I'm going, keV, you can't wear the hat.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Well, I'm going home and change. Are you are changing?

Speaker 14 (04:20):

wearing the shoes today? Because if unfortunately, I don't know
if you can wear those shoes because I think they
were going We're going to do our Christmas celebration at
the DAC today and they have such a strict dress
codes and I hate that.

Speaker 10 (04:38):
I hate dress codes. I actually almost changed our thing
at the last minute. I was going to call Jeremy
over at Townhouse and say let's just go to Townhouse.
No shut out to Jermy. But I think this will
be a good thing for us. I know I think
it would be. It will be good for us to
all get together.

Speaker 12 (04:53):
Let's get busy one night, you know what, I'm ordering
champagne I.

Speaker 17 (04:59):

looks like in the way I do.

Speaker 17 (05:28):

Speaker 11 (05:32):
I literally wore a full sweatsuit.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
That like fit perfectly with perfect girls.

Speaker 10 (05:39):
You know what this reminds me of, though, It reminds
me of when mom, and this is what my mom
would do, would take us to Sears or j C.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
Pennies for our.

Speaker 18 (05:46):
Pictures Montgomery Ward and we would have our Christmas clothing
on and we'd all be in our Chevy suburban because
we had six kids in our house, and we would
all be fighting, and by the time we got there,
our clothes were all mad stop.

Speaker 10 (06:00):
I think moms like, you know, where's that boat that
I had? Like a holiday bow tie? So owner where's
your bow tie? I forgot my boat tie?

Speaker 19 (06:09):
I loved.

Speaker 11 (06:09):
We would always go to Owen Mills, different mill, and
somebody always was in a bad mood that day and
wouldn't smile for the photo. So every year I love
looking at our Christmas photos over the years when we
were little, because someone always looks like they're being kidnapped.
Forced to take this family photo.

Speaker 3 (06:29):
I don't know, but I.

Speaker 17 (06:29):
Don't know where it was, but I was the face
of that business, the family photo one when you walked
in like.

Speaker 14 (06:40):
That.

Speaker 17 (06:40):
Well it was a cute photo. I was being an
absolute terror behind it. But they caught the.

Speaker 7 (06:45):
Right moment where it looks like I'm pushing off my hat.
Really cute. I'm actually screaming.

Speaker 20 (06:51):
Showed it.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
Yes, it's a good photo.

Speaker 10 (06:53):
I'll never forget taking the kids to a place and
the guy would use this. It was It almost kind
of made me thing of like a little Now nowadays,
it wouldn't go. He had this little thing that was
like a tickler or something like that he would tickle
the kids to get. It's like a thing that it
was like a thing that you would dust with and
I'm like, get that thing.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Out of my kids.

Speaker 4 (07:10):

Well or The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
All right, Shannon the Dirty on the thirty. What do
you got trend in?

Speaker 11 (13:17):
Well, Lizzo is finally speaking out about that lawsuit with
her backup dancers, the ones that accused her of all
sorts of harassment, including sexual harassment. She was chatting with
Keke Palmer on a podcast yesterday where she was talking
about this harassment lawsuit that was brought by three of
her former dancers, a lawsuit that accused Lizzo and her
touring company of all sorts of legal wrongdoing, and there

(13:41):
were like dozens and dozens of pages of very detailed allegations. She,
for the record, has always denied the claims.

Speaker 26 (13:49):
Twenty twenty three, they come with the lawsuit and it's
a bunch of different claims.

Speaker 11 (13:53):
About harassment assault.

Speaker 7 (13:56):
Were you surprised?

Speaker 26 (13:57):
Did you know about it beforehand, that it was coming
before we saw it hit the net or was it
a complete.

Speaker 5 (14:03):
Blind side situation. I was completely surprised. Really, I was
very deeply hurt because you know, these were three X dancers,
so they weren't on the tour. They didn't like finish
the tour out with us. But even regardless of that,
these were people that I gave opportunities to. These were
people that I liked them and appreciated them as dancers,

(14:27):
respected them as dancers. So I was like what, But
then I heard all the other things like sexual harassment,
and I was like, they're trying. Well, I don't know
what they're trying to do, but these are the types
of things that the media can turn into something that
it's not.

Speaker 11 (14:44):
Lizzoe said, see is learning from this experience moving forward.
It is one of my favorite Christmas movies to watch
at this time of year. Jim Carrey's version of How
the Grinch Stole Christmas classic Howlaver? Did you know that
the cast of that two thousands adaptation is kind of
sort of cursed. You hear this with different movies, and

(15:04):
that version of the Grinch is one of them, including
a tragic early death for Josh Ryan Evans, who played
Baby Grinch in the movie. He passed away two years
after the movie came out. Taylor Momson, who played the
adorable Cindy lu who she has dealt with severe depression
and substance abuse amid her stardom. If you watched gossip Girl,

(15:24):
you saw her on that show as well. Even Jim
Carrey has weathered some scandal after allegations surrounding the tragic
suicide of his on again, off again girlfriend at the time,
Christine Baranski, who starred as the Grinch's childhood crush, the
neighbor that had that light gun right that put up
all the Christmas lights. She has been forced to deal
with the grief of losing her husband since the movie debuted.

(15:45):
She always like a cursed like a cursed cast.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
Interesting.

Speaker 11 (15:50):
Yeah, wow, there's another movie that's supposed to be Why
am I not brain farting here? I can't remember. I'll
think of it and please. In New Jersey are searching
for two suspects after they were caught on camera stealing
a package off of somebody's port and then returning it
a couple of days later, after a video of them
twerking during the best was posted online. This is the

(16:10):
best story. So this resident's ring camera captured these two
individuals running up to their front door, and police said
one of the suspects grabbed the Amazon package containing some
baby items. It was valued at like seventy five bucks
from the port. The other suspect then ran up to
the front door and began taunting the resident on their
ring camera by twerking. Then they both started toworking, and

(16:33):
then both suspects ran away. Well the victim, the resident,
was like, nope, I'm going to let these guys have it,
so he posted the video on the Ring Neighbors app
to warn his neighbors, and then the video went viral.
It was posted everywhere. The news picked it up well.
In a turn of events, the two suspects returned to

(16:55):
this guy's home a couple of days later. They approached
the ring camera and one of them said, come on, dude.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
Not cool.

Speaker 11 (17:02):
Bro, that's my ass all over the internet because they
were bare, but not cool if you were like you idiots.
So they also brought back the Amazon package and said
we meant to give this back, put it on the steps,
and then ran away again.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Got to love it.

Speaker 10 (17:19):
It's always funny until someone loses an eye or until
somebody towards I'm telling you, I think nowadays you got
to just assume that you're all over camera anywhere, and
if you're bold enough to sit there and terk for it,
you're dumb enough to actually get yourself done. Hold on
a second, real quick, Maddie's got the answer to us.
And this is actually a very popular movie, the Cursed Movie.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
Maddie. Yeah, Hello, what was the Curse movie?

Speaker 11 (17:47):
Yeah, we were just talking about that too.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Yeah. Judy Garland and the rest of the cast.

Speaker 10 (17:51):
They said it was one of those things that everybody
got cursed with some bad stuff in their life afterwards.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Yeah. Hey, thanks, thanks Maddie. You win no prize for.

Speaker 11 (18:01):
This, but I appreciate you.

Speaker 10 (18:03):
Shout yourself out on the radio. Where are you from, Maddie?

Speaker 27 (18:07):
My name is Mary. I'm from Mason Heights and I'm
going to work at a princpool.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
Isn't that the greatest our Official movie Officionado.

Speaker 11 (18:17):
Go ahead, chap for all of today's ditty cats up
on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app ormodes in
the morning dot com.

Speaker 25 (18:26):
Directly for the source in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 10 (18:34):
Hey, before we do the five or six eighty five,
I know this is a huge time that a lot
of high school kids listen to us. If you are
listening to this radio show and you go to Lutheran North,
or you go to Cardinal Mooney High School, or you're
a fan of this radio show and you want to
help out a friend. I want you to listen up
for one second. Have you guys ever had a friend

(18:57):
of yours be seriously ill and completely keep it from
you and you did not know what was going on
for literally months. Yes, so we we have friends of ours.
He actually was Luke's favorite teacher that he had no
offense to any of the other teachers, but he was

(19:18):
a male teacher. So mister P was one of the
guys that Luke. All Luke wanted was mister P. And
you know how you wish for your teachers, like, this
was the guy he wanted to. He wanted him because
he's cool. He's the guy that played football with the kids.
He would do stuff with him. He's engaging, he was awesome.
He's the best, mister P. Bobby Patterson became then a
friend of ours. You know his wife Kelly and Chelsea

(19:41):
and myself and you know love that family so much.
They got beautiful young kids. He and I go back
and forth on text messages. We've been doing this for
you know, well over a year. With the Lions getting
all crazy. He keeps thinking that our show is screwing
up because we haven't come up with a theme song
for the Lions, like we need to have like he said,
everyampionship team has a song like Don't Stop Believing by

(20:03):
Journey is like, you know, one that teams have taken
in the past. Or he'll like pick like certain songs
like he said, you know, there's always got to be
some kind of so he'll always send me like songs randomly.
I just get like a bunch of music sent to me,
you know, basically from him. And I didn't find out
until literally three or four days ago that Bob is

(20:23):
battling cancer. And he kept it quiet from a lot
of people, and then he told some of the people
that he told about it to keep it quiet from others.
And so far since Bob has been more vocal about it.
And it's because of who we're going to talk to.

Speaker 3 (20:42):
Next.

Speaker 10 (20:43):
Coach Mike is on the phone with us right now.
He is the varsity basketball coach and he has been
for more than twenty how many years now at Cardinal Mooney.

Speaker 28 (20:52):
This is my twenty seventh season.

Speaker 10 (20:54):
Twenty seven season at Cardinal Mooney High School in Marine City.

Speaker 28 (20:59):
Right morning, Coach, that that is correct, Good morning, guys,
Thanks for having me on.

Speaker 10 (21:04):
This guy knows so many different people, like he's best friends,
you know, with Tommy Izzo and best friends with Greg Campy. I, well,
they love you, they they and best friends with Bobby Patterson.
So you had reached out to a couple of different
coaches just to talk to them and see if they
could give words of encouragement, including coach Lou Holtz, And

(21:25):
he had Coach Lou Holtz give him a video saying
to him, hey, you got this, Bob, And and then
it's spurred on to we're going to start telling people
that Bob's going through this and coach Bobby's been going
through this since June. He's a battler, he's a winner,
He's going to win this thing. And you're putting together

(21:45):
a fundraiser tonight. But before we give everybody the details
about that, will you tell everybody in the short few
days how much money has been raised on a GoFundMe
page for Bob Patterson.

Speaker 28 (21:59):
Yeah. So Bobby fought me on this obviously, as you
know Mojo, Bobby, you know, can be hardheaded at times.
But I got to the point with Kelly and Bobby
and I said, look, I'm just going to ask for
forgiveness instead of permission here. So we started to go
fund me on Tuesday afternoon and as of this morning,

(22:20):
between the go fundme and a few private donations, we
have raised over ninety three thousand dollars.

Speaker 10 (22:27):
So mister P, as Luke calls him, mister P, has
touched so many people, including my son, Luke, his friend's Landing,
and Evan. They've all personally donated money. They're probably college
beer drinking money to help out. To help out mister P,

(22:48):
who is a he's a school administrator over at Marris
Notre Dame PROP and his wife is the assistant principal
also at the middle school at Notre Dame. So they're
both on you know, school people salaries, and so we
want to try to make it possible that they don't
have to worry about taking time off from work to
be able to get healthy. But tonight you're doing something

(23:10):
at the Cardinal Mooney Lutheran North Game.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
What are you doing, coach?

Speaker 28 (23:16):
Yeah, So, Bobby, and it's important to me because Bobby and
I met here at Carda Mooney. We're both alumni of
Cardi Mooney. We've met here at fourteen years old in
nineteen eighty nine playing three sports together. When I found
out about this, I had this idea. He fought me
on and then I finally just ran with it. And
we're doing what we're calling balling for Bobby, which all
the proceeds tonight from T shirt sales or concessions our

(23:37):
gate are fifty to fifty All of that cash checks,
everything will be donated and taken home with Bobby and
Kelly tonight. So it is no doubt in my mind
that we will be well over one hundred thousand dollars
to our family by the time we're done tonight.

Speaker 10 (23:51):
That's incredible is you're you know what, first off, coach,
you are an excellent coach. You're a great mentor to
these kids. But you're even better. You're a great best
friend to Bob Patterson, to mister p Well.

Speaker 28 (24:04):
I appreciate that there's not a shadow of a doubt
in my mind that if the roles were reversed Bobby
Patterson would step up for me. Bobby has been there
for me my entire life. He has showed up in
my hardest times. He was there when my father passed
away for me three years ago. As a matter of fact,
you know how it is when you grew up in
the eighties and nineties, Like mister or Missus Patterson's house,

(24:27):
I walked in like I lived there, yea. And every
time he walked in my house, I think my parents
were more excited to see him than they were me. Yeah,
I think they loved him more than they loved me.
But it's just it's something that's important to me. You know.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
Friendship.

Speaker 28 (24:41):
You and I talked about this yesterday, Mojo. Friendship. As
you get older and life takes different courses, friendship isn't
measured in how many times you see or talk to
each other. It's measured on whether you show up or
not when you're needed. And that's all this is about,
is just showing up for Bobby. And it's a testament
to Bobby, not not anybody else. I'm just facilitating. The

(25:04):
amount of money raised is because of the incredible impact
he has had on so many people in both communities.
You know, Mojo, you and I talked about it yesterday.
The best way I can describe Bobby for people that
don't know him, whether you've spent five minutes with Bobby,
five hours with Bobby, or thirty five years with Bobby,
like myself, you feel better after every single interaction. Yeah,

(25:28):
and there very few people you come across that make
you feel that way about.

Speaker 10 (25:33):
He made listen, he made my child better, and he
made my family better. And you know, there's that famous
movie It's a Wonderful Life at the end when George
Bailey's brother Harry comes in and says to my you know,
big brother, George, the richest man in town, to Bobby Patterson,
the richest man in town. You are getting through this, saying,

(25:54):
and you know what, you are rich with love and friendship,
and I truly believe that will get at his immune
system better and the doctor's better, and Kelly and the
kids better. And so when they get through this saying,
you know, we'll look back on it and we'll have
a bigger celebration for for Bob Patterson.

Speaker 28 (26:12):
Yeah. And Kelly's been an absolute Kelly's a saint, right,
I mean she started her canonization process of becoming a
state by mirroring Bobby Packers.

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 28 (26:24):
Yeah, but through all of this she has been the
backbone for him.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
Sure. Yeah.

Speaker 10 (26:29):
He he loves his family and he loves his wife dearly.
And I will tell you this the power of prayer.
If our listeners can just say a prayer for Bobby Patterson,
I think that that works, Coach, go get him tonight.

Speaker 3 (26:40):
Lutheran North ain't no slouch.

Speaker 11 (26:42):
I have to say go Mustang. Sorry, that's where my
step kids go to school. But it's going to be
a great game and you're gonna raise a lot of money.

Speaker 28 (26:48):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 10 (26:48):
I'm not sorry, Coach. I think it's going to be
a fun game tonight. So everybody, Cardinal Mooney High School Tea. Yeah, yeah,
I love you, buddy. Take care of yourself is really really.
If anything good comes of this is that you and
I have gotten a chance to meet and we're all
always be friends.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
So we'll celebrate together. Talk to you, coach.

Speaker 28 (27:08):
I appreciate you.

Speaker 14 (27:08):
Guys.

Speaker 3 (27:09):
You're doing by Mary Chris.

Speaker 2 (27:11):

couple of days. But let's do it. Let's see what
happens here. We got Valerie from Temperance on the phone
with us right now. High Valerie, Good morning.

Speaker 12 (27:47):

play with Valerie first. That's how it was decided. Off
the air.

Speaker 10 (28:05):
Eric, I'm gonna lock you in a sound proof area.

will have a tie breaker question, which is a no
the show question.

Speaker 3 (28:12):

here we go.

Speaker 10 (28:22):

you have the answer, we'll call upon you. If you
get it right, we'll give you the win. If you

(32:22):
get it wrong, the other person gets a chance to steal.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Are we ready?

Speaker 10 (32:28):
Eddy's name is your buzzer, our mojo in the morning show,
breaking and entering Christmas wish will be granted in just moments,
which member of the show goes out and grants these
wishes for us?

Speaker 3 (32:42):

Speaker 10 (32:44):
Eric was the guy that screamed out first. Eric, Wow,
that was a Taiwan there. Nice job, my friend. You're
coming back in twenty twenty five. I hope you don't

(33:05):

Speaker 29 (33:08):

thousand dollars stub Hub gift card coming up this morning.

Speaker 10 (33:30):

Speaker 10 (33:36):
We're gonna set you up with a fifty dollars cash
card from Kroger. So enjoy that and thank you so
much for playing, guys.

Speaker 23 (33:44):
Oh go aheaving me. Merry Christmas.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Merry Christmas, guys, it was really nice to meet you.

Speaker 28 (33:47):
Guys.

Speaker 25 (33:48):
It's Module in the Morning's five is Sick fifty.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
Five five w On detroits to three Great Stations, one
stupid show, Mojo in the Morning. Lie.

Speaker 10 (34:08):
All right, guys, we're gonna grant a breaking and entering
Christmas wish this morning. KP is out on the streets
and this wish this morning is for a single dad
who's been faced with some hard times raising his kids.
You know, we hear so many stories about single moms,
and we also hear there are so many more single
dads these days, and these are people who are just

(34:28):
trying to make Christmas bright for their kids. And KP
good morning.

Speaker 20 (34:33):
Good morning.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
We ready to go.

Speaker 20 (34:36):
We are, we're outside, we're freezing our tails up, but
we're here.

Speaker 22 (34:40):
Kroger truck is here.

Speaker 20 (34:41):
We're all ready to go.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
I love it.

Speaker 10 (34:42):
By the way, thank you to Kroger because during the
breaking entering Christmas Wish time, they have loaded up all
of our wish recipients with all the food that they
will need for the holidays and then some. Kroger's been
a longtime partner of the mojo in the morning show
breaking and entering Christmas Wish and they never say no.

Speaker 3 (35:00):
It's unbelievable.

Speaker 10 (35:01):
And actually it's it's funny because we jokingly will go
to them sometimes going I don't think they're going to
I think they're tapped out.

Speaker 14 (35:08):
No.

Speaker 10 (35:09):
If it's for the community, Kroger cares, and the Kroger
does it for us, so they're awesome.

Speaker 22 (35:14):
Travis is here.

Speaker 27 (35:15):
He's been on a lot of our drops in the
past and including our Christmas in July.

Speaker 20 (35:19):
He's been amazing for us.

Speaker 10 (35:20):
Spec here's here again, all right, So is Emily there?
Is michael sister.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Emily? There she is, Emily. Hi, Emily, are you excited
for this one?

Speaker 20 (35:31):
I am.

Speaker 10 (35:32):
What a sweet guy. And by the way, what beautiful
children that Michael has. And he does it for the kids,
doesn't he?

Speaker 27 (35:38):
Absolutely?

Speaker 10 (35:39):
All right, let's do it. Lydia is going to dial up.
We'll see if we get him to answer the phone
this early. I'm sure it's got to be, you know,
tough to be getting a thirteen and an eight year
old ready for the day. But Mojo on the morning,
breaking and entering Christmas wish this morning, let's do it,
and let's get the tears flowing, get your get your

(36:00):
kleenex there, all right, stay right there, guys, mute your
phone real quick so he doesn't doesn't notice what's going
on when we pick this up.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
Mm hmmm. Waiting for lead you to see if we
get an answer.

Speaker 10 (36:17):
Mojo's wish dot org and of course all over our
social media you gotta ariculate no answer. Okay, why don't
we do this, KP, Let's walk up to the door,
true breaking an entering.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Let's do it. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (36:29):
I love it when we do it this way.

Speaker 10 (36:31):
KP has been hard knocking bro like swat. Seriously, she's
like the knuckles of an eighty year old man. I
want to see I want to see KP with one
of those battering rams. That's the Detroit Police Department. Like
going through the front door here and we'll do it

(36:55):
and we'll decorate it like a Christmas tree.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
All right.

Speaker 10 (36:57):
When you're up to the door, let me know, and
then just the door, introduce yourself, and then hand the
phone and say, hey, Mojo in the Morning wants to
talk to you guys.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
A little like that.

Speaker 20 (37:14):
It's okay.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
That was my dog a smaller way too.

Speaker 27 (37:24):
Hi, good morning.

Speaker 4 (37:26):
How are you.

Speaker 14 (37:28):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 20 (37:29):
Do you happen to know Mojo from Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 23 (37:31):
Yeah, well, he would like to talk to you.

Speaker 3 (37:36):
Hello, Michael, Hi, how are you, buddy?

Speaker 4 (37:40):
Not bad? How are you?

Speaker 3 (37:41):
We're doing good?

Speaker 16 (37:42):
Man.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
I gotta tell you.

Speaker 10 (37:43):
I just get a chance to see a picture of
you and your beautiful children. Your sister Emily wrote a
letter for our breaking entering Christmas wish, and I want
you to listen to how beautiful this letter was all
about you and what you.

Speaker 3 (38:02):
Ready? Michael?

Speaker 27 (38:04):
Yes, here you go, dear Mojo in the Morning. My
name is Emily and I'd like to nominate my brother
Michael for your breaking and entering Christmas.

Speaker 23 (38:12):
Wish this year.

Speaker 27 (38:14):
Michael is a devoted single father to two beautiful young girls, Brooklyn,
who will be thirteen on the twenty second of December,
and Bailey, who is eight. He works endless hours to
make ends meet, and still the obstacles keep piling on,
from a broken stove to a dryer that no longer works,
and recently, simply getting to work became a struggle when

(38:36):
he lost his vehicle. These circumstances have left him holding
on by the scenes. Financially, bills are piling up and
keeping up with rent has become nearly impossible, leaving Michael
and the girls at risk of being evicted. Mojo, this
family deserves to stay in their home and celebrate Christmas together.
Please help this family this holiday season. Sincerely, Emily and.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
Michael. Your sister loves you very much.

Speaker 20 (39:05):
Yeah and ill over her.

Speaker 3 (39:08):
Special man. That's special special to know.

Speaker 10 (39:10):
First off, you got family there, but it's also special
to know that we got a great guy here that
is raising two beautiful.

Speaker 11 (39:19):
Children and doing whatever it takes to make ends meet
and to make home home for them.

Speaker 20 (39:27):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
Michael, how old are you? Buddy six?

Speaker 10 (39:34):
You had a lot pour down you at thirty six
years old.

Speaker 20 (39:37):
Yeah, last five years has been pretty rough on me.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Man.

Speaker 10 (39:43):
You got beautiful children, though, I'm sure you look into
Brooklyn and into Bailey's eyes and say, we're doing it
for you. Guys, we're one family standing.

Speaker 28 (39:53):
There.

Speaker 4 (39:54):
Get up and go to work every day.

Speaker 20 (39:56):
We're going to start bringing in Yeah, well, do you
want to get better than.

Speaker 3 (40:04):
Michael?

Speaker 10 (40:05):
We got truckloads of stuff that we're going to bring in,
but most importantly.

Speaker 3 (40:09):
We're going to bring it. We're going to bring into you.

Speaker 10 (40:12):
A recognition that as a dad, nobody does it better
than you.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
My friend, what to say?

Speaker 10 (40:22):
Don't say anything, just say this is pretty damn cool.
I got KP and my sister here with a ton
of stuff, and we're going to make Christmas bright for you.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
Guys. Are the kids up and about.

Speaker 30 (40:35):
They are?

Speaker 28 (40:37):
They heard the dogs going off when you guys?

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Sorry, Michael, what kind of work do you do? What
do you do to earn money?

Speaker 20 (40:48):
I do construction, everything from small fixes to full remodels.

Speaker 3 (40:55):
And you do great work too.

Speaker 10 (40:57):
So if anybody's listening they need anything, this is the
guy that we want to make sure that you pour
your money into and try to help them out.

Speaker 12 (41:05):
Michael, tell us how cool it is to be a dad.
Tell us how much you love your girls.

Speaker 20 (41:10):
Oh, it changed my life.

Speaker 30 (41:13):
I'm a better person today because of them.

Speaker 3 (41:16):
Yeah, I bet man.

Speaker 10 (41:19):
There's nothing more fulfilling and more rewarding than seeing those
kids and seeing their eyes right now, look at them
looking at everything.

Speaker 11 (41:26):
That's I love it.

Speaker 10 (41:30):
Well, Michael, what were you going to do for Christmas
if this wish didn't get granted for you?

Speaker 28 (41:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 20 (41:38):
Honestly, I always pull it out of my.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
Rear end somehow.

Speaker 11 (41:45):
Well, guess what you do not have to think about
that or stressed about that this year, because as you
can see, and I mean this is tip of the iceberg,
we are taking care of all of it for you.

Speaker 31 (41:56):
Yeah, for a very So.

Speaker 10 (42:04):
I want you to know that Emily gave us details
about Bailey, the cute little voice that you just heard
in Brooklyn, and what she said was, this is all
the stuff that they wanted for Christmas.

Speaker 3 (42:17):
We got everything on their list.

Speaker 11 (42:18):
Everything we heard. Bailey is a wicked fan, We got
her everything. Wicked my girl, and Brooklyn is a Hello
kitty fan, so we got her everything, Hello Kitty.

Speaker 10 (42:28):
We also made sure that this is the big important stuff,
because I know that your biggest stress is just keeping
that roof over your head. Yeah, we wanted to make
sure that that roof, though underneath had things that you
can use because we heard how you were getting by
without all the appliances.

Speaker 11 (42:46):
That you can keep a dryer, yeah, drying your clothes.
So yeah, well we're taking care of that for you,
No more of that.

Speaker 10 (42:55):
We went out and got you a big fat gift
card from Low's so that you can go get yourself
that dryer. But also we're going to write you a check.
Make sure that this check is put in your account
so that you don't have stress of wondering how you're
going to be paying that rent. And then Kroger is
there with us right now. Kroger is going to fill

(43:15):
every single one of your cupboards with all the food
that you will need to feed those girls this Christmas
and beyond.

Speaker 28 (43:24):
That's awesome.

Speaker 20 (43:26):
I speak to us, so I really don't know what
to say.

Speaker 10 (43:29):
You're saying it all. The video of seeing you says
it all. I remember the day I became a dad.
I remember when Joe was born, and I know keV
and Shannon, you guys remember the days that Joe and
Lucy were born. When you first become a parent, you
don't realize that there is more to life, and it's
the most to life. When you saw Brooklyn for the

(43:52):
very first time, that had to be like one of
those moments that you go, this is surreal.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
There is definitely a guy when you see that, Yes, definitely.

Speaker 10 (44:04):
And now look at her thirteen years old and she's
running that house with.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
Buddy.

Speaker 10 (44:14):
You're loved man, You're you're a loving guy, but you
are loved. I want you to know that sometimes people
don't understand how love they are until a moment like
this happens.

Speaker 17 (44:22):
Actually by your sister Emily, look at her and tell
her you love her.

Speaker 20 (44:27):
Oh I do love my sister.

Speaker 4 (44:28):
She knows it.

Speaker 11 (44:29):
Yeah, this is if you're watching on Facebook. By the way,
is this the most perfect moment that we're talking to him?
The girls are there, it's just starting to snow, and
we're bringing in all of these amazing gifts, I mean,
just the topper of toppers to this breaking and entering
Christmas season.

Speaker 10 (44:45):
And I was getting ready to go to work, but
we'll call for you and tell them that you're going
to be just a tad lad.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
Merry Christmas, my friend. Oh good, KP shouted out.

(48:40):
six sixty five six five four eight.

Speaker 2 (48:43):
Mojo In the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 10 (48:45):
We'll look for the ninety fifth collar for the last
qualifier for the trip to Miami. Eight four four sixty
six five six five four eight eight four four Mojo.
We do have a chance for you to go see
the Wings play. We got Wings tickets and we've got
eight thousand dollars stub Hub gift card that we're given
away so that you can go and make a purchase

(49:06):
of tickets to go see the Lions take on the
Minnesota Vikings and job So both of those are coming
up here right now. Shannon's going to do the dirty
on the thirty. What's up Shannon?

Speaker 11 (49:14):
Well, eminem, have you guys seen this making an appearance
in that super Not Safe for Work promo for his
buddy Snoop Doggs Dow album called Missionary, the title very
much a callback to Snoops nineteen ninety three debut album
Doggie Style. You're part of it?

Speaker 14 (49:29):
Thank you?

Speaker 33 (49:29):
As like I am.

Speaker 11 (49:37):
That's my fault.

Speaker 12 (49:38):
I should have reviewed it, Zach.

Speaker 3 (49:45):
You know what the problem is with Zach. Zax's been
hanging out with Kevin.

Speaker 12 (49:49):
So Zax's been hanging out with Kevin, and sometimes when
you hang out with Kevin, things like that happens.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
I think it's time to take it back to the basis.
Who wants to suck? All right? That's good, don't.

Speaker 11 (50:03):
You can just talk about its?

Speaker 4 (50:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (50:09):
By the way, that is definitely not safe for work.
It's not safe for anything. Honestly, I don't understand. I
don't know what this story is. But whenever you hear
somebody talking about stuff like that, like you hear another
person talking about it, I always feel like, oh boy,
this is kind. I don't know if I want to
hear Eminem talking about that, I don't know. You know,
I'll thought, all right, thank you.

Speaker 11 (50:31):
Zach saw a tweet last night on X that says wow.
Lions David Montgomery has avoided a season ending knee injury
and will rehab instead with the hopes of returning to
the team during the playoffs. That is perhaps she that

(50:52):
is freaking incredible, hopefully hopefully fingers crossed.

Speaker 10 (50:57):
So he he told the team, he said, I do
not want you to put me on the I you know, injured.

Speaker 3 (51:04):
What is it?

Speaker 11 (51:06):
He got three different opinions for what to do here.

Speaker 3 (51:09):
And I think it's great.

Speaker 10 (51:11):
Yeah, by the way, did you did you get a
chance to see there's it was going around yesterday? It
was Aaron Glenn basically talking about the players and how
and he's the defensive coordinator talking about all the guys
that have gone down, and he's like, Detroit fans, you
gotta understand. We know what we're doing as coaches, but
our team knows what we're doing. We've got guys here,

(51:32):
We've got guys that have been on practice squads. We've
been signing guys and they're signing, by the ways, have
been great. He's like, have faith in us, and don't
think that one loss against Buffalo, which is a great team,
is going to ruin our entire season. We're still eleven
and two, for God's sakes. It's the right attitude to have.
Are they eleven and two? Or twelve and two, twelve
and two, yeah, yeah, but that's we got tickets for

(51:55):
that Vikings game, and that Vikings game is going to
be the tell all because who would have thought that
between the Vikings, Green Bay and Detroit, we've got the
best of the best right there in the Midwest.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
I don't like that though, I'd rather have it just up. Yes,
that's true.

Speaker 11 (52:11):
Do you guys know that Home Alone starred Daniel Stern
aka Marv so like one of the two Wet Bandits,
has revealed his new career after leaving Hollywood. It's so good.

Speaker 7 (52:21):
It's so good.

Speaker 11 (52:22):
It's just not what you would think. He lives on
a farm and he works as a cattle rancher and
grows tangerines, and he also has a hobby of being
a sculptor.

Speaker 7 (52:34):
Did you see the sculpture he was working on.

Speaker 18 (52:37):
It's incredible gross tangerines was a wet and then sticky
bane and then now he's a farmer.

Speaker 10 (52:46):
He's been doing appearance as I saw him doing well
with Buster from Q one O six and uh Q
one O two in Philadelphia who used to work with
our radio station, and they did a whole Home Alone,
like you know, reunion type thing and I.

Speaker 11 (52:59):
Thought he's Colley Culkin was just in town week Do they.

Speaker 10 (53:02):
Is that where they make their money, Like these people
that are in these movies, they make it during the seasons, Yes.

Speaker 11 (53:07):
For sure, Like Jay Towers was just with the two
Beliefs from a Christmas story over the weekend doing like
a movie thing.

Speaker 10 (53:14):
Is it like a big deal? Like I know, like
that movie to me means a lot. You know, it's
been thirty years out and it's like it's like you
have to watch Home Alone or Home Alone two at
Christmas time?

Speaker 3 (53:24):
Three or three?

Speaker 34 (53:28):
Good?

Speaker 3 (53:29):
Not good as a stretch.

Speaker 11 (53:31):
I like it.

Speaker 10 (53:31):
Well, what it cost me to hire the kid who
didn't look like mccauleay Culkin that was in Home Alone?

Speaker 11 (53:37):
He wasn't supposed to be Kevin McCain. You know what,
he is a totally different family.

Speaker 12 (53:40):
He hasn't entirely because I did some research after you
brought it up the other day. It's like, what is
this kid Alex Lynn's doing.

Speaker 11 (53:46):
On a kid movie?

Speaker 12 (53:46):
He's a professor now is a Yes, he's given his
life over to education. Can't poo.

Speaker 11 (53:54):
And lastly, one woman says she wants to ditch her
family's holiday gathering after they set it now Rage's price
tag for secret Sannah her this year, her family decided
to raise the price limit to two hundred and fifty
dollars per gift for secrets.

Speaker 3 (54:08):
Anna, Yeah, that's.

Speaker 11 (54:09):
Insanity, she said. She was shocked, and she's like, I
get that inflation in his hit, but that is a
lot of money for one gift, especially for something that's
supposed to be fun and kind of quirky. And she
just said, I don't have the budget this year. But
now she feels isolated from both the tradition and her family.
Her mom thinks she's being petty. Her dad said she's overreacting.

(54:32):
It's not about the price, it's about the spirit of Christmas.
The majority of her large family, twenty four people, agreed
to that two hundred and fifty dollars per gift limit.
So I'm asking you what are your thoughts on this?
What should be the limit for a family secret Sannah?

Speaker 10 (54:47):
Well, I mean, it's a lot of money, but it
all depends. I think it all depends on, you know, where,
what everybody's doing and financially. But I also think that
you can find great gifts for less than that. And
I think that the gift is in the creation activity
of who.

Speaker 11 (55:00):
Comes up with I'm doing a secret sean of this year.
I do it with the same group every year. It's
like white elephant whatever, and it's twenty bucks.

Speaker 3 (55:06):
I'm with that, right.

Speaker 12 (55:07):
I'm as mad because it has to deal with family.
Feels like a family that's still a lot. Yeah, and
you better hit you two fifty fifty given you come
in with a thirty dollars.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
Yah.

Speaker 11 (55:22):
I want lottery tickets to round it out exactly.

Speaker 3 (55:27):
I hate lottery tickets.

Speaker 11 (55:28):
I love a lottery tickets.

Speaker 3 (55:30):
Lottery tickets.

Speaker 10 (55:31):
All it is, I feel like is we're giving the
money to the state and I'm not making anything off
of the whole deal because I never win any.

Speaker 3 (55:36):
Money on it.

Speaker 17 (55:38):
Depending on how big of the family is, though, you
could be saving money. I have five siblings, I could
spend two hundred and fifty instead of a whole bunch
of true.

Speaker 12 (55:46):
So do you not get everybody else gifts? You only
get a gift for the persons who they Yeah, that's.

Speaker 7 (55:51):
It, I'm gonna do that. Each kid gets one sibling.

Speaker 11 (55:56):
Okay, okay. For all of today's dirty catch up on
the podcast on the free radio app em in the morning.

Speaker 2 (56:01):
You get more Mojo in the Morning dot com. Mojo
in the Morning's dirty. I'm a thirty.

Speaker 36 (58:12):
All I think about, man, That's all I have to
think about is you guys, and how I seck you
up for the past possible advantage I can give you

Speaker 3 (58:20):

those tickets coming up in less than let's say, less
than an hour.

Speaker 3 (58:36):
We'll do it in less than an hour.

Speaker 10 (58:37):
An opportunity for you to win, and it involves a
contest that deals with injuries. So we'll tell that's all.
I'll give you for a clue. All right, it's Mojo
in the morning. Do you guys remember yesterday when we
ended up getting the phone call. We were in the
midst of a topic and what was the topic we were
talking about at the time. I remember we were when Tanya.

Speaker 3 (59:02):
You remember what was it? Do you remember it was
yes yesterday? Why am I?

Speaker 11 (59:07):
I'm looking at my show sheet from yesterday to try.

Speaker 10 (59:09):
It was right, the pea bottle. The pea bottle, that's right.
I totally forgot that. So we're in we're in the
middle of the topic where we were talking about Josiah
and the pea bottle, and then we ended up getting
a phone call from a listener by the name of Tanya.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
I got a question for you, mont Joe.

Speaker 20 (59:26):
I've been trying to reach the staff.

Speaker 2 (59:28):
There for about two years now.

Speaker 14 (59:30):
Me and my kids have been homeless, so I lost
my home.

Speaker 4 (59:33):
My vehicle and everything.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
We've been sleeping in my vehicle.

Speaker 20 (59:36):
I had a lady from the Presbyterian Church downtown seeing
you guys letters.

Speaker 4 (59:40):
But it's been so much tragedy going on with other people.
I just felt like my problem wasn't that being being
homeless and you know, sleeping in my car.

Speaker 2 (59:47):
It's people darning out here.

Speaker 10 (59:49):
But if somebody could Tanya real quick, just stop right there?

Speaker 2 (59:53):
Where are you?

Speaker 3 (59:54):
Where are you right now?

Speaker 37 (59:56):
I'm in Clements right now, I'm me and.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
My family homeless, Lydia.

Speaker 10 (01:00:01):
Let's write her a check for breaking entering Christmas wish.
Let's get her and get her somewhere to stay. Okay, Tanya,
Tanya can you can you? Do you have the ability?
Do you have the ability to? I mean I don't
know where?

Speaker 3 (01:00:15):
What do you? What are your What were your plans today?
What are you doing today?

Speaker 20 (01:00:18):
I had no plans today.

Speaker 22 (01:00:20):
My transmission went out on my car.

Speaker 14 (01:00:21):
We're just we're just messed up.

Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
This year, lost to everything that I only meet and
my kids.

Speaker 14 (01:00:26):
I lost every.

Speaker 3 (01:00:29):
Lydia.

Speaker 10 (01:00:29):
How far is Mount Clements from? Because I'm going to
give Lydia a ride home today because she doesn't have
a car today. What do you how far is Mount
Clements from? Macomb it's not that far.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Tanya. Lydia and I personally are gonna are going to
drop a check off to you today.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (01:00:44):
Tanya.

Speaker 10 (01:00:45):
Stay there, Lydia is going to get get information from
you so that we can we can meet up with you,
and we're going to make sure this Christmas that you're
having a roof over your head.

Speaker 3 (01:00:53):
Okay, thank you so much. All right, hold on, okay.

Speaker 20 (01:00:58):
Because we have not.

Speaker 14 (01:01:02):
Gotten up.

Speaker 3 (01:01:03):
All Right, we're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna take care
of you.

Speaker 10 (01:01:05):
Okay, we love it, Tanya, We love you.

Speaker 3 (01:01:09):
Hold on one second.

Speaker 4 (01:01:12):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
That was Tanya.

Speaker 10 (01:01:14):
We went to uh go meet up with her, and
we went and met her out in Mount Clement's uh
right by a park out there, and uh. Actually one
of the funniest things was we call her and we
we uh didn't know where she was because there was
a bunch of cars that were all sitting around and
uh and she goes, are you that black car that

(01:01:35):
just went by? And I'm like, yeah, he's pull around.
So we turn around, go back, pull up. There's Tanya
standing there, beautiful red hair, and we've parked the car
and within five seconds she jumps in that back of
that thing, like I was her freaking uber. She scared
the crap out of Lydia. Lydia versus like e Mojo's
getting out of the car. Oh, no, you're in the car.

Speaker 3 (01:01:56):
Tanya's in the car. Tanya's in the back. And what
did you say? Tanya?

Speaker 10 (01:02:00):
You said, I'm anemac, I'm cold. I need to get
in here right now. What's up?

Speaker 3 (01:02:05):
Tanya?

Speaker 30 (01:02:08):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
Hi, Mojoe.

Speaker 20 (01:02:11):
I just wanted to let everybody notice listening that that
was amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:02:16):
You like a celebrity to me.

Speaker 20 (01:02:17):
I've been listening to you because I have sons, and
I remember when you told me your son.

Speaker 4 (01:02:22):
Came out and you were so accepted, and people.

Speaker 20 (01:02:24):
Are committing suicide because their parents won't accept from it.
And I got five sons. I lost everything, but what
you did for me to help me wash clothes and
at least get some blankets and stuff. You know, I
don't have a car. I lost everything. You know, you
are just amazing. I don't know who you are, sir.

(01:02:45):
You are better than that radio station and call to
share his life like that, Lydia, and I love sharning
little stuff, little self beautiful.

Speaker 11 (01:02:57):
I like you until you just called called me out.

Speaker 20 (01:03:01):
She went through a whole divorce like a soldier. You
guys have gotten me through every night that I had
to watch her for no speedway.

Speaker 4 (01:03:09):
Guess this.

Speaker 20 (01:03:09):
I swear to God, I'm not lying. I told my
kids I got it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:13):
I got to get on the morning.

Speaker 20 (01:03:15):
And your phone scales with spike.

Speaker 4 (01:03:19):
Yeah, it's amazing.

Speaker 20 (01:03:20):
It's just amazing and mad.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
Tying.

Speaker 12 (01:03:27):
So I feel like sometimes in life, when we go
through things and there's an explanation, it can kind of
make things easier because we know why we're going through it.
But then there are times in life where there are
no explanations and it makes it that much hard there.
But the fact that you may or may not have
an explanation isn't what matters. What matters is the fact
that you keep going and you have those boys and

(01:03:49):
you haven't given up. And the reason why you haven't
given up is because there's more life that you're supposed
to live. And just what happened yesterday, the fact that
you called in, the fact that modren Lydia pulled up,
it's just the light that shows that your light isn't
out yet. It may be dim, but that flame is
still burning. Inside of you, and it's people out here
who love you, who are here for you.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
And God ain't forgot.

Speaker 20 (01:04:10):
About you to take time about his day.

Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
No, no, no, that that.

Speaker 20 (01:04:18):
Is its way on the biggest place. Two times are
absolutely I don't understand Tanya going the radio every day
and you got your whole problems at home, like camp
breaking up with that lady.

Speaker 10 (01:04:32):
And he got the baby here, Tanya's like telling our
life story all in one are right now, Tanya, real quick, Tanya, Tanya.
I want you to know, twenty twenty five is the
year of Tanya, and I want you to know that
good things are gonna happen. You're gonna go from being
in your car to being in a home and that's
gonna be happening. And we're gonna keep in touch with

(01:04:53):
you to make sure that that happens. And we love you,
love you, love you, and you got our numbers and
you know that anything that you need, we're there for you.
But I want you to know that Christmas is next
week in the spirit of the season, and that light
that Kevin was talking about is what you got in
your heart. I saw it yesterday and I felt it
when you gave me a hug, and I'm.

Speaker 20 (01:05:15):
Telling people anybody to donate to me and my family
this year. I promise you, if I ever get on
my feet, I'm going to do the.

Speaker 3 (01:05:23):
Same when exactly.

Speaker 10 (01:05:28):
Exactly and people are so and we will be in touch. Okay,
we love you, Tanya.

Speaker 20 (01:05:34):
Mo Joe, thank you so much. I cannot believe that
you actually came out to me as a personal person.
You sent a celebrity. You can't Lydia, can't it but
stand it.

Speaker 3 (01:05:45):
And they're all my girls, all of them.

Speaker 20 (01:05:48):
You you guys are so amazed, Like I don't know
who you are. You think that you're just radio personality.

Speaker 10 (01:05:56):
But can we hire Tanya to be our hype woman?
Get her her job is gonna be our hyphone Tanya.
I want you to hang on for one second. I
get somebody special that's on the phone line right now
wants to wish you a merry Christmas. And we're going
to look out for you. Okay. I want you to
say hello to somebody on the phone with us. Is
the governor of our great state. Governor Gretchen Whitmer is
on the phone with us, calling in listening to this.

Speaker 20 (01:06:18):
She's so beautiful.

Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
Governor Whitmer, say hi to Tanya.

Speaker 6 (01:06:26):
Good morning, Tanya.

Speaker 16 (01:06:27):
I've been listening to you and just so incredibly moved
and grateful for people like Mojo Too and the whole
program and all the good stuff they're doing in the community.
I'm wishing you a married Christmas, Tanya, and I'm thinking
about you and your family.

Speaker 3 (01:06:46):
She's a sweetie, Governor.

Speaker 10 (01:06:48):
Can I tell you something about her, just to give
you just a little backstory.

Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
On this on this beautiful woman.

Speaker 10 (01:06:53):
This be this beautiful woman called us up yesterday morning,
and she called us up and you know, she had
sent in a letter to Actually she didn't. It was
somebody that that from her church that did. And we
went out to go visit her yesterday. And when she
came up to us and we said to her hair,
we want to make sure that you have Christmas, she

(01:07:14):
wasn't worried about herself. She was more worried about us
and making sure that we weren't taking time out of
our day for her. And here's a woman that's living
in her car. So we love her and we have
a we have a great state. We got a great
group of people that listen to this radio show. And
Tanya We're there for you.

Speaker 11 (01:07:29):
Okay, we love you. Marry Marry Christmas, Christmas.

Speaker 2 (01:07:33):
Marry Christmas.

Speaker 20 (01:07:35):
Much overwhelmed right now. I'm sorry. I'm such a crap baby. No, no,
I don't have any daughters. But I'm such a crop baby.

Speaker 4 (01:07:43):
I know, But what about me?

Speaker 20 (01:07:45):
I'm never going to give up because I know the
Lord is real and I'm never going to give up.
Never never ever tell you just so people don't have
a car to sleeping. It's no people. People wake up
and the hopsters and everything. So I don't mutch her.
It's not as great as everybody else. It's not a
ball me.

Speaker 10 (01:08:03):
Hold on, were you gonna say, Lydia? What were you say, Lydia?
Were you popping on there for a second? Oh, I
didn't hear it. I thought it was what you want
to say.

Speaker 17 (01:08:11):
Well, she said she didn't have any daughters. I don't
know if you know the Tanya. I've been looking for
a mom from seventeen years now.

Speaker 7 (01:08:15):
So you can take me.

Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Man, what do you think about that? Tanya? Would you?

Speaker 20 (01:08:19):
Megan? You know I love you to pieces you so
real and you know insists you know you guys share
your life stories and people don't get to understand. Yes
you're on the radio, yes your radio personalities, but you
have your own personal life. You have to do what
you have to come on the radio and act like
everything's okay, but you have life stories too, And I
just hope that everything is well in your family's and

(01:08:42):
very Christmas to you guys, and seybody to help it
donate to me and my kids. God bless you, and
I promise you I'm going to give back.

Speaker 10 (01:08:49):
I know you will, and I know that we love you.
Tanya Governor Whitmer. I love you for calling in and uh,
Merry Christmas to you.

Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
Are you you? Uh you're doing well? Everything is good?

Speaker 20 (01:09:01):
Yeah, you know that's like that's what it's all about.

Speaker 31 (01:09:04):
Thank you guys, and congratulations on twenty years of granting
whish is the community with your Christmas wish programming. It's
really something special and so important. And thank you for
giving me a little inspiration this holiday season that that
was so powerful.

Speaker 10 (01:09:22):
It's it's amazing, you know, we we do take for
granted sometimes, you know, things when we get upset by
finding a parking spot at a store or in a mall,
and when you realize that there are those that are
going through an illness or going through a financial struggle.

Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
It makes you more aware.

Speaker 10 (01:09:41):
And that's why, Governor, when we started the breaking Entering
Christmas wish, honestly, we did it because throughout the year
we were a bunch of misfits that got in.

Speaker 3 (01:09:49):
Trouble by our bosses and we wanted to look good.

Speaker 10 (01:09:52):
But then it turned out to be something that kind
of you know, I morphed into like, hey, you know what,
we're going to help out our fellow listeners and you know,
ever know who they are and sometimes you're working with
them on a daily basis and you don't know.

Speaker 6 (01:10:04):
So that's right, you know, I think that's that's we
think about what Tanya just said.

Speaker 20 (01:10:10):
That was so powerful.

Speaker 31 (01:10:11):
She's but you know, at least I have a car
to sleep and some people don't have that. It's an
incredible perspective. But you know, that's why we've got to
do more to help people who are struggling. You know,
we we've got a lot of we've got a lot done,
but we've got a lot more to do, and and
that will center everything I focus on this. I'll be
thinking about that conversation.

Speaker 3 (01:10:33):
Yeah, thank you, Governor, appreciate that governor, What are we in?
How many more?

Speaker 27 (01:10:37):
How?

Speaker 3 (01:10:37):
What is it?

Speaker 10 (01:10:38):
This has coming to the end? Well, first off, I
got to tell you something. I'm thinking that there is
a is it or there a Washington, d C? Future
for you? Because everybody keeps talking about about that.

Speaker 3 (01:10:48):
Now.

Speaker 6 (01:10:50):
Yeah, well, my family and I are not talking about that,
do you talk. I love Michigan.

Speaker 31 (01:10:57):
I don't imagine I'll.

Speaker 20 (01:10:58):
Ever leave Michigan. You know bus state in the world.
Oh yeah, I love this place.

Speaker 6 (01:11:02):
And you know, I don't know what comes next, but
I'm I'm just starting the fourth quarter, and anyone who's
a Liance fan knows there's a lot like.

Speaker 10 (01:11:09):
A half Yeah, well, and that is that is kind
of an interesting thing because as you have seen with
you know, past administrations, usually it's the last year or
two of your being the governor because of the term
limits and stuff, where you're able to try to get
some things done. And are there a couple of things

(01:11:29):
that you want to get done before the end of
this thing?

Speaker 6 (01:11:32):
Yeah, you know, I've already had some some good conversations
with the legislator leaders about you know, moving forward.

Speaker 31 (01:11:39):
Making sure we stay competitive and doing some more.

Speaker 6 (01:11:42):
In terms of fixing roads and infrastructure that every one
of us relies on.

Speaker 20 (01:11:47):
So I think we can get I think.

Speaker 6 (01:11:49):
We're up to the task and make this a very
productive term ahead, and I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 10 (01:11:53):
All Right, what do you what are you thinking? You know,
we're now in Detroit, so our studios all moved. iHeart
moved our studios from Farming and Hills to Eastern Market
now is where we're broadcasting, and being in Detroit has
been really eye opening for me being on the air
here for twenty five years that we broadcasted from the suburbs,
which I always thought was a weird thing, but obviously
the resurgence of the city has helped with that. What

(01:12:16):
are your thoughts on what happened over the last couple
of weeks with the mayor deciding he's going to run
for governor and he's going to do that as an independent.
Have you had any conversations with him about that?

Speaker 14 (01:12:28):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:12:28):
Yeah, he gave me a heads up before it became public.

Speaker 31 (01:12:31):
You know, Mike and I are friends.

Speaker 6 (01:12:33):
I've got a lot of friends who are either going
to thinking about or are getting ready to.

Speaker 31 (01:12:38):
Run for governor, and they're all going to have to,
you know.

Speaker 6 (01:12:41):
Make their cases with the Michigan public, and I'm not
going to get involved in I'm just going to stay
focused on two years of trying to get as much
done as I can, and.

Speaker 31 (01:12:49):
Then I'll hand it over to whomever wins the governor's
race in twenty twenty.

Speaker 17 (01:12:52):
That's got to be super hard, though, to like have
friends that are all saying, hey, I'm vuying for the position.

Speaker 3 (01:12:57):
What are you think?

Speaker 10 (01:12:57):
And you're like, h, I've had that radio where guys
wanted to move up to other positions and stuff like that. Yeah,
but you almost have to at one point say, Okay,
I got to take a stand. But I think if
you do that, will you say keV for governor? Because
I think keV? What do you think, keV?

Speaker 3 (01:13:12):
Would you think? I think keV knows Michigan is like
the perfect slogan. I love it.

Speaker 6 (01:13:17):
Yeah, Kevin. One of my dogs is named after you,
so you know I am.

Speaker 3 (01:13:22):
I'm already winning.

Speaker 11 (01:13:23):
Yeah, it's a really funny dog name.

Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
Real que big Graades. What do you want for Christmas?

Speaker 12 (01:13:28):
And if your husband, you know, doctor Marcus still listening
and he hasn't got the gift yet and he needs
some inspiration. What do you want for Christmas, peace and quiet.

Speaker 3 (01:13:41):
Not a lot of that going around these That is
a great one, Governor Whitmer. Great to have you on
the show. Appreciate you.

Speaker 6 (01:13:49):
Merry Christmas, Christmas, Happy New Year. See you in twenty
twenty five.

Speaker 10 (01:13:55):
Thank you and thank you for checking in here. And
Tanya and Sidon you're gonna give a call in and
talk to her. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 3 (01:14:04):
Qui Detroit, Dots, Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning. Mojo.

Speaker 33 (01:14:12):
He's amazing, live Mojo.

Speaker 3 (01:14:26):
God, let me take you back to the beginning.

Speaker 11 (01:14:28):
Is alrighty ready you're.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
Listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're a Dodo ahead.

Speaker 10 (01:14:38):
Let's go all right, see Mojo on the Morning Show.
Good to have you guys here the last throwback throwdown
of the year.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
Who's gonna win? Will it be.

Speaker 10 (01:14:48):
Shannon, Meghan, Mike or keV. I'll just give you this
right now. Meghan and Shannon are at a tie with
eight wins of yes, Mike has nine wins.

Speaker 3 (01:15:07):
Kevin, you see, I got to do some counting five
to ten, get six.

Speaker 11 (01:15:16):
This morning at fourteen, but.

Speaker 12 (01:15:17):
I have Zach forgot one sixteen.

Speaker 3 (01:15:22):
But here's the deal.

Speaker 10 (01:15:23):
I think what we're going to do is I think
we're gonna do like what they do on Jeopardy, where
when they come out with Final Jeopardy, you can wage
your wins against yeah yeah, and then but at the
end of the contest, after you win, then we'll figure
out who has waged what.

Speaker 3 (01:15:39):
Okay, let me say, you.

Speaker 11 (01:15:40):
Can only wage as many wins as.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
Yeah are you?

Speaker 7 (01:15:43):
Are you okay?

Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
You just got shot?

Speaker 11 (01:15:46):
Oh my god, I heard, Oh my gosh, I saw it.
Waged eight wins, eight wins.

Speaker 12 (01:15:54):
So here here's my thing though, because obviously I'm the
one that has the worst end of the stick.

Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
At this because I clean in the winner and I
could lose.

Speaker 12 (01:16:02):
If this is how we're gonna play it, then why
not double the five hundred to one thousand for the winner?

Speaker 3 (01:16:07):
Because imagine theaters hasn't given us the extra money.

Speaker 10 (01:16:10):
What do you want it? Where do you want the
money coming from? Okay, you want to come up with? Okay,
why don't you do it?

Speaker 3 (01:16:16):
If I got to.

Speaker 12 (01:16:17):
Lose something, can't they louse some extra money?

Speaker 14 (01:16:19):
Yes?

Speaker 10 (01:16:20):
Called Paul eight four four Mojo Live eight four four

Speaker 22 (01:16:49):

Speaker 20 (01:16:57):

Speaker 3 (01:17:00):

what's wait? What's the team again? Say it again?

Speaker 34 (01:17:08):

Speaker 12 (01:17:14):

Speaker 10 (01:18:23):
All right, let us get caught up on what's trending
right now in the Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Shannon, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 11 (01:18:30):
So this is some funny shade. Kelly Clarkson sent her
ex of a couple of years, Brandon Blackstock, some major
shade for Christmas this year. She was promoting her new
album When Christmas Comes Around Again this week and she
did like an album teaser, I don't know what they
actually call it, a visualization teaser on YouTube, which showed

(01:18:50):
a fireplace with four stockings hanging on it. Two of
them show the name of her kids, River and Runnington,
another one said mom. The fourth one just said in
all caps nope, good for her.

Speaker 7 (01:19:02):
He's been a terror during their divorce, so good for her.

Speaker 3 (01:19:07):
Are they do they co parent?

Speaker 11 (01:19:10):
I don't know if they co parent.

Speaker 10 (01:19:13):
Well, because I was wondering when you co parent, When
you co parent, I can only imagine how awkward the
McDonald's parking lot is when you guys are transferring over
your kids a deal.

Speaker 17 (01:19:24):
From the show, it sounds like because her is it
her mother in law's Reba?

Speaker 11 (01:19:29):
Uh yeah, I think you're right about that. Yes, I
think her former her mother outlaw correct.

Speaker 17 (01:19:35):
I think that the kids are still around like Riba
and stuff like I feel.

Speaker 10 (01:19:38):
Like Reba McIntyre Yeah yeah, yeah, wow, and her mother
in law is Is Riba hate her or not?

Speaker 7 (01:19:46):
That's what I'm saying. I think I think they're still.

Speaker 17 (01:19:49):
Getting a less Okay, I think fire that show Fancy
is one of the best songs of all time. I'll
die on that hell.

Speaker 11 (01:20:01):
Lizzo is speaking out about the lawsuit with her backup dancers.
She was chatting with Keiki Palmer yesterday on our podcast,
where she was talking about the sexual harassment lawsuit was
brought by three of her former backup dancers, a lawsuit
that accused of Lizzo and her touring company of all
wide range of legal wrongdoing and dozens of pages of
detailed allegations. She has always always denied all of the claims.

Speaker 26 (01:20:23):
Twenty twenty three, they come with a lawsuit and there's
a bunch of different claims.

Speaker 11 (01:20:27):
About harassment, AsSalt.

Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
Were you surprised.

Speaker 26 (01:20:32):
Did you know about it beforehand, that it was coming
before we saw it hit the net, or was it
a complete.

Speaker 5 (01:20:37):
Blind side situation. I was completely surprised. Really, I was
very deeply hurt because you know, these were three ex dancers,
so they weren't on the tour.

Speaker 7 (01:20:49):
They didn't like finish the tour out with us.

Speaker 5 (01:20:52):
But even regardless of that, these were people that I
gave opportunities to. These were people that I liked them
and appreciated them as dancers, respected them as dancers.

Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
So I was like what, But.

Speaker 5 (01:21:05):
Then I heard all the other things like sexual harassment,
and I was like, they're trying well, I don't know
what they're trying to do, but these are the types
of things that the media can turn into something that
is not.

Speaker 11 (01:21:18):
Yeah, she said to you did learn from the experience
and it's just really happy to move forward. And yesterday
I talked about Chief's quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the amazing
things that he gifted his alignment this year. Rolex's yettis
those hyper ice leg compression boots that are valued at
like a thousand bucks a pop.

Speaker 3 (01:21:34):
Have we heard of Jared Goff? Second, I haven't.

Speaker 11 (01:21:36):
Heard anything about Jared Goff. I have heard Rock Perdy
and Joe Burrow just raised the bar on Patrick Mahomes.
So Perty played Santa Claus for the forty nine Ers,
Burrow for the Cincinnati Bengals. Burrow gifted his offensive linemen
authentic Japanese katana swords. Each comes with its own story
from like certain towns or battles. He put them all

(01:21:56):
in the room and had the guys come in and
pick theirs out. Santa Parti gifted his guys cars led
them outside of the practice facility. There were five Toyota Sequoya's,
five Toyota Tundras for them to pick one pick from. Uh,
He's it's worth noting he is a Toyota ambassador. But still,

(01:22:17):
so he didn't pay for this. Still I will take
one whether he paid for it or not. That's a
very nice gift.

Speaker 7 (01:22:23):
Are we getting cars this year?

Speaker 11 (01:22:24):
Very nice gift.

Speaker 12 (01:22:25):
Joe Burrow gets his home broken into and he gives
all of his guys swords.

Speaker 10 (01:22:29):
Everybody's getting Eastern Market brewery stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:22:34):
You know what, that's what your get.

Speaker 7 (01:22:35):
I'll take it.

Speaker 3 (01:22:37):
I'm going to give you that.

Speaker 10 (01:22:38):
By the way, they asked me to hold it and
I didn't know it was going to be putt in
a picture. Is that like a client or something that
we're doing stuff for or who is that for?

Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
Yeah? We get paid for that at all? Or no? No?
Oh great, but.

Speaker 12 (01:22:50):
Our sales team working on the is it like a
potential client or what is it?

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
Who is it? What's the client?

Speaker 4 (01:22:57):
Again?

Speaker 3 (01:22:57):
I can't think Eastern Markets?

Speaker 7 (01:23:00):
Sorry?

Speaker 10 (01:23:01):
Growing at least can we get Can they give us
a case or something for home?

Speaker 14 (01:23:07):

Speaker 26 (01:23:11):

Speaker 10 (01:24:21):
Hold on one second, all right, all right, Mojoe On
the Morning Show, something kind of cool is going on
for Kevin. You know we talked about, uh, you know,
keV and his his breakup, and you hear Kevin talk
all the time about his son Josiah. Well, Kevin, this

(01:24:41):
year Christmas was going to be kind of a lonely
one because not only did you just go through this breakup,
and you weren't going to be with a journey. But
you also this year had the rotation of Christmas, and
you weren't going to be with Josiah because he was
going to be with his mom.

Speaker 3 (01:24:55):
That's what I thought, honestly.

Speaker 12 (01:24:57):
So so for those who don't know, Josiah's mother's name Jasmine.
And obviously we're not together, and we've come a long way,
and how we parent Josiah and not more importantly, but
as important, if not more important, as Josiah is living
with us, how we treat each other, and it hasn't
been great, but we're at a great place right now.

(01:25:21):
And we have one week on, one week off with Josiah,
so I get him every other week, but we still
abide by what the cord had. The court has distinguished
to be our holiday time. So every other year I
get Josiah on the Christmas Day. So for this year,
I wasn't sure so how it would work, because I
would get Josiah from the day that he gets out

(01:25:41):
of school for whatever the break is up until six
pm Christmas Eve, and then I would drop him off
to his mom and I wouldn't get him back until.

Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
New Year's Eve.

Speaker 12 (01:25:49):
A six pm, So I thought that was this year,
but then she read the document was like, no, you
get him for Christmas? And I was like, wow, but
I know I'm moving into the new house. It's not
all festive in there. It's not lights in the trees.
And I was like, you know what, man, why don't
you keep Josiah for Christmas?

Speaker 3 (01:26:06):
Eve?

Speaker 12 (01:26:07):
And this might be crazy, but would you mind if
I came over and spent the night so that when
Josiah woke up he could have like both his parents,
which he's never had before for Christmas.

Speaker 10 (01:26:19):
You guys have never done this never, So you never.
You guys have never been together. Yeah, since Josiah has
been born, he's never had that. Wow And wait, wait
a second, I want them to Is this like one
of those Hallmark movies?

Speaker 12 (01:26:32):
No, let's let's not like no, no, no, no, no, that's
that's not. My intention is not to have a relationship
with Jasmine. My intention is to focus on how happy
this will make Josiah. Okay, so what did she say
when you said that to her? It was like she
was like okay, Like she paused for a minute. She
was like, Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 11 (01:26:47):
So are you going to sleep like in Josiah's room.

Speaker 3 (01:26:50):
Yeah wait wait so this can we go back? Go back?

Speaker 10 (01:26:54):
Are there any couples that do this, like divorced couples
that do this where you guys, well, even though during
the year you guys have there's nothing between you guys,
you guys will put it all aside for the kids
and you'll spend a Christmas night together in the same place.
You'll have to call up and give keV some advice
on doing this. There is nothing between you guys, nothing

(01:27:15):
at all, and there will be nothing there.

Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
No. I mean, I'm not trying to grab no ass
to do no hide the alcohol.

Speaker 11 (01:27:21):
Which is probably why she felt comfortable enough to say yes,
because she knows that it's that's not what it's about.
It's about this, this little boy that you guys created.

Speaker 12 (01:27:31):
You just Josiah know yet Yeah, exiity. He was so excited.
He's like, oh my god, can we watch a movie?
Like he wants to watch a movie that he wants
to watch home alone. But that's the thing, bro like
obviously like being you know, in a relationship with Sharyll
and wanting to create a family there this was never
an option and now at a place where I'm on

(01:27:52):
my own as a single man. It's like, well, you know,
forget everything. Why not make Joe Siah the happiest that
he could possibly be? And why not give him this
moment something that I know he wants, something that I
know he would share it, even if it's nothing that
he's ever acts before.

Speaker 10 (01:28:05):
But why do I look at this as one of
those hallmark moments?

Speaker 11 (01:28:07):
Because everybody loves hope. Yeah, that's what it is. Everybody
loves the idea of hope, and you know, but the
reality is, like keV said, you're both not interested in
that ending.

Speaker 10 (01:28:19):
So listener, I don't know Josiah's mom at all. I've
only talked around the phone one time when you guys
were on the phone talking to each other. I said, Hi,
but I know that you guys have done a great
job raising this kid. Appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (01:28:31):
But there's no feelings at all for her.

Speaker 11 (01:28:33):
No, he's not gonna stop.

Speaker 3 (01:28:36):
Sure, No, I'm positive.

Speaker 7 (01:28:37):
Welcome to the world of being single around Mojo.

Speaker 3 (01:28:40):
No, I mean, come on, tell me that people tell
me that people don't feel this.

Speaker 12 (01:28:45):
Here's the thing, though, I value relationships, but you have
to be committed to your values. More than anything, and
when your values don't align with that relationship, then there
can't be one. So even though I love her as
a person and she's grown tremendously and so have I,

(01:29:05):
a relationship just isn't something that I think will work out.

Speaker 11 (01:29:08):
Okay, I love that you guys are doing this. This
will be a Christmas Josiah never ever forgets entire home.

Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Man.

Speaker 3 (01:29:15):
What's going on, Melissa? How are you hi?

Speaker 19 (01:29:18):
How are you good?

Speaker 3 (01:29:19):
Melissa? I've already wrote the script on this one. Yeah,
I want you to know.

Speaker 10 (01:29:24):
My script is this that all of a sudden, Josiah
wakes up in the morning and Kevin Jasmine are sleeping
in the same bed and they're like, no, how did
this happen?

Speaker 19 (01:29:38):
I think it's totally mutual with me and my exes,
and we take turns staying at each other's houses for holidays,
and there's nothing between us that's totally cordial.

Speaker 21 (01:29:53):
I'm a single woman, so I can see where people
would sometimes like raise their eyebrows a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:29:57):
But are your acces single guys?

Speaker 27 (01:30:02):
Yeah, they'll probably always be single.

Speaker 17 (01:30:06):
But okay, but if somebody starts thinking somebody, do you
think this tradition ends.

Speaker 20 (01:30:10):
Do you know, it's happened.

Speaker 24 (01:30:12):
Where they have been in relationships And I don't know
what that conversation looks like on their end, but it's
never stopped any of us been kind together for.

Speaker 20 (01:30:23):
Holidays with the kids.

Speaker 21 (01:30:25):
Melissa, we go to dinner with each other.

Speaker 13 (01:30:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:30:27):
Has there ever been a moment where you had a
little too much rum chatta and then.

Speaker 3 (01:30:32):
Got you know us?

Speaker 19 (01:30:34):
No, there could never be enough rum chada.

Speaker 27 (01:30:39):
Not enough alcohol in the world would make me not
sleep on the couch, trust me.

Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
Okay, all right, I like that, Mackenzie. What's up? It's
Mojoe in the morning.

Speaker 27 (01:30:48):
Hey, good morning guys, Good.

Speaker 11 (01:30:49):
Morning you guys.

Speaker 32 (01:30:52):
X and I, Yeah, go ahead, X and I do
this every year we're divorce. The first year, it had
been like a whole year since we got divorced prior
and we did end up poking up and then pass
that it was never again.

Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
Wait, what what was it that led to it?

Speaker 32 (01:31:14):
I don't know if it was just like feelings of
like being together again and seeing our family together. Yeah,
and how happy it made the kids to have both
parents there together on Christmas morning. It's really emotional for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
Man.

Speaker 10 (01:31:30):
Did the kids get upset that you guys hooked up,
and then that happened like sometimes kids don't want their
parents to be together.

Speaker 32 (01:31:37):
No, then that's another reason why we never did it again.

Speaker 22 (01:31:40):
And all kind of.

Speaker 32 (01:31:41):
Gave them false hope, Like they're younger seven and nine,
so they definitely got really excited because it was like, oh, well,
since you say Christmas Eve, why don't you stay tonight too?
And then it turned into like three days of insane.

Speaker 22 (01:31:53):
Oh we mess up there?

Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
Question?

Speaker 10 (01:31:55):
What kind of advice can you give to Kevin and
Jasmine on doing this this year?

Speaker 32 (01:32:01):
I think Kev's got to just focus on Josiah. That's
all you got to remember. Think about you know, be
intentional with your actions, think about how it may affect him,
and let's you'll be straight.

Speaker 10 (01:32:13):
You know what's good about this is it's gonna be
great because you're gonna be able to see the smile
on Josiah's face. The bad part is going to be
Jasmine's gonna have to deal with the two of you
guys probably all night playing video games.

Speaker 3 (01:32:23):
What's up, Tanisha?

Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
Hey, mo Hey god, what's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:32:29):
Tish? You heard this? This is cool?

Speaker 21 (01:32:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 32 (01:32:32):
I was falling into tell Keviman, like you're doing such
a good job with your son, like put in him
first and.

Speaker 21 (01:32:38):
Just worrying about him.

Speaker 32 (01:32:39):
Like I love that for you, Like this Christmas.

Speaker 19 (01:32:41):
Is gonna be one of the Christmas that he's never
gonna forget, never.

Speaker 11 (01:32:45):
Going to figure appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (01:32:46):
That is so special you.

Speaker 19 (01:32:49):
And just merry Christmas.

Speaker 22 (01:32:50):
But Mojo, my four year old has something to say
to you.

Speaker 3 (01:32:54):
Okay, yes, Hi ho ho ho.

Speaker 14 (01:32:58):
Hi.

Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
What's up.

Speaker 19 (01:33:01):
Giming you some life? Taking me and my dad?

Speaker 10 (01:33:04):
Please, we're doing that in like three minutes, buddy, be listening. Okay,
so get ready, We're going to do it in a
couple of minutes here, Okay, I'd love to give it
to you.

Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
By the way, I think this is the new ploy now.

Speaker 10 (01:33:19):
I asked me first off around Christmas time, and I
can't say no to you.

Speaker 17 (01:33:23):
Good try momod he's the son of the guy that
does your furniture, Anthony.

Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
Oh, we love them. Yeah, he's.

Speaker 10 (01:33:31):
Since cav is getting to stay the night with Jasmine,
I'll give them lions tickets. Can I stay the night
with you guys on Christmas? I'm just kidding, Laurie, Laurie,
what's going on?

Speaker 21 (01:33:42):
Hi?

Speaker 22 (01:33:44):
Hi, Laurie. Oh my gosh, listen to me. I want
to I just want to say that my ex husband
and I did this all the time. I have adult
children now. I think it's the best thing you can
do for your kids. All children have thanked me numerous
times at Christmas time for allowing their dad to come

(01:34:07):
and spend the night with us and have him be
there in the morning. And it doesn't have to be
anything romantic or sexual. It just is the right thing
to do, in my opinion. And I forgot to tell
Lydia this. And because I kind of forgot about it,
their dad passed away probably about I think seven years

(01:34:29):
ago or something like this, and I swear to God
on the Holy Bible. On Christmas Eve, we uh he
lived in Florida. We had the doorbell ring. We went
to the door and I don't know who does this,
but they had delivered their dad's ashes to the home
and they were like, look at mom, Dad's here again

(01:34:52):
with us.

Speaker 11 (01:34:57):
This crazy Get those crazy?

Speaker 20 (01:35:00):
Yeah, it is crazy.

Speaker 22 (01:35:02):
But anyhow, keV, good job, buddy.

Speaker 10 (01:35:05):
Merry Christmas to you. Have a great Christmas, Laurey to you,
thank you, thank you, Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:35:12):
Come, oh ye faithful well, population Merry Christmas from Mojo
in the morning.

Speaker 3 (01:35:20):
All right, Lions.

Speaker 10 (01:35:21):
Tickets, that's your chance to win. Here's what we're going
to do for these tickets. I want you to call
us up eight four four Mojoe Live. But before you call,
there's a specific type of caller that we're looking for.
We all know that this has been a season of
injuries for the Lions. Their defense has been just decimated,
but they come back and fight for more. The people

(01:35:45):
that we want to go are true Lions fans, people
that have gone through what the Lions have gone through injury,
but came back for more. So here's the question. I
want to know the craziest injury you ever had. I
want to know what is the craziest injury that you
ever had? And how did you get that injury? Like

(01:36:05):
I'm talking somebody with the most unbelievable injury ever. I
want to know the guy that literally, maybe I don't know,
broke the wiener or something.

Speaker 3 (01:36:15):
I don't know, but can you break that bone? I
think you probably could.

Speaker 10 (01:36:21):
I'll tell you what, there's some people that you'd break
it for, probably, right.

Speaker 3 (01:36:26):
Guys, all right, call us up right now.

Speaker 12 (01:36:30):
The craziest injury you ever had, is going to get
a chance to win a thousand dollars stub Hub gift
card to win Lions.

Speaker 14 (01:36:36):
There is.

Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
Eight mojo eight four four six six five six five
eight Is this.

Speaker 15 (01:36:43):
Mojo in the Morning, Detroit, Toledo, Three Great Stations, one
stupid show.

Speaker 36 (01:36:57):
Mojo in the Morning Live, All right, Mosoe in the Morning. Fans,
wait us, grab your coffee, and let's.

Speaker 3 (01:37:06):
Get ready to do. When we do go ball, we'd
down the feed a charging team that will not yield
and will the Blue and Silver away. Let's go stand
in s up.

Speaker 33 (01:37:21):
Hard.

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
When the game with honor, you will keep your fane down.
The feuding game.

Speaker 20 (01:37:30):
A line the.

Speaker 10 (01:37:41):
Lions versus the Minnesota Vikings. That game happens on January
the fifth. We are going to be on vacation until
January the sixth, and so we get to give away
our pair of tickets. Well it's actually a one thousand
dollars stub Hub give card, and we have vowed that
we'll do it always the day before our shows are.

Speaker 7 (01:38:05):
That's what happened when we did it.

Speaker 3 (01:38:06):
We should have listened to Megan. We should have listened
to Megan. The Lions ended up having a loss.

Speaker 10 (01:38:12):
They are taking on the Bears this weekend right in Chicago.
The Bears are and eight. Since that incident took place
where there they're corner back. Remember just remember that when
the guy was taunting the fans. I saw that on
TICKETO have one game since.

Speaker 7 (01:38:31):
Love to see it. We love to see it.

Speaker 10 (01:38:34):
Well, here's the deal. We also want to make sure
that we don't get too hyped up with us and
get too crazy. That's why the Lions are telling you
don't give up hope when they have injury. They know
what they're doing. This team is put together for a reason.
That's why when you have an injury, you don't give
up hope you come back from it. So this morning
on our show, we want to go injured for the Lions.

(01:38:57):
What's the craziest injury that you sustain? How did you
get it? We've got some people on the phone lines
here and then we got to pick who's going to
be the person winning this thousand dollar card from Papa
Romano's Pizza. Good friend Chris over at Papa Romano's Pizza.

Speaker 3 (01:39:12):
Oh, that's the wrong button. Where's my Ding? My Ding
went there?

Speaker 10 (01:39:17):
It is my Ding's getting blocked over here. All right,
so first up for grabs, Let's go to Katie here, Katie,
how you doing?

Speaker 14 (01:39:27):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (01:39:27):
How are you good? Katie? Katie? What's the craziest injury
that you got?

Speaker 21 (01:39:33):
Well, my boyfriend when I was It was a while ago,
but my boyfriend was dropping me off at the front
of a restaurant and I got out of the car
and then as I was starting to walk away, I
was like, oh wait, I forgot my purse. So I
opened the door and he started to drive away, and
then he stopped suddenly and the side of the door
like the cart. It's like hard to describe, but it

(01:39:56):
sliced my face open.

Speaker 3 (01:39:57):
Oh my god.

Speaker 21 (01:40:00):
And I was laying I was laying on the parking
lot ground like with my face blood.

Speaker 3 (01:40:05):
What did he do?

Speaker 21 (01:40:05):
And he likes he grabbed me and like brought me.
He jumped out of his car and then we went
into the restaurant and I was like crying through the
restaurant with blood streaming, face, like scared.

Speaker 3 (01:40:16):
Everybody thought that that guy was a bad guy, didn't they?

Speaker 21 (01:40:19):
Yes, And I was.

Speaker 31 (01:40:21):
It was so scary because kids people.

Speaker 21 (01:40:23):
Were looking at me. People were like, oh my good,
like their kids were scared. I was like, it looks
like a horror movie and it was all in my hair,
was everywhere, and I had to go to the hospital.

Speaker 3 (01:40:32):
And then do you have a mark stone face because
of it?

Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
I do?

Speaker 20 (01:40:37):
I do.

Speaker 6 (01:40:38):
It's kind of like my.

Speaker 3 (01:40:39):
You know, battle, your badge of honor.

Speaker 10 (01:40:41):
There that guy, I guarantee when that happens, I swear
to you as a guy.

Speaker 3 (01:40:45):
I'm like, I swear to God, I swear I'm not OJA.
I don't know. I'm like, I'm like a good guy.
Don't be messling with.

Speaker 10 (01:40:53):
Me, ud, Alexandra, Let's get yours. Okay, craziest injury that
you got, Alexandra went going to make you cringe.

Speaker 20 (01:41:02):
No, this is going through trust face.

Speaker 21 (01:41:04):
When I was in school, I remember running and I
had a pencil.

Speaker 7 (01:41:08):
In my hands and it got you.

Speaker 19 (01:41:10):
I tripped and fell and it got me between my
eyebont nose.

Speaker 22 (01:41:18):
I could do not And to this day, I.

Speaker 20 (01:41:20):
Still have blood in my eye.

Speaker 21 (01:41:21):
Like I can see it's still blurry, but I still
have blood.

Speaker 19 (01:41:25):
In my eyes.

Speaker 3 (01:41:25):
You are so lucky that you have an eye though. Man,
that's amazing. You can see out of your eyes.

Speaker 21 (01:41:30):
I mean I can see. It's like very blurry in
my left but I could still see.

Speaker 19 (01:41:36):
But I mean, I'm blessed.

Speaker 10 (01:41:38):
Oh my god, that's crazy. All right, hold on one second.
Hold on, that's a good one. That's a really good one.
D is up next?

Speaker 14 (01:41:43):
Hi, D?

Speaker 3 (01:41:44):
How you doing up? D?

Speaker 23 (01:41:46):
I'm good.

Speaker 10 (01:41:47):
What's happening there? I think in D was going to
be a guy, and I'm like I'm good. I'm like, yes, D,
what's up? Let's hear about this injury you got.

Speaker 23 (01:41:58):
That's I I tell people, do not try to sit home.
So my horse got out.

Speaker 3 (01:42:04):
And he was.

Speaker 12 (01:42:07):
When people say something like that, like yeah, like everybody
has a horse.

Speaker 10 (01:42:12):
Your horse got out? Where'd your horse get out of
the barn? The horse got The horse got out of the.

Speaker 23 (01:42:18):
Barn, And of course he's running towards the road. I'm
in my pajamas. I jumped on my side by side.
I get all the way up to him, and he
turns around and decides he does not want to be
caught and runs back to the barn. Unbeknownst to me,
the rope that I had that I was going to

(01:42:39):
catch him with slipped down around my arm and went
into the wheelwall of the side by side and it
wrapped around my arm and pulled me out of the
gator going forty five miles an hour. I broke all
of my ribs on my left hand side. The gator
hit me, it s helped me, and and it was

(01:43:01):
also on a dirt driveway, so I had road rafts everywhere.
My poor mother, who's seventy some years old, was in
the passenger seat, and she's still going looking back at me, like,
oh my god, what just happened. So finally the rope
is still wrapped completely around my arm, cutting off all circulation.

(01:43:24):
But finally got up to the house and walked in
the front door and proceeded to pass out on the
dog bed, and my husband was like, what did you do?
And called an ambulance and kind of the rest is history.

Speaker 10 (01:43:37):
But I tell him that, by the way, if you
got a horse, do you got enough money for tickets?
That seems like a lot of money to have a horse,
unless where do you live? Where do you live?

Speaker 23 (01:43:50):
Theater spring?

Speaker 3 (01:43:51):
Okay, so we got you live. You're in the sticks?

Speaker 23 (01:43:53):
Then, huh, I'm in the stick?

Speaker 3 (01:43:57):
Okay? All right? Is that how you guys get around town?

Speaker 11 (01:44:00):
We were judging on this story.

Speaker 21 (01:44:02):
We do not use.

Speaker 23 (01:44:04):
We do not use the side by side.

Speaker 6 (01:44:06):
I'm not allowed to.

Speaker 23 (01:44:07):
Be on that with a rope.

Speaker 12 (01:44:08):
Okay, all right, can we just confirm her injuries? Broken
ribs and what else was happening?

Speaker 11 (01:44:13):
Sanity?

Speaker 23 (01:44:13):
Broken ribs and I had staples in my head, I
had road wrass across my face, my entire body. And also,
amazingly enough, I did not break my arm. But what
it did when it cut off my circulation is it
took literally all of my skin, my muscles, and my
nerves and made a gigantic ball at my wrists. And

(01:44:35):
so now that eventually went a way.

Speaker 3 (01:44:38):
But now, can you watch Lions games on TV on
the farm there?

Speaker 23 (01:44:42):
Or if you no, we don't get any TV.

Speaker 10 (01:44:44):
You don't get my god, where they're calling us from.
This is unbelievable. She's on the ranch. Are you on
Yellowstone ranch? Do you know Beth and ripping those guys?
Hold on a second, here, this is the one here,
let's go to Tyler. Are you there, Tyler?

Speaker 27 (01:44:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:44:58):
All right, well, good morning, Tyler. El were injured for
the Lions. The Lions got a lot of injuries. So
do you craziest injury you got?

Speaker 37 (01:45:06):
I was working in the elevator shaft and my arm
got pinned between uh a steel beam and the counterweights
coming down, And I was stuck there for over two.

Speaker 3 (01:45:17):
Hours in an elevator shaft.

Speaker 10 (01:45:19):
Like wait, the elevator closed on you and your arm
started getting stuck.

Speaker 37 (01:45:24):
I was working in the elevator shaft, okay, and then
the counterweight came down and smashed mouth.

Speaker 14 (01:45:30):
Oh.

Speaker 10 (01:45:31):
I've always wondered if you got your arm stuck, like
I've tried to stop the elevator door, and I've always
wondered if your door, if your hand gets stuck in there,
would your arm all of a sudden break off and like.

Speaker 3 (01:45:41):
Be left inside the door?

Speaker 10 (01:45:43):
Yeah, right here it would be. It could be potential.
That's crazy. Those are crazy ones. You want to talk
to somebody who broke a kneecap, You want to talk
to somebody who broke their balls? Or do you want
to talk to somebody that broke the penis? Or all three?
Let's go all three. Give me some balls and penis balls,
balls and penis chase?

Speaker 3 (01:46:04):
What's up? How you doing well?

Speaker 24 (01:46:07):
Mo?

Speaker 4 (01:46:07):
Drop your guy?

Speaker 38 (01:46:08):
Then, when I was a kid, I was hopping over
one of those wire fences playing football with some friends
once to go retrieve the football, and on my way down,
my Dan Campbell's got stuck on the fence and one
of them ripped open and.

Speaker 4 (01:46:25):
Back up. And growing up, I've been the one nut wonder.

Speaker 3 (01:46:32):
Day. This is good.

Speaker 10 (01:46:33):
Chase, you're good, Hold on, Chase is good. All right,
let's go from balls to penis. Now, voices, guys, this
next collar here, Tea, are you there? I almost think
that I would not want my regular voice on the
ear if I was telling everybody that my penis broke?

Speaker 3 (01:46:51):
What happened to you?

Speaker 14 (01:46:52):
T H.

Speaker 39 (01:46:56):
I was pucking up with coldyan girl. Do you want
to to come over?

Speaker 14 (01:47:00):
So?

Speaker 11 (01:47:00):
I said, okay?

Speaker 39 (01:47:03):
In a room upstairs for some law footsteps. Dad opened
the door, kicked open the door with a Louisville slugger,
started beating me.

Speaker 11 (01:47:16):
With the baseball bat.

Speaker 3 (01:47:17):
Wait, who was it.

Speaker 39 (01:47:20):
The father of the girl that I was the father.

Speaker 3 (01:47:22):
Of the Chaldean girl. Yes, he beat you.

Speaker 10 (01:47:25):
He caught you in your his Kaldian daughter's room, in
bed with her.

Speaker 39 (01:47:33):
Let's just say the footsteps helped me not be in bed.

Speaker 10 (01:47:36):
But yes, and he beat you with a Louisville slugger
baseball bat. How did the tell me about the broken penis.

Speaker 39 (01:47:44):
Well, he was facing the door and there was one
way out, so I used the window. I jumped out
the window, landed on my right leg. I broke my ankle,
I sprained my MCL but when I slipped out, I
landed directly on my stomach and I still had a

(01:48:06):
still had.

Speaker 12 (01:48:14):
You still had a boner and the boner ended up breaking.

Speaker 11 (01:48:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 39 (01:48:22):
I was running around the thing, was getting my ass
beat with.

Speaker 3 (01:48:25):
So you fell on your penis? Oh my god? Does
it still work.

Speaker 21 (01:48:32):
Sometimes?

Speaker 3 (01:48:35):
Do you still hang out with Keldy and girls?

Speaker 39 (01:48:39):
They are still amazing?

Speaker 3 (01:48:43):
Oh my god? Do their dad still catch you?

Speaker 39 (01:48:46):
I just stay away from them. Now, learn your lesson.

Speaker 3 (01:48:48):
Right right, exactly? All right? Hold on one second, hold on.

Speaker 10 (01:48:52):
This is the moment of truth, guys, This is the
moment of truth. Hair on the show. We got a
lot of injuries. There's some ones here. I mean, had
a lady fall off of a horse. We had somebody
have their arm in an elevator shaft. Person's got a
finger or I'm sorry, a pencil through their eye. The

(01:49:14):
guy ripped his Dan Campbell's and the Caldian dad beat
the crap out of his boner.

Speaker 3 (01:49:21):
Which one do you guys like? I think I like
Chase the balls guy.

Speaker 11 (01:49:24):
I wonder two you like him too.

Speaker 3 (01:49:28):
Dan campbells the winner of a one thousand dollars.

Speaker 12 (01:49:35):
Stub Hub gift cards so they can go purchase tickets
to see the Lions take on the Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 3 (01:49:41):
Dear it up for Chase every what else. You're a
winner man?

Speaker 4 (01:49:48):
All right, maybe Dan will share the love.

Speaker 3 (01:49:51):
Congratulations to you.

Speaker 14 (01:49:52):
Man.

Speaker 10 (01:49:52):
We're gonna set you up with those tickets. Uh, you
got them courtesy of zod Ford our good friend Steve Gebara.
He's got both his balls intact. I know that for a.

Speaker 7 (01:50:02):
Fact at the end of the days.

Speaker 3 (01:50:03):
And yes, he's been He's a.

Speaker 10 (01:50:06):
Guy that love him and Chris from Papa Romano's Pizza
where if you want a deal on Papa Romano's Pizza,
text my Dan Campbell's too.

Speaker 3 (01:50:18):
Could you imagine that?

Speaker 10 (01:50:19):
By the way, you and Chase, you're a great storyteller too, man,
that's a great story.

Speaker 38 (01:50:24):
I appreciate it, guys, And Merry Christmas.

Speaker 3 (01:50:27):
Merry Christmas, Merry Christmas.

Speaker 5 (01:50:28):
Pal.

Speaker 3 (01:50:28):
We love you, buddy. All right.

Speaker 10 (01:50:30):
It's Mojo in the Morning show still to come. We'll
have some red Wings tickets. Who are they playing? By
the way, Lydia the Red Wings for this camp?

Speaker 7 (01:50:37):
Montreal, Canadian?

Speaker 10 (01:50:38):
Did you see, by the way, did everybody see this?
Did you see the viral video of the guys that
were at the Little Caesars Arena for the Philadelphia game?
We gave way tickets at the Philadelphia Flyers game and
the security guard broke up a fight and beat the crap.

Speaker 28 (01:50:57):
Out of.

Speaker 14 (01:51:00):
Here.

Speaker 12 (01:51:00):
You want to hear it. I see him every day.
I saw him last night, the security guard. I got
to tell you that security guard. She get a raise
for what he did. That story is unbelievable. So there's
two fans in the stands. There were a shirtless guy
and flannel guy and they were being obnoxious. I guess
in the stands, does anybody know who these guys are?
Because I want to know what their what their full
story is. Hold On, here's a Jessica Dupnack on this thing.

(01:51:24):
Where's where's it at here?

Speaker 20 (01:51:25):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (01:51:25):
I got it right here, Papa Ah. It's going to
be a good time getting some time off, isn't it.
Hold on, here we go.

Speaker 40 (01:51:36):
There is nothing like a good old hockey brawl. Usually
you see it on the ice, though this week at
l c A at the Red Wings.

Speaker 11 (01:51:43):
Game, all the action was in the stands.

Speaker 40 (01:51:50):
That smash your herd body parts into the glass at
l c A Wednesday night. Usually you see it on
the ice, though this week at LCA ten two ruy
fans versus LCA security in the third.

Speaker 3 (01:52:10):
People liked it.

Speaker 29 (01:52:12):
I'm not gonna lie. It was like you don't see
that every single day. Like you said earlier, you see
it on the ice, typically not in the stands.

Speaker 40 (01:52:18):
Got a couple characters to introduce no shirt Guy and
flannel Guy their buddies and sources tell.

Speaker 11 (01:52:23):
Us they had some drinks.

Speaker 7 (01:52:25):
Yeah, I'm shocked Booze was involved.

Speaker 29 (01:52:27):
Yeah, shocking, right, especially with how expensive they are, like
eight and a half dollars a pop.

Speaker 40 (01:52:33):
Brian Fisher hosts a Red Wings podcast and was there
at the game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Speaker 29 (01:52:38):
I'm hearing the crowd get so raucous, and I'm looking
around and I'm going, there's nothing happened on the ice.

Speaker 40 (01:52:44):
Shirtless guy wasn't wearing one because he apparently wore an
orange shirt that night happened to be the Flyers colors
and he is a Wings fan. We're told they were
loud and obnoxious and security stepped in. It got physical.

Speaker 14 (01:52:57):
That seemed to.

Speaker 11 (01:52:58):
Literally knock some sense into flannel guy. But nope. Cut
to this clip.

Speaker 10 (01:53:06):
Man, the guys are being so obnoxious that the scurity
guard grabbed him off way guy and held on the stairs.

Speaker 40 (01:53:11):
This guy tries to get away, but he's stopped by
fans and more security. Ilitch Entertainment said in a statement
in part, the two individuals who were ejected from Little
Caesars Arena on Wednesday for their unruly behavior will be
banned for their actions.

Speaker 2 (01:53:26):
It's almost talked about things in the Red Wings the past.

Speaker 40 (01:53:29):
Like two weeks the Wings ended up with the w
six to four, and we're told the crowd was energized
after melee at LCA.

Speaker 3 (01:53:37):
That was interesting.

Speaker 40 (01:53:38):
The Wings head coach even weighing in during the postgame
wrap up.

Speaker 4 (01:53:42):
When all four refs and both teams stopped playing to
watch head game.

Speaker 3 (01:53:49):
Uh that's an old timer?

Speaker 20 (01:53:50):
Is that?

Speaker 15 (01:53:51):
That?

Speaker 2 (01:53:51):
Good?

Speaker 3 (01:53:51):
Great ist?

Speaker 10 (01:53:52):
So the guys, the guys in the stands were crazy. Uh,
and Jason, you were right there. What exactly was going on?

Speaker 3 (01:53:59):
Jason?

Speaker 4 (01:54:01):
The whole story is a little bit sainted. I was
watching the entire thing, and uh, those guys weren't bothering anybody. Yes,
the guy did not have a shirt on, that is true,
but that's the the security or not security. The usher
over there, he was after those guys the entire game.
He was giving him grab the entire game, really and
uh yeah, and then towards the end. I mean, as

(01:54:22):
far as I'm concerned, in the number of other people
in my section, that security guard should have been either
fired or put in his right mind.

Speaker 10 (01:54:29):
WHOA wait a second, why why do you say that?
Because keV says he's a really nice guy who works
his butt off.

Speaker 3 (01:54:35):
Nah, he doesn't.

Speaker 4 (01:54:36):
That guy I was sitting in section next to that section.
I've been there for two years of the season.

Speaker 3 (01:54:40):
So what was he? So what was he so upset about? What?

Speaker 10 (01:54:42):
What was it that got so upsetting that that caused
for them to get into the the aisle and start,
you know, uh, I don't know, tackling each other and
falling downstairs, and the security guard like threw the guy's
head into the to the glass.

Speaker 4 (01:54:59):
The absolutely and that was wrong. They should have never
put their hands on those two guys. That wasn't security,
he was the usher, and that Usher was after him
for the entire game. There was nothing that those guys did.
They weren't standing up, they weren't being mean, they weren't
yelling at people.

Speaker 3 (01:55:13):
So there wasn't anybody complaining about them at all.

Speaker 4 (01:55:16):
Nobody complained. There was nobody the entire game until that
Usher came down there and started yelling.

Speaker 3 (01:55:22):
I'll be honest with you, it was wrong.

Speaker 10 (01:55:23):
I got it. I'll be honest. And you know more
than I do, because you were there. All I know
is the video. There's nothing better than There's nothing better
than seeing some guy's head go up against the boards.

Speaker 3 (01:55:33):
I don't know. I mean, if it was me, i'd
be upset. I love it. I love it. I'm watching it.

Speaker 7 (01:55:38):
Here at the beginning is a man's head.

Speaker 3 (01:55:40):
I loved it. I thought it was great.

Speaker 11 (01:55:41):
I mean, I listen, I'll phone to videotapes.

Speaker 10 (01:55:45):
Why the Lions could use that Usher to play on
our defense? McNeil's out for a little bit, you know
what I mean? How old is that Usher? Probably he's
an older dude, isn't he.

Speaker 4 (01:55:56):
Yeah, he's an older guy. He's an older guy.

Speaker 10 (01:55:58):
But I mean that guy's got some I bet you
that that guy Seriously, he's got to be a former
auto worker or something like that, because he's a barrel man.

Speaker 3 (01:56:05):
That's a bear.

Speaker 12 (01:56:07):
See how big he is? Brom telling you he works
in the back, does he? He works in the back
of the house, so he deals with the visitor players.
And like, Bro, I'm telling you, the nicest guy ever
when you get to know him.

Speaker 10 (01:56:17):
Yeah, listen, if I say, what what section was that section?

Speaker 3 (01:56:23):
One?

Speaker 13 (01:56:24):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (01:56:24):
That was one O one O seven.

Speaker 10 (01:56:28):
If I'm in one O seven or one O six,
I'm being kind, I'm not. I'm keeping my shirt on.
I am messing around legacy.

Speaker 20 (01:56:35):
I know.

Speaker 10 (01:56:35):
I don't want that guy putting his arms around me
and all of a sudden knocking my head into the glass.

Speaker 3 (01:56:39):
That was like good old fashioned, old time red wings.

Speaker 14 (01:56:41):
Yea.

Speaker 10 (01:56:42):
If I'm Chris Ilic, I give the guy an accommodation
and I signed him to the team.

Speaker 3 (01:56:46):
You know. That was the most excitement that the fans
have had in a while, absolutely on the ice.

Speaker 4 (01:56:51):
But Usher should never put their hands on people like that.

Speaker 3 (01:56:53):
Yeah, No, I get it, I get it.

Speaker 10 (01:56:55):
You don't want to see that happening unless unless there's
more to the story that we just don't all know.

Speaker 3 (01:57:00):
About so which.

Speaker 4 (01:57:01):
There was a lot more to the story, and that's
what was not videoed.

Speaker 10 (01:57:04):
All right, well, listen, we got tickets to go see
the Wings. If you want to win them, we're gonna
give them away. Coming up in twenty minutes to come.

Speaker 11 (01:57:10):
Down to the radio station and smash somebody's head the
window to our studio.

Speaker 3 (01:57:15):
Now you're talking. You know what.

Speaker 10 (01:57:20):
We could never get that by our security lawyers here.
They would be like, uh no, that's not a great idea.
You know what I want to do in twenty twenty five,
I want to put the most idiotic promotions through to
the legal department at iHeart, not to see if they
get passed, but just to see them go. Mister Pittman,
we should have a conversation about these people in Detroit. Shannon,

(01:57:41):

Speaker 20 (01:57:43):

Speaker 10 (01:58:42):
This is the last Shannon's Dirty on the thirty of
twenty twenty four.

Speaker 3 (01:58:50):
Oh do you remember the first?

Speaker 10 (01:58:54):
No, you did a story about Diddy? No, you do
a story about Kardashian I bet you there. I'm trying
to think what was the big story at the beginning
of the year. Taylor Swift had to be probably something
Taylor Swift.

Speaker 11 (01:59:07):
Was the biggest story of the year for sure, and
the Eras tours. But yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:59:12):
Probably Taylor and Travis two years ago or three years
ago we did what was the most talked about thing
during the Dirty and it was a Kardashian thing. This year,
I would probably say it was Taylor, and I would
probably say Diddy could be number two because there was
so much scandal with all that stuff that was going on,
so that was happening, and then I would probably say

(01:59:33):
Kevin Kevin noo think works all right?

Speaker 11 (01:59:37):
Well, I am starting off with Didy.

Speaker 3 (01:59:39):
Story to the rust shooting was probably something big too.

Speaker 11 (01:59:43):
That's been big. Yeaheah, I'm starting off with Diddy. I'm
ending with something really stupid. But whatever, so did he
no longer One of the most famous faces at the
Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. Luigi Manzioni, the
twenty six year old accused of killing that United Healthcare
CEO Pine Tom He was transferred to the same exact
prison yesterday afternoon. He was extradited to New York from

(02:00:08):
Pennsylvania and that's where they put him. So it's him
and Ditty cozy together.

Speaker 10 (02:00:12):
Did you see the uh? There was a story herold
on me. I'm google it right now. Not be cat.
There is a oh, here you go. A Michigan man
is accused of allegedly stabbing the president of a company
that he worked at in the middle of a meeting
in what is being called now a copycat attack that

(02:00:35):
mirrors the killing of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Eric
Denslow heads the Anderson Express Incorporated manufacturing company a Muskegan,
which is our listening area, was stabbed during a staff
meeting on Tuesday, and the police say that they have
not ruled out that it was a copycat killing. It

(02:00:56):
was the CEO of the company or the person that
was running the company being stabbed in the middle of
the meeting, and some people are saying that he had
brought up that United Healthcare Luigi thing that was going on.

Speaker 11 (02:01:11):
It's crazy, craziness crazy. So I do have an update
on Lions player David Montgomery. I know a lot of
people were wondering what's the deal with his knee, and
I saw this on X earlier this morning. David Montgomery
has avoided a season ending knee injury and will rehab
with the hopes of returning to the team during the playoffs.

(02:01:31):
That's per rap sheet. So I know he had gotten
three different opinions of what to do with this injury,
and this is what he's opting for. So fingers crossed,
he'll be back.

Speaker 3 (02:01:40):
I love grit man.

Speaker 10 (02:01:41):
That guy is like total Detroit, Like he's going to
play through an injury and he's like, this season, we
got to do it.

Speaker 3 (02:01:47):
You know, yes, right?

Speaker 11 (02:01:48):
I mean she is a very very nice friend. Kim
Kardashian surprised her bff Tracy Romulus with a brand new
Tesla cybertruck for her birthday yesterday.

Speaker 20 (02:02:00):
A clip.

Speaker 3 (02:02:00):
No, but you guys aren't mind friends, I'm not going
what you got?

Speaker 14 (02:02:04):

Speaker 10 (02:02:05):

we give him like a weekend or something like that?
Let me get that week the avenue.

Speaker 11 (02:02:13):

Speaker 11 (02:02:29):
Sanity in sanity?

Speaker 7 (02:02:33):
Congratulations, you got the ugliest car on the road.

Speaker 11 (02:02:37):
And you instantly become a douche except for Julie's a
go from the car. You guys, he's a nice guy.
I gotta say that.

Speaker 12 (02:02:42):
And my buddy, I'm kind of falling in love with him.
I'm gonna be honest with you.

Speaker 3 (02:02:47):
They look sweet.

Speaker 11 (02:02:50):
Whenever Smithy's one, he I think I'm getting into an accident.

Speaker 3 (02:02:53):
He's like, I'll be that guy.

Speaker 11 (02:02:56):
All right, did you guys see Wendy Williams yesterday? She
was out and about with the very rare public, outing
to watch her son, Kevin Hunter Junior, graduate from college.
Wendy Williams, the former talk show host who whose team
I should Say, announced her front toe temporal dementia and
emphasia diagnoses earlier this year. Was photographed attending Florida International
University's graduation yesterday. She was riding a red mobility scooter,

(02:03:20):
but she was dressed to the nines. She had her
hair and makeup don she was looking good good and
last I told you I'm ending with something stupid, but
I saw this trending Everyboerey yesterday. Just to drive parents
crazy around this time of year, Pepa Pig is now

By the way, there's something about all of our Detroit
sports teams when girls wear their colors, so to speak,
when they wear like the old English d for the tigers,
when they've got the pistons on, you know, with their
their pistons blue on or red the lions. Obviously, anything

(02:04:58):
with lions right now makes a girl high her. And
then red wings when a girl's got a you know,
wing wheel on. Where the girls? Who was it that
was at our concert? Isabella Rosa, She was wearing red wings. Yeah,
so beautiful. All right, it's Mojo in the morning. This
is kind of funny. Well to talk about this, and

(02:05:19):
then when we grab a winter we'll open up the
phone lines. Shannon last night went out for dinner with
a bunch of her friends. She had a girl's night
out and you ran into somebody interesting on a date
at that same restaurant.

Speaker 11 (02:05:32):
That you were at, Sir did so. A bunch of
my friends and I had dinner reservations last night to
check out a restaurant in downtown Detroy. It's called Elpino.
I love shouting out our local restaurants.

Speaker 3 (02:05:44):
Is what's kind of restaurant? What kind of food?

Speaker 7 (02:05:47):
They say?

Speaker 11 (02:05:48):
I don't even really know how to describe it. It's
like a mix of food from like Germany and like
the area around the Alps is what they say. It
sounds weird, but the food is absolutely freaky phenomenal, So
good try it. Put it on your list. So I
walk in with like seven of my girlfriends and they're
leading us to our table, which is a long table,
like right in the center of this little ibbit restaurant.

(02:06:10):
And I look over into the corner of the restaurant,
nestled next to the fireplace, all cozy, and who do
I see? None other than KP on a date.

Speaker 31 (02:06:22):
Wow.

Speaker 11 (02:06:25):
And it's that moment of like I really want to
go say hi, but I also don't want to interrupt
and be a total creep. So I just sat down
and left her alone. But I did send her a
text to say I want to come say hi, I
don't want to interrupt.

Speaker 3 (02:06:37):
Did you see the text?

Speaker 11 (02:06:39):
I saw it later, but but I actually didn't because
it wasn't me.

Speaker 7 (02:06:43):
I was dated.

Speaker 11 (02:06:48):
And you were just having dinner with a boy.

Speaker 3 (02:06:51):
What did the guy look like? Was a cute?

Speaker 11 (02:06:53):
Here's cute? What did he look like?

Speaker 2 (02:06:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 11 (02:06:56):
I mean I didn't like.

Speaker 3 (02:06:56):
Sit and see type like did you have flannel on?

Speaker 11 (02:07:00):
I don't. I don't know what he.

Speaker 4 (02:07:04):
Did.

Speaker 11 (02:07:04):
He had blonde hair? Is dirty blonde?

Speaker 3 (02:07:08):
Dirty blonde?

Speaker 16 (02:07:10):
Is it?

Speaker 20 (02:07:13):
Thought?

Speaker 11 (02:07:16):
So it wasn't like I kept turning around to be.

Speaker 10 (02:07:19):
Like, hold on to this person, hold on a second
real quick. I want to ask this question eight four
four Mojo Live. If you see somebody out on a date,
do you go up and say something to them? Or
do you not because you don't want to like intrude
on their date. You have to call us up real quick.
A man, are Emma, you're a winner.

Speaker 3 (02:07:35):
Congratulations.

Speaker 10 (02:07:39):
You're going to see the Wings play the Montreal Canadians
at Little Caesars Arena tonight.

Speaker 3 (02:07:46):
Look for Lydia. I shall be there.

Speaker 34 (02:07:48):
Okay, Oh my gosh, yeah, we love you, Emma, AMA's
own am.

Speaker 3 (02:08:04):
I have a great time. Okay, thank you so much.
I love you, We love you so much, Love you too,
Emma from Lavonia with us.

Speaker 11 (02:08:13):
This morning, someone who probably still lives with his mother.

Speaker 3 (02:08:16):
And oh hell this wrong? Emma?

Speaker 10 (02:08:21):
From there you go, I don't know why they're thinking.
By the way, I've had a couple of drinks. Yeah,
we're drinking.

Speaker 3 (02:08:30):
What are we drinking? What are you drinking?

Speaker 11 (02:08:31):
So I'm drinking? Do you have your head? Poppy? I
love alcohol? I added vodka.

Speaker 3 (02:08:39):
What I'm sorry, Poppy is from troll.

Speaker 17 (02:08:41):
I'm drinking a finished drink called long drinks those I
love long drinks.

Speaker 3 (02:08:46):
All right, I want to ask question. Who's this on
the phone with us Mojo on the morning?

Speaker 14 (02:08:49):
Hello?

Speaker 3 (02:08:51):
Hello, Hi? What's your name? Hate Nicole?

Speaker 10 (02:08:57):
If you are out at a restaurant and you're there
just with a friend or family member, and you notice
over at a table one of your girlfriends is on
a date, like Shannon did with KP, do you say
something or do you completely ignore it?

Speaker 3 (02:09:13):
Not ruin the game.

Speaker 20 (02:09:16):
Completely ignore it for her.

Speaker 3 (02:09:18):
Yeah, So do you think Shannon Shannon sent in a
text was a good thing, or was that a bad thing?

Speaker 11 (02:09:27):
I wanted to acknowledge that I saw her in case
she saw me and was like she was rude for
not coming over.

Speaker 10 (02:09:32):
And saying Hi, Right, No, I would you wouldn't have
you would have kept it quiet and then said something
like this morning maybe right exactly. Yeah, I wouldn't want
to put the pressure on him, because my fear would
be that if the date goes wrong. She now blames
Shannon for the fact that she couldn't focus the.

Speaker 11 (02:09:51):
Rest as really, you are so wrong. If the date
is going wrong, she could look down and see that
I was right there and just come join hanging out
the table of really fun girls.

Speaker 7 (02:09:59):
Right.

Speaker 42 (02:10:00):
I'm honestly more afraid of my just like skills of
seeing people in public, Like I didn't even see she
in in there. That's what scares me more that I
see every single day was sitting right across from me,
and I didn't even see.

Speaker 11 (02:10:11):
Yeah, we were literally sitting. We were the biggest table
in the restaurant.

Speaker 3 (02:10:14):
That's just how good the day was. I guess the
stars what happened to Elena?

Speaker 2 (02:10:20):
Hi?

Speaker 35 (02:10:20):
So, I work at a mental health clinic in Deerborn,
and me and my co worker actually went to uh
Jay's brew House at Taylor and we were sitting at
the bar, you know, having a couple of drinks, getting
pretty buzzed, and I look across the bar and they're
sitting one of my patients on a date.

Speaker 3 (02:10:43):
A mental health hospital.

Speaker 2 (02:10:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 35 (02:10:46):
I hit my coworker and I'm like, oh my gosh,
I'm like, we have to get out of here.

Speaker 19 (02:10:52):
Yeah, I can't.

Speaker 35 (02:10:53):
I don't want her to see me.

Speaker 12 (02:10:54):
I'm you know what, though, this is actually good because
if she needs a therapist, she can go. Hey, my
therapist is right down there at the into the bar right.

Speaker 35 (02:11:01):
Let me let me ask her.

Speaker 20 (02:11:02):
She sitting right right over there.

Speaker 3 (02:11:04):
I think KP would be interesting to watch on a date.
I bet you. It's a little awkward.

Speaker 11 (02:11:09):
Yes, I truly don't know, because I was sitting with
my back to her, so I saw her when I
was coming in, But then I was sitting like she
couldn't you know, I couldn't just watch them the whole time,
which I.

Speaker 42 (02:11:19):
Did strategically because I didn't answer text, I didn't later,
so I'm very present and in the moment.

Speaker 3 (02:11:26):
Yeah, that's good, that's good.

Speaker 10 (02:11:28):
I actually have thought numerous times if I saw Megan,
you or Lydia out on a date that I would
probably walk over and go, you bet you're cheating on everything.

Speaker 3 (02:11:41):
I would die.

Speaker 11 (02:11:44):
Mojo k p a video and she let me get
a quick photo for Instagram.

Speaker 3 (02:11:52):
Hold on, are you that my I sound like? Do
I sound like that?

Speaker 7 (02:11:56):
Let's put it on the story.

Speaker 3 (02:12:00):
Channel in can I have you make sure? By the way,
let's let's collaborate with both stations.

Speaker 7 (02:12:05):
It would be great.

Speaker 42 (02:12:06):
Sorry one second, Chelsea, my wife is facetiming.

Speaker 3 (02:12:08):
Real what's up Trina? How you doing?

Speaker 28 (02:12:13):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (02:12:14):
Hey, Hey, what's up Trina?

Speaker 25 (02:12:18):
Yet?

Speaker 20 (02:12:18):
I think if I was out in probably at a restaurant,
and I saw someone at a different table that I
just noticed, I would just wave that though.

Speaker 10 (02:12:28):
Yeah, you wouldn't say anything at all. What if you
saw somebody and they were cheating, would you say anything?

Speaker 20 (02:12:36):
No, that is the wrong time to approach. Somebody might
get clapped right.

Speaker 7 (02:12:41):
Yeah, So this has happened to me a few times
on dates.

Speaker 17 (02:12:44):
I love it because it's a great like conversation starter. Yeah,
you can bring in somebody here or explain it and
then talk about like it's happened to me twice with
my family so my cousin has run into me on
two different first dates. And I love it because it's
a way to bring in like, oh, I'm really close
with my family, are you? It's like a great conversation starter.

Speaker 3 (02:13:03):
I would actually walk up to the table and I'd
be like, she grab you under the table. Yet, you
know I got missmit Victor with his opinion or what
would you do? Victor?

Speaker 4 (02:13:15):
Hey, sorry, guys, I missed the beginning of the show.
I was listening to Scream and Scott over on Yes.

Speaker 10 (02:13:22):
By the way, how did scream and Scott beat Meghan
yesterday with the bell ringing thing?

Speaker 3 (02:13:26):
I don't even know who the else screaming Scott is.
That's crazy.

Speaker 10 (02:13:29):
Screaming Scott got more publicity with the mention on our
show with the Salvation Army people.

Speaker 3 (02:13:35):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 4 (02:13:36):
I have a question for KP. Yes, after the date,
did you ask to use his bathroom?

Speaker 5 (02:13:44):
No?

Speaker 7 (02:13:45):
I'm all right with using public restrooms.

Speaker 10 (02:13:47):
I'm telling you that's a way to get into somebody's part.
Did you go back to his place or your place?

Speaker 14 (02:13:52):
No?

Speaker 7 (02:13:52):
He went back to where he came from.

Speaker 43 (02:13:55):
I went to bed he came and wait and where
did he come from. I don't know his mother's probably
did you give at the end of No, really, no, we.

Speaker 7 (02:14:06):
Didn't do anything. I don't believe you.

Speaker 11 (02:14:09):
Shandon's not good at giving details.

Speaker 42 (02:14:11):
He's not blonde, he's a brunette's I wasn't.

Speaker 11 (02:14:15):
Sitting there steering.

Speaker 7 (02:14:18):
Take notes next time, Shannon, We'll just take.

Speaker 3 (02:14:20):
A picture when we come back here.

Speaker 10 (02:14:22):
Next to breaking then entering Christmas wish and rumor has
it the police are not happy with us, so coming
up in a second, wake, h we got a big surprise.

Speaker 3 (02:14:31):
What's up?

Speaker 16 (02:14:33):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (02:14:33):
Be nice to everybody. You never know who your secret
Santa is. This is Mocho in the morning.

Speaker 3 (02:14:44):
I don't like this. They told me that we have
a surprise coming in here.

Speaker 10 (02:14:49):
And then when I called the security to find out
who was here, because nobody would tell me, Lydia and
Zach would were being very quiet security here.

Speaker 3 (02:14:58):
They come.

Speaker 12 (02:15:00):
Here a second, what are you guys doing? Come on,
I gotta be with my family this holiday season.

Speaker 3 (02:15:10):
I don't need any of this. Welsome. Oh my god,
hold on a second. Oh, I got to arrest.

Speaker 27 (02:15:15):
They just hated me.

Speaker 12 (02:15:16):
In an arrest warrant, it says arrest warrant Mojo conspiring
to commit breaking and entering crime.

Speaker 10 (02:15:24):
Hello, Oh officer Nick Cos Oh my god, wait to
say line? Are the wait to sing? Are these Warren
Police officers? You're out of your jurisdiction.

Speaker 3 (02:15:38):
You can't come here. This is the truit.

Speaker 10 (02:15:40):
You know the Detroit Police Department would not hear. Are
you the spokesperson right here? Come on, bear sitting in
that chair, Get in front of that microphone. This is
where I actually interrogate you.

Speaker 7 (02:15:51):
The main mugging coming in. Did genuinely get.

Speaker 10 (02:15:54):
Guys scared the crap out of me? First off, what
is your name? My name is Lieutenant, I ask you
with the Warren Police Department. Lieutenant, I need to get
out of jail free card. I drive through Warren off
and I need to know if I can actually every
occasionally be over like seven miles an hour.

Speaker 3 (02:16:07):
Is that okay? Give us your plate, We'll take care
of it. I'm afraid to give him my plate.

Speaker 10 (02:16:14):
We did a breaking entering Christmas wish for Nick Cott
in Holly and the great family in Jack. Actually, to
be quite honest with you, get teared up when I
think about this. That is our most viewed of all
of the wishes. That we had and Holly was by
far so appreciative of that.

Speaker 11 (02:16:36):
And what I want to remind listeners too, this is
this is Nick who injured was injured in a hunting accident.
If you remember that wish from a couple of days ago.

Speaker 3 (02:16:43):
He's a great cop.

Speaker 10 (02:16:44):
We had we had worn uh you know, residents that
were contacting us saying that they came in contact with
him through his time there. And then his wife, Holly
is a teacher over in Waterford, so many people that
were touched by her. So what's happening with you guys?
What's going How are you guys holding up with with this?
This is gonna be tough for you guys.

Speaker 4 (02:17:04):
You know it is tough.

Speaker 41 (02:17:07):
But because of you and all your efforts, this is
why we're here. We're here to say thank you. What
you guys did was over the moon. You guys went
above and beyond form one of our on as police
officers were really good at responding to other people's emergencies,
but when it's one of our own, it's a gut check.
And I was watching the Facebook stream of the event

(02:17:30):
at Nick's house from you guys did the BENI.

Speaker 3 (02:17:32):
By the way, he's a cop. You can cause it
an event exactly, you guys, Break March is still valid.

Speaker 41 (02:17:43):
And I can tell you everybody in this room, everybody
in the station, there was hardly a dry eye. What
you guys did for Jack was amazing. The presence were
over the top, but the heart and soul of it
was the wheelchair lift.

Speaker 14 (02:17:59):
That.

Speaker 41 (02:18:00):
Uh, there was some clean nice going around the station.
I'll be the first one to say it. So that's
why we're here. We're here to say thank you. It's
something that meant the world to us, and it just
around the holidays. It added some extra special brought the
mayor here because it was.

Speaker 3 (02:18:18):
So where's the mayor?

Speaker 20 (02:18:19):
The mayor.

Speaker 3 (02:18:22):
Finally a mayor and the Simpsons mayor is gone.

Speaker 28 (02:18:31):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (02:18:32):
That's awesome. That's great, great mayor. What is your name?

Speaker 2 (02:18:35):
Mayor?

Speaker 10 (02:18:35):
I'm sorry, nice, nice to see you. Congratulations to you.
That that was actually that was very you know when
the cops like you, mayor, that's actually pretty good, right.
I mean I live in West Bloomfield and sometimes you go, oh,
do you like your uh, you know, supervisor and all
the rest of that stuff. But that's that's that's pretty cool.
I know that you guys, we got to pray for
for Nick. We got to pray for a miracle for

(02:18:57):
this guy, and I believe. And he's you know what
kind of an officer he is? What kind of a
kind of a copy is? He's a tough son of
a bitch, isn't he he is?

Speaker 41 (02:19:06):
You know, Nick hired in five months after me. We
spent a lot of nights in the squad car together.
And uh, he's currently you know, uh stolen critical condition
and the ob hospital fighting.

Speaker 14 (02:19:16):
Uh.

Speaker 41 (02:19:17):
His wife is not left aside and his warrant p
D family hasn't left aside either, and we don't plan
on it. As you can see here, everybody who came
here today in some way or another worked with Nick.
We knew officer Nick, but we knew Nick the husband
and the father. And again that's what makes what you
guys did so extra special. And that's why we had

(02:19:38):
to come here, Uh, complete with the restaurants and some tradition,
some traditional cop food courtesy of Duncan jnot.

Speaker 7 (02:19:47):
But I want to know what judge signed off on this?

Speaker 3 (02:19:49):
Yeah, you can only be explained to court.

Speaker 10 (02:19:54):
Holly and Nick are they're away battling right now they're
at the best of the best hospitals with the best
of the best treatment. Jack is with Grandma and Grandpa,
and just keep these guys in your prayers. We hope
for a miracle, and I will tell you that there's
chances that there is going to be a miracle. I mean,
we had docs that told us that there's there's very

(02:20:15):
good chances. And obviously what we were did is a
small portion of this. We wish that we never had
to do this, but we love those that serve and
protect us. Man and you guys put your lives on
the line every single day. So thank you for what
you're you're doing this morning. Thanks for coming in studio.
Merry Christmas to you. Be safe over these next few weeks.

(02:20:36):
I know it gets crazy out there, doesn't it.

Speaker 27 (02:20:37):
It does.

Speaker 41 (02:20:38):
This is a special time a year and more ways
than one.

Speaker 3 (02:20:41):
Don't give us a breathalyzer test now because we've been
drinking since.

Speaker 25 (02:20:47):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (02:20:47):
Hold on? A second? Hold on right up to the microphone.

Speaker 44 (02:20:50):
Mayor is my privilege to offer a proclamation, and so
this morning I've brought a mayor all proclamation honoring Mojo
in the mornings, Wow and entering where is This holiday

shown immense generosity and kindness by supporting families in need
during the holiday collecting donations from the local community to
bring joy and relief to those experiencing misfortune. Whereas Officer

his side at an out of state hospital, while their
son Jack, must spund the holidays separated from his parents,
a heart wrenching situation for any family, particularly during this

(02:21:57):
time of year. And Whereas this year, Mojo in the
Morning has chosen to grant the Breaking and Entering Christmas
Wish to Nick Cott and his family, recognizing a profound
challenge they are facing, and offering the warmth and love
of a community during.

Officer Nick Cott and his family. Let it be known
that their selfless efforts and the spirit of giving they
embody are the inspiration to all of us, fostering a
sense of togetherness and reinforcing the values of generosity and
goodwill in our city.

Speaker 3 (02:22:52):
Wow, that's incredible. That's incredible.

Speaker 10 (02:22:56):
Warren is verst of Warren is the what is it
the third largest city in the state of Michigan. It's
amazing yesterday and is the number one listening area of
I'm not.

Speaker 11 (02:23:09):
Kidding, year after year after year after year, never fails.

Speaker 10 (02:23:12):
So you have lots of residents that that like to
listen to Channel nine five five and Detroit. That means seriously,
the most of us. The best is Nick getting up
out of that chair and uh and out of that
bed and and he and Holly and Jack together so we.

Speaker 3 (02:23:30):
Love you guys. We love Warren. Yeah, it's good.

Speaker 11 (02:23:33):
People, get on your way up for the key to
the city, because he's never gotten one.

Speaker 7 (02:23:39):
So I'm just preparing you for.

Speaker 11 (02:23:40):
That ask as you made.

Speaker 10 (02:23:42):
Can I tell you today we did a town tour
back in the day, back in the day, and your
at hall and your predecessor there wasn't it. And he
thought I was trying to get him to commit a crime.
And he thought I was wired by the by local forrs. No,
what was the guy Steve what was the guy's name
from Channel seven? And the big fat reporter that was

(02:24:02):
Steve whatever the hecky's name was. He asked me if
I was wired. I go, I have no idea what
the hell you're talking about? But no, but I would
be if I needed to be. We love you guys
so much. Warren's a great place. U. Nick Cott is
an amazing hero man. That guy's a freaking hero. And
there's nothing better than uh miles over here holding uh

(02:24:22):
holding some donuts. By the way, I gotta tell you,
I wanted to be a cop so bad, Like I'm
a wanta cop like I am seriously, and that Mike
Bouchard put me on as like a counseol thing that
it does and it gives me a badge.

Speaker 3 (02:24:36):
All I want to do is have a badge.

Speaker 20 (02:24:38):
Have you done?

Speaker 24 (02:24:39):
Have you done?

Speaker 3 (02:24:40):
I've done it. I'd love to do it with Warren.
I would love to do it the way we should
all do it as a show. That would be fun.

Speaker 10 (02:24:46):
Actually would be great Christmas wish if we did a
ride along and granted wishes for residents that were and broad.

Speaker 3 (02:24:51):
Food to them.

Speaker 10 (02:24:52):
We should do that sometimes. Absolutely all right, thank you
guys so much. We'll brack with more next.

Speaker 1 (02:24:57):
Did you make it to Channel nine five to five
the legendary concert which has become a Detroit tradition, and
one person went home with a brand new twenty twenty
four can you tell you right?

Speaker 2 (02:25:06):
It takes you Tanya in some plays Ki twenty twenty
