Speaker 1 (00:00):
W k Q on Detroit's a hard radio station, guaranteed human.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Mojo.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Don't think on God, let.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
Me take you back to the beginnings already.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're a
dodo ahead, go.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
It is Mojo in the Morning. Lions, Oh my god,
I'll tell you what. It was ugly, but it was
a wind what four town, it's rooted up egos, that's what.
Speaker 5 (00:50):
The abscamation point.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yeah. I didn't think they were going to win for
a while there. The the Giants looked like they had
our number, and the Lions offensive line and their defense
just looked kind of a little scattered. But Lions went again.
Lions went again, and I was in the bathroom for
most of it. So all right, So yesterday I woke
(01:18):
up and I was feeling great. I was it was incredible,
and I ended up going to work out, and so
I worked out yesterday morning. Yesterday morning, I woke up early.
I'm like, tell use, I'm going to work out and
ready for this one. I even because I got talked
into this by George from six. I got into I'm
gonna try to do saunas three to four days a week.
(01:39):
So George has been telling me that's been his key
to losing weight. So I'm like, all right, I'm gonna
do a sauna. So I did a sauna, and I
think I saunaed too long because I was not feeling
great as we were driving down to the game, and
I'm starting to get that.
Speaker 6 (01:54):
Little bubble gut was coming and which is cauldron.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
It was boiling and it was brewing, and it was
inside of me.
Speaker 7 (02:05):
Do you start to get panicky when that happens, when
you're on your way to somewhere where there's going to
be a public restroom situation?
Speaker 4 (02:12):
So do I?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
And it was not a great thing because we went
with Will and Jessica and Will got us field passes
so before the game we can go down on the
field if we wanted to. I don't think me. I
think they would have had a bio hazard on that field. Gosh.
So we get in and I'm quickly going, guys, I
think I have to go to the bathroom, and they're thinking, obviously,
I'm going, Pete, all right, it's gonna be greack. I
(02:34):
went in there and I unloaded stall to section one
oh four. I think I don't know where I was
and I just had one of those moments where I'm like,
oh God, all right, thank god, it's out of me.
And then we go and we're standing there on the
field and we're taking our pictures and doing all of
our stuff. I said hi to a couple of listeners.
(02:55):
It was great, and then all of a sudden, it
was it's coming, Dad.
Speaker 8 (03:02):
So do you not eat or drink anything the whole
time you're there and fear that it'll keep happening.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Anna, I thought, this is the first time I blamed
it on the egg white bites. At first I thought
it was the egg white bites from Starbucks. It was
not egg white bites from Starbucks. It was I think
I was. I don't know. I think I got messed
up by that on. So I don't eat, don't drink.
I get up to the concession area and I'm thinking,
I at least got to replenish with water because I'm
thinking I've got to be dehydrated. But you're right, though,
(03:28):
I don't want to eat or drink normally when I
go out in a public place where there's public bathrooms,
because I have to tell you, in all the years
that I've been on this earth, and in all the
years that I've been a detroiter, it's the first stadium
restroom I've ever used it. Yesterday. I presumed it yesterday.
That says a lot. I've peed in tons of urinals,
(03:50):
and I've peed in tons of toilets because they were
the only ones available, But I have never sat my
bare ass on a toilet. Hopefully, I gotta be honest.
I bear asked it because I was you thought before. Yeah, fashion,
I apologized, but I had to. I never in public,
(04:14):
not well. Not only did I raw dog that, then
I went back upstairs. We sat in the club level
two hundred. I raw dog the one outside.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Took a shower when you got home.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, Shannon, I'm going to say this to you. I
did after the third time.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Yeah, you do look skinnier today, Gibbs.
Speaker 2 (04:44):
It was awful. Literally, I ran for more yards and
you have more runs than the Lions. It was so bad,
And I don't know if anybody's ever had this happen
to them. I'd love to know. Have you ever had
this happen to you where you had you had to duty,
and you had the bubble guts and you had it
in a public place, where's the worst place to have it.
(05:06):
I think a Lions game is the worst place to
have it. I'm with you the last well.
Speaker 6 (05:10):
I do it at the Pistons game a couple of times,
but at for Afield I had to go as well,
and it is one of the worst times, depend upon
the time of the of the game that you actually
have to go, because the Lions can be crazy. Yeah,
and everybody wants to go to the jurnials. But the
longer lines are for the stalls. That's what sucks. Can
I tell you how God is so good? I'm standing
in this long line up in the two hundred level,
(05:31):
and I'm not kidding you. I am probably the fiftieth
guy deep on this thing, and I'm clinching and it's
having hard problems. All of a sudden, this guy walks
from out of nowhere and says, hey, there's nobody in
that bathroom right there. I turn, I look, and I
go the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
I went in completely empty bathroom, went inside there toileted
it up, and then God's got The funny thing was
I was in there in such a quick period of time,
or the line was so long. The guy that was
standing in front of me was still just getting into
where you couldn't see him in the bathroom. Yeah, it
was crazy. What's up, Jordan? Hi, it's Mojo in the morning.
(06:16):
How you doing. Oh, hold on, I gotta turn you on. Hi, Jordan.
Speaker 9 (06:21):
So I'm very impressed.
Speaker 10 (06:23):
Did you take the picture you put online before or after.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
The bathroom that was in between one and two?
Speaker 11 (06:31):
Okay, I was gonna say you took a good picture.
Speaker 9 (06:34):
It pretty hard.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Let me tell you, Jordan. In the first there's a
group shot picture. Okay, if you go to the Instagram,
you'll see it, the group shot picture. It's bubble gutting
right at that moment, the picture of me and Chelsea
side by side, it's about to come out. It is
not great. So if you see it on the Facebook,
Instagram or whatever, yes, it is. I mean it is.
(06:57):
And I'm wearing Did you see the pants I was wearing? Yes,
you know I was wearing gray jeans.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
I didn't get that.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
No. No. The only worst than gray jeans would have
been khakis. I would have kackied my khakis if I
If I did it, it was not good Jordan's It
was not a good situation for me yesterday. Yeah, have
you ever read a bubble gut injured emergency in public place?
Speaker 5 (07:24):
Jordan, I think the I think the worst time to
have one is I was in my truck and I
was tway between Detroit and Grand Rapids. God, there is
no place.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
Nowhere after you get past Lancing. If you're in between
Lancing and Grand Rapids, it's farm land. You're You're.
Speaker 9 (07:45):
I just passed Lance. It's like it's gonna be mad.
Speaker 10 (07:49):
Read that.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Yeah, to turn the heat on.
Speaker 9 (07:53):
Turn everything off.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yes, they need a footballs out there, they do.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Somebody needs to put something big over there. Yeah, well,
thank you buddy. Happy Thanksgiving Jordan. Uh, it was one
of those ones too. Then when you're done, the game's
over with. We win, and then we get home and
I get home enough to know that I can have
my own toilet mm hm in the morning. Fans wait
(08:23):
tough for you coffee.
Speaker 9 (08:24):
That's a wind.
Speaker 12 (08:26):
Ball.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
We'd down the steed. My Charckey team will not and
will the moon. Jones home for his toilet stand in
Way told me he one time was in the bathroom
when they were driving down the field. That is uh,
(08:55):
that is one of the best in the world. Theo.
He said that he was in the bathroom room and
they were driving there was They started with the ball
I think on like the two yard line. He's like, oh,
there's no way they're going to score this fast. And
they drove all the way down and he was there going,
oh my god, people are cheering and screaming. He had
to run out, I think with his pants probably still unbuckled.
But what's up, Sarah, how you doing?
Speaker 13 (09:18):
Good morning?
Speaker 14 (09:18):
I'm doing fine, Thank you. How are you guys?
Speaker 2 (09:21):
Fantastic? What's happening?
Speaker 14 (09:24):
Well, I'm an Uber.
Speaker 15 (09:25):
List driver and I listen to you guys faithfully.
Speaker 16 (09:28):
Okay, we love.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
You for that. Thank you so much.
Speaker 14 (09:32):
Day Friday night, Saturday night, you guys are my party.
Speaker 9 (09:36):
In this car.
Speaker 2 (09:36):
Okay, that's awesome. Friday night dance party.
Speaker 9 (09:39):
With us, that's right, and I have videos to prove it.
Speaker 14 (09:42):
But anyway, with me being a lift of Uber driver,
I had a long ride. I had the bubble guts
and my.
Speaker 9 (09:50):
Face is getting green, you know.
Speaker 1 (09:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (09:55):
My passengers in the back, like I said, I swear, I.
Speaker 9 (09:57):
Gotta go, I gotta go. I gotta go.
Speaker 14 (09:59):
She's like a get to my job.
Speaker 17 (10:01):
It's right by the door. I said, miss you don't understand,
I'm not gonna make it. My left literally filled up
with poop from the front.
Speaker 14 (10:14):
You are lying, not lion, I'm not lying. As soon
as she got out of my car, I pulled around the.
Speaker 9 (10:22):
Corner from her top.
Speaker 2 (10:25):
Last second, I had to dumper when when you used
the breath the bad word there. But wait a second,
that's what kind of an uber rating did you get?
Speaker 14 (10:36):
I'm a five star.
Speaker 13 (10:38):
Baby, Joe.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
What's up? It's mojo in the morning. Where'd you get
the bubble guts?
Speaker 18 (10:48):
Well, it wasn't me, but it was my wife. And
we were on our way home from a friend's birthday party.
Speaker 19 (10:55):
They had like habachi night at their house.
Speaker 18 (10:57):
Okay, and we're two seconds away. She says she's gotta go.
I'm like, do you want me to turn around? She said, no,
just floor it. Well we get on like the lodge
and there's nowhere to pull over on the lodge. Yeah,
And she said you have to get off right now.
So I ended up pulling off and she's like, what
am I going to go in?
Speaker 19 (11:18):
And all we had in the.
Speaker 18 (11:20):
Trunk of the car was a crockpot box And we
pulled over and she used the crockpot.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Box Oh my god, on the side of the road.
Can you imagine on the lodge. Nonetheless, you're you're on
the side of the road right around the lodge in Wyoming,
there's a lady with a crockpot. Crap pot, a crap.
Speaker 9 (11:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:43):
What did you do with the box?
Speaker 19 (11:44):
You left it there? You took it?
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Oh, we left it.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
There's no way that car.
Speaker 18 (11:49):
It was like champagne popping like it was not.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, it's not solid, by the way, can I can
I be honest with you, that box is probably still
there somewhere. There's probably somebody still running around cleaning that
thing up. So yeah, oh my god, well you you
made it there. You're a great wife and you treat
your your woman well. Chelsea was such a great wife
to me yesterday too. She felt so bad for me.
(12:14):
Are you okay? Is everything okay? I go, Chelse, let's
not talk about it, because the more we talk about it,
the more I feel like I have to go. All right,
it's Mojoe in the morning.

would work with me on that.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
But it turns out that they're there.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
Narrows it down of when this Michael Jordan played his

Speaker 3 (14:43):
We jo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
All right, Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on
the thirty.
Speaker 7 (14:49):
Well, Mork Geyser, he's one of the now famous perpetrators
of that slender Man attack from God twenty fourteen.
Speaker 4 (14:57):
It's been more than a decade.
Speaker 7 (14:58):
If you remember that, I disappeared after cutting off her
court mandated electronic monitoring bracelet and walking away from a
group home in Madison, Wisconsin over the weekend.
Speaker 20 (15:09):
Tonight the urgent search in Madison, Wisconsin for a twenty
three year old woman on the run, Morgan Geyser, an
attacker behind the twenty fourteen Slender Man stabbing. Madison police
say Geyser cut off her ankle monitor and escaped a
group home Saturday night, last seen around eight o'clock with
an adult acquaintance. Authorities urging the public to alert them
if they see her sharing this recent image caught on
(15:31):
security footage last month, Geyser's lawyer urging her to turn
herself in tonight.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Do not continue to remain on the rud like this.
It is not your best interest.
Speaker 20 (15:42):
In twenty fourteen, guys are and a friend lured twelve
year old Peyton Lightner into the woods near Waukeshaw and
stabbed her at least nineteen times, nearly killing her. Hoping
in their minds to please the fictional character known as
slender Man. Guys are recounting the attack years ago.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
I stabbed HERU the night, and what part of her body?
Speaker 9 (16:02):
Did you stab her?
Speaker 26 (16:04):
Everywhere?
Speaker 1 (16:07):
Do you know how many times she did it?
Speaker 20 (16:10):
Prosecutors said the girls plotted the stabbing for months and
hoped to live with slender Man in the woods. Guyser
was found not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
She was sentenced to forty years in a mental institution,
but in July, a judge approved her conditional release to
a group home. Now police are investigating, as they say,
they don't know where she is tonight.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 2 (16:35):
They caught her, so she's back in custody. But in
that happened like in the middle of the night. But
it's wild. I wonder. I'm sure she's got to be
going back to a prison. I don't think that they're
putting her in a group home anymore. She's you know, escaping.
But that's really wild, that story. I remember when it
came out. Oh wow, do you know that the girl
that she victimized with the stabbing nineteen times? She said
(16:58):
she still sleeps with Paris scissors underneath her crazy?
Speaker 19 (17:03):
Can someone find me who slender Man was?
Speaker 2 (17:05):
He was stranger things?
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Oh god, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
It was one of those ones where it was like,
wasn't in a movie or something like that?
Speaker 19 (17:14):
Okay, so it's not a real person.
Speaker 7 (17:15):
No, no, yeah, slender Man. Hold on a second, Yeah,
where did that originate?
Speaker 2 (17:21):
It was? I think it was it was a short story.
Yeah that that that was out and uh, slender Man,
a fictional supernatural character originated in on the internet as
a meme and then obviously was perpetuated. Yeah, and then
turned into this and I think it didn't it turn
(17:43):
into a video game too? Didn't slender Man become like
a video game? At one point? You gotta go to
Zach Zack said a jump scare video game. Appreciate you, Zach,
correspondent of the Morning Show.
Speaker 4 (17:55):
Thank you. I can't hear him, but.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
So producers are talking to me in my air round
joking here his actress, and Zach is saying he likes
peanut butter and jelly. Thank you, Zach, I appreciate it.
Speaker 7 (18:10):
I kept getting tips about Tate McCrae over the weekend.
Speaker 4 (18:14):
She was with the dude, some dude with the broken arm,
was the rumor.
Speaker 7 (18:17):
Nobody knew who it was. Well, Duma posted a photo
of them on a date Dooma was like my favorite
by the way, Gossip Blog, but we finally figured out
he is none other than hockey player Jack Hughes of
the New Jersey Devils.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
Oh, I know.
Speaker 7 (18:30):
Jack doesn't have a broken arm, by the way, It's
a hand injury that resulted from like a fluke accident
at a team dinner last week.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
He cut his hand on a piece of glass.
Speaker 7 (18:40):
Yeah, he had to have surgeries out for about two
months for recovery. But yeah, so Tate McCrae and Jack Hughes.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
So the Hughes brothers golf from time to time with
me and not meet with me, but see them on
the golf course. Really nice guys. Their parents are always
really cool. But Jack Hughes a good looking dude, and
a McCray and Jack Hughes she likes our hockey sticks.
Will Jack Hughes get us Tate McCrae for jingle ball?
(19:06):
Would that not be interesting?
Speaker 9 (19:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (19:09):
And lastly, Slim Shady is featured in a new limited
time target mission called Eminem Versus Slim Shady in the
game hit Man World of Assassination. It's a free mission
available during the month of December, and it tasks players
with controlling Agent forty seven to assassinate Slim Shady, who
is being hunted by Eminem himself.
Speaker 27 (19:28):
Oh so Eminem brought us back up a higher gun
can embrace me?
Speaker 2 (19:32):
You help me with a wired team?
Speaker 1 (19:34):
A gun at me? I come back louder and stronger.
So what's it going to be? Killer? Are you ready
to dance with the devil? Or you too death to
hear the beat?
Speaker 7 (19:42):
Zach our official video game correspondent.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Do you play that game?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Zach? Tell me in my ears? He does? He does not, Okay,
he does not, but he would like it for Christmas
from you, Shannon, and he can get it for himself.
Oh that's great.
Speaker 7 (19:55):

were hard questions. Shannon was testing it. She had a

that was just a Detroit one. I went, what the
hell is going on here? Hold on this one?
Speaker 28 (28:39):
This one W Detroit, Whisk Toledo and hard radio station.
Guaranteed Human.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
Oh my god, I hate that.
Speaker 1 (28:53):
Well.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
I love the guaranteed Human because I think that people
need to understand we don't ai anything, because they're stations
now that are just ai. Do we have to say
it though? Yeah? No, why do we have Well, we
have to say it because people are getting fooled by just
you know, a fake person saying stuff. I don't like it, though,
but can I can I say what I do hate.
I hate the fact that basically Fletch took the old one,
(29:16):
just threw on like something new, like have deep voice, guys,
say it right, do it right, guarantee human or have
me do it. I'll do it. Yeah, do it right now.
W KQ I Detroit, w sn X, Grand rap Is Miskegan,
w v KS, Toledo. This is Mojo in the morning.
(29:36):
Guaranteed human? I mean, is Mojo in the morning. You
hit that part though, That one guaranteed human? Except for Anna,
who's not feeling human today.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
You're so quiet.
Speaker 2 (29:50):
I know I feel bad Anna. You you seriously, I
told you this morning. I don't try to be a
hero and get us all sex.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
Well.
Speaker 19 (29:58):
Hell, we have two days.
Speaker 8 (29:59):
I don't know if something happened when Mojo and I
were eating dinner together on Friday, but Saturday I woke
up feeling okay. Saturday night, my stomach started feeling a
little upset, and of course I started yaking. Oh boy,
got what I thought was everything out of my stomach.
So then I started drinking water, like Mojo said, we
(30:19):
probably need to hydrate. Well, then it started coming out
the other end, so it's coming out both sides of me. Sunday,
I wake up. I have nothing in my stomach. I'm
feeling a little cold. I check my temp. I have
a low grade fever. And I'm just I'm not feeling good.
Didn't eat anything yesterday, just ate something for the first time,
So we'll see if that comes up or stays down.
(30:42):
But yeah, I don't think I do anymore, but who knows. Anyways,
not feeling good, and I think I have a really
hard time asking for help in any case, like whether
that's with like I don't know, chores or something like that.
Speaker 19 (31:00):
But even when I'm sick.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
Like I feel bad that you didn't contact any of
us to try to ask.
Speaker 8 (31:05):
I know, I just feel like a burden asking for
anything from anyone.
Speaker 19 (31:09):
But all I wanted yesterday was my mom.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Oh so bad.
Speaker 8 (31:14):
I'm like a grown woman, and all I could think
of is like I just wish somebody could either make
me super like put a blanket on me, because you
should have seen me, like walking around my apartment looking
like the hunchback of Notre Dame, like all shriveled up
and stuff. But yeah, so thirty year old girl like
woman about to be thirty, and all I could think
of was I wanted my mom. My mom was out
(31:35):
of town, so it wasn't like I could even call
her anything. But I'm even thinking if my friends were
to call me and ask me, like, hey, are you
feeling okay?
Speaker 19 (31:43):
Do you need anything?
Speaker 8 (31:44):
I would still say no, because I just I don't
like to ask for help or assistance or anything.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
Isn't it wild when you have those moments in your
life when you just feel so free. I'm so free,
I'm on my own, I'm doing this, And then you
have a moment like this where all you want is
you want to be back in your childhood bed. You
want your mom bringing you up the big bowl of
chicken noodle soup or whatever your throw.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Throw a bowl?
Speaker 19 (32:11):
Was my DoorDash some right now?
Speaker 2 (32:15):
Oh man, where's your mom? Where she had?
Speaker 19 (32:18):
She was up north? Yeah, she's gone up north for
the weekend.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Did you call her and tell her you weren't failing
good her.
Speaker 19 (32:23):
No, I didn't talk to anyone.
Speaker 8 (32:25):
I honestly slept a lot, so no one knows that
I was sick until now.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
I bet if you would have called your mom, she
would have drove home. You think, oh, four hours.
Speaker 7 (32:35):
My child ever said, I just want my mom. I
don't care where I am.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
And I think your mom always looks for opportunities to
hang with you because sometimes you don't. Don't always call
in the the resources of your mom.
Speaker 19 (32:49):
I would have.
Speaker 8 (32:49):
Felt bad making her drive an hour from White Lake
to Detroit, let alone from where she was in Lewiston, Michigan,
four or.
Speaker 19 (32:56):
Five hours away.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
I will tell you moms are like Santa claus Us
or in postal delivery workers. They come all the time,
no matter what the conditions are, they will be there
for you. So my grandma would have been like VI.
Speaker 27 (33:09):
On the.
Speaker 35 (33:13):
Two vs.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Magic, what's going on, Melissa? Or at least I'm sorry,
at least.
Speaker 13 (33:19):
Anna, Anna has the neuro virus?
Speaker 2 (33:23):
How do you know it's going around all the schools
right now?
Speaker 18 (33:28):
Everybody at our kids' schools has the neuro virus.
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Oh my god, I'm starting to get the sweats.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
Wait will you pooping all weekend too.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
I was pooping one day. I'm fine today.
Speaker 4 (33:38):
Okay, that a whole day.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Times at Ford Field, three times at Ford Field.
Speaker 7 (33:43):
But you guys both were together on Friday, both gave
to each other.
Speaker 8 (33:49):
I'm happy that it's happening now.
Speaker 19 (33:56):
So Thanksgiving, I'm going to be ready to eat.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Oh my god, are gonna How long does it go
for a lease? Do you know?
Speaker 26 (34:03):
I am not certain.
Speaker 12 (34:04):
I know a lot of the kids have had it
for a couple of days, but now you guys are ex.
Speaker 7 (34:10):
Dude, the Nora iris you just breathe the same air,
and that's how contagious you.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Already got it. So get ready, Kevin. You need to
lose a little weight anyway, Kevin, I think you need to.
Kevin needs to to have a little cleansing of of
all the wings and French fries he ate over the weekend.
(34:35):
Come to your house and get in the saunas a lease.
I need to know how long this lasts, So find
out from your friends and all the people in the
schools how long these kids are getting sick for. Okay,
we'll do all right. Thank you. What's going on, Jen?
How you doing?
Speaker 1 (34:55):
I'm good?
Speaker 36 (34:56):
How are you.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
We're doing okay, what's up?
Speaker 36 (34:59):
So let me tell you. It's just like Shannon said
when y'all say mom, I need you, like we're there.
I have two kids in the military, ones in Hawaii
and ones in California, and I offered a fly when
they have a cold, like, let me just take care
of my baby.
Speaker 9 (35:13):
You want to have loved it.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Wow, she would have went to have van Hawaii. They
ain't even got to be sick.
Speaker 16 (35:20):
It's a hardship.
Speaker 15 (35:20):
It's a hardship.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
How many times have they ever called in the resources
of you?
Speaker 17 (35:27):
They feel bad.
Speaker 36 (35:28):
So they won't do it. Like my daughter had a
tooth cold and she wouldn't let me. I'm like, let
me get on. I don't care about work, I don't
care about anything.
Speaker 9 (35:35):
Let me be there for you men.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Chelsea's like this too, jan my wife, Chelsea, the boys
could ask for anything. She's driven to Chicago when Jacob's
not felt well, and that's a four hour drive. Four
and a half hour drive, kind of similar to maybe
being up Nora and she has gotten it. I'm like,
where are you going? She goes, I just packed a
little bag. I'm going to Chicago to go take care
of Jacob and you know, make sure that he's okay.
(35:58):
And because the problem is I hate to say this,
but Anna, Rob and Jacob, my son are the type
of people they won't go see a doctor and they'll
just sit there and they'll try to let it just
go through them and then they're sick for a long time.
Speaker 36 (36:11):
You know, you know what mojo is doctor mom, and
we do it happily. That's four hours.
Speaker 2 (36:16):
Absolutely great job, mom, Happy Thanksgiving, Take care of yourself. Uh,
the way that Anna was drinking on Friday, I thought
it would have been five bottles of wine or something
like that. I've never seen, seriously, the only other person
I've seen drink wine like that is Shannon. I was like, man,
she's rubbed off on you. What's going on?
Speaker 37 (36:32):
Susan, Hey, Mojo, I absolutely loved your comments.
Speaker 24 (36:37):
Moms are like santacles.
Speaker 36 (36:38):
They disappear with a bunch of good news.
Speaker 13 (36:40):
I absolutely love them.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
If my mama sounded like you, I'll definitely call it.
By the way, Susan, do you know what? Do you
know what Anna needs to feel better?
Speaker 38 (36:50):
Skimmer Rick Ginger and Honey, no, no.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
No, it's just a spoon. The medicine go down, and
medicine go down, Susan and I have to.
Speaker 36 (37:06):
Say anything, and he already told you what to do.
Speaker 2 (37:08):
That's it. I'm telling you. That's a super.
Speaker 24 (37:21):
Than I do.
Speaker 37 (37:22):
Guys, have a wonderful day, great stump of.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
The day every Thanksgiving? All that to end that beauty
of a of a call Rachel, what's up?
Speaker 14 (37:34):
Hi?
Speaker 15 (37:35):
Kevin?
Speaker 14 (37:35):
Move over?
Speaker 23 (37:37):
Move away?
Speaker 4 (37:38):
You can further wait, I'm closer than human further Yeah?
Speaker 30 (37:41):
Why?
Speaker 35 (37:42):
Well?
Speaker 32 (37:42):
When when I have a neurovirus. The first symptom I had,
I was doubled over in stomach pain.
Speaker 14 (37:48):
It was the worst stomach pain of my life.
Speaker 39 (37:52):
And then I was in the bathroom fifteen to twenty
times a day and it lasted at least two to
three days for me, and it was very concacious.
Speaker 12 (37:58):
And my husband had immediately after I have stomach and
then my kiss got it.
Speaker 25 (38:04):
So it's very very contagious.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
How long do it last?
Speaker 40 (38:08):
About three days?
Speaker 2 (38:10):
Okay? Three days? Good? You'll be ready for Thanksgiving?
Speaker 19 (38:13):
Kevin, perfect, it'll clean.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
We got to give doctor Warner here have a great day,
rays like mom? Will he travel far? Come on here, Warner.
Speaker 1 (38:24):
I hate the cold almost as much as the person
who sneezed on me and got me.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Said, this is Mojo in the morning. Ah, the season
is here, 'tis? The season for Thanksgiving, Christmas and all
the great holidays starts this weekend when Santa Claus comes
(38:49):
rolling down Woodward with the big Thanksgiving parade that we
have here. And Shannon, year after year is always there
since she's been a little girl. Now with a little
girl in her house, she brings Smith and Lucy every
single year to go and you camp out, like for
those are in Grand Rapids and Toledo that have never
been to the parade. I mean literally, we're talking one
(39:13):
hundred thousand people or so that probably go downtown and
deal with you know, traffic and the Lions game right afterwards,
and they try to get their spots on Woodward Avenue
so that they could see the floats and everything. What
time do you get down there?
Speaker 4 (39:28):
We get down there. We actually don't get down there
super early. We get down at seven.
Speaker 7 (39:33):
Okay, maybe the prade down They say the parsee starts
at nine, It really doesn't. It doesn't start till like ten.
Wells like it's like a slow roll. Yeah, yeah, so
it doesn't come by you know where we set up,
and we set up in the same spot every year.
But to your point, we wake up, we get our
entire family together, my mom, my sister, my nieces, my brother,
(39:55):
I mean like everybody. So we have a pretty big,
you know group that that we have going down and
it's one of our favorite family traditions.
Speaker 4 (40:03):
We've been doing it forever.
Speaker 7 (40:04):
So our setup is we have one of those benches
that has like six seats attached to it west Springs
from his.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
You know, is it like a camping or bench or
is it like the bench that you'd put out to
watch your kids play sports.
Speaker 4 (40:18):
Yes, but there's six seats attached. We've got that. We've
got two of those. We've got heaters.
Speaker 7 (40:23):
Oh we have no, we have two of those, and
we have a bench that we have heaters, we have blankets, like,
we have the whole thing.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
So I get out there early.
Speaker 7 (40:31):
I set everything in our in our spot because there
are other people that join us from other families, so
we always have, you know, the same group, and then
we all go and have brunch at Hudson Cafe part
of the tradition, and then before the parade starts, we
go back to our spots we can, you know, watch
the entirety of the parade. It never freaking fails that
(40:52):
every year somebody the audacity takes our setup and moves
it from the side of Woodward up onto the sidewalk.
And then when we get there after a brunch, these
people are sitting along Woodward and our stuff is up
on the sidewalk.
Speaker 4 (41:08):
I'm like, you don't even understand, you know me.
Speaker 7 (41:11):
I'll tell the kids go up and sit along the
street like the adults are fine, But to the kids,
I'm like, go go sit so you can get the
beads and the candy and take pictures with the you know,
the clowns and whatever.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
You don't say anything, then.
Speaker 7 (41:24):
I think Less has probably said something, or we'll try
to move our stuff around. But we have a lot
of stuff, so it's not like I can be like,
get the heck out of here. We were here for
I just wouldn't do that on Thanksgiving. But all of
that stuff they move it anna. Every year this happens,
and I'm like, what the heck?
Speaker 2 (41:40):
All right, so quick a couple of questions here.
Speaker 7 (41:44):
They know we're coming back, and we're mad when we
come back, and it's like they ignore us and pretime
we don't exist.
Speaker 2 (41:50):
I've done this multiple times for different things, where you
wake up early in the morning, get there before everybody
else and set up your spots only to have people
do it. But you have to be vocal with them
and say I'm sorry. Even though it is the kettle.
Speaker 7 (42:03):
Here, you wouldn't say, have West do it.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Like we went. We stayed at some place I don't
even know, like an all inclusive, and to get pool
spots you had to put towels on chairs and they
would basically say to you, hey, you know you can
save your seats, but you just got to put a
towel on there. And we would put towels and then
we put our flip flops.
Speaker 4 (42:25):
Yeah, the same thing on vacation.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
How do people How do people not realize that it's
your stuff?
Speaker 7 (42:30):
They can I say, we bring out portable heaters, we
have a whole set up.
Speaker 4 (42:34):
They don't care.
Speaker 7 (42:37):
And so and I think also because it's Thanksgiving, I
don't feel like getting into with people of this. I
am in my I give no F's era. At this
point in my left periodmenopausas really got to me.
Speaker 4 (42:46):
So here's what I did. Here's what I did.
Speaker 7 (42:48):
I printed out fake iHeartMedia credentials that say reserved on them,
and I am taping them all over our chairs using
seat sure am I like that it says reserved for
media and it has our logo all over it. So
I had Crystal from Promotions print out a bunch of them.
Speaker 4 (43:12):
What was my thing? I just don't have access to
the printer she does.
Speaker 2 (43:15):
She didn't know what she was printing.
Speaker 7 (43:16):
I am hoping that this helps that people won't move
our stuff because they'll think it's more official.
Speaker 2 (43:21):
Can I tell you? I think you're that's first off,
that's a very smart thing for you to do, Thank you,
But it also may not be smart enough. What you
should do is you should put the parade company logo
logo and then I'm going to parade company or Detrade
police department. I think that would be bad. I don't
(43:41):
think you can do that. Is a cop, you know?
Speaker 4 (43:44):
But I was like, nobody from my heart cures all right.
Speaker 2 (43:46):
So here's my question. I want to ask this question
to the listener. I want to know from you. Are
you the Shannon in this or are you the person
who moves it? Are you the person that gets there early?
Goes and sets stuff up, only to have some jack
hole who might be the other person calling up and
you're the person that moves the stuff. Because that's pretty
(44:08):
bold that you have all that stuff. You have, all
your things, you got your kids, just a blanking, you
got everything you got to You got twelve twelve seats
basically sitting there? Whereabouts are you? Because I want to
find out.
Speaker 7 (44:20):
I don't want to say, I say, in the same spot,
every same goal. Since my mom was a little girl,
they've sat the family has sat in the same spot
every year.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
Did they have the same things happened to them?
Speaker 10 (44:33):
Like?
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Did that?
Speaker 4 (44:34):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (44:35):
I don't like people are that. I think back in
the day, people weren't that that bold people people have
always been both. Really there's some ahles out here, but
I don't care. I can't believe people for that. Hold on,
is it? Alana? Yes, Hilana? What's up?
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Shannon?
Speaker 13 (44:52):
You could pay me one hundred dollars with your stuff?
Speaker 2 (44:57):
You know, not bad a snap filler. You could be
like a seat fill or that guys, I got you, Alana?
Speaker 4 (45:04):
Are you there?
Speaker 2 (45:05):
Are you the type that gets there early and put
your stuff down? Or are you the person that goes
there and just says, I screw these people. I don't
care they got here earlier or not.
Speaker 13 (45:14):
Oh it's such a hard thing.
Speaker 14 (45:17):
I want to say, screw those people, honestly, Yes.
Speaker 4 (45:21):
Honest, yeah, this year.
Speaker 7 (45:25):
If I got paid this year, if I come back
and there's people in those seats, I'm going on Facebook
Live on the Mojo in the Morning page and calling
them all right.
Speaker 2 (45:34):
It would be the best ever.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
I am not kidding.
Speaker 2 (45:37):
You would have more people happy about that. Shame them, shame.
I'm going to gino, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (45:47):
The one that's thinking, shammon, are you really real?
Speaker 39 (45:51):
You just like disposed to all your information?
Speaker 14 (45:55):
So don't you think for sure they're gonna mess with
you now?
Speaker 2 (45:58):
No, No, they're not gonna.
Speaker 7 (46:00):
That's right, because I just said I'm going to go
on Facebook Live and call them right, they will be.
They will be on the Moju in the Morning, Instagram, Facebook,
TikTok and Twitch that morning.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
Follow them their cars like the news reporters do when they,
you know, go hey, I'm Rob Walchak from Fox to
problem solvers.
Speaker 7 (46:19):
Yes, don't don't, just like I'm not trying to defend myself.
I mean, I am trying to defend myself, but there
this happens to a lot of people that morning, like,
don't do that to people.
Speaker 2 (46:28):
Hey, what's up, Dean? How you doing?
Speaker 9 (46:32):
I ever heard of movie your feet, Loose your seat?
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Move? Come on, Dean, Dean? And there's definitely people out
there who's gonna move it around.
Speaker 22 (46:42):
Now.
Speaker 9 (46:42):
I'm just gonna keep my eyes out for those signs.
I won't even sit by it so some other four
innocent schmuck can just catch all the heat for it.
Speaker 2 (46:48):
Right Dean, If you see this happening to Shannon, do
you like her enough to call those people out, like, Hey,
that's not your stuff.
Speaker 5 (46:55):
Well I just told the operator I'm gonna keep my
eyes out for it so I can just do it myself.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
And again, what is that saying?
Speaker 9 (47:03):
Move your feet, lose your seat.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
Move your feet, lose your seat? Middle school? Right there?
What's up, Adam? How you doing?
Speaker 13 (47:13):
God good?
Speaker 2 (47:14):
What's going on? What do you what do you want
to tell Shannon.
Speaker 7 (47:20):
Or do any of that?
Speaker 14 (47:21):
Just tell them we were here for the move?
Speaker 8 (47:25):
Have your husband left?
Speaker 10 (47:27):
If not?
Speaker 11 (47:29):
You know what, in today's world, you.
Speaker 41 (47:32):
Have to speak up for yourself or everyone will walk.
Speaker 2 (47:35):
I think Shannon's afraid that she'll look like a Karen,
and I don't. I don't think you look like you
don't look like a Karen if you're standing up for
your rights, right, yeah, if you're the person that gets
there first, squatter on the other people, it is. Yeah,
(47:55):
that's crazy. Thank you, Adam. What's going on? Mary? How
are you?
Speaker 25 (48:00):
Third morning?
Speaker 2 (48:02):
Good morning? What's going on?
Speaker 10 (48:03):
Everybody?
Speaker 25 (48:04):
I'm thirty, first time, long time who So it's been
thirty plus years since I've been down there for the
Thanksgiving Day parade with my son's daughter and nieces. And
this year I'm taking my grandchildren and my great.
Speaker 16 (48:24):
Nieces down there.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
That's awesome. And will you do what Shendon Days does
and get there early and get a spot.
Speaker 25 (48:33):
Well, I already made brands, I already made what went
down there, scope it out. You better believe I'll be
down there at for thirty.
Speaker 2 (48:41):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (48:42):
Oh, you don't need to get through that early. I'm
just telling you.
Speaker 24 (48:44):
The streets closed.
Speaker 25 (48:46):
You guys know the streets closed at five o'clock.
Speaker 4 (48:48):
Yeah, but it's.
Speaker 7 (48:51):
Yeah, you don't want to park near the parade anyway.
You'll promise you you'll never get out.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
You'll be stuck there for a while. You want to
park far and walk in. Yeah, but Mary, this is
a poor lady that also, like Shannon, gets her stuff moved.
If you get up and have to go to use
like the portagohn's that are there, and you go in
your portage and and come back and somebody's moved all
your stuff, what do you do?
Speaker 7 (49:11):
You go pee on their blanket? You already emptied yourself,
always still took some to go.
Speaker 2 (49:18):
Something.
Speaker 25 (49:18):
I'm actually bringing my own porter John.
Speaker 9 (49:20):
So nobody's.
Speaker 2 (49:24):
Nobody. That's great a commode. I'm sitting on a commode.
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (49:32):
No, there's always more in the tank.
Speaker 2 (49:35):
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
Mary, you guys by Mary, enjoy the parade, Laurie, what's.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
Up, Laurie.
Speaker 42 (49:44):
Hey, Shannon, I hate to tell you this, but you're
like one of those people that stands in line and
hold a whole spot for an entire group of people.
Speaker 4 (49:53):
No, that's a little different.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Shanna is not doing anything wrong doing what she's doing.
Speaker 4 (49:57):
That is that's apples and oranges.
Speaker 42 (50:00):
No, not necessarily, because not everybody can get up there
and that early and you're holding.
Speaker 4 (50:05):
You can you you actually can just make set your
alarm for an hour earlier.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
My friends, why can they not? I don't understand why
they can't.
Speaker 4 (50:14):
Well, you're holding a giant space taking up room.
Speaker 19 (50:19):
There were a bunch of other people that could because
right now, yes.
Speaker 4 (50:22):
And we're going to use that ring. Yes, we're going
to use that.
Speaker 2 (50:25):
The situation is Shannon is waking up.
Speaker 33 (50:27):
Why doesn't one of you stay behind and then somebody
goes grabs breakfast for everybody and bring that and you
eat at your spot.
Speaker 4 (50:33):
Then no, because we want to eat as family.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
Laurie, I have to be as the family at the chairs, Laurie,
I listen. I'm usually the one antagonizing. Shannon. I think
that you are being an antagonist today.
Speaker 7 (50:47):
Yeah, maybe have the day you deserve.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
Wait, have the day you deserve.
Speaker 13 (50:54):
That, Shannon, you too, Bye.
Speaker 7 (51:01):
You get the neuro virus, my friends.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
Evil.
Speaker 13 (51:07):
Chanted shame on you.
Speaker 4 (51:09):
I love a good shame on you. Be better, better.
Speaker 28 (51:15):
By the way.
Speaker 2 (51:16):
I hope you don't get the neurovirus at the parade?
Can you imagine having that everybody's waiting outside that porta
John wanting to know what's going on in that thing.
All right, well, you take care of yourself. Okay, this is,
by the way, this is supposed to be a week
we're thankful for nothing. Thankful, Oh my god, I'm thankful
for that moment that lady, any of these other ones,
(51:39):
good ones, people have gotten in confrontations.
Speaker 35 (51:41):
Listen, I have someone on the line right now who
says she works for the parade, but she doesn't want
to go on the air.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
Come on, what does she say that? She said that
she'll help Shannon out?
Speaker 35 (51:49):
Or no, she wants to know exactly where Shannon said.
Speaker 2 (51:51):
Wow, yeah, what's the reasoning?
Speaker 35 (51:53):
Tell me she's online?
Speaker 2 (51:54):
Three if you want to coercor wait wait, hold on,
parade lady, Hello, you called us, I can put you on.
What's going on?
Speaker 15 (52:02):
I was trying to help Shannon out. Thanks for that.
Speaker 13 (52:05):
Her seats aren't moved.
Speaker 15 (52:07):
I didn't want to go on air.
Speaker 2 (52:08):
She can she talk to you off the air and
have you help her?
Speaker 16 (52:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (52:14):
Okay, can we get her some grand stanti? Can we
get her off the streets?
Speaker 17 (52:20):
Hold one, grandstands are a little bit iffy this year.
Speaker 24 (52:23):
You know, there's a couple less because of the construction
at uh Griend Circus.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
Yeah, no.
Speaker 7 (52:28):
I like, all.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
Right, hold on, She's gonna get your phone number. Lydia's
gonna get you phone number, and then Shannon will call
you later after the show. Okay, okay, all right, hold on.
I like Tony's idea. Tony, what do you think Shannon's
you do.
Speaker 9 (52:42):
Buy some orange cone to get some yellow caution?
Speaker 2 (52:50):
Did you imagine you go have like a bio put
like fake bio hazard?
Speaker 31 (53:01):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (53:01):
Thanksgiving can be emotion. We drive long distances to see
family we only see once a year, only to realize
once per year is too often.
Speaker 4 (53:09):
Happy Thanksgiving from Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 2 (53:12):

Speaker 24 (53:45):

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Oh h free Scott ray A Sky is gonna be
there too, so she's gonna be hosting with us.
Speaker 3 (53:52):
All right, Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty?
Speaker 2 (53:56):
Al Right, Shannon with what's training in the Dirty on
the thirty?
Speaker 7 (53:58):
Well, Wicked for Good dominated the weekend box office with
a record breaking one hundred and fifty million dollar US debut,
one of the biggest openings of the year actually passed
the launch of the original Wicked movie set a record
for the biggest opening weekend ever for a film based
on a Broadway show, that record previously held by the
(54:21):
first movie. It also snagged the second biggest opening weekend
of the year in North America. Do you want to
know the only movie this year so far to beat it?
Speaker 1 (54:31):
This year?
Speaker 31 (54:32):
Mm?
Speaker 4 (54:32):
Hmm, so it was number two? Minecraft? The Minecraft movie beat.
Speaker 7 (54:37):
It, Yeah, just by a little bit. But it by
the way I saw it last night, and how was it?
Was a good all the feels. I liked the first
movie better still this one was definitely more emotional, I thought, but.
Speaker 4 (54:50):
Still so good.
Speaker 7 (54:52):
Such a good story about friendship and oh yeah, it
was really good.
Speaker 4 (54:56):
Definitely worth seeing in the movie theater as well.
Speaker 7 (55:00):
While performing on his twenty twenty four World tour, build
as really his final run under the childish gambino named
Donald Glover says he experienced a serious health emergency during
a show in Louisiana, got a severe headache, his his
vision started getting all blurry, kept performing, went to the
hospital in Houston, his next tour stop, where doctors told
(55:22):
him this news.
Speaker 27 (55:24):
So when we went to Houston, I went to the
hospital and the doctor was.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Like, you had a stroke. And the first thing I.
Speaker 21 (55:39):
Thought was like, oh, like.
Speaker 27 (55:42):
Here, I am still copying Jamie FOXX.
Speaker 9 (55:45):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Okay, here's the crazy part of that. That wasn't all.
Speaker 7 (55:49):
Further medical checks revealed he had a hole in his
heart and a broken foot which he'd been performing on,
forcing him into multiple surgeries.
Speaker 4 (55:58):
And then if you.
Speaker 7 (55:58):
Remember, he had a can So the rest of my tour.
Speaker 2 (56:04):
How does it feel? He gives us all man, he
doesn't want to cancel a tour. It's funny he will
do that, and yet there are artists that they get
like a noseby to cancel their shoes.
Speaker 6 (56:14):
Zach was really going through it because Zach loves chowdish Gambino.
He saw him and I think New York one time
and he had tickets to go see him in Denver,
and he canceled his tour without any explanation.
Speaker 2 (56:23):
So this is the first time in over a year
we figured.
Speaker 4 (56:25):
Out what's going on.
Speaker 7 (56:28):
In a video posted to his social media, actor Kevin
Spacey is clearing up the story and we talked about
this last week that he is homeless. He expressed his
thanks to all of his fans who reached out offering
help or checking in, and then clarified that his comments
in a recent interview we're very much misinterpreted, but I feel.
Speaker 43 (56:47):
It would be disingenuous of me to allow you to
believe that I am indeed homeless in the colloquial sense
I said. I was basically living in hotels and airbnbs
and going where the work is, just as I did
when I first started out in this business. I've been
working nearly non stop this entire year, and for that
(57:09):
I have so much to be grateful for.
Speaker 44 (57:13):
And there are many people, as we all know, who
are indeed actually living on the streets or in their cars,
or in terrible financial situations, and my heart goes out
to them.
Speaker 21 (57:24):
But it is clear from the article itself that.
Speaker 43 (57:27):
I am not one of them, nor was I attempting
to say that I was.
Speaker 2 (57:33):
God, he sounds like he's I was literally still watching.
If they redid the final season, I can't believe the
producers wouldn't say, all right, we're going to do what
would have been.
Speaker 7 (57:47):
And lastly, how about that Lions game yesterday? I was
getting so nervous and then I mean final score thirty
four twenty seven in overtime coaching and Campbell after the.
Speaker 41 (57:57):
Game, you don't you don't know exactly how the game's
gonna go. And you guys just kept slatting it back, man,
buying your time, and we made.
Speaker 26 (58:07):
The stop, reduced your lunch. Great job, yeahs.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
Our office.
Speaker 41 (58:12):
When we need to banked all that, we'll get you
this here in a minute. But I'm telling you, man,
you don't know how to ride it. You don't know
what's gonna happen. You just find the way to win.
Speaker 2 (58:20):
Okay, you know who won that game for us? Did
Jim Gibbs game for us?
Speaker 45 (58:25):
You start watching it tonight, get to work.
Speaker 2 (58:28):
And second, this is got hold on, let me do
the Gibbs one. This is Dan Campbell talking about Gibbs.
Speaker 31 (58:33):
He's electric, you know, and he's just he's a game
changer man. When he found a crease, he he was
going to the house. This was not about first downs
and you know, picking up a few yards or exploiting.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
I mean, this guy's going to the house and then
never got the juice to make it happen.
Speaker 31 (58:47):
He's got vision, he's a difference maker, so he was.
Speaker 2 (58:50):
I mean, I've never seen build a basically end in
the first play with a running back. Usually it's a
big deep you know pass That one thing. You can't
teach his speed though, and that's what he's got. Can
we have a conversation about the defense getting tricked by
more plays by the Giants, because if they can do it,
we got to figure something out. I don't know if
(59:11):
we just thought that this team was going to be
an easy one to be we did absolutely. They were
two and eight.
Speaker 6 (59:17):
They've only won two games and one was like an
overtime game where Russell Wilson was the quarterback. Earlier in
the season, this was supposed to be the game where
we put up fifty points and we looked like ourselves
and identity.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
Our offensive line does not look great, but we got
to figure that out too.
Speaker 7 (59:32):
But what is GoF talking about her looking ahead to
the Thanksgiving game on Thursday.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
We don't. Let's make sure we get ready for that game.
Speaker 45 (59:38):
Yeah, you start watching it tonight as soon as you
get home and get to work. And I think our
coaches are probably on their way to the facility right now.
They get to work themselves. And yeah, we're used to
the tradition of this. We've played Green Bay in this
game before, so they have some familiarity with it too,
and division game at our place. Thanksgiving everything you want.
And they're a great team.
Speaker 7 (59:58):
And we'll by the way, celebrating the Lions for sure
this morning. But the Pistons taken a n today.
Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
Are we going for.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Thirteen in a row?
Speaker 6 (01:00:05):
Yeah, We've only won thirteen straight games two previous times
in our franchise history. The first was eighty nine to
ninety when we won a championship. The second time was
three to four when we won a championship.
Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
And the third time could be this year when we
win a championship. So go back to the Lions for
one second, because I think we've seriously got to talk
about this. So they have to win Thursday's game, like
they have to win all these division games. The fact
that the Bears. Ben Johnson's Bears are in first place.
It's crazy, and they beat the Steelers yesterday. Like I
(01:00:36):
was looking at the headlines this morning that we're on
all the NFL sites, and all the NFL sites are
now saying that they don't believe that they'll get three
teams into the playoffs in this division. So it's got
to be possibly just two teams that are going to
get into it. But it's amazing to think that the game.
Only Minnesota is behind us as far as things are
going right now. So you have to win baby.
Speaker 7 (01:00:58):
Yesterday, anything from today. So you can always listen to
the podcast on the Free I studio give more.
Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
Mojo in the Morning dot Com Mojo in the Morning's Dirty.
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
On the thirty.
Speaker 40 (01:01:10):
You're calling.
Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
All right tickets to jingle Ball right now. Kelly is

Speaker 16 (01:01:24):

Speaker 2 (01:01:24):

Speaker 39 (01:01:31):

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Okay or both? You get them both. Congratulations. For the
price of one ticket, you get to see all those
acts that are going to be there at jingle Ball.
And we look forward to getting a chance to meet you.
Hang on and we'll get you your tickets. Everybody who

at Place Kia for all the great deal this holiday
season and you can go sing on along to the
Summer Place Kid jingle that they have and see our
good friend Tanya La Lan It's Mojo in the morning show,
thank you for being here, your home of War, the Roses,
the Second Date Update which we have coming up here,
(01:02:15):
and The Dirty on the thirty. So keV wants to
know if he should have to pay her back. What's
the story? So I had a.
Speaker 6 (01:02:23):
Friend who became more than a friend and we entered
a little physical, little situation ship. So it was bigger
than just like a homey type of vibe. I think
context is important in this regard. So she asked me,
you know, we're just having conversation talking about music's about movies,
people we like.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Told her about artists. The artist was.
Speaker 6 (01:02:41):
Going on tour. She bought tickets. Now this is not
you know, up the Street. This was at Rocket Arena
in Cleveland, so we were gonna have to like travel,
it was gonna stay like this is what the conversation
was trying to build, like a little weekend out of
it type of thing. We are no longer talking, so
I'm I'm not going to the concert and I didn't
(01:03:03):
ask her to buy the tickets. I just told her
I like the artists. She wanted to do something nice
one on her own tickets. Since we're not talking anymore,
I don't feel like I should have to.
Speaker 2 (01:03:14):
Pay for anything.
Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
Did she ask you to pay?
Speaker 6 (01:03:16):
She never asks. This was out the goodness in her heart.
She wanted to treat me on a nice.
Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Little No I'm saying, now, did she say you owe
me for that ticket?
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
She did it, But in the back of my mind,
I'm kind of like, I know why she did it,
and if I'm not going with her, maybe she I
don't know. I don't think she can get a refund
at this point. So you're bringing this up just basically
you're starting to think she's going to ask you for money,
and you're wondering from the listeners, should you have to pay?
Is that what you're saying? Yeah, I mean, it's it's
all much because she's just a little bit too though,
(01:03:43):
So she hasn't She hasn't said you're gonna I need
my money back. If you were going to go to
the show, would you have paid for your ticket? No,
I probably would have paid for the hotel room or something.
We were gonna.
Speaker 19 (01:03:57):
Stay's a lot of expenses.
Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
They were friends with benefits or something. It's gonna make
it like a nice little weekend vibe.
Speaker 7 (01:04:05):
How do you know that she might not be taking
somebody else now and so that ticket price is covered,
That ticket's covered.
Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
Maybe maybe she is. I don't know. We don't talk
like that, so it's not like a thing rore. I
can hit her up and be like, now that you
bring it up on the air, she knows is gonna
be flourishing. Why did they relationship end? Let's go to
that before we take calls on people. Why are you
trying to get on missy? Because I want to know
what what ended up happening? Did you stop it or
did she stop?
Speaker 6 (01:04:31):
I think she stopped it needed to stop before it
actually stopped. She wanted something way more than what I
was willing to provide.
Speaker 2 (01:04:38):
You're just looking for a concert friend. No, not necessarily that.
Speaker 6 (01:04:41):
I was just looking for a friend and she's at
a space right now where she's looking for a husband,
and that's not what I'm looking for, okay, which was
also clearly communicated.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
I'm not, you know, trying to play games with nobody. Yeah, uh, Karma,
that's by the way, you're naying your name, Karma. What
Kevin needs to do?
Speaker 13 (01:05:02):
Good morning, Kevin.
Speaker 14 (01:05:03):
You need to just step up, do the right thing.
Speaker 40 (01:05:06):
Offer to pay for both of the tickets you get them,
and then you could just go with your friends.
Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
What if she wants to go to the show, though.
Speaker 35 (01:05:15):
Then she stuck with both of them and he owes nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
So Kevin needs to say, I'll pay for it.
Speaker 5 (01:05:22):
If you don't want to go to the game, I'll
buy them or the concert, I'll buy them both from you.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
Yeah, that would be the right thing to do. Kevin's
not doing.
Speaker 6 (01:05:30):
Here's the thing, o, Karmel. Let me let me provide
this and tell me if it changes your mind. I
didn't ask to go to the concert. I didn't even
say I wanted to go to the concert. I might
have been like, man, it'd be cool to see so
and so, but I had no intention of buying the
tickets for myself.
Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Even so this was a kid, right, It sounds like
it was a kid.
Speaker 13 (01:05:50):
Bottom for you, I mean.
Speaker 24 (01:05:53):
A little Yeah, she's still bottom because you said you.
Speaker 12 (01:05:56):
Liked it, So don't you like it enough to go
with a friend and have maybe meet a new girl.
Speaker 6 (01:06:02):
If I did, I probably would have had the intention
of buying them for myself.
Speaker 2 (01:06:06):
She bought him. She bought him to impress Kevin, and
now they're no longer together. To Lynn, what's happening is
Mojo in the morning, and what do you think.
Speaker 14 (01:06:15):
The same thing happened to me? This is a throwback
to high school. I was dating a guy. His favorite
player was Kobe. They were playing the Pictures.
Speaker 15 (01:06:23):
I lost tickets for.
Speaker 14 (01:06:24):
Our anniversary, and by the time our anniversary came around,
we were no longer together, and so we still we
still ended up going to the game, but I insisted
that he paid me for his ticket because now he's
no longer you know, I don't care anymore. Yeah, And
ultimately I was wrong, even though I was really pushing
him to pay me for that ticket. That was just
my emotions talking immaturity, And it sounds like that's what's
(01:06:46):
that play here? He doesn't, you don't owe her. He
did it and either if she wants to take you or.
Speaker 9 (01:06:52):
She does it.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Gotcha all right? And I think high school also is
a different story altogether too, because you obviously are not.
Speaker 14 (01:07:00):
Lorntality sounds very high school. If that's the reason why
I put that. I mention that it was immaturity at play.
Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Uh, Lisa, what do you think Kevin should do?
Speaker 9 (01:07:12):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
Lisa, Hi, Kevin.
Speaker 17 (01:07:15):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 11 (01:07:15):
Kevin oates for nothing.
Speaker 23 (01:07:17):
You didn't ask, she broke up.
Speaker 17 (01:07:20):
He was honest with how he felt.
Speaker 11 (01:07:22):
He owes for nothing.
Speaker 13 (01:07:24):
Yeah, okay, the concert go.
Speaker 2 (01:07:27):
You're obviously a friend of Kevin's. What's going on, Tabitha? Hi?
Speaker 23 (01:07:33):
I think if it's on his conscience enough, he should
at least reach out and offer to pay for his half.
Speaker 2 (01:07:38):
Okay, you're obviously not a friend Kevin. Yeah, but I
do like that. You're right. If you feel guilty enough
that you're bringing it up as a radio topic, maybe
you should, you know, at least offer for your ticket.
Speaker 7 (01:07:49):
And I could almost guarantee he's going to say, don't
worry about it.
Speaker 16 (01:07:53):
Right, And I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:07:54):
Who this is or I don't know anything about her.
But yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:07:56):
Mean what you do is you offer and then when
she says yes, you say, well here, you know, let
me venmo you and then pretend like you Venmo did.
Speaker 19 (01:08:05):
To take one.
Speaker 2 (01:08:07):
I'm not going Sarah, what's up? Salad? Good morning?
Speaker 19 (01:08:12):
First time?
Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
What's up?
Speaker 46 (01:08:18):
I just I think that Kevin, since she bought the tickets,
I think Kevin shouldn't even worry about it. She'll figure
out a way, either to bring somebody else or you know.
Speaker 2 (01:08:29):
She hasn't contacted keV. She's got somebody already going with her.
I guarantee you right.
Speaker 46 (01:08:33):
I don't even think Kevin should worry about her.
Speaker 2 (01:08:35):
But if Kevin wants to look like a like a
you know, a mench, he should call her Midge. He
should call her up and say, I want to do
what's a midge? It's a you know, a great guy,
an honorable guy? Heard him or not mention? Not a mooch.
What's going on? How you doing there, Jennifer?
Speaker 24 (01:08:57):
Good morning? Oh my goodness, Kevin absolutely not even pay
for anything? Are you kidding me? Let's just say the
roles are reversed. I will like everybody to think they
would be telling girls don't pay for anything.
Speaker 47 (01:09:12):
Same thing for Kevin.
Speaker 24 (01:09:13):
He told her exactly where they stood the entire time.
It was never a question, and then when they're done,
you are right.
Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
There is a double standard though. If the guy doesn't offer,
then he looks like he's taking advantage of the girl.
Speaker 24 (01:09:29):
I'm telling you. I'm usually a girl's girl. I'll tell you,
but like, let's be serious. We can't always just just
because you're a girl, you should get everything, you know,
like everything that the guy should give you. That's ridiculous.
Speaker 15 (01:09:41):
Like, let's be serious.
Speaker 24 (01:09:41):
If you want equal, if we want to be equal,
we got to take equal when it's good and equal
when it's bad.
Speaker 2 (01:09:46):
You know, Kevin wants to know you want to go
to a concert with him? Will you buy the ticket?
Speaker 28 (01:10:00):
Maybe he didn't call his wife to shake him while
on your date, but something is right.
Speaker 1 (01:10:04):
Second date update is after read this morning on Mojo.
Speaker 2 (01:10:07):
In the Morning. All right, it is Mojo in the
Morning show. I real quick want to ask a just
a general question here, and I want to know if
you will call us up and if you want, I
will voice disguise you. All right, It's going to be
just a quick little question and my question is who
are you not looking forward to seeing at Thanksgiving this year?
(01:10:31):
Who is the person that is in your family's life
or your life that you're not looking forward to having
at the Thanksgiving table. I know we all look forward
to having family there, or at least most of us
look forward to it. Who are you not looking forward
to And if you want again, I will voice disguise
you eight four to four Mojo Live eight four four
sixty six five six five four eight. If you have
(01:10:53):
an answer to this one and you just want to
text to us, text call me and Lydia will call
you from a number that resembles obviously either iHeart or
an out of area number, and we'll get you on.
But I want to know who is that. This is
the first year that I am happy about everybody that
is coming thanks I cannot believe it. I'm actually very excited.
(01:11:14):
I'm excited. We have new people that are coming, and
we have some old standbys family, you know, my kids.
What was it in past years? In past years, we've
had some people that have come from my family that
I was like, Ah, Christ, it's all it is, you know,
going to be crazy. It's always the I always say
the brothers, there's like like my brother could be a
little much, and then Chelsea's brother could be a little much.
(01:11:37):
And in years past that has been that way. And
the worst ever is when you're getting ready for the
holiday that is supposed to be something you're thankful for
and you're not even thankful. I'm like, oh, these people
are coming into my home and they're causing me stress,
you know, and then Chelsea gets stressed. My fear is
for Chelsea is her stress. I don't want her to
be stressed, because when she's stressed, I'm stressed. You get
(01:12:00):
right in at night. But you know, if you are
going to some kind of a holiday get together or gathering,
who are you not excited to see?
Speaker 41 (01:12:10):
Carter?
Speaker 2 (01:12:10):
You're starting us off, Carter, who is it that you're
not excited to see this? Thanksgiving?
Speaker 1 (01:12:15):
My brother?
Speaker 48 (01:12:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:12:17):
What's going on?
Speaker 35 (01:12:19):
Every single time.
Speaker 49 (01:12:20):
We get together, it's always a little argument back and forth,
and then it just progresses.
Speaker 4 (01:12:25):
What is the argument over?
Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Just dumb stuff?
Speaker 7 (01:12:29):
Okay, I didn't know if it was like like when
people bring up politics or religion around the holiday tables.
Speaker 9 (01:12:35):
A lot of my dad. My dad just talks about
politics all the time.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Quick question for you, Carter with your brother, does he
fight with you? Just you or everybody?
Speaker 9 (01:12:44):
Me and my dad specifically put.
Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Him at the kids table, you know what I mean,
like put him in the in the other room. You
know the room that has like two seats at it. Yeah, Yeah,
he sits with your son. That's or he's got to
be a voice. Dis guy's initial k? Who are you
not excited to see? Yeah? Your voice? This guy's k?
Speaker 4 (01:13:09):
Yes, my sister who stows.
Speaker 2 (01:13:13):
My I'm sorry speak off of your bluetooth? Can you
pull us off bluetooth? Is that it perfect? There you go?
Who is it that you're not your sister? Your sister?
Speaker 13 (01:13:25):
You say, yes, she stoled my pardence?
Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
What does she steal? Hold on? Maybe it isn't just
her bluetooth, Maybe it be your phone? What did she
steal my I feel like it's gonna be good. She
stole yourself connection. Your sister is a thief, you're saying,
and you don't want your sister there?
Speaker 3 (01:13:47):
Yes, and.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Irry, I can't understand you. Maybe this will be a
bad thing for you to say, and she's probably listening
and she'll hear it. It will cause more problems for you.
I apologize, but you're not. You're not to get through
on the phone there, although Rick is saying his sister too.
Are you sure you're not related to Kay? And it
might be the same PERSONA Rick, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
No?
Speaker 11 (01:14:10):
Uh no, I don't want to see my sister because
of what she did to my niece.
Speaker 2 (01:14:15):
Wait that last lady was talking about the niece.
Speaker 40 (01:14:17):
Too well, but it was pretty pretty difficult. But she
she has a boyfriend and uh, let's just say her boyfriend, Uh,
what is doing things that they should.
Speaker 4 (01:14:36):
He should be he should go to jail, have him arrested.
Speaker 40 (01:14:40):
Oh oh, I tried. But my sister she is and uh,
she kind of she kind of told the story of
my she's painting my niece as like a psychotic little girl.
Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
How old is your niece?
Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
The stories she's.
Speaker 21 (01:15:07):
It?
Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
Why was yeah? Why were the police never called? Reck?
Speaker 40 (01:15:10):
Well they were, but my sister kind of like, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
And they didn't do an investigation. They did, but like.
Speaker 40 (01:15:23):
I said, she she told her doctor about it, and
then her doctor opened up a case and after multiple
time to talk to my niece, her mom like made.
Speaker 5 (01:15:38):
Her go back on her story and tell her that she.
Speaker 6 (01:15:41):
Didn't do whose house are you guys going over for Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (01:15:45):
Who's hosting? My mom? You got to tell your mom
he not alone?
Speaker 3 (01:15:49):
Yeah, yeah, I don't.
Speaker 40 (01:15:50):
I don't know if she I don't know if she'll
she'll go because you.
Speaker 21 (01:15:53):
Know I'll be there.
Speaker 2 (01:15:54):
But yeah, is is your Is that guy going.
Speaker 9 (01:15:57):
The I mean, they're always together, so she goes.
Speaker 2 (01:16:01):
If you go, I'm sorry. Yeah, that's that's not good. Boy.
You make some of my past relatives seem normal. You
know what I mean when you hear stories like that, Caitlin,
what's up? Who are you not excited to.
Speaker 48 (01:16:15):
See my little sister's boyfriend?
Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Why?
Speaker 48 (01:16:20):
He's the type of guy that it will be so
quiet and he just brings up the most random topic
and it's it's it's just the most out of the
world the topics that he would bring up, and it's
just so awkward and nobody knows what to say.
Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
Give an example, what's something he brought up? Maybe at
the last one'tion.
Speaker 9 (01:16:41):
Like.
Speaker 48 (01:16:41):
We'll be sitting there talking about something serious and he'll
be like, hey, guys, I got a dad joke. And
he'll be like, oh, guys, did you know, like a
long time ago, there was like kind of sours and
this is what happened with the fossils, and it's just
the weirdest thing, and nobody knows.
Speaker 34 (01:16:58):
What to say, but it's so weird.
Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
Do you wonder what your sister sees in him? Or
is your sister a perfect for him? Because she's just
as weird.
Speaker 17 (01:17:08):
I was nice, but none of us know what she's
sees in him.
Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
Oh man, opposite, that is amazing, Like that fossil just
sitting on the other side of the table from the
dinosaur bone. What's going on? Patrese moarning.
Speaker 16 (01:17:24):
I'm not looking forward to seeing my children.
Speaker 4 (01:17:29):
Why I'm not even cooking this year?
Speaker 23 (01:17:33):
Because why I have I have five grown children, and.
Speaker 34 (01:17:39):
I fell out with two of the daughters.
Speaker 17 (01:17:41):
And I didn't even fall out with them.
Speaker 9 (01:17:42):
They're just upset because I exposed them. Yes, they were
including in.
Speaker 37 (01:17:48):
Oh no, I'm not cooking.
Speaker 16 (01:17:49):
I'm trying to.
Speaker 37 (01:17:49):
Come to y'all Thanksgiving, trying to get.
Speaker 24 (01:17:53):
On that, trying to get on that thank gidden because
I'm not cooking and I don't know where I'm gonna eat.
Speaker 2 (01:17:58):
Lydia, can we can we invite? Can you invite her?
I want to know what.
Speaker 7 (01:18:01):
She expects all right, your comment.
Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
Now, here's the deal, your comment, and you got to
tell us tomorrow when you're here with us what happened.
Speaker 30 (01:18:10):
Okay, awesome, awesome, I will tell you all.
Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
Right, Patrise, you're in. It's our Giving. Thanks Rochester Banquets
is making a nice Thanksgiving meal and Kroger going to
set you up with your own turkey that you can
eat by yourself. Have got to drop them off. Yeah, Arianna,
who are you not excited to see this Thanksgiving?
Speaker 34 (01:18:39):
My baby's father new girlfriend.
Speaker 7 (01:18:43):
Wait, why do you have to have Thanksgiving with them?
Speaker 34 (01:18:48):
If I always do it for my daughter's sake that
she always, you know, gives me the stairs at me
with those burning eyes. He always lets it be known
that she does not like me, even though I didn't
do nothing. I didn't do nothing to her.
Speaker 2 (01:19:04):
But Arianna, you're already being the better person by having
her come over. But you know, just bite, bite your
lip and don't say anything. Okay, Okay, put a little ex.
Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
Flax in her, have her come hang out with Anna.
And then.
Speaker 2 (01:19:23):
One last one, one last one, Chase, who are you
least excited to see this Thanksgiving?
Speaker 30 (01:19:30):
How are you guys doing this more than the first
time long day. Yeah, so I don't want to see
my mom's one of her good friends.
Speaker 9 (01:19:39):
Because last Thanksgiving, my mom trying to play a.
Speaker 30 (01:19:43):
Joke and the the lady's really pretty and I'm only
thirty five, she's like fifty eight, and my mom seen
that she kind of was attracted to me.
Speaker 9 (01:19:50):
So as a joking linkin makes me walk her to
the car.
Speaker 22 (01:19:53):
Next thing you know, I'm at the lady's house and
we had a whole night.
Speaker 9 (01:19:56):
Oh, she will not.
Speaker 6 (01:19:58):
Leave me alone, queen, hold on, hold on his hand.
Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
Your mom's best friend you hooked up with the last Thanksgiving.
Speaker 9 (01:20:08):
Yes, and she will not leave me alone.
Speaker 30 (01:20:11):
So anytime we're in the house together, whether it's a
holiday or anything, she'll try to catch me in the
bathroom by myself.
Speaker 9 (01:20:17):
I'm scared to go anywhere by myself.
Speaker 19 (01:20:19):
You don't want to run it back this year?
Speaker 15 (01:20:22):
No, I can't even deal with the last year house's been.
Speaker 2 (01:20:26):
Can I ask you a question. When you were baking
cookies with your mom's best friend the entire time, were
you thinking, oh God, if my mom finds out about this, unscrewed.
Speaker 9 (01:20:35):
The crazy part is she has a picture of my
mom and her at.
Speaker 2 (01:20:38):
A at a casino white back in her bit, you saw.
Speaker 9 (01:20:44):
I was scarred.
Speaker 2 (01:20:45):
I wascarred man stuff that turkey. Oh my god, Wow,
that's awesome with Chase. Call us up after Thanksgiving and
tell us what happens. Okay, okay, all you want Detroit.
Speaker 1 (01:21:05):
And I'm hard radio station guaranteed human.
Speaker 2 (01:21:11):
Mojo.
Speaker 43 (01:21:21):
You don't think one God, let me take you back
to the beginnings.
Speaker 4 (01:21:25):
Alrighty ready, you're listening.
Speaker 1 (01:21:27):
To Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
You're a dodo ahead, Let's go all right? Is Mojo
in the Morning Show? Second date updates coming up here
in just a little bit. Why are you not getting
a call back after you went on a date? We
had that for you also on the way in just
a little bit. Uh, can you tell when your friends
who you're out with are not having a good time
(01:21:54):
because maybe they got into an argument with their significant
other just before they were out with you. I want
to talk to Anna about that because I went out
with her this weekend after Chelse and I had a
little bit of an argument.
Speaker 9 (01:22:07):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:22:08):
Bionca is going to start us off though this morning
hair on the Mojo in the Morning Show, because Bianca
from our show is meeting the parents I know.
Speaker 35 (01:22:17):
This is like the scariest moment of my life. I'm
very nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
We're going to do it. An update tomorrow after she
goes out with the parents because she's meeting her boyfriend
his mom and dad.
Speaker 35 (01:22:31):
Well, actually I can't call him boyfriend. I have to
call him man friend.
Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Wait, wait, what do you mean man friend?
Speaker 35 (01:22:37):
So I talked to the mom yesterday to kind of
get a little little nerve relaxation and.
Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
Wait, hold on, explain this. Wait, what did you do?
Speaker 35 (01:22:45):
I talked to his mom yesterday about tonight because I'm
meeting them tonight. So yesterday she kind of gave me
a rundown of what's going to be going on.
Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
Did you do that on your own? Or did your
boyfriend say man friend?
Speaker 35 (01:22:56):
Man friend? He called his mom and was like, hey,
do you want to.
Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
Talk to Bianca before you guys get together?
Speaker 35 (01:23:01):
Yes, just to kind of ease a so that you at.
Speaker 2 (01:23:04):
Least is not going in cold.
Speaker 3 (01:23:06):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (01:23:06):
And wait, she said something about calling him a man friend.
I've never heard of man friend before.
Speaker 35 (01:23:10):
Yeah, she gave me a little rundown of rules. I
cannot call him boyfriend, so we are a lady friend
man friend. But if we meet anyone out there. So
we're going to the Rochester Lights. There's going to be
some media people there were we're either just friends or
I'm out there getting social media from Mojo on the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:23:27):
Oh my god, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:23:28):
She does not like you that I want to talk
to her. No, No, I don't get it.
Speaker 35 (01:23:31):
No, No, I think she likes me. But I think
we're not official enough yet to the point where I
should be telling everyone and all of the family and
everyone that they know that we're like dating.
Speaker 19 (01:23:40):
Why does she think that she gets to decide that.
Speaker 2 (01:23:43):
Well, I think the relationship with you moms, I still
do not mess around.
Speaker 35 (01:23:49):
But I have to pass a test first. So tonight
I'm gonna have a test. She's gonna ask me a
whole bunch of questions. Apparently I'm going to get really interrogated,
harder than the real estate exam.
Speaker 4 (01:23:58):
And I hope I've as this test.
Speaker 35 (01:24:01):
I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 19 (01:24:02):
Are you sure you want to be in this family?
Speaker 32 (01:24:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 35 (01:24:04):
I love them all right?
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
What is this test about? You know anything on this test?
Speaker 35 (01:24:10):
I know, But I just know that my man said
I should be scared. That's all I know.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
He did.
Speaker 35 (01:24:15):
Uh huh. He told me I should be scared. I
should be a little worried.
Speaker 7 (01:24:18):
Has she done this to a previous no friend of his?
Speaker 35 (01:24:23):
The first girl he's ever brought home to his family.
So I think I think the parents are overprotected. They
want to make sure their sons in good hands. And honestly,
if this was my dad, my dad would probably do
the same thing.
Speaker 7 (01:24:35):
Are my anxiety would be through the roof right now.
Speaker 35 (01:24:39):
I'm a little dirvous, but I feel like I've never
met a family or anyone else that did not like me.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
I'm very Are you bringing a family will your daddy? No,
it's just you're going in unprotected. Yes, because you know what,
I actually think that this is actually this is good
because I do agree with what you said, your assessment
of There are not many people I don't think I
know any that do not like Bianca. Bianca is not
(01:25:09):
like not like Bianca. Beyonca is very She's very engaging,
She's got a great personality. I would probably pull back
a little bit because I think sometimes sometimes I think
your nervous energy sometimes might be a little too much,
and I.
Speaker 4 (01:25:24):
Talk too much, and you don't drink tonight.
Speaker 35 (01:25:26):
I know I'm not okay. I don't think I should
never drink in front of their family.
Speaker 4 (01:25:29):
Ever, he can't drink, so that would be bad.
Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
Can we ask the listeners advice and things that maybe
you did or didn't do right that could actually tell
Bianca what she should do when she goes and meets
the family for the first time tonight? What do you
what do you call her like? When you meet her?
Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:25:48):
What do you how do you acknowledge her?
Speaker 35 (01:25:50):
She said, I call her by her first name. The
dad I call him by his last name.
Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
I would call both of them mister and miss.
Speaker 35 (01:25:57):
I was calling the mom by the last name. She said,
you could just call me by.
Speaker 2 (01:25:59):
The first Can I tell you something I think out
of respect, I would continue to do Yeah, because I
think it shows respect to them. And I think that honestly,
I think that it's It's one of those things where
you're you don't want it to be. She can she's
that could be a test that she's given you, and
the test the test could be let's let's see how
comfortable she really feels and the no, and then what
(01:26:22):
I let me tell you. I know Kel Dean's okay,
and I know Kel Dean moms and anybody that is
listening right now. That's kel Dean, one of my Caldan friends.
You tell me that that you agree or disagree on
this one. You don't want to do the whole I'm
gonna call her, you know, say her name is Marcella
or whatever. You know what I mean, Hey, Marcella, what's
going on? Marcella? And Mar's going and people are going
to be around her going. Boy, that young girl feels
(01:26:44):
like she's you know, yeah, you're right. I think you
call her mister. You call them mister and missus. And
I think, honestly, I think that you just lay low
and you let things kind of develop, and and I think,
first off, I know them. I know, yeah, I know
your boyfriend's dare not.
Speaker 35 (01:27:02):
Mess it up because that's going to be a bad thing.
Speaker 2 (01:27:04):
But also the other thing too, is his wife is wonderful. Okay,
so Bryce's mom is his mom is a wonderful lady.
She's a beautiful lady. Yes, I do think she's a
little intimidating for me even Okay, so I think you
gotta like play cool.
Speaker 35 (01:27:22):
Yeah, I was like going to the mall looking for outfits.
I'm like stressing out. I just want to make sure.
Speaker 4 (01:27:27):
What are you going to bring? I feel like you
have to bring something.
Speaker 35 (01:27:29):
I already got that planned out. I'm probably gonna get
like a bokay of flowers, do nothing bunk cakes. She's
gluten free, so gluten free nothing bunk cakes.
Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 35 (01:27:37):
I know they like the Sanders chocolate, so I was
gonna get them a little bag of that, And then
I was I was gonna get her a bottle of wine.
But then I don't want her to think.
Speaker 50 (01:27:46):
I'm like, that's crazy that you're gonna be outside, right, Yeah,
but I want to dinner first.
Speaker 35 (01:27:53):
Interrogations happening.
Speaker 6 (01:27:54):
I wouldn't get anything big that I got to carry
around her whole either, though.
Speaker 35 (01:27:59):
I'm was thinking maybe I could drop it off at
his house before we go, or just bring like the
desserts to dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
Are you going to meet them at the house? And
then all you guys are.
Speaker 9 (01:28:05):
Gonnadrive going on?
Speaker 35 (01:28:07):
She told me that he's talked to the husband and
see if the husband will allow me to go to
their house first.
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
Oh man, this whole thing. I do have to tell
you that this is so funny because it brings back
memories of going to see my wife, Chelsea's dad and
mom for the first time. And Chelsea gave me all
these fore warnings of what to do and what not
to do. Has your boyfriend man friend given you four warnings?
Speaker 35 (01:28:29):
He just told me to act normal. I asked them,
he said, don't talk too much. He said, I'm a
little loud.
Speaker 2 (01:28:39):
So Chelsea told me don't talk too much to her dad.
Really just don't talk too much. So I literally sat
there and her dad thought I was like a deafen
year Yeah, and he and the Wildes is. I wasn't
prepared for some of the questioning because he gave me
all these questionings, you know, like the mom was great,
Like there's always I believe one parent that's easier to
(01:29:00):
talk to you than the other parent, and now it's
actually the reversal of that.
Speaker 35 (01:29:03):
Well, he told me I have to prepare how to
tell them how much I'm gonna love their son and
how much I'm going to take care of their son.
And he said they might even bring up like past
boyfriends of mine.
Speaker 2 (01:29:13):
And this is literally met the parents about to meet
Robert Demiro.
Speaker 35 (01:29:20):
I asked the mom yesterday, I said, could I end
you on Facebook? I think it'd be super cool to
have to be on Facebook. She said, you're not allowed
to add me until I know I like you.
Speaker 2 (01:29:26):
After tonight, I would not add I take it the vibe.
Speaker 35 (01:29:31):
I don't know her like that. I just met her
on the phone.
Speaker 4 (01:29:33):
I know I wouldn't.
Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
I would not add them, do any social media with them.
You stay away from that until you know it's a relationship.
Speaker 9 (01:29:43):
Sara.
Speaker 48 (01:29:44):
Right now, Hi, how is everybody doing.
Speaker 2 (01:29:47):
We're doing good. Bianca is going to be meeting the parents.
Speaker 18 (01:29:52):
Yes, So my advice, Biana, remember when you did the
family vacation with your.
Speaker 14 (01:29:57):
Friends, kind of upset because you're.
Speaker 46 (01:30:01):
Shaking your booty a little too much. My advice is
keep it contained.
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
You behave yourself.
Speaker 7 (01:30:14):
So that's ever coming out, and make sure you wear
something that doesn't, you know, show your booze.
Speaker 35 (01:30:20):
Oh yeah, no, no I have I'm wearing a turtleneck dress, coat, jeans,
but okay, it's yesterday.
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
Yes, that's good. None. I think it's funny though, that
they told you don't introduce yourself as their sons.
Speaker 35 (01:30:33):
Yeah, he said, she said, I'm just I don't want
to be mean, but no one knows, and no one
should know. That you guys are talking or dating yet,
so you guys are friends. I said, Okay, I'm media trained.
I'm not going to tell everyone you doing social media
on the morning.
Speaker 2 (01:30:48):
Mike Morning, how you guys doing good? What's going on?
Speaker 9 (01:30:53):
Hey?
Speaker 37 (01:30:53):
All I gotta say is if you're getting told all
this stuff and if you can't be yourself, he's not
meant to be.
Speaker 9 (01:31:02):
Just go be yourself, have fun, don't change for nobody.
Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
And that honestly is the same. But you don't know, Bianca, No,
I'm a little wild.
Speaker 35 (01:31:10):
Like even my parents don't like me at times.
Speaker 1 (01:31:14):
That's fine, but.
Speaker 9 (01:31:16):
Yourself because eventually you will be yourself.
Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
Well, it's truth in there.
Speaker 35 (01:31:21):
Though for the first time meeting them, I should be
a little too, you know what I'm saying, because if
if he had my personality you've met my parents with
the first time, they would not like him.
Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
How are you really nervous? You seem nervous.
Speaker 35 (01:31:33):
I'm so scared, so scared. I never ever had a
boyfriend where I met the parents at a restaurant ever,
never had anything like that.
Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Yeah, I think you're gonna do great, I really do.
Speaker 7 (01:31:43):
And I feel like you've talked to the mom You've
talked to both of the parents on the phone several
times already, right.
Speaker 35 (01:31:48):
To the Pistons game, so you've kind.
Speaker 7 (01:31:51):
Of already been introduced to them all little like they
know your personality.
Speaker 35 (01:31:55):
To the mom though, Okay, yeah, I think it's being
in a restaurant setting. The was kind of formal. That's nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
Seven three four says, take a page from Kevin and
bring her grapes, candy grapes. At least you got witnesses
around so she can't kill you.
Speaker 35 (01:32:14):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:32:15):
The other thing, too, is it's funny. I met Chelsea
for the first time, and I was we were eating
and her mom made lasagna, which you knew especial because
if mom made lazannia, that men she liked you or
was preparing to like you. And all I remember the
whole time was I was so afraid to eat too
much money, you know how I am. And so I'm
like eating like that ever, and Chelsea looks over he goes,
you can eat like you normally eat. I'm like, so
(01:32:38):
I will say it is though.
Speaker 6 (01:32:39):
The only bad experience I had was one time, and
the only reason it really mattered is because some children
listen to their parents more than they listen to themselves,
and they'll allow their parents to make every decision they like,
especially their relationships. And I remember this girl came over
to my house and her mom had to come pick
her up or something something that happened, And this was
my first time meeting her mom. Is enter, it's cold
(01:33:01):
as hall outside. I got my jacket on, got my
hat on, and when I went up to the car,
I introduced myself. I'm like, hey, you know so on,
so nice to meet you.
Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Don't care?
Speaker 6 (01:33:08):
She told me the next day my mom hated her
mom hated me because I didn't take my hat off. Oh,
and like taking my head off is like I understand
that if I'm inside outside is cold.
Speaker 2 (01:33:18):
I'm like, bro, you want me to take it off?
It's smelling all.
Speaker 35 (01:33:19):
Side wear hat.
Speaker 50 (01:33:22):
You should do something to your heir story, what's going to,
what's going on? It's gonna be fine, Courtney, Hi, Hi.
Speaker 2 (01:33:32):
Good morning morning.
Speaker 39 (01:33:34):
I think Bianca will kill it with his parents. But
I also think, like, first off, are you at all
concerned that like the mother, like if it's progresses that
like your mother in law would potential mother in law
would be crazy like forever No.
Speaker 35 (01:33:51):
She seems very nice, like she raised great kids, so
I'm not worried about her. She seems cool, like I
think her and my mom would be great.
Speaker 2 (01:33:55):
Friends, you know, just interesting. I think that that in
her culture to the moms play such a huge role.
They're they're pivotal on this one.
Speaker 24 (01:34:05):
So I think you're gonna kill it.
Speaker 39 (01:34:07):
But just don't. I know, you're like crazy and like
have so much fun, but don't change yourself too much
because that's what makes you so great. And yeah, yeah,
but you're so fun and loving and.
Speaker 24 (01:34:20):
Ing and just like you're so you're so great.
Speaker 2 (01:34:22):
How could her mom or his mom not listen to
the show and listen to listeners like Courtney talking about
how awesome you are and have that as a because.
Speaker 35 (01:34:31):
Then they hear how great I am and they're like, oh,
I don't know that.
Speaker 2 (01:34:35):
What's up, Jeff?
Speaker 35 (01:34:38):
Now?
Speaker 13 (01:34:38):
You guys doing good?
Speaker 2 (01:34:39):
What's going on?
Speaker 11 (01:34:41):
Well not? But to uh to the situation on hand,
I would uh say, don't be someone you're not.
Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
You don't be who you.
Speaker 11 (01:34:51):
Are because that's who you're They're gonna see you act
as somebody else in the beginning. That's what they're gonna
see you're not like you.
Speaker 9 (01:34:59):
Know, so.
Speaker 35 (01:35:01):
I would just yeah, no, I'll be myself. But I'm
obviously not as crazy as that used to be.
Speaker 50 (01:35:06):
Okay, So it's la guys.
Speaker 2 (01:35:10):
I think we all though we all you know, do
a piece of this in parts of our life, interviewing
for Josh, even first dates. On first dates, we aren't
usually who we are, and then meeting the parents is
very similar to that one too. I think we try
to like shine ourselves up a little bit and then
we get comfortable. And then once we get comfort, you
(01:35:30):
don't want to be too comfortable. Because I hate to
say this, and everybody's like, you be yourself, be comfortable.
You become too comfortable, and they're gonna say this girl
honestly has no sense of a fear, and I think
you have to have a little sense of respective fear.
Speaker 35 (01:35:44):
Yeah, no, I think it's gonna be okay. I've been
I've been like situations meeting people for the first time,
nervous things like that, but I've never been it for
a relationship standard, which is gonna be a little weird.
But I just pray everything goes goody else.
Speaker 7 (01:35:58):
I think you need to really notice how your man
friend is around you, with his parents.
Speaker 35 (01:36:04):
Around us, that's interesting.
Speaker 4 (01:36:06):
That's going to be super telling.
Speaker 2 (01:36:07):
Yeah, what's some ray of flags that she should potentially
look out for?
Speaker 51 (01:36:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (01:36:12):
I just think that you want to make sure that
he I think is himself and like you, you want
to be with somebody that's going to put his foot
down for you. And I feel like you can tell
that right from the get go.
Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
Can I ask you this without having revealed too much?
But I'm sure I think I know the answer. That's
why I'm asking you this. What does he say about
his parents?
Speaker 19 (01:36:33):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:36:34):
What? What? What level of uh? You know, like when
you have a conversation, you say, hey, tell me about
your mom, tell me about your dad. What does he
say about each of them?
Speaker 35 (01:36:43):
He says he really loves them, like he never says
anything bad about them. His dad's like his inspiration. He
wants to be like his dad.
Speaker 4 (01:36:48):
I love that. That's huge.
Speaker 35 (01:36:50):
He's really big and his family's always take care of
his grandparents and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
So and how does he speak of his mom?
Speaker 35 (01:36:55):
Very well, very highly of both, same way with my parents.
Speaker 2 (01:36:58):
Like he's good.
Speaker 4 (01:37:00):
That's also very telling you.
Speaker 35 (01:37:01):
I feel like I see a lot of my parents
and his parents, so I think it's I think it's okay.
Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
So the thing with Bianca that sold me on her
years ago, like when I first got a chance to
meet her, was when I first started getting a chance
to meet her, I saw her hard work. That was
one of the first things I saw. It was she
would do things that you would have to ask other
people to do, and they would even not want to do,
you know, some of the work that she would do.
And then when I heard stories of her with her family,
to know that her dad owns a store, and so
(01:37:28):
that her dad could be home resting because she thought
he was working too much, she would go in and
surprise him and say, I'm going to take I'm going
to work this weekend for you and let like to
me like I saw that, Like that's the stuff that
you got to let them know about you. Because to me,
as a dad of kids, like if my son brought
home Bianca, I would go, you did well, kid, you know,
(01:37:50):
I'm proud of you.
Speaker 35 (01:37:51):
I think a lot of people see the crazy side
of me, like on the show and on the air,
on social media and stuff, and obviously because I'm trying
to entertain, but I have a good home, and I
am a good kid, and I have good morals and standards.
So hopefully they see that part too.
Speaker 2 (01:38:04):
Yeah, don't polish yourself up to be you know, not
too crazy, but be yourself and let her know the
true great side of you. Okay, you're gonna.
Speaker 50 (01:38:13):
Do all right, Maha, be beat Okay, have no idea.
Speaker 2 (01:38:18):
What you don't want to know? Cawdeans and you don't
know that, Okay, No, but I do know who has
the best Dolma. You know who it is, Lydia Mama
her man friend's mom.
Speaker 28 (01:38:32):

Speaker 9 (01:39:28):
How you doing, I'm all right, how are you? Good morning,
Good to talk to you.
Speaker 2 (01:39:33):
Good morning, Good to talk to you too. So when
was this date? How long ago was it?
Speaker 9 (01:39:39):
It was like a few weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
Okay, So it's been a while since you guys have
talked or have you guys just been texting back and
forth or making a little conversation.
Speaker 51 (01:39:47):
No, it's been a while since we talked, even though
the date went well, so that's why it hence this call.
Speaker 2 (01:39:53):
Okay, So to you, what did you guys do on
your date?
Speaker 9 (01:39:58):
All right, Well, I'm.
Speaker 22 (01:39:59):
Kind of unconvinced.
Speaker 9 (01:40:00):
We met on grinder and so he just came.
Speaker 2 (01:40:03):
Over and we hung out at my plate Okay, that's
actually not that bad. That sounds like it would be good.
And yeah, everything went you thought great, But now he's
not communicating back with you. We're going to find out
what's going on. His name is Ryan, Mikey. Say hi
to Ryan.
Speaker 9 (01:40:20):
Oh, Ryan, Hey, what's up? How are you?
Speaker 22 (01:40:24):
How are you doing?
Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
I'm good Ryan, what's happening? How are you? This is
Mojo and we got Shannon and Kevin and and everybody. Hey,
good morning. What's going on? Ryan? Why are you not
calling Mikey back?
Speaker 22 (01:40:40):
I mean, I don't know.
Speaker 9 (01:40:42):
It was kind of an awkward date.
Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
What was awkward?
Speaker 29 (01:40:47):
Well, I mean I went to his house and his
roommate was there, and I mean after we hook up,
I find out that his roommate is his ex boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (01:40:58):
Oh there we go. So, Mikey, you live with your
ex boyfriend?
Speaker 9 (01:41:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 22 (01:41:05):
My ex?
Speaker 6 (01:41:05):
I mean yeah, how how long ago did y'all break
it off?
Speaker 9 (01:41:13):
My god, we've been exes for six months? Eight months?
Speaker 4 (01:41:17):
Oh that's not long ago.
Speaker 8 (01:41:19):
Are you just waiting until like a lease is up?
Or why are you still living together?
Speaker 51 (01:41:24):
I mean yeah, I mean I don't think either of
us are in a place where like, oh we're gonna
go like live on our own and rent well quadruple. Like,
so we're just I mean, we will definitely reevaluate, but
we're like we also had a cordial breakup.
Speaker 9 (01:41:37):
We're friends.
Speaker 4 (01:41:38):
Like, it's no more hooking up between you two.
Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
How is yeah? How well? How is it with you guys?
How is it with the two of you? Guys?
Speaker 3 (01:41:46):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:41:47):
Bringing dates over?
Speaker 9 (01:41:48):
Like?
Speaker 2 (01:41:48):
Is that normal? Does he bring dates over? You bring
dates over?
Speaker 51 (01:41:52):
I mean it's not super common, but we're respectful of it,
and like the other one, you know, usually they're not.
He happened to be home then when Ryan came over.
Usually there you know, we try not to.
Speaker 7 (01:42:06):
Be Okay, I'm surprised you would have somebody over, I know,
but like not that I wouldn't call somebody back for
that reason if it was a good date. But it
does make for a kind of an awkward and uncomfortable
situation the person for the person you're bringing into it.
Speaker 2 (01:42:25):
Yeah, yeah, Ryan, Was there anything any communication between you
and Mikey's ax or where you guys kind of keeping
to yourselves.
Speaker 22 (01:42:37):
We kind of keep it to ourselves.
Speaker 29 (01:42:38):
But I got the impression that he and the two
of them are still hooking up.
Speaker 9 (01:42:43):
It was so weird about it.
Speaker 2 (01:42:44):
How'd you get that in pression?
Speaker 9 (01:42:47):
Oh? I don't know.
Speaker 29 (01:42:49):
His roommate made some little comments, you know, you could
just tell.
Speaker 22 (01:42:53):
Something was there was It was nothing specific.
Speaker 9 (01:42:56):
But he was like, uh, how long are you going
to be here? He said something that got to me
at one point, are you staying to night?
Speaker 22 (01:43:03):
Kind of questioning me a little bit about.
Speaker 2 (01:43:05):
It, mikey, are you guys still occasionally or when's the
last time you guys have had X sex?
Speaker 9 (01:43:12):
It's very rare. It's once in a while, but it's
still happening. Weakness, weakness, that's yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:43:26):
I appreciate the honesty, but I that would probably be enough.
Speaker 6 (01:43:31):
I mean so in my mind right now, is like,
clearly it's an issue. But the same time, a lot
of other people do this. They just don't live with
their eggs, Like you can still have sex with your eggs,
they just live in a different ZIP.
Speaker 7 (01:43:42):
Call is this just makes it so easy accessible.
Speaker 8 (01:43:46):
It depends on how you frame this, Like what did
you say you were looking for? Are you trying to
get in a relationship or are you just trying to
have friends with benefits?
Speaker 2 (01:43:54):
What are you looking for? Ryan?
Speaker 29 (01:43:57):
I mean, I'm looking for somebody that's months to be
in like a monogamous relationship with me, not also sleeping
with their roommate all the time or whatever it's going.
Speaker 51 (01:44:08):
I mean, Ryan, we had one date, like you know
what I mean, like once we were if we were
ever exclusive, of course I wouldn't hook up with my ex,
but like on date one, like we're both singles that
like we're going on one d you know what I mean,
Like I don't care what you did it before, you know,
it's we met each other.
Speaker 9 (01:44:22):
One clime, Like you have to give me a time.
Speaker 29 (01:44:25):
It's awkward, could you, Mikey? Could I don't want to
go over your place with your roommates there looking at
me and making will comments.
Speaker 2 (01:44:33):
By the way, when you say roommate, I wouldn't even
just call it roommate. I'd say with your ex there,
because it's more than just a roommate. Mikey, Are you
willing if you got into a relationship with somebody and
maybe even Ryan, are you willing to call off anything
that you would have with your your ex?
Speaker 9 (01:44:53):
I am? I am?
Speaker 51 (01:44:54):
I mean, first of all, one like when the leases up,
we'll reconsider even living together.
Speaker 9 (01:44:58):
First of all, like and then I.
Speaker 51 (01:45:00):
Would definitely even feris I would consider you know, I
get the whole.
Speaker 2 (01:45:04):
It's a first day thing.
Speaker 6 (01:45:06):
But sometimes you see red flags that are immediate and
you say, why do I even want to pursue this?
Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
Like why would I even need to go any further?
Speaker 6 (01:45:13):
There's a thousand fish out there, you living with your
ex boyfriend, y'all still smash and like, I didn't have
that good enough of time where I want to pursue.
Speaker 7 (01:45:20):
This, And maybe you guys are very compatible. The timing
is just really bad.
Speaker 2 (01:45:23):
Evelyn, what's up? You wanted to comment on this? Would
you want to say?
Speaker 34 (01:45:27):
Yes?
Speaker 14 (01:45:27):
First of all, six months they should not even be
still having six I think they're trying to find a
third today.
Speaker 39 (01:45:32):
Little trying for they yet going on there.
Speaker 17 (01:45:36):
And yeah instead of X six they trying to have
third sex with each other and somebody else. Good morning, guys.
Speaker 2 (01:45:45):
I ever even thought about that. I never thought about Ryan.
Does that make you feel a little weird to hearing
Evelyn say that she thinks that there's like a level
of maybe they want to bring you in.
Speaker 9 (01:46:00):
Odd? I hope not. I just like you said, what
what did he say?
Speaker 22 (01:46:04):
He was he'd reconsider living within You.
Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
Know what when he said that, that.
Speaker 13 (01:46:10):
That out of my head.
Speaker 2 (01:46:12):
Yeah, you know, it's wild. I'm trying to think of
this in a relationship sec that's not a I'm trying
to I'm trying to think of this in like a
heterosexual relationship. If there was a guy and a girl
and you were living with your acts, Like as a guy,
if I went to the girl's house, would I feel
weird seeing in that? Absolutely?
Speaker 7 (01:46:32):
So, I think this actor this is not uncommon in
divorce situations where you know, a husband and wife get
divorced and they can't afford to have separate living spaces
at the moment. So I'm sure that this is this
has happened many times before.
Speaker 2 (01:46:47):
Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six six
five six five four eight. Text is nine five five
zero zero and you can text call me if you
got a comment that you want to say to this one.
But my question, I guess I would ask the listeners
as they're listening to this, would you have the same
feelings that Ryan has of this is not comfortable? And
are there any people that would say, Hey, it's tough
(01:47:10):
out there and it's tough to get out of release,
that this is just something that is going to come
for just a short period of time. Uh, Mikey, I
want to ask you one quick question about meeting Ryan
and how much you really enjoyed being with him, being
with him on this date. Could you see this relationship
(01:47:30):
being better than the relationship with your ex who you
live with?
Speaker 9 (01:47:36):
That is that for me?
Speaker 49 (01:47:37):
Yeah, Mikey, Yeah, okay, sorry, okay, yes, yes, yeah, this
is why I called.
Speaker 9 (01:47:45):
A great first date?
Speaker 2 (01:47:47):
Was better looking? Who's better looking?
Speaker 17 (01:47:49):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (01:47:52):
I am on the radio, so I'm going to say
I can't.
Speaker 2 (01:47:56):
I'm going to say, come on your AX. Could be
listening Draw and Mikey.
Speaker 13 (01:48:01):
Mikey.
Speaker 2 (01:48:01):
No, no, no, no, no, no no. Ryan doesn't want to
be Draw, He doesn't want He wants to.
Speaker 22 (01:48:06):
Know is hot?
Speaker 31 (01:48:09):
Right?
Speaker 37 (01:48:09):
I say?
Speaker 40 (01:48:09):
Ryan?
Speaker 9 (01:48:09):
Ryan? Ryan?
Speaker 2 (01:48:10):
So Ryan is hotter than now? You got to live
with the guy that you just said is not as hot? Uh?
Speaker 51 (01:48:17):
I know, well I need to stop living with him.
Speaker 2 (01:48:19):
Clearly, what's your living situation? Ryan? Do you have an
opportunity for like, if you could get in a relationship
with Mikey, Like, why would you not? First off, Mikey,
you should have gone back to Ryan's place and not
gone to place on that one. That was a huge
That was a huge mistake, Brad, What did you want
to say? It's Mojoe in the morning.
Speaker 47 (01:48:37):
Hi, Hey, Hi guys, doing good morning.
Speaker 2 (01:48:40):
What's happening?
Speaker 47 (01:48:42):
I just said with the with the thing that Shannon
said as well about you know, this situation happening when
you're with your ex or not necessarily with your ex,
but living together, then they should go to the other
person's house.
Speaker 9 (01:48:54):
They shouldn't bring him.
Speaker 2 (01:48:55):
Best said, yeah, you were you called in? You called
in at a time when I was just saying the
exact same thing, like, what a stupid big dummies to
do that? What's going on? Beyoncay?
Speaker 23 (01:49:05):
Hi, I'm calling because I also was in that same situation.
I'm where I was dating while living with my ex.
The lease was up in December and I didn't move however,
but we weren't we weren't having anything going on though.
Speaker 2 (01:49:22):
Like, no, would you have to explain that to people?
And what was the reaction of people that you go
on dates with?
Speaker 23 (01:49:30):
Honestly, I don't know. I feel like some people may
think that it's a lie, though I don't know. Some
people get or maybe get a you know, a kick
out of say I'm with somebody else's you know, person
or something.
Speaker 2 (01:49:44):
But I know, but when you went on dates living
here with your axe, did you tell did you tell
the dates hey I still live with my axe? Or
did you just keep it quiet?
Speaker 20 (01:49:53):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (01:49:53):
No, I told him?
Speaker 2 (01:49:54):
And how did they react?
Speaker 23 (01:49:58):
So they just really wanted to know if it was
seriously over or like what were we doing?
Speaker 16 (01:50:02):
I'm like, no, it's like it's over.
Speaker 23 (01:50:04):
We sleep in the ger room and everything, so, you know,
but I can if you're in the least, you can't
get a place somewhere else, especially if you're not making
a lot of money at the time, like you have
to already make a lot to live.
Speaker 2 (01:50:21):
You know, you respect for saying something, because I think
a lot of people would have done what Mikey did
and kept it quiet, and that said a thing. Toya,
what's up?
Speaker 13 (01:50:28):
Toyo?
Speaker 17 (01:50:29):
Hey, y'alls ben a minute was going on.
Speaker 2 (01:50:32):
What's going on?
Speaker 13 (01:50:32):
Toyo, Hey, what's up?
Speaker 1 (01:50:34):
Hey?
Speaker 52 (01:50:35):
I was gonna say that my coworker did this. He
was living with his ex and they had a house
together and a camper and they had to wait till
they went through like a refinance to get out of
the house. So to Shannon's point, like, it does happen,
for sure, but I feel like I wouldn't be that
comfortable if I was in that situation because I'll be
(01:50:56):
coming over looking real side, I like, who is this
up in here? I'm coming over?
Speaker 2 (01:51:00):
Did you did your coworker ever make his acts going
to camper when you would have.
Speaker 4 (01:51:08):
At that point?
Speaker 17 (01:51:10):
Okay, listen because I asked, Well, I didn't ask, but
I thought about the same thing.
Speaker 22 (01:51:13):
I want to know.
Speaker 17 (01:51:16):
Hey, Mojo, can I say one thing real quick?
Speaker 2 (01:51:18):
Please?
Speaker 17 (01:51:19):
Hey keVs, I've I've been watching on YouTube the last
few weeks, so you've been looking kind of good, my baby.
So whatever you're doing, keep it up, keep it up.
Speaker 3 (01:51:27):
I love you.
Speaker 2 (01:51:28):
I got a question for you two though. Did you
did you and this coworker ever go out at all?
Speaker 22 (01:51:34):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (01:51:34):
No, he's gay?
Speaker 2 (01:51:40):
Shane? What's up? Shane? Good last calling this one, So
make it kind of quick. What's going on?
Speaker 11 (01:51:47):
You're just playing simple?
Speaker 2 (01:51:49):
Not ready to be dating?
Speaker 40 (01:51:51):
Like, get your life together and be somebody for somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:51:56):
Okay, maybe maybe not bring him back to your house especially,
but yeah, that's together. Yeah? Interesting? Thanks Shane. The eggs walking.
He keeps it with draws on like this, Mom, this.
Speaker 1 (01:52:09):

(01:52:40):
people at our jingle ball this year.
Speaker 3 (01:52:43):
Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (01:52:45):
All right, Shannon with what's trending this hour in the.
Speaker 7 (01:52:47):
Dirty So, I want to start off with a really
big story that is local to our Detroit listening audience,
but still interesting even if you don't live in the area.
Clinton Township police are investigating this morning a shooting that
happened at Partridge Creek, which is a beautiful outdoor mall,
and the shooting happened during the annual Christmas tree lighting.
Speaker 12 (01:53:09):
People were just here trying to enjoy the tree lighting
and have fun, and that evening turned to be.
Speaker 4 (01:53:15):
Very chaotic after this shooting.
Speaker 47 (01:53:16):
Now.
Speaker 12 (01:53:17):
Clinton Township Police say the shooting appears to be an
isolated event between a teenage victim and the suspect, and
again not targeted at the tree lighting. The victim is
a reportedly instable condition.
Speaker 19 (01:53:28):
As we said.
Speaker 12 (01:53:29):
Before, police are still searching for the suspect.
Speaker 19 (01:53:32):
He was lasting fleeing the mall to the west.
Speaker 12 (01:53:35):
Police say he was last seen wearing a green hooded
sweatshirt with white flowers.
Speaker 53 (01:53:40):
Jeans, and tennis shoes.
Speaker 12 (01:53:42):
Again, if you live in the area, police are urging
that you lock your doors and windows. Now did speak
to a woman who was at the inside the mall
working during the shooting.
Speaker 19 (01:53:51):
I was like scared.
Speaker 8 (01:53:52):
I was scared because I like my manager was telling
everyone to move to the back and then there was
like the cops and stuff and they were running with
their guns.
Speaker 9 (01:53:59):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (01:54:00):
They're still searching, by the way, for this suspect. By
the way, that audio courtesy of w x y Z
channel seven here into they have an idea of who
it is.
Speaker 2 (01:54:09):
But yet they can't find him, and they're thinking that
he's in hiding right now or on the run.
Speaker 31 (01:54:15):
I don't.
Speaker 35 (01:54:16):
Church is right across the street from my subdivision, so
our sub had like cops at the end.
Speaker 7 (01:54:21):
Really, that's so scary, Lydia, I forgot you do live
right across the street there.
Speaker 19 (01:54:25):
I was terrifying.
Speaker 7 (01:54:26):
Wow, Tate McCray has a new man in her life.
Over the weekend, she was spotted with a guy, a
guy who looked like he had a broken arm, and
nobody knew who it was at first. Well, the Internet
did some investigating and he is none other than hockey
player Jack Hughes.
Speaker 4 (01:54:44):
Of the Devils. Is it from Michigan, Yeah, he lives in.
Speaker 13 (01:54:50):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:54:51):
I did not know that.
Speaker 2 (01:54:52):
Twenty four years old. These members of kids got brothers,
another brother that's in hockey and then another brother that
I think there, he's got like two brothers that are
in hockey. Grew up in the area. Great, great looking
kid man.
Speaker 7 (01:55:06):
They were gazing gazing across each other at a dinner table.
Speaker 2 (01:55:09):
I want to know her ex was a hockey player, right,
I think so? I want to know how Jack, because
I saw a couple of weeks ago on the ESPN
that he had hurt his hand at a team dinner.
I wonder if they were goofing around or something.
Speaker 7 (01:55:22):
I cut his hand on glass. He's out for sixty
eight weeks. She dated kid Lile Roy, who was the
other hockey player for right.
Speaker 2 (01:55:29):
Yeah, where are you thinking of others? Because isn't Carrie
Underwood married to one? And then there's like a whole
bunch of them that hockey guys get good looking?
Speaker 28 (01:55:36):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (01:55:37):
Hillary Duff's first husband was a hoe I know. And lastly,
psychiatrists say there is a real mental health boost behind
the whole friends giving trend when Doc explains that hanging
out with friends for a Thanksgiving style meal can actually
feel calmer and happier than the traditional family version. Why
(01:55:57):
because you're spending the day with people you too, friends
you actually get along with, which lowers your stress levels.
It makes you feel more connected. And when everybody shares
what they're grateful for, which I know happens at a
lot of these things, your brain releases those feel good
chemicals that help you relax. So friends giving usually lighter, easier,
way more fun. Moral of the story, celebrating with friends
(01:56:18):
isn't just trendy.
Speaker 4 (01:56:19):
It might be exactly what your metal holidays?
Speaker 2 (01:56:22):
Can you have?
Speaker 4 (01:56:23):
I could have.
Speaker 2 (01:56:26):
Friends. My friends givings are the turkey stuffing. Yeah, bring
what you like it your thanksgiving.
Speaker 6 (01:56:32):
My friends almost like catfish, nuggies and wings from like
my sister.
Speaker 7 (01:56:38):
My sister and her friends do a friends giving it
and everybody has to door dash something, but you don't
tell the group what you do dash. So it's like
taco bell.
Speaker 2 (01:56:50):
That's for me. All right.
Speaker 7 (01:56:55):
If you miss anything from today, so go back and
listen to the podcast on the Free High Art Radio laps.
Speaker 28 (01:57:02):

Speaker 15 (01:58:38):
Okay, okay, I'm walking into work and crush in the street.
Speaker 2 (01:58:44):
Hold on, Lydia grabber. Okay, so look both ways, hold
on one second, all right? Mojo in the Morning Show
eight four to four Mojo Live, Texas, ninety five to
five zero zero. Friday night, got a chance to have dinner.
Chelsea and I went to dinner with this lady over here,
Anna Ross. It was fun. I wanted to catch up
(01:59:07):
with I. See I didn't get sick and it I know,
I felt great. I felt great. I was just making
a joke. I was. I was actually Saturday, I was
on my I was on my game. Man, I was
doing all kinds of stuff. So it's funny, and I
feel good this morning. Are you feeling better or noah,
I'm feeling a little better. So so Friday night went
to dinner with Anna, and I wanted to ask her
(01:59:27):
this question. Could you tell that something was going on
between Chelse and I on Friday night or no?
Speaker 8 (01:59:33):
Not really, But there were comments made when we got
into talking where I was like, oh, snap, I think
they might be fighting.
Speaker 2 (01:59:41):
Would you hear?
Speaker 37 (01:59:42):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:59:42):
You and I made the comments. Yeah, Chelsea was mad
at me for that.
Speaker 19 (01:59:45):
Yeah, I think.
Speaker 8 (01:59:46):
I don't know exactly what Mojo said, but he had
said something. I was like, oh, maybe they were fighting.
Speaker 19 (01:59:51):
Just now.
Speaker 2 (01:59:52):
We were talking about something and I was talking about
some friends of hers that are going through a fight,
and and I said, well, I know some people that
are going through I think. But here's the thing I
bring up. So Chelsea and I are good. I mean,
I will say this to you if you don't get it.
If you don't ever hear people talk about getting in
fights in their relationship, they're lying to there's any relationship there.
(02:00:13):
They're fighting going on, right, So Chelse. Chelse and I
got into a fight earlier in the day and that
let into the evening and we were going out. We
had this plan to go out with Anna on Friday night,
and I kept seeing the clock ticking closer and closer
to the time that we're getting with Anna, and the
argument that we were having was escalating even more, and
(02:00:35):
I'm going, how are we going to do this? And
we weren't going to cancel. I said to Chelsea, do
you want me to call Anna and tell her?
Speaker 9 (02:00:41):
You know?
Speaker 2 (02:00:42):
And she said to me, she goes, no, she goes,
We're going I'm going Oh, God, this is now going
to make it even worse, because now you know I
got to be careful of you know, what I say
or what I don't say. So instead I'll just get drunk.
And I got really drunk. I got Did you you
tell how drunk I was on Friday?
Speaker 8 (02:01:00):
I think I left when when maybe y'all started drinking
a little more. That's when you were like, maybe we
should call someone to drive us home.
Speaker 2 (02:01:06):
He's like yeah, I was like, we're calling an uber.
But I want to ask the listeners this. Have you
ever been in a situation where you either like Chelsea
and I, you are having your relationship argument with each other,
and then you've got to go to a party or
go out with friends, or just in general, go to
like family's house and you have to kind of like
(02:01:27):
fake family. You got to fake it with them or
are you the person that's on the other end like Anna,
and you're like, something doesn't seem right here right now?
Speaker 8 (02:01:39):
Was a little quiet. I was you were at dinner,
but I was like, maybe he's just tired. He woke
up at three thirty.
Speaker 2 (02:01:45):
Well, you and Chelsea got into a conversation, and Chelsea
is like therapist for everybody.
Speaker 19 (02:01:50):
I love talking to her.
Speaker 2 (02:01:51):
Oh my god, they're going deep with stuff like I'm
going are we ordering appetizer?
Speaker 8 (02:01:58):
Do you think that it helped to going out or
do you wish you would have just stayed home and
figured it out.
Speaker 2 (02:02:03):
Well, I feel like I didn't handle things well because
here's what I did. I threw out the whole dagger
of the fight. I got spicy, and then I got drunk,
and it got to a point where I think that
it was probably not the way that I should have
handled it. And obviously you're you know, you're a coworker
of mine, and I felt like Chelsea had to kind
(02:02:25):
of almost take care of you. And then we had
friends that came later and they hung out with you
and they were talking, which they loved you. They absolutely
ever people loved Anna. Actually, it's so funny. We show
up at the restaurant and set Anna sitting at the
bar next to two of our biggest fans of the
show who loved Anne and saw Anna right away and
(02:02:45):
then saw us come in there right afterwards. But it was,
it was awkward, It was it was weird.
Speaker 6 (02:02:51):
So because I feel like there are two different quote
unquote fights and depending upon which one it is either
makes the situation extremely uncomfortable for the people who are fighting,
were for the person on the opposite side who notices
did the fight take place at home or has it
been brewing for a while, or did it take place
in the vehicle.
Speaker 2 (02:03:08):
Up now to the place. No, it happened at home,
the argument happened at home, or the disagreement happened at home.
And then we had to get in the car to go,
and because I was like, we should probably go AND's
and it's like we get there and then the car
going in the car right, No, the car ride was quiet,
and I said, hey, we should probably talk about this
before we get there. And we actually were a couple
(02:03:30):
of minutes late because we were finishing in the parking lot.
Speaker 7 (02:03:33):
So but I feel like this happens to Wes and
I frequently, Yeah, where we get into an argument, and
for me, I can compartmentalize. I can put it in
a box and put it away if we have somewhere
to go where we're going to be around people, and
then I can revisit it and we can like nip
it in the butt. Wes is always like, we're not
(02:03:54):
going I'm not faking fine, and I'm like, okay, I'll
go by myself then, and then he's like, well, no, no, no, no,
I'll go. Oh it is so much harder for him
where And maybe that makes me like a psychopathic no look,
but I can. I can go Okay, I'm going to
enjoy this night with the people that we're spending it with,
and we will figure out our issue when we get back.
Speaker 4 (02:04:13):
With the next morning.
Speaker 6 (02:04:14):
Let me ask you this because I'm the same way,
but it just popped into my head the reason why
I might be the same as you. If you're saying
it's my fault, then no, we got to figure this
out now. I'm not trying to fake it. If I
feel like it's your fault, then I can compartmentalize.
Speaker 2 (02:04:29):
Well, what if it's nobody's fault. It's somebody's fault, it's
always somebody's. But if it's mutual, what if it's a
mutual thing and we all we all have fifty one
forty nine like it's somebody's fault more than another person.
Do you feel like that is the case?
Speaker 19 (02:04:41):
Though I don't.
Speaker 6 (02:04:42):
I don't know because I feel like when I used
to get in relationship arguments if I really felt like
you were the problem, or I could go anywhere and
be fine, but if you were trying to make me
feel like all this because you're like I want this
going on.
Speaker 2 (02:04:53):
I tell you this, I actually don't mind getting into
an argument or getting into if relationship disc agreement when
we are going out with some of our best friends
because I know for a fact that those best friends
are either going to make it better or make it
calm for a couple hours.
Speaker 30 (02:05:13):
See.
Speaker 7 (02:05:13):
But the problem is because I'm always under that impression too.
I think, oh, we had such a fun night. We good,
so we good, And then I wake up in the
morning and Russell be like, we need to talk about
what I'm like done?
Speaker 2 (02:05:26):
Yeah, what's up Ashton?
Speaker 5 (02:05:29):
Hi, what's up guys?
Speaker 2 (02:05:32):
Good morning, Good morning body? What's going on?
Speaker 5 (02:05:35):
So this literally just happened to me and my girlfriend
this past weekend.
Speaker 41 (02:05:39):
We were in the up visiting.
Speaker 5 (02:05:41):
Her family, and we got into an argument and the
whole weekend, which is ruling because I can't pretend like
I'm just okay or pretend like I'm happy when I'm actually.
Speaker 2 (02:05:53):
Not, like I just rather you can't fake the funk.
My friend and I got to tell you something. God,
that's honest of you to say that, But you also
then make it uncomfortable for her, and you make it
really uncomfortable for your friends who don't want to be
in the middle of this and don't want to be
playing divorce court with you. Guys.
Speaker 5 (02:06:14):
Yeah, I try my harder to be like, you know,
cordial around family or just like I don't know, I
just kind of keep it towards her.
Speaker 2 (02:06:25):
It's interesting that you went through it this weekend. Did
you guys smooth it over?
Speaker 35 (02:06:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 41 (02:06:30):
We did.
Speaker 5 (02:06:31):
We were better this morning.
Speaker 2 (02:06:33):
Makeup sex, I wish uh Seanna, what's up? It's mojo
in the morning.
Speaker 37 (02:06:42):
Hey.
Speaker 10 (02:06:43):
So it's super healthy to compartmentalize it and go back
to it later, like Shannon says she does, But you
have to go back to it and revisit it, and
most of the time you realize that it's not even
worth it. And this dude on the phone, he probably
made his kids miserable all all weekend because he couldn't
just put it aside and deal with it later and
(02:07:05):
an appropriate time. It's like, if you have a bad
day at home and you go to work, you can't
let it affect you you've got to get money.
Speaker 5 (02:07:12):
Right, well, you have to.
Speaker 2 (02:07:14):
You have to, you have to, you have to do
a level of being able to kind of just get
on with your day and do what you got to do,
because honestly, the world's not stopping because you guys haven't
settled your argument, and you're right, don't make it miserable
for others, Like I feel bad that Anna said I
was quiet, I think in a lot of respects. Honestly,
(02:07:35):
I was kind of more tired, and I think it
was exhausted from it. But it was Anna did not
get the best of me.
Speaker 19 (02:07:43):
That's okay. I also really enjoyed talking to Chelsea.
Speaker 2 (02:07:46):
You know, it should have just been a one on
one way you.
Speaker 8 (02:07:49):
Guys felt like I needed to have like a girl talk,
So I was almost happy that you were over there.
Speaker 2 (02:07:53):
It was interesting because I really do think Anna needed
like a like a female perspective on some things, and
maybe I was not going to give good responses. What's up, Joanne?
Speaker 49 (02:08:04):
Hi?
Speaker 10 (02:08:06):
Hi?
Speaker 24 (02:08:07):
I was just calling on It always seems like my
husband I will be hosting a party of some for Christmas, party, birthday, party,
whatever it may.
Speaker 37 (02:08:14):
Be, and it always seems like something comes up and
he doesn't let it go.
Speaker 22 (02:08:18):
I let it go.
Speaker 9 (02:08:19):
I'm done.
Speaker 17 (02:08:20):
I'm trying to move on, and I got people I
can't back out.
Speaker 2 (02:08:24):
Yeah. That's the worst is when you're the host and
you're having people over at your house and you guys
aren't getting along.
Speaker 4 (02:08:29):
You're already stressed because it's the worst.
Speaker 2 (02:08:32):
Maybe the people that are coming over are causing the fights.
Have you ever thought about that?
Speaker 9 (02:08:37):
Yeah?
Speaker 24 (02:08:40):
But anytime I say what, I got to say, I'm done.
Speaker 13 (02:08:43):
He's not done.
Speaker 2 (02:08:44):
Yeah, he continues. You got to listen sometimes too, Hey,
what's going on, Kelly?
Speaker 37 (02:08:50):
Good morning. I was just gonna say that I don't
know very many people who don't get into some type
of husband and wife fight on the way to family
picture time and I have to be done.
Speaker 2 (02:09:03):
Yeah wait, what did those family pictures look like? Did
you guys look miserable?
Speaker 14 (02:09:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 37 (02:09:10):
There's like the photographers like, let's go on a mom
and dad and like we had to hug and like
you can tell we're trying to put space there.
Speaker 13 (02:09:16):
It's it's not good like that.
Speaker 2 (02:09:20):
Why don't you guys hug each other? I don't want
to hug you.
Speaker 37 (02:09:24):
No, And like you know where you're yelling at each
other and then we're smiling and yelling through our teeth
like get the kid over here, make.
Speaker 36 (02:09:30):
Her down, and like I was, like, you're not helping,
and it was just bad.
Speaker 2 (02:09:35):
That's fun. By the way, that that is the almost
awkward thing. It's almost God sending you a message when
you get into an argument with family members in a
time when you're supposed to be happy like that, because
what it does is it makes you realize when you're
there and you're trying to make this happy moment, that Okay,
we got to figure this this out, you know, and
(02:09:56):
nothing's Honestly, I don't I don't believe that nothing can
get you can't get past something. And I'll be honest.
In our situation, it was all on me. It had
nothing to do with Chelsea, and it all was my fault,
the you know, argument that came up. And so the
entire time that I was sitting there, the whole time
I was, I was more bummed at myself for being
(02:10:17):
such an idiot, you know what I mean, And and
I felt bad for Chelse. But I will say this
about Chelsea. She was a great sport about things. Because
here it is, she's going out with somebody I work
with and putting a smile on and and being good.
And she was very engaged with Anna and and loved Plus,
Anna was wearing these like shoes that were so cute.
(02:10:41):
We were sitting we were sitting in there. We went
eight at a dinner and then we went to the
bar in the restaurant and kind of had drinks with
friends afterwards. And Anna, Anna's sitting there. I'm like, I
didn't even notice what Anna was wearing. I'm like, Anna
really dressed for this thing.
Speaker 8 (02:10:55):
Well, you talk me to a country club. I was like,
I want to be sure I get in and not
get kicked.
Speaker 2 (02:11:00):
I gotta be honest with you, I wondered. You know
when you walked in, did you say you were there
with me?
Speaker 8 (02:11:07):
Yeah, I said the carballos, I'll show you exactly where
they usually say.
Speaker 2 (02:11:12):
All right, all right, we're going to take a break.
We'll be right back with more coming up.
Speaker 1 (02:11:17):
Next Ah Thanksgiving bringing out family dysfunction since eighteen sixty three.
Speaker 33 (02:11:22):
Your kids, Yeah, well, your daughter dress is like a
slut Exsciving from Mojo in the Morning, WI Detroit.
Speaker 3 (02:11:34):
Risk.
Speaker 1 (02:11:36):
Toledo and I'm Hard radio station.
Speaker 2 (02:11:40):
Guaranteed Human All right, it is Mojo in the morning show, Shannon,
How was the surprise party that you were going for?
Speaker 7 (02:11:49):
It was so much fun if you missed me talking
about it on Friday, I was flying out right after
the show to San Francisco for literally about thirty six
hours to surprise one of my very, very good friends.
Her name is Michael Dupin. If you went to Kensington Church,
you know exactly who she is. Her and her husband
(02:12:12):
were pastors at the church. But she was celebrating a
birthday and flew out to San fran to surprise her,
and she was so freaking surprised. My friend Ashley and
I flew out together. Ashley used to be her neighbor,
so that's how she knew her.
Speaker 2 (02:12:29):
But where was the setting, so, you guys hurt.
Speaker 7 (02:12:33):
So her two girlfriends had taken her to like a smashroom,
like one of those rage rooms, and so they did that,
and then they were going to a happy hour, and
we were going to meet them at this happy hour
at this like little restaurant just outside of San Francisco.
Speaker 4 (02:12:49):
And so my friend Ashley sat.
Speaker 7 (02:12:50):
On the steps of this church across the street waiting
for them to walk in, so that we could walk
into the place, and I tapped her on the show older.
Speaker 4 (02:13:00):
When we got in, her back was turned to me,
can we sit here?
Speaker 32 (02:13:10):
Are you kidding me?
Speaker 54 (02:13:16):
It was so so sweet, so sweet, so her her
reaction was made the trip a million percent worth it.
Speaker 4 (02:13:27):
And then her husband, who.
Speaker 7 (02:13:30):
Is not a great planner, as most husbands are not,
and had a surprise party planned for that evening, and
the surprise party was supposed to take up the whole evening.
He failed to take into account that their oldest son,
who is a senior and on the football team, was
(02:13:50):
going to be in the playoffs that right, so already
the party had to be done. The party that was
supposed to last the whole night had to be done
by seven, because that was kickoff gate. And then he
also failed to take into account that this restaurant that
we were at was not close to their house, and
San Francisco has really bad traffic, so by the time
(02:14:13):
we finished at the restaurant, it was a fifty seven
minute ride to their house. People had been there all
afternoon waiting. She the birthday girl, was at the party
for a total of twenty two minutes.
Speaker 4 (02:14:26):
Before she we all had to leave to go to
the football game.
Speaker 19 (02:14:29):
Did they keep partying when you last?
Speaker 7 (02:14:30):
No, because everybody wanted to go see their son, Henry's
final It turned out to be his final game of
his high school career. Wait, so I go, Clint, could
you have not planned this party for tomorrow, like moved
it to tomorrow once you realize that your son was
going to be playing in a football game?
Speaker 2 (02:14:48):
Was it?
Speaker 9 (02:14:49):
So?
Speaker 2 (02:14:49):
Wow? That's crazy. Everybody knows it's high school football playoff
time right now. So if you even have a chance
of this, you got to sit there and think to yourself,
there is a chance that this could happen.
Speaker 7 (02:14:59):
So that was that was situation Number one was the
football game. And then we you know, followed the quote
unquote instructions to only be at this place. We were
a little bit like, we were like fifteen minutes past
the time we were supposed to be there according to
the schedule.
Speaker 4 (02:15:12):
He failed to.
Speaker 7 (02:15:13):
Take into account traffic and how long it was going
to take us to get back.
Speaker 2 (02:15:17):
My god, that's crazy.
Speaker 4 (02:15:19):
So it was so dang funny, I think the.
Speaker 19 (02:15:21):
Most amazing twenty minutes of her life.
Speaker 7 (02:15:23):
She was very surprised, very very did not want a party,
so very surprised.
Speaker 2 (02:15:29):
It's funny because we talked on Friday and what was
the topic again we talked about.
Speaker 7 (02:15:32):
It was like, well, I was nervous that we were
going to surprise her and she's busy, like she's a
working mom and you know she's her calendar is always crazy,
and I was scared we were going to get there
and she was going to be like, eh, I have
a packed weekend, you know, and I I'm going to
want to spend time with you guys.
Speaker 2 (02:15:50):
I can't, yeah, because of the because everything's going on,
Like you don't realize the level of planning that needs
to go in when you're having these parties. Sometimes these
guys are not the best at throwing them further. Ever, bro,
we don't care about the details. Well I just don't.
I mean, we could do that.
Speaker 4 (02:16:09):
But it was a beautiful party. It was just real short.
Speaker 7 (02:16:13):
He had like got a guy making tacos. They had
all these pictures from over the years from when she
was a little girl up until now. I mean, he
did a great job. It was just the mechanics weren't
working out.
Speaker 2 (02:16:25):
The total length of time that you guys were there
for the party.
Speaker 7 (02:16:27):
Twenty two two minutes from the time she walked in
the door until the time we all had to jump
into the car to go.
Speaker 2 (02:16:35):
So what did you guys do with leftovers from the
tacos and stuff?
Speaker 3 (02:16:38):
Like?
Speaker 2 (02:16:38):
Could you guys come back home and eat them?
Speaker 26 (02:16:40):
Fridge?
Speaker 4 (02:16:41):
Somebody put him in the fridge.
Speaker 26 (02:16:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:16:44):
Now I'm thinking to myself, like, could you have if
you wanted to? Could you have just stayed there at
the house and had a party without her? Has anybody
ever had a party without the person that the party
was for, Like you just have the party without them?
Speaker 7 (02:16:57):
I mean I wanted to see the game, but that's
what I'm saying. It was the last game of his
high school career.
Speaker 2 (02:17:04):
Yeah, that Can I tell you that would be funny though.
If you said, all right, you guys have a great time,
we'll see it when you get back, and you guys
are just throwing a party in their house by themselves,
it'd be like an Airbnb by hanging out eight four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five sixty
Is anybody ever had something like that happened to them?
Speaking of high school football playoffs, can I shout out
(02:17:25):
Davida who works in our traffic and her son is
playing in the high school football playoffs this weekend. Uh
he plays at Detroit cast Tech and they're the final
game I think of the evening this weekend? Is it
at Fortfield Division one, Ford Field and Catholic Central Nobody.
Speaker 19 (02:17:46):
Back to back? Right then last year.
Speaker 6 (02:17:48):
Shouts to doctor Darius, his son plays, I believe on
that scene.
Speaker 2 (02:17:51):
So there's there's a couple of biggings. I wanna shout
out some of these ones because there's some big games
that are going to be uh fun and some of
them deal with obviously a lot of them deal with
our listeners because we have so many listeners on the
west side of the state too. Harbor Beach versus Hudson
So Harbor Beast is playing Hudson nine thirty am. Could
you imagine that to be the game time that you
(02:18:14):
have to play in the morning? Nine thirty in the
morning on Saturday? Was it Saturday Friday? On Friday?
Speaker 19 (02:18:19):
Right after Thanksgiving?
Speaker 2 (02:18:21):
That is crazy? So nine the morning, this is twenty
eighth on Friday. You got to play at nine thirty
and then up up up twelve thirty. Is Hudsonville Unity
Christian versus Dearborn Divine Child. That's at twelve thirty.
Speaker 19 (02:18:38):
Lots of Catholic schools, there are Christian schools they're in.
Speaker 2 (02:18:41):
And then the state Division two championships. You got Orchard
Lake Saint Mary's versus Dexter at seven pm. And then
Sunday the thirtieth, you have school Craft versus. Is it
minomie or name? What was it? Emmy n o m
(02:19:04):
I n ee men own mini No nominee? Is that
what it is? Nominee menominee. So that's that's the nine
thirty am game, and then the twelve thirty game. This
is where Joe, Jacob and Luke went to school, Pontiac
(02:19:27):
Order Dame Prep. Back to back to backs against Grand
Rapids West Catholic. I'm sorry, Grand Rapids West Catholic. God's
not going to be with you guys. That is that
is Division three. You said they went back to back
to back. Division five, it's Division five. I think I
don't know what division. Who cares Mount Pleasant versus de Witt.
(02:19:51):
Maybe we'll be playing in Division three. I guess Division
five is that order name game? And then Division one
is that when I was talking about with Catholic Central versus.
That's the big one versus cast Tack. Yeah, are you
did you go to school there? Neil Neil Feldman in
with us guys, Neil from our friends over at Carl's
(02:20:12):
golf Land and he's here to plug an annual event.
It's a big event that takes place. I unfortunately this year,
I'm going to be out of town for it. But
the Killer Kowalski uh, celebrity bartenders event that is, Yeah,
tell me about it. Christmas for the kids, for Christmas.
Speaker 21 (02:20:30):
For killers a long time.
Speaker 2 (02:20:31):
You're talking to the microphone instead of talking to her.
Speaker 21 (02:20:33):
It's a longtime sports caster, uh that passed away. He
used to do a little Christmas thing where he would
just raise money for kids that didn't have a Christmas
And he did it at a bar called the Brew
House in Keego Harbor, which is probably just a little
larger than your studio. And Tom would get you know,
(02:20:56):
celebrity uh, you know, DJs and sorts, casters and everybody
to show up and they would bartend and the bartender
owner of the bar would donate the profits and Tom
would get like Lions footballs and things like that, and
he'd raise a couple thousand dollars every year, and you know,
(02:21:16):
we were all friends of Tom's and then Tom passed
away and about fifteen years ago. This is our fifteenth year,
so we thought we'd do it one more time in
Tom's honor. He passed in August, and then we did
the kids thing, figuring we'd get it going one more time,
and it was incredible. There was a line out the
(02:21:38):
door around the building people and people just wanted to
walk in, give money and walk out because you couldn't move.
Speaker 51 (02:21:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 21 (02:21:48):
So from there we you know, we thought, okay, so
we raised I think twenty five thousand dollars. That incredible,
you know, roll it forward fourteen years. Last year we
raised one hundred forty and it's it's it's still the
same purpose that Tom did. It's all about kids charities.
(02:22:10):
So we're like a theater charity. So we get we
get money and we give it to.
Speaker 19 (02:22:17):
Breaking and entering and things like that.
Speaker 2 (02:22:19):
Yeah, hey, we could help some, but we do.
Speaker 21 (02:22:23):
Like to Shane Dystrophe and we do Jeff Saqua's uh yeah,
the Downtown Boxing Club. So we continue to do the
Christmas thing for the kids and and more now because
we can.
Speaker 2 (02:22:40):
Offend and it's so well attended I'm telling you there's celebrities, Like,
there's so many people that are there. And when I
say celebrities, Lions players, Red Wings players, Pistons players, new
the news people from town, all the local radio station
people come. You could actually be bartending if if you
want to. It's funny because, uh, Matt Riley, who is
(02:23:02):
also one of the I always say, Matt is a
guy who I don't even know when he sleeps, but
I know I know when he's hanging out at a bar.
I do not know when he sleeps. Like it's one
of those things where it's like you guys always going.
It's kind of like Kevin but but Matt Riley is
Everybody is welcome as long as you bring friends with
you and that's it. And people come up there and
it's wild to see how many people will come up
(02:23:22):
and be like, I came up because I heard you're
going to be here.
Speaker 7 (02:23:25):
So next Friday night, right, it's December fifth, yes.
Speaker 21 (02:23:29):
And wear fifth at the Lodge in Keego Harbor.
Speaker 2 (02:23:33):
And it's a great place and they give up everything
that night. They give up that night profit, which a
Friday night in December with people's holiday parties and stuff
is a huge the best.
Speaker 7 (02:23:45):
Anybody can go right. You need to buy a you
don't need to buy tickets. You can just show up
next Friday night.
Speaker 21 (02:23:50):
And this year, which is really cool, is Kimball Appliance
in Port Huron is donating ten percent of everything they
do this Friday, which is Black Friday and Saturday, of
their sales to Killer cares so and you don't have
(02:24:13):
to go to park hereon. They got a website, Kimberle Appliance.
Whatever you buy they're donating.
Speaker 2 (02:24:19):
Wow, it's amazing.
Speaker 21 (02:24:21):
It just came out a really really cool thing.
Speaker 2 (02:24:23):
And you guys do too.
Speaker 21 (02:24:25):
Last year one of our better prizes in the Silent
Auction was an in studio visit with some people.
Speaker 2 (02:24:34):
In this year this year, Colleen put together in studio
plus some VIP stuff at jingle Ball Fire. It's really cool.
Speaker 21 (02:24:43):
It's cool, and you know it's become a labor of
love for the five guys that just started to do
it because we thought, you know, one more time for Killer.
Speaker 2 (02:24:53):
Tom Kowalski was also a co worker of ours. In
our building we had the sports station, the fan of
the DFN and he legit was one of the biggest
human beings you'll ever meet physically. But he was the
softest heart I've ever seen in my life, you know, emotionally.
He loved kids. Tom never had any kids, right, He
(02:25:15):
never had kids, but cared so much about kids. And
he was also the guy back in the day with
the Lions like Matt. You talk to guys like Matt Stafford,
Calvin Johnson, all those guys, Kowalski was the guy they
wanted to have interview them because he was the best
beat writer in town, you know, and always gave a
really fair balanced opinion of the of the team. And
in the hallway you'd have a conversation. It was kind
(02:25:35):
of like you know how you do in school. You
see the jock in the hallway and you see him
from a distance and you hope he just looks at
you and talks to you. That's how I felt when
I would work with Killer.
Speaker 10 (02:25:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 21 (02:25:44):
He was a great guy, great guy. Everybody loved him.
And you know, the shame of it all is, you know,
first of all, dying at a young age, but he
never never in his career got to see the Lions
like we see them.
Speaker 2 (02:25:57):
Oh my god, he would he have no joke, It
would have been as smiley as he always was. I mean,
in sixteen seasons, the guy could be smiley, but if
you saw the way that all the last yesterday, he
would not have been at It's.
Speaker 6 (02:26:12):
Great though, like for a guy they didn't have any
kids to be affecting as many children as he is.
Speaker 4 (02:26:16):
It's beautiful even after he's no longer here.
Speaker 21 (02:26:19):
Selfish and you know, he's in the NFL Broadcast Hall
of Fame. There's a plaque okay upstairs at the at
Ford Field to his honor, and you know he's he
was just a great guy.
Speaker 2 (02:26:32):
He's the best. I think they named the boot then
they named the booth press like the press Room or
something umb or something like that. Yeah, December fifth, December fifth,
the Lodge and Keego Harbor and people can find out
more right on the website.
Speaker 21 (02:26:46):
Killer there's a Facebook page, and uh, you know, just.
Speaker 2 (02:26:51):
I feel bad. I actually I planned something for that
weekend and then Kelly sent me a text and goes,
can you do it? I'm like, Kelly, the one weekend
and I should get the weekend a year in advance
because I will. It's one of those things I'm not
gonna lie to you. I always do one of the
early times because later in the night these guys drink
(02:27:12):
like crazy crazy, you see that. I'm like that guy
from Fox Too is like partying like I've never seen before. Honestly,
the women at Fox like the seriously they're having. Like
I'm like, these guys are crazy, Amy Andrews, Amy, doctor
bartend and she's sweet.
Speaker 4 (02:27:29):
Mojo always tries to get the same shift as her.
Speaker 2 (02:27:32):
All the tradition, the the Charlie's Angels there, Jessica dub Nak,
Erica Francis, all those guys and always are in those
great Erica Erickson. You know, all those guys are there.
So everybody there. So that's cool. Neil, thanks for being here,
Neil Feldman from thanks for supporting. What's the what's the
place again? The appliance place?
Speaker 9 (02:27:51):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (02:27:52):
Kimble Appliant, Kimble Appliances. All right, that's nicely. Yeah. Never
can I tell you something. It's funny whenever I hear
these people that will say I'm gonna give you a
ten percent of my profits on Black Friday? Are you guys?
I mean seriously, like that's one of their biggest days
on the Christ.
Speaker 7 (02:28:06):
Point of their items is not three dollars.
Speaker 21 (02:28:11):
Everything they do, mattresses and sheets, and you know, small
appliances as big appliances, and yeah, Black Friday, and then
Saturday is shop small the American Express, you know, shop local,
and if you're an American Express hoste, you get some
kind of bonus for shopping locals.
Speaker 2 (02:28:28):
Take a club. Hey, and I asked a question I
thought was really interesting. We should bring it up on
the air, wanting to know what's the best time to
eat your Thanksgiving dinner? What time do you guys eat
in the rob Households.
Speaker 8 (02:28:41):
So I feel like we always plan on eating at
like five, but it's never five. It's always like six
thirty seven. And I always get so jealous because I'm
on social media. My friends are posting their plates at
like noon two four, and I'm like, I want to
eat mine now, but it's always.
Speaker 19 (02:28:59):
Like two hours late.
Speaker 8 (02:29:00):
Then I saw Martha Stewart, who's like the og of homemaking.
Speaker 2 (02:29:04):
What does she say?
Speaker 8 (02:29:04):
I want to say, I would have to look at him. No,
she said like four. I think like three or four.
So now I'm trying to get my mom like, let's
eat at three.
Speaker 2 (02:29:13):
I argue with my beloved wife about this because I
think we eat too late. We do the whole like
your family does, the five thick thirty six o'clockish thing.
I think you got to eat early and eat often,
like I think, like you know what I mean, like
I think you I think it's like they used to
have that as a motto when I was a kid
growing up in Chicago. They said in the elections, vote
(02:29:34):
early and vote often. But that's what I always think
that in. Chelsea does not agree with me on this.
Chelsea thinks that you got to eat later, like you're
eating a regular dinner. I agree, a regular dinner.
Speaker 7 (02:29:44):
I know, but I can't eat dinner at three pm.
Speaker 2 (02:29:50):
I'm a five to seven guy.
Speaker 6 (02:29:52):
But I just got the invitation on Saturday and I
looked at and I was like, man, this looked like
a repass. So I didn't really like, look at what
times thirty?
Speaker 2 (02:30:01):
That's a great earliest head. The last Lions are a noone.
Remember they don't plock this year?
Speaker 3 (02:30:07):
Was it?
Speaker 2 (02:30:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 21 (02:30:07):
They moved it from twelve thirty to one o'clock?
Speaker 2 (02:30:09):
It is, yeah. I thought it was always new.
Speaker 19 (02:30:11):
No, I thought watch the game out of your food.
Speaker 2 (02:30:14):
I can't believe that's the point you know what it is.
The NFL has eighteen thousand games. I used to love
it when it was just two games on. Now they
do like so many different games. Okay, so you got
one o'clock game, You're not even gonna be able to
You're gonna be in the middle of the game. It
could be a great ending of the game. You're not
going to the table, are you not? At all?
Speaker 6 (02:30:29):
I think it should be between five and seven. It
should be regular dinner time.
Speaker 9 (02:30:32):
Early.
Speaker 7 (02:30:34):
See, we always have family that goes to the game,
so we can never do it early. We have to
wait till everybody's home from the game.
Speaker 2 (02:30:39):
What time you get home from a parade.
Speaker 7 (02:30:42):
Well, it's always kind of weird because LUs and Smith
go to the game with their dad's family, and so
I have to kind of wait and transition them downtown,
so I don't get out of there till maybe eleven
thirty ish.
Speaker 8 (02:30:53):
The paray does to mention it because my family goes
every year too, and that's always my mom's excuse.
Speaker 19 (02:30:59):
Not really, but she's like, I can't do all the cooking.
We don't get home until one two.
Speaker 2 (02:31:04):
Yeah, we did the game for the first time last year.
We never would do it before. We would do turkey
trot or maybe watch the parade, and then we would
come home afterwards, and Chelsea felt like we had to
do it, and then we ate out. I loved it.
She hated.
Speaker 4 (02:31:18):
I remember, that was great for you.
Speaker 2 (02:31:20):
She never and then just had nothing to do with
her cooking. I loved eating out because I loved the
idea that I didn't have to wash pants or the
worst is what is it? Pirates dishes trying to get
crap out of it?
Speaker 4 (02:31:32):
You got to get a scrub daddy.
Speaker 2 (02:31:34):
They have get.
Speaker 4 (02:31:37):
That's the most popular sponge. This is This is.
Speaker 2 (02:31:40):
Like the middle of the night infomercials going on here
right now.
Speaker 4 (02:31:43):
It looks like a smiley face. Actually, I have a
story for you, stories about anyway. I got very excited.
Speaker 2 (02:31:56):
About that is What is it used to say, I
love your nuts or whatever?
Speaker 4 (02:32:00):
I remember slap chop?
Speaker 2 (02:32:02):
Ye know the slap chot guy. Hold on a second,
I think I have the drop in here. Hold on
a second, it was dog. It was slap chop, I
love your Here you go. This is the slap chop guy?
Ready is it chunky peanut butter? Hold I say no,
hold on, hold on this one. This one, Hi, it's
(02:32:22):
fits with slap chop.
Speaker 1 (02:32:23):
You're gonna love my nuts.
Speaker 2 (02:32:24):
Watch this, You're gonna love my nuts. There you go, Vicky,
what's the perfect time to eat your Thanksgiving dinner?
Speaker 24 (02:32:31):
Martha says two o'clock?
Speaker 2 (02:32:33):
I knew it? See that. Will you do me a favor, Vicky?
Will you call or text or d M my wife
and tell her that? Martha Stewart says, you know, Martha.
Speaker 13 (02:32:44):
To go to she is knowing Chelsea.
Speaker 2 (02:32:48):
She'd say, no, my way or the highway right exactly.
I don't understand that. I can't understand clock early, bro.
Speaker 1 (02:32:54):
Hi, this is Martha.
Speaker 2 (02:32:55):
Stewart, and listening to Murder in the morning is a
very good thing. There you go.
Speaker 19 (02:33:00):
I'm looking up for reasonings right now for you, CoV.
Speaker 2 (02:33:03):
I think that with Detroit having a game, and it's
a history that we are historic, that we always have
the first game. I think the moment the game ends,
which is typically around four thirty ish, you should be
eating no earlier, no later, right after it, unless you're
going to the game, and then you can push it
(02:33:24):
back a little bit later, and then the women should
be home cooking. I think they should wow the women
get in the kitchen and make a meal for the show.
Speaker 7 (02:33:36):
In the morning dot com bring me my plate.
Speaker 2 (02:33:41):
I'm sorry. I read it in the Bible. The gods
God said in the Bible that you guys should be
taking care of He said, thow there though, what's going on, Jim?
Speaker 11 (02:33:55):
Hey, how's it going? Good morning, hi, Jim.
Speaker 2 (02:33:58):
What's the perfect time for eating?
Speaker 22 (02:34:00):
Oh?
Speaker 11 (02:34:01):
Two o'clock? Yeah, Thanksgiving dinner? Thanksgiving summer traditionally a midday meal.
Speaker 2 (02:34:09):
Wait, that's right, you get to eat again. It's your leftovers.
But wait, are you eating at halftime of the game?
Is that when you're eating?
Speaker 11 (02:34:16):
See, I'm from the South. I ain't used to having
a game midday like this.
Speaker 13 (02:34:19):
Yeah, we all eat, you.
Speaker 11 (02:34:20):
Know, two o'clock earlier, the better that way. At you know,
seven o'clock, you're having your turkey sandwiches. Everyone else is
sitting down for their dinner seven nine o'clock. Weren't drunk
eating our turkey sandwiches right over time.
Speaker 2 (02:34:33):
My favorite, ever, is the seven to nine o'clock. Like,
in between seven and nine o'clock, we're watching home alone,
or maybe it's a good day and we're eating. Then
all of a sudden, like who wants some leftovers, and
some go for the pies, and they go for the
stuffing and potatoes and oh so good.
Speaker 11 (02:34:51):
But turkey stuffing cranberry sandwiches are the best.
Speaker 2 (02:34:54):
Yeah, it really is.
Speaker 11 (02:34:57):
And the earlier I can eat those, the better I eat.
Speaker 2 (02:35:00):
I do what you do, and that's I put everything
together on one sandwich, you know what I mean? And
not maybe in pre gluten when gluten ruined my life,
it used to be the Hawaiian rolls. You'd make the
sandwiches on those freaking Hawaiian yesterday. Hey, Sarah, what's up?
What's the perfect time?
Speaker 10 (02:35:19):
Half time for the Lions?
Speaker 42 (02:35:21):
Baby said?
Speaker 2 (02:35:22):
Halftime? Like what that last caller said? So right around
that half? So game starts at one, I guess halftime?
Speaker 4 (02:35:28):
Of course?
Speaker 2 (02:35:32):
What is that noise right after blinker? What is it?
Is that your blinker? Or what is that noise that
we're hearing there? Shannon thought you were riding horse? You know, Uh, Joe,
she must have turned all right? What's going on? Steve?
Speaker 26 (02:35:50):
Hey? What's going on?
Speaker 2 (02:35:51):
Mojoe?
Speaker 6 (02:35:51):
First off, the best time is four thirty to five thirty, okay.
Speaker 9 (02:35:55):
And second off, keV.
Speaker 2 (02:35:57):
The person you were thinking of the guy with the cleaning. Yeah,
Billy May, let's.
Speaker 4 (02:36:04):
Still use oxy clean.
Speaker 2 (02:36:05):
Bill?
Speaker 13 (02:36:06):
You got the sham?
Speaker 1 (02:36:07):
Wow guy, Yeah the sham.
Speaker 2 (02:36:09):
Billy Mays died from. Didn't he die from his oxy clean?
Speaker 7 (02:36:15):
Like a cocaine thing? I don't want to should be
like a heart attack or something. And I just said that.
Speaker 2 (02:36:23):
Ola says that it's ridiculous to eat too early. What
do you think?
Speaker 23 (02:36:29):
Yeah, I think you guys eat at two o'clock so
they can eat during the game, but you know who's
cooking for them at four am?
Speaker 9 (02:36:36):
To get everything ready.
Speaker 19 (02:36:37):
It's a lot of work.
Speaker 2 (02:36:38):
I don't know, you know what old where you're from.
Where's that accent from? They sound like, oh my god, Ola,
(02:36:58):
I do agree that I think that it's too you
can't eat too early.
Speaker 13 (02:37:03):
But also I think six.
Speaker 2 (02:37:06):
O'clock is late. Chelsea this year because we're going to
the game, is going to prepare everything the night before
and then we'll throw it in the two weeks.
Speaker 50 (02:37:17):
I don't know, well to get everything, to buy everything, to.
Speaker 15 (02:37:21):
Get your house ready.
Speaker 18 (02:37:22):
I mean, we're okay, and we have a lot of people,
have like fifty people, so it's it's a lot.
Speaker 24 (02:37:27):
It's a lot going on.
Speaker 2 (02:37:29):
What time here's the big question. If you guys eat
at six, what times everybody leave your damn house?
Speaker 11 (02:37:35):
Never?
Speaker 2 (02:37:37):
I'll just say, all right, Ola, we love you, Thank
you for the call. All right, happy, Thanks.
Speaker 1 (02:37:46):
Emoya. He's hoping to get as much ass play as
a turkey.
Speaker 2 (02:37:49):
This thanks Giving hits the boost underful.
Speaker 1 (02:37:52):
Time to get stuffed. Happy Thanksgiving. We can get stuffed
everybody from in the morning, you crazy, Tony bro Tony Travados.
Speaker 2 (02:38:06):
That seriously, don't mess. We're talking about a turkey, Shannon,
and I don't know what you're thinking about past.
Speaker 4 (02:38:14):
That's what it says. That's what it says.
Speaker 1 (02:38:19):
When jingle Ball tickets right now.
Speaker 2 (02:38:21):
Yeah, I didn't hear that part, when jingle Ball takes
right now. Eighty four four Mojo Live eight four four
sixty six five six by four eight.
Speaker 3 (02:38:30):
In the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 2 (02:38:33):
What's trending this hour?
Speaker 42 (02:38:34):
Chance?
Speaker 7 (02:38:34):
Okay, So everybody's talking about Wicked for Good, this sequel
to the first movie, and No Surprise dominated the weekend
box office with a record breaking one hundred and fifty
million dollar US debut, one of the biggest openings of
the year. It actually surpassed the original Wicked movie that
brought in about one hundred and twelve mili so Wicked
(02:38:56):
for Good to set a new record. It is the
biggest opening ever for a film based on a Broadway show,
and it also snagged the second biggest opening of the weekend,
biggest opening weekend of the year excuse me in North America.
So it fell a little bit below a Minecraft movie,
it was still above Lee Lo and Stitch, so right there,
sitting at number two for twenty twenty five so far.
Speaker 2 (02:39:19):
How crowded was the movie that you went to last night?
Sunday nights? You'd think it would be lighter.
Speaker 7 (02:39:23):
It wasn't sold It wasn't a sold out show, but
it was it was pretty full.
Speaker 2 (02:39:27):
So I bought tickets weeks ago for the Friday after
Thanksgiving and there were only like five seats available in
the whole place.
Speaker 4 (02:39:36):
It's it's emotional, Kleenex, is it?
Speaker 3 (02:39:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:39:40):
Is it as good as the first one?
Speaker 7 (02:39:41):
I don't think it's as good as the first one,
But that being said, I still love loved it, but
I mean, it's it's so fun. I'll see it again
this week for sure, I'll go see it a second time.
Speaker 2 (02:39:54):
We love that the you know, day after Thanksgiving, you
all go to the movies together and I fall asleep
the entire time.
Speaker 4 (02:40:00):
No you want, It's good, okay.
Speaker 7 (02:40:02):
While performing on his world tour last year, it was
built as his final run under the childish gambino named Donald,
Glover said he experienced a pretty serious health emergency. Was
doing a show in I believe it was Louisiana. Had
a severe headache, blurry vision, kept performing anyway, very clearly
something was wrong. Moved to the next tour stop in Houston,
(02:40:24):
where he finally went to the hospital and learned this
news from doctors.
Speaker 27 (02:40:28):
So when we went to Houston, I went to the
hospital and the doctor was like, you had a stroke.
And the first thing I thought was like, oh, like here,
I am still copying Jamie Fox.
Speaker 7 (02:40:50):
By the way, the stroke wasn't the only thing he
was suffering from. He also found out he had a
hole in his heart and a broken foot.
Speaker 4 (02:40:57):
He had a few.
Speaker 2 (02:40:57):
Strokes these days. Stress or like what causes the stroke?
Speaker 19 (02:41:03):
Stress?
Speaker 2 (02:41:04):
A lot of conspiracy theorists have their thoughts on him.
But right ray of forty uh, A lot of people
see a lot of people think it's the vaccine. The
COVID vaccine. But I will tell you that Donald Glover
is one of those guys where I bet you his
child his genetics could play a part in that, Like
a lot of people didn't. I didn't realize that I
had genetics in my family.
Speaker 4 (02:41:25):
Oh for your hurt for the heart stuff, yeah yeah, okay.
Speaker 7 (02:41:28):
So we were just talking about the sham Wow guy
and randomly he's in the dirty the dude who who
is the sham Wow guy? His name is Vince Offer.
He's now sixty one years old. He's running for Congress.
He's running in the Republican primary in Texas's thirty one district.
He's running against a guy who served in office since
(02:41:49):
two thousand and three, so it's no small feet.
Speaker 4 (02:41:51):
But he also did slap chop.
Speaker 7 (02:41:53):
I didn't realize it was the same guy, sham Wow,
slap chop both vance. He also did the shticky lint
ruler quid cleaner called Invincible, and then another kitchen.
Speaker 2 (02:42:03):
Saying every time it's like a chamois.
Speaker 21 (02:42:07):
It's like a towel type a sponge.
Speaker 9 (02:42:08):
A regular towel doesn't work.
Speaker 1 (02:42:09):
Wet, this works wet or draw.
Speaker 2 (02:42:11):
This is for the house.
Speaker 4 (02:42:12):
Here's the thing he's got a little bit of a record.
You remember the scandal with him.
Speaker 7 (02:42:17):
He was arrested in two thousand and nine for beating
up a prostitute who tried to bite out his tongue.
Speaker 2 (02:42:23):
Oh, oh, my god. And he's running from now, he's running.
Speaker 4 (02:42:25):
He's running for count Its always good stuff.
Speaker 26 (02:42:27):
You can cut it in half.
Speaker 2 (02:42:28):
He's one of the back man trying to bite out
his tongue. Yes, why are you kissing a prott And
by the way.
Speaker 4 (02:42:36):
To set the record, stran.
Speaker 19 (02:42:40):
Oxy cleans.
Speaker 7 (02:42:41):
Billy Mays did die of a heart issue, but the
toxicology found cocaine in his system, so we were both right.
Speaker 2 (02:42:47):
If if you have name recognition, you a lot of
times will win elections. Will the sham will guy have
enough name recognition?
Speaker 7 (02:42:53):
Well, like I said, he's running up against a guy
who's served in office since the early two thousands.
Speaker 2 (02:42:57):
He's got cleaning up the streets, cleaning up ourselves. You
know a part of that for sure.
Speaker 7 (02:43:03):
And shout out to our Detroit Lions taking a w
last night in overtime Coach Dan Campbell after the game,
you don't you don't.
Speaker 2 (02:43:14):
Know exactly how the game's gonna go.
Speaker 41 (02:43:17):
And you guys just kept slotting it back, man, buying
your time, and we may the stop for news to lunch.
Great job there, our offense when we leave the banks
all that. We'll get you this here in a minute.
But I'm telling you, man, you don't know how to
ride it. You don't know what's gonna happen. You just
find a way to win Dan.
Speaker 2 (02:43:34):
To find a way to win Dan, I think has
to give up the call in the place though, and
go back to where we were.
Speaker 19 (02:43:39):
Yeah, that's what I was.
Speaker 2 (02:43:40):
I think we there's got to be somebody on this
team that can call plays or bring in somebody. You know,
does Ben Johnson have like a little brother or somebody. Yeah,
like bring bring in somebody that can call the plays.
My fear of him doing it is I feel like
the end of the first half he lost a little
bit of the game feel and what to do and
calling a time out instead of trying to get up
(02:44:02):
to the line and down the ball. I just I
don't know. It just doesn't seem right to me. And
I feel like against really good teams, it's going to
be tough for him to you.
Speaker 4 (02:44:11):
Against Green Bay, well, I.
Speaker 2 (02:44:12):
Think green Bay is not as good as we made
them out to be in the first game of the year,
so I think that coming here it's going to be
a tough place for them to win. My fear, though,
is we still have a tough schedule, so I feel
like we have to win out because I mean, I
think the Bears will eventually become the Bears and they'll
start losing games. But the problem is, you know, not
(02:44:34):
everybody makes the playoffs. I thought this was a definite
playoff bound team and we were going to win the
Super Bowl. But now you look at it, there's a
chance that games like that loss against well, the loss
against the Rams are the best team in the football
and Matthew Stafford is by far to the MVP of football.
But the Chiefs loss and the referees doing what they
(02:44:56):
did in that game, and then the Eagles loss could
be something that we look back on later the season
and go crap man. Now we're sitting home.
Speaker 7 (02:45:04):
Or if you miss anything from today's show, you can
catch up on the podcast on the free I heard r.
Speaker 2 (02:45:10):

whenever I talked football with him, he would come in
here and he looked at me. He goes, did you
ever play football?
Speaker 21 (02:45:18):
Like celebrity.
Speaker 1 (02:45:22):
His moto in the Morning's Dirty.
Speaker 2 (02:45:25):

Backstreet boys, and he would he had no clue about
those guys. What's up, Alissa?
Speaker 32 (02:45:33):
Hi?
Speaker 24 (02:45:34):

I'm so excited. Where are you from?
Speaker 7 (02:45:44):
I'm from Rochester.
Speaker 2 (02:45:45):
Are you going to the lighting of the entire town?
Speaker 13 (02:45:50):
I might and.
Speaker 39 (02:45:51):
I I haven't decided, so I need to make my
decisions soon.
Speaker 8 (02:45:54):
If you do, can you spy on Bianca for us?
Speaker 13 (02:45:58):
Yes?
Speaker 24 (02:45:58):
I can do that.
Speaker 2 (02:46:00):
Hey, quick question. When they do that where they efflicially
officially flip the switch and the entire town lights up,
does your power dam at home like with all those
lights going on?
Speaker 31 (02:46:11):
Serge?
Speaker 48 (02:46:13):
No, I don't live Luckily, I don't live that far
from there, but.
Speaker 22 (02:46:17):
No, it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (02:46:18):
It is really beautiful for those that don't know. Yes,
Rochester is a town that's, you know, probably what forty
minutes from downtown Detroit, and they light up the whole
the whole downtown area and it just is absolutely gorgeous.
Speaker 7 (02:46:31):
Every store is a different color all the way down
the main street.
Speaker 2 (02:46:36):
And it's honestly one of the coolest parts of our
community here in the Metro Detroit area. And I know
a lot of towns have that, So shout out to
all those towns. All right, hang on one second, we'll
get you set up with your tickets.
Speaker 48 (02:46:47):
Thank you, a good day, Happy Thanksgiving.
Speaker 1 (02:46:52):
Thanks for thermal audio technology.
Speaker 28 (02:46:55):
Mojo in the Morning's radio signal actually warms the car
before you get into it.
Speaker 1 (02:47:00):
You're welcome. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo in
the Morning.
Speaker 2 (02:47:04):
keV. I was following you, uh, keV knows on Instagram
and I saw this weekend you got hit on by
this lady. Kathy is her name, and she she was
taking a liking to Kevin, which, by the way, who
doesn't take a liking to Kevin? Appreciate you, man, God
has been good. Can I can I play? Can I
(02:47:25):
play you some audio from Kevin's story? This is Kevin's
story here, hold on a second, let me let me
play it all right?
Speaker 47 (02:47:30):
What's the name?
Speaker 9 (02:47:31):
And said?
Speaker 51 (02:47:31):
What you say?
Speaker 26 (02:47:32):
My name is Kathy. I'm a psychic. I'm sixty eight
years old, and I've told a lot of people good
things about their life, their careers. Whatever I feel it,
I'm gonna.
Speaker 18 (02:47:41):
Walk up and I'm gonna tell you some people laugh
at me, and I'll say, well, you're gonna laugh when
you get it.
Speaker 26 (02:47:47):
You will laughing.
Speaker 2 (02:47:48):
Tell me what you say, what you see about me?
Speaker 26 (02:47:50):
You're a nice looking young man? Thank you? I mean
you don't I do the grounds and I'm not here.
Speaker 2 (02:47:56):
That was my fault. That was my fault. I forgot that.
It swore hold on, hold on, let me, let me,
let me, let me stop this run saying hold on.
So this was her talking about Kevin.
Speaker 26 (02:48:08):
Yeah, people, good things am out there, and where's whatever
I feel it. I'm gonna walk up and I'm.
Speaker 18 (02:48:15):
Gonna tell you some people laugh at man.
Speaker 26 (02:48:18):
I'll say, well, you're gonna laugh when you get it.
You will be to laugh.
Speaker 2 (02:48:21):
And tell me what you said, what you see about me?
Speaker 26 (02:48:23):
You're a nice looking young man.
Speaker 2 (02:48:24):
By the way, how old is this lady?
Speaker 23 (02:48:26):
Yo?
Speaker 12 (02:48:26):
This?
Speaker 2 (02:48:26):
I mean you're looking at her. How do you think
she is? She's got to be like eighties And you
said to her, are you trying to f me? Is
what I had to dump out of the thing. I
can't believe you. I mean, that's what happened. Bro I'm
sitting at Buffalo Wa Wings.
Speaker 6 (02:48:43):
Joe Sia had a shout out to Caden, doctor Reynolds
from Renal renalds Orthodonics. His son had a birthday party,
so I dropped Josiah off. At the birthday party, lions
were playing. I'm like, man, where's the bar around here?
So Buffalo Wow Wings is down the street. I go
to Buffalo Wo Wings, shout out Devin who waited on
me tasking God to for twenties banging. So I get
my food, get my drink, and here comes Kathy and
(02:49:07):
her walker.
Speaker 2 (02:49:08):
And she got a jacket of hair full of white
like afro, like Whitely. You can't miss her. So she
comes up. She's like, excuse me, you heard her. But
she's like, she was like, do you believe in psychics?
I was like no.
Speaker 6 (02:49:22):
She's like, well, do you mind if I tell you anyway?
I was like sure, why not? Then that's what she
was like, you look like a model. I was like, Kathy,
I got to record you again, what a horrible psychic?
She think it looks like a model.
Speaker 2 (02:49:36):
So I said no, Cas, She's like, you could be
a model.
Speaker 6 (02:49:39):
I swear if you've never thought about this as a
career fath you should go and do it.
Speaker 2 (02:49:44):
You're you're handsome. So I thought it was like, okay,
this impersonation of her dead.
Speaker 6 (02:49:52):
She was going just lifting like so I'm going through it,
I'm listening to her nod in my head, said and
then I.
Speaker 2 (02:49:58):
Thought she was like serious. And then right afterwards she
was like, I don't normally do this, but we had
a recent death in the family and I need to
pay for the funeral. Have any cash so I don't
look like a model. He was just trying to hustle.
Butter me up. The hustler got hustle, tell me butter
(02:50:19):
my biscuits. But to wait. So so she was trying
to do give you a reading, like a full reading
for some money.
Speaker 6 (02:50:26):
I don't know if it was a full reading, because
that's all she had to say. Yeah, that's that's about
for she has psychic or a prostitute.
Speaker 2 (02:50:35):
What you're looking for? Yeah, because because I'm looking at
this lady the whole time and she's saying I'm a
psychic and you're good looking. Okay, wait, that's not going
to do with being a site. You're going to be
a model and you're gonna remember right back, when did
you give her anything at all? I told her, I
don't have cash on me, Kathy, I'm sorry.
Speaker 6 (02:50:53):
Did then I realize I was being a hustle like
nowaday that must and asked me there might be a
different story.
Speaker 2 (02:50:57):
So can I tell you what's going on nowadays? Nowadays,
I at the I don't have cash on anything, and
they'll pull out the most cash. I mean, they're getting
really good at this. I gave a got twenty dollars
earlier that day, so that was mine for the day.
And I gad, but some people step at the dollar
store shouts a dollar store and water for a second.
Hold on the whole gang, let's talk about your good
(02:51:18):
will that you did. You give a guy twenty dollars
for what? I don't know. I go to Motor City Church.
Speaker 6 (02:51:23):
It's like right in front of a right across the
street from American Coney Island. And I saw a guy
last week and I don't carry cash on me, so
he asked me for so I was like, man, I
don't have cash, and I felt bad. So I'm again
this Sunday and I had a twenty on me. I
was like, bru, I remember you asked me that them
up game the twenty. You know that's and he didn't
even have to tell you how much you look.
Speaker 1 (02:51:42):
That's what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (02:51:43):
Just be you and then the other person you just
bought their their things.
Speaker 6 (02:51:47):
I was in a dollar store, and you know, when
you feel good, let the spirit lead you.
Speaker 10 (02:51:51):
You know.
Speaker 6 (02:51:51):
I don't do it all the times, but when I
feel like God is telling me to do something, I
do my best to follow through. Yeah, And it was
a lady in front of me. She had a couple
of things. I was like, you man, if I pay
for Oh? She was so excited. Then I saw the
lady behind me. I was like, I'm really real good,
Like who else wanted to get in? So I got
that lady pay for her stuff and it was It
was a good time.
Speaker 2 (02:52:07):
I will tell you that I've done that before. Where
you go and you pay for somebody stuff, sometimes people
don't like it. They don't. They don't as I said,
would you mind? Is it okay? If?
Speaker 35 (02:52:16):
Ye?
Speaker 2 (02:52:16):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (02:52:17):
Sometimes I did it one time and a lady didn't
like it, like she was like she made it. I
guess she thought that I looked at her as somebody
that didn't have enough. That was like my interpretation of
her reaction. She was kind of like, why would you
do something like that.
Speaker 2 (02:52:29):
Which, if she knows you, she will realize that you're
just trying to get a piece of ass. I mean
depending on.
Speaker 28 (02:52:40):
No.
Speaker 2 (02:52:40):
No, no, that's a lot of ass.
Speaker 3 (02:52:42):
No.
Speaker 2 (02:52:42):
Actually, Kevin is Kevin is one of the kindest, most
generous guys. I know. This is the week too, like
where somebody comes up to you. It's like Thanksgiving week.
You can't like I I feel like if if the
if there if being out there asking for money was
like the stock market. This is the week the markets
is My guy is doing it right across the street
(02:53:02):
from church. Yeah. Can you imagine he got smart? That's perfect.
There are the best is the people that stand out
either in front of like a bar, you know, because
you're going in there and go do some bad stuff,
or like a game. I always see the guys out there,
Like I used to love the eat him Up Tigers guy.
(02:53:24):
You know, he was such a That guy was the best,
and you had that was one of those guys. I
would give him money, you know, like I because he
at least had a thing going, you know what I mean.
What do you think of the guys like the there's
the I've noticed that some of the guys that that
are there, they got like a boombox or whatever their
music there and they're out there and they're doing their
(02:53:45):
whole little dance routine and everybody comes around. And I
see this a lot when I go to Chicago and
visit Chicago. They'll be on Michigan Avenue and they're they're,
they're they're doing their thing. This one guy does is
like Chris Brown, like dancing too, like Chris Brown songs,
and he's all silver be like hey, and.
Speaker 7 (02:54:00):
He's like a statue for a second, and then he
comes to life.
Speaker 2 (02:54:03):
And people will stand up close and they'll be enjoying
the whole thing, and then they just walk away and
the guy looks so defeated.
Speaker 7 (02:54:09):
Well, think about the guy that we also when we
were in Chicago for the Hall of Fame ceremony with
a magician.
Speaker 4 (02:54:14):
Yeah, at the.
Speaker 8 (02:54:15):
Morning, some performers in Eastern Market every Saturday, and now
they have signs out front that says no videos unless
you tip us.
Speaker 2 (02:54:22):
Yeah, because I just.
Speaker 8 (02:54:23):
Get I was one of them, Like I would be like, oh,
this is such a cool vibe. Let me get a
video of it real quickly.
Speaker 4 (02:54:28):
What are they gonna do chase after you?
Speaker 19 (02:54:29):
I don't know, but I didn't take a video.
Speaker 2 (02:54:31):
But I feel like if you're videoing them, if you're
getting content for your social media, you got to give
him a couple of bus or at the very least,
the guy should have a sign where people who see
it on social media, Like, if you're smart, you have
a sign that says your name, or some see me
on there, you gotta pay it.
Speaker 6 (02:54:47):
I feel like that's the risk you run though, if
you outside perform me and you're doing it for people
who are walking by, or you know, hopefully you can
see a music exec or somebody finds you on some
sharing type of thing, but you run a risk of
people just looking at you and listening and going about
their day.
Speaker 2 (02:55:02):
We've been when the kids were little. We'd go to
Chicago and I would say, guys, you guys can't sit
there and watch. And then we'd like, no, no, no,
I go you can't sit there and watch. And the
reason why I was one time we sat there and
watched and chell and I didn't pay, and Chelsea was
giving me crap. The rest of the day, Like the
guy just performed for your kids. He basically kept your
kids quiet for twenty at least give him something. What's up, Cindy, how.
Speaker 13 (02:55:22):
You doing so a long time ago?
Speaker 32 (02:55:26):
It's been, you know, since the early nineties. I grew
up in Chicago and my mom's old friend, her husband.
He had his legs cut off, but he was in
a wheelchair, but it was cut off from like diabetes complications.
Speaker 25 (02:55:39):
But he used to always lie.
Speaker 32 (02:55:40):
He would put a big sign on the back of
his wheelchair that said World War two VET please help.
He really didn't need the money, but he was. He
was terrible. He was a hustler, like so bad, and
so he was paying my mom like one hundred and
fifty dollars to take him downtown.
Speaker 2 (02:55:55):
Why do you say no to that? The guy's got
his everybody, but he did.
Speaker 32 (02:56:00):
It was crazy. My mom used to drive him down
there and she could drop them off. He'd play like
one hundred.
Speaker 4 (02:56:05):
And fifty bucks to drop her off.
Speaker 2 (02:56:08):
He would pay your mom money to be his his
uber there.
Speaker 13 (02:56:11):
Huh means you have to drop him down there.
Speaker 32 (02:56:14):
But on a good day, like he come home with
fifteen hundred dollars after.
Speaker 2 (02:56:18):
Like a, Yeah, that's my rent. You know what. You
guess who's cutting their legs Off's like Shannon's like, God's
gonna get him. Guess what I got already gotten. He's
sending out on a street corner doing that, so.
Speaker 32 (02:56:36):
Well he's already gone and passed now. But he was
like seventy and he used to put that sign out
there at every game. He'd come home with a thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (02:56:44):
Ask him if he would like to sell radio advertising
for iHeart, Well, we'll hire him in a second.
Speaker 28 (02:56:49):
So I had to join in the morning show to
you appreciate on our free Heart video app and never.
Speaker 1 (02:56:55):
Missed the show.
Speaker 2 (02:56:57):
Detroit Next Whiskey and I'm Heart Radio station guaranteed Human
Oh John in the morning. I love this week working.
I know a lot of times radio shows will take
off this week and uh use this as like a
week vacation like Christmas. I like working this week because
(02:57:20):
this is the week that everybody comes back home, and
so I like to work and be able to like
have some of the people that have left the you
know Detroit stations here that work for iHeart, you know,
come back in and visit and say hi. And one
of them is somebody here. I'm the most proud of
her of anybody that's ever worked on our show. I
(02:57:41):
don't even think Kevin and Anna you even know who
Jen is. I know I know that that Shannon and
myself and Lydia especially, you've helped Lydia and stuff. Jen
Sowala worked way back when on this radio show, back
in what year was it? Oh my god that Chad
was here? Yeah? Yeah, two thousand and four. This is
(02:58:03):
one of my favorite stories ever. Jen started as a
therapist for my son Joe from the Joe Show. Remember that, yes,
way back when? Where was that in like Anna Arber
or something like that, or where's that office at? I
remember we drive I'd had to drive.
Speaker 53 (02:58:17):
In, Chelsea, I recommend it.
Speaker 2 (02:58:20):
Yeah, you recommended this place. But Jen actually was like,
because Jen's background is she's a therapist, now she's in radio,
tell me that she doesn't need therapy for that, right,
So Jen recommended. Jen recommended for Joey to go to
this therapist. And then Jen helped me and Chelsea kind
of like navigate through it. And then Jen in turn
started working on the radio show here and uh started off.
(02:58:45):
She actually was like literally had like a full career going,
but was like, this isn't what I want to do.
I've always wanted to do. This has history of working
in the entertainment business because her sisters worked in entertainment
for a long time. Her sister was actually Doctor Phil's
producer from Many Lives Still is Doctor Phil's pres Yes, yes,
that's wild. Jen Swala is visiting her family back here home,
(02:59:08):
all the family, and brought her beautiful son, which I
can't believe.
Speaker 38 (02:59:11):
How thirteen thirteen, Oh my god, thirteen quarterback?
Speaker 19 (02:59:18):
Great hair?
Speaker 2 (02:59:19):
Okay, you know here. He reminds me of a looks
like Joey's Joey's best friend growing up wash Or Luke's
best friend growing up was Dylan Rayola. He looks like Dylan.
You look a lot like Dylan who plays for Nebraska.
So all right, So Jen, real quick, I wanted to
I want to talk about this when you come home,
and you come back because Jen now works. For those
(02:59:40):
who don't know this, Jen now works with Ryan Seacrest.
What without without Ryan Seacrest, Ryan has nothing.
Speaker 7 (02:59:47):
Without Jane, Ryan without Jen without Ryan agree, actually without Ryan,
Ryan does have nothing.
Speaker 53 (02:59:56):
But without Jen, well, he is a you. We have
a huge team.
Speaker 2 (03:00:02):
Really we bigger than our team. They tell us our
team is big.
Speaker 53 (03:00:05):
We have we have a pretty big team.
Speaker 2 (03:00:06):
How many people are on the Ryan Seacrest.
Speaker 53 (03:00:08):
Show there used to be twenty two?
Speaker 6 (03:00:10):
Yeah, used to be Yeah.
Speaker 38 (03:00:15):
Now with all of the shows.
Speaker 53 (03:00:18):
Probably about twelve.
Speaker 2 (03:00:19):
Wow literally for a wow. Okay, so he's said and Ryan,
So Ryan's got uh, He's got the radio show that
he does live in uh uh Los Angeles for Kiss.
Then he has his radio show that he does on
all the iHeart stations that is like in mid days,
midday drive time Ryan what is it called? With Ryan Seacrest,
(03:00:42):
And then he does American Idol, he does Wheel of Fortunes.
Speaker 4 (03:00:45):
He does Top forty American Top forty Countdown.
Speaker 2 (03:00:49):
And he does the New Year's Countdown. I've seen the
promos already for that.
Speaker 53 (03:00:52):
You direct from Hollywood?
Speaker 2 (03:00:54):
Is he Telle? Yeah? Tell me? Is he ai?
Speaker 47 (03:00:58):
We know not?
Speaker 53 (03:00:59):
He is an incredible human being.
Speaker 2 (03:01:02):
Number one, that's awesome.
Speaker 38 (03:01:04):
He is so kind and probably one of the best talents,
one of like that I've ever worked with in all
of Los Angeles in New York.
Speaker 53 (03:01:16):
Yeah, that high level.
Speaker 2 (03:01:19):
Well, he's probably to me, it's to me, he's I
would rank Ryan Seacrest up as probably the five best
that has ever worked in entertainment, like like Dick Clark,
and he is, Yeah, he is at that level.
Speaker 38 (03:01:32):
And he's grounded, He keeps himself, he can people can
resonate with him. He really is grounded. Yeah, and he
can connect to me.
Speaker 2 (03:01:41):
It's weird that you know, you think about it, like
when you sink of Ryan Seacrest, Like, right, he's a
guy that would walk down the street and everybody would
go holy, you know, did I say it or no, Holy,
it's Ryan Seacrest And they would look at it and
they would see and they'd be like, holy crap. Like
he's like that big of a guy. Absolutely, but he
doesn't walk around like he's that big guy. Right.
Speaker 53 (03:02:03):
No, Yeah, he's incredibly grounded.
Speaker 2 (03:02:06):
Wow.
Speaker 19 (03:02:07):
Yeah, what do you do with Ryan?
Speaker 38 (03:02:09):
So I oversee the syndicated show American Top forty, the staff,
all of the branding, yeah and ads you know that
you guys do as well. I approve those and then
work with the staff content. I want to give Mark M.
(03:02:30):
Malinsky a shout out. Yeah, he's the EP of the
local Kiss morning show. He's incredible. Yeah, you know, Biata,
we have a great team.
Speaker 8 (03:02:40):
Okay, one more question from Yeah, how did they steal
you from Mojo?
Speaker 2 (03:02:44):
We Oh, she left to go to Phoenix, right to go?
Speaker 38 (03:02:49):
I left to go work for a radio station in Phoenix. Yeah,
it was an alternative station and they switch formats. So
I moved to l and got a job on the
Tyra Banks Show. Okay, and that's when I started my
TV career.
Speaker 53 (03:03:08):
And then fourteen thirteen years ago I went back to radio.
So cool when I had rock Jen.
Speaker 2 (03:03:15):
So by the way in Rocco. By the way, seriously,
you are way cooler than Ryan Seacrest and you're gonna
be Mom's future. So you better be throwing that ball
with a perfect spiral, right little post big magic. That's right. Yes,
the funny thing was with Jen was back in the day.
This radio show has evolved over time. Like I always
(03:03:37):
said that, we've kind of we've gone through the whole,
like you know, just starting off and then all of
a sudden starting to kind of like, okay, people are
starting to like us to the levels that you know,
we go to. Jen came into this and this was
kind of like your start of doing it, and Jen
brought to the show more knowledge to us from a
(03:04:00):
person because we used a perspective of her background, Like
you know, the idea of making the show more real
and less bitty was kind of the thing that we
did with you, so, which was actually really really cool.
But what else do you want to know about Ryan Seacqushian?
And do we know I need to know anything like that?
Speaker 7 (03:04:17):
I mean, I he posted a video over the weekend
of himself like working out.
Speaker 2 (03:04:20):
I saw that. Did you see my comment on the No?
Speaker 4 (03:04:23):
I did?
Speaker 53 (03:04:23):
It looks incredibly I.
Speaker 7 (03:04:26):
Mean, he's not working out himself. He's got somebody that
helps Ryan.
Speaker 2 (03:04:29):
Ryan says. Also, I'm about to feel bad about Ryan
wrote in this caption, he goes, don't he goes, don't
be fooled. I'm wearing a shirt that's two sizes too small,
and I wrote.
Speaker 4 (03:04:37):
On there it was muscles.
Speaker 2 (03:04:38):
I've always worn a shirt two sides.
Speaker 13 (03:04:42):
I don't know what I look.
Speaker 7 (03:04:46):
So does he give good holiday gifts for his staff?
Speaker 13 (03:04:50):
Is my question?
Speaker 53 (03:04:51):
Yes, of course he does. He is so generous.
Speaker 2 (03:04:54):
What's the biggest gift that he's ever given you guys
for a holiday game?
Speaker 38 (03:04:57):
I can't say that on Eric say it off so
Mojo hears you very very generous.
Speaker 2 (03:05:03):
Has he ever given anybody a car? Has he ever
done that at all?
Speaker 53 (03:05:07):
That I know of? But we don't know.
Speaker 2 (03:05:09):
She's not broadcasting.
Speaker 53 (03:05:10):
Yeah, she would never say it.
Speaker 2 (03:05:12):
This year, I'm giving Kevin a Rolex. He's getting a Rolex.
I got it. I got it off the streets and face. Actually,
I got I got him a fake or mez perse
from that guy at the summersecond. I'm gonna give it
to Josie. She knows the difference.
Speaker 19 (03:05:34):
She does.
Speaker 2 (03:05:35):
Can I say something about jen and this is not
me saying this in front of Roco. The other thing, too,
is she does this and is a mom and is
a great mom too, right, she treats. I don't know
how you do it. I don't know how Shannon. I
say this about Shannon all the time. I don't know
how Shannon deals with when the kids are sick and
then you have to do like you think about how
Ryan seacrest schedule is. She's got to keep Ryan seacrest
(03:05:57):
schedule together. And then Rocco gets sick or whatever the
deal is. Davida come in, look at you remember Davida.
Oh my god, Jim, you know see this. Everybody's good
and then uh, Bianca, Where did you run into Emily?
You saw Emily yesterday or this weekend?
Speaker 37 (03:06:14):
Yeah?
Speaker 35 (03:06:14):
I was at Somerset Mall, shopper around at Macy's, right
into Emily's.
Speaker 2 (03:06:17):
Emily Scholars in town. Everybody's in town. Yeah, that's right,
we're all coming back home.
Speaker 9 (03:06:25):
You know.
Speaker 2 (03:06:26):
My favorite thing with Thanksgiving always used to be going
back home because Detroit's my home, but Chicago's where I
grew up, was born and raised. I loved going back
to Orland Park, Illinois, going to Micky Doom's pub and
we'd hang out. That was like the Bowling Alley place
that we would all hang out and going and seeing
(03:06:46):
how fat everybody got. Now I'm doing a g LP
one or whatever it's called, and man, I hope I'm
the skinniest when I go back for the holidays this year.
So ain't only given? What is? Where is the place
the local place and that you would go to with
with your friends with the homies.
Speaker 6 (03:07:06):
Yeah, you might go to honest John's. We just used
to go to people's homes though, to be honest with you,
where was the grossyl place? Did you guys have like.
Speaker 4 (03:07:13):
A Dloyds dloids?
Speaker 13 (03:07:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:07:16):
What about White Lake.
Speaker 19 (03:07:17):
I feel like we went to overtime in Waterford?
Speaker 2 (03:07:20):
Okay, you ever went to Billy's tipping in?
Speaker 19 (03:07:23):
I mean not for that kind of vibe.
Speaker 2 (03:07:25):
I feel like cheese logs they have they ever see it? Seriously,
their cheese logs they have there. We're not trying to
eat all right. I got Jen Sowala. It's great to
have you back. I love that you're here and serious,
no joke. Jen is one of my closest friends in
this business, but out of this business too. Chelsea and
(03:07:45):
I love Jen like like literally, like she's a sister.
Speaker 53 (03:07:48):
So thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:07:49):
We're going to be right back. Look at this hold on.
Ryan's gonna get us to the break. Hey, guys, just
write Seacrest from American Idol and People of Detroit you
voted so more Mojo in the Morning coming up next.
Speaker 1 (03:08:01):
I don't know if I'm more thankful for family or
the food they'll be bringing over.
Speaker 4 (03:08:04):
Happy Thanksgiving from Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 9 (03:08:52):
How you doing, I'm all right, how are you? Good morning,
Good to talk to you.
Speaker 2 (03:08:56):
Good morning, Good to talk to you too. So when
was this date? How long ago was it?
Speaker 9 (03:09:02):
It was like a few weeks ago?
Speaker 2 (03:09:04):
Okay, So it's been a while since you guys have
talked or have you guys just been texting back and
forth or making a little conversation.
Speaker 51 (03:09:10):
No, it's been a while since we talked, even though
the date went well, So that's why it hence this call.
Speaker 2 (03:09:17):
Okay, So to you what did you guys do on
your date?
Speaker 9 (03:09:21):
All right, well, I'm kind of unconventional. We met on
grind her and so he just came over and we
hung out at my place.
Speaker 2 (03:09:28):
Okay, that's actually not that bad. That sounds like it
would be good. And yeah, everything went you thought great,
But now he's not communicating back with you. We're going
to find out what's going on. His name is Ryan,
Mikey say hi to Ryan.
Speaker 9 (03:09:44):
Oh, Ryan, Hey, what's up? How are you?
Speaker 22 (03:09:47):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (03:09:49):
I'm good, Ryan, what's happening? How are you? This is
Mojo And we got Shannon and Kevin and and everybody. Right,
good morning. What's going on? Ryan? And why are you
not calling Mikey back?
Speaker 22 (03:10:03):
I mean I don't know.
Speaker 9 (03:10:05):
It was kind of an awkward date.
Speaker 2 (03:10:09):
What was awkward?
Speaker 29 (03:10:11):
Well, I mean I went to his house and his
roommate was there, and I mean after we hook up,
I find out that his roommate is his ex boyfriend.
Speaker 2 (03:10:21):
Oh there we go. So Mikey, you live with your
ex boyfriend?
Speaker 30 (03:10:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 22 (03:10:28):
My ex?
Speaker 6 (03:10:29):
I mean, yeah, how how long ago did y'all break
it off?
Speaker 9 (03:10:37):
My god, we've been exes for my six months? Eight months?
Speaker 4 (03:10:41):
Oh that's not.
Speaker 8 (03:10:42):
Long are you just waiting until like a lease is up,
or why are you still living together?
Speaker 51 (03:10:47):
I mean yeah, I mean I don't think either of
us are in a place where like, oh we're gonna
go like live on our own and rent well quadruple like,
so we're just I mean, we will definitely reevaluate, but
we're like we alsought to cordial breakup or friends, Like it's.
Speaker 4 (03:11:02):
No more hooking up between you two?
Speaker 2 (03:11:04):
How is yeah? How well? How is it with you guys?
How is it with the two of you guys? Uh?
Bringing dates over?
Speaker 15 (03:11:11):
Like?
Speaker 2 (03:11:12):
Is that normal? Does he bring dates over? You bring
dates over?
Speaker 17 (03:11:16):
I mean it's not.
Speaker 51 (03:11:17):
Super common, but we're respectful of it, and like the
other one, you know, usually they're not. He happened to
be home then when Ryan came over. Usually there you know,
we try not to.
Speaker 7 (03:11:30):
Be Okay, I'm surprised you would have somebody over, I know,
but like not that I wouldn't call somebody back for
that reason if it was a good date. But it
does make for a kind of an awkward and uncomfortable situation.
The person you're no for, the person you're bringing into it.
Speaker 2 (03:11:49):
Yeah, yeah, Ryan, was there anything any communication between you
and Mikey's X or where you guys kind of keeping
to yourselves.
Speaker 22 (03:12:00):
We kind of give it ourselves.
Speaker 9 (03:12:02):
But I got the impression that he.
Speaker 22 (03:12:04):
The two of them are still hooking up. It was
so weird about it.
Speaker 2 (03:12:08):
How did you get that impression?
Speaker 22 (03:12:10):
Oh he had I don't know his room.
Speaker 29 (03:12:13):
They made some little comments, you know, you could just
tell something was there.
Speaker 22 (03:12:17):
It was it was nothing specific.
Speaker 29 (03:12:20):
But he was like, uh, how long are you going
to be here? He said something like that to me
at one point, are you staying tonight? Kind of questioning
me a little bit about it.
Speaker 2 (03:12:29):
Mikey, are you guys still occasionally or when's the last
time you guys have had xx?
Speaker 9 (03:12:36):
It's very rare. It's once in a while, but it's
still happening. Weakness, weakness.
Speaker 7 (03:12:49):
I appreciate the honesty, but I that would probably be
enough for me.
Speaker 6 (03:12:55):
I mean so in my mind right now, is like,
clearly it's an issue. But the same time, a lot
of other people do this. They just don't live with
their eggs. You can still have sex with your eggs,
they just live in a different zip.
Speaker 4 (03:13:05):
Call is that just makes it so easy.
Speaker 8 (03:13:08):
In It depends on how you frame this, Like what
did you say you were looking for Are you trying
to get in a relationship? Are you just trying to
have friends with benefits?
Speaker 2 (03:13:18):
What are you looking for at Ryan?
Speaker 29 (03:13:21):
I mean I'm looking for somebody that's months to be
in like a monogamous relationship with me, not that's also
sleeping with their roommate all the time or whatever it's going.
Speaker 51 (03:13:31):
I mean, Ryan, we had one date, like you know
what I mean, like once we were.
Speaker 9 (03:13:35):
If we were ever exclusive, of course I.
Speaker 51 (03:13:36):
Wouldn't hook up with my ex, but like on date one,
like we're both singles that like we're going on one.
Speaker 9 (03:13:41):
Day, you know what I mean?
Speaker 51 (03:13:42):
Like I don't care what you did it before you
know it's we met each other, Like you have to
give me a hind's it's.
Speaker 2 (03:13:50):
Awkward, could you? Mikey?
Speaker 29 (03:13:52):
Could I don't want to go over your place with
your roommates there looking at me and making lit comments.
Speaker 2 (03:13:56):
By the way, when you say roommate, I wouldn't even
just call it roommate. I'd say your ax there, because
it's more than just a roommate. Mikey, are you willing
if you got into a relationship with somebody, and maybe
even Ryan, are you willing to call off anything that
you would have with your your ax.
Speaker 9 (03:14:16):
I am, I am?
Speaker 51 (03:14:18):
I mean first of all, one like when the leases up,
will reconsider even living together, first of all, and then
I would definitely experience I would consider.
Speaker 2 (03:14:27):
You know, I get the whole. It's a first day thing.
Speaker 6 (03:14:29):
But sometimes you see red flags that are immediate and
you say, why do I even want to pursue this?
Like why would I even need to go any further?
There's a thousand fish out there. You living with your
ex boyfriend, y'all still smashed, and like, I didn't have
that good enough of time where I want.
Speaker 7 (03:14:43):
To pursue this, And maybe you guys are very compatible.
The timing's just really bad.
Speaker 2 (03:14:46):
Evelyn, what's up? You wanted to comment on this? Would
you want to say? Yes?
Speaker 23 (03:14:51):
First of all, six months they should not even be
still have a six.
Speaker 14 (03:14:54):
I think they're trying to find a third today, trying
for they get going.
Speaker 2 (03:14:58):
On there to try.
Speaker 23 (03:15:00):
And instead of expect, they trying to have third.
Speaker 17 (03:15:04):
Six with each other and somebody. You know, good morning guys.
Speaker 2 (03:15:09):
I never even thought about that. I never thought about Ryan.
Does that make you feel a little weird? To Aaron
Evelyn say that she thinks that there's like a level
of maybe they want to bring you in.
Speaker 9 (03:15:23):
God, I hope not. I I just like he said,
what did what did he say?
Speaker 29 (03:15:27):
He was he'd reconsider living with you know what?
Speaker 7 (03:15:32):
When he said that, that that.
Speaker 22 (03:15:34):
Out of my head.
Speaker 2 (03:15:35):
Yeah, you know it's wild. I'm trying to think of
this in a relationship. Second, that's not a I'm trying
to think. I'm trying to think of this in like
a heterosexual relationship. Like if there was a guy and
a girl and you were living with your acts, Like
as a guy, if I went to the girl's house,
would I feel weird seeing that? Absolutely?
Speaker 7 (03:15:56):
So I think this Actually, this is not uncommon in
divorced situations where you know, a husband and wife get
divorced and they can't afford to have separate living spaces
at the moment. So I'm sure that this is this
has happened many times before.
Speaker 2 (03:16:11):
Eight four to four Mojoe Live eight four four six
six five sixty five four eight. Text is nine five
five zero zero and you can text call me if
you got a comment that you want to say to
this one. But my question, I guess I would ask
the listeners as they're listening to this, would you have
the same feelings that Ryan has of this is not comfortable?
And are there any people that would say, hey, it's
(03:16:33):
tough out there and it's tough to get out of
release that this is just something that is going to
come for just a short period of time. Uh, Mikey,
I want to ask you one quick question about meeting
Ryan and how much you really enjoyed being with him,
being with him on this date. Could you see this
relationship being better than the relationship with your ex who
(03:16:57):
you live with?
Speaker 22 (03:17:00):
That is that for me?
Speaker 49 (03:17:01):
Yeah, Mikey, Yeah, okay, sorry, okay, yeah, yes, yeah, this
is why I called we.
Speaker 9 (03:17:09):
Had a great first date?
Speaker 2 (03:17:10):
Was better looking? Who's better looking?
Speaker 16 (03:17:13):
Okay?
Speaker 51 (03:17:15):
I am on the radio, so I'm going to say,
you know, I can't.
Speaker 9 (03:17:19):
No, no, I'm going to say.
Speaker 2 (03:17:20):
Come on, you got your AX. Could be listening and Mikey, Mikey, no, no, no, no,
no no no no. Ryan doesn't want to be draw,
He doesn't want He wants to.
Speaker 22 (03:17:29):
Know is hot?
Speaker 3 (03:17:32):
Right?
Speaker 37 (03:17:32):
I say?
Speaker 9 (03:17:33):
Ryan?
Speaker 22 (03:17:33):
Ryan?
Speaker 10 (03:17:33):
Ryan?
Speaker 2 (03:17:34):
So Ryan is hotter than now you got to live
with the guy that you just said is not as hot? Uh?
Speaker 51 (03:17:41):
I know, Well I need to stop living with him?
Speaker 2 (03:17:43):
Clearly, what's your living situation? Ryan, do you have an
opportunity for like if you could get in a relationship
with Mikey, Like, why would you not? First off, Mikey,
you should have gone back to Ryan's place and not
gone to place on that one. That was a huge
That was a huge mistake, Brad, What did you want
to say? It's Mojoe on in the morning.
Speaker 13 (03:18:01):
Hi, Hey, how you guys doing, good morning?
Speaker 2 (03:18:04):
What's happening?
Speaker 47 (03:18:06):
I just said, with the with the thing that Shannon
said as well about you know, this situation happening when
you're with your ex or not necessarily with your ex.
Speaker 9 (03:18:14):
But living together.
Speaker 47 (03:18:15):
Yeah, then they should go to the other person's house.
Speaker 9 (03:18:17):
They shouldn't bring them back.
Speaker 2 (03:18:18):
I said, yeah, you were you called in? You called
in at a time when I was just saying the
exact same thing, like, what a stupid big dummies to
do that? What's going on? Beyonca?
Speaker 3 (03:18:27):
Hi?
Speaker 23 (03:18:29):
Hi, I'm calling because I also was in the same situation.
I'm where I was dating while living with my ex.
The lease was up in December and I didn't move. However,
but we weren't we weren't having any thing going on though, like, no.
Speaker 2 (03:18:47):
Would you have to explain that to people? And what
was the reaction of people that you go on dates with?
Speaker 23 (03:18:54):
Honestly, I don't know. I feel like some people may
think that it's a live though. I don't know. Some
people get her maybe get a you know, a kick
out of saying I'm with somebody else this you know
person or something.
Speaker 2 (03:19:08):
But I know, but when you went on dates living
here with your acts, did you tell did you tell
the dates hey, I still live with my axe or
did you just keep it quiet?
Speaker 20 (03:19:17):
Oh?
Speaker 15 (03:19:17):
No, I told him?
Speaker 2 (03:19:18):
And how did they react?
Speaker 23 (03:19:21):
So they just really wanted to know if it was
fiercely over or like what we were doing.
Speaker 17 (03:19:26):
I'm like, no, it's like it's over.
Speaker 9 (03:19:28):
We sleep in different.
Speaker 23 (03:19:29):
Rooms and everything, so, you know, but I can if
you're in the lease, you can't you can't get out
get a place somewhere else, especially if you're not making
a lot of money at the time, like you have
to already make a lot to live.
Speaker 2 (03:19:44):
You know, you respect for saying something, because I think
a lot of people would have done what Mikey did
and kept it quiet and that sort of thing. Toya,
what's up, toyo?
Speaker 17 (03:19:52):
Hey, y'alls been a minute.
Speaker 2 (03:19:54):
It was going, what's going on? Toya?
Speaker 27 (03:19:56):
Hey?
Speaker 23 (03:19:57):
What's up?
Speaker 20 (03:19:58):
Hey?
Speaker 52 (03:19:58):
I was gonna say that my coworker did this. He
was living with his ex and they had a house
together and a camper, and they had to wait till
they went through like a refinance to get out.
Speaker 16 (03:20:10):
Of the house.
Speaker 52 (03:20:11):
So to Shannon's point, like, it does happen, for sure,
but I feel like I wouldn't be that comfortable if
I was in that situation because I'll be coming over
looking real side out.
Speaker 17 (03:20:21):
Like who is this up in here?
Speaker 16 (03:20:23):
I'm coming over?
Speaker 17 (03:20:24):
Yeah, what's up?
Speaker 2 (03:20:24):
Did your coworker ever make his acts go into camper
at that point?
Speaker 17 (03:20:33):
Okay, listen because I asked, Well, I didn't ask, but
I thought about the same thing.
Speaker 16 (03:20:37):
I ain't want to know.
Speaker 17 (03:20:39):
Hey, Mojo, can I say one thing real quick?
Speaker 2 (03:20:41):
Please?
Speaker 17 (03:20:42):
Hey keVs, I'll I've been watching on YouTube the last
few weeks and you've been looking kind of.
Speaker 16 (03:20:46):
Good on my baby.
Speaker 17 (03:20:47):
So whatever you're doing, keep.
Speaker 19 (03:20:48):
It up, keep it up.
Speaker 1 (03:20:50):
I love you.
Speaker 6 (03:20:51):
I got a question for you too, though, did you
did you and this coworker ever go out at all?
Speaker 9 (03:20:58):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (03:20:58):
No, he's gay?
Speaker 2 (03:21:04):
Shane? What's up? Shane? Good last call on this one,
so make it kind of quick. What's going on? You
are just playing simple?
Speaker 11 (03:21:13):
Not ready to be dating, Like, get your life together
and for.
Speaker 2 (03:21:17):
Somebody maybe maybe not bring them back to your house especially,
but yeah that's together. Yeah interesting. Thanks Shane the eggs
walking and keeps it with draws on like this my house.
Speaker 28 (03:21:32):
This is the home of a dirty on the thirty
second Date update and this is Mojo.
Speaker 1 (03:21:39):
In the morning.
Speaker 2 (03:21:39):
Tomorrow morning on the show is our big Thanksgiving meal
for our listeners, giving thanks for all them. Thank you
to Rochester Banquets, Thank you to Kroger. Everybody's leaving with
a Kroger meal, so they're going to go home with
a turkey, go home with a gift card. Can I
give out a quick quick thank you real quick as
(03:22:00):

Speaker 35 (03:22:01):
We know if you're sick now TVD.
Speaker 8 (03:22:03):
But thank you to the listener that had a two
liter of Berners sent to the studio for me. I
know how sweet is that after I said I didn't
feel good? That's super sweet.
Speaker 19 (03:22:12):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (03:22:13):
That is so nice. See that. I'm telling you, guys,

(03:22:35):
Bernald I'm sorry, I got to turn your mic. Cont
There you go, living motive turkey trot is the turkey
trot the guys, but live turkeys are doing the turkey trot.
Speaker 19 (03:22:44):
I heard Jamir Gibbler is racing.
Speaker 2 (03:22:47):
Oh really, yes, That's what I'm putting my money on.
We can get three hundred yards in that game.
Speaker 43 (03:22:52):
