it on do not Disturb, so if it's buzzing, I'm
feeling like something is wrong. I pick up the phone.
It's one of my best guy friends. He's gay, and

he's in the bathroom of a restaurant, like, oh my gosh,
I need you to call me in ten minutes because
I'm on this terrible date and I need to. I
need to leave, but I don't know how to say no.
So just act like it's an emergency and tell me
I gotta go. Like are you serious? You can't just
tell this man or like stick it through or something. Yeah,
got me thinking like how are you getting out of

Also, it's that's such an obvious rate that the right,
but that guy is gonna know that he's just.

I called him in ten minutes and I acted frantic.
I didn't even know what I was frantic about, but
I was like, I need your help right now. He

Worried about, Like if you're not a good actor, if

inn or something? I get these things. I'm like, what

the time is I got doctor's appointment. I gotta go

that there's an emergency and you need.

was having a bad date, had my friend call tell

I had to go to Michaels. He needed poster board stickers, blue,
all this stuff. The date, oh my god, said.

I go to Michael's and I'm getting poster board stickers, glue,
paint brushes, glitter, all this crap. Get up to the counter.
It's like eighty some bucks and I don't have my
credit card. And the guy I was trying to get
out of the date for whips' credit card out and
paid for the whole Oh my god.

athletic director a new headed football coach, but also as
of yesterday, the university announced a one billion dollar fundraising
initiative called for Sparta. And this is a plan for
pretty significant upgrades and renovations to all of the athletic
facilities across campus, including Spartan Stadium, the Center.

I was actually at the game last night, Kevin, by

The energy was incredible. Going to the new hire at
football coach. There have been two times in my basketball
life where I've seen someone move the crowd in such
a way where you couldn't miss it. Dan Campbell when
he walked into Little Caasar's arena last year, he just
felt the entire stadium have every single eye on him.

Last night, mirror that really watching.

This guy walk into the stadium, it seemed like everyone
knew he was there. All the individuals who represent the
Green and White screened his name and cheer from and
he seemed to awesome.

You know what is wild is that you know in Spartans,
by the way, you guys definitely need to do some
upgrade Spartan stadium. And because it's tough when you're competing
in NIL. Not only do you got to pay the players,
but the players want to go somewhere where they know
they got great facilities. There is a vibe on campus
with Pat Fitzgerald that you got a synergy now between

the basketball and football programs, which I don't know what
it was like at all with Jonathan Smith if it was,
but it was like this with D'Antonio and Izzo, and
so this guy kind of reminds me a little bit
of D'Antonio in that gut regard.

Yeah, David Melissa, his wife is amazing too. But he
was on the tod Show yesterday and said that he
is now battling tongue cancer, just months after he beat
non Hodgkins lymphoma.

I was shocked.

I went in for a pet scan, just a routine
check up to see how am I progressing, how am
I healing up? And the pet scan revealed something in
my throat right at the base of my tongue. Turned
out it was P sixteen squamous carsonoma, totally unrelated, and
it was like, really.

He's been very very open about his cancer journey, and
he said doctors told him the cancer could have come
from having an HPV virus more than three decades ago.
He said, it's very treatable. There's a ninety percent cure rate.
He is going to start radiation immediately though.

Speaker 37 (19:19):
Early detection is everything. It is now saved my life twice.
So talk to your doctors, get those colonoscopies, get those
breast exams, get those prostate exams. So that's really first
and foremost. You kind of have to stay ahead of it.

And they got on at least the insurance companies got
to offer the MRIs to people because that's the only
way that you can get detected with a lot of these.

You know, the blood then it is.

The blood tests don't always show what you know you
need to see.

This local man, his story has gone viral internationally, an
eighty eight year old US Army veteran from Brighton, Michigan.
The story is so sad, so sweet, has such a
happy ending. His name is ed Bambas, He was forced

to take a job at the myerstore in Brighton five
days a week, eight and a half hours a day
after the pension that he earned from his years of
service to General Motors was wiped out. He had retired
from GM in nineteen ninety nine with the expectation of
a stable pension. Well that didn't happen, because we all
remember what happened. In two thousand and nine, GM went bankrupt.
Many employees lost their pension and retirement benefits. Ed included

hard to have better boundaries and not care so much
about what people think about me or if people like me.

have struggled with my whole entire life, and I have
done it to myself in terms of making my life
harder by not putting my foot down in certain situations
and with certain people. And I feel like lately it
has caught up to me to a point where I'm like, Okay,
I have to take a step back and work on this,

Like this is something that I've been working on with
my therapist, with myself.

But it's so interesting to me because now.

Where normally I feel like I will go above and beyond,

According to a new survey done by lending Tree, one
in four Americans have admitted to stealing an item without
scanning it from a self checkout.

the top reason people said that they stole.

Is because of the current financial climate, it makes paying
for essentials quite unaffordable. Others said that price increases tied
to tariffs, and the belief that prices are too.

High and unfair led them to steal.

Of the thousands of people who were surveyed, men were
twice as likely to steal from a self checkout compared
to win men. The survey also found that forty six
percent of people who stole got caught.

for the lady that was stealing from the Dollar store
