I want to start off the morning by getting an
update from Bianca on what you might have heard during

our warm up show. But you definitely heard if you
were listening to the show yesterday or listen to our
podcast yesterday.

Bianca met the parents, Yes I did.

It was actually a great night. It went really good,
way better than I was even expecting it to ya, Honestly,
I think the only part which is a little nerve
wrecking in the beginning. But after that, after we got
in the car we started driving around, it was all great,
let's go to the I brought the nothing bunk cakes

and the flowers. I was supposed to be there at
three forty five, but of course I'm keldy, and so
I ended up getting there at like four fifteen.

What a horrible first impression?

And where is there?

Because I know we didn't know if you were riding
all together, if you were.

So I met at the house and then we all
got in the car and then we drove to the Rochester.

in my car and we just like walked to his

They were waiting for her, Like where's this bitch? Where
we got somewhere to go?

But they loved the little bunk cakes I got them.
We drove to the restaurant and it was like a
good sushi place. It was really good. It was really good.
His dad ordered me like all the gluten free stuff,
the veggie stuff because I have all these allergies. So
he was so nice.

Dad started doing the ordering. That's how you order at
a sushi place.

He ever remembered that you had an allergy.

Maybe you should date the dad.

Because he has a wife who was beautiful.

my hands. But the mom didn't give me a talk.

She wrot me to the side with the sisters. He's
like me, the mom and the sister, okay, like the dad.
And she was kind of giving me the talk, and
I was like, yes, of course, I'm very serious about it.
But yeah, it was good. I kind of felt like
I was already part of their family.

But let's go back to the bomb. I've got two

I do have a question about the mom, because didn't
she tell you that she had like sixty questions to

Honestly, I didn't even notice him like he was. I
didn't talk to him. He was very quiet. It was
like meeting all the talking with the family. I barely
recognized him. But speaking of man friends, can I.

you speak a man friend, Shannon, You know I know
Mom and Dad, yes, and they're very nice people. Well,
Dad said this is not for post, but he didn't
say I couldn't show you guys. He sent me this
picture of the car ride. This is the this is

Mom is stunning, sister sister in the middle between both
of us.

a rear view mirror and see to dad just staring

there too. He said, I just want to make this clear.
You guys are only going to be friends, and I'm
only going to refer you as his friend until you
guys get married down the road if that ever happens. Like, wow,
boyfriend girlfriend is not a thing.

It's very a very cultural thing.

Yeah, it is, because my mom does the same thing,
and I always thought she was silly for it, but
I see other families do it. It actually makes sense.
But while we were at the event too, we saw
Glenda Lewis from Channel seven. I saw her.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
She has is the kindest human being. She's like, actually good.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Well. The other thing with her too, is that she's
a she's a super fan of the show too.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
Yes, so exactly. So I introduced her. I saw her.
I was like, oh, my gosh, Hi, I'm Bianca. This
is my friend Bryce, And she said, that is now
your friend. I listened to the show. I know everything
about you and everything about him. So I was like, oh, really,
she said, this is the guy you've been talking about
on the rate you and I just put it too
and two together.

What did his uh his parents say with that?

How did she know that? How did she know because
they introduced me to her as Bryce's friend.

It's like that's friend.

She's I love by the way, I love Glende. And
she texts all the time like she'll hears things on
the show. She's prayed for Chelsea, like she loves this
this radio show. We should maybe see if we can

I want to know because I feel like I did

So full disclosure. Dad called while they were in the
car yesterday to me, No.

He sent me the text and then I called, all right,
you're right, and I so I'm talking to him, and
I do think that it's interesting. He does talk differently
to me now that Beyonca is part of the picture
than he used to before. Well, he's a little bit
more I would say, polished, you know what I mean,
Like he's he's a little bit more daddy, you know
what I mean. Like usually it's like, you know, we're buddies,

so it's like hey, you always like, hey, man, what's
going on you We're talking stuff like that, Not that
you know, not that he's lost any of his fun,
but he can tell that.

He's a little uncomfortable with the situation.

But I will say this, he and I are talking,
and I said, sounds to me like the girls are
all talking there. You all you heard in the background
was Bianca, mom, sister, Bianca mom, sister, sister, Bianca, Bianca.

So yesterday we had a big portion of our conversation
was about you being comfortable being who you are and
not necessarily showing it as your representative. Yes, did we
get a lot of Bianca or was it the tone
down Bianca?

No, I think there's a lot of And we talked
about that too after the car. I feel like I
was definitely myself. Obviously I'm not going crazy screaming around
in the streets, but I was doing boggy in the
middle of main Street that let's go on the street.
We're just like dancing.

And what did they do when you did that? They're like,
We're not doing that, Okay next time. But I feel
like my personality came out. But it was a perfect
amount of like relaxed calmness.

But did you guys hold hands around them or any
sort of PD but normally you would do that, Yeah.

Like it was just the two of you. I guess
we hold hands, but I've never.

I I like that this is happening. I think that

I didn't take any pictures with him. I took pictures
with his family the whole time. And it looks like, honestly,
I could be like your other.

But a family from Monroe went to see the Jonas
Brothers when they were in town at Little Caesar's Arena
Sunday night, enjoy the show, come out after the show,
realize their car had been stolen and along with it
all of their kids' Christmas gifts that were inside.

And then this is just kind of it's hard. They're
behind now.

Speaker 18 (16:25):
Like many hard working parents fiances Arthur Swazing and Apollonia
Cizarus just wanted a night to themselves Sunday, and what
better opportunity than the Jonas Brothers concert at Little Caesar's Arena.
They drove all the way from Monroe for their fun
night out, parked right here on the street on East
Elizabeth around five pm and got some dinner before heading
down to LCA for the seven thirty show. But when

they came back around eleven thirty pm, nothing.

Started walking back, and then we were like, well, we're
going to be parking. We're like, we know, we parked
over here somewhere.

They're twenty fourteen. All of green Ford Edge had been stolen.
And not only is it the Face family's only mode
of transportation to work and school for their three children,
it's also the only way Swazing has been able to
get to his doctor's appointments after recently finding out some
life altering news.

That's my a to b to gets it all the
way to Anne Harbor for my health. You know, I
was diagnosed with through now South Carsonoma.

I got three kids. I'm trying to stay on top
of everything that i can. Just it's all I can do.

In that car was also Cizarre's purse and wallet, a
car seat, and hidden in the trunk the children's Christmas presents.

Early Christmas shopping.

Yeah, trying to get it done and sneak it from
them because you know they want to be sneaky.

The children had to miss school Monday while mom and
dad stayed with a family member in Detroit as they
continue figuring out next steps.

I mean, now I can't even it to work, and
that's how we could pay pay pills.

Speaker 18 (17:52):
Detroit police are investigating, and with big crowds coming down
to the city Thursday for all the Thanksgiving Day festivities,
the department wants to mind everyone of some tips. Don't
leave any valuables in your car, and be sure to
lock up. Make sure to park in a well lit area,
and if you're parking in a parking lot, make sure
it's a valid one with tenants watching over your vehicle

so no other family has to deal with something like
this right before the holidays.

That's terrible.

If if anybody knows information about this family, or if
that family is listening, please call us. We would love
to try to help you and see what we can
do to hopefully get your car back. But I would
hope that with the amount of cameras that we have
in the city, that there's some ability to be able
to find who did this, and hopefully they have a
heart and they can give them back their Christmas gifts

in their car. But a horrible thing. And you know
they said it'll park in in well lit lots and
all that stuff. The problem is the well lit lots
are fifty bucks or whatever at game time or show
time for this Jonas Brothers, and there's no affordable parking
in the city. Yesterday, I just wanted to go and
run a couple of errands and going in and just

parking in a lot was going to cost me twenty
five bucks. I mean, it's like ridiculous that we don't
have affordable ability to be able to park around the city.

I do believe though that obviously this is an incredibly
terrible situation, and not that it ever is a good
time for bad stuff to happen, But I truly believe
that sometimes terrible things have to happen in order for
a good thing to happen. And I feel like with
their story being brought out there, this is probably going
to be the best holiday that they could have ever imagined.
It just had to come on the tail off something ridiculous.

And we're getting information right now about the family. I
know that they set up a GoFundMe page, and we're
going to use that opportunity to be able to to
also make some donations. Right now, they've raised twenty one
hundred dollars, has been raised for the family and Bianca.

An increasing job, all right, So please and if you

Former First Lady Michelle Obama recently posted excuse me, a
behind the scenes clip from a photo shoot with famed
photographer Annie Libovitz. And the first thing everybody notices is
this why you're gasping?

You know what I'm gonna say. You don't know who
that is?

Okay, she's like super She's been super famous place forever
and whatever. Anyway, everyone notices she is skinnier and toned
more so than normal, because I think she always looks great.
But the post sparked some social media chatter, with some
people speculating and being very vocal about the fact that, oh,

she's got to using ozembek or govi or zep bound
or something to shed some pounds.

Obviously, she's not speaking out.

She has not spoken out if that's the case, but
she has talked very openly in the past about dealing
with weight gain during perimenopause, menopause and focusing on healthy
habits at this stage in her life, like eating well, exercising,
and staying on top of doctor's visits.

As the holidays stopping seasoned gears up, consumers are planning
to spend less during Black Friday and Cyber Monday than
they did last year for the first time in four years.
Recent survey found that the average consumer is expected to
spend about six hundred and twenty two dollars this weekend,
which is about four percent lower than last year. And

the big reason I don't think this is surprising to
anybody higher living costs or forcing people to cut back.

Everything is so darn expensive.

Here's the surprise twist to this. Even though people plan
to spend less, eighty two percent, they will be shopping
during the upcoming holiday weekend, which is up from last

a waste this year.

accept her body, and they have their coffin and they

she had passed away at home, so she was rushed
to the hospital at that point instead of going to

see and my sister Mary Joe makes the best stuffing.

think that as a significant other, it's not making you

recipes that obviously my sister didn't start that recipe.

that happened this morning that I wanted to bring up

you it's kind of a funny story. So in the morning,
I always go every single morning on my way into work,
I go to the Starbucks that's over I think it's

out like Southfield or whatever it's off of or Northwestern
Highway and Franklin Road or something like that, and I
get a coffee and I get my egg white bites.
Every day I pull up to the speaker system and
I pre order it, like at five am when they
first open. I pull up at five o three and
they go, hey, maw Joe, pull around. Actually like it,
same people every single day. Well, today I pull up

to the window and the girl that's there says, hey,
how are you? And she's always really upbeat and stuff,
and I say, hey, so what are you doing for Thanksgiving?
And she said something to me that I didn't know
how to react to. She said, well, I'm doing nothing.
I'm by myself. And I said, what's going on, and
she goes I was supposed to go back to West

Virginia to go visit my family, but I'm working on
Thanksgiving and it's too hard for me to go back
and stuff, so I'm going to be by myself. So
for a moment there, I thought, you know what, I'm
going to invite her to my Thanksgiving. I'm going to
tell her to come on over with me in the ks.

Well, I've done this.

I've done this in the past. I've done it where
I've invited random people, everybody from the radio station to
honestly somebody that I would meet out. And honestly, I'm
not inviting I don't think anybody that's going to like
kill us. I'm really good. The problem with this one
was this girl is actually really attractive. She's like twenty
something years old and very very hot. Okay, I did

not invite her to my house.

Because I know if I bring her. First off, I
say Chelse. Because I've done this in the past with Chelsea,
where I've invited people over. We've even did it as
a joke where we called her and said, guess who's
coming to Thanksgiving?

And I remember we did don Theodore. I remember it
was Don Theodore and his kids and stuff.

So I can just picture the doorbell ringing and me saying, Chelse,
I invited the girl from Starbucks over, the lady from
Starbucks over. I would probably not call her a girl,
because I would call her a lady. I invited this
woman from Starbucks over, and she'd ring the doorbell. We
would open the door and there's like a twenty two
years hair.

And I am wiser now as I've gotten older in
the past. I would you know, I think nothing of it.
I think, why would she think anything dirty about that?
I am a nice, honest, Catholic boy. I'm not you

You talk about it enough to know that you shouldn't
do it.

So I thought about it enough to realize now that
I've gotten myself burned before and off of doing that
of you know, hey, you got to meet this person,
and next thing you know, Chelsea ses this, you know,
beautiful model or something. So I would like you guys
to do me a favor. Will you go to the
Starbus on the Northwestern Highway and invite.

So I do always love hearing stories about the random
people that whomever's hosting Thanksgiving invite, And I honestly I
love those stories of like the people that didn't have
anywhere to go, so you know, all of a sudden,
it's the cashier at Kroger that shows up for Thanksgiving.

This viral thing going around on social media. I want
to say it happened a couple of years ago, but
a grandmother was trying to send a text to someone.
She accidentally sent it to a very young man and
they've been doing Thanksgiving together ever since. I wanted.

I think it's like ten years ago, past ten years.

It honestly is one of the cutest stories around that
they became friends off of the random thing. That could

people's names, Like I kind of have an idea, like

would have Thanksgiving or our big night was Christmas Eve.

champion soccer and basketball player, and I asked him, I said,
