Speaker 1 (00:02):
Next, moosting your Grand Rabbit.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
And hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.
Speaker 3 (00:10):
Mojo in the Morning, guaranteed human mojo.
Speaker 1 (00:24):
Think one. God, let me take you back to the beginning.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Is alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (00:32):
You're a dodo ahead.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
It's Mojo in the Morning show. And I saw that
you were at a couple of parties and this weekend
or was that one party?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
And you just put a bunch of photos up.
Speaker 6 (00:46):
One party, one party photos?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
What? What? What was the party for?
Speaker 7 (00:50):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (00:50):
So it was my homegirl, Amber's fortieth birth birthday, birthday.
Speaker 9 (00:55):
It looked like a beautiful party.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
It was.
Speaker 8 (00:57):
So it was at sam but she had like a
private dining room for it.
Speaker 6 (01:03):
Y'all.
Speaker 8 (01:04):
I show up on the invite, mind you, it says
five thirty PM for dinner. I show up on time,
maybe at like five twenty five. I go to the
hostess and I tell them I'm here for this birthday
and they looked at me like I was crazy. I
was like, wait, am I at the wrong spot. They're like, oh,
your reservation isn't until six thirty. The dining room isn't
(01:25):
even set up yet. She's like, there must have been
a miscommunication. So I'm like, wow, that's crazy. Luckily I
live very close by, so I just went home. I
get there at six thirty, and I find out that
it wasn't a miscommunication. Amber actually put five thirty on
on the invite, knowing that it didn't start until six thirty,
because she knew our friends would.
Speaker 6 (01:43):
Be like, oh my gosh, I know, but I'm on time.
Speaker 8 (01:47):
And there was a couple others who didn't live nearby,
so they went to the bar. They showed up to
the party hammered before it even started because they were
sitting at the bar for an hour.
Speaker 5 (01:56):
She's got a lot of friends that are like Kevin
and No, she's got a lot of.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
We got a lot of friends. You show up late
to everything.
Speaker 5 (02:04):
I had to say today, we're going to lunch and
real quick after the show and hang out.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
Kevin.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
I had to say that we have to, you know,
leave here at eleven forty five because I know this bastard.
First off, he'll probably go home and reshower or something
like that.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
You didn't have to say that. You just chose to
say that I'm not going home. I thought we were
all hanging out here.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
No, but I said drinks before we go, right, Yeah,
well then okay, good, We're gonna have drinks starting at
eleven fifteen. We're in our cars at eleven forty five latest,
So okay, So that's a big time I know buffer
Like like sometimes I see people put a buffer of
maybe maybe thirty minutes.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
That's an hour buffer.
Speaker 8 (02:41):
This isn't the first time that it's happened to me either.
This happened with my friend Wendrick. He had a birthday
party this year, same thing. It was at least an
hour to an an hour and a half difference. And
I'm always the one who shows up on time.
Speaker 9 (02:53):
More gay Windrick and Emptence.
Speaker 10 (02:57):
He goes it was as a fent.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
That is.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
All right.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Does anybody else have either friends that are always late
so you have to tell them at different time, or
you guys have friends that give you the wrong time
because they know that you're not going to show up
until late.
Speaker 10 (03:13):
You want to know what's so funny, Anna is for
our family events, my mom usually has to tell people
a later time because my family is always insanely early. Yeah,
like my cousin Renee, if you tell her that Christmas Eve,
dinner starts at six, she will show up at four thirty.
Speaker 9 (03:32):
It never fails.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
It never fails.
Speaker 11 (03:37):
The opposite, you'll tell people a time to show up, like,
let's say, in this case, but my girl Amber forty,
if birthday five thirty, you expect people to actually beat
there at five thirty.
Speaker 5 (03:47):
Well, here's if it's a dinner ahead of time at
a restaurant, you got to be there.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
That's different.
Speaker 5 (03:52):
Sometimes sometimes restaurants won't seat you until the entire party
is there.
Speaker 11 (03:56):
Yeah, if it's at a restaurant, I can understand the
timing thing. If this has somebody, These houses make for
people to show up.
Speaker 10 (04:02):
One time, I went to a Christmas party on Friday
night and the invitation said five to eight. So I
showed up at five fifteen because I did not want
to be the very first person there and it would
be awkward and I didn't really know anybody else.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
So asking for people not to show up on time.
Speaker 11 (04:15):
If you put a timeline, like if you say five
thirty is the party. If people are late and you
got a problem with it, I can understand. If you
tell me it's from five thirty to nine, I can
show up at any time.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Well, if you if you do five thirty to nine,
that's because they got people that don't want to leave
and they want to make sure you're out of there
at a certain time. Yeah, that's after party, that's but
that is interesting though. When is the best time to
arrive at a party, the beginning or the end? I
always like to do a chan and did not be
the first one there, But I don't want to be
the twenty fifth one. I want to make sure I
(04:50):
get there, get my face seen by the host, and
then I rish goodbye my health.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
I'm fu with that though.
Speaker 11 (04:56):
Like for your party, yeah, a pregame a little bit,
I chill. I know it's gonna go kind of all
night long. I don't want to be the first person
here because then I got to like, I don't know,
I just feel like I got a speech to everybody.
I gotta do the whole thing. If I come there later.
Everybody's in a great mood. I'm about the right.
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Song and you it was right before you started on
the show. So Chelsea had a party for me, and
everybody thought Kevin was ghosting us at the party and
were everybody was bombed, like there was really a mood
where everybody was like, oh my god, I can't believe
he wouldn't come up. And then cause I said to everybody, go,
he's going to be here. He's gonna be here, and
as soon as he comes, we're gonna know that that
(05:34):
that he's here. And that's when, honestly, because I kept
pushing people off because they wanted to talk and do stuff,
I'm like, no, I said, we're waiting until Kevin comes here.
And Kevin comes walking in big grand uh entrance, him
and Windrick.
Speaker 11 (05:52):
They come walking in and uh. And it was honestly,
it was awesome. But it was the part time there
might just start talking. I was like, this is the
moment I was supposed there was.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
The funny thing was the old people like like we're
leaving or wanting to leave, like Pat Kudo is like,
I'm out of here if Kevin doesn't show up any
time soon. You ever, and then all of a sudden
you walked in and guess what, it made her stay.
She stayed for a little bit. What's going on, Heather,
how you doing?
Speaker 12 (06:18):
How are you this morning?
Speaker 13 (06:19):
Good?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (06:20):
We're talking about the etiquette of showing up to parties
or putting invitation times on what do you think.
Speaker 14 (06:28):
Okay, I'm a huge If there's a day or if
there's a time on it, you need to be there
on time, at least fifteen minutes. My husband and my
my youngest daughter and my husband, no joke, they would
be late for their own darn funeral.
Speaker 15 (06:44):
They will never ever be there.
Speaker 16 (06:46):
I tell them at least forty five.
Speaker 14 (06:47):
Minutes to an hour early reappointment, so you get there.
Speaker 3 (06:51):
Your daughter gets that from her dad.
Speaker 11 (06:54):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Yeah, that's yeah, that's pretty old bad.
Speaker 5 (06:58):
It's pretty amazing though, when you when you look at it,
because usually you think, with being a girl that she
would resemble a little bit more her mom.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
But her dad is the late guy.
Speaker 14 (07:09):
Yeah, my son's sake after being on time, it's very
important to them.
Speaker 3 (07:14):
Yeah, I get it. I'm I'm usually late to a
lot of things.
Speaker 5 (07:17):
And it drives Chelsea crazy because she says that I
will walk in and I'll do the whole you know,
pull the whole mojo thing, like hey, what's going on,
I'm here, and people don't like that, so she gets
all upset. She's like, as you know, my significant other,
She's apologizing all the time in saying it was my fault.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
What's going on, Keith?
Speaker 17 (07:36):
Oh?
Speaker 18 (07:37):
No, think, Good morning everyone.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
What's happening, buddy?
Speaker 18 (07:39):
Hey?
Speaker 19 (07:41):
Kill?
Speaker 18 (07:41):
Why do you mean making up your own rules to
people's invitation?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
Which you mean? What did I say?
Speaker 18 (07:50):
You can just show up whenever you want to, and
then you press mojo about being on time or late,
and come on, if you get give.
Speaker 11 (08:00):
Me a time range, then that tells me that as
long as I appeared during that range, then I'm good.
Speaker 3 (08:06):
The party is from five to fifteen to nine, not
just five fifteen.
Speaker 11 (08:11):
Ask Kevin about his games that he does for the Pistons.
What time does he What time you show up for that?
The meeting is at five thirty?
Speaker 5 (08:17):
He shows up at the meeting, he shows up two
and a half hours before game time at the time
it's five thirty.
Speaker 3 (08:23):
That's what we need to do. We need to have
a meeting before the parties for you. What's up? Jersey?
Speaker 20 (08:30):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
What's going on?
Speaker 21 (08:34):
I was just gonna say about my dad.
Speaker 22 (08:37):
Even from a young age, I used to have to
tell him that my sport practices were thirty minutes earlier
than they were.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Oh my god, So your dad would show up late
to his daughter's sporting events.
Speaker 3 (08:52):
Yeah, yeah, that's the worst. I mean, were you a starter.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
Time?
Speaker 3 (09:05):
I'm not missing if you're a scrub on the bench.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
It's funny though, as as a kid, you know, you
always look up in the stands or look out to
where the seats are, where the parents are, to see
where they're sitting. And if you don't see your dad,
there's like, oh, it's devastating. Uh yeah, Kevin. By the way,
I showed up earlier to Kevin's sons, you know, singing,
(09:30):
I'm like looking.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
Around going, you did too, I'm like, going, where is
his dad? When I was there when it started? Hi,
I'm uncle Mojo. I'm here to represent Joe Sion. My god,
how smart are you?
Speaker 4 (09:43):
In the mornings back in the day.

Speaker 20 (10:38):

I appreciate you and we love you.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
Hold one second, okay, we'll get your set up with
hell you guys, all right, what are we doing this early?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
We're gonna do Cardi. It's a little Cardi Christmas.
Speaker 5 (12:29):
Text to win Cardi the word Cardi C A R
D I to nine five five zero zero, and you
could be going to see Cardi B in twenty twenty five.
Good luck in the morning's dirty on the thirty or six.
Twenty twenty six. Yeah, text Cardi, I'm already writing it.
Remember you used to write checks You've got I'm already
(12:51):
writing the wrong day twenty twenty six, Cardi B. I
think it's in March. So text Cardi right now to
nine five five zero zero. Shannon, A lot of stuff
happened over the weekend. We were cleaning up house at
University of Michigan. We were watching the Lions lose yesterday.
Speaker 9 (13:08):
I mean, we'll get to that.
Speaker 10 (13:09):
Yeah, I don't want to start off with that. Let's
start off with some happy news. Let's start off with
Mojo's favorite some celebrity baby news. Actress singer Hailey Steinfeld
is expecting her first child with.
Speaker 9 (13:21):
Her husband Josh Allen.
Speaker 10 (13:23):
She was celebrating her twenty ninth birthday this week and
so on social media, she shared her twenty nine favorite
things from this past year, which included a home video
of her NFL playing heavy cradling her growing baby bump.
Speaker 9 (13:38):
It was very sweet.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Did you watch that game yesterday? That was incredible.
Speaker 5 (13:41):
I mean, Josh Allen, you're looking at the NFL being
upheaval because yesterday the Kansas City Chiefs got eliminated.
Speaker 3 (13:49):
Buffalo needed that win.
Speaker 11 (13:51):
I mean, these in an the Lions, I mean, well,
let's talk about that while all these Tears.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
Though, are struggling right now. And then Josh Allen single
handed wins that game after becoming a daddy.
Speaker 10 (14:03):
You know what I heard last night was this year's
NFL playoffs will be the first without Tom Brady, Peyton
Manning or Patrick Mahomes since nineteen ninety eight.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (14:13):
Yeah, yeah, yesterday's.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
Game was just awful.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
Actually, Rams win the second half was awful. I don't
know what our game plan was the second half.
Speaker 9 (14:25):
It was a tough pill for the Lions, especially after
we had that early.
Speaker 5 (14:29):
Lead and then we were blitzing the hell out of
Stafford in controlling what looked like the Rams offense in
the first half, and then we stopped blitzing in the
second half and we couldn't stop a run.
Speaker 3 (14:40):
It was crazy.
Speaker 9 (14:41):
Yeah, coach Dan Campbell after the game, you know, it should.
Speaker 30 (14:44):
Eat you up and do not go numb to the losing.
All right, Steph and I we're gonna come in. We're
going to watch this thing together tomorrow, all of us
in all three phases, watch everything top down, the players, ourselves,
you know, and make those corrections and then move on.
And it's simple as going back to work. And we
got to get better. With Pittsburgh coming into town, we
(15:06):
got to play better. And now we know you know,
now you have first hand knowledge, your boy, you know
what probably the top of the NFC looks like right now.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
That's that's them, you know, Thank god, that Green Bay loss,
and now you know what it looks like.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
You know what it is. And we're not there right now.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
Dan.
Speaker 30 (15:23):
Doesn't mean we can't believe, but now we know what.
Speaker 3 (15:25):
The organization raised.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
Everybody's season ticket price is fifty to one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (15:30):
Win some damn games, Dan, we got three more. We
got to win them all. If we don't win them all,
what is I know? I think we have a thirty
one percent chance at this point. We have to beat
every single team we have, including the Chicago Bears. Steelers
than after Steelers, and then we got the Vikings on Christmas. Okay,
we can uh they I couldn't believe they won last night.
Speaker 11 (15:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
And then the Bears, yep, we got the Bears. Okay.
Speaker 10 (15:56):
And the other big story when it comes to the
NFL is the Chiefs are out at this point, right
and Patrick Mahomes is really out torn a cl on
his left knee.
Speaker 3 (16:07):
So here's the thing with the Alliance. Okay, we gotta go.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
We got a clean house, new defensive coordinator, new offensive coordinator.
Dan Campbell needs to be told by the management that
he's got to, you know, start playing analytics and not
playing his his gut. I mean, I hate to say this,
but you're insane. No, they have to come on clean.
You want a clean house? Do you think that, first off,
(16:31):
we need a new offensive coordinator. That's the only thing
I agree with. What I don't think our defensive coordinator.
Look at the second half of that game. What the
hell was he gonna judge him off of half? I'm
gonna judge him off of every half.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
He doesn't have.
Speaker 11 (16:42):
He doesn't have either safeties. Brian Branch, Kirbie, Joseph are gone,
Terry and Ardoll is gone. He's had to plug and
play pool guy. He's doing the best of what he got.
I think he's doing a great job.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Oh, let's give him a You've done a great job award.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
What is this? What is this?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Do you want him to do?
Speaker 17 (17:01):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (17:01):
You gotta have people to play the game.
Speaker 22 (17:04):
Not.
Speaker 9 (17:04):
Can I move on?
Speaker 31 (17:05):
No?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
No.
Speaker 10 (17:08):
Amy Schumer and her husband Chris Fisher have called it quit.
She shared that news on Instagram by posting a photo
of the two of them.
Speaker 9 (17:16):
This was the caption, blah blah blah.
Speaker 10 (17:19):
Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end
our marriage after seven years. We love each other very
much and will continue to focus on raising our son.
And lastly, this is hard hitting news on this Monday morning.
According to researchers linked to Johns Hopkins, inhaling small amounts
of hydrogen sulfide aka farts, the gas that make fart stink,
(17:43):
may actually help protect your brain cells and support your
cognitive help. Scientists say in tiny doses, the gas can
trigger protective responses in your brain, potentially helping cells resist
damage tied to aging and disease.
Speaker 9 (17:59):
The keyword, though, is tiny.
Speaker 10 (18:01):
In tiny doses so reacher serves researcher stress that this
isn't an excuse to sit there and ferociously inhale your
own farts, because high concentrations can actually be toxic and
very dangerous to you.
Speaker 9 (18:17):
But truly, it'll sniff here and there is actually good.
Speaker 3 (18:20):
For your brain.
Speaker 5 (18:21):
You know what this reminds me of the the more
you know, those memes I keep sending my wife all
the time of like, smelling my farts actually makes us
a stronger America.
Speaker 9 (18:30):
I mean, could be true. Yeah, do you miss anything
from today's show.
Speaker 10 (18:33):
You can always go back and catch up on the
podcast on the free I Heart radio app.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
This is something in the Dirty on the thirty's on
our podcast now at Mojo in the Morning dot com.
It's Mojo in the Morning's five. It's six fifty five five.
Speaker 3 (18:48):
And six fifty five five and six fifty five. No, No,
I haven't seen that Kevin a while.
Speaker 10 (18:57):
Is he okay?
Speaker 3 (18:58):
He was confident?
Speaker 11 (18:59):
Oh there he is okay?
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Were we uh?
Speaker 32 (19:05):
Were we.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
Dropping the kids off at the pool? Dudy, I made
a begging. I did not you had to go to
the bathroom. That was a commercial break from hell to
I didn't have a read. Oh no, I know, okay,
I had to do. That was a long commercial break.
That was a long and perfect Is that from the
weekend or is it from the whole thing?
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Probably? I don't know. Okay, boy, just cleaning up like
that was the most amazing pop. Well, it's good to
have you back.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
And yeah, we got two new contestants in the five
and six fifty five please help me. Welcome from Brownstown.
He uh tests car parts for Ford Motor Company. His
name is Jason. What's up, Jason?
Speaker 3 (19:55):

you can go to YouTube TikTok.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
I said that. All right, go ahead, let's go, let's walk.
Speaker 19 (32:19):
I don't even think we need to wait for anyone
to answer the door.
Speaker 3 (32:22):
Just let us in.
Speaker 7 (32:24):
Yep, all right, let us say girl, thank you.
Speaker 29 (32:30):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 36 (32:32):
Hi.
Speaker 7 (32:33):
Whoa what are you Danielle? Yeah, Hi, Danielle.
Speaker 18 (32:37):
N is the moje in the morning.
Speaker 19 (32:39):
We actually have moj on this honge with you right now.
Speaker 3 (32:41):
Hi, Danielle, Danielle, Hey, how are you.
Speaker 18 (32:51):
Little God off guard?
Speaker 27 (32:52):
Right now?
Speaker 4 (32:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (32:53):
I have a six two year old right now.
Speaker 36 (32:55):
He's been up since one o'clock this morning.
Speaker 3 (32:57):
Oh my god, Well, we're gonna make you. We're gonna
make this quick.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
If you're okay with that, Danielle, will we got a
letter about you being the best mom in the world
from your daughter Madeleine for our Breaking and Entering Christmas.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
Wish.
Speaker 15 (33:14):
He told me you went outside.
Speaker 5 (33:15):
I didn't believe him, Danielle, I want you to listen
to Madeleine reading this letter.
Speaker 34 (33:21):
Okay, Dear no Joe in the morning, we would like
to nominate our amazing mom for the Breaking and Entering
Christmas because not only is she truly the strongest, most
selfless person we know. There are five of us, all
ranging from the ages of twenty one down to just two,
was being being the oldest and Grayson being the youngest.
(33:42):
No matter how difficult life has been these last two years,
our mom has never stopped showing up for us with love,
passion and determination. Sent her divorce, she faced one challenge
after another. When our dad filed for bankruptcy, her I
was repossessed, something that she had worked so hard to keep. Overnight,
(34:07):
her bills had doubled, and the weight of raising five
children so entirely on her shoulders trying to balance the
bills and taking care of five kids. She has never
once complained or as anyone for help. Instead, she picks
herself up every single day and works two full time
jobs just to make sure we have what we need.
Despite being in closset some her two jobs, she still
(34:29):
finds a way to make our home feel warm. She
even finds a way to listen when we need to talk,
showing up the school events when she can, and finding
small ways to make her smile. She puts herself less
in every possible way now because she has to, because
she loves us that much. On top of everything, she's
(34:51):
also paying for one of our college tuitions, making sure
we get the education we need, even though it's another
financial strain that she carries alone. We can see that
till a taste on her, the tired eyes.
Speaker 15 (35:05):
The conscience dress. But she still keeps going and brave
for her heart because we know how.
Speaker 7 (35:12):
Much she sacrifices.
Speaker 34 (35:15):
This year has spent especially hard on our mom, and
we love nothing more than hard to feel seen, appreciated
and even supporting, even if it's Elisa a day. Our
mom deserves a Christmas where she shouldn't have to worry
where she can breathe and where good things she deserves
can finally happen to her instead of her having to
(35:37):
make everything happen for everyone else. Thank you for considering
our mom. We hope you can help us bring some
joy and relief to the woman who goes to everything for.
Speaker 15 (35:46):
Us without ever asking for anything. In resten with love
and gratitude Madeleine.
Speaker 5 (35:54):
Wow, Danielle, you are such a great example to those
kids too. Always work hard, do the right things, and
you hear it in this letter that Madeline wrote.
Speaker 9 (36:08):
I mean she's aware.
Speaker 5 (36:09):
I mean she's eighteen years old and she's literally so
grown up for knowing all.
Speaker 3 (36:15):
That you do for her.
Speaker 10 (36:17):
The one line in that letter that sticks out to me, Madeline,
is that you want your mom to feel seen.
Speaker 19 (36:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
OK, you have such a beautiful family that.
Speaker 5 (36:34):
I'm watching you hold your precious grace in there, and
I really want you to know that we love that
you're letting us come into your home and we want
to make sure that he's okay and safe.
Speaker 3 (36:44):
But we also want you to know broken.
Speaker 37 (36:48):
No knocks, another touches all card, Yeah, didn't walk around
and then the door opened.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
We want you to worry for nothing.
Speaker 5 (37:00):
So we want you to have a Christmas that you
don't have to worry about the stress of going and
figuring out where you're going to find money to be able.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
To get your kids gifts.
Speaker 5 (37:10):
We're taking care of it this year, and we're granting
Madeline's Christmas wish for you.
Speaker 6 (37:16):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 19 (37:18):
But here's the running right, It's okay, it's okay, okay,
so hope you so right now.
Speaker 15 (37:24):
I'm so big as I made her cry.
Speaker 7 (37:28):
Where's your brother Dean? Yeah, he's es.
Speaker 19 (37:30):
They're sleeving sisters of course. Yeah, yeah, you know, being
twenty one.
Speaker 3 (37:37):
Danielle introduce us to the entire family. So Dean is
twenty one.
Speaker 19 (37:42):
Yeah, Dean's twenty one.
Speaker 29 (37:44):
And then I have Madeline, cyral Is downstairs and Sophie.
They're looking for a sweatshirt.
Speaker 7 (37:50):
Okay, So Cyrus's my foster.
Speaker 29 (37:53):
She's seventeen, Sophie is thirteen.
Speaker 16 (37:56):
And then we have Grayson here who's two.
Speaker 5 (37:58):
Wow, Grace is Gracing is such a great name and
it's such a cutie pie.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
My gosh, thank you. I want you.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
I want you to know every one of the kids
are getting taken care of. We've got gifts for the
big adult ones, the the you know, the the gifts
that they want. Madeline, I want you to know that
you're getting everything you wanted. I heard that your biggest
want was a kitchen aid mixer. We're going to make
sure you get that because you love to do some baking, and.
Speaker 9 (38:24):
Some furniture and stuff for your dorm important, and.
Speaker 3 (38:28):
We're going to make sure you get that.
Speaker 5 (38:29):
We're going to make sure that Dean gets everything that
he needs, you know, including the gaming systems and all
the rest of that stuff, a fishing pole so that
he can go fishing. And then we want to make
sure that Sophie and Grace and get all the kid
gifts that they want, because I think that's really important.
But one of the biggest things that we wanted to
make sure Danielle, we want to make sure after what
(38:49):
you've been put through and now being a single mom
with all the stress of these bills, we want to
make sure that you have the.
Speaker 3 (38:55):
Money to get through it.
Speaker 5 (38:56):
And that's why Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish is writing
you a check help you with some of your mortgage
payments and to help you with the bills that you
have coming in that are piling up.
Speaker 19 (39:09):
Right, she's crying around. She's both grace and this is okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (39:18):
Bot Our friends at Kroger heard about this, and Kroger
wants you to have all the food that you need
for the holidays. So I know there's a Kroger nearby.
You'll be able to go and get carts full of
food for all those kids. And make sure that your
home is warm, comfortable and has the spirit of the
holiday season.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
And this is a new life for you. This is
a new world for you.
Speaker 5 (39:42):
You are going to have a new year where great
things are going to happen to Danielle.
Speaker 29 (39:48):
Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 10 (39:50):
Mom, does it feel like a little bit of the
weight has been lifted right now?
Speaker 29 (39:55):
Yeah, and it feels a little unreal right now.
Speaker 19 (40:00):
She just said earlier she was really worried about Christmas.
Since it's really helped.
Speaker 29 (40:05):
It's not like about the gifts and everything, but when
you have kids, it's hard.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
They want they want to have.
Speaker 9 (40:13):
Yeah, and yet and Santa helped us with this one.
Speaker 6 (40:17):
And Mom, you give them too.
Speaker 8 (40:19):
We want you to take care of yourself, so you
have some gift cards to take yourself to the spa
and get feeling right.
Speaker 18 (40:29):
Here.
Speaker 29 (40:29):
You got that's something the kids can't feel.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
Our friends from the Detroit Pistons are there, and this
is actually something cool for the family. What do we
got from the Detroit Pistons here today?
Speaker 19 (40:43):
You got a good move for us.
Speaker 37 (40:48):
You know, her face slit up and Hooper walked it.
Speaker 7 (40:50):
You were not sected up a little.
Speaker 5 (40:55):
This is the thing that people don't understand what sports
does for a community. You can have a situation like
this where you as a mom are struggling to wonder
what's going to happen the next day, but you go
to a sporting event and you get to see what
so much fun is happening in our city. And that's
why the Detroit Pistons are hosting you in your entire
(41:16):
family to come out to a game and be their
special guest on what could be a very magical season
for these guys this year.
Speaker 16 (41:25):
That's awesome.
Speaker 29 (41:27):
My son's gonna be so happy.
Speaker 37 (41:29):
He loves basketball.
Speaker 3 (41:32):
Sophie, Sophie, Hi, Sophie, tell me about your mom. She's beautiful.
I can see her on our video, But tell me
what kind of mom she is.
Speaker 7 (41:48):
She's like, are these people?
Speaker 36 (41:50):
This is Mojo from Mojo in the Morning that we
listened to every morning in my school. I was rushing
her and I said, tomorrow we're gonna miss breaking.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
A.
Speaker 16 (42:00):
You're not going to miss at your house.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
You guys.
Speaker 16 (42:06):

Speaker 19 (42:07):

Speaker 7 (42:13):

to Madeline one one more time. Because I talked to
Madeline off the air last week, I had a chance
to get to know her a little bit. Madeline, Hi,
you are such an amazing young woman. You focus on
your school, you get that education, you get that big degree,
you go out in this world and you do great things.
(42:38):
That's going to be the greatest blessing that your mom
is ever going to receive from you. Yeah, anytime that
you ever feel like things are too tough, I want
you to think about your mom and know the example
that she's shown you, of the fact that she continues
on and she tries to make things so beautiful for you, guys,
I will give your mom the biggest hug and have
(43:00):
a merry Christmas to you guys and Danielle I love
you so much.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
Thank you so much for what you do.
Speaker 19 (43:05):
Thank you guys so much.
Speaker 36 (43:06):
This is overwhelming but exciting.
Speaker 3 (43:09):
And yeah, Christmas, it's all worth ever a random.
Speaker 7 (43:14):
Train of breaking in your house?
Speaker 19 (43:15):

Speaker 7 (43:18):
So I think we got to do our Merry Christmas.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
Yes, that's time, all right, everyone.
Speaker 7 (43:23):
I want everyone to get in the living room right now.
Speaker 15 (43:25):
Everyone that's in this house, all right, bring everyone over here.
Speaker 7 (43:30):
Don't be shy, don't be shy. All right, we got
a whole crowd over here. Everyone's a little shy to
get over here. I don't bite guys, all right, ready, Okay,
on the count of three, we're gonna be the biggest
Merry Christmas ever. Okay, all right, one? Two?
Speaker 5 (43:48):
Straight?
Speaker 3 (43:51):
I love it?
Speaker 1 (43:58):
But what showed up it?
Speaker 3 (44:00):
Three second?
Speaker 4 (44:01):
D is after read this morning Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 11 (44:06):
All right, hey, now us time now to give away
Santa's money. It is Grab Santa Sack, Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 5 (44:21):
Grab Santa Sack for a chance to win, right now,
your opportunity to win. I don't know why that just
switched over. For some reason, my control board just switched over.
It was really weird. Let me see her Manuel, Hello there,
it is my headphone started sounding differently, and I'm like,
what is going on? I was in satellite mode. I
don't even know we have satellite mode. All right, grab
(44:44):
Santa Sack your share of five thousand dollars lines. Tickets
could also be up for grabs. Two eight four four
Mojo Live, ninety fifth collar, good Luck.
Speaker 4 (44:52):
Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 3 (44:55):
All right, sheaned with the dirty. I gotta be honest
with you.
Speaker 5 (44:56):
I woke up this morning and I turned on, you know,
the local TV stations, and they had Good Morning American,
and I saw this story about actor director Rob Reiner
getting stabbed at death last night and.
Speaker 9 (45:13):
His wife and his wife Michelle crazy. This is a
wild I mean, I was shocked when I saw this story.
Speaker 10 (45:20):
They were, like you said, both found dead inside of
their Brentwood, California mansion, very very very upscale suburb of
Los Angeles in what authorities are calling a double homicide.
So paramedics with the LA Fire Department called to the
home from medical emergency, only to discover a seventy eight
year old man, Rob and a sixty eight year old
(45:42):
woman his wife, Michelle, unresponsive inside of the residence. So
a formal murder investigation is underway, but word on the
street is that their son Nick killed them. And you
and I were talking and you said, he has unfortunately
a problem with addiction.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
I think he's got drug addiction.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
Who's like, he's in his thirties or something that from
what I was reading about him, I I didn't know
anything about Rob Reiners. Matter of fact, our listeners may
not know. They may they'll know when they see Rob
Reiners if he was all over ever.
Speaker 10 (46:13):
Okay, so he I mean his career spans decades. He
first became a household name on the sitcom All in
the Family.
Speaker 9 (46:21):
He had he played Mead Heead.
Speaker 11 (46:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (46:23):
He went on then to direct beloved films like When
Harry Met Sally, stand By Me, The Princess Bride, a
few Good Men. You might remember him from this scene
in Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Speaker 3 (46:36):
Toty what you got?
Speaker 9 (46:37):
You look at this?
Speaker 3 (46:39):
Twenty six thousand dollars.
Speaker 1 (46:41):
For one then O, no, no, this could be explained.
Speaker 3 (46:43):
Yeah, I mean movie was this one from me? Four movie?
Speaker 4 (46:46):
This?
Speaker 10 (46:47):
It was him talking about his favorite movie. Oh, his favorite,
oh yeah, which is stand by Me?
Speaker 5 (46:51):
Because my favorite Princess Bride was if you've never seen
The Princess Bride before, that is such a great movie.
And uh, he came up with the most iconic line
ever when you talked about when Harry met Sally, well,
I'll have what she has. That was his mom that
actually said that line. So that was Carl Reiner's White.
Speaker 9 (47:07):
One of my favorite movies of all time.
Speaker 3 (47:08):
And you can't handle the truth from that Double Jeopardy, No,
you can't handle the truth.
Speaker 5 (47:15):
No, the movie with Tom Cruise and Jack Nichols in
the Courtroom movie, A few good Men?
Speaker 3 (47:21):
No, if you good mens? Oh, okay, okay.
Speaker 35 (47:23):
For me, the one that means the most is stand
by Me, because it was the first time I made
a movie that I felt reflected my personality, my sense
of bilit we.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
Stand by Me was mcaulay culkin right where you got
he died got be stung?
Speaker 9 (47:40):
Or no, No, that was my girl. I don't think
I've ever seen Samimy who's in that hang in a second.
Speaker 3 (47:45):
Was from eighty six though the guy he for Sutherland.
Speaker 9 (47:49):
Okay, Oh, I don't have internet, so go figure.
Speaker 5 (47:51):
So wait, so let's talk a little bit here for
a second. So the weird thing is this morning, Uh,
the mayor Karen Bass and then the guy what's his
name in California, Gavin Newsom, both are saying sending their
condolences to his daughter didn't condolence his son. So that
(48:14):
makes me think that there is something to do with that.
And the cops say that they are not looking for
anybody that was involved in this murder. And then did
you read in your story because I read the whole
thing in Daily Mail that last night Larry David and.
Speaker 3 (48:33):
Oh god, what's his name?
Speaker 5 (48:34):
From from Saturday Night Live Billy Crystal, Larry David and
Billy Crystal were seen leaving the house late at night
and Larry David was consoling Billy Crystal. And they say
that the cops haven't even been inside of the house there.
Speaker 10 (48:52):
Literally at CNN is doing live updates, So that's what
I'm following, because.
Speaker 5 (48:55):
They couldn't go in the house until they had a
search warrant, So the coroners haven't even touched the bodies yet, Yeah,
to see how they were killed.
Speaker 3 (49:05):
And they said a daughter found him, right, Yeah, the
daughter see.
Speaker 9 (49:09):
That crazy story. We'll have more throughout the morning, all right.
Speaker 10 (49:13):
At sixty four years old, Oscar winning actor George Clooney
told reporters he no longer plans to kiss his female
co stars in movies. This is based on a long
conversation he had with his wife, Jamal Clooney after he
turned sixty. He explained, as he's gotten older, he's just
reached a point where smooches on camera don't fit his
priorities or states of life anymore. And obviously this move
(49:36):
marks a departure from decades of roles where his chemistry
with his co stars were kind of part of his signature.
But it just goes to show how his personal life,
especially his marriage his role as a dad, have really
reshaped his creative choices moving forward.
Speaker 3 (49:49):
Why was he talking so much lately? Is he about
to drop something?
Speaker 11 (49:53):
He was just on the Travis podcast talking about Taylor's relationship.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
Why does he's going to run for political office?
Speaker 9 (49:59):
He's a always said that he wasn't going to say
no to that thought.
Speaker 3 (50:03):
I'm maybe or something that I to.
Speaker 10 (50:07):
Three former backup dancers for Lizzo have dropped their claims
that she fat shamed them. Do you guys remember this
case from a couple of years ago. There were three
dancers in particular, who made those claims. They were denied
by eighteen witnesses in sworn declarations submitted to the court.
The three also accused Lizo of forcing them to go
(50:28):
two nude shows excuse me, in Amsterdam and Paris, and
then also have some sort of interaction with the sex
performers in those cities. Lizzo's defense team said they are
confident she will prevail in this case.
Speaker 3 (50:40):
Did so they dropped the case. They dropped the case.
Speaker 10 (50:43):
After all of these witnesses came forward and said, no,
none of this stuff happened.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
Okay, So it wasn't that they were paid off or
anything like that.
Speaker 9 (50:51):
I don't think so.
Speaker 10 (50:53):
I am and Leslie the dad who had the ultimate
dad joke, and it just so happened to be at
his daughter's wedding. This is part of the toast that
he gave while his beautiful daughter and her brand new
husband were sitting there at the head table in front
of everybody.
Speaker 38 (51:09):
All Brittany's life, all she ever wanted to do is
get married and get rid of the last name Hickey.
Speaker 3 (51:25):
So baby girl, you did it. Congratulations missus Cox him.
Speaker 10 (51:32):
And you know how I know it's it's true. By
the way, the audio came through funky. It's why it's
only you know. You know how I know it's true.
Is One of the big wedding trends right now is
to have those neon signs with your new name and
it says the Cox.
Speaker 9 (51:46):
Really, so they're sitting in front of this neon sign
at the head table that.
Speaker 6 (51:50):
Says the Cox Cox.
Speaker 10 (51:52):
Oh no, it's cos that's their name.
Speaker 3 (51:57):
Would be a worst name, Hickey or Cox.
Speaker 4 (52:00):
Up?
Speaker 3 (52:00):
What has she got it? Hyphenating?
Speaker 10 (52:05):
All right, if you miss anything from today's so remember,
you can go back and catch up on the podcast
at any time.
Speaker 9 (52:10):
Search Moje in the Morning in the Free I heard as.
Speaker 1 (52:14):
It's Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (52:15):
It's dirty on the Dirty.
Speaker 31 (52:19):
You're called.
Speaker 5 (52:21):
Oh yeah, stand by me, Uh River Phoenix, Corey Feldman,
Jerry o. Time key for Sutherland was in that movie.
It's funny. I'm looking at all these movies that he was.
He was way better of a director producer than he
was an actor. But man, those movies were iconic. Crazy story,
sad sad Story. Rob Reiner, all right, it's Mojo in
(52:44):
the Morning show. Bobby is on with us.
Speaker 3 (52:47):
Hi, Bobby, Oh, good morning, welcome, welcome back, Bobby. This
is better than the first time.
Speaker 5 (52:58):
I can guarantee that because you're gonna reach inside Santa
Sack and grab Santa sak here for some cash.
Speaker 3 (53:05):
Oh my gosh, guys, I love you all right, your
hands are soft.
Speaker 39 (53:10):
It's time to reach into Santa Sack with Mojo in
the morning.
Speaker 3 (53:17):
What would you rather get cash or Lion's tickets? Bobby? Oh,
after watching last night's game, I'm going for cash. I
got you cash, I gotcha. All right, here we go.
Do me a favor.
Speaker 5 (53:30):
Rub those hands so that they warm up a little
bit because it is damn cold outside, and then reach
inside and grab Santa sack.
Speaker 40 (53:38):
Oh gosh, that's kind of damp.
Speaker 4 (53:40):
What's going on there?
Speaker 41 (53:41):
Okay?
Speaker 39 (53:41):
Ready, Anna and Shannon could do some damage with that
six hundred and seventy.
Speaker 5 (53:49):
Eight seventy eight deep. Congratulations to you about it, you guys.
The beauty is that we have more cash to give away,
and we've got lions tickets to give away. So congratulations
(54:11):
to you. I want you to hang on the phone
and we're going to get some information from you and
Bobby from Rochester.
Speaker 3 (54:16):
Enjoy nice, appreciate it. Guys, hang on one second.
Speaker 41 (54:21):
You got it.
Speaker 3 (54:22):
It's Mojoe in the Morning. Have you ever thought that
you were going to die?
Speaker 5 (54:27):
I want to talk about this real quick, because yesterday
I literally thought I was going to die.
Speaker 3 (54:32):
Like that came out of nowhere. I ever thought you
were going to die? Next on the Mojo in the
Morning show. So I was driving home.
Speaker 5 (54:42):
I went to Chicago this weekend to go visit my
son Jacob, and as I decided that I was going
to wake up really early and I was going to
just hit the road so I can get home, sit
on my couch, get some stuff done, you know this week,
and then watch football. So I got up, took a shower, boom,
I was on the probably before the sun even came up.
(55:02):
That's how early I got on the road. And if
you've never done the drive to Chicago from wherever you are,
if you're in Toledo, or if you're in Grand Rapids
or Detroit, my drive is I take that Skyway, which
is the cut through in Indiana there through Gary and
then I get to ninety four and I take ninety
(55:22):
four literally shoot all the way to M fourteen and
then drive to two seventy five and then M five
and I'm not giving you my home address.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
What am I doing here?
Speaker 5 (55:30):
So I'm driving and I looked at the weather ahead
of time, and I looked at the weather in Chicago
it was just cold. I looked at the weather in
you know, Michigan, it was still cold. I looked at
the weather, you know, at my house, and it was
even colder. So long story short, I'm driving there and
everything's fine. All of a sudden, I hit Portage, Indiana,
(55:52):
and as I hit Portage, Indiana, there's some snowflakes. I'm thinking,
this ain't so bad, no problem, everything is good, and
I forget because I don't live like Mike does in
Grand Rapids or anywhere in Chicago near the lake. You
can get some lake effects snow, And all of a sudden,
out of nowhere, I hit New Buffalo, Michigan, which is
the Hampton's of the Midwest. I hit New Buffalo, Michigan,
(56:15):
and I cannot see anything in front of me.
Speaker 9 (56:18):
I'm so scared.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
I'm not kidding you, guys.
Speaker 5 (56:20):
I literally was went from driving sixty miles an hour
two I was driving fifteen miles an hour. And then
I put my blinkers on because I thought the people
behind me aren't going to be able to see me.
I can't see you in front of me. I got
the windshield wipers blowing on both sides of this car,
and I'm going off of this Honda Civic that's in
front of me, and we're driving the whole way for
(56:43):
the next It seemed like two hours because it was
that way from all the way in Portage, Indiana, and
New Buffalo, Michigan. In Michigan City, Indiana, all the way
to Battle Creek. I had lake effect snow the whole way,
and I Am not going to lie to you. It
would let up for about five minutes and I'd be great,
(57:04):
but there's still snow on the ground, and I'm still, like,
you know, going slow, like going maybe forty five miles
an hour where it's normally like a seventy something mile
an hour zone. And then all of a sudden, a
huge snow squall would hit again, and I would be like,
holy crap, and my back is hurting me right now.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
That's what Anna was giving me crap for. She goes.
Speaker 5 (57:21):
I said, any of you guys ever had that where
you're so tense driving that your back hurts and she goes,
I'm not that old.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
Well you know what to see, warmer on, wait till
you're that old.
Speaker 5 (57:32):
Not gonna lie to you, guys. I was so stressed out.
It had nothing to do with anything other than I
was like this the whole time. Oh yeah, And I
thought I was going to die. And I thought to myself,
I'm like, oh, Chelsea one time told me she had
to drive through this, and she said that afterwards she
was telling somebody that, And you have to tell me,
if this is the case, you should never try to
get off the highway when this is happening, because that's
(57:53):
where the accidents happen, where people try to pull over
and they don't realize that they're not pulled.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
Over and a car comes and hits them.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
So you got to keep on going like you cannot stop,
and you can't even see the exit and entrance ramps
like there's nowhere to see them. You don't even see
really overpasses until you're under them. And so I did
this drive and I literally thought I was going to die.
I did four times the entire time where it was
(58:20):
so bad. I was like, God, oh please, whatever you do,
don't take me. I don't want to you know, I
don't want to die. I don't want to die. And
I was so scared. And it got me thinking because
right after I got done with it, we got to
Battle Creek and we drove through where it has the
big sign there on the overpass, and it was done.
(58:41):
It was clear, and I thought to myself, Oh my god,
I'm calling my wife to tell her I love her,
and You're like, yeah, Like I felt like I felt
gratitude at that moment that I had to like give
a sense of gratitude to like the people that I love.
And so I called her up right away and she
picked up the phone and she's not feeling well. She
she was sick this weekend. Kevin gave her, don't do that.
Don't do I heard and I and she was like,
(59:05):
what what's going on? Like I told her, I'm like,
I can't believe this. And it got me thinking. You
know what, I'm going to bring this up as a
topic on the air and ask the question of our listeners.
Were you ever in a situation where you thought you
were going to die? What was going through your head
at that time that you thought you were going to die,
and what was like the first thing that you did
right afterwards, because really, right after this whole thing was
(59:26):
over with, I started thinking to myself, I'm like, I
need to be thankful for what I have and the
fact that I had a vehicle. Thank you Mike Porter
at Gordon Chevrolet for selling me a tahoe that got
me through this. I mean, I was petrified the entire time,
and I'm not going to lie. You think that you're
not seeing anything. The only thing I'm seeing are lights
(59:47):
up in the air as cars are off on the side, yeah,
pointing down into the ditch because they slid off the road.
Speaker 10 (59:53):
I've literally been in that same situation making that same
drive home when my sister lived in Chicago.
Speaker 9 (59:58):
It was New Year's Eve.
Speaker 10 (59:59):
I wanted to get out of the city before the
craziness happened, and everything was fine until I left the city,
and it was that same situation where I was going home,
and I think I prayed for three hours straight.
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
It's scary.
Speaker 9 (01:00:11):
That is a very scary driveway.
Speaker 5 (01:00:13):
I mean, the truckers are driving still at a fast
speed and they can't see dick, you know what. I
I don't know how they're driving like that. Eight four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five six
five four eight. What's up, Lucy.
Speaker 16 (01:00:27):
So I just came back from Buffalo, New York through Canada.
Speaker 3 (01:00:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 26 (01:00:33):
It was the scariest drive of my life. It took
extra four hours to get home. I'm watching cars just
fly off the freeway and it was one of those
oh my god, just get me home situations were.
Speaker 3 (01:00:48):
You were you offering up that you will be a
better person if you get through this whole thing.
Speaker 26 (01:00:55):
I came home and kissed the ground.
Speaker 3 (01:00:59):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I honestly, I wish I watched the summer.
Speaker 26 (01:01:04):
We sat on the freeway for forty five minutes because
the semi caught on fire.
Speaker 1 (01:01:08):
Wow.
Speaker 11 (01:01:09):
And that drive, by the way, it's a new joke,
you know, Buffalo and I'm in a foreign country.
Speaker 5 (01:01:14):
Yeah, Buffalo taking the Canadian route. You're already a little
disheveled because you are in a foreign country and you
you know, you don't know the route maybe, and that
weather can get really really snowy, really really fast.
Speaker 3 (01:01:29):
Yeah, and it was.
Speaker 7 (01:01:31):
It took me four hours to get there.
Speaker 26 (01:01:32):
It took me eight hours to get home.
Speaker 3 (01:01:34):
Oh crazy.
Speaker 9 (01:01:34):
But at least he got home safely.
Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Yeah, I'm glad you're here with us. What's up at trees?
How you doing?
Speaker 7 (01:01:40):
Good morning, I'm doing fine.
Speaker 16 (01:01:41):
Thank you.
Speaker 42 (01:01:44):
You guys.
Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
Have you been through this?
Speaker 12 (01:01:48):
Yes, I was taking my daughter came down for Thanksgiving
and she was going to Michigan State. The baby girl
made a mistake and spilled.
Speaker 36 (01:01:57):
Liquid on the daughter's computer, you know, the one from
Michigan State.
Speaker 12 (01:02:02):
So I had to drive her back to Michigan State.
In the process, I'm driving next to a semi truck
and it seemed like the sky.
Speaker 16 (01:02:09):
Does opened up and we had a complete white out,
and I.
Speaker 12 (01:02:13):
Was praying because the car got the swerve and the
damn truck was next to me.
Speaker 15 (01:02:17):
I was scared for my life.
Speaker 27 (01:02:18):
Yeah, and my daughter still brings that up to this day,
like Mama, that was the scariest stuff ever.
Speaker 7 (01:02:23):
And you know, I'm never in my life want to
be in.
Speaker 4 (01:02:25):
A white out again.
Speaker 5 (01:02:27):
In driving ninety six, when that happens, where it's just
a straightaway and there's farms on both sides of the road,
there's no lights anywhere, you don't know what's happening.
Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Exactly, and it was it was so scary. I saw
my life flashed before my eyes. But I had to
give my daughter back to Michigan State. Show up.
Speaker 12 (01:02:45):
I just got up off the got up off the
gas and let it coast and waited until.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
The white out disappeared.
Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
Shout out to moms that will get in the car
and put their life on the line to get their
daughters back to school for their computer.
Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
You know, she hadn't work, that was said, can't I
need it? Yeahs that take care of you. What's up, Vanessa?
How you doing.
Speaker 27 (01:03:18):
Good?
Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
How are you good?
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
You were in the same spot that I was.
Speaker 36 (01:03:22):
So we were coming home from Chicago and the weather
said it was going to be clear skies you know
of nowhere it hit and it.
Speaker 7 (01:03:32):
Was like you could not see anything in front of
you at all.
Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
Yeah, it's scary, it really is.
Speaker 7 (01:03:40):
It was like we were I said, the counting cars.
Speaker 12 (01:03:43):
There was like at least fifteen.
Speaker 25 (01:03:44):
Cars in like every like quarter of a mile and dishes.
Speaker 40 (01:03:48):
It was crazy.
Speaker 11 (01:03:49):
What are you supposed to do any situations? Are you
supposed to keep driving? Are you supposed to pull out?
Speaker 9 (01:03:54):
You said, you gotta keep going.
Speaker 5 (01:03:56):
And that's the thing in the truck, Like the truckers
make it worse because they just keep driving fast you know,
they don't.
Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
They don't want to drive behind.
Speaker 43 (01:04:06):
Yeah, they were driving so fast.
Speaker 12 (01:04:08):
I was like, should we pull over our mouths?
Speaker 26 (01:04:09):
I was like, no, you just gotta gom at all.
Speaker 6 (01:04:13):
This is when like the fifty car pile ups happened.
Speaker 5 (01:04:16):
Yes, I'd like to know if there's anybody who's had
one of those near death experiences or almost moments. Anybody
ever been with somebody that had a gun, Anybody ever
been where like we're not just cars, Like I'm talking
about where you're in, where you're in it, like where
you're like, God, just get me through this whole thing
or whatever, or you know, uh, something other than just
(01:04:37):
even the driving part.
Speaker 11 (01:04:38):
Because I've experienced that. I don't bet hot before. I'm
sure we all have been one. I was on the
vack seat, Colin Kei was in the front. It was
so below I was at the vack seat. I felt
like I heard my heart outside of my body. I'm like, God,
please just make me through the night.
Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
That's what to God. I never smoked a guess what
a God do whatever you gotta do to give me
a situation. Did you ever smoke? Again? Absolutely? Paul almost
choked the death What happened.
Speaker 13 (01:05:05):
Paul, My wife and daughter had cut up some watermelon.
We went to a friend's house and I decided to
start eating one, and I guess while I was trying
to swallow in inhale at the same time, it got
bogged and I literally was like gasping to try and inhale.
(01:05:28):
And I looked at her friend in straight panic mode,
like please help me, while like trying to gasp for air,
and she didn't. She couldn't do anything.
Speaker 18 (01:05:37):
She was in panic.
Speaker 13 (01:05:39):
My girlfriend came and started giving me the Heimlich and
that still wasn't working. I literally thought I was going
to die because the police were not going to come
in time. I'm literally struggling to gasp for air, and
for some reason, I decided to start drinking water and
chugging water. And that's what that's what I.
Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Would think to do.
Speaker 9 (01:06:01):
But thank goodness, you did that.
Speaker 13 (01:06:02):
And my entire body literally was soaked. It literally looked
like I had jumped out of the swimming pool. I
was literally so scared and thankful at the same time
that I'll never eat watermelon again.
Speaker 3 (01:06:15):
It's wild, you know, and out of all things to
die eating watermelon, you know what I mean?
Speaker 13 (01:06:20):
I mean not even worth it.
Speaker 6 (01:06:22):
So you haven't touched it since Nope.
Speaker 5 (01:06:25):
Yeah, I mean Ruth Chris maybe, but Watermelon geez. Brittany
blacked out and hit her head, almost dying. Where were you, Brittany.
Speaker 16 (01:06:36):
I was actually at the Intersection and Grand Rapids, enjoying
the Brice Wne concert, okay, and all of a sudden,
I just was feeling absolutely terrible. I told my friend
something was wrong, and I, uh, just I went to
fall forward and she grabbed me and then I ended
up sliding down our table and I hit my head
(01:06:58):
on the foot to the bar table, you know, the
big round metal thing that goes around. And I was
fully unconscious and I woke up to my friends screaming Brittany, Brittany, Britney,
and I ended up with a concussion, so like my
pupils were pulsating, and it.
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Was really bad. I thought I was gonna die and
it was terrifying. That's the worst. It's a Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:22):
I've heard of people that have said that they've had
that where they got hit in the head and they
passed out and they remember some other thing that they
were at, and then they wake up where they're at
and they're like, oh my god, like we're almost kind
of like they dream what is happening, or they have
like a near death moment.
Speaker 3 (01:07:39):
Ka is the one that I was looking for. Kay,
what happened to you?
Speaker 14 (01:07:44):
So we were me and my boyfriend.
Speaker 41 (01:07:47):
We were on our way to work.
Speaker 16 (01:07:48):
We worked at the same place, and.
Speaker 41 (01:07:49):
We stopped to get gas and if a guy jumped
out and robbed up that gunpoant and my four year
old daughter was in the backseat. I was freaking out.
I was just take wherever you want.
Speaker 16 (01:08:01):
Just don't hurt my baby. Just don't hurt my baby.
Speaker 35 (01:08:04):
I thought.
Speaker 3 (01:08:07):
I was terrified.
Speaker 16 (01:08:09):
I've never been more scared of anything before in my life.
Speaker 3 (01:08:11):
And I know it was just because she was there.
Speaker 41 (01:08:14):
I don't know, like I think when my boyfriend went in,
he I used to tell him all the time, so
I'm taking all your money out to pay it.
Speaker 15 (01:08:24):
He's a little older brain.
Speaker 41 (01:08:26):
I don't know what he was thinking. But the guy
just jumped out of nowhere, like off between the side
of the building and the trash can and just pulled
out a gun and caught us as he was getting
back in the car with the car door open.
Speaker 9 (01:08:41):
But did he and he finally obviously went away when
your daughter he.
Speaker 42 (01:08:45):
Did yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, No, he took what he
wanted and then just ran. Okay, Wow, it wasn't any worse,
but it was bad enough just being in that situation.
Speaker 5 (01:08:58):
I was horrified, and you're in literally you're praying to
God please get me through this thing.
Speaker 3 (01:09:03):
Hold on a second, Kim was abducted. Oh that's my
worst fear. What were you doing, Kim?
Speaker 22 (01:09:11):
So?
Speaker 12 (01:09:11):
I happened to live in Florida when I was eighteen
years old and I was My car broke down, and
so I was hitchhiking and a gentleman had picked me up,
and so he was talking to me about his family,
so good ten minutes. He seemed pretty normal. But he
pulled me into the Orange Groves in Florida off the freeway,
(01:09:35):
and I knew that wasn't the way to my house.
So what happened was I fought for my life. I
kicked his windshields, I kicked his dashboard, I kicked the
side of his car, and he ended up driving me
out of the Orange Grove and I was safe.
Speaker 3 (01:09:50):
Wow, I thought, how long was the whole thing?
Speaker 16 (01:09:53):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
How long were you taken by this?
Speaker 12 (01:09:56):
Guy by like about twenty minutes because I was on
the freeway and then he pulled me right because everything
was like orange groves down there.
Speaker 3 (01:10:04):
So I literally like, gotta be the longest twenty minutes
of your life.
Speaker 12 (01:10:08):
Yeah, but he acted normal at first, but I don't
think he wanted his truck damage because I literally fought.
Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
For my life. Did he say anything, No, he just
took me out.
Speaker 12 (01:10:20):
He said, please, don't you know, don't hook.
Speaker 28 (01:10:22):
My truck like I literally.
Speaker 17 (01:10:26):
No.
Speaker 44 (01:10:26):
No.
Speaker 9 (01:10:29):
Did he just drop you off in the middle of nowhere?
He actually took you home.
Speaker 12 (01:10:33):
No, So there was a food line like up the
street and he just took me to the parking lote.
Speaker 16 (01:10:37):
And let me out.
Speaker 5 (01:10:37):
Oh god, no, I mean I'll tell you this, if
you didn't fight, you probably are dead right now, you know.
Speaker 12 (01:10:46):
Oh most definitely, Like it could have been a lot
worse for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:10:50):
I mean, can you imagine, though, you guys, one minute
driving you you're a nice guy, whatever, and then all
of a sudden he's taking you on a completely different
route because he went he's trying to basically traffic you
or do something.
Speaker 7 (01:11:03):
To you exactly.
Speaker 16 (01:11:05):
He was like, oh, this is only gonna be a
couple of minutes, I said, Oh, no, it ain't.
Speaker 29 (01:11:08):
Yeah, this is going to be totally different.
Speaker 3 (01:11:11):
Yeah, that's crazy, man.
Speaker 5 (01:11:13):
I couldn't. I couldn't imagine. All right, all crazy stories.
Speaker 3 (01:11:17):
Man. I'm glad, thank you. I appreciate you.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
I I will tell you that I will think differently
about looking at weather differently because I then looked at
the forecast in the forecast changed once I hit the road,
And if I could have stopped before, like when it
was just flurrying a little bit, honestly, I would have
pulled over and got a room at a Hampton Inn
(01:11:40):
or sat in a Starbucks for like four hours until
the snow completely changed.
Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
But we.
Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
Know I would have been home by that. Because I'm
a trooper. I don't I'm like the I'm like the mailman.
Speaker 11 (01:11:52):
Rain, sleet, snow, white out, conditions, squalls, go.
Speaker 1 (01:12:02):
SNX misting a.
Speaker 2 (01:12:03):

Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
Also some topics that are on the way, and just
a little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
We're gonna start with Shannon here in a second and
her Christmas Day plans that are changing a little bit,
Kevin with being single sucks. And then of course your
chance to grab Santas sack All coming up right here
on the Mojo in the Morning show for a shot
at five thousand dollars cash or lions tickets courtesy of
(01:13:21):
zod Ford and Holly Jolly, Michigan. It's Mojo in the Morning.
I have asked this question numerous times of people Shannon
that are in blended families just like yours, you know,
where they either start dating after a breakup and you
know they got family or they are in your case married.
I'm like, how does the holidays change like and how
(01:13:43):
do you decide whose traditions you take or do you
kind of blend it together? You guys officially are kind
of doing.
Speaker 3 (01:13:49):
That right now.
Speaker 10 (01:13:51):
We had to have a conversation about it over the
weekend because, believe it or not, this Christmas Eve and
Christmas Morning is the very first time that all six
of us will be together.
Speaker 3 (01:14:02):
Let's go.
Speaker 10 (01:14:02):
That's beautiful because last year, the way that Wes my
husband's schedule worked with his ex wife, and my schedule
worked with my ex husband, we didn't have anybody on
Christmas Morning, and remember it was no Anna.
Speaker 9 (01:14:16):
I was so depressed.
Speaker 10 (01:14:16):
Although our listeners did make it so much better because
everybody sent me Christmas cards.
Speaker 9 (01:14:27):
It may sound cheesy, that helped me so much. I
got hundreds of cards.
Speaker 16 (01:14:31):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:14:32):
It was beautiful. Anyway, So this year we're having we're
gonna have everybody.
Speaker 10 (01:14:35):
We're gonna have all four kids, and so Wes and
I had to legitimately have a meeting to talk about
traditions and expectations for all of the kids because we
want it to work and be memorable and comfortable for everybody.
Speaker 9 (01:14:49):
And I think it'll work. It's going to be.
Speaker 10 (01:14:51):
Interesting though, because so for example, Smith is eight, he
all the Christmas magic still exists for him. Okay, my
kids eight and eleven, get a whole bunch of gifts
because they're still little.
Speaker 9 (01:15:06):
They want, you know, the toys and and all of
those things.
Speaker 10 (01:15:10):
Wes's kids are just getting a few gifts because their
gifts are more expensive. So right off the bat, I'm like,
I feel like that might be weird that my kids
are going to be sitting there opening gifts and Samantha
and Kieren are just going to be like sitting watching
them after they open their couple of gifts.
Speaker 5 (01:15:28):
What is the tradition been in your place? And what
has the tradition ben in his As far as which
day did they open the gifts?
Speaker 9 (01:15:35):
All everybody did Christmas Morning?
Speaker 10 (01:15:38):
Okay, but like for example, his kids like their gifts
under the Christmas tree. My kids have different spots in
the house where they were Santa leaves their gifts. My
kids are accustomed to monkey bread and hot chocolate for breakfast.
Have you guys ever had monkey breads?
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
Monkey Bread's great?
Speaker 9 (01:15:58):
Oh my god, it's so good.
Speaker 10 (01:16:00):
Wes makes a full Scottish breakfast for his kid is nasty.
Speaker 9 (01:16:07):
Black pudding like sheep's blood.
Speaker 6 (01:16:11):
Something.
Speaker 9 (01:16:14):
It tastes like dirt. Oh really, yeah, and his kids
love it.
Speaker 10 (01:16:17):
They love that's their tradition that his mom did, like
a full Scottish breakfast.
Speaker 9 (01:16:22):
I'm trying to think of some of these, Like my kids.
Speaker 10 (01:16:25):
Wake up super duper early, and I make them wait
at the top of the stairs until everything's ready and
then they can come down. His kids, thir teenagers, they
wake up at you know, ten o'clock. So I told him,
I'm like, they better set their alarm for six am, because.
Speaker 9 (01:16:38):
That's when we're waiting.
Speaker 10 (01:16:39):
We're gonna we just have to meet in the middle
with a lot of things. Like I said, it'll work.
It was just a lot like we have to do
a lot of planning for I'm making everybody wear matching pajamas.
I thought Kieren, my freshman at Michigan State, was gonna
shoot me. I looked at me, He's like matching pajamas.
I'm like, yes, everybody in my sister's family, my mom,
(01:17:00):
everybody's wearing it for Christmas Eve dinner.
Speaker 3 (01:17:02):
If I'm is his girlfriend coming over? Is she going
to be a part of this whole thing?
Speaker 9 (01:17:05):
He is very single at the moment, Is he okay?
Speaker 5 (01:17:08):
Because I was going to say, could you imagine it's like,
all of a sudden, you're a college. If I told Luke,
imagine you know Luke right like Karen, same age whatever.
If I said to Luke, hey, Luke, I met this
lady and she's making you where Luke would be like,
you're leaving her?
Speaker 3 (01:17:23):
Is that is so okay? So this is neat. So
you guys are gonna do a little bit of each.
Speaker 9 (01:17:28):
Then, right, we're going to try to do all of each.
Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Who's winning you or him?
Speaker 5 (01:17:31):
What do you mean, well, one of you guys obviously
gets a veto power right, usually the vagina.
Speaker 10 (01:17:37):
I mean, truly, we've we've figured out a way. I
think the only thing is I would have to have
my question.
Speaker 9 (01:17:44):
Yeah, I really do.
Speaker 10 (01:17:45):
I think my kids are going to have to I'm
gonna have to try to keep them in bed a
little longer so that my step kids cannot wake up it.
Speaker 6 (01:17:52):
I do feel you have like a little priority because
you still have somebody.
Speaker 3 (01:17:56):
Who's yes very much little Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can
I tell you how I relate to this.
Speaker 5 (01:18:02):
I relate to this as a guy when I got married,
who married a woman who's there in Chelsea's families traditions
way different than ours. We got our gifts on Christmas
Eve night and then Christmas Day we would wake up
and we wouldn't do any toys at all or anything.
We went to church. We went to Mass, or we
(01:18:22):
went to midnight Mass, which was better, and then we
got to sleep in the next day. So that was
kind of our thing that we did. We're in Chelsea's family,
it was completely different, and Chelsea's family was they were
not Catholic, so they had non denominational like Christian Mass
or church, but they would have it during the day
on Christmas Eve, and then Christmas Day was we were
(01:18:43):
at home doing all of our stuff. And that's the
tradition that won because again the vagina wins absolutely well.
But it was interesting.
Speaker 10 (01:18:50):
So the one that isn't working out you mentioned church
is Christmas Eve Church because Wes and his kids have
gone to the same church since the kids were babies,
and my kids have gone to the same church and
me since they were babies. So we are splitting up
for churches, which are kind of socks. But we can't
make it at work with both with doing both at
(01:19:13):
the same time, like they're both at the same time.
Speaker 5 (01:19:14):
So you guys ever done, and I know neither of
you guys are go to Catholic Mass. But have you
guys ever done midnight Mass at Saint Mary's, which is
the school that's over in Orchard Lake, Michigan. We've done
midnight Mass before over at Saint Mary's. And there's something
magical about afterwards going to the grotto that's there and
(01:19:36):
you got the lights and the beautiful decorations and stuff
like that. It almost kind of makes you feel like
you're in like the small town. But it's wild because
we had guests that came into town and that wasn't
that's not our parish that we go to or our
church that we go to, and we took our friends
there because we're gonna do it. And I said to tells,
it was like something out of like the Bells of
(01:19:56):
Saint Mary's or you know, or like a Bing Crosby
type movie. It was something wild about it, magical about it.
Speaker 9 (01:20:02):
We used to do that growing up Cabrini and Allen Park.
Speaker 10 (01:20:05):
Oh yeah, I needed a midnight Mass and so would
always go with my grandmothers and aunts and uncles.
Speaker 3 (01:20:09):
It was so funny.
Speaker 5 (01:20:10):
Here's the thing that I'm really proud of you guys,
that you guys are doing a good job of like
talking about this ahead of time instead of each kind
of because this could cause problems. Like that's honestly, tradition
changes could be because your kids are like, wait a second, No,
this is not how we.
Speaker 10 (01:20:26):
Do think that there's going to It's not going to
go off perfectly, you know what I mean, Like my
kids are going to have thoughts about how it goes,
and West's kids are going to have thoughts about how
it goes. It's not going to be perfect, but we're
trying to just make it comfortable as comfortable for everybody.
Speaker 6 (01:20:42):
El speak traditions.
Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
Yeah, hey Gana, what's up?
Speaker 15 (01:20:46):
Hey, good morning guys.
Speaker 45 (01:20:48):
One thing that Shannon could do for the older kids
since they have left to open is do like a
scavenger hunt. My mom did this once before, and she
hid cards throughout the house and I had to wait.
Speaker 16 (01:20:59):
To get each car, and she hid the big gifts.
Speaker 45 (01:21:02):
In like a certain place and I had to keep
finding the cards in order to get the big gift.
Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
That's that's kind of cool. Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 5 (01:21:10):
What if your kids are lazy like my kids like
scavengers schma, Yeah, I think you know it's funny is
that you talk about the difference in in holidays and
stuff in ours is going to be different because you know,
we're not going to have all the boys on Christmas Day.
We're going to actually do a Christmas week ahead of
time with every one of the boys there. And here's
(01:21:31):
the deal. The day of Christmas is wonderful and it's
going to be different for everybody, right.
Speaker 4 (01:21:37):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:21:38):
The thing, it's how you make it, you know.
Speaker 5 (01:21:40):
And I think that the awesome part of the holidays
is the blessing that you get to actually spend time
with those that you love, because there are those families
that their loved ones either are gone, you know, they passed,
or they're like serving our country in another country, you know,
or another place around the world world.
Speaker 3 (01:22:01):
So I mean, I don't know. I think this is
a this is cool.
Speaker 5 (01:22:04):
I'm trying to basically give you things to say to
your kids when kids are like when Smith goes.
Speaker 28 (01:22:08):
He didn't do it.
Speaker 3 (01:22:09):
It's seven am, and I want Sanah, he is going
to be clamoring. Have him just go into Karen and
Samantha's rooms and jump on their beds.
Speaker 10 (01:22:17):
Yeah, because Karen's in the basement, so that means he'd
have to pass through Santa's Santa's stuff.
Speaker 25 (01:22:22):
What's up, Kim, Good morning, Shannon.
Speaker 23 (01:22:26):
I have the same age gap with my kids. We
have an eight year old, a sixteen year old, and
a nineteen year old, and we say that the elves
have a budget, and my eight year old straight up
looked at her brother and goes, you would get more
presents if you didn't ask for any baseball glove and
gat and then walk away and trust her hair she gets.
So it does work. But on the sleeping in thing,
(01:22:48):
we told her eight am. Because my nineteen year old
looked at me and I was like, I'm not getting
up at six. We said the am, everybody. I feel
like that's a fair fear compromise.
Speaker 17 (01:23:00):
There was.
Speaker 5 (01:23:00):
There was nothing better though, than when the kids were
so little and they would come and jump on your bed.
Speaker 3 (01:23:06):
We gotta wake up, we gotta wake up. I love that, Evelyn.
What's up?
Speaker 15 (01:23:11):
Good morning guys?
Speaker 4 (01:23:12):
That holidays Christmas?
Speaker 35 (01:23:14):
Hey.
Speaker 16 (01:23:15):
So one thing you can do, Shannon is like take
the gifts and rep its a a.
Speaker 12 (01:23:18):
Bunch of times and a bunch of in the rapid papers,
make a harm for them to.
Speaker 3 (01:23:22):
Get to it.
Speaker 27 (01:23:23):
And they had second their last caller I heard her
say that she had.
Speaker 42 (01:23:26):
A nineteen year old and you know, and I heard
you say that, you know they got to wait until
everybody wakes up.
Speaker 37 (01:23:31):
No, I have a nineteen year old and I have
three little ones.
Speaker 17 (01:23:34):
Once they get up, the nineteen year old have to get.
Speaker 3 (01:23:36):
Up, as will sleep.
Speaker 16 (01:23:39):
Everybody got to get up once the kids get up
to Santa.
Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Can this is our house? Yeah, I agree, there's no delay.
Speaker 15 (01:23:45):
Get up from Matha, get up.
Speaker 9 (01:23:49):
Everybody.
Speaker 3 (01:23:50):
Thank you for the call. What's up, Courtney?
Speaker 37 (01:23:52):
Hi?
Speaker 24 (01:23:53):
Hey, good morning?
Speaker 26 (01:23:54):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
We're good? What's going on?
Speaker 25 (01:23:57):
Not much?
Speaker 42 (01:23:58):
Hey?
Speaker 24 (01:23:58):
So I was just gonna letch you and a note.
Speaker 32 (01:24:00):
Maybe instead of changing things crazily, we can wake the
younger kids up, let them get up early as they
are used to, and then the older let them start
opening gifts when they wake up, and maybe do like
a breakfast intermission, keep a few gifts for when the.
Speaker 16 (01:24:17):
Older kids wake up.
Speaker 32 (01:24:18):
Maybe not let them sleep into like ten or eleven,
but maybe like an eight or nine is fair, and
then they can finish opening their gifts altogether.
Speaker 3 (01:24:26):
That's not like I really enjoy thank you for the call.
Speaker 11 (01:24:31):
I really enjoy I really enjoyed the fact that you
all are starting something new. This is the first time
everybody's going to be together, and everybody should experience everything
at the same time. Like that's why everybody's there is
to be together. They can wake up a couple of
hours early, they'll be okay, I agree with that the
collor prior, they said, and then they go back to bed.
V one what's up page?
Speaker 3 (01:24:54):
Good morning morning?
Speaker 27 (01:24:57):
Okay, sorry, I'm calling you from Windsor first.
Speaker 3 (01:25:02):
Okay, do you.
Speaker 5 (01:25:03):
Guys celebrate Christmas and windsor what do you guys celebrate
over there?
Speaker 23 (01:25:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 27 (01:25:08):
Okay the other day because I saw someone thinks we
don't speak English over here.
Speaker 18 (01:25:12):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:25:13):
Whatever. I was born in California, so you.
Speaker 5 (01:25:17):
Know what's interesting about that. I remember as a little kid,
I used to follow where Santa was around the country.
Does Santa come to Canada or the United States?
Speaker 3 (01:25:24):
First? Where does he go? First? YouTube? And then starts
funny what's up Page?
Speaker 16 (01:25:31):
Shannon?
Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
I have a.
Speaker 15 (01:25:32):
Suggestion for you.
Speaker 19 (01:25:33):
So I have a rule in my house, and my
kids trust me.
Speaker 7 (01:25:36):
The older their kids, the more.
Speaker 29 (01:25:38):
I got this gaming chair that cost me an armoral leg.
Speaker 2 (01:25:41):
For my son.
Speaker 4 (01:25:42):
But I have a rule.
Speaker 27 (01:25:44):
If my son has my daughter has ten gifts. My
son has ten.
Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
Gifts, okay, but his gaming chair nine hundred dollars. He
ain't getting nothing else.
Speaker 6 (01:25:53):
But I will be going to like the dollar.
Speaker 27 (01:25:57):
Store and finding his favorite candy and that will be
wrapped because we all open one gift at a time
and then spend all that time rapping and figuring out
what to buy.
Speaker 7 (01:26:07):
So your older kids.
Speaker 27 (01:26:08):
If your younger kids have ten gifts and the daughter
has ten gifts, and I understand that the older ones
are more money, they might only have three, you need
to make it equal. Everybody gets ten, So you need
to go to the dollar store.
Speaker 16 (01:26:20):
You need to go get the kids.
Speaker 27 (01:26:27):
First.
Speaker 9 (01:26:27):
Yeah, they can get up first and organize.
Speaker 36 (01:26:31):
He's going to organize all the presents in order.
Speaker 3 (01:26:34):
You actual.
Speaker 37 (01:26:36):
He counts them yet because we open one out of time, okay,
whole city told.
Speaker 9 (01:26:41):
Me that they did that. I was like, that is
that is not happening. We will be here till five.
Speaker 19 (01:26:45):
O'clock because I want to see what they got.
Speaker 3 (01:26:48):
They're like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 29 (01:26:49):
You opened the most expensive presents first and I didn't
even see you opening.
Speaker 23 (01:26:53):
I begin to see your reactions.
Speaker 27 (01:26:54):
So we stopped letting them open them all together.
Speaker 16 (01:26:56):
We do one at a time.
Speaker 27 (01:26:58):
You only have four, I know, and then parents were.
Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
Lost Page one. I want to see page What we
do in our house.
Speaker 5 (01:27:06):
We give the kids that we like the most the
most gifts, and then the kid that we really didn't want,
that we should have given up for adoption.
Speaker 9 (01:27:14):
What's wrong with we call him?
Speaker 3 (01:27:16):
We call him, we give him blend.
Speaker 7 (01:27:21):
No, her family's blended.
Speaker 3 (01:27:23):
Now, you know what, Listen, I think.
Speaker 5 (01:27:25):
I think the thing that's cool got to be cool,
and it's got to be a pain in the ass sometimes,
but but it's got to also be cool. I would
think that there's a lot of things that Karen and
Samantha have to deal with that they're probably like, God,
you know what I don't deal is Christmas, though, is
about young kids and the idea that they get to
experience a little bit of Smith's magic that he has.
Speaker 3 (01:27:48):
I think would be kind of cool.
Speaker 9 (01:27:49):
Again, I am soaking up this magic.
Speaker 5 (01:27:52):
I think it's great because you never know when it's gone.
So I would bet that they would be you know,
and if you and if they were part of it,
you know what I mean, where you could say to them, hey,
I want you to help me with this or whatever.
The deal is and make it part. That would be
such a cool, you know, sibling thing to do. You
know it's gonna be great this year. I remember my
(01:28:12):
brother telling me that my dad told him Christmas stops
for you when it stops for Tommy. And so my
brother was the greatest at keeping things nice and magical. Yeah,
because he knew.
Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
It was all over.
Speaker 5 (01:28:31):
He was probably kicked out of the house. All right, Uh,
all right, we any more of these or no, we're done,
We're done. All right, here we go push this bud.
Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Is the season for some mojo follow La La La
La La La.
Speaker 3 (01:28:47):
Is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (01:28:50):
Hey, if you're not getting a call back after you've
been on a date, we're going to find out why.
It's second update.
Speaker 4 (01:28:56):
It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (01:28:59):
Hazel getting ghosted. I love that name, Hazel, I love
your name. And Hazel, what'd you guys do?
Speaker 14 (01:29:08):
Hey?
Speaker 19 (01:29:08):
Thank you so much so me we went on this date.
Speaker 46 (01:29:13):
We just went to a bar.
Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
Okay, and how did you guys meet?
Speaker 5 (01:29:17):
We met on hinge Okay, and now one date later,
he's not calling you back or he's not trying to
plan another date.
Speaker 46 (01:29:27):
Yeah, it's kind of really weird. I thought we had
a really good time, but he just hasn't answered.
Speaker 16 (01:29:32):
In my text.
Speaker 3 (01:29:33):
How did you guys say goodbye to each other after
your date was over with?
Speaker 46 (01:29:38):
I mean, it wasn't like a huge like makeout sessh
or anything like that. It was just kind of like
a simple, like hug goodbye. I don't always kiss on
the first date, so it didn't seem weird to me,
but it was just a nice hug goodbye, and then
we left and that was it.
Speaker 5 (01:29:52):
All right, Well, we're going to find out what's going
on Jason's on with us? Hazel say hi to Jason.
Speaker 4 (01:29:59):
Hi, a good morning.
Speaker 3 (01:30:05):
Jason. You sound like a nice guy. I'm sure that
you are. Hazel seemed to like you.
Speaker 5 (01:30:10):
We're just trying to figure out if we can match
you guys up for another date and do a second
date and we'll take care of it, or if there's
not going to be a second date.
Speaker 3 (01:30:19):
We wanted to kind of figure out why that was.
What's what's going on?
Speaker 2 (01:30:24):
Uh?
Speaker 4 (01:30:25):
I listen it is.
Speaker 36 (01:30:27):
It was a nice first date, but I'm.
Speaker 3 (01:30:30):
Okay, what was it that made it that you don't
want to do another date? Are you just a busy guy,
or it seems like she's a busy girl.
Speaker 40 (01:30:45):
Is there there is a weird There is a weird part.
The date was fine, it was nice, it was nice.
But at a point she starts showing me this list
that she had like ready on her phone of all
the guys that she's hooked up with before, and it's
(01:31:07):
it's like details and charting, and it was just a
bit much.
Speaker 9 (01:31:12):
How did that come up? Why did that come up?
Speaker 14 (01:31:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 46 (01:31:18):
No, no, no, You're you're making it sound like I'm
glad you asked that. You're making it sound like I
just showed you out of the blue just because I
wanted to, or I thought it was fun. You asked me,
You straight up asked me how many people I had
been with before? So I didn't just pull this out
out of nowhere.
Speaker 5 (01:31:34):
So wait, so he asked you that, and what in Hazel,
what did you do? And he asked you that you
went to your phone and you actually.
Speaker 46 (01:31:43):
Well, he asked me how many people that I'd been
with and I told him the number and he seemed
really like blown away by that and was really upset,
and I was like, oh yeah, let me like, I
don't know, anybody that's asked me before, I just show
them this list. It's like me and my girlfriends do
the same thing. So I didn't think it was a
huge deal. So I pulled up my phone and I said, yeah,
(01:32:04):
I have a list of everybody that I keep on
my phone, and I showed him because he wanted to
know like details about it.
Speaker 9 (01:32:10):
After I told him the number, are.
Speaker 3 (01:32:11):
You comfortable with sharing the number?
Speaker 2 (01:32:15):
Uh?
Speaker 29 (01:32:15):
Yeah, it's it's fifteen, So that's I mean.
Speaker 8 (01:32:18):
Are you off put by the number? Did you think
the list was weird? Because a little bit both.
Speaker 40 (01:32:25):
Honestly, the numbers a little high. The list also had
like it's like details and.
Speaker 1 (01:32:32):
It was ready.
Speaker 3 (01:32:33):
It's like locations.
Speaker 8 (01:32:35):
To me, that's being a little bit responsible though, because
when it comes to partners and who knows if somebody
had something and then.
Speaker 9 (01:32:43):
You know, I get that, but you're not sharing that
with somebody out that you're on a date.
Speaker 46 (01:32:49):
Right, But he asked, right, No, exactly, he asked, and
I's that's exactly right. I keep it for those kind
of medical purposes or incidents. If something happened, I can
go back and say, Okay, this happened on this date.
Maybe it's this person I should.
Speaker 3 (01:33:03):
Contact that maybe, Hazel. What's in what's in the specifics?
Speaker 46 (01:33:09):
Well, it's like, okay, it's it's like where it happened,
the person's name, their phone number, the date that it happened.
Speaker 29 (01:33:20):
I U Okay.
Speaker 46 (01:33:21):
When I was younger, I used to do like a
score on out of ten.
Speaker 3 (01:33:26):
So there's a couple of those, how would you rank
rank them score wise? What was the score?
Speaker 38 (01:33:30):
Four?
Speaker 46 (01:33:31):
Just like how much I enjoyed it?
Speaker 3 (01:33:32):
Okay, but that was that was a while ago.
Speaker 46 (01:33:35):
That was like the first couple of people that I
was like, oh, let me do this, and then I
was like, that's a little immature.
Speaker 37 (01:33:40):
Let me let me stop doing that.
Speaker 46 (01:33:41):
But it's more just like where it happened, what day
it happened, and what if we were on our second date,
third date, ten state, whatever it is.
Speaker 5 (01:33:48):
Can I just throw this out there, Jason, I don't
think that first off, it seems like fifteen is a
big number. I don't you know, think that that seems
very high. But also she didn't like make out with
you on the first date. She talked about that when
she was talking to us, where she said that she
doesn't do that in the first date. So this doesn't
sound like a girl that is out there, you know,
(01:34:09):
doing a bunch of crazy stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:34:12):
Yeah, she's not. She's not ho ho ho in around.
You know what I mean. I don't anything wrong with dishonestly, No,
I think what she's doing is good. I actually think
that I would.
Speaker 10 (01:34:19):
Want to think that this conversation, though, should even happen
on a first date.
Speaker 3 (01:34:23):
So how many people have been with No, Yeah, I don't.
So you say he shouldn't have asked her.
Speaker 10 (01:34:31):
Even if he asked her, which obviously he did, like
that would be My response is like, I don't.
Speaker 9 (01:34:37):
I don't I want to get to know you. I don't, like,
that's just not something I need to know right away.
Speaker 5 (01:34:42):
I think though, that that's one of those questions in
conversation that could come up. It doesn't have to be
that you get specific, but hey, how I think, Yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (01:34:51):
Mean, I don't know.
Speaker 10 (01:34:52):
I just don't think that's a first date convo. I
think it's an important convo to have, you know, at.
Speaker 5 (01:34:57):
Some point interesting Like I always think that that's like
an interesting topic in itself. And I don't think you
should ever judge a person based.
Speaker 10 (01:35:05):
On high or low in numbers, and but I think
the problem is you do like Wes. I've known him
for how many years? I still don't know his number,
and I think that I would be very put off
if I did know his number, because I know it's
not good.
Speaker 9 (01:35:18):
And if that was one of the first would be though,
what do you mean high or low?
Speaker 6 (01:35:23):
High?
Speaker 10 (01:35:23):
I think his number is high, And had that been
one of the first things that I found out about him,
I probably would have been like, yeah, not for.
Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
Me, you were You've always on the show whenever the
numbers have come up, You've always been I will never
share my.
Speaker 10 (01:35:35):
Number at all, and I don't think, to be fair,
my number is not too low and it's definitely not
too high.
Speaker 9 (01:35:40):
I think my number is pretty normal.
Speaker 5 (01:35:43):
You feel like that the number is a very personal
thing that you don't want to Yeah, yes, how soon
into a relationship would you share it?
Speaker 9 (01:35:50):
I mean we've we've never shared.
Speaker 3 (01:35:52):
Shared, asked Wes and he just says, oh.
Speaker 9 (01:35:55):
I've asked him multiple multiple times.
Speaker 3 (01:35:58):
Honestly, I will tell you this.
Speaker 5 (01:36:00):
I think that you know, most people would expect that
most guys numbers would be high numbers. Myself and a
lot of my friends, our numbers are not high. I mean,
I met Chelsea early in my life, but I got it.
But I also think that there are some girls that
look at you with a low number and think that
a low number is awkward. But Jeff, what do you
want to say about Hazel and Jason here?
Speaker 18 (01:36:22):
Well, I just wanted to say that's a good girl
right there, because that's a low number.
Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:36:27):
Well, I mean, and I'm no judging on people with
a higher number, but that is interesting that you would
actually be happy with a fifteen for a number.
Speaker 18 (01:36:35):
Well, I mean, in reality, the numbers really matter as
long as a man or a woman takes care of himself.
Speaker 9 (01:36:41):
Right, But that's exactly my point is we are all
we all just did it. We all judged low high. Yeah,
all right, Like it's just it. It is a natural
thing that we do.
Speaker 11 (01:36:50):
You don't want to blue out box and you want
to make sure that the six degrees of separation is
particularly who's in the numbers.
Speaker 3 (01:36:58):
I'd be looking up.
Speaker 9 (01:36:59):
Names, and I think a more important conversation.
Speaker 10 (01:37:02):
And again, I don't think it should happen on a
first date unless you're having sex on a first date.
Is like the disease conversation is an important conversation. Whether
you've had sex with one person or one hundred, that's
an important conversation to have.
Speaker 11 (01:37:14):
Ever know where the conversation can go on a first
date and if the vibe is the vibe, like maybe
you don't intend to even have sex on a first date,
but the vibe goes a certain way and that's what
end up happens. The same thing can go for conversation.
I like the conversation. I just think it's interesting, what
do you do sex?
Speaker 4 (01:37:30):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:37:30):
But I also like the fact that she didn't have
sex with him on the first date. Yeah, I like that.
Speaker 5 (01:37:35):
Yeah, what's up, Miranda, Hey guys, good morning, Good morning Miranda.
Speaker 7 (01:37:42):
I don't know, I kind of feel.
Speaker 36 (01:37:44):
Like sometimes and it might not be the case right
now in this situation, but.
Speaker 26 (01:37:48):
A lot of guys I talk well, I don't feel
like a lot of.
Speaker 28 (01:37:50):
Women ask men that. I feel like men ask women
more often, and I don't know why. I again, like
Shannon just made a great point. Whether it's one or
one hundred, like the odd you know, that risk of
dise whatever could still be there. I feel like it
was kind of maybe just asked not necessarily to judge her,
but maybe like was looking for a hug up and
(01:38:13):
it's like, oh, well, that's too many people for me.
Speaker 9 (01:38:14):
I'm not gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:38:17):
You know, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:38:18):
I've got girlfriends that are single and the only number
they care about is four to oh one k.
Speaker 3 (01:38:26):
They don't care about any others.
Speaker 5 (01:38:28):
But I also do think that in Hazel's case, I
think it's pretty cool that she actually saves a lot
of this stuff, and I think it's good for her
to make sure that she's doing it in a way
that makes her happy. And who gives her ass ass
if she's even graydon or whatever. If I'm Jason, I'm
worried that I'm gonna be a bad grade. What's going on?
(01:38:50):
How you doing?
Speaker 3 (01:38:50):
Sam? All right?
Speaker 4 (01:38:53):
I want to say a couple of pigs?
Speaker 3 (01:38:55):
Yes, well what? And I hope you guys are doing well?
Thank you.
Speaker 44 (01:39:00):
I mean, honestly, it sounds like you might be one
of those guys that no matter what the number is,
it's gonna bother you. And that's okay, but just don't ask.
You know, you gotta go into a situation telling yourself
that you don't want to know, because if you find out,
you might feel some type of way and call it off.
Speaker 3 (01:39:20):
So don't ask is one and then and then two?
Speaker 44 (01:39:24):
You know, I am really proud of Hazel for having it,
you know, because Jason, the last thing you want is
to be with the girl who tells you, oh, I
don't know how many pardners but exactly, or someone that
lies about it. And and but honestly, Jason, you know,
(01:39:46):
the last thing I'll say is I mean, I get
it from where it's to give you the benefit of
the doubt.
Speaker 47 (01:39:52):
You know, if if she's.
Speaker 44 (01:39:53):
Twenty, maybe to you think maybe you you interpreted fifteen,
A's like wow, okay, you know, high school, college.
Speaker 18 (01:40:02):
You know, you had a lot of partners.
Speaker 44 (01:40:03):
If she's younger, but especially if she's you know, older,
Like if you do get told the number.
Speaker 5 (01:40:08):
Keep that in mind, you know, like, yeah, it'll how
old are you, Hazel twenty nine years old, twenty nine
years old?
Speaker 3 (01:40:16):
Fifteen? I don't think that that seems like a huge number.
I really don't. I was on a day with a
girl and song she said fifty fifty. Why don't you respond?
So he was fifty one one exactly.
Speaker 10 (01:40:32):
I throw by, but they're high fiving in the studio.
You can't see unless you're watching I throw.
Speaker 2 (01:40:41):
This is a home of a Dirty on the thirdy
f backro down second data more than Roses.
Speaker 1 (01:40:46):
This is Module in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (01:40:50):
You know, I know you, Dirty Dog. You coming up
next her on the show. Right after the Dirty keV
is very sad that he's single.
Speaker 9 (01:41:03):
That actually is the topic that I'm talking about too.
Speaker 5 (01:41:07):
Right now, Grab Santa Sack eight four or four Mojo
Live ninety fifth Collar gets a chance to reach inside
and grab your share of five thousand dollars allions tickets.
Speaker 4 (01:41:16):
Jo in the Mornings, Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 5 (01:41:18):
You know we're all dressed up today. We've got somewhere
nice to go after the show. I'm not dressed up
well enough. I gotta be honest with change. Shannon and
I look like we are ready for a business meeting today.
You look like you're ready to go back to bed.
I have a collar shirt on. I thought I got
collar shirt and sways.
Speaker 9 (01:41:41):
I love that you came in and you asked Moji.
Speaker 10 (01:41:43):
You're like, do you think that this is appropriate as
it gonna you know, be okay for where we're going,
and he goes, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:41:50):
Know, Jesus, the food better be worth it, Shannon with
what's training.
Speaker 10 (01:41:55):
Can't believe it's taking me this long in the show
to get to talking about schil Moore. We've just been
so busy with it. Everything that rang.
Speaker 3 (01:42:01):
In on Friday.
Speaker 5 (01:42:01):
By the way, can I say something, It ain't longer
than ninety seven one did on Friday. I'm listening to
ninety seven to one and I don't know, I'm gonna
judge you ninety seven to one. There's a sports station
in Detroit and I know that they're on now I
guess in West Michigan. I ain't listening to them for sports.
That's the that's topic gay And I was listening to
uh Gator and what's the other guy's name, whatever his
(01:42:24):
name is, he's he's the voice of Michigan football. And
they did not talk about that story at all on Friday.
And the guy is getting arraigned at the moment that
they're doing this, and they're talking about the Tigers and
are they going to resign?
Speaker 9 (01:42:37):
This arrament was weird and im and.
Speaker 5 (01:42:39):
I'm sitting there thinking to myself, maybe because he's the
voice of the Michigan wil rains, he's not talking about it,
and he can't talk about it. Pull his ass off
the air and put somebody in there that can't talk
about it. Because as a fan, that's all I wanted
to hear on Friday was what's going on and what
kind of a sentence he's gonna do.
Speaker 10 (01:42:54):
Why I watched the arrayment because you could watch it.
I mean he was in this like little teeny tiny
closet cell, you know, in white top, white bottoms, handcuffs on.
But anyway, Charon Moore spotted yesterday the first time he
was seen since his shocking arrest last week. No, he
was with his wife and his youngest daughter. I didn't
realize his youngest daughter is like in a like a
(01:43:15):
baby baby and she was pushing a stroller.
Speaker 3 (01:43:17):
But did she let him come home?
Speaker 14 (01:43:19):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (01:43:20):
Yeah, So the married dad of three has been keeping
a very low profile after spending those two nights in
Washington County jail after going on a rampage really following
his dismissal from the University of Michigan, but slipped out
of the courtroom past all of the media that was
waiting there on Friday. Following his raiment. He has been
at home with his wife and kids. I know there
were a lot of rumors that were flying around over
(01:43:41):
the weekend about how right off the bat. At five
point fifty pm on Friday, he was dming that OnlyFans
model Mia Siretti about why the crap were you talking
about our relationship to the media. She was sharing screenshots
with TMZ and Page and anybody else.
Speaker 4 (01:44:01):
I hear that.
Speaker 3 (01:44:03):
She said that was somebody that was part of her camp.
Speaker 9 (01:44:07):
That uh no, so that part I heard was true.
Speaker 10 (01:44:10):
The story that I heard was false that was going
around was that he had offered her tickets in exchange
for a foursome with two other OnlyFans models.
Speaker 9 (01:44:20):
She said that she did tell TMZ that is absolutely
not true.
Speaker 3 (01:44:24):
How good were the seats? I don't know. I mean,
can I tell you what.
Speaker 5 (01:44:28):
Nowadays, with the Internet, you don't have to verify anything,
and there's so much crap that's out there.
Speaker 9 (01:44:34):
But yeah, so the messages were true. Now a couple
of other things.
Speaker 10 (01:44:37):
So there are two people who are meeting with the
firm that the University of Michigan is using to find
their next head football coach. One of them is Missouri's
Eli Drinkwitz. The second is Arizona State's Kenny Dillingham, and
he was actually talking over the weekend about the rumor
that he's one of the two.
Speaker 31 (01:44:58):
That's one of the best programs in the country, it's
one of the most it's one of the best goals
in the country. I think everybody can agree there Today's Sarah.
I think it's one of the best jobs in the country,
and I think everybody can attest to that. That doesn't
change how I feel about here. That doesn't change that
my sister's my neighbor. That doesn't change that my parents
lift three doors down. That doesn't change that my son's
best friend is my sister's daughter. So none of that changes.
(01:45:20):
But it is one of the best jobs in America's
a unbelievable brand, iconic brand, and it's a great opportunity
for somebody.
Speaker 5 (01:45:26):
Can I tell you that ESPN is now reporting that
the university has hired a outside firm to investigate the
athletic department and some of the improprieties that are going
on there. If there were some sexual improprieties also in
other parts of the athletic department. I wonder if that's
(01:45:47):
because they're building some kind of a case to fire
the athletic director. There's something that tells me that manuals yeah,
that potentially that's the case, because there's been a lot
of rumors of why, you know, he still has a job,
But part of me wonders if maybe they have to
build a case to be able to do that. I
don't know, it's crazy, but when I looked and watched
(01:46:11):
that arraignment and saw Sharone Moore sitting there in the
white jumpsuit, you know now they're video camera and he's
sitting there looking like all scared and stuff. I'm thinking
to myself, a month ago, this guy was living his
best life, right. He was about ready to go into
an Ohio State game where potentially, if he wins that game,
he has now just beat them three times. And now
(01:46:33):
this guy is wondering where he's going to be making
a living because he ain't getting back into coaching. There's
no way he's I can't imagine he'll even get a
coordinator job or even a high school football coaching job
after this.
Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
It's crazy.
Speaker 10 (01:46:47):
By the way, did you guys hear the story about
the famous brown jug in ann ar But it's like
a really restaurant restaurant. I think they may have changed
it already, but over the weekend people were taking We're
going there and taking photo and sharing on social media
that you can order the Sharon Moore sampler basket and
the Paige Shiver cauliflower gluten free twelve inch pizza. Paige
(01:47:08):
Cyber famous the alleged name of the girl he had,
the staff member he had an affair with. Everybody was I.
Speaker 5 (01:47:16):
Feel for the families and the coaches that are assistant
coaches that have been there that are going to be
effected by this, that were the ones that had to
endure this guy not being able to keep his deck
in his pants, you know what I mean, and the
problems that he he kind of caused for all those guys.
And now I saw that they lost a three star
(01:47:37):
and a four star they said last week that have
decided to change their thoughts on going to University of Michigan.
They're going to probably lose a ton of players off this.
Speaker 10 (01:47:46):
Okay, Trey Songs finding himself in the dirty for not
a good reason. He was in police custody early yesterday
morning after a night out in New York City took
a turn and turned early violent. According to authorities, Trey
was arrested following an alteration at a Manhattan nightclub. There
was a fight outside of the club. At some point
tensions escalated. Trey's songs allegedly struck this employee, prompting somebody
(01:48:12):
to call the police, so he was taken into custody
at the scene. He was immediately charged with assault, adding
yet another legal issue to a career that has seen
multiple run ins with the law over the years, including
at one of our shows.
Speaker 9 (01:48:28):
You're in Detroit? Was it the microphone or the speaker?
What did he throw?
Speaker 3 (01:48:32):
He threw speakers and he threw he.
Speaker 9 (01:48:34):
Throw a microphone at Yeah, he threw something at somebody.
Speaker 5 (01:48:37):
It was at our big show that was, yes, at
Little Caesar's or No, is that back of the Joe,
wasn't it?
Speaker 3 (01:48:41):
I think Joe Days?
Speaker 4 (01:48:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (01:48:43):
Yeah, So this incident is under investigation.
Speaker 3 (01:48:47):
Big show, it the Joe? What a great name that was?
Where's way Han? Nikki give me the Nicki? And then
Osbern Can I get that?
Speaker 9 (01:48:55):
Can I get Can I get that?
Speaker 17 (01:48:57):
Can I get that?
Speaker 1 (01:48:58):
Mother?
Speaker 9 (01:48:58):
You know one of our talkbots?
Speaker 46 (01:48:59):
Can I get told?
Speaker 12 (01:49:00):
Around that?
Speaker 4 (01:49:01):
Tray? I was like, Yo, Trey, do you think you
good bye?
Speaker 2 (01:49:04):
Me?
Speaker 9 (01:49:05):
About Hello?
Speaker 24 (01:49:05):
Roday.
Speaker 9 (01:49:06):
Okay, let's get it down drive time for two more
stories or no piece to the b yet to the tent,
trying to get killed on the stuff. Double out of
money done? Ye then ye, then give a little bit
of me.
Speaker 3 (01:49:21):
I'm sorry, I'm You're such a lady.
Speaker 9 (01:49:23):
I've got your money.
Speaker 2 (01:49:25):
You know.
Speaker 9 (01:49:25):
Swim baby and weep be too, wins what a great.
Speaker 16 (01:49:30):
Kids need.
Speaker 4 (01:49:31):
Put the babies out.
Speaker 9 (01:49:32):
And the baby yelling around the world.
Speaker 27 (01:49:35):
Do you hear me?
Speaker 23 (01:49:37):
Do you like my body and a Nikki Western piece
and a Cole Smith Yes, my dear es.
Speaker 4 (01:49:42):
So it's slow SIPs.
Speaker 21 (01:49:43):
Say hi to Mary, Mary and joll sap Now a
bottom top and double my dog.
Speaker 3 (01:49:47):
Shout out to Mary and Joseph.
Speaker 9 (01:49:49):
That's right, Christmas, Amen, Happy Honicah. By the way, today's
shout out to Leady go God. You want to show
in Sydney, Australia. I think it was final show of
the year.
Speaker 3 (01:50:01):
Two.
Speaker 10 (01:50:01):
She had to stop the show after one of the
dancers literally slid across the stage because it was raining
so hard.
Speaker 5 (01:50:10):
Okay, everybody to bear with us tonight with the label
turn a lot of dancing epistles.
Speaker 10 (01:50:19):
A slip the slow stop the show for five minutes
so all the dancers could go get different shoes on,
and that crazy slid right off the damn stage.
Speaker 3 (01:50:27):
Equal opportunity.
Speaker 4 (01:50:28):
Raw.
Speaker 10 (01:50:38):
Lastly, I feel like I'm ending it on a rot
note the Lions Rams yesterday, the Rams with that forty
thirty four when it punched the Rams ticket back to
the PO to the postseason.
Speaker 3 (01:50:55):
But he's so good by the way, Stafford, Absolutely, you know, up.
Speaker 30 (01:51:00):
And do not go numb to the losing. All right,
Staph and I are, We're gonna come in. We're going
to watch this thing together tomorrow, all of us in
all three phases, watch everything top down, the players, ourselves,
you know, and make those corrections and then move on.
And and it's simple as going back to work. And
we got to get better with Pittsburgh coming into town.
(01:51:21):
We got played better. And now we know it's me
in the back of the you know, now you have
first knowledge of what you know what probably the top
of the NFC looks like right now, that's that's them,
you know. And so now you know, you know what
it looks like, you know what it is. And we're
not there right now, coach. Doesn't mean we can't be.
Speaker 5 (01:51:39):
But now we know what it looks like, coach, Coach, coach,
so disappointing. These are the losses against teams that we
should have beat. Now we're coming back by this in
the ass. But I do think, Coach, we need to
bring up the fact that the referees called one penalty
against the Rams. Again, the NFL does not like the Lions,
and I'm not going to use that is my only
(01:52:00):
excuse Dan and his team. You know, they they weren't
ready to play the second half of that game. They
did not make adjustments to play like they did in
the first half. But the fact that they got their
first penalty on a I'm a Ross Saint Brown pass
interference call with like twenty seconds left in the game
or whatever however that was, and I don't know when
(01:52:21):
it was, that was the only penalty they had the
whole game, and that guy was down on the two
yard line and they caught it a touchdown. The NFL
needs to be investigated. Can we get the Michigan people
investigating the athletic department to investigate the NFL.
Speaker 10 (01:52:39):
Now back to you, Shan if you miss anything from today,
so you can go back and listen to the podcast
on the Free iHeart Radio AP celebrity.
Speaker 4 (01:52:46):
Jerk Most in the Morning, the thirty.
Speaker 5 (01:52:54):
You're called, I would like to grab the referee sack
instead of grab Santa Sack, holding tights like a mafia
member and say.
Speaker 3 (01:53:06):
Where are the calls against that team?
Speaker 4 (01:53:08):
Joe?
Speaker 3 (01:53:09):
Could you imagine what that'd be great? I'll let you
do that. You better holding them tight? All right? Right there?
What's going on? How you doing, Rita? Rita?
Speaker 5 (01:53:24):
We only have five more shows left and then we're
done for twenty twenty five four and a half.
Speaker 3 (01:53:29):
How you doing, Rita?
Speaker 16 (01:53:30):
Bye?
Speaker 3 (01:53:31):
Good?
Speaker 18 (01:53:31):
Are you longtime listeners?
Speaker 23 (01:53:33):
First?
Speaker 28 (01:53:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:53:37):
Yeah, Rita? We love you. Are you ready to grab
some money? I sure am.
Speaker 4 (01:53:42):
Let's do it.
Speaker 3 (01:53:43):
There we go.
Speaker 39 (01:53:46):
It's time to reach into Santa Sack with Mojo.
Speaker 4 (01:53:50):
In the morning.
Speaker 3 (01:53:53):
Rita, when is the last time that you grabbed a sack?
Speaker 18 (01:53:59):
It's been a long time.
Speaker 3 (01:54:01):
Do you still got it?
Speaker 16 (01:54:04):
I think so.
Speaker 5 (01:54:06):
I gotta be honest with you, Rita. You sound like
a sweetheart that needs a big making a lot of money.
Are you going for the money? You're going for the
Lion's tickets?
Speaker 16 (01:54:14):
You know what, I'm a big time lion span I'll
be happy either way, all right, I like it.
Speaker 11 (01:54:18):
All right, here we go reach inside and let's grab something,
all right, kay, let's go.
Speaker 39 (01:54:26):
It won't be a silent night tonight. Two hundred and
twenty two.
Speaker 3 (01:54:32):
Dollars, Rita, you got the money.
Speaker 5 (01:54:39):
Congratulations too, two two dollars. And you know what the
numbers twos I think are lucky numbers.
Speaker 3 (01:54:46):
So to to to two two. Congrat me.
Speaker 9 (01:54:49):
Yeah, I hope.
Speaker 19 (01:54:50):
So, thank you very much.
Speaker 5 (01:54:51):
I wish you nothing but the very merriest of Christmas.
I love you so much for listening to the show,
and thank you for having us on every morning.
Speaker 18 (01:55:00):
I do every day, listen every morning.
Speaker 5 (01:55:01):
All right, you hang on the phone for just one
second so that we can get some information from you,
and we'll be back with more emojos in the morning,
coming up here in a second. Kevin, by the way,
very sad that he's single at this time of the
year and would like to have a moment to maybe
get some comfort from.
Speaker 3 (01:55:17):
The listeners, especially the ladies that are listening. We'll be
right back. It's Mojoe in the morning.
Speaker 5 (01:55:24):
Kevin this weekend feeling a little sad as he felt like,
where's the music from?
Speaker 30 (01:55:32):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (01:55:35):
Hold on.
Speaker 14 (01:55:37):
It?
Speaker 3 (01:55:37):
Might be my phone.
Speaker 5 (01:55:39):
Feeling all sad in his feels, as the girls like
to say, because he is all alone at Christmas.
Speaker 3 (01:55:49):
No, just being single just suck.
Speaker 11 (01:55:50):
Sometimes it's amazing and it has its beautiful moments, but
there are other times where it's not beautiful. And when
you got to go grocery shopping by yourself, you gotta
come home. You gotta put up the groceries by yourself.
You gotta take the trash out, throw that away, then
refill the trash bag, then wash the dishes or dish
washing them, then clean up after yourself. You gotta cook
(01:56:13):
like it's just this is not what it's cracked up
to be. When it's come down to these responsibilities. You
gotta decorate by yourself. You gotta hang lights by yourself.
Build a Christmas tree by yourself, decorated by yourself, go
to the mail room by yourself.
Speaker 3 (01:56:25):
You just gotta do everything.
Speaker 5 (01:56:26):
Alone, necessarily all alone. You've got your son, You've got
your mom, you've got grandmama.
Speaker 11 (01:56:33):
I'm talking about I'm talking about household, household thing like yes, man,
like my mama not coming over my house. Josiah Thera
when he there, but he's not helping he in his
room playing rollbox because this weekend he's.
Speaker 5 (01:56:46):
Like Dad, it's a full server and got an update
like dog do you so you think about this when
you got all this stuff at the holidays and you're like, man,
I gotta get you, gotta wife yourself, somebody up.
Speaker 3 (01:56:57):
I'm not going out.
Speaker 8 (01:56:58):
Here's my question. I feel like you have a lot
of interested callers. What is preventing you from getting into
a relationship because when we talk, it sounds like you don't.
Speaker 6 (01:57:08):
Want to be in one.
Speaker 3 (01:57:09):
Really do I give off that impression?
Speaker 6 (01:57:11):
I literally thought you told me that the other day.
Was that's just not what you're looking for right now.
Speaker 3 (01:57:15):
I'm not looking for it.
Speaker 11 (01:57:17):
I'm not reaching my hand out searching for a relationship
at the moment.
Speaker 3 (01:57:22):
I want to be ready when that happens.
Speaker 11 (01:57:24):
But while I'm in my waiting period, I can't acknowledge
that this is what's going on right now.
Speaker 3 (01:57:31):
It sucks the way you're single. Do you feel.
Speaker 6 (01:57:35):
But like I feel? I feel like you have options
and you're not taking those options.
Speaker 2 (01:57:40):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:57:40):
No, no, just because you have options don't mean they're
for you.
Speaker 47 (01:57:43):
OK.
Speaker 3 (01:57:43):
I need to be intentional because things are things aren't incorrect,
they're incomplete.
Speaker 11 (01:57:51):
And I think sometimes when you try to move too fast,
that's when you have a blessing at first, and then
since it's incomplete, it no longer starts to look like
a blessing just because it's not fool And that's when
you start rushing in other stuff. And I'm not trying
to rush into something because I'm just quote unquote incomplete.
Speaker 5 (01:58:09):
Right, Okay, yeah, you better by the way, you know
how they always say, don't get into a relationship when
you're just getting over a relationship, because you might run
too fast. That is the reason why is because you
don't want to, because you're missing out on certain things.
You want to just race into something and then next
thing you know, you're you know, knee deep into it,
and next thing you know, you're like, what the hell
(01:58:30):
did I just do?
Speaker 11 (01:58:31):
And a lot of times too, when you run from relationships,
relationship like say you got out of a terrible relationship,
it was a level ten, like terrible situation. You can
get to somebody that's just a level eight and think
you've upgraded, and it's still like eight is still terriful.
Speaker 5 (01:58:45):
But it wouldn't be nice to have somebody to help
put you the tree up, put the groceries away.
Speaker 3 (01:58:50):
I mean the tree was like it was Amazon. I
was just three parts, so you just but still you
got to.
Speaker 4 (01:58:54):
Do all of this stuff.
Speaker 10 (01:58:56):
It's so interesting because you said something really important though.
You said while I'm in my waiting period, so you
know that this is your quote unquote waiting period that
there is going to eventually.
Speaker 9 (01:59:04):
Be somebody absolutely, so like I almost want.
Speaker 10 (01:59:09):
To tell you to look at it right now. If
you are able to do everything the way you want
to do it, that's a good one. Then you're going
to have some lady come into your life. That's like
our Christmas tree.
Speaker 3 (01:59:21):
Is going to be matching and not for Amazon.
Speaker 9 (01:59:27):
And you don't put the dishes away this way, keV.
You do it this way, you know, Kevin?
Speaker 3 (01:59:34):
Kevin, why don't you invite friends over? No, I'm not good.
Speaker 11 (01:59:39):
You think you think I was gonna go down and
the friends aren't helping you do that. But have friends
come over to like and make it a make it
a thing that where it's fun, Like invite Zach over,
so that will help you. I will say lately I
have because I don't know. I like to entertain people
but I don't like to host people.
Speaker 3 (01:59:58):
That makes sense.
Speaker 11 (01:59:58):
But I'm not an come over to the grib y'all,
like let's have fun at my place. Like I'm not
that type of person. But lately I've been inviting homies
to come over and watch like Thursday night football or
Monday night football.
Speaker 3 (02:00:08):
Like starting to get more into into that. What's up, Brittany.
Speaker 4 (02:00:13):
I.
Speaker 24 (02:00:13):
I just was listening in on the show, and I
just wanting to put my input in about like he's
not missing a lover, he wants a housemaid.
Speaker 3 (02:00:24):
Oh help me. Maybe maybe he needs like Molly made
to come over.
Speaker 24 (02:00:34):
He wants the decoration, he wants things done for him.
Speaker 3 (02:00:37):
Yeah, yeah, well with with me, just with me.
Speaker 10 (02:00:41):
Was there one thing, like one instance that really made
you feel it? Because I feel like all the things
you just.
Speaker 11 (02:00:47):
It was a culmination but being hungry and like not
wanting to prepare a good meal and just like like
all right, let me just eat up these Tyson chicken
patties and make some popcorn.
Speaker 5 (02:00:58):
That's gonna be dinner. Because I don't feel like preparing
something because you're not going to prepare it just for yourself. Yeah,
I mean, it takes time to make something nice.
Speaker 3 (02:01:07):
Yeah, what's up, Amy? How you doing.
Speaker 19 (02:01:10):
I just wanted to say, Kevin, welcome to being a woman.
Speaker 26 (02:01:14):
Yeah, every year, all the time, every day.
Speaker 3 (02:01:20):
I could, all right, thank you for having me. I appreciate.
Speaker 5 (02:01:26):
I actually do think that there's a bit of Kevin
that he has been single for a good period of time.
Speaker 3 (02:01:32):
Been a year now. Maybe it's time for you to
find a relationship. Maybe you're ready.
Speaker 10 (02:01:37):
Necessarily find a relationship. I think if you found somebody
that you could just do things with every once in
a while, kind of like eas your.
Speaker 9 (02:01:45):
Way back in. Its only been a year.
Speaker 3 (02:01:47):
This guy was actually not he was about to get married.
Speaker 10 (02:01:50):
I understand that's why I'm saying, but it's only been
a Year's.
Speaker 9 (02:01:56):
Over a year, okay, but you've.
Speaker 10 (02:01:57):
Dated people, You've gone out with people, you had someone
reverse cowgirl last week.
Speaker 9 (02:02:03):
Your word's not mine?
Speaker 5 (02:02:04):
Can I tell you something though, that have you noticed
that there have been even posted over the weekend picture
of him, Josiah and Josiah's mom Jazz.
Speaker 3 (02:02:14):
We had a great time. So yeah, Saturday was great.
Speaker 5 (02:02:17):
There's going to be something to this thing, you think, So,
I just I really do feel like there's something that
is pulling the two of you guys closer together.
Speaker 3 (02:02:25):
And it's not just Josiah.
Speaker 5 (02:02:28):
No, it's not just I don't think so, No, because
I think that you have done it for a long
time without, you know, and you've been there both.
Speaker 3 (02:02:34):
You guys have been so good for Josiah.
Speaker 5 (02:02:36):
You guys are getting along better than you did I
bet you back in the days when you guys made Josiah. Absolutely,
So it is interesting and it's wild because I'll tell
you this, the two of you guys. When I when
I saw her and met her for the first time,
which was not that long ago, it was not what
I thought that she was gonna, you know, look like
or be like. And then I thought, okay, I think
(02:02:59):
I could see Kevin with her like because most of
the girls, like when I talked to Kevin, you know
about girls, it's like I like them thick.
Speaker 3 (02:03:08):
No, But he goes, it's like this, this is all stuff.
He's like, I like him sick, and I like him
dressed like this, and I like him this up.
Speaker 5 (02:03:14):
And I look at her and I go, you know what,
she's really beautiful and she's a sweet woman. She's a
great mother mm hmmm, and she can help put a
tree up together and she makes good chili amazing. Would
she uh, if you guys got together, would you move
(02:03:34):
to her or she moved to you?
Speaker 3 (02:03:36):
Really? What's up traveling?
Speaker 9 (02:03:37):
That sounds like you guys have talked about this, right.
Speaker 3 (02:03:40):
What's going on, buddy? Not much? I was just calling.

Speaker 3 (02:04:23):

Speaker 11 (02:04:27):
Listen, so my top I'm not gonna say my top
things I would love today somebody who's in the culinary arts.
Speaker 3 (02:04:31):
I would love a cheft, a chef.
Speaker 11 (02:04:33):
I would love an interior designer, interior decorator, I would love. Uh,
we'll start with those two. Those two fascinating. What about
a hygienist, you said, A hygienist hygenna is like a
dermatologist slash hydenists.
Speaker 5 (02:04:44):

Speaker 7 (02:05:22):
Free hotel.
Speaker 42 (02:05:23):
I had said something to you that night, but I
had just like kind of walked away after I had to.
Speaker 3 (02:05:28):
You for a minute.
Speaker 27 (02:05:29):
I was asking you like what you were drinking and
all of that.
Speaker 18 (02:05:32):
I don't know if you remember I had on the
green dress.
Speaker 3 (02:05:34):
Okay, well, look, send send a message Leslie, do you
have a Do you have a thick? Thick? Yeah?
Speaker 16 (02:05:45):

Speaker 3 (02:05:46):
Okay, we're looking up. Oh my god, nice Tracy, Hello,
this is this topic. What's going on? Yeah, this is
dating service.
Speaker 16 (02:06:00):
Being single sucks.
Speaker 46 (02:06:02):
I was married for twenty four years with them for
thirty and around holidays it evens worse.
Speaker 3 (02:06:07):
It's worse.
Speaker 4 (02:06:08):
I get Kevin's feelings.
Speaker 16 (02:06:10):
And doing things by yourself sucks.
Speaker 3 (02:06:13):
Yeah, I could see that.
Speaker 5 (02:06:15):
You know, we talked with Anna about the same exact
conversation not that long ago.
Speaker 3 (02:06:20):
It's tough around the holidays. The beauty of it is
the holidays are a few totally. Did y'all have children?
Speaker 18 (02:06:31):
We have four beautiful children and they're all grown. None
of them live at home.
Speaker 3 (02:06:36):
Would you like to get married again?
Speaker 25 (02:06:37):
I'm still doing it.
Speaker 18 (02:06:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 35 (02:06:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 43 (02:06:42):
Twenty four years and then just be done.
Speaker 18 (02:06:44):
I don't know if I could.
Speaker 3 (02:06:45):
That's amazing.
Speaker 5 (02:06:46):
It's a long time, twenty four years together and then
not being to get you know, that's I could see
where that would be tough. That's odored in Bianca. Would
you like to would you like to get together with
Kaptn Leslie? They're getting not a bad.
Speaker 12 (02:06:59):
Let's go on single.
Speaker 3 (02:07:00):
Okay, oh god, all right.
Speaker 5 (02:07:05):
Crystal wants to make a comment about will cav ever
get together with Josiah's mom.
Speaker 3 (02:07:09):
What do you want to say, Crystal? I want to
say absolutely not.
Speaker 33 (02:07:15):
And I say that because if you really wanted to
be with her, you guys would have gotten together by now,
and because I'm not sure exactly what will be holding
you back outside of you just don't want to be together,
and there's nothing wrong with that, and you can still
parent and have a great relationship, which it seems like
you guys do, which is great. So don't ruin that
(02:07:38):
by trying to force something that's obviously not happening.
Speaker 5 (02:07:43):
Well, it has it has to be right because remember,
you do not want to mess with Josiah, absolutely and
I would never do that. He will always be the priority.
Speaker 11 (02:07:53):
But to your point about me making it happen, I
tried to make it happen before and she didn't want
to be with me.
Speaker 3 (02:08:00):
It wasn't me I did.
Speaker 6 (02:08:02):
What is she saying?
Speaker 9 (02:08:03):
How long ago?
Speaker 17 (02:08:03):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (02:08:04):
That was years ago?
Speaker 9 (02:08:05):
What would she say now?
Speaker 3 (02:08:07):
I don't know? This is a by the way, it's
a plot twist.
Speaker 5 (02:08:10):
You want to know it's plot twist because I always
thought that keV was just you know, having his fun
with Jasmine. I didn't realize that she turned you away,
which means there's a piece of you that still has
you can finished business she feels in this week.
Speaker 3 (02:08:26):
Wait is that happening? Why not?
Speaker 5 (02:08:28):
Okay, all right, hold on a second, We'll be right
back with more, including Grab Santa Sack. Next, Detroyd has
officially frozen over.
Speaker 3 (02:08:38):
He's Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 6 (02:08:44):
It's time for more Mojo.
Speaker 4 (02:08:46):
To Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 5 (02:08:51):
You know, it's funny. I thought we had Grabbed Santa
Stack and I screwed up. It's not Grab Santa Sack.
To me, it's even better. Sold out Morgan wall and
ticket at the Big House. Text to win, Text Morgan
m O r g A N to nine five five
zero zero and you could be going to the show
(02:09:11):
one of the shows in July. Text Morgan to nine
five five zero zero. We're giving away CARDI B tickets
at six thirty. Then these Morgan Wallle tickets at eight
thirty or nine thirty, and then uh, seven thirty and
eight thirty is when we will do Grab Santa Sak.
Speaker 4 (02:09:27):
Mo jor in The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 5 (02:09:29):
All right, I was trying to look to see if
I can get more information for Shannon here with maybe
some like cops talking or something like that, you know,
some audio.
Speaker 3 (02:09:38):
This Rob Reiner story is crazy. This morning.
Speaker 5 (02:09:42):
We woke up today to learn that the producer, director,
actor Rob Reiner. Guys like you know, iconically you know
in Hollywood. But if you see him, you know, oh,
I don't know that guy. That guy looks like Rob Reiner.
He and his wife were murdered yesterday.
Speaker 10 (02:10:00):
If you've ever seen Wolf of Wall Street with Leo DiCaprio,
you remember him from this scene right here.
Speaker 3 (02:10:06):
Toty what you got? You look at this twenty six
thousand thoullars for one day. No, no, no, this could
be explained.
Speaker 10 (02:10:13):
He was meathead and all in the family went on
to direct some big, big movies, including The Princess Bride.
When Harry met Sally, stand by me, a few good men.
So we're trying to gather some details of what happened.
I mean literally, police and the LA Fire Department are
at the home right now doing this investigation.
Speaker 9 (02:10:32):
So this is a very very fresh situation.
Speaker 10 (02:10:36):
Paramedics called the home yesterday afternoon for a medical emergency
where they discovered a seventy eight year old man and
a sixty eight year old woman unresponsive inside this beautiful Brentwood,
California mansion. It's Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle Singer Reiner.
And the really the only detail we have right now
is that the rumor is it was their son, Nick
(02:11:00):
who killed them. He's a person someone who struggled, Yeah,
someone who's struggled with addiction for a very very long time.
Speaker 9 (02:11:07):
But that's all I got right now.
Speaker 8 (02:11:09):
Say it makes sense, but to think about somebody entering
your house and being able to do that to you,
I feel like it had to be someone that they
knew to lack into their house.
Speaker 4 (02:11:18):
To do that.
Speaker 10 (02:11:19):
Yeah, So we'll keep you We'll keep you updated with
details tomorrow as we get them throughout the day today.
Speaker 3 (02:11:24):
I you know, it's funny.
Speaker 5 (02:11:26):
I didn't realize I'm looking at the stuff that they're
putting right now on television of the home and where
the home is. All of their neighbors are all like
really famous people. Larry David lives to the left of him,
Billy Crystal lives to the right of him. There's like
Sigourney Weavers in that neighborhood.
Speaker 10 (02:11:46):
Tom Brady, I don't know if he still has a home.
I know he had a home right literally right there
where they are.
Speaker 9 (02:11:53):
Betty White lived right down the street from them.
Speaker 3 (02:11:56):
Brentwood, by the way, you know the last time that's
something like this bad hell?
Speaker 5 (02:11:59):
Jay, Yeah, they jacked down Oja where he's whereabouts are
in heaven?
Speaker 35 (02:12:04):
Well?
Speaker 3 (02:12:15):
Are you still looking for the killer? All right?
Speaker 10 (02:12:16):
Over the weekend, King Charles giving an update on his
battle with cancer.
Speaker 48 (02:12:22):
Today, I am able to share with you the good
news that, thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence
to doctor's orders, my own schedule of cancer treatment she
produced in the new year.
Speaker 3 (02:12:38):
My own schedule. That's Prince, that's King Charles.
Speaker 9 (02:12:43):
That's the King hanging out with Anna's friend from the
first break of the show.
Speaker 3 (02:12:47):
What's his name?
Speaker 4 (02:12:49):
Windrick?
Speaker 9 (02:12:50):
Windrick and was standing right next to the King. But
he gave us cancer update about a schedule.
Speaker 3 (02:12:55):
This This shows you how bad her healthcare is and
uh in the UK than it is.
Speaker 4 (02:13:00):
Hair.
Speaker 5 (02:13:01):
Did you know that the pre screenings are part of
their insurance And they say that when he came out,
his reasoning of coming out into explaining, although he has
not told us what kind of cancer it is. So
many people the two days right after that press conference,
which I think that was on Friday, that that happened. Yeah,
so I think Saturday and yesterday scheduled. So they say
(02:13:25):
that it could save lives.
Speaker 9 (02:13:27):
Let me tell you something. I'm getting my full body
MRI twenty ninth.
Speaker 3 (02:13:30):
Yeah, you better. That's I know.
Speaker 9 (02:13:34):
I'm very, very grateful that I'm able to do something
like that.
Speaker 5 (02:13:36):
But yeah, but in England it's covered by your insurance.
Here it's not covered. You've got to pay out of
pocket for yea.
Speaker 3 (02:13:43):
We swear we did greatest country in the world. We
can't get the basis.
Speaker 10 (02:13:47):
I've never watched the movie about Selena, the iconic singer.
Speaker 9 (02:13:52):
I've never watched it. But her dad passed away over
the weekend.
Speaker 10 (02:13:55):
Selena's dad not it was dead, but he was her manager,
I believe, during her career until she was God this
crazy story, murdered by the president of her fan club.
That was ninety five. That was thirty five, thirty years ago,
nineteen ninety five. Am I doing my math right?
Speaker 27 (02:14:09):
Yes?
Speaker 9 (02:14:10):
Holy cow?
Speaker 4 (02:14:12):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:14:12):
Where I was born?
Speaker 10 (02:14:14):
Cause of death not known. No, suspicion of trauma or
foul play or anything like that. But his son, Selina's brother,
sharing that news on Instagram.
Speaker 5 (02:14:21):
If she would have lived, honestly, she would have been
bigger than Taylor Swift. I know people think that I'm
crazy saying that, but she was international and she had
pop hits like this one right here, and I could
fall in love.
Speaker 3 (02:14:34):
But I don't know if this song was so wid.
I wonder if anybody plays this on any radio stations
these days. That's wild. So her dad died, Yeah, he.
Speaker 9 (02:14:43):
Was older eighty six.
Speaker 3 (02:14:46):
Were you and Selena fans as a little girl.
Speaker 9 (02:14:48):
Going uh no, I knew this song, but no, this
is a good song.
Speaker 4 (02:15:00):
Kilt.
Speaker 3 (02:15:02):
She was so big she could fill like huge world,
you know, cup stadiums.
Speaker 4 (02:15:12):
You know.
Speaker 9 (02:15:14):
Okay, I have two back to back, just horrible, horrible stories,
but big news. Over the weekend.
Speaker 10 (02:15:19):
I know, at least fifteen people lost their lives. Twenty
seven others remain hospitalized, including a dozen who are in
critical critical condition, after a shooting at Australia's famous Bondi
Beach in Sydney. This happened during a Hanukah celebration. Police
identified the suspects as a dad and a sun ages
(02:15:39):
fifty and twenty four. So dad was shot at the scene.
The twenty four year old is in critical condition.
Speaker 5 (02:15:44):
Did you see the hero the guy? Was he on
a fruit stand? He jumped in and tackled.
Speaker 10 (02:15:50):
Yes, the sun that please google it if you have
not watched that. But officials declaring the shooting a terrorist event.
They say it was designed to target you wish people.
This is Rabbi Mark Miller from Temple Bethel here in
Bloomfield Hills.
Speaker 17 (02:16:05):
A religious attack, whether it's on a house of warship
or on people who are observing their faith in any way,
is something that is like I say, it's a strike
against society as a whole, and for all of us.
I hope that we are feeling some.
Speaker 9 (02:16:19):
Of that pain.
Speaker 10 (02:16:19):
And then this shooting at Brown University. Two people, including
a nineteen year old female student, lost their lives in
that after a gunman entered an engineering building on campus
and opened fire. This was Saturday, around four pm. Nine
others injured in that attack entered the.
Speaker 22 (02:16:37):
Room and you can just see the panic and all
the students' eyes. I was standing in the front, so
I've seen as he walked in. He immediately saw me,
and I immediately saw him. And then I looked to
my right and I see a bunch of students from
running down the stairs, running out the door, jumping on
the ground, just whatever it.
Speaker 9 (02:16:57):
Takes to say crazy.
Speaker 10 (02:16:58):
Part in this story is that the Providence Police Department
had a guy that they said was their person of interest.
Speaker 9 (02:17:05):
They released him for lack of evidence. So that's not
I don't have anybody there.
Speaker 3 (02:17:10):
That's nice.
Speaker 5 (02:17:10):
And they only have one camera view of him, and
the camera view of him is his guy's back walking away.
Speaker 3 (02:17:16):
They say, though, that.
Speaker 5 (02:17:17):
They're going to catch him, and they say, you know
how they're going to catch him The way that he walks.
They say that his gait on how he walks is
so specific that if somebody looks at the video and
sees the way he walks, they will be able to say, oh,
that's so, and so I know somebody walks just like that.
Speaker 6 (02:17:35):
He's going to switch up the way he walks.
Speaker 5 (02:17:36):
Now, well, you know, but you'll know who he is
based off of his body shape and stuff, because they
have the back of him.
Speaker 3 (02:17:42):
But the way the way he kind.
Speaker 10 (02:17:43):
Of like hobbles a little bit and lastly, I promised
I would do this story for Zach Mojo.
Speaker 9 (02:17:47):
There's one more piece of audio.
Speaker 3 (02:17:48):
It's like two seconds.
Speaker 9 (02:17:49):
What is that John Cena and his very last match?
Speaker 3 (02:17:54):
Are you serious? We're doing it?
Speaker 9 (02:17:56):
I promised him.
Speaker 38 (02:17:59):
I just want to say that I'm super sad because
this is like my Jordan. You know, this is my guy,
and it's sad to see him go.
Speaker 18 (02:18:07):
Uh.
Speaker 38 (02:18:07):
He had an amazing career. I'm boycotting WWE because they
didn't do a good job telling his story.
Speaker 3 (02:18:13):
But that's okay. Isn't the guy like an actor he
is now?
Speaker 9 (02:18:16):
Yeah, Daddy's home and Daddy's home too.
Speaker 3 (02:18:19):
That's a good one. Yeah. Back to Shannon that.
Speaker 27 (02:18:24):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:18:25):
They just why John? He said, why? Is he the
second greatest ever?
Speaker 38 (02:18:30):
No, he is the greatest evert Yeah, yeah, but he
seventeen championships, that's all you need to say. Seventeen world
title Rock Rock only has thirteen? Yeah, nope, and then
way better than Rick Flayer. However, it's just WWE got
sold by t KO and it's all pretty much Yes,
(02:18:52):
it's corporate. Zachy, sir, you made Shannon do this, and
she loves you so much. She gave you this well,
John Cena, I mean it's Big John, the best.
Speaker 3 (02:19:03):
It was everywhere.
Speaker 9 (02:19:04):
Yes, what would you rather me talk about today?
Speaker 10 (02:19:07):
Hailey Steinfeld having a baby or John Cena because you
hated both of those stories.
Speaker 9 (02:19:12):
Anything Taylor swim you.
Speaker 3 (02:19:16):
Let's talk about it.
Speaker 10 (02:19:18):
If you missed anything from the show, like this riveting conversation,
catch up on the podcast on the Free iHeartRadio's the best.
Speaker 3 (02:19:23):
You can't see me, here's the best ever. Man Randy said,
Mojo in the Morning is next?
Speaker 1 (02:19:31):
Yes, that one, don't you.
Speaker 3 (02:19:32):
What do you think it's good?
Speaker 6 (02:19:34):
Is that really?
Speaker 44 (02:19:35):
That?
Speaker 3 (02:19:35):
Jed?
Speaker 26 (02:19:36):
No, that is.
Speaker 3 (02:19:38):
I believe in that. We used to have wrestlers on
this show all the time. Say this is the Rock
and you are listening to the Rock's favorite morning Jabroni's.
Speaker 39 (02:19:46):
Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 3 (02:19:47):
You know it's amazing those cats are cooking. Hey, there
you go.
Speaker 2 (02:19:53):
Mojo in the Morning on social media. This christ it's
Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 3 (02:20:00):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (02:20:02):
We got a break in and entering Christmas wish coming
up here in just a couple of minutes. Friday got
faced with a little dilemma. It's like a moral dilemma,
and I want to ask the listeners, what would you
have done if you were me? Okay, let me explain
this situation, and you tell me what your thoughts are
on this. So this weekend, Chelsea and I were going
(02:20:23):
to go to Chicago to visit our son Jacob and
his boyfriend Chris, and we were taking them as part
of their Christmas gift to go see the Broadway musical six, which.
Speaker 9 (02:20:38):
I've heard it so good.
Speaker 5 (02:20:39):
I had no idea what it was about until I
went in there, and then I was there and I'm
going this hag so bad.
Speaker 3 (02:20:45):
I actually kind of liked it. I'll explain that in
a second.
Speaker 5 (02:20:48):
So Chelsea and Jacob had been wanting to go see it,
and it was something that they both wanted to do together,
and then they let the two people in the relationship
with them, myself and and Chris be part of it
and to be part of a Christmas gift, We're going
to do dinner and all this stuff. Well, Friday morning,
during the show, Chelsea sends me a text message at
(02:21:09):
about maybe like six forty five. I am, hold on,
let me read the extual thing here, because it's you
got to almost hear the hair, the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (02:21:20):
Uh, she sends me back.
Speaker 5 (02:21:24):
Look at this one. Stop texting me. Hold on a second, No,
some amazing Why are you bother me? Oh no, that's
not that one. Aren't there? Uh Friday? Where's Fridays Friday?
Speaker 3 (02:21:37):
Oh? Here you go. I am so sick.
Speaker 5 (02:21:40):
I have the worst sore throat, horrible headache and body aches.
And I said, O f And I said, do you
want to cancel? She says, I feel like I got
hit by a truck. I am so sad. This is
all I wanted to do with Jacob, and I do
not want to get him sick before we're spending Christmas together.
I really want him to come to Florida. So she
sends me the text, and I said, well, what do
(02:22:02):
you want to do? She doesn't answer me, so I
call her and this is where I asked the listeners, Okay,
I got to be a good husband here. I got
her very sick wife at home. But I also have
my son and his boyfriend in a hotel room waiting
in Chicago. So I say to myself, well, what I'm
(02:22:24):
going to do is I'm going to call Jacob and
I'm going to see what Jacob's response is to his
mom's being sick, and then say, yeah, you know, I
know she feels horrible because Chelsea was like really really sad.
Speaker 3 (02:22:36):
She could hardly talk. She blames Kevin by the way,
fast did you text her?
Speaker 28 (02:22:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (02:22:43):
I text her. She texts me and asks me, when
you got sick? What did it start with? And I
could tell by the lining of questioning that.
Speaker 6 (02:22:51):
It was a reason for it, and her symptoms were.
Speaker 11 (02:22:56):
I think her started with her throw hurting or started
with a headache, and then it went down knows and
then throwers.
Speaker 3 (02:23:02):
Okay, so are you.
Speaker 5 (02:23:04):
Guys making out a jacoballs? So I called Jacob up
and he doesn't answer. So I text him and said
because he's you know, he's uh. Jacob's a psychologist, so
he was in with patients. I said, hey, call me
when you get a chance. He calls me right back.
Within like ten or fifteen minutes. He says, everything okay,
and I said, actually mom is really really sick. Everything's
(02:23:26):
gonna be okay. She's just got you know, sore throat
and stuff like that. He's like, oh man, he was
like you he was bummed, and he said, but you know,
just you know, tell her, don't worry about it.
Speaker 3 (02:23:34):
Whatever the deal is.
Speaker 5 (02:23:35):
I said, let me ask you, would you be okay
if I still came. He got really excited. And Jacob
and I do not have the relationship that Chelsea and
Jacob have. Chelsea and Jacob's relationship is like they are
in you know, is it a simpatico, you know what
I mean? Like they are like literally like how Kevin
is with Josiah, how you are with Lucy, How I
(02:23:59):
am with Joe, you know, and Luke we kind of
you kind of have your your kids that you're really
close with. And he was he seemed really excited. He goes,
oh my god, that would be so great. He goes,
that would be cool, Chris, and I will hang with you.
And I'm like, okay, And I was excited about that.
But then I hung up the phone and I go,
I really feel like I'm being a dick husband because
(02:24:21):
here she is, she just got over being really really sick,
and then now she's sick.
Speaker 3 (02:24:25):
With this and I'm leaving her. I'm going out of town.
Speaker 5 (02:24:28):
She's got to take care of the dogs, you know,
which the dogs are a holes, you know, why couldn't
they be sick and so we're going so going through
this whole thing. So I kept asking her, Am I okay?
Am I okay? And she's like, yes, go go go,
So I go. And then I thought to myself the
(02:24:49):
whole weekend, I'm like, oh, I don't think she's happy
with me, you know, but I think you heard I
don't think she's happy with me. Was I was also
calling her every five minutes because I had guilt over
the fact I going. Did I do wrong by going?
Or should I have stayed with Chelsea and just ate
the hotel room for the night and just gave Jacob
the tickets to go with Chris and one.
Speaker 3 (02:25:11):
Of his friends.
Speaker 10 (02:25:12):
Thank you one million percent, without question, made the right decision,
you think so, yes, And by the way, when you're sick,
you want to be by like at least me, I
want to be by myself because all I'm going to
do is sleep.
Speaker 3 (02:25:25):
I don't know.
Speaker 24 (02:25:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (02:25:27):
And you had a great weekend with Jacob.
Speaker 3 (02:25:29):
I did have a great weekend with Jacob.
Speaker 8 (02:25:31):
I think you made the right decision. But I do
know from what I've heard about people in relationships that
are getting therapy. They keep telling me that you're supposed
to make your spouse like priority.
Speaker 9 (02:25:44):
Yes, priority, get out of the house so I can't
just rest.
Speaker 5 (02:25:48):
Kevin was shaking his head over there. You guys are answering,
what do you think was Chelsea alone? Chelsea had Luke
at home.
Speaker 3 (02:25:55):
Okay.
Speaker 11 (02:25:56):
The only reason I say you're not an AO, and
it's very tough for me to say that, is because
Jacob really wanted you to go. Yeah, if Jacob had
to say you know what, Dad, No, it's okay, moms
and you were just like, no, I understand this is
important and you went, I'd be like, yeah, you come.
Speaker 3 (02:26:12):
And honestly, that's how I felt like.
Speaker 11 (02:26:14):
If Jacob would have done that, I would have not gone,
because honestly, I didn't want to drive eight you know, basically,
it's nine hours of driving, it's four and a half
hours therefore and a half hours back.
Speaker 9 (02:26:25):
And it ended up being right.
Speaker 5 (02:26:28):
But I but I will tell you it was really
fun to be able to just be me and I
and try to be more present. But also we spent
the day together on Saturday, just kind of hanging it
at Jake's uh and Chris's condo that they live in.
Speaker 3 (02:26:42):
And I don't ever get to go over there like
I'm never really there.
Speaker 10 (02:26:45):
As a mom like I love I would love the
idea of like dad getting to spend quality time with
one of them.
Speaker 9 (02:26:51):
And I think that's really really important.
Speaker 5 (02:26:53):
And I will say this in our relationship, mine and Jacob's,
it would not be anything if it wasn't for Chelsea
when Jacob was younger, saying to me, you need to
find something that you can have with him, and for
us it's always been like scary movies. This was pretty
wild to go see, although Jacob was upset because he
said that I was looking at my phone NonStop during
the during the musical. During the musical, I didn't I
(02:27:16):
didn't have it on or anything like that, but I
was looking at it to see what the time was.
Speaker 3 (02:27:19):
What's up, Sarah? How you doing good? How are you good?
Did I did I do wrong? Or what do you think?
Am I the a hole? As Kevin says, You're not
the a hole.
Speaker 43 (02:27:29):
I think the fact that you feel like you're an
a hole says enough that you're not an a hole
and speaks to the fact that you're a good husband.
You asked Chelsea over and over again if it was
okay you were considerate of her, and the fact that
you feel so guilty about it, I just think shows
that you're a good husband, because there's a lot of
guys that would just.
Speaker 4 (02:27:48):
Go not even I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:27:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:27:51):
I think the fact that I feel guilty about it
is the fact that I've done wrong a lot in
this relationship, you know what I mean, Like I have
not chosen Chelsea to be the prior in a lot
of our relationship, and I feel like this could be
considered one of those same times, and I you know,
that was like my biggest thing. And then the other
thing too, is I didn't want it to become Sarah
one of those things where it was like, oh good,
(02:28:12):
we're not going, and then it makes it look like
I don't care about Jacob, like I wanted to make
the effort to.
Speaker 17 (02:28:18):
Go so that.
Speaker 43 (02:28:19):
Do you think Chelsea would speak up and tell you though,
if she was upset about it?
Speaker 5 (02:28:24):
Yeah, now she would, I think after this whole thing,
But I do really think I think she would have
told me ahead of time and she didn't want me
to go. Now, I will say this, she did say
that the dogs were total pain in the ass, and.
Speaker 9 (02:28:36):
Why didn't Luke be help with the dogs?
Speaker 5 (02:28:38):
Well, I think Chelsea didn't want Luke to get sick,
so she was staying away from Luke.
Speaker 3 (02:28:43):
But it is true though Luke should have helped you
a little bit. I think, Marcia, what's up?
Speaker 35 (02:28:51):
You know what?
Speaker 27 (02:28:51):
Sometimes things happened. I think your wife gets sick only
so you can spend time with your son and Chicago.
Speaker 5 (02:28:57):
Marcia think, Marcia, you know what? Thank you for saying that,
because honestly, it was a really cool weekend. We had
really an awesome time.
Speaker 27 (02:29:07):
Okay, one thing, it would have been great if you
had got the dog, got them a whole hotel, whatever
you do with your dog.
Speaker 5 (02:29:14):
If I if I euthanized them, I should have euthanized them.
This would be the reason to put them down.
Speaker 3 (02:29:20):
I should have.
Speaker 25 (02:29:22):
My heart.
Speaker 3 (02:29:23):
I should have put him down. What's up, Mike? How
you doing?
Speaker 13 (02:29:27):
I'm doing fine?
Speaker 35 (02:29:28):
Thank you?
Speaker 18 (02:29:29):
How are you doing good?
Speaker 35 (02:29:30):
Mike?
Speaker 3 (02:29:30):
This has turned into a version of am I the
a hole?
Speaker 16 (02:29:34):
That was just the a whole move?
Speaker 3 (02:29:36):
But what are you serious? Speak on it?
Speaker 23 (02:29:39):
Mike?
Speaker 3 (02:29:41):
Do you think I'm an a hole for what I did?
Speaker 13 (02:29:43):
I love you guys, you know.
Speaker 18 (02:29:47):
You gotta stick with your wife.
Speaker 3 (02:29:49):
Sorry, m m M, Mike. You don't happen to be
a guy trying to hit on my wife, are you?
Speaker 35 (02:29:57):
No?
Speaker 3 (02:29:58):
Okay, I'm just making shureing that one there.
Speaker 5 (02:30:00):
So I should have stuck with the be home with
my sick wife, and she's my priority over my sons.
Speaker 22 (02:30:09):
In my opinion.
Speaker 13 (02:30:10):
Yeah, my wife used to be Uh, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:30:14):
She's kind of sweetheart.
Speaker 18 (02:30:15):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (02:30:18):
Right there with you? Let's hear what she says?
Speaker 13 (02:30:20):
Actually, my wife agrees with you.
Speaker 3 (02:30:23):
Well, do you have an imaginary wife? I can't hear.
Where is she at? Uhwee, honey? Where you at?
Speaker 28 (02:30:32):
Sweetheart?
Speaker 3 (02:30:33):
Sweetheart? Where you at?
Speaker 11 (02:30:34):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (02:30:35):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (02:30:35):
Hi, wife? What did you want to what did you
want to say? Mike's wife? Which? What's Mike's wife's name?
Speaker 24 (02:30:42):
Laura?
Speaker 3 (02:30:43):
Hey, la, Laura? What are you? What are your thoughts?
Speaker 4 (02:30:46):
Well?
Speaker 36 (02:30:47):
I just think you she's gonna be homesick anyhow.
Speaker 19 (02:30:49):
So the kid wanted to go.
Speaker 5 (02:30:50):
So, okay, let me ask you. Is this guy just
trying to cause problems in my relationship?
Speaker 4 (02:30:58):
I don't think so?
Speaker 3 (02:30:59):
Okay? Is he a good guy? Is Mike a good guy?
Speaker 18 (02:31:03):
Oh?
Speaker 17 (02:31:04):
Definitely he's the best.
Speaker 5 (02:31:05):
All right, that's great, hold on, a second, hold on,
Kevin wants away and what did you want to say, Kevin?
Speaker 40 (02:31:11):
I think Selsea would be just.
Speaker 3 (02:31:14):
Okay this guy okay, Kevin, listener, Kevin, that's me, Mike.
Speaker 16 (02:31:19):
I think I think Selsea would.
Speaker 3 (02:31:20):
Be just fine. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I say that.
Speaker 44 (02:31:27):
Because my father passed away few years ago.
Speaker 3 (02:31:29):
So for me, I would die for my dad to
call me one lafet.
Speaker 11 (02:31:32):
Time to me that.
Speaker 35 (02:31:33):
You know.
Speaker 5 (02:31:34):
That's I'm telling you. You never know when the last
moment you're going to have a time to spend time
with your kid. I want to make make every moment good.
Speaker 3 (02:31:41):
Facts. Yeah, no, you made a good movie. And thank
god I came home and Chelsea was was, you know,
alive and everything was good. What's up, Joni? How you
doing good?
Speaker 19 (02:31:52):
How are you?
Speaker 3 (02:31:53):
I can't believe you know that reference? That's crazy? What's
going on? Jony?
Speaker 25 (02:31:57):
I have a quick question for you, Mojoe. Do you
think you were the a whole for doing what you did?
Speaker 5 (02:32:03):
Because because in the past my relationship with my wife,
I have not made her the priority and I felt
like it was another one of those moments where in
the past it's been worse moments and that I started
thinking about that as I was driving. As I got
to zeb Rhodes exit there, Marian, I'm like, God, I
(02:32:25):
shouldn't I should just turn around. And then I thought,
you know what, Jacob was so excited when I talked
to him. And Jacob does not seem like the type
that would not tell me the truth of his excitement level.
Speaker 3 (02:32:38):
No, like that was the thing. So that's why I
felt that way.
Speaker 25 (02:32:41):
Okay, all right, as a mother of three boys, and
if I were ill and I would be so thankful
that my husband did that for my son because of
how you say your relationship is with the other two
and not him for you. That was amazing that you
did that for him and his boyfriend. I think that's
a beautiful thing that you did.
Speaker 3 (02:33:00):
So we had a great time.
Speaker 25 (02:33:01):
Absolute thing.
Speaker 5 (02:33:02):
Yeah, we had a great time. We had a great time,
and I love Chris and it was so much fun
getting a chance to hang with those guys.
Speaker 3 (02:33:07):
It was wild.
Speaker 5 (02:33:08):
I will tell you I have one thing though, I'm
gonna bring it up as a topic later this week.
I think I'm I think I'm allergic to my my
grand dog. They have a dog together, and that dog
made me Itch and scratch. It's I don't even know it,
like it looks like a mutt. You don't like any dogs. No,
but I started itching and it's cratching. I had hair
all over me. I was like what, but I was there.
(02:33:29):
I was taking it like a champ. I was sneezing
and I thought I was getting sick from Chelsea's room.
Know their house is clean, Believe it or not. Their
house is clean. They've got a little couple too many
figurines and things like they like you. They have like
they have like crazy stuff all over the place. Talk
about Joe and his Star Wars stuff. These guys, Oh
my god, it's like crazy. But but they're cute. They're
(02:33:53):
they're they're they're two good, good guys. I love them
all right, Grand Rabbit.
Speaker 2 (02:34:01):
Heard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.
Speaker 1 (02:34:06):
Mojo in the Morning Guaranteed human.
Speaker 5 (02:34:09):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. This is
the breaking and Entering Christmas Wish. Go to Mojo's wish
dot org if you'd like to grant a wish. Bianca
is out this morning with a very special young lady.

Speaker 7 (02:34:32):
Yes, I am. We got a whole little group out here.

it's like the coldest one I think we've done so far.
Speaker 5 (02:34:39):
Madeleine is super such a cutie. She's a college student
who wrote to us a letter saying that her dad
left and mom is now raising the kids by herself
and dealing with the stress of that. Has faced some
financial hardships, even had her car repossessed. Madeleine, are you there?
Speaker 33 (02:35:00):
I am?
Speaker 3 (02:35:01):
How are you doing there, beautiful?
Speaker 34 (02:35:03):
I'm good?
Speaker 3 (02:35:04):

Speaker 5 (02:35:05):
Let's get Let's get in your home. Can you walk
us up to your house? And let's surprise mom. What
would mom be doing right now at this time of
the morning.
Speaker 7 (02:35:13):
He's probably getting the kids ready to go to school.
Speaker 27 (02:35:15):
Right about now?
Speaker 11 (02:35:16):
Okay, And by the way, when we talk about kids
guests today, well, who's with us?
Speaker 3 (02:35:22):
Real quick?
Speaker 5 (02:35:22):
I want to ask her a question about the kids?
How many kids? How many are in your family?
Speaker 7 (02:35:28):
Probably about like like six or seven of us?
Speaker 3 (02:35:31):
Know how many kids? How many how many siblings?
Speaker 14 (02:35:36):
Five of us?
Speaker 5 (02:35:37):
Five of you guys, okay, yeah, go ahead. Who's our
special guest, Bianca.
Speaker 7 (02:35:41):
Well, we got a damn for the Detroit Pistons and
we also got Hooper out here.
Speaker 3 (02:35:48):
That's awesome, the Detroit Pistons.
Speaker 6 (02:35:50):
Hi, right now, Hie Hooper Santa Hannah.
Speaker 3 (02:35:54):
I love it. Yeah, we're live right now.
Speaker 5 (02:35:57):
Watch watch this. I'm going to load up my face
book live and you can go on TikTok. You can
go onto twitch, you can go to YouTube TikTok.
Speaker 3 (02:36:07):
I said that. All right, go ahead, let's go, let's walk.
Speaker 37 (02:36:09):
I don't even think we need to wait for anyone
to answer the door.
Speaker 3 (02:36:13):
Just let us in.
Speaker 7 (02:36:14):
Yep, all right, let us say girl, thank.
Speaker 26 (02:36:18):
You, Hi, good morning.
Speaker 14 (02:36:23):
Hi.
Speaker 16 (02:36:24):
Whoa what are you?
Speaker 33 (02:36:26):
Danielle?
Speaker 7 (02:36:26):
Yeah, Hi Danielle, the moje in the morning.
Speaker 19 (02:36:29):
He actually have moj on this phone with you right now.
Speaker 3 (02:36:32):
Hi, Danielle, Danielle, Hey, how are you?
Speaker 7 (02:36:42):
Little got off guard right now?
Speaker 4 (02:36:43):
Yeah?
Speaker 29 (02:36:44):
I have a six two year old right now.
Speaker 15 (02:36:46):
He's been up since one o'clock this morning.
Speaker 3 (02:36:47):
Oh my god. Well, we're gonna make We're gonna make
this quick.
Speaker 5 (02:36:52):
If you're okay with that, Danielle, we got a letter
about you being the best mom in the world from
your Madeleine for our breaking and entering Christmas wish.
Speaker 29 (02:37:04):
He told me you went outside.
Speaker 7 (02:37:06):
I didn't believe in.
Speaker 3 (02:37:08):
Danielle, I want you to listen to Madeleine reading this letter.
Speaker 34 (02:37:12):
Okay, dear Mojoe in the morning, we would like to
nominate our amazing mom for the Breaking and Entering Christmas
because not only is she truly the strongest, most selfless
person we know.
Speaker 15 (02:37:25):
There are five of us, all ranging from the ages
of twenty one down to just two, with.
Speaker 34 (02:37:30):
Being being the oldest and Grayson being the youngest. No
matter how difficul life has been these last two years,
our mom has never stopped showing up for us with love,
passion and determination. Sent her divorce, she faced one challenge
after another when our dad filed for bankruptcy, her car
(02:37:50):
was repossessed, something that she had worked so hard to
keep overnight, her bills had doubled, and the way of
breathing five children so entirely on her shoulders. Trying to
balance the bills and taking care of five kids, she
has never once complained or as anyone for help. Instead,
she picks herself up every single day and works two
(02:38:12):
full time jobs just to make sure we have what
we need. Despite being exhaust some her two jobs, she
still finds a way to make our home feel warm.
She even finds a way to listen when we need
to talk, shutting up the school events when she can,
and finding small ways to make her smile. She puts
herself less in every possible way now because she has to,
(02:38:36):
because she loves us that much. On top of everything,
she's also paying for one of our college tuitions, making
sure we get the education we need, even though it's
another financial strain that she carries alone. So you can
see this till it takes on her, the tired eyes,
the contents rus that.
Speaker 15 (02:38:58):
She still keeps going. We brave her heart because we
know how much she sacrifices. This year has spent especially
hard on.
Speaker 34 (02:39:07):
Our mom, and we love nothing more than hard to
feel seen, appreciated and even supporting, even if.
Speaker 15 (02:39:16):
It's eluca ad Day.
Speaker 34 (02:39:18):
Our mom deserves a Christmas where she shouldn't have to worry,
where she can breathe, and where good things she deserves
can finally happen to her instead of her having to
make everything happen for everyone else. Thank you for considering
our mom. We hope you can help us bring some
joy and release to the woman who goes everything for.
Speaker 15 (02:39:37):
Us without ever asking for anything. In resten with love
and gratitude, Madeleine.
Speaker 5 (02:39:45):
Wow, Danielle, you are such a great example to those
kids too. Always work hard, do the right things, and
you hear it in this letter that Madeleine wrote, I.
Speaker 9 (02:39:58):
Mean she's aware.
Speaker 5 (02:40:00):
I mean she's eighteen years old and she's literally so
grown up for knowing.
Speaker 3 (02:40:06):
All that you do for her.
Speaker 10 (02:40:08):
The one line in that letter that sticks out to me, Madeline,
is that you want your mom to feel seen.
Speaker 3 (02:40:15):
Yeah, you have such a beautiful family, that precious.
Speaker 5 (02:40:25):
I'm watching you hold your precious grace in there, and
I really want you to know that we love that
you're letting us come into your home and we want
to make sure that he's okay and safe.
Speaker 3 (02:40:34):
But we also want you to know broken.
Speaker 37 (02:40:39):
No knocks and all guard yeah, and walk around and
then the door opens.
Speaker 3 (02:40:48):
We want you to worry for nothing this morning.
Speaker 5 (02:40:50):
So we want you to have a Christmas that you
don't have to worry about the stress of going and
figuring out where you're going to find money to be
able to get your kids. We're taking care of it.
This year, and we're granting Madeline's Christmas wish for you.
Speaker 6 (02:41:06):
Thank you so much.
Speaker 19 (02:41:09):
But here's the run right, Okay, it's okay, okay, hoppy
right now, I'm.
Speaker 37 (02:41:15):
So big because I made her cry, where's your brother Dean?
Speaker 19 (02:41:20):
Yeah he's they're sleeping sisters of course. Yeah, yeah, you know.
Being twenty one.
Speaker 3 (02:41:28):
Danielle introduced us to the entire family. So Dean is
twenty one.
Speaker 19 (02:41:33):
Yeah, Dean's twenty one.
Speaker 29 (02:41:34):
And then I have Madeline, cybral is downstairs and Sophie.
They're looking for a sweatshirt.
Speaker 7 (02:41:40):
Okay, so Cyrus's my foster.
Speaker 29 (02:41:44):
She's seventeen, Sophie is thirteen. And then we have Grayson here,
who's two.
Speaker 5 (02:41:49):
Wow, Grayson's Grayson's such a great name, and it's such
a cutie pie.
Speaker 3 (02:41:53):
My gosh, thank you. I want you.
Speaker 5 (02:41:57):
I want you to know every one of the kids
are getting taken care of. Got gifts for the big
adult ones, the you know, the gifts that they want. Madeline,
I want you to know that you're getting everything you wanted.
I heard that your biggest want was a kitchen aid mixer.
We're going to make sure you get that because you
love to do some baking and some furniture stuff for
your dorm, and we're going.
Speaker 3 (02:42:19):
To make sure you get that.
Speaker 5 (02:42:19):
We're going to make sure that Dean gets everything that
he needs, you know, including the gaming systems and all
the rest of that stuff, a fishing pole so that
he can go fishing. And then we want to make
sure that Sophie and Grace and get all the kid
gifts that they want, because I think that's really important.
But one of the biggest things that we wanted to
make sure Danielle, we want to make sure after what
(02:42:40):
you've been put through and now being a single mom,
with all the stress of these bills, we want to
make sure that you have the money to get through it.
And that's why Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish is writing
you a check to help you with some of your
mortgage payments and to help you with the bills that
you have coming in that are piling up.
Speaker 19 (02:43:00):
She's crying around, She's it's okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (02:43:10):
Our friends at Kroger heard about this, and Kroger wants
you to have all the food that you need for
the holidays. So I know there's a Kroger nearby, you'll
be able to go and get carts full of food
for all those kids, and make sure that your home
is warm, comfortable and has the spirit of the holiday season.
Speaker 3 (02:43:29):
And this is a new life for you. This is
a new world for you.
Speaker 5 (02:43:33):

things are going to happen to Danielle.

does for a community. You can have a situation like
this where you, as a mom are struggling to wonder
what's going to happen the next day, but you go
to a sporting event and you get to see what
so much fun is happening in our city. And that's
why the Detroit Pistons are hosting you in your entire
(02:45:06):

special guest on what could be a very magical season
for these guys this year.
