Speaker 1 (00:01):
Qui Detroit, Toledo.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
He's amazing live.
Speaker 4 (00:13):
Mojos. Think on, God, let me take your back to
the beginning.
Speaker 3 (00:27):
Alrighty, ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
You're a doo doo ahead. It's good to have you
guys here with us today. Will this be my last
day wearing anything Tigers related? I will be maybe retiring
all of my old English d's until the spring. I
am one of those people that does that. I cannot
(00:52):
wear a Lions jersey shirt, sweatshirt when it's the middle
of summer. I can't wear pistons when it's the you know,
I guess springtime. He now, unless they're playing in the springtime,
which usually doesn't happen sometimes this year, though, keV says, right,
and I can't wear Tiger stuff past October if they're
(01:16):
not in the October games. I'm the same way hats.
Speaker 5 (01:21):
I'll keep my hats out, but everything else I pack
up and put in a rubber maid and I don't
bring it out until the next season starts.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, so I can't do it. I don't wear white
after Labor Day either.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Oh no, that rules out the window that's what we
draw the line that rules out the window.
Speaker 2 (01:34):
You wear all the way you want. I will tell
you this, Okay, here, the only thing that I can
do in a season that's not a season is I
can have my Spartan Green on. I can have my
Michigan Go Blue. I can do the college stuff. Like
college stuff I'm okay with. I just can't do I
cannot do Lodgy because college stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
There's more than one sport though that you could support,
and there's sports all year round.
Speaker 6 (02:00):
Let's be I'm a volleyball I was about to say,
be honest, I'm gonnay times y'all watching creaky or volleyball
like that the last time you see in Michigan State
soccer team.
Speaker 7 (02:07):
But I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
But their hockey teams good they are. They're very good
on the ice.
Speaker 6 (02:12):
Well, you can wear your Tiger stuff year round because
we went in the World Series.
Speaker 7 (02:18):
By the way, you do a little.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
U little something before the show I did in there,
we go, oh my god, that's what I need today.
Is in I sent Lydia pack in here. She was
in the other room right now and she's like, we're
gonna have a great show today.
Speaker 8 (02:34):
I go.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
You think I'm doubting it because yesterday's show was kind
of it was kind of a turd yesterday. Yesterday's show
was as bad as the Tigers. Yesterday's show was as
bad as the Tigers looked on the field. It was
as bad as the uh you know, the rain delay was.
For any fan that was in the Concourse area of
(02:58):
co America, I cannot belie even I said this beforehand.
I'm like, they should just announce right now that they
aren't going to start that game till seven, because guess what,
they didn't start the game until seven, And that was
when Shannon and her weather forecast said there's gonna be
a break at seven o'clock. She knew she was watching
the weather. And what they did instead was they had it.
(03:19):
They got greedy for fans to eat the concourse.
Speaker 1 (03:22):
Did they ate it?
Speaker 7 (03:23):
Did they?
Speaker 9 (03:24):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (03:25):
I was there, So I'm fortunate enough. I lived like
five minutes away from the stadium, so I literally sat
in my apartment with my friends until we saw the
game started and then we walked over. But I went
there and I was so excited to try all this
food that they were promoting, and it was all gone.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I got Everyone.
Speaker 7 (03:42):
Was laughing at me.
Speaker 10 (03:43):
I was like, two of the h what the perogi
nachos that Mojo was talking about? They're like, we sold
out two hours ago. I'm oh, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Wait did they say it like that too?
Speaker 11 (03:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (03:53):
They were the I think the fans were happy. They
excited for the game.
Speaker 10 (03:59):
So we started losing, but the fans were in a
good mood. It was the workers that I could tell
were going through it because they were probably there for hours.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
Did you try that lobster?
Speaker 10 (04:09):
Thing I did was a lobster grilled cheese. It was
so good, but it was over thirty dollars right.
Speaker 12 (04:20):
I didn't home with anything.
Speaker 10 (04:21):
I was like, that's why this is left over no longer.
But it was very good. It did not come with anything.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
You know what's interesting about that is I wonder if
they did not do the rain delay to get the
fans in there to eat all the food that they
had that because they don't want to keep it for
I got a game today. Here's the deal. As far
as Tigers are concerned, it's win or go home. But
either way they're going back to Seattle. If they win today,
they're not going to be playing another home game unless
it's the next series, which would be the Alcs and
(04:49):
it would be against either Toronto or did you see
the Yankees came back last night? Yankees came back Aaron Judge, Okay, judge,
the judge. Yeah, here comes the judge. But so they
probably wanted to get rid of all the parogi's and
the they have to have it for today's game. That's true. Yeah,
eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six six
(05:10):
five six five four eight. Is it a fair weather
fan type of a thing to say that you don't
wear your you know, old English d if the Lite,
if the Tigers, you know, absolutely, it is absolutely. I
always pers you're a bad person. Asked why because you
only wear piston stuff all.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
The time, wearing a sporting thing right now?
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Okay, but here's the deal. I always see you wearing
anything free anything.
Speaker 13 (05:33):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (05:35):
What do you do with your free clothes? Huh? I would?
I usually give it to a Zach. He's gotta listen.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
I'm wearing anything free, and I'm wearing anything d pause
anything related.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
To the train.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I'm wearing it.
Speaker 6 (05:46):
Breads in December and back again.
Speaker 7 (05:50):
I don't the leap ear I feel that.
Speaker 10 (05:53):
I don't think I'd put on a jersey like a
Tiger's jersey, but I'd put on a hoodie that says
Tigers for a suirt amen.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
So the jersey actually is a good thing. I think
the jersey first off, I think you know I've aged
out of jerseys. I can't wear a jersey. You hate
grown in jersey. I don't like grown men in jerseys.
I don't I as a grown man. You cannot put
another man's name on your back. It's just as bad.
Why because it's your You're a guy, be a man.
What does that mean?
Speaker 5 (06:19):
Succeptible if you're at the game. I think maybe if
you're at the game, go for it, or or.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
If you you know somehow I don't know, you know
him or something like that. I don't know. I can't
even do it. I don't. You can't put another man's
name on it.
Speaker 10 (06:32):
But if it's like a really good player, like Meggie
when he was playing, he's been there for years.
Speaker 2 (06:37):
Maybe he's great. I put Meggie Meggy on my wall.
I actually have him. I have a jersey hanging on
my wall. I will tell you it was great to
see him yesterday throwing out the first pitch and he
still got some power in that that armor. His man,
he got it right over the plate from the mound.
And that that Cody was wearing that orange coat they
sell that at I think it was amazing And Jordan fo.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
To either way, you wear other men's names on you
all for time, Travis, Matthew, Peter Malar, So that can't
be you.
Speaker 11 (07:11):
Know.
Speaker 2 (07:13):
I wish listen here. I also wish yeah, real quick,
I do want to I do want to say this though,
this is interesting. The orange out yesterday they had an
orange out. There was no orange there. It's such a
tough color to add people. Maybe it was too late
(07:34):
that they did it. But you don't just have orange.
I don't think I have. I don't think I have
anything orange. Do you think that they should have? Uh,
you think they should have let us know, like well
ahead of.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
Sure, But I think how they made up for it
was they had those orange tops. You see a bunch
of people waven knows that was their way of color.
You know, even in things about.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
A friend of mine facetimed me from the game. And
when he facetimed me from the game, his orange towel
was sopping white because you're using literally dry a seat off.
So but it was thank God for the towels. They
need beach towels there. For all the people I saw,
I did see a bunch of people that were, you know,
ponchoed up, like Shannon was talking about yesterday, you know,
get your ponchos for this thing. And I saw a
(08:15):
bunch of people that literally sat through the rain delay
in their seats and did not leave. And I'm like,
you guys are hard. Course, if I was the the
you know Tigers people, I would have gone to them
and said, you're coming to tomorrow's game, and if you
don't have tickets, we'll.
Speaker 6 (08:28):
Get your ticket. But what time does today's game start?
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Three eighty?
Speaker 7 (08:33):
Any rain in the forecast?
Speaker 14 (08:35):
None?
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Actually, science gonna be nice, And actually you want it
to be a three toho eight game because any sun
that's going to be up, you're gonna want that for
a little bit of warmth, because the tempture is only
gonna be like sixty degrees. I think today, I think
will be our coolest day of the week. Ken YadA,
what's up? Ken YadA?
Speaker 6 (08:51):
Wear a man's name on your beat, but you wear
them on your butt.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
That I love you, And come on, the only thing
on my butt, ken Yetta, is juicy I wear. By
the way, that's another one too. I don't know women
with juicy on their butt at a certain age that
juicy's got to go away with pink. Yeah, like I
think it's at a certain age it ain't juicy anymore.
(09:17):
So I just don't want it to be lucy at
that point. Hey, Boody, ken Yetta, I gotta ask you
a question. You listened to the show all the time, right,
You're always listening. You were listening yesterday. How bad was
yesterday's show? Was it as bad as I thought it was?
Speaker 7 (09:32):
Oh my gosh, dragging me, it was bad. I listened
back to it.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
I listened to what I listened to the show yesterday.
And I do this. I go back and I listened
to the show after the show is over with. And
if it's a great show, I listened to the segments
that I think are great. If it's a bad show,
I am that miserable m effort. And I listened to
the whole freaking thing, and I'm talking about everything. I
listened to every second of a dirty and I into
(10:00):
the War of the Roses even the second time it
plays in the replay and I go, this show wasn't
good today. School All right, real quick, Kenetta, hold our hand,
everybody hold hands for a second here, Father God, I
know yesterday we didn't come to play. We came and
(10:22):
we didn't do anything at all. We actually didn't have
our head in the game. Father, Just like with what
you're going to do with the tigers today, you're going
to give them a big victory, give us a victory
on the radio or podcast or wherever you're listening to us,
and let us have a great show today. I asked
us in your name with Kenyetta listening. Amen.
Speaker 15 (10:43):
Amen, All right, amen, amen, I'll i to redo it
all over again.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
Actually that was the I think that was a great
show on Friday when we had the confessions. All right,
can you go to take care, have a great day
today and make us, make us proud, make us some
for tough. Okay, all right, all right, we'll talk to
you later. Do people do that, by the way, do you?
Speaker 16 (11:10):
No?
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Well, no, but you go to work, you go home.
And yesterday I think the weather was also kind of
like a miserable day. It was, you know, kind of rough.
But do you go home from work and go man?
I didn't give it my all today some days, for sure?
Do you like do people like that? You know, like
you're working at CVS, do you go do you not
one of them jobs? I wish I would have given
(11:31):
them a little See, I disagree, I think.
Speaker 5 (11:34):
Trust me, the lady who was working at CVS earlier
this week when I picked up my prescription was not
given it.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Her Woh she wasn't she give you the extra long share?
Was no smile? I know what's up?
Speaker 17 (11:45):
Well?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
Look at this. Hold on, I got Peter and Paul
on the phone with us right now. I'll go to
Paul first. What's up?
Speaker 18 (11:49):
Paul?
Speaker 19 (11:50):
Hey, hey, first time?
Speaker 20 (11:52):
Long time?
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Yes, what's happening buddy?
Speaker 19 (11:57):
By long time, I mean I'm twenty six now. Think
I've been listening since the third grade.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Oh my god, I love it.
Speaker 19 (12:05):
I wanted to say it was a good show yesterday. Really,
I usually don't catch all of it in the car.
Speaker 11 (12:11):
I listened to.
Speaker 19 (12:11):
Every other part of the part of the radio podcast afterwards.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Okay, all right, you know what, I'm gonna take that
from you. What was your favorite thing that we did
yesterday on the show. Then I'm gonna put you on
the spot.
Speaker 19 (12:23):
What was the Kevin's thing about the motorcyclist?
Speaker 21 (12:26):
I love it?
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Okay, Yeah, I learned a little bit about this the Yeah,
that was good.
Speaker 21 (12:36):
I get that.
Speaker 19 (12:37):
I don't think they have a leg to say.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Okay, yeah, you're you're with keV. You're with Kevin on
the motorcycles. Thanks buddy for the call. I appreciate it. Paul,
let's go to Peter. Now, Hi, Peter, what's going on?
Speaker 1 (12:48):
Mojo?
Speaker 19 (12:49):
You know I'm gay, So I'm going to tell you
the truth because I don't care.
Speaker 22 (12:52):
It was so bad.
Speaker 16 (12:53):
I listened to w w J.
Speaker 7 (12:58):
God really.
Speaker 20 (13:03):
Love you.
Speaker 23 (13:04):
It was a time long time.
Speaker 7 (13:06):
So is that all right?
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Well, we're gonna do better for you today. Okay, I
love it so far.
Speaker 16 (13:11):
Thank you?
Speaker 22 (13:12):
All right, Radio, all.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Right, we're gonna give you a better show today, I
promise you. And let's get it going now.
Speaker 24 (13:18):
How smart are you in the mornings back in the day.
Speaker 7 (13:21):
We have to go back and chance where.
Speaker 4 (13:23):
We give you a bunch of events and you tell
us what year it happened.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
All right, We're starting off with this and a chance
for you to win jingle ball tickets. It was the
year the office I would like to stay.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
This pretends to me, I would like you to leave.
Speaker 25 (13:36):
Why don't you go outside and take a shot of
insulin and have a nap?
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Why do you always assume I have diabetes?
Speaker 25 (13:42):
You have a glass of apple juice and tell me
that you don't have diabetes. Okay, al right, See just
the noise you made when you stood up I could do.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
What a great show.
Speaker 26 (13:53):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
This was also the year that my son Luke came
into this world. Remember that the big song. Oh my god,
this was a great song, life House, You and me?
Great song. Yes, makes me happy?
Speaker 4 (14:12):
You're smart? You remember the year that stuff happened?
Speaker 2 (14:15):
Eight four four Mojo Live Ali? What year was that?
Speaker 20 (14:19):
It was two thousand and five.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
Congratulations to you, buddy, what gave it away?
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Appreciate that?
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Oh, appreciate you.
Speaker 7 (14:29):
I'll be I'll be honest.
Speaker 20 (14:31):
I just asked.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
I love this honesty smart. You're very smart man. Well,
ask Siri about our jingle ball, because sirih is going
to tell you that you're going to go and you're
going to see Nelly and shine down Big X the plug.

Thank you guys.
Speaker 20 (15:03):
Appreciate you guy.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
Hey, we appreciate you so much. We'll see you then.
Speaker 11 (15:07):
In the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
We'll get you caught up on what is trending this
morning to the Dirney one thirty. We're going for fifteen
today for tenn a, So he's going for the big one.
We'll see what kind of question Shannon comes up with
for Do you want to play him tomorrow or do
you kind of go you know what, I want to
make him lose today? No, I actually kind of want
to flay him tomorrow kind of.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
And now that I'm thinking about it, I think I
made the questions we too easy today. Yeah, I might
have to do a little revice, Okay. Lebron James is
facing some backlash this morning after hyping an announcement as
a major sequel to his bombshell twenty ten decision to
join the Miami Heat.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Yeah, what was that about yesterday? Well, not basketball had
to do with alcohol.
Speaker 27 (15:54):
Oh god, I feel like it's going to give me
the best opportunity to win more at hosting, not only
that signature cocktails, when I have a good time, when
that impressed commercial basically yeah, so we end up making
it look easy when at leaving people wanting more.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
Yeah, a little clap with Hennessy.
Speaker 5 (16:12):
I saw one comment that said, Lebron, guess what everybody?
People were just so pissed off about this.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
I think I still think that there's something too, like
when is he going to retire? And a lot of
people have said that they thought this year it will
all depend on how he starts, and if he starts
off hot, like really good, he'll retire at the end
of the year. And if he doesn't, if he has
a season kind of like he did last year where
it was kind of an type of season.
Speaker 11 (16:40):
It was.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
The well he always is, he's Lebron James, he should
but the problem is that he doesn't want. The rumor
is he does not want to go out and have
a season like Jordan had his last season when he
played for the Washington Wizards at the time, which what
they were called. But because I I think that you
want to go out and you want to be good
still and you don't want it to be a situation
where they're, you know, looking like Lebron is costing the team.
Speaker 6 (17:07):
Yeah, well, right now he's out with injury, so he
won't be playing in the preseason. He has an irritation
or a nerve damage in his glute, so he's looking
to be ready for the season opener. But I also
feel like Lebron will kind of do the Kobe Bryant
thing where he announces that this will be his last
season so he can have the full season of everybody
understanding this as his last bands and setting him off.
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Monalogy Jimmy Kimmel has lost seventy one percent of his
audience since his So returned to air last month. ABC
announcing last month that Kimmel's show would come back after
Disney Remembers suspended it over a monologue in which Kimmel
claimed that MAGA fans were trying to politically benefit from
Charlie Kirk's killing. And I want to give you a
(17:51):
little example of how big of a deal, how drastic
this is. So Jimmy had one point seven million people
between the ages of twenty five and fifty four that's
a big popular demographic. Watching his return show, his first
showback last Thursday, Jimmy Kimmelive had just two hundred and
sixty five thousand viewers in that same age group, from
(18:13):
one point seven mil to two hundred and sixty five thousand.
Speaker 6 (18:17):
Yeah, is that in line with like how his viewership
It was kind of Yeah, it was kind of what
it was before.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
The part that is wild to me and I still
don't get it, is that the ratings that guy that's
on Fox News, Greg Gottfeldt gets, he gets he gets
like two million people at night, but it's all people
that are you know, the the Fox News Republican people
that watch.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
It's very niche.
Speaker 2 (18:43):
So you're looking at it going how is because late
night television used to have a ton of people. But
we talked about this in our studio. I don't think
we mentioned this on the air. Kimmel and Fallon and Colbert,
they're not competing against each other, just like us here
on the radio. We're competing against things on TikTok, where
you know, you're competing against comedians that put out stuff
(19:04):
like barstool. In a lot of those stories that I
was reading was like barstool will put stuff out at
night knowing that that's when the audience is, and so
it competes for people that normally would have watched the
comedy of Jimmy Kimmel at night, you know what I mean.
So there's just so many other options now, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (19:25):
Art as good as they used to be, Like is
Jimmy Kimmel Cole?
Speaker 2 (19:29):
Are they as good as Letterman and Lino? I don't know,
you know what I mean. I don't know, Like are
the younger audience watching them, Like my son doesn't watch
late night television at all, but the guy freaking watches
anything that THEO Vaughn puts out.
Speaker 14 (19:42):
You know.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
I also think it does go to though there are
so many other options. Like I can remember if I
ever got to stay up late, I would watch Letterman's
Top ten List. I don't know why I loved that,
And I think if he it was very very popular,
if he had that now we'd all be like, we'd
rather be watching or doing something else. It's just landscape
has changed so much there but off set hanging out
(20:04):
on Geeky Palmer's podcast and denied the long standing rumor
that he cheated on Cardi B with Sweetie was so
you was Sweetie, no man, it was.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
A roma man, And I feel like I feel like
it was something deeper in that. For the split of
me and bro it was something deeper in that, deep
that I don't really want to touch on. But it's
something deeper in that, and.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
We don't really know many details. When Quavo and Sweetie
broke up, Quavo dropped hints and his song Messy suggesting
that she had cheated. Offset like you just said, said,
there's something deeper, but he will not ever go into details,
at least not yet.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Ps.
Speaker 5 (20:46):
He also said in that interview that his divorce from
Cardi B has not been finalized. And real quick, if
you love wordle, do people still play wordle?
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Okay, we'll tell her.
Speaker 5 (20:57):
NBC is developing a TV show version of Wordle, with
Jimmy Fallon attached as producer. Savannah Guthrie from The Today
Show is set to host. For Everything You miss from
Todays show, you can always catch up on the podcast
later in the day just search Mojo in the morning
in the free iHeartRadio ACPs.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Shannon is rewriting those questions Tim's going for fifteen.
Speaker 7 (21:22):
Its Mojo in.
Speaker 24 (21:22):
The Morning's thirty on the thirty. Call it a four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five six eight.
Speaker 28 (21:32):
This is Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 2 (21:35):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Yes, good
to have you guys here with us today. A couple
of things I thought were interesting I want to talk
about real quick. One is, uh, there is a study
that was just recently done that says that the whole
theory of couples should never go to bed angry is
actually they say bs. They say people uh, never going
(22:00):
to bed angry isn't always the best advice for couples.
Arguing late at night can make things worse because people
are tired, hungry, and emotional, but experts suggest waiting until
you're both calm and rested to actually work out the
argument is probably the healthier thing to do. It's funny
because of I always have heard in therapists have always said,
(22:24):
you don't ever want to go to bed angry because
it's going to give you a bad night's sleep, and
you know all this stuff. My therapist says totally the
opposite to be.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
Yes, my Karen, who actually I'm going to see later today,
she said, especially like Wes and I have learned this
the hard way, where we've tried to come to a
resolution if we're having some sort of conflict and then
it's midnight and we're both just like exhausted and not
our best. But I like, I think it's better to
(22:52):
separate a little bit and process and calm down and
then come back the next morning and like finish whatever
and that you.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Are talking about. That's what the therapists say. Yeah, it's
so much better.
Speaker 7 (23:03):
We can be angry.
Speaker 6 (23:04):
We don't got to be best friends in cool by
ya and sad our differences, but you better say.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
I love you. Well, here's an interesting and I love you,
I don't like you, now I love you. I always
say that it's always better to just get a little
angry sex, right, huh. Ain't nothing wrong with that, By
the way, I will say this to you and I
and I've talked to my therapist about this one. My
(23:30):
therapist always says, beware of the people that bring fights
up at night, right before bed, because usually those people
are trying to manipulate your sleep habits. And it's interesting
because I told him, Yeah, a couple of times Chelse
and I would get in fights because I'd bring something
up before bed, and he says, you better be careful.
You're trying to manipulate her sleeping, and like, what do
(23:50):
you mean? Like he's basically saying, you got a problem,
bring it up at three in the afternoon. Don't bring
it up at you know, nine o'clock at night or
ten o'clock at night. He says, you're manipulating her and
her rest. And he is, that's a little too much, bro. Honestly,
I are you intentionally not wanting her to get a good,
nice leep through. Well you don't necessarily think you are,
but you are.
Speaker 6 (24:10):
I think manipulation has an intentionality, factorial and on it.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
But I'll be honest with you, I'd stop doing it.
And I realized that it made me healthier person to say, hey,
I'm a little, you know, upset by something at two
in the afternoon, you know, before the kids are home
and all that. Here's something interesting. Zip coding is a
new dating trend. There's a new dating trend called zip
coding where people look up dates close to their own
(24:36):
zip code. So the the idea of dating the local,
because you don't want to find yourself in a and
we're going to talk about something with Anna a little
later this morning on the show, because Anna is not
a very good ZIP coding person. But that's interesting. I
want to know if any of our listeners do that.
Do you set your range on whatever your dating app
(24:57):
is to be a lot tighter range because the idea
that you don't potentially want to find yourself driving forty
five minutes to an hour to go see the person.
Because they say that one of the reasons why zip
coding is so good is they find that the relationships
last because people will find themselves more comfortable in that.
(25:20):
And I like this. This is one of those topics
where I sat there and I saw it and I thought, oh,
this is this is actually really good. A woman goes
on a date with a guy when he rejects When
she rejects his advances, he asks her to pay him back.
She posted on Reddit. After spending a weekend with the
(25:42):
man who visited her, she received a text later from
him asking to pay for half of the weekend, a
total cost of about one hundred and six dollars, claiming
that she actually should pay for this because it didn't
turn out to be a great date. People on Reddit
are commenting on this saying, yeah, I think that you
(26:03):
should probably pay wow if the date didn't go necessarily
as planned, And then another person said that I don't
think you deserve to have to pay for it if
he paid for it in the beginning. Just because it
didn't turn out great doesn't mean that you should be
paying for it. The risk you take going out on
a date not guaranteed. She claims that she already paid
some of the expenses. She said she paid seventy dollars
(26:24):
at a bar, and she had to pay forty dollars
for parking, but the extra hundred bless you, the extra
hundred and six dollars. She didn't feel like she needed
to pay because he chose to put his card down
initially for that.
Speaker 6 (26:37):
Yeah, like y'all said, that's the risk. Now's a god
for Like, that's what you go out, you pay.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
For the date. I like the whole before you go
on a date with somebody, I like the whole boy year,
Are you doing okay over there? This is cold and
flu season, Michael, I can you didn't turn your mic
off and every other MIC's on. Remember we're in a
little studio here. But I had a buddy of mine,
that you say or your money back. He used to
(27:02):
tell girls before he would go on the date, he
would say to them, I will promise you a great
date or your money back. And he said that he
went with girls and they were like, oh, okay, great,
and they thought that that was kind of fun, and
it was. He would pay for everything that was on
the date, and he found that going into the date
with that attitude was them having more fun knowing, Okay,
this is actually going to be kind of cool. He
(27:24):
never got his money back, and I actually he's a
single guy still, so text here here in nine five
five zero zero, going to bed angry is actually not
the good thing to do. My husband and I fight
all the time, and I actually think that when we're
fighting at night and we go to bed angry, we
wake up the next morning and carry it on to
a really bad work day. And then a couple other
(27:47):
people here that say that Mojo, I think Mojo needs
a new therapist. Have a great day. Everyone, probably who.
Speaker 24 (27:56):
Knows how good a liar are you. Five lives to
tell your mom is coming up next. Mojo in the morning.

not to go to bed angry because you never know,
like if what are you or the other person is
gonna wake up.
Speaker 2 (34:31):
You know, that's actually a really good point.
Speaker 29 (34:33):
I get it with that guilt.
Speaker 30 (34:35):
If God forbid that happen.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
Could you imagine, honestly, that would be horrendous guilt to
have to go to uh and live with for the
rest of your life. But I'll take my chances. I
want a good nights. No, I'm that way. I actually
feel that same way, and that's why I'm like, I
got to work it out.

That's why I feel like saying I love you with
my husband, yeah all the time, to make sure that

your heart?
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Everyone to go to sleep with.
Speaker 7 (35:05):
Haight in your heart?
Speaker 6 (35:05):
Am I saying I love you? That releases some of it,
at least in my opinion.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Absolutely, Lee, I think angry sex is the best sex too.
I don't know if you think that, but what do
you think any.
Speaker 30 (35:17):
My kids are in the car, so I.

Speaker 32 (35:57):
I am half ready, half not, but I'm ready to go.
Speaker 2 (36:01):
Okay, a little nervous with this one, Bianca, give us
a detail on this, all right?
Speaker 8 (36:05):
So Marine is the mom she just got out of
a ten year relationship, and we're gonna pretend that Amanda
the daughter actually went out to eat with the ex
boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Oh oh boy, no loyalty at all.
Speaker 32 (36:22):
Yeah, she's gonna be it's gonna be rough, but it's
gonna be great.
Speaker 2 (36:26):
All right, here we go. Five lies. These are what
listeners need to listen for. Lie number one, you're gonna say,
I went out to eat with His name is Chris. Yes,
I went out to eat with Chris and his new girlfriend.
Lie number two.
Speaker 5 (36:39):
She's actually so nice and really pretty.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Oh god. Lie number three she's really young though, like
younger than you.
Speaker 33 (36:48):
Oh jeez.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Lie number four, Anna, they were.
Speaker 7 (36:52):
Talking about having kids.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Oh god. And line number five, he told me not
to tell anyone, So keep your mouth shut. Mom's not
going to keep her mouth shut because she's gonna want
to kill you for saying all that stuff.
Speaker 16 (37:07):
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (37:08):
Absolutely, let's call mom up.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
Five lies. Tell your mom. If she stays on for
all five lies, you win her prize. If she hangs
up because she's all upset about this, you lose, and
Mom's pissed at you.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Ready, yep, ready to go?
Speaker 2 (37:23):
All right, we're gonna dollar up pulled on one second.
Speaker 23 (37:36):
Hi, Hi, Yeah, how's work.
Speaker 20 (37:43):
It's okay, it's been really busy.
Speaker 34 (37:45):
Oh sorry, do you have a couple of minutes to chat?
Speaker 1 (37:50):
Of course?
Speaker 32 (37:50):
Yeah, of course, okay, thank you. Okay, So I have
to tell you something. Justin and I ran into Chris
and his new girlfriend okay, and we ended up going
to lunch with them. But she's actually super nice and
(38:19):
shockingly she's like really pretty okay, but incredibly young.
Speaker 23 (38:30):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
He's been texting me an idiot.
Speaker 35 (38:38):
Go ahead, and they.
Speaker 17 (38:40):
They talked about having kids together. Okay, but he said
specifically to not say anything.
Speaker 23 (38:55):
So please want the super I don't care.
Speaker 35 (38:58):
I don't care.
Speaker 32 (39:00):
Please just keep your mouth shut.
Speaker 36 (39:03):
Why did your guys go out with him?
Speaker 32 (39:08):
We just ran into him, and you know the relationship
that aust has had with Chris, so.
Speaker 16 (39:16):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (39:21):
Okay, you are so mean to your mom. I just
want you to know that. Amanda, I can't even do it.
Speaker 32 (39:32):
How are you mom?
Speaker 23 (39:33):
Are you good?
Speaker 2 (39:35):
Amanda's mom? Yes, this is the Mojo in the morning show.
And Amanda had you on five lies to tell your mom.
Speaker 34 (39:45):
Oh my gosh, I.
Speaker 12 (39:48):
Was gonna cry for I know.
Speaker 32 (39:49):
I felt that that was they were like, are you ready?
And I was like, I'm half ready, but I'm half not.
Speaker 16 (39:58):
But.
Speaker 20 (40:00):
Scared, weren't you?
Speaker 32 (40:02):
I was scared, but but I was very confident what
I was saying because I was like.
Speaker 23 (40:06):
She's like, you're actually really pretty and young.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
Mom.
Speaker 5 (40:12):
To hear you say that I'm an idiot, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
Yeah, no, no, no, Amanda, I thought that you were
so cruel because I could see a smile on your
face as you were delivering all five of the lies.
Speaker 32 (40:26):
Oh my gosh, I mean because normally if that actually
was the case, which would never freaking happen, I would
have either not told her, told her be a text,
or like had to do it in person with like
my husband, with me doing most of the talking.
Speaker 6 (40:47):
Surprise, the real surprise is that you and Chris are
still texting.
Speaker 2 (40:51):
Oh really?
Speaker 3 (40:52):
Oh no, no, no, no.
Speaker 20 (40:53):
No no, no, he's yeah.
Speaker 23 (40:55):
And it's so weird because he will text.
Speaker 34 (40:57):
Me like little memes and little videos. It's like what
are you doing?
Speaker 20 (41:02):
Like why are you doing this?
Speaker 34 (41:04):
So yeah, and I'm pretty sure that's when I called
him a freaking idiot.
Speaker 2 (41:09):
So let's do this. Let's all now together. Wish upon
Chris the ugliest new girlfriend ever if he.
Speaker 7 (41:17):
Ever gets a girlfriend.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
Yes, yeah, best.
Speaker 5 (41:21):
Oh my gosh, hey, Aman, who won you a prize?
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Mom?
Speaker 23 (41:27):
What's surprised?
Speaker 1 (41:32):
I don't even know.
Speaker 23 (41:32):
I just to do this.
Speaker 2 (41:34):
The prize is a new guy hotter than Chris.
Speaker 20 (41:41):
I actually have that. I actually have that right now?
Speaker 7 (41:43):
Oh you do?
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Okay? All right, then we'll get you something that you
guys can enjoy together.
Speaker 34 (41:50):
Okay, he listens to you.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Guys, So what's his name? Shout out the new man?
Speaker 20 (41:55):
Oh no, I don't mean him, I mean Chris, Chris, Sorry, Chris,
It's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 4 (42:07):
Five lives to tell you.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
All right, five lives. Tell your mom you want to
be on a future five lives again, Text mom to
nine five five zero zero.
Speaker 24 (42:17):
If you marry a man who cheats on his wife,
you'll be married to a man who cheats on his wine.
Another world famous war of the roses happens tomorrow morning.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
It's seven and nine Mojo.
Speaker 7 (42:27):
In the morning.
Speaker 2 (42:28):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Kevid kind
of an interesting sleepover at his house last night.
Speaker 7 (42:34):
I did ask some guests.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
Who were the guys?
Speaker 7 (42:38):
Who are the guests?
Speaker 2 (42:38):
A special two folks, Josiah and his mom. Oh and
for those that don't know, Josiah's mom and you are
not together. That is correct. We are not in a relationship.
This is kind of interesting because I know that you
guys did this one time. I think before where you
guys went it was like before a holiday Christmas, you
(42:59):
stayed her house.
Speaker 6 (43:00):
Yeah, so what was the occasion last night for I
think she was I think she wants me. No, I'm
just I'm just I'm just playing. I know, I know,
I know, I know that's where your mind going. But honestly,
I think she was doing me a favor, to be
honest with you. I think she knows that I missed
Joe Siah. I think she knows that I missed taking
him to school and being there at night with him,
and you know, all the things that you can do
(43:21):
when you live in a household with your children. And
when I picked your site up from school yesterday, we
were sitting in the car for a while in her
driveway before he got out and went inside.
Speaker 7 (43:30):
He's like, I want to come over.
Speaker 2 (43:32):
I want to come over.
Speaker 6 (43:33):
I want to play roadblocks like that was the real
reason why we wanted to come over. But I think
some of it was also that he like missed me
during the week and I don't know. She text me
and I was like, she was like do you what
are you doing? And I'm like, I'm about to just
go and g some tacos. She's like, you want to
come in? And I came in and we got to talking.
I'm like, man, I should just beend a night. She's like, yeah,
why not?
Speaker 2 (43:52):
Wow, that's cool. So she's stayed at the as you
call it, the crib. When I sounded say, it doesn't
sound as good. It's like when we stay on rib,
just at the crib, like I'm having a rib. It's
like a West Country Western. So she does she sleep
(44:15):
like in a guest room? What do you got?
Speaker 7 (44:16):
What do you got?
Speaker 2 (44:17):
What you're sleeping? Ran the okay? You why don't choose?
Make her sleep in my bait and then you sleep
on the couch. You think that will work? I mean
uncomfortable when you are solid by doing this, couch is
very comfortable. So this is interesting. And by the way,
I love the relationship that you have with Josiah's mom, Jasmine.
I think that the two of you guys are amazing parents.
(44:40):
And I don't know if this happens in any other relationships,
because I gotta tell you, normally, the relationships I see
where people are co parenting, it's kind of.
Speaker 5 (44:50):
There are no sleep whatever, you're going to be any sleepovers.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
And I think in some cases, honestly, the sleepovers would
be would be weird for the kids. In this case,
it's actually cool for Josiah. He gets it, and he
doesn't ever say he wants you guys to be back together.
Speaker 6 (45:06):
He used to say that a lot when he was younger. Yeah,
he used to say it a lot when he was younger.
And honestly, I feel like it's very interesting the personality
that comes from Josiah when we are together. He's almost giddy. Yeah,
he's like a different level of happy. It's like a
Christmas vibe. That's a great way to put it. It
(45:26):
is like a Christmas vibe.
Speaker 7 (45:27):
I love it. But do you think this gets his
hopes up?
Speaker 17 (45:30):
Like?
Speaker 7 (45:31):
Oh, maybe one day.
Speaker 6 (45:32):
I think, no matter what we do, there will always
be that hope in his heart that his parents will
get together. I can only you know, articulate, but it's
tough because you don't want to like just slam the
door in his face, like, oh, bro, don't ever get
your hopes of this will never be. But the only
way I feel like to show him that it will
(45:52):
never be is if we didn't spend time together. But
that's not the right way to go about it, Ivy,
you know, do you.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
You know I've said this before, and I think that
this would be I think you're gonna end up being
with somebody and you'll end up getting married, because I
think that that's just your future and I want that.
But I also wonder if it wouldn't be a bad idea,
because you guys make such great kids, if you and
Jazmine just had another kid together and give Josiah a
sibling that is also his same genetics.
Speaker 37 (46:21):
No.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
I was watching a show one time and it was
the kid was the was a only child, but didn't
realize that his parents his parents had a child before
him and they gave him on for an adoption, and
it was trying to find that kid to get the
same you know, genetics. This one would actually be that case.
Speaker 6 (46:41):
I don't know if I want to live my life
with the sentence being I saw it on the show
one time, so.
Speaker 5 (46:49):
I think that and this is making a big assumption,
but I would assume that you are going to end
up in another relationship and another child or even a
stepchild as a possibility. And the same for Jasmine. Yeah,
she's a phenomenal human being. I can see this happening
for both of you.
Speaker 6 (47:04):
Yeah, And I want to fall in love with someone
before I have a child, not just have a child
for the sake of Josiah having like a sister.
Speaker 7 (47:13):
But people do that all the time.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
You always see where people will people you know, they'll
end up having kids through maybe a donor donor or somebody.
It just becomes you know, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (47:24):
It all has to have a reason, though, Like if
your reason is because you know, maybe you can't have
children or your own or whatever the case may be,
or you're ready for children and you just don't have
the partner for me just to have a baby with Jasmine,
or Josiah can have a sibling with the same jeans.
Speaker 11 (47:37):
Nah.
Speaker 2 (47:38):
Don't you think though, that Josiah will one day thank
you for this when he's looking for a liver or something.
Speaker 6 (47:43):
I think, what's your blood tite?
Speaker 2 (47:50):
I don't know. I think you guys also make wonderful
kids and stuff like that. So I mean we got
it right the first time.
Speaker 34 (47:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Did you guys have drinks when you came over to
the house, like do you did you offer her littless stroke?
Wait a second, you got wait wait you gave You
gave her strawberries. That's what she wanted. Why are you
looking at anything?
Speaker 6 (48:14):
That just seems to me like, so, what does that
sound like romantic? I didn't feed her the strawberries, and
they say, open your mouth?
Speaker 7 (48:21):
Did you want to?
Speaker 2 (48:22):
Of all things? Did you cut the green tops off
of them?
Speaker 25 (48:24):
For you?
Speaker 2 (48:24):
For sure, she could have asked for like Dorito's or
something like that. That's a little less romantic.
Speaker 6 (48:29):
She said you, she said you got strawberries, and reasoning,
I was like, I matter of fact, as a matter
of fact, I keep it right over here in my romance.
Speaker 7 (48:39):
I couldn't.
Speaker 6 (48:39):
I didn't have a quark screw for the wine though,
so I'm on TikTok like looking like, how do you
open the wine without a course?
Speaker 2 (48:45):
They said?
Speaker 6 (48:45):
The one person said, flip the bottle over, tie a
rag or some type of towel around it, and then
beat the top of it with a shoe.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
That didn't work. Why did you not video.
Speaker 6 (49:01):
Then they see a light, like get a lighter and
light or a bloodworts, whatever you have that's hot and
light the top of it, like around the rim, around
the course crew and that all Wiggles's way out.
Speaker 7 (49:10):
That didn't work.
Speaker 6 (49:12):
Then I found someone They say, find a nail, put
it inside of like a drill. Drill the nail inside
of the screwdriver, and Paul take the hammer side that
you like, pull the nails out and then pull that out.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
And that worked. Oh wow, I would just door dash.
Speaker 6 (49:29):
I thought about going next door and be like, hey,
can I get a screwdriver? But I didn't want to
be that guy. What's up page? How you doing good?
How are you fantastic? What'd you think about this one?
keV uh had a night a night out with Josiah's mom.
Speaker 20 (49:45):
Yes, and I think that's admirable.
Speaker 26 (49:47):
I am telling cuz, stand your ground, stand your morals.
You don't have to have a baby just so that
you're Sia can have a sip.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
Absolutely, this guy's crazy. But if he's gonna have another kid,
wouldn't it be great to have a kid that's got
the same genetics.
Speaker 26 (50:02):
But wouldn't it be good to have a dad who
has great morals and a great role model.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
But what's wrong with the morals he's doing. He's making
a baby. He's making a beautiful baby. They did it
with Josiah, why not do it again?
Speaker 26 (50:14):
He said, he wants to fall in love and be that,
be that relationship that he wants to si to have
in the future before he has a kid.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
Absolutely, you got the right day, Paige. You're a buzzkill, Paige.
Come on, I am Paige. What do you think. Don't
you think that that was a beautiful thing for Josiah's
mom to say, Hey, I want Josiah to have a
good good night. So she actually picked up and came over.
Speaker 23 (50:41):
It's amazing.
Speaker 26 (50:42):
I am a teacher, and I wish that all of
my parents who are divorced would have that type of
relationship with their their other.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Yeah, because you see the next morning the pain on
those kids. Christina, what's up? It's mojo in the morning?
Speaker 1 (50:56):
Hi Han.
Speaker 13 (50:57):
My opinion is I know a few lynn that go
back to their baby's father to get a second sibling
because they don't want another baby father.
Speaker 2 (51:07):
You know what? Okay, So there by the way, she
also started off calling me hun I like that Christina.
Speaker 1 (51:15):
Look, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 7 (51:18):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (51:19):
Let me get off the phone, I possibly can. What's up, Darren?
How you doing?
Speaker 19 (51:23):
Hey guys, good morning.
Speaker 11 (51:25):
I'm curious.
Speaker 17 (51:26):
Kevin.
Speaker 11 (51:26):
Did she bring grapes?
Speaker 2 (51:31):
No, she brought melons. Kevin, By the way, you just
made it weird. You just made it. It was right there.
I think you had a little too much don Julio
last night. Oh my god. By the way, did you
get this topic approved by Josiah before you talked about Abram?
Speaker 4 (51:56):
Get ghost? It sucks? Second date update?
Speaker 11 (51:59):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (51:59):
Ay twenty? Called Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 24 (52:02):
I find fall leaves to be most beautiful when being
raked by somebody else.
Speaker 2 (52:06):
This is Mojo in the Morning. All right, we're giving
you Tate McCrae sold out tickets right now all this week.
We have those at seven thirty. Your chance to win
go to the show Monday night, Little Caesars Arena. We
(52:28):
do have Tiger's tickets for today too. It's a win
or Tigers are done and your chance to win comes
up this morning, and we'll do that before ten o'clock,
So sometime between now and ten.
Speaker 11 (52:40):
Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (52:42):
Right now, We're gonna get you caught up on what's
trending in the dirty on the thirty. Here, I'm Mojo
in the morning.
Speaker 5 (52:48):
What's up, Shannon, Well, like you just said, today, it
is win or that's it for our Detroit Tigers as
we take on the Mariners in Game four of the Alds.
The Mariners leading the series two to one and will
advance to the ale ce Us.
Speaker 2 (53:02):
With the win, which we are not gonna let happen.
Speaker 16 (53:04):
But a J.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
Hinch following yesterday's loss, well, we're not gonna quit, you know.
Speaker 38 (53:08):
We we we had two games where we pitched tremendously well,
and we had a lot of parts of this game
where we pitched tremendously well. But listen, this is the playoffs,
and I keep saying that they got here for a
reason too, and we're gonna play the rest of this
series out and see, uh see if we can answer
the challenge of getting through this lineup and putting up
more runs.
Speaker 2 (53:25):
Any of you guys go into the game today, No,
my son is going. Yeah, Anna, by the way, goes
like she's she lives right across the street. You can
pretty much just go anytime you want to have to go.
Do you go to when you go by yourself? Do
you actually sit in the seat or just walk around
and kind of look?
Speaker 7 (53:42):
Yesterday I brought a friend with me.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Oh you did? Okay?
Speaker 7 (53:45):
Have a camera? Guy?
Speaker 14 (53:48):
It was were.
Speaker 2 (53:52):
Is that the official? Is it a like just a
friend that does okay?
Speaker 7 (53:57):
Hey man, game I play.
Speaker 17 (54:01):
All right?
Speaker 2 (54:01):
Those are very straight.
Speaker 5 (54:03):
Dolly Parton's younger sister Frida publicly sharing that she's quote
unquote been up all night praying for Dolly, saying the
seventy nine year old isn't feeling so great lately.
Speaker 1 (54:15):
What this morning?
Speaker 39 (54:16):
Growing concern for iconic singer Dolly Parton after her sister
posted on social media asking for prayers amid the star's
recent health issues. In a post Tuesday, part and sister
(54:37):
Freda writing, I was up all night praying for my
sister Dolly. Many of you know she hasn't been feeling
her best lately, and asking her fans to be prayer
warriors and pray with me. It comes just more than
a week after the seventy nine year old announced she
was delaying her Las Vegas residency from December to next fall.
Speaker 7 (54:56):
Is showing the show.
Speaker 39 (54:59):
In a post written with her trademark sense of humor,
Dolly saying, my doctors tell me that I must have
a few procedures.
Speaker 2 (55:06):
As I joked with them, it must.
Speaker 39 (55:07):
Be time for my one hundred thousand mile checkup, although
it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon.
In all seriousness, given this, I'm not going to be
able to rehearse and put together the show that I
want you to see and the show that you deserve
to see. What the seventy nine year old assuring the
public that she has no plans to retire, saying, don't
(55:29):
worry about me quit in the business because God hasn't
said anything about stopping yet. But I believe he is
telling me to slow down right now. Just this year,
Dolly suffered the loss of her husband of nearly sixty years.
She recently explained why she keeps pushing forward.
Speaker 36 (55:44):
I would rather awaar out than rushed out, because I
think a lot of people when they do retire, they
start to rush.
Speaker 39 (55:51):
In her post yesterday, Dolly's sister saying, I know in
my heart She's going to be just fine.
Speaker 2 (55:57):
She's kind of.
Speaker 5 (55:58):
Backtracking those now she is so this morning, Frida, who
again as Delly, Parton's sister said she did not mean
to scare people by asking for prayers.
Speaker 2 (56:06):
She wrote on social media. It's not that serious.
Speaker 5 (56:10):
She writes, She's been a little under the weather and
I simply asked her prayers because I believe so strongly
in the power of prayer.
Speaker 2 (56:19):
Ye scare us. So you know, you can't do that
when you got somebody that is of Dolly's age but
also her magnitude on this world, kind of like Betty White,
the Betty White when before she died, the same thing happened.
I think there was like a story where somebody that
was like one of her managers or whatever came out
and said, please think of Betty right now. I'm like, what,
(56:40):
what's going on?
Speaker 5 (56:41):
Well, that's like anytime anybody posts a photo of any
like Dick Van Dyke, who's one hundred years old, I'm like,
oh my god. Before I even read the caption, I'm like,
he died.
Speaker 7 (56:50):
Yeah, a sad day.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
We're all on it. Yeah, it's funny. You know, these
all these networks and stuff. You know that they have
packages that are already ready to go put together for
these guys exactly, and they get thrown away or thrown
off when somebody is younger and ends up. I'm gonna say,
seventy nine is not old, but you're iconic enough that
I could see where they probably know that her health
(57:14):
hasn't been great.
Speaker 5 (57:15):
But what honestly, once you do across the threshold of
an eight in front of the number, then I do
think old.
Speaker 2 (57:24):
But seventy nine to me is still not that old
that twelve months really makes exactly.
Speaker 5 (57:31):
Taylor Swift has a message for fans who aren't so
much loving her new album, The Life of a Show Girl.
Speaker 40 (57:38):
I welcome the chaos.
Speaker 29 (57:39):
The rule.
Speaker 1 (57:40):
The rule of show.
Speaker 40 (57:41):
Business is if it's the first week of my album
release and you are saying either.
Speaker 2 (57:46):
My name or my album title, you're helping. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (57:49):
She's like, if you're hating on it, that's fine. She's like,
everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
Speaker 2 (57:54):
In the past, have people hated on her stuff.
Speaker 40 (57:57):
I have a lot of respect for people's subjective opinions
on art.
Speaker 2 (58:01):
I'm not the art gleast.
Speaker 7 (58:03):
It's like, everybody is allowed to feel exactly.
Speaker 40 (58:06):
How they want, and what our goal is as entertainers
is to be a mirror.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Is this unusual that there are people that don't like it,
I don't think so. I think you're either a tailor
fan or you're not like I think people hating it
that are not that are Taylor fans. I'm not.
Speaker 5 (58:24):
Oh, you're saying like Swifties specifically or aren't loving the
album so much?
Speaker 2 (58:28):
Are there Swifties not like loving the album? That's what
I'm wondering. I'll be honest with you. I'd like a
Friday we got all inundated with it and then over
the weekend it was our movie and stuff. But right
now I'm listening to radio and streaming services and I'm
not hearing a lot of Taylor's stuff being streamed right now.
Speaker 12 (58:45):
Yeah, there are some Swifties who actually don't really like
this album, but I think it's good for me because
her next tour will have open scenes.
Speaker 2 (58:53):
What are they saying they don't specifically like about it.
Speaker 12 (58:56):
I think it's just a different style of music for her.
I mean, she's happy now and love so it's more
like poppy and it's more silly. She doesn't have poetic
lyrics as much as she used to in this album,
and that's what we're usually used to.
Speaker 2 (59:08):
So some people are saying that she sounds like she's
trying to be Sabrina Carpenter a little bit too much
like that was one Rolling Stone critic, row really and
I and I saw her kind of push back on
that and say, well, I'm influenced by the people who
I'm around, and she's a good friend.
Speaker 5 (59:25):
Of mine, So I feel like she should go back
to country again for a minute. Yes, yeah, A country's
so hot right now, it has been for a while.
But would country take her back then? I don't know,
it's a great question. I'm not a country started to.
Speaker 10 (59:37):
Start listening again. Would you listen to her when she's country?
Speaker 2 (59:40):
Really?
Speaker 1 (59:41):
Well?
Speaker 5 (59:42):
And speaking of Taylor, her fiance and his brother Jason
raising eyebrows on this week's episode of their New Heights podcast,
specifically in their film club segment by praising Blake Lively's
performance in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. Remember that movie,
As rumors are still swirling about a falling out between
Blake and Taylor, there is a.
Speaker 23 (01:00:02):
Sequel, okay, nice, there's also the film deview of film
debut of our friend Blake Lively.
Speaker 21 (01:00:09):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
She killed it, wonderful killed it. I might have been
a little biased, but I was. I thought Bridget's.
Speaker 24 (01:00:16):
Story was the was the most relatable and probably the
most fun.
Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Interesting that maybe maybe they're friends again.
Speaker 5 (01:00:23):
Yeah, lots of hints story For everything you missed from
today's sho you can always check out the podcast later
in the day. Just starts to Mojo in the Morning
in the Free Iheartly and Mosu.
Speaker 24 (01:00:33):
In the Morning on social media's mode in the Morning,
He's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
All right, we got tickets to go see Tate McCrae.

Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
And who you take in with you to the Tate
mccraid concert on Monday night.
Speaker 41 (01:01:06):
I'm gonna take my best friend. She's a huge fan
and she's been really busy lately, so I think it'll
be good.
Speaker 2 (01:01:11):
Surprised, nice friend. Congratulations to you guys on getting those tickets.
Have a great time. Okay, thank you tag us in
your pictures. We appreciate that the person who won yesterday's
tickets to the Tigers game. They what a cutie, by
the way, she was. You know that's funny as you
don't know what listeners look like when they win. I
(01:01:31):
have no clue because obviously this is radio. And you
can go on our Instagram story and you can see
a pick that we posted. We shared a picture of
the winner and what was her name again, Lydia from yesterday?
Ashley Ashley Ashley And was that her boyfriend that she
took through the game.
Speaker 12 (01:01:51):
I believe so.
Speaker 2 (01:01:52):
Yeah, he's handsome, good looking couple. I like him. Yeah,
shout out to y'all. We have only good looking listeners,
only good looking people listening to this show. We appreciate you, guys.
We like the ugliest too. We are, by the way,
the number one hit music station for good looking people.
So I just want you to know that.
Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
That's not the only survey that was done. I sent
it in a text breaking dirty Shannon neglected to report it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
What is that? So I guess I will you ready
for this?
Speaker 6 (01:02:20):
Yeah, study show men should ejaculate twenty one times a
month to avoid risk of cancer.
Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
Kids are listening. She'll report it. She'll do that later
when the kids are in school. No, no, no, that was,
by the way, not what we were talking about at
the time. I said, we are number one hit music
station for people who are good looking, and you.
Speaker 6 (01:02:41):
Literally took it to the level talking about a way
to avoid cancer.
Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
This is a health report. It is breast cancer Awareness month.
When it's testicular cancer Awareness month, we will bring that.
You know what I'm saying. You know, you know exactly
what you're doing what I'm saying right now. Please geez please,
all right, all right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.
(01:03:07):
I was talking about what was it? Zip coding? Is
that what it's called? It's yeah. Zip coding is when
you're dating within your same zip code. That's like a
more popular trend right now where people are doing it
on dating apps because they just don't want to have
to travel. One person that does not zip code is
Anna Rob the member of the Mojo on the Morning
Show that just recently joined, and she was going to
(01:03:29):
Pittsburgh to go see a guy and she's not now.
Speaker 10 (01:03:33):
Canceled the flight. Oh, I canceled the flight. And I
think I'm going to remove him as a follower, and
I'm about to unfollow him because it's deep.
Speaker 7 (01:03:41):
It's that deep. I don't want to waste my time.
Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
Wait, why is he kind of like giving you crap
right now? Or what's he doing?
Speaker 25 (01:03:47):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:03:48):
Ever since the I mean yes, he has been giving
me crap ever since I said something to him about
how I felt like his mood changed after I booked
the flight. I was like, I just don't like it,
like I feel like now he he's punishing me for
saying that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:04):
Are you guys still talking at all? Are you like
totally ghosted here?
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:04:07):
Like we like little talking, but it's not the same.
And it's even worse now than before. And you would
think after I brought that up and been like, no,
your your moods changed, like I don't like this, he
would have changed.
Speaker 2 (01:04:18):
But no, he's gotten worse. He was kinder before you
booked the flight than when you booked the flight. He
all of a sudden became so it happens a little cocky, probably.
Speaker 7 (01:04:26):
Yeah, And I was like, no, I'm not wasting my
time coming there.
Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
Well, let's talk. Let's talk about you and your extensive
dating outside of the three one, three, two four eight seven,
three four six one six, all of our six six,
any of our zip codes within our listening areas, like
you don't even it's not even so much that you
live in downtown Detroit and you will date somebody that's
an hour or two away, like you got to go
(01:04:50):
on an airplane whenever you're gonna be Why is that?
Speaker 10 (01:04:53):
We talked recently about this one. Literally, I've talked to
one guy in Detroit and everyone's like, you can't be
a homi hopper.
Speaker 7 (01:05:01):
I feel like when you date in Detroit, everyone.
Speaker 10 (01:05:03):
Knows everyone somehow, or at least in my circle of friends,
like we're all somehow tied to each other. So if
I'm dating someone in Detroit, I'm gonna be a homie hopper.
And I don't want to be a homie hopper. So
I've just I've I've been finding guys have been finding
me outside of Detroit. So before Pittsburgh Man, there was
(01:05:25):
New York Man and he was like, actually kind of serious,
also an athlete, not an athlete, a business owner. Okay, yeah,
So I was going to New York last summer probably
every other weekend to see him, and it was like
the best experience of my life. I would I would
pay for the flights at first, but then he did,
(01:05:45):
so it was like a free trip every time I
went there, and I just I prefer it.
Speaker 7 (01:05:51):
I think, I.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Think that you're doing this is probably a lot of work,
isn't it. I mean, I mean in your mind.
Speaker 10 (01:06:00):
I used to be self employed, so I didn't have
a lot to do. Nothing really worked at me in Detroit.
Now I have to be here Monday through Friday, so
it's a little more difficult.
Speaker 7 (01:06:10):
But I liked it. I felt like.
Speaker 10 (01:06:11):
We were really focused on each other when I was
visiting him in New York and we had like the
best time, and then I could come back to Detroit
and be really focused.
Speaker 7 (01:06:20):
On my job, which was fun.
Speaker 2 (01:06:22):
Boy. It makes for your weekends definitely not RESTful because
you're getting on planes and getting off planes. I want
to know dating long distance to dating local and pros
and cons and thoughts on this one. Here at eight
four to four Mojo Live eight four four sixty six
sixty five four eight is our telephone number. I mean,
(01:06:42):
I guess it does enable you to actually, I don't know,
up your sky miles, you know what I mean.
Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
Yeah, you check your your horoscope.
Speaker 10 (01:06:53):
Yeah, And it hasn't been about my dating life.
Speaker 7 (01:06:55):
No, so you shouldn't be about your dating life.
Speaker 10 (01:06:58):
Really, I know, Well I'm not I'm not right now.
I just canceled the flight with my one date.
Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
You follow a horscope that much, that's amazing, that's to me.
I you know, I don't know. I do think that
this is interesting that you canceled this flight with this
guy because he changed. And I often wonder sometimes, like
if that happens in relationships with people locally too, Like
(01:07:24):
if you make a plan for a date, and then
once you make the plan for a date, they all
of a sudden don't need to chase anymore because they
know that there's something on the calendars that's exactly what
it is. You think there's a thrill of the hunt.
Speaker 6 (01:07:37):
Yeah, there is, man, I'm there's a I can't really
explain it, but there's a feeling that's associated with getting
you at least to say yes.
Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
And then once that feeling is gone, you got that
dopamine hit. I've got that hit.
Speaker 6 (01:07:51):
And I was just like, okay, well you'll be here
on the sixteen if I can't just see who you
get here?
Speaker 5 (01:07:55):
Okay, question for you, what did he say when you
told him that you aren't coming anymore, not going to
show up.
Speaker 7 (01:08:00):
I haven't talked to him since I canceled it, and
he hasn't.
Speaker 2 (01:08:03):
Reached out to you. You made the right decision.
Speaker 7 (01:08:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:08:07):
The last time I talked to him was like maybe
two days ago, and I canceled the flight like one
day ago. But he was like, Nope, he's still not
acting right.
Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
When you were talking to him, was he assuming that
you're still coming this weekend?
Speaker 7 (01:08:17):
Yeah, he was.
Speaker 10 (01:08:18):
He likes he said something like, I need to figure
out if my family's coming, because I'm not trying to
meet his family, So I think that's assuming that I'm
going to.
Speaker 5 (01:08:28):
Be there, or also I need to figure out if
my family is coming because I might not have time
for you to me. That's another excuse that he had
in his back pocket.
Speaker 6 (01:08:36):
Even have family, is somebody else coming?
Speaker 7 (01:08:42):
This is not the man for me. This is not
the man.
Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
And again for those that don't know, he's a pro athlete,
so he's a pro football player that she was going
to see. What's going on? Phil?
Speaker 21 (01:08:51):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (01:08:53):
Hey, good morning, Mojoe, good morning, morning, morning morning.
Speaker 7 (01:09:00):
He's got to call you out.
Speaker 4 (01:09:00):
You've called the ZIP coding and you named all the
area codes.
Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
Oh that's funny. We all just like you're right. Yeah,
zip coding is dating within your same zip code, So
I guess what four eight something whatever? But no, but
that no, that's uh, that's thank you for the correction, Phil.
I appreciate it. What's up, Sarah? Hi, Hi Sarah, Hello,
(01:09:25):
Hi Sarah Sarah. What's better dating? Dating local or dating
long distance?
Speaker 26 (01:09:31):
I would say that like dating.
Speaker 1 (01:09:33):
Oh gosh, I don't know.
Speaker 42 (01:09:34):
I'm new to the dating field again after a thirteen
and a half year relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
Okay, were you married in that relationship or just long
term dating?
Speaker 42 (01:09:41):
I was married for four and a half out of
it before, so infidelity so for you separated us.
Speaker 16 (01:09:48):
But that's a.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Story for a different day.
Speaker 37 (01:09:51):
No.
Speaker 23 (01:09:51):
So now I have a boyfriend. He's an hour away,
and I will say.
Speaker 42 (01:09:55):
I love it because when we are together, it is
like just us together. But on days that you're having
a rough day, you can't just like run over and
get a hug. You know, it's that's a drive, Like
you can't just drive an hour for a little kiss
or a hug to make you feel better. You gotta
get on the phone and then it's still not the same.
But like, also that space is nice after being with
(01:10:17):
somebody for such a long time and constantly being with them,
So I don't know, there's pros and tons.
Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
You know what's interesting is that you're right. It does
make for tough to get the hug, but it makes
things more intentional when you know that you're an hour away,
you're gonna have to make a commitment to going. But
it's even bigger for Anna who goes to New York
or Pittsburgh.
Speaker 34 (01:10:41):
You know, I think that is insane.
Speaker 42 (01:10:45):
How can you and like also meeting them for the
first time, Like, girl, I hope you.
Speaker 43 (01:10:49):
Have your life three sixty on for everybody around.
Speaker 10 (01:10:52):
Yeah, that's another topic for another the heart.
Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
The hardest part of what she was saying, and the
reason why she does it is then she and have
there's no person that can say, hey, I dated that
same person. So out of the area. What's up, James?
How you doing?
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
James?
Speaker 44 (01:11:08):
The bartender on the phone, man robs to come to
the l She needs to come to Lavonia, date some
local margarita.
Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
You know what that's interesting. Everybody always talks about, you know, uh,
support local. She needs to support local guys.
Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
Huh that's right.
Speaker 19 (01:11:28):
Can I say one more thing too, Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Yeah, as long as it's not something like statistic doings,
go ahead.
Speaker 29 (01:11:36):
If you were the blonde girl that came to the
bar on Saturday and the orange shirt and the blue jeans,
I gave you that patrol shot, you need to come
back on working Friday.
Speaker 2 (01:11:47):
Yeah, we've now just started doing misconnections with this poor guy, Tracy,
what's up, Good morning morning.
Speaker 45 (01:11:55):
I was just gonna comment a couple of things. One is,
you know, when you're you have kids, especially I have
two kids in high school, and so dating someone that's
not local is very difficult to go around sports schedules
because even when I don't have them, they have.
Speaker 43 (01:12:13):
Games, yes, And so if you date someone that doesn't
live anywhere near you, then that kind of takes away
an entire weekend.
Speaker 2 (01:12:21):
Well, that actually is an interesting one for a lot
of the listeners of ours that are single parents, because
when you're talking about dating local, you're right. Even just
dating somebody in a town over is not really dating local,
right when your kids are involved in so much.
Speaker 43 (01:12:37):
Exactly, And so if they're closer, you can maybe see
them after the kids' games or there's still time to
you know, maybe grab lunch and you know, you can
do little things here and there and still be available
for your kids.
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Yeah. Well, in Shannon your case, you ended up marrying
and you guys had a distance when you guys were
dating each other.
Speaker 5 (01:12:58):
Right, Ai, Yeah, it was a drivable difference, but it's
still definitely you know, was at times if it was
rush hour, it was a good fifty minutes to an
hour difference there.
Speaker 7 (01:13:09):
Wow. Yeah, Ali, what's up?
Speaker 13 (01:13:13):
Hye?
Speaker 2 (01:13:14):
How you doing?
Speaker 30 (01:13:15):
My boyfriend and I are four hours apart and we
have five children between two of us.
Speaker 2 (01:13:20):
Wow.
Speaker 11 (01:13:21):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (01:13:21):
Did you guys meet when you were four hours aparty?
Did somebody move away?
Speaker 30 (01:13:25):
We did meet on Facebook dating?
Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Actually that's wild. So okay, so talk to us about locations.
Where are you? Where is he?
Speaker 23 (01:13:32):
I'm in Holly and he's in Malverne, Ohio.
Speaker 7 (01:13:36):
Oh my god, exactly four hours away.
Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
Yeah. And for those people that don't know, like the Holly,
Ohio thing, that's a bit that's a that's four hours,
Like you said, I mean, that's that's a little bit
of a distance. It's not like you're, you know, in
Monroe or something like that and can get across the
border in less than thirty No.
Speaker 46 (01:13:52):
Our first date was two and a half hours.
Speaker 29 (01:13:54):
We met in the middle.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
Yeah, that's the one I'm wondering. Do you guys meet
in the middle a lot of times?
Speaker 23 (01:14:00):
Know, that was the only time we met in the middle.
Other than that, we just go to each other. He
actually got a job here now, so he's coming here more.
Speaker 2 (01:14:07):
But it's funny live there. What you end up learning
is you end up learning truck stops, you know what
I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:14:14):
Which ones are the good bathrooms, which ones have the
good food inside?
Speaker 7 (01:14:18):
Where the cracker barrels are?
Speaker 1 (01:14:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
Exit, that's got a Starbucks. That's interesting. I you know what.
And also it's tough to do that when you're leasing
a car. So if you got you only got twelve
thousand miles a year. I got a guy for that.
What's going on? John? How you going?
Speaker 4 (01:14:34):
Hey?
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
What's are you?
Speaker 13 (01:14:36):
First off?
Speaker 28 (01:14:37):
I want to I just want to say, do not
support local dudes?
Speaker 2 (01:14:41):
What how dare you are? Local guys? Bad guys?
Speaker 21 (01:14:45):
No, I ain't say that.
Speaker 28 (01:14:46):
I'm just saying, don't support local dudes. Just support yourself
let them support you.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Oh that's a good point.
Speaker 28 (01:14:52):
Also, if a mark Under's giving you free drinks to
catch the number run.
Speaker 2 (01:14:59):
I like, what do you date, Where do you date?
Speaker 28 (01:15:05):
I'm listening.
Speaker 47 (01:15:05):
I'm married.
Speaker 28 (01:15:06):
I'm married and I've been with I've been with my
wife for seventeen years. We got married seven years ago.
But I just I got to be.
Speaker 48 (01:15:15):
Honest with you.
Speaker 28 (01:15:16):
I've had one long distance relationship. I was much younger
when that occurred, and it is like one it is
extremely difficult. And we were together before the distance occurred,
so you know, the distance was actually became an issue
and ended the relationship. Really, but I've been around people,
(01:15:36):
have friends, coworkers that have these long distance relationships, and
I'm just trying to tell.
Speaker 29 (01:15:41):
You, ninety nine percent of the time, it's not a
quality relationship.
Speaker 28 (01:15:46):
A lot of people want that distance because they can't
handle a real relationship. A real relationship requires commitment in
daily interaction. You don't have daily interaction with somebody, you
are not making a real lifelong connection.
Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
Well. Also, although I got to tell you, there's a
lot of people that seem to find themselves dating on
FaceTime or or whatever, like they see each other every day,
so they're but they're not in person with each other.
Speaker 10 (01:16:15):
I think you just have to get more creative with it.
Like I've had when I was dating the New York guy,
Like he's sending me flowers every week, or he's buying
me door dash like Here's like things like that make
me feel connected to him even when I'm not with him.
Plus we text all day or we were on the
phone all day.
Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
Do you ever look at it though, like the relationship
has to get to a level where we one of
us make the.
Speaker 1 (01:16:38):
Decision that you're sure.
Speaker 10 (01:16:40):
And I would say that's why I'm more hesitant now
to date outside of Detroit, because I know I'm in Detroit,
especially like now that I'm here.
Speaker 5 (01:16:48):
With all of that, that just has to be you
have to say that right off the bat, I'm not
moving so right.
Speaker 2 (01:16:52):
I do think that there's something to what he said, though,
when you sit there and say I don't want them
in my face all the time, you know, and and
I like the idea that we're a little bit distance apart.
If you're saying that, is it really the right person
for you? You know what I mean? Because what happens
when they are in your face all the time? Then
is it going to be tough for you to deal
with all of that? So, by the way, the iHeartRadio
(01:17:13):
app is blasting right now with listeners from all over
the world wanting to meet Anna. Rob This is imagine,
look at it. I'm looking at the text right now,
texting at nine five five zero zero. I'm in New
York listening to you guys all the time. I'd love
Ifvannah would like to come visit me another one here.
I'm in West Palm Beach, Florida. If Anna would like
(01:17:33):
to get out of the cold and into the sun
kind of down.
Speaker 7 (01:17:36):
There, Okay, send the ig profile.
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
Alright, Detroit, this is Mojo.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
In the Morning.
Speaker 22 (01:17:49):
Mojo.
Speaker 3 (01:17:50):
He's amazing live mojok star.
Speaker 2 (01:18:05):
Let me take you back to the beginning.
Speaker 3 (01:18:07):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (01:18:11):
You're a doo doo.
Speaker 11 (01:18:12):
Heck we we don't go.
Speaker 7 (01:18:16):
Let's go you know what?
Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
This is actually kind of big, but second date update
coming up here in just a little bit. Before you
invite somebody back to your place, you probably should clean
this up from your room. What was in his room
that is making her a little uncomfortable and not wanting
to go on a second date. The second date update
is coming up, and then a bunch of stuff for
(01:18:39):
tomorrow show. Make sure you're listening tomorrow morning to us
because we got war the Roses happening tomorrow morning. Busting
a Cheaterah right here on the Mojo on the Morning Show.
Listen at seven and nine o'clock for that. Tickets for
jingle Ball coming up this hour and before the end
of the show, your chance to go to game number
four of the al d S and the Tigers versus Seattle.
(01:19:04):
We got to get our bats going and we got
to have some good pitching. Who is it, Casey mys
I think is pitching for us today? Come on and
we get one. We can get a win, we get
Scooble back then tomorrow come on or not tomorrow, whatever
the whatever. Game five is so on a rally, all right,
it is Mojo in the Morning Show. This is very
(01:19:24):
tough for Shannon to bring up, but she's willing to
do so. Shannon, you guys are experiencing something pretty tough
at at the house right now.
Speaker 5 (01:19:35):
Yeah, we are putting down one of our dogs today.
And if you have ever had to do this, you
know that it is one of the most horrible things
that you ever have to go through.
Speaker 2 (01:19:47):
It is so sad.
Speaker 5 (01:19:50):
And the anticipation of knowing that this is taking place
today is.
Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Just about killing me, guys.
Speaker 5 (01:19:57):
But our Wes is dog, my dog, Willow, our frenchie.
We are having to very unexpectedly put her down this afternoon.
She has had something called IVDD, which if you have
a frenchie or a beagle, I think docsins have this too.
It's an issue that is very common in these dogs
(01:20:19):
that they have. It's a spinal cord issue and willowhead
surgery for this two two and a half years ago.
We were fortunate enough to be able to pay and
it is very very expensive for her to have the surgery,
knowing that the outcome might.
Speaker 2 (01:20:36):
Be successful and it might not be.
Speaker 5 (01:20:39):
And in her case, it was successful and it gave
us two and a half extra years with her. And
late on Sunday night we started to notice that there
were some signs of this happening all over again, and
she uh in literally a matter of hours, just declined
so quickly. She her lower extremities are totally paralyzed. She
(01:21:01):
can't go to the bathroom at all without Wes helping
her go to the bathroom. For lack of for giving
more detail, and so he and I give him so
much credit watching him walk through this and having to
make the tough decisions. But we are having hospice come
to the house today and we're going to say yah
goodbyes to her.
Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
How are the kids doing.
Speaker 5 (01:21:24):
Samantha, who is my sixteen year old stepdaughter, is just wrecked.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
She's not going to school today.
Speaker 5 (01:21:31):
She's staying home with her and Lous and Smith are
really super sad too. I mean, it's just so hard
to look at an animal that is suffering and know
that you have to say goodbye and there's nothing that
you can do. We took her to the vet on Monday,
(01:21:52):
and that's that's basically the answer.
Speaker 2 (01:21:55):
That we got. It's toss though. When you when you
lose a pet, it is all It's worse than losing
a human. I know it sounds weird to say this
because I've experienced loss of both my parents, but losing
I can only imagine the only other thing that would
be worse than losing your pets sometimes is in God forbid,
(01:22:17):
is losing a child. I just could not imagine that.
But losing a pet just changes the magnitude or the
dynamic of an entire family for pretty much. Ever.
Speaker 5 (01:22:28):
Yeah, and for us, she is the dog like she
is his soul dog, he says, because she got him
through so many rough patches off his life. So when
he looks at her, he's you know, last night got
just like watching him on the couch holding her and
he was just thanking her for everything that she has
done for him and Samantha and our family.
Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
And it's like a freakin gut punch. But wow, well,
our thoughts and prayers and you know, hoping that everybody
in the family is doing okay, and this is this
is a difficult time, Ashley. How you wanted to make
a comment, I did.
Speaker 49 (01:23:08):
I'm so sorry, Shannon, for you and Wes and for
the kids. It's not ever easy losing a pet. I
myself have put down three dogs in the last three years.
But at the end of the day, it's those memories
that you keep alive and you keep talking about them
and keep cherishing everything that they gave you in those moments.
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
Yeah, thank you for saying that. Three three dogs and
how many years three.
Speaker 49 (01:23:32):
Since twenty twenty two, we lost three dogs. So we've
originated and they were all siblings, originated with our dog Socks.
He unfortunately unexpectedly got cancer in the bladder so we
had to put him down in July of twenty twenty two,
and then we've rescued his two siblings and then within
those two years, because of their health, raisins and whatnot,
we ended up Liam let those.
Speaker 2 (01:23:53):
The other dogs, the health deteriorate when the other When
when you lost one of the dogs, because I've I've
always wondered with our dogs, like we've lost dogs over
the years. The dog that hurt the family the most
was Lily, because Lily was truly a human. You'd looked
in Lily's eyes and there was there was literally a
human being there, and that was so difficult for us.
(01:24:15):
And then we ended up getting a couple of dogs afterwards,
Henry and Louie. And I've always believed that if Henry
were to die, Louie's going right after because Louie will
be so depressed, you know where the vice versa. If
Louie dies, Henry's not even going to realize it, like he's.
Speaker 47 (01:24:32):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 45 (01:24:34):
And that's exactly what happened.
Speaker 49 (01:24:36):
Benji and Ruby, they were siblings, They've lived together their
entire lives. Benji went first and then Ruby was gone
within six months.
Speaker 2 (01:24:42):
How do you think the other dogs, Shannon, are going
to take this.
Speaker 5 (01:24:45):
Charlie, who was my sixteen year old, almost sixteen year
old toy poodle.
Speaker 2 (01:24:48):
He doesn't know what the heck's going on. Ever, he's
just old, God love him.
Speaker 5 (01:24:53):
I don't think he's going to be as affected as
bo our two year old Kavapoo because Bo and Willow
like they close.
Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
They are very very.
Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
Cloth and even last night he knew something was wrong
and he was just laying on the couch by her
and wouldn't wouldn't leave her.
Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
Chris, what's up?
Speaker 16 (01:25:09):
Good morning? How are you Shannon? I'm I'm so sorry
you have to go through this. Oh, but we had
to do it several years ago. Two dogs, but in
two weeks we had to put down and there's still
there's still part of the family.
Speaker 2 (01:25:23):
Yeah. Yeah, listen to the pain in your voice. Still
that's it's so so very sad.
Speaker 16 (01:25:27):
And this gold back prior to COVID. But I still
I still love your dogs.
Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
Yeah, very very very tough. I've never had to do
this before. Yeah, what's called have you heard of the
Rainbow Bridge? Have people talked about that with you? The
Rainbow Bridge is something that we learned when we lost Lily,
and uh, actually our our Marissa, who's our you know,
(01:25:53):
she's our pet mom or or the adoptive mom of
our pets always because she takes care of the dogs
whenever we need anybody to take care of him. But
she gave us something that was the Rainbow Bridge. And
I will tell you it's amazing when you read that,
you know and realize these animals, you know, you think
of them as just a dog. And I thought of
(01:26:16):
that before I lost Lily. Like I was like when
people would cry over the loss of an animal, I'm like, oh, okay,
everything will be okay. Days and weeks and months and
years later, You're going to always remember, you know what
Willow has brought to your family. Jen, what's going on?
Speaker 50 (01:26:32):
My Friendie, Punky Brewster, she just cast away a couple
of weeks ago and it was unexpected as well.
Speaker 43 (01:26:39):
She had a seizure.
Speaker 7 (01:26:40):
I tried to do.
Speaker 30 (01:26:41):
Everything I could to save her, but she died.
Speaker 50 (01:26:43):
And there's this place called Trusted Journey in Clarkston.
Speaker 48 (01:26:48):
They do pet cremation.
Speaker 16 (01:26:50):
Jamie.
Speaker 50 (01:26:51):
She's amazing and she helped me and my kids through
all of it. They did pop prints, they let us,
you know, spend time with her.
Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Yeah. Interesting.
Speaker 5 (01:27:03):
So these companies by the way that we like I said,
we have a company coming to the house today so
that she can you know, pass peacefully in her home.
I'm so grateful that there are there are companies and
vets that do this because it's just so when it's
so necessary, when you're going through something like this, and
you know it just hopefully it brings a little bit
(01:27:24):
of comfort to all of us.
Speaker 2 (01:27:26):
How has this been for you and your relationship with Wes.
Speaker 5 (01:27:32):
Hard But I like watching him walk through this and
explain this to the kids and care for her.
Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
I really am. It's just in awe of him. Yeah,
because that is one of those things where I will
tell you that it is so difficult on a family,
how difficult this is. But it is something that is
more you wonder sometimes why stuff like this happens and
why you know, you end up losing losing a person
(01:28:04):
or a pet. But it also it can bring a
family there together, you know what I mean, and help
a family out. So man our our our you know
thoughts for this. Uh for you guys, I cannot I
could not even see going through this, uh right now?
So this is brutal. This is really brutal. Yeah, and
(01:28:30):
you know what, I will say this for anybody that
is uh, have experienced this, send Shannon some advice on
what how you get through this. I still live with
Lily's ashes on my freaking bedroom bookstand. I'm like, are
we going to spread that? And Chelsea will not do
it because Lily meant that much to the family that
we have the freaking still Yeah, Like, can't we just
(01:28:54):
get rid of this?
Speaker 10 (01:28:54):
I don't think my family ever recovered from us losing
our family dogs. I was about ten or eleven, but
like my dad was so shaken from it. I don't
think I'll ever get a dog again, really, because.
Speaker 2 (01:29:07):
Sometimes that's my dad. That's why he will not get
a dog.
Speaker 5 (01:29:10):
He will watch my dog, but he will not get
his own dog because of this same Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
Because it's wild, because of we said we would never
get another dog, and then we ended up going to
get two. And I gotta be honest with you, I
felt like it did heal the family, like I really did,
Like it was one of those things. And then I've
often heard where people will say, if you know your dog,
is you know, suffering or not suffering, but possibly towards
(01:29:35):
the end of his life. If a younger, newer dog
sometimes will actually extend that life and maybe that that's
what happened.
Speaker 5 (01:29:42):
Well, that's what we did with Bo for Charlie. You guys,
I have so many dogs. If you're not following the names,
I totally understand. But it and that really is true. Yeah,
and we do think that that helped Willow heal. And
like I said, we got two and a half years
that we extra that we did not expect with her
following her first surgery.
Speaker 2 (01:30:01):
It's it's interesting. It's interesting you say. Now it's the dog,
the youngest dog, the baby, pain and the booty, but
it's like one of the most comforting Willow right now,
you said, all right, Mojo in the Morning show phone
numbers eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six
six five six five four eight Texas ninety five five
zero zero. We're going to do the second date update
(01:30:22):
coming up here in just a little bit. Why are
you looking like that? What was that looking at your face?
You have like a you always have like a spitt
eating grant on your ship. I was thinking about the
dogs I had. Did you like your dogs?
Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
I did.
Speaker 6 (01:30:33):
I mean one of them ran away, the other one
was a whole, So we gave them. Let's talk more
about this, all right, we have comforting for your dogs.
Speaker 7 (01:30:43):
I'm telling you. Her name was Sheba.
Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
Sheba left, came back, joint was bleeding, it was six
dogs behind it.
Speaker 22 (01:30:51):
It just got the thrash air. My mama was like, no,
give it, I.
Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
Need to.
Speaker 22 (01:31:08):
I'm sitting over here. That's all I can think about
his own time.
Speaker 7 (01:31:13):
How old I was like twelve?
Speaker 22 (01:31:17):
Yeah? Bro?
Speaker 7 (01:31:18):
My mom was like, you know, six a whole back.
I was like, she's gotta go.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
Do we know where Sheba met the six in the neighborhood?
Speaker 7 (01:31:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
Did Sheba live a long life where? I don't know?
We gave her? You got rid of like that day?
My mom was like, no, We're not doing this my god.
By the way, can I get a replay Bianca of
me just spitting water just out of my mouth just
a second ago from taking a drink of water on
that one I got. I actually have a headache right
(01:31:55):
now from laughing so much as what Kevin just said.
Uh all right, Uh, let me move on to another topic.
Let's get away from sadness of losing a dog and
the dog the hole dog that Kevin was talking about.
All right, Mojo in the morning show, phone number eight
four to for Joe Live A four four six six four
(01:32:16):
eight text nine five five zero zero. So I have
to ask you guys this question about people. See if
anybody can relate to this is there And I call
this drunk accent syndrome. Okay, drunk accent syndrome. If you
(01:32:36):
are out with somebody or maybe you're that somebody in
your drinking. Have you ever noticed that people automatically when
they start drinking and getting a little bit too much
alcohol in them, they suddenly start talking or acting differently.
And the big one I want to focus on is
people that end up getting an accent when they're drunk.
(01:33:00):
This actually happened over the weekend when we went out
with a group of people and there was one particular
guy that and I'm not going to say his name
because I don't want to call him out for this,
but every time that he gets drunk, he all of
a sudden goes from a guy from Michigan to a
guy that should be like in freaking Alabama. Like he
(01:33:24):
he goes from sounding like me to sounding like THEO
Vaughn when he's drinking. And I want to know if
there are any listeners that have ever experienced this themselves
or with somebody else where. They when they drink too
much or they have a little bit of alcohol, they
all of a sudden start talking a little differently. And
(01:33:45):
I know that I do. Like when I'm drunk, I go, hey,
that was going on, Like it becomes kind of like,
all of a sudden, I turn into R and B Mojo,
you know what I mean, Getswood.
Speaker 7 (01:33:58):
Oh yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (01:33:59):
Know what I mean, Like one of those type of
situations where I'm like changing exactly the way. Oh yeah, daddy,
not that deep, but I all of a sudden, like
you know, it turns into like a Mojo to Gerald
Leverte or.
Speaker 7 (01:34:13):
Something something like that.
Speaker 6 (01:34:15):
See, I don't know if mine happens when I'm drinking.
I know for a fact, if I go to the movies,
when I lead the movies, I'll start acting like the
main character, like I absorb like that type of personality.
But I feel like when I'm drinking, I feel like
I turn into It happened one time I was.
Speaker 2 (01:34:30):
In New York.
Speaker 6 (01:34:31):
Yeah, that's the only time I can remember it happening
where I like, all of a sudden, I start talking
like I was from New York.
Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
And I honestly think with this particular guy with Kevin, Kevin,
when he drinks, like I sense that he doesn't necessarily
have a michiganed or accent, you know what I mean,
Like he doesn't say Fords and things like that, he
doesn't talk like that, but all of a sudden he
drinks a little bit and it's like, Hey, what's going on, Tom.
Speaker 7 (01:34:57):
Like he's like, all of a sudden, it's like or
something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:35:02):
Is it certain alcohol?
Speaker 6 (01:35:03):
Because certain alcohols bring out different persons.
Speaker 2 (01:35:05):
Anything, beer, booze, whatever it is. It can be anything. Yeah,
I mean, what's yours?
Speaker 7 (01:35:12):
Any D is a real thing? Really?
Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
Henny D? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:35:15):
Well that's difference, That's yeah, That's what I mean. I
feel like some people can't. Some people don't drink dark
liquor because it makes them angry. Some people think the
lighter drinker that they have, the more party party vibe
they start to feel.
Speaker 29 (01:35:27):
Well.
Speaker 2 (01:35:27):
Some people just stay away.
Speaker 7 (01:35:30):
No, I think that people.
Speaker 2 (01:35:31):
But I think definitely the stronger the alcohol probably the
more they're aggressiveness changes. But I don't necessary. This is
that's off topic. I'm talking about people's accents changing. I
want to focus on the accents live do hey, Seana,
what's happening? How you doing? I'm not drinking right now,
but oh my gosh, wait a second. You get a
(01:35:52):
Spanish accent when you drink.
Speaker 23 (01:35:55):
I grew up in West Florida, so when I get drunk,
my Spanish is on.
Speaker 2 (01:36:00):
Do you actually speak Spanish or just with an accent?
Speaker 21 (01:36:03):
No?
Speaker 44 (01:36:03):
I can really speak Spanish, Like I mean, I could
speak some Spanish, but like, my Spanish is way better
when I'm drunk.
Speaker 23 (01:36:09):
Everyone says this really.
Speaker 2 (01:36:14):
Really, So what are you drinking? Are you drinking tequila?
Just to keep the whole mood together? Wow, that is
kind of funny. All of a sudden, you go south
of the border once you have a little beverages Sydney.
What's going on? Is mojo in the morning? How you doing?
Speaker 48 (01:36:30):
Oh?
Speaker 45 (01:36:30):
Well, how are you guys today?
Speaker 11 (01:36:31):
Good?
Speaker 2 (01:36:32):
We're talking about drunk accent syndrome.
Speaker 45 (01:36:35):
Okay, so my man, mind you.
Speaker 50 (01:36:38):
We're from the Bloomfield, Birmingham area.
Speaker 23 (01:36:40):
Okay, when he gets drunk.
Speaker 50 (01:36:42):
He starts talking and acting like Tucac. He'll do the
hand man.
Speaker 6 (01:36:46):
Mannerism really not just he becomes a whole person.
Speaker 9 (01:36:57):
No, literally literally purns in so like he was Tupac
for a Halloween a few years ago, and he looked
just like him.
Speaker 45 (01:37:05):
I should send in up it shirts.
Speaker 1 (01:37:06):
Oh my god?
Speaker 7 (01:37:07):
What can I ask a question?
Speaker 25 (01:37:08):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:37:09):
What what race are you? Guys? What are you guys?
Speaker 50 (01:37:12):
I'm white, but he's black and Italian?
Speaker 2 (01:37:14):
Okay, so he's black Italian and he turns into Tupac
when he has a little bit too much.
Speaker 1 (01:37:20):
Ye, I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:22):
You got to send us his Halloween costume. I want
to see what it looks like. Hold On is saying,
is this audio? I'm with us right now?
Speaker 7 (01:37:28):
A d io?
Speaker 2 (01:37:29):
Well yeah, what up? Audio?
Speaker 7 (01:37:31):
Audio?
Speaker 2 (01:37:32):
What's going on? We're talking about when you drink, you
all of a sudden get an accent.
Speaker 5 (01:37:37):
Man.
Speaker 30 (01:37:37):
I have a friend that when they get drunk, they
have a sick Jamaican accent.
Speaker 2 (01:37:43):
Pato.
Speaker 7 (01:37:44):
I love that.
Speaker 20 (01:37:45):
Yeah, he's just drinking, like what, I love it.
Speaker 2 (01:37:53):
I think that's great. Does it? By the way, the
ladies love it too. They probably go crazy when that happens.
Speaker 48 (01:37:58):
Hey, man, if he hit yo, mama, so pretty gad
She's doing.
Speaker 2 (01:38:03):
Good enough there fall for it. That's awesome. All right,
we'll shout out to our Jamaican friend. What's going on, Stephanie,
I like this one. This is a different accent. What
did your friend get?
Speaker 46 (01:38:12):
Yeah, every time we go out and drink, she gets
a British accent.
Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
Like Britney spears. Really she'll be.
Speaker 29 (01:38:20):
Like, oh, darling, I'm not good at it.
Speaker 43 (01:38:25):
I don't do a British accent. But she is so
funny and I love it.
Speaker 44 (01:38:29):
I love it.
Speaker 7 (01:38:30):
That is so great. That's Stephanie.
Speaker 2 (01:38:31):
I love it. By the way, we got to get
Stephanie's friend and Audio's friend and have the brit and
the Jamaican hanging out with you.
Speaker 5 (01:38:38):
Remember we had an intern on this show who dated
a guy that when she met him, had an Australian accent.
Speaker 2 (01:38:44):
Yes, but and he never had the accent. But I
think he was.
Speaker 5 (01:38:49):
Well he was because they met out and then he
has like he kept it up for a little while
and then finally had to come clean that he did
not have an Australian accent for real.
Speaker 7 (01:39:00):
Be like attractive.
Speaker 2 (01:39:01):
So he yeah, sure, Jeanette, Hi, what happens to your
dad when he drinks?
Speaker 33 (01:39:07):
Okay, so my dad's Mexican. Right, he's born in Mexico,
but when he drinks, he speaks English. And the funny
part is is when he goes to Mexico, he forgets right,
and so he's trying to speak English in Mexico and
they're like, we don't know what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (01:39:23):
By the way, that is the fantastic that the guy
loses his Spanish accent when he goes in and drinks.
Speaker 33 (01:39:30):
Yeah, he loses his accent and he speaks English.
Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
Shout out to Jin, Shout out to Jeanette's dad, what's
going on, Lindsay, Hi, Hi, what's up?
Speaker 46 (01:39:41):
So when I'm drinking, my black scenting comes out?
Speaker 7 (01:39:46):
Let me hear it?
Speaker 33 (01:39:48):
So because I mixed.
Speaker 43 (01:39:50):
My dad is black, but he talks very proper.
Speaker 33 (01:39:53):
But I will start getting so God will get ghetto
real quick.
Speaker 43 (01:39:57):
My friends told me all the times, calmed down, you're
getting ghetto.
Speaker 2 (01:40:00):
And it only happens when you're drinking. That's it. What
are you drinking?
Speaker 32 (01:40:06):
By the way, Tequila all day?
Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
Oh okay, I love By the way, my favorite is
my favorite is that she used the term black scent.
Speaker 5 (01:40:20):
Yeah, Elizabeth, you there, I am, good morning, Good.
Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
Morning to you. I love it, Elizabeth. When you get drunk,
what do you turn into?
Speaker 35 (01:40:30):
Me and my best friend have a reputation of turning
into Russian assassin and.
Speaker 30 (01:40:39):
I don't know how we do it.
Speaker 33 (01:40:40):
We get these Russian accents and our men are scared
of us.
Speaker 7 (01:40:45):
You got to give us a taste.
Speaker 23 (01:40:49):
I can try my best. We are going to kill you.
Speaker 2 (01:40:57):
I get turned out women with a Russian accent, Oh
my gosh, oh for summer. Yeah, you gotta get drunk,
hurt women with a Russian accent, or women with a
like a Spanish accent.
Speaker 6 (01:41:10):
So you give me a lot of Sophia, yes, or
Drago's wife.
Speaker 2 (01:41:20):
You know you want a little Slavena. I love it,
all right, Elizabeth, thank you for the call. I appreciate it.
Speaker 11 (01:41:27):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (01:41:28):
Have a good day.
Speaker 2 (01:41:28):
Take care all right, Mojoe. In the morning, I cannot
stop thinking about Kev's o dog. She was a mixed
She was a I think she was German shepherd or waller.
Well you name her Sheba, you know, I know, but
I'm saying she was born to be a hoe. If
she's named she.
Speaker 7 (01:41:46):
Why do you say that?
Speaker 2 (01:41:47):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:41:47):
I just think Sheba could be you know, We had
another one black lamb. His name was Sting Soldier go
Berg Garden. He was black and white. Yeah, I remember
Steing the wrestler. Yes, he had the white. Used to
wear all blacks. I think that's where it came from. Soldier.
Speaker 2 (01:42:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:42:03):
Goldberg was my other favorite restaurant the time. How do
you take that entire name on a collar on a dog?
Speaker 2 (01:42:13):
Did you get in trouble by the the animal control
for not having a collar on your dog?
Speaker 6 (01:42:18):
No, everybody will have collars on their dog with little,
cute little names. He had a blue leash that we
got from Humane Society. Leashed him up, let him run
around in the backyard.
Speaker 2 (01:42:26):
He was good. I'm calling animal control anything Soldier Goldberg
or I used to love that dog. Hold on a second,
Hold on real quick, Mike there, Mike, last call on
this one. In the accents? What's going on? Yeah?
Speaker 29 (01:42:39):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (01:42:40):
Hi?
Speaker 14 (01:42:41):
When my wife gets drunk, she gets a Boston Bronx
accent going yeah, And on special occasions she gets a
real Asian sound.
Speaker 5 (01:42:52):
Where does this come from? Is it random? Or is
that where she's from?
Speaker 2 (01:42:56):
Random?
Speaker 14 (01:42:56):
She's not She's been in the New York once or
she was an elementary school for like a class trip.
Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
Never been back.
Speaker 14 (01:43:02):
I have no idea where it comes from.
Speaker 2 (01:43:04):
Yeah, do you get turned on?
Speaker 7 (01:43:07):
Does it turn you on?
Speaker 2 (01:43:08):
Like the either of the Bronx Boston.
Speaker 14 (01:43:10):
Not when it's not directed at me. If she's mad
beyond I mean, and gets the Bronx thing going.
Speaker 6 (01:43:15):
That's uh, which one sounds you want more though, the
Asian or the other ones?
Speaker 14 (01:43:21):
The Bronx. The Asian one just seems kind of weird.
Speaker 1 (01:43:27):
It seems to fourth.
Speaker 2 (01:43:28):
Yeah, all right, we got to go out and party
with all these people. It's in the morning show, just the.
Speaker 4 (01:43:35):
Second date up day module in the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:43:37):
We're gonna find out why you're not getting a call back.
Aj thought things went great, especially because she ended up
staying with him at his house. She slept over. And
did you guys fool around? Aj? Aj Hi? There you
are a j Did you guys? Did you guys mess around?
Speaker 21 (01:44:00):
Oh yeah, we totally honked up.
Speaker 2 (01:44:02):
Okay and that was it. Nothing afterwards, like you, did
you guys make plans to go on another date with
each other?
Speaker 26 (01:44:11):
Uh?
Speaker 35 (01:44:11):
No?
Speaker 21 (01:44:12):
But I texted her I wanted to and uh no response.
Speaker 2 (01:44:16):
Okay, we're gonna find out what's going on. Brinn is
on the phone with us right now. Second date update, Brin, Hi,
good morning, Hello? How are you? Aj? Say hi to Brin, Hey.
Speaker 21 (01:44:30):
How you doing?
Speaker 16 (01:44:34):
Huh?
Speaker 20 (01:44:35):
I'm good?
Speaker 37 (01:44:36):
How are you.
Speaker 16 (01:44:38):
Well?
Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
I'm like, Brand?
Speaker 21 (01:44:41):
What?
Speaker 7 (01:44:41):
Brand?
Speaker 2 (01:44:42):
What's up? Did you have a good time?
Speaker 5 (01:44:46):
Initially?
Speaker 20 (01:44:47):
Yeah, I had a good time. Yeah it was fine.
Speaker 2 (01:44:51):
So obviously the date was you guys went out and
then you went back and hung out with Aj at
his house. What was the part of the date that
turned and where did you get to a point where
you decided that you weren't necessarily into Aj?
Speaker 51 (01:45:12):
I mean, he just he has like it's like a
bunch of stuffed animals, like in his bedroom and like
in his bed.
Speaker 2 (01:45:23):
So it was kind of kind of cringe, wait to say,
hold on saying he has stuffed animals in his bedroom
and in his bed. How old are you?
Speaker 24 (01:45:31):
A J?
Speaker 7 (01:45:32):
Don't do that.
Speaker 11 (01:45:35):
Priceless?
Speaker 2 (01:45:36):
You're twenty six years old?
Speaker 7 (01:45:38):
Are they on shelves?
Speaker 24 (01:45:39):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:45:39):
Is it more like a collectible thing?
Speaker 51 (01:45:45):
It didn't seem that way to me.
Speaker 7 (01:45:48):
What do you got?
Speaker 47 (01:45:49):
You got a couple of stuffed got a couple of
stuffed animals on my bed. I got like some white
sabers like on the wall. I got a hot wheels
collection and I got a couple of me thanks.
Speaker 2 (01:46:01):
So do you live by yourself a j or do
you live with your family or where do you what's
your living arrangements?
Speaker 21 (01:46:11):
I got some housemates, the roommates like, so.
Speaker 2 (01:46:14):
This is all stuff that it's not like this is
your childhood bedroom and you had this in your room.
You you actually have this stuff in your room as
a twenty six year old guy.
Speaker 21 (01:46:27):
Yeah, I mean I like it, but it's my stuff
that that was a kid, you know.
Speaker 23 (01:46:33):
M Yeah, that's like really weird.
Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
It was.
Speaker 5 (01:46:37):
It was most of it's from when you were a kid.
Are you still buying like some of the lightsabers and.
Speaker 21 (01:46:44):
Uh a lightsaber a lightsaber a couple of years ago.
Speaker 7 (01:46:48):
But that's it.
Speaker 21 (01:46:48):
Everything else is okay.
Speaker 10 (01:46:50):
Let that man could Yeah, I don't think this is weird.
Kevin came over the other day and I had a wando,
Like I just think people have Harry Potter wand yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:46:59):
Really, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (01:47:01):
I think it's one thing to have like a wand
that's fine. I'm a Harry Potter fan too, but like
to have a bunch of life light light life saber
or whatever they're called.
Speaker 1 (01:47:12):
Some Star Wars, a.
Speaker 51 (01:47:14):
Bunch of stuffed animals.
Speaker 23 (01:47:15):
It's just like weird, Like you're an adult.
Speaker 32 (01:47:17):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:47:18):
To be honest, I found it weird.
Speaker 2 (01:47:19):
I find this to be weird too, And I think
it's weird my son, you know, Joe is a big
Star Wars guy. And if you go to his apartment
and I don't know how Alyssa deals with this, his
fiance deals with this stuff. But he has like lightsabers,
and he's got like a Darth Vader mask and all
this stuff that's around.
Speaker 7 (01:47:39):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (01:47:40):
But the stuffed animal part is the part that kind
of weirds me a little bit. Like you have stuffed animals.
I mean, I get if you still have your stuffed
animal for when you're a kid, but maybe that's on
a shelf or something like that. What about the hot
I think it's for me. It's just all.
Speaker 5 (01:47:54):
Of the things together, that's the wheels, the stuffies, the light.
I don't know, I think I'd probably be thinking a
certain way.
Speaker 6 (01:48:04):
The thing that I respect, though, is like these are
things that make him who he is. These are things
that speak to his interest, his personality and these are
things that make him feel like himself. Watch what do
you have in yours?
Speaker 9 (01:48:20):
He didn't, and so that's why I'm not calling him back.
Speaker 6 (01:48:24):
I got a buddy stuff that's not in my bedroom though,
that's the only part I'm kind of like. But if
he lives with more people than he doesn't have an
area where he can put his stuff on display.
Speaker 2 (01:48:32):
Kevin, what do you have?
Speaker 16 (01:48:33):
Though?
Speaker 2 (01:48:33):
I want to know what you have?
Speaker 6 (01:48:35):
I have one plushy. It's it's from a guy who's
in Chicago named Relo. It's Ozzy, which is the original
makeup of Mickey Mouse. A lot of people don't know.
Mickey Mouse is the second version. Ozzy is the first.
Speaker 7 (01:48:45):
I have that.
Speaker 6 (01:48:46):
I got a few funk O pops I got. I
got a bunch of stuff. I got art, I got posters,
I got a bunch of stuff. Okay, all right, any girls,
that's weird that.
Speaker 5 (01:48:57):
Girl, but I think it's okay for her to So
I'm just like this hobby. I don't this is like
not my thing, just as I would if you know,
I walked into somebody's house and they were hunters and
had a bunch of heads tax me like I'd.
Speaker 2 (01:49:15):
Walk in and go, Okay, this is cool for you
to do, It's not my thing. What would you rather
a bunch of deer heads around or a guy with
the stuffed animals? Honestly the stuffed animals?
Speaker 1 (01:49:25):
Really?
Speaker 2 (01:49:26):
Yeah, the hunting gets me.
Speaker 7 (01:49:29):
What's up, Michelle High?
Speaker 1 (01:49:31):
Hi, good morning morning.
Speaker 44 (01:49:33):
I think I think he's just a nerd.
Speaker 13 (01:49:35):
And if that's not what she's into, then all she
got to say is, you know, I'm not nerdy like that,
and on to the next one. You know who cares
nerds are nerds? I mean I'm a nerd, So I
get it. Like, let the man love what he loves
and someone will love him for that.
Speaker 2 (01:49:50):
Amen. Hey, real quick, though, Brian, did you have to
move the stuffed animals or did he have to move
the stuffed animals in order to get on the bed
with him?
Speaker 16 (01:49:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (01:49:59):
Like they they're like some of them are in front
of his pillow, like they had places.
Speaker 34 (01:50:05):
It was as if he like toughed them in properly.
Speaker 2 (01:50:08):
I could kind of move them off your side so
they don't get in the way. What's up by you doing? Aaron?
Speaker 34 (01:50:14):
Hey, how are you doing?
Speaker 2 (01:50:15):
Okay, Brent's got a problem with AJ's toys. What's up.
Speaker 41 (01:50:20):
I feel like if it's like publicly displayed where like
company can see it and things like that, it gets
a bit cringey. I feel like there should be like
a dedicated room, just like with the taxidermy and things
like that. My stepfather does that, and he has like
a special room towards like, Hey, if you're interested, I
can show you.
Speaker 2 (01:50:41):
The room with the dead animals would be were but honestly,
maybe put them in an a counter or put him
on in a drawer or I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:50:49):
I'm not hiding who I am.
Speaker 2 (01:50:52):
What's up, Josh? What's going on?
Speaker 23 (01:50:54):
Josh?
Speaker 2 (01:50:57):
It's going okay? What are your thoughts on this one?
What do you think of Brent not wanting to go
on another date with aj?
Speaker 48 (01:51:04):
I mean, uh, you know, I don't think it's any
It's any different than a woman having, you know, fifty
pairs of the shoes in her closet are all over
really a thousand bottles of perfume, you know. I mean, like,
I'm forty years old, I collect hot wheel stars.
Speaker 29 (01:51:20):
With my eight year old.
Speaker 2 (01:51:21):
I do get what he's saying. I mean, I think
I think the equivalent would be, you know, guys having
a bunch of I don't know, like like, I don't know,
would you would you feel weird if if you walked
into a guy's room and he had like Steve Eiserman
posters all over his wall or had.
Speaker 5 (01:51:38):
Like as a yes, like yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:51:42):
What about skateboard dicks? Like that is skateboard like the
actual thing that's like a design thing. I think that's cool. Okay,
what about uh? What about the stuffed animals? Is the
weirdest one? What if the guy had a a live
(01:52:02):
like doll in his room, like a live doll, like
you know, like one of those one of those dollar
dolls like sex dolls. I would I would run. That
would be rare. That would not be for me. You'd
rather have him have like Teddy bears and stuff like actually, yeah, really, Christina,
what do you think about this?
Speaker 1 (01:52:19):
I don't even know that is Chris.
Speaker 2 (01:52:22):
What's up, Christina?
Speaker 37 (01:52:24):
Hey, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 35 (01:52:28):
So my fiance she has a snuggie and the first
time she came to Michigan because she's from Ohio to
stay with me when we were first dating, she brought
it out.
Speaker 34 (01:52:41):
Of her book bag and I was like, what's that?
Speaker 1 (01:52:44):
And it is a raggedy blanket.
Speaker 20 (01:52:47):
Yeah, and she.
Speaker 37 (01:52:48):
Will not go anywhere without it. She took it on
our trip.
Speaker 20 (01:52:53):
She took it to Vegas.
Speaker 37 (01:52:55):
If we forget it, if we're visiting her family, we
have to turn around and go get it.
Speaker 2 (01:53:00):
That's interesting. That's a totally different story. That's like the
kid's blanky that he loses, you know.
Speaker 37 (01:53:05):
So yes, And what's crazy is her two brothers, who
are in their mid twenties, same exact situation. Yeah, they
won't go anywhere without it. If a girlfriend has a
problem with it, they're like, sorry about it.
Speaker 1 (01:53:16):
This is me.
Speaker 35 (01:53:17):
This is my snuggie. You can't take it from me.
Speaker 2 (01:53:19):
Wow, they're the Snuggy family. To each his own right.
Everybody's got their own thing. I'm not gonna yuck somebody's
youm or something.
Speaker 1 (01:53:28):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:53:28):
I think you know that phrase. You've been saying saying
it a lot. Yes, listen, I gotta be you're using
it right.
Speaker 2 (01:53:34):
I'm a little yucked with the yums of the the
idea of the guy with stuffed animals. I think the
stuffed animals is a little too much. But Kevin, what's
going on? Listener?
Speaker 1 (01:53:41):
Kevin, hi, Hey, first time long time.
Speaker 7 (01:53:44):
Hiy, Kevin's on the phone.
Speaker 2 (01:53:46):
Finally found something for you to call in for? What's
going on?
Speaker 30 (01:53:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:53:49):
Literally?
Speaker 35 (01:53:50):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (01:53:51):
So I'm twenty nine and I have.
Speaker 44 (01:53:53):
Thousands of dollars worth of like collectible plushies.
Speaker 1 (01:53:56):
Gun dums, anime.
Speaker 44 (01:53:58):
Collectible coasters, you pokemon, you gil whatever it is?
Speaker 28 (01:54:02):
All right, I have.
Speaker 44 (01:54:04):
So many hot women asking me about my stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:54:08):
Really, it's crazy.
Speaker 44 (01:54:09):
Really, dude, you'll understand how many people are actually into this.
Speaker 2 (01:54:13):
You get laid because of your plushies.
Speaker 29 (01:54:16):
Because of everything, dude, I'm serious.
Speaker 7 (01:54:19):
It's a tall interesting.
Speaker 29 (01:54:21):
Just because the dude has it on his bed doesn't
mean anything.
Speaker 2 (01:54:25):
Okay, she's still smashed. So so you're saying that AJ
should use this to get girls because it's worked for you, Kevin,
did I lose you? Kevin right now is buried underneath
his plushies and he cannot talk anymore.
Speaker 34 (01:54:40):
I just feel like that's a special case.
Speaker 2 (01:54:44):
Yeah, bring your not in. Okay, Wait where did you go?
Speaker 1 (01:54:47):
Did you have to understand it?
Speaker 2 (01:54:48):
Do you have to grab another call while we were
talking or what was the story there?
Speaker 29 (01:54:52):
No, I'm I'm driving to work.
Speaker 2 (01:54:54):
Okay. All right, So Kevin says, AJ, you stay strong.
This will get you girl as it works for him.
Do you guys go to They're So Cool? Do you
go to any anime? Or where do you comic cons?
Speaker 29 (01:55:10):
I go to a lot of Yeah, I go to
comic cons. I go to a lot of collectible expos
and everything like that.
Speaker 19 (01:55:17):
Oh, it's just admitting the part.
Speaker 29 (01:55:21):
Of your child, your child when you're an adult.
Speaker 2 (01:55:25):
Don't shame him for his interest. All right, don't we
actually don't? We all want to go over to Kevin's
house and hang out with his bro his skateboards and
his Plushes.
Speaker 6 (01:55:36):
Skateboard, Al Green skateboard and Marvin Gaye skateboard. All right, Kevin, Kevin,
You're invited to Kevin's house. We're all going.
Speaker 24 (01:55:43):
This is the home of the Dirty on the thirty
second Date update and more than Roses.
Speaker 4 (01:55:49):
This is Mojo in.
Speaker 2 (01:55:50):
The Morning, all right? For giving away jingle ball tickets
eight four four, Mojo Live, Tiger.
Speaker 6 (01:55:57):
Woods driver hanging on your You got the all kind
of stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:56:02):
You're right, I guess that's it, right, I got. I'm
more of a sports guy, like I'm more of you know.
Speaker 7 (01:56:09):
Yeah, but he won't wear jerseys. But he won't wear
jerseys eight.
Speaker 2 (01:56:16):
I've got Tom Brady, Tom Brady autograph, Jersey Fire, Miguel
Cabrera autograph, Jersey, Barry Sanders autograph, Jersey Quid Fire, Okay,
Tiger Woods autograph, Golf Club Talk, and a Kevin autographed plushy.
Speaker 7 (01:56:33):
You're most prized up on my wall.
Speaker 11 (01:56:37):
Or the mornings Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:56:39):
Yuck and yums, har Shannon yum and yucks. Show what's
going on with? By the way, this is all this
laughter that we've had in the last twenty minutes. Help
you honestly? Yes? Good? I like that, honestly, yes, yeah,
what's going on?
Speaker 11 (01:56:54):
So?
Speaker 2 (01:56:54):
I want to catch you up on this story in case.
Speaker 5 (01:56:56):
You are not in the know. Here Country singers Act
Brian hosted. This was a couple of days ago, part
of an unreleased song and the song I don't even
know what the heck the song is called I forget
something about Red White, Blue, But the song has the
line in it, ice is gonna come bust down your door.
Speaker 2 (01:57:14):
Here's a piece of it, and.
Speaker 7 (01:57:15):
How its gonna come BOOSTWNI and door. Here you go
trying to build a house? Build no modes.
Speaker 2 (01:57:21):
Called fading, Red, white and blue.
Speaker 7 (01:57:24):
Kids are all skinning all.
Speaker 2 (01:57:26):
Only gave us a little snippet stop bumping.
Speaker 5 (01:57:29):
The Rockment of Homeland Security is now firing back over this,
saying just stick to your songs like pink skies. The
White House also weighing in here via spokesperson accusing Zach
of condemning heroic ice officers quote unquote. Conservative country music
(01:57:50):
fans also joining in, accusing Zach of portraying conservative American values.
Now for what it's worth, he wrote on social media,
I served this country. It was in the Navy for
eight years. I love this country. And he says the
song hits on both sides of the aisle, so he
is very much defending it and specifically that line.
Speaker 2 (01:58:09):
Well, and the other thing too is people need to
just stop assuming what somebody's beliefs are political beliefs or
religious beliefs whatever. Based on the fact that he's a
country singer, theys automatically assume you know what I mean,
and I and I think that there's a lot of
people that have different opinions on what's going on in
(01:58:29):
the world, You know what I mean? And I think
that if he puts together a song, he puts together
a song, there's no different than him putting together a
song or somebody actually, you know, making comments. I just
think that where it gets a little weird as people
just going, oh my god, the white country guy doesn't
like Donald Trump's you know, beliefs or whatever is going on.
(01:58:50):
It's like, I don't know, I think I think that's
that's almost a little bit racist, to be honest. Okay, right,
And I don't approove of this Mojo in the morning, miss.
Speaker 7 (01:59:00):
He's not a shin of dark. But get what you say.
Speaker 5 (01:59:02):
Yeah, Lebron James is facing a little bit of backlash
this morning for that announcement, the second decision.
Speaker 2 (01:59:09):
Everybody was wondering is he retiring?
Speaker 5 (01:59:12):
Is he not? What is it all about? Well, I
can tell you what it was all about. Spoiler alert nothing, Hennessy.
Speaker 27 (01:59:18):
I feel like it's gonna give me the best opportunity
to win more at hosting. Not only that when that
signature cocktails when I have a good time, when at
a pressing guests, when.
Speaker 2 (01:59:28):
At making memories, we end at making it look easy,
when at leaving people wanting more. You gotta be careful
though when you do that, because now you just made
any more real announcement that he is Yeah thought it
was a boy, did you. But yeah, you thought that
exact thing. Yeah, exact thing. You actually made a comment yesterday.
Speaker 6 (01:59:47):
You thought it was going to be something Amazon Amazon,
because he did something like this before. It was kind
of the same thing, big press conference, A he's a
large announcement and it was just prime deals on Amazon
Prime Dad.
Speaker 5 (01:59:58):
Yeah, he saw because of course I had to read
the comments. I think you're right by the way. I
think it is the boy who cried, well, if that's
going to buck me and google that. But one of
the there was like a dad who commented on the
video and was like, my son is going to be
so disappointed that this is just an ad for something
that he's way too young to buy. It just had
nothing to do with anything that he could, you know,
(02:00:19):
enjoy J Loo talking about Bad Bunny being selected as
the super Bowl halftime so performer.
Speaker 2 (02:00:26):
Is she happy about it?
Speaker 31 (02:00:28):
Him and J Balvin did the Super Bowl with us
that year, so he has a boy he actually has
a leg up because if he knows a bit so
terrifying if you've never done it, it really is. It's
the biggest stage in the world. You know, people really
who don't know you get to know you and you
have to show everybody who you are in like fifteen minutes, yeah,
or less like me and shigere A split. So it
(02:00:49):
was like seven and a half minutes EASi molto.
Speaker 7 (02:00:51):
They're setting up the stage and.
Speaker 31 (02:00:52):
So he has that time and they're setting up the
stage and it's nerve wrecked.
Speaker 2 (02:00:57):
It's crazy.
Speaker 31 (02:00:57):
He's done it, he's been there, he's been in the rooms,
he's felt it.
Speaker 2 (02:01:01):
So I think he's gonna crush. Everybody's saying that, Well,
they're gonna put a lot into it too, you know that.
I mean, they're gonna make sure that this thing is
as good as what Kendricks was last year, right with
all the promotion and all the hype that they've got that.
I loved kendricks performance last year. I know a lot
of people didn't. Somebody was saying that the NFL just
(02:01:23):
thrives off of this like they thrived off of last year,
where people are like controversy. Well, last year, people did
not like Kendrick because they all said, wait a second,
the audiences, you know, families and all, you know, his
music and all the rest, And it turned out that
literally his music was way more even popular than he
already was after the Super Bowl was over with. I mean,
(02:01:43):
we're still playing not like us as like it's a
power record. On this radio show, I think that we're
going to start hearing, but you're gonna hear bad Bunny
on w N. I see that Jaye Towers is going
to be going, I'm Jade Towers. Here's bad Bunny. Watch.
Speaker 5 (02:02:02):
Lastly, Hilaria Baldwin eliminated from Dancing with the Stars this
week ending her run on the show.
Speaker 2 (02:02:09):
A lot of fans loved.
Speaker 5 (02:02:10):
Her, seriously loved her and loved her being on the show,
but she got high praise from the judges. Bruno Toni
only even said he couldn't find anything wrong with her
dance on Disney Night, but viewer votes not enough to
keep her in the competition. She speak with the fake
accent every once in a while, she does Hilaria Baldwin.
Speaker 2 (02:02:28):
This is Alec Baldwin's wife. She's her real name is Hillary.
You know that? Do you know that she's from Boston.
She's Hillary from Boston, and she has a fake accent.
And it's not just when she's drunk. I'm going to
tell you what I'm going to say you're not going
to ask me questions. I'm going to tell you, okay.
Speaker 52 (02:02:47):
I want you guys to realize that we have seven
kids and you being here to escort them to school
and to be there when they come home is not good.
So on a human you guys know, I'm not going
to say anything to you.
Speaker 7 (02:03:03):
How funny is your last time? Please?
Speaker 52 (02:03:06):
Yes, leave, he's got drunk and let this all play out.
Speaker 2 (02:03:10):
Okay, so let my kids come home. Does she talk
on the show like when she's talking to LeAnn or
whoever the judges are Bianca? Does she talk with an
accent when she's on the show.
Speaker 12 (02:03:22):
No, this was the first tie I've ever heard this.
Speaker 2 (02:03:24):
Really, so she's actually back to just Hillary.
Speaker 5 (02:03:26):
She's done interviews about dancing with the Stars, and it'll
come out every once in a while. I'll have to
pull some of them for you.
Speaker 2 (02:03:33):
I wish I had like an accent, I really do.
My dad was Cuban, and I wish my dad spoke
Spanish in the house and stuff. Do you know how
great that would have been for me? Literally the whitest guy.
Speaker 5 (02:03:43):
Grandma and all my great aunts and uncles spoke Italian
and the same. I wish I understand or.
Speaker 2 (02:03:52):
I need a little Kubano inside of me. Right, go
home to Chelsea movie Ben he dies might now my
brother build us. My brother builds on him. He lives
in Portavara, to Mexico, and he also goes to Cuba
like every now and again because he's got citizenship in Cuba, Mexico,
(02:04:13):
in Spain. Yeah, he's got in the United States, yeah, everywhere.
Speaker 5 (02:04:16):
If you missed anything today, you can still listen to
the podcast on that free iHeartRadio app.

the artist that in a year or two years from now,
is going to be an artist that will never do
a jingle ball ever again. Because how big Conan Gray
will end up being like they'll end up being like, uh,

Speaker 2 (02:05:41):
Yeah, honestly, I know this is going to sound bad.
That's who I'm really excited to see. Like I Nelly

This was like a Nelly radio station. We played every
single song that that Nelly had. Uh and uh, I
think it's gonna remnant. It's gonna be like one of

(02:06:01):
I was when that.
Speaker 49 (02:06:01):

Speaker 2 (02:06:14):
Know what the song is called?
Speaker 5 (02:06:16):

Speaker 2 (02:06:19):

Speaker 11 (02:06:49):

figure out how to give away those tickets. Tiger's playing today.
Three o'clock thoughts on today's game. We got Casey May's
pitching for us, and I'm hoping that he has another
game like he had against Cleveland because Casey is actually
the last outing against Cleveland was actually really really good.
We just got it. This is one of those ones
(02:07:58):
where it's we got to get like a little bit
of the Tiger's mojo going, you know what I mean.
We we thought we were down and out against Cleveland,
right We thought that we probably weren't going to make
it to where we are right now. I think that
you really are you thinking it now? No, I still
got hoped.
Speaker 6 (02:08:15):
I thought we had a little bit of good juice
going at the start of the last game where I
think it was the first player the second play, we
got a challenge call.
Speaker 2 (02:08:22):
Yes. I was like, okay, was that yesterday? Yesterday was
yesterday first play of the game. It was a play
at first base.
Speaker 7 (02:08:28):
And that that felt good.
Speaker 6 (02:08:29):
I was like, okay, we trending in the right direction
right now, and then it just got out of hand.
Speaker 2 (02:08:34):
But today we'll win. We're not We're not stopping this season.
I was telling somebody this. Seattle to me is like, really, like,
if Seattle make it makes it to a World Series,
is anything going? Is anybody in Detroit gonna watch a
World series between say Seattle and the Dodgers.
Speaker 6 (02:08:49):
Yeah, for surely. The Dodgers absolutely show. Hey gonna bring
the viewers and they're trying to.
Speaker 2 (02:08:54):
Go back to back to me. To me, it's like
Oklahoma City Thunder. You know, I have no interest watching that.
Speaker 6 (02:09:00):
Seattle is like classic though, Ken Griffy, Randy Johnson, like
you give me all not now though they.
Speaker 2 (02:09:07):
Don't have anybody on their team other than for each
Row Rodriguez, that people get excited over.
Speaker 6 (02:09:13):
That boy with the shiny bilt. What was that whole
thing about his belt. I've never seen a built like that.
You've made a big deal about it, And.
Speaker 2 (02:09:20):
I thought, I know something.
Speaker 6 (02:09:21):
No, in all of my baseball watching years, I've never
seen somebody with a b dazzled built home.
Speaker 2 (02:09:26):
I wonder how the much of the energy was taken
out of that stadium from people having to sit there
and wait three hours for the game to start. I
wonder how that was.
Speaker 10 (02:09:36):
I got there at seven and the crowd was still great,
like still loud. I would say, like once we switched pictures,
I think we switched pitchers at some point.
Speaker 1 (02:09:46):
Then.
Speaker 5 (02:09:46):
I know people were like, today's alcohol is the dumb question?
During the delay? Oh, like I wonder if people were just.
Speaker 7 (02:09:52):
Yeah, they were lit.
Speaker 2 (02:09:53):
Yeah. By the way, when Flaherty gave up a couple
of runs, I think that was it. That was done.
Did you see that or you didn't because you were
out of the game. But during the television coverage, which
Fox kind of pissed me off, they went away on
f S one. They made you switch over to other
networks to be able to watch the game because they
(02:10:13):
were going to quit the Yankees game as their priority
game because of that happened. But during the rain delay,
they had everybody in the studio and it's like Big Poppy,
a Rod, Derek Jeter, and while they were there trying
to kill time, Derek Jeter's phone goes off and starts
ringing and listen to what was happening.
Speaker 4 (02:10:34):
Each inning, each hitter, each pitch, each out.
Speaker 2 (02:10:40):
Sorry, it's a rain.
Speaker 24 (02:10:41):
Delay, doctor appointment, parent teacher conference that I'm gonna miss,
So sorry, guys, I.
Speaker 46 (02:10:47):
Might, I might thank you.
Speaker 4 (02:10:50):
We were we were that's a true story.
Speaker 1 (02:10:53):
Derek has a parent teacher conference to go to, so
we're going to take a break.
Speaker 4 (02:10:59):
I mean, we weren't supposed to pay on the air.
You're right, this is your surprise to.
Speaker 1 (02:11:02):
All of us. Yeah, I actually should get on it.
All right, real life right now, you should go do
your thing.
Speaker 4 (02:11:07):
You know, you're you're great.
Speaker 17 (02:11:08):
We got you.
Speaker 2 (02:11:09):
How funny is that real life of a teacher conference
all of a sudden, Which is great that that happened,
because it's how many times we had it during the
show where all of a sudden, the phone rings and
it's one of our kids.
Speaker 5 (02:11:21):
Smith has a stomach ache for the one hundred and
seventy seventh time this year.
Speaker 2 (02:11:25):
He's in the front office there trying to get here
from the home. That is hysterical. All right, we'll be
right back with more coming up next. Don't go anywhere.
Speaker 24 (02:11:34):
How good a liar are you? Five lies to tell
your mom is coming up next. Mojo in the Morning,
WQ Detroit, next, Whiskey Till three grade stations, One stupid show.
Speaker 2 (02:11:51):
This is Mojo in the Morning Live. By the way,
today is a much better show than yesterday. So I
want to go on record and say that, Lydia, I
want you to know this. It's okay to call our
baby ugly every now and again if we don't listen,
if if the baby's ugly, and every baby has an
(02:12:12):
ugly stage in their life, some babies they're born ugly.
I know it sounds bad to say that, because some
people say, no baby is ugly, No, your baby's ugly.
You're the one saying that. They're the one believing it.
But today's show is not ugly. Yesterday's show was ugly.
Speaker 12 (02:12:30):
And change show schedule a little bit.
Speaker 2 (02:12:32):
I noticed today.
Speaker 12 (02:12:33):
Yeah, so you must have thought it was ugly at first.
Speaker 2 (02:12:36):
I changed one thing you did, and I did you
know why I changed it? Because I juggled it because
I felt I needed to get something fun. And by
the way, shout out to Kevin, because I'm gonna say this, well,
I think that you you did a nice job of
just being Kevin. And I don't even think he realizes
how important it was. It was a very sad last
(02:13:00):
an hour ago when Shannon was talking about Willow, and
all of a sudden keV with the real story about
his dog. Literally, I'm not I don't think, I promise you.
She was walking down dogs, she was bleeding. I was
you don't have to bring them, but serious, she gotta go. No,
(02:13:22):
today is much better. And if you listen to the
beginning part of the show, if you listen to the
beginning of the part of the show, which some people
don't get a chance to do it, go back and
listen to our podcast and listen to the whole show together.
But the first break of the morning when we talked
about I don't even know what hold on. Let me
see what Zach labeled it as it was Mojo and
the Tigers need to do better today.
Speaker 7 (02:13:42):
That that was the title of it.
Speaker 2 (02:13:45):
We talked about yesterday's show in great length and you'll
you'll hear that because yesterday was a rough one and
and today I think is much better. So can we
give a little behind the scenes real quick? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (02:13:57):
Does that?
Speaker 2 (02:13:57):
Want to know?
Speaker 7 (02:13:58):
Lydia?
Speaker 17 (02:13:58):
You there?
Speaker 21 (02:13:58):
Still?
Speaker 36 (02:13:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (02:14:00):
How do you feel like?
Speaker 2 (02:14:01):
Because obviously you plan for the show.
Speaker 6 (02:14:03):
We go through our show meetings, you schedule things, you
have a flow like how does it feel when you
expect something to happen at a certain time because you've
scheduled it, and all of a sudden you realize like, oh,
he's changed itgue.
Speaker 12 (02:14:15):
It depends on the day. Sometimes I know why he's
doing it. Some days I'm like, well, I don't know
why you're doing it? And then some days she's like,
what's going on? We're going off the rails here? And
then there are days when I'm pmsing and I'm like,
why am I producer? If I'm not the one controlling
the whole show?
Speaker 2 (02:14:33):
Those are my favorite days.
Speaker 12 (02:14:34):
I have those days.
Speaker 2 (02:14:35):
What's today? Which lady are we getting?
Speaker 12 (02:14:37):
I knew why he did it. I thought it was
a smart move too, because it got really dull, and
then it's like, how do we transition?
Speaker 2 (02:14:43):
So no, No, it's also this too, that it's okay, Lyddy,
and I think I have a great understanding of I
am one of those people when I do go rogue,
I don't necessarily know I'm going rogue. And she'll actually
just give me the look. And Chelsea does that with
me too, like they give me the look. You know
(02:15:03):
you got wife, wife and work wife, and Lydia will
give me a look and it's like, basically, I'll do
better next time.
Speaker 12 (02:15:10):
Just walk away. Like this morning, You're like, oh, yesterday.
Speaker 2 (02:15:15):
And did you like that I made that our first topic.
I thought that, you know, that's the one thing. That's
the one thing I like to do. I like to
I like to make everybody stand their toes a little bit.
Speaker 10 (02:15:24):
So I'm not gonna lie being the new person here.
Yesterday when we left and I was like, oh, shoot,
Mojo said it wasn't a good show.
Speaker 7 (02:15:31):
I was like, I don't know, maybe is it for me?
Speaker 12 (02:15:38):
I know it was a bad day. Mojo asked me
to go to lunch yesterday and I wasn't really wanting
to go.
Speaker 9 (02:15:42):
It was a bad day.
Speaker 2 (02:15:44):
But did it did it turn out? Okay? It was
a good lunch.
Speaker 12 (02:15:49):
But you also gave me a look yesterday and I
told you you did. I wasn't going to bring that up. Yeah,
he gave me a look to it.
Speaker 8 (02:15:54):
I confronted him about it, and I was like, you
gave me the look that I did bad today and
you're like, no, no, no, no, it's fine.
Speaker 2 (02:15:59):
But it's not fine. I gave you the look and
ahead of the conversation.
Speaker 12 (02:16:03):
But we're doing better today. Confronts you more, Mojo me
or Bianca.
Speaker 2 (02:16:07):
Uh well, I tell this to Chelsea all the time.
I'm harder on Bianca than I have been on anybody
that was in that position before you. So I'm definitely
because I feel like she's almost I told Chelsea this
last night. You can literally text her and ask her.
She kind of reminds me of Luke, and I feel
like I expect the most. I expect the most from
(02:16:28):
people who are my own like children. But if I
treated your predecessors to that, oh my god, I have
a trouble.
Speaker 7 (02:16:38):
But yeah, you're like like, Uncle Mojo, that's right.
Speaker 2 (02:16:41):
I'm looking at our Instagram that Bianca put up here,
and we've got a couple of topics still to get to.
Han't gotten to, hasn't told his friends. We're gonna get
to that one. We did do Shannon's topic about Willow,
but we did talk to Duke. Kevin's a story about
Jasmine and Josiah in the sleepover Anna dating in different cities. Oh,
(02:17:02):
we got to get to this next topic with after
the five lies, tell your mom Lydia and they bring
your ex to workday. This is yes, real juicy. This
story is a good one. It's on for right after
we get done with this.
Speaker 4 (02:17:19):
It's Mojo in the morning, Five Lives to tell you.
Speaker 2 (02:17:25):
Amanda is ready for five Lives to tell your mom?
What's up? Amanda?
Speaker 31 (02:17:30):
Hi?
Speaker 32 (02:17:31):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (02:17:32):
We are great? Are you ready to win mom a prize?
Speaker 23 (02:17:36):
I am half ready, half not, but I'm ready to go.
Speaker 2 (02:17:40):
Okay, a little nervous with this one. Bianca, give us
a detail on this.
Speaker 12 (02:17:44):
All right, So, Marine is the mom.
Speaker 8 (02:17:46):
She just got out of a ten year relationship, and
we're going to pretend that Amanda the daughter actually went
out to eat with the ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (02:17:54):
Oh, oh boy, no loyalty at all.
Speaker 32 (02:18:01):
Yeah, she's gonna be It's gonna be rough, but it's.
Speaker 29 (02:18:04):
Gonna be great.
Speaker 2 (02:18:05):
All right, Here we go, five lies, These are what
listeners need to listen for. Lie number one. You're gonna say,
I went out to eat with his name is Chris. Yes,
I went out to eat with Chris and his new girlfriend.
Lie number two.
Speaker 5 (02:18:18):
She's actually so nice and really pretty.
Speaker 2 (02:18:22):
Oh god, Lie number three, she's really young though, like
younger than you. Oh geez. Lie number four, Anna.
Speaker 7 (02:18:30):
They were talking about having kids, Oh god.
Speaker 2 (02:18:34):
And Lie number five. He told me not to tell anyone,
So keep your mouth shut. Mom's not gonna keep her
mouth shut because she's gonna want to kill you for
saying all that stuff.
Speaker 16 (02:18:46):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (02:18:47):
Absolutely, let's call mom up five lies. Tell your mom.
If she stays on for all five lies, you win
her a prize. If she hangs up because she's all
upset about this, you lose and Mom's pissed at you.
Speaker 1 (02:19:00):
Ready, yep, ready to go?
Speaker 2 (02:19:02):
All right, we're gonna dollar out pulled on one second?
Speaker 35 (02:19:15):
Hi?
Speaker 37 (02:19:17):
Hi?
Speaker 20 (02:19:18):
Yeah, how's work?
Speaker 1 (02:19:21):
M hm, that's okay. It's been really busy.
Speaker 23 (02:19:24):
Oh I'm sorry.
Speaker 20 (02:19:26):
Do you have a couple of minutes to chat?
Speaker 16 (02:19:29):
Of course?
Speaker 32 (02:19:29):
Yeah, of course, okay, thank you. Okay, So I have
to tell you something. Austin and I ran into Chris
and his new girlfriend okay, and we ended up going.
Speaker 16 (02:19:48):
To lunch with them.
Speaker 32 (02:19:50):
Okay, but she's actually super nice and shockingly, she's like
really pretty okay, but incredibly young.
Speaker 1 (02:20:09):
Okay, he's been texting me an idiot.
Speaker 17 (02:20:17):
Go ahead. They they talked about having kids together, okay,
but he said specifically to not say anything.
Speaker 23 (02:20:34):
So please let the keeper.
Speaker 20 (02:20:37):
I don't care, I don't care.
Speaker 32 (02:20:39):
Please just keep your mouth shut.
Speaker 20 (02:20:42):
Why did you guys go out with him?
Speaker 32 (02:20:47):
We just ran into him, and you know the relationship
that aust has had with Chris, so not.
Speaker 16 (02:20:55):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (02:21:01):
Okay, you are so mean to your mom. I just
want you to know that, Amanda, I can't even do it.
Speaker 32 (02:21:12):
How are you mom?
Speaker 33 (02:21:13):
Are you good?
Speaker 2 (02:21:14):
Amanda's mom? Yeah, this is the Mojo in the Morning show.
And Amanda had you on five lies to tell your mom.
Oh my gosh, I was.
Speaker 12 (02:21:27):
Gonna cry for I know.
Speaker 37 (02:21:28):
I felt that.
Speaker 32 (02:21:31):
That was They were like, are you ready? And I
was like, I'm half ready, but I'm half not. But
I was scared.
Speaker 23 (02:21:41):
But but I was very confident what I was saying
because I was like, She's like, you're actually really pretty
and young, mom, So to hear you.
Speaker 2 (02:21:51):
Say that I'm an idiot really got me? Oh sorry, yeah, no, no, no, Amanda,
I thought that you were so cruel because I could
see a smile on your face as you were delivering
all five of the lies.
Speaker 32 (02:22:05):
Oh my gosh, I mean because normally if that actually
was the case, which would never freaking happen, I would
have either not told her, told her via text, or
like had to do it in person with like my husband,
with me doing most of the talking.
Speaker 1 (02:22:26):
Surprise fun.
Speaker 2 (02:22:27):
The real surprise is that you and Chris are still texting.
Oh really?
Speaker 37 (02:22:31):
Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, he's yeah.
Speaker 23 (02:22:34):
And it's so weird because he will text me.
Speaker 1 (02:22:37):
Like little memes and little videos.
Speaker 20 (02:22:39):
It's like what are you doing? Like why are you
doing this?
Speaker 34 (02:22:43):
So yeah, and I'm pretty sure that's when I called
him a freaking idiot.
Speaker 2 (02:22:48):
So let's do this. Let's all now together. Wish upon
Chris the ugliest new girlfriend ever if he ever gets
a girlfriendly yes, yes, best? Ye Oh my gosh, Hey, Amanda,
won you a prize?
Speaker 20 (02:23:05):
Mom, what's surprise?
Speaker 2 (02:23:11):
I don't even know.
Speaker 16 (02:23:12):
I just was to do this.
Speaker 7 (02:23:14):
The prize is a new guy hotter than.
Speaker 2 (02:23:16):
Chris, and.
Speaker 20 (02:23:20):
I actually have that I actually have that right now,
Oh you do?
Speaker 2 (02:23:23):
Okay, all right, then we'll get you something that you
guys can enjoy together.
Speaker 34 (02:23:29):
Okay, he listens to you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:23:31):
So what's his name? Shout out the new man.
Speaker 20 (02:23:34):
Oh, no, I don't mean him, I mean Chris, Oh Chris,
Sorry Chris.
Speaker 4 (02:23:41):
It's Mojo in the Morning. Five lies to tell you.
Speaker 2 (02:23:48):
I want to be on five lies. Text five lies
to nine five zero zero or text mom is another
one that's actually probably easier. Text mom, and then give
us an idea of what you'd like to do. All right,
Joe in the Morning Show. So Lydia's ex boyfriend is
coming back into the picture, coming not back into the
(02:24:09):
picture with a relationship with her, but with a relationship
with the radio station apparently.
Speaker 12 (02:24:17):
Sorry, Mojo, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (02:24:18):
No, I'm shocked by this whole thing. I just heard
about this yesterday. When I heard about it yesterday, I
thought to myself, I'm like, doesn't Lydia have any says
on this? But tell the story.
Speaker 35 (02:24:28):
Well.
Speaker 12 (02:24:29):
Last week one of our sales reps, Alicia, came to
me and she asked if our show could do a
Planet Fitness commercial. And I was like, yeah, sure, absolutely,
and She's like, well, there's one thing that I need
to ask you. She's like, I don't know many videographers,
and I wanted to know if it would be okay
if we went on site to Planet Fitness and had
to Drew do it.
Speaker 2 (02:24:49):
And I was like, explain who Drew is? Please?
Speaker 12 (02:24:53):
So Drew's Max boyfriend. We broke up in July.
Speaker 2 (02:24:56):
We used to call him on the show. Remember we
called him that. You call him that's true, Yeah, you
call him deadn't day, that's right. This is the guy
that Lydia traveled to Arizona to go and and uh,
and see she pulled you in it. She pulled in
Nana Anna listened to this story. This guy liked Lydia
(02:25:18):
so much he packed all his crap and moved to
Michigan and Lydia dumped him.
Speaker 12 (02:25:25):
I dumped him later.
Speaker 2 (02:25:27):
Is that crazy? The guy moved here and.
Speaker 7 (02:25:29):
He still lives here.
Speaker 12 (02:25:30):
I guess so, because according to Alicia, he's going to
be coming in and going on site to Planet Fitness
with you guys to film your commercial.
Speaker 2 (02:25:38):
Come, that's crazy. He's going to be our camera guyde
knowing all this stuff, I.
Speaker 12 (02:25:43):
Guess so, And uh, I have to find a way
out of it, because I'm not trying to be around
for that. Like I haven't really talked to him since
we've broken up.
Speaker 5 (02:25:50):
My question is what what's the status of your your
post relationship relationship.
Speaker 12 (02:25:56):
I have no ill will towards him, but I will
say that I I mean, I'm not angry at him.
He did some really messed up things to me behind
my back while we were in a relationship, and I
found out about that afterwards. Does that Alicia knows some
of it? Yeah, Alicia client Alicia in like friendship Alicia?
(02:26:16):
Is it completely.
Speaker 2 (02:26:17):
Alicia's all business?
Speaker 6 (02:26:18):
It just seemed like he's the only one in Michigan
with a camera, Like how was he just the indo
all be all?
Speaker 12 (02:26:24):
It was easy access for her.
Speaker 2 (02:26:26):
I think this is by the way, like is Alicia
at her finest?
Speaker 4 (02:26:31):
You're back?
Speaker 7 (02:26:33):
He was doing it on the.
Speaker 10 (02:26:34):
Low, like at a good discount because he wants to
see Ladia again.
Speaker 7 (02:26:38):
That could be a thing.
Speaker 2 (02:26:39):
Wait, but it's still way. That's interesting. Maybe we're getting
the friends and family discount, right, I mean, obviously like
the family deal. I don't know Drew like that.
Speaker 6 (02:26:48):
If he hurt you then obviously, like I'm gonna be
on yo, SA, come get your money. I just I
don't I think Alicia Messi in the situation, be honest
with you.
Speaker 2 (02:26:55):
What do you guys say?
Speaker 7 (02:26:56):
Has anybody ever had to do this?
Speaker 2 (02:26:57):
Anybody ever had to break they broke up only to
have to work with your significant other. You're the person
that you just broke up with, like you actually have
to do like business together, because that is suck. This
is why you don't do the whole dip in the
pen and the company inc.
Speaker 12 (02:27:13):
He doesn't work for the company.
Speaker 2 (02:27:15):
Well, all right, this or not, it's not a he
I have to see him. This is a choice then,
but he but he did start off as a client
of the radio station. I remember, yes, you met him
because he owned the.
Speaker 12 (02:27:26):
The the marketing person.
Speaker 2 (02:27:29):
Yeah for house. This video mad to be cold. So
all I gotta say, av the best plan?
Speaker 18 (02:27:38):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (02:27:39):
Here's the deal. Here's a deal, Drew. You're gonna put
this thing together. You're gonna make me look skinny or
or I'm calling you out on this one. What's going
on in Angi?
Speaker 21 (02:27:48):
Hi?
Speaker 26 (02:27:51):
I think Lydia should take a sick day, Mojo, and
I think you should approve it.
Speaker 34 (02:27:54):
Because we are not going to do this.
Speaker 2 (02:27:57):
No, no, no, I want to face We face our
people head on on this radio show. It brings us
good drama. It brings us good drama.
Speaker 1 (02:28:05):
No, no, you don't need drama.
Speaker 50 (02:28:08):
We're here to plug live.
Speaker 23 (02:28:10):
Taylor shifts all the way.
Speaker 2 (02:28:11):
You know, No, Taylor's I'm sorry, we got You have
to understand something, Angie. Just because you had a relationship
with somebody doesn't mean that the business doesn't move right.
The world doesn't end. We can't end this world right
now because of this, you know. I guess, yeah, I
do have loyalty to Lydia. But I also got to
(02:28:32):
tell you Planet Fitness spends a lot of money on
this radio show. We can't mess that thing up. Here's
work for Planet Fitness. Remember, well, but Alicia hired him.
We could get somebody else to do a great video
for Planet Finnis. I think Alicia's messing with Lydia by
doing this, isn't it.
Speaker 12 (02:28:47):
I mean, well, I told her it was okay. And
then when I found out was this coming in here.
Speaker 5 (02:28:53):
Because you were because you weren't going to come to
part of the shoot, right, No, No, I wasn't going
to come so it didn't even matter who it was,
right exactly, So I was like, whatever, sure, why not.
Speaker 2 (02:29:01):
Starring in the Planet Fitness commercial with us? She should
be in it for what's going on? How you doing, Jennifer?
Speaker 46 (02:29:12):
Good morning, my family. We can't we can't do this
to Lydia, Like, no, no, not at.
Speaker 50 (02:29:20):
All, she can't.
Speaker 1 (02:29:21):
I know, listen, I'm like her sister.
Speaker 46 (02:29:24):
Bro, We're not doing this, sir.
Speaker 32 (02:29:26):
You guys need to be.
Speaker 51 (02:29:29):
Having Lydia's back.
Speaker 46 (02:29:31):
We can't have Dinas and Drew over there, okay, like
not a studio, not a Planet Fitness. I personally know
like a couple of videographers. Well that I can shoot
your way Lydia just because I can't, I can't have
but done with her at all. No, we love her
too much, the queen.
Speaker 2 (02:29:50):
Look at this, Wow she does.
Speaker 11 (02:29:51):
She doesn't deserve that peasant her. Uh.
Speaker 2 (02:29:56):
Lydia's fan club is speaking. What's going on? Karina Hi?
Speaker 37 (02:30:02):
For time long time, I just wanted to say, if
it was like a am I the a whole situation
right now?
Speaker 29 (02:30:11):
Lydia would kind of be the a hole And you
guys should.
Speaker 45 (02:30:13):
Give Alicia a little bit of a break.
Speaker 20 (02:30:15):
Because she asked she had straight up asked her.
Speaker 7 (02:30:19):
She did, like, Hey, is this okay or not?
Speaker 2 (02:30:22):
Remember Lydia just said Lydia just said that. She asked,
and Lydia gave the approval. I wouldn't call it. Should
should you even have to ask in that situation though?
Speaker 7 (02:30:32):
Or should you just know not to do that?
Speaker 1 (02:30:37):
Ask why? I don't know.
Speaker 6 (02:30:40):
If I'm in a situation and I know it's going
to be uncomfortable for the person that I deal with
every day, that I have the longest relationship with and
the deepest relationship with, and it's just a one off
video shoot, Do I risk the relationship that I have
and the tightness and the trust that I've built just
had this one person come in for this one.
Speaker 2 (02:30:58):
Shoot that part?
Speaker 37 (02:31:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:31:01):
Would you would you protest being in the commercial produced
by him?
Speaker 11 (02:31:06):
Or no?
Speaker 2 (02:31:06):
Would you? Well, I'm done. You're down with doing it?
Or with protests protesting?
Speaker 17 (02:31:14):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:31:15):
No, no, no?
Speaker 2 (02:31:16):
Hold on seventy seven?
Speaker 34 (02:31:19):
Yes, Hi?
Speaker 2 (02:31:20):
What do you think about this? And for those that
are just tuning in, Lydia's x is going to be
working for the station for one day and one day
only doing a video for us? Uh, what do you
think about that?
Speaker 9 (02:31:35):
Put my girl Lydia on a pedestal when he comes in,
have her in a business suit looking good.
Speaker 43 (02:31:40):
Yes, every decision he.
Speaker 2 (02:31:42):
Made, Lydia, you got your makeup done that day that
he comes in. You gotta look she's gotta look hot.
Speaker 12 (02:31:48):
I'm not trying to get back together with him either,
So you don't know, why.
Speaker 2 (02:31:51):
Don't we do this? Why don't we do a date
Lydia day that day for a bit? All these guys,
all these guys are going to come in studio.
Speaker 1 (02:32:00):
I want right now.
Speaker 2 (02:32:03):
We gotta have it. We got to make something kind
of big on this whole deal. I'll think about this
when I'm going to lunch with Shannon and keVs Axes today.
We're all would not surprise me? Would it surprise you
become a franchise or.
Speaker 44 (02:32:25):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:32:25):
I think I think, honestly, I think that this is
wild though, that Alicia did this, Like this is honestly
bigger than any of the other stuff. It's like, first off,
I didn't even think that he did this for a living, Like,
how did she know that he did video stuff for
a living? Who was the person that turned her onto him?
Well that's how they did.
Speaker 12 (02:32:44):
Yeah, he turned her on to him because he is
the marketing person now for Middle Eights, who is a
client of ours.
Speaker 7 (02:32:51):
I met him.
Speaker 2 (02:32:52):
Yes, that's Lydia's axe.
Speaker 7 (02:32:55):
I'm not going to say how I felt about him. Well,
is it good or bad?
Speaker 5 (02:32:58):
No?
Speaker 2 (02:32:59):
Come on, little like aiden say nice things.
Speaker 12 (02:33:02):
You're mouthinging on live. You can just say.
Speaker 2 (02:33:04):
It's a seriously nice guy.
Speaker 22 (02:33:09):
I like him.
Speaker 2 (02:33:10):
He was a cool dude, bro.
Speaker 7 (02:33:12):
I don't know him.
Speaker 2 (02:33:13):
He was very nicely I like, I like, but we
also don't know the back.
Speaker 12 (02:33:17):
You know, the scenes tell you guys, whether it's off
the or on the air. There are some things that
I go to therapy for, and he had one and
told his friends and family about the things that I'm
in therapy for. I didn't like. That's that's why him
and I are not on good terms. Well not for
my end, but I wish him.
Speaker 8 (02:33:38):
Well and honestly, I kind of want him to come
in to see how good Lydia is doing without him,
and Lydia doesn't want him back. So I don't think
it's gonna affect Lydia at all.
Speaker 12 (02:33:47):
But he's gonna know what he lost.
Speaker 2 (02:33:50):
What a friend you are, Bianca.
Speaker 12 (02:33:51):
I'm not going to talk to him.
Speaker 1 (02:33:54):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 12 (02:33:54):
I'm going to give him the silent treatment.
Speaker 10 (02:33:56):
It just shows how much Lydia loves the show. She's
willing to go through this for the show.
Speaker 2 (02:34:00):
That is true.
Speaker 8 (02:34:00):
I will be sitting in Tony's office that day anyway,
and I'm gonna be giving him the duster.
Speaker 2 (02:34:04):
By the way, there's no that's the weird part about
these iHeart offices. There's no walls in these offices. Nowhere
to hide. Yeah, everything is a window. Yeah, so it's
not like we can hide in anywhere. Our studio is
also glass too, So all right, we'll be right back,
coming up later in the show.
Speaker 4 (02:34:21):
Mojo Interviews Justin Bieber and Shared Goff.

Speaker 38 (02:36:15):
Well, we're not going to quit, you know we we
we had two games where we pitched tremendously well, and
we had a lot of parts of this game where
we pitched tremendously well.
Speaker 2 (02:36:23):
But listen, this is the playoffs, and I should have
traded for that guy the third Basement series if we
can answer the challenge. We were playing Seattle line up
and putting up more runs. We were playing Seattle in
the regular season right before the trade deadline, and Suarez
was there, and we needed a third basement. We need
a third basement right now. We need a good hit
or two. The guy freaking hits a bomb yesterday. While
(02:36:44):
he's hitting a bomb yes day, my text goes off.
It's Tony Travado. Tony Travado goes you were right. We
should have traded for the guy.
Speaker 1 (02:36:51):
Wasn't he a Tiger, No he was.
Speaker 2 (02:36:53):
I don't think Suarez was. I'm not mistaken. I don't
think he was. But he was an Arizona diamondback and
we were playing. Actually, I'm sorry the Diamondbacks at the time,
and he was here, and a lot of people said, hey,
maybe we need this Suarez guy who was already really good,
and we did not make a trade because we want
(02:37:14):
to keep our farm system intact. And I got to
tell you, I feel like we're a couple of players away.
We got to figure this out.
Speaker 6 (02:37:20):
He played for the Tigers. He signed as an amateur
free agent back in two thousand and eight.
Speaker 2 (02:37:26):
So how did he become a diamondback then? Well, he
was a Tiger, then a Cincinnati Red, then a Mariner,
then a Diamondback. Now he's back with the w I
was watching yesterday, uh or two days ago. I was
watching the Phillies and they had Nick Castiano's playing for them.
We got a bucket of fricking balls for the guy.
The guy is one of the best hitters in baseball.
Did you realize how many players that we had on
(02:37:47):
this on this Tigers team over the years that we
just completely pissed away?
Speaker 7 (02:37:52):
That's how used to be.
Speaker 2 (02:37:53):
It's crazy.
Speaker 6 (02:37:55):
Yes, I'm guaranteeing a win, are you If we don't win, yeah,
breakfast tomorrow, dyeing my hair.
Speaker 5 (02:38:04):
Ah, hopfully he's gonna say how fast green like Mariner's color.
Speaker 7 (02:38:10):
I'll ask you die it back though, well you can,
but not really. You're it's gonna have to grow out.
Speaker 2 (02:38:17):
Come on, I was gonna say orange orange, all right,
I can't do that because.
Speaker 7 (02:38:23):
You're gonna have to bleach it.
Speaker 2 (02:38:24):
Then died You never mind, all right?
Speaker 17 (02:38:30):
Use or.
Speaker 5 (02:38:33):
Dolly Parton's younger sister, Frieda, publicly shared that Dolly needs
prayers this.
Speaker 39 (02:38:39):
Morning, growing concern for iconic singer Dolly Parton after her
sister posted on social media asking for prayers amid the
star's recent health issues. In a post Tuesday, part and
(02:39:01):
sister Freda writing, I was up all night praying for
my sister Dolly. Many of you know she hasn't been
feeling her best lately, and asking her fans to be
prayer warriors and pray with me. It comes just more
than a week after the seventy nine year old announced
she was delaying her Las Vegas residency from December to
next fall.
Speaker 22 (02:39:20):
Is show.
Speaker 39 (02:39:22):
In a post written with her trademark sense of humor,
Dolly saying, my doctors tell me that I must have
a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must
be time for my one hundred thousand mile checkup, although
it's not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon.
In all seriousness, given this, I'm not going to be
able to rehearse and put together the show that I
want you to see and the show that you deserve
(02:39:44):
to see.
Speaker 37 (02:39:45):
What day.
Speaker 39 (02:39:48):
The seventy nine year old assuring the public that she
has no plans to retire, saying, don't worry about me
quit in the business because God hasn't said anything about
stopping yet. But I believe he is telling me to
slow down right now. Just this year, Dolly suffered the
loss of her husband of nearly sixty years. She recently
explained why she keeps pushing forward.
Speaker 36 (02:40:07):
I would rather wear out than rushed out, because I
think a lot of people when they do retire, they
start to rush.
Speaker 39 (02:40:14):
In her post yesterday, Dolly's sister saying I know in
my heart she's going to be just fine.
Speaker 5 (02:40:19):
So this morning she's kind of changing her tune a
little bit, her sister Frida and saying it, Hey, I
thought I didn't mean to scare everybody.
Speaker 2 (02:40:24):
It's not that serious.
Speaker 5 (02:40:25):
She said, quote She's been a little under the weather,
and I simply asked for prayers because I believe so
strongly in the power of prayer.
Speaker 2 (02:40:34):
I hope that's the case. Yeah, it'd be.
Speaker 5 (02:40:35):
It's a very very sad day when Dolly goes Selena Gomez.
Two things from her beautiful wedding that I want to
talk about.
Speaker 2 (02:40:43):
One of the vape. Did you guys see this?
Speaker 13 (02:40:46):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:40:46):
Really, there is this photo.
Speaker 5 (02:40:48):
There's a video too, but there's a photo of her
getting ready and she's got she's clutching her vape and
now everybody is finally noticing this and going, oh, ruins
this gorgeous photo. And also I saw somebody comment, wonder
what the girl who donated her kidney thinks about it?
Speaker 2 (02:41:06):
That's interesting, huh.
Speaker 5 (02:41:07):
And speaking of her kidney donor, Francia Rasa, she was
not at the wedding.
Speaker 2 (02:41:14):
She didn't invite. The girl with that kid I don't
know if she wasn't invited or didn't go.
Speaker 5 (02:41:19):
She said in an interview prior to Selena's wedding that
she's very happy for her. She said, and I quote, look,
she has a life and she is already a billionaire,
and I am grateful that I could do that for her.
Speaker 2 (02:41:30):
Was Selena's mom there Mandy. Yeah, she was there very
very close. No, there was a rumor that they had
a falling out right before the wedding, or there was
some kind of issue in that. I read like the
say the dirty tablet I read. No, I read like
the ones like that are in the news or the
aisles at the E And there was a story that
(02:41:54):
was in there about how her mom and Benny Blanco
don't necessarily think her mom didn't her mom like help
introduce her, or like urge her to date Benny Blanco, or.
Speaker 12 (02:42:04):
There's like a falling out or something that there are
rumors that she was jealous that Selena's grandpa walked her
down the aisle and she wasn't able to take that on.
But then she shut down those rumors. Her mom did say.
Speaker 6 (02:42:16):
Real quick back to the you can't vape if it's
our kidney. It's my kidney. Now, how do y'all feel
about that?
Speaker 2 (02:42:23):
Like you got a transplant because you needed a good one,
and you would think that you're taking care of that body.
Speaker 6 (02:42:29):
So is it that you're taking care of your body
or are you not doing it out of respect for
the person who gave you there?
Speaker 2 (02:42:34):
Well, I think that the person that gave it to
you not necessarily has rights to it anymore. But you
you would think though that if she's worried about her health,
you know, with what she's got called.
Speaker 5 (02:42:44):
So I think that you see this beautiful photo of
Selena sitting there in her gown and her veilin, and
it's like and then she's clutching this vape in her hand,
and I don't know, it kind of runs a picture
in my opinion, it was my opinion, And what do
you think it picture?
Speaker 7 (02:43:03):
It does ruin the picture.
Speaker 10 (02:43:04):
But they make vapes without the like addictive stuff, just
real people that are trying to kick it.
Speaker 7 (02:43:09):
You never know.
Speaker 2 (02:43:09):
I just you're a vapor, aren't you, And we just
don't know yet. No, you're a vapor.
Speaker 7 (02:43:14):
I'm a smoker.
Speaker 2 (02:43:16):
You smoke cigarettes like her? Oh you smoke like weed,
just weeds. Yeah, okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (02:43:21):
So Lydia just sent this to me and said Francie
was invited to Selena's wedding. She had another event already scheduled,
so there was a Conflict's bigger than Selena.
Speaker 7 (02:43:32):
Ladie uh and.
Speaker 5 (02:43:35):
Taylor Swift has a message for Swifties who are not
exactly loving her newest album, Like of a show girl, I.
Speaker 7 (02:43:42):
Welcome the chaos.
Speaker 40 (02:43:44):
The rule, the rule of show business is if it's
the first week of my album release and you are
saying either my name or my album title, you're helping.
Speaker 2 (02:43:54):
She also said everybody's entitled to their own opinion about a.
Speaker 40 (02:43:57):
Lost respect for people's subjective opinions on art.
Speaker 7 (02:44:01):
I'm not the art police.
Speaker 40 (02:44:03):
It's like everybody is allowed to feel exactly how they want,
and what our goal is as entertainers is to be
a mirror for everything.
Speaker 2 (02:44:12):
You missed from today's show.

tried that lobster. Wasn't mac and cheese sandwich.
Speaker 7 (02:45:20):
What was itester grilled cheese.
Speaker 2 (02:45:22):
Lobster grilled cheese sandwich And it was good.
Speaker 7 (02:45:26):
I don't know if it was thirty two dollars good.
Speaker 2 (02:45:28):
Okay, it was good.
Speaker 37 (02:45:30):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (02:45:30):
You didn't get a chance to try the Pirogi nachos.
Speaker 7 (02:45:33):
Though, Oh they were Everything was sold out. I was
so sad.
Speaker 2 (02:45:36):
Yeah, I'm a traditional hot dog guy, like I love
the hot You gotta get a good hot dog, like
a real good all beef hot dog. And I used
to they used to have and I don't know if
they still do, but they used to have the best burgers.
But you had to go up to the three hundred
level to go get them, and I would so I
would actually walk. It was the only time Chelsea's like,
(02:45:58):
I cannot believe that you're this much effort into a burger.
They were so good, Honestly, they were better. And I
don't tell you have to call and tell me or
text me and tell me if they still have those
those burgers up there. But it was like on a
grill and they were so good.
Speaker 12 (02:46:12):
What made it good?
Speaker 7 (02:46:13):
Was it like a thin patty the nose It was.
Speaker 2 (02:46:15):
A thicker patty, and it had it had some kind
of I don't know, it's like a taste to it
like it had been probably the same grill that they
used at the old Tiger Stadium grilled. Honestly, that's what
makes it okay. You can walk it off on your
way back to your seat, you know what.
Speaker 6 (02:46:32):
But you know they do that non non non challenge,
non inn these non beers, non dogs. Yeah, the Phillies
did a condensed version with nine many hot dogs, nine
mini beers that you could actually complete a nine.
Speaker 12 (02:46:43):
I thought that was pretty dope.
Speaker 2 (02:46:45):
Really Okay, all right, well here's what we're gonna do.
We're gonna bring three guys on here right now, three

Okay, all right, So here's the deal. So all you
guys are quick drive to go to the game today.
We're gonna do a round of take me out to
the ball game. You're gonna have to know where the
words to take me out to the ballgame, and then
we're gonna pick one of you guys to get the tickets. Okay,
So this is mojo take me out to the ballgame,
and I'm gonna call out your names and then you
(02:47:54):
got to do the next verse, but I may not
go into a particular order. Okay, so you guys, did
you guys know the lyrics. If you don't know the lyrics,
make them up. Because if you don't make them up
and you you don't say anything. And guess what. So
they don't have to be exactly right now. They got
to be creative at least, but I want them to be.
(02:48:15):
I want them to be as right as possible. And
we'll see which one of you guys is the best
at doing this. You know the song, Take me out
to the ball game? All right, I'll start it, and
then I'll call your name out to do the next verse.
All right, you ready, here we go.
Speaker 1 (02:48:29):
Okay, take me out to the ball game.
Speaker 2 (02:48:34):
Take me out to the crowd. Chris, buy me so Peter,
crack jack.
Speaker 7 (02:48:42):
Sarah, I don't, I don't care. Get back Alex, just.
Speaker 1 (02:48:51):
Time, Chris.
Speaker 7 (02:48:54):
Take me out to the pall Sarah to take.
Speaker 50 (02:48:58):
My twelve, one, two, three strikes.
Speaker 34 (02:49:03):
You're out at the Allen Fall.
Speaker 16 (02:49:07):
Game.
Speaker 37 (02:49:08):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (02:49:09):
He's time to sing it beautifully.
Speaker 7 (02:49:11):
Go ahead, Chris, gunn chake, lean out.
Speaker 22 (02:49:15):
To the ball chack me out to the Sarah.
Speaker 46 (02:49:22):
And crack or jack everybody, Alec, Chris Strike, you're out
(02:49:43):
at the.
Speaker 16 (02:49:47):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (02:49:48):
That was actually excellent? That was excellent.
Speaker 27 (02:49:51):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (02:49:52):
I gotta tell you, I think I got one that
I like. But let's go around the room and let's
see what everybody says. We're gonna go around the room.
We're gonna vote for who we liked the most on
in this one. Here, I'll go with Shannon first, Shannon,
who'd you like the most?
Speaker 11 (02:50:05):
Was Chris?
Speaker 2 (02:50:05):
The one that was being created with the lyrics about Chris. Yes, okay,
that's my vote. All right, let's go to Anna for
the next one.
Speaker 7 (02:50:12):
Here, Anna, I gotta go with my girl from Holly.
Speaker 2 (02:50:17):
You like Sarah?
Speaker 7 (02:50:18):
Okay, kelev who do you like?
Speaker 8 (02:50:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:50:19):
I got a twelve year old myself.
Speaker 7 (02:50:21):
Man, I'm going with Chris Chris.
Speaker 2 (02:50:22):
Okay, let's go. I'm gonna say that I liked Alec
because Alex sounded like the guys like hank Man Tell
the Monk, but he got drownded out by Chris.
Speaker 18 (02:50:33):
I think Chris has gotta go. I'm sorry, Sarah, Oh
my god, It's like I'm just.
Speaker 44 (02:50:45):
Like, yeah, I made a fool of myself that worked
for nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:50:48):
Like for some reason, for some reason, and no, no offense,
Chris or Aleck if this is you. But Alec, I
got the feeling that you drive like a Toyota Prius
or something. What do you what do you drive.
Speaker 14 (02:51:00):
Right now?
Speaker 16 (02:51:01):
It's a escape.
Speaker 2 (02:51:03):
Escape okay, all right, all right. I was like, I'm
sitting there going, I'm like, is that Alex going dang? Yeah,
I'll tell them sounds. And then Sarah was cute too.
She was like, take me out and she had to
deal with the two guys. And then Chris.
Speaker 7 (02:51:17):
Honestly, Chris, Chris is the guy.
Speaker 2 (02:51:19):
I don't want to sit next to Chris, like, no offense,
I don't want to I don't want to be next
to you Chris at the game, Like I'd much rather
sit next to Sarah, she seems, or even Alec, but
Chris would be the guy at the game. And I
think will get loud at the game and Chris, you're
going congratulations. So Chris is definitely And who are you
bringing with? Who are you taking with?
Speaker 7 (02:51:38):
I'm gonna bring my twelve year old, so that's awesome, and.
Speaker 20 (02:51:42):
You're gonna have a great.
Speaker 2 (02:51:47):
All right, We'll have the best time and take some
pictures and make sure you send them to us. Hold
on one second, Detroit three grade stations one a stupid show.
This is Mojo in the Morning Live.
Speaker 22 (02:52:06):
What were you saying?
Speaker 2 (02:52:07):
I put you on hold? Chris? What did you say?
Speaker 16 (02:52:09):
I said?
Speaker 20 (02:52:10):
This is my first time.
Speaker 16 (02:52:11):
Long time.
Speaker 22 (02:52:16):
Let's go, baby.
Speaker 23 (02:52:17):
I love you guys, Thank.
Speaker 16 (02:52:19):
You so much.
Speaker 2 (02:52:19):
Have the best time, buddy. I love Listen to how
happy he is. He's so damn happy. Wait till he
sees that he's up in the three hundred level by
the burgers. Hey, he's there. He can fill the energy.
Speaker 7 (02:52:32):
Do it a favor.
Speaker 2 (02:52:33):
Take a picture up there of what it's like with
the burgers. If the burgers are up there.
Speaker 7 (02:52:39):
Okay, I will definitely get one.
Speaker 2 (02:52:41):
All right, Hold on one second, stand by, Thank you,
don't go anywhere. I gotta put you on hold. All right.
It is Mojo in the Morning Phone number eight four
to four, Mojo Live, Texas nine five to five zero zero.
I want you guys, tell me if you think this
is a red flag. We have a friend who has
been dating a guy for gosh over a month or so,
(02:53:04):
and he still hasn't told his friends or co workers
that he's dating this This girl, and I.
Speaker 1 (02:53:11):
Want to know.
Speaker 2 (02:53:14):
They're staying at each other's places and uh, touching naughty
bits and hanging out with each other all the time.
They're going to dinners, they hold hands, they do things
like that red flag if you don't tell friends, like
you don't tell your actual close friends, or you don't
tell like your family that hey, I've been seeing this person.
(02:53:37):
I think that there's something that you got to be
aware that this is not a relationship. This is not
going to be for some reason, he's something crazy, they're
something shady.
Speaker 6 (02:53:46):
So you're saying the person that's being dated if the
other person doesn't tell everybody, I should think that's a
real Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:53:53):
Like we were having a conversation and we said, hey,
you know, so, as have you met like anybody, like
you've been together for a couple of months. I think
it has been have you you know? So it has
it hasn't just been. I was just gonna say, because
a month to me is not that crazy. Like her
friends have met, but his friends haven't, and I just
(02:54:13):
think that they're like to me, I would do war
the roses on this guy. I would think that there's
somebody else.
Speaker 5 (02:54:19):
Bro, I would tell you that when we wasn't I
started dating that I had started dating somebody because I
was trying to keep our newness in this little protective cocoon,
just to see like, okay, I want this, do I
want this? But do you go somewhere? And then I
was like, Okay, now I can tell everybody, but you
told somebody. I guarantee you told. Oh yeah, somebody can
tell you didn't tell us because we're you know the show.
(02:54:40):
But I guarantee you told your closest friends.
Speaker 2 (02:54:42):
You're right, I did. Yeah, and maybe family like your
sister or somebody knew. But so this is this is weird.
He has not told anybody. Yeah, after a couple of
months serious to him?
Speaker 17 (02:54:53):
Huh?
Speaker 2 (02:54:53):
Is it that serious to him? Well, I could tell
you this that he looks like he enjoying every bit
of her.
Speaker 11 (02:55:02):
See.
Speaker 6 (02:55:02):
That's the thing, though, bro, because I've been in situations
before where the girl and I we were just smashed
and she would come over, we would do our thing,
we might go outside, go get a bite to eat,
hit the movies. But it's not a relationship. So it's
not gonna be something that I feel is serious enough
for me to involve other people.
Speaker 2 (02:55:16):
If you're a guy and you don't let your best
guy friends know that you met somebody, you're not into
that person.
Speaker 7 (02:55:24):
That's what I'm saying. It's not serious.
Speaker 37 (02:55:26):
Now.
Speaker 6 (02:55:26):
I can be into the person, but it doesn't mean
that I see this person as somebody I'm going to
be in a relationship with her.
Speaker 2 (02:55:33):
And if I was a girl, I would think that
that is a w I would be red flagging that
and taking this from a guy that you know has
dated but also has a lot of friends that date.
I have a lot of guy friends. I know when
they're serious about a girl when they're telling the group text,
Hey man, it went out with her, we had a
great time like stuff like that, or I don't know, bro,
(02:55:55):
I've never liked that.
Speaker 5 (02:55:56):
See, I agree with that if I know, if I
if I'm dating a guy. Hypothetically, if I'm dating a
guy and it's been two three months and he hasn't
told any of his friends about me or family, I
haven't met anybody, I'm thinking there something is very very
wrong now.
Speaker 2 (02:56:12):
And I think that if you're spending like weekends like
where you're spending the whole weekend and and I said
this to her, I said hey, like, does he take
calls when you guys are around? And he goes, no,
he's really good about like not picking up his phone
or doing stuff like we spend time together. We really
are with each other. I'm like going, Okay, guess what,
(02:56:33):
he's turning his phone off because he does a want
of people know he's got somebody over.
Speaker 7 (02:56:36):
I hold hiding.
Speaker 6 (02:56:38):
I hold my friends and my family to the highest
of standards, and everybody just not about to come around
and meet them. Some of my family members, I've only
met one person that I've dealt with literally okay. And
it's not because I was ashamed of the person or
I was hiding them. I just like, no, my family
is like they but they're gonna meet one.
Speaker 2 (02:57:00):
But have you been consistent you're solo with or you're
only with that person and you still haven't even talked,
you're with other people exactly. That's what I'm saying. I
think that she's got to be worried about. I think
she's got to be worried that there's other people.
Speaker 7 (02:57:13):
That are are we are?
Speaker 2 (02:57:14):
Do we believe that she's only dealing with him? Yes,
I know her intentions. She's she's a friend what's going on? Gina?
What do you think?
Speaker 7 (02:57:24):
Hey, Gina and Nathan, Why what's happening?
Speaker 2 (02:57:33):
Guys?
Speaker 43 (02:57:35):
So we're just in here listening.
Speaker 26 (02:57:37):
We think that it's not a red flack because what
if the family is crazy and they just get all
up in their business and try to interfere in their relationships.
Speaker 2 (02:57:47):
Yeah, but what about friends though? What about close guy buddies?
What about that? What about he hasn't told anybody, she
has not met, She has not met anybody associated with him,
even co workers, not you know what I mean? Like,
it's the only the only person that she she has
Matt is the door dash delivery guy that comes and
(02:58:08):
brings food to their house when they go over to
his playaff.
Speaker 37 (02:58:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 19 (02:58:13):
I mean maybe maybe he just wants a little privacy
and he just don't want empty in this business.
Speaker 1 (02:58:17):
Yeah, that's a DoorDash.
Speaker 6 (02:58:20):
Sometimes people rush into stuff too much and start introducing
him to everybody.
Speaker 1 (02:58:24):
Is mysel?
Speaker 7 (02:58:25):
Like, no, tak it easy, bro, slow down.
Speaker 22 (02:58:27):
I don't even know what this is.
Speaker 43 (02:58:28):
I like, what's said too about you know?
Speaker 50 (02:58:31):
Maybe it's just now I'm curious.
Speaker 2 (02:58:32):
You don't even get health assurance to you ninety days
in Why are you Melissa, do you agree that it's
not a red flag like the last callers?
Speaker 1 (02:58:42):
Oh no, it's a.
Speaker 17 (02:58:42):
Big red flag.
Speaker 23 (02:58:43):
Even my twelve year old daughter, she's the one who
texted in, thinks it's a big red flag.
Speaker 2 (02:58:48):
Oh my gosh, I like it. I like we're taking
advice from a twelve year old daughter. What's going on, Melissa, He's.
Speaker 50 (02:58:54):
Right here, so Bella say hi, hi.
Speaker 2 (02:58:57):
Bella, Bella. How do you know it's a red flag?
Are you a twelve year old that actually dates?
Speaker 5 (02:59:03):
No, my uncle is doing it right now.
Speaker 2 (02:59:05):
Oh wait, a second, hold on your uncles. Let's sell
out your uncle here a little bit. He's hiding a
girl from everybody.
Speaker 23 (02:59:13):
Yes, how do you know.
Speaker 30 (02:59:15):
Because we're still friends with her?
Speaker 2 (02:59:18):
Oh you really? Do you think that your do you
think your uncle is uh, he's got some other girls
on the side, some potential Yes? Really, Oh my god.
Speaker 16 (02:59:29):
I like this.
Speaker 2 (02:59:30):
By the way, we need to have we need to
have more twelve year old moments where they're given a
absolutely all. They're giving us all the gossip about what's
going on in their family's business. Exact Melissa, are you
are you with uh, you know a guy right now?
Or who you what do you got in your life?
Speaker 20 (02:59:52):
Uh sort of?
Speaker 32 (02:59:53):
Yeah, yes, yes I am.
Speaker 2 (02:59:54):
Did your daughter give you advice on relationships?
Speaker 30 (02:59:57):
Oh yeah, here's my bill to him best friend, and
she gives advice to you guys, just not on the
phone on the way to school every morning.
Speaker 2 (03:00:08):
Are there any red flags with mom's boyfriend?
Speaker 34 (03:00:11):
Yes?
Speaker 11 (03:00:12):
Many?
Speaker 2 (03:00:14):
Which ones are?
Speaker 15 (03:00:16):
Does she know this?
Speaker 37 (03:00:18):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (03:00:21):
Flags?
Speaker 34 (03:00:22):
The way he acts, like what specifically, just like his.
Speaker 30 (03:00:28):
Like his emotions.
Speaker 26 (03:00:29):
He's still like I don't want to explain it, but
he's back and forth, up.
Speaker 2 (03:00:36):
And down, hot and cold. Yes, this is amazing. You
think that kids don't notice stuff that goes on. They
notice everything. That's unbelievable. You guys need to call us
more often. I like that. Anaya, what's up?
Speaker 1 (03:00:48):
A Naya morning?
Speaker 12 (03:00:50):
Guys, Good morning.
Speaker 35 (03:00:51):
I say it's definitely a red flag or maybe even
yellow flag because my first date with my now boyfriend
of five years is actually with his best friend end.
Speaker 11 (03:01:01):
So it.
Speaker 20 (03:01:06):
Was more so like his best friends mean the world
to him.
Speaker 30 (03:01:09):
So if I kind of passed that test with mingling
with his friends and I was good to go.
Speaker 37 (03:01:14):
So now we're five years.
Speaker 2 (03:01:15):
Show, I agree. If you are that good, he's going
to bring everybody and want you to be around everybody
because his goal is that he wants to show you
off first day.
Speaker 23 (03:01:26):
So you could ask her though, if the guy, if
his friends are that important to where they really need
to know with.
Speaker 6 (03:01:31):
The first date with best friends. I feel like you
don't know how you know, you know, you don't know
how to operate on.
Speaker 2 (03:01:37):
Your own, but within the first within the first month
or two, you you can't wait to introduce him to
your family unless your family is like Shannon's family and
they're embarrassing, and then you don't want to personally. What's
up tivity high?
Speaker 23 (03:01:53):
Yeah, I think it's the red flag. I kind of
feel dumb. But I dated a guy for six years
and never met any of his friends or coworker.
Speaker 2 (03:02:03):
Yeah, why why was he keeping you a secret?
Speaker 23 (03:02:08):
Well, he was cheating the whole entire time, But he
was cheating with coworkers and he was a er nurse,
but they cheated within the whole entire you know, working industry.
But I've heard, yeah, I met his family, but yeah,
I never met any of his coworkers or friends.
Speaker 2 (03:02:27):
Yeah, that's I'm telling you. I think this is maybe
not going to go. Six years before he introduces. But
I think that there is something to this relationship not
introducing to people that you supposedly care about, including your
best friend. Has he had a lot of failed relationships.
Speaker 7 (03:02:45):
I don't know. I don't know this story.
Speaker 6 (03:02:48):
Maybe he's like, I don't want to just keep introducing people.
I want to make sure this is someone that will
last and then I'll introduce.
Speaker 2 (03:02:54):
Or maybe you're the embarrassing friend.
Speaker 12 (03:02:56):
I'm not.
Speaker 2 (03:02:56):
I'm actually not. I'm friends with We're friends with her.
So that's why I'm bring it up, you know, because
I think that there's definitely something to be said about that.
But thank you for the caller, appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (03:03:08):
In the next fifteen minutes. You'll hear about this on
Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (03:03:11):
All right. I cannot believe how many people actually sided
with this guy this morning on second Date update when
he got called out for stuff that he has in
his room, the things that he has in his room,
I thought we were kind of embarrassing. We'll be right
back with that Second Date update next.
Speaker 24 (03:03:30):
I had the Mojo in the Morning show to your
appreciate on our free iHeartRadio app and.
Speaker 4 (03:03:35):
Never missed the show.
Speaker 24 (03:03:38):
Damn, it's already that time of year when I have
to wake the least in the minor neighbors yard.
Speaker 2 (03:03:45):
This is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (03:03:47):
It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (03:03:50):
We're gonna find out why you're not getting a call back.
AJ thought things went great, especially because she ended up
staying with him at his house. She slept over and
and did you guys fool around?
Speaker 17 (03:04:01):
A J?
Speaker 2 (03:04:05):
A J?
Speaker 25 (03:04:08):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (03:04:08):
There you are a J. Did you guys? Did you
guys mess around?
Speaker 37 (03:04:13):
Oh?
Speaker 21 (03:04:13):
Yeah, we we totally hooked up.
Speaker 2 (03:04:15):
Okay and that was it. Nothing afterwards, like you, did
you guys make plans to go on another date with
each other?
Speaker 34 (03:04:24):
Uh?
Speaker 50 (03:04:24):
Now?
Speaker 21 (03:04:25):
But I texted her I wanted to and uh respond.
Speaker 2 (03:04:29):
Okay, we're gonna find out what's going on. Brin is
on the phone with us right now. Second date update, Brin, Hi,
good morning.
Speaker 44 (03:04:38):
Hello, how are you?
Speaker 17 (03:04:39):
A J?
Speaker 2 (03:04:40):
Say hi to Brin?
Speaker 21 (03:04:42):
Hey, how you doing?
Speaker 13 (03:04:47):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (03:04:48):
I'm good?
Speaker 9 (03:04:49):
How are you?
Speaker 16 (03:04:52):
I'm like?
Speaker 2 (03:04:54):
Brand?
Speaker 7 (03:04:54):
What Brand? What's up?
Speaker 2 (03:04:55):
Did you have a good time?
Speaker 51 (03:04:59):
And actually, yeah, I had a good time.
Speaker 16 (03:05:01):
Yeah, it was fine.
Speaker 34 (03:05:03):
It was good.
Speaker 2 (03:05:04):
So obviously the date was you guys went out and
then you went back and hung out with AJ at
his house. What was the part of the date that
turned and where did you get to a point where
you decided that you weren't necessarily into AJ?
Speaker 51 (03:05:25):
I mean, he just he has like it's like a
bunch of stuffed animals, like in his bedroom and like
in his bed.
Speaker 23 (03:05:36):
So it was kind of kind of cringe.
Speaker 2 (03:05:39):
Wait to say your hold on saying he has stuffed
animals in his bedroom and in his bed. How old
are you? AJ? Don't that.
Speaker 21 (03:05:48):
Priceless?
Speaker 2 (03:05:49):
You're twenty six years old?
Speaker 7 (03:05:51):
Are they on shelves?
Speaker 3 (03:05:52):
Like?
Speaker 7 (03:05:52):
Is it more like a collectible thing?
Speaker 9 (03:05:58):
It didn't mean that way to me.
Speaker 7 (03:06:01):
What do you got?
Speaker 21 (03:06:02):
You got a couple of stuff?
Speaker 47 (03:06:04):
Got a couple of stuffed animals on my bed. I
got like some light sabers like on the wall. I
got a Hot Wheels collection, and I got a couple
of Disney things.
Speaker 2 (03:06:14):
So do you live by yourself a J or do
you live with your family?
Speaker 11 (03:06:19):
Or what do?
Speaker 2 (03:06:20):
Where do you what's your living arrangements?
Speaker 21 (03:06:24):
I got some housemates? You got the roommates?
Speaker 2 (03:06:26):
Like, so this is all stuff that it's not like
this is your childhood bedroom and you had this in
your room? You you actually have this stuff in your
room as a twenty six year old guy.
Speaker 21 (03:06:40):
Yeah, I mean I like it, but it's my stuff
that that was a kid.
Speaker 17 (03:06:45):
You know.
Speaker 23 (03:06:46):
M Yeah, that's like really weird.
Speaker 11 (03:06:50):
It was.
Speaker 5 (03:06:50):
It was most of it's from when you were a kid.
Are you still buying like some of the lightsabers?
Speaker 21 (03:06:56):
And uh, they like a lightsaber, I'm like saber a
couple of years ago.
Speaker 2 (03:07:01):
But that's it.
Speaker 29 (03:07:02):
Everything else is okay.
Speaker 7 (03:07:03):
That man could Yeah, I don't think this is weird.
Speaker 10 (03:07:06):
Kevin came over the other day and I had a
wand out, like I just think people have a Harry
Potter wand yeah, really I don't know.
Speaker 9 (03:07:14):
I think it's one thing to have, like a wand
that's fine. I'm a Harry Potter fan too, But like
to have a bunch of life light light life saber
or whatever they're called some Star Wars a bunch of
stuffed animals.
Speaker 23 (03:07:28):
It's just like weird, Like you're an adult, I don't.
Speaker 1 (03:07:30):
Know, to be honest, I found it weird.
Speaker 2 (03:07:32):
I find this to be weird too, and I think
it's weird. My son, you know, Joe is a big
Star Wars guy, and if you go to his apartment
and I don't know how Alyssa deals with this his
fiance deals with this stuff. But he has like lightsabers,
and he's got like a Darth Vader mask and all
this stuff that's around. That's cool. The stuffed animal part
(03:07:54):
is the part that kind of weirds me a little bit.
Like you have stuffed animals. I mean, I get if
you still have your stuffed animal for when you're a kid,
but maybe that's on a shelf or something like that.
What about the hot I think it's for me. It's
just all of the things together.
Speaker 5 (03:08:09):
That's the wheels, the stuffies, the lightsabers, the.
Speaker 34 (03:08:14):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:08:15):
I think I'd probably be thinking a certain way.
Speaker 6 (03:08:18):
The thing that I respect, though, is like, these are
things that make him who he is. These are things
that speak to his interest, his personality, and these are
things that make him feel like himself.
Speaker 2 (03:08:28):
What do you have in yours?
Speaker 9 (03:08:33):
He didn't, and so that's why I'm not calling him back.
Speaker 7 (03:08:36):
So I got a.
Speaker 2 (03:08:37):
Buddy that's not in my bedroom though, that's the only
part I'm kind of like.
Speaker 6 (03:08:41):
But if he lives with more people than he doesn't
have an area where he can put his stuff on display.
Speaker 2 (03:08:45):
Kevin, what do you have, though, I want to know
what you have. I have one plushy.
Speaker 6 (03:08:49):
It's from a guy who's in Chicago named Relo. It's Ozzie,
which is the original makeup of Mickey Mouse. A lot
of people don't know. Mickey Mouse is the second version.
Ozzy is the first.
Speaker 13 (03:08:58):
I have that.
Speaker 6 (03:09:00):
I got a few funk O pops I got, I
got a bunch of stuff. I got art, I got posters,
I got a bunch of stuff.
Speaker 5 (03:09:06):
Okay, all right, any girls, But I think it's okay
for her to go I'm just like this hobby. I
don't this is like not my thing, just as I
would if you know, I walked into somebody's house and
they were hunters and had a bunch of heads tax
(03:09:27):
me like, I'd walk in and go, Okay, this is
cool for you to do.
Speaker 2 (03:09:30):
It's not my thing. What would you rather a bunch
of deer heads around or a guy with the stuffed animals? Honestly,
the stuffed animals?
Speaker 1 (03:09:38):
Really?
Speaker 2 (03:09:39):
Yeah, the hunting like really gets me. What's up? Michelle High, Hi,
good morning morning.
Speaker 46 (03:09:46):
I think I think he's just a nerd.
Speaker 13 (03:09:48):
And if that's not what she's into, then all she
got to say is you know, I'm not nerdy like that,
and onto the next one. You know who cares nerds
are nerds?
Speaker 32 (03:09:58):
I mean I'm a nerd, so I get it.
Speaker 45 (03:10:00):
Like, let the man love what he loves and someone.
Speaker 1 (03:10:02):
Will love him for that.
Speaker 7 (03:10:03):
Amen.
Speaker 2 (03:10:04):
Hey, real quick, though, Brin, did you have to move
the stuffed animals or did he have to move the
stuffed animals in order to get on the bed with him?
Speaker 16 (03:10:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (03:10:12):
Like they they're like in some of them are in
front of his pillow like they had places. It was
as if he like touched them in properly.
Speaker 2 (03:10:21):
I could kind of move them off your side so
they don't get in the way. What's up by you doing? Aaron?
Speaker 34 (03:10:27):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (03:10:27):
How are you doing?
Speaker 2 (03:10:28):
Okay? Brin's got a problem with AJ's toys? What's up?
Speaker 41 (03:10:34):
I feel like if it's like publicly displayed where like
company can see it and things like that, it gets
a bit cringey. I feel like there should be like
a dedicated room, just like with the taxidermy and things
like that. My stepfather does that and he has like
a special room towards like, Hey, if you're interested, I
can show.
Speaker 2 (03:10:50):
You the room with the dead animals. Would you wear
but honestly, maybe put him in an a counter or
put him on in a drawer or I don't know,
I'm not high to who I am.
Speaker 7 (03:11:05):
What's up, Josh? What's going on?
Speaker 31 (03:11:07):
Josh?
Speaker 1 (03:11:09):
How's it going?
Speaker 16 (03:11:09):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (03:11:10):
It's going? Okay? What are your thoughts on this one?
What do you think of BRN not wanting to go
on another date with aj?
Speaker 48 (03:11:17):
I mean, you know, I don't think it's any It's
any different than a woman having, you know, fifty pairs
of shoes in their closet are all over really a
thousand bottles of perfume, you know. I mean, like, I'm
forty years old, I collect hot wheel tars of my
eight year old, So I do get what he's saying.
Speaker 2 (03:11:37):
I mean, I think I think the equivalent would be,
you know, guys having a bunch of I don't know,
like like, I don't know, would you would you feel
weird if if you walked into a guy's room and
he had like Steve Eiserman posters all over his wall
or had like a yes, like yeah about skateboard dicks,
(03:11:58):
Like well you skateboard like the actual that's like a
design thing. I think that's cool. Okay, what about uh
what about the stuffed animals is the weirdest one. What
if the guy had a live, a live like doll
in his room, like a live doll, like you know,
(03:12:19):
like one of those uh, one of those dollar dolls
like sex dolls, like I would I would run. That
would be were that would not That would be a
big for me. You'd rather have him have like teddy
bears and stuff. Actually, yeah, really, Christina, what do you
think about this?
Speaker 5 (03:12:32):
I don't even that is.
Speaker 16 (03:12:35):
Chris.
Speaker 2 (03:12:35):
What's up Christina?
Speaker 16 (03:12:37):
Hey, good morning, good morning.
Speaker 35 (03:12:42):
So my fiance she has a Snuggie And the first
time she came to Michigan because she's from Ohio.
Speaker 37 (03:12:51):
To stay with me when we were first dating, she
brought it out of her book bag and I was like,
what's that?
Speaker 34 (03:12:57):
And it is a raggedy blanket.
Speaker 37 (03:13:00):
Yeah, and she will not go anywhere without that.
Speaker 34 (03:13:04):
She took it on our first trip.
Speaker 35 (03:13:06):
She took it to Vegas.
Speaker 37 (03:13:08):
If we forget it, if we're visiting her family, we
have to turn around.
Speaker 16 (03:13:12):
And go get it.
Speaker 2 (03:13:13):
That's interesting. That's a totally different story. That's like the
kid's blanky that he loses.
Speaker 11 (03:13:17):
You know.
Speaker 37 (03:13:18):
So yes, and what's crazy is her two brothers who
are in their mid twenties, same exact situation. They won't
go anywhere without it. If a girlfriend has a problem
with it, they're like, sorry about it. This is me,
This is my snuggie.
Speaker 35 (03:13:31):
You can't take it from me.
Speaker 2 (03:13:32):
Wow, there's a snuggy family. To each his own right.
Everybody's got their own thing. I'm not gonna yuck somebody's
youm or something. I don't know. You know that phrase
saying yes, listen, you're using it right. I'm a little
yucked with the yums of the the idea of the
guy with stuffed animals. I think the stuffed animals is
(03:13:52):
a little too much. But Kevin, what's going on? Listener?
Speaker 16 (03:13:55):
Kevin?
Speaker 1 (03:13:55):
Hi, Hey, first time, long time.
Speaker 7 (03:13:57):
Hey, Kevin's on the phone. Finally something for you to
call in for.
Speaker 2 (03:14:01):
What's going on?
Speaker 14 (03:14:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:14:03):
Literally?
Speaker 23 (03:14:03):
Okay.
Speaker 44 (03:14:04):
So I'm twenty nine and I have thousands of dollars
worth of like collectible plushies, gun dums, anime collectibles, coasters,
you name it, pokemon, you gil whatever, it is, all right.
Speaker 29 (03:14:16):
I have so many hot women asking me about my stuff.
Speaker 1 (03:14:21):
Really, it's crazy.
Speaker 44 (03:14:22):
Really, dude, you'll understand how many people are actually into this.
Speaker 2 (03:14:26):
You get laid because of your plushies.
Speaker 44 (03:14:29):
Because of everything, dude, I'm serious.
Speaker 1 (03:14:32):
It's a tall concept.
Speaker 2 (03:14:34):
Interesting.
Speaker 29 (03:14:34):
Just because the dude has it on his bed doesn't
mean anything.
Speaker 2 (03:14:38):
Okay, she's still smashed. So so you're saying that aj
should use this to get girls because it's worked for you, Kevin,
Did I lose you? Kevin right now is buried underneath
his plushies and he cannot talk anymore.
Speaker 34 (03:14:53):
I just feel like that's a special case.
Speaker 2 (03:14:56):
I don't know. Yeah, bring your not actually, Okaya, where
did you go? Did you have to stand it? Do
you have to grab another call while we were talking?
Or what was the story there?
Speaker 29 (03:15:05):
No, I'm I'm driving to work.
Speaker 2 (03:15:07):
Okay. All right, So Kevin says, Aja, you stay strong,
this will get you girls.
Speaker 7 (03:15:13):
It works for him.
Speaker 2 (03:15:16):
Do you guys go to They're So Cool? Do you
go to any anime or where do you?
Speaker 7 (03:15:22):
Comic cons go to a lot of Yeah.
Speaker 21 (03:15:24):
I go to comic cons.
Speaker 50 (03:15:25):
I go to a lot of collectible.
Speaker 29 (03:15:28):
Expos and everything like that.
Speaker 22 (03:15:30):
Oh, it's.
Speaker 12 (03:15:33):
A part of your child.
Speaker 44 (03:15:38):
When you're an adult.
Speaker 2 (03:15:38):
Don't shame him for his interest, all right, don't we
actually don't we all want to go over to Kevin's
house and hang out with his bro his skateboards and
his plus He's skateboard, Al Green skateboard and Marvin Gaye skateboard.
All right, Kevin, Kevin, you're invited to Kevin's house. We're
all going over.
Speaker 4 (03:15:56):

date update and more of than Roses.
Speaker 2 (03:16:02):
This is Mojo in the morning. All right, That does
it for today. We are back tomorrow for more Mojo
in the morning. Go Tigers, Let's go. Come on. Cav's
dying his hair orange tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (03:16:14):

and West Michigan.
Speaker 11 (03:16:20):
It's Mojo in the Morning.
