Speaker 5 (01:25):
Newest member of the show, Anna Rob is with us
here today. I'm done charing for you, though by this
day already you've already filled out your insurance packet. You're
now officially a long time or here or so. But
I'm happy that you're here, and I'm happy that listeners
are going to get a chance to get to know
her a little bit more. And you had something happened
to you yesterday. That is so wild. You actually had

(01:47):
a dad? Yep, openly knew he was a dad because
his kids were there. Do something yesterday that you were
a little taken back by.

Speaker 7 (01:55):
So I was walking around downtown Detroit, shocking, and a
man was passing by me. He was attractive too, but
he had three kids with him, like trailing behind him,
probably ages five to ten. And before we got super close,
he sort of said, you're the most beautiful woman I've

(02:18):
ever seen. And I just acknowledged him, like thank you.
That was nice, And then he said can I get
your number? As we got closer. Now, I'm not against
dating a guy with kids, but something about the kids
being there and all like looking.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Up at say yes to our daddy?

Speaker 8 (02:36):
Wrong like I did?

Speaker 9 (02:38):
They did?

Speaker 4 (02:39):
The kids stop and look at you? And I wonder
what why their dad was.

Speaker 8 (02:41):
Stopping and I did.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
I gave him my number because I felt like I
had this pressure from I'm not going to say that
I want to go out with him.

Speaker 8 (02:51):
You did you want to say no to him in
front of k exactly?

Speaker 7 (02:54):
So like Kevin, would you would you do that if
you had Josiah with you?

Speaker 4 (02:58):
Typically?

Speaker 10 (02:59):
Not is that I'm out and I see somebody and
I feel inclined to like go up and get a
number or present that type of thing. But if I
do feel inclined, and yeah, I liked.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
The bold move. It was just the kids just put
me off.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
Do you know for a fact that they're his kids,
and that's some kids he kidnapped to go out and pick.

Speaker 4 (03:19):
Women up on the streets. And that's what we used
to have a guy.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
We used to have a guy on our show, God
Love Him Slim that used to always ask Shannon if
he could take Lucy and Smith and Chance dogs to
the park.

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yeah, that's bait.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
Could be nephew's nieces, who knows. Yeah, it was just
it was a bit much for me.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Have you ever dated a dad? Have you ever dated
somebody with kids?

Speaker 8 (03:41):
I haven't.

Speaker 7 (03:42):
I'm not opposed to it though, Like I'm twenty nine. Yeah,
I feel like I could be a mom.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
It's can I tell you The funniest thing is you
turn this topic in and we get, you know, topics.
Every single night we always do our diaries of what
happened to us during the day. We were driving home
from the event that I was at last night and
Bionca was like, coming up with some topics for what
happened to her. Bianca had a similar thing happened to
her at the event that we were at yesterday, Beyonce,

(04:10):
you were getting kind of flirted with by a guy
and his kids were there too.

Speaker 11 (04:16):
Dude, this was actually wild. Literally the second we got there,
I could just see him. I meet the entire time.
This man's like sixty though, like he's a little a
lot of my age range and.

Speaker 12 (04:25):
Lit his daughter was my age.

Speaker 11 (04:27):
I was trying to talk to the daughter and stuff,
and this dad is like, you just look so beautiful tonight.
That dress looks amazing on you, calling me his wife.

Speaker 5 (04:36):
Maybe well, okay, I didn't know that. Maybe maybe he was,
you know, feeling paternal at that time, but he was
calling you I paternal.

Speaker 11 (04:47):
I don't think she really even noticed or she was
trying to ignore that fact. But I sat next to
Mojo and he's like, Mojo, I want her sitting next
to me.

Speaker 5 (04:56):
Was going on, Yeah, okay, it was that dress. I'm
telling you, you watch out of that drive in that
dress on you. So question, are there any single dads
or single moms that have ever asked somebody for their
phone number and have you ever done it in front
of your kids? Like, would you ever do it in
front of your kids?

Speaker 3 (05:13):
I feel like Josiah would roast you if you did.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
I feel like Josiah would take notes.

Speaker 13 (05:19):
No, he would have comments about the girl, like you
should or should not go out with him.

Speaker 10 (05:25):
You will for sure say something. He would definitely have
something to say. Honestly, does he ever get jealous.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
Of other women?

Speaker 14 (05:31):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:31):
I don't typically bring women around, Josiah.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
I like to keep that extremely so your last relationship
was pretty much the last one you'd bring around.

Speaker 10 (05:39):
For sure, And I wouldn't bring anybody else around unless
it was like something extremely serious.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
That's another thing I was thinking of, is like, how
how often is he just willing to sure bring girls
in front of the kids if he's doing this to me.

Speaker 5 (05:52):
So I have to tell you that the guy that's
doing this out on the streets that happened to Anna
and going out on the streets. It's interesting because I
would judge him based on how he was treating his kids,
because it was you said something and maybe it's just
how you're describing the story, but his kids are trailing along,
he was paying more attention to you than he was

(06:13):
paying attention to. Do you have two kids or how
many kids? Three kids? Then his three kids, and I'd
be looking at him, going, this guy's a bad dad.
As a as a parent, I'd be, you know, looking
at that. How you gonna take care of me? You
need to take care of your keys?

Speaker 7 (06:27):
Right, exactly like he was taking care of himself though,
because he looked nice.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Really so he's dressed up and looking at How old
of a guy is this?

Speaker 4 (06:37):
Probably with five six year old kids looked like thirties? Really?

Speaker 8 (06:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Have you ever dated? Because you were talking about this,
you're dating dating parent?

Speaker 15 (06:45):
What?

Speaker 4 (06:45):
What?

Speaker 16 (06:45):
What?

Speaker 5 (06:45):
I don't even know what your age range is as
far as guys are concerned.

Speaker 7 (06:48):
I don't know what my age range is, to be honest,
was a still younger?

Speaker 17 (06:53):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (06:54):
I think I typically go older.

Speaker 7 (06:56):
But the one long term relationship I was in in
high school, he was three years younger than me.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
Okay, yeah, but that's high school. Yeah, high school?

Speaker 4 (07:05):
What's the date range on the tender right now?

Speaker 8 (07:07):
I don't have tender? Really, no no dating apps?

Speaker 4 (07:11):
You got you got daddy do me?

Speaker 5 (07:13):
That's a that's a new app that's out there for
for girls that have daddy issues that come up with
I don't know, because not that I know of it.
But what's going on?

Speaker 4 (07:23):
Hi? Go on, what's happening? Hi?

Speaker 18 (07:26):
Hi there?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
What's going on?

Speaker 19 (07:28):
Just on the share story, it was I've been divorced
a couple of years now and I haven't dated at all,
and it.

Speaker 20 (07:33):
Was my birthday.

Speaker 19 (07:34):
I took my kids to Habachi for my birthday and
they sat us at a table with a single dad
and his two sons, and we were bantering back.

Speaker 21 (07:41):
And forth a little bit.

Speaker 19 (07:41):
There was like a little bit of flirting, and I
could tell that there was like some what of an attraction.
So I didn't want to give my number in front
of my kids obviously and put his kids in uncomfortable positions.

Speaker 22 (07:50):
So took my kids to the car and I said,
oh shoot, I forgot to tip the waiter.

Speaker 19 (07:54):
So I wrote my number down on a piece of
paper and slipped it to him, and we like bantered
back and forth ever since.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
That heard.

Speaker 4 (08:06):
By the way, Haibachi is the greatest place ever to go.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
So you got to keep us updated.

Speaker 20 (08:11):
Now.

Speaker 3 (08:11):
I'm invested, I know.

Speaker 23 (08:13):
So we've been.

Speaker 24 (08:14):
It's just a little bit here and there, it's.

Speaker 19 (08:15):
Obviously like I'm new with this, like getting seen again
after I've been married for so long.

Speaker 25 (08:19):
But it was just like a cute little story.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
So for you for doing that, for going back in
and giving him your number.

Speaker 5 (08:25):
Yeah, I mean that's I for that. What's up, Ashley High,
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 26 (08:30):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning?

Speaker 4 (08:32):
What's happening?

Speaker 27 (08:33):
I was actually called because man tried to talk to
me all the time when I'm out with my children.
But it depends on the ages of the children that
they feel comfortable. Because when I'm with my six year
old and my three year old, they will walk right
up to me, but when that sixteen year old boy
is with me.

Speaker 25 (08:48):
They do not.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Is your sixteen year old? Is your sixteen year old
protective of you?

Speaker 25 (08:56):
He's just looking at him like please, he said.

Speaker 27 (08:58):
My mom's so tired of it.

Speaker 10 (09:00):
Yeah, I don't want that drama. Actually must be cold though,
that's what it is.

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Are you actually they see you in the legs?

Speaker 15 (09:09):
Wait?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Wait, what's happening, Heather?

Speaker 9 (09:15):
How you doing great?

Speaker 28 (09:17):
Bianca?

Speaker 29 (09:18):
Was that six year old man a doctor?

Speaker 4 (09:20):
Oh no, don't do it.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
Wait say are you saying if he was a doctor
at the event that we were at that she should
actually go for it.

Speaker 30 (09:28):
Yeah, my best friend just married a doctor and now
she lives in a million dollar house.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
Oh wait, where does it not go? Digger radio? Look
at for her sugar daddy, y'all? Where did she meet
the doctor? Heather?

Speaker 31 (09:40):
She worked in the hospital and he worked in the hospital.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Wow, that's that's crazy. That's interesting, by the way. Uh, now, Bianca,
you mean hanging out at henry Ford Hospital, Michigan medicine
stuff like that. Now, she doesn't want any of that.
You don't want any of that to you.

Speaker 12 (09:56):
Be he wasn't really my type.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
Ready to say, go blue nut? Hold on, Jody, what's up? Jody?

Speaker 16 (10:06):
Morning?

Speaker 7 (10:07):
Guys.

Speaker 4 (10:07):
Morning.

Speaker 32 (10:08):
So I'm sure you guys have heard the term milk
Dads with kids can.

Speaker 33 (10:13):
Be a jilt.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
There you go, yes, yeah, what do you what do
you think of? Should uh? Maybe we try to call
this dad today and give Anna a shot with him,
do a little second date update on him.

Speaker 16 (10:27):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (10:28):
Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
Let's dial him up. Hey, and then I'll act. I'll
act like I'm your husband. I'll say, hey, you met
my wife on the street yesterday, and I've got this
phone number that's right now in her pant pocket.

Speaker 4 (10:41):
Uh, what's going on? H keanu, what's happening?

Speaker 22 (10:45):
Hi?

Speaker 34 (10:46):
So I was a single mother to my daughter who's
almost five, for the longest time, and I swear so
many guys used to come up and try to like
hit on me or ask for my number while I
was like playing at the park with her, and it
would be like scary.

Speaker 29 (11:00):
Sometimes I just did not like it when guys would
do that.

Speaker 5 (11:03):
They must have been ugly, because if they were good looking,
you would have been fine with it.

Speaker 34 (11:06):
Come on, no, it's so scary, especially like being alone
like random.

Speaker 5 (11:12):
God, I get it. No, I listen, I do get it.
I will tell you that it probably gets that. She
must be hot too, by the.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Way I get it.

Speaker 13 (11:20):
But at the same time, there is something so attractive
about like parents who are when you see them interacting
with their kids.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, at least to me.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
Well, man, you see a guy that is a good
dad too, Like that's another one of those things.

Speaker 35 (11:35):
But shut up to the person in the office who
put more thought into their Halloween costumes than their actual
life choices.

Speaker 4 (11:42):
Happy Halloween from Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
It's time for more Mojo mojo in the morning.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
All Right, I'm quick to get to this topic because
I quick want to get to calls. I want to
know how this happens. Has anybody ever been attacked by
a deer while they've gone on a walk, because yesterday, yesterday,
I went on on a walk and I'm listen, I'm
trying to get a little exercise. Okay, I'm trying to
see what I can do to lose weight. And so
I go on a walk and this is in my neighborhood.

(12:13):
And you walk through West Bloomfield, Michigan, You're going to
be faced with all kinds of craziness you will run across.
Ready for this, Turkeys, raccoons, squirrels.

Speaker 4 (12:25):
Gear geez geeze.

Speaker 3 (12:27):
We have an angry goose in our neighborhood.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Chaldeans, I mean, they're everywhere.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
And here's the craziest.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
Yesterday I went for a walk and as I am walking,
I had a deer and it's family, because there was
at least four to five of them stare me in
the eyes with these beady eyes and look like they
wanted to eat me. It got to a point where
I literally sat there thinking to myself that I am
going to die right here in the west Bloomfield.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Say when you were beating, beginning with aby feet.

Speaker 35 (13:01):
When you sing, you begin with dough rayy Dora, do
ray me the first.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
Three yeah, dorain me my ass. It was eat me,
That's what it was. It was, I'm gonna eat this
fat guy because we can't find enough vegetation to eat
on the side of the road. Has anybody ever been
attacked by a deer? And I saw the story recently
about a guy that was driving his motorcycle and ann
arbor and.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Got killed by a deer.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
That's such a sad story. He's like a twenty year
old kid.

Speaker 10 (13:31):
Did it like running a side of him or was
it like a head on collision?

Speaker 5 (13:34):
I think it jumped out of nowhere, and when it
did it, it knocked him off his bike and he
ended up dying.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Yeah, A long long way to ride.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
Yeah, go forget.

Speaker 10 (13:42):
When you pop out in the street and you see
these deers, do you just like stand there and freeze?

Speaker 5 (13:48):
By the way, I think the plural of its deers
is deer. I don't know, but deers because they were
they were deers with ears and they were like, you
know how when your ears point up or like kind
of like kind of look at you, like when they're
kind of like looking kind of crazy. Man that and
one of them had like antlers already.

Speaker 13 (14:08):
Oh, I walk right up to them when I see them.
You do I love deer?

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Yes? And what do you do?

Speaker 3 (14:14):
I try to talk to them and pedal.

Speaker 13 (14:17):
Okay, Okay, you're gonna think I'm crazy when I say this,
and I totally understand that I am. I always think
that deer are a sign that my grandma, my grandma
Grace is around me so and like giving me some
sort of like sign about something happening in my life.
So when I see them, I know it's not, but
I try to walk up to them.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
It's like a big I get very emotional.

Speaker 8 (14:37):
What about when you see them on the side of
the road.

Speaker 13 (14:38):
I get so sad. I have to look away. I'm
not talking, And when people tell me they hunt, I
just can't.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Yeah, I can't.

Speaker 5 (14:47):
I'm going to tell you that these deer were not
your grandma Grace. These deer were the devil, and they
were looking at me.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
I could.

Speaker 5 (14:54):
Usually deer are pretty and there's always baby what are
they fawn?

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Or yes, no, that's that's I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
I'm not up on my deer vocabulary. The little cute ones,
there's a lot of baby ones hot.

Speaker 8 (15:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (15:07):
I don't know if they're birthing over at Corwell Health
or something by my house or what the story is.
But these guys, there's more little baby deer these days.
And I think that what it was was the mama
dear papa deer were protecting the baby deer. And I
think that the baby deer was the one that was
trying to be friendly with me, and I was trying
to get away from the baby deer. I want nothing.
I'm like, I'm not your father, Stay away from me.

(15:29):
What's up, Dakota, how you doing?

Speaker 15 (15:32):
Hey guys, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
I almost got killed by a deer yesterday, Dakota. Has
this ever happened to you?

Speaker 15 (15:39):
Yeah, last July the twenty seventh to twenty four, I
was coming home on my motorcycle doing about seventy five
eighty and had a deer run out on me and
a curve.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Dude.

Speaker 15 (15:50):
I didn't walk for eight months and broke almost every
bone on the right side of my body.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
Oh my gosh, I don't know where you were, but
I would never drive on ninety six my ankle.

Speaker 4 (15:59):
Oh no.

Speaker 15 (16:00):
I was actually in New Wago, north of Grand Rapid.
See when you're enough that they wanted to life light me?

Speaker 4 (16:06):
Oh go.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
When what did people stop for you to to save you?

Speaker 4 (16:12):
Or how did how did they did? Did you get help?

Speaker 15 (16:17):
Uh? So I was kind of out in the middle
of nowhere. Luckily some guy pulled up. I couldn't find
my phone. So luckily some guy pulled up and was
able to call nine one one and get.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
People out there.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
God, that's amazing that you're alive, and thank God for that.
What a horrible situation.

Speaker 36 (16:32):
It's a blessing.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
Think about this.

Speaker 5 (16:34):
When you're driving on a motorcycle or in a convertible,
that thing gonna fly up and nail you right in
the head.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
What's up, Kelsey?

Speaker 31 (16:45):
Oh hey, no Joe, how you doing good?

Speaker 24 (16:55):
My mom was actually attacked by a deer.

Speaker 30 (16:57):
They live out in.

Speaker 24 (16:58):
Commerce and they were.

Speaker 37 (16:59):
On a walk with the dog and all of a.

Speaker 31 (17:01):
Sudden, a mama deer came out and kicked my mom.

Speaker 5 (17:04):
I think the same deer. I swear to you, I
live not that far from there. It's craziness. It came
out and kicked her out of nowhere.

Speaker 38 (17:14):
Yes, yep, yep.

Speaker 24 (17:15):
They thought that she, I guess, got.

Speaker 31 (17:17):
Too close to the babies, even though they were on
a walking trail and the deer were in the woods.

Speaker 5 (17:21):
It's protected, I'm telling it is. I am concealed, carrying
on my next walk. I got to I got to
protect myself. It looks like a blind shooter. I'll get something.
What's out, Delizament? How you doing?

Speaker 39 (17:38):
Hi?

Speaker 40 (17:38):
Good morning.

Speaker 29 (17:38):
I was in my very own backyard in Birmingham with
my dog, standing about two feet from my dog, and
the deer came over the fence.

Speaker 41 (17:46):
At us and tried to pound on my dog started
jumping me.

Speaker 29 (17:53):
I think it had a baby in the in the
yard next door.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
But still, I mean, you're telling us that a deer
tried to mount your dog. That would have been the
most amazing.

Speaker 14 (18:05):
Like that.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Did you say, did you say get a room at
the townsend? Damn it?

Speaker 5 (18:11):
What's going on? That's craziness, Elizabeth, that's wild.

Speaker 4 (18:17):
Hold on.

Speaker 5 (18:18):
Pamela was camping and what happened? Pamela?

Speaker 38 (18:25):
Okay, good morning.

Speaker 37 (18:28):
My family and I were camping and one night I
was really super sick, and so I got up and
I was going to go to the campground bathroom to
be sick. And I'm walking kind of just like with
my head down and just walking towards the bathroom, and
all of a sudden, I look up and I am
in between this mama deer and a baby deer. I
didn't know that they put feeders out at night and

(18:50):
sed the deer at this campground. And I thought, oh,
do deer charge? And I was like, I'm going to die,
and I happened to look up. I looked up at
the mama deer first, because I was in between her
and her baby, and I thought, you know, because bears
they say, well charge, will you know killed you? It's
between a baby and pump. So I'm thinking, okay, I'm

(19:12):
fixing and die. Oh, well, this is how I end.
But I've looked up at the mama deer, and I
of course in my mind they were five feet around,
you know. And but anyway, I hear this, oh, and
I'm thinking, okay, this is how I go out. And
but then I was thinking, okay, well I'm just gonna
have to die because I'm sick. I got to go,

(19:34):
and it's like took off running and then the deer scattered.

Speaker 42 (19:37):
But I thought for sure.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
I was going to die.

Speaker 5 (19:39):
I thought for sure that you were going to say
that the deer started talking to you.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
And that's when, like, I'm waiting for this story.

Speaker 5 (19:46):
I'm like waiting for the climax of the story, and
I'm going this is unbelievable, and there was no climax.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
You just threw up that was it?

Speaker 37 (19:54):
Yes, yes, yes, But at the same time I learned
that night.

Speaker 24 (19:59):
Ye, they're not going to charge at me.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Okay, we're not.

Speaker 29 (20:02):
They were.

Speaker 37 (20:02):
They were kind of docile there.

Speaker 4 (20:04):
They were just as scared as you probably were. Tina,
what's up? Tina?

Speaker 37 (20:10):
I won't show I love you, guys, da queen, queen?

Speaker 4 (20:15):
What are you talking about?

Speaker 38 (20:18):
I could just picture you screaming and running around, running
away like little girl like how like how Selfie always says,
remember there's the truth, and then there's Tina.

Speaker 9 (20:32):
Gosh, Tin, I'm the same as Shannon.

Speaker 37 (20:35):
Well, my grandma's not my dear, but I love I can't.

Speaker 38 (20:40):
I can't handle the hunting, the shooting, Like it's just.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
No, no, no, no, we gotta kill more of these
damn things otherwise they're going to overtake us.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
I'm telling you don't.

Speaker 5 (20:51):
If we don't start killing these deer, we're we're going
to be running away from our our houses are gonna
get taken by them.

Speaker 4 (20:57):
I'm serious.

Speaker 43 (20:59):
So killing the.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
Whole idea is to you know, get rid of the
herd or whatever. I don't know what the heck it is.
That's the reason why they want the dare have come
down to our neighborhoods because there were not killing enough
of them.

Speaker 10 (21:13):
No, that's because we keep chopping down a neighborhood. We
need to That's what the problem is. We need to
chop I'm gonna bring them to Detroit. I'm bringing a
dear to Eastern Market. We got enough animals.

Speaker 35 (21:26):
Big time Hall of Famer now, huh you got into
the Hall of Fame, O Joe, will you be able
to get your big fat head through the door now, Congress.

Speaker 4 (21:34):
Buddy Shinnon and can't go on the play date?

Speaker 13 (21:39):
Well, I don't know how other parents feel about this
or deal with this. You guys know, I'm really protective
of my kids, Lucy and Smith when it comes to sleepovers.
For one, we don't even do sleepovers still at this point,
sixth grade, second grade, we are still saying no to sleepovers,
but when it comes to play dates and keV, I
kind of want your opinion on this too, So Smith,

(22:00):
excuse me. Smith's second grade. He's eight years old, and
he got asked to go over to a kid in
his class's house after school, like the mom had reached
out to me.

Speaker 3 (22:12):
I do not know. I couldn't even picture who this
kid is.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 13 (22:15):
I didn't recognize the name, so I didn't know who
the kid is. I definitely don't know who the family is.
I couldn't pick the parents out of a crowd. I
know nothing about them.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
So I very.

Speaker 13 (22:25):
Politely told the mom no, we were not up for
a play day. And I feel like I need at
this point. And maybe it's because I have scared myself
or watched too much Dateline or just being in here
and hearing news stories, like I need to meet.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
These people a few times.

Speaker 13 (22:43):
First, I need to figure out where they live, what
they're like, Like, I know it sounds nuts, like if
they have a pool, guns is a house older Like
I just feel like that's where I am. But now
I'm taking a step back and going am I being
a little too over protective? Like I don't want it
to be to the point where I hinder Smith's ability

(23:06):
to make new friends and friendships and have those experiences
because I'm so terrified.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
I will tell you, as the guy that already raised
my kids and put them out there in this world.
Chelsea and I look at the world right now different
than we looked at it back in the day, and
it probably was just as scary. But Chelsea always was,
if I don't have a relationship with you, I don't
want my.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Kids to be a few hours at your house over.

Speaker 5 (23:33):
At their Yeah, And what we would end up doing
a lot of times was that we went to our
kids went to a smaller school like it was, you know,
a Catholic school where there's only like, you know, twenty
five kids in the classroom or in the class So
it was one of those things where you kind of
knew everybody.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
See, and that's not Smith's school, it's a big school.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
Yeah, I think you gotta.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
I think that you got to not only just ask
that question, because anybody can lie in their answers to
the questions, but you got to really know.

Speaker 4 (24:02):
But sometimes you'll never know, I know, you know, So.

Speaker 10 (24:05):
I would suggest that they do a play date at
like a zav zone or something, so at that point
they're in a mutual area. They can still go out
and have fun. But during that time is when you
can talk to the parents.

Speaker 13 (24:16):
I think I feel even more comfortable if I had
just if I knew who the mom was. Yeah, I
don't even know who this person is.

Speaker 10 (24:21):
Like, you'll have the play date for them, but you
also have your parent date as well, so you can
ask those necessary questions. So at least you can just
feel more comfortable to a person. And then if you
get that bad feeling, man, I just.

Speaker 13 (24:31):
Remember back in the day, if I asked my mom.
We called them bus passes because you had you had
to take like your parent note to the office and
give it to the secretary and then they would give
you a pass to hand to the bus driver to say,
like you got to go on a different bus because
you were going to somebody else's house.

Speaker 16 (24:47):
My mom.

Speaker 13 (24:47):
I don't think my mom met any of the people
that I did that, Like, she was really quick to
be like, oh, you want to go to you know,
Jenny's house.

Speaker 29 (24:56):
Go.

Speaker 5 (24:56):
It was really trusting. And the other thing too is
that we didn't have any device. Is that you could,
you know, watch the kids by Holly. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (25:03):
Hi?

Speaker 23 (25:04):
Stay there.

Speaker 44 (25:05):
I just wanted to let you know, I definitely agree
with Shannon when it comes to uh, letting our kids,
you know, mingle with different families. It's just kind of
it's a scary world right now.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
Yeah, I think it always has been, Holly.

Speaker 5 (25:22):
We we we were raised probably in a scary world too.
Our parents just didn't give a crap. But you heard
some of those stories. I mean there's there were stories
of something happened by a dad touching a girl or
something that's in one of the houses, or a brother,
you know, doing something they shouldn't been doing.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Yeah, you know what I mean.

Speaker 45 (25:41):
Right absolutely, I think we're just more aware of everything.

Speaker 5 (25:45):
There's more Netflix documentaries. Yeah, what's up, Amanda?

Speaker 37 (25:50):
Hi?

Speaker 42 (25:50):
How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 46 (25:53):
Hey? I Santa and I am the exact same way.

Speaker 34 (25:55):
I have six kids.

Speaker 46 (25:56):
My youngest is only five months, my oldest is twelve,
and just the other day he wanted to go to
a friend's house for a half day before football practice,
and I went over there first. I had to meet
the parents, make sure they were home. I everything, it's
my kids cannot go to sleepovers. I was able to
go to sleepovers, but times, I feel like times have
always been scary, but I feel like it's just it's

(26:17):
a little bit worse now. You hear a lot of
scary things and you just don't.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
Know how did the parents take it when you went
over there and started.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Doing all.

Speaker 46 (26:26):
Actually I had pulled up, I had my son's location,
and I had Kate went over there is by the school,
and I said, it's his mom there. He said, well,
his grandma's here. I said, okay, well I need to
meet her and she came outside.

Speaker 18 (26:36):
She was very very kind.

Speaker 46 (26:37):
I explained to her, I said, you know, my kids
cannot go anywhere. I usually have to know the parents.
I said, but he's a little bit older. You know,
he's really close with your son. And she goes, I
completely understand, And she met me and she was wonderful.

Speaker 21 (26:49):
So I was really appreciative.

Speaker 47 (26:50):
And if not, then he would have been.

Speaker 8 (26:51):
Coming home with me.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
But how many, you know, minutes do you have to
spend with somebody before you know if they're crazy?

Speaker 4 (26:58):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (26:58):
Like, I think idea of doing mutual is probably the
best way. Stacy's got an idea for you, Shannon, what's
your idea?

Speaker 39 (27:05):
Hi?

Speaker 48 (27:05):
Guys.

Speaker 20 (27:06):
By the way, I listen every day, I'm on the
app right now.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
You are my favorite.

Speaker 8 (27:10):
Thank you.

Speaker 20 (27:13):
Like you like your family to me. But anyway, so
my kids are older now, but I was the same way,
super protective. I would always invite them over my house.
And it's kind of still that way. The kids all
come over now because I've established that, but I feel
like then I can kind of keep an eye on
things and you can get a feel for the boys.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Would any of the parents ask you questions like some
people have been asking or did you have parents that
would just drop the kids off and go all right,
here you go?

Speaker 20 (27:43):
Always just drop them off?

Speaker 29 (27:44):
Always?

Speaker 4 (27:45):
We had a neighbor.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
We had a neighbor one time that did this with us,
had a little kid and we just moved into the neighborhood.
We had obviously kids in the kids were their age
and their kid came over to our house hung out
with us. We at the parents when we are moving truck.
We had moved us into the place and we'd been
in for a couple of three weeks. It was a Saturday.

(28:07):
I'll never forget it and he came over to hang
out with us, because in the Midwest, you just go
right to the backscreen door and you know what I mean,
in the sliding doors open. The kid came over. We're like, hey,
you have to go back home. We're going to be leaving.
My parents aren't home. Where are they? Mom was at
the mall. The mall was thirty minutes from She used

(28:28):
us as a babysitter. And I'll never forget that. Chelsey
is like, we would never do it. Sheled to look
at me, like, you're never going to do this. But
I think even you know, the smallest time knowing people
like you have your you have your circle of your friends,
right and you know them, you can trust them.

Speaker 4 (28:48):
There's people, those are people that you've.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Been well sometimes, but.

Speaker 5 (28:53):
You know, you'll never forgive yourself if something happens, right exactly,
what's up?

Speaker 49 (28:59):
How are you?

Speaker 23 (28:59):
Beautiful people?

Speaker 4 (29:00):
We're how you doing?

Speaker 23 (29:02):
I'm good in traffic in fifty nine.

Speaker 29 (29:04):
But listen, my daughter, this is me all day.

Speaker 9 (29:08):
You know.

Speaker 23 (29:08):
She couldn't go anywhere in elementary okay, not even family really.
Then in middle.

Speaker 9 (29:13):
School a little bit I had to go in the house.

Speaker 23 (29:15):
Look wofeeded who lives there.

Speaker 45 (29:17):
And all that, even as she's grown, and I'm still
like that, like let think go see it with you.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
You know it's sir, Well, let me ask her? How
old is she?

Speaker 26 (29:26):
Twenty three?

Speaker 5 (29:27):
So she goes on a date that she meets on tender,
I'd be more petrified over that.

Speaker 23 (29:31):
Oh my god, id license right all that?

Speaker 29 (29:38):
Like who the hell?

Speaker 23 (29:39):
I mean?

Speaker 9 (29:39):
Excuse me?

Speaker 23 (29:40):
I mean you know, I'm like that with my nieces
and nephew and my sister or brother called me, call
your niece or nephews because I will even do them
like that, like who is this?

Speaker 26 (29:50):
Send me the ID see me?

Speaker 9 (29:51):
You know?

Speaker 44 (29:52):
Yeah, it's crazy.

Speaker 23 (29:54):
It's not like the village we had. I'm fifty one,
you know, and it was creepy.

Speaker 9 (30:00):
But we know the creeks, you knew who had what cousin?

Speaker 7 (30:09):
You know?

Speaker 23 (30:10):
I mean, yoho, why like infant shout.

Speaker 9 (30:14):
Out, gosh, we love you.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
What's up? Jane High?

Speaker 50 (30:23):
Okay, so everyone is a green new cannon.

Speaker 9 (30:26):
I don't I feel like y'all are taking.

Speaker 46 (30:28):
Away like their core childhood memories like we got to
have on them and sleepovers and everything, and it's crazy
to take that away to experience.

Speaker 47 (30:36):
As a kid, because I feel like if you take
that away now, when they grow up.

Speaker 42 (30:40):
Later, they're gonna go wild.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
They're gonna go crazy.

Speaker 9 (30:42):
Going out to get before.

Speaker 13 (30:45):
I'm like, what is the balance though, you know, keeping
them safe and feeling comfortable as mom and and also
like giving them that that freedom.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (30:55):
I also think it's important to explain to them, like
why you're doing it, because I think when I was
growing up I heard know a lot, but never.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
Why it was a no.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
Well, I think you definitely got to make them aware
too that if something that seems abnormal happens when you
are somewhere that you and if it's not normal to you,
you got to say something to me.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
And it may be something that's.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Can I tell you something?

Speaker 13 (31:16):
Lucy and I went on. I can't even remember where
we were going. Her and I were going somewhere by ourselves.
It might have been her girl Scout camp last year
or something like that. And I had found this we
were just like talking about just like different questions, different things.
I'd found this list of questions to ask your daughter
before she becomes a teenager.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
And I was like, Okay, this is a great opportunity.

Speaker 13 (31:34):
We're going on a road trip and one of the
things she told me about something that made her uncomfortable
during a plate ate. She was on forever change to
my mind, and it was about something I'm not going
to get into it, but it was concerning the dad.
It wasn't sexual in nature or anything like that. But
what she told me made me go, Okay, I like
really have to kind of buckle down and be way
more careful here. And it was somebody I knew.

Speaker 8 (31:56):
Wow, so important to talk to you.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
Yeah, Courtney has a dilemma. Your daughter's how old.

Speaker 18 (32:03):
Gosh, she'll be seventeen. She's sixteen right now.

Speaker 4 (32:06):
And she got invited to go hang out with friends,
not a playdate, but what.

Speaker 18 (32:11):
Her She got invited with her best friend's family to
go to Cancun over spring break.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Jeez.

Speaker 18 (32:17):
And I've always been a pretty lenient parent. I live
in a very small town. We all know each other,
so play dates and sleepovers have always been a pretty
open thing with us. But I'm really struggling with this decision,
and I know the parents.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
That's what I was gonna say.

Speaker 10 (32:32):
With her being the best friend, you've obviously come in
contact with the parents before. Your level of comfortability still
isn't there though, to see your daughter overseas.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
It will, it will Mexican I can be honest, I
can make a different country.

Speaker 5 (32:47):
I'd be I'd be afraid honestly nowadays just even going
anywhere because of travel could you never know what can happen?
And there have been alerts of alerts of traveling in
Mexico lately. So I here's my thing with that. I
think if you're not going, she's not going.

Speaker 18 (33:04):
Maybe that's kind of.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
And man, you heard the story about that girl and
Poontakana that went missing. One story like that, One story
like that keeps me from ever not being there for
you also got to know your child though too well,
he could. I'm sure that mom knew her child. They
say that that kid was honestly an honorable kid who

(33:31):
never had a boyfriend. They said the girl they went missing,
and she met the kid from another school and then
they went out in the water and supposedly she's gone.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
You know, I don't know. You told me I could
canon by the way. By the way, Uh, we got
to get you a map. Shut up. Just because you
went to Boston and got you a Harvard had me.

Speaker 2 (33:57):
Goes to in October al festiv It's Mojo.

Speaker 16 (34:01):
In the morning.

Speaker 8 (34:04):
It's time for more mojo.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Mojo in the morning, Great Mojo in the morning show.

Speaker 5 (34:09):
So keV, whenever we talk about some of these girls
that you're hanging out with, relaxed.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Man, stop doing that. No, well, I haven't even said
what I wanted to say.

Speaker 10 (34:18):
You already talk about with some of these girls who
I got this brothel, got this aram of oars.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
Well, but no, But I think when you tell stories,
you always go, there's this girl that wants me, and
it might be the same girl, but you make yourself
look like you gotta know.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
I just don't need to name names or give nicknames.
I don't want to do that.

Speaker 9 (34:34):
So there is a.

Speaker 5 (34:35):
Girl, right and she wants Kevin to get tested. Yes,
so this is a girl I've known for quite some time.
Just get a bit of context. And there may be
hesitation in my speech.

Speaker 10 (34:46):
I may be dancing around things because I do not
want to give away that say, a person's identity, and
even though nobody may know them, that person knows who
they are. And I've gotten in trouble with stuff like that,
and it's prevented me from doing certain things, and I
don't want that to be the case this time. That's
a run out of breath. So this person, I've known
them for a while, we've had sex in the past.
But I don't know why I looked at you.

Speaker 4 (35:05):
I said, I'm sorry.

Speaker 10 (35:07):
I've known this person for a while, we've had sex
in the past, and we've kept in touch, but that
part of our relationship got cut off.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
No, she moved on. I moved on.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
We started recently talking again, and I want to, you
know what I'm saying, get back to where we was at, Like.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
I want to do some things.

Speaker 9 (35:23):
She said.

Speaker 10 (35:25):
You know I am interested, yes, but I need you
to get tested and show me your chart period. I've
never had anybody ask me to do that, Yeah, for sure.
And that they swabbed the p hole and it was
like the worst feeling I've ever felt in my life.
And I don't know if every sex test is like that, Like,
I don't know if you need to be I don't

(35:45):
know if it's blood or swaby your mouth.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (35:47):
I just did the swab because I needed I don't know.
I was freaking out. Everything's positive about it, all greens,
but I've never asked any one to show me their chart,
and I've never been asked before. I didn't know if
this was like a common thing, like is that what's
happening in the dating world where people need to show
it with the COVID card and be like, this is

(36:09):
what you know that?

Speaker 5 (36:11):
That to me is a responsible thing that she's doing.
But on the other hand, it is kind of awkward
that she's telling you that you got to do this.
And was she telling you in a moment where you
guys were getting romantic with each to stop you short.

Speaker 10 (36:23):
No, this was this was a text conversation, Okay, like
we text it and my mom, I'm like, I need
to see you chart.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
So she said to you ahead of time, she said,
I want it will full around. Like she basically is
giving you the okay that you guys are going to
fall around. But she's saying the only way that you're
going to get the okay is if you have a
negative test. Exactly, I prove how fast, by the way
does it take for your for the test to come back?

Speaker 4 (36:47):
I don't that part. I don't know. I did do
some research to figure out where do you get tests.
You call doctor Warner, you call them doctor Warrener. Absolutely,
you know well.

Speaker 3 (36:58):
Wait, oh my god, he's a doctor.

Speaker 4 (37:00):
Wait your doctors. You don't want to know, not doctor Warner. Yeah,
I wanted a female doctor. Bro let her.

Speaker 10 (37:06):
Let her run it at once. You want a female
doctor to tell you whether you're what is the matter.
I don't want a man, especially a man that I know,
like that's that intimate your He's he's a very professional.

Speaker 4 (37:18):
Listen, No, guys, that's not what I'm on. He's the
only person I would want.

Speaker 21 (37:24):
No.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I mean they're they're a female. Is they wrong for
me to request?

Speaker 5 (37:27):
It's like if you're going to get a massage, like
you don't want a female muscuse you know, you just.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
Can't ask for which doctor? Why come in there?

Speaker 16 (37:34):
Why not?

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Because you actually probably can. I'm just I'm wondering why
you don't feel comfortable with doctor Warner.

Speaker 4 (37:39):
See here's the saying. If it's well, I mean you
get your pap smears and stuff done by.

Speaker 3 (37:43):
Him, right, I get yes, I do get my once
a year.

Speaker 10 (37:48):
But I feel like if a woman had something, you know,
going on, where she needed either to have her her
breast looked at or her lady lip, if she requested
a female doctor. I don't think anybody would turn her
nose up at that and they'd be like, I get it,
so get mine.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
So I think if you go into like a clinic
and you say to them, hey, I'd like to get
a test, they're going to say, okay, put you in
room number four. I don't know if you can necessarily
go put me in with a guy or put me
in with a woman. Yeah, I don't know if you
can ask for that, But why can't you?

Speaker 4 (38:23):
I don't know. Oh, listen, my body, my choice. What's up.
How you doing, Ashley?

Speaker 51 (38:28):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 4 (38:29):
I'm fantastic. Ashley. You sound like a voice of reason.
What do you want to say to keV I.

Speaker 29 (38:34):
Just what's the big deal?

Speaker 3 (38:35):
Get yourself tested?

Speaker 51 (38:36):
Even for your own peace of mind?

Speaker 9 (38:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (38:38):
No, absolutely, I don't have I don't have a problem
with getting tested. It's just nothing that I've been asked
of before. I definitely agree with you. People should get
tested all the time. I'm in full support of it.
I've just never been asked before. I didn't know that
that was the thing where people see it before some of.

Speaker 5 (38:54):
Your chart, Ashley, have you asked any uh people that
you've been in a relationship with to get tested and yeah,
and do you.

Speaker 51 (39:00):
Ask her boyfriend before we started digging?

Speaker 4 (39:03):
And how soon did he go get tested?

Speaker 20 (39:06):
Right away?

Speaker 5 (39:06):
Like seriously that moment, like I would have said, all right, right,
we're getting laid.

Speaker 4 (39:12):
What are you so worried about?

Speaker 5 (39:14):
Yeah, well I would think that if you're putting it off,
and this is the other thing too, like I would
be afraid that it would be showing to her that maybe.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
You're worried that you're not going to pass the test.
I'm not worried.

Speaker 8 (39:25):
Or just wrap it up and then you don't have
to get tested.

Speaker 5 (39:31):
Yeah, she wants to make sure. She doesn't want you
want to catch anything. What's going on? How you doing, James?
Then we both gonna get tested?

Speaker 4 (39:38):
What's up? James? Chew ittt together is a date that's weird?

Speaker 9 (39:41):
Dates?

Speaker 4 (39:42):
Hi, James, Good morning everybody, James.

Speaker 9 (39:49):
N say that anywhere once again?

Speaker 4 (39:52):
Ask you need to ask? Is that what you all want?

Speaker 14 (39:57):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (39:58):
But it is very respectful and tess off to her
for wanting you to be tested.

Speaker 4 (40:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (40:04):
I think it's actually smart on her part and more
people should do it. But I also find it interesting
that Kevin still hasn't gotten tested. I would have run
out right at that moment.

Speaker 7 (40:15):
I get it, I agree with it. But as a woman,
if somebody told, like if a guy told me that,
I would be like, what do you like? Do you
think I'm not being safe? Do you think I'm dirty?

Speaker 23 (40:23):
Like?

Speaker 3 (40:23):
I know it's like responsible, but at the same time
it's you almost get slightly offended.

Speaker 5 (40:28):
Yeah, but I think though that you you can't worry
about offending somebody when you're talking about your health, you know.

Speaker 4 (40:36):
Not at all yourself. Marquisha, what's happening, yes, is that you?

Speaker 25 (40:43):
It's Marisa?

Speaker 5 (40:46):
Okay, Marisa, Marisa. I apologize. I don't know why, I
said Marquis Maurice.

Speaker 52 (40:57):
I can take I can take the personality too, But
I almost died when Kevin said, lady lips, that is
the best.

Speaker 4 (41:04):
Jeez, don't don't come on.

Speaker 52 (41:07):
If a woman wants if there was a male physician
in the room with a woman, there would also be
a female nurse or technician just for the patient safety.
But so if Kevin wanted a female there would be
another nurse or somebody a technician there would also.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
Do they do that for guys too? Absolutely? Do they
always have like another person.

Speaker 10 (41:26):
I went one time and the lady said, I can't
be in here with you alone, so she had another
lady to come in.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
Do you think when keV gets his test done and
he gets tested, do you think that keV should laminate that,
put it in his wallet and have it for the
rest of the other ladies I keep talking about.

Speaker 37 (41:41):
On his frame it.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Yeah, you might have to do it with this lady.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
This is like a driver's license to get on an everything. Yeah,
this is like the global entry.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
This is for the woman. What's going on? How you doing, Linda?

Speaker 5 (42:00):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (42:00):
Good morning, Good morning? What's going on?

Speaker 5 (42:02):
CAV was asked by a girl that he's going to
get romantic with to go get tested.

Speaker 4 (42:07):
What are your thoughts?

Speaker 50 (42:10):
I think it's fair so long as she's going to
show him recent results as well, Because in this day
and age, who can you trust? I mean, we're into
the generation that everybody's just I mean lately for the
last ten years, everybody's just doing whatever they want and
everyone's changing partners every two weeks. So who wants HTV
for STDs that are not going to be good for

(42:32):
you or deadly?

Speaker 10 (42:34):
I want to hear from somebody who had to go
get a test and then found out they had something.

Speaker 5 (42:41):
Yeah, although, Linda, can I tell you something I read
the other day that we're in a non sex age,
that nobody's having sex these days, that that's why do
you look like that?

Speaker 4 (42:53):
Wait a second, what do you mean?

Speaker 9 (42:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (42:59):
They're saying.

Speaker 5 (43:00):
They're saying that more they're saying they're saying that more
more people dating these days aren't having sex at all.

Speaker 4 (43:07):
They're just going on dates and that's it. So are
they happy? I don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
Maybe they're well, they're hopefully safe. They're not having the
issues and the scratches. I guess that's one way not
to get it. What's up, Sherry, How you doing?

Speaker 9 (43:21):
Hi?

Speaker 49 (43:22):
Good morning?

Speaker 39 (43:22):
I'm doing well.

Speaker 43 (43:23):
How are you good?

Speaker 4 (43:24):
What's going on?

Speaker 42 (43:26):
I just want, for the love of God, for Kevin
never to say the words lady, listen, thank you?

Speaker 9 (43:36):
All right.

Speaker 4 (43:36):
We're down with that, lady. I no more calls through.
What's going on? DeAndre high or DeAndre? Oh yeah, DeAndre?
Good morning, Mojo.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Everyone knows Hi.

Speaker 4 (43:45):
What's going on?

Speaker 7 (43:47):
So I was just saying that I don't think old
girl has anything to worry about because I don't think
Kevin is picking so many cookies to how to get tested.

Speaker 10 (43:55):
Absolutely right, man, the stuff it the stuff and the
stove and of them both off.

Speaker 4 (44:00):
Yeah, Wi Detroit, whis.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Toledo, Three great stations, one stupid show.

Speaker 2 (44:12):
This is Mojo in the Morning, Live.

Speaker 5 (44:17):
Mojo in the Morning. So Anna Rob is about to
be a month into this Mojo on the Morning Show.
It's crazy to think, how fast is the week? Three weeks?

Speaker 44 (44:25):
Right?

Speaker 8 (44:25):
So I started like a little after the est of
the month, and she.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
Was like, you've been here for a while. I was
just telling somebody I feel like you fit right in. Yes, seamlessly,
really really love you too.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
Yes, the right decision was made.

Speaker 5 (44:40):
Listen to this though, Anna Rob joining the Mojo on
the Morning Show has not been all that great though
for her when it comes to her friends, what's the story?

Speaker 7 (44:49):
Okay, I don't love how you set that up. So
I'm gonna do a little bit of a background.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
Wait a second, I thought I liked you.

Speaker 7 (45:00):
It was a little messy ahead topic sheet, but okay,
So here's the deal. As many of you know, I
grew up in White Lake and moved to Detroit around
five years ago. When I moved here, not only was
I physically distant from my family and friends that I

(45:21):
grew up with, I also like became unbelievably invested in
my career and doing whatever it took to succeed.

Speaker 8 (45:30):
Like I was hustling. There's no better way to put it.

Speaker 7 (45:35):
I was just hustling and always working or figuring out
how I could elevate my TikTok, my personal brand. And
on the camera, like what you would see that I'm posting,
it looks like I'm living this very glamorous life, but
it was not.

Speaker 4 (45:50):
That was not it.

Speaker 8 (45:51):
It was very much like getting it out of the mud.

Speaker 7 (45:56):
And I have a friend group that I grew up
with my entire life, so we lived in the same neighborhood,
we went to the same kindergarten, high school, college, which
I'm learning is not super common, but like a group
of five of us and we have been close our
entire lives. But I became distant once I moved to

(46:17):
Detroit because I was so invested in my career. I
was physically farther away from them, and I just felt.

Speaker 5 (46:23):
Like I had to do what I had to do,
which a lot of people I think can relate to
that when they started a new job or they go
way somewhere to college or.

Speaker 4 (46:32):
Wherever it is.

Speaker 3 (46:32):
Proximity is fact. Frontship changes it.

Speaker 7 (46:35):
Yeah, but it genuinely took me like four years, the
past four years to get to a place where I
now feel comfortable in my career to where like, Okay,
I don't have to go to every event, I don't
have to do this.

Speaker 8 (46:46):
I could go hang out with my friends.

Speaker 7 (46:48):
But now I feel like all of my friends and
even my family, like all of those relationships are suffering
because I was so distant for like four years or
like past however many years, and I just I'm now
trying to reach out to them, but I'm getting pushed
back like, well.

Speaker 8 (47:09):
Where where have you been? Like now you want to
hang out?

Speaker 7 (47:13):
And I admit, like I know that I'm at fault.
I could have done a better job communicating and stuff,
but like on my side of it, I also feel
like where were you guys? Like I was crying on
my kitchen floor, like I didn't know how I was
going to pay my rent.

Speaker 5 (47:28):
But they didn't see that because right because you weren't
community when you lived the life of somebody that does
you know everything on social media. Social media is such
a to be honest with you, I hate to say it.
It's a kind of a fake world out there. Sometimes
it's a where the person you see everything and you go, oh,
this person's got everything great going on.

Speaker 4 (47:46):
But that's what they show you.

Speaker 5 (47:47):
A lot of times you don't see the struggles that
you're going through and what's happening. But I'm surprised you
didn't turn to those friends as a you know, you
didn't use their them as comfort to tell you, like
what you were going through.

Speaker 7 (48:01):
I also made a lot of friends. Like Another part
of this is that they're all in the same industry.
They're all in the medical field. They do doctor stuff.
I don't know what they do. I made my friends
in my industry, so like people that I work with
a lot or can help me. So there's just differences.
But I love them so much and I miss them.

(48:21):
But now I just feel like, is it too late
for me ever?

Speaker 3 (48:26):
Especially true friendships, and not to mention.

Speaker 7 (48:28):
They're all in such different places in their lives now,
like getting married, having kids, and I haven't even had
time to date.

Speaker 16 (48:37):
You know.

Speaker 5 (48:37):
One of the biggest regrets I have in my life,
and Channon and keV and Lydia and Beyonca and everybody
have heard me talk about my buddy, Brad Yeager. Brad's
like my best friend since you know, kindergarten. One of
my biggest regrets was I did not have him as
a groomsman.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
In my wedding. I actually didn't even invite him to
my wedding.

Speaker 3 (48:53):
Are you serious?

Speaker 4 (48:54):
Crazy?

Speaker 5 (48:55):
Because we were kind of distant because I was doing
what you did. I became the radio guy that moved
across the country and out of sight, out of mine,
and so I had radio friends and then my family
in the wedding, and I regret. He and I both
have had conversations. I didn't go to his wedding, he
didn't go to my wedding. We both regret that it's
never too late to become friends again. And what for me,

(49:17):
what it was, it was a funeral that brought us together.
So it was the death of Dad that ended up
bringing the two of us back together again, because you know,
it usually happens you go back to your hometown. Yeah,
you know, when somebody in the family dies or you know,
gets married.

Speaker 8 (49:33):
So did you talk about the issues or did you
just sort of just become friends.

Speaker 4 (49:37):
Can I tell you what we have as a friendship.

Speaker 5 (49:39):
Anything that was a bad situation we kind of never
brought back up again, and we occasionally will reference it
like a moment where we didn't get along with each other,
but we have that understanding with each other that hey,
we were both in two different lives.

Speaker 4 (49:53):
At that time.

Speaker 13 (49:54):
Would it be uncomfortable for you, Oh, go ahead, Kevin? Sorry,
would you I feel uncomfortable going to them and saying,
because I've had to do this before, I to MODO's point,
I really I want a relationship with you. I understand
we've fallen off over the past couple of years, but like,
I want this. I want to continue, and I want
to you know, I want this. Yeah, and I know

(50:18):
where I went wrong and apologize or are you kind
of waiting for them to do that?

Speaker 45 (50:24):
No?

Speaker 8 (50:24):
I think I know I need to do that.

Speaker 7 (50:26):
So something actually recently happened. They were all getting together
and they invited me and I canceled last minute because
we got invited by Priority.

Speaker 8 (50:34):
Waste to go to the Tigers game.

Speaker 7 (50:36):
I was like, this is my first outing with the team,
Like I need to be there, and one of them
called me and they're like, not gonna lie, Like, we're
kind of upset that you just always blow us.

Speaker 3 (50:45):
Off for work.

Speaker 4 (50:47):
This is why they hate them this show. So it is,
I was right when I did the intro to the show.

Speaker 7 (50:52):
I got brought up and I talked about it with
one of the girls. But I don't know, I feel uncomfortable.
I also feel like there's four of them and one
of me, and I just am like, I don't know
if they can see my side of it. But I'm
also willing to take accountability. I know I was not
a good friend.

Speaker 4 (51:11):
I think so, like two things come to mind.

Speaker 10 (51:12):
The first thing you said about hustling, getting on your grind,
having a goal. I think elevation sometimes requires isolation, and
there are things that you have to do alone in
order to get where you're going that you just can't
do if you got everybody with you. So I don't
fault you for that. The second thing I want to
say is and shout out pastor for this. But a

(51:37):
lack of communication leads to imagination. Sure, and when you
aren't communicating the reality of the situation, the only thing
people have left to do is make up stuff that's true.
And the longer you allow that time to go, the
crazier the thoughts are and the more the thoughts are.
And sometimes it requires you to just strip off everything
you got and just be completely honest with them. And

(51:59):
I you're into you, they'll love you because they'll see
who they loved originally.

Speaker 4 (52:04):
It's still in there. Yeah, that's good.

Speaker 8 (52:06):
I feel that.

Speaker 4 (52:07):
Uh In Hickory Dickory Dock the Mouse ran up the Clock.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
KeV says something Sometimes I'm like, I'm just gonna shot
because nothing's going to be that good.

Speaker 1 (52:20):
I do.

Speaker 5 (52:20):
I will say this to you, if you don't want
these girls as friends, I'm assuming they're probably cute.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
I live close to White Lake, Michigan. If they want
a friend, I'll drive from West Bloomville to go visit them.

Speaker 5 (52:30):
We'll go hang outa go ahead, What were you going
to say?

Speaker 4 (52:33):
What you want is?

Speaker 7 (52:35):
I think it's tough because they grew up with me
and I've become a much different person.

Speaker 8 (52:41):
So like they see the changes in me. And even
one of them said to.

Speaker 7 (52:44):
Me, like, we just want to hang out with Anna,
and I'm like this is me, Like I'm I'm more
happy than I've ever been, Like.

Speaker 16 (52:51):
This is me.

Speaker 4 (52:52):
I make all my friends they grew up with me
as Tom call me mojo. I say to them, you
call me mojo or don't talk to me at all. Derek,
what's going on? How you doing?

Speaker 9 (53:03):
Good morning, guys. How's it going good?

Speaker 4 (53:05):
I'm in silly today, buddy. I didn't get much sleep
last night. But go ahead. What's happening?

Speaker 36 (53:11):
Oh?

Speaker 53 (53:11):
Not much. I was just gonna comment about Anna.

Speaker 24 (53:13):
I'm a fellow while you laker two thirty nine years.

Speaker 53 (53:15):
And it's good to hear that someone from white like's
on the radio. But other than that, friends are going
to probably dissipate because they don't want their business to
be involved on the topic or something like that. You know,
they're naturally just gonna move away from you.

Speaker 8 (53:30):
Oh great.

Speaker 5 (53:31):
That happens from time to time where friends get a
little upset about this. But sometimes I actually it's good
to get that side of you on the air, Like
it's like your your life growing up in who you
were growing up. Is uh great for the listeners to
be able to hear because they'll be able to relate
to it, you know. But Derek, where do you live now?

Speaker 4 (53:55):
What's that? Where do you live now?

Speaker 53 (53:58):
I still live in White Lake. I actually operate my
window cleaning company out of Okay, what's the name of it,
Chapel's Window Cleaning, All right.

Speaker 4 (54:06):
Right, I like it.

Speaker 5 (54:08):
Well, thanks for listening, buddy, I appreciate you. My buddy,
Brad lives in the same hometown that I grew up
in my whole life, and uh, there's part of me
that honestly is as I got older, jealous, I wish
that I still lived in that little town and never
moved out. And the best part that happened to me

(54:28):
was meeting Chelsea. I would have never met her and
had our boys, but it was so cool to see
like him, Like he called me it was Summerfest this
weekend at our church, Saint Mike's, and he was like, hey,
I'm going to Summerfest.

Speaker 4 (54:41):
Remember those days?

Speaker 5 (54:42):
And it brought back memories to me, like, oh that
was You know, it's kind of kind of neat, you
know that. You get that, so you get you're lucky
because you live in the same you know, proximity, so
you can drive thirty minutes or forty minutes and go home.

Speaker 7 (54:55):
It's good and bad because it's like close enough to
drive and go home. But like far enough, like it's
still hits a drive.

Speaker 5 (55:01):
There was a wise man named John bon Jovi that said,
who says you can't go home?

Speaker 45 (55:08):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (55:08):
Sure? Did you hear that song? No, you got to
play that after this because it's his life. It's now
or never. What's on? Rachel?

Speaker 9 (55:16):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Rachel?

Speaker 47 (55:17):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (55:17):
How are you good?

Speaker 4 (55:19):
What's going on?

Speaker 30 (55:20):
I was just calling a comment to say, you know,
the same thing happens, you know when you have kids
and you're in different stages of your life and your friends.

Speaker 14 (55:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 31 (55:26):
I had the friends that I met in college.

Speaker 30 (55:28):
We were all in nursing school, so we were all
partying and going out and doing things. And then like
I was one of the ones that first started having kids,
and then everything kind of gets distant and you kind
of have to have booth conversations like I'm at the
stage of my life, like either you're going to be
in with me in that stage of life, and like
your friends should be supporting you too, you know, when
you're making these new changes and doing better things with

(55:49):
your life, you know, and then if they don't, you know, they're.

Speaker 29 (55:51):
Kind of not friends.

Speaker 14 (55:52):
You know.

Speaker 3 (55:53):
That was the hardest transition for me. Like you hit
the nail on the head with that.

Speaker 13 (55:57):
Were you're already experiencing so many emotions being a new mom,
and you're also like, but where did all my friends go?

Speaker 4 (56:03):
Like that is so tough, Megan, what's up?

Speaker 9 (56:08):
Hey?

Speaker 48 (56:09):
I just want first of all, I want to say
I'm a first time a long time.

Speaker 54 (56:14):
So long.

Speaker 48 (56:16):
Thank you for having me personally. Anne, I just want
to say, welcome to the show, and I'm so happy
that you are part of the family. And I also
very much appreciate the fact how.

Speaker 34 (56:28):
Vulnerable you were.

Speaker 48 (56:29):
That is like a really tough conversation, but so relatable
to so many millennials, kind of like going off of
what the previous colors of saying, like, I feel like
once you enter in different phases of your life, friendships
get really hard and it's so hard to keep those
connections and those friendships because naturally you drift away and
it's like almost like you're just sad that like you're

(56:51):
not the same person. But like you were saying, you're
so happy and so you want to celebrate being happy
in your new phase of life. But it's so hard
when like friends like aren't like growing with you at
the same time. So I just want to say thank
you for sharing that because that's so relatable to so
many people.

Speaker 4 (57:05):
You know, it's great.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
I'm so glad you said that in the words that
you said, because I've been trying to talk to Anna
and I think she gets it. She's gotten in such
a short period of time that you guys, our listeners
are thirteen faithful friends. You guys like when we communicate
things that you can say, oh, I'm going through this
or I went through this. And that's why these topics

(57:28):
that we do on our show, I think are so
valuable for people to be able to hear as they're
going into work or school or whatever. This is a
great conversation to have on the air because guarantee you
there are many people that either are going through this,
have gone through it, or will go through it.

Speaker 4 (57:43):
So I think that that's awesome.

Speaker 8 (57:44):
So should I have talked to them before I went
on air?

Speaker 35 (57:47):
No?

Speaker 4 (57:48):
You already doing in the air.

Speaker 21 (57:49):
No.

Speaker 13 (57:49):
And also I think like this might spark a conversation.
This is going to kickstart you or them, We'll.

Speaker 8 (57:55):
See where with you.

Speaker 35 (57:58):
When these songs played on the radio to get up
play along with the Throwback thro Down after eighty Mojo
in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (58:08):
It's Mojo in the Morning show. I always love talking
about stuff like this. A matter of fact, we were
trying to dide between a couple of Shannon's topics that
you had today, and I thought this topic was really
good because for some reason, and I've never really done
anything to buy one of these, but I know Chelsea has.
I am always obsessed with hearing stories about handbags and

(58:31):
reels and fakes and watches and reels and fakes like
you can buy. Like right now, the big thing on
my Instagram feed are people buying fake Rolexes and how
these they can. I be honest with you, they look really,
really good. I've never bought one before. Chelsea's bought a
fake Rolex and it looks dead on, Like I'm not

(58:53):
kidding you when I say this to you.

Speaker 4 (58:54):
It is dead on.

Speaker 5 (58:56):
The only thing that's different on her wrist. It looks
dead on when you feel it, You're.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
Like this, it seems like you know what I mean.
But it looks good like aesthetically, you know, But what's
what's your story?

Speaker 13 (59:10):
So I have a few nicer purses and some of
them are real. I saved up and you know, treated
myself or whatnot. Some of them are fake. And my
question is, when someone compliments something that you have that
is fake, do you come clean and admit that it
is not real? And I say this because it just

(59:30):
happened to me with Anna in the kitchen this week.
In the kitchen here at the radio station, I have
a tote bag and I was wearing it and she's.

Speaker 3 (59:38):
Like, oh my god, this bag? Is it worth the money?
I can't remember. I've been wanting one person so long,
And I was like, do I admit to her that
this bag was very, very cheap and is one million
percent not real? And I did end up saying it's fake.

Speaker 4 (59:57):
I will buy you one.

Speaker 8 (59:58):
I loved one because I was like, put me in
on the next order that one looks good.

Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
Yeah, yeah, I think.

Speaker 5 (01:00:04):
I think you say it because I think that it
gives you the ability to be able to uh show
somebody that, hey, this thing looks so good that you think.

Speaker 4 (01:00:12):
It's this is a good thing.

Speaker 3 (01:00:14):
It's a really good thing.

Speaker 5 (01:00:15):
But but I do also think that there's many that
wouldn't because I think there's many that feel like they're
posing if they are using it and it's fake, it's
uncomfortable too. But I'll be honest with you. I think
more power to you, you know what I mean? Yeah,
like absolutely, Like I used to buy fake easies. We
and we would buy them all the time for our kids,

(01:00:35):
like uh, Luke Luke always had a fake had fake
easy and they grow out of them, but they were
dead on. They're so good.

Speaker 8 (01:00:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:00:44):
When I was in high school, my dad brought me
some air Force once. I'm like, oh, the all white
on white joints. He's banging warm thought nothing of it.
Come around, Tom, I need some more, Like you want
to come with me? I'm like, yeah, we pull up
to a liquor store.

Speaker 8 (01:01:04):
On this one.

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):
You know how your first ones had like dots at
the top. They did not have it even amount of dots,
you know.

Speaker 13 (01:01:14):
I take that Girl's trip with Lucy, my daughter Lucy
to New York City every December. We're going again this year,
and it's her favorite thing now to buy a fake
from like one of the guys.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
On the street that opens up the suitcase. And so
every year I'm like, what are we shopping for this year,
Louis j Yard, what do you want?

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
I love them too.

Speaker 10 (01:01:33):
I get obsessed with bro like working at stock Eggs
where they have like the authenticators and things of that nature.
When it comes to shoes in particular, some of the
fakes are made with the same materials, the same fabrics,
and sometimes in the same warehouse.

Speaker 3 (01:01:45):
Yes, that's the very real thing.

Speaker 10 (01:01:47):
So it's the only thing is like, it's not being
sent from the company. That's the only quote unquote real factor.

Speaker 13 (01:01:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:01:53):
I think it's interesting if you pull off the fake
and you sent you give it to a family member,
like say, your dad gives you the face and doesn't
say to you it's not it's sick, and then you
look like, what's going on, Joanne?

Speaker 4 (01:02:06):
How you doing?

Speaker 7 (01:02:08):
Hi?

Speaker 37 (01:02:09):
I'm good, first time caller.

Speaker 31 (01:02:11):
Hey.

Speaker 25 (01:02:16):
Uh So I'm in agreement with Shannon.

Speaker 9 (01:02:19):
I think that.

Speaker 47 (01:02:21):
If you know the person, you should tell them that, hey,
you know, this isn't real.

Speaker 17 (01:02:26):
And if you're like out in public somewhere and just
some random person says, hey, that's a great bag, I
would just tell them thanks and keep on going, because
what's the point in disclosing that you didn't buy a
real one.

Speaker 4 (01:02:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:02:39):
Actually, honestly, there's so many outlet places now too that
you can go buy them, so it's just discounted for
the same product.

Speaker 5 (01:02:45):
Well, and that's an interesting analogy with the outlets, Like
if somebody if you go buy something and somebody says
to you, oh my god, I love that the thing
was amazing and it's so so beautiful, but they're so expensive.
Do you tell them that you got it at the outlet?

Speaker 14 (01:02:59):
You know?

Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
I mean you wouldn't do that. Oh, you would tell
them just to help him out and tell him that
you got it there. But I but you're right, But
what if it was a complete stranger that I said
that to you? Would you tell that complete stranger.

Speaker 37 (01:03:12):
That probably still because I mean, I don't care.

Speaker 17 (01:03:16):
I'm spending my money how I want to spend my money. Yeah,
and I can help somebody else out.

Speaker 16 (01:03:20):
Why not?

Speaker 5 (01:03:20):
Well, then why wouldn't you tell a complete stranger you
got a fake?

Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
And how you got a fake?

Speaker 37 (01:03:26):
That's a little different.

Speaker 7 (01:03:29):
To me.

Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
It's to me, it's you know, it's the same thing.
But what's going on? Michelle?

Speaker 15 (01:03:35):
Hi?

Speaker 54 (01:03:35):
Hey, So I am the first to admit when I
bought something that's cheap or fake, because we're all out
here balling on a budget, and if I can help someone,
look just as good. I'm going to so I am
the first to admit I got this from she and
ten bucks. Get you one two looks looks legit, and
I share.

Speaker 39 (01:03:53):
I don't gate keep.

Speaker 49 (01:03:54):
I share all of that so we can all look.

Speaker 29 (01:03:56):
Good and peace.

Speaker 5 (01:03:57):
There you go, see that that's kind. It's very good.
And my favorite was misfit Victor, who would go and
buy his.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Kids like he's got like a dealer.

Speaker 5 (01:04:07):
He's got somebody that's really good. His kids are smarter,
They know too much. They knew that something what was
the doll that everybody was going for? The la boo boos?
His kids knew right away that they were lufufus when
he got it. What's going on, Tony, Hi?

Speaker 9 (01:04:23):
So I just call my.

Speaker 48 (01:04:24):
Friends and co workers.

Speaker 39 (01:04:26):
My purse collection is like Russian roulette.

Speaker 29 (01:04:28):
You never know what one's.

Speaker 5 (01:04:29):
Actually really well, listen, I bet if I go to
your house, I know which ones are real and which
ones are fake.

Speaker 32 (01:04:36):
I don't know, they're pretty good.

Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
Like Shannon said, I'm saying, I guarantee, I guarantee you
put your real ones in a different place than you
put your fake ones. He might be right, Yeah, you're
you're making sure nobody's messing around with those. Uh, what's
going on, Jordan, what's happening?

Speaker 4 (01:04:54):
How are you.

Speaker 40 (01:04:57):
Hello?

Speaker 45 (01:04:57):
Hi?

Speaker 30 (01:04:59):
Hi?

Speaker 55 (01:05:00):
So I had around land in college. I bought a
fake Gucci purse. I bought a bunch of them, and
I had a crossbody that I wore all the time.

Speaker 48 (01:05:08):
My husband, my boyfriend, but not my husband.

Speaker 55 (01:05:11):
One of his friends stopped and looked at He's like,
that's a really nice Gucci person. I was like, thinks,
and I wasn't gonna say anything off of that because
there was other people.

Speaker 39 (01:05:18):
Well, my now husband looks at it and he goes,
it's Fucci.

Speaker 34 (01:05:23):
Succi.

Speaker 55 (01:05:24):
And then a couple of years later, he bought a
real Gucci belt when he graduated and that was his
like gift for when he started his new job, and he.

Speaker 48 (01:05:30):
Looked at me, he goes, this, not Fuccie.

Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
Do you as a as a woman?

Speaker 5 (01:05:38):
Jordan and Shannon and Anna, would you be upset if
somebody called yours out? Like if somebody were to say
that's fake, Like if somebody walks up to you, I,
you know what.

Speaker 55 (01:05:50):
No, because I had the girl that'sa bawling on a budget.
That's how I am now at the time, I was younger,
and I was very like trying to meet the standards
of like materialistic like yes, I.

Speaker 21 (01:05:58):
Can do this, I have enough.

Speaker 29 (01:06:00):
I thought it was more like a pride thing.

Speaker 55 (01:06:02):
And plus it was like in a younger crowd in
front of a ton of people, so it wasn't like
as the street. He and I would never do that
now because he also has like some watches that look like,
you know, like the fake rollucks you talked about your
wife having, and.

Speaker 39 (01:06:15):
They look real.

Speaker 22 (01:06:16):
So we don't point it out.

Speaker 55 (01:06:18):
But if somebody asked, we're like twenty bucks off Ammazon,
like I said.

Speaker 3 (01:06:22):
I would tell. But also if some Raindow person came
up to me and was like, that bag is one
hundred percent fake, I'd be like, okay.

Speaker 5 (01:06:28):
By the way, by the way, the truly good fakes
are not twenty bucks anymore, Like no, they're still kind
of you're still playing hundreds of dollars, but you're just
not paying thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. Can
I say something where this is another analogy, I'm the
analogy guy. We go to me telling you whether or
not that's real or fake is similar to the do

(01:06:50):
you tell somebody that you're on a weight loss shot
or if you get botax, or if you get botax
another one or somebody asked you, because I think that
I think people asking personally is probably too personal.

Speaker 4 (01:07:01):
But I think in a lot of respects, I think
that if.

Speaker 5 (01:07:04):
You tell somebody, you're telling somebody because you're not embarrassed
by what you're doing. Right, Like I listen, I think
your health is your health. And I think, honestly, if
you're on a weight loss shot and you're doing it
for your health or you're doing it for vanity who cares,
at least your health is going to be better doing it.
And I think that there are sometimes there are people
and it bothers me sometimes that there are people that

(01:07:27):
won't even tell they're like family members, And I think
that this the sad thing is I think there's some
family members that probably should be on the shot too,
you know what I mean, I really do. Like I
I've talked about my experience and what it's done for me.
Like I just did blood tests and my blood test
was great, give yourself shout out to good blood tests.

Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
Right, yeah, but you know what, I don't even know
what my blood type is. I don't even look at it.

Speaker 9 (01:07:56):
I am.

Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
I am a plus positive. I don't know. I don't know,
but I could just be. I don't know that, but
I do know if it's real or fake, I can
tell you. I can tell you that.

Speaker 5 (01:08:14):
Hold on a second. I want to take these calls
real quick. Steven's out with us. Steven, are you there
all right?

Speaker 36 (01:08:19):
So I used to work for funeral homes a long
time ago, and we sold very expensive caskets, and uh,
to be honest with you, it was it was pretty expensive.

Speaker 16 (01:08:31):
Well, we had these This couple came in, They're like, well,
we need an expensive casket for our father, and he
the castle was around maybe fifteen to twenty thousand dollars.
It was really nice, nice it's casket. But the problem
is though, when they saw the price range it was
a cherry oak, it was.

Speaker 36 (01:08:51):
It was a very expensive one.

Speaker 16 (01:08:54):
And they looked at the price and the guy pulled
me off to the side. He's like, listen, I love
my great my father that very much, but is there
anything like a knockoff that looks.

Speaker 4 (01:09:04):
Exactly like do they have it?

Speaker 36 (01:09:10):
We can put him in and looks just like this,
And I'm like, we do, but it's not as good.

Speaker 16 (01:09:15):
And he's like, well, you know, can we.

Speaker 3 (01:09:17):
Just say that it's this and yeah, do people care
about is that a thing that's interesting?

Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
It's your loved one, Like they're going, it's going right
in the ground. I'm not saying I care, but some
people might hold on brown.

Speaker 36 (01:09:31):
It's just right to the ground and you've only seen
it for that time period of the funeral.

Speaker 5 (01:09:36):
Hey, like you know, Stephen, we have a we have
a misfit whose name is funeral home Tom. He's on
the phone with us right now.

Speaker 4 (01:09:44):
Tom.

Speaker 9 (01:09:44):
Are you there, I'm here.

Speaker 4 (01:09:47):
Say hi to Steven. Stephen, you're no longer in the
funeral home game.

Speaker 9 (01:09:51):
No, I'm not.

Speaker 4 (01:09:53):
Steven was talking to.

Speaker 5 (01:09:54):
Us about selling fake caskets or fake fake you know
boxing is to drop you into the Tom.

Speaker 4 (01:10:01):
Do you guys have any fakes at your funeral home? No,
we go with all reputable dealers.

Speaker 9 (01:10:07):
Yeah, we don't do anything like that.

Speaker 43 (01:10:10):
I want to absolutely one baitstoos one of the company
gets the reputable dealer takes.

Speaker 4 (01:10:18):
Real quick.

Speaker 5 (01:10:18):
I want to ask you a question, and we're going
to play the funeral home price is right? What what
is the most expensive UH casket that you can put
somebody in, And what's the least least expensive?

Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
Pretty much just a box I'm gonna.

Speaker 9 (01:10:31):
Throw you in.

Speaker 43 (01:10:32):
Well, at one point I had a castet that was
twenty grand, those gold plays with a blue velvet intereior.
There's another one called the Platinum, which is very hard
to get. That's about twenty grand. But on the average,
a cheerry like you guys are talking about, you're talking
about sixty grand.

Speaker 10 (01:10:53):
Well, I'm gonna tell my family get one on Amazon
or costing.

Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
Right, then let me toss you what's a cheap zero dollars?

Speaker 4 (01:11:03):
What's a cheap box? I'm just going to throw you in.

Speaker 44 (01:11:08):
How much.

Speaker 9 (01:11:11):
You can get a.

Speaker 4 (01:11:13):
Yeah, you're going in that.

Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
My dad would be upset with me if I paid
any more than that.

Speaker 4 (01:11:20):
Can I tell you though? I mean, this is a
personal story here, but my uh, some of my dad died.

Speaker 5 (01:11:25):
His wife, my sister, and myself and my brother in
law went to the funeral home, and Chelsea went to
the funeral home.

Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
And she was going to get one of the lower
rangey ones, and that was to do it.

Speaker 5 (01:11:39):
My brother in law and I put money up to
put him in something nicer, just because I knew my
dad was like a Cadillac guy.

Speaker 4 (01:11:45):
He loved his Cadillac. And I was like, we're throwing
him in the Saturn, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:11:51):
He's in the Saturn for the Lexus he is.

Speaker 5 (01:11:53):
But I at least felt like I owed it to
my dad, and I was, you know, I'm just doing okay.
I was on the radio and stuff like that. My
brother in law was in construction, chain stuff, and we
both sat there and just like, well, we're going to
give him whatever, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
So we ended up up in the uh the casket
a little bit.

Speaker 14 (01:12:09):
Yeah, I have ay have a family right now that
uh that last time I worked with and we call
them the Amazon generation where they actually buying the casket
is now off the Amazon themselves and bringing them in
a funeral home.

Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
You can do that?

Speaker 9 (01:12:23):
Is that?

Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
Okay? Really?

Speaker 9 (01:12:25):
Buy by law. You can buy a casket.

Speaker 43 (01:12:28):
You can make a casket whatever it is, as long
as it needs to specifications. You can bring them into
a funeral home.

Speaker 5 (01:12:33):
Wait a second, I could have had my brother in
law who's in construction make my dad's casket. I would
have actually been better. Hey, great question for you guys,
because we talked about this earlier this morning. Can I
buy a groupon for a cast? Do they have groupons
for these things?

Speaker 9 (01:12:48):
Well, you can set up what's called the pre need.
I guaranteed it. Today's Bryce.

Speaker 43 (01:12:52):
If you go to a funeral and we say I
want to do a pre need, it's called a buy down,
and somebody that has money or whatever, if they're going
to get sick going to a nursing home or something,
and they have to.

Speaker 9 (01:13:02):
Do what's called the buyout.

Speaker 43 (01:13:03):
Otherwise Medicare and medicable lost all your money before they
pay for it.

Speaker 4 (01:13:07):
Here's what I want to do.

Speaker 5 (01:13:08):
I'm gonna buy one right now, and it's gonna be
my couch for the next you know how many years
until I die, and then we're gonna be buried in it.

Speaker 4 (01:13:14):
Hold on, Shaye, where did you see a casket? A
used casket?

Speaker 38 (01:13:18):
You on Marketplace?

Speaker 25 (01:13:20):
It was like six hundred bucks.

Speaker 56 (01:13:21):
I was like, Gramago, that's fantastic. I'm gonna buy one
on market Place. Oh, I wonder if it's like selling
your couch.

Speaker 5 (01:13:32):
If like eight hundred people are fighting for the same
use casket, and do they come over to your house
to pick it up.

Speaker 9 (01:13:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:13:40):
That's amazing that's awesome.

Speaker 35 (01:13:45):
For Halloween, I'm going as the person I claim to
be on Facebook. Hallo from Mojo in the Morning. It's
time for more Mojo Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
All right, it's Mojo on the Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (01:14:05):
So this is something that when keV was telling like
a couple of different stories, he kind of passed by
this one and I was like, wait a second, that's
got to be the topic right there, ke your son
Josiah went to go get a haircut.

Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
Yeah, he wouldn't got his hair done. So Josiah is.

Speaker 10 (01:14:25):
He wants to like maintain his youth, and I think
a huge reason of it is because he wants to
be a voice actor and he's already doing an amazing
job with voice actor. They just dropped something called The Basics.
They got over a million views on YouTube, and like
Fiday's like, he's he's really into this. And he's a
child voice actor, so he's understood watching some of his
favorite shows, the turnover of his favorite actors once they

(01:14:47):
start to mature in their voice deepens. So Josiah is,
I won't say really concerned, but the thought is there
of like what if my voice changed because.

Speaker 4 (01:14:57):
Years old about to be thirteen, and.

Speaker 10 (01:14:58):
He, you know, heightens his voice sometimes for these characters,
and he doesn't want it to change. So maintaining his
youth is a big deal. Josiah has saw hair growing
on various parts of his bodies. Some places he's okay with.
One of the places he's not is like his mustache.
He does not want a mustache. This has been communicated
between he and I multiple times before.

Speaker 4 (01:15:21):
Damn, can I shave my mustache? Absolutely not.

Speaker 10 (01:15:23):
I even tell him when you shave, it's gonna grow
back even quicker, hoping that that would deter him from
wanting to shave it in the first place. Conversation after
conversation after conversation, I take Josiah to the hair Salayes
and he got a lot of hair. So he got
these two strand twists, you know, you know, so he
get his hair twisted. U all of a sudden, after
I take him back home, after you get his hair,
I take him to his mom's house because she can
takehim to school in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:15:44):
I can't. She calls me on the phone was like,
did you know Josiah had his mustache shaved? I said what?

Speaker 10 (01:15:50):
Because this has been a conversation of him and I
before he shaves his own mustache. No, the damn hair
addresser did.

Speaker 4 (01:15:58):
Wow.

Speaker 10 (01:15:59):
I feel like she should have asked me. Yeah, No,
I'm not. I think more of the onus is on
Josiah because he knows that that's something that we've talked
about before and that's not what you're supposed to do.
But also blame should be placed on this grown ass.
Let me not saying because gonna have to have a commerce.
I wasn't on this beautiful young lady who I've grown
to have an amazing relationship with.

Speaker 4 (01:16:19):
She loves Josiah, so I'm sure it was harmless.

Speaker 10 (01:16:21):
She thought it was probably okay, but I still feel
like she should have asked, as a father with a
young child, is this okay?

Speaker 8 (01:16:27):
Do you think Joe asked her to?

Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
Absolutely, she didn't just do it out of her own thought,
But even then she should have been like, Dad, is
this okay?

Speaker 4 (01:16:35):
And crazy thing? I was there? No, let me say this.

Speaker 10 (01:16:39):
When I dropped Josiah off, I left for about thirty
minutes and then I came back. She had to have
cut it while I was in the salon, so it
would have been nothing for her to look over and
be like, hey, Cam, he wants d da da da da.
But again, I'm thinking that she's just doing it, like
she's not thinking it's that big of a deal. But
I still feel like that's a boundary you shouldn't cross

(01:17:00):
without having the parents' permission.

Speaker 4 (01:17:01):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (01:17:02):
Wow, Another question, So why are you not, like, why
don't you want him to shave it? What is like
a normal age for a guy to start shaving?

Speaker 8 (01:17:11):
I don't even know.

Speaker 10 (01:17:12):
I mean, I don't know that either, but I know twelve,
for damn show. Ain't it like allow yourself to grow,
allow yourself to mature, allow yourself to like become the
person you're meant to become.

Speaker 3 (01:17:22):
Once you start to do it, you're doing it every
every day, right, every other day.

Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
I don't know, can I Can I pop in here?

Speaker 23 (01:17:28):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:17:29):
Yeah, I don't like your face right now? No, I'd
like to pop in because I was the kid with
the excessive hair.

Speaker 57 (01:17:36):
Man.

Speaker 5 (01:17:36):
I basically had full on mustache and beard when I
was like in the sixth grade, all right, Josiah's in
middle school right now. I had hair underneath my arms
that literally looked like I had like a gorilla growing
under in there. And so I to play basketball. Kids
would not want to guard me because I had so
much hair in my body. Long story short, my dad

(01:17:57):
would not let me shave my hair like you would
let Josiah let the kid have his hair off. Why
but I don't think I listen. I don't think it's
the right that that woman does it without asking you.
I don't know the story behind that, other than as
a kid, I don't want my hair like you don't
want to go to school as the kid with the mustache.
And any guys with the mustaches when you're a little kid,

(01:18:18):
call us.

Speaker 4 (01:18:18):
Up and tell us.

Speaker 12 (01:18:19):
I remember.

Speaker 10 (01:18:20):
I remember when I was in ninth grade, my boy Thomas,
shout out Thomas. I want to say, Thomas had a
full beard. Yeah, the girls that was attractive. I listen,
I'm gonna say this to you. I used to get
carded the other way when I would.

Speaker 4 (01:18:35):
Go into school.

Speaker 5 (01:18:35):
They were like, excuse me, dads aren't at him, Asia,
what's up? It's Mojoe in the morning. What do you
think about their hairdresser that shaved Josiah's.

Speaker 25 (01:18:46):
Face, hedy, Good morning y'all.

Speaker 29 (01:18:50):
So I feel like that's a complete no. You always
speak to the parent first before you do something. My
son he has super curly here.

Speaker 14 (01:18:59):
I love it.

Speaker 29 (01:19:00):
Always headed along we His father lived in Kentucky. He
went down to Kentucky for the summer and came back
looking like a little bill.

Speaker 16 (01:19:11):
You.

Speaker 39 (01:19:13):
I was eerie.

Speaker 29 (01:19:15):
I'm texting what is going on? And a stepmom did it,
but she blamed his dad and like my son was
like five at the time, He's like, no, miss Shadda
did where are we lying?

Speaker 22 (01:19:28):
Because she just didn't know.

Speaker 29 (01:19:29):
And understand how to take care of his hair.

Speaker 56 (01:19:31):
Lived Still, it's most definitely something you talked about parents
about that.

Speaker 4 (01:19:37):
What's up, Rebecca? How you doing?

Speaker 26 (01:19:40):
Hey, how are you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
Good morning morning, what's happening?

Speaker 26 (01:19:43):
So I used to be a barber, and so I
did a lot of men's haircuts, and anytime a parent
would bring in their child, and a lot of times
they'd want mullets, especially hockey season. Some parents were cool
if that, some parents weren't. But anytime there was a
child in my chair, I would always verify with the
parents exactly what can they have done and what can't

(01:20:04):
they have done? But I feel like maybe that should
have happened.

Speaker 5 (01:20:08):
Yeah, for sure. Well, and the other thing too is
I don't know a full disclosure. Maybe Josiah said, yeah,
my dad said it's okay to shave it. But even
still he's twelve, you able to ask what's up, Michelle,
you better not have done that.

Speaker 26 (01:20:20):
Good morning. Well, my brother got a razor kit for
eighth grade graduation, so he with harry at thirteen. So
I really have a hard time you telling your son
he can't shave when it's something he really wants to do.
Because my parents didn't want me to shave my legs,

(01:20:41):
so guess what, I snuck and did it and was
not taught the right way and ended up with razor
burns so bad. It's important to teach your kids the
right way, especially if they want to. Shaving your mustacher
is not a big deal for you, but it is
for him.

Speaker 4 (01:20:59):
I mean, come down on you, man, Okay.

Speaker 26 (01:21:05):
My parents were terrible with me growing up and doing.

Speaker 13 (01:21:14):
I begged to shave my legs because I was the
only girl like Rossia Middle School in gym class that
would sit I would. I remember looking like left and
right and being like, why do my legs look like
so hairy and everybody else's are smooth.

Speaker 10 (01:21:27):
I agree with some of the points that she brought up.
But I also want Josiah to grow up and be
comfortable in his skin. And if his reason is to
maintain his youth for acting, there's only so much that
you can control, Like changing your voice, that's one thing,
but like shaving your face just so you can like
stay young and look young.

Speaker 4 (01:21:46):
You're twelve years old.

Speaker 3 (01:21:48):
I saw him the week before last. I did not
that he had a mustache at all.

Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
What's up, Tyler?

Speaker 9 (01:21:56):
Ah?

Speaker 36 (01:21:56):
Right?

Speaker 58 (01:21:57):
So I was in seventh or eighth grade. I was
the Harry Kitting School on a pretty prominent mustache, and
my teacher pulled me aside and said I had to shave.
It was inappropriate to have it in school. Got my
parents involved and just said I had to keep it
shaving and take off the mustache.

Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Wow, you what's crazy that the teacher can comment like, yeah,
it is interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:22:21):
There are some I don't know.

Speaker 25 (01:22:23):
There were some some kids that.

Speaker 5 (01:22:24):
I went to school with that were told in high
school that they had to shave, like they were told
by the teachers that they couldn't have because we went
to a private Catholic school, so you couldn't have mustaches,
you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:22:35):
Like that was it.

Speaker 5 (01:22:35):
And these kids had full on mustaches. One kid had
like a little hitler, And I was gonna say, I'm
not lying, like you not be walking around with that
damn thing around. What's up, Tiviny, I's.

Speaker 22 (01:22:50):
It going, guys?

Speaker 4 (01:22:51):
What's going on?

Speaker 49 (01:22:53):
I just wanted to comment because I feel like that
kind of just got you, guys.

Speaker 48 (01:22:58):
Take a different approach to this and look it from
his point of view.

Speaker 39 (01:23:01):
All right, talk to me, like, how would you feel?

Speaker 4 (01:23:03):
Huh say talk to me. I'm listening. Talk to me.

Speaker 42 (01:23:06):
Yeah, So like how would how would it make you feel?

Speaker 55 (01:23:08):
Like for yourself if you didn't want let's just say
your montash.

Speaker 34 (01:23:11):
I haven't seen you recently, so I wouldn't know if
you have one.

Speaker 26 (01:23:13):
But you didn't want that, and then people were telling
you you couldn't do that, Like how uncomfortable that would
make you?

Speaker 10 (01:23:18):
What's this is, Tiffany, Tiffany, I'm thirty five damn years old.

Speaker 48 (01:23:22):
The same, it's the same.

Speaker 23 (01:23:25):
It's the same concept.

Speaker 39 (01:23:26):
If you don't want someone, you want to your kids.

Speaker 10 (01:23:29):
I know, but like these kids, we cannot make these
kids adults so fast and just give them free reign
on making every choice and every decision of their life.

Speaker 4 (01:23:38):
He's twelve years old. You living under my room? Somebody,
don't don't say don't say no no.

Speaker 29 (01:23:47):
I love it.

Speaker 4 (01:23:47):
By the way, I love it. I love it.

Speaker 5 (01:23:49):
You pulled the you're living under my room. Listen to
Hope situation. Hope, what did what did your tell your
story about your daughter?

Speaker 16 (01:23:58):
Hi?

Speaker 49 (01:23:58):
First time, long time.

Speaker 42 (01:24:02):
In the elementary school.

Speaker 49 (01:24:05):
But my daughter's grandmother, her dad's grandmother, actually shaved her
arm pits when I sent her over there for Bible camp,
and I was very pissed off.

Speaker 5 (01:24:16):
She didn't want to wait, is this your your grandmother?
What your grandmother shared?

Speaker 9 (01:24:21):
Nope?

Speaker 49 (01:24:22):
Her dad's grandmother.

Speaker 5 (01:24:23):
Oh wait a second, her dad's grandma. Are you and
the dad together?

Speaker 16 (01:24:27):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:24:28):
Oh, so your exes grandma. But her father's you know,
mom shaved your daughter's arm pits and didn't ask for
permission from you Bible? Did she ask for permission? Did
she ask for permission from the dad?

Speaker 49 (01:24:46):
Nope, she didn't ask anybody.

Speaker 9 (01:24:48):
I called her dad off.

Speaker 49 (01:24:50):
I sent her like a very kind message saying, hey,
I would appreciate next time, you know, a conversation.

Speaker 34 (01:24:56):
First, and she went off.

Speaker 42 (01:24:57):
She was you know, how dare you and and my daughter.

Speaker 29 (01:25:01):
Was not happy either.

Speaker 4 (01:25:03):
Was it like religious reasons?

Speaker 29 (01:25:05):
She just thought it was she she's a little old school,
so she just thought it was like not attractive looking
on her.

Speaker 4 (01:25:11):
Oh yeah, how thick was it?

Speaker 3 (01:25:15):
That's something as as a mom. So is there a
moment you want to share with your daughter for the
first time? You know, I would be yeah, that's something
that a mom should do with their daughter, and a dad.
She's saving your legs another one. You should do that
with your daughter for the first time.

Speaker 4 (01:25:31):
Listen to this.

Speaker 5 (01:25:32):
Sarah took her daughter to go get a haircut. Your
daughter wanted what kind of a cut?

Speaker 48 (01:25:40):
Good morning?

Speaker 33 (01:25:40):
She wanted like the door of the Explorer, the real
short haircut.

Speaker 4 (01:25:44):
And you didn't like that idea.

Speaker 42 (01:25:45):
Super curly hair.

Speaker 33 (01:25:47):
So when they let her go back because it was COVID,
they didn't want parents as long as the kid sat still,
and she brought her out and she had a full blown,
side to side, curly little afro.

Speaker 4 (01:25:57):
Wait, and you didn't ask for that, absolutely not.

Speaker 33 (01:26:01):
It was really clear that I wanted it shoulder length,
you know at least, and she came out short. But
you know that the lesson out of this is that
my daughter walked out with the world's biggest smile, and
she felt like a million bucks. Although I wanted to
be upset, being upset with it made her feel less
than amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:26:18):
Yeah, well did Josiah have Was he happy that he
was shaving? I didn't even look you know the craziest part.
He didn't even look different. That's the craziest part. See, then,
why are you worried?

Speaker 4 (01:26:29):
Because we got until today.

Speaker 3 (01:26:31):
He's gonna look like you.

Speaker 4 (01:26:33):
Got start healthy habits.

Speaker 23 (01:26:34):
Man.

Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
I'm going to get him some after shave. We're gonna
get him there.

Speaker 5 (01:26:37):
I'm gonna take Josiah. We're going over to that shaving
store that's in the mall that nobody shops at, and
I don't know how it's still open, and I'm going
to take him over there, and I'm going to get
him a whole little kid. You're the same guy that
has probably offered my son orgs.

Speaker 4 (01:26:55):
You offer me right.

Speaker 2 (01:27:00):
In the morning coming up in minutes.

Speaker 5 (01:27:04):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. And we
all know, uh, what type of person beyoncea is. She's
a great person tales, But this is this is another
tale in the fact that her dad and mom By
the way, are they talking to you any more?

Speaker 12 (01:27:24):
Yes, we're good.

Speaker 8 (01:27:25):
Now, we're all set.

Speaker 5 (01:27:26):
Beyonca's mom and dad were very upset by the last
topic that she did on our show. They thought it
made her look bad, but also I think made the
family name look bad.

Speaker 12 (01:27:36):
Yeah, but you know what, something's happened in life, bro,
I'm just being real.

Speaker 4 (01:27:39):
Okay, that family could never look bad. Yeah, that family
is amazing and Beyonca is amazing.

Speaker 5 (01:27:43):
Well, now her dad is upset over her Halloween costume,
and we want the listeners to tell us if they
think that her Halloween costume is inappropriate.

Speaker 4 (01:27:52):
You went to a party over.

Speaker 11 (01:27:53):
The weekend, to Halloween party over the weekend, and I
just got a last minute. Well, I had this costume
in my closet and I was trying to be like
Kim k from the two thousands. Okay, So I had
this juicy gutur like you know those velvet track suits.

Speaker 3 (01:28:06):
Everybody I have one of those.

Speaker 12 (01:28:09):
So I was like, this is the first time I'll
ever get to wear it. Perfect.

Speaker 11 (01:28:12):
So I wore it and I'm walking downstairs and my
dad is like, you are not wearing that out.

Speaker 12 (01:28:17):
You look trashy, You look ghetto. You can not be
wearing that. I'm like, I think this is cute.

Speaker 11 (01:28:22):
I think it was very It was a very modest costume.
Usually girls wear just like the leotards or whatever with
their butt.

Speaker 12 (01:28:28):
Out and the fish nets. I wasn't doing that. I
feel like I looked pretty conservative. This was the costume.

Speaker 4 (01:28:33):
Yeah, oh my god, you look like Ki.

Speaker 12 (01:28:37):
This was something I could wear.

Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
Oh that's why was he upset about that? Because on
the butt it's very covered.

Speaker 12 (01:28:44):
On the butt it says.

Speaker 11 (01:28:45):
Juicy ones girls wear for Halloween. Yes, that's exactly what
I'm saying. Girls wear so much worse. And I thought,
I'm pretty much wearing a pajama set out to the bar.

Speaker 5 (01:28:55):
So knowing that you just pissed your parents off so bad,
including your mom. Usually she does not get as mad.
Yeah gets you took that outfit off and did not
go out in it?

Speaker 9 (01:29:05):
Did you?

Speaker 45 (01:29:05):
No?

Speaker 12 (01:29:06):
I still wear it out.

Speaker 11 (01:29:07):
I was pulled like a seventeen year old move sneaking
out the front door. Bypassed them in the kitchen, and
I snuck out.

Speaker 12 (01:29:13):
In the costume.

Speaker 4 (01:29:14):
What did your mom say about costume?

Speaker 12 (01:29:16):
She thought it was cute. She's to wear this, She's
to wear this all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:29:19):
Really, yeah? And now your mom was one of the
original Kardashians.

Speaker 8 (01:29:22):
Yeah, she was.

Speaker 12 (01:29:23):
And then I'm like the little babies. Now I'm like
Northwest or whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:29:25):
Her name is.

Speaker 11 (01:29:27):
But for real, I thought it was like a little
annoying because I'm twenty two about to be twenty three
wearing that as a Halloween costume.

Speaker 5 (01:29:35):
Can a dad of a twenty three year old or
twenty two year old have say so? And what you're
wearing and stuff?

Speaker 3 (01:29:41):
I mean, my dad still comments and I'm older than
twenty two for.

Speaker 5 (01:29:46):
Just by a few years. Our buddy Neil is here
right now from Carl's Golf Land. Neil, your daughters you got, yeah, yeah, Neil, Neil,
come over here and tell us.

Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
Do you have twenty two year old daughter? Yes? And
do you can you tell her what to wear and
what not to wear?

Speaker 14 (01:30:02):
Now?

Speaker 4 (01:30:02):
Although she is if she's under your roof, you can,
can't you?

Speaker 21 (01:30:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:30:06):
That's but you know it's different though, Neil.

Speaker 5 (01:30:09):
Well, but you understand, O'Neil that she comes from a
Chaldian family and there's no dad. She's gonna be fifty
and her dad's still going to tell her what to do.

Speaker 13 (01:30:17):
I think your dad can have an opinion, but you
can't say you're not walking out in that.

Speaker 7 (01:30:22):
Well.

Speaker 11 (01:30:22):
The thing was, I thought my outfit was just way
more conservative from what I've woren previously yours, Like in college, MSU,
I was wearing the fishnets and stuff, but now I
don't do that.

Speaker 2 (01:30:32):
No, I'm looking at the picture.

Speaker 12 (01:30:33):
It looks it looks so spot on. It's like very cute.
It's a tank top and then a sweatsuit.

Speaker 7 (01:30:39):
I think it is about you living under his roof,
Like at least for me, when I was living with
my parents, out of respect to them, I followed their rules,
but then once I moved out, it was like.

Speaker 2 (01:30:50):
I want.

Speaker 12 (01:30:55):
My dermatologist.

Speaker 3 (01:31:00):
Let's call OL.

Speaker 5 (01:31:03):
Eight four four Mojo live eight four four six six
five sixty five four eight is our telephone number? Does
Beyonca's dad have a say so over her Halloween costume?

Speaker 4 (01:31:11):
David?

Speaker 9 (01:31:14):
David or Nathan?

Speaker 4 (01:31:15):
Is your name? Which one is? Is your name?

Speaker 9 (01:31:18):
Nathan? Hi?

Speaker 4 (01:31:19):
Nathan? What do you think?

Speaker 9 (01:31:21):
I think that that costume is not that bad. However,
if she's spreading in your house, she's gotta go by
your rules, right.

Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Well, you know saying yeah, he's keeping her fed and warm.

Speaker 11 (01:31:34):
Okay, but there is no other costume unless I was
to wear a garbage bag.

Speaker 15 (01:31:38):
That's more conservative than that, Like for real, I get it,
I get it, I get it.

Speaker 9 (01:31:42):
There there's nothing wrong with that costume. But yeah, he
should have says what to his daughter goes out and
if she's have you.

Speaker 5 (01:31:49):
Ever thought of going to Spirit Halloween? They got eight
thousand of.

Speaker 4 (01:31:52):
Them around here?

Speaker 12 (01:31:52):
Those costumes, I feel like they're worse.

Speaker 4 (01:31:55):
Yeah, I love take care of yourself, buddy, full of.

Speaker 8 (01:32:00):
Smith and wear one of those blow up.

Speaker 3 (01:32:02):
Things he's going to do years ago for Halloween.

Speaker 12 (01:32:06):
I was one of those blow up things.

Speaker 4 (01:32:07):
Shout out all the film was out there.

Speaker 5 (01:32:09):
I text her here. This one is from seven three four.
It says Beyonca's dad has no say so. She is
a grown adult. Once you vote, you get no say
so anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:32:21):
Don't drink alcohol, so I'm really adults.

Speaker 4 (01:32:23):
What's going on?

Speaker 9 (01:32:23):
Joe?

Speaker 31 (01:32:25):
Hey?

Speaker 9 (01:32:25):
What's Mojo?

Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
How you doing?

Speaker 9 (01:32:27):
Buddy?

Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
Good morning?

Speaker 9 (01:32:29):
Not too bad?

Speaker 54 (01:32:30):
Do you.

Speaker 9 (01:32:32):
Expected dad here? Okay, baby's doing a week. Okay. Her
dad absolutely has to say what she's wearing because she
has to sneak out of his house.

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
Yeah, when she did sneak out of his house.

Speaker 9 (01:32:43):
He lives in his house and he pays her bills,
and she's not technically an adult yet she didn't get
to make that.

Speaker 4 (01:32:50):
Joe, do you know what you're having? Are you having
a boy or girl?

Speaker 9 (01:32:54):
I'm a girl?

Speaker 23 (01:32:55):
Man?

Speaker 4 (01:32:55):
Oh man? Are you ready for these days?

Speaker 9 (01:32:59):
I feel bad for I do.

Speaker 58 (01:33:00):
She looks at you know, her mother's gorgeous, so I
can only imagine the type of you know, restraint she's
gonna have.

Speaker 4 (01:33:06):
Wait? Does does your dad ever tell your mom what
she can wear and what she can't wear?

Speaker 14 (01:33:10):
No?

Speaker 11 (01:33:11):
But my dad always comes up my mom like, oh,
your book's good in that cherry.

Speaker 4 (01:33:14):
Like you know, your dad says what he says.

Speaker 12 (01:33:16):
Your but looks good in that cherry if she's wearing
something to your mom?

Speaker 4 (01:33:23):
Are your dad? Are your mom and dad are pretty?

Speaker 9 (01:33:25):
Like?

Speaker 4 (01:33:25):
Your dad's a little frisky, isn't he still?

Speaker 12 (01:33:27):
For sure?

Speaker 9 (01:33:29):
Question?

Speaker 8 (01:33:29):
Bianca? Does he treat your brother the same way?

Speaker 9 (01:33:32):
No?

Speaker 12 (01:33:33):
He does not care about what my brother does, what
he wears.

Speaker 8 (01:33:36):
He can be younger than you, righte?

Speaker 4 (01:33:38):
Wow, isn't that what? That's how it is?

Speaker 9 (01:33:39):
Though?

Speaker 5 (01:33:40):
In Kaldian families, I know the brothers hold on a second.
Beanca's dad, Alison, what's up about?

Speaker 4 (01:33:46):
How you doing?

Speaker 9 (01:33:48):
What's up, Moti? How you doing, buddy?

Speaker 4 (01:33:50):
I'm fantastic.

Speaker 5 (01:33:51):
Al Now, al tell me why you thought that Beyonca's
costume was inappropriate?

Speaker 4 (01:33:56):
Why did you not like it?

Speaker 9 (01:33:58):
I don't like what she wears. She needed to wear
something more appropriate.

Speaker 3 (01:34:03):
But that was very appropriate. There was nothing like her
boobies weren't showing. Her butts weren't but weren't showing.

Speaker 40 (01:34:09):
I don't know.

Speaker 53 (01:34:10):
She need to wear something a little more more to
fit her her physique.

Speaker 3 (01:34:14):
I guess it was too tight. Do you think it
was too tight?

Speaker 9 (01:34:18):
It looks too too tight yet, I think.

Speaker 11 (01:34:20):
That's the cherry on the top, was the juicy bedazzled
back and the.

Speaker 3 (01:34:24):
You don't like the writing on the butt?

Speaker 22 (01:34:26):
Hell?

Speaker 39 (01:34:27):
No?

Speaker 9 (01:34:29):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:34:29):
Now, al Bianca said that your beautiful wife would wear
outfits like this back in the day.

Speaker 4 (01:34:35):
Were you okay with that?

Speaker 40 (01:34:37):
Absolutely not?

Speaker 9 (01:34:38):
Never were altered like that.

Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
In the closet?

Speaker 3 (01:34:42):
Yes, But would you like it if if she did?

Speaker 59 (01:34:45):
Now?

Speaker 9 (01:34:47):
No, she had to wear something a little bit better
to fit for her age. I mean, not something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:34:53):
Yeah, okay, I meant.

Speaker 9 (01:34:56):
He got writing all over her ass and everybody could
hit home.

Speaker 3 (01:34:59):
Yeah, I was talking about your wife, not no, no,
I think he was talking about.

Speaker 36 (01:35:03):
His wife tool something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:35:09):
Well, I think Beyonca though. This is the thing. I
first off, I think that she's the reason you got
high blood pressure.

Speaker 9 (01:35:14):
I just want you to know that I think so.

Speaker 5 (01:35:20):
But but I think now that she's gotten back in
your good graces after the last topic that she did
on the radio, she should abide by everything, just at
least for a couple of months right now.

Speaker 4 (01:35:30):
You know, there's a little bit of a probationary period.

Speaker 3 (01:35:32):
He should have like a nine o'clock perfume.

Speaker 5 (01:35:35):
Now, she said, she claims that you want her to
move out of the house. I can't imagine that I
would not want Beyonca out of your house because I'm
worried about then what she does.

Speaker 60 (01:35:46):
You know, if she wasn't that goofy it again, I'll
pay a whole year in an advantage.

Speaker 14 (01:35:52):
Did you hear that?

Speaker 5 (01:35:54):
In a van man, he'd pay for an apartment for you, Bianca,
But you're goofy.

Speaker 4 (01:35:58):
That's hold on.

Speaker 5 (01:36:00):
Kaitlyn is on with us, Caitlyn, you're on with Bianca's dad.
Al say hello, Kaitlyn.

Speaker 23 (01:36:04):
Hi el hi mojo hi.

Speaker 34 (01:36:08):
To say.

Speaker 42 (01:36:08):
I'm thirty five years old, married with two children, living
out of my parents' house, and I come from an
Arab household, and my dad will.

Speaker 32 (01:36:17):
Still care what I wear.

Speaker 42 (01:36:18):
You bet something looks inappropriate to him. He'll let me
know and say, oh no, I think you know, whatever
you're wearing right now is not good. You need to
go change it.

Speaker 7 (01:36:26):
That's always funny to me, is like dad's when they
won't let the significant others sleep with them but they
already have kids.

Speaker 8 (01:36:33):
Things like that.

Speaker 12 (01:36:34):
Kaitlyn's not helping my case.

Speaker 4 (01:36:35):
Here either, by the way.

Speaker 9 (01:36:36):
No, you know, you know it's true.

Speaker 42 (01:36:38):
My husband doesn't care what I wear at all. But
my dad if he sees me, like you know, he's
watching my kids or something, and I go.

Speaker 5 (01:36:44):
Over and he's like, oh no, because you will always
be Caitlyn and Bionca daddy's little girl. And daddy's little
girl doesn't have juicy on her ass, right.

Speaker 12 (01:36:55):
I was just trying to be comfort.

Speaker 33 (01:36:58):
Yeah, I'm a millennial and he did.

Speaker 34 (01:36:59):
Not like on my ank.

Speaker 5 (01:37:01):
Yeah, I get it, so all right, Well, by Caitlyn,
I appreciate it. Al It's always great to have you here.
I promised you that we're trying to keep your daughter
in line. Although she did pull a little prank on
me yesterday.

Speaker 9 (01:37:14):
I'll see that I'll go better.

Speaker 4 (01:37:16):
First, thank you, and then one and second? Did you laugh?

Speaker 35 (01:37:21):
What did you do?

Speaker 9 (01:37:22):
I was laughing because I saw sitting on the ship
look like Zach for a second.

Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
Yeah, you know, I'm telling you. I serious, swear to you.

Speaker 5 (01:37:32):
I think that I'm on blood pressure medication because of Bianca, just.

Speaker 4 (01:37:36):
Like you are too. Al I love you, Buddy, I
love you too, Bud. All right, we'll talk to you
the show.

Speaker 35 (01:37:43):
I was going to dress up a series for Halloween,
but I already get asked stupid questions all day.

Speaker 4 (01:37:49):
From Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (01:37:52):
Mojo Big One.

Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
God, let me take go back to the beginning.

Speaker 3 (01:38:06):
Is alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:38:10):
You're a Dodo ahead, don't let's go.

Speaker 35 (01:38:19):
He's talking on social media. Is all fun and games
until you accidentally hit the light button.

Speaker 2 (01:38:26):
Halloween.

Speaker 4 (01:38:27):
From Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:38:28):
Mojo in the Morning Show, Anna, the newest member of
the Mojo in the Morning Show. This is interesting because
I'm learning a lot about you, like I've learned a
lot about you and your family. I've learned a lot
about the jobs that you've had prior to obviously working
here this morning, I learned. And maybe it's because you've
always worn long sleeves. I learned about her tattoos and

(01:38:52):
our pre show meeting.

Speaker 8 (01:38:54):
They're all little tats, though, So how many tats do
you have? Let me get at least ten?

Speaker 4 (01:38:59):
Okay, at least And I was gonna say, sorry, I read.

Speaker 13 (01:39:03):
Because you have your fingers? Are you counting your fingers
as separate ones?

Speaker 54 (01:39:08):
Are?

Speaker 4 (01:39:08):
Where are all of your tats?

Speaker 8 (01:39:10):
Hands? Ankles? I have one on my booty cheek.

Speaker 3 (01:39:15):
Really, what's on your booty cheek?

Speaker 4 (01:39:17):
Let's guess? Can we guess? I like guessing that stuff
like this your when is your birthday?

Speaker 23 (01:39:22):
Your?

Speaker 4 (01:39:22):
You're Sadit tears right. You get like a symbol, like
a sad symbol.

Speaker 5 (01:39:27):
I'm guessing. I'm guessing it's a kiss my ass to
somebody that pissed you off.

Speaker 8 (01:39:33):
You'll never guess it. I'm not proud of this.

Speaker 13 (01:39:36):
Sorry, but this is not guess you said. I'm You're
never gonna guess it. Something super ran a big bird.

Speaker 7 (01:39:46):
This uh, this man he offered to pay for one
of my tattoos if I got another tattoo.

Speaker 8 (01:39:57):
That was symbolizing of him.

Speaker 3 (01:40:01):
It was that guy you were involved with dating.

Speaker 7 (01:40:03):
So he calls like his crew. His name, his name
is Izzy, shout out Izzy. But he calls his like
group of friends Izzy and Co. So like he has
like girls that are part of the friend group, get
and Co tattooed on them.

Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
What David, I know? I mean I would definitely this
guy and he should be in jail, in prison.

Speaker 23 (01:40:27):
Why did you do that?

Speaker 7 (01:40:29):
I wanted another free tattoo and I was young, I
was in college, and I was like, yeah, I'll put
it somewhere no one will ever see it on my
butt cheek.

Speaker 8 (01:40:37):
And now everyone's like, what's that?

Speaker 4 (01:40:39):
And what else did the guy offer to do? This
is crazy?

Speaker 8 (01:40:45):
Okay, we're off topic.

Speaker 4 (01:40:49):
Topic. Lots of topics.

Speaker 3 (01:40:51):
Would brand his people. Who was a document remember he
was literally brand.

Speaker 5 (01:40:57):
The next gin it called I remember, but I saw
that documentary thing that was crazy. Anna would be this
from sounds of things. She would be a person that
would join one of those things. Oh my god, no, no, no, no, no, no,
all right, So the topic was gonna be the tattoo
you regret, yes, yeah, there's the tattoos now you regret Yeah,

(01:41:17):
I do.

Speaker 16 (01:41:18):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:41:18):
I would say I regret that one more than this one,
but and I wouldn't even say I regret this one
that I'm about to talk about, but I.

Speaker 8 (01:41:25):
Do question it. So I am a big fan of
Kanye West.

Speaker 4 (01:41:30):
I love you.

Speaker 7 (01:41:31):
I know I know you love him too, Kevin, but
recently he's been under fire. I got a tattoo of
his face. It's like kind of an abstract portrait of
his face tattooed on me on my arm. Actually, if
you're on live you can look at it, but it's
very visible. So when someone recognizes it and they bring
it up, it's always like such an awkward conversation. They're like, ooh,

(01:41:53):
you got Kanye on you and I'm like, yeah, before
he yeah, I know when ye.

Speaker 5 (01:42:00):
Can I be honest with you. I saw that tattoo
for the first time this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:42:05):
That is not Kanye.

Speaker 3 (01:42:06):
Yes, that was like Kanyeways liked Bunny.

Speaker 8 (01:42:14):
The video. Let me see your other ones, Tupac that.

Speaker 3 (01:42:21):
Okay, that looks like Tom Sellick to make.

Speaker 4 (01:42:24):
All he needs is a Detroit Tigers.

Speaker 33 (01:42:27):
It really.

Speaker 4 (01:42:29):
No, no, no, that looks that doesn't That looks like
the guy, the guy from Backstreet Boys.

Speaker 8 (01:42:33):
It doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:42:35):
It looks like Kevin.

Speaker 8 (01:42:38):
They can't see you got a scroll, but that's the
exact picture I used.

Speaker 5 (01:42:42):
Your tattoos don't look like who they're saying, and it
looks like that's exactly Shannon's right, isn't it.

Speaker 9 (01:42:49):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:42:49):
You know all right, let me see the other one.
The other one to me, No, no, that is Kevin
from the Backstreet Boys. That is definitely Kevin from the Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:43:00):
You are my.

Speaker 7 (01:43:05):
Okay seek, Yes, that's the one I know.

Speaker 4 (01:43:12):
By the way, I love you.

Speaker 5 (01:43:17):
You're seriously you have grown into this person that's like
a little sister to me, slash a daughter that your
poor dad I would have you know, by the way,
I'm starting to actually sympathize more with your dad than
I have ever sympathized before in life. I think sometimes
maybe you might be a little too hard on him.
You're going to get tattoos from men that are like, hey,

(01:43:39):
i'll pay for a tattoo, but you got.

Speaker 4 (01:43:41):
To get this on you.

Speaker 7 (01:43:42):
To be clear, the man wasn't even with me. He
sent a viaz L. He's like here's the money. Just
send me up.

Speaker 4 (01:43:47):
So why did you get it? Why did you Marker.

Speaker 23 (01:43:53):
Think of that?

Speaker 4 (01:43:53):
Oh my god, where is your your wonderful grandfather at
right now?

Speaker 8 (01:43:58):
See, my family doesn't know any of these stories about me.

Speaker 4 (01:44:01):
They're learning on the ratio.

Speaker 7 (01:44:03):
They are learning, like I have not really spoken to
them a lot in the last four years. So this
is all coming out and.

Speaker 4 (01:44:10):
Bring this up to me.

Speaker 5 (01:44:11):
Being on the show is now therapy, isn't it. Oh
my god, we got to buy the here's the deal you.
You need to communicate with us as a show more.
We have to be your protectors of all the weirdos
that are out there.

Speaker 8 (01:44:26):
I will never do it again, but I was in
my young girl here.

Speaker 3 (01:44:30):
You don't want any more tattoos I do?

Speaker 4 (01:44:31):
Oh a lot.

Speaker 8 (01:44:32):
I will never you know, let this guy pay.

Speaker 4 (01:44:34):
Oh okay, are you are you covering up the booty tattoo?

Speaker 8 (01:44:38):
I might get it removed, not covered up.

Speaker 4 (01:44:40):
Some people are texting here right now. Two four eight
says so she was branded? Uh person?

Speaker 5 (01:44:47):
Another tattoo here says Anna. You are way smarter than this.
You definitely have grown up over the years. I never
see you do this now.

Speaker 8 (01:44:55):
That part.

Speaker 4 (01:44:58):
What's up? How you doing?

Speaker 9 (01:44:59):
Jay?

Speaker 4 (01:45:01):
I am good your voice? This guy's initial Jay? What's
going on?

Speaker 8 (01:45:04):
So Anna?

Speaker 61 (01:45:05):
I'm right with you, except it's worse. I'm not branded
on my butt, on my booty cheek.

Speaker 25 (01:45:13):
It's like a cow.

Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
Wait you got oh wait?

Speaker 3 (01:45:16):
Were you part of that cult that they did the
documentary on?

Speaker 47 (01:45:20):
No, my cousin.

Speaker 61 (01:45:22):
I was trying to prove to him that I was faithful.
So he stot being curious, and so I got property
of and then his name on the bottom and then
our anniversary date in the middle.

Speaker 4 (01:45:35):
Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (01:45:36):
Property You put property of on your on your body
to prove to your man that you were faithful and
you guys are no longer together.

Speaker 4 (01:45:46):
He was abusive, horrible. I'm trying to.

Speaker 3 (01:45:50):
Get that removed.

Speaker 5 (01:45:52):
Yeah, we need we need to tell the sales apartment
that we're going to have Anna needs to do commercials
for a tattoo removal doctor, like one of those plastic
surgeons that do this. And we got an initial Jay.
We got to have you be the first comp that
this guy does. We'll pay for it. I would love

(01:46:13):
that because that's that is abusive, The fact that he
made you put that on his body.

Speaker 4 (01:46:18):
Where's that a hole at nowadays? Wait, his name's not
is he is he?

Speaker 5 (01:46:23):
I'm just making sure that's just insane. Hold on, Corey,
what's up, Corey?

Speaker 4 (01:46:28):
How you doing? Ojoe?

Speaker 9 (01:46:30):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:46:31):
Nothing much, buddy, what's happening.

Speaker 21 (01:46:34):
I just called in to say Anna needs some guidance.

Speaker 9 (01:46:36):
I don't I don't know what's going on. She got
too much going on. She going trying to meet dudes
in different space and got tattoo's on her buttet. She
needs some guidance.

Speaker 42 (01:46:46):
We need lydia to get.

Speaker 9 (01:46:47):
Her on the right path.

Speaker 5 (01:46:48):
Yeah, you telling me I'm off and as final and
as a smart or something.

Speaker 4 (01:46:57):
She had a wild child. Uh time, like this is
all younger stuff. Although wait a second, she is gone.

Speaker 21 (01:47:06):
You got a guide, so we still got a guide
to the right path.

Speaker 5 (01:47:09):
Maybe this is the thing. Maybe this is the you know,
being a part of the show. Now we will all
be there to help her with her decision making.

Speaker 8 (01:47:18):
I stand by all my decisions.

Speaker 4 (01:47:19):
He there you go, there, you go, even the decision
of going to Pittsburgh here in.

Speaker 8 (01:47:25):
My husband.

Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
Okay, all right, all right, hopefully you'll actually.

Speaker 21 (01:47:29):
Get a tattoo, You'll get a forehead tattoo.

Speaker 4 (01:47:35):
Come on Show.

Speaker 2 (01:47:37):
Twenty twenty five Radio Hall of Famer. At first we
thought you were going into Rob Walshik's Hall of Shame.
You're in the Hall of Shit.

Speaker 4 (01:47:45):
Glad we're wrong.

Speaker 2 (01:47:46):
Congrats Class of twenty five.

Speaker 5 (01:47:48):
Baby all right, Mojo on the Morning Show. So this
is a big move. Shannon's husband made a big purchase
and the surprise happened when she looked in her drive way.

Speaker 3 (01:48:02):
I love my husband. I love my husband. I love
my husband anything. He is a Facebook marketplace scroller in
the middle of the night, like after I fall asleep,
we go to bed together after I fall asleep, that
he either scrolls Instagram or he scrolls Facebook marketplace, never
looking for anything specific.

Speaker 13 (01:48:23):
He just thinks that he is going to find some
sort of treasure. One time it happens. Well, it happened
because we are were not in the market for a
new vehicle. Everybody in our household who is of driving
age has a vehicle. But he told me one morning
last week while I was here, he sent me a

(01:48:44):
text and said that he saw a really cool I
say vintage because it is from the eighties vintage jeep
Wrangler on Facebook marketplace for a really really good price.
Somebody locally here in East Point was selling it, and
he's like, I think I'm gonna buy it. Hot, you
are so funny.

Speaker 3 (01:49:00):
I did not believe him.

Speaker 13 (01:49:01):
Okay, I'm thinking, like I always do that kind of stuff, right, like, oh,
I think we should buy this, and I'm just saying
it for spits and giggles.

Speaker 3 (01:49:09):
So he sends it to me.

Speaker 13 (01:49:10):
I don't think anything of it, I think, I responded,
ha ha, And that was it until the next day.

Speaker 3 (01:49:16):
I get home and.

Speaker 13 (01:49:18):
There is a nineteen eighty nine Gee Brengler in the driveway.

Speaker 3 (01:49:23):
He were I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 4 (01:49:28):
How much money did you spend?

Speaker 7 (01:49:29):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (01:49:30):
I mean, I know how much, but go ahead tell
because I want to know money wise, like at a
certain point, like I don't. I wouldn't feel comfortable spending
over one thousand dollars.

Speaker 13 (01:49:39):
I knew how much it cost. Had he actually like
when he was saying, oh, I'm going to buy this thing.
I knew the dollar amount, which was twelve five hundred dollars. Okay,
So I knew that that was the cost.

Speaker 4 (01:49:50):
But he didn't like say to you ahead of time,
I'm going to buy this thing. He no, he did.

Speaker 8 (01:49:54):
I thought he was joking.

Speaker 3 (01:49:58):
I literally wrote back, ha.

Speaker 4 (01:50:00):
All right, So here's the topic.

Speaker 5 (01:50:02):
And I can't believe they bought blank and I want
to know what it was that they bought and didn't
tell you until after they made the purchase. But I
have to, I have to ask this question. I want
to throw this out there. Do you and I know
that you guys have your separate cards except for wait,
did he put it on that one credit card that.

Speaker 4 (01:50:19):
He always money?

Speaker 7 (01:50:22):
So?

Speaker 15 (01:50:22):
Do so?

Speaker 9 (01:50:24):
Do you have to? Like? I?

Speaker 5 (01:50:26):
Yeah, you guys both work and stuff whatever. Chelsea's a
stay at home mom and has been a stay at
home mom our whole marriage. I still ask her for permission,
Hey do you mind if I do something like this?

Speaker 4 (01:50:36):
And she does with me?

Speaker 16 (01:50:37):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:50:37):
Sometimes maybe not, but but I do say only because
I want to, you know, be able to know that
we don't have like something crazy happening, like you know,
like another carway, yeah right, or or we got a
bill coming up or taxes, you know, it's like something
like that. Whatever is But I but I, uh, how

(01:50:58):
nice of a jeposis?

Speaker 3 (01:50:59):
And I okay, so I do like it.

Speaker 4 (01:51:01):
Did he have one that he sold when he first
got into the relationship with you.

Speaker 13 (01:51:04):
Yeah, he had a deep wrangler actually, and he sold
it because we needed to buy a car for are
now college freshman. Okay, but I think he sold it
and had some remorse. He like really missed having one.
And the cool story with this one and they give
him credit is he his stepdad actually worked on this

(01:51:27):
jeep like it's from Brampton, Ontario, and he had had
all the markings and he called his stepdad.

Speaker 4 (01:51:34):
He actually talked, he was a genius.

Speaker 5 (01:51:38):
You are a goddamn genius. You know why you are
excuse my language on this one. You are because you
pulled out the old dead dad car.

Speaker 3 (01:51:46):
His dad's very much life.

Speaker 4 (01:51:49):
Dad car.

Speaker 5 (01:51:50):
Okay, you pulled out the whole family. You know, my
family saying I'm going to say that to Chelsea when
I buy myself a new set of golf clubs. Chelsea,
I would like you to know that my dad best
friends with mister Titleist.

Speaker 10 (01:52:13):
So are you like, is it one of those things
where you feel as though he has to drive this
because if it's just sitting there and it becomes like
just this eyesore, well, I.

Speaker 3 (01:52:21):
Don't know where we're going to keep it.

Speaker 13 (01:52:23):
Because I don't think I can stay outside in the winter,
and we don't have we don't have a dridge that
we park ins gone into gym. He turned it into
a gym when he moved in, getting a storage unit.
I have my I have my Acadia, he has his
ram Are. My stepdaughter has her car.

Speaker 3 (01:52:42):
She has a jeep.

Speaker 4 (01:52:43):
You guys got it.

Speaker 3 (01:52:43):
So I'm like, where we don't have a big drive roay,
So we're already parking a car on like the side
of the street. You know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:52:52):
I'm like, sometimes, don't let you do that? No, they do.

Speaker 5 (01:52:57):
But so wait a second, you got a used car
lot there. You know you've just become now filling the
role of Megan.

Speaker 3 (01:53:05):
I told him that, I'm like, we are now that
that has a million cars parked in the day.

Speaker 5 (01:53:10):
Ashley, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. I can't
believe they bought Ashley.

Speaker 24 (01:53:16):
My husband buys lawnmowers.

Speaker 19 (01:53:19):
After lawnmowers, and after buying so many lawnmowers, his new
obsession is the ride on lawnmowers.

Speaker 20 (01:53:24):
So now we have two right on lawnmowers and three
regular lawnmowers.

Speaker 29 (01:53:29):
In our garage.

Speaker 4 (01:53:29):
How many lawnmowers. Does he need to cut your lawn?

Speaker 2 (01:53:32):
Why?

Speaker 55 (01:53:33):
I don't know, because sometimes I caught it with the
pushing woman and he's sitting on there riding and I'm
just like, oh my gosh, where can I park my car?

Speaker 4 (01:53:39):
Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (01:53:39):
I feel like people collect That's random, that's very wild.
Aaron High, I can't believe they bought.

Speaker 9 (01:53:46):
Mojo.

Speaker 24 (01:53:47):
My husband went up to the party store.

Speaker 44 (01:53:50):
He comes home with this Macho Man Randy Savage slim gem.

Speaker 50 (01:53:59):
He had to convince he had to convince the guy
to sell it to him.

Speaker 39 (01:54:03):
Guess how much he paid for it?

Speaker 4 (01:54:05):
How much?

Speaker 44 (01:54:07):
Two hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (01:54:10):
It's the it's the Macho Man Randy Savage slim Gems
container they used as a display there. Did he also,
by the way, did he also get like, you know,
I know, the cardboard cutout of Macho Man with life
size version.

Speaker 29 (01:54:28):
I wish I.

Speaker 9 (01:54:29):
Feel like that should have been thrown in for two
hundred dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:54:32):
That's Nick? What's up?

Speaker 16 (01:54:35):
Nick?

Speaker 4 (01:54:35):
How you doing?

Speaker 20 (01:54:37):
Hey?

Speaker 49 (01:54:38):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 4 (01:54:39):
Morning.

Speaker 40 (01:54:40):
First of all, Shannon, don't don't be too quick to judge.

Speaker 49 (01:54:43):
Jeeps are really fun.

Speaker 48 (01:54:45):
And what's a good man.

Speaker 9 (01:54:48):
You guys?

Speaker 5 (01:54:49):
Him it sounds like a man that This sounds like
a man that drives it cheap the jeep wave Is
that right, Nick?

Speaker 4 (01:54:59):
You've got ducks in his issue right now?

Speaker 48 (01:55:02):
Well I got I got one too.

Speaker 58 (01:55:05):
I actually bought a fence and installed it around my
entire property without my wife knowing of fence?

Speaker 4 (01:55:12):
How much he did not? How much does a fence?

Speaker 29 (01:55:15):
I want it?

Speaker 4 (01:55:15):
How much is a fence cost? Is it expensive?

Speaker 43 (01:55:19):
It was like four grand?

Speaker 3 (01:55:20):
Yeah, yeah, that's not cheap.

Speaker 5 (01:55:22):
You know what, though, you're adding to the value of
your property. You just made her more secure a fence.

Speaker 9 (01:55:27):
You get me Moto.

Speaker 4 (01:55:30):
Boy mask you can hide the jeep hold on.

Speaker 5 (01:55:34):
Jessica high, what did your husband buy without your permission?

Speaker 23 (01:55:38):
A twenty five thousand dollars roofs?

Speaker 4 (01:55:41):
But it's a roof though?

Speaker 3 (01:55:43):
Did you need a roof? I'm assuming no. We did
not need that big expensive roof.

Speaker 8 (01:55:49):
He just did it because he was the boss and
told me what to do.

Speaker 5 (01:55:52):
But you, Jessica, no offense. He's not going I got
the coolest roof in the neighborhood. He's putting a roof
on your house.

Speaker 4 (01:56:00):
It might be.

Speaker 7 (01:56:02):
One.

Speaker 3 (01:56:02):
I was going to say, how expensive roofs are not
that expensive.

Speaker 4 (01:56:05):
I just did one.

Speaker 8 (01:56:07):
My brother in law could have done.

Speaker 5 (01:56:10):
So what's what's the difference in Okay, I don't know
how big your home is, so I have no clue.
I'm not going to judge, But what is not? What
does what does your roof do that my roof doesn't?

Speaker 4 (01:56:20):
What is the roofs? What's the difference?

Speaker 54 (01:56:22):
It's a metal roof.

Speaker 4 (01:56:23):
Put a metal roof? Was good about that? Yeah, So
it's like that's kind of a style.

Speaker 5 (01:56:27):
I think there's a style of people that have metal
roofs and stuff like that instead of putting shingles and stuff.

Speaker 8 (01:56:31):
Noticed that he he had money.

Speaker 5 (01:56:33):
That's like that farmhouse kind of look or whatever that
people are doing. Listen to this one. This is a
big ass one down's husband. What did your husband buy
and didn't ask you for permission?

Speaker 54 (01:56:46):
On?

Speaker 24 (01:56:49):
Don My husband bought an airplane.

Speaker 4 (01:56:55):
This is like my husband bought a zoo getting rich?
Really what kind of a plane?

Speaker 28 (01:57:02):
It was a small Sessna airplane. He was going and
doing airplane lessons to become a pilot, just for a hobby. Okay,
he was on he was on an auction site and
they had one on auction for like eighteen thousand dollars.

Speaker 50 (01:57:17):
It wasn't a ton of mine.

Speaker 24 (01:57:19):
But his story is he was showing my daughter, who
was eight or nine at the time, how the auction
site worked.

Speaker 28 (01:57:29):
So he only bid one hundred dollars more than the highest.

Speaker 24 (01:57:35):
Bid at the time and it had hours left.

Speaker 32 (01:57:38):
So of course his story is.

Speaker 24 (01:57:40):
That he thought, oh, no, no way, I'm winning this bid.

Speaker 34 (01:57:44):
Yep, we woned.

Speaker 24 (01:57:45):
We had an airplane.

Speaker 5 (01:57:46):
Oh my gosh, it was it something you guys lost
money on or were you able to use it and
have fun with it?

Speaker 14 (01:57:53):
Nope?

Speaker 25 (01:57:53):
Yeah, we used it.

Speaker 24 (01:57:54):
We went to Mecana, we went to a family wedding,
He flew all kinds of places, took his brother's Oh
yeah cool.

Speaker 4 (01:58:01):
I would love if he could give me a ride.

Speaker 7 (01:58:04):
Told it since then, but yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 5 (01:58:09):
You know what, that's an interesting one, you know, because
you're talking about how Wes is on Facebook marketplace.

Speaker 4 (01:58:13):
A lot of times you put a bid in thinking
they're not going to take your bed, and then.

Speaker 3 (01:58:17):
Yeah, I think that's part of what happened here too.

Speaker 5 (01:58:19):
By chit ching chain hold on last call here, Uh, Melissa,
what did your husband buy?

Speaker 54 (01:58:26):
Hi?

Speaker 32 (01:58:26):
First off, I'm a.

Speaker 22 (01:58:27):
First time long time.

Speaker 31 (01:58:33):
So I'm so excited to be on.

Speaker 22 (01:58:34):
I've listened to you guys for forever.

Speaker 39 (01:58:36):
But I was hanging out of my sister's.

Speaker 25 (01:58:38):
House one day and I got a phone call from
my husband.

Speaker 32 (01:58:42):
He had supposedly went to like this pigeon.

Speaker 28 (01:58:44):
Auction with my brother in law, and he called me
and told me he had purchased fourteen pigeons.

Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
Pigeons. What is he like, exactly what do you do?
What do you do with pigeons, pigeon pets or what
is it?

Speaker 28 (01:59:03):
No, he wanted to make them and to carry your pigeons.

Speaker 39 (01:59:12):
He built up pigeon loft.

Speaker 18 (01:59:13):
We have a pigeon loft behind our garage now, and
that's where they lived.

Speaker 5 (01:59:17):
Is this is this brooke Torvado on the And by
the way, did they ever carry anything except for weight?
Because they actually, you know, spent a lot of money.

Speaker 38 (01:59:37):
Well, one of them escaped and he tried to tried
to capture it by creating this whole elaborate like cage
with a stick.

Speaker 54 (01:59:45):
And a robe.

Speaker 25 (01:59:46):
And I was I was telling him him, like you
just gotta let him go, like it's kind of cool
to keep him back there, and he was like, yeah,
you're right, we should just let him fly away.

Speaker 4 (01:59:53):
Unreal your neighbors.

Speaker 35 (01:59:57):
Hey, there's nothing wrong with spending more time thanking about
you had a wind cuftume, then if you should sleep
with a guy or not.

Speaker 4 (02:00:03):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 8 (02:00:07):
It's time for more mojo.

Speaker 3 (02:00:09):
Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:00:11):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show.

Speaker 5 (02:00:13):
So I yesterday was fueling up at the gas station
and I witnessed something that yesterday was just doubly appalling, Okay,
and it wasn't gas prices.

Speaker 4 (02:00:26):
It was while I was fueling up, I could smell.

Speaker 5 (02:00:30):
Smell the scent of cigarettes, which, by the way, I
don't smell cigarettes as much anymore now that people vape.
When people are vaping nowadays, I sense that somebody's doing something,
but I can't smell that, you know, I don't smell
the scent of them doing that or I see, well,
I smell weeds definitely, but with vapes, it's just kind

(02:00:52):
of like a poof of smoke all of a sudden
blows out and the person looks like they're, you know,
sucking on a little uh, you know, a penis. Basically,
they do. They look like they're sucking at a little penis.
If you're a vape smoker, think about that every time
you put that thing in your mouth. So I smell
cigarette and I'm going, oh, it's a good old fashioned cigarette.
Then I think to myself, well, I'm in Waterford, Michigan.

(02:01:13):
Why should there not be a cigarette here. So I
am fueling up gas and the woman on the opposite
side of the pump of mine, I'm on pump seven.
She is on pump eight is smoking a cigarette. So
she's got as Shannon would call it, a ciggy in
her mouth and she is smoking on the thing I

(02:01:33):
always think of Siggi's because you a cigarette. So I'm like,
all right, I'm gonna look around and see exactly what's
going on here. So I do the leave the pump
inside my tahoe and I come walking around to kind
of peek over to the other side, and there is
a woman with a I don't even know what vehicle.

Speaker 4 (02:01:54):
It was Malibu, the the no, actually, you know what
I think it might have been. I don't know it was.

Speaker 5 (02:02:00):
It was something. It was something something like that. She's
got her windows down. Little children in the back of
the car, okay, including one in a car seat, so
she's smoking a cigy by the vapors of gas and
children smelling the smoke. And at this point I'm thinking

(02:02:20):
to myself, I care less about the kids. I care
more about me. I do not I do not want
to die. I do not want this to be the
last that I have actually been on this earth. I
am not going to do this, which, by the way,
I have had people yell at me for being on
a cell phone.

Speaker 4 (02:02:38):
Pumping gas.

Speaker 5 (02:02:38):
I people, you know, they think that the radiation or
the phone could set off the in explorer.

Speaker 4 (02:02:45):
So nothing is crazier in fire in gasoline?

Speaker 12 (02:02:50):
Why is an issue you smoke next to a gas.

Speaker 4 (02:02:51):
Tank because it's fire and gasoline?

Speaker 12 (02:03:00):
Do you do you have you ever like my dad
baes next to the gas well, I mean, that's not.

Speaker 4 (02:03:05):
That's not fire your dad.

Speaker 5 (02:03:06):
Your dad, by the way, should probably not just because
of the the there is an electric thing component to it.
But but with that said, you do not understand that
that is a bad thing to be smoking next to
a gain Have you ever seen the signs that say no,
don't smoke next.

Speaker 4 (02:03:20):
The diesel in my car before? I don't pay attention
to the size you have actually put diesel in your car?
Really okay? All right?

Speaker 5 (02:03:29):
Yeah, by the way, you you understand that one of
the biggest things that you don't ever want to do
is you don't ever want to have any kind of
thing that will combust next to a combustible substance.

Speaker 4 (02:03:40):
Substance I honestly wouldn't know.

Speaker 10 (02:03:42):
And sometimes when you pull your pump out of like
your gas tank, gas drips, and the person before you
might be a sloppy pumper and they got glass, they
got gas, all the floor, the ass falling out, any
of that could explode.

Speaker 4 (02:03:57):
I don't care about nobody.

Speaker 5 (02:03:59):
I'm thinking to myself, am I going to be the
person is going to tell this woman maybe not a
great idea? And of course I wasn't because I was
at the point at fifty five or sixty dollars.

Speaker 4 (02:04:14):
And my thing was about to click.

Speaker 5 (02:04:15):
And at that moment, I'm thinking to myself, I'm taking
the pump out and I'm getting out of here as
fast as I possibly can. Right, Yeah, that's what you
see in your rear view is Yeah, it looks like
a movie trailer is like you know what I mean,
what is armageddew.

Speaker 4 (02:04:29):
Or something like that?

Speaker 3 (02:04:30):
I yell at my husband because he leaves the car
on when he.

Speaker 4 (02:04:33):
Oh, I do too.

Speaker 3 (02:04:36):
Supposed to do that. I think it literally says on
the same sign that talks about smoking, hot.

Speaker 5 (02:04:42):
Cold, you are dumb the extreme temperatures. I'm I'm keeping
myself comfortable, and I sit inside the car too.

Speaker 62 (02:04:49):
I do it.

Speaker 14 (02:04:49):
I do that.

Speaker 13 (02:04:50):
But you can like disengage the electricity by just touching
the pump before you go get the actual gas.

Speaker 5 (02:04:56):
I have no problem with that. I just don't think
you should have a SI hanging out of your dangling
out of your mouth and to get back in the
car with your little kids. And let's talk about the
cancer that yeah, they're giving. She's giving her her children.
Her kids probably love the smell of that smoke. What's
going on, Leu.

Speaker 4 (02:05:13):
Ayne, Hi, Hi, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 29 (02:05:16):
How are you guys.

Speaker 4 (02:05:17):
I'm doing okay. I'm talking about the lady.

Speaker 23 (02:05:20):
Oh my god, you edit.

Speaker 4 (02:05:22):
Yes, the idiot at the gas station. What's happening.

Speaker 17 (02:05:26):
I work for Speedway for many, many years and they
have their managers take a training video and in the
video it explains why you can't have people seeing out.

Speaker 40 (02:05:35):
Supercar why it's running, or be on their cell phones.

Speaker 9 (02:05:38):
It causes a static.

Speaker 4 (02:05:39):
Electricity built up.

Speaker 41 (02:05:41):
Yes, and when that static electricity builds up and you
go to touch the pump, it ignites the vapors and
that's what causes the car.

Speaker 5 (02:05:47):
Yes, Luanne, the lady at the speedway station in Union Lake, Michigan,
off of Commerce Road, has yelled at me over the
speaker system when I've been on my phone pumping out,
Oh yeah, are instructed.

Speaker 63 (02:06:00):
If you don't get they warn you once, and if
you don't get off there instructed to shut down the
pumpty meding.

Speaker 42 (02:06:05):
Yes, you can't get in and out of your car
because when you get in and out of.

Speaker 17 (02:06:11):
Your car, like in the winter time, you go to
fill up your tank and you get back into warm up.

Speaker 60 (02:06:15):
You're building up that static electricity every.

Speaker 4 (02:06:17):
Time you open up your door.

Speaker 17 (02:06:18):
Yeah, and when you go to that pump and you
get back out of your car and all that static
electricity build up, they will cause the vapors to explode.

Speaker 3 (02:06:25):
Yes, I just touched the garbage can first.

Speaker 5 (02:06:28):
Hey, real real quick, Blue Anne proved to me that
you were for speedway. What's the jingle sound like? But
what the jingle the speedway? The speedway jingle you know.

Speaker 24 (02:06:39):
Oh I don't even know anymore.

Speaker 8 (02:06:42):
Speedway.

Speaker 4 (02:06:44):
Yeah, come on, you know that the conies when I
have my son.

Speaker 5 (02:06:50):
Oh gosh, all right, well you're that's that's got to
be test number one before they show you the fact
that you can blow up. Ashley would like to call Bianca. Well,
you're not gonna call her a Nadia. Please tell me
you're not.

Speaker 4 (02:07:04):
What's going on?

Speaker 30 (02:07:06):
I think you guys need to show her the clip
from the movie Zoolander at the pump where they're having
a gasoline fight and then the one guy likes a cigarette.

Speaker 4 (02:07:15):
Yes, and to show her the teacher.

Speaker 11 (02:07:18):
Well, I think you need to show that to Mojo
because he has his car on when he's pumping gas.

Speaker 12 (02:07:21):
So I think he's wont with no common sense.

Speaker 4 (02:07:23):
Of course. And you guarantee you you have had your
car on too, No, I have not. I don't buy it.

Speaker 5 (02:07:29):
Listen, Yeah, you're okay, she's smarter to turn her car off,
but she's not smart enough to understand that you should
not light a cigarette next to it. Please come on, Okay,
I got you. I love you, Bianca. Bianca, by the way, again,
is only seventeen years old.

Speaker 4 (02:07:44):
How old are you.

Speaker 12 (02:07:46):
Mentally fifteen, actually twenty two.

Speaker 10 (02:07:48):
No, my's son knows that he's twelve years old, even
not smoking the pump.

Speaker 4 (02:07:52):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (02:07:53):
What?

Speaker 4 (02:07:53):
Go ahead? What's going on? Brittany?

Speaker 21 (02:07:55):
Go?

Speaker 4 (02:07:55):
What do you say? Go ahead? What's your name? Bianca?
Brittany's on the box.

Speaker 12 (02:07:59):
I was a pumping gas. So he doesn't even know
that yet.

Speaker 4 (02:08:01):
No, everyone needs to know that. Do you understand this?

Speaker 2 (02:08:03):
Though?

Speaker 4 (02:08:04):
No, he can.

Speaker 5 (02:08:05):
He has taught him how to pump gas because guy's
a good dad. By the way, that's a great thing
to do, teach your kids how to pump gas so
you don't have to go out in the winter.

Speaker 4 (02:08:12):
My mom used to abuse and abuse me. I was
pumping gas with LOLLI. Now you, Brittany, what's going on?

Speaker 16 (02:08:18):
Hi?

Speaker 32 (02:08:20):
I also used to work at a speedway back in
the day where they had to lift the handle for
us to turn it on, And every time someone would
get off smoking, I would shut their pump off and
they keep lifting it up to turn it back on,
and I would make them come inside and be like,
you not do signs out there, like you need to
put that out. I'm not going to turn your pump
back on.

Speaker 4 (02:08:38):
Yeah wow, And again the convenience stores of.

Speaker 29 (02:08:43):
Speedway.

Speaker 4 (02:08:44):
There the Speedway people.

Speaker 21 (02:08:48):
I'm telling you, I'm not going to sing it.

Speaker 4 (02:08:51):
Yeah, you guys have lost it. Thank you for the call.
What's up?

Speaker 9 (02:08:55):
T Hi? Hey, so Funa.

Speaker 24 (02:09:00):
You're also not supposed to get in and get out.

Speaker 45 (02:09:02):
Of your car when you're pumping gas because it could
cause an electrical spark.

Speaker 4 (02:09:10):
Yeah, I didn't know.

Speaker 14 (02:09:11):
I know.

Speaker 5 (02:09:12):
Actually I know that that's that's the case too, because
I've been yelled at before by people for that, for
saying that I get get out of the car.

Speaker 4 (02:09:19):
Yeah, I guess there is.

Speaker 24 (02:09:21):
I used to work at a gas station.

Speaker 18 (02:09:22):
I was told that if someone gets in their car,
I'm supposed to turn the pump off.

Speaker 33 (02:09:27):
Because they're not supposed to do that.

Speaker 4 (02:09:29):
What gas station did you work at?

Speaker 49 (02:09:32):
I worked for a Sunrise BP.

Speaker 4 (02:09:35):
Okay, ready, the convenience stores of.

Speaker 8 (02:09:39):
BP.

Speaker 4 (02:09:45):
All right, thank you for the call. It's funny.

Speaker 5 (02:09:49):
This woman was like the typical that you would see
like smoking a cigarette too, like a little bit of
bleach blonde going on like a you know, kind of
very skinny like almost like she you know that's too skinny.

Speaker 7 (02:10:02):
No, not that.

Speaker 4 (02:10:04):
You gave me the eyes.

Speaker 5 (02:10:05):
I didn't know, but you know, you can tell she's
a smoker and stuff like that, like, the only people
who are smoking nowadays, honestly are people that are trying
to stay skinny.

Speaker 4 (02:10:14):
Like as I'm convinced.

Speaker 10 (02:10:15):
But did you ever notice that Black and Miles used
to be my distick, well not mine, I used to
hear about that.

Speaker 4 (02:10:21):
But you smoke black and Miles.

Speaker 8 (02:10:25):
How would you like?

Speaker 15 (02:10:29):
What tip?

Speaker 12 (02:10:29):
Plastic tip?

Speaker 4 (02:10:30):
You could turn daddy.

Speaker 10 (02:10:34):
Like those switches. I would never drink that, I mean
smoked that. But yeah, how would you explain it?

Speaker 4 (02:10:39):
Like the ones with the okay, but I used to
smoke the wine tips? Well you hit what real quick?

Speaker 23 (02:10:48):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (02:10:49):
Bianca? What ale?

Speaker 54 (02:10:51):
What?

Speaker 21 (02:10:53):
No?

Speaker 5 (02:10:54):
No, I'm going to ask an alcohol store because beon hiss,
Dad's a party Uh party store guy?

Speaker 56 (02:10:59):
What what?

Speaker 4 (02:11:00):
What ale? Does dad have? The the Seltzer's in.

Speaker 11 (02:11:04):
Celto's is all the way. It's like the last corner.
It's against the glass doors. Okay, it takes up the
whole glass doors. I think it's like B twelve And
what Aisle's the gin?

Speaker 4 (02:11:11):
Where's the gin? Where do we get gin?

Speaker 12 (02:11:13):
We got the gin behind the counter.

Speaker 4 (02:11:15):
I forgot this is a pontiact.

Speaker 12 (02:11:18):
We don't got the bulk of glass though.

Speaker 4 (02:11:19):
No, okay, all right, perfect.

Speaker 1 (02:11:22):
WQ on Detroit's ex Hiss Toledo three grade stations.

Speaker 4 (02:11:30):
One stupid show. This is Mojo in the Morning. Lie
Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (02:11:39):
I think every parent does this, but Shannon did it
over the weekend and her kids were almost gonna buster
her for this one. Actually, yes, she lied in front
of her kids. What did you lie about?

Speaker 13 (02:11:52):
So Saturday, we spent the day in East Lansing because
we wanted to obviously go see the state game. My
stepson is a cheerleader, so we're trying to get to
as many home games as we possibly can.

Speaker 3 (02:12:03):
Well, we were running really really late.

Speaker 13 (02:12:06):
Some things happened at home in the morning, and so
we by the time we got there, we normally park
in one specific garage, and we knew that Eastland thing
was going to be crazy. We weren't going to get
into our normal parking garage. Sure enough, it was full
when we drove up to it. So my husband, Wes,
and I were driving around and we're trying to find

(02:12:27):
somewhere to park, and it's getting close to the time
of the game, and so finally he's like, you know what,
I'm going to do. I'm going to go to one
of the hotels in town. It's called the Graduate, very
very nice hotel. And he's like, I think they have valet,
and I'm just going to valey the car. Okay, So
we roll up. Sure enough, they have valet, which is

(02:12:48):
not expensive, by the way, it's very very good deal. However,
it's a very good deal because you have to be
staying at the hotel to take advantage.

Speaker 35 (02:12:56):
So there.

Speaker 3 (02:12:57):
Yeah, so we roll up.

Speaker 13 (02:12:59):
It's my myself, my husband, and my two little ones,
Lucy and Smith, sitting in the backseat, and the valet says, oh,
are you guys checking in?

Speaker 3 (02:13:08):
We did not have a hotel room, but my husband goes.

Speaker 13 (02:13:11):
Yes, we are, and he says to the valet, hey,
can you please keep our car close because we're gonna
come back right after the game and pull it out again.
We're meeting some friends for dinner as well. And the
guy's like, yep, no problem. So the valet takes our car.
We walk inside the hotel because all of us had
to go to the bathroom anyway, but also it looked

(02:13:31):
good because it looks like we were checking in, and
we start to walk away, from the valet, and Lucy
and Smith are like, you guys, wait, are we staying
at the hotel tonight?

Speaker 3 (02:13:43):
And we're like no, but we really we needed to
use the valet and that was the only way that
we could.

Speaker 4 (02:13:48):
Park the car.

Speaker 3 (02:13:49):
And they're like, you lie. Aren't we not supposed to lie?
And we're like, will sometimes can.

Speaker 49 (02:14:00):
I explain this?

Speaker 3 (02:14:01):
Like sometimes you kind of sort of have to fudge
the truth a little bit. And Smith, who's eight, he's like,
but we're not even staying at the hotel, like we're
going home tonight.

Speaker 5 (02:14:12):
My favorite is when you lie in front of your
kids and then you try to tell them in the
same breath the next week you should not be lying
at school.

Speaker 4 (02:14:20):
We should tell the truth.

Speaker 13 (02:14:21):
It was so funny because when we came back after
the game to get the car, because we were coming
back this way to head home, Smith was like, yes,
we are, we're going out to dinner and then we're
coming back right mom, And I'm like, oh.

Speaker 3 (02:14:32):
Yeah, now you're in on it.

Speaker 5 (02:14:34):
How did you get Did you put it on somebody's
room or something like that, because.

Speaker 13 (02:14:37):
Well, West gave like our name, like we had a room,
and it became an issue then when we went to
text to get the car back, because I asked you
for your room number and we didn't have a room number.
So West had to.

Speaker 3 (02:14:49):
Fess up that like, we weren't actually staying.

Speaker 4 (02:14:51):
At the hotel.

Speaker 13 (02:14:52):
Were Here's the even funnier part. Unbeknownst to me, Somewhere
in the mix of this, he told them he was
with the media, so they didn't even charge us for
the valet.

Speaker 4 (02:15:02):
Well, I mean technically that is you.

Speaker 3 (02:15:04):
I know what I'm like, Really you said I wouldn't
even say that, and I really am.

Speaker 4 (02:15:10):
Need to Here's the question I want to ask.

Speaker 5 (02:15:12):
I want to ask you as a parent, if you're
a parent that has ever lied and you got your
kids kind of like, what are you doing? I want
to know if you've ever done this in front of
your kids and what the lie was about. But then
I also want to know did your kids bust you, like,
did you start lying or saying something to somebody like
My favorite is the lie of how old you are
when you have to be under a certain age, you know,
to be able to get My favorite was ever in

(02:15:34):
Disney when you'd go to Disney and you can only
be so tall to be on rides, like I think
you had to be at a certain level.

Speaker 4 (02:15:40):
It'd be like get on your toes, you.

Speaker 5 (02:15:41):
Know what I mean, Like every penny were the ticket
with something inside your yea toilet.

Speaker 4 (02:15:47):
We're gonna put toilet paper in your shoes.

Speaker 10 (02:15:49):
To get you to to do that a lot when
we used to go out to eat, maybe like kids
free under twelve or something like that, especially at the
movies where kids would get cheaper tickets if you were
like twelve or eleven twelve today, Yeah, the.

Speaker 5 (02:16:01):
Worst is when I was twelve, I didn't look twelve.
I looked like twenty two. So they never they never
believed me. But eighty four to four Mojo Live eight
four four six six' five six' five Four EIGHT did
i ever tell you my graduate story?

Speaker 4 (02:16:14):
With, it no that's a.

Speaker 3 (02:16:15):
Beautiful hotel by, the way do you know how much.

Speaker 4 (02:16:17):
The rooms were for?

Speaker 5 (02:16:18):

and you had to get two nights in order to
uh to.

Speaker 4 (02:16:25):
Get upset they had a minimum of. Two nights let
me tell you my.

Speaker 5 (02:16:29):
Graduate story so they put in your car a thing
because they go and park it in a public lot there.
Or whatever and they put like this thing in, your
car which is it shows, a, like hey we're the
graduate hotel valet and the valet kid that was working
there was kind of a goofball and he didn't take
it out of, my CAR so i kept it in my.

(02:16:50):
Center COUNCIL so i had to go back like a
couple of weeks or. So LATER so i just kept
honestly going into that Lot because luke's fraternity how is right,
Behind there.

Speaker 4 (02:17:01):

Speaker 13 (02:17:04):

and uh West, GOES oh i Think that's luke's house.

Speaker 3 (02:17:11):
Right there it's it's almost, in bolence.

Speaker 62 (02:17:16):
It is it.

Speaker 5 (02:17:17):
Is wild it's wild that that's a tough town to.
Park in it's Although ann arbor is tougher, to Me

Speaker 4 (02:17:53):
Tall enough oh, that's beautiful isn't?

Speaker 5 (02:17:55):
That, wonderful like, you know just so you could get
on whatever that roller coaster was that was going to
scare the crap out. Of you and as, a parent

a karen and what did you do this weekend that
might possibly turn you Into?

Speaker 4 (02:45:25):
A karen not even just.

Speaker 8 (02:45:26):
This WEEKEND so i am a Regular. At chipotle There's a.

Speaker 7 (02:45:30):
CHIPOTLE downtown i do like, going there but there's not
a lot of like fast casual places to eat At,
in Detroit, downtown detroit. That IS so i go there
probably four times. A week, and wait You're. Like kevin
you know that You and kevin have a lot. In
common really when he first started on, the show every

(02:45:52):
day was. EATING gibola I do i.

Speaker 8 (02:45:54):
Go like every day after?

Speaker 11 (02:45:55):
The?

Speaker 4 (02:45:55):
Show, really yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:45:57):
What do you get?

Speaker 4 (02:45:57):
Every day and you ever get bored ice bowl with?

Speaker 8 (02:46:01):
No meat, you know all the stuff, on. Top veggies
but aside.

Speaker 4 (02:46:05):
From that, No meat no do you?

Speaker 12 (02:46:07):
Meet me?

Speaker 4 (02:46:08):
Not, really, okay okay, All RIGHT so i go.

Speaker 7 (02:46:12):
There four times a week probably this. Past month let
me say THAT when i first started, going there, no
issues it. Was amazing this, PAST month i have had
an issue literally, every time maybe every other TIME that i,
Go there and these are to me like. Bigger Issues
so i'm going right after, the show maybe around. Eleven
fifteen they open at ten. FORTY five i, get there

(02:46:34):
they say they're out. Of cheese, i'm like it's e.

Speaker 3 (02:46:35):
Left fifteen.

Speaker 8 (02:46:38):
Things, like that or it's just not.

Speaker 7 (02:46:40):
Set up every time there's, an ISSUE and i report
it on the app every Time because, I'm ANNOYED like
i want to go there and GET what i want
and they never are able to give it. TO me
i report it on, the app they'll like camp me
a meal or. Do something but it's getting to a
Point where, i'm like these people are gonna Think that
i'm doing this just to get a, free meal but
genuine EVERY time i go there something.

Speaker 8 (02:47:01):
THAT'S wrong i just want them to provide me With good.

Speaker 4 (02:47:05):
You can tell, it works, YOU up. I don't.

Speaker 8 (02:47:09):
I have a million points. ON there i don't need another.
FREE meal i just.

Speaker 5 (02:47:12):
WANT service i, got you by. THE way i don't
think that's Being. A karen i think that you know
that Being a karen is yelling at somebody for an,
unwanted reason reporting this or saying, to, THEM hey i
just want to.

Speaker 4 (02:47:25):
GET what i. Pay for is if your meal isn't,
even good what's the free meal?

Speaker 7 (02:47:30):
Going to exactly like the LAST time i, Was there
i'm starting to wonder if they Know that i'm doing
this because the manager was so rude to, me TOO
and i, WAS like i wonder if it gets reported
and said like they can figure out that it's.

Speaker 4 (02:47:42):
If you work. For them do you know when somebody
reports on the app something, like that that would.

Speaker 3 (02:47:47):
Call the store gets a report of, some sort they'll contact.

Speaker 8 (02:47:50):
THE store i. Know that that's what they always say.

Speaker 5 (02:47:52):
To me it drives me crazy when you go into
a place and like, you said it was the beginning of,
the day and you would think that somehow they would
realize that Go to kroger and.

Speaker 4 (02:48:02):
Get cheese you KNOW what?

Speaker 15 (02:48:03):
I mean?

Speaker 4 (02:48:04):
Do something, What's? Up ben how? You doing and now?

Speaker 34 (02:48:07):
Bad guys good.

Speaker 40 (02:48:08):
Morning morning this comment.

Speaker 45 (02:48:11):
Is for That.

Speaker 60 (02:48:12):
Specific chipotle this is coming, from guy a guy who
used to work for. The, company uh that one is
just if you don't show up as soon as it
opens to order, your food they are going to be out.
Of everything and the night crew is not up to
par with the. Day crew the day crew is going
to be the best you got. Years ago and the

(02:48:36):
fear was Always when detroit, opened up, you know are
they going to uphold the standards.

Speaker 5 (02:48:41):
And this, and wait this is the thing that's been
going on for that. Many years that's wild that. THAT
happens i will say this to to in all fairness
and To the, detroit people in, all fairness the one
That's In telegraph Road In bloomfield hills is the. SAME way,
i mean you walk into. That place it's A mass
you order on the app and you it tells you

(02:49:01):
when to go pick. It up you go in there
and they have that little bookcase where you're supposed to
go grab it from and, they're, like yeah we haven't
started on. It yet, i'm like it's like twenty minutes
after the TIME that i was supposed to.

Speaker 10 (02:49:11):
Be there that's a, real, Thing though like if you
work in the, food industry it's a team effort in
terms of communicating from the night shift to the day
shift and setting each other up a success because when
you come in in, the morning if the night shift
they do, their job what are you in?

Speaker 5 (02:49:24):
FOR it i feel that way here at the, radio
station that overnight person on. Our station, you know, What's?

should be. A guy so she reached out. To me
now she prefaced IT with i don't know if you're
dating or if you're looking, At date so obviously trying
to set. Me up that's the only reason you're. Saying

Of this and by, the way has anybody ever done
this eight Four Four? Mojo live as anybody ever showed
up on the wrong day for for an event or.
FOR anything i like though that your friends are setting

(02:57:35):
you up and you're making them pay for. The, bill
yeah so you're you're not going to contribute at all
to this.

Speaker 10 (02:57:42):
Because WHY because i Feel like i'm being treated as,
Like Meat like I'm the i'm the one that's supposed
to be yes rent. A date i'm supposed to show
up and probably be charismatic and make sure she has an.

Speaker 5 (02:57:54):
Enjoyable experience and you asked me So why so that's
why you have to be the the. Treated one does
this girl? See that because. That's unattractive if this girl
realizes that you're not paying.

Speaker 4 (02:58:07):
FOR anything, I mean i don't know what she. Looks
LIKE and i don't want to sound, super visial.

Speaker 3 (02:58:12):
But like you didn't look At. HER INSTAGRAM i i
didn't ask for any.

Speaker 10 (02:58:15):
Of, THAT like i Feel like i've known her cousins
SO and i recognize. THE name i just can't figure
out which cousin. It is SO when i, Get there
i'm gonna, Know, immediately oh you the one?

Speaker 4 (02:58:23):

not gonna pay?

At, All Ann i'm warner steak of potatoes already looked. At,
me wait so who's paying?

Speaker 39 (02:58:33):
For?

Speaker 5 (02:58:33):
This now Your buddy's gerard's paying? FOR this i don't
care who pay but what you don't want to look
like a baller and put down The old chase card.

Speaker 4 (02:58:44):
Or whatever i'm not. Chasing, that no.

Speaker 5 (02:58:46):
You're not you're not going as as. A, Woman Uh
and I'll ask shannon And uh Anna and Lydia. And
bianca if a guy doesn't put up, the money if he, doesn't,
Say hey i'm gonna pay for this one or pay,
for you do you look at him like? He's cheap
like if He lets gerard pay for the, whole thing
does it look.

Speaker 13 (02:59:05):
Like, he's, uh, well See if gerard's paying for the,
whole Thing then I'm thinking gerard's just being nice and
treating everybody.

Speaker 3 (02:59:11):
To Dinner so calv's off. The hook if what if made,
her pay THEN then i would have a bad taste in.

Speaker 4 (02:59:17):
My mouth don't you be Looking at? Girard?

Speaker 5 (02:59:18):
