Speaker 5 (03:08):
I didn't think the remix was this everybody.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Let's let's talk about let's get real. Then there we go.
I I've had enough. I've signed off ever since jingle Ball.
I've decided. I've decided that next year I'm going vacationing
after jingle Ball because I feel like we work up
to that point and uh then we have like all
this other stuff to do, and I feel like all
this other stuff that we're doing right now is like

(03:34):
when the last couple of weeks of the either Christmas,
before Christmas vacation or the end of the year, when
the teacher would wheel in that television with the VCR
or the d DVD player and they would start playing movies.
We should just watch Christmas movies the rest of the
day today. I last last night, I literally got to

(03:54):
a point where I got into my car, is going
to come down here. I actually was picking up our
remaining breaking in uding Christmas wish gifts so I can
bring them down here to Lydia, and I walked out
of the business that was nice enough to donate to us.
Thank you to Carl's Golf Land. Give us. They gave
us a bunch of stuff. Over there, Neil and you'll hear,
by the way, what we're doing for a wish? Later

(04:15):
and I was getting ready to head down Telegraph to
go to the Lodge, and I said to myself, I
have been on the Lodge Freeway ten times and four days.
I'm not going on it again because our holiday party
last night. By the way, question for you, did any
of you guys go to the holiday party? I did,
and I drove down to Toledo, im back to make
it back untime.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
Oh my goodness, Oh good for you. I'm just saying,
I know you thought it was a long time.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Yo.

Speaker 7 (04:41):
Wait you right?

Speaker 8 (04:43):
And I had to take twenty three and set of
seventy five because the construction was so bad, so it
took longer.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Okay, good for you.

Speaker 8 (04:48):
Now, by the way, I'm really feeling sympathetic towards your.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
How long was your drive?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
My drive is an hour? You may day. It took
me an hour and ten minutes to get to work yesterday.
My drive would have been driving down the Lodge Freeway
would have taken it from where I was because I
was in way out in water Furdish. It would have
taken me at least fifty five minutes to an that's
an hour. It's closer to an hour than a half hour.

Speaker 7 (05:13):
You know what on the icy roads every once in
a while, And all I.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Would have done was come to a Christmas party at
our radio station.

Speaker 9 (05:21):
Was it wasn't bad as you as. It wasn't as
bad as I thought it was gonna be. I'm gonna
be honest with you. It was a nice vibe it
was The food was nice, the drinks were flowing. They
had a live band, the guys that performed at the
Londen Chop House. They sang and played. They assaw if
it was family atmosphere.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
It was nice. Was it okay?

Speaker 8 (05:39):
Apparently he performs at cliff Balls all the time, so
I need to see him there.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
I like to I like to say that I company
Christmas parties on Thursdays. And the other thing, too, is
I'm a little salty. I'm gonna tell you why I'm
a little salty. Can you tell I'm a little salty?
Because I looked at an empty building yesterday there was
not one person here, and I thought to myself, we
came in the day after jingle Ball. Then I looked
at this empty building, going, oh, I get it. They

(06:03):
gave everybody the day off so they could come to
the Christmas party except for us, except for the on
air staffs of all the radio stations.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
It's not what happened.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
What did they do?

Speaker 7 (06:13):
It was the roads. They said, work from home today,
we'll see later.

Speaker 2 (06:16):
Well, why did we not get that note?

Speaker 8 (06:18):
We don't ever get that note. I don't know if
you know this or John is awesome. And we also
don't get the state of purses everybody else.

Speaker 10 (06:24):
I feel like we should get because they got a date,
we should get a day that we get to use
at our discretion any day.

Speaker 7 (06:30):
Have you guys ever heard of half days around here?
There are early release days. Those don't affect up.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Yeah, they don't know. I don't know. I'm just like
I have to point out. I talked to all the
other people that are friends of mine who are doing
their holiday parties, and a bunch of them are doing
them tonight. And I was one guy. They rented out
the entire back room of one of the nicest restaurants
here in town, literally closed the place down, and they're

(06:54):
going there and everybody is going there and getting picked
up in metro car services. The entire staffs. Now they
have a staff of like sixty people, so that's still
a pretty good staff. We talked last week about you,
uh was it what'shbs place called u w M. They
had like They're off the charts party where they had

(07:15):
like pitbull at it a friend another friend of mine.
They decided that what they were going to do instead
of doing a holiday party here after the first of
the year, they're taking their entire staff on a vacation
to Florida for a long weekend. I'm like going, man,
times supposedly are tough right a year, I couldn't even
drive down the lodge.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
You know.

Speaker 7 (07:36):
Now do it with me for them?

Speaker 11 (07:42):
No?

Speaker 7 (07:42):
Okay, no, no, let me say this to you.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Remember the days when you had to drive from the
city to Farmington Hills or from Toledo to Farmington Hills,
and remember you would be the one griping and moaning.
Now the reverse is here. Yes you did. Did I
ever believe me?

Speaker 8 (08:00):
The lodge scared me when I was new, and y'all
explain that to me. But to be fair from anybody
who's not still in this area, oh, because I would
come up on a few snowy days and I said
I was scary. Now the reverse is here. I don't
really think they're comparable. You complain on a beautiful sunny
day about.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Your drive, I don't. I've never done that that is
real at all. Yesterday, yesterday, I literally when I was
driving to the studios, I said to myself, and I
don't know how any listeners have ever done this. If
you've ever done this, I want to hear it from you.
Are there any listeners that have ever just gotten in
their car to go to work and said I'm not
going in and turned around and went away. I've never
done that before.

Speaker 12 (08:36):
And I.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
I felt bad for you guys yesterday. I will say that,
like I have now, a very very short drive.

Speaker 8 (08:42):
In, so it didn't affect me at all, but even
I was slipping around and I thought, oh, that really
sucks for you guys.

Speaker 7 (08:47):
So in my defense, I did have sympathy for you.
This is yesterday morning. And then after ten am that stopped.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
I'm going to I'm gonna I'm going to out pressure Verrgus.
I was the biggest person during COVID that said we
should all be still coming to work. You know, it
means so much, and we did. We never did not.
Now I'm going to be the opposite. We all should
have stayed home. We all should have stayed home. Now
that I got to do an hour drive every single
day coming in and hanging out with you guys, tell me.

(09:16):
Tell me about the party though, Like dude, Yeah, did
they give any.

Speaker 10 (09:23):
Because I already had previous plans that I had canceled
several times. I was not canceling on these people again.
But if there were goodie bags, I'm going to be upset.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
No goodie bags.

Speaker 8 (09:30):
But I did make a new best friend yesterday, okay,
and her name's Kim. I'm absolutely obsessed with her and
I had talked to her for maybe an hour, hour
and a half and by the end of the night
her and I had an inside joke about her husband
and we have plans to see each.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Other next week.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Who's her husband?

Speaker 8 (09:48):
So he used to be a promo team member here
he's finding with less Eddie. Yeah, and I am yessed
with Kim his wife obsessed. Were fast friends already, so that.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Was I loved this hiding Well, Kim, we missed you
and I You can come down and visit us this
morning if you'd like to, or Leicester is on with
that's what's up, ar Leicester.

Speaker 13 (10:11):
And say good morning to my grandson Josya.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
Hey, what's up.

Speaker 13 (10:18):
I used to work for the Miskins Supreme Court and
my job was driving and I would always get to
work and find out that the office would call to
uh could not come to work, and I would be
sitting at my desk and I drove so slow that
the say troopers always used to pull me over and
tell me to speed up.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
Are you serious?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
So you know what you know the feeling of having
to be at work, but you also know the feeling
then of not getting the messages that work got postponed
or what happened.

Speaker 13 (10:47):
I never got the message because I left out so early,
and by the time I got to work, everybody got
to call and I would be sitting at my desk.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
You know what's funny is with us, I think we're
the test of the roads. They see then they hear
us on the air going it's so bad, and they're like, oh,
we probably shouldn't go into work today. I'm like, wait
a second, what's up, Danny High.

Speaker 11 (11:05):
Hey, good morning everybody, Good morning Mojo trumpty. I found
that way once, not once, multiple times. This is when
I used to live in Ohio years ago when I
used to work over there and I used to be
a DM for a company, and I'd be like, man, i.

Speaker 14 (11:18):
Gotta go check on my source today and I'm like
halfway through.

Speaker 11 (11:21):
Uh, Megan would know this. I guess there's a store
called the Eagle. It's like a Kroger over here. Okay, yep, yep, Ganeagle, yep.
And I passed right by it literally five minutes from
my house, and I'm like, uh, you know what, I'm
gonna go in there and pick up some steaks, so
lamp trucks.

Speaker 15 (11:37):
I'm gonna go barbecue.

Speaker 14 (11:38):
I turned around and just go back to the house.

Speaker 16 (11:40):
You did go to work?

Speaker 14 (11:41):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (11:41):
You barbecue that early? At early in the morning.

Speaker 11 (11:44):
I just got it ready, you know. I mean, I'm
not going in today, my wife, But what are you
doing home? I'm like, I don't feel like going nowhere
work today.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
I hear it.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
I want to have one of those moments where it's
like I don't I don't feel like it. I did
yesterday when I decided not to come. I was like,
I'm not going to the holiday party, honestly, and I'm happy.

Speaker 10 (12:01):
Honestly, I am happy for you because you and I
have talked about excuse me, god, keV, I've got this
throat thing like you do. You and I have talked
about how it is so hard to say no to things,
especially around this time of year, and sometimes for your.

Speaker 5 (12:16):
Own mental health and wellness, you just need.

Speaker 2 (12:19):
A night off when you what is it the saying
when you say yes to.

Speaker 5 (12:25):
When you say yes to something, you're saying no to
something else.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
And usually the no is to you or your family.

Speaker 8 (12:30):
Can I say the real reason why I went to
this party. It's five minutes from my house and it
was free dinner.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Let to be honest, it was easier than going on
a tear carry out like it.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
Was on the way home from Toledo, and I wanted the.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Free fair tea. Actually, you're sitting in your parking lot
right now thinking about not going in.

Speaker 17 (12:49):
No, this is about a year ago.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
I can't make it in Wait a second, you're in
the parking lot and I can see you right now.
You gotta hope that nobody sees you when it happens.
I work it so there's a lot of cars. That's
the beauty of it. Yeah, that would be for so funny. Hey,
Mojo called in sick. Wait a second, I just saw
him in the parking lot right now, what's going on?

(13:16):
All right, Well, it's gonna be I'm gonna change my mood.
I'm changing my mood.

Speaker 7 (13:20):
No, I like this mood.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Taylor Swift the most.

Speaker 10 (16:53):
Decorated female artist in Billboard Music Awards.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
History, by the way, A happy birthday to her.

Speaker 10 (16:58):

though last night she won an award.

Speaker 5 (17:24):
Full disclosure, I did not watch the Billboard Music.

Speaker 2 (17:26):
Well, so Beyonce finally won award for Texas. Hold and
so the Billboards were the only ones that have given
her any kind of credit for the fact because she
got a lot of airplay for it. So hold on
one second, m we go back to Taylor and here
you go, here's your Taylor Swift audio. I know I
got to give you some love on that one.

Speaker 3 (17:45):

Speaker 20 (17:45):
Everything that's happened with the airs tour and the torture

Speaker 20 (17:52):
It means the world to me that you guys have
embraced the things I've made, you know, and the fact
that you've cared so much about my music.

Speaker 5 (17:58):
And this is like the nicest early birthday present you
could have given me.

Speaker 7 (18:04):
So thank you very much. I love it. It's exactly
what I wanted.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
So nice. I didn't show up for it.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Really nobody did.

Speaker 10 (18:11):
Yeah, top new artist went to as Mojo says Chappelle. Rowan,
do you have that clip?

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Oh no, no, no, I'm sorry. I didn't get your clips.

It's not okay. Damn it, No, it is not. I'm
a messing up the dark.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I am.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
I'm sorry. I apologize. Here we go.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
This is Chicken.

Speaker 8 (18:33):
A long time to be a new artist, but it's
awesome to be recognized and all these years of hard work.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
Nobody there, nobody tap male artists. Don't worry. I don't
need this clip.

Speaker 10 (18:48):
Morgan Wallen and our new buddy Teddy Swims to comb
top Hot one hundred song and top Radio song for
Lose control.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Marito Wallen can't be there. He was in court.

Speaker 10 (18:55):
Yes, yeah, that's a great story we'll have for you
next hour. But speaking of Taylor Swift, by the way,
I did see, yes, that she spent some time meeting
kids on the oncology and hematology floors at Children's Mercy
Hospital in Kansas City.

Speaker 7 (19:08):
That it was so sweet, she sang.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
She posed for photos with all of the patients and
their family. So I always love to say that.

Speaker 10 (19:14):
Some new lawsuits against Ditty, and these are coming from
three men who claimed that Didty drugged and then raped
them at two Manhattan hotels and at his Hampton's estate.
And you guys, these happened in twenty nineteen and twenty
twenty two, so pretty recent. One of the men recalled
that during the incident, once Ditty was finished raping him,

(19:37):
he handed him off to others so they could all
take turns.

Speaker 5 (19:40):
And this is something we've.

Speaker 10 (19:41):
Heard in prior allegations. Each lawsuit alleges that Diddy served
the victims alcoholic drinks spiked with drugs that made them
feel ill and lose consciousness, only to.

Speaker 5 (19:53):
Wake up as Ditty was raping them.

Speaker 10 (19:57):
Paris Hilton's stop Institutional Child Abuse Act passed unanimously in
the US Senate yesterday with all one hundred senators on board.
This legislation was really personal to Paris after remember she
bravely shared her own very painful experiences about the physical, emotional,
and sexual abuse that she suffered at these youth residential

(20:20):
treatment facilities. I think they were in Utah, the one
specifically she was talking about. Now, the bill still needs
to go through the US House of Representatives before it
reaches President Biden's desk, but it's well on its way, and.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
The Lions taken on the Buffalo bills this Sunday.

Speaker 10 (20:35):
And did you guys see they had to cancel practice
yesterday in Buffalo because there was more than thirty inches
of snow on the ground, travel restrictions, the weather was
a mess. So I think they've only had one practice
this week and that was on Wednesday. They did a walkthrough.
To my understanding, today, when the snow's expected to end,
the team will have their first full like in person practice,

(21:00):
although it's typically a shorter practice to end the week.

Speaker 7 (21:03):
But I would in places that have stadiums and areas
with bad weather have an indoor stadium.

Speaker 2 (21:12):
That's the beauty of Buffalo, and I think that's their
home field advantage. But they're building them a new stadium.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
I don't they are.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
I don't know though, if it's got a top a
roof on it. Though I think it's going to be
an open air stadium. You would think it's practice facilities.
But here's the thing. It wasn't about the facility. Because
they have an indoor facility for practicing, the players could
not get out on the roads.

Speaker 10 (21:30):
Yea, yeah, yeah, I mean thirty inches of snow is insanity.

Speaker 7 (21:34):
That makes sense. But I'm going to be really honest.
I love football.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
I hate outdoor stadiums. I just I don't feel so
football has started to play, but I don't like snow games.
I don't think they're fun to watch. I don't think
that they are playing regular football. They're playing more reserves
so they don't get injured. It's not like I think
there's something special about it. But I don't think it's
very fun.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
I think there's nothing better than a Pittsburgh Steelers game
in Pittsburgh, and it's like snowing all over the place.

Speaker 10 (22:00):
Said thirty inches thirty inches more than more. You're supposed
to stop today, I'm.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Babe, will take the advantage of them. Maybe this practice
is thing is going to help us who knows? Yeah,
because we need a lot of help, because we are
our defense is still kind of banged up.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
But for all of Today's Dirty, you can catch up

Speaker 3 (27:40):

Going into the weekend, strong, Congratulations to you. You got twelve.

(29:05):

it's always going to be good luck on the show.
So congratulations to you. See you Monday.

Speaker 15 (29:16):
All right, thank you guys, have a great week I too.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Hey Blake, tell everybody that you're working with that we

Congratulations to you, buddy Robin.

Speaker 15 (29:33):
Yum, I love it.

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Have a great weekend, buddy.

Speaker 15 (29:38):
Ah, you guys appreciated its.

Speaker 12 (29:40):
Mojo in the Morning's five is six fifty five five five.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
WQ on Detroit US whisk till we Go, three great stations,
one stupid show.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
This is Mojo in the Morning. Lie, before I get
into the Christmas Wish, can I throw out a couple
of thank yous. I want to thank our friends from
RSL Medical Marketing and our good friends Ryan Samantha Lash
and their beautiful children, Jaden and Madison. They are huge
contributors to our breaking entering Christmas Wish, not only just monetarily,

(30:18):
but Ryan's our biggest cheerleader. Ryan's out like shaking cash
out of his buddy's pockets and so that's not a yeah.
He literally is like, you're gonna do this, And so
we thank him, and we thank his family because they
are so great, So I just want to throw them
a huge shout out and also thank out our buddy
Paul Glance from Imagine. The RSL Medical Marketing team and

(30:43):
the Imagined team have consistently been the strongest supporters of
breaking and entering Christmas wish And they don't do it
for me to do this, That's the beauty of the
whole thing. They do it because they truly care and
they love. They listen every morning. I get the the
mentions from Paul and from Ryan specifically where they'll say,
oh my god, I was crying in my car, oh
my god, it's great, or what else can we do?

(31:04):
Like there always think bigger with things, and Lydia, am
I right in saying this. This has been the most
consistent year where every single wish that we get done with,
somebody calls up and wants to help the families or
the people out more than we've ever had in our lives.

Speaker 4 (31:22):
And yeah, I have not had one family yet that
hasn't gotten extra donations or extra submissions for them.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
It's just absolutely unbelievable. So it's a testament obviously to
the kindness of the people that listen to this radio show.
So thank you, guys, We love you for that. Mojo's
Wish dot Org if you would like to grant a
Christmas wish this holiday season, we are doing a Mojo
in the Morning Christmas wish. Right now, we go out
on the streets to KP where there's a really tragic

(31:51):
story some people may have seen on the news that
we want to tell everybody about, but we also want
to make something happy for a family. KP. Are you
in position right now?

Speaker 28 (32:01):
Hi?

Speaker 29 (32:01):
We're about seven minutes away from their house. It was
a little bit of a longer drive today, but this
is definitely worth it.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
Okay, should I go into a topic or something and
then uh and then do it? What do you think
Lydia seven minutes away? YEA, all right, Well, so I'll
break back to you right after this next this next topic, okay,
I that's this one. A lot of people might have
seen it on the news. The police officer and Warren

(32:30):
who tragically is uh it looks like paralyzed from the
neck down.

Speaker 5 (32:39):
I'm hearing because of a hunting accent. Yeah, just a
horrific story.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
And he's uh leaving. You know, a lot of people
worried about him that right now are on the Warren
Police Force. So we're going to do that coming up
here in just a second. Don't say anything, though, because
we're going to get that to the you guys coming
up here next on the show. All right, it's Mojo
in the Morning Show. Let me talk about my Christmas

(33:05):
wish that I'm doing for somebody. I'm granting a Christmas
wish for Zach Zach from our show, the expert podcasting guy,
what do we call him, the executive audio audio producer. Well,
I just got a new phone, my my Apple phone
upgrade cam and they give you know, you do that

(33:26):
whole thing. You ever do that at all?

Speaker 14 (33:28):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (33:28):
Do I need to do this?

Speaker 2 (33:29):
I do it every two years. They'll give you a
they'll give you a thing if you do their little
plan thing. And so my new phone came and I
have the choice of trading in my old phone and
getting I think they were offering me like three hundred
dollars or three hundred fifty bucks for the thing, maybe
maybe even more, I don't know. I didn't didn't have

(33:49):
him go in and take a look at it, and
I thought I saw Zach is What are you using
right now? What's your Apple iPhone?

Speaker 15 (33:56):
Ten?

Speaker 2 (33:57):
He's got ten, he's on ten. Let me see, Let
me see. It's a lot. Do you still have the
little button on it, the little circle button in the bottom?

Speaker 3 (34:06):
No?

Speaker 2 (34:06):
Okay, when did they switch? All right? So I'm giving
my old phone to Zach, but I'm giving it to
him with a little bit of fear. I am fearful
that Zach is going to somehow get my information, because
I truly believe, no matter how much you wipe your
information off of this thing, that there is still a

(34:27):
chance that whoever gets your phone or your computer, if
you give it to him, is somehow looking at your
porn or looking at your or knowing your you know,
credit card numbers, or your passwords or any of that stuff.
What are you more afraid of the porn passwords? Not
passwords or porn the passwords because I use virtually similar
passwords for almost anything, and at that point then he

(34:49):
gets into everything else. So I was so I wanted
to ask his question, has anybody ever done this where
you gave somebody some kind of a you know, electronic device,
only to know that you're later they were still using
your information on the deal. Am I going to get
burned by this?

Speaker 3 (35:05):
Ac?

Speaker 2 (35:06):
I mean, is your Netflix pense word on it?

Speaker 3 (35:08):
It is?

Speaker 2 (35:10):
And YouTube TV's on there too, and that just and
that just went up that you don't have the factory reciting.
By the way, YouTube tv is the same price as Xvinity.
I just want you to know that they're they're seriously
up to Now that's a three story today.

Speaker 10 (35:23):
Okay, can I tell you something so you This was
a couple of years ago, we're so kind and I
was going to buy smith, maybe one of the kids,
an iPad, and you were like, do not do that.

Speaker 5 (35:32):
I have one that I don't use. You can just
have it whatever, And for what I know, you wiped it.

Speaker 10 (35:38):
But for whatever reason, whenever we tried to log into anything,
it was your email address that would keep coming up.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Oh Jesus, and.

Speaker 10 (35:46):
Not that my kids context because they can't they don't
have you know, we don't obviously they don't have phones
or phone numbers or anything like that.

Speaker 5 (35:52):
But if they.

Speaker 10 (35:52):
Clicked the little messages tab, all of the text messages
that were.

Speaker 5 (35:56):
There still when you gave us the thing.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Oh no, wait, so could you read my text messages?

Speaker 7 (36:03):
But it wouldn't let you.

Speaker 5 (36:04):
It wouldn't let you scroll, so like I could see,
it was just the ones that were there. It was
just the ones that were right there.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
That's the problem is I don't believe that these these
factory resets. Wait, which ones did they read?

Speaker 10 (36:14):
I want to know if they it was obviously nothing incriminating,
or it would have been made a topic of.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
It was all boring stuff.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Because that's the biggest worry is you go in there
and it's all of a sudden, like what do you say,
bound but your wow, wow, Yeah, I don't want Shannon's
got a folder on you just in caid Zach. So
I'm gonna here's the I'm wiping it this weekend. So
I'm gonna wipe it clean this weekend. Then I'm gonna
hold on to it for it like literally maybe twenty

(36:41):
four hours. I'll do it. I'll do it tonight, I'll
hold on to it, and then Monday I'll bring it
into you. Even in the old box. I'm gonna give
you the old box, the charger and all that stuff.
Why but if you find anything on there that is
written about any member of this radio show, you already
give it back to me and we're gonna do it
and you cannot do it exactly.

Speaker 8 (37:02):
Art.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
What's going on? It's Mojoe in the morning. What's happening?

Speaker 14 (37:05):
Hey, what's up? Good morning? Long time listener. Hey, I
just wanted to say that for really not for a time,
but anyways, you can't do that, Listen. This is so

(37:27):
like when you said what you said. I'm paranoid too
because we got.

Speaker 26 (37:33):
You what.

Speaker 2 (37:35):
H what'd you say?

Speaker 3 (37:37):
Art?

Speaker 2 (37:39):
That's what you get for. That's what happens to you, Art, Jacob,
you call back Art? What's up, Tiffany? How you doing?

Speaker 30 (37:51):
Good morning, guys, Good morning?

Speaker 2 (37:52):
What's happening?

Speaker 4 (37:54):
So?

Speaker 24 (37:54):
An Ex and I we broke our clothes and we
got a new phone from your aunt and.

Speaker 29 (37:59):
She's god to dely some photos.

Speaker 18 (38:02):
So there was some photos on hers that were not
appropriate for us from Auntie.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
Yes, what kind of photos? Like can you can you describe?
Like what was Auntie doing?

Speaker 15 (38:15):
She was completely naked?

Speaker 2 (38:18):
And who is she sending these things too? Was she
send it to uncle or to somebody else?

Speaker 23 (38:22):
Oh, to somebody else?

Speaker 7 (38:26):
Looking good?

Speaker 12 (38:28):
She was.

Speaker 2 (38:30):
Really? Oh my god, that is awesome. I love it.
Hold on arts back with us, Artsy you lied to us.
So it screwed you over? What's going on?

Speaker 27 (38:40):
All right?

Speaker 14 (38:41):
So I don't know how far I got. But anyways,
we got the phone from Disney blah blah blah. They
didn't work as good. We returned them. Two months later,
I get a letter or I get a phone call
that Texans want to talk to me. I'm freaking out,
like I'm in trouble. I did something wrong. I did nothing.
I'm at Taco Bell. They come meet me up there,
send down them talking to him, and they said, you know,

(39:02):
did you have cell phone whatever? I said yeah. And
then next thing you know, he goes well, a family
suing the phone company, and I said for what? And
he goes well, family bought the phones. And the little
girl that got my phone because I deleted everything, I
swear to God. And the little girl found a depict

(39:22):
that I sent to the white swhere. Hey, tell me,
tell me why, though, tell me why. This cop just
has the nerve to go. I wasn't impressed.

Speaker 5 (39:32):
I'm like, do you have a little penis?

Speaker 14 (39:37):
No, that's jealousy, that's unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
Why are the cops asking you to meet the taco bill?
Because it was because it was the cops wife that
he gave the phone to.

Speaker 14 (39:48):
Right, no, no, no, no, A family, A family bought
the phone.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
The phone, okay, I thought it wasting them, so the cop.
So the cop was, oh my god, that's a crazy when.

Speaker 14 (40:02):
Makes that meet up? I said, community at work, you know,
and I talked to the bout They're like cool whatever.
But it was just funny when he said that, and
I was thinking, oh man, you know, like the part
of the law.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
But hey, quick question for you, and this is very
this is very important. Is it really small?

Speaker 7 (40:18):
No?

Speaker 14 (40:19):
No, kickstands?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (40:23):
Chris?

Speaker 2 (40:24):
How you doing?

Speaker 14 (40:25):
Not too bad? First time?

Speaker 15 (40:28):
Long time?

Speaker 2 (40:31):
Now I'm doubting everybody those what's up?

Speaker 3 (40:35):
So?

Speaker 13 (40:35):
I recently found out that when you delete contexts from your.

Speaker 15 (40:39):
Phone, they do not disappear.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Really yeah.

Speaker 19 (40:43):
I rented a Santa Fe from Enterprise.

Speaker 23 (40:46):
The other day, and when I connected my phone.

Speaker 19 (40:50):
And allowed it to see my context, it was pulling
up context I deleted out of my phone from like
two years ago.

Speaker 2 (40:56):
Oh my gosh. So that's that's that's scary thought, because
I got some contacts in there. I don't know if
I want Zach actually seeing you.

Speaker 14 (41:04):
Know, Yeah, it's probably more than just contact.

Speaker 2 (41:08):
Although I would tell you this that I would actually
be fine if Zach would do all my phone call
returns to Aunt Pat. Maybe yeah, maybe Zach would you
would you do that for me? I would do that
for you. You're in that such a nice guy.

Speaker 3 (41:23):
Well, I'm gonna make them your personal secretary.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
That's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna I'm gonna give Zach.
I'm gonna give Zach this phone next week. And you
guys got to judge for me. If you think that
Zach found something on there by the stories that he
starts telling us on the radio, I think something's gonna
be coming up. All right, what do you get the
hell out of Dodge? Yeah, we got a plane and
the tickets to go to Florida with Mojo in the Morning.

(41:45):
Listen to seven to get in on Mojo.

Speaker 3 (41:48):

that trip to Miami. Last qualifier coming up this morning.

Christmas Wish. KP is out on the streets with a
heartbreaking story that you might have seen on the New
US about a Warren police officer KP. This is going
to be a different wish. Hi, how are you you?
You've already broken in. You're already at their home and

(42:11):
in their home because this police officer is still in
the hospital right now.

Speaker 29 (42:16):
Well just yet, We're going to walk right up to
the door.

Speaker 31 (42:18):

and we're going to give this stamily nex Christmas of
their dream.

you know, family is still there. Grandma's right hanging out
Lydia at the house, yes, okay, And Lydia where is
Where is Mom? Who is a Waterford teacher?

Speaker 4 (42:42):
So Mom is currently with father Nick, who is in
rehab right now. They are out of state. Okay, but
they don't want their location disclosed.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
That's okay. And Holly is Holly?

Speaker 14 (42:53):
Is mom?

Speaker 2 (42:53):
Right?

Speaker 20 (42:54):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (42:54):
All right, here we go. We're going up knocking on
the door. Grandma will be there, scaring them. It's Grandma Roseanne,
Grandpa Bob. They're hanging out right now. A knuckles different,
She's got some knock.

Speaker 29 (43:10):
Hi are you Jack?

Speaker 27 (43:12):
Hi?

Speaker 17 (43:12):
Jack?

Speaker 29 (43:13):
We had some special delivery for you. Are you busy?

Speaker 27 (43:16):

Speaker 29 (43:16):
No, we're eating breakfast kind of Is it okay if

Speaker 2 (43:23):
Okay?

Speaker 15 (43:23):
Is it going to come in?

Speaker 2 (43:24):
That's so cute.

Speaker 5 (43:26):
Jack is seven.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
Oh my gosh, are you Grandma?

Speaker 29 (43:30):
I am, I'm Patty, Patty on the phone for you.

Speaker 2 (43:34):

Speaker 2 (44:11):
All right, here we go. Lydia is going to dial up.
This is one of those ones where we always will
ask you guys as listeners, to you know, pull together
and to say some prayers. This is one. Please do that. Hi, Holly, Holly, Hi,
It's Mojo from Mojo in the Morning's. This is Mojo

(44:38):
from the Mojo in the Morning show. Hi, Hi, Hi,
I'm sorry we're catching you off guard. I know, Holly,
we received a letter about your family for our Mojo
in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program, and
I was wondering, do you have a moment right now

(44:59):
so that we can read.

Speaker 16 (45:00):
Oh.

Speaker 23 (45:01):
Yes, Dear Mojo in the Morning. My name is Sue,
and I'm writing to tell you the story of the
cot family. Nick is a Warn police officer, Holly is
a third grade Waterford school teacher, and their son, Jack
is a second grader at Cooley Elementary. On November seventeenth,

(45:23):
Nick injured his neck in a hunting accident. He fell
from his hunting blind and was on the ground for
hours before.

Speaker 7 (45:29):
His family found him.

Speaker 23 (45:31):
In seconds.

Speaker 15 (45:32):
His entire life changed.

Speaker 23 (45:34):
He is now paralyzed from the neck down. Nick has
been on a ventilator full time, and just this past
weekend was able to begin taking small breaths with the
aid of a trake ventilator. Nick has a long, long
road ahead of him, but these small improvements are big

(45:57):
steps in Nick's recovery. Mojo, your team and our community
can help the cup family this holiday season by making
sure they have a proper Christmas at.

Speaker 7 (46:12):
U of M Hospital.

Speaker 23 (46:14):
Jack's world has been turned upside down and to have
Fanta presence and a holiday meal with his dad would
mean the world to him and his family. Let's grant
this breaking and entering wish. Sincerely, Sue Austin, Oh, Sue, Hollie.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
I heard about this story not just from Sue. I
heard about the story from literally hundreds of people. Nick's
officer buddies, to all of your parents and Stuart and
fellow teachers that know you and know how great your
family is. And we want you to know that this

(47:09):
is one big community that is coming together for you, guys,
and we know Nick is going to get better.

Speaker 14 (47:17):
Yeah, we know you.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
We want you to focus all your tension on Nick
and let us and everybody that's part of this wish
focus our attention on Jack and make sure that Jack
has the best Christmas.

Speaker 13 (47:36):
Oh God, I can't even talk.

Speaker 2 (47:39):
You don't have to. Yeah, we we have our we
have our yeah we Hey, Grandma Rosanna, will you tell
Hollywood what is going on right now at your home?

Speaker 11 (48:03):
Oh?

Speaker 18 (48:03):
Patty, this is Paddy, Yeah, yeah, it's me.

Speaker 21 (48:12):
They came out and this cool Weather was sitting up
front of the house waiting for it.

Speaker 13 (48:17):
Doesn't make the phone call.

Speaker 21 (48:19):
All this cool weather in their hands are just filled
with gifts. What I know, all his cool friends say hello, Hi, Hell.

Speaker 18 (48:31):
We love you.

Speaker 2 (48:33):
Wait, every one of your friends and family, and we
got so many people from the community together here. We
have truckloads of gifts to bring to your home for
you for Nick Jack.

Speaker 18 (48:50):
Oh, Hi, Holly, surprise, it's Jen Jen.

Speaker 21 (49:00):
I don't know. Everybody's saying this here Nicky to Jeff.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
Everybody there to.

Speaker 7 (49:11):
Hi Holly.

Speaker 32 (49:11):
We're just so so happy that we were able to
do this for you. Guys and Mojo in the morning
have just stepped up to the plate. This is going
to be a wonderful Christmas for you, guys.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Thanks, thank you.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
Holly. We want to let you know just a few
of the things that we have for you that you
will eventually get a chance to see. Will will FaceTime
you from home just so you can hear and see
you everything we're going to We're gonna make sure Jack
gets every single toyle that's on his Christmas lift, from
his Xbox to his Sonic games, to the clothes that
he wanted. And we understand that Jack is a huge

(49:48):
golf fanatic at seven years old. Our friends from just
down the street from where you guys are Carl's golf Land.
There they are giving him everything that he would need
for golf, a brand new set of clubs, all the
all the shoes, the balls, and they said, Neil Felman
said that anytime Jack comes into Carl's golf lane, he

(50:12):
does not pay to go play.

Speaker 19 (50:18):
I'm excited.

Speaker 10 (50:20):
And Holly, we have so many gifts for you, including
a laptop so you can work remotely while you're taking
care of your husband.

Speaker 33 (50:29):
We've got bodies for you and food, gift cards and
new clothes.

Speaker 10 (50:36):
And just so many incredible things. And and of course
we can't forget about Nick.

Speaker 2 (50:43):
No, we're not going to forget about Nick. Nick is
going to Nick is going to get everything that he's
going to need for the comforts of home while he's
on his recovery.

Speaker 3 (50:52):
We're going to give you right now.

Speaker 2 (50:58):
Yeah, how is I was gonna ask you, and I'm
gonna tell you what we're getting from because we got
a big surprise. How is how is Nick doing? How's
the recovery doing? Right now?

Speaker 18 (51:09):
He's doing that.

Speaker 29 (51:14):
Baby step.

Speaker 2 (51:17):
You got a structor.

Speaker 18 (51:19):
He can't he said, he can't talk right now. We
can't talk.

Speaker 19 (51:24):
But the doctors and nurses are just taking such great
care of them here.

Speaker 2 (51:29):
Yeah, they're the best, the best of the best out
there at you of M. We love those guys. We
are going to get Nick a bunch of things. We
got Nick an echo so that he can voice command everything.
We've got him iPads to help him in his recovery.

Speaker 21 (51:45):
Were yesterday Nick.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
A new TV for the for the room. We got
tons of door dash gift cards so that you guys
can have meals sent to your house. But one of
the biggest things that we're going to do is something
that we think will be the best thing for Nick
and for Jack, because we understand that one of the
things that Nick loved to do when he was off
duty was to give Jack his baths and get him
ready for bed every single night, pick him up.

Speaker 5 (52:11):
The stairs every night. So we're going to help you
out with that.

Speaker 10 (52:14):
And this is a huge shout out to Tommy and
everybody over at the Creative Mobility Group who have helped
us out with breaking and entering year after year. But
they are going to be installing a stair lift in
your home, okay, so you don't have to worry about
Nick getting upstairs, and Nick and Jack can still go
up those stairs together every single night to bed.

Speaker 2 (52:35):
Oh thank you, Holly. Nick is an amazing man. You've
seen him overcome a lot of things in his life.
First off, the biggest thing he got, your love. Right,

(52:55):
He's going to get better through the power of prayer.
In our listeners, more than four million of them are
going to be praying for him right now.

Speaker 10 (53:04):
Oh thank you.

Speaker 2 (53:07):
Everybody that's hanging out right now at your house wants
you to know that Grandma and Grandpa are making it
a lot of fun for Jack right now. That that's
a fun house, isn't it. Guys KP, I'm gonna let
I'm gonna let you tell everybody to make it festive
for him, and let's let's make this the best Christmas
wish that we've ever done.

Speaker 11 (53:28):
All right, everybody in.

Speaker 21 (53:29):
The counter three day, Merry Christmas, one two three.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
God bless you, Hollie, God bless you in the family.

Speaker 21 (53:41):
Thank you so much, Oh thank you.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Crying I'm getting I'm getting so many text messages from
your students over the years that that know that you
are the best teacher ever. I cannot leave how many
people you have touched their lives that now want to
go and give back to you, to touch you and
your family. This is beautiful. Oh my god. Hold on

(54:10):
a second. Somebody actually one of the students is on
on the line here real quick for Holly. I think
we got disconnected from Holly. So but Caitlyn, you're there. Yeah, yep, Hi, Caitlin, Caitlyn,
I understand that that your son was one of ms Natsu.

Speaker 7 (54:32):
She has Hendricks in her class right now.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
She does, and you guys wanted to send a message
that keep everything good at home and you guys will
be good at school.

Speaker 18 (54:43):
Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (54:45):
Yeah. Hold on, Hold on a second, hold on real quick,
real quick. I'm gonna pick Holly up. Holly. Yeah, hey, Holly.
On the phone right now is Hendrick's mom, you know,
from one of your current students. She wants to say
something in Hendricks.

Speaker 34 (55:01):
Hendrey, good morning, I had drinks.

Speaker 13 (55:06):
How war are you, buddy?

Speaker 5 (55:08):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 7 (55:09):
I missed you.

Speaker 11 (55:11):
You book.

Speaker 21 (55:13):
Oh thanks, buddy.

Speaker 34 (55:14):
I wish I could just give you a big hug
right now.

Speaker 24 (55:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 14 (55:19):
Bud.

Speaker 21 (55:20):
Here everybody here.

Speaker 27 (55:22):

Speaker 3 (55:25):
Buddy, Thank you, thank.

Speaker 2 (55:27):
You, God, bless you, Hollie, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 20 (55:33):
Thank you so much, thank you, thank you, thank you,

Speaker 2 (55:36):
Give give Nick a big hug for us. Okay, okay,
mojoh on the morning breaking entering Christmas wish granting wishes
at mojoswish dot org and uh man, that was a
that was an amazing family. And KP is gonna have
video of all this put up and posted later today
and you will be able, obviously to go and look

(55:58):
at and get a little bit more information. And if
you have anything that you can do to help this
family or any of the families, please you can go
to Mojo's wish dot orger text us here at the
radio station. Hi, Roy, what's happening?

Speaker 22 (56:12):
Hey?

Speaker 35 (56:12):
Do you know how hard it is to drive on
Toledo Roads with water coming out of your eyes?

Speaker 2 (56:20):
You need a doctor to check that out.

Speaker 3 (56:21):
Roy.

Speaker 35 (56:23):
Never has been more important that it takes a village
from the life. Yes, you guys, Rock, I have twins
that are almost forty and they lived with their grandma
and grandpa for much.

Speaker 15 (56:35):
Of their life.

Speaker 35 (56:37):
He was paralyzed and they got that stair lift that
was a game changer, a life changer.

Speaker 27 (56:45):
He is.

Speaker 15 (56:47):
Oh my goodness that he's and that day.

Speaker 35 (56:50):
That he's never going to have to use it again. Yeah,
is going to be the best day in that whole
family's life because those printers are coming.

Speaker 2 (56:57):
Dude, it's amazing.

Speaker 5 (56:58):
A great phone call.

Speaker 2 (56:59):
Thank you, Creative Mobility. We got to say thank you
to them. We got to give a huge shout out
to them. The other things we didn't get a chance
to throw out, but Kroger is going to give them
all the food that they'll need to get through this season.
The Detroit Zoo set them up with VIP passes so
that Jack has some places to go to with their
zoo lights happening. We've got gingerbread houses. We got our

(57:24):
friend Mike Sarafo over at his salons setting us up
with all kinds of great things. Aesthetica Medspot wants Mom
to be able to get some facials, and we're going
to write them a check so that we can help
them with their bills to get through. Because I'm a
police officer and at school teacher's salary, something as tragic

(57:45):
as what just happened to them is going to require
some help. So thank you to everybody that helps us
with breaking entering Christmas wish. Right now, we're going to
give you the last chance to go to Florida. I
want to go to Miami. This is your shot. Yeah,
four to four, MODI live. I know eight six six
six four eight ninety fifth callar. You're our last qualifier.

(58:08):
Win a fifty dollars cash card and I will pick
a grand prize winner for that. Who's winning to throwback
throw down this morning? We'll find out in thirty.

Speaker 3 (58:16):
Jordian Mornings, Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 5 (58:20):
He is guilty.

Speaker 10 (58:21):
Morgan Wallings leaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts in a
Nashville courtroom yesterday.

Speaker 5 (58:25):
And this whole stems from him throwing that chair off.

Speaker 10 (58:28):
Of the balcony of a Nashville rooftop barb back in April.

Speaker 27 (58:32):
Do you understand what it takes like the law.

Speaker 2 (58:34):
And you're found guilty of what your charges?

Speaker 27 (58:36):
Yes, ma'am, I understand that you are entering a plead
guilty to two pounds of branks in djam and you
will receive a sentence of eleven months and twenty nine days,
all suspended except seven days.

Speaker 5 (58:49):
So I don't really understand. Does that mean he's going
to deal for a week, seven.

Speaker 2 (58:52):
Days, seven days in a treatment facility?

Speaker 20 (58:54):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (58:54):
Okay, yeah, okay, I was, yeah, I was trying to
understand what that sentence meant.

Speaker 2 (58:57):
But what man't know you're gonna come down on him.
You won't even come down.

Speaker 3 (59:01):
On jay Z.

Speaker 9 (59:04):
Jay Z is accused and he's accused. Yes, you want
me to come down and accuse men? The guy threw
a chair off at the bar.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Guilty man? No, But I'm saying, well, okay, well what
about let's go back.

Speaker 5 (59:16):
Do you think that's that it's a light sentence.

Speaker 9 (59:18):
I don't think really, No, I mean I don't. I
don't think this seven day little treatment thing is real.
Though you'll probably do it at the house or okay.

Speaker 7 (59:27):
Because he probably claimed that he has it. He claimed
he has a drinking problem.

Speaker 5 (59:30):
Right, I don't know if he claims that in court.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
I'm sure he did. I'm sure there was part of
his defense. But I but I will but I'll say
this though, you come down on some but you can't.
We can't go. I'm telling you I think that I
think everybody. I think all these guys probably when they
go to court will get their just deserts. I think
that was probably a just desert for throwing a chair
off of the top of a roof. Wait, what do
you think he should do? Should he go to jail forever?

Speaker 14 (59:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (59:56):
Lock him up? Yeah, never have to do a country
song ever again. He got to go on tour, I'm sure.

Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
All right.

Speaker 10 (01:00:03):
Uh, let's talk about the legendary, the lovable Dick Van Dyke,
who's celebrating his ninety ninth birthday today.

Speaker 7 (01:00:09):
By the way, tell you what sharedon was like, did
you have that Dick Vandyk story? The first like I said,
was is he still a lie?

Speaker 16 (01:00:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:00:17):
No he is.

Speaker 10 (01:00:18):
And thanks to his neighbors who saved him because he
was struggling to evacuate his home during those fires, those
wildfires that are happening across Malibu right now.

Speaker 2 (01:00:27):
I was trying to crawl to the car.

Speaker 16 (01:00:30):
I had exhausted myself. I couldn't get up, and three
neighbors came and carried me out and came back and
put out a little fire in the guest house.

Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
He was trying to reach like a fire hose that
he had.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
How does Dick Van not have somebody taking care of him?

Speaker 10 (01:00:45):
Well, it was him and his wife and their I
think they're cats. Okay, that needed to get out. She's
younger than him, but still Yeah, but he did update
his fans on Facebook and said he and his wife
and the pets made it to safety.

Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
I think a guy like that should probably not be
living in a home by himself. Don't they have like
those nice She's fifty three.

Speaker 8 (01:01:04):
Yeah, and when you see him, he's like very physically
able for his age, Like I promise you. He did
an event for celebrating Mary Poppins and this was like
a year ago. He was moving around a lot more
than you would think for a ninety eight year old, and.

Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
He was just Jimmy Kimmel. I think it was. I
think it was Jimmy Kimmel and heways. Yeah. I mean,
I'm not saying the guy's gonna go run a marathon,
but it's I don't think he needs assistance to move around.

Speaker 13 (01:01:29):
It so cute.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
He's so cute.

Speaker 7 (01:01:42):
It turns out as the first man I was ever
in love with.

Speaker 10 (01:01:46):
Selina Gomez and Benny Blanco announced this week the day
before yesterday that they are in fact engaged, and they're
big congrats to them. They actually got engaged back in August.
And the story that I'm hearing is that they decided
to lay going public with this happy news over concerns
that it would be tied to her ex, Justin Bieber,
becoming a dad for the first time. She didn't want

(01:02:09):
to be accused of stealing the spotlight from Justin and
Haley having their baby.

Speaker 5 (01:02:13):
So they said, Okay, we're keeping a quiet for a
couple of months.

Speaker 8 (01:02:16):
And yeah, do you think she talked to Haley because
Haley commented.

Speaker 5 (01:02:21):
Or Hailey liked to Haley liked her post about her engagement.

Speaker 7 (01:02:24):
Yeah, I they talked about it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:27):
I would say no, but I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:02:29):
I don't know if anybody watches vander Pump Rules, one
of the starts of that show. James Kennedy has been
arrested for domestic violence. Police we're called to a home
on Tuesday night and response to an argument between a
man and a woman. The investigation determined it was a
domestic incident, which led to the arrest of the Bravo star.
He has posted twenty thousand dollars bail well for while

(01:02:50):
formal there we go charges our pen name and popular
drink where brand Stanley just issued a recall of two
point six million trials little mugs over potential burn hazards.
So if you have a Stanley, this recall applies specifically
to the Stanley switch back and trigger action stainless steel

(01:03:11):
travel mugs.

Speaker 2 (01:03:12):
But it's not the that not the popular ones, right,
it's the.

Speaker 10 (01:03:17):
Yeah, it's like the tumbler one like, and it's all
the sizes, all the twelve to twenty ounces one that
you put.

Speaker 7 (01:03:24):
Like hot coffee. I think the popular ones, right.

Speaker 10 (01:03:28):
So the the recall is because of the detachable lids,
and I guess they got ninety reports of people getting burned,
like burned badly enough to require medical attention. So Stanley
is saying, please immediately stop using the recalled travel mug
and then contact Stanley to get a free replacement lid.
If you do, in fact, go to their website and
get all the information.

Speaker 2 (01:03:48):
But go bro, why you're now going through her instagram.

Speaker 10 (01:03:56):

Speaker 2 (01:05:16):

Speaker 5 (01:07:48):
So I feel like.

Speaker 10 (01:07:51):
Was and I are trying to figure out what in
the heck we're doing for each other for Christmas. And
this is a thing every year, and this year it
started off with we're not going to get each other
anything because we had an expensive year with the wedding
and moving and all of those things. So we're like,
we're not going to do gifts for each other. We
decided we're gonna both go in on like a fancy
coffee machine to have at home. That's something we've both

(01:08:13):
been wanting. We're like, that will be our gift to
each other.

Speaker 2 (01:08:16):
Nice, then that will be the gift that gives keeps
on giving.

Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
No, seriously, I want I want like a good coffee machine. Sokay,
we just have a carrea right now.

Speaker 10 (01:08:22):
Well, then it turned into we'll do that and then
we'll get each other stockings, because that's what we've always done,
is just do stockings. Well, then yesterday I caught him
taking notes on some stuff that I was talking about,
and they were like, get like bigger things like clothes,
like like gift items, not stocking items. And so I'm like,
I do not trust him whatsoever to just do a stocking.

(01:08:45):
And then us go in on this coffee maker. And
so then we're talking about that, and I had a
bunch of his mail and like packages on the kitchen
counter and he's like, please don't open anything from you
know now on they might be for you.

Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
And I said, oh, are these for my stocking?

Speaker 10 (01:09:05):
Right that we're supposed to just be doing, and he goes, No,
stockings are for stuff like socks and listine strips, like
yodorant and tooth like the necessities.

Speaker 5 (01:09:16):
No, no it's not, I said, no, No, stockings are
for the best gifts.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Really, no disagree.

Speaker 5 (01:09:24):
See we always got really good maybe not the best gifts,
but good gifts.

Speaker 4 (01:09:28):
Really.

Speaker 5 (01:09:29):
Santa brought great gifts in our stockings.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
Stockings for me in our house were always like cool
fun things, but not like big, big presence.

Speaker 5 (01:09:40):
Not necessities, not tooth brushes.

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
Well, by the way, if you're giving toothbrushes and toothpaste
to your kids, you basically gave them Tuesday of last
week that they should have had already, right, I said, no.

Speaker 10 (01:09:53):
You are not in charge of any of our children's
stockings because they're not getting listine strips on Christmas morning,
Ja were your stockings?

Speaker 2 (01:10:00):
So we would get Santa would come and he would
leave under the tree for us a bunch of big presents,
and then we would have our stockings that were hung
by the chimney with Karen hopes that Saint Nicholas soon
would be there. Okay, and then no, but they were
inside of them would be we might get like some
bombas socks or something like that. You know, like whatever
the socks were we might get. We might get like

(01:10:23):
a fun little like little toys like squirt guns or
things like that. I don't know, but we wouldn't get
like big things in the stockings. What would you get?

Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
Give me that?

Speaker 7 (01:10:30):
These are all different candy, so we.

Speaker 8 (01:10:34):
Traditional But that's like all our stockings were were like treats.

Speaker 7 (01:10:38):
And every year my dad would get us those.

Speaker 8 (01:10:40):
And I don't know if they're popular up in the
Metro Detroit area, but those smashable chocolate oranges, I love them,
and I like, it's not Christmas if I don't get
a smashable chocolate orange.

Speaker 10 (01:10:55):
See, my mom would Santa and my mom would always
put makeup like still gold.

Speaker 9 (01:11:02):
Did you guys do with stockings? I mean when I
was growing up, we never got gifts in our stockcast
like stockings just decoration for real. Really No, I'm straight, yeah,
I mean I thought stocks were like stupid, to be
honest with you, because like you can't you can't fit
anything in a stock that I would actually want as

(01:11:22):
long as the bottom of the tree is bangled on.

Speaker 10 (01:11:24):
To let me tell you something, the past couple of
years that Wes and I have just done stockings, I
have gotten so creative. I've put amazing things, concert tickets
in those stockings. Like I really try to be creative
with getting good gifts in the stocking because that was
the that was the rule.

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
But like when he when he's saying for you know,
it's it's for necessity.

Speaker 12 (01:11:44):
Isn't it?

Speaker 8 (01:11:45):
M M yeah, I know that I've said this before,
but it is really unfortunate you're not my wife because
you are a great gift gifver.

Speaker 7 (01:11:51):
So West should be grateful. Concert tickets in your stocking?
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Concert tickets would be awesome.

Speaker 7 (01:11:57):
Peanut butter cups and chocolate orange.

Speaker 2 (01:11:59):
Sam, what are your thoughts on this one? What are
stockings meant for?

Speaker 22 (01:12:03):
Good morning everyone? I'm so stockings and my family were,
like Mojo said, it's for like essentials through the year.
My mom would put meil polishes I like, or like
pack of deodorant and like, no.

Speaker 2 (01:12:16):
That's what West. Yeah, but all that, all that stuff
you should already have. Stocking should be something like oh
my god, this is what I wanted, like an iTunes
gift cards. Nice, it's nice to McDonald's. Remember the McDonald's book.

(01:12:38):
McDonald's had a book that you could actually pull out.
You know, I get French fries today, I get a
big mac tomorrow. You know, something like that, like like
an entertainment type book.

Speaker 18 (01:12:47):
We'll have a Merry Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Everyone, everybody but Shannon. When she gets her deodorant, puts
it out, Ashley, how you doing morning? By the way,
he should get you. I gotta I got a tampon
story to tell later, but he should get you to Tampa.

Speaker 5 (01:12:59):
I don't have a period anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:13:01):
They have candy knees tampons, by the way they do.
What's up? That's a request?

Speaker 34 (01:13:15):
Good morning, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
Good morning. Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 24 (01:13:22):
We growing up, my mom or in Santa Claus would
put both like fun things and like the necessities. So
like I have two kids now, we do the exact
same thing. Like my son, since he was a little kid.

Speaker 18 (01:13:32):
And could talk, would always say I need a road.
It's for deodorant, like his dad.

Speaker 24 (01:13:36):
So he always gets a new deodorant every every Christmas,
but it's like a fancier one, not just his regular
one that he uses. And then my daughter will always want,
you know, like Shannon was saying, like makeup and nail
polishes and stuff like that, but we also still give
them like socks or things that like they're boring to
open Christmas presents, so we put them. We put the

(01:13:56):
smaller necessities.

Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
In the stockings because they still have a little bit.

Speaker 24 (01:14:00):
Fun, plus snacks and you know those kinds of things.

Speaker 14 (01:14:03):
Like Megan was.

Speaker 24 (01:14:03):
Saying, your favorite candy that you don't get to buy
at the store all the time.

Speaker 8 (01:14:07):
Right, Yeah, So kids, if you're listening, make sure you
ask for socks today and say, oh, I have no socks,
so that you don't.

Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
Get them on it's too late.

Speaker 10 (01:14:16):
My mom would always be like, nope, it's after Thanksgiving
it put it on your Christmas list. There was the
cutoff everything. If I need a shampoo, she'd be like,
put it on your Christmas list.

Speaker 2 (01:14:27):
What's up, Tina? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:14:30):
Hey?

Speaker 19 (01:14:30):
Good morning, guys. Have everybody doing good morning?

Speaker 2 (01:14:33):
We're doing great.

Speaker 14 (01:14:35):
Good.

Speaker 19 (01:14:36):
So, when I was growing up, our stockings were always
full of like super fun like little trinkets, toys, whatever,
but for an entire year. You know how cereal boxes
used to come with toys in them for an entire year,
we all wondered, where are these toys? Why are we
getting all these cereal boxes with no toys? Christmas morning comes,

(01:14:58):
our stockings were stuffed with the cereal ball.

Speaker 5 (01:15:02):
That was the best part of cereals, By the way,
wasn't that the toy in the bottom?

Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Did they stop because some kids sued because he choked
on something or I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:15:09):
They don't do it anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
They don't even do the Crackerjacks stuff anymore. Then there's
no good thing in a Crackerjack box.

Speaker 7 (01:15:15):
The wonder balls. I wonder, wonder, what's no wonder?

Speaker 2 (01:15:18):
You remember that it was at the bottom of what cereal?

Speaker 7 (01:15:21):
You know, not a cereal.

Speaker 8 (01:15:22):
You would buy them and they would come in a
boxing were like buy the checkout, like Carreas or whatever,
and it was chocolate wrapped around a plastic egg and
inside the egg was either more candy or toys.

Speaker 5 (01:15:31):
Oh that's like Kinderreggs.

Speaker 7 (01:15:33):
Yes, it was the American kinderregg Okay bar.

Speaker 2 (01:15:36):
Here's a story that just popped in my head out
of the blue. I remember I got punished when I
was a kid because we used to hang real candy
canes up on our Christmas tree, and the Christmas tree
would turn out on even and my dad because we
never got candy in our house, believe it or not.
Look at me. Do you think I got candy when
I was a kid. You would think I got a lot. No,
I got mashed potatoes and gravy. That's what I got. Well,
when we were kids, we would take the candy canes

(01:15:57):
off of the tree and eat the candy canes because
we were so excited that there was cane hanging on
a tree. And my dad would go, the goddamn candy
can and they'd be like, have a tree with no
candy games on it? And all I remember is my
dad would we would go, Tommy, you're like up in
my room.

Speaker 9 (01:16:13):
I know, real quick on candy canes. Yeah, don't like
a party. You die when they break?

Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Oh yeah, when you don't get God, bitch, you.

Speaker 8 (01:16:23):
Are higgling that you would like stuck on the one
end and make it sharp and then like Pokemon.

Speaker 2 (01:16:27):
It's as.

Speaker 5 (01:16:31):
Possible without breaking it.

Speaker 2 (01:16:33):
This is the best thing you could ever put in
a stocking. Cali, are you there? Hey, good morning, Kellie.
What would you get in your stocking?

Speaker 22 (01:16:41):
So, since I got older, my mom assigned my dad
our stockings and now every year we all get.

Speaker 18 (01:16:48):
A fifth.

Speaker 3 (01:16:52):
Booze.

Speaker 2 (01:16:53):
What what did you want? Is your fifth? What is
your favorite?

Speaker 22 (01:16:58):
Typically he gets us so I usually just got a
bottle of Cheetos, but sometimes he'll change it up for us.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
That's the greatest man. That is a Tito's Christmas right there. Awesome,
Merry Christmas, you too, Thanks Mojoe. In the morning, we
got so much left here on the show. And if
you missed our breaking entering Christmas wish from this morning,
we granted a Christmas wish for the cot family. A
West I'm sorry, a Warren police officer and a Waterford teacher.

(01:17:31):
So he's a Warren police officer, she's a Waterford teacher.
They've got little Jack and Nick. The great police officer
had a horrible accident happened to him where he is
now in a hospital and we are praying that he
is able to get back up on his feet and walk.

Speaker 10 (01:17:50):
It's it is the sweetest wish that I think we've
done so far. Oh just you get ready.

Speaker 2 (01:17:57):
My mom Holly's reaction to it, along with all of
the people that are friends and family that came together
for this one are gonna make it really special for
you to go view, So go check it out and
you can get that when you look at all of
our social media. KP will be working on that today
and posting that thing up. And thank you to everybody
has helped u out with our breaking entering Christmas Wish
program this year. Later this morning, one of our biggest

(01:18:20):
donations ever and they didn't even want the recognition of it,
but we're forcing them to come in studio to get thanked.
We'll have that in about an hour for now, So
an hour from now we'll have that. Right now, we're
gonna give you some tickets to see Tate McCrae eight
four four Mojo Live eight four four, sixty six five
sixty five four eight ninety fifth Collar Wins tickets to

(01:18:41):
one of the biggest concerts of twenty twenty five, Tate
McCray at Little Caesar's Arena. Tickets are gone. The only
way you get in is winning well.

Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
Jordan Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (01:18:54):
All right, Shannon, it's been a great week of Dirty.
I know that we broke a bunch of big story.
We've had some tragic, we've had some fun. This one
we're starting off with is an update on it. Yeah,
a major story that happened.

Speaker 5 (01:19:06):
With Yeah, on the death of One Direction star Liam Payne.

Speaker 10 (01:19:09):
So we're now getting some information that he was calling
hotel employees at the Buenos Aires hotel where he was
staying all of the time, like over and over incessantly
to ask for alcohol and advice on where he could
buy cocaine. Right before he died, Andy offered an escort
five grand to come quote unquote party with him. So
Esteban Grassi is the chief receptionist at this hotel who

(01:19:32):
is now under formal investigation, and he claims that Liam
called down constantly asking for drugs and cocktails, insulted a
member of his staff when they couldn't help him out
or answer his questions. Also documented as part of this
case texts exchanged on WhatsApp between Liam and an escort

(01:19:53):
in which he offered her five thousand dollars to come
and visit him. And then the report also had as
in it a psychiatrist email advising that it was impossible
to continue supporting Liam and his mental health, and it
was written in here that he had warned Liam and

(01:20:16):
his team about the risks associated with mixing antidepressants and alcohol,
something that it sounds like he did kind of frequently.

Speaker 2 (01:20:25):
So that's wild. As a celebrity and somebody that's well known,
he must have either stayed there often or had a connection,
because you would think that you wouldn't be calling and
just asking for all of this stuff. Now.

Speaker 10 (01:20:36):
I don't even know if it was that or if
when he checked in, they obviously knew that he was
a high profile guest, and so they gave him, you know,
somebody's specific number and said, we'll take care of you
anything you need, just to ask.

Speaker 5 (01:20:48):
And this is what he was asking for.

Speaker 2 (01:20:49):
I'm not quite to sorry on this day and age
of paparazzi and people selling stories and stuff like that,
to ask for those things.

Speaker 5 (01:20:56):
I don't think he was in a sound mind.

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:21:00):
The twenty twenty four Billboard Music Awards aired.

Speaker 10 (01:21:02):
Last night on Fox. Did you know that they were happening?
Because yeah, I didn't.

Speaker 5 (01:21:06):
No, I didn't.

Speaker 14 (01:21:06):
I totally did.

Speaker 2 (01:21:07):
I love calendar. Yeah, yeah, I actually it's almost like
our Christmas party. I did not know what was happening.

Speaker 7 (01:21:13):
Somebody asked me on on a date yesterday.

Speaker 10 (01:21:15):
I was like, I can't the Billboard Music Awards You're
on well performances from mcmroney, Jelli Rolls, Chaboozi and Taylor's
who have to breaking another record her own. She is
now the most decorated female artist in Billboard Music Awards history,
bringing home an additional ten trophies last night.

Speaker 20 (01:21:32):
Everything that's happened with the Airs tour and the torture
post apartment, I just have to say thank you. It
means the world to me that you guys have embraced
the things I've made, you know, and the fact that
you've cared so much about my music, and this is
like the nicest early birthday present you could have given me.

Speaker 7 (01:21:50):
So thank you very much.

Speaker 5 (01:21:52):
I love it to her today. By the way, she
turns thirty five.

Speaker 10 (01:21:54):
Top New Artist went to Chapel roone Top Male Artist
Morgan Wallen and our buddy Teddy Swims took him Top
Hot one hundred song and Top Radio Song for Lose Control.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Nice I saw the Beyonce We mentioned this earlier one
Finally for textas told him, did she win Top Country Artist?
Look look and see who that is, because that don't
you think that the country world would be really upset
to hear it? Who gives it down?

Speaker 7 (01:22:18):
Was the pop world now when Taylor Swift got it?

Speaker 2 (01:22:21):
But no, because Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift was country first.
I mean Beyonce had what one song that was a
that was out? How many? How many? How many country
songs had were hits on that thing? I mean that
they played on the radio. Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:22:36):
I mean you don't want to get into that discussion too,
because that's the same type of people, but only got
control over who winning awards. Yeah, so I think it
goes in you.

Speaker 2 (01:22:43):
But if you give Beyonce the Top Country Artist of
twenty twenty four, what did she win.

Speaker 5 (01:22:50):
Top Country Female Artists.

Speaker 2 (01:22:52):
Top Female Country Artists over Laney Wilson. Name one Lane
Wilson song Lane. I don't know. I'm not a country fan,
but I'm your saying, are you saying.

Speaker 5 (01:23:02):
Morgan wall and excuse me? Want it for male and
Beyonce one?

Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
I mean, all I know is my wife's a country
music fan and she loves Landy Wilson right now, that's
that's her.

Speaker 8 (01:23:10):
I love Laney Wilson too. I was just trying to
be silly, goofy whatever, But like people.

Speaker 7 (01:23:14):
Didn't get mad in the pop world when Taylor Swift
did it, people.

Speaker 8 (01:23:17):
Wouldn't be mad if post Malone had gotten it. Like,
I think we can all recognize what the difference here
is and why people have a problem with it.

Speaker 9 (01:23:26):
First big song, he was wearing braids and it was
called white Iverson because he was a white boy like
Alan Iverson. And now this man is in a whole
dinom outfit with cowboy boots, nobody.

Speaker 10 (01:23:39):
About and crossing genres though, I think it's there are
just better female country arts.

Speaker 2 (01:23:44):
Yeah than Beyonce. You know, she had.

Speaker 8 (01:23:49):
Songs that were I disagree, And when you break down
the album and how many country legends she had participant,
uplift her, support her and promote her and say this
is a beautiful project. Which let's be honest, keV, what's
the probability that this is a trilogy album series with
Renaissance Cowboy Carter and we're going to get another one.
I'm guessing about rock music and the story that that

(01:24:10):
is telling for the black community and the influence that
they have had on multiple genres. I'm here for the
moment of Beyonce getting credit where credit is due.

Speaker 2 (01:24:19):
An the way, who won the biggest pedophile, Puffy or Diddy.

Speaker 7 (01:24:23):
Tell me all right, less jay Z.

Speaker 10 (01:24:27):
Lastly, a Florida woman was arrested for making threats against
Blue Cross Blue Shield. She was on the phone with
an agent from Blue Cross. This woman's name is Brianna Boston,
and she quoted United Healthcare CEO suspected suitor Luigi Mangioni
as she argued over one of her own denied medical claims,

(01:24:47):
and I guess she screamed into the phone delay, denied,
to pose.

Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
You people are next.

Speaker 10 (01:24:53):
So remember detectives investigating the assassination of Brian Thompson uncovered
some shell casings bearing those I'm sorry I said delay,
but den I defend and to pose. Not smart on
this woman's part. She was charged with writing a threat
to kill or injure it's and also charged with an
act of terrorism. So she's now facing fifteen years in

(01:25:14):
prison for making that phone call and screaming that into
the phone and a fifty thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
By the way, I saw news reporta just an hour
ago on Good Morning America. I did not know this.
I thought this guy would be in solitary confinement.

Speaker 7 (01:25:23):
They don't.

Speaker 2 (01:25:24):
It's not they don't have him in solitary.

Speaker 10 (01:25:25):
Yeah, he's in his own cell, but he is with
the rest of the inmates. But they don't have him
in solitary. I mean, you'll get killed before, but in
his own cell.

Speaker 7 (01:25:35):
Did she die a prison interview?

Speaker 9 (01:25:37):
No, no, I'm not saying like from somebody, but just
you know, oh, now these things. He turns up and
all of a sudden something happened to him.

Speaker 2 (01:25:44):
Did you did you see the video that I sent
earlier this morning? Somebody needs to tell me if this
thing is real? I know, you get I know it
was a firetruck.

Speaker 3 (01:25:54):
No, this is no.

Speaker 5 (01:26:04):
Is that real?

Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
I don't know, but it's funny.

Speaker 5 (01:26:07):
Oh my god?

Speaker 10 (01:26:08):

Speaker 5 (01:29:03):
So, and you're moving like five minutes away from this studio.

Speaker 2 (01:29:06):
Which is a blessing. I'm excited for that. So you're
getting your you're moving to to Detroit, to Detroit, So
getting back to Detroit where you were born and raised
from living out in the suburbs.

Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
And uh.

Speaker 2 (01:29:21):
I asked you a couple of questions. Number one, can
we crash at your pad sometimes? I mean, it depends on.

Speaker 9 (01:29:29):
It depends on the circumstance, but for sure the door
is always open.

Speaker 2 (01:29:34):
And second question, is it tough for you to do
this move? I know this is a move that comes
with a breakup too. Yeah, I know.

Speaker 9 (01:29:41):
I'm excited, to be honest with you, to move, but
I am aware that that excitement will come and go
at some points. I'm sure maybe those first couple of
nights when the home is a bit quieter, quieter than
what it once was, and those same voices that I've
come accustomed to listening to and love being won't be
there anymore, reverberating off the walls, it'll just be myself.

(01:30:05):
But I'm aware that that's gonna take place, so when
those emotions hit, hopefully it'll be a softer landing. Is uh,
has Cherelle moved out of yet? Or I think she
picking up the keys some and she get her keys
today or some of it. I mean that was always
our Our intention was to live in this place until
our leases, which is next month. And then originally, you know,

(01:30:27):
the idea was to you know, move out together, get
a house. But you know, circumstances in life, you know,
do you do you guys talk like have you told
her about the place or showing her to the place
or anything. Yeah, for sure, she knows, she knows a
little bit about it. Yeah, she said it's nice.

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Did she say it like it's nice? That's nice.

Speaker 9 (01:30:49):
She could pull up any times she wants to man
come through here. Yeah, it's nice.

Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
So I'm I'm so excited to decorates again.

Speaker 9 (01:30:59):
No, he has i'mna pick him Up'm gonna pick him
up from school today and taking Okay, so but he knows.

Speaker 2 (01:31:04):
That there's a new place coming. Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 9 (01:31:06):
He went with me to see another place and he
fell in love with that place and was like, if
you don't move here, and then I hate you basically.

Speaker 27 (01:31:14):
Like that was.

Speaker 5 (01:31:16):
We gotta come here like a pool.

Speaker 9 (01:31:20):
It was the Millinder Center that's attached to the courtyard Maria,
so you have access to their pool into the facilities,
and he was so look at this ball.

Speaker 16 (01:31:29):
I hate you.

Speaker 2 (01:31:30):
Why did you not go crazy?

Speaker 9 (01:31:32):
I hate you for not unting that place I like better. Yeah,
I mean I wanted personalized entry. And basically I don't
want to have to get on the elevator and go up.
I want to I just want to go on elevators
scare me, especially if fire alarms go off and stuff
like that, and.

Speaker 7 (01:31:45):
Get you get on a lower floor.

Speaker 9 (01:31:47):
I get and they say there's something to the stairwheell
because that was my question, like working that quick and
like if a fire breakout, like what's gonna happen and
something in the stairwheel based on a concrete or whatever
keeps the fire.

Speaker 2 (01:31:58):
All right, So what's the um you're moving to your
new place? You got a new place. How soon will
you be asking uh or anybody to help you move?
Because I don't know if you know I'm leaving town. Yeah,
I've got some vacations time here. Listen, treat people how
you want to be treated.

Speaker 9 (01:32:13):
I don't want to be asked, and I'm not gonna
do any ask And I'm not doing it myself because
the last time I did that, I'm thinking I'm gonna
save some money and do all of that. Hell no,
you're saving money the time that you spend you're back afterwards. Like, no, bro,
you save money, but you lose friends.

Speaker 2 (01:32:30):
That's a fact. So I'm gonna hire some folks to
come in. Are you planning on doing the move over
the course, because I'm assuming you have your place till
at the end of the month.

Speaker 9 (01:32:40):
Yeah, so I mean like me and January. Oh, you
don't want to be I want to be all about Christmas.
Oh so you actually want to go fast? I mean
not fast, but like I want to be out about.

Speaker 5 (01:32:50):
Christmas certainly place that's like a big thing.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
How does that work though? Because you is the bed yours?
Did you say so you take the bed You're I've
had that. I've had that conversation with her you did
with me. I'm not gonna leave her and Johnny without
a bed like that.

Speaker 10 (01:33:05):
So when when my ex husband and I got divorced.
It felt to me like we were I was playing
barbies with my sister. When we started dividing everything up.
It was like your turn, you pick, your turn, you pick.
I picked the couch and then he'd be like I
want that Chror like is that what you how you guys?

Speaker 2 (01:33:22):
Did I walked in?

Speaker 9 (01:33:23):
This is like two days ago. Actual I walked in
the bed room. She was laying on the bed, she
being sure. I was like, all right, so look this,
this is all I want? And then I rattled everything
off and she was like okay, yeah, so it was
it wasn't any contention.

Speaker 2 (01:33:34):
Did she ask for anything that you wanted?

Speaker 9 (01:33:37):
When we first started talking about it last year. My
cousin Christina, you know why I paused.

Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
Christina. My cousin Christina, who's become very close with Sharill.
That's why I pause. And you know what I mean? Yeah,
but what does that mean? They will get into it?
They bought they bought it.

Speaker 9 (01:33:52):
They being drawing, and Christina bought this cold ass air
fryer that we never used. So I'm like, I'm taking
the air Like, no, you not. I'm like, ain't my
cousins like I'm you know, so but I don't care
give it air.

Speaker 10 (01:34:06):
I want to tell you anywhere The Drew Berry Moore
Air Friar at Walmart thirty nine dollars on sale right now,
go get it.

Speaker 5 (01:34:13):
They Drew Berry Moore one.

Speaker 2 (01:34:15):
They got an one with the deep friar.

Speaker 8 (01:34:16):
Yeah, if you really want a game, change your good
one that has two different baskets with two different controls.

Speaker 7 (01:34:22):
Bott'll change your wife.

Speaker 2 (01:34:24):
I uh can I ask you with this new place,
are you going to cause I know you are, You're
a dad, right, okay, are you going to decorate it
like a dad? Or are you going to decorate it
like a dude? Are you going to decorate it like
a single guy? Because you are going to be single
and I know you say that you're going to take
your time, You're not going to go out there and stuff,
But are you gonna like are you gonna have like
the beaded like doorway.

Speaker 9 (01:34:47):
Like that bron The thing that I'm most excited about
is when you first walk in, there's like this little
area before the kitchen, and that is going to be
like my meditation space. So I'm excited to have this
peaceful environment that will have virtual really no technology unless
I put like an old record player in there, or
when I need to go and I need to think
and I need to get in my prayer bag, like

(01:35:07):
that will be my spot. I'm very excited about that.

Speaker 37 (01:35:10):
Dude, I just want to bathroom that kids don't come in.
You're getting a meditations face there. Yeah, that's the thing
I'm most excited in box. And we mentioned on the show,
like as a as a guy, you when you live
with your your spouse, your significant other, if you live
with a woman, none times out of teen, you have
no visual representation of your personality in that place.

Speaker 2 (01:35:31):
Everything is our.

Speaker 9 (01:35:32):
So I'm very excited to have the opportunity to fill
this home up with things that represent and make me
feel like me.

Speaker 2 (01:35:39):
Yeah, well that's interesting. I like I always thought that
if I was ever, you know, because I really never
had I had my apartment before I met Chelsea. Then
once I met Chelsea, we got married, whatever. It was
like my first big apartment and I had no decorations
because I had no money, And I often thought like,
if I had money and could decorate, what would I do?
I'm not boxes in the garage? Do you stuff? How many?

(01:36:01):
How many lebron pictures are going to be on the wall.
And how many I do have? I think I like
three or four Lebron might that was just.

Speaker 7 (01:36:09):
That is the biggest turn on THO.

Speaker 8 (01:36:10):
When a guy has a nicely decorated apartment, I'm like,
what do you think when a guy has like all
sports crap all over the place, like memorabilia?

Speaker 11 (01:36:19):
I love it.

Speaker 8 (01:36:19):
If you're going to do it, do it well, like
get in frames exactly, like do it really well.

Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
Actually, and it's not going to look like a shrine.
Like let's be clear.

Speaker 8 (01:36:28):
Like this, I'll show you pictures of a dude's apartment
and you can tell me how hot you think he
is just based on these photos of right, I'll show
to all of you.

Speaker 13 (01:36:38):
So this was like one of them.

Speaker 2 (01:36:40):
That's that's decorating. Oh my god, that it looks like
a magazine.

Speaker 7 (01:36:43):
Yeah, and then I'll tell you, but holy come to
my house.

Speaker 2 (01:36:49):
This guy's place looks like a restoration hardware picture. I
want to first picture.

Speaker 7 (01:36:55):
Do you want to have children? You know, like I'll
have where I'll tell you off here there.

Speaker 2 (01:37:00):
Was it a furnished apartment and he just moved into it.
Oh it is okay, okay, it was He's a gay man,
isn't he? No, No, that's a straight man. Oh my god.
But Kevin, I want to know. I want to know
this because of this is a big you're you know,
it's a big step for you. This is a big one.
You're moving out, you move into a new place, you
know what I mean? Like it's this is a big one.

(01:37:21):
Will you have and take with you any pictures from
you and Charrella or not that?

Speaker 9 (01:37:27):
I mean, we don't have a lot of physical pictures up,
Like we have one physical picture that's in our bathroom, But.

Speaker 2 (01:37:33):
I'm not in that. Why would you put up pictures
of him in But I'm asking because his relationships they're
still friends, right, you guys are still close.

Speaker 7 (01:37:43):
But I understand that.

Speaker 5 (01:37:43):
But he's not going to put up four.

Speaker 2 (01:37:45):
But I'm saying, like, who's taking stuff like that? We
literally have one physical picture of it and youthroom and
if she doesn't take it, the landlord is going to
get it. Do you think she'll take it? I have
no idea.

Speaker 9 (01:37:56):
I mean, I got a thousand pictures of her in
my phone and she does have this thing on Instagram,
So if I do need to go look at her.

Speaker 2 (01:38:02):
You did say this, I thought, I respect you for this.
You said you're not deleting any pictures from the past,
and for those that don't not on that, yeah, that
you can listen back to the ten.

Speaker 7 (01:38:11):
I take it just a frame.

Speaker 2 (01:38:14):
Suzanne. What's up, Susanna?

Speaker 7 (01:38:16):
Oh, Mojoe, you know my name is Susan.

Speaker 2 (01:38:19):
Oh Susan. I don't know it. I just said, Susanne.
There's there's a few Susans that call the show, and
I'm sorry, but will you list put her in there?
Hold on, put her down there as young Susan input.
Zan Ze, Susan, what's up?

Speaker 28 (01:38:37):
Well, I just wanted to call in and tell keV
that coming from a divorce with kids, I think that
you are handling this so well. I think you and
your family are going to have nothing but blessings coming.
I think that your son is going to praise the
both of you for the way that you have handled
this breakup and the way that you handle your co parenting.

(01:38:58):
I just think it's a refreshing to hear it from
a male's perspective, because from a woman's perspective of going
through divorce, there's just a lot of negative things about
men coming out of divorce or out of a relationship,
and you are just doing so well and you guys
are going to be blessed so much.

Speaker 2 (01:39:16):
I appreciate that. Thank you. Do you think Kep should
hang Lebron on the wall? I think that's a bad idea.
But Dwight, what's up, Dwight lips, what's.

Speaker 17 (01:39:27):
Mojo family?

Speaker 2 (01:39:28):
What's morning?

Speaker 18 (01:39:30):
Uh?

Speaker 17 (01:39:30):
I want to say, first time a long time meeting
you guys at the live podcast.

Speaker 7 (01:39:39):
Also, yeah, very nice.

Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
Yes, we'll do another one in the next year.

Speaker 17 (01:39:45):
And me and my wife will be there. Excellent, but
took care to your respect. You mentioned having a little
space in your new apartment. By the way, congratulations on that.
You mentioned having a little space in your new apartment
where there wouldn't be any technology, where you could go
to pray and think and things like that. Some some,
at least quite a few people that I know, call.

Speaker 14 (01:40:08):
That a war room.

Speaker 2 (01:40:09):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 17 (01:40:11):
So there's a there's a small like black movie.

Speaker 2 (01:40:16):
Yeah, talking about that.

Speaker 17 (01:40:18):
Yeah, but they call it a war room. It's kind
of where you go you can feel pressures of the day,
pressures of life, and you can kind of go and
kind of be stressed and plan your next move and
pray to your Lord and all of that things and
kind of be able to uh, kind of be able
to regain your strengths.

Speaker 2 (01:40:41):
That's that's cool.

Speaker 17 (01:40:42):
So again I'm happy.

Speaker 2 (01:40:44):
So you bro, Dwight. Can you have the picture of
Lebron up in the war room. You might love Lebron
more than I do. You got his name in your mouth.
Are you going to give an extra key to somebody,
because you know you always got to give a key
to somebody just you get locked out, Like, well, if
you want, I'll take it, hell Na, how about mom?

(01:41:07):
Probably my mom will probably get it. You know the
first thing I would do if you gave me an
extra key, don't you You would be in there. I'd
give it to your dad. I would be in there
by the way. I think your dad and I hang
out before Christmas. Hey have fun. We're yokes on Instagram Live.
We're very proud of you, Kevin, appreciate it, and we're

(01:41:29):
exciting and we and we love to Charrelle. We love Charrelle.
I love Charille. And just know this that I know
it's saying easy. I know that you do give yourself
like you're you're built up and stuff. But I know
this is tough for you. I can tell that it's
been tough again. We broke up in June. This is
like new to everybody else. But I've had my tougher moments,

(01:41:51):
and like I said, every day won't be sunshine. But
I can confidently say that I'm at a point where
I can consistently be have.

Speaker 9 (01:42:00):
Higher highs than lower lows. That's great, I can I
can choose my smiles versus Mark CROs.

Speaker 2 (01:42:06):
I love it.

Speaker 22 (01:42:06):
Well.

Speaker 2 (01:42:07):
I'm choosing my smile right now because I'm happy for you,
and I got a place that I can stay down here.
Then I can jingle ball. I don't have to go
all the way back out to the suburbs afterwards.

Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
Detroit keeper than China, three grade stations, one stupid show.

Speaker 2 (01:42:27):
This is Mojo in the Morning Live. Oh my god,
it's Mojo in the Morning. I gotta tell you this
is pretty crazy to know this. You know that this
weekend is number three on the list of the busiest
weekends for the cops, writing d UIs really this this

(01:42:49):
weekend that we're about to face? Which is the weekend
what before two weekends before Christmas? I think it is?
Is the number one for the season for the month
Dui weekend it's number three on the list. Number one
is New Year's that weekend and number two is Saint

(01:43:10):
Patrick's Day weekend for the biggest DUI weekends. And it's
because everybody's going to holiday parties at this time of
the year. You know what's funny though, people for some
reason still don't get it. But this is the problem, though, Shan,
is that people think, and I see it so many
times and they're good friends of mine, that they'll have

(01:43:31):
a couple of drinks and they think two drinks don't
give that doesn't give them a blood alcohol level that's
over the legal limit. And here's the problem. The problem
is you think you're fine, but the legal limit they
made so low because they want to make sure you
absolutely are fine. So it's not that you can't control yourself.

Speaker 10 (01:43:51):
Whatever you're done.

Speaker 2 (01:43:54):
So has anybody ever gotten to d u i? Kevi?
You got one?

Speaker 14 (01:43:59):
Right?

Speaker 2 (01:43:59):
No, No, I'm getting two drunk driving accidents and luckily
did not get a DUI. That's right.

Speaker 10 (01:44:05):
You talked about it on our marmot come from a
holiday party? Has anybody every holiday party that.

Speaker 2 (01:44:12):
Would be how embarrassing would it be Hey, where's Bob
at Bob's not here today? They may know where Bob's
at Bob's like, you know, hanging out of Wayne County
out age four to four Mojo Live eight four four
six six five sixty five four eight is our telephone number.
I want to ask a question of a friend, our
friends from a ticket fixed pro. Nick is actually on
the phone with us round Nick. You there, buddy, Nick,

(01:44:36):
how are you doing?

Speaker 29 (01:44:37):
Buddy?

Speaker 2 (01:44:37):
What's happening?

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
Brother?

Speaker 2 (01:44:39):
Hey, I gotta I gotta ask you a question. Thank
God and God forbid. I've never gotten a DUI never
even gotten pulled over by a cop when I've had
a drink in my system, So thank God, knock on
would I'm going to make sure that that doesn't happen.
I know there have been times where I've gotten off
of a golf course a few hours after golfing, and
I've had drinks on the golf course. I probably shouldn't

(01:45:00):
have gotten behind the wheel. But I want to ask
you a question. When you get pulled over by you know,
by the police, that incident takes place, the moment that
it takes place those cops, is it that the sense
that you are drunk or they smell that you possibly
have had alcohol or both.

Speaker 15 (01:45:20):
You know, a lot of times at that time of
the day, like you just said, people are coming home
from holiday parties. They know they're out there looking for
that person who's just doing one thing wrong. They might
pull you over for speeding. They might pull you over
for going over the line they say, or swerving or
whatever you're doing texting and driving right, and then they're
just going to ask you have you had anything to drink?

(01:45:42):
Ninety nine percent of everybody just says, yeah, I only
had a couple of drinks, had a drink a couple
hours ago. As soon as they do that, they just
admit it to drinking and.

Speaker 3 (01:45:49):
Driving without even realizing they admitted to it.

Speaker 2 (01:45:52):
Wow, So even just being done so Nick, If so,
if you are somebody that gets pulled over and you
may have had a drink earlier in the evening, what
you should not say something like that. You shouldn't say, yeah,
I drank.

Speaker 15 (01:46:05):
Of course, once you do your admitting, you're admitting that
you drink, and you're giving them probable cause to pull
you out of the vehicle, do sobriety tests on you.
So no, you shouldn't admit to it.

Speaker 8 (01:46:17):
Once you say you haven't, and then they do the
tests and they do the blood alcohol whatever, then can
you get your replying to a cop?

Speaker 14 (01:46:27):
No?

Speaker 15 (01:46:28):
No, I mean you know, listen, here's the thing. You
have the right to not incriminate yourself, so you know,
you don't have to You have the right to be
silent that whole time. You could just crack your window
and just hand them your ID, but that's going to.

Speaker 3 (01:46:40):
Make things even more awkward.

Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
You know when people do that.

Speaker 15 (01:46:43):
But you technically could just crack the window and hand
them your ID and be like, here, write me my
speeding ticket. But the common person.

Speaker 3 (01:46:50):
Doesn't know to go do all that, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 2 (01:46:52):
Hey, Nick, So when you do get asked to do
the test, like if they say to you, hey, come
on to the car or step out of the car.
Are they're asking you to do like a roadside sobriety test?
What should you do in a case like.

Speaker 15 (01:47:06):
That, Well, you could take the test or you could
refuse the test. If you refuse the test on the
on the scene, it's just a civil infraction.

Speaker 3 (01:47:15):
But if they do take you to jail.

Speaker 15 (01:47:17):
And you end up refusing that second test that they do.
Then at that point they can suspend your license for
up to a year. Wow, you got to be careful
with doing what you know with doing that. But if
you're on the scene, if you're if you're if you're
on the site, the PBT test that they do on
the road, that's the civil infraction if you refuse it.
It's the second test that they do after they have

(01:47:40):
the probable cousin they actually arrest you. If you were
to refuse that second test, it's considered a refusal. You
can lose your license for a year. We appeal those
all the time for people though, and we have fourteen
days to appeal it. So if someone did do that,
they have fourteen days or they're going to lose their
license for a year.

Speaker 3 (01:47:57):
With no chances.

Speaker 5 (01:47:58):
A lot of people know that.

Speaker 15 (01:48:00):
No, there's so much that people don't know. That's the thing.
That's why if you try to go in on this
on your own, there's a lot of times people say,
you know, let me just get a quarter point of
the attorney. Those guys have seventy five cases that they're
working on that they don't they're getting paid one hundred
dollars to do and they don't really give their clients
the time that's needed to really explain this stuff to them.
I mean, it's the serious stuff.

Speaker 2 (01:48:20):
Nick from ticketfixpro dot com is on with us right now. Nick,
I want to ask you one last question, because I
don't even know what this is. If you get taken
back to the police station, they do a test on
you and the test comes back that you are, you know,
over the legal limit. Are you in jail right away?
You're instantly and you have to stay there for a
certain amount of time.

Speaker 15 (01:48:41):
So what most police departments do, they do have to
leave you there for to sober up. So there is
a time that they'll have to leave you there at
least twelve hours to try to sober up so that
they don't want to release you and then you hurt
yourself again or something happens. So you're in their responsibility
at that point, so they will let you do that,
and a lot of them will just release you and say,
you know, you'll receive a court date in the mail,

(01:49:03):
or if it's like a weekday, they might take you
to court the next dain, have you arraigned in front
of a magistrate and set a bond and all that stuff.

Speaker 17 (01:49:11):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:49:11):
All right, ticketfixpro dot Com on with us right now.
This is the third biggest weekend of the year to
New Year's in Saint Patrick's Day, this weekend right here
for getting DUIs Rachel. What's up? It's Mojo in the morning.
What's going on?

Speaker 31 (01:49:24):
Hey Mojo?

Speaker 2 (01:49:25):
Hey, what's going on? Rachel? We were talking about how
people think that they're fine after one drink or maybe
two drinks. Tell everybody what you got a dui after drinking?

Speaker 31 (01:49:34):
So I had one drink, one shot, I ate in everything,
thought I was good, actually got sick, got pulled over
and still blew a point one. Come to find out
I had had gash bypass.

Speaker 2 (01:49:47):
Wow.

Speaker 31 (01:49:47):
And my body was not processing the alcohol.

Speaker 2 (01:49:50):
Interesting. Wow, which potentially obviously leads to the dui. And
that's where, of course you're having to hire an attorney
like ticketfixpro dot com to to help you get out
of this whole thing. Yeah.

Speaker 31 (01:50:01):
And even when I sat in the salon, I had
to wait even in the morning. After waiting all those hours,
I was still over the legal limit off one.

Speaker 23 (01:50:08):
Drink in one shot.

Speaker 2 (01:50:10):
Wow. That is unreal. And you don't even think about that.
And a lot of times people are taking those ozempic
shots or you know, any kind of those pep tide
thingies or whatever, and you could be over the legal
limit because of your system and what the SHOT's doing
to you. Victoria, what did you get a dui? Or
driving under the influence?

Speaker 29 (01:50:28):
For good morning everyone?

Speaker 22 (01:50:30):
A handful of years ago.

Speaker 36 (01:50:33):
This was back in twenty seventeen. I had been smoking
a little bit and went for a drive. I was
with my ex boyfriend, just taking a little smoke cruise.
You know, I had a a car behind me for
a minute, didn't think anything of it, driving was totally fine.
Pulled me over because I had a license plate lighthout,

(01:50:57):
smelled weed, macked me with the dui.

Speaker 18 (01:51:02):
It's all over.

Speaker 36 (01:51:02):
Everything's great now, life is good, didn't it?

Speaker 15 (01:51:05):
Talk to me?

Speaker 2 (01:51:05):
Nick? Are you seeing more more and more people getting
under the influence because of of weed?

Speaker 14 (01:51:12):
Definitely.

Speaker 15 (01:51:13):
I mean that's a big thing right now for state police.
You know, they're trying to stop people. They call it,
they call it button high driving or whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:51:22):
You know, Yeah, and it does. It's happening more often,
and you're seeing it more on the highways. I guess, huh,
where people are just driving.

Speaker 3 (01:51:29):
Drug Yeah, drug drug driving.

Speaker 15 (01:51:31):
That's what it called d R U G g E
D drug driving, drunk driving. It's the same thing if
they catch you smoking a joint and driving, they can
say you were impaired. But here's the thing with Michigan.
You know we have medical marijuana patients. People are allowed
to have it in their system. Uh so that gets
a little bit interesting right there. I DD a case
where they pull the kid over for having The kid

(01:51:53):
had literally had a seizure and he's got stopped in
the middle of the roads to destroyed police. They pull
him out of the car while he's having a sea
do they check his pocket, like, oh, he has a eight?
He's high because he had the eight. So we actually
took the trial and we won the case because the prosecutor,
we say, you know what, We're going to take the trial.

Speaker 2 (01:52:12):
This kid wasn't high.

Speaker 15 (01:52:13):
He had a theater. So they tried to blame it
on that because but what if you have a medical
marijuana curR in Michigan, you can't have it in your
system and they have to prove that you were substantially impaired. Wow,
you know that's why you have to call it Tike fixed.

Speaker 2 (01:52:26):
Bro ticket fixpro dot com. Nick, I appreciate you going
on with us. Man, have a very merry Christmas. And
I mean, I hate to say this, I hope you
don't have a very busy weekend. I hope people are
smart enough to not be.

Speaker 15 (01:52:38):
We want people to stay safe. Of course that's not
you know, we don't want people. You know, we have
to deal fortunately with people down downfall, but we're here
to help them and pick them back up, like this
lady that just said she'd moved on with her life.
By the way, you could expunge it DUI now after
five years. So if you do have it on your
record and you want it off, we could sponge it off.
If you haven't had any other du license.

Speaker 2 (01:52:59):
Then so yeah, some of times do you guys will
keep you from getting any kind of a job or
possibly any kind of a better license than the license
that you have.

Speaker 4 (01:53:08):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:53:08):
Ticketfitspro dot com.

Speaker 3 (01:53:10):
I want.

Speaker 7 (01:53:12):
Shannon's Dirty coming up in less than thirty give it
some MIMO show in the morning.

Speaker 2 (01:53:17):
It's mo Joe in the Morning show.

Speaker 3 (01:53:19):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:53:20):
Megan went on a I used to not a date,
but I'm gonna call it a date just the fun
of it. But it was it was with EJ. She
went out, she went out to lunch with EJ. Yeah,
but didn't eat.

Speaker 7 (01:53:30):
Yeah, Okay, so I need to know if this is
weird or not.

Speaker 8 (01:53:32):
I had plans with DJ to go and get food,
but I really wasn't feeling great. How girls have stomach
problems and I was having some stomach problems, and I
knew if I ate, I was gonna get really sick.
And I needed to drive back to toledout like immediately,
and I just I couldn't pull over. I couldn't do
any of the things to relieve oneselves of this uncomfortable situation.

(01:53:56):
So I went and I just sat there and I
didn't eat. And I think I made him very uncomfortable.

Speaker 5 (01:54:01):
But make me uncomfortable.

Speaker 7 (01:54:02):
But I thought it would be worse to cancel the plans,
Like what's worse? Did there and not eat or cancel
the hangout?

Speaker 2 (01:54:10):
What do you do if you're on a date and
the person doesn't eat at all? Because that I've heard
that more and more, like with people taking shot those
shots and stuff where people will go on dates and
they're like, I'm not hungry and I don't want to
eat this. No, no, you don't have to defend your
story the story what I'm saying. But people go out. Uh,
people go out all the time, and they go on dates,

(01:54:31):
and there's a lot of times their stomach gets bothered
by certain things and they're like, you know, I'm just
gonna like, uh, I'll just have some chips. Because if
I'm on a date and I'm eating and she ain't eating,
I ain't happy.

Speaker 9 (01:54:42):
Like, let me tell you this, though, I went out
to eat with a frame. I went to sweet Water
like yesterday. All right, this is my plate bones, that's
my basket of fries, empty meat on those bones.

Speaker 5 (01:54:55):
Okay, this would be disappointed.

Speaker 2 (01:54:57):
Oh she didn't eat it?

Speaker 16 (01:55:00):
Broke.

Speaker 2 (01:55:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (01:55:01):
Sometimes I order food because I know that I'm gonna
want it either tomorrow or later.

Speaker 7 (01:55:04):
But I'm not super hungry right now.

Speaker 10 (01:55:06):
See, I'm not super self conscious if I'm with somebody
and they're not like eating anything.

Speaker 8 (01:55:12):
But do you want me to be like if I'm
gonna get violently within an hour?

Speaker 2 (01:55:16):
No, I would almost rather say let's go get coffee
or something, you know. But let me say this. I
went out with EJ. We went for ribs the other day.
It was me and Chelsea and EJ. We went off
for ribs. He ordered a second plate of ribs. We
had good him. Seriously, they probably got a good ribs
they had. They had the best ribs here. He loves

(01:55:37):
Phoenician ribs, so he was going crazy for it. And
they even even asked for the seasoning to go home
with him, so you can take them home with him
because he loved it so much. Sounds like, but so
what did EJ say to you? And we sit there
and look weird?

Speaker 8 (01:55:50):
He was just like making fun of me the whole time,
which I think is actually really fair because it is uncomfortable.
But I do think that's the better option of the
two options. Let's EJ lives in LA He's not here
very often. I love him dearly and we don't to
spend time together. If you lived here, I could be like, hey,
I'm really not feeling well. Can we rain check this later?
But when you're leaving in twenty.

Speaker 7 (01:56:10):
Four hours, forty eight hours, whatever, it is like, what
am I gonna do?

Speaker 3 (01:56:15):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:56:15):
Eight four four mojo live? Eight four four six six
five six five four eight? What do you do if
you go on a date and you have and we're
going to call this a date because it's not. But
it's EJ. EJ's a brother to all of us. I
think I went on a date with him, and I
actually got nothing at the end of the day other
than the bill. But we have stomach issues. And do
you tell him? Would you rather tell him, hey, I

(01:56:36):
got the bubble guts or do you tell him that
you're I don't know, you're allergic to everything on their menu. No,
you keep your real bro. You just tell them you
don't understand if you say that. He probably laughing. But
what if it were a date situation, what if it
were the guy with a nice partly?

Speaker 10 (01:56:51):
Lie, Lie, you do not tell somebody you've never gone
on on a date with it. You're booping all day, Sean,
how you doing?

Speaker 2 (01:56:58):
It's mojo in the morning.

Speaker 15 (01:57:00):
I'm good, all right.

Speaker 9 (01:57:05):
On the phone.

Speaker 14 (01:57:07):
I want to say she was perfect, was going in
my eating.

Speaker 17 (01:57:11):
I've done it myself with Peovil that we've gone.

Speaker 34 (01:57:14):
They didn't feel good.

Speaker 15 (01:57:15):
It's cool for a perfect opportunity to go out again.

Speaker 2 (01:57:20):
Okay, Well I love you all right. So so by
saying hey, I'm not going to eat, then you get
that second date, it may come out huh.

Speaker 17 (01:57:28):
Well that will be true.

Speaker 35 (01:57:29):
Yes, but I'm still saying, if she's okay with eating time,
can I always do?

Speaker 2 (01:57:34):
I always used to say whenever when when I was dating.
It bothered me when a girl would order just a salad.
Oh I love salad, because I would order the salad
and the soup and the meal, like you know what
I mean?

Speaker 7 (01:57:46):
Okay, But then this is my question. Say it's a
first date and I like, okay, this is tm I,
but I have like ibs.

Speaker 8 (01:57:53):
So if I get hit with like what I consider
a flare up last minute, would you rather me cancel
or just.

Speaker 7 (01:58:00):
Go and not eat? Because for me, I think it
looks worse if I cancel last minute.

Speaker 10 (01:58:04):
Yeah, but then you're gonna be up in the bathroom
the whole time. I would At that point I would
have to cancel.

Speaker 7 (01:58:08):
But if I don't eat, I won't go to the bathroom.
What what if I that's why I wasn't eating.

Speaker 2 (01:58:12):
What if I showed up on the date and brought
you some dude wipes and said here's your gift. Would
you think it was funny?

Speaker 7 (01:58:18):
I would be mortified?

Speaker 16 (01:58:20):
Would you?

Speaker 25 (01:58:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:58:22):
On a first date?

Speaker 8 (01:58:23):
Yeah, if we're dating for a long time, I would
just throw them at you and be like, you're an idiot.

Speaker 2 (01:58:27):
Honestly, if a girl said to me, hey, I've got ibs,
I think I would actually think that this girl is
in love with me, because she wouldn't be that comfortable
to say it.

Speaker 7 (01:58:36):
Yeah, you know what I mean problems.

Speaker 10 (01:58:39):
I am not telling somebody that I haven't even gone
out with one time that I have a stomach issue.

Speaker 8 (01:58:44):
No way, so you'll cancel last minute, and then they
think you're not interested.

Speaker 5 (01:58:49):
I would make up something else.

Speaker 2 (01:58:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:58:51):
It wouldn't be that though. Any excuse within like four hours.

Speaker 2 (01:58:54):
Of a day, I think lying, yeah, yeah, they got
somebody else in their life.

Speaker 12 (01:58:59):
I've always wanted to know what a woman talk about
in the bathroom. Let's ask sweet Shannon Murphy and Megan Meg.

Speaker 7 (01:59:05):
We'll pee all over ourselves. I think people who over
are literally disgusting. I know what that spilet paper are disgusting.
It wouldn't be disgusting.

Speaker 8 (01:59:14):
If we all sat down, it literally would not be disgusting.

Speaker 3 (01:59:18):
A right.

Speaker 2 (01:59:21):
Good information, Thank you, ladies. This is Mojo in the Morning.
Today's forecast is holy crap. I can't feel my face.
This is Mojo in the morning, I really can't the.

Speaker 20 (01:59:39):
Baby, it's cold outside, not to go, But baby, it's
cold outside.

Speaker 2 (01:59:47):
I was trying to decide do I shovel the driveway
or do I wait for it to turn fifty on Monday?
Always let it melt? Let me? Should I just tell
the Amazon drivers that slip and slide all over the
place or neighbors that come over to say, Hi, you
guys are out of luck. My dog wouldn't even go
outside yesterday, that's how cold it was. Do did he
wanted up winded me to carry him to go poop.

(02:00:09):
I'm like, nobody carries me to go poop. It's Mojoe
In the morning, we have a Breakdanner in Christmas Wish
coming up here in a second. And we have a
very special guest that is in studio with us this morning.
And it's funny because I would hear your commercials on
the air, and when I hear the commercials on the
air for Swift Home Loans, it made me say to myself,

(02:00:30):
oh my god, there's a client that I hadn't heard
over the years on the radio, and I'm glad that
they're on with us. But because I had so many
friends over the years that have worked with you guys,
and you guys have been a valued in a mortgage
company in the area, mortgage people in the area, and
you know your stuff, and you're not Andy, right, So

(02:00:51):
Andy's not here with us right now. Andy's at home.
Shoul we wish him well and tell him you feel.

Speaker 30 (02:00:55):
That us feeling a little sick. Mike cartin in I'm
one of the other partners.

Speaker 2 (02:00:59):
Mike, where's the car? Is our third partner? Too nice
to see you? Wait a second, so what did you
guys have your company holiday party last night? And you're
not telling us the truth? Where do you Where do
you guys have like a fun holiday party?

Speaker 30 (02:01:11):
We're going the five iron?

Speaker 2 (02:01:12):
Is that what it's called?

Speaker 7 (02:01:15):
Get jealous?

Speaker 5 (02:01:18):
That's a holiday party?

Speaker 2 (02:01:19):
Now, that's a holiday party.

Speaker 3 (02:01:23):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (02:01:23):
I'll tell you what well. I don't DJ, but I'll
hit a couple of balls with you. The only reason
I don't DJ is I used to be a wedding DJ.
I did one and done fired for playing bon Jovi.
You give Love a bad name the first song after
their first dance, and the father of the bride looked
at me and goes, you give love a bad name?
It's going to be this, and he fired me. So
that was it. So I decided the radio thing was

(02:01:45):
going to be my thing. But Mike, you guys are great.
You're great in the community, you care about the community,
and you guys, without even us coming to ask, you
heard our breaking entering Christmas Wish program and we're so
touched by it that you decided that you wanted to
make a donation. And I know that this is the
wildest part. Usually people make donations for reasons. Sometimes the
reason is some do it for publicity. Many do it

(02:02:08):
because they hear one that really touched their hearts. These
guys with the amount of money that they did, they
really touched their hearts because they did not want the publicity.
They did not want this whole thing. How much money
are you guys donating? Do you want to say?

Speaker 3 (02:02:22):
No?

Speaker 15 (02:02:22):
Do I have to do?

Speaker 2 (02:02:23):
You want to know me?

Speaker 27 (02:02:24):
Say?

Speaker 11 (02:02:24):
You know?

Speaker 2 (02:02:25):
I don't? Could I say? Can I say this? It's
the largest donation that we've received this year for breaking
down in Christmas with what an incredible You don't want to.

Speaker 30 (02:02:34):
Say it's not about the money. I actually didn't. Just
to give a quick backstory, I didn't want to do this,
and Andy said, Mike, sit back, listen to a couple
of these videos because I didn't know how while you
guys did this whole program, and when you would sit
back and listen, it really would touch your heart where
it's like you think you have it bad, take a

(02:02:55):
step back. Other people have, you know, bigger issues than
things that they're ruggling to accomplish, and it's like, let's donate,
let's help out, and but you don't understand.

Speaker 2 (02:03:05):
And I'm not going to say how much because I'm
gonna keep it person between between us. These guys are
the reason why we're going to get to more wishes
than ever. When I say more wishes than ever, I'm
talking about hundreds of people. So we got to I mean,
we're talking these guys care and Mike. Andy's right, We
listen to him more often, and he's obviously the brains

(02:03:28):
of the operation, right, you're the compassion of the operation.
We get through the loans swiftly, but the impact swift
home loans. I want to first off, let me tell
me a little bit about you, because I've never met
you before.

Speaker 30 (02:03:42):
You've got family, uh yeah, wife, panel son, our team,
daughter live and a third one coming. I don't know
the name yet. We're going back and forth. Are you
three and a half year olds?

Speaker 2 (02:03:54):
My son?

Speaker 30 (02:03:56):
My daughter's turning one on the twenty second. Yeah, so
you're busy, busy.

Speaker 2 (02:04:01):
Yeah, so your guy just starting a family basically because
you got the new you know, I'm going to tell you,
as a dad that's got kids that are raised, every year,
you become softer and softer because you see it through
the eyes of your kids. Obviously, Christmas is fun with you,
right the kids. Matter of fact, I bet your three
year old still loves just the paper or the and
playing with the boxes and stuff like that. When you

(02:04:23):
see your kid's joy on that Christmas Day is the
greatest feeling in the world. And then when you hear
that there are some families that will not be able
to do that, it breaks your heart knowing that you
do Like, I think this all the time. Why am
I blessed to be able to do this, but this
other person that has done everything right doesn't have the

(02:04:44):
ability to do the same thing that I do. It
doesn't make any sense.

Speaker 30 (02:04:47):
Can't agree more.

Speaker 2 (02:04:48):
And you guys are going to make it possible for
many of those people to have the same Christmas that
your children are going to have. Yes, it's a pretty
special moment, man. I appreciate you so much for what
you're doing our pleasure swift home loans. Yeah, a question
for you. Yeah, I hear all this stuff all the time.
I haven't bought a house in a while. I want
to sell my house. I said to my wife last night.
I going to sell my house because where are we
going to move? There's nothing done for sale out there?

(02:05:10):
Are things getting better? Is the marketing can get a
little bit. Are we going to see maybe the interest
rates coming down a little bit and helping out us ound?

Speaker 30 (02:05:19):
We thought that a couple of months ago, and then
it did the opposite, And right now everyone's going to
wait and see a lot of people believe they're going
to go up a little more before they come down.

Speaker 2 (02:05:29):
And no one knows. Help me with this one, because
I'd literally been thinking about this. What if you have
What if you went into like a fifteen year or
something like that, and your fifteen years is coming up
soon and you're sweating bullets, you know you got caught.
You can you guys help those people out.

Speaker 30 (02:05:45):
Absolutely, no matter the situation. If it makes financial financial
sense will help out. If it doesn't, we'll give you
a game plan on Hey, wait two months, wait six months,
wait for this so it never hurts.

Speaker 2 (02:05:57):
Give us a call or you know, we'll figure it out.

Speaker 5 (02:06:00):
I love that honesty, that is honestly that.

Speaker 2 (02:06:04):
Can I say something about these guys. Talking to a
few friends in the in in the business that are
that are in the business, they have nothing but great
things to say about these guys swift home loans, which
is huge because you know, I be quite honest with you.
Hear the the other you know, huge names. We're right
down the street from one of the biggest I live
in West Bloomfield, right by the you know the you
the u w M people and stuff like that. You

(02:06:26):
guys know what you're doing. Man, You guys are doing good,
doing it right. Appreciate you.

Speaker 14 (02:06:31):
Man.

Speaker 2 (02:06:32):
God, I don't want to say how much money he don't.

Speaker 5 (02:06:34):
Me and get my reaction?

Speaker 2 (02:06:39):
Yeah, tell me, tell me, oh, thank you? And you
know what, I even love him more that he's humble
and doesn't want doesn't want to say you don't you
don't put a twenty in the Salvation army, kettle bell
and go. I just put a twenty in the in
the bo you know the thing. You know, it's like
you you put your money in there like everybody else,

(02:06:59):
put the money in there and just keep walking away.
I love you, buddy, Thank you man. Become a friend
of mine for sure. Make friends.

Speaker 3 (02:07:09):
Holiday.

Speaker 2 (02:07:11):
You don't understand first time. I need these guys. My
wife won't sell our house because she's so worried about
where we would go. But I also need it because
we got you know, it's like I worry about where
this our mortgage industry or or home. You know, people need.
We need people buying homes and not just renting.

Speaker 3 (02:07:28):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:07:29):
All right, it's Mojoe in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (02:07:31):
Show, The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (02:07:34):
We hang out, hang out with us and do the
dirty on the thirty. You gotta give us half falls
so you can hear. Yeah, yeah yeah, Grab some headphones.

Speaker 27 (02:07:41):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:07:41):
If you want to win tickets to see Post Malone

Post to nine five five zero zero standard text and
dator rates to apply. They want to go to that,
that's post post the nine five five zero zero.

Speaker 3 (02:07:56):
Jen.

Speaker 2 (02:07:56):
Do you own cowboy boots?

Speaker 27 (02:07:58):
I do?

Speaker 10 (02:07:58):
I want a few pairs of cowboy boots because of
the time we spent in Colorado.

Speaker 5 (02:08:01):
I'm always wearing cowboy boots.

Speaker 2 (02:08:03):
Okay, all right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour?
Is dirty? On the thirty.

Speaker 10 (02:08:06):
So Morgan Wallen pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts in
a Nashville courtroom yesterday.

Speaker 5 (02:08:10):
And this aw stems from that char thrown incident.

Speaker 10 (02:08:13):
Threw a chair off the rooftop of his Buddy Air
church his bar in Nashville back in April.

Speaker 27 (02:08:19):
Do you understand what it takes on the law of
the found guilty of what your charged with? A yes, Matt,
I understand that you are entering and plead guilty to
two counts of arkles in dagement. You will receive a
sentence of eleven months and twenty nine days, all suspended.

Speaker 10 (02:08:34):
Except seven days reckless endangerment because it almost like the
chair fell right next to three Nashville police officers.

Speaker 7 (02:08:40):
So no good.

Speaker 10 (02:08:41):
Alexed United Healthcare CEO murderer LUIGIMANGIONI some new details emerging
about him. I mean, we're getting new information about him
every day, but this is interesting to me. Apparently he
was estranged from his family for more than a year
like missing.

Speaker 5 (02:08:55):
They had no idea where he was.

Speaker 10 (02:08:58):
They had hired a private invest to Gator to try
and find him, but completely went off the grid. And
a friend from his all boys private high school says
he shut off contact with his family last year, so
naturally they grew worried about his whereabouts. And this all
goes back to he was in some sort of accident
and I don't know that it's ever been confirmed. I

(02:09:20):
keep hearing it was a surfing accident during the time
that he spent in Hawaii that led to an issue
with painkillers, and then this whole family issue where he
just went dark on them. So you know this is
he comes from a big Baltimore family with a name.
Everybody knew this family, particularly his grandfather. They like to

(02:09:42):
keep things quiet, but now all of these details are
coming out. The legendary Dick Van Dyke, who was celebrating
his ninety ninth birthday today, by the way, shares a
birthday with Taylor.

Speaker 5 (02:09:51):
Shifts, but he says his neighbor saved his life.

Speaker 10 (02:09:54):
When he was struggling to evacuate his home this week
during those wildfires that are happening in Malibu right now.

Speaker 2 (02:10:00):
I was trying to crawl to the car. I had
exhausted myself.

Speaker 16 (02:10:04):
I couldn't get up, and three neighbors came and carried
me out and came back and put up a little
fire in the guest house.

Speaker 10 (02:10:12):
Saved updated his fans on Facebook and said he and
his wife and their pets have all made it out safely.

Speaker 2 (02:10:21):
We can't lose what was his name in Bert Berts
And if you're wondering, his wife is fifty three. Oh
good for him? Yeah, good for him. He's ninety nine
years old and a fifty three year old. That means
that means how old was he when she was born.

(02:10:46):
He was like, yeah, yeah, weird, wow.

Speaker 5 (02:10:50):
Forty Mariah here, I'm younger than that.

Speaker 2 (02:10:53):
That's why donate yourself. That botox is working. They're fantastic.

Speaker 7 (02:11:00):
Thank you, Lindsay.

Speaker 10 (02:11:01):
I muse medspot Riya Carrie is going to perform her
iconic song All I Want for Christmas is You before
the Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Stealers face off on
December twenty fifth, Christmas Day.

Speaker 7 (02:11:14):
This Christmas, we all get our wish, get your pop forard.

Speaker 2 (02:11:22):
The NFL is.

Speaker 7 (02:11:23):
Live on Netflix and I'll be there too.

Speaker 10 (02:11:26):
Yeah, don't forget Beyonce is doing the halftime show for
the Afternoon.

Speaker 2 (02:11:30):
Dame that day ran Carrie, I Wish you Love.

Speaker 5 (02:11:34):
And you can keep playing this song.

Speaker 10 (02:11:35):
Gen z ers are loving shopping in stores about as
much as their baby.

Speaker 5 (02:11:41):
Boomer grandparents do.

Speaker 10 (02:11:43):
That is according to a new survey by a big
mall industry industry group. But up and coming gen Z
spenders want social connection, instant gratification, and moments to post
on social media inside of cutitle like local shops and
stores in the mall, and owners and retailers are trying
to cater to tweens and teens and twenty somethings with

(02:12:06):
unique features inside of the stores like selfie mirrors, videos,
experiences like pop up concerts, happy hours, those sorts of.

Speaker 5 (02:12:13):
Things to get gen z.

Speaker 2 (02:12:15):
Actually it's interesting their store because they're doing it. They're
going back in. But then there are still malls that
say no teens can be there after a certain time.
You know they're trying to kick you out. But the
mall used to be the hang that used to be
the place that you would go to. Yes, do you
ever you know I used to the mall. I would
be like my parents would drop me off and it
was my babysitter for like the day. Nowadays, I don't

(02:12:35):
know if I would drop my kid off and just
let them go to the mall, I'd be worried to
get like trafficked or something.

Speaker 3 (02:12:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (02:12:40):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (02:12:41):
For all of Today's Dirty.

Speaker 10 (02:12:43):
Catch up on the week's stories by checking out the
podcasts on the free iHeartRadio app remote in the home.

Speaker 2 (02:12:48):
Loan SHP Love you guys, Thank you, Mike, appreciate it.
Mike said, he's Armenian. And first thing I do is
I say the Kardashians. He kind of cringe there for
one second. Was they're attractive girls. All Armenian.

Speaker 30 (02:13:04):
Armenian women are not like the Kardashians. That's all I
can say.

Speaker 2 (02:13:07):
Okay, all right, And are we married to an Armenian woman?

Speaker 3 (02:13:11):
Is that?

Speaker 2 (02:13:11):
Women? No cant And Girls.

Speaker 3 (02:13:18):
In the Morning dot com Mojo in the Morning's Dirty
on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (02:13:27):
Mojo in the Morning, Doctor Jamie puts those headphones on
and play DJ with me hairt headphones. We are the worst.
This new building. We're gonna fit Lydia in the new year.
We're figuring this out. We got to get you an
intern so that they cantch phones and you can help
me produce this stuff up in the studio when people
come in, I always forget.

Speaker 4 (02:13:49):
Huh, what would you want as our intern?

Speaker 14 (02:13:51):
You tell me?

Speaker 2 (02:13:52):
You find if somebody wants to be our intern, send
us a resume to us. Yeah, you find out. Let's
do an old fashioned style for except for the new year.
That's my goal because we need we need to have
some some semblance of order here when we have these
all these guests come in on Fridays, and we got
more coming in. I want to make sure you get headphones.
Did you get coffee? Did you get anything? Do you

(02:14:13):
guys get that?

Speaker 12 (02:14:14):
Oh?

Speaker 27 (02:14:14):
Good?

Speaker 2 (02:14:14):
Got cappuccino? Did you get where the hell did the
cappuccino come from? I didn't get any capt the good stuff.
That's amazing. That's how fine China comes out. How's the
green room? Here is the green room? Nice? I haven't
even seen it. We have a green room we have
in studio with us this morning our good friends from
Reynolds Orthodonyx doctor Jamie from Renolds for him, and we

(02:14:35):
are here to announce the winner of our contest to
our New Smile contest for twenty twenty four. The last
winner was Morgan, Right Morgan from Madison Heights. I believe,
I believe.

Speaker 5 (02:14:48):
So I just saw her.

Speaker 10 (02:14:49):
Before and afters and oh, my goodness, gracious, that is incredible.

Speaker 2 (02:14:54):
Doctor Jamie. First off, how great is this guy right
here and over here? Smile smiles that guy smile. Unbelievable changed.

Speaker 38 (02:15:02):
You know, he's like the hardest working guy in Detroit.
Everywhere you go, you see this guy.

Speaker 2 (02:15:06):
You know, I appreciate that. Although he tells me though
that he goes I think I've got a lot of
things on my plate, he says, he sees you almost
at every game that he's even working at. We've got
half of them.

Speaker 38 (02:15:16):
All the Pistons, Yeah, bring and Walker out Walker, Yeah, yeah,
the Pistons.

Speaker 2 (02:15:22):
How's how's everybody doing? How's every family and everybody doing?

Speaker 11 (02:15:25):
Good?

Speaker 2 (02:15:26):
Care is great? Yeah, this is the time of the year.
And it's funny. I've been talking in the air during
the Reynolds Orthononyx commercials about your HSA and fssays and
all that stuff, all the essays NBC's the right exactly,
and how you have you put money into this thing
all year and you got a chunk of change in there.
You've got to.

Speaker 38 (02:15:41):
Figure this out and if well, your fssay has run
out at the end of every year, and it's sort
of the used it or lose it. Hsas are like
a four to one case, so you can use them
over time. But a lot of people call us and
they don't think about it. They're like, oh, yeah, I
got a thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (02:15:53):
Left or whatever.

Speaker 38 (02:15:54):
They're trying to figure out by contacts or where they
can go with it. And so we at least just
try to remind people that are phonys can be used
for that if they need to.

Speaker 2 (02:16:02):
And we're seeing this more that you know, obviously people
putting them on, you know, putting braces or doing sparks
like we are doing spark claarer liners, which are amazing.
The a lot of times mom or dad either wants
to redo or their first time ever. A lot of
people my age who have kids never had braces because
their parents maybe were too cheap or honestly couldn't afford them.

Speaker 38 (02:16:24):
Right, you know, facialistics in general are more important, no,
and so to have crooked teeth at any age isn't
the same as it was when we were young. So
there's a lot of people that see what happens with
their kids teeth and smiles and personalities as they get transformed,
and you know they want it for them too. And
it's more affordable now that it ever has been.

Speaker 2 (02:16:41):
And the other thing is we take more pictures now
than we ever took before. Absolutely, we are here to
announce the winner of our latest smile contest that we had.
Did you go on our website and or did you
go on the Reynolds orthonyx site and do all this?

Speaker 26 (02:16:57):
I actually was entering, sorry, I was actually entering a
different contest, the Sabrina Carpenter Like, I'm super like attention
to details, so I wanted to make sure, like read
all the rules and like where you guys were at.
And I came across it and I was like, well,
you miss one hundred percent of the shots you don't
take right.

Speaker 2 (02:17:14):
Michael Jordan's yeah, second.

Speaker 7 (02:17:18):
Yeah, yeah. I put in my information and here I am.

Speaker 2 (02:17:22):
Please welcome Abby with her good looking man Dean. These
guys are from Royal. How cool is that?

Speaker 11 (02:17:34):
I love it?

Speaker 2 (02:17:35):
First off, thank you Sabrina Carpenter. You know what, this
is better than Sabrina Carpent. This will last longer than
a Sabrina Carpenter contest and concerts.

Speaker 26 (02:17:45):
Didn't make it to the concert, but I'm grateful for the.

Speaker 2 (02:17:48):
Smile of Dean. I need to get close to this
microphone and I know you'll answer this right. This woman's
beautiful in no matter what her smiles looks like. But
can you imagine what the confidence level is going to
be when she's able to come through what doctor Reynolds
has for her.

Speaker 7 (02:18:01):
Yeah, I'm really excited to see that transformation. I had
braces when I was a kid, so it's just going
to be like a new start and really grateful for you.

Speaker 2 (02:18:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 15 (02:18:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:18:09):
Wait, how'd you guys meet?

Speaker 7 (02:18:10):
How'd you tender?

Speaker 3 (02:18:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:18:15):
Was y'all just looking to hook up or y'alls looking
to actually have a relationship.

Speaker 7 (02:18:21):
We're looking at the story just.

Speaker 26 (02:18:23):
I think kind of casually out there and then we
casually dated for a few months. We broke up for
a little bit, and then he reached back out and
it was that was end game twenty nineteen.

Speaker 2 (02:18:33):
Wow, Okay Reynolds Orthodonics, Doctor Reynolds, what are you going
to do for her? What is the what's the game
plan here? We're going to give an amazing smile. So
we're going to bring her in.

Speaker 38 (02:18:42):
We're working on trying to get a time to get
her in, to get everything set and then take great
care of her.

Speaker 2 (02:18:47):
Let's go.

Speaker 7 (02:18:48):
It's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:18:49):
That's so good. And I know you you have the feeling.
I know that everybody's gonna we're going to clap you out.
We're gonna do all this stuff when you're done, and
we're gonna get all excited. I their offices. Have you
been in yet? Have you gone?

Speaker 14 (02:18:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (02:19:00):
I went in to take the Which one you go to?
The one in Troy?

Speaker 2 (02:19:03):
Troy? Okay. It's the greatest staff I've ever seen in
any medical office. I say I say this to Jamie
all the time. I say, you're you're doing it right.
It can tell, and you can tell that people like
working for you, with you and and around you.

Speaker 3 (02:19:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:19:18):
So it's cool. That's the goal. At least, that's cool.
That's good. It's good people. Reynolds orthononyx my Amazing Smile
dot Com. We love you guys for coming in here. Congratulations.

Speaker 7 (02:19:31):
We're figuring that out.

Speaker 2 (02:19:33):
Money man, seriously, lucky guy, Lucky guy, who are you?
You come to smash and things? Last.

Speaker 1 (02:19:44):
Okay, thanks Detroit, three grade stations, one stupid show, Mojo
in the Morning Live, all right.

Speaker 2 (02:20:00):

We received a letter about your family for our Mojo
in the Morning Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program, and
I was wondering, do you have a moment right now
so that we can read you the letter.

Speaker 23 (02:23:06):
Oh yes, dear Mojo.

Speaker 7 (02:23:10):
In the Morning.

Speaker 23 (02:23:11):
My name is Sue, and I'm writing to tell you
the story of the cot family. Nick is a warn
police officer, Holly is a third grade Waterford school teacher,
and their son, Jack is a second grader at Cooley Elementary.
On November seventeenth, Nick injured his neck in a hunting accident.
He fell from his hunting blind and was on the

(02:23:34):
ground for hours before his family found him in seconds.
His entire life changed. He is now paralyzed from the
neck down. Nick has been on a ventilator full time,
and just this past weekend was able to begin taking
small breaths with the aid of a trake ventilator. Nick

(02:23:56):
has a long, long road ahead of him, but these
small improvements are big steps in Nick's recovery. Mojo, your
team and our community can help the cut family this
holiday season by making sure they have a proper Christmas

(02:24:18):
at u of M Hospital. Jack's world has been turned
upside down and to have Fanta presence and a holiday
meal with his dad would mean the world to him
and his family. Let's grant this breaking and entering wish. Sincerely,

(02:24:39):
Sue Austin, Oh, Sue.

Speaker 2 (02:24:46):
Hollie. I heard about this story not just from Sue.
I heard about the story from literally hundreds of people. Yeah,
Nicks Officer buddies, to all of your parents and students
and fellow teachers that know you and know how great

(02:25:10):

this is one big community that is coming together for you, guys,
and we know Nick is going to get better.

Speaker 2 (02:25:25):
We want you to focus all your tension on Nick
and let us and everybody that's part of this wish
focus our attention on Jack and make sure that Jack
has the best Christmas.

Speaker 34 (02:25:39):
Oh God, I can't even talk.

Speaker 2 (02:25:45):
You don't have to. Yeah, we we have our we
have our Yeah that Hey, Grandma Rosanna, will you tell
Hollywood what is going on right now at your home?

There's Nikki to Jeff.

Speaker 22 (02:27:11):
Everybody there to hi Holly.

Speaker 32 (02:27:17):
We're just so so happy that we were able to
do this for you. Guys, and Mojo in the morning
have just stepped up to the plate. This is going
to be a wonderful Christmas for you, guys.

Speaker 34 (02:27:29):
Oh, thank you you, thank you, thank you, thanks, thank you.

gets every single toy that's on his Christmas Lift, from
his Xbox to his Sonic games, to the clothes that
he wanted. And we understand that Jack is a huge

(02:27:54):
golf fanatic at seven years old. Our friends from just
down the street from where you guys are, Carl's Golf Land,
they are giving it. They are giving him everything that
he would need for golf, a brand new set of
clubs all the time, all the shoes, the balls, and
they said, Neil Felman said that anytime Jack comes into

(02:28:16):
Carl's golf Land, he does not pay to go play.

Speaker 19 (02:28:24):
I'm excited.

Speaker 10 (02:28:26):
And Holly, we have so many gifts for you, including
a laptop so you can work remotely while you're taking
care of your husband.

Speaker 33 (02:28:35):
We've got bodies for you and food, gift cards and
new clothes.

Speaker 10 (02:28:42):
And just so many incredible things. And and of course
we can't forget about Nick.

Speaker 2 (02:28:49):
No, we're not going to forget about Nick. Nick is
going to Nick is going to get everything that he's
going to need for the comforts of home while he's
on his recovery.

Speaker 15 (02:28:58):
We're going to give you right now because.

Speaker 2 (02:29:04):
Yeah, how is I was gonna ask you and I'm
gonna tell you what we're getting from because we've got
a big surprise. How is How is Nick doing? How's
the recovery doing? Right now?

Speaker 18 (02:29:15):
He's doing that.

Speaker 5 (02:29:17):
He's baby steps.

Speaker 2 (02:29:23):
You got a structor.

Speaker 22 (02:29:25):
He can't he said, he can't.

Speaker 18 (02:29:27):
Talk right now. We can't talk.

Speaker 19 (02:29:29):
But the doctors and nurses are just taking such great
care of them here.

Speaker 2 (02:29:35):
Yeah, they're the best, the best of the best out
there at you have m We love those guys. We
are going to get Nick a bunch of things. We
got Nick an echo so that he can voice command everything.
We've got him iPads to help him in his recovery.

Speaker 21 (02:29:52):
Yesterday Nick.

Speaker 2 (02:29:56):
A new TV for the for the room. We got
tons of door dash gift cards so that you guys
can have meals sent to your house. But one of
the biggest things that we're going to do is something
that we think will be the best thing for Nick
and for Jack, because we understand that one of the
things that Nick loved to do when he was off
duty was to give Jack his baths and get him
ready for bed every.

Speaker 5 (02:30:16):
Single night, pick him up the stairs every night. So
we're going to help you out with that.

Speaker 10 (02:30:20):
And this is a huge shout out to Tommy and
everybody over at the Creative Mobility Group who have helped
us out with breaking and entering year after year. But
they are going to be installing a stair lift in
your home, okay, so you don't have to worry about
Nick getting upstairs and Nick and Jack can still go
up those stairs together every single night to bed.

Speaker 2 (02:30:41):
Oh thank you, Holly. Nick is an amazing man. You've
