02:19:56):
I was.

Speaker 10 (02:19:59):
Oh, definitely it was.

Speaker 17 (02:20:03):
Here that.

Speaker 10 (02:20:06):
Yeah, No, I definitely have not stopped thinking about you.

Speaker 2 (02:20:13):
Mean too, Yeah, what do you do right now?

Speaker 31 (02:20:25):
I'm just making some more calls and stuff, But like, yeah,
I probably should have come back to that, But I
I feel like a little wondering how a phone called
each other. I'm kind of figure that out, I guess.

Speaker 2 (02:20:45):
No, yeah, Noah, maybe we should actually just come right
on and tell you what's going on, just so that
you can figure out a way to get an answer
to this. Okay, Noah, you have no c what's going
on right now?

Speaker 4 (02:21:02):
Do you?

Speaker 55 (02:21:04):
How was that?

Speaker 2 (02:21:06):
Noah, this is the Mojo in the Morning show, and
your girlfriend Chloe called us up because she wanted to
know what was going on between you and this girl
that you're talking to right now, and so she asked
us to call both of you guys up to see
what you sounded like when you guys had a conversation

(02:21:26):
with each other, and it sounds like there is something happening.
He hung up and she just hung up. Chloe, when
you had a conversation with this girl that he's been

(02:21:48):
talking to, did she sound like that when she was
talking to you or does she sound different? To you
right now talking to him, because she sounded very flirty
with him. Yeah, she didn't sound like that with me,
so she sounded more just normal.

Speaker 16 (02:22:06):
Yeah, she just sounded like a person because.

Speaker 2 (02:22:08):
When she heard his voice is when she kind of
changed her tone.

Speaker 5 (02:22:11):
Oh yeah, yeah, she up, didn't she?

Speaker 4 (02:22:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:22:16):
Hang hang on and we will try to see if
we get them back. I don't think we ever do.
But it's it's it's tough to uh to say and
then let's uh, let's talk some more with you.

Speaker 55 (02:22:26):
Okay, okay, busted again about that on the bench, it's
your home for Boar of the Roses Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:22:39):

Speaker 3 (02:23:12):
This is the home Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (02:23:17):
Mojo in the morning, wore the roses. We just made
the call and did a three way call war of
the Roses to Chloe's boyfriend and the guy client will
put it in quotes. It turned out to be not
a guy. It turned out to be a girl. And
Chloe actually had called and already had kind of had

(02:23:39):
conversations with her in Chloe. Listeners are texting us right
now that are saying that you're out of line for
going in his phone and grabbing that phone number to call.

Speaker 10 (02:23:49):
You're chilling, all right.

Speaker 2 (02:23:51):
I mean, I'll let you defend yourself. Your your I mean,
I thought it was a little over the over the
top two but obviously you want to know that you're
not getting lied to. What do you got to say?

Speaker 27 (02:24:05):
It's my relationship. We've been together for years, and I
just clearly something that's going on. And while the methods
may not be that's the coal. Clearly there was something
that I clearly there was something going on enough that

(02:24:27):
it made.

Speaker 10 (02:24:28):
It worth me calling.

Speaker 2 (02:24:30):
Yeah. I mean, honestly, I think that when you're in
a desperate time, you call, you do those.

Speaker 7 (02:24:38):
Things that you ordinarily, when you're in your right mind,
would not do. Yeah, I have been there, but still it's.

Speaker 16 (02:24:49):
And you can clearly something was going on. Well here,
clearly something's going on.

Speaker 6 (02:24:55):
Yeah, I mean she sounded flirty, and to be quite honest,
I don't think he sounded very.

Speaker 5 (02:24:59):
Flirty with her.

Speaker 6 (02:25:01):
He just came off a little bit confused. But I
think where his red flag was was he told you
that it was a dude and it was a girl.
So he's clearly lying about it. But I didn't even
get that much flirty vibes from him.

Speaker 5 (02:25:13):
I did from her. Interesting, Well why did he hang up?

Speaker 53 (02:25:17):
Though?

Speaker 11 (02:25:17):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:25:18):
I agree.

Speaker 6 (02:25:19):
I mean, he's given you the red flags, but it
wasn't as overt as I kind of was expecting.

Speaker 2 (02:25:26):
Yeah, hang on one second again, hang on Joe in
the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:25:33):
What uh?

Speaker 2 (02:25:34):
What's up? Scarlet?

Speaker 4 (02:25:35):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (02:25:35):
How you doing Hi?

Speaker 28 (02:25:38):
Did you guys notice the way she changed her voice
as soon as she knew it was him.

Speaker 2 (02:25:44):
Yeah, yet.

Speaker 28 (02:25:47):
That even came her whole tone and everything.

Speaker 2 (02:25:51):
I thought he was flirty, though I think Megan. Megan
maybe not as flirty as she was, but I thought
that he was kind of flirty with her too.

Speaker 6 (02:26:00):
I just think that sometimes when we hear these calls,
the guys get like they flip a switch right away
and they're like, h let me get it was this
home that I'm into, Whereas she flipped the switch right away,
and it felt like he like kind of matched her
and kind of didn't.

Speaker 7 (02:26:14):
You don't think he was still very confused about what
had happened and how they were, you know, calling each other.

Speaker 5 (02:26:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:26:21):
I wasn't trying to be mean, but what I wanted
to say was he was just he came off dumber
than flirtier.

Speaker 2 (02:26:27):
Wait when she said when he said something kind of
like I'm mindy or whatever, and she goes me.

Speaker 8 (02:26:32):
Too, I think I can't thinking about you or whatever?

Speaker 2 (02:26:36):
Yeah, me too.

Speaker 5 (02:26:36):
But it was she was prompting him because she was like,
were you thinking about me? You know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (02:26:40):
Like, but remember he's already guilty. He said that it
was a girl, or that it was a guy. Excuse me,
and it was a girl?

Speaker 2 (02:26:48):
Agreed, Don, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 13 (02:26:52):
Mojo.

Speaker 17 (02:26:52):
You interrupted way too soon.

Speaker 38 (02:26:54):
We didn't get enough like information.

Speaker 28 (02:26:56):
There was screol.

Speaker 2 (02:26:58):
Hey, well here's the thing, Don, when you host your
own radio show one day, you can no, I'm just kidding,
it's gone.

Speaker 3 (02:27:06):
And I would have keeped them on the phone.

Speaker 2 (02:27:08):
He was about to hang up. He was getting ready
to hang up the phone. I have to anticipate that
because I'm gonna be quite honest with you. We do
these things all the time where we tape these things,
and we can never get the person to pick up
the phone ever again the moment that I get disconnected
with them, So I have to be able to jump
on at the time that I think that it's about
to happen. So if it was way too early for you,

(02:27:29):
go back and listen to it again, because if you
can sense that he was about to.

Speaker 25 (02:27:32):
Hang up, there was just nothing incriminating yet, just a
little bit of minor flirting. There's no proof.

Speaker 2 (02:27:38):
Okay, wait, there's nothing incriminating over the fact he said
that this is a guy co worker.

Speaker 25 (02:27:44):
That well, that is incriminating, but maybe they're just flirty.
That doesn't mean anything going on.

Speaker 2 (02:27:49):
Then there's nothing incriminating over the fact that he was
that they talked about how much they enjoyed being with
each other.

Speaker 15 (02:27:57):
I didn't hear that.

Speaker 25 (02:27:58):
I heard something about I miss you or something her
I'm thinking.

Speaker 8 (02:28:00):
About you that and he agreed he couldn't stop thinking
about her.

Speaker 2 (02:28:04):
Too.

Speaker 11 (02:28:05):
That's where you go.

Speaker 25 (02:28:07):
Something that's going on, or maybe they just like each other.

Speaker 5 (02:28:10):
See, that's where I'm having I think they're crossing the line.

Speaker 6 (02:28:13):
I want it to be very clear. I don't think
this guy is innocent, but I don't know how far
it's gone.

Speaker 2 (02:28:19):
Let's go back and listen. I think exactly. Yes, hold on,
we're going to listen with you, Don because hypercritical here
put her put her down as a texture.

Speaker 28 (02:28:27):
Hypercritical.

Speaker 5 (02:28:28):
I'm with you, Don.

Speaker 7 (02:28:30):
Also, if a male coworker calls me like aside from
you guys, because we, you know, talk all day long,
but like.

Speaker 5 (02:28:38):
A salesperson, my first question is what do you need?
Or like, what's going on?

Speaker 7 (02:28:44):
It's not we just don't dive into a very comfortable conversation.
I'm inquisitive about why the phone call is happening.

Speaker 10 (02:28:53):
I thought you.

Speaker 24 (02:28:57):
He called me?

Speaker 17 (02:28:59):
Why would I ask?

Speaker 13 (02:29:00):
What is if I called you?

Speaker 10 (02:29:02):
Oh my god, I'm so confused.

Speaker 17 (02:29:07):
They're called already like particular reasons just.

Speaker 13 (02:29:12):
To say hey, yeah, I guess yeah, for sure, you're
just thinking about me.

Speaker 2 (02:29:26):
I was, yeah, that's not flirty, that's not flirty.

Speaker 5 (02:29:29):
Done, I'm obligated.

Speaker 2 (02:29:38):
I got a boner, just listening to him.

Speaker 6 (02:29:40):
Okay, okay, if you take out the fact that he
lied about this being a guy's phone number and it's
a girl, right, we all agree he lied about that,
and that is a red flag. Right, you take that
out of this, and we call this girl up. It
seems like she's interested in him and he's awkwardly matching
her energy. Yeah, she's prouding everything.

Speaker 5 (02:30:01):
I still think he's in the wrong.

Speaker 10 (02:30:03):
Definitely was Yeah, yeah, no, I definitely have not stopped
thinking about you.

Speaker 2 (02:30:14):
I've not stopped thinking about you.

Speaker 3 (02:30:16):
Come on, Don, It's okay.

Speaker 5 (02:30:19):
They're a little flirty, you, guys. I just think I
don't like about her. She's the only defense I have.

Speaker 2 (02:30:26):
Exact. Don just wants to complain about something today. You
got it out of your system.

Speaker 7 (02:30:30):
Now go have a good day, Go have a Seriously,
maybe you hadn't already lied about who this person was.

Speaker 8 (02:30:40):
I know, but I'm saying that's two dings, flirtiness and
the lie.

Speaker 5 (02:30:44):
I agree.

Speaker 2 (02:30:45):
I'm going back to calls Stephanie. What's going on?

Speaker 35 (02:30:48):
Learning, guys, So listen my unprofessional opinion here.

Speaker 15 (02:30:53):
I've done you then, and I believe this guy's one
hundred and ten percent guilty. I mean, if he had
any for his wife. First off, that he wouldn't have
said that that was a male phone number, absolutely not.
And second because he as soon as he was confused
about how they can connect it on the phone, he
would have.

Speaker 2 (02:31:12):
Caught that off.

Speaker 15 (02:31:14):
Yeah, straight up, he would have cut that off right, write.

Speaker 40 (02:31:17):
It down way.

Speaker 15 (02:31:17):
Look, I don't know how you got old of me.

Speaker 35 (02:31:19):
I definitely shouldn't talk to you.

Speaker 2 (02:31:20):
It sounds like it sounds like they talk a lot.
It sounds like there's a lot of conversation going on.
It's not just a text exchange.

Speaker 15 (02:31:27):
The other thing is what has he done to lead
her on or make her believe that he was interested,
to make her that interested. I understand a workplace crush,
but that is not a workplace crush on eything.

Speaker 2 (02:31:40):
Yeah, I wonder if they even work together, to be
honest with you, I don't even think that they probably do.
It's probably some girl that he met somewhere else. What's up, Jessica?

Speaker 30 (02:31:49):
Oh hey, I might have had my radio too low
and mishard, but I thought someone like I thought she
said miss you, I miss you in there's somewhere, But
she might have said me too. But in that case,
they were discussing thinking about each other all the time,
and either way, you don't think about.

Speaker 5 (02:32:12):
Your co workers all the time.

Speaker 36 (02:32:14):
Even if he was feeling awkward, that continued after he
responded yes to.

Speaker 2 (02:32:20):
Her, Yeah, it definitely. And I go on to say
this that I wonder who this girl is, and I
wonder if they even do work together, are co workers,
or this is any kind of client. I think this
is just a girl that's a hookup. I really do, Whitney,
what's up?

Speaker 37 (02:32:39):
I just want to say, for the people that said
he didn't do anything incriminating, if you forgive cheeters, just
say that, because he is definitely geting. I think when
everyone's saying that he's not flirting much, if you really
listen to the call, he was suspicious from jump. So
I think with him being suspicious, it kind of set

(02:33:00):
back him being so flirty because he kept saying, well,
how did we get on the phone, how did you
call me? Of course you have to remember his girlfriend
already called the girl, so they already know a little
bit that something's going so she was already light.

Speaker 2 (02:33:14):
I think what was going on. I think that's interesting
that she confronted her in that that didn't become an
issue in this relationship. Jacqueline, what's up?

Speaker 38 (02:33:24):
Hey, good morning you guys. I just want to say
to the caller with who was this special little boyfriend.
Good for her for trusting her end things before someone
saying she crossed the line.

Speaker 17 (02:33:36):
Whatever.

Speaker 38 (02:33:37):
When it comes to this stuff, if you're committed to
someone and they're cheating on you and you're suspicious, you've.

Speaker 28 (02:33:41):
Got to follow through.

Speaker 38 (02:33:43):
And she's really smart and I give her credit.

Speaker 28 (02:33:45):
That guy's a douchebag.

Speaker 2 (02:33:46):
Yeah, thank you, Sandra, last call. What's up?

Speaker 4 (02:33:50):
First time?

Speaker 37 (02:33:50):
Long time?

Speaker 2 (02:33:54):
So glad I picked you up? What's going on?

Speaker 40 (02:33:56):
I want to say, there's definitely something going on. When
when she said are you thinking to me? And he
said I definitely was, and she was like me too.
Why if they were just friends, something happened all her,
all her red flags and her feelings inside were right.

Speaker 2 (02:34:13):
I'm jealous of that guy. Like all the time, I'm
thinking to myself, this guy's got literally this girl thinking
of him. I mean, what guy doesn't want to have
a girl thinking of you?

Speaker 7 (02:34:22):
And again, if somebody said that to you and there
was no romantic relationship with her, you'd be like Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:34:29):
Yeah, it'd make you feel like something's going on. Yeah,
all right, well there you go. Were the Roses. If
you missed it, I would suggest you go check out
the podcast up on Mojo in the Morning and then
check the video out on TikTok. Make sure that you're

Speaker 7 (02:35:58):
A former New England Patriots code Field Belichick is calling
out CBS Sunday Morning that show for what he says
was a selectively edited interview that created a false narrative
about his twenty four year old girlfriend Jordan Hudson being
controlling and controlling that conversation.

Speaker 21 (02:36:15):
He's never been to worry about what everybody else thanks,
just to try to do what I feel like is
best for man and what's right.

Speaker 3 (02:36:21):
How did you guys meet?

Speaker 4 (02:36:23):
Not talking about this now?

Speaker 7 (02:36:26):
For what it's worth, CBS came out to say there
were no limitations, There were no conditions on this interview,
even though Belichick is saying the purpose of the interview
was to talk about my football career and my book.
Now even his former teammates, including Julian Edelman, are speaking
out about this girl's influence on coach when you.

Speaker 22 (02:36:51):
Look at this situation and you say, oh, this is
his girlfriend jumping in, I think that's unfair. I think
she's actually working with coach Belichick in the professional world.

Speaker 42 (02:36:59):
I think the U n C Carolina tar Hills she
consider consider firing Bill Belichick.

Speaker 7 (02:37:05):
His own family is becoming very outspoken in terms of
their thoughts about her and her level of control in
that relationship and with his career.

Speaker 2 (02:37:14):
It's interesting that the uh, what's the show that they
do or they follow the Hard Knocks. So they were
going to do the first Hard Knocks on a college
team and it was U n C. They pulled out Yeah,
and they say it.

Speaker 5 (02:37:26):
They say it because of her.

Speaker 2 (02:37:28):
Well, why was she listed as an executive producer or something?
When you got it like that, you give bag credits.
It's crazy.

Speaker 9 (02:37:36):
Here's the thing, though, they won't have a Hard Knocks
TV show, but this is going to make for an
amazing Netflix one to three part limited series.

Speaker 7 (02:37:47):
Country music superstar Laney Wilson is set to make her
feature film debut. She is set to appear in the
upcoming film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's book Reminders of Him.
It's a Good One, with the movie set to drop
next February. By the way, if you're a Gilmore Girls fan,
or if you were a Gilmore Girls fan, I should
say Lauren Graham is also going to.

Speaker 5 (02:38:06):
Be in this movie. Christina Aguilera on the cover.

Speaker 8 (02:38:09):
Of I Don't even know how to say this magazine
Sarci Carsey never heard of.

Speaker 5 (02:38:13):
It before, but she looks great and fans are shocked at.

Speaker 8 (02:38:17):
What she's looking like these days. She is very, very
very very very very skinny.

Speaker 7 (02:38:23):
She has been rumored to have been getting a little
help from a shot of some sort, though she has
not commented on it. But this appearance transformation has the
Internet just going nuts right now, so make sure to
check that out.

Speaker 8 (02:38:35):
Do you guys hear about this story?

Speaker 7 (02:38:36):
Eleven upstate New York high school students have turned themselves
in after hazing some of the younger players on their
lacrosse team.

Speaker 8 (02:38:45):
But what they did was just real scary they do so,
the DA said.

Speaker 7 (02:38:50):
The eleven students in question turned themselves into the Sheriff's
office yesterday. It started with one of the victims going
to their lacrosse game, went to McDonald's afterward with some upperclassmen.
The evening took a turn when this kid, this poor kid,
was taken to a remote wooded area and the driver
pretended to be lost. That's when a bunch of people

(02:39:13):
all of a sudden came out of the woods, all
dressed in black. They were armed with one with a handgun,
one with a knife, some other things that I haven't
heard of. The kid had a pillowcase placed over his head.
He was tied up and put in the trunk of
the car. And he was not the only person. He
was not the only underclassmen that this happened to.

Speaker 59 (02:39:34):
This is criminal activity, and this is hazing on steroids.

Speaker 2 (02:39:39):
Okay, this is this could have resulted in such a tragedy.

Speaker 7 (02:39:44):
So not necessarily any physical injuries here, but lots of
emotional distress and this these kids thought that they were
going to be left in the middle of nowhere. They
were eventually, this student in particular that I'm talking about,
was eventually returned home. They were able to escape and
and you know, make their way home. But still, I mean,
just not a great situation.

Speaker 2 (02:40:04):
The driver of the vehicle purportedly was lost, that was
a ruse.

Speaker 59 (02:40:09):
They were in a remote part of the county, and
then the accomplices jumped out of the woods pretending to
be your kid members. The individual had a pillowcase placed
over his head. He was tied up and placed in
the trunk of a car.

Speaker 2 (02:40:25):
Wow.

Speaker 7 (02:40:26):
Yeah, so they all have notices to appear after turning
themselves in. So I don't know what the punishment is
going to be per se, but there's going to be one.

Speaker 2 (02:40:32):
It's interesting because you know, you see a lot of
the college fraternities doing the hazing stuff, and a lot
of these schools will kick them off campus for doing them.
And there are certain forms of hazing that is actually like, okay,
this is just kind of fun loving stuff. Kidnapping and
holding somebody with a hood over their head and a
real gun does not seem like fun hazing.

Speaker 5 (02:40:53):
You're going to get in some trouble or sticking anything in.

Speaker 2 (02:40:55):
Somebody's booty hull. Yes, like why are you doing that?

Speaker 11 (02:40:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:40:58):
These stories all the time they do that.

Speaker 26 (02:41:00):
Yeah, I just wasn't.

Speaker 5 (02:41:02):
That's crazy and real quick.

Speaker 7 (02:41:05):
The Weekend has an upcoming film debut, Hurry Up Tomorrow,
hits theaters on May sixteenth. He's actually playing a version
of himself, a version that would have just made a
whole bunch of really bad choices. Jenni Ortega Barry Keegan
star in this psychological thriller which Kevi, you and I
just talked about.

Speaker 8 (02:41:23):
I think something you learned about me. I will not
see anything that's scary.

Speaker 26 (02:41:30):
See this.

Speaker 7 (02:41:30):
But you can enter to win a pair of tickets
to screening right now by going to Channel nine five
five dot comments right there on the contest stage.

Speaker 2 (02:41:39):
Can I bring up one last story? I don't think.
I don't think we talked about enough. You want it,
you want to hear it. I want to hear it.
Lebron lost and he's out of the playoffs. That's all
I want to say. If Bron is out of the playoffs,
at least he's still in the playoffs. Jordan didn't make
it his last two seasons, but nobody talks he's out
of the He should have retired like Jordan's I wonder, why,

(02:42:01):
hold on a second, what does it? What did the
ant Man say about this whole thing? He said he
made a comment, superman. He said no, he said they
picked Lakers in five, but it was actually Minnesota in five.
Outside the k ant Man has been my favorite player
for the last three or four years.

Speaker 57 (02:42:17):
We're talking about Paul Rudd and Man yeah exactly, the
nickname a Man Edwards.

Speaker 2 (02:42:24):
Oh that's it, okay, all right, all.

Speaker 8 (02:42:28):
Cats search in the morning and the free tonight.

Speaker 2 (02:42:32):
By the way, indeed, are you gonna wear all white?
Do you want to wear my white jeans? I've got
them for you. No, seriously, you got I'm being very serious.

Speaker 3 (02:42:44):
In the morning on social media. Crazy in the morning,
he's dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (02:42:49):
You should you should wear my white jeans that I
wore to the God the only thing will be white
on me as much?

Speaker 8 (02:42:55):
Have you ever worn those again?

Speaker 2 (02:42:57):
After? I'll be honest with you. I look good in
those things. Those I felt good. It made me feel
good that night. I'm gonna wear them again. All right.
What's what's next here on the show? Or what's next
in my life? In my wardrobe, I actually bought a
pair of green jeans. I brought these green ones and
they actually looked really good. I haven't tried them on yet.

(02:43:20):
And I got I picked up my suit. I got
my suit for Jamie's wedding, so I picked it up.
I thought I looked really good in this night. Julian,
are you there or Jillian, I'm sorry, Jillian. Good morning, Yeah,
good morning. You're a winner. Congratulations, yay, thank you, thank
you so much for Colin. Are you ready for tomorrow?

Speaker 37 (02:43:41):
Yes, I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (02:43:42):
All right. We got to get you into a new
car tomorrow, A brand new Chevy could be yours. Morane. Congratulations,
get ready for it? Okay tomorrow, We're back next with
Kevin possibly getting scammed at the oil changing place. We'll
talk about that night.

Speaker 60 (02:44:01):
Ed Mojo in the morning to your precess on our
free iHeartRadio app. I never missed four of the roses,
a second date update am id a hole or the
throwback throw down.

Speaker 2 (02:44:22):
Kevin. Yes, we just during that commercial break missed a commercial.

Speaker 3 (02:44:27):
Can you inform me?

Speaker 2 (02:44:29):
If I need a cell phone and I am looking
for a good service, where could I find one? I
think there are a ton of options out here, but
none better than Total Wireless. They have an.

Speaker 9 (02:44:40):
Unlimited phone plan that starts at twenty five dollars a
month when you get four lines. And I know you
got a family, So if you do that, not only
is everyone operating on the number one network in Detroit
that gives you unlimited data that never slows you down,
but you get that at a great price. I think
you should not buy a near store today, real quick.
If you want to tell me to do it in

(02:45:01):
a sexier voice.

Speaker 2 (02:45:03):
In times of.

Speaker 9 (02:45:03):
Traffic, your data maybe temporarily slower. Additional terms apply ranking
based on root metrics to score report.

Speaker 2 (02:45:14):
Hey, real quick, I want to bring something up real quick.
So this morning on the show, in the beginning of
the show, we did a quick start to the show
where we did a topic where Kevin discussed how he
snuck a woman into his house. Our grandma listening right now.
I know that we did that early, and and I

(02:45:36):
know that we had you know, a call or two
or a bunch of texts actually of people who have
done it. I just thought that that topic was so good.
I just want to know there any people, there are
any single parents that have to sneak lovers in and
out of their house, you know what I mean, or
whatever you'd call them hookups bays.

Speaker 3 (02:45:56):
As you call them.

Speaker 9 (02:45:59):
In fine speed. That he could say, yeah, yeah, that
was the kids they do. But you know you can't
say the real oh okay, because did that ever? Did
you ever have to do that?

Speaker 7 (02:46:11):
With Wes No, I was a crazy person about it though,
and it was also easy because he had week on,
we had week.

Speaker 5 (02:46:19):
On, week off.

Speaker 7 (02:46:20):
Even when he called for a while, I wouldn't even
be in the same room as the kids, Like I
just tried to keep that so separate.

Speaker 5 (02:46:28):
Dude, my dad did that moor adults.

Speaker 8 (02:46:35):
Talk to it.

Speaker 2 (02:46:36):
Did you think he was smoking? Because anytime goes to
the garage, I always think that they're smokers.

Speaker 6 (02:46:41):
No, because because I grew up and he was a smoker,
so like he would come back and not smell like
nostalgic young father to me.

Speaker 47 (02:46:49):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (02:46:51):
My grandfather smoked a pipe and I always every time
I smelled pipe, I think of him.

Speaker 5 (02:46:55):
But no, I think it's funny how you guys as
parents hide this from your kids.

Speaker 2 (02:46:59):
It needs to be hit. I don't want I don't
want Josiah to see anybody and so this life.

Speaker 5 (02:47:03):
Yeah, I did not want.

Speaker 7 (02:47:04):
I did not want the kids to know that I
was even dating anybody until I was really like almost
ready to introduce them to him.

Speaker 6 (02:47:11):
I get that, and I get like hiding the booty calls.
I totally get that. But Kevi, your role is like
getting engaged. Yeah, like that, maybe it's almost traumatic, like
I'm not going to introduce you to somebody, but they're
about to be mom and move in.

Speaker 2 (02:47:24):
Ye, Well you would introduce when it got serious, right, Yeah,
maybe they engage is like exaggerated, but it would have
to be something very very serious and its running the meals,
not just gonna meet. And that role change or that
whole idea changed a lot because it was tough probably
to tell Josiah about you and Cherrell when you guys
were Ye.

Speaker 6 (02:47:45):
Does that change when they're teenagers, because then you can
like exemplify healthy dating.

Speaker 2 (02:47:52):
Maybe.

Speaker 9 (02:47:53):
I think it all depends on the nature of the relationship,
Like I think it's still I still don't want to
set a precedent or any example that my front door
is a revolving door with women coming in and out,
Like I don't want that to be the tone and
how he starts to identify like, oh, well, this is
what relationships look like.

Speaker 7 (02:48:10):
I have a girlfriend who's divorced in dating, and she
has a middle schooler into high schoolers, all girls, and
she just keeps it under the veil of mom is dating.
But that's it, like no details, no meeting anybody. No,
they are aware that she is dating.

Speaker 2 (02:48:24):
But that's it.

Speaker 8 (02:48:25):
It's pretty blanketed.

Speaker 2 (02:48:26):
Did I ever tell the story about when I I
was god, I was nineteen years old and I ended
up going over to the single mom's house. Did I
ever tell the same story? So I was working at
B ninety six and I was working with George McFly
and I did the show after him. And back in
the days of radio, when you could pick up people

(02:48:50):
on the phone lines, it was like crazy, like you
literally would have you'd answer calls. Like back in the days,
the phones would just be ringing NonStop, especially at night,
and they would be like people calling up and you'd
be picking up Hey, you know, be ninety six, Hello,
be ninety six, Hello, answer your calls and people would
be like, hey, I just want to say hi. You know,
you get sexy voice. This is for new radio. People

(02:49:13):
don't ever fall for the sexy voice because the sexy
voice ain't always working. And I was like, well what.
There was one that called one night and I was
doing the ten to two shift and she called up
and I kept her on the entire night. Literally, I
think we talked for an hour and a half in
between songs, and I would grab calls and answer and
put my phones on the air and do all that stuff.

(02:49:34):
I'd do the radio stuff. Well, she said, hey, she goes,
why don't you come over to my house? And I'm like,
oh really, And she's like, but here's the problem. I
have kids, And she did the hole, if you came in,
we'd have to be really quiet, and if we were
gonna hang out, we'd have to be really really quiet.
I'm going I think I'm gonna get late. Like I
was like literally looking at this whole thing. She lived

(02:49:57):
in Winetka, which is a very wealthy, fancy suburb on Chicago.
It's where Home Alone was from. Yes, and so I
lived in Orland Park. Orland Park was not a fancy suburb.
It was way south and it was like, you know whatever.
So it was I was going to drive from the
radio station downtown to Winnetka, which was a forty minute

(02:50:18):
so drive, then afterwards hanging out with her. It was
gonna take me over an hour and some to get home.
But I'm like, for a piece of ass, I'm driving.
I'm nineteen years old. I showed up at her house
and she snuck me into her house and we ended
up honestly doing some stuff, but It was the weirdest

(02:50:39):
thing ever because we ended up hanging for a little
bit and her kid knocked on the door. People might
think this is another Nancy story. It's not a Nancy story.
This is a legit story. And by the way, Nancy
was not a story either. This was how powerful that
radio station was at one point, that radio station could
get you laid. Have you gotten laid?

Speaker 5 (02:51:00):
For the story? Her kid knocks on the door.

Speaker 2 (02:51:03):
And her kid knocked on the door, and she said, honey,
hold on, I'll be right there. And she had to
leave and go to the room. And that was like
my call to come out of here. No, I just
stayed right there. I just stayed there. I'm like going,
oh my god, what do I How do you hide?
How do I hide? Do you know how big I am?
You do you think I can hide?

Speaker 4 (02:51:33):
You said?

Speaker 2 (02:51:33):
Her voice was sexy, her face though she was actually unbelievable.
She was unbelievably hot. I went back the next day
and I told George McFly about it, and George, he was,
you know, bad influence on me. He was convinced that
the husband was out of town because he was like,
there is no way this divorced woman is living in

(02:51:55):
the house, because we back then you didn't have Google
and stuff like that. But I took a picture, sure,
you know, of what you know what a snapshot in
my head of what the house looked like. I'm like,
it was truly like the home alone house like it
was legit, that big of a house. And he was like,
there's no way that she was living in So they
were all convinced. Everybody at the station was all convinced

(02:52:15):
that this woman was a probably wife cheating on her husband.
Did you ever double back or she would call almost
every single night, almost every.

Speaker 8 (02:52:25):
Single night, and you never went back to her house
though I never.

Speaker 2 (02:52:29):
Went back to her house. No, it is a one
time thing. No, Can I be honest with you. I'll
be honest with you. It was I have not had
sex with a lot of women, but I will be
honest with you. It was one of those situations and
one of those deals where if she was closer to
me in Orland Park, I would have probably gone back.

(02:52:49):
But the drive was an hour. It took me an
hour and twenty five minutes to go home. It was crazy, crazy,
It was a long way home. And that's back when
gas was three says no, it's probably like ninety ninety.
There was probably something like that. But you know, ful
take a guess. So who is the girl that came over?
Who is the girl that came over to the house.

Speaker 9 (02:53:11):
Honestly, this was so I told y'all there was two
girls in my life that I was messing around with
full time, We'll say that. And I cut them both
off because I felt like I didn't need to go
down that path. Yeah, the one that came over in particular.
And listen, I love God, I'm human. We all fall short.
This was one that I felt like God said, do
not mess with her. And when he said do not

(02:53:32):
mess with her, I was like, okay, God, I hear
you cut her off. Boom, and my flesh got to
me and you know, you crack open the door. And
she knew that I didn't want to go that way.
And we were strictly platonic and having friends, but we
were si having communication. Slowly but surely, that door of
LUs started opening open, opening, And when I say short,
it got to a point where I'm like, bro, just

(02:53:52):
pull up.

Speaker 2 (02:53:53):
She was already out drinking. She pulled up.

Speaker 9 (02:53:55):
I'm like, look, I got twenty minutes. You can bah
bah Joe say here, and I don't need him coming
downstairs and saying any things, and you just do this,
you can get on.

Speaker 2 (02:54:03):
And that's what happened.

Speaker 9 (02:54:04):
And honestly, it was the worst thing because she started
to turn up and get crazy after that. So what
do you mean she got home facetimed? You started bringing
up old stuff?

Speaker 2 (02:54:14):
Okay, oh, I thought it was. I thought, wait a second,
turning up and going crazy, not at the crib, no, okay,
not doing it. I would know. I was thinking when
you said turn up going crazy, it was like a
sexual thing, like it was something crazy.

Speaker 9 (02:54:26):
I mean she tried to stop in the middle of that. Dude,
all right, I think that you like everything was considual.
Let me not leave that hanging.

Speaker 2 (02:54:35):
You need to be a more response, You need to
be a more responsible dad and wait till the next day.
You don't need to do it.

Speaker 9 (02:54:41):
I felt short. You're absolutely right. I could have wait
until next day, but I had waited for a long time.
I think that that that just shows you the the
loins over the little ones. I know, I'm listen, I'm
not perfect, I'm in progress. Okay, Uh, let me ask
you a question. If these phone lines were lighting up crazy,
would you go pick up people? And that doesn't happen anymore.

Speaker 26 (02:55:02):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 2 (02:55:03):
I'm a little weird about going over to a random
person's house. Back then, we didn't have Tinder, we didn't
have any of that stuff. I don't rock like that
on Tinder. I told you I used Center like Instagram,
I used to look and that's it. Yeah. I don't
ever know what people on match with or none of that.
So I'm not picking up people on the phone. You
never know. One might catch me on a good day.

(02:55:24):
We supposed to do a rooftop party. Who knows what
happened that could happen. Be careful though. We don't want
to lose any listeners. We don't want. We don't want
that about me. I'm okay with that because don't want
to lose anything.

Speaker 61 (02:55:36):
Detroit three grade stations. One stupid show in the morning,
all right, it is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (02:55:53):
Cavin thinks that he was getting scammed at the oil
changing place, so the Jiffy stop forever.

Speaker 9 (02:56:01):
I'm not sure, and I don't know if we talked
about this before, but I have questions and I need answers.

Speaker 2 (02:56:06):
I'm not truly sure what to believe.

Speaker 9 (02:56:09):
When you go and get an oil change, and once
your oil change is complete, it they give you the
little sticker. They put it on your little left windshield
you know, front windshield, and it tells you the date
that you can come and get your next oil change
or the mileage that once your car reaches that's when
you need to get an aill change. So for the longest,
I just believed in that because that's what that quote

(02:56:31):
unquote experts.

Speaker 2 (02:56:32):
Tell you to do.

Speaker 9 (02:56:33):
But then with these new cars, when you switch it
your digital dash, it'll show you your oil life. Now
I'm past the date by about two weeks. I'm over
the mileage by about I mean considerable amount. I would
say six seven hundred, maybe even beyond that. But when
I look at my little oil thing, it says I
have sixty percent oil life left in my card.

Speaker 2 (02:56:55):
That's what I'm thinking, So why are they just trying
to get money?

Speaker 5 (02:56:59):
Is my car is not just an estimate? Yes, it
is the mileage on the thing.

Speaker 2 (02:57:06):
One they they add the the mileage they put on
there is legit. The date I think is bs when
they said just three.

Speaker 6 (02:57:14):
Months, and I think that's like kind of when the
oil starts to deteriorate if you don't use it. But
I will also say this, My car is programmed to
give notifications at three thousand miles I get I pay
for a synthetic oil, which gets me ten thousand miles.
So like it goes off before I actually need an
oil chase. So my car says you need one before.

Speaker 5 (02:57:35):
I actually do.

Speaker 2 (02:57:36):
You said something.

Speaker 9 (02:57:36):
I don't remember exactly what you said, but I remember
the question that it posed. Even though I have oil,
is it not good oil?

Speaker 2 (02:57:43):
At that point?

Speaker 9 (02:57:44):
I say, for example, the date you still got milk
and refrigerator, but it's a date that as spell as expires,
even though it's still in the bottle, is spoiled. That's
a CEPS says that, like the oil, even though also
got in the cars, it's not good anymore.

Speaker 5 (02:57:56):
I don't I don't know enough to say like yes,
but I'm pretty.

Speaker 2 (02:58:00):
Wait you think, Shannon, you think that you wouldn't touch
the milk if if it's past the actual.

Speaker 5 (02:58:05):
Day A lot of things.

Speaker 2 (02:58:05):
I don't smell it, not milk, milk, not milk, really
I smell it. And if it smells sour, you.

Speaker 7 (02:58:11):
Know, it's like a day or two maybe, but yeah,
the most part it's gone. Same thing with meat gone.

Speaker 2 (02:58:18):
Mete are. Where are car guys at? The people that
work for the you know, the Big three or or
Detroit's three. I want to know about this or the
oil change people. I always think it's funny whenever you
go get your oil changed and the person comes out
to you and shows you the filter or what the
color of the oil looks like. I don't.

Speaker 7 (02:58:36):
I finally admitted to the guy I go to the
same place every time. Yeah, he comes around. It's like
the same guy too. And I was like, I'm just
going to tell you I have been nodding my head
to you for fifteen years. At this point, I have
no flipping idea what this means. I go, I don't
even know if you actually changed my oil.

Speaker 8 (02:58:53):
Actually, but I'm paying you.

Speaker 2 (02:58:55):
Do you say, here's my money? Just take it. El
filter is a good one, though, because that's to your
clean Brent, what's going on five thousand miles?

Speaker 53 (02:59:04):
That to your limit?

Speaker 34 (02:59:06):
Get your oil change. You don't need the three thousand.
These brand new cars they'll go forever five thousand.

Speaker 29 (02:59:13):
I've done it my whole light.

Speaker 2 (02:59:14):
So five thousand is a deal. It used to be
three thousand miles and then they changed it to five thousand.
Some cars say ten thousand miles. Maybe, Yeah, some of
these cars, some of these uh these higher end vehicles
do ten thousand miles. I can't believe what some cars
will cost. I drive a Chevy Tahoe. A friend of
mine drives one of those European cars. It costs like

(02:59:37):
a ton of money to change the oil on some
of them.

Speaker 5 (02:59:40):
You have to get an oil change at the dealership.

Speaker 2 (02:59:43):
Yeah. I think Fred from the from from UH Fred's
Show in Chicago, drives like a Maseratia, and I think
I think it costs him like like five grand to
get the oil change. That's insane. I don't know. We
need to hire it.

Speaker 24 (02:59:56):
I need.

Speaker 2 (02:59:58):
Kelly. What's going on. It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 35 (03:00:01):
Hello.

Speaker 49 (03:00:02):
Yes, we actually own a shop, and we've owned a
shop for twenty years. So what it is the sticker
is either whatever comes first, the date or the mileage,
and I would go buy the sticker. Percentage on your thing,
on your car is not estimate. It's just estimate.

Speaker 15 (03:00:16):
It's I would never go buy it.

Speaker 5 (03:00:18):
See that's so funny. I would.

Speaker 7 (03:00:20):
I would go buy my car before I went by
anything else, because I would think that there's some sort
of gauge or monitor or sensor or something that is
telling it that information.

Speaker 2 (03:00:30):
I would think.

Speaker 5 (03:00:31):
It's just like I guess I can't shop.

Speaker 15 (03:00:32):
There is no way my husband.

Speaker 44 (03:00:34):
Would ever go buy the car.

Speaker 2 (03:00:36):
Okay, yeah, I will say this though, I go, I
go buy the car, more so because like I have
the on Star thing, and on Star will tell me
when I need to get it changed. What's up? Ryan?

Speaker 29 (03:00:49):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (03:00:49):
How you guys doing good?

Speaker 2 (03:00:50):
What's going on?

Speaker 34 (03:00:52):
Good? So basically recommendation is the sticker. As you drive
your car, the more miles you put on it. Most
diesels ten thousand miles.

Speaker 62 (03:01:00):
Most cars free to five thousand miles, the pilosity of
the oil will actually decrease. Basically, I would never go
ten thousand miles on any car with a synthetic oil
just to go better off to change it, you know,
between three to five thousand miles. Don't listen to your dad.

Speaker 2 (03:01:16):
How do we how do we know we can trust you?
How do you know all this stuff?

Speaker 34 (03:01:22):
Commercial vehicles daily? You know, rituals changing.

Speaker 62 (03:01:26):
My oil and they last five hundred thousand miles. You
know when they first started at three thousand miles.

Speaker 34 (03:01:31):
Deal was basically in the seventies that you know, your cars,
the oils, the motors.

Speaker 62 (03:01:35):
The fuels, everything was not as as new. Yeah, you
know when technology was left. So basically I would go
anywhere three to five thousand miles. I've never listened to
my dash, okay never.

Speaker 2 (03:01:47):
I always say when these guys talk with such force
like this, I always think, does this guy know what
he's talking about? Do you change your own oil? Because
Tony Trovado thinks I'm crazy that you change your own oil.
His nails sound time?

Speaker 62 (03:02:01):
If I have time, yes, if not, I will go
to an oral change place anytime I can, if I'm
on the road or something and.

Speaker 2 (03:02:07):
It needs it better.

Speaker 34 (03:02:09):
Velossian oil. I mean, you break down your fuels, you
could get a little a water leak, you know, air leak,
anything exaucet in your gas, in your oil.

Speaker 62 (03:02:18):
Any gas goes beat, your oil is gonna get.

Speaker 3 (03:02:20):
Less and less.

Speaker 2 (03:02:21):
He got stings on this guy, does I bet you
he does. What kind of car does you drive?

Speaker 4 (03:02:25):
Though?

Speaker 2 (03:02:26):
I want to know? And how many miles when these
people call us up and they go I got undred
thousand miles in my car. I'm like, how do you
have two hundred thousand miles on your car? Floyd is
a mechanic, and who would not trust a mechanic named Floyd?
What's up Floyd?

Speaker 11 (03:02:39):
Hey?

Speaker 26 (03:02:39):
How you doing?

Speaker 39 (03:02:40):
Mojo?

Speaker 3 (03:02:40):
How everybody doing Floyd?

Speaker 2 (03:02:42):
Anybody? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (03:02:44):
Hey?

Speaker 24 (03:02:45):
Our stickers we put in is the national average that
changed the oil about three thousand miles. Now some newer
vehicles they tell you that you don't have to change
the oil for ten thousand miles. Yeah, we don't recommend that.
We recommend itwhere between three and five thousand miles, Just
like the last caller just.

Speaker 2 (03:03:03):
Said, because you need to make money the engine.

Speaker 13 (03:03:06):
No, i't to make money.

Speaker 24 (03:03:08):
It's to say the engine and keep the customer from
half to make costly repairs.

Speaker 2 (03:03:13):
When something what if it's a lease and I don't care,
I'm turning it in, that's on you, I guess, or
on the next guy that buys it. Whenever I see
these cars that say that you should use a gas
that's at ninety something percent or whatever the deal is
our ninety something octane, I always sit there and I

(03:03:34):
think to myself, if it's a lease, do you really care?
Like I know, they say it drives better and that
probably maybe makes less noise or something, But who cares.
It's all about how it looks when it's parked.

Speaker 24 (03:03:44):
And I would care if I have to trade an
in and what you want to get back from that vehicle,
because if it says to use a certain octane, that's
because some of these high performance engines uses a certain octane.
Some of them uses the less octake.

Speaker 2 (03:04:00):
Well, do you know what kind of car that Kevin
drives where Fred in Chicago on The Fred Show drives
a Maserati. Kevin has a very historic vehicle. I got
a pencil. He's got a Pinto. Back in the day, Pinto.

Speaker 34 (03:04:18):
It is that had a four that had a five point.

Speaker 2 (03:04:24):
We're talking cars, please, was it was it the Pinto
that if you would drive into the back of the
car it would explode. Was it Wasn't there a car?
There was a one car that used to if they
said if it got rear ended, it could actually explode
at one point things well, hey, now, uh hold on

(03:04:45):
one second here, world, that was the first thing that
came on cars. Okay, go to the go by the
dash people are saying go by the dash that will
place it.

Speaker 6 (03:04:58):
Want to make to Shannon's point because it's fake, but
just to be technology that makes you think that you
have a cool car, but.

Speaker 2 (03:05:06):
It doesn't do anything. So what about what about my
gas tank? Am I not supposed to go by that?

Speaker 9 (03:05:11):
Did you really go by I'm supposed to just know
when I'm running out of gas?

Speaker 2 (03:05:15):
No, you don't. Don't ever go by the miles on
the thing though, Why well they said they have more
miles on there, but you should put it. I always say,
don't go past a quarter of a time.

Speaker 5 (03:05:24):
I'm scury right now. It doesn't even say the miles anymore.

Speaker 2 (03:05:27):
It just says low. That's really. Now that we move
down here, there's there's no gas stations down here, So I.

Speaker 5 (03:05:33):
Wandered across the street. FM McDonald's.

Speaker 2 (03:05:34):
There's the one down the street. Dog tried to sell
me bullies. Yeah, you want to go to that gas station.

Speaker 3 (03:05:41):
Treat me like a queen there, Yeah, vampire.

Speaker 5 (03:05:46):
McDonald's. What the little one that has a door like
a closet.

Speaker 2 (03:05:50):
They treat me like a queen.

Speaker 40 (03:05:53):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (03:05:53):
I'm not I am not going to gas stations like
I got steeled to the glass. I was like, I'm good, Cheryl,
what's up? I find nowhere? What's going on?

Speaker 4 (03:06:04):
Cheryl?

Speaker 26 (03:06:05):
Hey, I think you're a real creepo. Like, if you
have a lease and you literally don't do oil cheams
are maintaining your vehicle, what about the next.

Speaker 22 (03:06:12):
Guy like me?

Speaker 2 (03:06:13):
And you know, hold on, you can yell at me,
but please don't swear.

Speaker 45 (03:06:17):
Okay, Oh I'm sorry, but okay, so yeah, that's that's
I just think that you know, no.

Speaker 22 (03:06:23):
But your car will tell you.

Speaker 2 (03:06:24):
Well, what I'm saying is, if I have a lease car,
I'm not changing the oil every three thousand miles. I'll
change it every five thousand miles.

Speaker 5 (03:06:31):
And the people who have to buy an eggs.

Speaker 2 (03:06:33):
Well, it's first off, exactly, I do it based on
I do it based on when on Star tells me
to go do the thing. The guy that called up
and said you should change it every three thousand miles,
not five thousand miles. My car says five thousand miles.
I go with five thousand miles because guess what, I'm
not paying another dime more than what I have to.

Speaker 5 (03:06:51):
I do believe you on that. I do believe and
I agree with you said, whatever I mean.

Speaker 52 (03:06:57):
If you wait a couple of thousand miles, whatever I mean.

Speaker 2 (03:07:01):
And I'm not putting, No, I'm not putting ninety three
percent octane in a car that that.

Speaker 52 (03:07:09):
Doesn't Sometimes it's required because just like your body, you know,
maybe you might be diabetic medication.

Speaker 2 (03:07:15):
You know, why look at this body? You think I
put anything good in this body.

Speaker 6 (03:07:18):
I was about to say, Babe, the body was a
bad comparison, because let's be honest. When this body started,
I was a Porsche and now I'm I'm feeding it
tackle Bill.

Speaker 2 (03:07:26):
Yeah, and here's here's the story, Cheryl.

Speaker 45 (03:07:30):
Maintain them and you you keep the engines clean, and
you keep everything clean.

Speaker 39 (03:07:34):
If you don't keep your car clean, then of course
it's going to take a.

Speaker 34 (03:07:36):
Crap on you, Cheryl.

Speaker 2 (03:07:38):
I take care of my oil when it says to
take care of my oil, and I put in the
eighty seven percent octane and at the gas station and
the rest is up to the whoever else wants to
do it. I'm not doing it anymore.

Speaker 50 (03:07:52):
Yeah, but you said earlier that you know I don't
do it.

Speaker 13 (03:07:54):
I the least who cares.

Speaker 2 (03:07:55):
So that's why that's what I'm saying. Zero did them
because Floyd the barber called up and said that I
should do it every three thousand miles and not every
five thousand miles. And I'm like, no, I'm doing the
manufacturer one.

Speaker 5 (03:08:09):
Sure, what askes you mad about?

Speaker 2 (03:08:10):
I'd love to listen to you.

Speaker 52 (03:08:13):
Well, no, I just it's just like you know that
people like, if I ever go to a dealer, I'm
going to say, hey, I want to make sure Mojo
never homeless inside boiled milk filled everywhere, because everybody you
know what I mean together and you're you're that one person.

Speaker 27 (03:08:35):
You know.

Speaker 45 (03:08:36):
I have to go out and I go to cars
and I have to do an infections car company.

Speaker 39 (03:08:40):
And it's so disgusting how people like don't care about
the inside of their car.

Speaker 2 (03:08:44):
You would be shocked to know this. But I bet
you that my car might be the cleanest car that
I get it clean all the time. I'll tell you
what do you want to see my meet you at
the gas station that sells.

Speaker 3 (03:08:58):
Em in the morning, has a show for you to
win one thousand dollars.

Now Mojo in the Morning Online on the Morning dot Com.
Mojo in the Morning's top trending stories.

Speaker 2 (03:09:34):
All right, training news right now? Today is the first
of May. How crazy is it? How fast time has
gone that? Yeah? Yeah, there you go? Or Shannon just
gave me this one just a second ago May, All right,

(03:10:03):
there you go, all right, so happy May. I got
a couple of trending news stories today. Uh oh, we
may now know who's going to be running for president.
Wait we got four more years, right, but uh, President
Trump came out yesterday too. I don't know if this

(03:10:25):
is an endorsement or just him saying that this would
be kind of cool. He thinks that Stephen A. Smith
should run for president. Stephen A. Smith from ESP Steven A.

Speaker 59 (03:10:35):
Smith may run for president, as you know, I hope.

Speaker 3 (03:10:39):
Do you have any advice for Steven A if he
watches the run?

Speaker 2 (03:10:45):
No, Stephen, as he's a good guy. He's a smart guy.
I love watching him. He's got great entertainment skills, which
is very important. People watch him.

Speaker 5 (03:10:55):
You know a lot of these democrats I watch, I
say they have no chance.

Speaker 3 (03:10:59):
I've been pretty good picking people and picking candidates.

Speaker 2 (03:11:02):
And I will tell you I'd love to see him run.
All right, there you go. By the way, there's rumor
right now going on the internet as we speak, that
there is somebody running for president and they're preparing for
the run right now, and that is Megan meg Is.
People think she's walking away from media because you would
have to. You couldn't work in media if you were

(03:11:23):
going to run for a political office. And there have
been some that have speculated that Meghan is leaving radio,
leaving the mojo in the morning show to run for
a political office. Is there any truth to the rumor
that you might run for mayor of Toledo?

Speaker 5 (03:11:38):
Wade caps of cavit, She better watch it back. I'm
coming for your baby.

Speaker 2 (03:11:42):
Would you ever think about politics?

Speaker 5 (03:11:44):
I would love to be in politics.

Speaker 2 (03:11:46):
Would we would would you ever start on a level
like a local level, or would you try to go
for the big gog right away? Coud you have name recognition,
I who know very good. I would love to be
in Hey, there's some Senate seats coming up, there's some
Congressional seats coming up.

Speaker 6 (03:12:04):
Megan, come on, hey, yo Ople Covey pass. So it's
my turn to say that I want to put an
amusement park in downtown Toledo.

Speaker 2 (03:12:11):
Wait a second. Has that been a rumor for a while?

Speaker 5 (03:12:13):
Opal Covi was legendary in Toledo.

Speaker 6 (03:12:16):
She ran for mayor for I don't know seventy years
straight on the platform of bringing an amusement park into
downtown Toledo. And it was psychotic and I loved her
so much. I didn't pick up that platform.

Speaker 2 (03:12:29):
What can I What am I going to do with
my Toledo knowledge? Like, I'm not going to know anything?
Can we call you still as an expert to the guys?

Speaker 26 (03:12:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:12:36):
She drove in a car that she bolted assigned to
the top two like top of and it said I
am your mayor, and I'm like, no, you were not elected.

Speaker 5 (03:12:45):
She gets like seventy votes every year.

Speaker 9 (03:12:46):
I saw something about Toledo yesterday and I saved it
to my Instagram.

Speaker 2 (03:12:52):
Reoms, y'all got like a roller rink or a trail.

Speaker 6 (03:12:55):
Yeah, it's the new metro park. It's yeah, it's sick.
I'm so excited. It's like right next to my apartment.
I'm so excited. So it's an ice rink in the
winter and then you can go roller blade on it
in the summer.

Speaker 2 (03:13:09):
New research says that the replacement theory of two or
one children per woman isn't nearly enough to prevent human extinction.

Speaker 5 (03:13:20):
Here we come Handmaid's Tale.

Speaker 2 (03:13:22):
They're now saying that every family would need to have
three kids, so if their families stayed the way that
they are right now. This is not requiring women to
all have babies, but if you're a family, if you
have if you had a family and you wanted to
have kids, they say, three children would make for the extension.
Extension of 's say that tinction extension. I asked them

(03:13:45):
a question, and I need an extinction, but they say
that that would be the case. It's interesting. I wish
we would have we would have had four, but we
do have three. Do you ever wish that you would
add one more?

Speaker 11 (03:13:57):
Yes?

Speaker 5 (03:13:57):
All the time.

Speaker 2 (03:13:58):
Yeah. They say that it's interesting to look at the
birth rate gone down over the course of the last
ten years, staying in is the new going out. Americans
prefer to have people over to their home instead of

(03:14:19):
going out and hanging out at bars. A lot of
people say that one of their biggest reasons is that
they like the comforts of their own home. Also, they
say that they don't want to get themselves caught up
in drinking and driving, and they think that that would
be one thing. Plus obviously, you know, it keeps the
cost down a little bit, although the person that does
have the people over is probably you know, spending a

(03:14:42):
little bit of money. I saw this yesterday. This was
an interesting one on CBS Morning Show. They did a
story about how there is no longer going out to
the clubs at night, that a lot of women who
are between the ages of thirty five years old and
fifty five years old are now choosing to have clubs

(03:15:03):
open at an earlier hour for them.

Speaker 32 (03:15:06):
This morning, women in cities across the US are flocking
to a club that allows them to party like they
did in their twenties, but doesn't keep them out until
the wee hours of the morning.

Speaker 3 (03:15:16):
Say a Donia Backs introduces us.

Speaker 32 (03:15:18):
To the Early Birds Club, a dance party for women
who value a good night's rest.

Speaker 63 (03:15:28):
When dance floors at clubs across the country, hundreds of
women appreciate the night is young with a party that's
already in full swing.

Speaker 5 (03:15:38):
There isn't a lot out there that you can do.

Speaker 64 (03:15:41):
That's kind of like a nightlife thing that doesn't start
at eleven or twelve. Those days are gone for me,
like wig gone.

Speaker 63 (03:15:50):
That let Laura Beginski and her friend Susie Lee to
throw a dance party at what they consider a reasonable
hour six pm.

Speaker 64 (03:15:58):
Dinner is kind of like, Okay, you had dinner and
you're done, But like, couldn't we wouldn't be great if
we could go out dancing and just be silly again.

Speaker 4 (03:16:05):
Like we were in our twenties.

Speaker 63 (03:16:06):
And that's what's happening at these early Birds clubs designed
for women, trans and non binary people, but open to
all who want to go out, let loose, and then
be in bed by eleven pm because they have things
to do in the morning. The party started in Chicago
and have caught on in other cities.

Speaker 2 (03:16:26):
Would that be interesting to happen?

Speaker 7 (03:16:28):
I means, not a terrible idea, sounds like market It
is kind of true, Like my girlfriends and I like
to go out on the earlier side, like we always
joke early Bird Special, and then it always gets to
a point in like during dinner, where we're like, we
want to go somewhere and dance, but there's nothing. There's
nowhere to go do that, so we just usually end
up going back to like my friend Andrea's house and

(03:16:49):
putting on you know, music and just hanging out.

Speaker 2 (03:16:53):
It's kind of like the staying home thing too. Yeah,
couples who have couple friends are more attracted to their partners.
Going out on couple dates can actually increase your partner's
attractiveness and actually cause for stronger relationships. When couples agree
about how they spend their time alone and with others,

(03:17:16):
they are more likely to be in happier marriages or relationships.

Speaker 6 (03:17:20):
Do you know what if I thought immediately went too
so my friends, I love you, you date the dumbest people,
and I wouldn't just validate my decision with my partner.

Speaker 2 (03:17:29):
Yeah, you know your guys is not your girls not bad. Yeah,
And this is something that I've known for the longest time,
and I don't understand why more people don't just at
least speak up. Most parents don't enjoy reading to their children.
Oh no, fewer moms and dads read aloud to their kids.
The reason why they say they hate reading to their kids.

(03:17:51):
They say, one of the biggest things about reading to
their kids is their kids aren't even enjoying it. And
they find themselves actually realizing that about five seconds into it,
it wasn't such a great idea. I love reading. Do
you do you read it? Josiah?

Speaker 9 (03:18:07):
My god, that's that's like, literally one of the biggest
joys of my life.

Speaker 2 (03:18:11):
But what happens if the book that he chooses is long,
so long that the girl you asked to come over
and sneak over to the house is going. Now we'll
take it chapter by chapter.

Speaker 7 (03:18:23):
I love reading too, but I'm also at the stage
with Smith more so at the first part of the
year of first grade, or like I'm like, okay, you
have to read twenty minutes.

Speaker 8 (03:18:31):
Tonight, and so I'm like, let mom, just how about
mom reads this age. I gotta get this going.

Speaker 2 (03:18:37):
I used to pick picture books all the time. The
kids will be like, Dad, there's too many pictures in
this thing. Guys. This is the last show of Meghan
in the studio. Here it's going to be out tomorrow.
If you missed earlier this morning, you got to listen
to the podcast Meghan's eulogy to herself. Go check it out.

(03:18:58):
And he feels at all for you or no?

Speaker 3 (03:19:01):
Still, what do you?

Speaker 2 (03:19:03):
How do you feel? Do you feel like it feels weird?

Speaker 6 (03:19:05):
Does it it feels like you remember the last year's
days of school before summer vacation. Yes, it kind of
feels like that where it's like exciting but it's scary
and you know that, like the routine's going to change
and you don't know what's coming and it's nerve wracking
but fun.

Speaker 5 (03:19:21):
That's kind of how I feel right now, like I'm
excited but nervous.

Speaker 2 (03:19:26):
I I'm gonna miss you. I'm gonna I really miss you.
I will say this to you because we've only been
in this building for such a long time. I don't
really consider this home yet. Yeah, I think the last building,
if we were leaving the old studio where I've been
with you for a long period of time, I think
it would have been tougher.

Speaker 5 (03:19:42):
I didn't want to say that. I'm glad you did it.
I guess I kind of probably came off a little
bit more callous.

Speaker 2 (03:19:45):
But this, yeah, this is still it kind of is. Yeah,
I feel like it.

Speaker 11 (03:19:49):
You know.

Speaker 2 (03:19:49):
We still haven't we haven't dented the walls in all
this place, all right, Love you, love all our listeners.
We'll see you tomorrow. From Moran Automotive. Twenty plus years
of idiocy and still going.

Speaker 61 (03:20:04):
In Detroit, Toledo, in West Michigan, it's mojo in the morning.
