Speaker 1 (00:01):
Mojo.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Think God, let me take that back to the beginning.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
This is alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
You're a do ahead, all right, Mojo in the Morning show,
Shannon had an adult temper tank.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Is anybody in this room surprised?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
No? Never, what's the reason?

Speaker 4 (00:37):
Okay, so if you and keV maybe you don't even
already know this because you're a newer to the show,
and you definitely don't.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
But I had stop becoming the show words words, So
hopefully I haven't done it in the time from now
to the time when you first behavior.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I kind of have.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
I have, but I have a really short fuse when
it comes to my temper. Thanks to my dad, the
legendary Tim Murphy. He has the same short fuse and
I have passed it down to my daughter Lucy. Anyway,
Wes and I were working out at the gym and
I was I do what Wes tells me to do.
So he takes me over to this machine and he's like, Okay,
you're going to do this triceps workout and you're going
to pull down this bar and whatever, change the weight

(01:18):
to whatever makes sense for you. Okay, Well, it's a
stack of weights, and then there's a little pin that
you have to pull out and put it in. You know,
however much weight you have, this dang pin, once I
pulled it out, would not go back in for the
life of me and I it was just so frustrating
to me.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
So I took my foot and I was like, TI
kicking the dang.

Speaker 3 (01:42):
Thing to go into the stack of weights.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I swear to you, I'm pretty dang sure I broke
my pinky toe in the process, because it is black
and blue and very swollen at this point.

Speaker 3 (01:53):
And so Wes walks over and he's like, what are
you Now?

Speaker 1 (01:56):
May you do?

Speaker 4 (01:56):
And I can see you having a temper tantrum from
across the gym, and I said, I can't get the
dang pin into the weights, and he like pushed down
the top one and he's like, that's because you have
to do this.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I'm like, oh my god.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
And it wasn't until I got home and took off
my shoe and I thought I broke I'm pretty sure
I did, or at least bruised my tote really bad,
because I had a hissy fit about it.

Speaker 6 (02:19):
Just kicking and going crazy.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
I mean, thank God, there weren't that many people at
the gym at the time, because I'm sure people were
staring at me, going that woman over there has totally
lost her damn mind.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Don't you hate when then somebody comes right over and
does it and it's easy, like how West did. But
it's like simple, like hey, can I you know?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
And then you literally took his index finger and he goes.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
You just need to fish that damn one you needed.
If you're that person, if you're West in that time,
you have to not make it look so easy, even
though you want to just to embarrass you. You have
to make it hold on. There must be something wrong
with this, otherwise it makes it worse.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
When you guys get frustrated with a certain them, do
you take out your frustration on the item, like it's
gonna it's gonna hurt because you're mad at it, Like
that's what I did to this stupid machine.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I've thrown my cell phone a couple of times, and
I realized that's an expensive thing. Yeah, you get so
pissed you can't get a connection or something, or it's
not working.

Speaker 7 (03:18):
You see these people on TikTok and they call it
a what do they call it rage or something just
like I cause it where they lose a game, video
game and they throw their controller.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Oh yeah, and then it's like, well now I have
nothing to play.

Speaker 4 (03:28):
Yeah, you expect that behavior from a child. Do any
of your kids have that kind of attempt.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Lucy does? That's what I said, Lucy, she gets it
right from you.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
It was it's my dad myself and LuSE got it too.
Where her her uses real short.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Luke used to go through remote all the time. He
used to go through uh PlayStation remote. Oh my god,
he would he would throw those damn things, and man,
you could hear him there screaming, mother, you think is
going on? Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four
six six five sixty five four eight.

Speaker 6 (03:59):
I have ever had an adult temper tantrum?

Speaker 8 (04:02):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
At these radio studios? Computer laptop? Yeah, one time? Did
he ever throw a stapler for some reason? I'm hearing
staple a stapler against a wall one time, and it's
stabled into the wall. Back in the day, it used
to be that we would not play things digitally. It
would be that you'd have them on like CDs or

(04:26):
they used to be called cartridges. And I remember way
back When I first got into radio, I would throw carts,
not realizing there were no backups to whatever it was.
So there were times where you would have, like say,
for instance, the biggest song is like a Taylor Swift song.
I'd get so pissed off that the thing wasn't working
or whatever, and I'd take it and throw it and
break it. And there'd be like days you wouldn't hear

(04:47):
Taylor Swift on the radio because it should be on
a million pieces to be all over the place.

Speaker 9 (04:55):
You know.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
As funny as you talk about adulta temper tantrums and
having these things, I think it's more you would think
a guy thing. But I don't think women get called
out for their adult temper tantrums. Lydia's got some of them.

Speaker 10 (05:06):
Oh yeah, I have them all the time.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Lydia is a crazy Caldian. Oh my gosh, that's most
recent one.

Speaker 11 (05:12):
What what do you like? What do you see or
what have you seen that I'm from you.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
The studio here, Like in the studios you get really pissed.
I've seen you get a little a little uh fired up.
You don't think that we see you on video, but
I you know, I can see you on video.

Speaker 10 (05:27):
Okay, that's fine too. I mean you can watch me.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I can see you in there, and you get pissed. Honestly,
when the listener calls weird, does.

Speaker 10 (05:33):
You see me?

Speaker 12 (05:34):
I don't know, but I can see her. She gets
pissed at.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Me a lot. First off, if I literally peek around
the corner, you know, I can see what you guys
are doing in that other room all the time. And
when I'm down in Tampa doing it, I see everybody.
That's a fact that whole time. I can see all
the time. First off, there's something about the people that
sit on that side of the control boards because I
can see them not paying attention and shopping or on
their their computers calvs, watching video games, something, shopping or

(06:00):
doing something because I know she's not doing research for.

Speaker 8 (06:02):
The show always.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Yeah, I can see you guys over there in that
other room too, talking about everybody in this room.

Speaker 6 (06:09):
What's up, Jamie? How you doing? I'm good and you good?

Speaker 1 (06:14):
You share the adult temper tantrum and what was your
last adult temper tantrum about?

Speaker 13 (06:20):
Okay, so my daughter stroller. It was kind of new
to me, so I still didn't know how to open it.
And I thought it only had one last I tried
to open, it wouldn't open. I got really mad and
I started throwing it across the street.

Speaker 14 (06:32):
I'll pick bed up, throw it again.

Speaker 13 (06:34):
And after throwing it a couple of times and looking
crazy to the neighbor, I picked it up and I said, Okay,
I'm gonna look at it, and I realized there was
another Las on the other side.

Speaker 4 (06:45):
Strollers, do you remember the strollers are so complicated. I
remember so I had this this brand up a baby
when Lucy was a baby, and my mom would babysit
for me, and she could never figure out how to
fold the dang thing back down.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
So I would come home at the end of the
day and it would be she did.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
She just shove it in the car like not even
not even broken down because she never knew how to
do it.

Speaker 6 (07:07):
Jamie.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
The other thing that would be frustrating as a parent
too was trying to when you would have somebody take
the baby and you'd have to move car seats, get
the car seats in right, and you'd be I remember
coming home one time and my kid practically wasn't even
in a car seat. I couldn't get the thing to
go between you hurt your fingers and stuff. Oh my god,

(07:32):
it would drive you crazy.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I probably threw a car seat or two.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
What's that?

Speaker 10 (07:37):
Someone gave her a number to an insurance company and
they're calling it Hello?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Who is this? Hell?

Speaker 15 (07:43):
I'm Michayla Wilson calling from acucoat on the line that
may rerecorded.

Speaker 6 (07:48):
Mine's recording to Is this who?

Speaker 8 (07:52):
Guinnis Dennis Guinness.

Speaker 6 (07:57):
Guinness like Guinness beer.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Guinness can.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Now Guinness Kanaboski does not live here anymore. He just moved.
Would you like his new number?

Speaker 16 (08:10):
Do you have one for him?

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Yeah? Hold on, let me look it up, because I
got I got his number two. No, I don't have
his number. I'm sorry. I apologize. He did not give
us a forty number. By the way, whoever knows Kennis
Kanaboski tell.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
Him about that.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
I'm about to have an adult temper tantrumize his ass
that name is about his fake is the number he
gave her? I would rather have, honestly, I would rather
have the calls from the girl or the guys that
you meet in a bar, you know that give out numbers,
or you give out a number to a guy.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
Ever had that at all.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Like the fake number if you ever have it, where
you give a number out to a guy and you
want your number, give up our request line numbered eight
four four, But tell tell him that you only answer
the calls between.

Speaker 6 (09:05):
What's up, Carrie, how you doing?

Speaker 17 (09:07):
Hey, I'm good, how are you?

Speaker 18 (09:09):
First time?

Speaker 19 (09:09):
Long time?

Speaker 20 (09:15):
So?

Speaker 17 (09:16):
So, my ax always had adult temper tantrums.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Really, what was the craziest thing? He would get a
pissed all pissed off.

Speaker 21 (09:23):
You know.

Speaker 17 (09:23):
We were on vacation one year, and I mean this
was before you know map you know maps on the
phone and stuff, So we actually had an at liss.

Speaker 22 (09:33):
That we had with us.

Speaker 17 (09:34):
We were in Washington, D C. And if you've ever
driven there, it's crazy anyway, But we were in a
turn lane and he kept asking me where to go,
and I'm like, I don't know, I can't tell you,
And he finally grabbed the map out of my hand,
threw it out the window, and then jumped out of
our little pinto.

Speaker 6 (09:56):
Really many really do.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
You remember does any do any of you guys? Are
you guys way too young for this? Do you remember?

Speaker 6 (10:03):
Map?

Speaker 1 (10:03):
Quest? Of course you would have to print it out,
That's what this was like because yours is way back
carry like when you guys would actually have a full on.

Speaker 23 (10:11):
Map, and it was it was insane, and you know,
and there was like map one way in three lanes
coming in the other way and my two year old
was in the backseat.

Speaker 8 (10:23):
And he was nuts.

Speaker 6 (10:25):
Yeah, it was crazy.

Speaker 17 (10:26):
And and I get it.

Speaker 23 (10:27):
I you know, that was just the wrong way to
handle it.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
It's funny that we used to drive with like a
map quest, because it's amazing that we can't text and
drive now, but we would do map quest looking at
a piece of paper front us.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Trying to figure turn that your map quest told you
you were screwed because there was no rerouting.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Yeah, what's up, Rick, how you doing?

Speaker 24 (10:48):
Good morning crew?

Speaker 6 (10:50):
How you doing? What was your adult temper tantrum?

Speaker 24 (10:53):
Like?

Speaker 6 (10:54):
I was putting a.

Speaker 25 (10:57):
Stretcher together and I couldn't.

Speaker 26 (10:59):
Get closed properly.

Speaker 12 (11:01):
I took them out, staffed them and sent every single
one of the drawers.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
It's funny the way that you close it is you
close it extra hard, right, you try to slam that thing.

Speaker 24 (11:13):
I literally took the drawers out and set my fists
through the.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Bottle of Oh my god, Yeah, don't mess. Putting things
together is the worst. I used to have a hard
hard time. Chelsea would have adult temper tantrum. She would
put all the Christmas gifts together for the kids, and
I'll never forget one of those power wheels and her

(11:37):
putting that thing together, and it was like the craziest
you put it all together. And then finally at the end,
like yours, where you couldn't get the door on, the
doors were the opposite side, so you put them on,
and you're like, I think it's supposed to go to
the opposite way in your past the entire time. All right,
rick we'll talk to you later, Buddy, y'all have a
good gake. We'll see you, Tricky, Ricky the your turkey

(12:01):
be moist and nobody used that word to describe it.
Happy Thanksgiving. From Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Channel and iHeartRadio station.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
It's time for more Mojo Mojo in the Morning, let's do.

Speaker 6 (12:16):
A round of would you.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Okay, here's a round of would you and listeners can
call in with their comments on this if they want
to or their would you's all right? Would you rather
tell your darkest secrets to your boss or your parents?
Buss what's my darkest secret? Though? Oh, I would say

(12:39):
my parents.

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Would you?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Obviously you'd rather tell them because you feel more comfortable, right,
So yeah'n tell my parents over Tony Travado? Yeah, yeah,
what about you, lydia Bianca, I'm telling.

Speaker 12 (12:55):
Tony all the way.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
I'm not gonna lot.

Speaker 4 (12:57):
Yeah, me too, I've already clean though, I think I
would feel very judged.

Speaker 6 (13:03):
What what is your darkest sea?

Speaker 11 (13:06):
I know not I want to know all of your
It's Tony versus Mi Keldy and Dad who's gonna beat me?

Speaker 6 (13:10):
Last see?

Speaker 1 (13:11):
I think my dad would be like proud of me.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
I don't know, Like, yeah, I couldn't.

Speaker 1 (13:18):
I think I was, like, I'm not joking. I think
Tony knows most of my stories. I think most of
the stuff is out there all right. Next question here,
although Colleen, that would be an interesting.

Speaker 8 (13:27):
One, probably a little more nervous about her.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Yeah, well, Colleen, I think would be cool too. I
think she'd give you good advice, all right. Next one here?
Would you rather have a partner that gives that gives
great gifts or great compliments?

Speaker 24 (13:42):
Hm?

Speaker 6 (13:42):
Hmmm, Zach, I can't hear you, So you got to
come in.

Speaker 8 (13:45):
The studio, and it depends on your love.

Speaker 6 (13:47):
Zach just had a good yes.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
I'm definitely a words of affirmation person, so I would
pick the second one.

Speaker 8 (13:54):
I think I'm I'm with you, Shannon.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Compliment, A true, very genuine, authentic compliment goes such a
long way with me.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
What was the role exit?

Speaker 20 (14:06):
You said you want to day date day day, So the.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
Shininess of that goes away real quick.

Speaker 20 (14:17):
You want guests who doesn't like What if she gave
you great gifts but said that you're a stupid son
of a bitch or something like that, or was verbally abusive.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
If it's the gift of love, what would.

Speaker 8 (14:32):
You pick.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
I would take? I don't know. I think I would
well no, because I will tell you this. I think
Chelsea gives great gifts and gives great compliments. I think
I feel better when she gives me a compliment. I
think when there's something that's you know, when when she
tells me something like if she tells me that that
I'm a great dad, that's the greatest feeling in the world.

(14:57):
So I think that that's the case. So I'm lucky
I get both. I which one would I want more?
I want to compliments more. The next one, would you
rather have a partner who is super romantic or super practical?
Romantic romantic.

Speaker 6 (15:15):
Easy, Practical is low maintenance, though practical is on bore.

Speaker 8 (15:18):
Practical means they don't like to spend money, right, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
I don't think practical is little maintenance.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Let's look at the.

Speaker 8 (15:27):
Practical means like they have a lot of sense in them.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
They seem they just books the practical of or concerned
with actually doing or using of something rather uh than
with theory or ideas. I don't think that didn't help
me of an.

Speaker 20 (15:49):
Idea, plan or method likely to succeed or be effective
in real circumstances feasible.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
I feel like that person would balance me out because
I'm the opposite.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
That person would drive me nuts. I'm going for the romantic.

Speaker 19 (16:04):
But they're always in like la la land sometimes, so
maybe they're not in like down to earth. They're like, no, hey,
we can't be spending this money on this stuff, so
why don't we bake it at home?

Speaker 6 (16:14):
That's more practical.

Speaker 19 (16:15):
I feel like romantic might be like, hey, we're going
all out, Okay, I.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
Don't have that money.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Next one here, would you rather have a partner. I
read that one day. Uh, you only ran it too.
How did you get that?

Speaker 6 (16:33):
I read three? I read three?

Speaker 1 (16:34):
Would you rather have morning sex or sex before bed?
The day off?

Speaker 27 (16:41):
Right?

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Sex before bad for me? For real?

Speaker 6 (16:44):
Yeah, it helps me sleep.

Speaker 1 (16:46):
I just want to sleep. I see I sleep horrible
and I just want to sleep.

Speaker 7 (16:50):
I don't know, man, you get it in the morning.
It starts a whole day off the right. It's better
than a couple of coffee.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
I honestly know, because I like to take a shower
before I have sex, and then I gotta take a shower twice.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
My favorite's actually not on.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
There, and it's middle of the night sex middle of
the night like being working favorite.

Speaker 8 (17:05):
Yes, no, don't mess with my sleep.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Vampire Bianca and Lydia. I wasn't asking you guys this
question because you should not be having sex. We're not.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
Just making sure. I'm just making sure.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
We still want to know from both of y'all, which
one is better.

Speaker 28 (17:26):
Time?

Speaker 6 (17:27):
All right, here's here's she shouldn't answer.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
By the way, That's why she tells the secrets to
the boss and not her dad, because her dad just
heard that and was like, why the hell are you
answering that question. I'm sorry. Here's one for Lydia and Bianca.
Lydia and Bianca because you guys are both kal Dianne hotties.
All right, ready for this one? Would you rather have
a husband who had a full head of hair but
made no money at all? Or a husband that was big,

(17:54):
old bald spot on top of the head but had
the best party store or in town.

Speaker 12 (18:00):
Well, that's all kelbyans. They're all bald to have money.

Speaker 10 (18:03):
That's it.

Speaker 11 (18:03):
I'm so in love with the one that has a
bald head with money. But we'll talk about that sometimes.
But it's not about the money though, It's about the personality.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
But quick question, though, I would you what would you
what about a head of hair? Would you like ahead
of hair?

Speaker 11 (18:14):
My man has a head of hair I've dated and
then with a head of hair that are cheap, So no, okay,
all right, Honestly, if I still got my hair, I
don't care about well how much hair he has, as
long as I got mine.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
All right. Here's here's a question. This one's a question
for for everybody. Would you rather work a job that
fits your passion but with little pay or work a
job that fits your pay with no passion, you mean
the option.

Speaker 7 (18:41):
Always fit my passions.

Speaker 10 (18:46):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
So I could have hobbies that feel like.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
What about you guys, what about Bionca, Lydia and Anna.

Speaker 12 (18:56):
I'll go on this.

Speaker 11 (18:57):
I would definitely do my passion first. Obviously the money.
I feel like the money will come regardless.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (19:04):
Yeah, I'm the same Sameshion.

Speaker 8 (19:06):
And they're done that.

Speaker 12 (19:07):
I feel like that's been my whole life.

Speaker 1 (19:08):
My dad used to always say, chase your passion and
the money or your ability to be able to pay
the bills will will come. The bills.

Speaker 8 (19:17):
Crazy because I feel like I was told the opposite.

Speaker 6 (19:19):
Really get the money, really?

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (19:22):
They who the hell told you that?

Speaker 8 (19:23):
My parents?

Speaker 6 (19:24):
Your parents, your dad say that.

Speaker 8 (19:28):
My dad owns a construction company. He builds houses, and
my mom's a nurse. But it was always like, you
need to do something that is.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Going to support yourself.

Speaker 8 (19:37):
I'm like, I want to be a TikToker. They're like,
that's not going to support you.

Speaker 6 (19:40):
See, my dad was a doctor. In the opposite.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
My dad literally told me when I quit school and
I was going to go do radio, and I was
not doing it for a lot of money.

Speaker 6 (19:47):
I was doing it for very little. I was doing
it for an hourly wage.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
My dad said to you, to me, you should always
do something that never feels like you're working a day
in your life. And he said, if you do that,
you will know that you have the the job. That's
the job of your dreams. Hold on second, Brie has
a question. What you're going to do?

Speaker 6 (20:06):
Uh? Would you go ahead?

Speaker 1 (20:08):
I love it?

Speaker 29 (20:10):
Would you rather it would be full frontal nude on
a billboard and Times Square for one hour?

Speaker 21 (20:16):
Or nibble on your boss's ear log for one minute
without explanations?

Speaker 1 (20:22):
I'm I'm nibbling.

Speaker 20 (20:26):
Reaction, bro, I'm going now.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
Can I answer this one in a way that is
going to make people think for a second? Brie?

Speaker 6 (20:33):
You ready?

Speaker 16 (20:34):
Yes?

Speaker 30 (20:34):
Yes, I'm ready.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Would the Mojo in the morning logo be on my
nude billboard? Because if I got a Time Square billboard,
I'd take it and I would plug the show and
I'd be fine with it. You'd see my little dig
up there, you know, I don't know, I'd probably take that.
What about you, Brie? Which one would you do? I
would have you ever nibbled on your bosses?

Speaker 24 (21:00):
No?

Speaker 31 (21:00):
Actually?

Speaker 27 (21:01):
No?

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Okay, just making sure thank you for the call. I
appreciate it all right? Any other ones? Anybody want to
add one or no? I feel like Kev's going to
come up with a start. I just say, would you
rather do this show at our current time from six
to ten or send it three? No current time? You
know how I feel about this?

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Six till ten or ten in the morning till three
in the afternoon.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
Oh I do ten to three in a second?

Speaker 3 (21:27):
No, really be done around lunchtime?

Speaker 6 (21:31):
Oh my god, I would send it three. I would
I would sleep in.

Speaker 8 (21:35):
I'm a morning person. I'm with you, Shan.

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (21:38):
How about this?

Speaker 1 (21:39):
How about if you would you rather be able to
wake up and do the show from eight until ten thirty,
so you cut a couple hours off early in the show,
but you have to work on a Saturday, so you're
working six days a week until we work five days
a week. Or wake up early?

Speaker 32 (21:56):
Same?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I'm waking up early. Yeah, yeah, let me wake up early?
Would you rather? Yeah? Lick a butt.

Speaker 22 (22:07):
The following message just for Turkey's only remain on this
frequency for further instructions. This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
And iHeart radio station.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
I'm sorry your current man is a cheating, no good
dirt bag. More on Losers Thumb trash can.

Speaker 22 (22:29):
Another War of the roseses after seven on Mojo in
the Morning.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
Back to Mojo in the Morning, Mojo in the Morning Show,
we have a very special guest about to walk into
the studio hair right now. She is the sports director
of iHeart Radio and she is also a nationally renowned

(22:57):
talk show hosts as well as podcaster. I'm only saying
all this stuff because you have no idea what you're
Let me let me clear the listeners in real quick.
So Bianca came in the studio this morning said, get
yelled at by a coworker yesterday?

Speaker 6 (23:08):
It was yeah, And I said, what did you get
yelled at for?

Speaker 1 (23:11):
And who was the coworker and she says, well, it
was this lady.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
Her name is Ronda.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
And Ronda yelled at me because she said, I don't
know what she does around here? And then what exactly happened?
I was gonna I was gonna ask her first, but
then I want to hear her side in.

Speaker 6 (23:27):
Your side to go.

Speaker 11 (23:29):
So you were kind of telling Lydia yesterday about your
day to day here, and I know what you do
because I asked to shadow you a couple of years ago,
and you helped me with the Piston stuff earlier this week,
so I know what you do. I know you do
sports reporting. I did not know you had your own
radio show and that you were on air. I did
not know that, so I asked you. I was like,
oh my gosh, Ronda, I did not know you're on
the air, and you went crazy?

Speaker 6 (23:49):
What did you do? I'm me tell you what she did?

Speaker 33 (23:53):
Go ahead, she said, no, I'm going to say out well,
because I'm not embarrassed by I was.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Yes, I was embarrassed because it's.

Speaker 33 (23:59):
The most of not anxious thing that I could say,
because I'm not like that because I really don't care.
It's the way you said it. Because she said you're
on the air, and I'm like, I got so mad
because there are certain people around the building that go,
what exactly do you do? And I've been with the
company for sixteen years, I work in sports. What more

(24:22):
do you need to know?

Speaker 1 (24:23):
And then she said that, and I go.

Speaker 8 (24:26):
You want to know about me?

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Google me?

Speaker 12 (24:30):
And you said you walked out and you said you
need to work.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Are you a professional or you say.

Speaker 33 (24:36):
It was a trigger and I immediately afterwards sent Lydia
text that you tell you I didn't have your number,
and I apologize because I was a little frustrated.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
I am so not like But you know what though, Ronda,
this is, this is honestly, this is the reason why
I bring this up, not because I want to embarrass
anybody here. I could care a less.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
No, I know you could. I know that you could.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
I bring it up because there are so many people
going into a work job right now, a job right now,
that there are people in their office that have no
idea what they do, have no clue what kind of
work that they do, and how much they mean to
their company and how much they work, and they probably
feel minimized by everybody else around them that has no clue.

(25:23):
So I want those people who feel that way to
call in and tell us about your Randa moment. I
want to tell you the moment that somebody said to you, oh.

Speaker 33 (25:32):
You do that here or what exactly do That's what
I've had that question here. I have been you know,
around and with the company and with you guys when
I moved over when we were at twelve in holste right,
and so it was just a trigger, and it's happened
in the last few weeks where some people in this
building go, so tell me exactly what.

Speaker 8 (25:54):
Do you do?

Speaker 33 (25:55):
Oh, you're kidding And that is just to me so
obnoxious and it's great, respectful, yes, and inconsiderate. And I
would never do that, yes except me. And when she
said it, Bianca.

Speaker 1 (26:08):
I was like, oh.

Speaker 33 (26:10):
And then the minute I walked out and.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Said, I cannot believe I just said google me. That
is so and so not like me.

Speaker 33 (26:18):
You know, it isn't because I could care less if
people know who I am.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
I was like that.

Speaker 33 (26:22):
In Kansas City, They're like, we need to put your
picture on the because I was a beat reporter for
the Chiefs and the Royal y you know, I was embedded.
I blah blah blah, and they're like, we need to
put your I go, no, don't want my picture. I
don't care if people know. I just want to do
the job. Well, it took me so long to get
in this business that I was just you know, wanting
to do the job and I didn't care who knew

(26:43):
who I was.

Speaker 11 (26:44):
Well, I just want to let you know. I don't
know how my tone was. I think I was just
surprised because I didn't know you were on.

Speaker 33 (26:50):
Like the I think it was your tone well, which
I don't know why that offends me because my tone
is so gross too.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Did you did you google her?

Speaker 11 (26:59):
I did, and I did not see any radio shows, right,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (27:03):
See there's the thing.

Speaker 8 (27:04):
You don't listen.

Speaker 1 (27:05):
I don't have a radio show on the air.

Speaker 33 (27:08):
Yeah, yes, that doesn't Being on the air doesn't mean
you have a show.

Speaker 6 (27:12):
I'm gonna pull up.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
I'm gonna pull what Ronda does because you know Ron
is at all the sports press conferences. Hi, Ronda, Rana
uh Mojo here from w k q I Detroit. Can
I ask you a question? Please?

Speaker 24 (27:25):
Sure?

Speaker 6 (27:25):
Is your tone always this way?

Speaker 34 (27:27):
Yes?

Speaker 33 (27:28):
Can I tell you something? The funniest thing when you said,
what do you're on the air or what do you
do when the people here? That's the same question I
asked when I was working in Kansas City to the
owner of the Royals his son, and I said, what exactly.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Do you do this?

Speaker 6 (27:49):
Oh God?

Speaker 18 (27:49):
And I had my.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Credential revoked the day after. Oh so many sons of
owners though we don't know what they do.

Speaker 33 (27:56):
Really, No, he this owner son used to sit in
a off is stare at the lights and eat pace
because he had no idea.

Speaker 11 (28:03):
Well, rn I don't want you to think that I
was trying to be disrespectful, because I truly I admire
what you do. I wanted to shadow you back in
the past because I was very interested in your sports
side and things right, and I don't see what you
do on a day day basis like, I think what
you do is super cool.

Speaker 12 (28:17):
I was just curious. I was wanting to know for
my own thing.

Speaker 6 (28:19):
Well, that's because I sit in the back.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Nobody calls her. Let me grab some calls. Mindy, what's
going on? It's Mojoe in the morning, high.

Speaker 29 (28:28):
Good morning everyone.

Speaker 18 (28:29):
First of all, I just.

Speaker 15 (28:30):
Want to say me.

Speaker 1 (28:32):
I know, isn't it fun? I love it? This is,
by the way fun. I love by the way that
Ronda stuck up for herself though, and because I know
Bianca doesn't mean any harm by that. Bianca is honestly, seriously,
if anybody one of the nicest people here. But I
think it was one of those moments where it was like,
all right, I'm gonna tell this.

Speaker 12 (28:52):
Well, sometimes I have no filter.

Speaker 11 (28:53):
Sometimes I might say things that come off wrong, but
I truly was not trying to be rude or like
offensive or anything like that.

Speaker 12 (28:58):
I was honestly curious.

Speaker 33 (29:00):
Well that's why I apologize right away, because I felt bad.

Speaker 1 (29:02):
I mean I literally.

Speaker 33 (29:03):
Left here, went to the gym, and then texted lydy
because I looked up your note.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
I don't have your number. I would have tanted you too, Amanda.
What's up? It's much on the morning. What's going on?

Speaker 35 (29:14):
Good morning. So I started at my company as an
intern in twenty twenty three, and then I got hired
on like officially in April of twenty twenty four.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Okay, I'm still.

Speaker 35 (29:24):
There, And about two months ago I had someone come
up to me and ask if I had a real
job in the company yet.

Speaker 1 (29:30):
Oh jeez, Yeah, that sucks. Can I tell you I
always felt this in radio. If you start off as
the intern, you got to almost go somewhere else and
get hired in because everybody always considers you still the intern.
The only person.

Speaker 16 (29:43):
You know what.

Speaker 32 (29:44):
We've had like, yeah, two.

Speaker 35 (29:46):
Years of like two classes of interns, and I've done
like so many things, and I'm just like.

Speaker 6 (29:51):
Well, you know what it is.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
Though sometimes people say that to the person that comes
up as the intern because they're scared that you're going
to take their job. So just to understand that, maybe, man.

Speaker 7 (30:01):
The only person I need to know what I do
is the person signing my checks.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
It's right, Bobby damn On, nobody else, Bobby p hold on,
Leonard Woods up.

Speaker 34 (30:12):
Hey.

Speaker 28 (30:13):
She cracked me up when she said you need to
google me, because all I could think was was a
Curson maybe saying that last year. Who is that Indiana's
football coach.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
Oh, that's right, the Indiana football coach when he was
at a press conference, Right, he said google me.

Speaker 25 (30:30):
Yeah, like all I do is win, you could google it.

Speaker 1 (30:34):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
He's a good coach.

Speaker 28 (30:37):
He lost that follow.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
That is true, although I will tell you that's a
scary team. What's up, Natalie? How you doing?

Speaker 8 (30:46):
Good morning?

Speaker 29 (30:47):
Team?

Speaker 36 (30:48):
First of all, whodos Rana were sitting up for herself?
Because I wish I had half of that confidence. Yeah,
I work at a I.

Speaker 37 (30:57):
Still work at a hospital. And it was COVID, and
I work in kind.

Speaker 36 (31:01):
Of a smaller department that does like just heart stuff,
but it's not considered cardiology. So there was a code
blue and I went and the doctor looked at me
and she was like, why are you here?

Speaker 26 (31:13):
Are you even like.

Speaker 36 (31:14):
Essential to this right now? I was just like, oh,
I mean kinda.

Speaker 6 (31:21):
Yeah, that's that.

Speaker 1 (31:22):
That sucks when they say something like that, that's crazy.
You know what though, if he doesn't know who you
are and he's the doctor trying to save somebody's life,
I would wonder though who the person was, but I
wouldn't say that probably at the moment. You know, Yeah, well,
thank you for the person live? Did they live? Natalie?

Speaker 34 (31:44):
Bye?

Speaker 8 (31:45):
Thank you guys.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
Leah, what's up, Leah?

Speaker 27 (31:55):
Hi?

Speaker 26 (31:55):
How's it going?

Speaker 1 (31:56):
What's going on? Good morning? It's going good.

Speaker 38 (32:00):
So a few years ago, I've been a hairdresser for
like ten years, but like probably five years ago, I'm
in the middle of doing somebody's hair and she asks
me what my real.

Speaker 31 (32:10):
Job is while I'm in the middle.

Speaker 1 (32:12):
Of doing Oh god, what your real job is? Like,
it's not an occupation to be doing the hair. You
know what I would do at that moment, upper hair,
you know what I mean. That's where I'm cutting off
more than bangs Man, Miss fit Nicole has the greatest
line of them all on this one. Here we're talking
about Ronda, who is our sports director radio extraordinary. Hold on,

(32:37):
I'm reading the Google stuff here. She's in Bianca and
what's going on, miss Fitnicol? Good morning, Hi, beautiful lady.
What's up?

Speaker 39 (32:48):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (32:49):
Hey, we miss you.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
Haven't heard from you in a while.

Speaker 40 (32:53):
I've been trying.

Speaker 8 (32:55):
Oh jeez, my goal and it's to tell something.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
I think Nicole and Ronda would be good friends. You
should care and I.

Speaker 29 (33:10):
Just get your telling her that and man like thank
walking off?

Speaker 1 (33:14):
Yeah, and what she wearing? Like what she wearing those
shoes that she wears where sometimes she's got like those
dress shoes on it. She's like boom boom boom, boom boom,
and you can walk. You're walking down the hall checking
a bitch.

Speaker 16 (33:27):
He you like?

Speaker 1 (33:29):
That works? Everything, That's right. I love you all right,
Thanks Nicole. I appreciate it. All right, Ronda, We love you, Ronda,
I love you. Have a good weekend. I'm sorry and
I apologize for getting.

Speaker 12 (33:41):
The beef of squashed. We're done.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Well it was done yesterday. Well no no, but of
course you have.

Speaker 33 (33:46):
To come in here and tell the crew, and then
I have to come in and explain myself.

Speaker 8 (33:50):
And now I'm mad all over again.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
Your grand rabbit you Little four five SNX and ninety
two five FM.

Speaker 9 (34:06):
I heard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.
Mojo in the Morning guaranteed human catching cheaters.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
I'm proud of it.

Speaker 41 (34:16):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (34:17):
Get your home for Boar of the Roses Unlojo in
the Morning.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
John thinks his wife is cheating on him? And why
is that?

Speaker 1 (34:24):
John?

Speaker 42 (34:25):
So she she's got a UTI, okay, and that's that's
not something she usually gets really unless you know, she's
been active in a certain way, and we haven't been
active like that for about a month now.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
So you think that because she has a UTI, that
she's been sexually active with somebody else other than you,
since you guys aren't together.

Speaker 4 (34:53):
But you can get a UTI from a lot of
different things. Like I understand, sex is usually the main
cause of it, but that's not just the only way.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Why Why are why would you say you guys are
not having uh sex? What's the reason for that?

Speaker 41 (35:08):
We just gotten to fight a little a little while
ago regarding regarding some family stuff and now we're we're
just we're not having a good time and she I
don't know, it just kind of what it seems like
right now.

Speaker 30 (35:23):
I'm not having not having a good time.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
John, Why all of a sudden do you think that
this X of hers is in her life?

Speaker 30 (35:32):
Because I've seen this calls from him, and I've seen,
you know, miscalls that she hasn't taken from him.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
So is this unusual that they still communicate with each other.

Speaker 41 (35:48):
For the amount that they are.

Speaker 30 (35:50):
Yeah, you know, they would talk here and there, but
now it seems like they're talking quite a bit lately,
and you know, they wouldn't be doing that if it
were if it was just friendship.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
So, John, you gave us the number of your wife's ex,
and you want us to call him up to see
where he's going to send a dozen free roses?

Speaker 11 (36:09):
Hu.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
This would be very wild because usually it's somebody that's
on the phone testing out their spouse. You're actually testing
out your spouse's X. Anybody's still testing his spouse? Yeah, yeah,
all right, we're doing the war of the roses this morning,
and this is going to be very.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
Very awkward to be able to tell this guy that
we have.

Speaker 1 (36:36):
A husband on the phone that thinks that his wife
is messing around with him. Mute your phone, and we're
hoping that this guy does not send flowers to Belle,
who is John's wife to war the roses.

Speaker 10 (37:07):
Hello, Hi is this Kayden?

Speaker 16 (37:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (37:13):
Hi Cayden.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
My name is Nicole and I'm calling you from a
new online floral company called roses bloom dot com with
an offer for some free flowers. Do you have like
thirty seconds to answer two survey questions in exchange for
a dozen long stemmed red roses. It's a promotional offer,
totally free, and the flowers will go out a little
bit later.

Speaker 1 (37:29):
On this afternoon.

Speaker 20 (37:32):
Yeah, if you can make it quick.

Speaker 16 (37:34):
Sure.

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
Have you purchased flowers in the last six months, Kayden?

Speaker 20 (37:40):
No?

Speaker 3 (37:41):
Do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next six months?

Speaker 11 (37:45):
No?

Speaker 8 (37:46):
Not really, Okay.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
As I thank you for participating in that roses bloom
dot com survey, I'm now authorized to provide you with
that dozen long stemmed red roses. So again, they go
out today a little bit later on, and I just
need a first the last name of who you would like.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
These to go to, and they can be out of state.

Speaker 32 (38:06):
Sure, Lana, l A, and A.

Speaker 1 (38:11):
Okay in the last name. Okay, do you know her
phone number? Yeah, it's.

Speaker 32 (38:24):
Seven, okay.

Speaker 4 (38:25):
In her relationship to you, it's my wife. Okay, okay, Kayden,
We're going to send those flowers off. You can expect
to receive them later this afternoon, like I said, And
I just need really quickly to let you know that
this call was being recorded for quality and training purposes.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
Are you okay with that?

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Okay, And we'll be sending you some information about some
specials that we have really really soon.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
Okay, yeah, okay, thanks Kaiden, be sure.

Speaker 6 (39:02):
Thank you, John AYO send him to his wife.

Speaker 30 (39:15):
I I mean, that guy sounds from everything I'm to understand,
it's a bit of a loser. So it's he's sending
it to her. Good for her, I hope.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
So I hope.

Speaker 30 (39:28):
I hope it steers things on the right track and
that she's true. I mean, he sounds like a bit
of a mess, so hopefully it's it's it's better you
know this. This puts things kind of at ease for
me a little.

Speaker 41 (39:41):
Bit at least.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
Well, I don't know how Eddie's it's going to be,
because your wife is on the other line. Really we
had to call her up because we had to let
her know what was going on, and we wanted to
let her know kind of what we were doing by
calling him up and hold on one second.

Speaker 6 (40:03):
Okay, okay yo yo.

Speaker 1 (40:06):
Yeah, this is the home of War of the Roses.

Speaker 6 (40:08):
Mojo in the morning, Belle.

Speaker 15 (40:17):
Yes, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
Bell.

Speaker 6 (40:21):
Say hi to John hie Bell, Say hi Hi Bell.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
John contacted us here because he was worried that something
was going on, that maybe you were still kind of
close to an act of yours.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
And what's that.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
I'm sorry, No, I don't know what he's talking about.

Speaker 32 (40:55):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
Well, we we're just trying to see what kind of
relationship you do have with with your acts. Caden.

Speaker 29 (41:08):
There's no relationship, did you not just hear what I said?

Speaker 32 (41:11):
No relationship at all. There's nothing, absolutely nothing going on.

Speaker 1 (41:15):
Do you still doing anything?

Speaker 6 (41:17):
Do you still talk to him?

Speaker 11 (41:20):
Not?

Speaker 32 (41:20):
Really, that's the past.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Does he ever try to reach out? Does he ever
try to reach out to you sometimes?

Speaker 32 (41:28):
And it's not that serious.

Speaker 1 (41:29):
Do you talk to him when he does reach out
to you sometimes? And is it just a friendship that
you guys have or do you guys have? Uh, nothing
at all.

Speaker 32 (41:43):
It's nobody's business. That was a long time ago. That's
the past. Why are we focusing on the past. He's
in the past. My husband is my present in my future.

Speaker 6 (41:57):
And John, do you want to say anything.

Speaker 30 (42:00):
Very reassuring to hear you know? You know me, I
get really in my own head and I can't see
past my own feet sometimes, and I'm happy to hear
that you know she's committed to this.

Speaker 32 (42:18):
Why would you not think I love you?

Speaker 30 (42:21):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
I'm going to put you guys on hold right now
and let you guys just have a conversation with each other.
And you guys probably have a little bit more talking
that you should do. Hold on one second. Do we
think he's just a guy that has a jealousy issue

(42:47):
and maybe their struggles that they're going through right now
is making it worse. Or do we think that there
was a little bit of defensiveness on her part when
she was asked about her acts. I don't know. There's
a lot lot of thoughts, m and I'd love to
know what your thoughts were you, Shannon, and the listeners
will take some calls. Hold on one second.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
She wanted a discussion now eight four four Mojo Live
four four.

Speaker 11 (43:16):
A.

Speaker 1 (43:17):
This is Mojo in the morning, Where the roads is
and a husband jealous and suspicious that his wife is
cheating because they've been getting into fights with each other
having that sex in a while.

Speaker 6 (43:35):
She said that she's got a UTI. He thinks that
she got that through sex.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Could you explain that to me, by the way, because
I that is a thing. I mean if you have
a lot of sex, I.

Speaker 6 (43:43):
Have a wife, but I don't understand the whole a
lot of sex.

Speaker 4 (43:47):
You know, it's bacterias and you can develop eut but
you can develop AUTI from like being dehydrated, being constipated,
and there's like a lot of it. But that is
like I would I'm not a doctor. I would say
that's probably the most common Yeah, to get one to me,
I get where John is coming from in being uneasy.

(44:08):
That a lot of these things, when you put them together,
look kind of like if I looked at Wes's phone
and he had a ton of miss calls from his
ex wife, would I go what is happening and raise
an eyebrow?

Speaker 1 (44:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:22):
That being said, they very specifically said there were a
lot of missed calls and ones that she hasn't taken.
So to me that that showed that her ex is
trying to reach out to her, but she's not answering
the phone calls, do you know what I mean? So
that's kind of more on the ex husband who's married.

(44:43):
We heard him sends flowers to his wife, But that's
more on the X husband. Why does he continue to
reach out but she's not picking up his phone call?

Speaker 6 (44:50):
Lydia Bianca, is this an ex husband or is this
an ex X?

Speaker 1 (44:54):
Sorry? I'm just assuming, Hu, I know what do we
have here?

Speaker 9 (44:57):
Do we know?

Speaker 12 (44:58):
It is just like an ex relationship?

Speaker 6 (45:00):
About so they were never married?

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Okay, do you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (45:03):
Like, if he's calling and calling and calling.

Speaker 4 (45:05):
And calling, fine, that's on him. But the way that
he made it sound, she's not answering.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
But you don't think though that even if she's not answering,
she could say this guy, my ex tell her husband.
My ex keeps calling me? Why is he calling? And
that's that's a huge piece of it, absolutely, Danny.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
I want to know what your thoughts are, Danny Hie.

Speaker 32 (45:25):
Hey, good morning, well go good morning everyone. I'm how
come you guys are going to do a two way call?

Speaker 6 (45:31):
Or oh, you mean a three way call? So are
we three way call?

Speaker 16 (45:34):
Then?

Speaker 12 (45:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (45:35):
The reason was he did not want to do that
and at first he did not.

Speaker 1 (45:40):
If you guys did that, can I tell you something.
He did not want us to bring her into this
at all. We could never ever do this War of
the roses if we didn't have her to be part
of this, because, to be quite honest with you, that
would be just us calling him up, seeing where he
sends the flowers to he sends him there, and going okay, good.
I think that we always had to have you know,

(46:02):
her involved in this, and you're right, a three way
call would have been better doing it. But I think
we thought that he was going to send the flowers
to his uh you know his girlfriend is you know
the or this girl to Bell.

Speaker 31 (46:16):
Did we know that he was married before you guys
made the caller?

Speaker 1 (46:18):
No, honestly no, I didn't have a clue about that,
and neither did did our producers have a clue. So
that Hey, we love you tea buddy. Listen, I'm gonna
be quite honest with you. It was one of those
ones where it was like fly by the seat of
your pants. But then also if it wasn't for the
reaction that John's wife, Bell gave to the whole, hey,

(46:43):
you know we called your x and she got kind
of defensive. I don't even think we would air this.
I think it would be a non war of the Roses.
What's going on? David?

Speaker 16 (46:54):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 1 (46:55):
Good Man?

Speaker 6 (46:56):
Were the Roses comments here?

Speaker 16 (46:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 32 (46:59):
Man, I think she's got something else going on.

Speaker 31 (47:01):
She's she's still talking to her ex, and I don't know.

Speaker 27 (47:05):
I don't think he's overthinking it at all.

Speaker 32 (47:06):
I think there's something else going on.

Speaker 6 (47:08):
Is that come from the way that she reacted, Yeah.

Speaker 32 (47:13):
I mean kind of.

Speaker 27 (47:14):
I mean she admitted that they still talk and it's
not it's nobody else's business. I think that's pretty shady.

Speaker 9 (47:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (47:20):
She also to me, I.

Speaker 1 (47:21):
Don't know what to think about this one.

Speaker 4 (47:23):
But she also to me sounded very exasperated and frustrated
when she kept saying, this was my past, this was
my past, this was my past. Like John had been,
has been constantly, you know, on her about something else
going on.

Speaker 1 (47:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (47:36):
I think you're giving her too much credit.

Speaker 3 (47:39):
I actually don't sway one way or the other on
this one.

Speaker 6 (47:42):
Alex, what's up your thoughts?

Speaker 22 (47:44):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (47:45):
Alex?

Speaker 1 (47:46):
Is your name Alex or is your name not Alex?
I don't know.

Speaker 32 (47:50):
Yeah, my name is Alex.

Speaker 6 (47:51):
Oh, your name is Alex. What's happening in Alex? And
you have an accent too? I love it? What's going on?
Sexy accent guy?

Speaker 16 (47:59):
Yep?

Speaker 41 (48:01):
How much?

Speaker 16 (48:02):
Just commenting on the Yeah.

Speaker 6 (48:05):
What's going on? Go ahead, you're on, you're on, You're
on the radio right now. What's happening?

Speaker 24 (48:10):
All right?

Speaker 22 (48:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 32 (48:18):
Yeah, I just want to say that you gotta be
cheating because.

Speaker 25 (48:23):
She she like just she jumped the conclusions too quick.

Speaker 34 (48:26):
I didn't like it.

Speaker 1 (48:27):
I felt the same way too. I felt like she
got so defensive, don't you think so, Alex?

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Yeah, Alex, you're killing me.

Speaker 1 (48:36):
You're killing me today, Jun Alex, you're.

Speaker 6 (48:43):
Thank you for the call? Alex?

Speaker 16 (48:46):
All right?

Speaker 6 (48:47):
Oh my god, Lee? What's up?

Speaker 35 (48:51):
Lee?

Speaker 20 (48:54):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (48:55):
Well, aside from the fact that Alex almost put me
to sleep there, what's going on?

Speaker 24 (49:00):
I don't know, man, I feel like you trying to
double cross down there. I think you should have heard
his wife. I feel like she probably stick the other
guy and warned them because he was so like to
like just say, oh, yeah, it's just seriously hurt my wife.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
Wait, we didn't do it. We didn't contact his wife though,
until after he sent the flowers.

Speaker 24 (49:20):
John's wife.

Speaker 6 (49:21):
Yeah, we did not.

Speaker 1 (49:22):
We did not contact Belle until after her act sent
the flowers to his wife.

Speaker 6 (49:27):
Just so you know that.

Speaker 24 (49:28):
Oh okay, all right, all right, we may and listening.

Speaker 1 (49:32):
Yeah, no, no, no, no, just just so you know
we we contacted after the flowers went to uh, this guy,
what's the guy's name, Kayden? After Kayden sent flowers to
his wife, and we you know, talked. It was all right,
get Bell on the phone because now we got to
confront her and see what what she thinks of this
whole thing.

Speaker 24 (49:50):
So okay, yes, I stood there like her reaction though
you know, she was a fan office like I don't
want to talk about my age like, and he was
the near She didn't have a problem with, you know,
talking about her being close her.

Speaker 25 (50:02):
Hey what it is?

Speaker 21 (50:03):
You know?

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Yeah, you and I I appreciate you, Colin in saying
this because I think that you know, you're right. It
does sound like we double crossed, like you said, you know,
John and this one here, but we have we have
to kind of explain that, and I probably needed to
explain it more that after he sent the flowers, the
ex sent the flowers to his wife. We were like,

(50:26):
all right, we got to get her on the phone.
By the way, you know, so all guys calling. I
love this man.

Speaker 6 (50:30):
We're gonna have guy ratings this month. I'm excited. Ali.
What's up? Ali? Another guy? Welcome to two. Hey, good morning,
guys are done? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (50:41):
Hey?

Speaker 25 (50:41):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (50:41):
How you guys doing fantastic? What's your thoughts? Ali?

Speaker 16 (50:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 31 (50:45):
I kind of feel sorry for the due because she's
one hundred percent playing. I mean, it went from when
you guys brought up, Hey, you talk to him, she's
got absolutely not to all sometimes to maybe to none
of your business, and then I feel like at the
end of it, she tried to divert it by saying, oh,
why do you think I don't love you? Instead of saying, Hey,
why do you think I'm unfaithful? It was just a

(51:06):
whole lot of it was really weird, and I kind
of feel sorry for you.

Speaker 25 (51:08):
But there's something going on, whether it's with.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Her ex or someone else's call. Though.

Speaker 4 (51:12):
That's the piece I can't wrap my brain around is
if she's not answering these phone calls like that to
me just sticks out number two like I.

Speaker 31 (51:21):
Don't take I don't think we asked him. I don't
think we asked him enough questions regarding that. I mean,
he did say I kind of did hear him when
he did say, oh, like I saw some calls that
were missed and some other calls. But I don't know
if he said she answered.

Speaker 1 (51:33):
Or not, so I think said she hadn't taken.

Speaker 30 (51:37):
Yeah, yeah, that's what he said.

Speaker 31 (51:39):
I mean maybe maybe that's.

Speaker 26 (51:40):
What he saw.

Speaker 31 (51:41):
But I think you have to ask them more questions
regarding that. If he's calling, they're definitely talking, because why
else would he be calling her? And and and I
think I think he sees it, he knows what's going on,
and uh, you know, he just doesn't want to take
that step or he's afraid to make andn Aali.

Speaker 1 (51:57):
We got to trust a guy's intuition like we trust
women intuition. Women always say in War of the Roses,
you got to trust your woman's intuition, a woman's gut.
If we're not letting the guys also have that, then
we're totally double standard in this one.

Speaker 6 (52:11):
And I think people have oh.

Speaker 31 (52:14):
Module And like I said, I believe the rest lag
in the situation was her trying to divert it by saying,
what do you think I don't love you? Instead of
her saying why would you think I'm not faithful to you?
And I think that's that would be it for me.

Speaker 6 (52:23):
Thanks, Ali, appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (52:25):
By the way, Ali, should I should I allow it
be all guys calling in?

Speaker 6 (52:29):
Or should I take a woman's call here right now?

Speaker 25 (52:31):
It's okay to hear both sides.

Speaker 6 (52:33):
No, no, no, I kind of like this.

Speaker 1 (52:34):
I kind of like this though this is Shannon Jenna.
This is enjoyable for you hanging out with a bunch
of guys today. No, I actually want to hear them. Toya,
what's up?

Speaker 6 (52:42):
Toya?

Speaker 8 (52:42):
Hi?

Speaker 32 (52:44):
Hey, y'all the sun this week? Y'all doing a good job.

Speaker 6 (52:48):
Than what do you think, Toya?

Speaker 32 (52:51):
I agree with the other caller with a lie and
with the other folks saying, and.

Speaker 8 (52:55):
This is nothing.

Speaker 32 (52:56):
You're mary right, Why are you even communicating with X?
It don't sound like y'all got kids.

Speaker 37 (53:02):
It don't sound like y'all share a dog. It don't
sound like y'all got a split deals, Like why are
you even talking to him in the first place? So
I think, like I said, like at least said, it
is a red flag because you don't need to be
communicating with help and this cause or not. I think
Shannon maybe she was busy didn't answer, but then she's calling.

Speaker 32 (53:21):
Him back, you know, so they are definitely communicating and
it is a red flag. And I hope I think
John is his name.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
I hope he figured that, Toya, you're the best. I'm
glad we added you to the call. Jenna, Is it Jenness? Jennis? Jennie?

Speaker 11 (53:37):
Is it?

Speaker 9 (53:37):
Is it?

Speaker 6 (53:38):
Janis j right?

Speaker 8 (53:44):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (53:45):
I thought it was a and I c e likes.

Speaker 6 (53:50):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (53:51):
Jennis?

Speaker 21 (53:52):
So I had really got.

Speaker 43 (53:55):
Feeling that if you guys contexted the white but she
would would she have had the.

Speaker 17 (54:01):
Opportunity to come in the other guy?

Speaker 3 (54:06):
Yeah, we didn't, and we right, we didn't do it in.

Speaker 6 (54:08):
That order, and we didn't.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
We actually contacted her after he had already sent the
flowers off, so he had no indication that we were
calling unless he's a listener, which he could.

Speaker 43 (54:18):
Be a listener because but I just felt like it
wasn't very genuine. I just felt like there was more
to it, and she was a little desensive, So I
just feel like there's a little more to it. She
has the feeling that she might want to pursue it.

Speaker 34 (54:36):
So she was just seeing defensive and off and.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
You know what, you could be right. I mean he
also go back and listen to when Channon called and
talked to him. How did he sound when he sent
the flowers right away to his wife? Could be here's
a listener, Brianna, last call on this one. What's going on? Hi?

Speaker 18 (54:54):
How are you gay?

Speaker 6 (54:55):
We're going on? Brianna? What are your thoughts on War
of the Roses?

Speaker 15 (54:58):
Okay, So did anybody I noticed that when you guys
called him, he called her his girlfriend, and then when
you got the wife on the phone, she said that
was his wife.

Speaker 29 (55:07):
I was completely shocked.

Speaker 15 (55:09):
I think he has a girlfriend, and I think that
he was expecting that guy to send flowers to his girlfriend.
But then you got the wife on the phone, and
he was a little shocked, like he found it a
little rattled that She kind of popped.

Speaker 18 (55:23):
In and was like, hey, yeah, now.

Speaker 6 (55:28):
I'm telling you, I think we got more to explore. Brianna,
what are your thoughts?

Speaker 15 (55:32):
I definitely do, because I'm not gonna lie. I've been
that person that stayed friends with their exes while they
were in a relationship. They always have. But my current
boyfriend that I've been with for four years now, he
did not like it. He was not a fan at all,
and pretty much it was like pick the boyfriends or
pick me.

Speaker 8 (55:48):
So I let it go and I.

Speaker 15 (55:50):
Don't talk to my ex boyfriends anymore. But I still
feel pretty strongly about the fact that you can be
friends with an ex.

Speaker 34 (55:56):
Like if you end on good.

Speaker 15 (55:57):
Terms and you were friends beforehand, who says that you can't.
So I used to get really defensive as well when
my boyfriends would accuse me or get angry and say like, hey,
I don't why are you talking to your acts?

Speaker 29 (56:09):
That's weird?

Speaker 15 (56:10):
But like they were my friends, so I was like,
you need to understand, like I was friends with this
person for two years before we started dating, Like.

Speaker 24 (56:17):
I'm not just going to drop them.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
Yeah, I got to figure out what the level is
of this because I don't trust any guys.

Speaker 35 (56:24):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (56:25):
But I also agree with you. I agree that you
can be friends with axes.

Speaker 2 (56:29):
He locked with people who annoy the hell out of you.

Speaker 8 (56:32):
Why don't you come on with sit next to your
auntie every Thanksgiving?

Speaker 1 (56:36):
From Mojo in the morning?

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Did you talking back to more.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
Mojo in the morning. He makes me that because he
looks like a whole guy of hotpuit.

Speaker 6 (56:45):
No mojo, all right, it is mojo in the morning.

Speaker 1 (56:50):
So I was talking earlier this morning about my son
Jacob and his boyfriend Chris, and I want to bring
up a topic that I think is something that listeners
can all relate to, and I think you guys could
relate to too. So we were sitting around the table
and Jacob and Chris at one point looked at each other,

(57:11):
and Jacob looked at him and said, I love you.
And it warmed my heart as a dad to know
that my son has somebody that he loves. And then
when Chris said it back to Jacob, I was like, oh,
it's nice to know that there is somebody that loves
my son, you know what I mean. So we were
talking about when you say I love you to each other,

(57:32):
and Jacob goes, well, we didn't always say I love you.
It is only told recently that we started saying I
love you. And they've been together for a little bit
of time, and I said, well, what did you guys
say before I love you? And Jacob said that they said,
I appreciate you.

Speaker 8 (57:44):
So that sounds.

Speaker 6 (57:48):
So it was kind of.

Speaker 1 (57:49):
Interesting because we were having and then he said, well,
what did you say to Mom before you said I
love you to Mom? And I said, honestly, I think
the first time I had sex with her, I said
I love you because I think, honestly, it was one
of those moments where it's like, all right, I love you, know,
like this is so I don't even remember. But what
did you say or what are you saying to somebody
that you're in a relationship with that you haven't said

(58:10):
love yet to What was the thing that you would say?
So there's was I appreciate you? What did you before
you could say the words love? What do you say
to the person?

Speaker 8 (58:21):
Like when somebody says, you know my sister and her
ex husband said juice yeah for a long time, and
I always.

Speaker 1 (58:28):
Thought it was weird.

Speaker 6 (58:29):
Is that from a movie or something.

Speaker 4 (58:30):
I don't think it sounds like I love you, yeah, juice.
If you're like mouthing it, oh, really olive juice. I'm
I don't think I said anything. I just said I
really really like yeah, I like you.

Speaker 10 (58:48):
Like a bunch.

Speaker 1 (58:49):
I don't know what I said. I think I said,
I honestly do you think with Chelsea, I think I
said you're great, Like I think it was something like,
I think you're great. Yeah, so I need to digress. Great,
but I liked you're dating a guy.

Speaker 6 (59:08):
What what do you say to this guy?

Speaker 11 (59:10):
You're not in a love stage, so actually this is
kind of crazy. So what we do is we say
I really like you times one hundred. It's kind of crazy,
but we're not saying I love you, but we're not
actually saying that until my parents approved.

Speaker 10 (59:25):
As a teenager.

Speaker 8 (59:26):
What's up? Do you love him?

Speaker 11 (59:28):
I think the feelings are there, They're really strong. I've
never felt like this for anyone in a long time.

Speaker 8 (59:33):
What about you?

Speaker 10 (59:36):
Sorry, I can hear you.

Speaker 1 (59:37):
What about you? Oh? We say it?

Speaker 6 (59:39):
You do say for a long time.

Speaker 1 (59:42):
Before though, Oh we.

Speaker 10 (59:45):
Didn't never even talk about love. We never even mentioned it.

Speaker 11 (59:48):
I didn't say that I loved him even when I did,
because he didn't say to me, yeah, it was just I.

Speaker 1 (59:53):
Like, I think the thing is interesting how sometimes people
will not want to say I love you first because
they don't know what the reaction would be. Yeah, And
I also feel like that's equally to you don't know
who to go in you don't. I never knew when
to go in for kisses, Like, I never had any
idea when to go in for a kiss. So there
would be times where I wouldn't go in for a

(01:00:14):
kiss for a long for a long period of time
when I would be out with girls and they would
think that for a while there that I had no
interest in them. But I didn't want to be like
a predator or something, you know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:00:26):
For a couple of girlfriends, I kind of made them
say it to like try to create a say space
that I'd be like, you love me, don't you Yeah,
And I'm like and then they'd be like, I'd be like,
I love you, It's okay to see and then.

Speaker 1 (01:00:36):
We'll say it together, trying to create like you know, yeah,
what are you doing over there? I'm saying out of
juice too, and you're not. You're not mouthing it back juice.
What's up? How you doing?

Speaker 6 (01:00:51):
Anthony?

Speaker 26 (01:00:53):
Hey, how you guys doing?

Speaker 20 (01:00:54):
We're good man. We're talking about love here. Who doesn't
love everybody?

Speaker 16 (01:00:59):
We love you?

Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
You, I love you, I love you. What's happening?

Speaker 14 (01:01:07):
So when me and my girlfriend first got together, instead
of us saying I love you. I think I was
the first one to say it, but instead of us
saying I love you, she started the training of you
make my heart happy.

Speaker 6 (01:01:20):
Oh that's sweet that I love that.

Speaker 23 (01:01:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (01:01:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (01:01:25):
It was like when she first said it, I was
just like, whoa, Okay, all right, so I.

Speaker 3 (01:01:30):
Like that better than I love you.

Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
You should answer back with you give me tingles down there?
You see what happens.

Speaker 6 (01:01:40):
That's cute.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
I like that. Aaron, what's up?

Speaker 28 (01:01:42):
Baron?

Speaker 16 (01:01:44):
Hey? Are you?

Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
We're good?

Speaker 32 (01:01:47):
So kind of like the elephant juice, we would say,
or we would say elegant poop, kind of like the juice.

Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Yeah, yeah, elegant poop does not come I love him poop.
It looks like, yeah, it doesn't kind of go the
same way. But that's interesting appreciating what's up, Sarah?

Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
How you doing?

Speaker 8 (01:02:10):
How are you good?

Speaker 6 (01:02:11):
What would you guys say?

Speaker 29 (01:02:14):
I told my God that I absolutely adore him.

Speaker 8 (01:02:18):
That's sweet too.

Speaker 1 (01:02:20):
That's very sweet. Isn't there is there a movie that
does that? Or maybe I'm thinking something else, but it's like, yeah,
I love that song. That is such a good song.
What's up, Laxi? How you doing?

Speaker 15 (01:02:34):
Hi?

Speaker 44 (01:02:35):
So long story short, anybody who knows me and my boyfriend,
we were inseparable from the beginning. It just took me
a little bit to agree to date him. And the
first time he told me he loved me, we were
like just waking up, so I wasn't fully there yet
and he said I love you, and the only thing
that could come out of my.

Speaker 18 (01:02:52):
Mouth is no, you don't.

Speaker 44 (01:02:54):
And he acted so totally normal about it afterwards, so
I was convinced, like, no, well he didn't.

Speaker 1 (01:03:00):
Say that, and then the next day had You know,
that is the wildest thing to know what to react
with when they say I love you, because honestly, when
Chelsea said I love you to me for the first time,
and I think I might have said I love you
to her first, like where I said I love you
and she's just like, oh great, like when I say
and I was kind of and she said I love

(01:03:21):
you back. I freaking like I was ready for the
the Ford fireworks downtown or whatever.

Speaker 6 (01:03:27):
You know what I mean, like you need it new pants.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
I was seriously, yes, I had the tingles down there,
like I was talking, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (01:03:33):
How you doing, Brad?

Speaker 26 (01:03:35):
Hey, I'm doing pretty good.

Speaker 25 (01:03:38):
I thought i'd tell you the story that.

Speaker 26 (01:03:40):
I was with somebody for quite a while and I
thought I'd be pretty slick about it and say it
in German. And instantly he had a look on his
face and I was like, oh crap, Yeah he understood
quite well, that's funny say it in Germany. But the
best thing is is he said it right back to me.

Speaker 16 (01:04:00):
So that was good.

Speaker 26 (01:04:02):
And now and we've been married for six years.

Speaker 20 (01:04:04):
Now, what is that?

Speaker 6 (01:04:06):
What's I love you in German?

Speaker 1 (01:04:10):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 8 (01:04:12):
Again, I never would have got that, bless you.

Speaker 26 (01:04:20):
This is my first time ever calling.

Speaker 1 (01:04:24):
Why is it that German sounds so harsh? Like it
doesn't sound like it's definitely not like you know your
Parisian or you know what I mean?

Speaker 27 (01:04:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
What, oh, Anita, you got a bad line. Oh there
you go, Hi Anita, Hi? Oh God, hopefully you weren't
on this line when you said I love you to him?
What What what happened? I said thank you when he said.

Speaker 16 (01:04:50):
I love you?

Speaker 32 (01:04:52):
Yeah, And now every time off I tell him I
love you, I thank you.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Oh my gosh, you know what? God is punishing you
with the worst phone line ever? Were gonna make this switch?

Speaker 6 (01:05:09):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:05:10):
Thanks? Anita?

Speaker 6 (01:05:11):
Take cares me to.

Speaker 1 (01:05:11):
Baby side dish is wine count Happy Thanksgiving from Mojo
in the morning. All right, Mojo in the morning. Shannon
got into a fight with her husband Wes. What's up?

Speaker 4 (01:05:26):
He's mad at me? I think he's still mad at
me over this. And it has to do with my daughter. Lucy,
who has been not feeling so hot for the past
two days. Didn't go to school on Monday yesterday called
us halfway through the day and.

Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
Was like, I still don't feel well, mom, you know,
can you please come get me?

Speaker 4 (01:05:43):
So she's been our little sticky in the house, which
everybody knows we're all going down at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:05:50):
She's the first one down. We're all going to follow.

Speaker 4 (01:05:52):
But she loves cuddling in my bed, our bed, and
so on Monday night, the Lions game was on and
everybody was watching the game downstairs eating dinner, and Luke
came up to me and she was like, Mama, it's

(01:06:14):
too loud. I just want to go up in your
bed and cuddle up with a blanket in my pajamas
and watch something and fall asleep.

Speaker 1 (01:06:20):
And I said, go for it, loose, So she went
up there.

Speaker 4 (01:06:23):
Well, then Wes went up to take a shower, and
he was not super thrilled that a sick.

Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Lucy was laying in our bed.

Speaker 4 (01:06:33):
And he's like, that is how everybody gets sick, is
when you're like all up in everybody else's spaces.

Speaker 3 (01:06:39):
And I'm like, well, what did she want me to do?

Speaker 4 (01:06:41):
She didn't want to be down here, she wanted it quiet,
and she wanted to be able to fall asleep, but
she wanted to watch TV in the process. And nobody
has TVs in their rooms except for me, so that's
always just what I've done. And he was like, yeah,
that's just like not cool. I don't want to get sick.
I can't afford to get sick right now. So it

(01:07:01):
became a conversation of is that cool to do or
not interesting?

Speaker 1 (01:07:09):
I'm on, West, you are a sick ass girl. I
mean I got the death. I got the death, and
he was sick. You wouldn't want Josiah to be comforted
in your bed. I it's happened before, but I mean yes,
but I would try to figure out a way to
not make it happen like I would probably.

Speaker 24 (01:07:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
It's weird. You do not want to get sick, but
so that always say.

Speaker 4 (01:07:32):
My argument, I was like, we're all under the same roof,
in the same space.

Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
Anyway, if we're if you're going to get sick, you're
gonna get sick.

Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
Side of the bed with Sean, she was on my
side of the bed. Okay, so she's on my side
of the bed. It doesn't matter.

Speaker 7 (01:07:48):
Here's the only thing that I would say, because I
don't live with Josiah's mom. It's a situation where I'm
the only person he could cud or whatever the case
is with. So that's my only reason for saying, like, Okay,
maybe I would. But if miss both y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
In the house, you go in her room.

Speaker 6 (01:08:03):
It's funny. Can I tell you?

Speaker 1 (01:08:05):
It's funny because I'm sitting there. This is me picturing this.
I'm picturing the way that you set it up. And
maybe it was the way you set it up to
make me more sympathetic towards Lucy being sick. And I'm thinking, oh, man, Wes,
why why are you getting something? And then I'm thinking
if Chelsea did it with my kids, would I be like,
get your ass out of my bed. And it's weird
because I think that, and I don't know why my

(01:08:27):
head goes here, my head space goes here. How would
Wes have felt if it was his daughter? Some man?

Speaker 4 (01:08:32):
Well, that's what he said to me. He's like, you
you don't ever like getting sick. He's like, how would
you feel if you came in here and Sam was
just laying in our bed watching TV sick?

Speaker 6 (01:08:41):
I'm like, how would you feel?

Speaker 1 (01:08:44):
Really? And I hate to bring that up because I
don't want it to sound like you know, guys, you
just don't care for each other's kids as much as
you care for yours.

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
But it has nothing to do with his kids versus mine.
It's just that's what we like.

Speaker 4 (01:08:56):
Like, I've never thought I'm in the past, go up
in my bed and lay and watch even fall asleep,
and that he'll put you to bed, you know it
when it becomes bedtime.

Speaker 1 (01:09:04):
It's so funny because I'm like, when you just tell
that story, I'm going, god, it is kind of hardcore.
And then I'm like sitting there going, Okay, well this
is this is like Luke or Joey or Jacob, and
I'm going get your ass out of my bed.

Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
He's also really crazy about being sick, and Sam has
a meat This weekend. So he's like, I don't want
her to get sick. I don't want to get sick,
and me, what's on my face?

Speaker 6 (01:09:29):
Then what do you do though, because you're in the
same walls.

Speaker 4 (01:09:32):
Guess what we're all if one goes down, we're all
going to follow matter where we've been taking it. It
doesn't matter where you are, you're going to get sick.

Speaker 1 (01:09:43):
My mom, by the way, when I would stay home
sick from school, and I don't know if you're like this,
because I know you said Lucy had been home sick
from school too. My mom would let us stay in
bed with her, Like we would literally would lay in
bed with her, and then my dad wouldn't even sleep
in the bed.

Speaker 27 (01:09:56):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:09:57):
My dad would go somewhere else. Was you know what though,
here's the deal, it's like moms comfort their kids.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
Really, I'm only bringing this up because I need one
person to side with me because I'm kind of knowing
them the wrong here.

Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
I just want one. Well, I was siding with you
in the beginning, and now I'm thinking if it was me,
I probably wouldn't. Like I got to be honest with
you too, Also, like if I'm you know, if he
wouldn't do it with his kids. You wouldn't you know?
Then I get it. It's cool, you know what I mean?
And I don't think he would be like, I don't
want to still don't want to get sick.

Speaker 6 (01:10:26):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
I wouldn't do it with my kids either. I would
be like, I don't want to be sick either. But
I don't know it was Smith. I love Smith Smith,
that kid for some reason.

Speaker 6 (01:10:36):
I don't know. Lucy's okay. Smith is Smith Is That
kid just sits there. He's got that. There's something cool
about that kid. I love that kid. What's up, Kelly?
How you doing?

Speaker 11 (01:10:47):
Oh?

Speaker 32 (01:10:47):
I feel back as Sinna just says she needed someone
to agree with her.

Speaker 16 (01:10:51):
But I don't know you.

Speaker 32 (01:10:57):
I'm usually really about the cuddling and all that, but no,
I have two kids, and you very well can avoid
sickness if you want to when it comes to kids.

Speaker 18 (01:11:06):
But I do think, like I definitely you know, putting
them in the.

Speaker 32 (01:11:09):
Bed with you is just kind of asking for it.

Speaker 30 (01:11:11):
So I kind of agree with Less.

Speaker 8 (01:11:12):
I'm sorry, we turn off the DM radio.

Speaker 4 (01:11:15):
He just teks me, why spread germs to every room
instead of just leaving them in one quarantine Ashley.

Speaker 6 (01:11:21):
What's up?

Speaker 21 (01:11:23):
Hi?

Speaker 31 (01:11:23):
I actually sided with Shannon.

Speaker 32 (01:11:25):
I think it's a mom thing.

Speaker 34 (01:11:27):
I think kids want more comfort when they're not feeling well.

Speaker 21 (01:11:31):
And she's found comfort in her mom's spot watching her
show till she fell asleep.

Speaker 24 (01:11:36):
That's what she wanted.

Speaker 8 (01:11:37):
Are you a mom?

Speaker 32 (01:11:39):
I am?

Speaker 16 (01:11:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
What's wrong with going in the child's room though there's
no TV in there?

Speaker 8 (01:11:46):
Aren't we doing no technology?

Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
That TV doesn't count?

Speaker 6 (01:11:51):
Katrina? What's up? Katrina?

Speaker 16 (01:11:55):
Hi?

Speaker 23 (01:11:55):
I was gonna say, I side with Shannon.

Speaker 45 (01:11:58):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 21 (01:11:58):
We you can go sleep on couch for the night.

Speaker 29 (01:12:00):
The girl wants to comfort her mom's bed.

Speaker 18 (01:12:03):
Okay, she doesn't even have her iPads, she's.

Speaker 23 (01:12:05):
You know, she wants to watch TV.

Speaker 39 (01:12:07):
Just go sleep on the couch for the night.

Speaker 31 (01:12:08):
She can be washed.

Speaker 3 (01:12:09):
Give me your numbers during every argument, I got you.

Speaker 40 (01:12:13):
Listen, I have a travel with autism, and autism moms
don't play.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
Okay, here's a question. There have been times where my
kids have been sick and Chelsea's like let them stay
in bed and had me move to one of their
rooms because she wanted to make sure she was there
for them.

Speaker 6 (01:12:30):
How would you react if you said you know what.
I want Lucy to stay with me tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:12:34):
Honestly, he I give him credit there. He's really good
in those situations. Yeah, he would get that.

Speaker 6 (01:12:38):
He's flexible with that. What's up, Emily?

Speaker 16 (01:12:42):
Hi? You guys.

Speaker 45 (01:12:44):
I side with Shannon, And every single year when my kids.

Speaker 44 (01:12:49):
Get sick around this time, I have the same argument
and they gets brought up.

Speaker 18 (01:12:54):
Every year we argue about this last year.

Speaker 45 (01:12:56):
I know, but you know what, my kids are sick,
they want their mom.

Speaker 34 (01:13:00):
Their mom is their comfort person, and sell it's my
bed and yeah, so ill that battle every year.

Speaker 1 (01:13:07):
There is something about mom and dad's bad that makes kids,
you know, comforted, Like.

Speaker 8 (01:13:16):
I'm scared.

Speaker 45 (01:13:20):
I am a mom before and you would think I
would be about to wear in a Heisland trophy the
way I keep those kids away from me.

Speaker 18 (01:13:28):
When they seek Like you're here with that with West,
like go find your.

Speaker 45 (01:13:34):
Own bed, your own blanket, don't bring that over here.

Speaker 16 (01:13:37):
Nobody here to say.

Speaker 6 (01:13:40):
And you're not the same, You're not so recent.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
You don't sound like the mom that when your kids
got snot on them, you wipe it off with your shirt.

Speaker 6 (01:13:47):
You're not that kind of mom.

Speaker 25 (01:13:49):
Come on, ain't nobody doing that.

Speaker 6 (01:13:54):
Moms that love their kids do it.

Speaker 24 (01:13:56):
Resa, I love the Oh my god, I love my
kids to death. But when they it's like, don't somebody
else to deal with that?

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
I just want to bring the water with which doesn't
make any sense, but I do, like, I just want
to know.

Speaker 45 (01:14:08):
Them well, not as the masks have been coming out
and people wearing mask come close to me when I
get a mask's moving back on the way from over here.

Speaker 1 (01:14:18):
Around the parts resent quick question for you if your
kids needed an organ because they like the kidney or something,
would you give them yours?

Speaker 24 (01:14:27):
Oh god, this that's totally different.

Speaker 28 (01:14:29):
Mojo.

Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
I'm just wondering to it depends which kid?

Speaker 2 (01:14:34):
Right, remember these songs? See how will you doing this?

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
It's tomorrow after eight Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:14:51):
All right, it's Mojo in the morning. This is actually
just a random thing just to say.

Speaker 1 (01:14:56):
I don't know if this is a topic or not,
but I've noticed that an observation lately on Facebook that
I've been noticing.

Speaker 6 (01:15:04):
You know, do you ever do you go on Facebook?
On the Facebook?

Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
Do you look on the Facebook?

Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
Very rarely, but every once in a while I'll go
on there.

Speaker 6 (01:15:11):
I'm not necessarily one that doesn't like Facebook. Like a
lot of people.

Speaker 1 (01:15:15):
I've got ninety friends on Facebook. Twelve of them are printing,
but I got ninety friends.

Speaker 6 (01:15:18):
There's a lot of people that hate on Facebook.

Speaker 1 (01:15:20):
And honestly, Facebook still has its algorithms, right, it still
has the stuff that I like to check out. So
I go on Facebook a lot. I probably do Instagram
more than I do Facebook, but I'm not going to
lie to you. I do the Facebook a lot, okay,
especially when I need to know whose birthday it is,
because I normally don't. I don't know anybody's birthday other
than that. So I'm on Facebook and I noticed where

(01:15:41):
it has the friends you should Know type section where
it's basically people that are friends of people that you
are friends with. And lately on my Friends you should Know,
I've been noticing that there are some very attractive women
that are supposedly friends that I should know, okay, and

(01:16:02):
they come up from time to time, and I'm not
gonna lie to you, I stopped to look to see
who they are because I'm like, how should I know
these people? Because these people are pretty attractive people, and
I don't know attractive people.

Speaker 6 (01:16:14):
No offense to my friends that are listening to me
right now.

Speaker 1 (01:16:17):
All your friends are like, oh yeah, okay, so these
friends that you should know come up on my Facebook
page and let me pull it up here real quick
and see if I got it. Hold on, I'm just
going through this. Hold on a second. So all right,
So if I go to the people that you should know,
I always pull up and the people that you should
know on your friend's thing here, it always shows these

(01:16:40):
really really hot people.

Speaker 6 (01:16:41):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
And there's only one friend that I am associated with
this person or a friend that I have in common,
and it's always the same guy. And the guy is
and I'm not going to say his name because he
is a huge advertiser in the local area here and
I don't want to him get mad at me.

Speaker 6 (01:17:01):
But he's a he's a business owner.

Speaker 8 (01:17:04):
Is he single, Maybe he's dating?

Speaker 1 (01:17:06):
I think he is.

Speaker 6 (01:17:07):
I think he might be single, or he might be dating.

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
I don't know. But he comes up as the person
that is always associated to the hot person that is
the person that you should know. And I'm like, how
is it that he's always the one person that I
should know this person with and they're always like really
really attractive.

Speaker 6 (01:17:26):
I cannot find them. Where's the Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:17:27):
Here it is? I think this is it right here?
This says requests. All right, here's the request.

Speaker 32 (01:17:34):
Excuse me?

Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
Whoa, here's the request here? But where's the person people
that you should know? And why is it not coming up?

Speaker 4 (01:17:41):
I feel like it usually comes up when you're just
scrolling and then all of a sudden it's like a
bar cross center.

Speaker 1 (01:17:46):
Do you know what I'm talking about? You're right, absolutely right.
So here let me just scroll and I'll scroll down
a little bit by the way. Okay, so I just
got mine. R Let me? Can I say something to you?
Our war The roses are always coming up now on
everybody's algorithms. Great job to Bianca guy, and of course
all the great TikTok following that we have too. Do

(01:18:06):
you have any any stuff like this too?

Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
Yeah, but minor, just like spouses of people that I know. Yeah,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:18:15):
It's like recommending their spouse, which yeah, no, of funds,
I don't.

Speaker 1 (01:18:19):
I don't need for this guy, I should have screenshot
at it because it's hysterical. But every time that one
of these girls comes up in the people that you
should know, I go in and I look, and I'm like,
how should I know?

Speaker 6 (01:18:32):
I really shouldn't know you, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
I'm a married guy with you know, with a wife
that will kill me if she knows, and I know you,
and and I'm looking going, why is it that the
one friend is this one business owner guy?

Speaker 6 (01:18:47):
And he's the only person that is one friends?

Speaker 27 (01:18:49):
You know?

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
Who came up my mind?

Speaker 3 (01:18:51):
Blaine Fowler from The Blaine and Lauren Martin Show.

Speaker 6 (01:18:54):
So look at this woman right here. Her name is Laura.

Speaker 1 (01:18:57):
She's a hotty. She looks like she might be I
don't know, Italian or something or Caldan comes up. One
person that she know? Yeah that guy? Oh, okay, here's
another one. Now I's got five people that know I know. Oh,
here's here's one right here, all right down there, look
at that one person I should know.

Speaker 6 (01:19:14):
Guess who it is?

Speaker 1 (01:19:15):
Hello.

Speaker 6 (01:19:17):
It's weird, like, why is one person that I should know?

Speaker 9 (01:19:19):
Like?

Speaker 1 (01:19:19):
Why here right here, Ashmara, look at all right he
loves How do we know her? I don't know how
I know her?

Speaker 6 (01:19:28):
But why is she and my mutual friends here? Okay?

Speaker 1 (01:19:31):
It's weird?

Speaker 6 (01:19:32):
How this does this?

Speaker 20 (01:19:34):
Somebody needs to explain this to me, Like what do
you know how this is Bianca because I know that Beyonca,
you studied this in college and stuff.

Speaker 11 (01:19:42):
Honestly, I don't know how that works. I think it's
just random. There's no like algorithm for it.

Speaker 1 (01:19:46):
But why is it that the why is it that
the guy that is the one person that I know
that's the person that you should know? Is this guy?

Speaker 6 (01:19:53):
Is he a player or something? And he's got so
many friends with.

Speaker 8 (01:19:56):
You ask him, be like, hey, do you know this woman?
She keeps requests to follow me and see what he says.

Speaker 11 (01:20:01):
I think if you guys have like any mutuals, if
you guys follow any of the same people, maybe they
might come up on your Really, how.

Speaker 6 (01:20:07):
About this girl?

Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Look at the Look at this?

Speaker 6 (01:20:09):
I mean she looks like a freaking model, Like, who
are these people like her?

Speaker 1 (01:20:13):
Look at this?

Speaker 11 (01:20:15):
So maybe some of the people you follow and some
of the people he followed both follow her?

Speaker 1 (01:20:19):
Really?

Speaker 12 (01:20:20):
That could be it?

Speaker 1 (01:20:20):
Yeah, So I have to be honest with you. I
don't ever notice, like Kevin's never person I know, And
I think maybe I don't have a face. Maybe Kevin's
got really ugly from Yeah, you don't have a Facebook. No,
I'm don't have a Facebook page.

Speaker 7 (01:20:34):
I had a Facebook back like in high school, and
it was like, honestly around this time. It was a
around Halloween time, and I used to put different pictures
as my profile picture, and I used to update my
statuses with stories that accompanied the picture. And it was
one type of lorraina bobbit Halloween where like she bit
the thing off, and that was my profile picture. And
I got reported because I think a pastor followed me

(01:20:56):
like a couple of days before, and they disabled my account.

Speaker 1 (01:20:58):
I just never got it back ever went back after that.
So if I wanted to, I could be Kevin Irwin ahead,
I can be you just follow all those women that
would be my what do they call it in Facebook?
It's a Instagram?

Speaker 6 (01:21:13):
It's a fake one.

Speaker 8 (01:21:13):
What is is a fin staff?

Speaker 6 (01:21:16):
Is it a fake book? That's a good one. What's up,
David High?

Speaker 25 (01:21:21):
How's it going? First time a long time?

Speaker 1 (01:21:25):
What's going on, buddy?

Speaker 25 (01:21:28):
So I've seen those same beautiful women come up on
my Facebook page and you try to friend them and
then they want to talk, but they're scammed. As soon
as you ask them to send a picture of you know,
some way to prove themselves, they disappear.

Speaker 6 (01:21:47):
Why are you?

Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
Are you?

Speaker 6 (01:21:49):
Are you a single man?

Speaker 25 (01:21:54):
Technically?

Speaker 16 (01:21:54):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
What's going on? Are you separated or something? Or what's
the story? Look at those guy?

Speaker 25 (01:22:02):
No, no, I've never been married.

Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
I try to be I try to friend them, and
then I want them to send me pictures. It's going on.
What do you do? He has a steering.

Speaker 25 (01:22:12):
Whettle, sir, it's just to prove that they're stamped.

Speaker 3 (01:22:17):
Okay, these are very real women, you can tell.

Speaker 6 (01:22:20):
Yeah, these are women.

Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
Can I be honest with you?

Speaker 16 (01:22:22):
I want them.

Speaker 6 (01:22:23):
I want an interview with the I want an.

Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
Interview with the Asian lady that's always the fake lady
that wants to be a friend. I want to interview
her and get her on the air. Because here's the deal.
She's got to have the most memorable face of anybody.
We all go, who is this woman whenever we see it,
you know, and she's always got she's always got this name,
and you're like, I don't know you, and why is

(01:22:46):
she sending me a d M or you know, trying
to get me to be friends with her?

Speaker 25 (01:22:49):
So so if you look at the other telltale signes,
don't have one maybe two pictures?

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Yeah, don't have no data.

Speaker 6 (01:22:59):
They're oh, yeah, experience David.

Speaker 25 (01:23:06):
So I've never been married. I was singing a long time.

Speaker 1 (01:23:10):
Okay, all right, well you'd be safe out there. And
a friend request me Kevin, uh I, what's up? Anne Marie?

Speaker 9 (01:23:19):
Hi?

Speaker 16 (01:23:21):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
What's going on?

Speaker 39 (01:23:23):
You guys?

Speaker 1 (01:23:23):
We're good?

Speaker 6 (01:23:24):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:23:24):
Anne Marie?

Speaker 6 (01:23:26):
Do you know my one friend that knows all these
attractive women?

Speaker 37 (01:23:30):
I do not, But I think the reason that they're
always coming up on your Facebook feed is because you're
probably always clicking on them.

Speaker 1 (01:23:40):
Well, I'm trying to figure out why it is that
these people are people I should know.

Speaker 6 (01:23:45):
It's kind of funny.

Speaker 1 (01:23:45):
Though I do have like family members and my people,
I should know that I don't even take as as friends.
I don't know why it is, but there's a couple,
there's a couple there, and then there's a couple of
people that left Channel nine to five five to go
to AMP Radio back in the day, and I refuse
to be friends with them when they when they all
left us, I decided, you know what you're you're dead
to me now when you went across the town to

(01:24:08):
AMP Radio, and now look at you, and now look
at AMP radio. They're they're dead now right that they
should have stayed. They should have never left her. So
thank you, Anna, I appreciate it. By the way, did
you work over in a radio however, Kevin did? I
did Kevin?

Speaker 34 (01:24:23):
You did?

Speaker 1 (01:24:23):
You left?

Speaker 6 (01:24:26):
Kevin was? Kevin was an intern at JAILB with mister Chase.

Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
I didn't know you worked today.

Speaker 1 (01:24:34):
He went over to a shout out to the squad.
Did they lie to you like they always don't lie?

Speaker 6 (01:24:40):
No, ain't allowed to me, allowed to do.

Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
I got the job.

Speaker 2 (01:24:46):
Detroit Grand Rep.

Speaker 9 (01:24:50):
Hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.

Speaker 2 (01:24:55):
Mojo in the Morning, guaranteed you man, Mojo, I don't think.
Let me take you back to the beginning. This is
it alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 26 (01:25:16):
You're a doo doo.

Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
Heck we go, let's go Modio in the morning. Shannon
got a little, uh little issue with Thanksgiving. What's happening?

Speaker 4 (01:25:28):
Okay, So it's a weird year. It was a weird
year for Halloween. It's a weird year for Thanksgiving for
us as well. And I say that because I don't
have my kids, Lucy and Smith and my sister it's
her year to go to her in laws, and my
mom usually goes with them, and so it is looking
like it's going to be just myself and West and

(01:25:51):
maybe his kids maybe not. I don't we're not even
quite sure of what that situation is yet. He was
trying to figure that out last night. So well, he
mentioned the possibility of his sisters coming in from Canada,
but he's like, I don't. I don't know if this
is going to happen, Like, I don't know if we
should bank on this or plan on this, and I
like to be prepared.

Speaker 1 (01:26:11):
So yesterday I casually.

Speaker 4 (01:26:12):
Threw out the idea of having Thanksgiving dinner at one
of the restaurants here in downtown Detroit that is offering
a Thanksgiving dinner option. They looked at me like I
was a gremlin, Like, why we cannot have Thanksgiving anywhere
but at home? And I said, you guys, all of

(01:26:34):
the prep work and the shopping and the cooking which
I don't really cook, but I do help, and the
cleaning for two, maybe three, possibly four people is just
not worth it to me. But they are protastic. I'll
get leftovers from a restaurant, and I'm already.

Speaker 3 (01:26:52):
Here's the other thing.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
I'm already gonna be downtown because we do brunch and
we do the parade, and then I have to transfer
Lucian Smith to their dad because they go to the gates.
So like we're already to be downtown anyway, it would
be perfect to just hang.

Speaker 6 (01:27:05):
So each is all. That's not thanksgiven for me?

Speaker 1 (01:27:08):
That's what what That's what West said?

Speaker 6 (01:27:13):
Our phone lines down? Oh okay, yeah, hold on, I
say real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:27:16):
So here's what else. West said while he's figuring this out. No,
it's back, so our phone, our listeners, some listeners are
texting a bunch of listeners to text, and that the
phone lines went down.

Speaker 10 (01:27:25):
It's only because we had jingle ball tickets.

Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
So is that what it is?

Speaker 10 (01:27:27):
Sometimes? Just get overwhelmed?

Speaker 6 (01:27:29):
Okay, all right, all right, go ahead, Beck, I'm sorry.

Speaker 1 (01:27:31):
That's what West said. keV Is.

Speaker 4 (01:27:34):
He was like, I want to be respectful of other people,
and I want them to be enjoying Thanksgiving with their families,
not preparing my Thanksgiving meal, and I.

Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
Go bus We're already going to Hudson Cafe in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:27:45):
Yeah, yeah, So that it does not work.

Speaker 8 (01:27:48):
And he was like, oh yeah, and those people are
working regardless. If you're not there, someone else is there.

Speaker 6 (01:27:52):
So this is always a dilemma in our family too.
Because we did it last year.

Speaker 1 (01:27:57):
We went to the last year, I thought it was
my favorite Thanksgiving I had since Chelsea and I, you know,
we're young and had young kids, because I think, now
it's just a bunch of beefy kids that you're feeding
right now, it's just another freaking day feeding out and
mom doing all the work and then she complains and
nobody's helping her and all that stuff. So last year

(01:28:17):
we did the Lions game and we did Thanksgiving dinner afterwards.
It was the best Thanksgiving dinner Thanksgiving out and I
even ordered food Thanksgiving food from the place that we
had dinner at and I brought it home for leftover.
So I had extras that we can make stuff after.
We didn't have any pots or pans to clean. We

(01:28:39):
had the best time. The Lions game was unbelievable. Member
that that was awesome.

Speaker 7 (01:28:46):
Life is so much better when you can wake up
or you go to wherever they're cooking and you can
smell the food being prepared.

Speaker 6 (01:28:55):
You're missing all of that by going on.

Speaker 8 (01:28:56):
There doing it sounds like Kevin, you don't cook, So
this is what it's so fun for you. You don't
have to do anything. You just show up.

Speaker 1 (01:29:03):
That doesn't matter.

Speaker 3 (01:29:05):
Anyway, This is true. I help and I do the
place settings.

Speaker 1 (01:29:10):
That's my thing.

Speaker 4 (01:29:10):
But I agree with you and that I love having
Thanksgiving at home. I love having all of my family
with me. But if it's not going to look.

Speaker 8 (01:29:17):
Like that, what's the point.

Speaker 7 (01:29:19):
Yeah, listen, I remember a couple of years ago I
had Thanksgiving.

Speaker 6 (01:29:22):
It was just me and my girl.

Speaker 7 (01:29:24):
And I think it's that old adage where you know,
like the you know, house is not a home, like
that type of thing, like you make it your Why
was it just you and your girls?

Speaker 1 (01:29:33):
That's what we decided to do.

Speaker 6 (01:29:34):
You didn't wait, You didn't go to your families or
doing it.

Speaker 9 (01:29:37):
No.

Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
I think I probably saw them the next day or
something like that. But this was our time.

Speaker 4 (01:29:40):
It was like you know, saying, in a relationship, let's
let's let's do this together. I got it was great, Dad,
am my, stepmom. What they're doing they usually do it
with I don't know they've done it with us, They've
done it with friends. It's just a weirder and then
this this thought that Wes's family might and friends might
be coming in from Canada because they celebrate Thanksgiving on
They already celebrated Thanksgiving, but he was like, that would
be fun to have everybody in town and get a

(01:30:02):
chance to see them. But they don't know if they
may come, they may not. I'm like, look, there's going
to be a deadline because I need to prepare. I'm
not joking. I need to mentally prepare if that's happening.
So I'm like, by this Sunday, do you need to
figure this out?

Speaker 1 (01:30:17):
Do you get excited when he says that, or do
you go, oh, God, family's coming in? Because I always
wonder when I stay to Chelsea because I get excited
to see my family, but I always wonder if Chelsea's like,
I don't want to the family come in.

Speaker 6 (01:30:29):
I want it just to be us.

Speaker 4 (01:30:30):
I love having people come over, I don't love having
people stay. Oh, and especially right now, our house is
under massive construction because we had a bunch of we
have a pipe situation going on, so I have like
no ceilings and no bathrooms.

Speaker 1 (01:30:46):
It's nutty.

Speaker 4 (01:30:47):
And so I was told West, I'm like this, I
want everybody to come, but we'd you'd have to very
politely tell them our house is not stayable.

Speaker 1 (01:30:54):
They'd have to stay in a hotel.

Speaker 6 (01:30:55):
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
Thoughts on this eating out on Thanksgiving? Thoughts on this one?
What's going on? Pam High I, good morning.

Speaker 18 (01:31:07):
So Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and we've always done
it at like my mom's house. And my dad passed
away this summer and his memorial is on his birthday,
which is the day before Thanksgiving. And we've got grandkids
and siblings coming in from like four different states. We
are all going out to eat. Twenty five of us
are going out to a restaurant in Metamora. And then,

(01:31:31):
because I still like having people over, I'm hosting afterwards
a pie party. So everyone is bringing up that.

Speaker 13 (01:31:40):
I love that.

Speaker 4 (01:31:42):
Are you going to the white Horse Inn? By the way, Yes,
I didn't know that they did Thanksgiving. Shoot, that just
might have made the decision for me.

Speaker 1 (01:31:50):
Is that a good place? The white Horse Inn is iconic?

Speaker 25 (01:31:54):
Beautiful too?

Speaker 13 (01:31:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:31:56):
The oh my god, yes, it's so oh it is.

Speaker 18 (01:31:59):
You can miss Copler add a par party after at
the by party at the party.

Speaker 6 (01:32:03):
That's a great idea. Uh, what's going on, Kenny, how
you doing.

Speaker 27 (01:32:08):
Barn, guys, Shannon, make the dinner my dear my mom
the one year they just moved back from Florida, so
she didn't want to do a big dinner, and she
decided that she was going to get.

Speaker 1 (01:32:22):
Jimmy John's cater.

Speaker 25 (01:32:26):
Instead of a roast turkey. I had a turkey tom
on White.

Speaker 1 (01:32:30):
My god, you know what. That's so funny. You just
reminded me.

Speaker 4 (01:32:33):
One year my mom didn't want to cook, and so
she just ordered slows and my sisters and I I
love slows, but Thanksgiving I wanted Thanksgiving for and that wasn't.

Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
Thanksgiving for me.

Speaker 6 (01:32:44):
Imagine if it was Jimmy Johnson. That's a million, Oh
my god, dinner.

Speaker 25 (01:32:50):
It's worth it.

Speaker 6 (01:32:51):
Thanks Kenny, appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (01:32:53):
Uh, Laura, what did you guys do for your Thanksgiving?

Speaker 29 (01:32:57):
So last year and this year at the middle of October,
I ordered honey baked ham. I get the ham and
the turkey.

Speaker 44 (01:33:06):
So that a way you can have a little bit
of both.

Speaker 15 (01:33:08):
And you also get like size and stuff.

Speaker 29 (01:33:11):
Yeah, we did that so that in the oven and bam,
you're done.

Speaker 1 (01:33:15):
So we did it, and I thought it was that
was just Okay, the ham definitely. Their turkey is just okay.
I think you gotta have If you're gonna have turkey,
you gotta have like a big old turkey that looks
like a turkey boy. Yeah, and you got I want
I want to Yeah, but I want to see the
legs and I want to see the you know, the wings,
and I want to see everything.

Speaker 4 (01:33:35):
When you guys were growing up, did dad or mom
bring out that electronic kitchen knife?

Speaker 6 (01:33:43):
Yeah? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:33:45):
Actually, if you watch the ed Gean movie, you'll have
a whole different what's up, Hi, Martin, what's going on?

Speaker 16 (01:33:56):
Hey? Good morning, guys, Good morning.

Speaker 39 (01:34:00):
I used to live on a state for about twenty
years with my ex boyfriend, and one of the things
that we did in the holidays because we didn't live
near any family, is we didn't cook, like Denny's, eye
Hop and everything like that.

Speaker 1 (01:34:13):
I'm sorry, stop to stop your phone cut out. You said,
what would you You would go to Denny's and ie hop.

Speaker 16 (01:34:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 39 (01:34:19):
So we would go to Denny's and I Hop and
we would tip like the waitress like three four hundred dollars. Wow,
So cook, but we were also be thankful for the
service workers that were out there because I used to
be one, and it's just it's a good feeling.

Speaker 18 (01:34:33):
You know, you can meet new people.

Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
Get Denny's an eye hop on Thanksgiving. That's he says,
he cooks. Oh, they go into tip. Okay, all right,
So that's that's nice for you to do that. That's sweet.
That's sweet. I don't want to judge that that was
nice for you to do it, But if that was
your meal, I'd rather have Jimmy John's. Yeah, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 6 (01:34:53):
Hold on a second. What's what's up, Jersey?

Speaker 1 (01:34:55):
How you doing?

Speaker 45 (01:34:58):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (01:34:59):
What's up?

Speaker 45 (01:35:01):
What's up?

Speaker 43 (01:35:02):
I think Thanksgiving has to be at your house. To
do a huge Thanksgiving with my dad side of the family,
and it's just like fifty plus people.

Speaker 44 (01:35:12):
Everyone makes a dish and everyone like brings.

Speaker 34 (01:35:14):
It in, so it's not just one person at all.

Speaker 1 (01:35:17):
It is nice to have lots of people over on Thanksgiving.
It doesn't seem right when it's just a few people.
Like you can't sit at a you know, big kitchen
table and have like empty chairs.

Speaker 6 (01:35:28):
I like the idea.

Speaker 1 (01:35:29):
I like a Thanksgiving where you don't have enough chairs
and some people have to like, you know, sit on
the couch with their last Yeah, or like a coffee
table you have to pull or it's something like that,
you have to bring over an item that is not
necessarily an item to sit on. Yeah, those are great ones.
But I'm not gonna lie to you. Going to the
Lions game and then having a great meal afterwards is
freaking awesome. It really is. It was one of my

(01:35:50):
favorite things that the leftovers hit the same. Uh you
know what, the leftovers the next day are leftovers, They're
the same. Yeah, I agree, it's not the same. The
best leftovers are not the next day. The best leftovers
are at nine or ten o'clock that night when everybody
is kind of like just sitting there watching Elf or something.

Speaker 6 (01:36:08):
What's up, Jesse? Where do you guys go?

Speaker 21 (01:36:11):
We go to the Zenders every year.

Speaker 6 (01:36:13):
Oh yeah, Frank, do they have turkey or just the
chicken that they have?

Speaker 34 (01:36:19):
They have turkey and their shrimp is the bat.

Speaker 16 (01:36:24):
Noodles.

Speaker 7 (01:36:28):
She just closed her eyes and nothing says Thanksgiving like noodles.

Speaker 29 (01:36:36):
Thundered noodles are the bat.

Speaker 31 (01:36:38):
They haven't had the try out.

Speaker 1 (01:36:40):
Don't be mad at me for saying this, but that
place is way overrated. I feel like a crimudgeon this
one time, and you have hated on it for seven years.
We drove all the way up. When I first moved
here years and years ago and started doing this radio show,
everybody kept talking telling me about it. You gotta go,
you gotta go. We go up there in the free
can you know? The Christmas stuff was like a flea market,

(01:37:05):
you know what I mean, buying from the and thes
was like.

Speaker 15 (01:37:11):
Yeah, we do Slack Village, and we do them there
so because we have two kids.

Speaker 1 (01:37:16):
So it's just like the Black Splash. Village's the hotel
that has the water park and stuff. So all right,
you know what, I think? It's nice, happy, happy Thanksgiving.
What's up, Geneva, what's going on?

Speaker 39 (01:37:29):
Hey?

Speaker 24 (01:37:29):
First time, long time?

Speaker 39 (01:37:34):
Okay.

Speaker 33 (01:37:35):
So I live by.

Speaker 16 (01:37:36):
Roots parks and we have wild turkeys.

Speaker 32 (01:37:39):

No, wait a second, that's not going to be on
somebody's table, is it.

care about Thanksgiving, but they go out shopping that night,

it all together. Doesn't it over? You don't really do
that anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:39:22):
I miss those days.

Speaker 16 (01:39:24):
I don't like a big deal about it. If you
want to go out to eat, there's no stipulations that
need to be followed. Listen, if y'all come and come,
not off the end Mocho.

Speaker 1 (02:08:44):
There by, the way there's no that's the weird part
about these. iHeart offices there's no walls in, these offices nowhere. To,
hide yeah everything is. A, window yeah it's not like
we can hide.

Speaker 6 (02:08:55):
In anywhere our studio is also, Glass Too so i'll.

Speaker 9 (02:08:58):
Thank all the people spending extra time on their phone
in the bathroom to escape their.

Speaker 2 (02:09:02):
Crazy family This is mojo.

Speaker 1 (02:09:04):
In, The morning channel, nine five an. iHeartRadio station.

Speaker 8 (02:09:10):
It's time For.

Speaker 1 (02:09:10):
More mojo mojo In. The Morning it's mojo In the.
Morning show, All right so this is. Pretty wild is
it appropriate for him to be ending his messages with
hearts and? Kissy faces and this is my question.

Speaker 4 (02:09:23):
To you IS am i overreacting and making a big
deal out of something that shouldn't be made a?

Speaker 3 (02:09:29):
Big deal or?

Speaker 1 (02:09:29):
Is this is?

Speaker 3 (02:09:30):
This something so there is a GUY that, i know not,
a friend not a, family member.

Speaker 1 (02:09:37):
Truly like a business sort.

Speaker 4 (02:09:39):
Of relationship he's, very nice, very respectful but whenever he
sends me, a text he puts a bunch of kissy
faces and hearts emoji's at the end of.

Speaker 27 (02:09:51):
His.

Speaker 4 (02:09:51):
Text wow and AT first i, was, like OKAY like
i kind of didn't think anything. Of it and the
more and more, It happened, I'M like i feel kind.

Speaker 1 (02:10:00):
Of weird.

Speaker 4 (02:10:02):
About THIS so i said something to. My husband, i'm
like do you think that? That's weird and, he's, like
yes that is. Not appropriate and So now i'm like
uncomfortable texting with.

Speaker 1 (02:10:14):
This Person does wes know? This guy wes knows? This,
guy yeah he does?

Speaker 6 (02:10:18):
Know, him okay so is he a friend of? Your
guys there's friends.

Speaker 1 (02:10:21):
A friend and to keep IT how i, said, it
Okay because i'm.

Speaker 6 (02:10:24):
Trying to know how long have you known?

Speaker 3 (02:10:26):
This person mmmmm not, super long not, a year.

Speaker 6 (02:10:31):
No shorter than, a year and he's sending your hearts.

Speaker 1 (02:10:34):
And always start like that like first text messages or Did?

Speaker 4 (02:10:37):
HE no i think that's just. HOW like i think
he's just trying to. BE nice i truly don't think
that it that it means LIKE that i need to read.
INTO it i just think that's how. He Is but,
i'm like it makes me feel.

Speaker 1 (02:10:52):
SLIGHTLY uncomfortable i would feel weird if a guy was
sending my wife a text with hearts and kissy faces.
On it that wasn't like a buddy, of mine like
you KNOW what, i mean even a buddy, Of, mine
like why would you think? That's okay what part of
the CONVERSATION because i would assume he's sending me hearts
and kissy faces to you KNOW what, i mean he.
Clearly flirting that's often.

Speaker 4 (02:11:11):
LIKE relationships i really don't get that vibe because it
is not anything like.

Speaker 1 (02:11:18):
It is it's. Very, Business YE like, i said that's.

Speaker 3 (02:11:21):
Just how he ends. Each message.

Speaker 8 (02:11:23):
That's WEIRD sometimes i wonder if it's like a. GENERATIONAL
thing i don't know this, guy's age but there's a
similar thing happening to me where he keeps sending winky
Faces and, i'm like does this.

Speaker 1 (02:11:33):
Older man.

Speaker 8 (02:11:35):
He's probably like older fifties every Message and, i'm like.

Speaker 16 (02:11:42):
Do you not?

Speaker 1 (02:11:42):
Know face the.

Speaker 20 (02:11:44):
Blushing face, i'm like if the guy is, like grandpa,
you know sending it to you, like pops, your pops,
it's you, it's, cute right it's grandpa's doing it, to
something or if he's like your grandpa figure or something,
