Speaker 2 (00:05):
And hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Mojo in the Morning guaranteed human.

Speaker 4 (00:14):
Mojo.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Think one.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
God, let me take y'all back to the beginning. Alright,
you ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (00:32):
You're a doo doo ahead.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We don't we don't sure?

Speaker 5 (00:39):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. Anna had something
kind of interesting happened to you last night? You weren't
on a date, but no, you were home, just cozy
at home.

Speaker 4 (00:47):
And what happened?

Speaker 6 (00:47):
Sleep?

Speaker 7 (00:48):
Really so obviously we wake up very early, and I
go to sleep very early when I can. I want
to say, I fell asleep around eight pm last night
and was woken up at like nine thirty because my
phone just kept buzzing, buzzying, buzzy. Mind you, I have
it on do not Disturb, so if it's buzzing, I'm
feeling like something is wrong. I pick up the phone.
It's one of my best guy friends. He's gay, and

(01:10):
he's in the bathroom of a restaurant, like, oh my gosh,
I need you to call me in ten minutes because
I'm on this terrible date and I need to. I
need to leave, but I don't know how to say no.
So just act like it's an emergency and tell me
I gotta go. Like are you serious? You can't just
tell this man or like stick it through or something. Yeah,
got me thinking like how are you getting out of

(01:31):
a bad date? Or are you getting out of a
bad date?

Speaker 8 (01:33):
Also, it's that's such an obvious rate that the right,
but that guy is gonna know that he's just.

Speaker 9 (01:40):
Not having a good time.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Well he's getting well there.

Speaker 5 (01:42):
Here's the thing is all of a sudden if you
come back and sit down and then the phone call goes.
But if you go back and say, holy crap, I
just got a call from somebody that my friend's on
the phone right now with me, right, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 4 (01:52):
But so what did you do?

Speaker 7 (01:53):
I called him in ten minutes and I acted frantic.
I didn't even know what I was frantic about, but
I was like, I need your help right now. He
was like, don't worry, I'll be there in ten minutes.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
He is your friend A good actor? No, because that's.

Speaker 10 (02:07):
Worried about, Like if you're not a good actor, if
you can't play the role because you're the one in
front of the date. You're not the person on the
phone has to be the great actor has to be you.
Can you actually sell it if you're like, oh my god,
it's an emergency.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
Follow up today.

Speaker 8 (02:25):
If it was Mojo, your friend would be actually on
both ends.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
If I probably would forget to call you, it would
be such a bad one. Has anybody ever had to
do this for somebody or had to do it themselves
where they had to have somebody get them out of
it or call or do something like that, or what's funny? Yeah,
what's the excuse to get that they got you to leave?

Speaker 10 (02:48):
I be if you have a child, no matter if
it's a date, if it's a meeting, if it's something
you just don't want to do, you can always blame
it on your children.

Speaker 5 (02:57):
Well, I got to tell you my infamous thing always
is around here. Whenever we have like you know, the
afterwork stuff that sometimes pops up. We have this place,
by the way, does more we have more get togethers?
Have you ever noticed that? It's like, what is the
lot of good things? What's it called outlook calendar? What
is it called like when they send you in an
inn or something? I get these things. I'm like, what

(03:18):
the hell another one? So my whole my thing all
the time is I got doctor's appointment. I gotta go
to a doctor's right, what.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
Are we going to say that?

Speaker 7 (03:26):
I started using Mojo as an excuse, like, oh, I
gotta go shoot something. Mojo wants me to go get
a picture of this. Sorry.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
This is why people think that I'm, you know, a
bad boss or something.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
Eight four four Mojo live eight four four six six
five six five four eight. The text is nine five
five zero zero. Bringing up kids is always a is
a great one though. Man, if you got kids, you
ever use that, you ever use My son Josiah.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
Absolutely, just Josiah's sick. His mom just called me.

Speaker 10 (03:55):
Still got to run over there and grab something or
I just especially like as a parent, you know for
a fact that your children aren't always forthcoming with the
projects that they have at school. So you already know
the night before us, oh I need a poster board.
So you'd be like, oh my God, just just told
me that he needs a poster board, and like all
these sell out and what if she says, I'll go

(04:16):
with you, We're going.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
To get pothas I know, it's just where to go follow.

Speaker 5 (04:24):
Oh my god, what a great dad you are. I'd
love that, you know, I had to do this too.
What if that happens to you or she follows you
to go to.

Speaker 10 (04:33):
Wherever it is that you might be going, might be
more exciting than the date I was on.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
I'd be good.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
Bring Joe Siah with you next time. What's going on, Jennifer,
how are you? It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 11 (04:44):
Good morning guys. Back what I was single, my girlfriends
and I always just had a forty five minute role,
like the time that the date started. We always called
at forty five minutes because you know, you know, within
forty five minutes if you want.

Speaker 12 (04:56):
To spend much more time with that person.

Speaker 13 (04:58):
So it would be.

Speaker 11 (04:59):
Forty five minutes they would call, and you know, you
would say, yep, no, everything's great, mom, you know, yep,
we'll talk to you tomorrow and then or it would
be what, I can't believe that? All right, No, I'm
going to head home right now. So that's way it
wasn't obvious.

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yepes where the dates ever looking at you like you
were rude for picking your phone up in the middle
of the day.

Speaker 11 (05:20):
No, no, because it's moms.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Oh, because you're actually.

Speaker 14 (05:27):
A good time.

Speaker 11 (05:29):
Yeah, sometimes it felt a little longer.

Speaker 15 (05:31):
Let's be real.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Usually know.

Speaker 5 (05:36):
What's up? Thanks, you too, appreciate it. What's up? Seventy high?

Speaker 4 (05:40):
It's in the morning.

Speaker 16 (05:42):
Hey, good morning?

Speaker 17 (05:44):
Are you good?

Speaker 4 (05:46):
How are you fantastic? You ever do this.

Speaker 18 (05:49):
All the time?

Speaker 16 (05:51):
So right now I have a teenager. But when she
was little and I was dating, my sister used to babysit,
and I would text my sister her like on the
side and say, hey, call me and say that Ariel's sick.

Speaker 19 (06:06):
And then, you know, a.

Speaker 16 (06:07):
Few minutes later, she'll call me and she'll be like,
oh my god, Ariel's running a fever or she's throwing up.
I need you to come home.

Speaker 20 (06:14):
And then when.

Speaker 16 (06:15):
Ariel got old enough to have her own cellphone, I
would text her and say, Hey, call me and say
that there's an emergency and you need.

Speaker 18 (06:22):
Me to come home.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
You're teaching your daughter how to lie. Isn't that wonderful?

Speaker 19 (06:27):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Quick question, Stephanie, did you ever worry or did it
ever happen that your daughter became sick afterwards? Because I
could never kill my grandma off right, You know when
I was in school.

Speaker 14 (06:38):
Yeah, no, I mean I wouldn't kill anybody off.

Speaker 18 (06:41):
No, I know, but feel like anything bad like that.

Speaker 16 (06:44):
But yeah, I feel like sick isn't that bad?

Speaker 18 (06:46):
But she never got sick after.

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Yeah, my family would always have the bad karma feelings
with that. What's going on, Michael? How are you speaking
of grandma? You used your grandma as an excuse huh yeah, God.

Speaker 13 (06:58):
For ten years, but every time she didn't rushed to
the hospital.

Speaker 9 (07:04):
Wow, she got some medical issues.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
What was a bad date?

Speaker 19 (07:09):
Like?

Speaker 5 (07:09):
Give us an example of what a bad date would
be like that. You'd kill your grandma off.

Speaker 15 (07:13):
For just like just not being like interested, I always
on the phone and stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (07:21):
Did you ever run into somebody where they asks, hey,
how's your grandma?

Speaker 17 (07:26):
No?

Speaker 4 (07:27):
No, it never came back.

Speaker 5 (07:29):
Once they're gone, they are going I wonder if you're
the bad date, Michael.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Have you ever thought about that? Michael?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Maybe they were happy to know that grandma wasn't feeling well.
Thank you for the call, buddy, appreciate it. What's up, Michelle?
How are you?

Speaker 21 (07:46):
Oh good?

Speaker 15 (07:46):
How are you guys?

Speaker 5 (07:47):
We're doing okay. Anna had to be somebody's alibi. Yesterday
or I don't know what would you call it? Would
you call it a or skategoat skate?

Speaker 4 (07:56):
Yeah? What's up? Michelle?

Speaker 22 (07:59):
Well, I had the kind of a similar experience. I
was having a bad date, had my friend call tell
me that she was one babysitting my kid and that
I had to rush out to had a project.

Speaker 23 (08:11):
So I told this date I had to get out
of there.

Speaker 22 (08:14):
I had to go to Michaels. He needed poster board stickers, blue,
all this stuff. The date, oh my god, said.

Speaker 15 (08:20):
Oh I'll go with you.

Speaker 22 (08:21):
Oh no, I got a freaking go to Michael's. So
I go to Michael's and I'm getting poster board stickers, glue,
paint brushes, glitter, all this crap. Get up to the counter.
It's like eighty some bucks and I don't have my
credit card. And the guy I was trying to get
out of the date for whips' credit card out and
paid for the whole Oh my god.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
What a guy. So please tell me I did.

Speaker 18 (08:43):
End up going on another date.

Speaker 24 (08:45):
Yeah, he was a nice guy.

Speaker 22 (08:48):
Had eighty bucks for a crap.

Speaker 15 (08:49):
I did not.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
I was hoping that it was going to be one
of those uh as Shannon calls meat cutes or whatever,
like where are you guys all of a sudden getting married?

Speaker 4 (08:57):
And then it's a.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
Movie that Justin Belt and Blake Lively and they sue
each other.

Speaker 8 (09:04):
No, okay, it's usually Lacy Sebert and Minka Kelly and
somebody else.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
It's always the same. By the way, are the Christmas
movies back? Are they back?

Speaker 25 (09:13):
Oh?

Speaker 26 (09:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (09:14):
By the way, Champagne Problems on Netflix. Definitely want to
check out.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Really, it's a Christmas movie.

Speaker 8 (09:19):
It's a Christmas guys. It's very cute. I mean Less
watched it with me and he was into it.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Do I have enough estrogen in my body? You watch you?

Speaker 9 (09:26):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (09:27):
Okay, all right, hold on a second.

Speaker 5 (09:29):
It is Wednesday, and misfit Tony wants to say something.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
What's up missfit Tony?

Speaker 27 (09:36):

good mood, I wanted to call you. You welcome to
hunt day to you Mojo? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I hope
you get some.

Speaker 19 (09:52):
Listening.

Speaker 27 (09:53):
It's ironic that this is the topic because me and
my little brother I will you know, I won't say
his name. We call it do the thing, and we
get ten minutes, so we call one another. We like,
do the thing, bro. Ten minutes later we get that
call and we get to bail out.

Speaker 4 (10:10):
Wow, you don't even give him ten minutes, Tony.

Speaker 27 (10:13):
Oh no, no, no, just do the thing. We gotta
we gotta go cause you know your guy might not
show up. Yeah, you know you be ready and he not. Wow,
So you gotta bail out.

Speaker 5 (10:26):
I'm gonna start calling you ten minutes, Tony, and people
are gonna think for a different reason, Tony.

Speaker 19 (10:32):
Oh brother.

Speaker 27 (10:32):
And one more thing, Mojo, where'd your theme music come from?
Where did that come from? That's pretty cool?

Speaker 5 (10:38):
You know what I I can can I be honest
with you. It's somebody big and I don't even remember.
I always people will ask me from time to time,
and I'll call Fletch up because Fletch is our executive
audio imager, and so I'll I forget what it is.
Listeners will text me and I'll tell you in a second.

Speaker 27 (10:54):
Okay, that's opening music and radio talking about.

Speaker 28 (11:03):

take a break, Alyssa, what's up?

Speaker 24 (11:25):
I good morning morning.

Speaker 29 (11:28):

so obvious when you try to call get someone to
call you to get out.

Speaker 30 (11:36):

Speaker 29 (11:37):
So I have usually excuse that, like hey, like you know,
I have an emergency at work, like they're calling me
in like I have to go right now, And they're
always understanding about it because they fully understand the job.

Speaker 9 (11:48):
You have a job.

Speaker 31 (11:50):
To get out.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
Do you get away?

Speaker 5 (11:51):

Said they collectively heard folk screaming help every time you
stopped the song to get your attention.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Did you did you hear any of those screams?

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Man?

Speaker 32 (12:44):
And you know it's so crazy because I'm not I'm
not artist too, like you know, anytime you can hear
something like that, you want to stop the show. You know,
I stopped like a couple of times to just make
sure everybody was okay.

Shannon Well.

Speaker 8 (15:24):
Last night, at the President Center in East Lansing, Pat
fist Gerald was officially introduced as.

Speaker 9 (15:30):
The new head coach for Spartan Football.

Speaker 4 (15:32):
What's some sportation that sounds like a football coach, doesn't they?

Speaker 35 (15:37):
Yeah, like family and I are so honored to be Spartans.
We're so excited to be here tonight. You just made
the difference between the last two timeouts, right.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Listen, even close enough. Let's blow the roof out this
thing here.

Speaker 26 (15:51):
There's some big.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
Times so fast.

Speaker 35 (15:57):
It's great to be here. We're honored to be here
to thank all of you for your support today. It's
been incredible. Let's get this thing rocket.

Speaker 4 (16:05):
Tonight and then we're.

Speaker 35 (16:06):
Gonna get to work and let's get Spartan Stadium rock
in this fall.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
What do you guys say?

Speaker 8 (16:20):
So humbled to have this new title. And Tom Izzo says,
Fitzgerald is a good pay I think.

Speaker 36 (16:27):
What you saw in the court during a timeout. I
told him quiz screwing up my huddles. He had the
place rocking and rolling. I couldn't hear in that damn huddle,
So I told his wife to shut him up a
little bit.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
But that's pretty cool too, you know.

Speaker 19 (16:43):
He just.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
He just is on a mission.

Speaker 8 (16:48):
By the way, Michigan State not only has a new
athletic director a new headed football coach, but also as
of yesterday, the university announced a one billion dollar fundraising
initiative called for Sparta. And this is a plan for
pretty significant upgrades and renovations to all of the athletic
facilities across campus, including Spartan Stadium, the Center.

Speaker 9 (17:10):
So it's going to be of the art.

Speaker 4 (17:13):
You've seen any of the renderings they show.

Speaker 5 (17:14):
I was actually at the game last night, Kevin, by
the way, I heard you on television last night.

Speaker 4 (17:19):
Watch the energy. Thank you.

Speaker 10 (17:20):
The energy was incredible. Going to the new hire at
football coach. There have been two times in my basketball
life where I've seen someone move the crowd in such
a way where you couldn't miss it. Dan Campbell when
he walked into Little Caasar's arena last year, he just
felt the entire stadium have every single eye on him.

Speaker 4 (17:40):
Last night, mirror that really watching.

Speaker 10 (17:42):
This guy walk into the stadium, it seemed like everyone
knew he was there. All the individuals who represent the
Green and White screened his name and cheer from and
he seemed to awesome.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
You know what is wild is that you know in Spartans,
by the way, you guys definitely need to do some
upgrade Spartan stadium. And because it's tough when you're competing
in NIL. Not only do you got to pay the players,
but the players want to go somewhere where they know
they got great facilities. There is a vibe on campus
with Pat Fitzgerald that you got a synergy now between

(18:13):
the basketball and football programs, which I don't know what
it was like at all with Jonathan Smith if it was,
but it was like this with D'Antonio and Izzo, and
so this guy kind of reminds me a little bit
of D'Antonio in that gut regard.

Speaker 9 (18:26):
Full House Star and actually friend of the Mode in
the Morning show, Dave.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
Correer Ury is literally my prayers are in a family's
prayers and all of our show prayers.

Speaker 4 (18:34):
To the koli As.

Speaker 8 (18:35):
Yeah, David Melissa, his wife is amazing too. But he
was on the tod Show yesterday and said that he
is now battling tongue cancer, just months after he beat
non Hodgkins lymphoma.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
I was shocked.

Speaker 37 (18:47):
I went in for a pet scan, just a routine
check up to see how am I progressing, how am
I healing up? And the pet scan revealed something in
my throat right at the base of my tongue. Turned
out it was P sixteen squamous carsonoma, totally unrelated, and
it was like, really.

Speaker 8 (19:04):
He's been very very open about his cancer journey, and

Speaker 8 (40:44):
Okay, Okay, Dear Mojo in the Morning, my name is Denise,
and I'm writing this letter on behalf of my niece Aretha.
Aretha is a single mom and she is one of
those moms who never ever gives up no matter what
obstacles are thrown in her way. Thanks to her faith
in God, she tries very hard to make sure her

(41:07):
eleven year old son, Justin has everything he needs, and
that includes a roof over his head and rides to
and from school. They are currently living in a hotel
in Warren and do not have a vehicle. Justin's school
is all the way in southeast Detroit. This means a
lot of Aretha's income is spent on uber rides and

(41:31):
nights in the hotel. Mojo, please help this beautiful little
family and make life a little easier for them this Christmas. Sincerely,
Aunt Denise, here's.

and entering Christmas Wish wants to make sure that you
and Justin have a roof over your head and that
you guys don't have to be struggling so much.

oftentimes when you do a lot, you're the last person
to get anything. And one of the things that your
aunt said was that you have a faith unlike anything else,
and sometimes the only thing you can operate from is
not your current reality but the faith. And the better tomorrow,

(51:00):
the day is that tomorrow. This is an example of
what it means to have faith and to have people
that God sends into your life to show you just
how amazing you are.

Amen.

it was unbelievable. What's up and Hi?

Speaker 23 (52:49):
Hello, So there needs to be a change in all
of our traffic reports this time of year, something like
there's an accident on X roads. There's a slowdown on
Y roads. On all the other roads, everybody's slowing down
because they're either pulling over or pulling out their tissue
because you guys are literally affecting the flow of traffic.

Speaker 5 (53:08):
Yeah, it was pretty It was pretty special.

Speaker 17 (53:11):
One.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
That was definitely a special one.

get into jingle ball tickets and before we get into
the dirty.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
I know I'm running late.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
I had a long commercial break, but I also did
not want to go into commercials too early with breaking
and entering. I want to go back out to Bianca
for a second, because I really want to make you
guys aware or something. When we ask people will deliver,
and those people that deliver, we ask you to know
who they are so that when you're in need of

(54:36):
maybe a new car here in a little bit, or
a new to U car or pre owned vehicle, it's
got low miles and it's got a great set of
deals going on right now. I really want people to
know about Gravity Auto Sales because when we called Gravity
Auto Sales up and we said, hey, we got this
mam ma Retha and this son Justin, and these people
have been living in a hotel in ubering to and

(54:59):
from so that this young man could have a future,
can have a life, and this mom, you know, make
sure that she works multiple jobs to be able to
provide for him. When you know that this kid's future
is going to be better now because guess what, Mom's
not going to have to do. She's not going to
have to worry about how she's going to get him
to school. She's going to be able to personally drive
him up instead of having a complete stranger Uber driver

(55:21):
drive him. And I want you guys to know Gravity
Auto Sales Glenn is with Bianca.

Speaker 4 (55:26):
Guys. Are you there?

Speaker 1 (55:28):

you for what you did. I know this is costing
you personally money out of your pocket, but I'm telling
you twenty eight millionfold. God is going to repay you
with all the great things that He's got for you
and in store for you for your life because of
what you just did for that family. Was that an
awesome experience?

Speaker 1 (55:51):
Her smile alone was worth it?

Speaker 39 (55:53):
I mean seriously, I mean, I mean imagine yourself in
her spot, like she's literally paying she's going to work
so our son can go to school, you know what
I mean. It's like you can't get ahead, you know,
so this is definitely gonna help her get ahead.

Speaker 8 (56:08):
Just a reliability like having to rely on Uber you
know every single day, that's a that's a stress right.

Speaker 5 (56:14):
There, buddy, I think I thank you for what you
said when you said yes to this, but I thank
you also for stepping up even further than what we
asked for. And then I thank you for this morning
being part of this, and I also thank you for
your commitment to Mojo in the Morning and to this
radio show. Thank you for what you do.

Speaker 4 (56:31):
Buddy.

Speaker 5 (56:32):
I wish you nothing but the best and Merry Christmas
to you and your beautiful family.

Speaker 10 (56:36):
Thank you so much, and thank you for being an
example of what this season is all about.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Yep. Everybody's focused on what can I get?

Speaker 10 (56:44):
What can I get? What can I get? Your focus
on what can I give? And that's what this world
needs more of community, finding ways for people to help
people and not allowing everything to be transactional. World and
got too transactional, man, need to go back to relationship.
Shout out to gravity man. God, bless you guys grab

The Mornings, Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 5 (58:03):
All right, Shannon with what's trending in this morning and
the Dirty on the thirties.

Speaker 8 (58:07):
Well Sabrina Carpenter slamming the White House after it used
her song Juno as the soundtrack for a video showing
federal immigration raids by ice. This montage showed agents chasing
and handcuffing people all while Juno, her song, is playing
in the background. Sabrina called the post evil and disgusting
and tweeted, do not ever involve me or my music

(58:28):
to benefit your inhumane agenda.

Speaker 9 (58:31):
Well, the White House did him back down.

Speaker 8 (58:33):
A spokesperson responded to Sabrina and defended the deportations, tweeting,
here's a short and sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter, using
her own song, we won't apologize for deporting dangerous criminal,
illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Anyone who
would defend these sick monsters must be stupid?

Speaker 9 (58:52):
Or is it slow?

Speaker 8 (58:53):
And This little back and forth between the White House
and Sabrina Carpenter adds to a growing list of beefs
between the Trumpeo White House and several different musicians who
object have objected when their songs are being used without
permission to promote controversial policies.

Speaker 9 (59:10):
She is the most recent.

Speaker 8 (59:14):
I'm doing a shorter, dirty one to keep us on time,
but also because I really want to highlight this story.
This local man, his story has gone viral internationally, an
eighty eight year old US Army veteran from Brighton, Michigan.
The story is so sad, so sweet, has such a
happy ending. His name is ed Bambas, He was forced

(59:37):
to take a job at the myerstore in Brighton five
days a week, eight and a half hours a day
after the pension that he earned from his years of
service to General Motors was wiped out. He had retired
from GM in nineteen ninety nine with the expectation of
a stable pension. Well that didn't happen, because we all
remember what happened. In two thousand and nine, GM went bankrupt.
Many employees lost their pension and retirement benefits. Ed included

(01:00:00):
in there. Well, there's an Australian influencer named a positivity influencer.
His name is Sam Widenhoffer, traveled to Michigan, heard about
Ed and his struggles, met him at the Meyer store
in Brighton and shared his story.

Speaker 62 (01:00:16):
It's been quite the forty eight hours for eighty eight
year old Ed Bandis, who has suddenly skyrocketed to internet fame.

Speaker 7 (01:00:22):
Just seeing if I'm going to have helped scanning this.

Speaker 62 (01:00:25):
The video of him working at his job at Meyer
has now been seen by nearly four million people on TikTok,
But Ed isn't one of them. That You've been on
TikTok or Instagram and in the social media stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:00:35):
I've never been on those programs.

Speaker 62 (01:00:37):
I don't own his charming part of what made this
video go viral. His story is the main reason.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
Okay for General Mortars.

Speaker 4 (01:00:46):
In ninety nine twenty twelve, I went bankrupt and they
took my pension away from it. Do you have a wife?
She passed away seven years ago.

Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
I try very hard.

Speaker 35 (01:00:57):
Could go to a grave site every day, say Hill.

Speaker 3 (01:01:04):
How important is that part of your day for you?
It helpful to go through a day?

Speaker 17 (01:01:09):
It does.

Speaker 62 (01:01:10):
With debt to pay and his pension gone, Ed went
back to work after having thought he retired for good.

Speaker 63 (01:01:16):
Oh yeah, eighty eight year old in America should have
to work because they need to, and that breaks my heart.

Speaker 62 (01:01:22):
Sam Weedenhoffer is a positivity influencer on social media in
Australia and heard Ed's story from a comment on one
of his videos.

Speaker 63 (01:01:30):
She said, Hey, I just want to let you know
if as a guy called Ed or I think she
may have even said bolt and he's around eighty two
years old. That's all I knew.

Speaker 62 (01:01:40):
So Sam booked a flight to Michigan and teamed up
with a Metro Detroit based influencer to find him.

Speaker 64 (01:01:45):
So we walked around Mayer for about two hours and
we were looking for this friendly, jolly older man and
we ran on to add at the checkout.

Speaker 4 (01:01:51):
We knew it was him right away.

Speaker 62 (01:01:52):
The video has led to the creation of an online
fundraiser and donations are now pouring in from all over
the world. The goal is to help Ed retire for
good so we can instead spend more time with those
he want.

Speaker 8 (01:02:04):
So the Michigan influencer is a guy, you know, Mojo,
the basqu Watch Hunter guys, So they were part of it,
a couple of things. That story now has upwards of
eleven million views, and Ed's go fund me over a
million as of last night. I saw I checked it
a million. I mean, talk about showing up. Isn't that

(01:02:27):
an incredible incredible story?

Speaker 19 (01:02:29):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
That is I'm not gonna.

Speaker 8 (01:02:31):
So if you see, if you go to that, if
you go to the Brighton Meyer, make sure to say hi.

Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
Yeah, I know how long you're gonna be working?

Speaker 58 (01:02:37):
I know?

Speaker 8 (01:02:41):
All right for everything you missed from today's so go
back and listen to the podcast on the iHeartRadio app
get more Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 17 (01:02:48):

be able to listen to the show for a little bit.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
I love it. Thank you, Yeah, thank you guys so much.

Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone numbers eight four
four Mojoe Live the Texas nine five five zero zero.
If by chance you are ever listening to the show
and you hear something that we're talking about on the
radio and you say, oh my god, I got something,
you can text call me and Lydia will call you.
So just like you text your friend, hey call me
and your friend calls you right back, We're going to
be your friend and we want to call you back.

(01:04:20):
I feel weird saying this, but have you guys ever
done something just for something free? Like do you ever
also show a gift with purchase?

Speaker 19 (01:04:29):
You know?

Speaker 5 (01:04:33):
I had a friend of mine that last week was
telling me about or a couple of weeks ago, was
telling me about their experience they donated blood. And when
they donated blood, they said, it was a really quick experience.
They went in there, they were there for like ten minutes,
and then afterwards they had the most unbelievable snacks. They
had like all this free drink and food and all

(01:04:54):
this stuff. And I said to him, I go, you
did it for that? And he goes, I'm telling you, man,
you go in there and it was a maz So
I said to him, I go, you know what I
want to see it for myself. And I haven't donated
blood since I was in high school, and I used
to donate blood for donuts like they would actually Marris
High School, all guys school, this fat guy used to
donate his blood just for food. And so I said,

(01:05:15):
I'm going to do it just for the talk and
just for the h The idea of that that I
did it again and to help people, I mean, and
that too that could help.

Speaker 4 (01:05:25):
That came well.

Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
He told me those snacks were amazing, and guess what
he was wrong. They had like three bags of chips
and they had some welches, juice boxes always. Yeah, it
was the most depleted, uh, I don't even want to
call out, but it was a Red Cross. It was
the most depleted, uh snack area I've ever seen, saying

(01:05:50):
nothing gluten free for the gluten.

Speaker 9 (01:05:57):
Did you so you actually donate it though.

Speaker 4 (01:05:59):
I did took my blood already.

Speaker 34 (01:06:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:06:01):
They actually the lady poked me twice because you couldn't
find my vein.

Speaker 9 (01:06:05):
What's your blood? You know your blood type?

Speaker 5 (01:06:07):
Honestly, I don't know. I think I'm donuts. I think
I'm like something be positive or I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:06:13):
I don't know. We should probably know that.

Speaker 9 (01:06:15):
You should probably know your blood.

Speaker 4 (01:06:16):
I don't know mine either.

Speaker 5 (01:06:17):
I got it somewhere. I think I can look at
my portal on my.

Speaker 38 (01:06:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:06:23):
But I wanted to ask this question and I and
I wrote this out because I thought this was funny.

Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
Eight ur four Mojo Live.

Speaker 5 (01:06:31):
What's something that you did just for the free stuff
only to regret it afterwards because it wasn't as good
of the free stuff that you wanted.

Speaker 10 (01:06:40):
I went to Chicago when I was like in my
early twenties, me and the homies in Chicago. We walking
down a little Michigan Mile or whatever they call it,
having fun, having a great time. This person stops us
on the street and was like, hey, we got like
this grocery store thing upstairs. We're using people to see
which products that they'll go for. You get fifty dollars
after you do it, I'm like, let's go stairs and

(01:07:01):
get fifty dollars. We go upstairs, twenty aeth floor. We
get out of the elevator, sign a bunch of stuff,
walk in and they literally have what looks like a
Kroger inside of this office building.

Speaker 4 (01:07:11):
So we're going down and got.

Speaker 10 (01:07:12):
Like all the options you can think of I'm selecting
all my favorite cereals and things like that. I get done,
I'm thinking I'm about to get fifty dollars and my
mom I should have been like, is it cash?

Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
It wasn't cash. It was like something like cupon gift card. No,
only can be used at limited locations.

Speaker 29 (01:07:28):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
I love by the way, how sometimes they'll have that
thing set up where they have like a fake store
front and you go in there, you go. If they
had a real store like this, I would love it.
One of my experiences I'll never forget. When Chelsea and
I got married, we went and did a time share mine.

Speaker 8 (01:07:46):
I was so scammed. I was also stupid, but I
was so scammed.

Speaker 4 (01:07:50):
Oh it was the worst.

Speaker 17 (01:07:51):
It was.

Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
You ready for this one. Our time share presentation. Our
timeshare presentation was part of I think it was called
the Varsity Club or something like that premiere. And you
go to the timeshare presentation and you sit down and
you could buy a timeshare for a place in like,
I don't know, Cayman Islands or something. And if you
listen to them talk for like two and a half

(01:08:12):
three hours, you got a dinner for four at Ruth's
christ okay, and steak knives so and I said to Chelsea,
I can taste the butter on the steak right now.
I was there the whole time, and she looked at
me at one point and she goes, you realize that

(01:08:34):
you and I are wasting time. I go, no, no, Chelsea,
this is going to be great. We sat through the
whole thing and they gave us a gift card for
money off at reals.

Speaker 4 (01:08:45):
Those times ever, it was awful.

Speaker 8 (01:08:48):
Yeah, if you're at the airport in Mexico and someone
offers you a free Limo rock.

Speaker 27 (01:08:52):
Don't.

Speaker 9 (01:08:54):
Idiot that didn't It takes up half a day or
your vacation.

Speaker 4 (01:08:57):
You literally missed one full day of your life. Person.

Speaker 5 (01:09:00):
But yeah, it's funny. I have friends of mine that
have timeshares that love them.

Speaker 8 (01:09:04):
See, my friend Julie was the other idiot with me
that day and she actually bought the timeshare. I think
she's used it one day And this was like fifteen
years ago.

Speaker 10 (01:09:13):
Two and a half hours out of my however long
I'm going to be there, and that's not enough time.

Speaker 40 (01:09:17):
You know.

Speaker 8 (01:09:18):
What this reminds me of is a recent story about
those Target surprise bags that they passed.

Speaker 4 (01:09:22):
Everybody for.

Speaker 8 (01:09:25):
If you were I think it was the if you
were at certain Target stores, one of the first hundred
people in line that you got like a Tope bag
and it was filled with they like surprise goodies, you know,
and so because they wanted to reward their dedicated Target
customers or whatever, people were so pissed. It was all
crap like cards, yeah, cards, people.

Speaker 4 (01:09:51):
Overnight for this stuff. Oh my god.

Speaker 8 (01:09:53):
I think it was the first ten people in line
got the good Tope bags and everybody else just it's.

Speaker 5 (01:09:59):
Kind of like do it for the free T shirt,
you know. It's like I want to do it and
they don't even have your size. What's up, Gloria, how
you doing?

Speaker 29 (01:10:06):
Hi? Good morning?

Speaker 15 (01:10:07):
First time long?

Speaker 26 (01:10:10):
What's my first time calling in?

Speaker 29 (01:10:13):
I just had to call.

Speaker 42 (01:10:14):
In to tell you this story cause it's so hilarious,
so based off like it's so funny because you guys
were just talking about time shairs. So I had just
moved into my own home and I was taking care
of my sister and my son, and so I was
kind of low on cash because it was like my
first time, you know, handling bills and all that on
my own. This guy had been trying to talk to
me since high school, like always like in boxing me

(01:10:34):
like can.

Speaker 13 (01:10:34):
I take you out?

Speaker 15 (01:10:35):
Can I take you out?

Speaker 42 (01:10:36):
So, since I was going cash, I was like, well,
I need to eat dinner tonight, Like what are we
going to do?

Speaker 18 (01:10:40):
So I was like, cool, I'll go.

Speaker 42 (01:10:42):
On a date with him. I'll eat dinner and then
I'll bring the leftovers bag for my son and my sister.
Saved some money, so I went on a date.

Speaker 15 (01:10:49):
It was the worst date I've ever went on.

Speaker 26 (01:10:53):
He talked about I can't even say.

Speaker 18 (01:10:55):
It was the worst day.

Speaker 42 (01:10:55):
And then he's the worst part is he pulled out
a laptop and tried.

Speaker 24 (01:10:58):
To sell me a time shit, no lots, he did.

Speaker 18 (01:11:03):
Tell me a time share on a date.

Speaker 15 (01:11:06):
I was like, what is happening right now?

Speaker 26 (01:11:08):
Like it was so bad. I was I'm not even
a mean person, but I literally was like, hey, I got.

Speaker 42 (01:11:12):
To go to the bathroom and I just like snuck out,
like I just left and blocked him on everything I
could think of.

Speaker 4 (01:11:19):
Yeah, that's funny. How was the food though?

Speaker 26 (01:11:22):
Oh good?

Speaker 52 (01:11:23):
I ate as much as I could, as much as
I could.

Speaker 5 (01:11:28):
I'm not saying hold on, yeah you can't you can't
swear in the air there. Hold on, Lorie, I gotta
I gotta ask you, though, did you bring your leftover
bag to the bathroom with you when you took off?

Speaker 18 (01:11:37):
I had to leave it.

Speaker 26 (01:11:38):
I was so sad.

Speaker 4 (01:11:40):
That's horrible.

Speaker 18 (01:11:41):
I knew, I knew.

Speaker 56 (01:11:42):
I couldn't go back to that.

Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
Table, like, yeah, oh my god, what's up, Kiera? How
are you?

Speaker 5 (01:11:49):
It's Mojoe in the morning. You did it for the
free stuff, and the free stuff sucked. What's up?

Speaker 52 (01:11:54):
No, actually the free stuff didn't suck. O. The timeshare
singe them every single time. But I spent my timer.
They say sixty minutes, me and my husband with the
time on the phone. When sixty minutes is over, I'm
out of here with my stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:12:10):
Do you grab your gatial media behind this?

Speaker 64 (01:12:12):
Do?

Speaker 18 (01:12:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 52 (01:12:12):
I grab my gift. What's usually like the food gets
hurt or something like that, but it's usually the full
them out. I think they had to change it up because,
like what you guys are sending the coupons, I'm sure
they were getting bashed. Yeah, and we have the social
media where it's like, oh yeah, we'll go straight on
you know, Instagram.

Speaker 18 (01:12:26):
It's like they.

Speaker 52 (01:12:27):
Played me, so I think, you know, maybe they get
the fear of having to do right, but I get
it every time my girls eat like boys, so I
have to.

Speaker 9 (01:12:37):
Did you buy a time share?

Speaker 52 (01:12:41):
I actually, well, I usually I have one already, like
a vacation ownership wantwap as they call it. But that's
just like the sheratin. But it's actually not bad.

Speaker 26 (01:12:51):
I actually like it.

Speaker 29 (01:12:52):
We use it every year.

Speaker 52 (01:12:53):
But I always turned down the rest of the ones
because I don't have time for an extra bill right now,
so I just turn all the other ones.

Speaker 4 (01:13:00):
Thank you for the call. Appreciate you, Ali, what's up?

Speaker 65 (01:13:05):
When I was thirteen, so about twenty years ago, my
parents and my siblings denied. We all went on a
family vacation, and while we were in Florida, wanting to
go to Disney World, my parents set through a timeshare
presentation to get four free tickets to Disney World vacations.

Speaker 9 (01:13:21):
That doesn't sound like a bad one's that's a good game.

Speaker 5 (01:13:24):
Did you guys? Did you guys just stay in the
hotel or where were you guys?

Speaker 65 (01:13:29):
All five of us were sitting through the timeshare presentation
with the parents.

Speaker 5 (01:13:33):
Yeah, I mean those tickets are expensive to go into
Disney Jesse did something for free at Victoria's Secret. What
kind of freestyle was Victoria's Secret given away?

Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
So if you.

Speaker 66 (01:13:45):
Spend like a certain amount, you get like a free
blanker or anything. My husband took me there for my
birthday and we spent over two hundred dollars just for
a free blanket, and then they had, well we spent
a certain amount the same day that.

Speaker 67 (01:14:00):
You had to get to get a bag too, So
then my daughter decided that she wanted the bag, so
that my husband had to spend aboard just for some
bag and a blanket.

Speaker 5 (01:14:11):
Could you guys just bought the bag and blanket yourself
for cheaper?

Speaker 29 (01:14:16):
I have no clue.

Speaker 4 (01:14:18):
You don't even want to think about that, but it
is kind of true, like when they're Black.

Speaker 15 (01:14:22):
Friday, Yeah, blax Friday.

Speaker 60 (01:14:24):
And he was just like, whatever, just get what you
want to get.

Speaker 9 (01:14:26):
I don't want I can get out of here.

Speaker 5 (01:14:28):
I remember we stood in line one time for a
TV where like it was a free you get a
free TV turned out to be a nineteen inch television
that weighed about eight hundred freaking pounds.

Speaker 4 (01:14:39):
It was free, it was a free grab Jamal, what's up?

Speaker 59 (01:14:45):
Hi, Hey, how you doing guys?

Speaker 4 (01:14:48):
Good man? What's going on?

Speaker 15 (01:14:50):
So?

Speaker 68 (01:14:52):
I heard Sennon mentioned the uh that Target first hundred
giveaway thing. Yeah, yes, my wife just did that and
she actually won on the Ninja's slushy machine.

Speaker 19 (01:15:02):
I guess it was like the yeah, the most expensive.

Speaker 4 (01:15:05):
Uh that's great.

Speaker 19 (01:15:07):
Yeah that you can win through it.

Speaker 59 (01:15:09):
Yeah, so I know you said that you get it.

Speaker 27 (01:15:12):
It was a lot of people that that was pissed
about it being a bunch of crap.

Speaker 59 (01:15:16):
But I guess she got the most expensive one.

Speaker 4 (01:15:20):
Did you guys use it yet or is she going
to give that to somebody?

Speaker 54 (01:15:23):
Oh?

Speaker 59 (01:15:23):
Yeah, she used it for mimosas she used this. I
like that kind of alcohol.

Speaker 30 (01:15:28):
I want to be right out in the box the
first day.

Speaker 9 (01:15:31):
The slushy Yeah yeah, I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
Yeah that's the way you do. Who needs bananas and strawberries?

Speaker 17 (01:15:37):
Now?

Speaker 5 (01:15:39):
Do you guys ever go to stores and the stores
will say if you spend say you spend three hundred dollars,
you'll get forty dollars off, or fifty dollars off. If
you spend six hundred dollars you'll get one hundred and
fifty dollars. Did you ever do that the percentage well, yeah, yeah,
they were doing that on Black Friday, and they were
doing that at the Grayson store. Yeah, and then it

(01:16:01):
always worked out and I was Nick was the guy
checking me out, and as Nick's checking me out, it's
like if you spend if you spend forty two dollars
and sixty four cents, you can get five hundred dollars off.

Speaker 4 (01:16:12):
Yeah. I couldn't find the forty two dollars would be
some sensing.

Speaker 5 (01:16:16):
So I ended up spending another one hundred and some
dollars just to get and I'm like going, hey, got
But there was a game that was like my.

Speaker 8 (01:16:22):
Sister and brother in law who did that thanks Giving.
They went into the Grayson store. My sister's like, well,
I got a hat because if we spent twenty five more,
She's like, I searched the store personal that was less than,
you know, forty dollars.

Speaker 4 (01:16:35):
I'm like, you have buttons here? Like what do you
keep going on?

Speaker 38 (01:16:40):
Why?

Speaker 54 (01:16:40):
Detroit?

Speaker 17 (01:16:42):
Next most your Grand Rabbits.

Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
And hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun,

Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
Let me take you all back to the beginnings. Alrighty ready,
you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:17:11):
You're a doo doo ahead, let's go. Hey, thanks for
being here at the Mojo in the Morning. We had
a breaking enter in Christmas wish that happened an hour
ago that literally I'm still crying from I filled up
this Sorry, Gina the cleaning lady, I love you so much,
but I filled up this little basket with a bunch

(01:17:34):
of klean x uh. If you're going to go back
and listen to the podcast that or later today, Tristan
and Bianca are going to put up a video that
is a must watch because the TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and
Facebook lives that we had the comments are just unreal.
On Aretha and justin this mom and Son you tomorrow

(01:17:57):
are going to have War of the Roses busting a
cheater tomorrow morning. Make sure that you're listening to the
Mojo in the Morning show for that. Also coming up
this hour on the show, I want you to listen
for Sick of being a Doormat from Shannon Have with
the Worst Christmas Gift and the second date update. Why

(01:18:19):
are you not getting a call back after you went
on a date We're going to have all that and
more this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
It's Mojo in the Morning Show.

Speaker 5 (01:18:26):
I start off this break with Shannon and Shannon is
sick of being the doormat.

Speaker 8 (01:18:34):
Well, this is something that I know about myself, and
that is that I am a people pleaser to the
to a tee, to the definition of it. I actually
say I'm a recovering people pleaser because I'm trying very
hard to have better boundaries and not care so much
about what people think about me or if people like me.

(01:18:56):
But that is a very, very hard thing that I
have struggled with my whole entire life, and I have
done it to myself in terms of making my life
harder by not putting my foot down in certain situations
and with certain people. And I feel like lately it
has caught up to me to a point where I'm like, Okay,
I have to take a step back and work on this,

(01:19:20):
Like this is something that I've been working on with
my therapist, with myself.

Speaker 9 (01:19:24):
But it's so interesting to me because now.

Speaker 19 (01:19:27):
That I am.

Speaker 8 (01:19:29):
Like putting my foot down and having better boundaries and
saying no, we're telling people, you know what I really
think about something, I feel like I'm coming off like
a huge batch, and people are so taken aback by
the change.

Speaker 4 (01:19:45):
In me, and people meaning like the friends, family.

Speaker 9 (01:19:50):
And friends people here at the radio station.

Speaker 8 (01:19:55):
Where normally I feel like I will go above and beyond,
I will bend over backds, I will, you know, say
no to a lot of things personally to say yes
to other people. And I just have gotten to a
point where I can't do it any I can't do
it anymore. It's killing me and it's having some really
bad effects on my mental health and my life.

Speaker 9 (01:20:18):
And so I'm like, okay, you know, moving forward.

Speaker 8 (01:20:20):
I joked about this a week or two ago and
I said, I'm in my zero I give zero F's era.
But this is really me saying like I have to
stop being a doormat for so many people, because that's
exactly the way I feel.

Speaker 4 (01:20:33):
What has made you change? What is it or what
is it that woke you up that you need to change.

Speaker 9 (01:20:40):
A lot of things?

Speaker 8 (01:20:42):
A lot of things having to do with my kids,
a lot of things having to do with my time,
and just realizing like I can't, I can't do it anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:20:54):
Yeah, point I hae your wits in Have you been.

Speaker 5 (01:21:01):
You know, and I know that this has been going
on for a long time with you because of you
and I have both shared that I feel like I'm
also sometimes you please other people all the time, and yeah,
you want.

Speaker 8 (01:21:12):
People to like you, you want to be like you
want to be nice, you want I truly want to
do things, you know in a lot of situations for people,
and I want to be flexible. But it just it's
it's having some negative effects for me.

Speaker 17 (01:21:27):
Now.

Speaker 4 (01:21:27):
Who bore the brunt of the first part of you
not being the doormat or in the not giving an f.

Speaker 8 (01:21:33):
Stage, Well my husband always, but my ex husband too.

Speaker 5 (01:21:40):
Yeah yeah, where you just kind of said this is
enough is enough? Yeah, yeah, it's interesting. Good for you,
by the way, but.

Speaker 8 (01:21:48):
It's making me feel like not nice, but I am uncomfortable.

Speaker 9 (01:21:54):
I like MOJOI.

Speaker 8 (01:21:55):
You and I talked about this, like, I know I
did this to myself where I have a pattern of
being this way. And you know what else is crazy
too And this really opened my eyes is I see
this quality in my daughter Lucy, and I do not
want that for her. I want her to be kind,

(01:22:15):
but I also want her to have very firm boundaries.

Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
Yeah, I love that you know, it is interesting when
you start seeing it and your kids and you go,
this is generational, this is and you're passing it down.
Getting older is actually good, I hope. Sometimes people don't
want to get older. I mean, obviously, you know, we
shoot ourselves with botox or whatever we possibly can, but
get when you get older, you kind of realize a

(01:22:41):
little bit of you know what. You look back on
your life and you're like, I don't want to do
that anymore. Yeah, because I think you start seeing things
where it's like, especially as your kids grow older and
they get older, like you're having less time with them
than you ever had, and you're like, you're being a
pleaser is taking away from the people that you should

(01:23:03):
be pleasing.

Speaker 10 (01:23:04):
I think also as you start to get older, you
start realizing or you start asking yourself the question, who
am I living my life for? Because what's happening is
I'm sacrificing my truth, my happiness, and ultimately my reality
because I'm not living a real life. I'm living a
faker version of myself trying to make sure that everybody
else is. It's like building a house of cards, like

(01:23:27):
it's a structure, but at any moment it can fall
because it's not being built on anything substantial infirm.

Speaker 9 (01:23:32):
It just feels very foreign to me.

Speaker 8 (01:23:37):
And I keep saying to Lydia because I love like
Lydia to me has the greatest person.

Speaker 9 (01:23:42):
I feel like she wasn't always like that though, No, Lydia,
help me, help me do that when she.

Speaker 4 (01:23:50):
Wasn't even like that.

Speaker 5 (01:23:51):
No, Lydia, when you first started here at the station,
you were everything yes, and you had to start saying no.

Speaker 69 (01:23:58):
Well, you were the one who told me that you're like,
this is how my former producers have been and they
put their foot down. And I was never that person.
I let people walk all over me now absolutely not Nope.
Do you think it's made your life easier, Lydia, Absolutely
because people know that there's boundaries they can't cross with me.

Speaker 5 (01:24:15):
I wonder what it is from our childhood, Like I
was thinking about this with Shannon and you know myself,
Lydia and stuff. There had to be something, you know,
there had to be something with your maybe your parents
getting divorced or something like that. You always felt like
you wanted to make everything happy and.

Speaker 8 (01:24:29):
Want everybody to like me to being the quote unquote
nice one all the time, and it's like and.

Speaker 5 (01:24:34):
You analyze that, and then you look at your kids
and then you say, you know you're talking about with Lucy,
which I'm going to tell you something good for you
and recognizing that because sometimes you don't recognize that your
kids are being you and not taking your your good things,
but taking some of your bad things too, And you
realize it and you're like, you know what, enough, man,

(01:24:56):
I don't want them to go through what you have gone.

Speaker 7 (01:24:58):
Through, you know the change?

Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
Yeah, absolutely, and and you do not want them to
be taking advantage of like you've gotten taken advantage of, Katrina.

Speaker 4 (01:25:10):
What's happening? Shannon is no longer the doormat Good.

Speaker 60 (01:25:15):
Morning, Shannon Mojo in the morning, Hi.

Speaker 6 (01:25:17):
Katrina, I just wanted to tell Shannon Hihn.

Speaker 60 (01:25:20):
I wanted to tell you, honestly, girls, do what I did.
Stop doing things for people, and you will see them
walk out that door because you don't need those to
go out in your life. Those are the people that
wanted you just for what you gave them and offered.

Speaker 5 (01:25:31):
Them interesting because they loved you interesting. The true people
that love you will stay.

Speaker 56 (01:25:37):
Huh Mojo.

Speaker 60 (01:25:38):
That was my content on TikTok. I started making videos.
I have over one hundred thousand followers because of what
I say and do, because I don't let anybody talk
down to me anymore, or me or my son, Like
I have a son with autism, and that's exactly what
I started doing. I started doing stop doing things for people.
And you should see how people start like reacting towards you.

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
What's your TikTok? You want to shout it out?

Speaker 10 (01:25:59):
Uh?

Speaker 60 (01:25:59):
Sure, train of official.

Speaker 26 (01:26:01):
It's all about my son, all right.

Speaker 4 (01:26:03):
Trina official?

Speaker 5 (01:26:04):
And do you find your Do you find yourself having
more time for your son now because of that?

Speaker 16 (01:26:13):
Because you know what, the people who.

Speaker 60 (01:26:14):
Only show up for the people that I don't need
to ask anymore, and those are the people that.

Speaker 52 (01:26:18):
I need in my life.

Speaker 5 (01:26:19):
I kind of like the idea that when you finally
start sticking up for yourself, the people that were only
there for the the you know, the the good stuff
they got from for themselves will end up leaving you.

Speaker 4 (01:26:31):
It's funny the other people.

Speaker 5 (01:26:32):
I feel like this, when you start standing up for yourself,
the other people show more respect for you.

Speaker 9 (01:26:37):
Really, that's what's gonna come from.

Speaker 4 (01:26:40):
I will say this. My wife is somebody that I
literally aspire to be. I really do.

Speaker 5 (01:26:46):
She's she's amazing, and I will say that she's I
think she's more attracted to me when I put my
foot down on stuff because she knows that she's going
to get the best of me and not the scraps.

Speaker 54 (01:26:56):
What's up, Amanda, Hye, Shannon, don't you dare ever feel
bad for protecting yourself and protecting your peace.

Speaker 6 (01:27:07):
In the long run, it is going to help you
so much.

Speaker 28 (01:27:11):
I had to learn this.

Speaker 6 (01:27:12):
About myself as well. I even put myself in credit
card debt just to help someone and didn't realize that
they were taking advantage.

Speaker 26 (01:27:20):
And it was when I went through my divorce that.

Speaker 6 (01:27:22):
I realized I had boundaries and who I was. And
ever since I put my foot down, I actually have
more respect from people. And just like the last caller said,
those people who were taking advantage have disappeared, and it
was because they were only using.

Speaker 4 (01:27:40):
Me for what they needed.

Speaker 6 (01:27:42):
And ever since I've done that, things have gotten so
much easier, and I've been able to teach my kids
do not let people take advantage of you and walk
all over you, because that's when you're going to find
those nasty people in the world that don't need your
time and energy, and you don't ever need.

Speaker 15 (01:27:58):
To feel bad for that.

Speaker 4 (01:28:00):
Good job, Amanda, That's awesome.

Speaker 54 (01:28:04):
It's an amazing thing to figure out in life ahead.

Speaker 70 (01:28:08):
I put myself and I'm telling you, and I put myself.

Speaker 6 (01:28:12):
In credit card debt just as a family member, and
ever since I stopped hopping them and enabling their bad habits.
Actually my relationship is grown with that person.

Speaker 4 (01:28:24):
That is incredible. Kelly, what's up? It's Mojoe in the morning.
Hi Kelly, good.

Speaker 70 (01:28:29):
Morning, How are you good?

Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
What's going on?

Speaker 70 (01:28:32):
I was just calling in to say, like, growth doesn't
happen in your comfort.

Speaker 26 (01:28:36):
Zone, and if something makes you feel.

Speaker 70 (01:28:39):
Uncomfortable, that just it means you're growing. And it's not
it's weird, but it's it's true. It's happened to me.
I can't really give specifics right now, but yeah, yeah,
just growth doesn't happen in your comfort zone. So way
to go putting your foot down on staying noticed stuff,
because I've had.

Speaker 56 (01:28:58):
To do that too.

Speaker 70 (01:29:00):
People pleaser and I like to do all the things,
but when you sit down and think about.

Speaker 42 (01:29:06):
All those things costs.

Speaker 70 (01:29:08):
And and then you feel bad to say no to people,
but you have to. You have to do it for
your own peace.

Speaker 5 (01:29:14):
Yeah, my wife always says, when you when you say
yes to others, you're saying no to the people that
truly love you.

Speaker 8 (01:29:20):
And it wasn't even about it's not necessarily only about
saying yes or no to things. It's also about, you know,
saying that I'm okay with something, and then after I
say it going good, you know, knowing that that was
not what I actually wanted to say. And so that's
where I'm like, I just need to like actually say

(01:29:41):
what I'm thinking and feeling instead of just trying to
be quote unquote cool about it.

Speaker 10 (01:29:46):
I ran somewhere once they said value your relationships, but
don't ignore your values to keep them, And that's that
boundary situation. Like, as long as you can look in
the mirror and be comfortable with who you are, that's
the most important thing. But once you start changing who
you are in order to save quote unquote the relationship

(01:30:06):
you think is worthy to be saved, then that's where
it becomes a problem.

Speaker 5 (01:30:10):
I want to end on Kathy because I think Kathy's
pretty emotional about this whole thing.

Speaker 4 (01:30:16):
This made you tear up hearing this. Kathy, Oh yeah, Hi,
Hi Joe. What's going on? Kathy?

Speaker 18 (01:30:21):
I Shannon, I've met you a few times.

Speaker 26 (01:30:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 18 (01:30:26):
I as soon as I heard this, it's like, yes,
this needs to be talked about more. I turned sixty
this year in May, and I saw I listened every
single day for years now, and I've seen so much
of me, You and I not like we're the same,
but when I was I'm sixty now, when I was

(01:30:48):
your age, a lot of things went. You've been going
through in your life with a new marriage with an ax,
the family, the children, everything and everything. I'm like, oh
my god, I see a lot like we're very similar.
So the point to last year, leading up to my
sixtieth birthday, I just really got the point. I'm a

(01:31:11):
people pleaser, I have my whole life, and I really
made a choice, a conscious choice too. I don't even
know what the words would how how it happened, but
I really just.

Speaker 19 (01:31:27):
Had to.

Speaker 18 (01:31:29):
Not feel guilty about it. That's what I would say
to you. You can't feel guilty about it.

Speaker 4 (01:31:36):
And it took you to it gets easier. It took
you to sixty. Shannon's doing Shannon's doing this amazing.

Speaker 18 (01:31:42):
Yeah, that's that's another thing positive, Shan and I could
it's something that is calling. It's great for you. Sorry,
I'm just I am a little emotional, but I'm walking
around cause I was getting nervous. I've talked to you
guys on the phone a couple of times. I see that.
So when you said that brought me to tears.

Speaker 19 (01:32:01):
That yay, Shannon, Yea, that is cool.

Speaker 5 (01:32:08):
That's a really awesome Kathy. And you know what, Kathy
is never too late right now a fact. Now now
you've got the rest of your life.

Speaker 18 (01:32:17):
Oh, it's so much nicer. And yeah, it's just it
takes practice and not allowing another people get used to it.

Speaker 56 (01:32:30):
We need no no no no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no no
no no no no no no no no no no no.

Speaker 38 (01:32:42):
We got it.

Speaker 4 (01:32:43):
We gotta record, Kat come on, no, no, no, I
love you.

Speaker 17 (01:32:53):
Bye.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
The guy you were eating was fun until the hook up.
Now he's ghosting you.

Speaker 17 (01:32:58):
What happened to find out?

Speaker 3 (01:33:00):
Second in the morning.

Speaker 5 (01:33:04):
I want to real quick just to give you guys
an idea of what we got planned for you. At
our jingle Ball and then I'll get in a second date.

Speaker 4 (01:33:13):
Update.

Speaker 5 (01:33:15):
So jingle Ball tickets are on sale right now. You
guys know that we've been talking about jingle Ball now
for it seems like the last few months Nelly in
Shinedown are headlining. But that doesn't mean it's only Nelly
in Shineedown. It means that for the price of a
ticket to go to jingle Ball, if you haven't gotten
your ticket yet, there are still great seats available on Ticketmaster.

(01:33:36):
You will get those two headlining. But beforehand you will
get big X the plug Conan Gray. You'll get Raven Lenney,
who's got one of the biggest songs on TikTok right now,
Jesse Murph Molly.

Speaker 4 (01:33:51):
You also have.

Speaker 5 (01:33:54):
Freys Guy, who so many people are telling me she
is just the cutest thing in the world. Posted her
little plug that she's going to be there in performing
Oh my God, Like she's gorgeous and she sounds they
say so pure, and it like her voice is just wonderful,
Like she's got a Gracie Abrams feel to her, and

(01:34:16):
she's gonna help us also host this thing. K Pop
demon Hunter Sands, You guys are gonna be there singing
along with Hunter Tricks. I mean, that's the biggest show
of the year, and of course probably the biggest song
of the year. I don't even know what the number
one song is of this year, but I think that
that might be up there as one of the top
ten songs of this year. And then you're gonna have

(01:34:39):
Shine Down, who sells out Little Caesar's Arena, along with Nelly,
who can sell out DTE Energy Music Theater and did
this summer, all performing on one stage, and the stage rotates,
so there's no waiting around. This isn't like one of
those concerts where it's like we got to wait in between,
you know, opening act and the main act, like you know,

(01:35:00):
five hours. It seems like it just keeps rotating all
of us, along with every you know on air personality
from all of our stations. Mike's going to be in
from Grand Rapids. I know Joe shows coming in, so
they're going to be there. Ej is already. I think
he might be in town right now. I don't even know.
The guy's always flying all over everywhere. And it's going

(01:35:25):
to be such a great night, like it is going
to be like the Christmas party that we always wanted.

Speaker 4 (01:35:28):
To every Yeah, yeah, you know what, we call this
a banger. It's a banger. It's a banger. This is
a bank. Shanna's point, the last few years I've been
there has been a banger.

Speaker 38 (01:35:39):
Bro.

Speaker 4 (01:35:40):
Absolutely, it's a good ass.

Speaker 54 (01:35:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:35:43):
It was funny yesterday because this is Anna's first and
Anna goes so like, what do we do? And I said, Anna,
we get up on stage and we do it. She's like,
oh my god. She was like I was showing her
video and stuff, and then she's like, do we get
to interview the artists? Like Anna, we don't only get
to interview the artists. Basically, we get to hang with
them and they're dressing rooms. We get to like do
a whole broadcast for anybody that doesn't have tickets to

(01:36:06):
go to the show and can't get tickets to the show,
we get to do it on the air on Channel
nine to five five in Detroit. So if you're driving
in from Grand Rapids or Toledo or wherever, make sure
that you have the pre show on and the post
show that we'll be having.

Speaker 4 (01:36:20):
And then the next morning we come in and we
and everybody has ivs we recap it. Everybody has them.

Speaker 5 (01:36:29):
Get your tickets at ticket Master and do us a
favor be with us on Tuesday at Little Caesars and
be part of our jingle Ball. Jingle Ball Detroit presented
by Capitol One. I will say this to you. I
was really excited a couple of years ago when Usher
was going to be part of the same and then

(01:36:50):
the Backstreet Boys.

Speaker 4 (01:36:51):
I remember that year. I was so excited.

Speaker 5 (01:36:52):
I actually was sick as a dog that year, but
I remember how excited Misfit Victor was to go to
that and hang with those guys. This year, I went
into it going, yeah, I kind of like Nelly and
I'm kind of in this, you know, shine Down's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:37:05):
But I wasn't like excited, you know.

Speaker 5 (01:37:07):
And as it's gotten closer, Big X the Plug has
become the number one song in the country right.

Speaker 9 (01:37:12):
Now, so obviously many yeah that's number one, uh.

Speaker 4 (01:37:15):
The one with Yeah, And.

Speaker 5 (01:37:22):
To know that we all get to just hang out together,
and it's very rare that we get an opportunity, even
though people may think this, it's very rare that we
get to go up on a stage at Little Caesars
Arena in front of a sold out crowd of you know,
eighteen to twenty thousand people.

Speaker 9 (01:37:37):
I'm already very nervous. I get very nervous.

Speaker 4 (01:37:39):
It's awesome.

Speaker 10 (01:37:40):
It is gonna be dope, man, eight eighteen thousand of
your best friends. Ticket Master, get your tickets, don't buy.

Speaker 5 (01:37:46):
Don't go buying tickets from secondary markets because there's still
are great seats available. And I'm being honest with you,
don't you know if you want like somebody who already
bought maybe the front couple of rows or whatever, and
you want one of those tickets, yeah, okay, you got
to do that, but you could still get great seats available.
Like I was looking at some of the sections like one,
there's still seats available that are you know, fair market

(01:38:09):
value price. So ticketmaster dot com. All right, enough of
me getting excited about jingle Ball.

Speaker 17 (01:38:14):
Enough, it's the second date.

Speaker 4 (01:38:16):
Let me hold on a second, maybe not.

Speaker 19 (01:38:18):
Let me.

Speaker 4 (01:38:20):
Talk a little bit, bro telling you.

Speaker 17 (01:38:23):
It's the second date.

Speaker 3 (01:38:24):
Update module in.

Speaker 4 (01:38:25):
The morning, all right, why are you not getting a
call back.

Speaker 5 (01:38:28):
We're going to find out Cameron is getting ghosted after
going out on a date, and we're going to find
out what's going on today Cameron.

Speaker 4 (01:38:36):
How you doing, buddy?

Speaker 13 (01:38:38):
Yay, I'm all right.

Speaker 4 (01:38:39):
What's going on doing? Okay? So you guys were met online?

Speaker 19 (01:38:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:38:45):
I met her on Tinder. Okay, met on Tinder.

Speaker 5 (01:38:48):
What did you guys do on your dated Wings game?

Speaker 10 (01:38:53):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:38:53):
Okay, last night?

Speaker 29 (01:38:55):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:38:55):
So we went to a Red Wings game and then
after the game was over with what'd you guys do?

Speaker 58 (01:39:03):
I mean, we didn't kiss or anything.

Speaker 4 (01:39:05):
I just brought her home and that was it, and.

Speaker 38 (01:39:07):
That was it.

Speaker 4 (01:39:09):
Okay, Yeah, what do you do? Do you hug her?
Did you give her like a little hug?

Speaker 34 (01:39:14):
Yeah?

Speaker 58 (01:39:14):
I went in for the hug because you know, I
thought she was cool.

Speaker 7 (01:39:17):
Do you think the vibes were good at the game, like,
were you guys getting along?

Speaker 27 (01:39:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:39:23):
I thought it was really good.

Speaker 58 (01:39:24):
I don't I don't really know what's going on because
it seemed like good vibes and she seemed great.

Speaker 8 (01:39:30):
By the way, don't think it's a bad thing that
you didn't kiss or do anything at like, I actually
think that that's really nice and respectful that the day ended.

Speaker 9 (01:39:37):
With a hug and that was it.

Speaker 4 (01:39:39):
Leave her wanting more.

Speaker 5 (01:39:40):
She's on the phone with us. We're gonna find out
what's going on. Raina is on with us right now,
camera and say hi to Raina. Hey, Hey, hey, Raina?

Speaker 4 (01:39:51):
What's going on? How you doing today?

Speaker 71 (01:39:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 53 (01:39:55):
I'm okay?

Speaker 4 (01:39:56):
Okay, are you nervous or are you comfortable?

Speaker 1 (01:40:00):
What are you?

Speaker 4 (01:40:01):
You sound like you're not as excited to be on
the air with us.

Speaker 53 (01:40:05):
Well, it's kind of weird just to be you know,
to get a call.

Speaker 5 (01:40:09):
From Okay, all right, well guys, what's going on? Is
everything okay? Is there a chance that we could have
another date with Cameron?

Speaker 68 (01:40:18):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:40:19):
Why is that?

Speaker 53 (01:40:22):
Well, he's just I mean, he's not He's not what I.

Speaker 29 (01:40:27):
Saw he was he was going to be.

Speaker 4 (01:40:30):
I don't know what did you think he was going
to be.

Speaker 53 (01:40:33):
He just he just looks totally different.

Speaker 18 (01:40:37):
I guess.

Speaker 5 (01:40:37):
So he looks different. Why does he look different? What
is different about Cameron? I'm assuming you were looking at
pictures of him?

Speaker 53 (01:40:47):
Yeah, yeah, he didn't like yeah, he was on Kinder
and like, he doesn't look anything like his photos.

Speaker 5 (01:40:54):
So what's the difference? If you don't mind us asking
just to get a perspective on.

Speaker 53 (01:40:59):
What you were thinking and compared to what he looks like,
he's like one hundred and fifty pounds heavier at least.
Just yeah, it's not I mean, I'm just not my
type of guy. I'm not really into that.

Speaker 14 (01:41:16):
Not my idea of the man Cameron.

Speaker 5 (01:41:18):
Are our pictures this evening that you that you have
on your profile or up on social media or or pictures.

Speaker 4 (01:41:27):
Are they're of me?

Speaker 56 (01:41:29):
Uh?

Speaker 58 (01:41:30):
They're a couple of years older, I guess, but like
it's still my faith, you know, my my weight fluctuaries.
I don't know what to tell you.

Speaker 64 (01:41:37):
I think.

Speaker 58 (01:41:39):
That's kind of crazy. Man, I'm the same person.

Speaker 1 (01:41:42):
Yeah, I didn't.

Speaker 3 (01:41:43):
I didn't expect this.

Speaker 53 (01:41:45):
You're like a whole person skinnier in those pictures. So
it's just I did not expect that.

Speaker 4 (01:41:53):
Well that's not nice.

Speaker 63 (01:41:53):
But like.

Speaker 58 (01:41:56):
People gains weight all the time, man I didn't. Yeah, okay,
uh but I'm still the same mages.

Speaker 5 (01:42:02):
But Raina, did you have fun at the game though?
At least, like did you did you enjoy? Does his
looks matter when you're going out and going to a game?

Speaker 53 (01:42:11):
I mean yeah, I mean it was fine. We had
a good time. Like he's a nice guy, like he
you know, like we got along okay, But like I'm
just not I'm just not like, I'm just not into that.

Speaker 4 (01:42:22):
I'm just not like, is there a reason why.

Speaker 10 (01:42:26):
I like not what, Cameron, Is there a reason why
you still have these pictures as your many pictures and
not more recent photo.

Speaker 19 (01:42:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 58 (01:42:35):
I feel good in them. I mean my face is
the same, I've gained a little more weight. Yeah, But like,
I don't know, they make me feel the way I
actually feel, and I'll probably get back there at some point.

Speaker 3 (01:42:45):
I mean, it comes and goes, you know.

Speaker 4 (01:42:47):
So he just caught me at a at a big.

Speaker 58 (01:42:50):
Moment, I guess.

Speaker 5 (01:42:51):
And I gotta be honest with you. I mean, I
will tell you this. People do it all the time.
People post their good stuff. I mean, my photo that's
up on my social is definitely my best, but it
looks like you, well, I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:43:03):
Know, not from the not from the waist down.

Speaker 5 (01:43:12):
I'm feeling bad for this poor guy because I've I've
gone through that, but a really bad for him too.

Speaker 8 (01:43:17):
It does not define who he is or what he
would be like in a relationship or anything. However, I
can see where Rena was, you know, where she saw
him for the first time. I was like, wait, you
don't look like the guy like I understand that she
was taken aback by.

Speaker 7 (01:43:31):
That, and this happens to women all the time.

Speaker 4 (01:43:33):
I'm sure guys too, you mean where women? Where women?

Speaker 38 (01:43:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:43:39):
Hey, Amanda, what's going on?

Speaker 1 (01:43:41):
Good morning everyone, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:43:44):
What are your thoughts?

Speaker 14 (01:43:46):
Girl?

Speaker 25 (01:43:47):
Girl, I'm not saying you're wrong, because that happened to
me in the past. Matched with a guy online, met
him in person, he.

Speaker 18 (01:43:54):
Was significantly heavier.

Speaker 25 (01:43:56):
Granted, I still found him very attractive, and I had
no issue with the way game, but it is extremely deceiving.
And it's not to put him down by any means,
not by any means. But when you're putting yourself out
there like that, you want the other person to have
an accurate representation of you so that one, something like
this doesn't happen, and two, you want them to be

(01:44:17):
attracted to you now, not what you look like two
or three years ago. But girl, respectfully, you you say
it a little better?

Speaker 22 (01:44:27):
Yeah, look like the whole person heavier.

Speaker 70 (01:44:30):
That's kind of rual.

Speaker 6 (01:44:31):
I was trying not to say it at all.

Speaker 20 (01:44:33):
I didn't I didn't even want.

Speaker 6 (01:44:34):
To say it at all.

Speaker 48 (01:44:35):
And then I get called by the radio.

Speaker 53 (01:44:37):
To like I explained that I was trying to not
say anything.

Speaker 55 (01:44:43):
I get that, but yeah, I'm not saying we're wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:44:47):
I am everybody born with tact emily. What's going on?

Speaker 17 (01:44:52):
Hi? Good morning?

Speaker 54 (01:44:53):
How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:44:53):
Good morning? What's happening with you? Would you want to say?

Speaker 23 (01:44:57):
I just wanted to say, honestly, I think he botched
the bull. It sounds like a loser and you cut
on a good day, and you know, I.

Speaker 17 (01:45:04):
Think that he can do way better.

Speaker 4 (01:45:06):
Okay, all right? Not happy with uh Raina here, what's up, Lisa?
My question is what's that?

Speaker 19 (01:45:14):
What's how much difference was his weight?

Speaker 9 (01:45:18):
Cameron?

Speaker 4 (01:45:20):
She said, a bottling in the two leaders? Cameron?

Speaker 5 (01:45:24):
Uh yeah, do you have a number on how much
weight difference there is from the photos? That's really none
of your business, okay, all right, SA, none of our business.

Speaker 1 (01:45:36):
I get it.

Speaker 29 (01:45:36):
It must.

Speaker 13 (01:45:39):
If I was all right?

Speaker 4 (01:45:43):
Turning ugly? Andrew? What's up, Andrew?

Speaker 38 (01:45:46):
Hey?

Speaker 18 (01:45:47):
I just think Raina was super shallow for for the
way that you you know, didn't give him a chance.

Speaker 14 (01:45:53):
And I think she should have just been a little
bit more upfront with him as to why and instead
of ghosting, just make him feel really, you know.

Speaker 10 (01:46:01):
Apparently she didn't know the right way to go about
saying it, and some people have called her out saying
she's mean, So maybe she just didn't want to go
through the mean parts of his face.

Speaker 4 (01:46:10):
Anthony went's up.

Speaker 13 (01:46:12):
What's going on?

Speaker 59 (01:46:13):
This is a first time technically long time.

Speaker 29 (01:46:16):
I was on the other day, but.

Speaker 4 (01:46:21):
Oh you got me? Okay, what's going on? Delivery?

Speaker 13 (01:46:23):
Okay? I think the girl she's correct.

Speaker 59 (01:46:26):
I mean, she could have been so blaant about it,
but I could have been a little nicer about it.
I guess she's not wrong at all. If I would
have went on a date and there's a whole human
more extra that I didn't see him.

Speaker 5 (01:46:36):
Picture, Anthony, Listen, here's the deal. It's not about It's
not about that. It's about who the person is. And
you went to a game having fun.

Speaker 59 (01:46:47):
I mean, come on, yeah, come on, man, if I'm looking,
if I see some beautiful girl and I go and
don't see a beautiful girl, like, are you saying I'm
looking for relations?

Speaker 5 (01:46:56):
Are that big girls can't be beautiful? Anthony, No, they can,
That's what I think. Yeah, were showing.

Speaker 10 (01:47:07):
Listen, we are trying to be nice and respectful, and
we should be. But at the same time, false advertisement
is a real thing. And if you, if you, if
you show up to your favorite restaurant and they say
you're gonna come out with the with the big steak
and the fries and they bring you out a little
bitty veggie play, you're gonna be bad.

Speaker 4 (01:47:24):
You'll be bad perfectly.

Speaker 15 (01:47:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 5 (01:47:26):
You got my right there, Poor Cameron. Cameron, be upset
if you got one of them. Cameron, I gotta be
honest with you. I think you're a wonderful guy, and
I think there are plenty of absolutely ladies that would
love to hang out with you, and I think you're
gonna do fine, my friend.

Speaker 4 (01:47:45):
Oh God, get up.

Speaker 3 (01:47:47):

Speaker 4 (01:48:35):

Speaker 4 (01:48:57):
Say the rosary, Pray the rosary there.

Speaker 9 (01:49:02):
Maybe all right, Mom's about to text.

Speaker 17 (01:49:05):
You The morning's dirty on the thirty All.

Speaker 4 (01:49:09):
Right, what's trending in the dirty on the thirty seven?

Speaker 7 (01:49:11):
All right?

Speaker 8 (01:49:11):
Lasting in Eastley and Saint Pat Fitzgerald officially introduced as
the new head coach for Michigan State's football team.

Speaker 35 (01:49:23):
B family and I are so honored to be Spartans.
We're so excited to be here tonight. You just made
the difference between the last two timeouts, right, not.

Speaker 4 (01:49:34):
Even club loud?

Speaker 38 (01:49:35):
Was it?

Speaker 4 (01:49:35):
Last night was insane?

Speaker 10 (01:49:38):
Last night man beat him by at least twenty first
beatt in conference matchup.

Speaker 4 (01:49:43):
Mine's looking good. We're honored to be here.

Speaker 35 (01:49:46):
I want to thank all of you for your support today.
It's been incredible. Let's get this thing rocket tonight.

Speaker 5 (01:49:52):
I didn't realize that he got fired from Northwestern because
they said that there was hazing going on and he
and he being the head coach, got fired.

Speaker 4 (01:50:02):
He sued the university and won a ton of money.

Speaker 5 (01:50:06):
Wow, saying I can't stop everything from happening, and I
wasn't part of all the hazing. And did you know
what he did when he was off from coaching for
the last couple of years, He coached his son's high
school football team to two state championships. Wow, it's kind
of cool that he got and he said, doing what
happened to him, he said, God obviously has a plan

(01:50:28):
for him, and that plan was he was going to
be able to spend more time with his his own sons,
as he's raised so many other sons over the years.

Speaker 4 (01:50:35):
Yeah, hopefully he can recruit state champions coach.

Speaker 36 (01:50:41):
I think what you saw in the court during a
time out, I told him quiz scoring up my huddles.
He had to play rocket and rolling. I couldn't hear
in that damn huddle. So I told his wife to
shut him up a little bit. And but that's pretty
cool too, you know.

Speaker 38 (01:50:57):
He just.

Speaker 9 (01:50:59):
He is on a missig by the way.

Speaker 8 (01:51:02):
Also yesterday, the university announced a one billion dollar fundraising
initiative called four Spata a for Sparta excuse me, with
significant significant upgrades and renovations to all of the athletic
facilities on campus, including Spartan Stadium and the Bresilent Center.

Speaker 9 (01:51:19):
Did you guys ever have a Dell as in, like
a Dell computer?

Speaker 4 (01:51:24):
Was the No, No, it's a it's a Lenovo.

Speaker 38 (01:51:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:51:29):
The Dell was the computer that I bought with my graduation.

Speaker 4 (01:51:32):
Yeah, it was first computer I ever had. Same.

Speaker 8 (01:51:34):
So, the family behind Dell is trending today because of
something amazing. They are donating six point two five billion
dollars to help fund investment accounts for kids across America.

Speaker 3 (01:51:44):
Tonight.

Speaker 72 (01:51:45):
An extraordinary gift to the family behind Dell Computers donating
a massive six point two five billion dollars directly to
twenty five million American children.

Speaker 4 (01:51:55):
It really gives them a shot at the American dream.

Speaker 72 (01:51:59):
The Dell donation will build on what's being called Trump Accounts,
which will give one thousand dollars in federal money to
every baby born between January first, twenty twenty five, and
the end of twenty twenty eight. The money will be
invested until the child can access it when they turn eighteen.

Speaker 4 (01:52:17):
The gift from.

Speaker 72 (01:52:18):
Michael and Susan Dell will expand that program to cover
older children by depositing two hundred and fifty dollars in
individual investment accounts for kids ages ten and under who
live in areas where the median household income is less
than one hundred fifty thousand dollars a year.

Speaker 4 (01:52:34):
We all understand the incredible impact that a gift like
this can have on the lives of young Americans.

Speaker 5 (01:52:43):
That's right, pretty cool story's I heard that they're asking
other billionaires to go out and do the same exact thing,
so basically telling you that if you've made all this
money and this country has given you all this money,
we got to give back to all of the kids
that are out there to be at a hopefully future billionaires.

Speaker 8 (01:53:01):
I love remember what Billie Eilish said at that and
there was like, I don't even know what the event was,
but she was like, why do you need billions of
dollars in your bank account.

Speaker 4 (01:53:09):
Get these texts because might as well give back.

Speaker 5 (01:53:11):
Well, Kevin just showed me what missus Dell looks like.
And Kevin seems to be very attracted to this woman.
She she sees the future. I tell you that I
don't look I don't look at anything other than dollar science.

Speaker 9 (01:53:24):
There so my friend and leslie.

Speaker 8 (01:53:26):
According to a new survey done by lending Tree, one
in four Americans have admitted to stealing an item without
scanning it from a self checkout.

Speaker 9 (01:53:36):
One in four. I've bet you it's torn them. But
the top reason people said that they stole.

Speaker 8 (01:53:41):
Is because of the current financial climate, it makes paying
for essentials quite unaffordable. Others said that price increases tied
to tariffs, and the belief that prices are too.

Speaker 9 (01:53:50):
High and unfair led them to steal.

Speaker 8 (01:53:54):
Of the thousands of people who were surveyed, men were
twice as likely to steal from a self checkout compared
to win men. The survey also found that forty six
percent of people who stole got caught.

Speaker 5 (01:54:06):
Women are stealing, They're throwing it all in that big
purse of their's going. Did you see there was a
story yesterday I saw in one of the channels local
for the lady that was stealing from the Dollar store
and they basically beat her down. We had to play
that video that one later this morning. Yeah, they like
they the store employees when went crazy and now they're
being scrutinized for how they handled the ladies.

Speaker 8 (01:54:29):
Give us anything from today's so go back and listen
to the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (01:54:33):
Miss is Something in the Dirty on the thirty. This
list is on our podcast now at Mojo in the
Morning dot com.

Speaker 4 (01:54:39):
We'll grab a winter next.

Speaker 17 (01:54:42):
I've seen your Facebook status. You're getting a dictionary for Christmas.

Speaker 9 (01:54:46):
Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:54:50):
Mojo in the Morning Show, I want to talk about
the worst Christmas Gift with Cavin. Yeah, what's the that's
the worst Christmas gift. I've gotten some some terrible Christmas gifts.
But I was talking to a homie yesterday and it's
the season. He's married. He's he's been married for several years.
This isn't a new relationship. So I think some some

(01:55:12):
couples get past that and let me impress you stage
you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:55:16):
Like I'm not.

Speaker 10 (01:55:16):
I'm no longer trying to impress you with lavish gifts.
And he's, I guess at a point where he's thinking
more necessities. And he told me that he's gonna get
his wife some new tires, right ted so, and they
don't surprise each other like they kind of tell each
other kind of this is what I'm gonna get you.

(01:55:37):
And she doesn't believe that the tires should be They're
a good gift. It's a nice thing that she needs.
It's not a Christmas gift though, you know what, it's
the gift that keeps on giving. Every time you get
in that car, they rotate.

Speaker 7 (01:55:49):
If you're my man, you need to be taking care
of my car. So you're saying that that's just something.

Speaker 5 (01:55:53):
That's just something like, let me ask you this, Anna,
if you don't like tires, do you agree with my
wife Chelsea? And the worst gift I ever gave her
was a few years back when I gave her a roomba.

Speaker 4 (01:56:05):
She doesn't vacuum enough. No, I wanted her not to vacuum.
I was, all right, I do favor eight four four
Mojo Live.

Speaker 5 (01:56:13):
I want to hear the worst Christmas gift that your
man got for you, or your kids got for you,
or you got for somebody. Kiki, real quick, I want
to give you tickets. You're going to jingle Ball. Congratulate Kiki.
We're gonna set you up with those tickets real quick.

Speaker 4 (01:56:30):
Kiki.

Speaker 5 (01:56:30):
What's the worst gift that you've ever gotten for Christmas?
Everybody's gotten a bad gift in their life.

Speaker 7 (01:56:37):
I wanna say, socks, socks practical.

Speaker 4 (01:56:44):
Unless they're Bombas.

Speaker 5 (01:56:45):
I don't want any other I want the fancy socks,
you know what I mean, like the ones that are comfortable.

Speaker 29 (01:56:54):
You like.

Speaker 4 (01:56:57):
Holiday.

Speaker 5 (01:56:57):
By the way, those those Bombas does anybody ever return
the dead socks?

Speaker 4 (01:57:03):
It just doesn't work?

Speaker 9 (01:57:04):
Okay, So I'm not joking. I did this two weeks ago.

Speaker 8 (01:57:07):
Bombas is a brand where if they like get holes
in them or whatever, you can request on the website
for them to send you new ones. They basically tell
you keep the holy ones and they'll send you a
brand new eight pack or six pack or whatever whatever
your previous order was. They send you the same thing.
Do you have to upload the sanity? Nope, I'm going
to you know, Can I be honest with you? They're

(01:57:27):
the most comfortable socks.

Speaker 19 (01:57:28):
The best.

Speaker 5 (01:57:29):
My only problem with with the bombas, my son Luke
steals all my bombas. He steals my bombas and my
Stance socks and he leaves in in there the Amazon
socks that I have.

Speaker 4 (01:57:40):
Or the or the Fruit of the Looms or whatever
they are.

Speaker 5 (01:57:44):
You know, like there's some bombas for Christmas, Joeanne, what's
the worst gift that you ever got?

Speaker 54 (01:57:50):
Well, it wasn't actually the worst.

Speaker 65 (01:57:52):
It was my husband at the time, like thirty years ago,
bought me a coat on my charge card and the chargeman.

Speaker 13 (01:57:59):
Before Chris, you bought the coat.

Speaker 9 (01:58:06):
Did you like the coat?

Speaker 39 (01:58:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (01:58:08):
I learned to like it.

Speaker 70 (01:58:11):
You did not, like?

Speaker 4 (01:58:14):
Uh, she need what's happening.

Speaker 15 (01:58:18):
Man Mozo?

Speaker 55 (01:58:18):
One year, my daughter got me so good. She got
me like a fifteen pack of black Fruit of the
Little Fox.

Speaker 29 (01:58:24):
But the worst part about it was she like packed
it in like a Pandora bag.

Speaker 13 (01:58:31):
Yeah, from the Pandora.

Speaker 11 (01:58:37):
The Loom.

Speaker 29 (01:58:38):
And she was like, you said, you need a sock.

Speaker 4 (01:58:40):
I need to do that. I need to do that.

Speaker 5 (01:58:43):
I need to get myself like a box from Louis
Vatan and uh and I need to like pack in
there for Chelsea something like socks yeah, or toilet paper.
Everybody needs toilet paper. What's up, Gabe?

Speaker 4 (01:58:59):
What are you doing?

Speaker 70 (01:59:00):
What's up, Mojo?

Speaker 5 (01:59:02):
Nothing much, man, We're talking about this guy that keV
ran into that bought tires for his girl.

Speaker 43 (01:59:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:59:09):
So one year I was it was a rough year,
you know, poet, kind of tight. I feel bad about it,
but I bought my mama calendar.

Speaker 8 (01:59:19):
Did you at least personalize it with photos of yourself?

Speaker 44 (01:59:23):
No?

Speaker 19 (01:59:23):
It was Bible scriptures in it.

Speaker 15 (01:59:25):
And then I didn't even realize.

Speaker 14 (01:59:27):
It, but it was for that year.

Speaker 17 (01:59:28):
So it was the end of the year.

Speaker 4 (01:59:32):
What does she say?

Speaker 14 (01:59:35):
She just goes, oh, it's a calendar, and I was like.

Speaker 13 (01:59:39):
Oh, yeah, I thought you might need that.

Speaker 4 (01:59:42):
You know what funny? Does anybody use calendars anymore? Because
I still love calendars.

Speaker 3 (01:59:46):
I love you.

Speaker 5 (01:59:47):
You do not have a physical calendar anywhere. I loved
like the calendar with pictures and stuff on them on
the air. You don't currently like calendar? No, I thought,
nobody ever. But it's nice to have, you know, it's nice.
My dad one was like the kids, and he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (02:00:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:00:04):
Yeah, So don't don't be making funny. You don't have
calendars though, you big deck. Kg's on the phone, Cavis,
bast bud what's going on?

Speaker 45 (02:00:15):
Or J?

Speaker 4 (02:00:16):
Why say kJ kg J?

Speaker 13 (02:00:19):
How you guys?

Speaker 29 (02:00:20):
Bro?

Speaker 4 (02:00:20):
What's up? JJ?

Speaker 15 (02:00:22):
What's going on?

Speaker 13 (02:00:23):
What's going on? So I have to preface this with
I love my wife. She's a phenomenal gift.

Speaker 19 (02:00:27):
Differ like it does great.

Speaker 13 (02:00:29):
It's you know how you share TikTok shop stuff and
Instagram videos. It was like a shampoo conditioning ses, Oh
this is great, like we should this in the house.
It was my Christmas gift one year and I was
just like, oh, like this is great, like it it's
so it's great though, Like it's phenomenal. My hair feels amazing.

(02:00:51):
That's not a Christmas but you know, it's like.

Speaker 4 (02:00:56):
Thinking about you.

Speaker 5 (02:00:57):
It is funny though, because if you can buy it
at see S or Walgreens or you know whatever I mean,
is it definitely something that you give as a Christmas gift?

Speaker 4 (02:01:06):
Like can you go really like to a.

Speaker 8 (02:01:07):
S Okay there are some Walgreens now The makeup skincare
area is amazing.

Speaker 4 (02:01:15):
Is that a stocking stuffer or is that a gift?

Speaker 9 (02:01:18):
Well, it depends on what it is. To be honest
with you, I don't.

Speaker 4 (02:01:21):
Know what do you mean like price or or with
or wait, like what do you mean? Yeah? Okay, y shampoos,
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (02:01:31):
Yeah, yeah, like I'm not putting that in stocking.

Speaker 4 (02:01:34):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (02:01:34):
Some of that stuff is so expensive.

Speaker 5 (02:01:37):
JJ, have a great day, buddy, Absolutely care about pulling
up the jingle bo I love that's biggest fan right there?

Speaker 4 (02:01:46):
Hold on, Jeff, are you there? Jeff? Hi, what what
did you get for Christmas?

Speaker 50 (02:01:53):
Ah?

Speaker 12 (02:01:53):
Well, all the years growing up, I always wanted to PlayStation,
and uh, I got off on Christmas morning was convinced
this box was a PlayStation. I saved it till my
last gift to open and it ended up being a
twelve and one like Chess, Checkers and back, and uh,
I was so upset. I just wanted to PlayStation.

Speaker 13 (02:02:17):
I know that.

Speaker 5 (02:02:17):
That actually is so funny too, when you think it
is something and you're like, oh you have to act happy.

Speaker 9 (02:02:25):
Oh yeah, did you ever buy yourself that PlayStation?

Speaker 12 (02:02:28):
Not the original one? I mean I ended up getting
PlayStation later on, but no, I've never owned the original PlayStation.

Speaker 4 (02:02:35):
Well you know, uh there, yeah, I'm here. What's going on, buddy, dude?

Speaker 19 (02:02:50):
So this is probably a five years ago. I said,
there's Christmas cap and got for my brother in law.

Speaker 38 (02:02:56):
He said he was cleaning it out the house and
he came to going through all his use CDs, all
his use CDs you didn't want anymore in a milk crate,
and gave it to me for Christmas.

Speaker 9 (02:03:11):
What'd you do with that after you opened it?

Speaker 30 (02:03:14):
I brought it right to Goodwill?

Speaker 70 (02:03:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:03:17):
You know what's funny though, is that they like vinyls
obviously a deal right now. VHS tapes they say are
worth money. CDs are going to come back one day,
like there's gonna be a time where everything comes back
and people then all of a sudden want them. And
then if you've got like really good clean copies of
some of these, like they were throwing away all the
crap from the old radio station, I'm telling somebody is

(02:03:40):
making money off that.

Speaker 35 (02:03:41):
You know.

Speaker 4 (02:03:41):
You got to keep the little bambling inside though. Yeah,
with all the artwork and all the details, that's what matters.

Speaker 9 (02:03:48):
The song lyrics.

Speaker 4 (02:03:49):
Yeah, what would you do if your man got you
what Marie's X got her? Marie?

Speaker 68 (02:03:55):
There?

Speaker 3 (02:03:57):
Hell, Hi.

Speaker 4 (02:04:01):
On the phone, what's going on?

Speaker 18 (02:04:05):
Hey?

Speaker 20 (02:04:06):
I had to call in when I heard what you
were asking your listeners to phone in about.

Speaker 18 (02:04:11):
And my one.

Speaker 20 (02:04:13):
Christmas gave me a low fat Italian cookbook and a scale.
That was his way of letting me know I needed
to lose weight.

Speaker 4 (02:04:23):
Is that the reason?

Speaker 15 (02:04:27):
What's that?

Speaker 7 (02:04:27):
Is that the reason? He's your ax now? Because it
should be.

Speaker 4 (02:04:31):
It was one of these one of the reasons. There's
probably a list of about twenty five things that are
the reasons.

Speaker 19 (02:04:37):
The way it scales, there's a number of things.

Speaker 18 (02:04:40):
I'm not perfect, but I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 4 (02:04:42):
I love you, Marie. That's Did you use the cookbook?

Speaker 20 (02:04:45):
Be honest, No, I gave it away to a book drive.

Speaker 5 (02:04:52):
Did you Okay? That's that is interesting. It's like, uh,
he's basically telling you this and giving you a scale.
I remember one year my brother was giving my sister
in law gym membership and it was to a nice
it was like Lifetime Fitness or something like that, and
he was giving it to her as a gym membership,
and she was so excited and his kids were so appalled.

(02:05:14):
They were like, I cannot believe that you gave mom
a gym membership. But like, a membership to a gym
is not a Christmas gift that is a thing that
you do for yourself.

Speaker 7 (02:05:25):
Depends on the gym.

Speaker 4 (02:05:26):
Really, I agree with you. Okay, what are you talking about?

Speaker 7 (02:05:31):
This one with massage chairs and stuff like that could
be worth it. I can see that, but if you're
just giving me like the gym down the street for
twenty bucks?

Speaker 4 (02:05:39):
What's up? How you doing, Jessica? Hi, what's up? How
you doing?

Speaker 28 (02:05:45):
I'm good?

Speaker 71 (02:05:46):
So my boss, I'm convinced she hates me because my
five year old daughter is deaf, like profoundly deaf. She
basically just uses sign language, but she likes to perform.
And my daughter, or my boss daughter a karaoke microphone. Okay,
well maybe, but she looks like it's really cut but
it's so.

Speaker 5 (02:06:05):
Wait, so your boss got that for your daughter and
your did your daughter use it and make noises in
it or no thing?

Speaker 71 (02:06:13):
She can sing? It's like the cutest thing.

Speaker 4 (02:06:15):
But it's just.

Speaker 5 (02:06:18):
Understand but you understand she could have got herself. You understand.
Jessica's daughter's death. So she can't hear how bad.

Speaker 4 (02:06:24):
She sounds microphone, but she's in there singing like I sing.

Speaker 1 (02:06:30):
Probably it's so sweet.

Speaker 4 (02:06:36):
I appreciate it. You don't get a blind person camera
person loved. So what about this?

Speaker 5 (02:06:46):
What about Stephanie? Stephanie, tell everybody your worst gift you
ever got.

Speaker 20 (02:06:52):
My worst gift was a lingerie set from my mother
in law.

Speaker 4 (02:06:59):
I'm not her mother in law.

Speaker 20 (02:07:01):
She was not even my mother in law at the time.
My husband and I've been together for fifteen years now.
We were just dating. I was eighteen years old and
it was our first Christmas together. And she has for
grand babies.

Speaker 9 (02:07:14):
Oh my god, that is so awkward.

Speaker 8 (02:07:16):
I didn't know if it was part of like that,
like a bachelorette party or something, which is still uncomfortable.

Speaker 20 (02:07:22):
I've been there, but this is comfortable around the whole family.

Speaker 4 (02:07:27):
Did you ever wear it?

Speaker 44 (02:07:29):
No?

Speaker 18 (02:07:30):
I threw it away very quickly.

Speaker 4 (02:07:32):
You think of my grandma to hold something. Yeah, Merry Christmas.
There Detroit goes.

Speaker 17 (02:07:39):
Next, we see your grand rabbit.

Speaker 2 (02:07:42):
Hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun, Mojo

Speaker 5 (02:07:50):

sure that you check that out and go to Mojo's
wish dot org. We're gonna grant more wishes.

Speaker 3 (02:08:19):

Speaker 5 (02:08:24):
Five lies to tell you, Leanna, It's five lies to

Speaker 4 (02:08:28):
How are you?

Speaker 11 (02:08:30):
I'm gray?

Speaker 49 (02:08:31):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (02:08:32):
Excellent? Bianca? What's the plan today?

Speaker 44 (02:08:35):
So Leana's mom is very involved in her church community.
But there's someone that church. Her name is Tiffany, and
they always butt heads. So Leana's mom and this girl
named Tiffany always butt heads. And we're gonna pretend that
Tiffany was talking smack about Leana's mom and she got
into a fight with her.

Speaker 4 (02:08:49):
Oh my god, we're gonna we're gonna take the religion
out of your mom. Are you ready?

Speaker 5 (02:08:55):
Yea, let's do it. Here we go, five lies tell
your mom. Line Number one. You're going to say and
listener should listen for these. You'll say So Tiffany and
I just got into a fight. Lie number two.

Speaker 9 (02:09:07):
So I slapped her across the face.

Speaker 10 (02:09:10):
Lie number three because she was running her mouth again.
Lie number four.

Speaker 7 (02:09:16):
She told me you're a kiss ass at the church.

Speaker 5 (02:09:19):
Oh gosh, can you say ass in church in the
same sentence? And lie number five? And she said, watch
out next time that you're there.

Speaker 4 (02:09:29):
Are you ready?

Speaker 15 (02:09:29):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (02:09:30):
Yeah, I'm hoping.

Speaker 5 (02:09:32):
Your mom swears I want to see a church going
ladies swear, I hope.

Speaker 4 (02:09:39):
Let's see what happened?

Speaker 34 (02:09:39):
Oh no, she might show herself before church days.

Speaker 4 (02:09:43):
All right, let's go, let's go. What's her what's your
mom's real name? Instead of mom name?

Speaker 38 (02:09:47):
Is?

Speaker 15 (02:09:48):
Her name is La Tree?

Speaker 4 (02:09:49):
Let's call the tree?

Speaker 19 (02:09:50):
So here we go, Hello.

Speaker 15 (02:09:59):
Mom?

Speaker 17 (02:10:00):
Yeah, can hear me?

Speaker 18 (02:10:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 34 (02:10:05):
So Tiffany and I just got into a frank Who
was that or the girl?

Speaker 15 (02:10:10):
You say, well, Tiffany, Tiffany?

Speaker 17 (02:10:15):
Who who's the.

Speaker 15 (02:10:17):
Only Tiffany that we know?

Speaker 41 (02:10:20):
Uh?

Speaker 15 (02:10:21):
Tiffany, That worked, Tiffanya. Triffany Mama, Yeah, I say, I know,
not a fist fight. I slapped her? What the hell?

Speaker 24 (02:10:38):
Why what happened?

Speaker 64 (02:10:40):
She was?

Speaker 15 (02:10:41):
She was running her mouth again? Where was the track
I seen?

Speaker 26 (02:10:45):
I went to the store.

Speaker 49 (02:10:47):
I seen her at the store before, but this time
I seen her. She you know, was whispering to her
little friend. She like her mom kisses everybody asked at
the church.

Speaker 15 (02:10:54):
Sheause, get your kids.

Speaker 34 (02:10:56):
Ask at the church.

Speaker 15 (02:10:58):
So I hit her.

Speaker 24 (02:11:00):
Oh lord, girl.

Speaker 49 (02:11:05):
She was like, she said, she said, tell your mama
to watch out the next time she's at the church.

Speaker 15 (02:11:11):
The next time your mama go to church, tell her
to watch her back. Oh honey, please, Okay, Now I'm
gonna watch my front because I'm gonna see what her stare.
They ask something she's gonna do. She's basically glad. I
got it hating this Sunday and I gotta work this weekend.
Do I wouldn't make sure that I'm there.

Speaker 53 (02:11:31):
Mmmm.

Speaker 15 (02:11:32):
Please, with everything I got going on, please approach. She
told me.

Speaker 49 (02:11:39):
She said, your mama feel us, And I said, my
mamma be at church everything. She said, Well, she better
watch her back next time.

Speaker 19 (02:11:44):
She got to the church.

Speaker 15 (02:11:47):
Wow, oh lord, girl, don't be talking to tightle best. Yeah,
this is like that. So like the call the publice
and stuff the first charge and don't do that for
her supid he after show, Oh.

Speaker 49 (02:12:05):
Yeah, she kept saying stuff like, oh yo, mama, this,
and she's calling you our.

Speaker 34 (02:12:09):
Type of names. I can't even say the names that.

Speaker 15 (02:12:12):
She was calling you. She was saying all type of
stuff and I just try to ignore her.

Speaker 29 (02:12:17):
And she was with somebody.

Speaker 15 (02:12:18):
She just kept saying, if you have a father, that
I will not reach her.

Speaker 48 (02:12:24):
She wasn't even up and talking about her husband and
your husband and if she wanted your husband, she can
have your husbands.

Speaker 15 (02:12:32):
And you want to look at people and that, Oh.

Speaker 4 (02:12:38):
My god, hey Leana's mom. Yes, how you doing this?
Is Mojo.

Speaker 15 (02:12:50):
I don't know who you are.

Speaker 4 (02:12:52):
I'm Mojo from Mojo in the Morning show.

Speaker 5 (02:12:55):
And your daughter listens to us in the Morning and
we do a thing on our show called five Lies
to tell your mom.

Speaker 29 (02:13:12):
And.

Speaker 10 (02:13:14):
I feel like I was listening to you your mama joke,
little skinned hair.

Speaker 4 (02:13:20):
Oh my god, you.

Speaker 15 (02:13:22):
Better help no body for hered.

Speaker 4 (02:13:27):
Oh my god, are you? Yes?

Speaker 10 (02:13:32):
It is for real, for real, Actually not for real
for real, but it's uh. Leanna just won you a prize.

Speaker 50 (02:13:38):
Congratulations Moto in the Morning, Yes, exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:13:54):
Congratulations on doing a great job. Leanna. You did really good.

Speaker 5 (02:13:58):
And I had to tell you I think we might
need to talk to the pastor about some of the
stuff going on in that church.

Speaker 15 (02:14:09):
Oh my goodness, and I'm about your time out. Oh no,
I'm gonna watch my front. I love you guys, no
matter what. Oh my God, we.

Speaker 3 (02:14:19):
Love you too.

Speaker 4 (02:14:21):
Hang on the phone and we're gonna get you set
up with the prize. Okay, okay, thank you.

Speaker 15 (02:14:26):
I've got.

Speaker 3 (02:14:30):
It's Mojo in the morning. Five lives to tell your.

Speaker 4 (02:14:35):
Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 5 (02:14:38):
So I went to Walmart to pick up a few
things I had, like a list of stuff I had
to get. So I was hanging out at the Walmart
on Pontiac Trail Nice to be specific, which is actually
a nice Walmart. It always has, uh, whatever I need.
I feel like Walmart gets underrated with stuff everybody likes
to do the whole. I'm a Target person, and actually

(02:14:59):
there's two reasons why I didn't go to Target yesterday.
Number One, I was close to the Walmart and I
had already passed the Target. Number two, I was wearing
khakis and a red.

Speaker 4 (02:15:12):
And Chelsea.

Speaker 5 (02:15:12):
Every time I wear that Chelsea goes you look like
you're working at Target, and I'm like, I can't walk
into Target looking like this. They will think I got
a side hustle going. So I'm at Walmart and I
encountered something that I have never tried. But I want
to know if there are any of our listeners or
you guys that have ever tried it. Have you, guys,
ever gone to whatever your favorite store is, this is

(02:15:35):
Walmart and done your own version of Walmart's layaway?

Speaker 4 (02:15:40):
Have you ever.

Speaker 5 (02:15:42):
Found an item that you wanted but didn't want to
buy it at the time, so you grabbed it off
of the shelf, knowing that it might not be there
if you come back, took it to a completely different
area of the store and hit it behind things like
the camping equipment, the tents.

Speaker 4 (02:16:01):
The weights, the weights. You know, you go to that
area of.

Speaker 5 (02:16:05):
The Walmart and you hit it there because one day
you were going to say, you know what, if I
come back, it's here. If I'm you know, come back
and it's not there, then at least I gave it
a good, you know try. I've done this before, have you.
I don't know if I left, because y'all know I'm
terrible with my wallet.

Speaker 10 (02:16:18):
I don't know if it was a situation where I
left it at home, or maybe I just didn't have
enough money that time or whatever. But I remember Josiah
wanted a specific sonic toy and we were going through Target.

Speaker 4 (02:16:28):
We were looking at the games.

Speaker 10 (02:16:30):
We were in that all, and I saw this sonic
toy and for whatever reason, I couldn't get it at
that time. But I took that sonic toy and put
it behind the weights, took it to the weight sexual, put.

Speaker 4 (02:16:38):
About like a big guys medicine ball. Came back like
a couple of days later, it was still there.

Speaker 68 (02:16:44):
Now.

Speaker 5 (02:16:44):
I have gone into stores where I found and I'm like,
and I leave it because I go, Okay, this is
their layoway for it.

Speaker 26 (02:16:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:16:54):
See, I don't necessarily do it like a Target or
a Walmart, but I have definitely done this before with
clothing stores at the mall where I can't decide, I'm like,
do I want this or do I not? Let me
just go check one more store. So what I'll do
is take the item, like if it's a T shirt,
and move it like usually the sales section is just
a mishmash, and so if you put it in there,
you know it's safe. And if I decide like, oh no,

(02:17:16):
I actually want that one, you know, then you can
go back to the store and get it.

Speaker 5 (02:17:19):
Can I also tell you what I do for a
guy that sometimes has trouble finding my size. If there's
a double X, and you know how the hangars have
the action, I will switch it with another the yeah.
So I'll take the medium and the double X, and
then the guy that gets the double X hanger and goes, ah,

(02:17:40):
it's a medium.

Speaker 4 (02:17:41):
He never goes and looks for the Yeah.

Speaker 10 (02:17:44):
I literally was at Target two days ago and looked
at like some jogging pants they had and it was
like an extra large, but it was like on a
medium like hanger or something like that.

Speaker 4 (02:17:54):
I'll see what you're doing. Which one were you looking for?
You're not looking for him, no extra large, but I
was looking through.

Speaker 10 (02:17:59):
I'll look through all of them because it happens in
that situation where maybe the hangers are misplayed.

Speaker 17 (02:18:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:18:03):
Eight four Furjo live eight four four six six five
six five four eight. What's up, Jamie? How you doing? Hello,
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 55 (02:18:12):
I wanted to say so. My daughter, anytime we go
in the store, she wants every single thing she comes across,
so I tell her to hide it and then we'll
come back later.

Speaker 29 (02:18:20):
And buy it.

Speaker 55 (02:18:21):
So she just goes around hiding random things and random
places in the store.

Speaker 4 (02:18:26):
Does she always remember? Does she ever forget?

Speaker 55 (02:18:29):
She She will tell me like the next morning, like, oh,
should we go on to Target to get whatever? Like
whatever was her favorite toy or whatever her favorite item.

Speaker 18 (02:18:38):
Was that she hit.

Speaker 20 (02:18:39):
She'd be like, oh, can we go get down?

Speaker 55 (02:18:40):
And I'm like, oh yeah, later we just we never go,
but shoot, yeah you do.

Speaker 5 (02:18:45):
People at the stores get mad at this, like it's
really gotta be Are you upset because eventually it's gonna
get bought.

Speaker 4 (02:18:53):
I don't know. I want to know. Call us eight
four four Mojo Live.

Speaker 8 (02:18:56):
You know what's so frustrating about it is? And I'll
use Target as the example because I frequent Target so often.
Is if I look in the app and see like, Okay,
there's this lego set I want to buy for Lucy
and it says they have two in stock or they have.

Speaker 9 (02:19:08):
One left in stock. Okay, you go to the aisle
and I'm.

Speaker 8 (02:19:11):
Like, where in the actual it says there's one left
in stock, and it's that I'm like, someone probably took it,
and I'm guilty of doing it. So I'm being a
hypocrite here, But I'm like, they say it's here, but
it's definitely not here.

Speaker 4 (02:19:22):
What's up? Nick?

Speaker 19 (02:19:25):
First time?

Speaker 1 (02:19:25):
Long time?

Speaker 19 (02:19:30):
Well, Joey, you just sound way different on the phone.
I'm just going to say that right now.

Speaker 4 (02:19:33):
Oh really, do I sound more sultrier than I normally sound?
I want to know where else are your voice?

Speaker 19 (02:19:44):
He's on the radio. I used to work at Home
Depot and after Christmas time all the things would go
on sale, so we would hide them and wait until
they went on a full discount, because they would drop
a bunch of times.

Speaker 7 (02:19:57):
As a worker, you would hide the.

Speaker 19 (02:20:00):
Yeah, I don't work there anymore, so I'm good.

Speaker 5 (02:20:03):
I could see where they would do that. You know
that you got a full day's work. You don't want
somebody coming in there and buying it, you know, put
it in a bucket or in a toilet. Yeah, I
know for sure we put them in the rafters, Nicks.
In any time that you were at Home Depot working,
did you ever see anybody use one of the toilets,
the demonstration toilets.

Speaker 19 (02:20:25):
No, but a lot of people would return them after
they were used.

Speaker 4 (02:20:31):
You can see the ring around the tub there. What's
up Dosha, Hi, first.

Speaker 56 (02:20:38):
Time, long time.

Speaker 18 (02:20:42):
Thanks.

Speaker 56 (02:20:44):
So whenever I go to Walmart, especially with my kids,
and they want something, and I always make a deal
with them, you know, I buy it for you. Later,
I find the ugliest suitcase.

Speaker 4 (02:20:53):
And hide it in there. That's genius.

Speaker 56 (02:20:59):
Yeah, and nobody want nobody wants it. So yeah, we
go a few days later and then and then we
have our item. She would shout out to my husband, Munch.

Speaker 7 (02:21:10):
Or if someone buys the suitcase and gets a surprise,
they all that stuff inside.

Speaker 5 (02:21:15):
You get caught, by the way, Hey, Dosha, and do
this for me. Because Shannon was talking about, you know,
the target by her house. Don't sleep on Walmart. I'm
not gonna lie to yet. I've never been like a
big Walmart guy. All right, I'm you know the people
of Walmart. I did not want to be on that
website at all.

Speaker 56 (02:21:33):
Do you know I shop at Walmart all the time.

Speaker 5 (02:21:36):
It's gotten I swear to you, it's gotten better. And
I couldn't believe. I'm like, I walked around Walmart. So
I'm on the phone with Chelsea and Chelsea's there and
we're going and I'm like, Chelsea, I can't believe it.
They got this, they got this, and she goes, it's
a Walmart, like every like the world shops at Walmart,
and I go, I know, but I haven't been to
a Walmart, you know, and in like forever, but like

(02:21:58):
it's gotten so much better.

Speaker 4 (02:21:59):
Thank you for the calls. Good you would like to
live in a Walmart?

Speaker 7 (02:22:04):
No, I wish that they were still open twenty four hours.

Speaker 4 (02:22:07):
I got it's the.

Speaker 5 (02:22:08):
One by my house not open twenty four hours or
those just people A lot of the stuff closing at
t and the parking lots packed though in the morning.

Speaker 7 (02:22:15):
It's a It was like my favorite thing to do
in high school. We would go there at like midnights around.

Speaker 5 (02:22:21):
Are Myers still open twenty four I don't think is
allowed to cut off to oh god, even a grocery stores.
Hold on a second. Here, she's got this name spelled
C L E V E and then it's in parentheses.
It says like Steve but with a C cleve. Right,
try it.

Speaker 9 (02:22:43):
Like Steve but with AC cleve.

Speaker 4 (02:22:46):
That's what I said, Steve Sleeve. Let's go, what's your name?

Speaker 19 (02:22:54):
My name's Cleve, just like Steve with a KL.

Speaker 4 (02:22:57):
Okay, okay, are you your first time.

Speaker 19 (02:23:00):
Gotta be yeah, first time?

Speaker 4 (02:23:04):
What's going on?

Speaker 27 (02:23:06):
What I like to do?

Speaker 64 (02:23:07):
If I if I like going to the store and
I see something I want and I'm like, man, I
don't have enough cash to buy that, what I'll do
is I'll walk over to one of the bottom shelves
and I'll lift it up and tuck it up underneath
there and set the shelf back down.

Speaker 4 (02:23:18):
It's like a little cubby underneath there. That's so smart.

Speaker 5 (02:23:23):
People have like the greatest things. What's up, Amanda high
sounds like what's going on?

Speaker 28 (02:23:31):
So what you do is you take whatever item it
is that you don't want anyone to find, and you
go over to the bedding aisle where all the big
giant bedding sets and pillows are and hide it in
the very back and literally no one.

Speaker 4 (02:23:43):
Will ever find.

Speaker 9 (02:23:47):
That's a really good It works every time.

Speaker 28 (02:23:49):
It's never failed me.

Speaker 4 (02:23:50):
That's great.

Speaker 5 (02:23:51):
And dosis is still great inside the ugliest piece of luggage.

Speaker 4 (02:23:55):
What's going on, Melanie, Oh my.

Speaker 20 (02:23:58):
Goodness, Apparently I am messing up people's layaway plans. So
I'm that crazy person that goes into the clothing stores
and rearranges the racks so that the things are where they're.

Speaker 29 (02:24:10):
Supposed to be.

Speaker 4 (02:24:12):
Do you really you're doing at work at the store?

Speaker 38 (02:24:14):
You do?

Speaker 4 (02:24:15):
You just do it on your own.

Speaker 20 (02:24:17):
My kids think I'm nuts, Yeah, but I do.

Speaker 4 (02:24:20):
It's you know what it is. You're a mom.

Speaker 31 (02:24:22):
You like order?

Speaker 19 (02:24:23):
Yeah, I like order exactly. It's just it should be here.
And I thought it was, you know, I was doing
them a favor.

Speaker 20 (02:24:29):
But apparently I'm really messing with people's law plans, screwing
it up.

Speaker 4 (02:24:33):
By the ways.

Speaker 5 (02:24:34):
I was just thinking about this, Melanie, the person that
goes and buys a piece of luggage and then gets
arrested for shop lifting this stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:24:43):
That's like, can you imagine you are in the mall
security office. I swear to you, I did not know
it was an Indian lady neighbor. Don't what's going on.

Speaker 43 (02:25:00):
It's another Mojo in the morning. Holiday's shopping safety tip.
Be careful confronting the a hole that stole the parking spot.
The drives the truck that's all jacked up with big tires.
He has a big problem with his manhood and is
probably packing heat.

Speaker 4 (02:25:12):
All right, we're giving you jingle ball ticket.

Speaker 5 (02:25:15):
It's jingle Ball is gonna be on Tuesday, Nelly shined down,
Big X, the Plug and a whole bunch more.

Speaker 4 (02:25:22):
Your chance to win right now.

Speaker 5 (02:25:24):
Eight four to four Mojo Live eight four four sixty
sixty five sixty five four eight is the telephone number
Frey Sky performed last night in Dallas. And I see
why everybody thinks that she's so talented. Now Kevin thinks,
I'm just looking at her and she's beautiful because she's
sixteen years old.

Speaker 4 (02:25:42):
It has nothing to do her beauty is wonderful. Don't
unnecessarily bring up a topic and they not do it factually. No,
let's not do that.

Speaker 41 (02:25:51):
Now.

Speaker 5 (02:25:51):
Do we know if fray S guy has a mom,
because I'm assuming her mom, Like if her mom's like
forty one or forty two years old, like what, I'll
hang with her back stage?

Speaker 4 (02:26:00):
She's sixteen, So there has to be a guardian prison,
let's hope, right, all right?

Speaker 17 (02:26:05):
Well, jord in the mornings, Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 4 (02:26:07):
All right, chinon with what's training in the Dirty on
the thirty.

Speaker 8 (02:26:10):
Okay, So yesterday, a Michigan couple was arraigned in court
on multiple charges for the murder of twenty two year
old Rebecca Park, whose body was found in northern Michigan
last month.

Speaker 9 (02:26:22):
This is such a gruesome story. Can I tell part
of the story at this audio?

Speaker 8 (02:26:26):
The story this audio is the prosecutor talking about So
Courtney and Bradley Bartholomew lurd Rebecca, who was Courtney's biological
daughter and thirty eight weeks pregnant, to their home. Okay,
that's when officials say that the couple her own mom
tortured her in an attempt to remove the unborn infant.

(02:26:51):
So literally went and tried to cut the baby out
of her own daughter's body, and then they dumped her
remains in the Manistee National Forest on November twenty fifth.

Speaker 40 (02:27:02):
Case, we had two individuals that created a plan, They
conducted research, They brought Rebecca Park to their home. They
forced her into a vehicle and took her into the
woods where they stabbed her, forced her to lie on
the ground while they cut her.

Speaker 17 (02:27:15):
Baby out of her, ultimately causing her.

Speaker 9 (02:27:18):
Death and the death of the baby.

Speaker 71 (02:27:19):
This is as heinous and as awful the case as.

Speaker 3 (02:27:23):
It could be.

Speaker 8 (02:27:24):
Wow, deafinitely, I mean it is, Josh. I can't even
read you all the charges. There's like ten different charges
that they are both facing.

Speaker 5 (02:27:33):
So the case is so big that Michigan Attorney General
Dana Nessel is helping with the prosecution of this case.

Speaker 4 (02:27:40):
The community where this took place, not that it.

Speaker 5 (02:27:42):
Matters, but have they spoken out at all about why
they did this they were in court, well, they didn't
want her. They thought she was too young to have
a baby.

Speaker 9 (02:27:50):
I believe right that is just like something you've seen
in a movie.

Speaker 4 (02:27:54):
It's awful.

Speaker 8 (02:27:55):
Miley Cyrus has broken her silence about her engagement to
her boyfriend of four years, Max Morando. They started dating
after her divorce from Liam Hemsworth, who actually I just saw.

Speaker 9 (02:28:05):
He got engaged as well.

Speaker 8 (02:28:06):
But Miley not really sharing any details about how Max proposed,
but she did say it was very different this time around.
She said, you know, for us, the privacy and them
being able to keep it small is something that she's
just been astounded by, astounded that she was able to

(02:28:26):
have and kind of have more of a choice of
how much she was sharing. And she said, I think
it's just being older, being more protective of what she
is open to sharing. So for now, all of those
details will be kept privately between her and her new fiancee,
Sabrina Carpenter in a feud with the White House after

(02:28:47):
it used her song Juno as the soundtrack for a
video showing immigration raids by Ice. Sabrina called the post
evil and disgusting and tweeted, do not ever involve me
or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda. The White
House striking back, responding on x here's a short and
sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter. We won't apologize for deporting

(02:29:08):
dangerous criminal, illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country.
Anyone who would defend these sick monsters must be stupid
or is it slow?

Speaker 4 (02:29:18):
Is it illegal for them to use like her music?

Speaker 9 (02:29:22):
Well, this is a thing.

Speaker 8 (02:29:23):
I mean, I think there are There have been numerous
musicians really over not just the in the Trump you know,
during the Trump administration, but always who have taken an
issue with political figures using their music.

Speaker 4 (02:29:34):
Well, here's the thing.

Speaker 5 (02:29:35):
They post on their social media, just like you post
your pictures with the video and the music's there. I
don't know if you can keep somebody from just posting
a song. They obviously are coming out. I think that's
her way of saying, I don't agree with this, but yeah,
I was at the Lions game this weekend or what's

(02:29:55):
the Thursday Thanksgiving?

Speaker 4 (02:29:57):
Oh so sad, sad game when they did the hometown
Hero and they had this amazing guy. This guy was
in the Navy. It was unbelievable.

Speaker 5 (02:30:06):
I mean, just an unbelievable hero and they can't He
came out to God Bless the USA that Lee Greenwood song,
and the lady that was sitting next to me is
was not a fan of the President Trump and she goes,
I just hate this song.

Speaker 4 (02:30:24):
And it's first time I've ever heard.

Speaker 5 (02:30:25):
And I said to her, I go, you hate the
song and she goes, yeah, because it's Trump's song.

Speaker 9 (02:30:31):
It's interesting how the association, the association.

Speaker 4 (02:30:34):
When you do that, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (02:30:36):
But there's obviously you know, everything's gotten, so you know
political that a song can make somebody feel something. And
obviously that song, which you know is kind of appropriate
when a guy's walking out.

Speaker 4 (02:30:50):
That's that's a member of the military.

Speaker 8 (02:30:52):
And I kept hearing people talk about Chipotle and to
potely giving out free food every Saturday in December. I
want to give you some details to clarify this. So
the first three Saturdays of this month yes, they are
doing that. There are some caveats. You have to be
wearing an ugly Christmas sweater, okay, and there are specifics.

(02:31:12):
So this Saturday it's a Tacos buy one, get one,
buy a three taco one hundred, get one for free.
Next Saturday it's a Burrito Bogo, buy one, get one free.
And then Saturday, December twentieth, wear an extra sweater in
the restaurant, an extra ugly sweater and buy any entre
and get a free entree.

Speaker 9 (02:31:28):
Just make sure to check it out.

Speaker 5 (02:31:29):
Speaking of free food, did you hear the story about
Wiener Circle in Chicago? So Wiener Circle the place in
Chicago that got made famous. I think Conan O'Brien did
one of the funniest skits ever with the people there,
because they're rude, ya and stuff. They had a deal
that if Ben Johnson took his shirt off in the
locker room, the now coach of the Bears, if he

(02:31:51):
took a shirt off in the locker room, they'd give
away free hot dogs. They ran out of hot dogs yesterday.
They get They had lines up around them.

Speaker 9 (02:32:00):
Do they have a number.

Speaker 4 (02:32:01):
I think I think it was over a thousand people
ended up getting hot comes.

Speaker 9 (02:32:05):
I mean, they need to be prepared.

Speaker 5 (02:32:06):
And then I saw something last night from Brad Galley,
and I did not know this. You know, the Lions
offense just hasn't been doing much. It seems like, well
the defense hasn't either. I did not know that the
Lions defense only has one sack in like the last
few games.

Speaker 31 (02:32:23):
And they're seven and five and need to get on
a winning streak five games left. They need to pressure
the quarterbacks they're about to face because the last two
weeks haven't been pretty. They've generated just one sack in
the last two losses and for total sacks over the
last four games.

Speaker 33 (02:32:37):
There's some adversity for sure. And you know, we call
ourselves a gritty team. We it's all over this building.
It's what people say about us. But I think it's
easy to be gritty when you're winning games and it's
all sunshine and rainbows. But in these moments, you know,
when you're coming off a bad loss to a divisional
opponent on Thanksgiving, how can we come together and still

(02:32:58):
make this season worthy of being remembered.

Speaker 5 (02:33:01):
Hutch is getting just slammed on sports radio right now
for the fact that a lot of people are saying
that he hasn't really done much in the last few games.
The Lions need this game on Thursday, and we still
have a chance for you to win tickets. If you
listen tomorrow to the show. Rinaldi Sausage is going to
give you an opportunity to win one thousand dollars gift
card to Ticketmaster to go and buy tickets. And I

(02:33:25):
looked at the price of some of the tickets because
of the loss on Thanksgiving the Dallas game, you would
have thought would have been one of the biggest priced
games of the year. It might be one of the
lower price gamers of the year. I looked at the
secondary Marcus fascinating. I mean, it's a must win game
and it's a premier game Thursday. Yeah, you think it'd
be the opposite direction.

Speaker 8 (02:33:43):
Yeah, all right, if you miss anything from today's show,
you can always go back and listen catch up on
the dirties on that free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 3 (02:33:50):
Celebrity is Dirty, Its Mojo in the mornings thirty on

Speaker 2 (02:34:47):

Mojo in the Morning, guaranteed human.

Speaker 5 (02:34:55):
It's Mojo in the Morning, Breaking, entering Christmas Wish and
this morning here on the show. This is one of
those wishes where you know how good people are based
on the person.

Speaker 4 (02:35:05):
Who nominated you.

Speaker 5 (02:35:07):
And Aunt Denise is on with us from Warren and
Aunt Denise loves Aretha so much and wants Aretha to
be in a home. She's been living in a motel
as a single mom with her son. And you know what,
you know, there's firepower when Aunt Denise is around. Right,
You're the You're the person that's always going to be

(02:35:29):
there for everybody.

Speaker 41 (02:35:30):
Once you once you're in my family, you were in
my family. Once I claim you, you're claiming I don't.
I don't change.

Speaker 13 (02:35:39):
And she knows that.

Speaker 5 (02:35:40):
So Aretha has been struggling and she's been trying to
keep it all together as a single mom for Justin.
And I hear nothing but amazing things about Justin.

Speaker 18 (02:35:51):
Oh, he's a smart kid.

Speaker 41 (02:35:53):
And in fact, when I told you that, she's when
she gets in the car with me, just get in
the car and ride.

Speaker 13 (02:35:59):
Don't ask me what I'm going You just get in
the car.

Speaker 32 (02:36:01):
You just trug me.

Speaker 41 (02:36:03):
Oh, she said, Oh, but just he's going to he's
not gonna be on the perfect contendency this year. I've said, well,
don't worry about it. After a leive, where will be going.
I'll take them to school and I will go in
my office of mine personally and talk to that principle.

Speaker 5 (02:36:25):
And you know what else, I'll go in there too
with you and you'll, yeah, you'll have You'll have Uncle
Mojo in there personally.

Speaker 1 (02:36:33):
You want on one no play, no pay, Okay, that's right.

Speaker 24 (02:36:37):
And the older I get, the worse I get.

Speaker 4 (02:36:40):
Uh, that's a niece. You are wonderful.

Speaker 5 (02:36:42):
I love that here you are trying to surprise her
with a breaking and entering Christmas weash and all she's
thinking is she doesn't want Justin to miss his perfect attendance.
She don't want to say, well, well, we got some
surprises for her, and I want you to do me
a favor. I want you to stay right here while
we get ready to grant this wedge. Hey, Bianca, Hey,

(02:37:06):
good morning. And at Denise.

Speaker 4 (02:37:08):
You guys ready, yes?

Speaker 18 (02:37:11):
Here with and Denise.

Speaker 16 (02:37:12):
We're a little bit away from the house because she's awake,
so we don't want her to see us.

Speaker 18 (02:37:16):
We're all bundled ups out here.

Speaker 52 (02:37:17):
But Aonise is like she's chilling.

Speaker 54 (02:37:19):
She's only wearing a hoodie, no gloves, nothing offasing out here.

Speaker 29 (02:37:25):
Yeah, where's your call?

Speaker 67 (02:37:26):
That girl?

Speaker 18 (02:37:28):
She's run outside?

Speaker 15 (02:37:29):
Okay, ran outside?

Speaker 4 (02:37:31):
By the way, Bianca, it's not Anthony. This is Aunt Denise.
That's how she's Denise. There's a difference between an aunt
and an aunt, and this is Denise. Are you ready?

Speaker 29 (02:37:45):
Yes?

Speaker 13 (02:37:45):
All right, yes we are.

Speaker 18 (02:37:46):

Speaker 5 (02:37:48):

Speaker 5 (02:38:37):
I want you to listen because we got a letter
and Shannon's going to read it to you that was
written about you and Justin, and I want you to
hear this.

Speaker 8 (02:38:46):
Okay, okay, Dear Mojo in the Morning. My name is Denise,
and I'm writing this letter on behalf of my niece, Aretha.
Aretha is a single mom, and she is one of
those moms who never ever gives up no matter what
obstacles are thrown in her way. Thanks to her faith
in God, she tries very hard to make sure her

(02:39:08):
eleven year old son, Justin, has everything he needs, and
that includes a roof over his head and rides to
and from school. They are currently living in a hotel
in Warren and do not have a vehicle. Justin's school
is all the way in southeast Detroit. This means a
lot of Aretha's income is spent on uber rides and

(02:39:32):
nights in the hotel. Mojo, please help this beautiful little
family and make life a little easier for them this Christmas, Sincerely,
Aunt Denise.

Speaker 18 (02:39:46):
Wow, he's a flowing right now.

Speaker 42 (02:39:56):
I'm fugging it out right now.

Speaker 5 (02:39:59):
You don't give up, Aretha, do you? And what a
mom you are to Aretha? Tell us tell us about Justin.
We heard that he is just one of those amazing
young men.

Speaker 26 (02:40:16):
Justin is my baby. He is eleven years old. He's
in sixth grade. He is the biggest blessing that has
ever happened to me. I thank God for him every day.
He actually just made it to the next level with
the seven Beach. He just made the basketball team. He's
all robotic.

Speaker 18 (02:40:35):
Why uh, he is just a big blessing.

Speaker 5 (02:40:38):
Yeah, you're you're spending a lot of money on a
lot of things that you don't need to be spending
money on and so this week here on the.

Speaker 26 (02:40:45):
Mojo of the Morning Chat, sacrifice everything everything. He is
worth everything, well, and you know.

Speaker 5 (02:40:50):
What you are worth everything too. I want I want
you to realize that there's so many people that know
what you're doing and know that you're doing it right.
And sometimes you don't know who the answer to your
prayer is going to be, but that that answer to
your prayer is going to be what Aunt Denise just
sent to us and our Mojo in the Morning, breaking

(02:41:10):
and entering Christmas Wish wants to make sure that you
and Justin have a roof over your head and that you,
guys don't have to be struggling so much. There's no
need for that to be happening to you.

Speaker 15 (02:41:25):
Yes, okay, yes, amazing.

Speaker 20 (02:41:27):
Everyone's in the house right now, but guests are already
going under the tree.

Speaker 18 (02:41:31):
Okay, the truth are still falling.

Speaker 20 (02:41:34):
How are you feeling right now?

Speaker 18 (02:41:35):
I am overwhelmed.

Speaker 38 (02:41:38):

Speaker 18 (02:41:40):
Just I'm just overwhelmed. Is this Justin ya superstar Mojo?

Speaker 5 (02:41:50):
Hello, sir, Hey, you are amazing. Justin Your mom Your
mom's a special lady.

Speaker 4 (02:41:57):

Speaker 9 (02:41:59):
Very and we heard about you. You are just kicking
butt at school.

Speaker 44 (02:42:06):

Speaker 4 (02:48:11):
God, bless you, Merry Christmas, Saretha, this is justin.

Speaker 19 (02:48:15):

Yeah, thank you, sir, God bless you, God, bless you, sir.

Speaker 18 (02:48:38):
Can you hear me, thank you, thank you, I can't
hear you.

Speaker 4 (02:48:40):
Yes, you do so much for so.

Speaker 10 (02:48:42):
Many people, and oftentimes when you do a lot, you're
the last person to get anything. And one of the
things that your aunt said was that you have a
faith unlike anything else, and sometimes the only thing you
can operate from is not your current reality, but the
faith in the better tomorrow and today is that tomorrow.

(02:49:02):
This is an example of what it means to have
faith and to have people that God sends into your
life to show you just how amazing you are.

Speaker 7 (02:49:10):
Amen.

Speaker 18 (02:49:12):
Amen, Oh my god, thank you so much.

Speaker 26 (02:49:16):
I can't even most of the words to express my gratitude.
I am to be ungrateful like I do so much,
and I don't you know, my son is worth every sacrifice,
every sacrifice. I don't regret anything. I'm just I'm just
lawful words, and I am immensely grateful. I'm so grateful.

Speaker 4 (02:49:39):
We are grateful for God. Bless you.

Speaker 5 (02:49:43):
Merry Christmas. Another great job. Oh we got yeah, they
want to do a Merry Christmas together.

Speaker 4 (02:49:47):
Hold on, here we go. You're ready, all right.

Speaker 20 (02:49:52):
Everyone's still talking, but we're gonna do a huge Merry Christmas.

Speaker 18 (02:49:55):
I three Okay, ready, one might.

Speaker 5 (02:50:00):
I love to everybody that helps us with breaking entering
Christmas wish every single year. RSL Medical Marketing. Love those guys.
They've always been there for us. Ryan and Samantha, we
love you guys so much. Imagine theater the best in
the world. Paul Glands. Nobody tells you to shut your
phones off better than Paul Lands. He does it with

(02:50:22):
a smile and a suit and tie on. There's a
bunch of people shut up. Gravity Gravity Auto. Can I
talk about gravity Auto?

Speaker 9 (02:50:31):
Give me some time we talk about fantastic guys.

Speaker 5 (02:50:34):
So the guys I met them last year, I think
it was we all met them in the studio, right yep, hm,
and met these guys.

Speaker 4 (02:50:42):
They're in east Point.

Speaker 29 (02:50:43):
You know.

Speaker 5 (02:50:43):
East Point is one of those times always say if
you're from east Point, you're probably tough or you're you're
probably packing.

Speaker 4 (02:50:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:50:50):
But you're in East Point, you have this business, You've
sold a bunch of cars to people, You've done, you know,
done well for themselves. These guys are good and they
got the greatest heart in the world. They've got literally
the heart to help out a family like they just
did today. And so if you're looking for a car,
you need something to get back on the road, they'll

(02:51:11):
get you back on the road with a car. And
if you're somebody that would go to anywhere else you
know in the area to go buy, give them a chance,
give them a chance to find you something, and do
it out of the goodness of the fact that you
know that these guys care. Because they did not. And
we have had this happen before, and I won't say
who it was. It wasn't any of the ones that

(02:51:32):
have advertised on our show. The guys who advertise on
our show are very good people. The you know, the
Gordon Chevrolets, the Zots brands, That's what I know.

Speaker 4 (02:51:42):
They're good.

Speaker 5 (02:51:43):
We had one we went two years ago and the
guy goes, how many mentions do I get? Literally, I
actually and really in the c I don't want to
say this to you. The glen over at Gravity did
not ask for anything. So he did not ask, has
you know, well in exchange for this what you know?

Speaker 4 (02:52:00):
I mean? It was you know what I want to
give back And because he believes.

Speaker 5 (02:52:03):
And I saw him here earlier this morning when we
were packing up the vehicle and everybody was getting ready
to go. I gave him a hug and stuff and
I said thank you, And I told him this, I said,
you're advertising that you run on this radio show in
this radio station will do well for you.

Speaker 4 (02:52:16):
I promise you it does.

Speaker 5 (02:52:18):
Are the people that listen to this radio station, they
do a great job for our advertisers. What you do
today with your given this is going to be tenfold.
And it's not because people will hear it, even though
I know that's part of it. It's because I believe
God will reward you for what you do.

Speaker 4 (02:52:38):
Absolutely all right, we're going to be back with more
Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:52:42):
Next had Mojo in the Morning to here, pre says
on our free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 4 (02:52:50):
I never missed War of the Roses.

Speaker 3 (02:52:51):
A second date update?

Speaker 17 (02:52:53):
Am I d a Hole?

Speaker 3 (02:52:54):
Or the throwback throw down?

Speaker 4 (02:52:56):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. It's funny.

Speaker 5 (02:52:58):
I thought all the birds flew south, but I feel
like the birds are still here for some reason.

Speaker 4 (02:53:03):
Maybe it was we had like a weird time. What
birds were talking about? Well did you hear bout it?
And I saw that one's not going anywhere? Detroit?

Speaker 38 (02:53:13):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (02:53:14):
What it's like? Detraite? Stray Orroit?

Speaker 38 (02:53:17):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (02:53:18):
Trade pets?

Speaker 36 (02:53:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:53:20):
I was walking to the coffee shop yesterday and the
pigeons are out and I hate them. But amongst the
pigeons eating on the sidewalk was this bright green. I
thought it was a parrot, but I sent a picture
to my friend. They said it was a parakeet. But
how's the parakeet outside right now? I'm like, is this
somebody's pet that escaped their house?

Speaker 1 (02:53:41):
Like, no, it was.

Speaker 7 (02:53:43):
This is not a bird I've ever seen in Detroit,
And I see a lot of birds in Detroit, usually pigeons.
But this was a lime green literally that that's what
I saw, flying around the trees and eating the food
off the sidewalks like it was a pigeon. So then
I started wondering, like, did a pet escape or.

Speaker 9 (02:54:01):
Did a mom get fed up and it died.

Speaker 7 (02:54:07):
There's no way it's surviving the winter. That thing needs
to fly south.

Speaker 4 (02:54:10):
What's the difference between a parrot and a parakeet? A little?

Speaker 7 (02:54:14):
A parrot is like I guess big.

Speaker 4 (02:54:16):
Does one of them talk? Doesn't one of them talk?
I think a par oft? No parrot? Isn't it parrot?

Speaker 5 (02:54:24):
Because the parrot imitates her or something probably wants a
cracker is a par I think. So it's well, it's
interesting because all I keep thinking of the whole time
is like I don't know, the lion king or something
where you know how.

Speaker 4 (02:54:38):
It's like it's like an animal.

Speaker 5 (02:54:39):
It's like an animal that doesn't look like everybody else,
but like hangs out with everybody.

Speaker 4 (02:54:43):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 7 (02:54:43):
He was causplaying a pigeon for sure.

Speaker 5 (02:54:45):
Like he's hanging with the pigeons thinking he's a pigeon.
He was raised by pigeons, but he's really not a pigeon.

Speaker 7 (02:54:50):
Yeah, he's I've seen crazy animals in Detroit if we're
going in that traction with the topic, like I've seen
people riding horses down the street what you would never
expect in the city of Detroit. I've seen like a
cow trotting on the side of the road on the
east side. There's just some crazy.

Speaker 9 (02:55:09):
Escaped from the place across the street here in the video.

Speaker 7 (02:55:12):
I've seen a guy like riding around like a cherry
in Detroit. Or there's people with goats. There's just some
crazy animals out here.

Speaker 5 (02:55:21):
Well, remember they remember the alligator, wasn't there like that
was like, well, there was one in Belle Island. Then
there was one in the lady had.

Speaker 9 (02:55:31):
In her son's bedroom there.

Speaker 4 (02:55:32):
Yeah, there was like one up.

Speaker 7 (02:55:33):
I said, how big is huge?

Speaker 4 (02:55:35):
She said it's big.

Speaker 3 (02:55:37):
I said, okay, is it his bedroom?

Speaker 4 (02:55:39):
She said, yeah, it's up the stairs.

Speaker 5 (02:55:41):
Yeah, the guy had to go out there and get
the thing. People have weird fetishes with animals, like there's
some kind of a thing.

Speaker 4 (02:55:48):
I feel like it.

Speaker 38 (02:55:49):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (02:55:50):
I feel like weird animals came into play when everybody
in the world started getting tattoos. Yeah, like I feel like,
you know, everybody all of a sudden, and then weed
started becoming legal and stuff like where you didn't have
to hide your weed. Like I feel like I feel
like all of a sudden because I feel like twenty
years ago you didn't see like a guy with an

(02:56:10):
alligator and it's okay.

Speaker 8 (02:56:12):
So growing up on gros Seal, I used to go
to Catechism at Sacred Heart Church and there was a
playground in the very very back of the church like yard,
and we would play back there and there was a
house on the other side of the fence and they
had a peacock in their backyard as a pet, a peacock.

Speaker 4 (02:56:30):
Like like the thing that's NBC.

Speaker 9 (02:56:32):
Yes, walk around the Detroit Zoo the peacock, but like
as a pet. But that was so weird.

Speaker 4 (02:56:39):
But a peacock is pretty alligators?

Speaker 9 (02:56:43):
What are you going to watching with your peacock?

Speaker 4 (02:56:46):
The closest thing that I don't know?

Speaker 10 (02:56:48):
This might not even be crazy, but I would get
a tank of piranhas for you want to like watch
them tear stuff up, catch barbaric?

Speaker 35 (02:56:58):
That is.

Speaker 5 (02:57:00):
That you're the kid that used to try to light
things on fire with me with maybe maybe never Parana
seemed like a cool pet.

Speaker 4 (02:57:10):
I'm sure anything you want. I don't know about that.
You can't study that.

Speaker 7 (02:57:16):
Raccoons are becoming more domesticated, are going to be having
the mess pets soon.

Speaker 5 (02:57:21):
Where are the weirdos at there listening to the show?
Where are the where are the people at that have? Uh,
these animals, these constrictors.

Speaker 7 (02:57:32):
That's not a weird one. People always have that is
weird to me.

Speaker 9 (02:57:35):
You're weird if you have a big snake like that.

Speaker 5 (02:57:37):
Oh, on a second, there's a video. There's this is
a video that I saw on one of the news stations.

Speaker 4 (02:57:42):
I think this is.

Speaker 5 (02:57:43):
Sarasota, Florida, which everybody weird is in Florida. Uh too, Florida, man,
this is uh this is called it's called see Alida
Alligator deputies relocated a six hundred pound alligator. So there
was a six hundred pund an alligator that got loose
from the swamp. And could you imagine you were a

(02:58:05):
cop and you had to go on a.

Speaker 73 (02:58:07):
Call bought on camera seven Sarasota County Sheriffs deputy's working
with a trapper to corral a loose gator. And not
just any gator.

Speaker 9 (02:58:16):
Check this out.

Speaker 73 (02:58:16):
This was fourteen feet long, six hundred pounds. Once they
got it on board, they took it to an alligator
farm where they say they released it.

Speaker 9 (02:58:26):
Boy, that was a big guy.

Speaker 3 (02:58:27):
That's a bull gator.

Speaker 5 (02:58:30):
And I've been seeing a lot of gators in these ponds,
in these ponds, and then there's people going and standing
in these like like you know, can you imagine you
have a pond?

Speaker 10 (02:58:40):
No, and they sneak up on you and the like
you're talking about with Belle Isle, you know, get quick
with them little leagues there, they'd be like the man,
but they stood Yeah, No, for the Google's.

Speaker 4 (02:58:56):
Okay, chat EPT. Do you have time to chatch EPT?

Speaker 19 (02:59:01):
You see.

Speaker 5 (02:59:03):
Eight four four Mojo Live? Eight four four six six
five six five four eight is our telephone number, Jamie?

Speaker 4 (02:59:09):
What's going on?

Speaker 30 (02:59:11):
Hey boss? Yeah, my uncle Jimmy uh had an albino
crocodile in his in his living room, an albino crocodile. Yeah,
her name is Snowball and she's a good six feet
that's had one hundred and thirty eight pounds.

Speaker 4 (02:59:26):
Where does Jimmy live.

Speaker 30 (02:59:28):
In a Warren?

Speaker 7 (02:59:31):
God, Alligator?

Speaker 5 (02:59:32):
Why does that not surprise me that there's somebody in
Warren with a albino crocodile?

Speaker 7 (02:59:38):
Like, don't you feel bad at that point?

Speaker 19 (02:59:41):
Did we mean?

Speaker 4 (02:59:43):
Does that?

Speaker 27 (02:59:43):
I did it first?

Speaker 19 (02:59:44):
But it's she's doing good.

Speaker 15 (02:59:48):
She's a big, healthy crocodile.

Speaker 5 (02:59:49):
How would you like to be the Comcast guy that's
coming to fix the guy's WiFi and walks in in
the house and you know how they always they always
put their little booties on, and they're used to look
that little puppies like you know, Shannon and I have
and they got an albino c canile.

Speaker 4 (03:00:05):
I wouldn't say, there's no way I'm out of there.
At that time. Thanks James, I appreciated, buddy.

Speaker 9 (03:00:11):
You should be allowed to have those.

Speaker 4 (03:00:13):
Uh, Brody, what do you have?

Speaker 12 (03:00:16):
I have a pet boa constrictor?

Speaker 1 (03:00:19):
Here?

Speaker 4 (03:00:19):
Here you go here?

Speaker 12 (03:00:23):
And I know people that I went to high school
with their parents had two pet alligators.

Speaker 4 (03:00:30):
Oh my god, Brody, how many tattoos do you have?

Speaker 12 (03:00:35):
Iattooes that my girlfriend has twenty two?

Speaker 5 (03:00:39):
Oh my god, I'm telling you. And do you guys
do you guys have butt sex a lot? I'm telling you.
The people that have, the people that have boa constrictors,
they they didn't don't do a missionary that.

Speaker 4 (03:01:00):
Michael. How you doing, Michael?

Speaker 14 (03:01:02):
I'm doing all right?

Speaker 4 (03:01:03):
What's going on?

Speaker 14 (03:01:05):
I had not a lot first time, long time, and
that a whole lot.

Speaker 17 (03:01:14):
Uh.

Speaker 14 (03:01:14):
I was listening in the segment here and I actually
used to own a raccoon.

Speaker 4 (03:01:20):
Did you did you buy this? Did you capture it?

Speaker 35 (03:01:23):
No?

Speaker 14 (03:01:24):
We captured I used to live in Hudson, Michigan. Small farm.

Speaker 12 (03:01:27):
We were stacking hay up in the barn and the.

Speaker 14 (03:01:29):
Mom of Vandonom found one baby h took it in
and believe it or not, Mojo, they're just like a cat.
We had this cat or it was litter trained and everything.

Speaker 34 (03:01:39):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (03:01:40):
How long did it live?

Speaker 4 (03:01:42):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (03:01:43):
Well, it got to about two and a half. And
as she got older, she got ornery and we kind
of kicked her out of the house as like a teenager, Hey,
you gotta go. Well, no, she didn't let us. She
stayed around. She came back every night and morning for food,
and so we ended up caring for unfortunate. I do
think she ended up getting hit out on the side
of the road.

Speaker 4 (03:02:02):
But what was her name?

Speaker 14 (03:02:04):
Sally?

Speaker 4 (03:02:05):
Sally r?

Speaker 17 (03:02:06):
I p Sally definitely.

Speaker 5 (03:02:09):
But I just got a text from Evelyn who sent
me a text, and this is her pet right here.
She puts like bows in its hair.

Speaker 14 (03:02:22):
To We'd be sitting there playing video games on the
couch and it'd come up, lay its head right there
on your shoulder and fall asleep.

Speaker 4 (03:02:28):
Just what were you feeding me?

Speaker 26 (03:02:31):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (03:02:32):
Cat food and random scraps everything. Yeah. Yeah, they're trash bandits.

Speaker 4 (03:02:39):
I think I don't want to go over to your house, Michael.
I really don't know.

Speaker 14 (03:02:44):
Now, I just have two dogs and a cat.

Speaker 4 (03:02:46):
Okay, what do you think he bring it out the pilot?
Would you like?

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
