Speaker 1 (00:01):
Why Detroit, gonx most a Grand Rabbit, five s n
X nine five f M. I heard radio stations, real people,
real lives, real fun. Mojo in the Morning, guaranteed human.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Mojo.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Let me take you all back to the beginnings.
Speaker 4 (00:33):
Alrighty ready, you're.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
Listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (00:37):
You're a dodo.
Speaker 5 (00:38):
Heck, we have such a great show planned for you today.
Speaker 6 (00:47):
I promise you, guys this, you'll.
Speaker 5 (00:49):
Laugh during today's show because you know what, it's at
the point now where I think that we've all gotten
delirious over the amount of hours. The last month and
a half has been a lot of hours that we've
been putting into this saying. I was realizing this yesterday
as I was driving home from the radio station. And
for those that don't know this, you know you drive
to work every single day. I don't know what your
(01:11):
commute time is, but mine's like forty five minutes to
sometimes over an hour, depending on how traffic was.
Speaker 6 (01:16):
Last yesterday was my most longest.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
I don't know if that's the proper English chin, and
you're the one that helps me with that, but driving
to the station for the holiday party yesterday took me
an hour and a half to get here because of
rush hour traffic, and so I left my house yesterday.
Speaker 6 (01:34):
The party was at five thirty. It started.
Speaker 5 (01:37):
I left my house at like four twenty or something
like that, four fifteen, and then you didn't get here
until you had four twenty six seven. Is that still
going on for the children? Actually, actually I left at
six seven or seven o six. It was the Christmas
party yesterday. It was Yeah, it was the holiday Christmas
party that we had. But the traffic to get downtown,
(02:01):
the rush hour was crazy. But I realize this. I
have been doing the drive like I'm going way over
miles Mike Porter at Gordon Shovlefe, I ain't hitting that.
And I even bought extra. I did fifteen thousand miles
a year. I think I'm going I think I'm gonna
do like twenty five thousand miles this year.
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Somebody's listening. They can roll it back for you. Sorry, Mike,
you can find me one of those guys off of
a brash we got you do they have a guy
that does that.
Speaker 7 (02:24):
Or plenty a lot of guys.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
I used to have a guy that I used to
I'm not gonna say his name, but you know he
would drive me to and from different things all the time,
shout out to Tea. I won't say the rest of
his name, and he used to go Mojo Bro, I've.
Speaker 6 (02:41):
Got the guy. I don't think nowadays that you can
do it as much as you could do in the
past because of the technology that's in these cars, but
especially on Star and stuff like that.
Speaker 5 (02:52):
But I digress. I think that I have done the
drive to and from in the last month. Normally it
would only be it'd be ten times a week, right
because it would be twice a day, five days a
week because we don't work Saturdays and Sundays. I think
I've done the drive over the last couple of months,
like forty eight times or something. Wow, And it's been
(03:14):
like a month and a half of that because there's
been so many times.
Speaker 6 (03:16):
I've had different events.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
I know, you got games and stuff going on, but
I've had some charity events and then some holiday stuff
going to the concert, jingle Ball concert, and then I
contemplated it. My only problem with moving down here, and
this is really nothing to Detroit, because I love Detroit.
My only problem is on the weekends, I have a
routine and it's one of those things where the weekend
(03:41):
routine is not necessarily hanging in Detroit, like during the
week would be fine, but on the weekends, like especially
in the summertime, like golf and stuff, there's no golf.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
I'm in a golf era in Detroit, don't we Yeah,
you said don't.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
It's as good as the ones by me, like I know,
but as like Detroit Country Club and stuff like that.
Unless they want to give me an honorary membership, I'll
take it. But the other no. But the the other
thing too is like, I don't know, give us a
look behind the lens. What is this routine that you're
scared to?
Speaker 7 (04:12):
So honestly, Starbucks he loves, delivers to his house.
Speaker 5 (04:18):
Well, now Chelsea won't let me do it. So I
go to the Starbucks and Waterford off of Crescent Lake
Road in M fifty nine. Okay, that's one ding? Should
I ding in that one? Everybody there? I usually occasionally
Chelsea and I will grab lunch at Steve's Deli.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
There's no way you can miss this.
Speaker 6 (04:40):
Dinner at Red Robin on M five. But you are
imagine you.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Are such a creature of habit.
Speaker 9 (04:50):
I understand this because one of my memories of Mojo.
I swear I was in high school and I saw
you at that Starbucks?
Speaker 6 (04:58):
Did you know you've been going? Really, that's the closest
to my house. I'm right there.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
So so it's one of those things where I guess
in Detroit, I mean, I guess there's a Starbucks that
right there by Campus Marshes I could probably go to.
Speaker 6 (05:12):
But by the way, that's not a great one one
in the West. Is that really a real one?
Speaker 5 (05:18):
Or is that like a Target Stars Downtown Target Starbucks?
Speaker 6 (05:21):
To me, sock?
Speaker 8 (05:22):
What about the one across from Cobo or Huntington. Is
that that's still the Target? I mean that's still Starbucks too.
Speaker 10 (05:28):
Is there really changed?
Speaker 7 (05:30):
I don't.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (05:31):
Are you sure it's called social bruise?
Speaker 11 (05:33):
Now?
Speaker 6 (05:33):
Yea? All right?
Speaker 5 (05:34):
But but here's the thing. I my problem is this.
For thirty years almost of my life, I've lived in
the same neighborhood, you know, when I moved So I'm
so I moved to that same neighborhood Waterford West Bloomfield,
And when Chelsea and I were looking for a house,
we looked within a mile and a half square mile area.
I mean, you're kind of a creature of this too,
(05:55):
because you you live in the same area too. I
like the area that I live, And it was always
because I wanted to keep my kids in the same
schools and I didn't want them to move, and then
we ended up throwing them into Catholic school and so
it didn't matter. But so I guess it was that
like the drive yesterday coming down made me say to
Chelse I was on the phone though with her the
whole way, like honestly, it was most we probably communicated
(06:17):
because it was such a long drive. I said to her, ago,
you know, this may have to happen, because the whole
idea was At one point when they said they were
moving downtown, I got told by some of the radio
people that in other markets, like Elvis Duran was one
of them, you should build a studio in your house
and you just have the whole show come over to
your house, like that was what they said.
Speaker 6 (06:36):
Yeah, I would have to drive and then you would
have to drive it.
Speaker 5 (06:38):
I know, and I because that's what he kind of
does or he does it, And I said to him,
I go, honestly no, and then he said to me,
he goes, you know what you should do? You should
talk to Bob and you should see a bobble that
you have a studio more centrally located than the And
I'm like, no, that defeats the purpose of us having
a studio.
Speaker 6 (06:56):
So instead I'm going to live with Kevin. Yeah, let's
get it.
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Let's get a better place. I will get what's the
guy's name, Carl Corey. You know what did Corey call?
Speaker 8 (07:08):
I came in yesterday to my place and I want
to heat something up in the microwave, and I noticed
the clock on my oven was blinking, which means that
someone unplugged. So I pulled it back and they fixed it.
Ashamed them, and then lady said, you were on the
no I walked out because I had to leave, and
(07:30):
I saw I was like, hey, what's up.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
How you doing. She's like, great show today. I said,
you heard you.
Speaker 10 (07:36):
Better give them a nice Christmas.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
They did what they were supposed to do.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
You know what, though I would be scared of what
he also did. She's like, you were on the list.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
I was like, yeah, okay, is good.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
That actually is interesting. You know what it is. It's
the power of the blow torch. Right here, It's called
the radio. We sall this the blow torch man.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
What we're burning this socker down baby, the power of
this the microphone. I used to say this all the
time that if you want to make something happen, you
pull out the old megaphone.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Attention, please, attention, please choppers. I got something. I got
to talk about something there right now. Yeah, so that
that's cool. I like that they did that. And if
you missed that podcast from yesterday, we were talking about
why you're not paying your rent or why you don't
want to pay your rent things that you know are happening.
I could not believe people gave like cav Hey, here's
(08:32):
the deal. Put money in an escrow account and then
you can don't have to pay your rent. Legitimate legal advice.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
How do I, uh, how do I pull something like
that off? To get me a place downtown? Here's the deal.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
I know you and Anna live live down here, and
you live and for those that are in Grand Raps
or Toledo, we're broadcasting in Detroit in a place called
Eastern Market, which is not that far from if you
go to ever Lions games or Pistons games or Tigers games,
where like you know, basically a short uber ride because
I wouldn't walk that because I'd be afraid i'd get killed.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
From all the stadiums and stuff and uh.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
And you guys, which is kind of funny because you
live in like, you know, in this area and urban area,
and I guess if I was in Chicago or New York,
I probably would think that, Oh, it'd be cool because
I can walk to work. But you really, our studios
where we're located are not a walkable set of studios
unless you're hanging in just Eastern Market, right am? I?
Speaker 12 (09:30):
Right?
Speaker 6 (09:31):
Have you ever walked here?
Speaker 9 (09:32):
I have because I go to the market on Saturdays.
I don't because we're I would not walk here at
four am?
Speaker 6 (09:39):
Did you get mugged? Is that why your lip looks
like that? By the way, are you what is that?
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Is that a shade?
Speaker 6 (09:48):
I'm getting a new face for my thirties, black ice.
Speaker 9 (09:52):
I was getting like a lot of botox put in
and I'm getting old filler dissolved out of my face.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
Wait, they have to dissolve old filler.
Speaker 10 (10:00):
Yeah, so they were dissolving yesterday.
Speaker 6 (10:02):
And that's why, Oh my god, I'm a horrible friend.
Speaker 5 (10:08):
Because I'm a horrible friend because if something like horrible
was happening to you in a domestic situation, I would
probably not ask about it because I'm afraid to ask
about it.
Speaker 6 (10:17):
But good, all right, that's you.
Speaker 10 (10:20):
But no, I didn't get mugged, and I have walked
here before.
Speaker 6 (10:24):
Yeah, I like to.
Speaker 8 (10:25):
I've thought about taking a bird before. Obviously the weather
would have to be more conducive. But I will be
burden in the summer probably, so wait, you would tell
So I see a guy. There's a guy every day
when I'm coming here that had that gets on a
bird and he parks it right by the the uh
Shannon's cousin's bar right over here by the Burger place.
Speaker 6 (10:43):
What's it called.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Full Measure Brewery. It's my uncle ding ding Ding So
her uncle has that bar there, and the guy parks
the bird there. This is the only thing that I
would think about, the bird. What if I come out
and the bird is not bar for the the bird thing?
Speaker 12 (11:01):
What is it?
Speaker 6 (11:01):
It's like a scooter right yeah, QR code. Anybody can
get it.
Speaker 5 (11:05):
Yeah, you run that risk. I mean if somebody steals
my bird, can I hide my bird?
Speaker 12 (11:10):
Like?
Speaker 8 (11:10):
Well, nobody they make you put it in certain zones. Yeah,
you don't have to pay it all time. No, no,
you have to pay, but like you, you unlock it.
That's when your your time starts. You have to pay,
and then you lock it when you get off. But
you got to like put it in a certain zone.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
Shannon knows this because if there was a time when
I wanted this before you guys started on the show,
I wanted on those vest bas.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
Have you ever heard of those vests? I've heard of it.
Speaker 7 (11:34):
I want to so bad with a little wicker basket one, Okay,
I do. Look, however, you can't.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
I can't.
Speaker 8 (11:47):
For Christmas, my god, there's absolutely no You understand.
Speaker 7 (11:53):
One's so bad.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
You understand what you would be on that thing righting around? Yeah,
and you'd probably fall in your face because remember you
didn't you fall on your face on one of those
birds before you looked?
Speaker 7 (12:05):
Oh this was ripe. Okay, it was not a funny situation.
It was funny at first, but I was a little
intoxicated and riding a bird screwter downtown with my girlfriend Ashley,
and I hit a like a part in the sidewalk
where it was uneven When I say, I flew over
the handlebars and I screwed up my How bad was my.
Speaker 11 (12:27):
Now?
Speaker 7 (12:28):
I looked worse than Anna the whole side of my face.
And you know what happened when she came and then
I broke my cheek bowe.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
She came in.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
I'm like, you look great today.
Speaker 7 (12:41):
It was horrible. I will never ride one of those again.
Speaker 6 (12:44):
Ye Shannon with her vespa with the little basket in there,
the helmet that, huh, isn't this the this is with
the basket right here? Look at the basket on.
Speaker 7 (12:57):
The ba Oh yeah. Somebody in my neighborhood has some
room and it's green and it has a basket on
the back that it's so cute.
Speaker 5 (13:04):
So I looked into the vestpas and I realized my
community that I live in West Blomfield is not an
area for it. Like there's not a really area that
you could ride it. Even though you can put a
license plate on it and drive it. I'd get myself killed.
People in my neighborhood, some people in my neighborhood they
try to drive golf carts on the road. I'm like,
you guys are crazy. What's up?
Speaker 4 (13:22):
Amy?
Speaker 13 (13:23):
Hi, good morning, guys, how are you good?
Speaker 6 (13:25):
What's going on?
Speaker 14 (13:26):
Most of that guy you see every day on the
bird probably got a dui and.
Speaker 13 (13:30):
Can't drive any.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Can you.
Speaker 15 (13:34):
Actually it's just a scooter, right, it's not.
Speaker 5 (13:36):
More rise it's elected. Yeah, I wonder maybe, but well,
that's actually interesting. I should ask him one day. I'm
going to stop up next.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
To the guy.
Speaker 6 (13:46):
I'm gonna be like, Hey, anything you want to tell me?
Speaker 12 (13:50):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 6 (13:50):
But it's true though.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
I guess if you did get one, you know what,
out there would be another area if I've moved down here,
you know what I would want to amy. You ever
see these guys in cities that are like on a
bike and they'll be like, I'll drive you to where
you're going. I got in one of those in Chicago
one time, and the guy literally tried to charge me
twice because he said I was over three hundred pounds.
Speaker 6 (14:07):
Oh really, I swear to you.
Speaker 13 (14:09):
Wow, it's just cheaper to uber at that point. Those
people aren't cheap.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
I got in on the thing Michigan Avenue at the
end where the lake is. There's a place called the
Drake Hotel. Right by the Drake Hotel. Had him take
me all the way to the river where the Apple
store is in Chicago and the guy says, I have
to charge you double. This has been hard going on.
God talk about fat shaming. That was like, what is
(14:35):
going on here?
Speaker 6 (14:36):
Fat boy? All right, we gotta take a break. We'll
write back for twenty.
Speaker 16 (14:40):
How smart are you?
Speaker 17 (14:41):
It's in the mornings, back in the day.
Speaker 16 (14:43):
We have to go back and change where we give
you a bunch of events and you tell us what
year it happened.
Speaker 5 (14:48):
I have no idea why this is a clue, but
it's got to have some kind of a clip in
it that talks about guys balls. Professional bowler Pete Weber
won the Bowling US Open?
Speaker 6 (14:58):
Am I wrong?
Speaker 4 (14:59):
Yes?
Speaker 6 (15:04):
That's why. Why is the bowling guy in?
Speaker 4 (15:10):
He's a legend.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
Will Ferrell start in the campaign? Give you some crashtok okay.
Your mama's like a vacuum cleaner. She sucks, she blows
and gets laid in a closet.
Speaker 17 (15:21):
How you go.
Speaker 6 (15:25):
You's like a bathroom a toilet. No, yeah, and the
big songs.
Speaker 18 (15:32):
Call us and tell us what year that stuff happened?
Speaker 16 (15:35):
Eight four four Mojo Live eight.
Speaker 6 (15:37):
Four four six sixty five six five four eight justin
not Bieber from Shelby township. What is your last name? Justin?
I'm sorry, what is your last name?
Speaker 12 (15:48):
Sir? Sto?
Speaker 6 (15:51):
Justin? What year is that? I was not gonna take
it now, undulation, Yeah, let's go Siddle. Hey are you
Are you a fan of the Detroit Pistons. Oh yeah,
guess what you're going congratation.
Speaker 5 (16:10):
We're setting you up with tickets New Year's they're going
to be playing the Miami Heat and you got some tickets.
Congratulations to you. Thank you, guys, Hey, thank you, buddy.
I appreciate you listening. Have a great time, bities and.
Speaker 8 (16:24):
Gentlemen, you're listening to the amazing.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Job.
Speaker 6 (16:30):
All right, we are giving you Cardi B tickets. Now
text to win. Let's text. Uh, let's do picking a
song here, how about.
Speaker 4 (16:41):
Money? M O ny why money?
Speaker 5 (16:44):
Text money one of her songs there to nine five
zero zero, Just m O n e y to nine
five five zero zero and you can win tickets to
see Cardi B.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
In the mornings Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 5 (16:55):
A little late with the Dirty. We got a long
commercial break that we had to play. I was running
a little bit late. I apologize, but Shannon's got it.
Your first Dirty of the morning was.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Going on chancel.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
Well.
Speaker 7 (17:03):
Yesterday, Rob Reiner's son Nick, charged with two counts of
first degree murder for taking the lives of his parents.
This is La County DA Nathan Hockman talking about that.
Speaker 11 (17:14):
Today, I'm here to announce that our office will be
filing charges against Nick Reiner, who was accused of killing
his parents, actor director Rob Reiner and photographer producer Michelle
Singer Reiner. These charges will be two counts of first
degree murder with the special circumstance of multiple murders. He
(17:35):
also fasts a special allegation that he personally used a
dangerous and deadly weapon, that being a knife. These charges
carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the
possibility parole or the death penalty. No decision at this
point has been made with respect to the death penalty
(17:58):
we have requested, and currently Nick Reiner is being held
without bail.
Speaker 7 (18:03):
Now, those special circumstances that you just heard the DA
mention make Nick Reiner eligible for the death penalty. That's
how that figures into this. The announcement of the charges,
of course, comes two days after three days, two days
now after the couple was found dead from stab wounds
in their home. In the upscale Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Now on his way out of the courthouse. This is
(18:27):
Nick Reiner's attorney, Allen Jackson, talking to the press.
Speaker 6 (18:31):
Very very expensive attorney, by the way.
Speaker 7 (18:33):
Attorney for Kevin Spacey, attorney for Karen Reid. That really
popular kids and today I know we've talked about it
on the elevator.
Speaker 6 (18:40):
God, why is he here?
Speaker 19 (18:43):
They ask to be medically cleared before they could.
Speaker 6 (18:45):
Be transported to the court. He has not done medically
cleared of system.
Speaker 7 (18:49):
Yeah, so Nick wasn't there, and that was the question
of where where was he?
Speaker 5 (18:53):
Yeah, they're still checking out his you know, medical issues
that he's got, which is obviously his mental state.
Speaker 17 (19:01):
This guy.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
A lot of people are wondering where did the money come,
because obviously Nick Reiner wasn't working and he was living
off of his parents. Could be a trust fund that
they believe that he's taking a loan against. Maybe there's
a trust fund that's there that this guy, Alan Jackson
is going to be getting money from for defending him.
Could be he's also just doing it for the publicity
(19:24):
because he was a big prosecutor in LA.
Speaker 6 (19:27):
Now he's a big defense attorney.
Speaker 5 (19:29):
So can I throw a couple things in there because
I've been I watched that special that was on the
Rob Reiner Special that they had two of them, one
on ABC, but I also watched one that was on CNN.
Turns out, from what they were talking about on CNN,
Nick got into an argument of verbal argument with Bill Hayter.
Speaker 7 (19:46):
Yes, which I have a ton for the next hour, storty,
But yes.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
That argument led his mom and dad to have to
leave the party because they were so embarrassed by Nick.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
Left.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
The rumor that they're saying now is Nick then left
went and jed into a Malibu hotel for a night.
Then they believe, came back to the house because he
was still so pissed at his dad and mom that
he killed his dad and then killed his mom. And
then I guess the next day a mess SEUs came
(20:18):
yes and went to the house. Well, I guess didn't.
The rumor was didn't hear from them, was screaming up
to them and didn't go upstairs, called the daughter, and
the daughter is the one that found so they they
they are piecing all this together, trying to figure out
what's going on. But they believe that Nick was so
upset with the Bill Hayter conversation. I'm wondering what Bill
(20:39):
Hayter and him were arguing.
Speaker 7 (20:40):
The paparazzi caught up with Bill Heeter, well they I
shouldn't say caught up with him. Saw him out yesterday
and he just looked stressed, stressed to learn this news.
Speaker 5 (20:50):
I was watching some of these tapes with Nick. I've
been going back and I've sent a ton of this
audio to Shannon.
Speaker 6 (20:56):
But some of the past interviews that he had, I mean,
you could see where he seemed like he was doing
well in his life, and then you could see where
he wasn't doing so well in his life. It's really sad.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
I don't watch The Voice, but I know a lot
of you do. The Voice wrapping up at season twenty
eight finale last night and crowned twenty year old Aiden
Ross as the winner.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Do you have that?
Speaker 7 (21:17):
There's a clip of him singing from last day and
let me play. He's the pop soul singer Texas A
and M student part of Team Nile So he's court
coached by the former One Direction star Nile Horn.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
This is War.
Speaker 6 (21:33):
He did a duet last night Is this better than
Taylor Swift?
Speaker 7 (21:39):
The third straight victory for Nile Horn on that show.
Speaker 6 (21:42):
By the way, did you like his version of Last
Christmas better than the Taylor Swift?
Speaker 4 (21:45):
On them?
Speaker 6 (21:46):

Most in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 5 (22:43):
I'm not taking a break here right now because of
I saw Shannon during her dirty doing something interesting multitasking?
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Are you door dashing to us here or door dashing?
Speaker 7 (22:54):
I am door dashing to my home because my sweet
eleven year old Lucy Grace, who is in sick grade,
is having a holiday party in her homeroom today. I
was alerted to this news late last night. Anna, and
for whatever reason, she decided it was a great idea
to sign up for Starbucks Strawberry Asie lemonade refreshers for
(23:17):
every kid in her homeroom. Wow, great thing. I am
not doing that.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
How many How many kids are in the hometown?
Speaker 18 (23:27):
Well a lot?
Speaker 7 (23:28):
And I said to her, did you guys? Did somebody
make a list and that's what you signed her? And
she said no, everybody came up with their own thing
that they wanted to bring.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
Brought.
Speaker 7 (23:38):
I asked that question. Cookies, napkins, plates, somebody's bringing in
a carton of ice cream, like snacky things like what
I go? I said, Lucy, Honey, each of these things
is five dollars times however, many kids are in your homeroom,
that's a lot of money.
Speaker 6 (23:57):
I'll blame a teacher.
Speaker 7 (23:58):
So I don't think the teacher is aware of what
the kids are bringing I think the kids made this
plan themselves. Okay, so I am door dashing into my
house right now for Trent to start strawberry SIU lemonade refreshers.
And I pulled some plastic cups this morning and put
them in a bag and she can split them up
for everybody. There is no way.
Speaker 8 (24:20):
But you know why she's doing this though, right last,
to make up for your fumble at the party. By
the way, you thought that you thought you were getting
were imagine when.
Speaker 6 (24:30):
She has to.
Speaker 7 (24:33):
How expensive that would be?
Speaker 6 (24:34):
Sorry, no, I'm sorry, but you you know your kids.
Speaker 7 (24:38):
Get I'm not joking. That is my bird ash right now.
Speaker 20 (24:41):
Look at it.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
This is your You know your kids are at a
certain level Shannon, where I think that you got to
get them to think you got to do. How much
would it cost for talls for everybody? How much would
that come too late?
Speaker 7 (24:52):
It's heading to me right now, arriving at six fifty three.
It was done.
Speaker 5 (24:56):
By the way, Are there are there any parents here
whose kids you door down stuff to their school for them?
Speaker 7 (25:01):
I want to know, No, this is been door desk
to home.
Speaker 6 (25:03):
It's not even that.
Speaker 7 (25:04):
Does your child sign up for something that's sold over
the top ridiculous and they tell you two minutes before
they get into bed. All right, what am I supposed
to do? Because I get into bed at the same
time she does?
Speaker 6 (25:15):
What is your kids? Also?
Speaker 7 (25:16):
Okay, so let's say I don't know how many people
are in her homeroom, but let's just say real quick,
I'm going to do the strawberry strawberry I talls.
Speaker 6 (25:28):
So you did twenty of them, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (25:29):
There's one hundred bucks. When when somebody else gets to bring.
Speaker 5 (25:32):
In napkins, Janning, You're way wrong. You did talls, right, yeah, okay,
but I did it.
Speaker 7 (25:39):
I'm not doing this.
Speaker 5 (25:40):
I just did twenty talls without the service charge. It
is one hundred and thirty one dollars.
Speaker 7 (25:47):
When somebody else can go to Kroger and get the
napkins or the plates, No, one.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
Hundred and thirty one dollars without my service charge.
Speaker 7 (25:54):
And guess what am I getting cheaper?
Speaker 6 (25:55):
Wait? Guess with the delivery I no delivery features. I
guess there's to school. Guess what the tip is? The
tip is twenty six Well.
Speaker 7 (26:03):
Also, because you can't DoorDash to her school, so I
would have to DoorDash. That that's why I had to
DoorDash to home, so she's going to bring them four
biggies into school.
Speaker 6 (26:12):
Is the dasher even prepared to handle twenty talls?
Speaker 5 (26:15):
Listen, I can't get crazy even get a door dasher
to bring two coffees to me at home without spilling it.
Speaker 7 (26:22):
I love her, I love her heart. I love that
she wanted to do this for all the kids in
her class. But I'm trying to make her realize, like
that is very expensive, crazy and also just not possible.
Speaker 6 (26:33):
To candy canes.
Speaker 7 (26:35):
Right, I'm sure some kids signed up for candy canes
and she signs up.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
For store ball.
Speaker 10 (26:40):
I call her her dads. Do you think her dad
would do it?
Speaker 4 (26:44):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (26:45):
Damn, I'm just wondering.
Speaker 7 (26:48):
He would probably hire a barista to go do it him.
And guess what, this is mom's week, not dad's week.
This is mom's week. I almost want to call her.
Speaker 6 (27:00):
Hold on and saying, Brett, are you there?
Speaker 4 (27:01):
Brett?
Speaker 6 (27:02):
Yeah, what's going on?
Speaker 20 (27:04):
Britt?
Speaker 21 (27:05):
I was just gonna say, I work at Starbucks and
if this ever happens again.
Speaker 22 (27:09):
In the future, Shennon, you should just order all Tronto's
and get just the strawberry asy base because it is
just mixed.
Speaker 7 (27:16):
With water and then yourself and I did four with
no ice, so I'm hoping that that will get them.
Speaker 5 (27:24):
I don't know, brittany question for you? Why is it
my door dasher always spills my coffee? These bastards.
Speaker 23 (27:32):
That's a good question.
Speaker 10 (27:33):
She works for Starbucks.
Speaker 4 (27:36):
Is it you guys?
Speaker 6 (27:37):
But is it you guys putting it in the bag
or is it them taking it to the parking lot.
Speaker 22 (27:42):
I don't know because we don't do the door dash
at my store.
Speaker 6 (27:45):
Okay, all right, Uh, Elena, what's up? It's Mojo in
the morning.
Speaker 24 (27:50):
Hi.
Speaker 22 (27:52):
If you go in the true style at the grocery store,
the white strawberry cranberry juice is a great duke.
Speaker 6 (27:58):
Do you understand the lane?
Speaker 3 (28:01):
Wait?
Speaker 7 (28:01):
Which one?
Speaker 4 (28:02):
I mean?
Speaker 7 (28:02):
It's too late now.
Speaker 6 (28:05):
It's strawberry.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
If it's not in a Starbucks cup, these kids are
all going to look at Lucy with side eye.
Speaker 7 (28:10):
Guess what, Shannon, her dad is going to be her favorite?
And then you're what was I supposed to do? It's
too late. I'm about to get the alert that they're
at my house.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
I always prepared myself if I ever got divorced from Chelsea.
I was going to win my kids.
Speaker 7 (28:27):
Thank you Dash for Gloria.
Speaker 5 (28:29):
Okay, Gloria, ask them call there. Call your babysitter real
quick on the phone and just see if she if
they spilled it or anything.
Speaker 6 (28:36):
Glory.
Speaker 7 (28:37):
By the way, your babysitter, she's a saint.
Speaker 6 (28:39):
Deserves a great Christmas gift or something like this for
having to bring this to the school.
Speaker 5 (28:44):
There's some artists and chocolates. Ask your by the way,
is this the same group of kids that you had
to bring your favorite kitchen?
Speaker 12 (28:52):

Speaker 21 (28:56):

Speaker 5 (29:19):
She just signed her contract. Asked her what it looks like? Still, yeah,
your dad would have bought you all of them.
Speaker 7 (29:29):
I don't know that.
Speaker 10 (29:31):
You know what next year asked Uncle Mojo to buy that.
Speaker 6 (29:33):
That's right, Uncle Mojo, you know what, I would have
done it for you because if I'm your favorite, right, Yeah?
Speaker 7 (29:41):
I like that they just get delivered.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
Lucy What else could you have signed up for if
it wasn't the strawberry? As I ees, what could you
have done?
Speaker 10 (29:48):
Like popcorn or something?
Speaker 6 (29:51):
Why didn't you do popcorn? We could have easily gotten
you popcorn. They all want this? Oh my god, are
you going to get me fun of?
Speaker 12 (30:01):

Speaker 6 (30:02):
And if they make it, what you're gonna get made? Fool?
I've made a fool.
Speaker 4 (30:08):
Uh, Lucy.

We we're sending a barista to your school right now.
Are there any baristas right now? We're gonna send somebody. Yeah,
we're gonna we're gonna make sure hold on, hold on

Speaker 6 (30:22):

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Same thing you did? But I'm making money. What do
you think, Lisa?
Speaker 25 (30:52):

one big container and take the container.
Speaker 5 (30:57):

agree with everything that Shannon did. I just like to
give her a crap on this one. And I think
any parent that would door dash twenty or more talls
to their kid is unrealistic expectations for that child, although
I will tell you this, Uncle Mojo would do it.
Speaker 5 (37:52):
You know what it's funny is I think sometimes I

want you worried about anything other than getting healthy.

Speaker 5 (45:32):
So what we did is we did a whole bunch
of shopping and we made sure that your kids got
everything that's on their wish list, literally everything. And what
I mean that is we understand that Jackson, who's eight
years old, loves art, so we got an easel with watercolors,
clay markers, canvas, all the things that we will need.
(45:52):
Plus we understand he's a big soccer guy too, so
we got him everything he needs for soccer. Loves legos
and loves so so we made sure that he got
Sonic legos, so much stuff, Sonic betting, a race car,
remote control, plus all the toys that he would want
for Christmas and all the school supplies that he's going
(46:14):
to need for school too.
Speaker 7 (46:15):
And Christian, we know Christian, if you can hear me,
we know that you're a big Nintendo guy, So we

gifts for the two of you guys in there. Daniel excited,
he's still waking up.
Speaker 3 (46:44):
Daniel.
Speaker 6 (46:45):
We want to take care of a bunch of things
for Daniel.
Speaker 5 (46:48):
So one of the things we want to make sure
is that Daniel, we take care of a bunch of
things that you're going to need while you're recovering right
now and while you're fighting your battle. So we want
to make sure you got all your TV subscriptions. We
want to make sure that you your bedroom is warm
and cozy, so we're going to get you all new
stuff for your bedroom. We also understand that you're a
(47:08):
guy that does love sports, and we understand that you

to this weekend's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaker 25 (47:34):
Okay, but cheers are rolling on and everything.
Speaker 7 (47:38):
Taken care of, some tickets to parking, to all the
things we got you.
Speaker 12 (47:43):
Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (47:45):
This is crazy.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
Here's a rolling right now.
Speaker 7 (47:47):
But we actually just sound Jackson.
Speaker 15 (47:48):
Jackson's came down.

in more stuff, guys, We're.
Speaker 10 (48:13):

Speaker 5 (48:18):
I also want to mention that along with the Lions,
the Detroit Pistons have been giving every family and are
breaking entering Christmas wish tickets to go to a game
so you guys will also go to see the Pistons.
But most importantly than anything that we have financially, we
want to make sure that you, Jackson and Christian don't
worry about anything. Kroger is going to be providing you
(48:41):
with all the food that you're going to need for
the months to come, with hundreds of dollars in gift
cards to make sure that you have all the food
that you guys need and also break breaking and entering.
Christmas Wish wants to write you a check, a check
that is big enough to be able to pay your bills,
so that you don't have to worry about your bills
being paid.
Speaker 17 (49:00):
Okay right now, Yeah, okay, I do feel good.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Adam, it's amazing.
Speaker 15 (49:08):
It's a big soccer, but it's amazing.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
When we grant Christmas wishes for men, that's different than
granting for women. There's a lot of pride that happens
with guys. A lot of guys don't want to show
the emotion outwardly like some of the women do. But
I will see tell you, I'm watching this video, I
can see it on your face. I want you to
understand you got nothing to worry about when Mojo in
(49:31):
the morning and our breaking entering Christmas wish comes into
play here. We want to take care of you and
your boys, and we want you just to focus on
your health and focus on loving those two guys.
Speaker 7 (49:42):
And have the merriest Christmas with them.
Speaker 6 (49:45):
Yes, definitely.
Speaker 17 (49:49):
This question.
Speaker 5 (49:53):
I asked our listeners. When listeners ask us what can
we do to help a family, I ask you say
a prayer for Daniel.
Speaker 6 (50:01):
I wish thank you merry Christmas here, thank you.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
I appreciate everything he did.
Speaker 15 (50:09):

Speaker 6 (50:16):
We love you guys. Hey, Fallon, Hi, it's.
Speaker 4 (50:18):
Mojo, Hi, Mojo.
Speaker 15 (50:21):
I just wanted to call and say that I've worked.
Speaker 13 (50:23):
I'm part of Daniel's care team, and there is not
a person is.
Speaker 4 (50:27):
There that more.
Speaker 23 (50:30):
Everything he is going through.
Speaker 33 (50:31):
I don't think I've ever seen that man without a.
Speaker 15 (50:34):
Smile on his face.
Speaker 5 (50:35):
Wow, Wow, Fallin, coming from you, coming from the people
that are are working to make him healthy. To know
that you're calling us up and telling us that I
knew already this was a great guy, But that tells us.
Speaker 6 (50:49):
Even more what kind of a human being he is.
That he goes in every single day and he has
that smile on his face.
Speaker 13 (50:56):
Yes he does. I'm just you guys do things all
year long, but.
Speaker 6 (51:01):
This one really got to me.
Speaker 5 (51:04):
H do me a favorite Fallon next time he's in
for his treatments. I want you to literally just let
him know the love that our listeners are pouring for him,
because I'm watching these comments that are coming in on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube,
all these message boards and our text at ninety five
five zero zero, and everybody says that they're praying for
(51:25):
this guy.
Speaker 6 (51:26):
I sure will Merry Christmas to you, Fallon.
Speaker 15 (51:30):
Merry Christmas.
Speaker 1 (51:30):
Thank you guys, thank you, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays.
Speaker 3 (51:37):
Whatever the hell I'm supposed to say, have a good day.
This is Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 6 (51:44):
Hey, you want to grab Santa sack Hi?
Speaker 5 (51:47):
I want to and I want to grab it and
I want to hold it and say, you fat bastard
never brought me a big wheel.
Speaker 7 (51:54):
When I was seven, I thought you had a big wheel.
Speaker 3 (51:56):
I was.
Speaker 6 (51:58):
I had the Green Machine. Great memory you have there, Shannon.
Speaker 7 (52:02):
I know I may be getting old, but I do
still remember something.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
I got the I got the Green Machine for my
eighth Christmas, my eight ero Christmas because I didn't get
the big wheel for my seventh and I was very
upset by that whole thing. So I wrote Santa a
letter and they never ever forget this. My letter was,
dear fat bastard, I will come after you and your family. Actually,
(52:30):
I remember I was so upset. My mom was like,
oh my god, what is it that you want this year?
And then it was like the green machine was the
big thing, and I got a green machine. And rest's history.
Speaker 7 (52:40):
Guy, Christmas. How many times you actually write that?
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Probably a few, and then it broke. The worst is
getting a green machine in winter and it's snow outside.
Speaker 4 (52:50):
You can't.
Speaker 5 (52:51):
I would write in our basement though we had a
We had a basement with like concrete floors and stuff. Fine,
I grab Sanda Sack for your share at five thousand
dollars or lions tickets.
Speaker 3 (53:04):
Lo Joord in the mornings, Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 6 (53:07):
Right, Channon with what's trying to aim well?
Speaker 7 (53:09):
The night before Rob Roner, Oh my goodness, gracious, Rob Reiner,
excuse me, and his wife Michelle were found murdered in
their home. The family had attended a Christmas party hosted
by Conan O'Brien, and there was some drama, and you
may have heard part of this story already. So it
was Michelle, Rob and their thirty two year old son, Nick,
(53:29):
And according to multiple people who were at Conan's party
right off the bat, Nick's behavior was really strange and erratic.
It made guests uncomfortable. People were trying to steer clear
of him because of this behavior, and at one point
he went over to former SNL star and comedian Bill
(53:50):
Hayter and interrupted a conversation that Bill Hayter was having
with somebody. And Bill turned to Nick Reiner and said, Hey,
we're trying to talk and this conversation is private. Nick
got really upset. He stood still, didn't say anything, and
then made this big scene and loudly stormed out of
(54:12):
the party, a moment that really stood out to everybody
who was there. Earlier in the night, Nick had also
gotten into a loud argument with his dad, prompting Rob
and Michelle Reiner to leave the party together and leave
Nick there, and witnesses said their behavior had concerned guests
and even their own family members. In the hours leading
(54:32):
up to the shocking murders. The next afternoon, Robin Michelle
found dead in their appront went home and Nick was
arrested and charged with those murders.
Speaker 6 (54:41):
You want the ABC Nightly News, I did tell you, I.
Speaker 7 (54:45):
Tell you to play that. I'm sorry. I probably repeated
some of the stuff, but.
Speaker 6 (54:47):
Yeah, no, And this is with the DA coming out
with charges.
Speaker 35 (54:50):
The attorney revealing Rob Reiner's son, Nick Reiner, will face
first three murder charges in the deaths of his parents,
Rob and Michelle Reiner. And for the first time tonight,
we're now seeing in is showing police arresting Nick Reiner
near usc hours after the murders were first reported. Nick
Reiner accused of fatally stabbing his parents with a knife.
He is currently being held without bail, Sources telling ABC
(55:11):
News tonight, the bodies of Rob and Michelle Reiner were
discovered by their daughter in their home in Brentwood, and
we're learning more tonight about the final hours leading up
to those horrific murders. Sources say Rob Reiner and his
son Nick got into an argument at a holiday party
Saturday night, where some say Nick Reiner was seen acting strangely.
For years, Nick Reiner has spoken openly about his battle
(55:32):
with addiction. In one interview, saying quote, I'm lucky I
have parents that care about me. ABC's Trevorol leading us
off from Los Angeles tonight.
Speaker 36 (55:41):
Tonight for the first time, we're seeing the moment. Nick Reiner,
the son of star director Rob Reiner, was taken into
custody late Sunday, handcuffed, surrounded by LAPD and US marshals,
just hours after his parents were found stabbed to death.
Late today, the LA District Attorney announcing the charges to
count of first degree murder.
Speaker 11 (56:01):
Rob Reiner was a brilliant actor and director, an iconic
force in our entertainment industry for decades. His wife, Michelle
Singer Reiner, was aequally iconic photographer and producer. Their loss
is beyond tragic, and we will commit ourselves to bringing
(56:27):
their murderer to justice.
Speaker 36 (56:28):
The DA says Nick Reiner stabbed his parents to death
with a knife. He's now awaiting medical clearance before his arraignment.
The thirty two year old has higher high profile criminal
defense attorney Alan Jackson, who most recently defended Karen Reid
as she was acquitted of murder.
Speaker 16 (56:43):
Every single inmate goes through a medical clearance before they.
Speaker 36 (56:46):
Could be transported to everyone, okay, and that's a process.
Speaker 16 (56:49):
It's just a procedural issue, and he has not yet
been medically clear.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
So we will be here houefully tomorrow.
Speaker 36 (56:55):
And we're learning more details about the hours leading up
to those gruesome murders. Sources say Saturday night, Rob Reiner
and his son got into an argument at Conan O'Brien,
acting strangely. The next afternoon, sources say Reiner's daughter found
her parents' bodies inside their Brentwood home.
Speaker 37 (57:13):
This case is heartbreaking and deeply personal, not only for
the Reiner family and their loved ones, but for our
entire city.
Speaker 36 (57:20):
A former security guard tell's ABC Nick Reiner had been
staying on the Reiners property. Nick has been open about
struggling with drug addictions since he was a teenager. In
a twenty eighteen podcast, he described how he once destroyed
his parents guest house while high on meth.
Speaker 38 (57:35):
I was up for days on end, and I started
punching out different things in my guest house.
Speaker 12 (57:42):
I think I started with the TV, and then I
went over to the lamp, and then.
Speaker 3 (57:47):
Progressively I just everything in the guest house got wrecked.
They told me I had to.
Speaker 36 (57:51):
Go a decade before the murders. When Nick and his
father were promoting their film Inspired by Nick Struggles, he
said he was grateful for his parent's patience.
Speaker 4 (58:01):
But I think I'm lucky in the sense that I
have parents that care about me.
Speaker 39 (58:05):
And because of that, when I would go out and do,
you know, things like drugs and stuff like that, I'd
feel a tremendous and that of guilt.
Speaker 36 (58:14):
As the son of comedy legend Carl Reiner, Rob Reiner
said he understood the pressures his own son faced growing
up in a famous family.
Speaker 37 (58:22):
And so they don't know what he's gone through, they
don't know why he's done what he does. And then
you know, and it's pretty dumb, pretty ignorant of people
to say just because you're you know you're and you
have money and that that doesn't mean anything.
Speaker 36 (58:36):
An overnight, former First Lady Michelle Obama revealing to Jimmy
Kimmel that she and the former president had plans to
see the Reiners the night they were found dead.
Speaker 40 (58:45):
We've known them for many, many years, and we were
supposed to be seeing them that night last night, and
we got the.
Speaker 36 (58:54):
News after President Trump made the jarring claim that Rob
Reiner was killed because he was anti Trump, cell Obama
passionately defended her friend.
Speaker 6 (59:03):
Unlike some people, Rob.
Speaker 40 (59:05):
And Michelle Reiner are some of the most decent, courageous
people you.
Speaker 10 (59:10):
Ever want to know.
Speaker 36 (59:12):
And tonight the Reiners are being remembered, Jane Fonda saying
I saw them night before last looking healthy and happy.
I am reeling with grief all in the family co
star Sally Struther saying there are no words. This is
beyond devastating, and Jamie Lee Curtis saying our only focus
and care right now is for their children and immediate family.
Speaker 7 (59:32):
Sch A sad, tragic story.
Speaker 4 (59:34):
Really.
Speaker 7 (59:35):
In other dirty today, the Weekend just closed a massive
catalog deal worth around a billion dollars. Yes you heard
that right, billions selling.
Speaker 6 (59:45):
Me his music.
Speaker 7 (59:46):
Okay, but listen to this. So he did it with
an invest with this one called Lyric Capital Group. He
is not giving up any sort of creative control over
his music in the process. So rather than selling off
his life's work and just walking away, the Weekend in
his team structured this partnership so they retain ownership and
decision making power over the catalog and including both publishing
(01:00:08):
and master recordings. And people I know in the industry say,
this is the kind of deal that is now most
likely going to set a new standard for how artists
make money without losing creative control over their work. So
is it a billion dollars?
Speaker 5 (01:00:24):
It's what was the deal with the tailor's when she
sold her music? Lady, Yeah, I don't know, Like, what
was that all that deal? Because she was she sold
her music to Scooter right.
Speaker 10 (01:00:33):
Well, she didn't sell her music.
Speaker 9 (01:00:35):
Scooter bought it from stop bar, shutta, Okayronda's in here.
Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
He adding her comments, tell Ronda get out of there.
Speaker 7 (01:00:42):
And that was for like a couple hundred million dollars
and she lost a lot of her control. At the time,
she had no control. Yeah, but then brought it back.
Speaker 6 (01:00:53):
Well, I'm happy for the weekend and maybe Taylor set
the president for what is to come. But you know,
I don't want to hear him come back later and
say they're using my music. Well, it sounds like he
has ownership everything. Yeah, and commercials that shouldn't have them,
like toilet commercials something.
Speaker 7 (01:01:09):
Lastly, Morgan Wallen has officially become the highest selling country
artist in US history and not buying a little bit,
with over two hundred and forty million certified units sold.
He now tops the all time list for country. He
sits third across all genres, behind only Drake and speaking
of Taylor Swift. So in the country music world that
(01:01:31):
top five is Morgan Wallen, Luke Holm's, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan,
and George Strait. But between one and two, so between
Morgan Wallan and Luke coolms always like hundreds of millions units.
Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
They need to give some money to us. We need
money for our breaking entering Christmas Wish weekend. Morgan, whoever else?
Speaker 7 (01:01:50):
You're checked out at this point, aren't you?
Speaker 6 (01:01:52):

the richest people in the world.

Speaker 7 (01:02:00):

Speaker 6 (01:03:34):
Who you're spending that money on this holiday season.
Speaker 13 (01:03:37):
Oh my niece is a nephew for sure.
Speaker 6 (01:03:39):
That's so sweet.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
Cool.
Speaker 5 (01:03:40):
You are the best aunt in the world. Aunt Samantha
taking care of the nieces and the nephews shout.
Speaker 6 (01:03:46):
Them out one time. Is it a couple? You got
a whole gang? We don't got that much time.
Speaker 25 (01:03:50):
I got a whole gang.
Speaker 5 (01:03:51):
Okay, okay, Well, Merry Christmas to all, into all a
good night, have a great Christmas, Samantha, thank you you too.
Chance Santa Sack happens again in less than forty five minutes.
Speaker 4 (01:04:04):
We will do it again.
Speaker 6 (01:04:05):
Mojo is going to be.
Speaker 5 (01:04:07):
It's going to You know what I think, Steve, I've
seen him before. I've seen I've seen Steve sachs Sack. Yes, Steve,
I think that is wonderful. He keeps that thing. He
goes to Planet Fitness and gets his gets his workout,
going Planet Fitness over with same one. I We work
out the same place, Union Lake Road, Planet Fitness. If
you would like to see Steve Sack, I think he
(01:04:29):
works out if I'm not mistaken on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
If I'm not mistaken, all right, it is Mojo in
the Morning Show. Remember how we were talking about how
Shannon's son Smith wants a was it a mini bike
or go cart or what does he want?
Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
Isn't it a dirt bike? A dirt bike?
Speaker 7 (01:04:46):
Yeah, which is absolutely not happening.
Speaker 6 (01:04:48):
So on his Christmas list was a dirt bike.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
Well, to show you the difference in where your kids
are and where my kids are, Shannon, because my kids
are older and I've gone through the dirt bike stage.
Speaker 7 (01:04:58):
I even sent you the pick of that you did
it was you sent me a video of him like.
Speaker 6 (01:05:03):
He drove through our trees.
Speaker 4 (01:05:07):
Luke.
Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
We got Luke the little little mini Kawasaki. I think
it was.
Speaker 5 (01:05:12):
Yeah, it was first ride on the thing and he
drove right through our trees. So Luke's list is a
little different nowadays. And this is where I want to
talk about the crazy thing on your kid's Christmas list,
and it doesn't necessarily have to be a kid who's
you know, a Santa kid like like Shannon's son Smith.
(01:05:32):
Luke's Christmas list I was looking at this year involves
Luke wanting ready for the crazy thing this year a
draft King's pre paid five hundred dollars gift card.
Speaker 4 (01:05:47):
I like his style.
Speaker 6 (01:05:49):
No, he's got a whole bunch of other things, but
that's that's the one thing that sounds list.
Speaker 4 (01:05:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
Luca's twenty is gonna be.
Speaker 7 (01:05:57):
Un be twenty one in May or that I don't know,
you gotta be twenty one. What'd you say to him
when he told you guys that that's what he wants.
Speaker 6 (01:06:09):
No, he gave Chelsea the list, like he wrote down things.
Speaker 5 (01:06:11):
My kids are are really good at communicating with their mom,
not me, because they I'll be like what, but no,
so they So he's turned in his list of things
that he wants. And usually what Luke likes is he'll
like randomly throw in some jersey that he wants, you know,
or he'll randomly throw in some like sweatshirt or whatever
that I don't even know if it's gang.
Speaker 6 (01:06:33):
Symbols or something.
Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
I don't you know what I mean, I have no
idea what it is. And then somebody tells me it's
really popular or something right now. But one of the
things on his list is that, And I thought to myself,
I'm like, that's pretty damn funny.
Speaker 10 (01:06:46):
Though, like does Chelsea feel about it?
Speaker 5 (01:06:48):
Honestly, I think Chelse is cool because Luke is not
one that asks for a ton like he is going
to get it. He'll probably end up getting or she'll
just give him five hundred bucks. Yeh, Luke too old
to have a Christmas. Really he too low?
Speaker 17 (01:07:02):
Bro?
Speaker 7 (01:07:03):
Does he have an actual list or does he just text?
Speaker 6 (01:07:06):
Chelsea?
Speaker 5 (01:07:06):
He just pretty much text, like he doesn't sit down
and write. And how old were y'all when y'all parentst
not buying y'all stuff for Chris? My mom still asks
me what I want for Christmas?
Speaker 12 (01:07:15):
Boy?
Speaker 6 (01:07:16):
Please Kevin? My dad kicked me out of the house
at sixteen, So there you go.
Speaker 8 (01:07:21):
I want to say, the last time I got a
legitimate Christmas gift, I probably was fifteen or sixteen.
Speaker 10 (01:07:27):
And that's like on the extended end, you're not getting anything.
Speaker 8 (01:07:31):
Nah, I mean nothing of like, oh well, And I'm
not complaining. I just feel like at a certain age
you tap out.
Speaker 7 (01:07:37):
I think my mom My mom gets joy out of
still getting all three of us girls gifts, but I
had to tell her this year, please please please. I
don't want anything. I would rather like spend time with you,
go out to dinner or do something like like do
that and pay the bill, and that would make me happy.
I don't want anything.
Speaker 6 (01:07:54):
I would rather not spend time with my kids. And
I'm just kidding.
Speaker 7 (01:08:00):
Is he getting the Draft Kings gift?
Speaker 6 (01:08:01):
He's gonna end up getting cash I don't.
Speaker 5 (01:08:03):
I don't know how the DraftKings gift card works, although
I do represent DraftKings. Use the promo code channel nine
five to five h. What's going on, Melanie?
Speaker 27 (01:08:12):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (01:08:12):
How are you? You have your son in your car too?
Merry Christmas? Would he like to talk to Santa?
Speaker 4 (01:08:19):
Sure?
Speaker 6 (01:08:20):
Hold on a second, let me get him Santa? Come
on up here? Who's there with us?
Speaker 13 (01:08:27):
What's your name?
Speaker 6 (01:08:29):
Little boy?
Speaker 20 (01:08:31):
Eli?
Speaker 6 (01:08:33):
Eli? Are you being a good boy?
Speaker 24 (01:08:38):
Eli?
Speaker 6 (01:08:38):
I have my elf here? Would you like to say
hi to my elf?
Speaker 4 (01:08:43):
My elf?
Speaker 6 (01:08:44):
Leroy is here right now?
Speaker 4 (01:08:45):
Leroy say hello?
Speaker 6 (01:08:47):
What up? Eli? I'm sorry mom, we're talking to Eli.
This call Eli Eli, Leroy and I and all the
other elves. Hold on a second, We got another one here.
(01:09:07):

Speaker 7 (01:09:09):

Speaker 41 (01:09:11):
Eli?
Speaker 19 (01:09:14):
What do you say?
Speaker 27 (01:09:17):
Thank you?
Speaker 7 (01:09:17):
What are you asking more for Christmas?
Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
Eli?
Speaker 20 (01:09:22):
A jette?
Speaker 42 (01:09:23):
A pretty prayer and of the r oh.
Speaker 6 (01:09:26):
That's wonderful. Hold on a second. Missus Claus is here too, Hi,
missus clause. Miss oh, I'm sorry, she's got stage fright
right now, missus Clause say hello to Eli, Eli. Can
we talk to your mommy real quick? Yah, mommy, what
(01:09:48):
does Eli have that's on his list? That's too big
to ask for.
Speaker 42 (01:09:53):
Sure. So he had a measuring tape and he was
measuring the space around the Christmas tree.
Speaker 43 (01:10:00):
So I said, hey, tell you, what are you doing?
Speaker 42 (01:10:02):
What do you Why do you have a measuring tape?
And he said, well, I'm just making sure that Santa
has enough room to put the jet ski in a
little bit.
Speaker 5 (01:10:12):
That's funny. Oh, that's great, Eli. Eli should be hanging
out with Luke and all of his state of Kai
frat brack.
Speaker 42 (01:10:21):
He's eight years old, mind you?
Speaker 6 (01:10:24):
Oh that you know what, Eli is going to be
a pimp when he grows up. We love you, Melanie.
That is so awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:10:30):
Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas, Melanie, Love you Christmas. Take care.
What's up, Samantha High?
Speaker 34 (01:10:43):
You were never too old to have a Christmas list?
Speaker 17 (01:10:46):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (01:10:47):
Vin, all right?
Speaker 6 (01:10:48):
What's on your Christmas list?
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
Uh?
Speaker 23 (01:10:52):
Sucks and art stuff, just just basic things.
Speaker 32 (01:10:57):
But you're never old enough.
Speaker 5 (01:10:59):
Socks you old? Yeah, you're never You're never yet, You're
never too exactly. Socks, by the way, is very practical.
That's a very practical thing. I should get Luke socks
because Luke steals my socks. It's really crazy how when
he comes home from college I lose socks.
Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
You know you're old when you get excited for new, fresh,
cushiony socks.
Speaker 3 (01:11:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:11:20):
Absolutely, yeah. Bombas are like my favorite. They're my new favorite.
Speaker 33 (01:11:24):
Right now?
Speaker 6 (01:11:28):
What's up? Jenna?
Speaker 4 (01:11:30):
High?
Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (01:11:32):
By the way, all of a sudden, missus Claus decided
to start speaking that a second ago. What's going on, Jenna?
What's going on?
Speaker 41 (01:11:42):
Good?
Speaker 22 (01:11:43):
I my mom.
Speaker 44 (01:11:44):
I'm thirty three years old, and my mom still ask
me for a Christmas list every year, and she will
hound me that's weeks.
Speaker 6 (01:11:53):
What do you ask?
Speaker 44 (01:11:56):
So, honestly, it's really hard because I'm thirty three years
old and I have my own family. But typically she
never gives me what I want. She gives me what
she thinks I want. And so this year they bought
us Detroit Lyons tickets. I like it, and then my
mom's taking us to Disney World. I'm thirty three and
(01:12:23):
I'm still getting spoiled like I'm in high school.
Speaker 6 (01:12:27):
Y'all need a black brother? I mean, sure, work, I mean, Jenna,
are you are you single?
Speaker 12 (01:12:36):
Or no?
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
Yes?
Speaker 12 (01:12:38):
No? No? No?
Speaker 6 (01:12:39):
No, okay, all right, sure I have a husband.
Speaker 20 (01:12:43):
Okay, sure, I'm married and I have two kids.
Speaker 6 (01:12:46):
You're lucky, You're very, very lucky. Thanks for the call.
Merry Christmas to you. And you tell your mom she's
a wonderful mother. What's up, Rochelle?
Speaker 25 (01:12:54):
How you doing good?
Speaker 5 (01:12:56):
How are you fantastic? Rochelle happening? And what is Rochelle?
You ask your mom for things for Christmas?
Speaker 13 (01:13:04):
First of all, so there's three of us.
Speaker 45 (01:13:07):
I'm forty one, my sister's forty three, my brother's thirty seven.
Speaker 27 (01:13:10):
And to this day, my mom still does not put
our Christmas nikes out.
Speaker 45 (01:13:14):
Until Christmas Eve night.
Speaker 13 (01:13:18):
We're all we're all.
Speaker 45 (01:13:20):
About the magic, like and then my brother dive stuff
and he has this, He rolls a piece of paper
up and he will all be on the phone before
we get to Mom's hoalace and he'll scream in it
wakes up, it's Christmas. I was like, kids, it's amazing.
I love the magic.
Speaker 5 (01:13:37):
What kind of gifts is mom getting for I'm assuming
thirty year olds or something here.
Speaker 25 (01:13:43):
She does stuff like.
Speaker 45 (01:13:46):
Comforters said, gift cards.
Speaker 27 (01:13:48):
She loves thee A gift card like that stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:13:51):
Though, you know what, Chelsea text me that. Joe, my
oldest son, who is thirty years old. He we are
going to see this year Christmas, wants mom to go
to the dispensary and buy him I guess what, some
some Santa's magic or something. Yeah, yeah, he he, he
(01:14:15):
likes that. That's like his thing is, you know. And
they have gift cards.
Speaker 6 (01:14:18):
I believe. I think we learned that last Christmas. What's up, Shannon?
How you doing good? What's going on?
Speaker 13 (01:14:26):
My song?
Speaker 46 (01:14:27):
We went to a Christmas party and every year he's
eight years old, he has to write a.
Speaker 15 (01:14:31):
List and put it in the mailbox.
Speaker 13 (01:14:33):
And he asked me, Mom, how do you sell diamonds?
Speaker 6 (01:14:39):
This kid's unbelievable. Is it for you or for him?
Speaker 19 (01:14:43):
Oh?
Speaker 12 (01:14:43):
For him?
Speaker 15 (01:14:43):
He watches too much football and they all wear those big.
Speaker 4 (01:14:46):
Diamon got the bling going.
Speaker 6 (01:14:50):
You know what you need to do?
Speaker 5 (01:14:51):
Ask Anna to get one of her boyfriends to get
himself there. Yes, yes, all right, we'll talk.
Speaker 6 (01:14:57):
To you later. Take care of yourself. Hold on, Julie,
you what's up?
Speaker 12 (01:15:02):
Uh?
Speaker 25 (01:15:02):
So my seventeen year old wants me to get him
a tattoo for Christmas this year, and he wants, what
are you going to do?
Speaker 14 (01:15:12):
You know, I don't know how I feel about it.
Speaker 47 (01:15:14):
Because he wanted a tattoo when he was sixteen and
I told him no. And then we lost my brother
unexpectedly this year, and he wanted my brother's birthday tattooed
on his.
Speaker 3 (01:15:26):
In Roman numerals.
Speaker 14 (01:15:27):
So I did let him get that.
Speaker 47 (01:15:29):
And but now he's saying for Christmas he wants another
kind of tribute tattoo to my brother.
Speaker 4 (01:15:34):
Yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (01:15:36):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 14 (01:15:37):
I don't know how to feel about another tattoo.
Speaker 6 (01:15:39):
You know what, it may help him cope with the loss,
you know, of his uncle. So that's that's sweet.
Speaker 13 (01:15:44):
Yeah, I think so, But we'll see.
Speaker 6 (01:15:47):
By the way, that's one way to get your parents.
Speaker 7 (01:15:50):
By the way, it's already, yes, I can tell.
Speaker 6 (01:15:53):
You exactly, will right, Yes, would you like to talk
to Santa.
Speaker 1 (01:16:08):
Five s n X nine FM at hard radio stations,
Real people, real lives, real fun. Mojo in the Morning,
guaranteed humans Mojo. Let me take you back to the beginning.
Speaker 3 (01:16:34):

you can watch it on Facebook, Instagram and all the rest.
Speaker 5 (01:17:10):
We have yet to come on the show. The second
date update. Oh you know what I forgot? By the way,
I forgot to do Five Lives to Tell your Mom. Yes, yeah,
we're having so much fun. We got we got into
you know, the granting of that Christmas wish and this
(01:17:30):
single dad Daniel that we granted it. Rsl Medical, Imagine Theaters, Kroger, six, Salon, American,
Coney Mobile, Gas Hand.
Speaker 6 (01:17:41):
And Stone and all the great people who help us
make breaking and entering what it is. They're awesome, they're incredible.
Five Lives it will be new to you at nine. Okay,
so at nine o'clock this morning, I'll have that for
you in a Mojo in the morning. Misfit is on
five Lives. Tell your Mom is the mom? So figure
out which mom that could be. It could be any
of them, so make sure that you're listening for that
(01:18:01):
nine o'clock this morning. All right, it is the mojo
in the morning show, Kevin, you met a lady that
has the longest commute to and from work, and we
may have to see if there's anybody that can compete
with this. But what kind of commute is this? She's insane?
Speaker 36 (01:18:18):
Man.
Speaker 8 (01:18:19):
So I was at a target, I think it was
in Birmingham, and there's a Starbucks in there. Before I leave,
I'm like, man, let me get myself a medicine ball
pop over there. And I'm having a conversation with the
young lady and I can tell her voice is different
than like the regular American accent. So I get in quizit,
where are you from? She's like, I'm from Canada. And
we started talking about boxing day and I'm like.
Speaker 6 (01:18:39):
Oh, Shannon has a husband named Wes. He's from Canada.
We started talking. She's like, yeah, I'm from Toronto. Okay,
Well how long have you been living here? She's like,
I don't live here. Okay, you don't live here?
Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
Where you live?
Speaker 8 (01:18:50):
She's like, I live in Toronto still And I'm like,
and you work here? She's like yeah, six days a week,
so you commute back and forth. Now she's like, six
days out of the week she travels from Toronto to
work at the Starbucks.
Speaker 10 (01:19:04):
No way, that was my thoughts.
Speaker 8 (01:19:09):
I literally, I'm like, there's no other jobs that are
closer to you, or you can't live here, she says,
in this economy is way too much for her to
move here. She goes to school in Wayne State, and
I think Starbucks in particular is like paying half of
her tuitionh Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:19:23):
So she's like, I have to work here and drive
home every night.
Speaker 5 (01:19:27):
Wait, so she drives every day or she lives here
for six days a week, goes home for the week.
Speaker 6 (01:19:31):
No, she said, she drives.
Speaker 8 (01:19:32):
She says she gets off So she said typically I
was like, man, like what time do are you getting home?
And like how long are you able to sleep before
you got to turn around? It's terrible, she said. Typically
I get home about three am. And she said, I
don't have time to really like go to sleep. She said,
just freshen up, jump in the shower, basically do my
hair real quickly.
Speaker 6 (01:19:49):
I got to talk. We explain something to me, though,
How is it that? What is the drive to Toronto?
Speaker 7 (01:19:55):
It's like three and a half hours.
Speaker 12 (01:19:57):
It is.
Speaker 6 (01:19:58):
I thought I took it. I did it one time.
Speaker 7 (01:20:01):
Sometimes it's closer to four. Sometimes you could fly, but
we know we we typically get there in like three
and a half.
Speaker 6 (01:20:07):
Really, yeah, that's what she's doing. Long drive. That's insane
every day every day.
Speaker 5 (01:20:12):
And I thought people who drive from Detroit to Grand
Rapids every single day was crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:20:20):
That's so that's it's another full time job of just
driving crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:20:24):
She has the energy we had on the five to
six fifty five the trucker. But he's a trucker that
you know, drives.
Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
He had he gets paid for his time to drive.
Speaker 6 (01:20:33):
Yeah, but people that do the long commute crazy.
Speaker 7 (01:20:39):
There's ten thousand million Tim Hortons in Canada.
Speaker 9 (01:20:42):
College to which probably but there's more Starbucks is what
I'm thinking.
Speaker 7 (01:20:48):
But I get okay, so I do well. I mean,
if she's going to Wayne State, so she's already here
for that. But still that is.
Speaker 6 (01:20:57):
Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six five
six five four eight who's got the longest commute? That's
listening to us right now?
Speaker 5 (01:21:03):
That I drove to the radio station for the party
last night and it took me an hour and a half.
And I said to myself sitting in that traffic an
hour and a half. Yeah, if that was my drive
every single day, i'd retire or something.
Speaker 6 (01:21:19):
There's no way.
Speaker 8 (01:21:20):
I had at Michigan State yesterday. It's about an hour
and twenty if I do it right. And how many
games you do a Year's not a lot, not a lot,
it's like a handful. Would you do more if if
they gave you more or is it tough for you
because you got the pistons and stuff too, I would
do more. Yeah, yeah, I would do That's a long
It is a long time. I mean, and listen, I
don't think you get rich doing that, but I think
it's good exposure for you to do it. But it's fun,
(01:21:42):
it's purpose field hold on staying, Erica, are you there, Yes,
it's on the year. Erica has nurses who come from
Toronto and they do this every day.
Speaker 32 (01:21:54):
Yes, every day.
Speaker 27 (01:21:57):
I was at Cabanos Cancer Institute and a lot of
my nurses came from Tomorrow, So shout out to them.
And one of my nurses, she was so special to me.
She couldn't hear to the tomato chips that are so
good over there.
Speaker 12 (01:22:12):
In Canada.
Speaker 6 (01:22:13):
The what things?
Speaker 12 (01:22:14):
What did she give you that ship?
Speaker 4 (01:22:17):
Because they are tomato?
Speaker 6 (01:22:19):
Yeah, shannons ketchup chip? Yes, yes, yes, Shannon had those things.
Speaker 7 (01:22:26):
One is obsessed with them.
Speaker 5 (01:22:27):
Those things were gross. I tried one of those. I
thought that they took all the preservatives out of everything
that thing. I had more preservatives than that thing. That
stuff gives you cancer. But yeah, that's that's wild banded.
The nurses, I wonder why they come in from there.
I wonder if there's uh not good nursing jobs over there?
(01:22:48):
What's going on in Ash?
Speaker 6 (01:22:49):
How you doing.
Speaker 20 (01:22:51):
Good?
Speaker 6 (01:22:51):
How are you Ash?
Speaker 5 (01:22:53):
If you ain't driving three and a half or four hours,
you ain't the most uh longest commute?
Speaker 6 (01:22:58):
How long is yours?
Speaker 34 (01:23:01):
Mine is only an hour?
Speaker 38 (01:23:02):
But hearing that on the radio this morning made me
feel a lot better about my community.
Speaker 6 (01:23:07):
I bet, Yeah, isn't that crazy?
Speaker 48 (01:23:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 42 (01:23:11):
I thought mine was a lot.
Speaker 21 (01:23:12):
But hearing that, I'm like, I don't know.
Speaker 28 (01:23:15):
keV is asking where she gets the energy, probably from.
Speaker 48 (01:23:17):
The Starbucks where she worked, because carrying.
Speaker 34 (01:23:19):
Else to give her the fuel?
Speaker 6 (01:23:20):
Yeah, she said, cafe?
Speaker 20 (01:23:22):
How you do that?
Speaker 7 (01:23:22):
And in bad weather if there's snow or freezing rain
or something.
Speaker 6 (01:23:27):
Angela's got a long commute. How long is it?
Speaker 49 (01:23:30):
Hi, Good morning guys.
Speaker 25 (01:23:31):
It's about two hours.
Speaker 21 (01:23:33):
Yes, yeah, So I drive from Centerline to Mcomb to
drop my son off from work, and then I drive
downtown near you guys to actually get to work. So
I usually leave about seven fifteen and I don't get
to work till nine.
Speaker 34 (01:23:48):
So give her take the traffic man.
Speaker 6 (01:23:51):
You get to listen to us for a while too,
hopefully I do.
Speaker 25 (01:23:54):
And then I turned the podcast down into my office.
Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
So I have you.
Speaker 25 (01:23:59):
Yeah, you guys, thank you, appreciate.
Speaker 6 (01:24:01):
I appreciate all your hard work.
Speaker 48 (01:24:03):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:24:04):
Christo's just sent me a text message said he said,
I will give the Toronto girl that Kevin met a
room at the Hotel Saint Regis because of her hard
work and what she's doing for forty dollars a night
for real. Yeah, she said that you would get her
a room. So if she contacts Yeah, I WoT as
(01:24:25):
card I was like, this is a LISTA could do.
So if she contacts Kevin, Uh, hold on a second here,
who's saying on with us?
Speaker 6 (01:24:32):
What's going on? Who's saying thanks? Kristals?
Speaker 19 (01:24:36):
Joel was going on?
Speaker 5 (01:24:37):
Is your first name Suddam or Saddam you want crazy?
Is this calling us from from heaven?
Speaker 7 (01:24:45):
Heaven?
Speaker 17 (01:24:46):
We have to guess what I'm calling from. Where would
you go?
Speaker 6 (01:24:49):
Where are you calling from?
Speaker 3 (01:24:51):
Uh?
Speaker 25 (01:24:52):
Let me?
Speaker 6 (01:24:53):
Yeah, that's right. Listen, I don't stereotype. That was actually
my first guest. Go ahead and what's going on?
Speaker 19 (01:24:59):
First time along side.
Speaker 38 (01:25:03):
Wanted to call and say I just wanted to call
him in and say, you and Shannon complain about driving
from one was Bloomfield.
Speaker 7 (01:25:09):
I don't complain. I have never once complained about my driver.
My My drive is twenty minutes. It is the easiest drive.
Speaker 6 (01:25:18):
Who's saying, you know why I complained?
Speaker 5 (01:25:21):
Because a yes, sir, for twenty six years or twenty
five years, I didn't have to do this drive, and
then the last years of my radio life, I all
of a sudden have to move into an hour drive
every day. They weren't thinking about me when they moved
to the studio.
Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
Who's saying, I totally understand, but I started taking my call.
Speaker 17 (01:25:40):
You guys have a good day.
Speaker 6 (01:25:41):
I appreciate it. Hold on a second. Let me, Uh look,
maybe chrystals will give you the same deal.
Speaker 5 (01:25:47):
Christos, I'll take a forty dollars room at the Hotel
Saint Regis.
Speaker 6 (01:25:51):
What's up, Kevin?
Speaker 17 (01:25:53):
Hey, good morning.
Speaker 6 (01:25:54):
I want Actually I wont Christos. I'm just kidding you.
I want the I want the four hundred dollars room.
I want the nice room. What's going on with hi? Kevin?
Speaker 2 (01:26:03):
Hey?
Speaker 17 (01:26:04):
How you guys do? I don't know if you're hearing
my voice, but I wake up extra early. I live
in California, so my iHeart radio listener, I wake up
at four in the morning. Gives me an opportunity to
listen to your show. But I also have to go
to work, where my commute is two hours.
Speaker 5 (01:26:21):
That's amazing because it's only a five minute or five
mile drive right California.
Speaker 17 (01:26:26):
Well, no, Shannon's been to the Bay Area. She knows
what the traffic.
Speaker 2 (01:26:29):
Flight came from her friends.
Speaker 17 (01:26:32):
That's yeah. And I'm an actual art teacher. So I
commute from basically Napa all the way to Oakland, California.
But I love it because not only like I said,
I can listen to your show, but I use my
two kids as the commuter lane, which is a total
of everything. So if parents are complaining about like waking
(01:26:53):
up early but still get to use your kids as
a communitly take advantage.
Speaker 4 (01:26:56):
But yeah, that's all.
Speaker 17 (01:26:58):
Thank you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:26:59):
You guys are californ You guys in California are really
no joke. I mean the idea that you drive what
is a minimal distance for us that would take us,
you know, twenty five minutes or so, it takes them hours.
Speaker 6 (01:27:12):
The scenery is different. No, it's bad.
Speaker 17 (01:27:18):
Yeah, I get to see that.
Speaker 5 (01:27:19):
Most most of my friends in La are looking at
you know, you know, neighbor. I don't know in La.
Speaker 6 (01:27:27):
You can see that. I don't know the valley, but
it looks nice to me. California. What's up Arson?
Speaker 32 (01:27:38):
Hey, what's in the morning?
Speaker 7 (01:27:41):
Man?
Speaker 16 (01:27:41):
Good morning?
Speaker 4 (01:27:41):
Brother?
Speaker 32 (01:27:42):
It is my actually first time on the race.
Speaker 6 (01:27:48):
What's going on?
Speaker 32 (01:27:49):
But hey, that's what I say after somebody asked me,
what's my name? Like, my name is artist, right, so
you sords right from my mouth?
Speaker 2 (01:27:58):
Awesome.
Speaker 32 (01:27:58):
But yeah, my girl, she drives about hour and a
half at least amount she was driving is like alling
like twenty minutes to work.
Speaker 2 (01:28:06):
And she's a dedicated driver too, so she.
Speaker 16 (01:28:08):
Put like ninety seven thousand miles.
Speaker 6 (01:28:11):
I keep telling her that's a lot of miles on
a car and soon and a half months, Wow, they
get the daughters.
Speaker 13 (01:28:17):
She like goes back and forth.
Speaker 32 (01:28:18):
So she put a hell of miles on her car.
Two and a half months. I'll help her finance company.
Speaker 6 (01:28:22):
And listening to this Arsen Kevin's got a guy that
will roll back the miles for you.
Speaker 4 (01:28:28):
Roll back the miles.
Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
Yeah, of course I know a couple of people that
can do that myself.
Speaker 6 (01:28:36):
Thanks for the call, buddy, I appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (01:28:38):
Oh yeah, no problem, brother man.
Speaker 6 (01:28:42):
What's up, Mark?
Speaker 17 (01:28:44):
What's going on? Good morning, everybody? Happy holidays, Marry Christmas.
Speaker 38 (01:28:50):
Hey, I just want to say hands down to these
people that got to drive that far to get to work.
I get up in the morning, I can plain, and
I drive three and a half minutes to work.
Speaker 6 (01:28:58):
Really, and I bet yourbaut that, Yeah, why do you
not walk if it's three and a half minutes.
Speaker 38 (01:29:04):
It's just I mean, that'd be too far away. Cry,
I take me twenty five minutes. But I do, in
my defense, I do spend the rest of the day
in a truck driving soul.
Speaker 5 (01:29:15):
That Yeah, that's uh. The short commute people like I
used to have. I used to have a great commute.
It was like twelve minutes or fifteen minutes and stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
It's nice.
Speaker 5 (01:29:23):
And I used to complain when it was like that.
I don't I'd take me eight minutes of gear. Oh,
and A said, if I'm just you know, just willing
nearly driving. Yeah, although I will say this though, you
know what I end up doing. The morning I get
a chance to listen a lot to news and things
like that to kind of see what's going on. And
then the afternoon I return all my phone calls, so
I kind of get a chance to get on the
(01:29:44):
phone and do all that stuff.
Speaker 7 (01:29:45):
So I want to Tesla to drive me. And then
if I have that, I just sit back and still
be so scared. I want to try that one time.
I think i'd still be let's.
Speaker 6 (01:29:53):
All do it? Yeah, a self driver? Oh what happened?
Speaker 18 (01:29:56):
You went out on a few dates bags getting you ghosted?
Speaker 4 (01:30:00):
Now, please don't Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 6 (01:30:08):
Mojo in the morning, Anna said that the valet robbed her.
Or hold on, real quick, real quick, I'm done.
Speaker 17 (01:30:15):
You can't.
Speaker 6 (01:30:15):
Can you walk out of the studio next time? I
don't know how, just walk out of the studio. What's
the point of these cough buttons? If you can't cough
because they don't shut the other microphones off. You like literally,
And it's always right as I'm about to introduce. It
could be a very good topic.
Speaker 10 (01:30:35):
All right, go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 5 (01:30:36):
Ahead's let's hear your Hall of Fame introduction. Go ahead,
all right. Anna said that the valet was robbing her.
But what happened?
Speaker 6 (01:30:44):
Anna?
Speaker 10 (01:30:45):
All right?
Speaker 9 (01:30:45):
I have to give a little bit of a backstory.
So I live downtown and I have a parking garage
for my car. I have no option but to have
valet parking. It's just what my apartment offers. I for
the most part, love my valet. They're all very nice,
but there's one worker that is not nice to me.
He's like almost a little disrespectful towards me. There's been
(01:31:08):
times when I pull in and he's like, why you
turn your wheel like that when you turn in here?
And I'm like, how am I supposed to get in
without turning my wheel?
Speaker 10 (01:31:15):
So we just argue.
Speaker 9 (01:31:17):
Yesterday morning, I also have to call for my car
every morning, So yesterday morning, I call down for my car.
Ten minutes later, I get a text and it's like,
do you still need this dot dot Dot? I'm like, okay,
now I'm getting rushed.
Speaker 10 (01:31:29):
I go down there.
Speaker 9 (01:31:30):
Of course it's the guy I don't like that's there.
Get in my car and I notice that my USBC
for my phone to plug it into charge is not there.
It's always plugged in there. So I'm like, oh, no way,
this guy stole my us So as I get into
the studio, I text them and I send a message
that's not mean but not super nice, essentially accusing them
(01:31:53):
of stealing the cord out of my car. Because no
one else is driving in my car except for me.
They start blowing up my phone, calling my phone all show.
Obviously I couldn't answer because we're talking right now. And
I go to get in my car to leave to
go home. I look in my back seat. The USBC
cords there. Oh, now I feel bad because I accused them. However,
I did not remove the cord and put it in
(01:32:15):
my back seat, so somebody touched it and sure back there,
Why would I Why would I have removed it?
Speaker 6 (01:32:20):
Well, maybe it accidentally came off or something fluable, or.
Speaker 7 (01:32:23):
Maybe he was just had like a moment of yeah,
maybe you know it was like in his hold it.
Speaker 6 (01:32:29):
Why didn't you look in the backseat.
Speaker 10 (01:32:32):
I did look.
Speaker 9 (01:32:32):
It was kind of under some things, but I did
a more extensive Did you call and tell them that
you no?
Speaker 10 (01:32:38):
But should I? Because now I'm afraid to see them.
Speaker 6 (01:32:40):
And you falsely the guy probably got fired because of you.
Speaker 9 (01:32:42):
I take the court. I've been taking the cord with
me every time to act like it's.
Speaker 5 (01:32:46):
Still Here's the question, who have you falsely accused of something?
And then how did you find out that you were
falsely accusing them? Because this sounds like, honestly, something like
who ate my food? And then you got to look
in the back of the refrigerator and still in there.
Speaker 10 (01:33:00):
But do you really think I should What should I
say to that?
Speaker 6 (01:33:03):
I think that you should say.
Speaker 5 (01:33:04):
I would just like to say I was having kind
of a day and I want to let you know
I found my cord. It was in the backseat, and
I apologize. But thank you so much for your diligence
of doing here's the deal.
Speaker 10 (01:33:16):
Guy, forgetting that. This guy is not nice to me?
Speaker 6 (01:33:19):
Are you forgetting that? You're on the radio right now
talking about it.
Speaker 7 (01:33:22):
Maybe though by you apologizing and saying I was having
a day, I was having a moment, it will prompt
him to kind of check his own behavior to you.
Maybe or not, but you know what, you could at
least feel good about how you behaved.
Speaker 6 (01:33:33):
What's up with the parking guys in Detroit being so nasty?
The guy that the.
Speaker 5 (01:33:41):
Parking guy behind six Salon When I've gone in on
Fridays in George, you know, is there, I'll go. I'll
see George sometimes and just go say hi to him
before the weekend and I'll go park in there. First off, a,
it's way too expensive. It's like ridiculous expensive. But the
guy is like Meandy, He doesn't ever make you feel
(01:34:02):
like he's grateful for your business. It makes you feel
like you're just doing you a favor by giving you
a parking spot. Not every parking it in it is
ale though. Well that guy, I mean, are are you jolly?
If somebody was using my business, I would be like,
thank you for being there. I appreciate it. Like they
don't ever look like they're thankful that you're parking there.
(01:34:22):
They look like they're doing you the favor of letting
you park there when you're paying twenty bucks or whatever
for the parking. I try not to use those guys anyway,
there are there are also I think that there's a
level of honestly, I think there's a level of, you
know where I don't ever see certain people smile. And
I don't think the parking guys, the guys who are
(01:34:43):
the parking guys, And I have no idea. I'm not
calling out their nationality or whatever they are. Oh oh,
but I will say this that some of these guys
look like they're not happy at all. And I don't
know why that is as a people, I don't know,
But they know what you're saying. I'm saying they generally
and listen, there's they seem they seem upset. There's the
(01:35:05):
guy that's there. They they always look like they're they
do they never seem like they got a smile on
their face.
Speaker 10 (01:35:12):
I disagree.
Speaker 9 (01:35:13):
There's a parking lot across the street from Leila. I
would assume similar nation. This man is smiling all the time,
and I was at him, shout.
Speaker 7 (01:35:21):
Out the guy, the guy behind the box theater.
Speaker 6 (01:35:23):
Whenever I roll up to park there.
Speaker 7 (01:35:25):
It's the same guy. I don't know how he recognized it.
He's happy. He always goes white Lady and the white car.
Speaker 6 (01:35:34):
Well tell them tell them to talk to the guy
that's behind six A line and Anna's valet. Dude, is
they are that nice? All right? Eight four four Mojo
Live eight four four six six five six five four
eight uh Mojo on the Morning Misfit Funeral Home. Tom
is on with us right now. What's up Tom?
Speaker 14 (01:35:51):
Hey, listen, just buy him a Peacha doesn't do nuts
and call it a day.
Speaker 32 (01:35:55):
They'll forget all about it.
Speaker 10 (01:35:57):
Okay, that's not a bad idea.
Speaker 6 (01:35:59):
And do you tip a holiday tip to your.
Speaker 9 (01:36:03):
I was thinking, well, I don't tip them every day
because I would go bro about doing it for just
Christmas or something. They slipped a card under my door
the other day to Yeah, I'm telling you I like
all of them except one guy.
Speaker 5 (01:36:18):
Yeah, I give him a bottle of booze. Everybody likes booze.
What's up, Vanessa?
Speaker 6 (01:36:23):
How you doing?
Speaker 41 (01:36:25):
I'm good?
Speaker 6 (01:36:27):
What's going on? Which you call for first time?
Speaker 34 (01:36:31):
Long time?
Speaker 4 (01:36:37):
Now?
Speaker 50 (01:36:38):
I just was coming on how accusing people of things
that they didn't do or didn't take accused?
Speaker 20 (01:36:48):
Yeah, my stepdaughter she takes she takes stuff all the time.
Speaker 50 (01:36:51):
Okay, so every time something's missing in my clothes or anything,
I just automatically assume that it's her, So I make
her dad call her where's this?
Speaker 20 (01:37:00):
Where's that at? And a week later I find it
it's happened like twice a week.
Speaker 10 (01:37:05):
Do you admit it to her? I just feel like,
huh do you admit it to her? After you find it?
Speaker 12 (01:37:10):
Like?
Speaker 10 (01:37:10):
Oh, sorry about I apologize.
Speaker 50 (01:37:12):
To her, and then I feel I think he makes
me feel worse than she does, because she's just like whatever.
Speaker 20 (01:37:17):
She knows she takes myself sometimes, but he's just like
she she Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:37:23):
I feel that one. I have a stepdaughter wipes my
stuff too.
Speaker 6 (01:37:27):
Really?
Speaker 51 (01:37:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:37:27):
Have you ever falsely accused her?
Speaker 12 (01:37:30):
No?
Speaker 7 (01:37:31):
Well, she likes she likes Lucy's makeup as well, and
so I've had to ask her where stuff was before,
And then I do feel bad because she's like, well
I asked Lucy. I asked Lucy if I could borrow it?
Speaker 3 (01:37:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:37:41):
Yeah, what's up? Initial Jay wants to be voice disguised. Hi, J, Hey,
how are you good? What's going on?
Speaker 32 (01:37:49):
First time?
Speaker 6 (01:37:54):
Okay?
Speaker 51 (01:37:55):
One time me and a buddy of mine with MGM
downtown Detroit. M. I forgot I have a CCW. I
forgot my pistol was on me and I put it
in the glovebox. We were there for two three hours,
came back, got my car.
Speaker 2 (01:38:10):
My pistol was going, Oh boy.
Speaker 3 (01:38:15):
It was in the glove box in the vale.
Speaker 51 (01:38:17):
I parked it in the valet of la I think
took it from me.
Speaker 6 (01:38:19):
Oh my god, did you what did you do? Did
you call the cops or anything? Or would you do?
Speaker 51 (01:38:24):
I didn't want to because if you do, you're not
allowed to have that on premises or.
Speaker 4 (01:38:29):
The like, on the on their property.
Speaker 6 (01:38:31):
But what if the guy commits a crime with it
and you get charged or something.
Speaker 51 (01:38:35):
No, So what I did was I just reported it lost.
Speaker 6 (01:38:39):
Oh okay, crazy and then they.
Speaker 51 (01:38:41):
Never found it and never came back up.
Speaker 6 (01:38:44):
That's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:38:45):
Yeah, that's that is nuts, right, Yeah, that's crazy. Wow,
all right, nice, Hold on a second, Leo.
Speaker 6 (01:38:54):
What's up? Leah?
Speaker 17 (01:38:56):
Hey, hey, good morning?
Speaker 6 (01:38:59):
Good morning?
Speaker 12 (01:38:59):
Was going on?
Speaker 4 (01:39:00):
Leah?
Speaker 29 (01:39:02):
Okay, So I got my car told I mean the
toe truck Guver was so nice.
Speaker 6 (01:39:11):
He was polite, a real cool guy.
Speaker 29 (01:39:15):
When he dropped off the car, I just went in
the house because it was cold. I came back out.
My whole bumper was messed up. One side was hanging,
and so I'm like, I didn't pay attention when he
brought it off the bed, and I'm like, I'm so mad,
I'm pissed. I called the tow truck company. I guess
(01:39:36):
your guy messed up my car when he pulled it
off of the toe truck.
Speaker 17 (01:39:40):
I'm going off, like, who's gonna.
Speaker 13 (01:39:42):
Pay for this?
Speaker 6 (01:39:43):
And they was.
Speaker 25 (01:39:44):
They took the story and then they said, we're gonna
call you back.
Speaker 37 (01:39:48):
Then.
Speaker 25 (01:39:49):
I'm leaving for work the next day and a whole
nother car. My neighbor comes running to the car.
Speaker 33 (01:39:55):
I hit your car.
Speaker 20 (01:39:56):
I hit you.
Speaker 52 (01:40:00):
The other morning, yes, she said, the other morning when
I was leaving for work, back into your car.
Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
Yes, because I just I made a huge deal about it.
Speaker 4 (01:40:14):
And if that was so nice, Yeah, what did you
do then?
Speaker 6 (01:40:17):
Did you call the tow truck company and tell him
that it was a mistaken thing?
Speaker 19 (01:40:22):
Mojo?
Speaker 29 (01:40:22):
Please?
Speaker 17 (01:40:23):
Of course I didn't.
Speaker 6 (01:40:27):
That guy got fire.
Speaker 2 (01:40:32):
Listen.
Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
They never call back.
Speaker 6 (01:40:34):
So you're bad, Leah, Karma bite you in the ass.
You better be careful, Mojo.
Speaker 12 (01:40:42):
Stop.
Speaker 6 (01:40:45):
I love you, Leah.
Speaker 53 (01:40:47):
Alright ie, I gotta get a test done today and
I was just looking at the thing and it says
it says do not do not drink or eat six
hours before the procedure.
Speaker 7 (01:40:59):
What times you test?
Speaker 6 (01:41:01):
My texted at.
Speaker 7 (01:41:01):
Three o'clock you better hurry up and eat something.
Speaker 6 (01:41:04):
Well real quick.
Speaker 7 (01:41:05):
How many hours is that eleven to twelve? So you
have you have thirty four minutes to eat some?
Speaker 6 (01:41:09):
What are you opening?
Speaker 4 (01:41:10):
Hag bites?
Speaker 5 (01:41:11):
I got to get a test done today and I
was just looking at the thing and it says it
says do not do not drink or eat six hours
before the procedure.
Speaker 7 (01:41:21):
What time is your test? And my texted at three
o'clock you better hurry up and eat something well real quick.
How many hours is that eleven to twelve? So you
have you have thirty four minutes to eat some?
Speaker 6 (01:41:31):
What are you opening?
Speaker 10 (01:41:32):
Hag bites?
Speaker 6 (01:41:34):
It are you going to dress hole in your mouth?
Speaker 54 (01:41:38):
Have not to mention last or yesterday? He ate the
bites off the floor and he dropped him.
Speaker 7 (01:41:46):
I would do the same thing. Those things are so expensive.
Speaker 6 (01:41:48):
Why do you got to call me out for that?
Speaker 4 (01:41:51):
Gross?
Speaker 6 (01:41:51):
It is the holidays, very clean.
Speaker 10 (01:41:53):
I met Gina the cleaning lady yesterday.
Speaker 7 (01:41:55):
Wasn't she so cute?
Speaker 6 (01:41:56):
I introduced you to your future husband and all you've
been is mean me since then?
Speaker 54 (01:42:01):
Well, now you know I still love you. I actually
made you a good yes dream bowling.
Speaker 7 (01:42:07):
That was the day before yesterday. Oh you mean on
on our Instagram.
Speaker 6 (01:42:11):
I'm eating. I've got to eat before.
Speaker 10 (01:42:15):
Thirty four minutes.
Speaker 6 (01:42:18):
I'm lucky, aungry too.
Speaker 24 (01:42:20):
All I'm saying it was those egg bites were on
the floor for longer than five seconds, So I don't
know if you should have been eating those.
Speaker 6 (01:42:24):
Those egg bites are gold for me.
Speaker 9 (01:42:27):
Who can get us food in twenty so then Mojo
can eat it and we cannot eat it.
Speaker 5 (01:42:35):
Whenever they do that and they say you can't eat
six hours prior to it, Yeah, what do they mean?
Speaker 6 (01:42:40):
Like, what will happen if I eat? That's a good question.
Speaker 4 (01:42:44):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:42:45):
Nariser doctor has got a call in and tell us.
He says, I'm my thing here. It says do not
eat six hours prior. Patients thirteen or older should not
eat or drink six hours prior. We are not responsible
for anybody that is a minor. I don't know why
they give me all this stuff. See, we're so like,
we're so trusted. We hear these instructions and we just
(01:43:06):
believe whatever they say. I trust them to know what
they know well. And then I got to make sure.
All right, I'm done now, so Claire liquids now from
the rest all you. That's all I can have until
three o'clock. It was that one egg butter or two.
I did two egg bites really quick. It was fast,
all right.
Speaker 16 (01:43:23):
Second date Update, it's the second date update module in
the morning.
Speaker 6 (01:43:28):
Why are you not getting a call back? We're going
to find out. Jeff is on with us right now.
Speaker 17 (01:43:31):
Hi, jav, Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (01:43:34):
What's happening in Jeff? So, Jeff, why are you not
getting a call back? Is what we're going to try
to figure out. Where did you guys meet?
Speaker 52 (01:43:43):
I'm the best place ever online on Facebook?
Speaker 6 (01:43:46):
Oh okay, Facebook dating? And what did you guys do
for your first date?
Speaker 52 (01:43:53):
Just simple just went out to dinner. I had a
nice conversation and he did end up going back to
my place.
Speaker 6 (01:44:00):
Oh okay, see what happened there?
Speaker 12 (01:44:03):
No? She?
Speaker 6 (01:44:04):
Yeah? Who did you did you guys do anything at
your place other than just hang out?
Speaker 12 (01:44:10):
Or yeah?
Speaker 52 (01:44:12):
She stayed over if we want to put it that way.
Speaker 6 (01:44:14):
Okay, so she spent the night, you guys ended up
baking cookies.
Speaker 52 (01:44:20):
I've never heard of call that, but you sure, Yeah,
we hooked up.
Speaker 6 (01:44:23):
Okay, all right, we're going to find out exactly what's
going on. Jeff has not heard from her since then,
and Don is on with us right now. Jeff, will
you say hi to down?
Speaker 17 (01:44:35):
Hey Don a long time?
Speaker 33 (01:44:36):
No cough?
Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (01:44:40):
Don?
Speaker 6 (01:44:40):
What's going on? How are you?
Speaker 4 (01:44:43):
I am good? How about you?
Speaker 34 (01:44:44):
Guys?
Speaker 5 (01:44:45):
We are doing fantastic, Don, Jeff, Jeff contacted us to
do second date update. That's what we call this thing,
and it's for the purpose of trying to figure out
if there is a possibility for a second date, if
the two of you guys could get together for us
second date.
Speaker 6 (01:45:01):
Is there a possibility He.
Speaker 34 (01:45:03):
Called you all to ask me for a second date.
Speaker 6 (01:45:06):
Well, he sent in a text for second date update.
You can text date to nine five five zero zero.
Did you just say no, no?
Speaker 12 (01:45:12):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
Why? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:45:15):
No?
Speaker 27 (01:45:16):
Why?
Speaker 4 (01:45:17):
Well?
Speaker 13 (01:45:19):
We you know, God, this is I can't believe this.
Speaker 34 (01:45:24):
So we went out and we went back to his place,
and you know, things happened and I went to the
bathroom and he's got a bunch of women's stuff under
a sink.
Speaker 7 (01:45:38):
Okay, like what like toilet trees, use tampon stuff like.
Speaker 34 (01:45:42):
That or yeah, like tampon, makeup, make up, okay, make
a remover, makeup remover like like stuff that would be
for a woman. So obviously he's already got somebody, So
why would I go out with him again?
Speaker 6 (01:45:58):
Jeff? Why do you have you have a roommate or something,
or why do you have women's stuff?
Speaker 52 (01:46:05):
Well, appreciate your snooping in the bathroom, and those are
for my teenage daughter who I have custody. You have
to split custy with my ex wife with, so they're
not my They're not for all of the women I have,
you know, coming from my life. That is my teenage
daughter's stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:46:26):
Done?
Speaker 6 (01:46:27):
Yeah, done.
Speaker 7 (01:46:28):
Why did you not just ask him that when you
came back or like realized that, because I'm sure you
taught you knew he had a daughter.
Speaker 6 (01:46:34):
Did you know he had a daughter?
Speaker 34 (01:46:36):
No, he never once said a word about having a daughter,
much less having custody of a quote unquote daughter.
Speaker 7 (01:46:44):
I mean, please wait, that is a very normal explanation
for why that stuff was under there, And why are
you are you thinking he's lying about having a child.
Speaker 34 (01:46:57):
He literally never brought it up. You mean, there's you
have custody.
Speaker 25 (01:47:02):
Okay, you have custody of a child, and I go
back to your.
Speaker 34 (01:47:05):
Place and you're not going to mention that there's a
teenage daughter that's living there.
Speaker 36 (01:47:09):
I mean, that's weird.
Speaker 5 (01:47:10):
Well, I said they joined custody, so I'm sure that
she was probably at her mom's house. You don't believe
his story you're telling us you think that he's lying
to you right now, but also lying to all of us.
Speaker 34 (01:47:23):
I mean probably why would he not tell me he
had a teenage daughter?
Speaker 6 (01:47:27):
Until I see all of this, Jeff, why did you
not tell her that you have a teenage daughter?
Speaker 52 (01:47:32):
Well, it never really came up. But also I'm laughing
because there's a photo of my daughter and myself, like
I framed on my wall in the living room, So
I mean, ye, I didn't point it out, But if
you're snooping underneath the sink, you could have snooped on
the wall and could.
Speaker 17 (01:47:46):
Have said who was the my daughter?
Speaker 52 (01:47:50):
I didn't know that I had to lead with the
family history.
Speaker 6 (01:47:53):
I I you know, I think that this is just
a misunderstanding.
Speaker 5 (01:47:56):
But don you seem like you're a little attacked, which
makes me think also that you just didn't enjoy yourself.
Speaker 6 (01:48:03):
Did you not enjoy your date?
Speaker 13 (01:48:07):
I mean it was okay.
Speaker 34 (01:48:08):
But also, if I'm going to go out with someone
and he's gonna think that just telling me he has
a daughter is going through his family history. I wasn't
asking about like his great grandfather or anything. I mean,
you might want to tell me about current events in
your life. So if he's gonna withhold something like that,
what else is he going to withhold for me?
Speaker 6 (01:48:27):
So I just I gotta be honest with you.
Speaker 52 (01:48:29):
I getting married to have a kid is my history.
So I'm not too great great grandfather.
Speaker 5 (01:48:35):
But I also you seem she seems very, uh, I
don't know, antagonistic about it.
Speaker 6 (01:48:41):
And yeah, Megan, what did you want to say about this?
Speaker 12 (01:48:43):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (01:48:44):
Megan, Hi, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 13 (01:48:49):
So I have a few questions.
Speaker 14 (01:48:50):
I don't understand why were you going through his cabinets anyways?
Speaker 6 (01:48:55):
Yea, Dawn, Meghan wants to know why you were going
through his stuff?
Speaker 34 (01:49:00):
Okay, okay, because I'm in that group. Are we dating
the same guy? And there's so many women that have
gone through a man's bathroom and found women's things and
realized that they were not the only one. So I thought,
let me make sure that there's no women's stuff in here,
and guess what there was women's stuff. So I was like, well,
I'm probably one of many.
Speaker 7 (01:49:20):
Then I think that got in your head and you
have made up a story before you even went in there.
Speaker 6 (01:49:25):
Stay off the group, chat, live your life. Hey, what's
going on, Amanda?
Speaker 20 (01:49:30):
Hey?
Speaker 25 (01:49:30):
How are you guys?
Speaker 4 (01:49:31):
Good?
Speaker 6 (01:49:32):
What's going on? What do you want to say to
these guys?
Speaker 28 (01:49:34):
I truly believe him because he answered very quickly.
Speaker 14 (01:49:37):
I do believe he has a daughter. But I also
do find it kind of odd that it wasn't brought up.
Speaker 47 (01:49:42):
I do think it's a big deal because some people,
you know, don't even want to date people with kids,
So I do think that should.
Speaker 33 (01:49:47):
Have already been brought up.
Speaker 7 (01:49:48):
I agree with you there. I've always said that would
be like the number one thing that I lead with.
But over the years that I've said that, I also
understand that people want to get to know somebody before they,
you know, disclose that. Sure, I do agree with you.
Speaker 10 (01:50:00):
Why not ask the question, right?
Speaker 1 (01:50:02):
You?
Speaker 6 (01:50:02):
Have you ever been married? You have kids? What's up?
Crystal High?
Speaker 25 (01:50:07):
So this lady sounds really kind of crappy. I mean,
on the first date, she expects him to tell her everything.
Speaker 49 (01:50:14):
Sometimes people like to keep their privacy, you know, with
their children protected, and don't want to talk about their
children right away.
Speaker 14 (01:50:22):
He doesn't even know if he likes this woman or not.
But like he said, there's a picture of his daughter
on the wall.
Speaker 3 (01:50:28):
Sounds like she.
Speaker 25 (01:50:29):
Doesn't like that he has a daughter.
Speaker 4 (01:50:31):
Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 25 (01:50:32):
Well, sounds really crappy. I mean, I get that's important
to tell people you have children, but like he doesn't
even know if he wants to date this person for real.
Speaker 13 (01:50:41):
It's the first day.
Speaker 6 (01:50:42):
Come on, Thanks for the call of Crystal. Appreciate it.
What's up Jay?
Speaker 12 (01:50:46):
Hi? I can see why Doll's single.
Speaker 48 (01:50:54):
The first day she already snooping through stuff and she
assumed she needs to stay single.
Speaker 5 (01:51:02):
Thanks for the call, Jay, appreciate it. What's up Natalie, Hi,
good morning.
Speaker 47 (01:51:08):
I think that don is looking for a problem. I
think that she just like, why are you snooping? First
of all, that's so weird, And two just explanation was
very calm. It didn't feel like I have a daughter
like sometimes we hear people do on here. It was
very like straight to the point, Yeah, I have a
teenage daughter.
Speaker 20 (01:51:28):
You could have asked me about it.
Speaker 14 (01:51:29):
And also like I feel like on the first date
there are like if the roles were reversed and it was.
Speaker 25 (01:51:36):
A woman that had a child and like maybe didn't
want to.
Speaker 14 (01:51:38):
Disclose that on the first date, this would not even
be the same true.
Speaker 6 (01:51:43):
Definitely a standard there. Yeah. Oh, like Larissa doesn't believe Jeff.
It sounds like with her line of questioning, go ahead,
question Jeff, Larissa, Hey, I was one?
Speaker 3 (01:52:00):
Are you how old is this daughter?
Speaker 25 (01:52:02):
And when I was a teenager, I didn't use tampons.
Speaker 13 (01:52:06):
I would definitely.
Speaker 6 (01:52:08):
Fifteen, smelling like everybody else. She's totally well, she he
just said that his daughter is fifteen.
Speaker 30 (01:52:18):
Larissa, I think I was the lazy pads when I
was fifteen in.
Speaker 7 (01:52:23):
Swimming right your experience?
Speaker 23 (01:52:26):
Yeah, it is not my com So you're still a child.
Speaker 6 (01:52:28):
How old are you, Larissa?
Speaker 13 (01:52:31):
I'm twenty three?
Speaker 6 (01:52:32):
Okay, So are you are you doubting over to a
guy's house.
Speaker 15 (01:52:36):
I'm definitely snooping too.
Speaker 45 (01:52:37):
So she has like, like what does she needed a tampon?
Speaker 23 (01:52:41):
She needed a look for one?
Speaker 30 (01:52:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (01:52:43):
Well, then guess what. Luckily, she's dating the right guy
because he's got tampons there.
Speaker 4 (01:52:47):
For him that actually I know that able to help
you anyway.
Speaker 5 (01:52:51):
So wait, can I tell you I have I have
a a guy, single guy, not in a relationship at all,
and he actually has everything that you would need.
Speaker 6 (01:53:00):
It was a woman to go to his house.
Speaker 4 (01:53:01):
Do you like that?
Speaker 10 (01:53:02):
Okay?
Speaker 7 (01:53:03):
So that was This reminds me so much when I
first started dating Wes, because he had a daughter who
was she was a tween at the time. But he
also the very first time I spent the night, like
made a like a cure package, yes, with like a
razor and a toothbrush and a.
Speaker 6 (01:53:19):
Tampon and juice.
Speaker 7 (01:53:21):
At first, I was like, did you collect all this
stuff from like an ex and have it? And he
was like, no, this is just I so my mom,
this is how my mom raised me. But I accommodating.
Speaker 5 (01:53:30):
I said to a buddy of mine who did exactly that,
I said to me, it would look like you are
bringing a lot of women into your place.
Speaker 7 (01:53:38):
And I said that to him, Yeah, that's all right.
Speaker 6 (01:53:41):
Second it up there.
Speaker 16 (01:53:42):
This is the home of a.
Speaker 1 (01:53:42):
Dirty on the thirty fro Backrod on a second date

Speaker 6 (01:54:16):
All right, Shannon, what's trending in this dirty.
Speaker 7 (01:54:18):
Last night, I'm Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michelle Obama revealing this
about her relationship with the late Rob Reiner and his
wife Michelle.
Speaker 6 (01:54:27):
I think it was a night before last, so it
was coming.
Speaker 7 (01:54:29):
You're right, yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:54:31):
I also I feel like I should bring up I
know you and your husband were friends with Rob and
Michelle Reiner, and I'm very sorry for your loss.
Speaker 16 (01:54:38):
Oh my god, how long have you known the Reiners.
Speaker 40 (01:54:41):
We've known them for many, many years, and we were
supposed to be seeing them that night last night, and
we got the news and let me just say this.
Unlike some people, Rob and Michelle Reiner are some of
the most decent, courageous people ever want to.
Speaker 7 (01:55:01):
Hollywood has been in mourning for the past few days
after the acclaimed director and his wife were found dead
in their Los Angeles home and an incident that police
are treating as a homicide a double homicide. Their son,
Nick has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
This is Ellie County DA Nathan Hockman.
Speaker 11 (01:55:18):
Today, I'm here to announce that our office will be
filing charges against Nick Reiner was accused of killing his parents,
actor director Rob Reiner and photographer producer Michelle Singer Reiner.
These charges will be two counts of first degree murder
with a special circumstance of multiple murders. He also fasts
(01:55:41):
a special allegation that he personally used a dangerous and
deadly weapon, that being a knife. These charges carry a
maximum sentence.
Speaker 6 (01:55:50):
It's kind of wild because.
Speaker 11 (01:55:52):
Life imprisons without in a movie, you know, like death powerty.
I know decision at this point has been made with
respect the death penalty.
Speaker 5 (01:56:01):
They have the death penalty in California. I didn't think
they have the death penalty to me, it's.
Speaker 6 (01:56:06):
Like something out of a movie, you know, where you're
the kid of a famous actor actress. Yeah, you know
what I mean? Does this documentary? I feel like that's
the story.
Speaker 5 (01:56:15):
It's funny because I look at this story and then
I think about it like a week or so ago.
Speaker 6 (01:56:19):
The Michigan Coach, the Sharon Moore. That's another one that.
Speaker 7 (01:56:23):
Could be a movie, which I have something on that
in a second. But I do want to say since
the murderers, some of Rob Reiner's closest friends and collaborators,
I mean, the likes of Billy Crystal and Larry David,
Albert Brooks, Martin Short came all came together to release
a joint statement remembering him and Michelle. They describe Rob
as a masterful storyteller whose work spanned comedy, drama, documentary,
(01:56:44):
and more. He really brought out the best of the
actors and writers that he worked with, and they remembered
Michelle as his equal partner in creativity and advocacy, a
force for positive change in both art and her community.
Speaker 6 (01:56:56):
I want to know what the argument was that Nick
had with Bill Hayter.
Speaker 7 (01:57:01):
So I know that I don't know what the argument
was but they had with his dad. He interrupted Bill Hayter,
and Bill Hayter said, please walk away, I'm having a
private conversation.
Speaker 4 (01:57:11):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (01:57:11):
Yeah, And I don't know why he interrupted him.
Speaker 4 (01:57:15):
Or you know what.
Speaker 7 (01:57:16):
That's what the context was there. But earlier in the
night he had already had some sort of altercation. So
the way that the timeline I think worked was that
he had the confrontation with his dad, that Rob Reiner
and his wife were embarrassed and they left and left
Nick at the party. And I believe I could be
wrong by this, but I believe from everything I've read,
(01:57:37):
that's when the altercation then happened with Bill Hayter. I wonder,
and then Nick left.
Speaker 5 (01:57:41):
Conan will come out and speak too, because it was
at his party that is out. Yeah, all the first
initial arguments happened.
Speaker 12 (01:57:48):
Wow.
Speaker 7 (01:57:49):
Former University of Michigan had football codes. Jim Harbaugh on ESPN,
commenting on this, sharone more mess.
Speaker 6 (01:57:57):
I have texted him nothing, nothing since he was arrested, just.
Speaker 12 (01:58:03):
Text Oh you have Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:58:06):
How are his spirits?
Speaker 12 (01:58:08):
Uh? I think I think there's it's a trategedy. What
uh the worst days of his life and uh, you know,
keep it together and and uh, and take care of
your family. That's no, that's the message. And I getting
spiritual guidance.
Speaker 3 (01:58:26):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (01:58:27):
You know it's really critical.
Speaker 18 (01:58:30):
Are you helping Michigan at all find their head coach?
Speaker 3 (01:58:34):
No, I'm not.
Speaker 12 (01:58:36):
All focuses on the Dallas Cowboys.
Speaker 5 (01:58:39):
Ward Manual, by the way, hated Harbor, so he's not
helping it all. But if Ward Manual gets let go,
which a lot of people think should happen, they should
make the Harbor family as part of the search for
the next head coach of this team. You know, they
should bring me why they pop a Harbor because there
they are such a big part of Michigan lore, you know,
(01:59:03):
and I think that they are great family. I think
the Ward Manual did not like that Jim Harbaugh had
so much power that he had, and I think that
there was a lot of bitterness there.
Speaker 6 (01:59:13):
It would be a good pr move. I mean, I
still think they should Hireen John Harbaugh.
Speaker 7 (01:59:18):
But yesterday, in her first podcast, following a four and
a half hour conversation with Erica Kirk, conservative comment or
Candas Owens said she still doesn't believe that the person
charged with murder for Charlie Kirk's death is solely responsible.
Erica Kirk's efforts to quiet the rumor mill about her
(01:59:38):
husband's murder have not changed Candace's mind. She still believes
Israel had something to do with Charlie Kirk's death. Actually,
she says France Israel in Egypt, promoting a theory that
some of her critics say is evidence that she is
boosting anti Semitism. She also said Charlie Kirk was betrayed
by people close to him and that the state and
federal law enforcement are covering up a bigger c I'm
(02:00:00):
in relation to this. I have not listened to her
podcast from yesterday yet, but I do understand that Erica
came fully prepared to debunk all of the claims that
Candace has been you know, talking about over the past
couple of weeks. But a filly in when I do listen, tascand.
Speaker 6 (02:00:19):
Has put forward any proof City's claims because she's been
talking for a while, but we ain't seen no receipts.
Speaker 7 (02:00:25):
Really, she's shown a lot of screenshots.
Speaker 10 (02:00:27):
Oh and she's proven his producer to be lying.
Speaker 54 (02:00:30):
So watched and listen to her.
Speaker 8 (02:00:33):
Podcast now it for show, But I'm talking about like,
did you listen to any of that screens.
Speaker 10 (02:00:40):
Things that she showed Erica Kirk that Erica had no
idea of.
Speaker 7 (02:00:44):
Really yep, all right, I'm gonna pull some of it.
That's interesting to me. And lastly, I think Mari Povich
was part of all of our childhoods. Yes, he's retired now,
well you are the fat He might be coming back.
He was on the Sherry Shepherd Show kind of right,
but you were talking about this. I've even put this
out right on social media.
Speaker 18 (02:01:05):
I would come out of retirement.
Speaker 6 (02:01:09):
If I could get Nicki.
Speaker 20 (02:01:10):
Okay, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Cardi.
Speaker 36 (02:01:14):
B settle their differences with a lot of detector tests.
Speaker 10 (02:01:20):
That would be crazy.
Speaker 30 (02:01:21):
How About how about if Drake and Kendrick.
Speaker 7 (02:01:26):
So you would come seletary, he would come out of
retirement to settle some rape miss anything from today's show
ketchup by checking off the podcast anytime on the Free
iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 16 (02:01:43):
Directly from the.

the delly, Shelley, we gotta get you some money here.
Speaker 6 (02:02:06):
You want to grab Santa Sack.
Speaker 25 (02:02:09):
I just had my nails done.
Speaker 6 (02:02:11):
O my gosh, it's.
Speaker 18 (02:02:15):
Time to reach into Santa Sack with Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (02:02:19):
Asked me, all right, Shelley, we're gonna grab Santa Sack.
Get those newly manicured nails in there, and here we go.
Speaker 6 (02:02:32):
Oh, not too shabby. Three hundred and six dollars. That's
a nice little chunk.
Speaker 25 (02:02:43):
I appreciate it too, Shoopy, I'll take it.
Speaker 5 (02:02:47):
Congrats. Three hundred and six dollars is yours, Grab Santa Sack.
It's brought to you by Zodford and Holly Michigan. Congratulations
to you, Thank you so much.
Speaker 13 (02:02:55):
Holidays to all of you.
Speaker 12 (02:02:56):
To you too.
Speaker 6 (02:02:57):
Appreciate you.
Speaker 5 (02:02:58):
Shelley, hold on one second. Okay, all right, Mojo in
the Morning show your home of War of the Roses.
Second date update, Dirty on the thirty. This is a
salacious title Family Picks with the Mistress.
Speaker 55 (02:03:13):
Oh my god.
Speaker 7 (02:03:14):
Okay, so this is something that is happening to a
relative of mine right now. She's going through a really ugly,
messy divorce. Poor thing and her soon to be ex
husband ended up having an affair, and so it's all
just just fresh and confusing for the kids too. They
(02:03:35):
have three little ones, like little little ones, and on
top of everything that's going on with the divorce and
the holiday and you know, everybody's in therapy, her soon
to be ex husband decided it would be a great
idea if he and his mistress take family holiday photos
(02:03:57):
with his kids and her kids and post them all
over social media. Wow, he's divorced yet really well, the
divorce has been going on for since the spring.
Speaker 6 (02:04:12):
So she found out about the affair. I'm assuming yes,
just prior or longer than that about the affair.
Speaker 7 (02:04:19):
Before they filed for they tried to work things out
and it just he was not willing to leave this woman.
Speaker 9 (02:04:24):
So is there any reason, Like did he tell her like, hey,
the kids would really love this or something.
Speaker 7 (02:04:30):
No, and she I'm trying not to get involved, but
she said that the kids were very uncomfortable during the
photo shoot because the photographer kept calling the mistress cozy
up to mommy cozy, and nobody corrected her.
Speaker 10 (02:04:45):
That's so awkward.
Speaker 6 (02:04:47):
It's kind of a weird thing whenever people have an
affair and then they stay together for the family members, Like,
it's got to be really awkward. Where if the you know,
couple and I don't know if you're ever in this,
you got to call us up or text us in
nine five five zero zero.
Speaker 5 (02:05:06):
And if you do have a story that relates to
what I'm about to say, you can text call me
and Lydia will put you on. But when two people
have an affair while there's a marriage going on, and
then they stay together in a relationship and you have kids,
the kids are never going to look at that person
as somebody that they have any respect for, absolutely, because
(02:05:27):
they're going to show they're already probably showing lack of
respected in their dad for doing this, and now there's
even more lack of respect than the woman that knew
that he was married.
Speaker 6 (02:05:36):
You know what I mean. I think dad, that they're
going to have a picture is amazing.
Speaker 8 (02:05:40):
I think my dad was cheating on my mom with
this lady and he got with her after they had
they divorce. I never respect her because, like looking at her,
the side of her was the image of why my
family had broken up, you.
Speaker 6 (02:05:54):
Know what I mean, Like she seems stand a chance. Yeah,
they didn't do any pictures did.
Speaker 7 (02:05:58):
They do a family and then post them everywhere? And
I said to my relative, you can't control what he
does or what he does with the kids on his
time for the most part, unfortunately, And this sucks. And
that's why I said, you know, you're at this point,
it's probably best because she can see this woman's stuf.
(02:06:19):
I'm like, just block block so you don't see it
for right now until you need to have a relationship
with her. But for your own peace, insanity.
Speaker 5 (02:06:29):
I I'm getting calls coming in. I'm gonna grab these
calls here in a second, but I want to do this.
I want to take a quick break. I got to
get a bunch of commercials in here. Let's do a
shot and I can't because I got enough medical procedure
coming up here. No no shots for me, Just a
couple couple commercials, and then I want to take some
(02:06:50):
calls on this one pictures with the mistress. Has anybody
ever done this? And what the hell ever happens to
these pictures? Is any I can't.
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
Tell your mom is coming up next on Mojo in
the morning.
Speaker 16 (02:07:05):
You like Detroit next most your grand rabbit? And I
heard radio stations.
Speaker 1 (02:07:11):
Real people, real lives, real fun, Mojo in the morning,
guaranteed human.
Speaker 6 (02:07:17):
All right, just a quick recap.
Speaker 5 (02:07:19):
So Shannon has a family member, yes, that just recently
went through some drama where the husband cheated on the
wife and now is with the mistress. And the husband,
the ex husband or soon to be ex husband, wants
to do photos.
Speaker 7 (02:07:36):
Oh no, already did already did them, did family photos
with the mistress, her kids, and then his kids, and
they're all over social media. And again he's not even
divorced yet.
Speaker 17 (02:07:47):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (02:07:48):
Sarah commented on this, what's going on, Sarah, Hi, So to.
Speaker 25 (02:07:55):
The comment of the relationship with the the kids and
the mistress, My kids actually want me to be friends
with the said mistress, to the point where they were
actually okay with their dad being with both me and
(02:08:17):
the mistress at the same time.
Speaker 6 (02:08:18):
Oh my gosh, how old are your kids, Sarah?
Speaker 13 (02:08:23):
Ten and five?
Speaker 6 (02:08:25):
So this woman obviously must be doing some things to
suck up to the kids. Huh.
Speaker 25 (02:08:32):
Oh absolutely, So.
Speaker 5 (02:08:34):
The kids obviously are young. I mean, your kids are young.
I wouldn't take it out on your kids that they're
thinking this. They probably just want peace.
Speaker 7 (02:08:39):
I was going to say, I don't even know what
that they understand. They probably want everybody to go here.
Speaker 6 (02:08:43):
Yet along ye old.
Speaker 26 (02:08:45):
My ten year old understands and she I've had conversations
and she has said, you know, Mom, I just want
you to be happy, and I know that dad makes
you happy and.
Speaker 25 (02:09:00):
You know, but I can't share him.
Speaker 6 (02:09:03):
Oh my god, that's well listen, you should never have to.
And he stepped out with this woman. And how did
he meet her?
Speaker 25 (02:09:13):
They were apparently high school friends. But I was married
to him for eleven years and I have never met
her a.
Speaker 7 (02:09:24):
Day in our marriage.
Speaker 6 (02:09:26):
Yeah, well I don't want to.
Speaker 7 (02:09:28):
Yeah, oh, I disagree with that. You want to know
who's around. You want to meet the person who's around
your kids.
Speaker 25 (02:09:33):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I mean that's met her and she's
growing on me. But I could never be friends with
her knowing.
Speaker 6 (02:09:47):
That she did.
Speaker 13 (02:09:47):
She's the reason.
Speaker 6 (02:09:49):
Well he's no longer married.
Speaker 5 (02:09:50):
And in both cases, you know, with Shannon's family member,
the guys were responsible.
Speaker 12 (02:09:56):
One.
Speaker 5 (02:09:56):
He shouldn't be out there doing this. But it's amazing
though that they want the kids to get so involved
in this thing. Uh Brie, you were the child of
this huh Brie, Hello, Hi, how you doing?
Speaker 6 (02:10:12):
Yes? You were the child of this.
Speaker 2 (02:10:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (02:10:16):
Actually, my parents divorced when I was like six or seven, but.
Speaker 7 (02:10:23):
It was because my dad was cheating with somebody and
he ended up marrying her buddy year after they got divorced.
Speaker 13 (02:10:30):
And she's still my stepmom. And this was This is
like almost forty years later about her. Now, Uh, me
and her are great. It was, it was, it was
pretty bumpy for probably fifteen years or so. Uh, because
(02:10:53):
her youngest was like eight years.
Speaker 3 (02:10:57):
Older than me.
Speaker 5 (02:10:58):
So did you guys, Yeah, did you guys ever when
you were younger? Younger, did you guys ever have to
do like family photos with both families?
Speaker 24 (02:11:10):
No?
Speaker 13 (02:11:11):
Actually, my mom and my stepmom actually did not meet
to like graduated from college.
Speaker 6 (02:11:16):
Oh my gosh. Wow. Was it at your graduation that
they met? M pardon what it was at your graduation?
Speaker 13 (02:11:25):
They met my college graduation?
Speaker 6 (02:11:28):
Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 13 (02:11:30):
Yeah, that they actually mention in person.
Speaker 6 (02:11:32):
Does your mom now as you are an adult woman,
does your mom like this woman or have cordial conversation
with this woman? Or does she still think that she's
a homewrecker?
Speaker 13 (02:11:42):
They I mean, they don't really, they really don't talk.
I think the maybe handful of times if they've talked,
they I mean, it's they don't really get into conversations.
It's just like a high how you're doing. I don't
I think since so many years.
Speaker 46 (02:11:57):
Have gone by, I don't think there's any ill will
now or you know, any hard feelings now.
Speaker 13 (02:12:02):
But yeah, and my dad worked with her, so with
my stepmom. So yeah, so it's you know, and you know,
the the you know, wedding photos. When my dad and
her got married, I was like eight years old, so
that was but I figured it out pretty quick. When
I was that young, I had already kind of known.
(02:12:23):
Nobody told me, but I kind of figured it out.
Speaker 6 (02:12:25):
Wow, it's amazing to see, how you know, over the
years it can change things where you guys can actually
be nice with them because obviously they ain't going anywhere,
you know, And it's too bad that the kids got
to get involved in it. Initial be what's up, Hi,
good morning guys, your voiceless guys, Good morning. What's going on?
Speaker 20 (02:12:45):
So when I was like twelve, my.
Speaker 55 (02:12:50):
Mom she was actively cheating on my dad and she
was kicking up on like vacations and the such with
this guy. And like I remember being dropped off at
like a camp and turning to my roommate and being like,
I think my mom's cheating on my dad with this guy.
(02:13:16):
Was saying she set us down to tell us that
she was dating him, and I was just like.
Speaker 20 (02:13:23):
I know and walked out.
Speaker 6 (02:13:25):
Wow, who did she say at the time?
Speaker 17 (02:13:27):
This guy?
Speaker 6 (02:13:28):
Strange guy was that was going on vacations.
Speaker 55 (02:13:30):
With you, guys, her friend. You're coming over like every weekend.
Speaker 6 (02:13:35):
Where was your daddy? My dad worked tonight, so dad
was at work. That's crazy, It's amazing. So is she
still with this guy?
Speaker 12 (02:13:46):
No?
Speaker 55 (02:13:47):
He actually messaged me like a couple of years after
they broke up, just like apologizing to me on Facebook.
Start breaking up my family.
Speaker 6 (02:13:58):
And at the time.
Speaker 55 (02:14:01):
At the time that they started dating.
Speaker 6 (02:14:03):
No, that he messaged you, I was about eighteen. How
did this affect your relationship with your mom growing up?
Speaker 55 (02:14:13):
Our relationship is still very strained. But I woke up
in the middle of the night to her trying to
leave the house and move in with him.
Speaker 4 (02:14:23):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (02:14:25):
Man, that's well, I mean, there's proof on that one.
Har It's not just the guys that are cheating. The
moms are cheating too. So let's not make all guys
look bad. Thank Shannon uh her busting cheaters, Nicole Natalie,
(02:14:46):
Nicole isn't what's going on? Julian Julianne, Yeah, good, can
you hear me?
Speaker 6 (02:14:53):
How you doing all right?
Speaker 22 (02:14:54):
I'm good.
Speaker 4 (02:14:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 22 (02:14:56):
This really struck to my heart because my mom and
were married twenty seven years and then they divorced, and
really quickly after he was with this woman and we
think that they were probably dating for about ten years
of my parents' marriage.
Speaker 34 (02:15:12):
Yeah, and then and then.
Speaker 22 (02:15:14):
So I had to, you know, talk my mom through
a lot of different things, and then.
Speaker 13 (02:15:18):
This woman ended up leaving my dad.
Speaker 22 (02:15:20):
I was saying exactly think I was saying to my
mom to my dad, But I was like, oh, he
kind of deserved it, if you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (02:15:28):
Yeah, it's wild. In the case with Shannon's family member
and stuff. That guy is not thinking at all about
the long term of his kids and how they're going
to think about him. He's thinking, honestly about just his packer,
you know what I mean, Like he's thinking about what
this woman brings to him excitement wise, and he's trying
(02:15:48):
to force family on these kids, like you are not You're.
Speaker 4 (02:15:54):
Not even divorced.
Speaker 7 (02:15:55):
I'm so icky the whole thing.
Speaker 5 (02:15:57):
Does a court look at something like that and say,
would a judge look at that and go, you know what,
that's bad decision making, you know, you know, it's.
Speaker 7 (02:16:04):
One thing like we've heard these stories from people who
just called of like Okay, if they end up getting
together and getting married down the road, like yeah, that's
your family. Okay, you're gonna take family holiday photos. It's
just a timing right now.
Speaker 41 (02:16:14):
Well, let me just.
Speaker 25 (02:16:14):
Tell you this.
Speaker 22 (02:16:15):
My dad got remarried, but we could never when we
had kids, we never could let her. We could We
didn't want them to say grandma to this lady. Like
that's how strained it was, because it was like this
was the woman. And by the way it was, I
was in my mid twenties when the divorce was all happening,
and it affected me deeply. So I don't care what
age it could be, five to ten, mid twenties. It
(02:16:38):
really does effect, especially all that added to the divorce,
you know, and then the mistress and the remarriage.
Speaker 13 (02:16:45):
And oh it's terrible.
Speaker 5 (02:16:46):
Julianne, thank you so much. I appreciate your call. Yeah,
all right, Mojo in the morning, Hey, we're going to
do five Lives to tell your mom. If you would
ever like to be on five Lives to tell your mom,
you have a chance to.
Speaker 6 (02:16:59):
For the new year. You can actually get mom and
have some fun. Scammer. Text mom to nine five to
five zero zero.
Speaker 16 (02:17:07):
It's Mojo in the morning. Sweet five lies to tell your.
Speaker 4 (02:17:19):
La la la la, la la la.
Speaker 6 (02:17:21):
Hold on a second, hair, I just screwed up something.
Hold on a second, stand by doing over there, stand
by for broadcast history. Here, Hold on a second. My
thing is not that's not good radio. Hold on a second.
Speaker 17 (02:17:33):
I got it.
Speaker 7 (02:17:33):
That reset, got it?
Speaker 6 (02:17:35):
I got to reset. I gotta reset the system. All right,
here we go.
Speaker 16 (02:17:39):
It's Mojo in the morning. Sweet five lies to tell your.
Speaker 6 (02:17:45):
Five lies to tell your mom. Caitlyn's on with us. Hi, Caitlin, Hi,
We got Bionce hare Bianco. What it's Caitlyn going to
be up to today?
Speaker 24 (02:17:55):
So Caitlyn's been with her boyfriend John for about ten years,
but the grandma absolutely hates him because he's a big smoker,
has caused a lot of issues in the past. Oh,
so we're gonna pretend that John is trying to move
in with Grandma.
Speaker 7 (02:18:07):
Now, Oh my god, I love it.
Speaker 6 (02:18:09):
Five lies to tell Grandma this morning.
Speaker 7 (02:18:11):
Oh my gosh, my Grandma's actually misfit, Grandma Cathy.
Speaker 5 (02:18:15):
Oh my god, I love Grandma Kathy. Okay, I always
thought Grandma Cathy was a smoker. For God's sakes, No,
I was wondering if she smoked any of the funny stuff.
But all right, here we go. Five lies to tell
your mom. Lie number one, you're gonna say, Grandma. John
got kicked out of his house. Lie number two.
Speaker 7 (02:18:36):
He got into a fight with his dad.
Speaker 6 (02:18:39):
Lie number three, we want to know if we can
move in with you. Lie number four.
Speaker 10 (02:18:46):
John even said that he will share his goods with you.
Speaker 6 (02:18:50):
In lie number five, he will be on his best behavior. Okay, perfect,
I always knew, and I tell you, Grandma Kathy, I
thought that she was, but she's not.
Speaker 20 (02:19:03):
Huh so not at all.
Speaker 6 (02:19:06):
Right, we're calling her out for five lives.
Speaker 20 (02:19:09):
Okay, hello.
Speaker 25 (02:19:22):
Grandma.
Speaker 34 (02:19:24):
Yeah, so a network.
Speaker 20 (02:19:27):
But I got to talk to you about something.
Speaker 4 (02:19:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (02:19:31):
John got kicked out of his parents' house with the kids.
Speaker 20 (02:19:37):
Got yes, because him and his dad got into a fight.
Speaker 7 (02:19:42):
So he asked me to ask you if we can
move in with you and Grandpa are you out of
your mind. She said that she would share his goods
with you. No, please, he said he would be on
his best behavior.
Speaker 13 (02:19:57):
No, why not?
Speaker 4 (02:20:02):
Is this a joke?
Speaker 12 (02:20:04):
No?
Speaker 20 (02:20:04):
What are we supposed to do?
Speaker 43 (02:20:07):
I don't know, but it's not gonna be here.
Speaker 2 (02:20:10):
Call your mother.
Speaker 34 (02:20:13):
Why do you get in a fight?
Speaker 42 (02:20:14):
Which is sad?
Speaker 3 (02:20:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 20 (02:20:16):
I guess they got into a fight over a bill
or something.
Speaker 43 (02:20:21):
Because he's not working and paying anything.
Speaker 2 (02:20:25):
Yeah, well that makes sense. I just don't know what
to do.
Speaker 7 (02:20:31):
Because it's Sophie's birthday.
Speaker 43 (02:20:33):
I am not having him in my house.
Speaker 20 (02:20:38):
Could I have him drop the kids off to you?
Speaker 25 (02:20:41):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:20:42):
Right now, I'm in the bathroom.
Speaker 14 (02:20:45):
So what are you gonna do about all your Christmas
stuff and that?
Speaker 13 (02:20:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 20 (02:20:50):
I'm gonna have to take it to Emory's or something,
or I don't know. Maybe we can do Christmas morning
at your house.
Speaker 33 (02:20:56):
No, not with him, I don't I just don't know
what to.
Speaker 4 (02:21:01):
Do, Grandma, Yes, how did you know?
Speaker 6 (02:21:13):
I wanted to be John? I wanted to I wanted
to see if I get you even more riled up?
Speaker 30 (02:21:18):
You know what you could?
Speaker 3 (02:21:20):
He knows?
Speaker 6 (02:21:21):
Why why do you not like John.
Speaker 43 (02:21:25):
Oh God, don't get me.
Speaker 2 (02:21:27):
Don't get me started. Yeah, it's better I keep.
Speaker 6 (02:21:31):
It off the air away.
Speaker 7 (02:21:32):
Can you get off the toilet before you continue this conversation, please?
Speaker 8 (02:21:38):
Okay, Grandma, you're on five lives to tell your mom.
Speaker 43 (02:21:45):
You know what, she's a little I should have figured something.
Speaker 13 (02:21:51):
Out right away.
Speaker 43 (02:21:53):
And you know what's funny, Mojo, I was thinking about
you just see yester day that when we saw slam
as miss and all the time that I want tickets
from you.
Speaker 5 (02:22:04):
Yeah, well guess what, you just want another prize from us.
This time though you're doing it on the toilet. This
is fantastic kill her.
Speaker 43 (02:22:16):
This is all over the rating.
Speaker 20 (02:22:19):
I'm literally shaking.
Speaker 5 (02:22:20):
Oh my gosh. Well, listen, Grandma. We love you so much.
And Grandma's no best Caitlin, so you got to listen
to Grandma.
Speaker 6 (02:22:29):
Kathy. Okay, I know, I know, all right, we love you.
Speaker 50 (02:22:33):
I'm just glad she won a prize because she does
so much for me and going through so much with
my grandpa.
Speaker 6 (02:22:38):
So, oh man, we're thinking of you, Kathy.
Speaker 43 (02:22:41):
You know, I just got out of my car and
turned off your station and came in the house to
go to bathroom and your bus mate.
Speaker 5 (02:22:48):
Yeah, that's okay, Well you can go back and listen again.
We love you, Kathy, I love you.
Speaker 16 (02:22:55):
It's Mojo in the Morning, five Lives.
Speaker 17 (02:23:00):
To tell you.
Speaker 6 (02:23:03):
I couldn't even tell she was on the toilet. I
actually usually talk on the toilet all the time too,
And nine out of ten times I think people can't tell,
but they probably can't.
Speaker 5 (02:23:13):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning show. A little tired.
I be quite honest with you, I'm a lot tired.
I'm not going to tell you I'm not tired.
Speaker 7 (02:23:21):
That was me yesterday.
Speaker 6 (02:23:23):
For me, it was, you know, the driving back and
forth with the holiday party last night. Was it a rager?
Speaker 5 (02:23:29):
Is that why you're tired? It was, you know, it
was actually fun, okay with a with a small F,
not a big F. Okay, lowercase fun. So it was fun.
It was fun to see all the promo people like.
There wasn't the the turnout wasn't as big as I
thought it was going to be.
Speaker 28 (02:23:48):
Same.
Speaker 7 (02:23:49):
I was actually really surprised, give me.
Speaker 10 (02:23:50):
The amount of cars that were outside. I was like,
where are all these?
Speaker 53 (02:23:53):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (02:23:54):
Whose cars were those?
Speaker 10 (02:23:55):
I don't know?
Speaker 7 (02:23:56):
Anna and I parked in a snow Bank.
Speaker 6 (02:23:58):
It literally it.
Speaker 5 (02:23:59):
Looked like it was like really busy, but it was
all all the promo staff was here, which was really
nice to see all these guys who they deserve it.
You know, they they probably make the least amount of
money that's here and do a ton of work to
make us all look good on our promotions and things.
Speaker 6 (02:24:14):
And you know, it was it was.
Speaker 5 (02:24:17):
It was one of those things where it's funny. First off,
I will tell you, and I'm not going to get
back into the whole thing because you heard my rant
about Christmas parties. You don't have Christmas parties at your
office because all it is is going back into work,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 6 (02:24:30):
Like, what did I say?
Speaker 5 (02:24:31):
Well, last week I had the greatest line of them all,
I think I said. It's basically it's basically like having
I can't even remember. Yeah, it was like overtime, Yeah, exactly,
overtime with cookies.
Speaker 7 (02:24:42):
I even said to Zach at one point, I have
so much best off to schedule, I might sneak away
for a half hour.
Speaker 6 (02:24:49):
That Yeah. Yeah, it makes you.
Speaker 5 (02:24:51):
It makes you think, like when you get when you
go to a holiday party, you I think need to
step away from it a little bit. Yeah, but I
am not going to lie on something. I got a
one up on Jay Towers because I did not see
Jay Towers at this holiday party.
Speaker 7 (02:25:05):
Didn't see any of his show. Where were they?
Speaker 6 (02:25:07):
Chelsea was there? I said, I didn't see her. Okay,
so Chelsea was there. I did not see Jay.
Speaker 5 (02:25:12):
And I was all excited about the fact that Jay
wasn't there because I was thinking to myself and like going,
oh good, I can go and complain to Tony Trevado
and I can say to him, well, the prize Possession
of Christmas didn't show up to the party, and I
got all excited about it. And then Josh, who does
the morning show on one O six seven wheels.
Speaker 3 (02:25:34):
There he is.
Speaker 6 (02:25:35):
Josh, wait, come on in for a second. Grab him
for a second.
Speaker 12 (02:25:38):
He is.
Speaker 2 (02:25:40):
So funny.
Speaker 6 (02:25:40):
Josh, come in. I'm talking about the holiday party.
Speaker 12 (02:25:43):
To come in.
Speaker 3 (02:25:44):
I heard.
Speaker 39 (02:25:44):
I was in the bathroom and I heard you talking
about it. So you're a fraud. Why am I You're
a fraud? Because don't act like you're gonna sit here
and be like it was a nice little part. The
most catty person ever at.
Speaker 6 (02:25:55):
This thing, so give her. Give us the real. So
I think I really pissed.
Speaker 39 (02:25:59):
Off because I was like, are we gonna get We're
gonna get some Buddy's pizza.
Speaker 4 (02:26:05):
Nope, nope.
Speaker 5 (02:26:05):
Turns out were like, Oh, don't act like like you're
some innocent guy, I said, I said before the party,
I go, Yeah, it's gonna be a great party.
Speaker 6 (02:26:13):
We're gonna get Buddy's piasa. I guess what we got
Shields pizza.
Speaker 12 (02:26:16):
But no.
Speaker 17 (02:26:17):
But I only know this.
Speaker 39 (02:26:18):
Because there were four people there. So I got to
talk with Mojo, so I'm gonna hear all the caddy stuff.
Speaker 5 (02:26:25):
I love talking to you, and I love talking to
your wife Jillie. Actually I like talking to her more
than I like talking to you. But you are you
amuse me because.
Speaker 6 (02:26:31):
Of thanks.
Speaker 4 (02:26:34):
He amuses me.
Speaker 6 (02:26:35):
Get your shigne box. Have you ever been officially diagnosed
with autism? And all?
Speaker 5 (02:26:39):
Because there might be a little bit on the spectrum somewhere,
but okay, no, But here's the thing. So I so
I said to Josh, I go, I'm just waiting. I'm
staying here for as long as I possibly can, and
then I'm tomorrow going to go on the air and
rant about Jay Towers not being there. Only to find
out he did show up. I showed up at five
(02:27:01):
forty eight, which the party started at five thirty. J
I guess was here at four o'clock. And I guess
he made an appearance at four o'clock.
Speaker 7 (02:27:07):
Doesn't count.
Speaker 4 (02:27:09):
This doesn't count.
Speaker 7 (02:27:11):
The party started at by thirty.
Speaker 6 (02:27:12):
The party started five thirty. Wait, but he got here,
but he was You didn't if he was let's say,
but no, but I I guess he showed up at
four o'clock, so he took he was here at four,
he made his appearance, and then he left.
Speaker 10 (02:27:26):
That's the case.
Speaker 9 (02:27:27):
We made our appearance at five am when we were here,
well or five pm. Yeahs come to the office and there.
Speaker 6 (02:27:37):
Okay, now I guess what what was he?
Speaker 7 (02:27:39):
He was probably doing something magnificent too for the community.
Oh don't and then you're gonna feel bad.
Speaker 6 (02:27:44):
Un out here giving presents. This doesn't I'm actually.
Speaker 7 (02:27:50):
Trying to defend Mojo with this statement of saying, don't
go after him, because it's going to fight you in
the ass.
Speaker 5 (02:27:57):
Listen, I was excited about the fact that he wasn't there,
only to mine out he was here. I'm giving I'm
sticking up for the guy. He was there, he did
show up. Why don't we Why don't we call him? Uh,
he's given away a car. I think right now at
Genesis Chevrolet.
Speaker 6 (02:28:10):
I need to get over to Genesis Chevrolet.
Speaker 39 (02:28:12):
What's funny, though, is so when we got there at
like five thirty two, like my boss, Casey and like
Colleen were the only people there, and I felt like
a total jerk.
Speaker 6 (02:28:22):
I walk in.
Speaker 39 (02:28:22):
I'm like, so, is this the part? If I got
shown up a couple of minutes like that, I'd be like, cool,
I'm walking in. I feel like that's probably what you did,
because you walked in at like forty five. Yeah, so
you're probably like, good, I get to make an entrance.
Speaker 6 (02:28:35):
I'm mojo. Yeah. The bricks, the more band by the way,
they were good, but they were They're like what are
we doing? It was it was one of those things.
It was a part.
Speaker 5 (02:28:48):
Listen, this has been a year, right for everybody. Everybody's
you know, dealing with stuff. Everybody's companies are dealing with stuff.
Speaker 6 (02:28:54):
And I get it. Budgets are's height next year.
Speaker 5 (02:28:57):
I'm telling you it will not cost the company a
It's gonna cost airwaves next year. Shannon and I if
they give us the go ahead, we're gonna trade that
bitch and we are going to make this thing.
Speaker 6 (02:29:09):
The greatest party that has ever happened. We're just judging
Colleen for trading. No no, no, no, no, you don't
understand then, No, no, I ain't trading buddies.
Speaker 5 (02:29:19):
I'm trading. I mean we're Shannon's already got it picked out.
We're gonna we're gonna take a private jet somewhere or something.
Speaker 10 (02:29:25):
Did for everyone.
Speaker 39 (02:29:27):
I did not say anything enjoy like how catty you
are about the other like cities? The iHeart cities because
like we're sitting there talking.
Speaker 6 (02:29:33):
And you're like, I bet you, I bet you. Elvis
Duran doesn't have d Buddies pizza.
Speaker 4 (02:29:40):
It was sealed, honestly.
Speaker 5 (02:29:43):
Do you think do you think Elvis Duran goes to
their holiday party Nose in New Mexico?
Speaker 7 (02:29:51):
I bet he does.
Speaker 5 (02:29:52):
Do you think Ryan Seacrest? Do you think Ryan Seacrest
goes to the Kiss Holiday?
Speaker 6 (02:29:57):
I bet?
Speaker 4 (02:29:58):
I bet Ryan.
Speaker 5 (02:29:58):
Seacrest has never met anyone. He doesn't know who his
boss at. But I but I am telling you though,
that the one thing I didn't love the promo. People
were all here they were all excited. They brought friends
with them and stuff, and I was happy to see that,
and it made me remember back to when I was
in their position. I loved going and getting invited to
(02:30:19):
the holiday party. That's why we're going to make it
bigger than ever next year, I promise you well.
Speaker 39 (02:30:23):
I enjoyed that Anna came in dressed like she was
going to like some sort of elegant ball.
Speaker 6 (02:30:27):
Unbelievable.
Speaker 18 (02:30:28):
But to be honest, you felt dumb, didn't you?
Speaker 12 (02:30:30):
Like?
Speaker 9 (02:30:30):
No, I didn't, because the day before that we had
a party at the DAC and I wasn't dressed nice enough,
so I was like, I'm not going home again to change.
Speaker 39 (02:30:38):
No, in the chick equivalent of a tuxedo, Like it
was almost ironic. You look phenomenal, laughing at us. You
and I were in like jeans and towers. Ain't even
there three in the afternoons.
Speaker 6 (02:30:55):
What's up, Andrew? Are you doing here?
Speaker 16 (02:30:59):
You timeline time?
Speaker 3 (02:31:00):
He damn.
Speaker 12 (02:31:05):
So.
Speaker 56 (02:31:05):
Before I made my comment, guys, I just want to
thank you guys every day. You guys are great. I
listen to you every morning. Congratulations on your home hold, thank.
Speaker 6 (02:31:15):
You, thank you, buddy.
Speaker 5 (02:31:16):
I appreciate it, you earn it, you put in the
work man every day. Appreciate you, buddy, Thank you man.
What's what's going on is that that's not what you're
calling about. Are you what are you calling about?
Speaker 12 (02:31:25):
No?
Speaker 6 (02:31:25):
No, no.
Speaker 56 (02:31:26):
My comment is I worked at a previous dealership. I'm
not at liberty to say, you know, I don't want
to air their business on the air or whatever. The
Christmas party every year was great. I was there for
like five years and basically they hit Christmas parties every
year at this fancied up place. You dress up to
the nines, blah blah, whatever, you get a nice dinner,
(02:31:48):
you pick your dinner, you take your.
Speaker 17 (02:31:50):
Spouse, whatever, and there's an open bar.
Speaker 2 (02:31:53):
Well.
Speaker 56 (02:31:54):
Some people took it as oh, I'm gonna drink to
like pass out, okay, And it ruins and it ruins
everything for everybody.
Speaker 3 (02:32:04):
It ruins the meaning.
Speaker 17 (02:32:05):
It makes everybody look.
Speaker 5 (02:32:06):
Like idiot Andrew. They're happy you're not there anymore. You
sound like I'm sure they're not hey that you sound
like you're the no party person. I want one of
those parties at the dealership.
Speaker 56 (02:32:21):
Oh, trust me, I'm a party animal.
Speaker 4 (02:32:23):
Man.
Speaker 56 (02:32:23):
When I throw down, I throw down.
Speaker 17 (02:32:25):
But It's like you gotta have some kind of etiquette. Man.
Speaker 5 (02:32:27):
Oh there's well, listen, you want etiquette, have Shields Pizza
that will give you etiquette. But no, I don't know,
but I will say this. You know, and this is
not the dealership I know for a fact. But the
Zod family has their holiday party every year.
Speaker 6 (02:32:44):
Yeah, they do.
Speaker 5 (02:32:45):
They This is no joke. I was invited one year. Okay,
one year. Steve Gabara said that I could be a
guest at it.
Speaker 4 (02:32:50):
I didn't go.
Speaker 5 (02:32:51):
Steve took pictures of the thing. It was the biggest
blowout I've ever seen. I think they buy like ten.
Speaker 6 (02:32:58):
To twenty thousand dollars worth of gifts to give to
the the spouses I think it is or significant others
with the Shields pizza. It was their variety.
Speaker 20 (02:33:07):
Yes there was.
Speaker 4 (02:33:08):
There was no gluten free.
Speaker 7 (02:33:10):
There was Friday. I had banana, peppers and sausage.
Speaker 5 (02:33:13):
Only thing gluten free was the veggie Trade. Go ahead,
Tony Trotrono just walked in. Are you mad at us
for talking about this? I missed the whole conversation. So
they just said, go in the studio there. Why did
you know what the heck you're talking.
Speaker 6 (02:33:25):
About Josh is complaining about the holiday party. I thought
the party was great. I was talking to a son
about what happens life after death and all kinds of stuff.
It's always what a great conversation to have the holiday.
What the hell is going on? Absolutely?
Speaker 12 (02:33:41):
You know what?
Speaker 6 (02:33:42):
I think it's great that you are going to be
the party planner. Shannon and I are co sharing it.
You are coach hearing. I think that's great. I think
I think that would be great that Colleen doesn't have
to worry about it.
Speaker 4 (02:33:52):
How is it gonna be?
Speaker 12 (02:33:54):
No?
Speaker 6 (02:33:54):
No, I love playing a party Little Caesar's Arena, and
we're going to invite ten thousand piano.
Speaker 5 (02:33:59):
Shannon and I have a couple of ideas. When one
of them is we're thinking of having it at your house.
Come on, happy, We're going to actually have it. We're
going to get it again.
Speaker 6 (02:34:15):
Hold on, we can do that.
Speaker 5 (02:34:16):
Hold on a second. Steve Gabar is on with us, right.
See what did the Zos do for a party?
Speaker 20 (02:34:23):
Listen?
Speaker 19 (02:34:23):
I'm glad you mentioned the Z party because I got
to take my head off to Todd and Sad for
the twenty three almost years i've been there. The party
is off the hook, and you got to come next
year so you can see the real deal.
Speaker 12 (02:34:36):
Mojo.
Speaker 2 (02:34:37):
I want you mentioned.
Speaker 19 (02:34:38):
They give away probably fifty thousand dollars in gifts. It's
open to it's all of all of our team, everybody's
spouse and everybody's children. About four hundred and fifty people
at this party.
Speaker 17 (02:34:53):
It's open bar, food.
Speaker 19 (02:34:55):
Gifts, It's it's nothing. I've never been any place that
does anything like it.
Speaker 4 (02:34:59):
Breaking this year?
Speaker 6 (02:35:01):
Where is it?
Speaker 4 (02:35:02):
And when is that?
Speaker 6 (02:35:02):
I'm there?
Speaker 17 (02:35:04):
It was last week?
Speaker 6 (02:35:05):
Okay, oh wow, Yeah.
Speaker 19 (02:35:08):
Hold on, but you know what, and I can mark
you down as one of my kids.
Speaker 33 (02:35:11):
I don't have any depends.
Speaker 9 (02:35:13):
I was going to ask you, Steve, how's your sack feeling.
It's been getting grabbed a lot.
Speaker 19 (02:35:18):
I noticed it was definitely getting punished this morning. When
I it's it's it's healing.
Speaker 17 (02:35:23):
Well, I'm on the way down there so you guys
can inspect it yourself.
Speaker 6 (02:35:26):
Hold on, Derek, Derek, you worked for Zott and you
went to one of their parties.
Speaker 12 (02:35:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 32 (02:35:30):
I do all the windows for Zots. Actually, I'm going
to see see Steve at Ford today. I gotta do
their glass. But yeah, he bactually mentioned what they give away.
It's just unbelievable, and fifty thousand dollars is probably an understatement.
Speaker 6 (02:35:45):
Yeah, that's amazing.
Speaker 5 (02:35:46):
Well, hey, listen, whoever their party planner is, you said
that in Todd, Shannon and I will be getting with
you guys to have a conversation about party planning a
holiday party.
Speaker 6 (02:35:57):
You're going to regret making that offer in about two days.
Why No, I'm Tony. I said this already.
Speaker 5 (02:36:06):
Even if we don't even need to have the holiday
party before the holidays, even if we said the holiday.
Speaker 6 (02:36:11):
Party is going to be January that I think you.
Speaker 7 (02:36:15):
Got to do it before the holiday, then you're in
the spirit.
Speaker 6 (02:36:18):
But here's here's the thing. Everybody's busy during the.
Speaker 7 (02:36:20):
Holidays can already and we haven't even started planning.
Speaker 6 (02:36:24):
All right. I guess she's the head chair and I'm
the I'm the assistant, I'm the vice chair of this one.
I'm here. But but no, but we're gonna We're gonna
do it. We're gonna have fun.
Speaker 5 (02:36:35):
And honestly, I will say this, this the one thing
that we do have here in this and this is
no joke and I'm not throwing this out there because Colleen,
I think, is mad at me. We have the best
boss in the world who truly does care about us
and cares about us three hundred and sixty days of
the year, the last four days of the year. No, No,
she cares so much. The last thing in the world
(02:36:58):
she needs is to be planning a holiday party. She's
got to run a company. They say she drove here
from New York. It's crazy.
Speaker 6 (02:37:03):
If that ain't dedication, I don't know what.
Speaker 5 (02:37:05):
Honest and honestly, she cares about us personally, cares about
our families, and I think she's wonderful. It has no
reflection to do on her. Budgets are tight, things are tight,
and things like that. We're going to do this thing
without a budget because you know what we're going to do.
We're doing it Paul Corvino style.
Speaker 6 (02:37:19):
Listen, you building it up, all the trash, you hyping
it up.
Speaker 5 (02:37:25):
Do you know how many free commercials I had to
do for what was it called Project eleven eleven? Project
eleven eleven? Look, I need I need to buy project
eight hundred, eight hundred million dollars where the trade is.
Speaker 16 (02:37:37):
Going to hard to go into the company Christmas party?
Is it dumb people in the office that need to
find a new job the next day.
Speaker 4 (02:37:43):
This is Mocho in the Morning.
Speaker 6 (02:37:44):
What nobody lost their job yesterday except for maybe me
and Josh. We're talking about towers today. Right now, we're
gonna give you Morgan wall In tickets taxed Morgan m
O R G A N to nine five five zero zero.
You could be going to the Big House to see
Morgan Wallin in July. Text Morgan to nine five five
zero zero.
Speaker 3 (02:38:04):
Well, Jordan, the Mornings Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 6 (02:38:07):
All right, last Dirty of the morning with Shannon.
Speaker 7 (02:38:09):
What's your name? What's your last name? Are you famous?
Those were the three questions that Nick Reiner was asking
everybody at Conan O'Brien's holiday party twenty four hours before
he killed his parents. What's your name, what's your name?
What's your last name? Are you famous? And those are
the three questions that he went up to former SNL
(02:38:30):
star Bill Hayter and asked him while Bill was having
a conversation with somebody else, and Bill said to him,
I'm trying to have some privacy here. Please go away.
Essentially not forbadam, but and that's what you know. He
Nick Reiner was actually asked to leave that party so
(02:38:50):
earlier in the night. We're now learning that he had
gotten into a confrontation with his dad, Rob Reiner, and
his dad was so embarrassed by what had happened that
he and his wife, Michelle mom left the party. Nick
stayed and continued with this erratic behavior that attendees said
it was just very apparent something was going on. He
was making a lot of people feel very, very uncomfortable.
(02:39:14):
The next afternoon, Robin Michelle found dead in their Brentwood home.
Nick was arrested and charged with their murders, two counts
of first degree murder. His attorney, Alan Jackson on why
Nick wasn't in the courtroom yesterday, his.
Speaker 6 (02:39:28):
Reason for not coming today. I know we've talked about
it on the elevator, but why is he here.
Speaker 14 (02:39:34):
Every inmate has to be medically cleared before they.
Speaker 6 (02:39:36):
Could be transported to the court. He has not been
medically cleared.
Speaker 16 (02:39:38):
It's just recdders.
Speaker 20 (02:39:40):
By the way.
Speaker 7 (02:39:40):
Ellen Jackson the same attorney who represented Karen Reid in
her famous recent trial. He's also repped Harvey Weinstein, Kevin Spacey.
Big big name that is.
Speaker 6 (02:39:50):
Coming in wondering how Nick is being able to pay
for this, because I'm assuming he only was able to
pay for anything because of his dad and the money
that dad made. But I wonder if he must have
like some kind of trust.
Speaker 7 (02:40:02):
Yeah, the Weekend in the dirty this morning for closing
a massive catalog deal worth a billion dollars with investment
firm Lyric Capital Group. And the thing is, he is
giving up zero creative control over his music in the process.
So rather than selling off all of his work and
walking away, the Weekend and his team structured this partnership
(02:40:24):
so they retain ownership and decision making power over his catalog,
including publishing and all of his masters. And everybody's saying
this model is going to set the precedent for other
artists to do the same. Jason Kelsey talking about the
potential that his brother Travis is retiring from the NFL
(02:40:45):
after this season.
Speaker 18 (02:40:46):
I think everybody's probably curious about what your brother will do.
You went through the process, and I understand he'll have
a process to go through.
Speaker 36 (02:40:52):
Is there a sense of how he'll approach that.
Speaker 6 (02:40:54):
Well, I'm curious too. I think it's you know, I
think you have, in my opinion, to to nail that decision.
You got to step away from the game.
Speaker 57 (02:41:03):
For a little bit, played these last three games, enjoying
with your teammates, enjoying with your coaches. You know the
team's gonna be different no matter whether you come back
or not next year. So enjoy these last three games
and then let it sink in, let it let it.
You know you it'll come to you with time.
Speaker 4 (02:41:16):
I think you can't.
Speaker 6 (02:41:17):
There's so many emotions with this game right after a season,
especially the way this one's been been so up and down.
I mean, the one that all of a sudden they
were damned.
Speaker 57 (02:41:25):
One score games like they've been close and for I don't.
Speaker 5 (02:41:29):
Think that Travis looked horrible. He just didn't look himself
like I would take him as one of our tight ends,
you know, because we don't have any tight ends right now.
But Travis was just wasn't Travis. And that's the problem
with the way he played. And I think that he's
somebody that I still could play a couple of more
years and still be fine.
Speaker 7 (02:41:48):
Yeah, and Leslie Kim Kardashian decided to give Santa Claus
a makeover over the weekend shoppers at her Skim's flagship
store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, had the
opportunity to meet Santa. However, he looked very different. His
suit was not red with the white for trim. It
was Skim's beige with the white for trim.
Speaker 16 (02:42:09):
I'm wearing this lovely out that the Kim Sydney and
it's the.
Speaker 6 (02:42:14):
Ultimate body suit.
Speaker 7 (02:42:15):
And oh people on social media commenting things like, where
is the color? Where is the actual Santa? Another? Oh
my god, she takes the color and fun out of
every fir's the voice. He actually looked like a good Santa.
But yeah, it didn't sound.
Speaker 6 (02:42:33):
Like Santa in Europe like that.
Speaker 8 (02:42:35):
That sounds like a European If you do damned, if
you don't anything, everybody want to complain least she brought
us Santa.
Speaker 5 (02:42:44):
Damn are you mad at too? About Josh and I
talking about the holiday party? I wouldn't hear you that. Actually,
Kate wants to comment on that. Would you want to say,
Kate about the holiday party that we were just talking about.
Speaker 13 (02:42:57):
I just wanted to remark that you're lucky to get
on in the first place. All my boss does is
hand me a card.
Speaker 10 (02:43:03):
How did I at least have.
Speaker 11 (02:43:04):
Money in it.
Speaker 6 (02:43:06):
Sometimes where do you work or do you want to
not say because you'll be bookkeeper?
Speaker 7 (02:43:11):
Okay, count let's all right if you missed anything from today,
so you can always go back and catch up on
the podcast on the free I heard we get more
Mojo in.
Speaker 3 (02:43:20):
The Morning dot com. Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the.
Speaker 18 (02:43:24):
Thirty be part of the show. Eight four four Mojo
Live eight four four sixty sixty five six five four
eight This there's Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 6 (02:43:35):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning Show. I
got so many holiday topics I want to talk about.
Speaker 5 (02:43:42):
I really do think when we talk about like company
holiday parties and stuff like that, that there are some
holiday parties that you see people do things that will
cost them their careers. And you know, we were having that,
you know, discussion just a moment ago talking about our
(02:44:04):
holiday party, and then we had that guy that called
up and said that he went to the holiday party
and was crazy and stuff. I want to throw a
couple of these out and see if this has ever happened.
I haven't done anyone listening who in a while, anyone
listening who has ever kissed or made out with a
coworker that you never have done this with at your
company holiday party.
Speaker 7 (02:44:25):
Listen to this as he's pouring himself a drink randomly
in the middle of this topic.
Speaker 5 (02:44:30):
Listen to this stat One in six people have admitted
to kissing a coworker at their company holiday party. And
I'm not talking like the you know, kiss on a
cheek type thing. I'm talking about You're like full on
making out, all right, that's why.
Speaker 6 (02:44:42):
Jamie O boobs in the back of her seat after
holiday part.
Speaker 9 (02:44:45):
Oh my gosh, her boobs.
Speaker 5 (02:44:53):
Okay, Okay, don't mention any names anymore. The next one
here is, is there anybody listening who has ever found
out that your coworker might have a drinking problem at
a holiday party, Maybe they drank a little too much
or went too crazy. Anyone listening who ever had a
(02:45:15):
coworker openly flirt with them or admit to a crush
at a company party. And then I wanted to throw
this out there as just a random one is skipping
the party career suicide? Like the are there any bosses
that are listening that will admit to us that not
going to the party without a good reason. I mean,
(02:45:36):
in cases of you have your other jobs, like Kevin
had his job last night and Lydia was working on
breaking and entering Christmas wish.
Speaker 12 (02:45:45):
You know.
Speaker 6 (02:45:45):
Yeah, that's tough. That's why you're not comming. I get it.
Speaker 5 (02:45:48):
I totally understand that. But is there anybody that's ever
had like the person not go It was weird. That
was one of the weird parts about our holiday party,
where some people were actually just getting off work that
worked in the building.
Speaker 7 (02:45:58):
Yeah, some of the sales people were still in here.
Speaker 5 (02:46:00):
Working well, the traffic department, so they do the traffic.
I saw the one of the reporters, the traffic reporters,
leaving with her dinner box because she works the night shift,
and so she's and she's leaving and walking out the door,
like I don't I didn't see her, and I'm thinking
to myself, I'm like going, wow, that that kind of sucks.
You forget that people have to actually work. You know,
(02:46:21):
company parties are cordially required.
Speaker 8 (02:46:24):
They make it sound like it's a it's a choice
in the matter, but it's absolutely not.
Speaker 7 (02:46:29):
I agree with you.
Speaker 8 (02:46:30):
Yeah, I feel like bosses are like scanning the room
and like identify there, who is it there? Taking mental notes.
Speaker 9 (02:46:38):
If it's a big party, I feel like you could
get away with it. Because when I worked for Rocket, like,
we had thousands of people at our part Yes, they would.
Speaker 10 (02:46:46):
Never have known.
Speaker 6 (02:46:48):
My brother Tony used to have these holiday parties. He
was a lawyer or is a lawyer, worked works at
a law firm, and they used to do out of
town holiday parties. Who at in cold or Wisconsin. There
was a there's a resort there. I think it's called
the Cooler Club or something like that.
Speaker 5 (02:47:04):
It's named after the company that makes toilet tree stuff
or toilet stuff. And they would stay there overnight and
no spouses were Remember talking about.
Speaker 10 (02:47:13):
My idea for next year party plays, my sister was
not happy.
Speaker 7 (02:47:19):
That is weird.
Speaker 6 (02:47:22):
That to me, says, we're FM. Yeah you're asking for.
Speaker 4 (02:47:24):
Me, Zach.
Speaker 6 (02:47:26):
Are you there, Zach?
Speaker 19 (02:47:27):
Yeah, I'm here all right?
Speaker 5 (02:47:28):
So anyone listening who we're talking about the holiday party
and the shenanigans going on?
Speaker 6 (02:47:32):
What did you do at a holiday party?
Speaker 2 (02:47:34):
I got wasted and coworkers told at the.
Speaker 7 (02:47:38):
Holiday party that's where, like, where did you do that?
Speaker 13 (02:47:42):
It was like an office room that you know, like
the copy storage room?
Speaker 4 (02:47:47):
So how did I like?
Speaker 19 (02:47:50):
I like pretty feet.
Speaker 6 (02:47:51):
So she had really pretty feet? Was your excuse to
why you actually were sucking on your coworkers' toes?
Speaker 17 (02:47:59):
Yes?
Speaker 10 (02:48:00):
Did you ask her? Did she offer?
Speaker 17 (02:48:04):
I did ask?
Speaker 6 (02:48:05):
Did either of you bring a date to the party
or did you just show up single?
Speaker 17 (02:48:09):
We showed up single.
Speaker 5 (02:48:11):
So did anybody in the office find that to be
kind of odd? Or did they not know about it?
Only the two of you knew about it.
Speaker 17 (02:48:17):
One person found out and they called me the toe hop.
Speaker 6 (02:48:21):
So she wasn't the only one.
Speaker 13 (02:48:24):
No, no, not the only one.
Speaker 6 (02:48:26):
What kind of work did you guys do?
Speaker 13 (02:48:29):
We're just office work, clerical work, data entry.
Speaker 6 (02:48:32):
How many toes did you suck in this office?
Speaker 4 (02:48:35):
It was three different people.
Speaker 6 (02:48:38):
And if you had to rank them, no, any nasty ones,
bad ones, No, no.
Speaker 14 (02:48:45):
All the toes are pretty like I'm like a toe
kind of.
Speaker 6 (02:48:48):
Where did the holiday toes ring? Is that like at
the top of the.
Speaker 4 (02:48:51):
List or they were at the top top three?
Speaker 5 (02:48:54):
When I mentioned this thing and brought it up, Shannon
sounded like she's actually made out with a coworker.
Speaker 7 (02:49:01):
I have never kissed a co worker at a party,
I don't think, but the one of our holiday parties,
somebody admitted that they had a crush on me for
this radio station and it was no, it was an
intern of ours, a female intern of ours. I said,
I was flattered, and no, no to was involved. I
(02:49:26):
was really flattered.
Speaker 6 (02:49:26):
Hold on Zach scott'sund with a Scott, are there?
Speaker 33 (02:49:30):
I am?
Speaker 25 (02:49:31):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 6 (02:49:31):
Yes, Scott? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (02:49:34):
Oh?
Speaker 30 (02:49:34):
Well, I work in HR, so I avoid all work
parties like.
Speaker 6 (02:49:40):
The plague really because why well, I've been.
Speaker 30 (02:49:45):
To a couple One time one of my employees punched
a bartender, so we had to.
Speaker 16 (02:49:53):
Let them go.
Speaker 13 (02:49:56):
One time.
Speaker 17 (02:49:56):
The next week I found out.
Speaker 2 (02:49:58):
Two co workers.
Speaker 16 (02:50:00):
Making cookies together and both were married, and.
Speaker 19 (02:50:05):
I don't need to know about them.
Speaker 12 (02:50:07):
That's HR.
Speaker 7 (02:50:07):
What kind of work do you do?
Speaker 16 (02:50:11):
I work for a distribution company.
Speaker 5 (02:50:15):
Okay, hey, I got to ask you this question about
HR stuff. I know that the sucking your coworkers toes
has got to be an HR violation. What about the
the female that came up to Shannon and said I
have a crush on you? Is that against HR policies?
Speaker 30 (02:50:33):
I would say as long as it wasn't persistent, and
it was the one time thing, then it would be okay.
Speaker 12 (02:50:40):
But Okay, First, I continued.
Speaker 7 (02:50:43):
I was not uncomfortable nor yees.
Speaker 5 (02:50:46):
So yeah, so if if you were uncomfortable with it
is when it would get to be a violation.
Speaker 6 (02:50:50):
What's up, Rachel?
Speaker 30 (02:50:51):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (02:50:52):
Hi?
Speaker 49 (02:50:54):
We had our Christmas party last Saturday, and our boss
bought Austriaks and I got drunk off rum and coke
course light and started showing my coworkers pictures of sex wings.
Speaker 14 (02:51:06):
Okay, and I just started working there a couple months ago.
Speaker 6 (02:51:09):
Oh my god, guess who's the new favorite?
Speaker 11 (02:51:10):
Right?
Speaker 10 (02:51:11):
How is it when you saw.
Speaker 43 (02:51:15):
I was off Monday and I saw them this morning,
some of them, and they were.
Speaker 4 (02:51:19):
Like, oh hey, oh jeez.
Speaker 3 (02:51:22):
They didn't.
Speaker 19 (02:51:24):
They were laughing.
Speaker 49 (02:51:25):
But I don't think they were laughing because it was funny.
Speaker 14 (02:51:27):
I think they're like, ha ha, what talking about.
Speaker 6 (02:51:30):
Guess guess what they're thinking about you. They're thinking, they're thinking,
this girl that was the quiet girl in the office
is no longer just a quiet girl in the office.
Speaker 13 (02:51:38):
Well, it's a preschool.
Speaker 4 (02:51:43):
You're a dirty girl.
Speaker 6 (02:51:46):
Oh jeez, the pre school.
Speaker 5 (02:51:49):
How is it that a preschool's Christmas party gets wild
like that? They now are doing sex wings and things.
Speaker 6 (02:51:55):
I'm not mad at it.
Speaker 5 (02:51:56):
All right, thank you for the call, Rachel, I appreciate it.
And uh and working haven't drop off, Josiah, exactly, all right,
We'll be right back.

Let's go up to the door. Let's do this.
Speaker 15 (02:53:19):
We're going to the back door, Jessica, because he never
uses his front door.
Speaker 23 (02:53:22):
Okay, Daniel, good morning. My name is Fianta.
Speaker 13 (02:53:30):

Speaker 5 (02:53:44):
I'm really happy to see your smiling face. I want
to just let you know, first and foremost, you're loved man.
There's a lot of people that that love what you're doing,

for Jackson and for Christian.
Speaker 4 (02:53:58):

Speaker 2 (02:53:58):
I appreciate it more than than they do.
Speaker 6 (02:54:00):
One of those people wrote us a letter, and I
want you to listen to this beautiful letter.
Speaker 33 (02:54:05):
Okay, okay, dear Mojo in the morning. My name is
Jessica Shefferley, and I'd like to nominate my amazing brother, Danielle,
for your breaking and entering Christmas lish. My brother is
thirty five years old and he's a single dad of
two incredible boys, twelve year old Christian and eight year
(02:54:26):
old Jackson.
Speaker 4 (02:54:29):
Mojo.
Speaker 33 (02:54:29):
He is struggling to make ends meets. Dingle's currently battling
brain and Rettel cancer, and because he's battling receiving treatments,
he's unable to work. If you can imagine, the financial
hardship he's experiencing is huge. Care impossible for him to
make ends meet. We are trying hard to keep his
(02:54:50):
stress level at a minimum and to keep the boys
happy during this difficult time. Dan is a truly deserving
human being, and I know it would mean the world
to him and the boys if you could help their
family this Christmas. To you, then Merry Christmas and God
bless you.
Speaker 17 (02:55:06):
That's cuss.
Speaker 6 (02:55:09):
Wow, what a nice letter, What a nice sister you have.
Speaker 7 (02:55:13):
What an incredible not only human being, but dad that

Speaker 15 (02:55:19):
Yeah, a little shocked right now.
Speaker 2 (02:55:22):
Yeah, I'm just blowing up. So I don't know I
was going to.
Speaker 24 (02:55:27):
Family.
Speaker 25 (02:55:27):
There's not like twenty of us in.
Speaker 6 (02:55:28):
This room right now.
Speaker 15 (02:55:29):
You bring it bringing in the gifts?
Speaker 6 (02:55:33):
Can I can?
Speaker 5 (02:55:33):
I ask Daniel real quick before we do anything, Daniel,
how are you feeling, buddy?
Speaker 6 (02:55:37):
How you How you doing this morning?
Speaker 4 (02:55:39):

Speaker 14 (02:55:51):

Speaker 4 (02:55:53):

Speaker 17 (02:55:58):
Yes?
Speaker 21 (02:55:59):
They are?
Speaker 2 (02:55:59):
I got one. And the sour woman upstairs too.
Speaker 5 (02:56:02):
Oh wow, getting ready for school. So yeah, So I
want to talk real quick about your kids, and I
want to have you tell us a story about them.
Speaker 6 (02:56:12):
Daniel.
Speaker 5 (02:56:12):
So, Jackson is eight years old. Jackson's your baby, right, yes,
tell us about Jackson.
Speaker 6 (02:56:20):
Jackson.
Speaker 2 (02:56:21):
You don't want to get me started on him. The
kid's incredible and he does everything that he's supposed to do.
Speaker 3 (02:56:27):
Man.
Speaker 6 (02:56:28):
Christian is twelve years old. Tell us about Christian.
Speaker 2 (02:56:32):
Yeah, he's about to be thirteen here the twentieth. So
it's kind of wild and how everything goes.
Speaker 15 (02:56:37):

Speaker 37 (02:56:39):
Yeah, there he is it.
Speaker 23 (02:56:40):

Speaker 4 (02:57:08):

their dad. I understand that.
Speaker 6 (02:57:23):
Jackson's up to Hi Jackson.
Speaker 34 (02:57:27):
Oh he's upstairs, Jackson upstairs right now?
Speaker 6 (02:57:30):
Let me let me go through this.
Speaker 15 (02:57:34):
I don't know, little home guard right now.
Speaker 13 (02:57:38):
Coming in?
Speaker 23 (02:57:39):
Are you excited?
Speaker 13 (02:57:40):
This is so cool?
Speaker 24 (02:57:41):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (02:57:41):
My lord, this is crazy. Daniel.
Speaker 5 (02:57:44):
I want to go through everything that we're going to
do for you guys, okay, because we're going to make
this holiday special. We don't want you worried about anything
other than getting healthy.
Speaker 6 (02:57:52):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (02:57:55):
So what we did is we did a whole bunch
of shopping and we made sure that your kids got
everything that's on their wish list, literally everything. And what
I mean that is we understand that Jackson, who's eight
years old, loves art, So we got an easel with watercolors,
clay markers, canvas, all the things that they will need.
(02:58:15):
Plus we understand he's a big soccer guy too, so
we got him everything he needs for soccer.
Speaker 6 (02:58:20):
Loves Legos and loves.
Speaker 5 (02:58:22):
Sonic, so we made sure that he got Sonic legos,
so much stuff, Sonic betting, a race car, remote control,
plus all the toys that he would want for Christmas,
and all the school supplies that he's going to need
for school too.
Speaker 7 (02:58:38):
And Christian. We know Christian, if you can hear me,
we know that you're a big Nintendo guy, so we
got to I don't want to spoil the surprise, but
we got you a brand new switch. It's in one
of those bags, all sorts of Fortnite stuff, Mario stuff,
Lion skier. You're huge Lions fan, and just like your brother,
you love soccer as well, So there are so many
(02:58:58):
gifts for the two of you.
Speaker 5 (02:59:00):
Eyes in there, Daniel, he's still waking up, Daniel. We
want to take care of a bunch of things for Daniel.
So one of the things we want to make sure
is that Daniel, we take care of a bunch of
things that you're going to need while you're recovering right
now and while you're fighting your battle, so we want
to make sure you got all your TV subscriptions. We
(02:59:22):
want to make sure that your bedroom is warm and cozy,
so we're going to get you all new stuff for
your bedroom. We also understand that you're a guy that
does love sports, and we understand that you love the
Detroit Lions, so we got you a bunch of Lions gear,
including a jersey, a hat, hoodie, as well as we
(02:59:44):
want to send you, Daniel, along with your two boys,
because there's nothing better than as a dad taking your
kids to a game. We're going to send you guys
to this weekend's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Speaker 4 (02:59:57):
Oh, Dan, are rolling on this one.
Speaker 7 (03:00:01):
Everything taken care of, some tickets to parking, to all
the things.
Speaker 6 (03:00:04):
We got you.
Speaker 16 (03:00:06):
Okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 17 (03:00:08):
This is crazy.
Speaker 15 (03:00:09):
Here's a rolling right now.
Speaker 7 (03:00:10):
But we actually just sound Jackson.
Speaker 15 (03:00:11):
Jackson's came down.
Speaker 6 (03:00:12):
What's up, Jackson?
Speaker 4 (03:00:14):
Hi?
Speaker 6 (03:00:15):
Hey, buddy, you love on your dad and you enjoy
all the Christmas gifts that we got for you.
Speaker 7 (03:00:20):
Okay, Okay, you.
Speaker 13 (03:00:23):
See all this stuff.
Speaker 15 (03:00:24):
Isn't that so cool? Jackson is the biggest smile on
his face right now, you guys all Stamiley coming in.
Still we're still bringing the more stuff, guys, We're still
got more.
Speaker 56 (03:00:40):
Game.
Speaker 5 (03:00:41):
I also want to mention that along with the Lions,
the Detroit Pistons have been giving every family and are
breaking it in Christmas wish tickets to go to a game,
so you guys will also go see the Pistons. But
most importantly than anything that we have financially, we want
to make sure that you Jackson and Chris and don't
worry about anything. Kroger is going to be providing you
(03:01:04):
with all the food that you're going to need for
the months to come, with hundreds of dollars in gift
cards to make sure that you have all the food
that you guys need, and also break breaking and entering.
Christmas Wish wants to write you a check, a check
that is big enough to be able to pay your
bills so that you don't have to worry about your
bills being paid.
Speaker 17 (03:01:23):
Okay right now?
Speaker 18 (03:01:25):
Much?
Speaker 32 (03:01:25):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 17 (03:01:28):
I don't feel good at them.
Speaker 21 (03:01:30):
It's amazing.
Speaker 15 (03:01:31):
It's a big soccer, but it's amazing.
Speaker 5 (03:01:33):
Yes, when we grant Christmas wishes for men, that's different
than granting for women. There's a lot of pride that
happens with guys. A lot of guys don't want to
show the emotion outwardly like some of the women do.
But I will see tell you, I'm watching this video.
I can see it on your face. I want you
to understand you got nothing to worry about. When Mojo
(03:01:54):
in the morning and are breaking entering Christmas wish comes
into play here. We want to take care of you
and your boys, and we want you just to focus
on your health and focus on loving those two guys.
Speaker 7 (03:02:05):
And have the merriest Christmas with them.
Speaker 6 (03:02:08):
Yes, definitely.
Speaker 3 (03:02:10):
Got a.
Speaker 6 (03:02:13):
Question I asked our listeners.
Speaker 5 (03:02:17):
When listeners ask us what can we do to help
a family, I ask you say a prayer for Daniel away.
Speaker 6 (03:02:25):
Come, thank you, Merry Christmas here, Thank you.
Speaker 2 (03:02:29):
I appreciate everything you did.
Speaker 23 (03:02:33):
Jax about Jackson.
Speaker 31 (03:02:34):
Cry right now, It's okay.
Speaker 16 (03:02:39):
We love you guys in the morning and just the
second date up date module in the morning.
Speaker 5 (03:02:44):
Hazel's getting ghosted. I love that name, Hazel. I love
your name and Hazel, what'd you guys do?
Speaker 43 (03:02:53):
Hey?
Speaker 13 (03:02:53):
Thank you so much?
Speaker 14 (03:02:55):
So me uh we we went on the state. We
just went to a bar and.
Speaker 6 (03:03:00):
How did you guys meet?
Speaker 4 (03:03:03):
We met on hinge.
Speaker 5 (03:03:04):
Okay, and now one date later, he's not calling you
back or he's not trying to plan another date.
Speaker 14 (03:03:12):
Yeah, it's kind of really weird. I thought we had
a really good time, but he just hasn't answered my text.
Speaker 6 (03:03:18):
How did you guys say goodbye to each other after
your date was over with?
Speaker 46 (03:03:23):
I mean it wasn't like a huge like makeout sessh
or anything like that.
Speaker 34 (03:03:29):
It was just kind of like a simple, like hug goodbye.
Speaker 14 (03:03:32):
I don't always kiss on the first date, so it
didn't seem weird to me, but it was just a
nice hug goodbye, and.
Speaker 46 (03:03:36):
Then we left and that was it.
Speaker 5 (03:03:38):
All right, Well, we're going to find out what's going
on Jason's on with us? Hazel say hi to Jason.
Speaker 17 (03:03:44):
Hi, a good morning.
Speaker 6 (03:03:50):
Jason. You sound like a nice guy. I'm sure that
you are. Hazel seemed to like you.
Speaker 5 (03:03:55):
We're just trying to figure out if we can match
you guys up for another date and do a second
date and we'll take care of it, or if there's
not going to be a second date.
Speaker 6 (03:04:05):
We wanted to kind of figure out why that was,
What's what's going on? Uh?
Speaker 14 (03:04:10):
I listen, it was it was a nice first date,
but I'm.
Speaker 17 (03:04:15):
Okay on a.
Speaker 6 (03:04:18):
What was it that made it that you don't want
to do another date? Are you just a busy guy or.
Speaker 30 (03:04:28):
It seems like she's a busy girl's Uh, there was
a weird There was a weird part. The date was fine,
it was nice, It was nice, but at a point
she starts showing me this list that she had like
ready on her.
Speaker 17 (03:04:48):
Phone of all the guys.
Speaker 30 (03:04:50):
That she's hooked up with before, and it's with like
details and charting, and it was just.
Speaker 17 (03:04:56):
A bit much.
Speaker 7 (03:04:58):
How did that come up? Why did that come up?
Speaker 3 (03:05:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 46 (03:05:04):
No, no, no, you're making it sound like I'm glad
you asked that. You're making it sound like I just
showed you out of the blue just because I wanted to,
or I thought.
Speaker 4 (03:05:11):
It was fun.
Speaker 46 (03:05:11):
You asked me, You straight up asked me how many
people I had been with before? So I didn't just
pull this out out of nowhere.
Speaker 6 (03:05:19):
So wait, so he asked you that, and what in Hazel,
what did you do? And he asked you that you
went to your phone and you actually.
Speaker 46 (03:05:28):
Well, he asked me how many people that I'd been with,
and I told him the number, and he seemed really
like blown away by that and was really upset, and
I was like, oh yeah, let me Like, I don't
know anybody that's asked me before, I just show them
this list.
Speaker 14 (03:05:44):
It's like me and my girlfriends do the same thing.
So I didn't think it was a huge deal. So
I pulled up my phone and I said, yeah, I
have a list of everybody that I keep on my phone,
and I.
Speaker 46 (03:05:53):
Showed him because he wanted to know like details about it.
After I told him the number, Are.
Speaker 6 (03:05:57):
You comfortable with sharing a number?
Speaker 33 (03:06:00):
Uh?
Speaker 25 (03:06:00):
Yeah, it's it's a fifteen, so that's I.
Speaker 10 (03:06:03):
Mean, are you off put by the number? Did you
think the list was weird?
Speaker 4 (03:06:07):
Because a little bit both.
Speaker 30 (03:06:10):
Honestly, the numbers a little high. The list also had
like I guess it's like details and.
Speaker 6 (03:06:17):
It was ready.
Speaker 17 (03:06:18):
It's like locations.
Speaker 9 (03:06:20):
To me, that's being a little bit responsible though, because
when it comes to partners and who knows if somebody
had something and then you know.
Speaker 7 (03:06:29):
I get that, but you're not sharing that with somebody
out that you're on a date, right, But he.
Speaker 46 (03:06:35):
Asked, right, no, exactly, He asked and I that's that's
exactly right.
Speaker 25 (03:06:39):
I keep it for those kind of.
Speaker 14 (03:06:41):
Medical purposes or incidents.
Speaker 46 (03:06:43):
If something happened, I can go back and say, Okay,
this happened on this date. Maybe it's this person I
should contact.
Speaker 6 (03:06:49):
That maybe too, Hazel, what's in what's in the specifics?
Speaker 46 (03:06:54):
Well, it's like, okay, it's it's like where it happened,
the person's name, their phone number, the date that it happened.
Speaker 25 (03:07:05):
I U Okay.
Speaker 14 (03:07:06):
When I was younger, I used to do like a
score on a lot of ten. So there's a couple
of those.
Speaker 6 (03:07:12):
How would you rank them score wise? What was the
score for?
Speaker 14 (03:07:16):
Just like how much I enjoyed it?
Speaker 4 (03:07:18):
Okay, but that was that was a while ago.
Speaker 46 (03:07:20):
That was like the first couple of people that I
was like, oh, let me do this, and then I
was like, that's a little imature.
Speaker 14 (03:07:25):
Let me let me stop doing that. But it's more
just like where it happened, what day it happened, and
what if we were on our second date, third date,
ten state whatever it is?
Speaker 5 (03:07:34):
Can I just throw this out there, Jason, I don't
think that. First off, it seems like fifteen is a
big number. I don't you know, think that that seems
very high. But also, she didn't like make out with
you on the first date. She talked about that when
she was talking to us where she said that she
doesn't do that on the first date. So this doesn't
sound like a girl that is out there, you know,
(03:07:54):
doing a bunch of crazy stuff.
Speaker 6 (03:07:57):
Yeah, she's she's not ho ho ho in around, you
know what. I I don't see anything wrong with dishonest now.
I think what she's doing is good. I actually think
that I would.
Speaker 7 (03:08:05):
Want to think that this conversation, though, should even happen
on a first date.
Speaker 6 (03:08:09):
How many people have been with No, Yeah, I don't.
So you say he shouldn't ask her.
Speaker 7 (03:08:16):
Even if he asked her, which obviously he did, Like
that would be my response. It's like, I don't, I
don't I want to get to know you. I don't like,
that's just not something I need.
Speaker 6 (03:08:27):
To know right away.
Speaker 5 (03:08:28):
I think though, that that's one of those questions in
conversation that could come up. It doesn't have to be
that you get specific, but hey.
Speaker 7 (03:08:34):
How I think Yeah, I mean, I don't know. I
just don't think that's a first date convo. I think
it's an important convo.
Speaker 6 (03:08:40):
To have you know at some point interesting Like I
always think that that's like an interesting topic in itself.
And I don't think you should ever judge a person
based on high or lower number.
Speaker 7 (03:08:52):
But I think the problem is you do.
Speaker 4 (03:08:55):
Like Wes.
Speaker 7 (03:08:56):
I've known him for how many years? I still don't
know his number, and I think that I would be
very put off if I did know his number, because
I know it's not good and if that was one of.
Speaker 6 (03:09:04):
The first would be good. Though, what do you mean
high or low?
Speaker 3 (03:09:08):
High?
Speaker 7 (03:09:08):
I think his number is high, and had that been
one of the first things that I found out about him,
I probably would have been.
Speaker 6 (03:09:13):
Like, yeah, not for me, you were You've always on
the show. Whenever the numbers have come up, You've always
been I will never share my.
Speaker 7 (03:09:20):
Number at all, and I don't think, to be fair,
my number is not too low and it's definitely not
too high. I think my number is pretty normal.
Speaker 5 (03:09:28):
You feel like that the number is a very personal
thing that you don't want to Yeah, yes, how soon
into a relationship would you share it?
Speaker 7 (03:09:36):
I mean we've never shared shared.
Speaker 10 (03:09:38):
Asked les and he just says o't.
Speaker 7 (03:09:40):
I've asked him multiple multiple times.
Speaker 6 (03:09:43):
Honestly, I will tell you this.
Speaker 5 (03:09:45):
I think that you know, most people would expect that
most guys numbers would be high numbers. Myself and a
lot of my friends, our numbers are not high. I mean,
I met Chelsea early in my life, but I got it.
But I also think that there are some girls that
look at you with a low number and think that
a low number is awkward. But Jeff, what'd you want
to say about Hazel and Jason here?
Speaker 17 (03:10:08):
Well, I just wanted to say that's a good girl
right there, because that's a low number.
Speaker 6 (03:10:11):
Yeah. Well, I mean, and no judging on people with
a higher number. But that is interesting that you would
actually be happy with a fifteen for a number.
Speaker 52 (03:10:20):
Well, I mean, in reality, do you numbers really matter
as long as a man or a woman takes care
of himself.
Speaker 7 (03:10:26):
Right, But that's exactly my point is we are all
we all just did it. We all judged low high. Yeah,
all right, Like it's just it is a natural thing.
Speaker 21 (03:10:35):
That we do.
Speaker 8 (03:10:36):
You want to blue out box and you want to
make sure that the six degrees of separation is particularly.
Speaker 6 (03:10:42):
Who's in the numbers.
Speaker 7 (03:10:43):
I'd be looking up names, and I think a more
important conversation and again I don't think it should happen
on a first date unless you're having sex on a
first date. Is like the disease. Conversation is an important conversation.
Whether you've had sex with one person or one hundred,
that's an important conversation to have.
Speaker 8 (03:11:00):
Oh, where the conversation can go on a first date
and if the vibe is the vibe, like maybe you
don't intend to even have sex on a first date,
but the vibe goes a certain way and that's what
ended up happens.
Speaker 5 (03:11:10):
The same thing can go for conversation. I like the conversation.
I just think it's interesting. Well, but I also like
the fact that she didn't have sex with him on
the first date.
Speaker 17 (03:11:19):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (03:11:20):
Yeah, what's up, Miranda, Hey guys, good morning, Good morning Miranda.
Speaker 4 (03:11:27):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 25 (03:11:28):
I kind of feel like sometimes and it might not
be the case right now in this situation, but.
Speaker 31 (03:11:33):
A lot of guys have time.
Speaker 41 (03:11:34):
Well, I don't feel like a lot of women ask
men that. I feel like men ask women more often,
and I don't know why. I again, like Shannon just
made a great point. Whether it's one or one hundred,
like the odd you know, that risk of whatever could
still be there. I feel like it was kind of
maybe just as to not necessarily to judge her, but
(03:11:56):
maybe like was looking for a hug up and it's like, oh, well,
that's too many people for me.
Speaker 2 (03:12:00):
I'm not gonna.
Speaker 6 (03:12:02):
I've got girlfriends that are single and the only number
they care about is four to oh one k. They
don't care about any others.
Speaker 5 (03:12:13):
But I also do think that in Hazel's case, I
think it's pretty cool that she actually saves a lot
of that stuff, and I think it's good for her
to make sure that she's doing it in a way
that makes her happy. And who gives a r ass
ass if she's even graydon or whatever. If I'm Jason,
I'm worried that I'm gonna be a bad grade. What's
(03:12:34):
going on?
Speaker 6 (03:12:35):
How you doing? Sam Hi?
Speaker 17 (03:12:38):
I want to say a couple of things.
Speaker 3 (03:12:40):
Yes, well one, and I hope you guys are doing well.
Speaker 4 (03:12:44):
Thank you.
Speaker 48 (03:12:45):
I mean, honestly, it sounds like you might be one
of those guys that no matter what the number is,
it's gonna bother you. And that's okay, but just don't ask.
Speaker 19 (03:12:57):
You know, you gotta go into a situation.
Speaker 48 (03:12:59):
Telling yourself that you don't want to know, because if
you find out, you might feel.
Speaker 12 (03:13:03):
Some type away and call it up.
Speaker 19 (03:13:05):
So don't ask is one and then and then two?
You know, I am really proud of Hazel for having it,
you know.
Speaker 48 (03:13:13):
Because Jason, the last thing you want is to be
with the girl who tells you, oh, I don't know
how many partners.
Speaker 3 (03:13:22):
That would.
Speaker 48 (03:13:24):
But yeah, exactly, or someone that lies about it. And
and but honestly, Jason, you know, the last thing I'll
say is I mean, I get it from where it's
to give you the benefit of the doubt. You know,
if if she's twenty, maybe to you think maybe you
you interpreted fifteen as like wow, okay, you know, high
(03:13:46):
school college, you know, you had a lot of partners
if she's younger, but especially if she's you know, older,
Like if you do get.
Speaker 5 (03:13:53):
Told the number, keep that in mind, you know, like, yeah,
it'll how old are you? Hazel twenty nine years old,
twent nine years old?
Speaker 6 (03:14:01):
Fifteen? I don't think that that seems like a huge number.
I really don't. I was on a day with a
girl on saw She said fifty fifty.
Speaker 4 (03:14:09):
Why don't you respond? So he was fifty one?
Speaker 7 (03:14:12):
Et God, I throw bar. They're high fiving in the studio.
You can't see unless you're watching.
Speaker 1 (03:14:26):
This as a whole, with a journey on the thirty
throw back frown second data for the Roses.
Speaker 4 (03:14:32):
This is Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 6 (03:14:34):
All right, That does it for today. Have a great one.
We will be back tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (03:14:38):
Morning.
Speaker 6 (03:14:39):
Wore the Roses tomorrow.
Speaker 30 (03:14:40):
By twenty plus years of idiocy, I'm still going In Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan, it's Mojo in the morning.
