Speaker 1 (00:01):
Mojo.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
Think God, let me take you back to the beginning.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
You're a dood do heck? We all right, it is
Mojo in the Morning. It's funny. I thought all the
birds flew south, but I feel like the birds are
still here for some reason. Maybe it was we had
like a weird time. What birds were talking about? Well
did you hear about it? And I saw, oh, what
(00:40):
do you call it? And that one's not going anywhere? Detroit?
What is it? I got one to what it's like
Detroit stray or what is it? Detroite pets.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Yeah. I was walking to the coffee shop yesterday and
the pigeons are out and I hate them. But amongst
the pigeons eating on the sidewalk was this, right. I
thought it was a parrot, but I sent a picture
to my friend. They said it was a parakeet. But
how is the parakeet outside right now? I'm like, is
this somebody's pet that escaped their house? Like, no, it
(01:12):
was This is not a bird I've ever seen in Detroit,
and I see a lot of birds in Detroit, usually pigeons,
but this was a lime green. Literally that that's when
I saw flying around the trees and eating the food
off the sidewalks like it was a pigeon. So then
I started wondering, like did a pet escape.
Speaker 5 (01:30):
Or did a mom get fed up and it died.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
There's no way it's surviving the winter. That thing needs
to fly south.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
What's the difference between a parrot and a parakeet?
Speaker 4 (01:42):
A parakeet's little. A parrot is like, I guess big.
Speaker 1 (01:45):
Does one of them talk? Doesn't one of them talk?
Speaker 6 (01:48):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:48):
I think the part isn't it parrot? Because the parrot
imitates you or something probably wants a cracker is a pear?
I think? So it's well, it's interesting because all I
keep thinking of the whole time is like I don't know,
the lion king or something where you know how it's
it's like an animal. It's like an animal that doesn't
(02:10):
look like everybody else, but like hangs out with everybody.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
He was cosplaying a pigeon for sure.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Like he's hanging with the pigeons thinking he's a pigeon.
He was raised by pigeon, but he's really not a pigeon. Yeah,
he's like.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
I've seen crazy animals in Detroit. If we're going in
that traction with the topic, like I've seen people riding
horses down the street, which you would never expect in
the city of Detroit. I've seen like a cow trotting
on the side of the road on the east side.
There's just some crazy.
Speaker 5 (02:38):
Escaped from the place across the streets.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
Here in the video.
Speaker 4 (02:41):
I've seen a guy like riding around like a cherriot
in Detroit. Or there's people with goats. There's just some
crazy animals out here.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
Well remember there, Remember the alligator wasn't there Like that
was like, well, there was one in Belle Isle, and
then there was one of the lady had.
Speaker 5 (03:00):
In her son's bedroom.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
There was Yeah, there was like one up there. I said,
how big is huge? She said, ah, it's big. I said, okay,
is it his bedroom? She said, yeah, it's up the stairs. Yeah,
the guy had to go out there and get the thing.
People have weird fetishes with animals, Like there's some kind
of a thing. I feel like it. I feel like
weird animals came into play when everybody in the world
(03:23):
started getting tattoos. Really yeah, like I feel like, you know,
everybody all of a sudden, and then weed started becoming
legal and stuff like we you didn't have to hide
your weed like I feel like, I feel like all
of a sudden because I feel like twenty years ago
you didn't see like a guy with an alligator and
it's okay.
Speaker 5 (03:41):
So growing up on gros Seal, I used to go
to Catechism at Sacred Heart Church and there was a
playground in the very very back of the church like yard,
and we would play back there, and there was a
house on the other side of the fence and they
had a peacock in their backyard as a pet.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Ack like want like the thing that's NBC.
Speaker 5 (04:02):
Yes, walk around the Detroit Zoo peacock, but like as
a pet. But that was so weird.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
But a peacock is pretty Alligators.
Speaker 5 (04:12):
What are you watching with your peacock?
Speaker 1 (04:16):
The closest thing that I don't know?
Speaker 8 (04:18):
It might not even be crazy, but I would get
a tank of piranhas to like watch them tear stuff
upt barbaric.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
That that's me. That you're the kid that used to
try to light things on fire with.
Speaker 8 (04:33):
Me with maybe maybe not Purana seems like a cool pet.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
I'm sure anything you want. I don't know about that.
You can't study that.
Speaker 4 (04:46):
Raccoons are becoming more domesticating, are going to be having
the mess pets soon.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Where are the weirdos at there listening to the show?
Where are the where are the people at that have?
Speaker 9 (04:58):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (04:59):
These animals? These full of constrictions.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
That's not a weird one people always.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
Have that is weird for me. You're weird if you
have a big snake like that.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Oh on a second, there's a video. This is a
video that I saw on one of the news stations.
I think this is Sarasota, Florida, which everybody weird is
in Florida too, Florida.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Man.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
This is this is called it's called sealeda Alligator. Deputies
relocated a six hundred pound alligator. So there was a
six hundred pound alligator that got loose from the swamp.
And could you imagine you were a cop and you
had to go on a call.
Speaker 10 (05:37):
Bought on camera seven Sarasota County Sheriff's deputies working with
a trapper to corral a loose gator. And not just
any gator.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Check this out.
Speaker 10 (05:46):
This was fourteen feet long, six hundred pounds.
Speaker 5 (05:50):
Once they got it on board.
Speaker 10 (05:51):
They took it to an alligator farm where they say
they released it.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Boy, that was a big guy.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
That's a bullgator yea yeah.
Speaker 11 (05:59):
And I'm seeing a lot of gators in these ponds,
like in these ponds, and then there's people going and
standing in these like like you know, can you imagine
you have a pondh No.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
And they sneak up on you. And like you're talking
about with Belle Isle, you know, heaters get quick with
them little leagues. There may be like, yeah, they.
Speaker 12 (06:18):
Go fast, man, but they yeah, yeah, that is exactly
I think that's false.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
No part of Google's Okay, chat EPT, do you have
time to chat? EPT? You see eight for four Mojo
Live eight four four six six five six five four
eight is our telephone number, Jamie. What's going on?
Speaker 13 (06:41):
Hey boss?
Speaker 6 (06:41):
Yeah, my uncle Jimmy uh had an albino crocodile in
his in his living room.
Speaker 1 (06:47):
An albino crocodile.
Speaker 14 (06:50):
Yeah, her name is Snowball and she's a good six
feet that's one.
Speaker 15 (06:54):
Hundred and thirty eight pounds.
Speaker 1 (06:55):
Where does Jimmy live?
Speaker 14 (06:57):
He lived in a born god alligator.
Speaker 1 (07:02):
Why does that not surprise me that there's somebody in
Warren with a albino crocodile, Like.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Don't you feel bad at that point?
Speaker 1 (07:11):
Did we mean?
Speaker 14 (07:12):
Does that I did it first? But it's she's doing good.
Speaker 16 (07:17):
She's a big, healthy crocodile.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
How would you like to be the Comcast guy that's
coming to fix the guy's Wi Fi and walks in
in the house, and you know how they always they
always put their little booties on, and they're used to
looking at little puppies like you know Shannon and I have,
and they got an albino crocodile. I would say, there's
no way I'm out of there at that time. Thanks James,
(07:39):
I appreciated.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
Buddy, Like you should be allowed to have those.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Uh, Brody, what do you have?
Speaker 17 (07:46):
I have a pet Boa constructor?
Speaker 18 (07:48):
Here you go here?
Speaker 19 (07:50):
You know?
Speaker 20 (07:52):
And I know people that I went to high school
with their parents had two pet alligators.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Oh my god, Brodie, how many tattoos do you.
Speaker 20 (08:03):
Have that dude that my girlfriend has twenty two?
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Oh my god, I'm telling you. And do you guys
do you guys have butt secks a lot? I'm telling you.
The people that have the people that have Boa constrictors,
they they didn't don't do a missionary. What's up, Michael?
(08:30):
How you doing, Michael?
Speaker 21 (08:32):
I'm doing all right.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
What's going on?
Speaker 22 (08:34):
I had not a lot first time, long time, Michael.
Speaker 1 (08:40):
What's happening?
Speaker 22 (08:42):
And that a whole lot. I was listening in the
segment here and I actually used to own a raccoon.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Did you did you buy this? I mean you capture it?
Speaker 22 (08:52):
No, we captured. I used to live in Hudson, Michigan,
small farm. We were stacking hay up in the barn
and the mom of being to know we found one baby,
took it in and believe it or not, Mojo. They're
just like the cat we had this cat. It was
litter trained and everything.
Speaker 5 (09:10):
How long did it live?
Speaker 22 (09:12):
Well, it got to about two and a half and
as she got older, she got ornery and we kind
of kicked her out of the house as like a teenager,
Hey you gotta go. Well, no, she didn't let us.
She stay around. She came back every night and morning
for food, and so we ended up caring for Unfortunately.
I do think she ended up getting hit out on
the side of the road.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
But what was her name?
Speaker 14 (09:34):
Sally?
Speaker 1 (09:35):
Sally rip Sally definitely, But I just got a text
from Evelyn who sent me a text. And this is
her pet right here. She puts like bows in its hair.
Speaker 22 (09:52):
We'd be sitting there playing video games on the couch
and it'd come up, lay its head right there on
your shoulder and fall asleep.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Just who were you feeding it?
Speaker 6 (10:01):
Uh?
Speaker 22 (10:01):
Cat food and random scraps everything. Yeah, yeah, they're trash bandits.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
I think I don't want to go over to your house, Michael.
I really don't know.
Speaker 22 (10:13):
Now, I just have two dogs in a cat.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Okay, what do you think he bring it up the public,
would you like? By the way, Texture here says they
have skunks for pets. Uh. Nick's family friend has what
for a pet.
Speaker 20 (10:28):
It is a half wolf and half German.
Speaker 14 (10:32):
Shepherds at that house.
Speaker 23 (10:36):
DNA tested like he would seed.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
It meat d n A testing.
Speaker 16 (10:44):
It is nasty.
Speaker 12 (10:46):
Like.
Speaker 15 (10:47):
He lives on the east side of Toledo, so yeah side, you.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Know, you know, the east side, the east side of Toledo.
Those people, Well, thank you for the call, Nick, I
appreciate it all. By the way, and a single if
any of these people that haven't have.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Tattoos, and I will accept a raccoon as a.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
And she's from White Lake, Michigan. You know they get
weird out there.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
I've seen your Facebook status. You're getting a dictionary for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (11:18):
In the Morning. It's time for more Mojo.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
Mojo in the Morning, Mojo in the Morning Show. I
want to talk about the worst Christmas gift with Cavin. Yeah,
what's the what's the worst Christmas gift? I've gotten some
some terrible Christmas gifts. But I was talking to a
homeie yesterday and it's the season. He's married. He's he's
been married for several years. This isn't a new relationship.
(11:42):
So I think some some couples get past the let
me impress you stage, you know what I mean, Like
I'm not I'm no longer trying to impress you with
lavish gifts.
Speaker 8 (11:51):
And he's, I guess, at a point where he's thinking
more necessities. And he told me that he's going to
get his wife some new tires, no tired, no ted.
So and they don't surprise each other like they kind
of tell each other kind of this is what I'm
going to get you. And she doesn't believe that the
tires should be they're a good gift.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
It's a nice thing that she needs. It's not a
Christmas gift though, you know what, it's the gift that
keeps on giving. Every time you get in that car,
they rotate.
Speaker 4 (12:20):
If you're my man, you need to be taking care
of my car. So you're saying that that's just something.
Speaker 1 (12:25):
That's just something that like, let me ask you this, Anna,
if you don't like tires, do you agree with my
wife Chelsea? And the worst gift I ever gave her
was a few years back when I gave her a roomba.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Oh she doesn't vacuum enough.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
No, I wanted her not to vacuum. I was, all right,
I do a favor. Eight four four Mojo Live. I
want to hear the worst Christmas gift that your man
got for you, or your kids got for you, or
you got for somebody. Kiki, real quick, I want to
give you tickets you're going to jingle Ball. Congratulate Ki.
Speaker 24 (12:57):
Ki.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
We're gonna set you up with those tickets real quick. Kiki,
what's the worst gift that you've ever gotten for Christmas?
Everybody's gotten a bad gift in their life.
Speaker 25 (13:09):
I wanna say socks.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Socks practical unless they're Bombas. I don't want any other
I want the fancy socks, you know what I mean,
like the ones that are comfortable. By the way, those
Bomba socks. Does anybody ever return the dead socks? Just
(13:35):
doesn't work?
Speaker 5 (13:36):
Okay, So I'm not joking. I did this two weeks ago.
Bombas is a brand where if they get holes in
them or whatever, you can request on the website for
them to send you new ones. They basically tell you
keep the holy ones and they'll send you a brand
new eight pack or whatever. Whatever your previous order was,
they send you the same thing. Do you have to
upload sanity? Nope, I'm going to you know, Can I.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
Be honest with you? They're the most comfortable sockers. My
only problem with with the Bombas my son Luke steals
all my Bombas. He steals my Bombas and my Stance socks,
and he leaves in in there the Amazon socks that
I have, or the or the Fruit of the Looms
or whatever they are. You know, Like there's some Bombas
for Christmas. Joanne, what's the worst gift that you ever got?
Speaker 14 (14:22):
Well, it wasn't actually the worst.
Speaker 26 (14:24):
It was my husband at the time.
Speaker 17 (14:26):
Like thirty years ago, bought me a coat.
Speaker 27 (14:29):
On my charge card and the church came in before Christmas.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
You bought the coat.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
Did you like the coat?
Speaker 13 (14:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:40):
I learned to like it.
Speaker 5 (14:42):
You did not like?
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Uh, she needa, what's happening.
Speaker 25 (14:49):
Man Ozo.
Speaker 28 (14:50):
One year, my daughter got me so good.
Speaker 29 (14:52):
She got me like a fitting pack of black fruit
of ballom sock.
Speaker 25 (14:56):
But the worst part about it was she like packed.
Speaker 28 (14:59):
It in like a Pandor.
Speaker 25 (15:03):
Yeah, from the Pandora the Loo. And she was like,
you said, you need a sock.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
I need to do that. I need to do that.
I need to get myself like a box from Louis
Vatan and uh and I need to like pack in
there for Chelsea something like socks. Yeah. Or paper everybody
needs toilet paper. What's up, Gabe? What are you doing?
Speaker 21 (15:32):
What's up?
Speaker 9 (15:33):
Mojo?
Speaker 1 (15:33):
Nothing much?
Speaker 22 (15:34):
Man?
Speaker 1 (15:34):
We're talking about this guy that keV uh ran into
that bought tires for his girl.
Speaker 30 (15:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (15:41):
So one year I was it was a rough year,
you know, pop kind of tight.
Speaker 23 (15:46):
I feel bad about it, but I bought my mama calendar.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
Did you at least personalized photos of yourself?
Speaker 31 (15:55):
No?
Speaker 16 (15:55):
It was Bible scriptures in it.
Speaker 23 (15:57):
And then I didn't even realize it.
Speaker 22 (15:59):
But it was for that year, so it was the
end of the year.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
What does she say?
Speaker 23 (16:06):
She just goes, oh, it's a calendar, and I was like, oh, yeah,
I thought you might need that.
Speaker 16 (16:13):
You know what funny?
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Does anybody use calendars anymore? Because I still love calendars?
I love you. You do not have a physical calendar anywhere.
I loved like the calendar with pictures and stuff on them,
love on air. You don't currently like calendar? No, I
thought nobody ever, but it's nice to have, you know,
it's nice.
Speaker 5 (16:31):
Always get my dad one with like the kids, and
he doesn't in his kitchen. Yeah yeah, So.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Don't don't be making funny calendar. You don't have calendars though,
you big dick. Well all that Kg's on the phone,
Calv's best bud, what's going on? Or J? Why say KG?
CAGJ bro? What's up?
Speaker 16 (16:53):
JJ going on?
Speaker 23 (16:54):
What's going on? So I have to purface this with
I love my wife. She's a phenomenal like he does.
You know how you share TikTok shop stuff and Instagram videos.
It was like a shampoo conditioning sulf Oh this is great,
Like we shoud this in the house. It was my
Christmas gift one year, and I was just like, oh,
like great, like it's so it's great though, Like it's phenomenal.
(17:19):
My hair feels amazing. That's not a Christmas you know,
it's like.
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Thinking about you. It is funny though, because if you
can buy it at CVS or Walgreens or you know whatever,
I mean, is it definitely something that you give as
a Christmas gift? Like can you go really like to
a s.
Speaker 5 (17:40):
Okay there as now? Ye, makincare area is amazing.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Is that a stocking stuffer or is that a gift?
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Well, it depends on what it is. To be honest
with you, I don't know what.
Speaker 8 (17:53):
Do you mean like price or or with or wait,
like what do you mean? Yeah you guys?
Speaker 1 (18:01):
Why shampoos? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (18:04):
Yeah, Like I'm not putting that in a stocking. I
don't know. Some of that so expensive.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
JJ, have a great day, buddy.
Speaker 23 (18:11):
Absolutely you guys are doing.
Speaker 1 (18:12):
I don't care about pulling up the jingle book. I
love that's biggest fan right there? Hold on, Cheff are
you there? Jeff? Hi? What what did you get for Christmas?
Speaker 22 (18:24):
Ah?
Speaker 20 (18:25):
Well, all the years growing up I always wanted to PlayStation,
and uh I got off on Christmas morning was convinced
this box was a PlayStation. I saved it till my
last gift to open and it ended up being a
twelve and one like Chess, Checkers and back, and uh
I was so upset. I just wanted to PlayStation.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I know that that actually is so funny too, when
you think that it is something, you open enough and
you're like, oh you have to act happy.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Oh yeah, did you ever buy yourself that PlayStation?
Speaker 20 (19:00):
Not the original one? I mean I ended up getting
PlayStation later on, but uh, I've never owned the original PlayStation.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Well you know, uh Den there, Yeah, I'm here. What's
going on, buddy?
Speaker 13 (19:15):
First time?
Speaker 1 (19:15):
One time.
Speaker 17 (19:21):
Dude? So this is probably a five years ago. I said,
there's Christmas cap that got for my brother in law.
Speaker 31 (19:28):
He said he was cleaning it out to the house and
he can but going through all his US.
Speaker 32 (19:33):
CDs to all his youth CDs that he didn't want
anymore in a milk crate, put in a bag and gave.
Speaker 15 (19:40):
It to me for Christmas.
Speaker 5 (19:43):
What did you do with that after you opened it?
Speaker 14 (19:46):
I brought it right to Goodwill?
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Yeah, you know what's funny though, is that they like
vinyls obviously a deal right now. VHS tapes they say
are worth money. CDs are going to come back one day,
like there's going to be a time everything comes back
and people then all of a sudden want them. And
then if you've got like really good clean copies of
some of these, like they were throwing away all the
(20:08):
crap from the old radio station, I'm telling somebody's making
money off that.
Speaker 22 (20:13):
You know.
Speaker 1 (20:13):
You got to keep the little pampling inside though, with
all the artwork and all the details. That's what matters.
Speaker 5 (20:19):
The song lyrics.
Speaker 1 (20:20):
Yeah, what would you do if your man got you
what Marie's X got her? Marie there?
Speaker 15 (20:29):
Hell, Hi.
Speaker 1 (20:33):
On the phone, what's going on?
Speaker 33 (20:37):
Hey?
Speaker 30 (20:38):
I had to call in when I heard what you
were asking your listeners to phone in about. And my
one Christmas gave me a low fat Italian cookbook and
a scale. That was his way of letting me know
I needed to lose.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
What's that is that? The he's your X now? Because
it should be. It was one of these one of
the reasons.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
There's probably a list of about twenty five things that
are the reasons the way it over, there's a number
of things.
Speaker 30 (21:11):
I'm not perfect, but I wouldn't do that.
Speaker 1 (21:14):
I love you, Marie. That's did you use the cookbook?
Speaker 34 (21:17):
Be honest, No, I gave it away to a book.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
Drive, did you. Okay? That's that is interesting. It's like, uh,
he's basically telling you this and giving you a scale.
I remember one year my brother was giving my sister
in law gym membership and it was to a nice
it was like Lifetime Fitness or something like that, and
he was given it to her as a gym membership,
and she was so excited and his kids were so appalled.
(21:46):
They were like, I cannot believe that you gave mom
a gym membership. But like, a membership to a gym
is not a Christmas gift. That is a thing that
you do for yourself. Depends on the gym really with you? Okay,
what are you talking about?
Speaker 4 (22:03):
One with massage chairs and stuff like that could be
worth it. I can see that, but if you're just
giving me, like the gym down the street for twenty bucks.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
What's up? How you doing, Jessica? Hi, what's up? How
you doing?
Speaker 21 (22:17):
I'm good?
Speaker 35 (22:18):
So my boss I'm convinced she hates me because my
five year old daughter is deaf, like profoundly deaf. She
basically just uses sign language, but she likes to perform.
And my daughter or my boss daughter a karaoke microphone.
Speaker 1 (22:31):
Okay, well maybe she.
Speaker 35 (22:34):
Looks like it's really cut, but it's so upious it's right.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Wait, so your boss got that for your daughter and
your did your daughter use it and make noises in it?
Or no?
Speaker 36 (22:43):
Oh?
Speaker 35 (22:44):
Well do you think she can sing? Yeah, it's like
the cutest thing, but it's she loves it.
Speaker 1 (22:48):
Thought understand, But you understand she could have got herself.
You understand Jessica's daughter's death, so she can't hear how
bad she sounds.
Speaker 37 (22:57):
Microphone that's adorable.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
She's in there singing like I sing.
Speaker 35 (23:02):
Probably see right, it's so sweet. I appreciate it.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
You don't get a blind person a camera.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
Blind person loved So.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
What about this? What about Stephanie? Stephanie, tell everybody your
worst gift you ever got.
Speaker 38 (23:23):
My worst gift was a lingerie set.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
From my mother in law, her mother in law.
Speaker 38 (23:33):
She was not even my mother in law at the time.
My husband and I've been together for fifteen years now,
we were just dating. I was eighteen years old. And
it was our first Christmas together and she asked for
grand babies.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
Oh my god, that is so awkward. I didn't know
if it was part of like that, like a bachelorette
party or something, which is still uncomfortable.
Speaker 39 (23:53):
I've been there, but they're uncomfortable around the whole family.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
Did you ever wear it?
Speaker 40 (24:01):
No?
Speaker 34 (24:01):
I threw it away very quickly.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Think hold something. Yeah, Merry Christmas.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Remember for Hypster Santa, you must leave out coconut water.
Speaker 1 (24:12):
And that's this year.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
Merry Christmas. From Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
It's time for more mojo.
Speaker 1 (24:17):
Mojo in the Morning, Right is Mojo in the Morning.
This is one of those situations where I have had
a surgical procedure done, or I've actually gone in for
a medical procedure, and I've always been amazed when they'll
ask you a million times your name, date of birth,
and then they'll ask you what is it that you're
getting done? And I always think that when they do
(24:38):
that to me, I'm They're trying to see if I'm
like fulling them or something or not the right person.
And then I hear this story and I realize, no,
they're trying to make sure they don't have a major
medical screw up. What happened?
Speaker 5 (24:49):
So I had to have a surgery last week. Dad,
If you are listening, I feel weird talking about this
on the art because my dad isn't even aware that
this is hap and he's a worry where I am fine.
I am going to be fine. Just turn off the
radio so I can call you later and talk to
you about it. But I had to have a biopsy
last week, excuse me, where they took several They were
(25:11):
going to take several tissue samples and send them away
to pathology or whatever. It was not a fun surgical
procedure whatsoever. And there were a lot of tests that
have led up to that point as well. You heard
me talking about this MRI. I was afraid of this
is all figuring into that. So this has been a process.
I have the biopsy, and then after the biopsy, a
(25:34):
couple of days later, I had to go back and
get an MRI to make sure that the place that
they buiop seed and they also put a marker in
there as well to kind of keep track of what
is going on in this area of my body. So
the MRI was to make sure that the place they
buiop seed and the place where they put the marker
matched up to the spot that was in question from
(25:56):
all of the other testing that I had had leading
up to this point. And I kept asking him like,
do I really need to get this done? Like this
is basically double checking the work that was done, and
my doctor and the nurses were like, yes, this is
standard procedure, we have to do this. I went in
for the MRI last week and I even made a
joke to the two MRI technicians, who are both listeners
(26:19):
by the way, Hi, I'm like, has it ever happened
that when you double check this that they actually did
the surgery in the wrong place And both of them
laughed it off and they're like, no, no, Well, I
guess I'm the first wow, because they did the they
did the biopsy and put the marker in the wrong place.
(26:43):
So now I am back at square one? Is that
not wild?
Speaker 1 (26:47):
Wow? So how did they did they find that out
when they went back in there again and did it
or what? Like? How did that? How did you find?
First off, who broke the news to you that that happened?
Speaker 16 (26:59):
Well?
Speaker 5 (26:59):
I it gets updated in like your medical charts are
all available online and a lot of the different hospital systems.
You get a little email saying, hey, you have an
update to your medical chart, and so I got that
and I went in and I read it and I'm like,
wait a second, I feel like I'm reading this wrong
because to me, they're saying that they the two don't
(27:22):
match up where they did the surgery and what they
were kind of focused on. And I'm like, there's no
way to the point where I put the results in
chat GPT and said what does this mean? And chat
GPT confirmed it was not right.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
It was done on the wrong spot.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
So then I sent it to a nurse friend of
mine and I said, am I reading this wrong? Am
I crazy? And She's like, nope, it was It's wrong.
How in the actual heck, how.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Do they f this up?
Speaker 8 (27:47):
And do they have a did they give you like,
this is what we did wrong, this is how we
messed up.
Speaker 1 (27:53):
What explanation can they provide?
Speaker 12 (27:55):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (27:55):
Well, the explanation is that it was wrong. Now I
have to figure out what to do moving forward, because
obviously I am not super trusting right of this particular place,
which I'm not going to say because.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
But wow, you know what's funny is. I've seen those
stories before and I've always wondered, are you okay?
Speaker 5 (28:22):
I am going to be fine? Yeah, thank you for asking. Yes,
I'm going to be fine. But I want to hear
the stories of like, well did they take off the
wrong toe for you? Make me feel better here.
Speaker 1 (28:35):
I've seen those stories where that has happened, and it
got It has gotten me to laugh whenever I've gone
in because I've gone in for shoulder surgery recently, I've
had knee surgery, I've had hard surgery, and I always
laugh when I've gone in for all of my surgeries.
Shout out Michigan Medisine. Love you guys. They'll come in
(28:57):
and they will pick a sharpie marker and go and
they'll literally they'll do the air you're getting and they'll
say to you and the thing of its chart for
what you know you're having your left shoulder, uh, you
know whatever, and they'll tell you and you go, yes,
I am, and they'll go, okay, that's what you know, right, yes, okay,
that's what I says here boom, and then they do
the thing right there. Because I don't know if the
(29:20):
left and the right get a little different. No, but
you know what I mean, Like they're doing so many
procedures and stuff and they don't want to screw it up.
But that's wildcanning the wrong tooth. Honestly, I would rather
have it be my tooth, like if I can choose anything.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
Yeah, and that was that was one of the things.
Speaker 4 (29:39):
Too.
Speaker 5 (29:39):
Well, now I'm like, oh gosh, I'm back at square one.
I don't have any answers. And also, this was not
a fun procedure to have, and I'm thinking, oh my god,
I am not doing that again.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
But I have to what did doctor Warner think when
that happened, because he obviously had to send you to
somebody else. Was he passed?
Speaker 5 (29:57):
Yeah, he's not.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
He's not happy. No, I can only imagine doctor Warren.
And by the way, I was the best doctor in
the whole entire world. One of the things I've always
realized with Mark and how great he is. He holds
us like where his family, you know, and he does
that with every one of his patients. I could just
see how upset he must have been when that happened.
What's up, Chaz? How you doing pretty good?
Speaker 16 (30:19):
How are you? Good morning?
Speaker 23 (30:21):
Everyone morning?
Speaker 1 (30:21):
What's going on? Buddy? We're talking about this, Uh, did
you get the wrong leg taken off? I mean, what's
the story.
Speaker 41 (30:29):
So I was talking with my mom a few years
ago and I was talking about the whole, like I
wonder if anybody's had a bad surgery or whatever, and
she's like, actually, your aunt went to go get operated
on and they did all the martians and whatnot on
her left knee, verified everything and whatnot. When she woke up,
her right knee was the one that was operated on.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
How did they see?
Speaker 16 (30:52):
I have absolutely no idea, but she did sue and
she ended up winning.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
So quick questions and when they go in there, don't
they notice that it's that it's normal like that can
tell you what you think?
Speaker 16 (31:05):
Like, honestly, I have no idea, And that has to
be like such a big screw up on somebody's part,
Like it's right in front of you. Open your eyes
a little bit and do the right thing. She is
actually the one that when when SeaWorld had that that
drowning with that ORCA that pulled that lady under. She's
the one that actually called Osha and was the one
(31:27):
that had that whole situation go down and everything. It
was pretty crazy, man.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
So she said a wild life, hasn't she?
Speaker 16 (31:33):
She? She she sure has bad operation getting getting fired
from jobs.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
Does she go in the sea world vacation with the
money she made from the bad surgery?
Speaker 29 (31:42):
She does?
Speaker 16 (31:43):
She she does not support them in one bit.
Speaker 1 (31:45):
Okay, I was going to say, like, where where did she? Yeah,
all of a sudden, I win all this money. I'm
going to be traveling the world. She bought her. Uh,
what's up, Sherry? Hi, it's Moche on the morning.
Speaker 42 (31:58):
How are you good?
Speaker 1 (31:59):
What's going on?
Speaker 43 (32:01):
When I had my second son, when they put the
epidirl in, they numbed me from my chest up, not
my waist.
Speaker 5 (32:10):
Oh my god.
Speaker 43 (32:11):
When when they went to put to take the epidural
needle out to replace it, they snapped the needle off
in my spine.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
That the epidurala was such a I was so terrified
of that and anything happening that That, to me is
a worst nightmare situation.
Speaker 34 (32:31):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (32:33):
Jerry? What did you What did you get in your settlement?
Speaker 43 (32:37):
Nothing? They got me while I was all drugged up
to sign off and I didn't have to pay for.
Speaker 25 (32:42):
Delivery.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
And the lawyers say that that's the case. That's nuts.
Speaker 43 (32:47):
Yep, because they got me when I was drugged up
and I signed off on it. So that makes me
lieu of probably probably one hundred plus thousand they get.
They took care of nine thousand dollars worth.
Speaker 1 (32:59):
Help me hand. What's going on, Katie?
Speaker 15 (33:05):
Hi?
Speaker 44 (33:06):
Yeah, So I had a lump in one of my
breasts and right before the surgery, the surgeon canon to
mark me up on which side and I did the
wrong one and I was.
Speaker 18 (33:14):
Like, whollo, it's the other one. Was thrated, but absolutely
terrifying because I.
Speaker 44 (33:19):
Was like panicking beforehand and I was like, that's not
the right.
Speaker 1 (33:22):
Side, thank you.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
Yeah, And that's it. That's not a fun.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Marie. What's up?
Speaker 25 (33:30):
Hey, guys?
Speaker 45 (33:31):
So I had a my niece will stayble to stay
with my niece. We're supposed to go in for an
ovarian sister removal and they actually ended up doing a
HYS direct to be on her.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
Oh my god.
Speaker 37 (33:42):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 45 (33:45):
Well at the time she was only seventeen.
Speaker 37 (33:47):
Oh yeah, So of course depression and the lawsuits are great,
you know, but that was a rough one because we
went through we had everything marked.
Speaker 34 (33:58):
It was just a.
Speaker 45 (33:59):
Simple procedure for fIF you know, removal and she comes
out and now she's completely infertile.
Speaker 5 (34:05):
Soch okay, that is horrible.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
How much money did she did she get a in
a legal battle.
Speaker 45 (34:14):
She's good, per she's good, her kids are good. We
actually went with a very prominent attorney in Michigan and
she ended up getting a little over a mill and
once they take their stuff, a little over seven hundred.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
See, would I would think that's a way more than
a million dollar settlement. I would think that's tens of
millions of dollars.
Speaker 45 (34:31):
Well, this is a long time ago. This is about
twenty years ago.
Speaker 1 (34:34):
There's there's that guy that the guy that got burned
at the UH at the Kroger that was working at
the Kroger got twenty some million dollars.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
Or whatever it was, or from that refrigerator, from.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
The refrigerator thing. I think being infertile for the rest
of your life by a mistake like that is something
that should definitely be paid. What's up, Jackie.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Hi?
Speaker 34 (34:58):
First time?
Speaker 38 (34:59):
Long time?
Speaker 39 (35:04):
But when I was younger, there was a routine console
surgery and they forgot to take out a sliver of
my consoles. So it still like swells and I get
strapped and stuff like that on that one part that
has that my tonsils still in man.
Speaker 8 (35:20):
See, this is where the robots need to come in. Bro,
I hate to say it.
Speaker 4 (35:24):
Yeah, you need to retire these type of errors.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
They can't happen.
Speaker 8 (35:29):
Like it's one thing for me to order my Jets
pizza and they come, you know what I'm saying with
some olives that I didn't order. It's a whole other
thing for you to have to go inside of my
body and remove something and you don't remove the right thing,
or you only get a piece of it. Like, there
has to be more accountability or consequences. This should not happen.
(35:49):
It's obviously human arab but still, Bro, it depends on.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
How hungry you are, though you really wanting the pepperoni pizza.
Speaker 41 (36:00):
No.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
I will say this though that you think that that
we have it crazy. We're staffing is tough and everything.
The problem is that human error is also bad with
a lot of cases where there's a lot of people
that probably you know, that left the field the medical field.
I think COVID kind of changed things a little bit
too with how people are looking. I have such huge
(36:23):
love for anybody that is in the medical field, especially
after what they dealt with in twenty twenty. But you know,
I think these these things are hopefully less frequent than
we ever hear about. It's just hard when you know
the person that had happened to.
Speaker 5 (36:36):
Yeah, And I mean, at this point, I just want
some answers.
Speaker 2 (36:43):
Grand Rabbit heard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun,
Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (36:51):
Guarantee, human guys. We have a thing that we're about
to do here that's going to be really special. And
I don't know if you figured it out or not,
but we're doing a breaking and entering Christmas wish. And
if you watch our stream that's available for you on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok,
and Twitch, you can see that it's all of us.
(37:11):
But then it's also our big old breaking and entering
Christmas wish sleigh provided by Santa Steve over at Zotford
in Holly, Michigan, Holly Jelly, Michigan. Bionca is out this morning,
and this wish this morning is for a very very
special person who is the daughter of a even more
(37:32):
special person. Bianca and Lester. Are you there, Lester?
Speaker 46 (37:45):
Hey?
Speaker 23 (37:45):
Are you there?
Speaker 1 (37:47):
High? Lester? Joe Lester Lester is Lester is my oldest
friend I have in this radio business. I've been working
with Lester since I started here. Lest sure, you've been here,
I think longer than I've been here working for this company.
How many years the last.
Speaker 17 (38:04):
Year, twenty big years.
Speaker 5 (38:08):
He's tried to leave twice and he always comes back.
He's tried to retire twice, and he always comes back.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Lester. You've met Lester at any of our promotions that
we've done. Lester is one of the sweetest, kindest, most
loving individuals I have ever met in my life.
Speaker 14 (38:24):
And thank you, Joe.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
Not that long ago, just a matter of a couple
of months ago, or maybe weeks, Lester had to sell
his own car because his daughter fell on some hard
times and Lester wanted to make sure that his grand
babies had somewhere that they could call home. And Lester,
(38:47):
this morning on the Mojo in the Morning Show, as
you are working our promotions team today to bring in
gifts to a family that is somebody that we love
to bless, you're going to be blessing your own daughter
on a wish this morning.
Speaker 46 (39:00):
Thank you, Thank you pretty much more.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Job, when did you realize that this wish today was
for your own family.
Speaker 46 (39:09):
When we just turned on the street.
Speaker 3 (39:13):
We did a good job.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
We did a good job of keeping it a secret.
Speaker 1 (39:17):
Were you thinking to yourself, Lester, Oh my god, they
live right by my family.
Speaker 46 (39:23):
But be at the point. So when you came up
on Graduate, I thought she had to go straight down Grads.
And then dead Man is sitting over at the the
diicker store, and I'm like, O Deadman right.
Speaker 1 (39:34):
There, Lester. Can I tell you, buddy, you are so special?
You mean so much to all of us. You never
say no, you always say yes.
Speaker 5 (39:48):
You're always giving hugs, you always have a smile on
your face always.
Speaker 1 (39:52):
And in this time, I know it's been some of
the most stressful that you've ever had in your life,
isn't it?
Speaker 15 (39:57):
Yes?
Speaker 46 (39:57):
It is, Yes, it's been very.
Speaker 1 (40:01):
Tell tell me about your your beautiful daughter.
Speaker 46 (40:06):
My daughter, Berna is very beautiful. She tried everything. He
worked hard one thing, and she is really stressed out
right now because she don't know what she's gonna do
for a kid for Christmas. And I keep telling her it's.
Speaker 14 (40:21):
Gonna be all right.
Speaker 46 (40:22):
As long as I got money and ald i'm working,
they gonna get home for Christmas. And so I went
to Lydia, and one of my best friends wrote in
to Lydia, and I went to Lydia. Actually, you know,
I just need some help because she's a very kid.
She's a very good kid. He's been good every since
she was little, and she softly. He got bad kids.
(40:48):
But Loan, I'm her daddy. She will always get something
from me, and I'm gonna always try to do something
because i love my child.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
Yeah. And we love you, buddy, and we and our
love for you is also our love for your your
children and your grandchildren. So this morning, guys, we're going
to go up in Lester. I want you to know this.
Did you know that we got a ton of letters
about about your daughter? Like literally a ton of letters
(41:20):
came in.
Speaker 15 (41:20):
Thank you.
Speaker 32 (41:21):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
So so this morning we're going to grant a Christmas wish.
Are you guys able to get out of the vehicle
and go walk up to the door.
Speaker 46 (41:31):
No, we're going to do it.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
Now, take that seat take take that seatbelt off, and
get out of that vehicle. Guys. Let's let's do it
all right there, we should go talk to is also here,
(41:52):
Ranisha Is who who wrote the letter. Y is Lester's
daughter and Braylan has uh Lester's five favorite grandchildren, although
I am gonna call them favorites because I know you
got a Lester's got eight thousand grandchildren. How many grandchildren
(42:13):
do you have?
Speaker 16 (42:13):
Last, Let's keep.
Speaker 25 (42:16):
Let's keep walking away. Let's keep walking away.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
Here we go, let's go.
Speaker 34 (42:19):
Let's get our house, so we're trying to move it around.
Speaker 39 (42:22):
Oh, we got a whole crew out here this morning.
Speaker 1 (42:29):
Hey, Ranisha, let's get up to the front door and
let's make a Christmas bright for Brayln and the beautiful
babies are ready. You wrote vable letter. We're gonna have
her hear that.
Speaker 25 (42:43):
We don't get hit right now.
Speaker 1 (42:45):
Okay, car cross this moment, by the way, you guys
on our lives, that we're doing this morning, and we're
gonna make sure we put it into a beautiful video
of Lester finding out that we're doing this for his
daughter was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Instant tears.
Speaker 35 (43:03):
All right, we're walking up through the door.
Speaker 39 (43:04):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Here we go.
Speaker 13 (43:11):
Do it.
Speaker 5 (43:15):
Good morning.
Speaker 25 (43:17):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
She has officially surpassed KP as being louder than at knocking.
Speaker 34 (43:27):
All right, makes you're not hear.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
Me Mojo on the Morning.
Speaker 5 (43:33):
At the door neighborhood.
Speaker 39 (43:35):
Wait, oh, hey, good morning, are you Braylen?
Speaker 25 (43:43):
Hey?
Speaker 34 (43:44):
Do you know have you heard the motion in the
Morning Show? He's actually on the want to talk to you.
Speaker 1 (43:49):
Hello, Braylan, Hi, beautiful, How are you.
Speaker 13 (43:53):
Good?
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Braylan? I want you to know that your daddy is
one of my favorite people in the entire world. I
want you to know that first and foremost here your
dad does so much work for us here. I'm the
Mojo on the Morning Show and all of our teams
here it I heard, and you you are blessed to
have the best dad in the world. You know that, though,
don't you. We received a letter. We received a letter
(44:18):
about you for our breaking and entering Christmas wish, and
I want you to hear this letter.
Speaker 36 (44:23):
Okay, okay, dear Mojo in the Morning. My name is
Ronnie Shared, and I'm writing on behalf of my dear
friend of more than twenty years. I've seen Braylan at
her highest moment and during her hardest days, and one
thing that's never changed is her love and dedication to
(44:46):
her children. This past year has been a struggle for
her because of the increasing cost of living Braylan and
her children were without a stable home, moving from place
to place, staying with fam and hotels anywhere she could
so her kids would.
Speaker 47 (45:06):
Have a safe place to rest.
Speaker 36 (45:08):
She was just finally able to secure a space for
her family and is doing everything she can to keep.
Speaker 19 (45:17):
That roof over their heads.
Speaker 36 (45:18):
However, she's still in need of a few essentials to
help make their new place truly feel like home.
Speaker 21 (45:26):
A stove, refrigerator, couch.
Speaker 36 (45:30):
Table, and other basics that most of.
Speaker 21 (45:33):
Us take for granted.
Speaker 35 (45:35):
Her kids don't act for much.
Speaker 36 (45:37):
They're grateful just to have a place to call home.
Any help, big or small, would make a huge difference
and means the world to her and her children. Thank

Speaker 1 (46:42):
A couple of weeks ago, Lester came into the studio
after the show was over with and was sharing with
me the story about how he just wanted your kids
to have coats because you guys lost everything, and to me,
the idea as a dad that my kids didn't even

our elves bringing in all the gifts for the kids
that are going to go around that Christmas tree.
Speaker 25 (49:01):
Thank you so much for overflowing.
Speaker 34 (49:04):
Right now, we can't even walk in the house. It's

Speaker 25 (49:08):
I thought, my dad, No, we care to take the
kids to school?
Speaker 1 (49:13):
Can I tell you something about Lester? And you know
this already. You know, Lester sold his car just to
be able to help you guys, and then had this
beautiful car that he loves so much. Lester, we got
to try to see what we can do to find
that car. I want to you know, I feel so
bad that you had to do that. I know, Lester,
you've been driving around the station engineering truck right. We're
(49:36):
going to make sure that we get you, guys, some
help with that, and we're going to write you a
check to be able to help you with all your bills.
So that this doesn't just make it a great Christmas,
this makes it a brand new year for you, a
new year on your own, a new year with your
children that you don't have to sit there and stress
and worry. You can lay your head on your pillow
and say I've done everything I can do for my family.
Speaker 16 (50:00):
Thank you, Lester.
Speaker 1 (50:04):
How you feeling, buddy?
Speaker 46 (50:09):
I feel good right now, bo Joe, thank you so much.
Speaker 15 (50:11):
Man.
Speaker 46 (50:12):
No, I want to say words right now, but thank
you so much.
Speaker 48 (50:19):
A very emotional moment talking about right now.
Speaker 4 (50:24):
I just want to say this about Lester. I know
that if it was any one of us in this
position and not his daughter, he would have sold his
car for us too.
Speaker 36 (50:32):
You know.
Speaker 1 (50:33):
I know you're right, and that's so true. Lester treats
us like his own family.
Speaker 41 (50:39):
Yeah, here's my family, you guys something to do this morning.
Speaker 15 (50:48):
I didn't know you right where you supposed to be.
Speaker 42 (50:58):
Work.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
Come here. You guys are so beautiful.
Speaker 25 (51:07):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (51:16):
Yeah. I could open up all those gifts, but first
give me a merry Christmas. I want to hear.
Speaker 42 (51:21):
I wanted Lester to be by the way.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Let me tell you something, Hey, guys, Lester has been
Santa Claus for us before I'm breaking it entering Christmas wishes.
Now we're being Santa Claus for you, Lester, and we're
doing this for you.
Speaker 23 (51:39):
Thank you.
Speaker 28 (51:40):
All right, guys, we're gonna do one really big merry
Christmas on three okay, as loud as you can.
Speaker 42 (51:44):
Okay, alright, ready one, two three.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
Tell me about how we cheated on you five times
already and is doing it again? Another world famous war
the Roses seventy four On Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 5 (52:01):
It's time for more mojo Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (52:05):
All right, Mojo in the Morning. Show injuries to the
family who got injured My cousin Elena.
Speaker 8 (52:12):
This is back back back in the day when I
was a we little lad. I don't even think I
was like ten years old. So, like we mentioned, my
mom's birthday was on Sunday and a lot of our
family came to church. Elena was one of those family
members that came to church. And I've mentioned Elena before
when my grandma beat her ass with a broom. Oh yeah, yes, yes,
(52:34):
Elena is like one of my favorite cousins. We spent
some time. We spent a lot of time with my
grandmother and my memory. We lived with her for a
couple of years and Elena lived with her as well.
And growing up with Elena, that was like that was
my dog. Like Elena is a few years older than me.
That was my favorite cousin. Used to do everything with me. Anymore,
Still my favorite cousin, Gerard kind of like replaced her
(52:54):
because like I'm older, but like Elena is like that's
my dog.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
She'll always to have a special place in my heart.
Speaker 8 (52:59):
So we get to talking just as we always do
about man, remember Elena, Like we used to go to
the carnivals, Like Elena was like my person. Melinda, my
sister used to go with her sister Brandy, but Lena
was always my person. So we're reminiscent. We're talking about
a lot of stuff. She was like, you remember when
you bit a hole in my stomach. I said, what,
Like that doesn't seem like something I would forget.
Speaker 1 (53:21):
She's like, yes, you bit a hole in my stomach.
It was the only time we've ever fought, our first
and last time. I'm like, dog, I do not remember
this at all, Like what happened? She said.
Speaker 8 (53:29):
I was young and I was always like a happy child,
but once like you took my toy or something like that.
She said, she took something and I chased her around
the house, got upstairs, cornered her, and I don't know
if she tried to lunge at me or hold me,
but I went pitbull lockjaw on her stomach and big
and with not let ball. She lifted up her stomach
(53:51):
in church. It's a dent in her stomach on one side.
Oh my god, where you can literally see like it's
not it's not like one side. It's not like the oven,
like you can see like indention literally in her stomach
where it's like it's dnsit.
Speaker 1 (54:04):
Kevin, what is that all about?
Speaker 8 (54:07):
I don't I was young, and that was probably the
only thing I could do, was like bite her, she said.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
I locked on. I wouldn't let go. She was screaming
and crying.
Speaker 8 (54:15):
My grandma had to come upstairs with the jaws of
life and try me up and like it was a
real thing.
Speaker 1 (54:20):
Bro, Can you actually bite somebody's skin off?
Speaker 17 (54:22):
Like?
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Has that ever happened? Has anybody ever had somebody like
like I hear I hear people like, uh, somebody said
that they got a like attactives and story in New
York where a person was like walking down the street
in New York and like the bronx or whatever and
I don't know if it was homeless guy or whatever
bit ended up biting the person. I'm going straight to
(54:48):
the hospital. Yeah, Like I'm getting every shot medium I'm
gonna be like, you give me technic, you give me COVID,
you give me a flu shot, you give me whatever.
Speaker 8 (54:58):
Then you drink yeah, raby shot. Have you ever injured
like or got injured by a family member?
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Doll?
Speaker 4 (55:05):
Yeah you have. Me and my sister used to fight. Yeah,
shout out Alison. I remember we were fighting when we
were both getting ready in our bathroom and I took
my curly iron and I sizzled her.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
What the hell?
Speaker 4 (55:19):
I know?
Speaker 1 (55:19):
It was really bad.
Speaker 4 (55:21):
I got crapped.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
Oh my god, you sizzled her skin. She made me
mad on her shoulder or like her arm.
Speaker 4 (55:29):
Don she probably sells the star raised.
Speaker 1 (55:31):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (55:32):
She used to push me down the stairs like we
really fought. Oh yeah, we.
Speaker 5 (55:37):
Were big hair pullers. But that was like, you know,
that's normal with sisters wizzled.
Speaker 1 (55:44):
Were you in trouble? Did you get in trouble for that?
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Of course I was in trouble.
Speaker 1 (55:47):
What kind of a punishment did you get for that one?
Speaker 4 (55:50):
Probably no phone?
Speaker 1 (55:51):
If I had Oh my god, that's crazy, burns hurt
really bad.
Speaker 4 (55:59):
That's what I had in my hand.
Speaker 8 (56:00):
I don't know, it's what I got a lot of,
like iron scars to this day.
Speaker 4 (56:04):
I don't think biting someone had much better.
Speaker 8 (56:07):
I mean, you like Cannibal Bro, you took your iron
and grilled cheese her head flash in your mouth.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
Pancho's brother stapled him. Where did he wait?
Speaker 14 (56:19):
Where he didn't sta I had to go get Staples.
Speaker 1 (56:26):
Oh, I thought, wait, what did your What did he do?
I thought he stayed. I thought he actually put a
stapler through you.
Speaker 14 (56:32):
No, he's to back in the day. I I don't
know if you guys remember what j joels were.
Speaker 1 (56:37):
Yeah, yeah, actually.
Speaker 15 (56:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (56:40):
They used to come with a green, hard, green plastic case.
Speaker 21 (56:44):
My brothers threw that at me up one day and
I had to go get Staples in the back of
my head because I wouldn't have give him a toy
you wanted.
Speaker 1 (56:50):
Oh my god, he was that much into that toy. Wow, man,
what's up? Paris? Are you doing?
Speaker 29 (57:00):
How you doing?
Speaker 1 (57:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 49 (57:02):
When you guys said this, I reflect it every morning
when I look in the mirror, I see a bike
mark from this kid. I used to hitlock wrestling because
I took marsh Lark and he did it when I
was like eight or nine years old, and I can
still see it to this day and I'm fifty three.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Oh my god, you still got the mark right there.
Speaker 23 (57:18):
I still have the mark.
Speaker 5 (57:23):
Top and bottom.
Speaker 1 (57:24):
He said, Wow, hold on, Sidney, what did your brother
do to you?
Speaker 32 (57:29):
We're standing in the kitchen and soul was done because
I was cooking.
Speaker 50 (57:33):
He stuck a metal fork on the fire and then
stuck it to my arm.
Speaker 1 (57:36):
Oh my god, she got so much. Is he in
jail right now?
Speaker 25 (57:43):
He's not.
Speaker 1 (57:44):
Oh my god, that's off the scar.
Speaker 25 (57:48):
It bubbled up.
Speaker 34 (57:49):
Yeah, it bubbled up and everything.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
Oh god, what's up, David?
Speaker 16 (57:53):
How you doing morning?
Speaker 1 (57:56):
How are you? We're okay, David. We're talking about the
injuries that family members gave you.
Speaker 5 (58:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 51 (58:02):
Me and my brother we get home from school. I'm
about thirteen years old, so I'm coming home from Jones.
Speaker 16 (58:08):
Junior High and we get to arguing, and then.
Speaker 51 (58:11):
My mom says, you know what, boys go out back
and fight it out, So we can out back and
fight it out.
Speaker 16 (58:16):
We're fighting and our dog is outside.
Speaker 51 (58:19):
On the leash and my brother pushes me and I
fall on top of the dog and my nuggets got
bit and I had sixteen stitches in my nugget.
Speaker 1 (58:29):
Oh my god, sixteens did they have to like stitch
them together. Did they split? Yeah?
Speaker 25 (58:37):
It but my inner sack fell completely.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
Oh my god, what he lost his sack? Yeah? His
balls are bouncing on the ground. Oh, oh my god,
that's awful. Lydia, did you call the person who bit
his sister's nipple off?
Speaker 22 (58:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (58:57):
I call that one. That's a that's a good one.
Oh my god. Kirk cousin stabbed me through what part
of your body with a pencil? Kurt?
Speaker 17 (59:10):
Oh, yeah, sorry, it doesn't stand a leg.
Speaker 1 (59:13):
With a pencil. Was it a number two?
Speaker 16 (59:17):
Though?
Speaker 1 (59:18):
That's all that meant?
Speaker 15 (59:20):
Was he disguised that his plans were saying.
Speaker 14 (59:24):
It seems really cool to be tickled on your leg
with a pencil.
Speaker 15 (59:28):
And he had me do it to him first.
Speaker 23 (59:30):
And then he gave it to me.
Speaker 17 (59:31):
But he made it maybe one sweat before he just
drove it in.
Speaker 23 (59:35):
I guess it's like thought.
Speaker 1 (59:37):
That's crazy. What an ahole moment there? Hold on, Tara,
what did your brother do to your nipple?
Speaker 34 (59:43):
No, it wasn't my nipple with my sister?
Speaker 47 (59:46):
What did he do my brother?
Speaker 34 (59:48):
So my sister is really evil.
Speaker 26 (59:49):
She used to like scratching pencilly bad and my brother
got really mad.
Speaker 35 (59:54):
One day, and so she kept doing it to him
and he bit he nipple.
Speaker 1 (59:58):
Oh does she have no nipple there now? Or do
they somehow put it back? You don't know. Oh my god.
Could you imagine all of a sudden you're with a
girl and you're like, there's no nipple right there, like
my brother. Oh, you gotta be like best precision. Oh God,
(01:00:19):
hold on. Look who's on the phone with us right now?
Elena is on.
Speaker 6 (01:00:26):
Hello.
Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
What's up Lane?
Speaker 25 (01:00:29):
Hey, first time long?
Speaker 1 (01:00:35):
No welcome Elena. We would like you to bite him back.
Can you please show?
Speaker 30 (01:00:45):
Oh?
Speaker 22 (01:00:45):
I will definitely.
Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
I think that you got to get back at him
for the marks that he's still cross to your body.
Speaker 46 (01:00:52):
I will.
Speaker 45 (01:00:53):
I do have a small little chunk out my stomach
and I showed him on Sunday.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
Yeah, I told you he was. He was not the
sweet guy that he is now, was he?
Speaker 37 (01:01:02):
No?
Speaker 46 (01:01:03):
Oh?
Speaker 25 (01:01:03):
And to clean it up, the broomstick was plastic?
Speaker 8 (01:01:08):
When was was that before? After the wooden one? I
thought you got to beat with the wooden one.
Speaker 19 (01:01:12):
No, those were switches that we had to go pick
ourselves from the tree.
Speaker 1 (01:01:27):
I need her to be the head of discipline for
the mojo of the marketing show, Elena, we love you,
take care of yourself, hold on saying, Heather's got one
last one here, Heather, what did your brother do?
Speaker 32 (01:01:40):
Oh?
Speaker 28 (01:01:40):
First time on time? Okay, So it all started out
when I was born. My mom called and talked to
my grandma with my brother and said, bringing your sister home,
and he said, and noly for there.
Speaker 52 (01:01:54):
He was too.
Speaker 28 (01:01:55):
A couple of years later, he took me behind in
the chair and cut off half of my hair. Then
he closed me up in a like a stroller and
cut the sip of my finger off, and I was yep,
I was sipping on a kitchen chair and he pulled
it out for me. And I've got scar on my
chins and a scar on my cheeks from both times when.
Speaker 43 (01:02:13):
He did it, and had to get sidgets.
Speaker 17 (01:02:15):
And then he put gasoline.
Speaker 28 (01:02:17):
Oh, he did not want me around. He put root beer,
or he put red poisoning in some room beer and
had me drink it. The last thing he did, yep,
I had had my son plumped twice. The last thing
he did when we were probably I don't know. I
was probably five and he was probably seven. He put
gastening in an orangee jug and then pour it into
(01:02:38):
a cup and head and drink.
Speaker 5 (01:02:40):
Oh my, poor mom.
Speaker 28 (01:02:44):
Yep, he did not want anything to do with me
until he went to college and I wasn't here in
high school and then we've been tight ever since.
Speaker 36 (01:02:51):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 23 (01:02:52):
Terrible, terrible.
Speaker 1 (01:02:53):
Can I tell you that's one of those ones where
you go, Okay, this kid needs to be like in
a mental hospital or or something like that. I mean,
I'm never drinking like that. That's like Jeffrey Dahmer, you
know what I mean. I'm Jeffrey Dahmer's sister. Wow, that's crazy.
Oh my god. Well, thank you for the call. I
appreciate it.
Speaker 4 (01:03:12):
You're alive.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Christmas lights and co workers they hang together, but only
half of them were and the other half really heartbed.
Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Right, Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. Catching cheaters,
I'm proud of it.
Speaker 12 (01:03:25):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
Get your home for Boar of the Roses Mojo in
the Morning. So Amaya, you think that your boyfriend is
cheating on you?
Speaker 24 (01:03:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 25 (01:03:34):
Why, Well, for one thing, he doesn't post me no
more on the internet on social media.
Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
So you guys have been together a couple of years
and and things have now started feeling a little bit
weird because.
Speaker 25 (01:03:52):
Yeah, no, it's not. It's not right. It's not it
doesn't seem to be going in the right direction. No,
And he wants to accuse me, but he's the cheater.
Speaker 1 (01:04:03):
I have to be quite honest with you. You don't
sound like the type of person that I would cheat
on if I was a guy.
Speaker 12 (01:04:09):
Oh, thank you, I am a guy, Amaya.
Speaker 5 (01:04:13):
Why why does did you ask him why he's not
posting you anymore? Because to me, that would freak me
out too.
Speaker 25 (01:04:21):
He just says, well, he's been working on some other
things and he didn't have time for this, and he
fell asleep or he was hanging out with his buddy.
Speaker 8 (01:04:31):
So was there ever a point, I guess when you
guys first started dating where you told him that he
had to post you. Was he ever reluctant or was
he always just willing to show you off?
Speaker 34 (01:04:47):
That was his thing?
Speaker 25 (01:04:49):
He always wanted to show me off. And we were
going out a lot, and I met a lot of
his friends and hanging out with them. And now it's
kind of it's just weird. He's he's distance.
Speaker 14 (01:05:01):
It's not.
Speaker 25 (01:05:02):
It's not the same. It doesn't even I don't know
if we even Dayton right.
Speaker 1 (01:05:07):
Now, Well, I'm weird, Amaya. We're going to figure out
what's going on here, and we're going to find out
if there is anything wrong and if there isn't, and
he sends you the flowers, and we got to figure
out a way to get this guy to be a
little bit more loving with you.
Speaker 25 (01:05:22):
All right, Okay, okay, I'm willing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
All right. I'm telling you this woman would cut your
goff if you cheated on her.
Speaker 8 (01:05:32):
She sounds like she could cook, though, How did you
get that out of there?
Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
You can make some greens, I can see, I can
hear it.
Speaker 25 (01:05:40):
Greens cannot throw down to what type of greens you want? Hey?
Speaker 15 (01:05:44):
I got a question?
Speaker 1 (01:05:45):

Speaker 4 (01:06:49):
M so okay?
Speaker 5 (01:06:52):
And do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next
six months?
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Probably not?
Speaker 4 (01:06:57):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:06:58):
As a thank you for participating in that survey that
we and I'm now authorized to provide you with that
dozen long stemmed red roses. So I need to go
ahead and get some information from you about who you
want the flowers to go out to this afternoon, starting
with a first name and a last name.
Speaker 16 (01:07:14):
So you're just gonna send them out for free?
Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
Yes, yep, absolutely, Hopefully you'll use us in the future
when you order flowers.
Speaker 1 (01:07:22):
Okay, what do you need again?
Speaker 5 (01:07:24):
First and a last name of who you would like
the flowers to go to?
Speaker 22 (01:07:29):
A Maya.
Speaker 5 (01:07:31):
Okay? And Amaya's relationship to you, okay? And I can
also instead of sending a card with the flowers, we
do something unique at roses bloom dot com and we
send a voice memo. So in this case, a Maya
(01:07:52):
will get a text message alerting her she has a
delivery today and then she'll also be able to play
this voice memo that I'm going to record here with
you here in just a second. Does that make sense?
So I'm gonna count you down and you just say
whatever you would say on a card. You can make
it a little bit longer, right, okay? Okay? Three two one.
Speaker 1 (01:08:14):
Love Forever and always, Caleb.
Speaker 5 (01:08:19):
Okay, and Caleb, I have to let you know that
this call is being recorded for quality and training purposes.
Are you okay with that?
Speaker 45 (01:08:27):
Really?
Speaker 4 (01:08:30):
Okay?
Speaker 5 (01:08:30):
Uh, we are good to go, but I actually need
you to okay the call being recorded for me to
proceed any further intend the flowers, Yeah, recorded whatever? Okay,
So you are okay with it being recorded.
Speaker 1 (01:08:45):
For the third time? Okay, Caleb. She needs to get that, okay,
just so that we can tell you what we're about
to tell you right now, and that is that we
are going to send those flowers off to a Maaya
and then no, no, no, we're just hanging out here.
I'll explain to you. This is the Mojo in the
(01:09:07):
morning show. And Amaya is very happy because you sent
flowers to her. Because she's on the phone listening to
you right now.
Speaker 23 (01:09:19):
Okay, why why is on the phone.
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
With Amyah called us up because she was worried that
the two of you were a little too distant from
each other, and she was making sure that you are
still thinking of her. And you just sent her the
flowers and wrote her a very very nice card and Amya,
you want to say something to Caleb? Yes, what do
(01:09:47):
you want to What do you want to say? Maya?
I'm scared.
Speaker 25 (01:09:52):
I just thought that we were on the ounce again.
This has been on and off, and I just felt
like you were seeing someone else and you doesn't. You
don't spend the time with me and don't answer my
calls like you used to. It's like, what's up? You
can put me on the back of you.
Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
I was cheating on you. Do thet anyone. It's you, am.
Speaker 25 (01:10:18):
I cheating on you? And you stop calling me. You
don't answer my call.
Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
You're talking about hold on one second here, hold on,
am Iyah. Are you should be happy he sent the
flowers to He talked about how good.
Speaker 25 (01:10:33):
I appreciate it, thank you. But now he's trying to
accuse me of.
Speaker 1 (01:10:38):
Caleb. You have you have a trust issue with with A? Maya? Yeah,
I mean if she's gonna try.
Speaker 23 (01:10:45):
It's something I can do with any of us.
Speaker 40 (01:10:49):
You wait a minute.
Speaker 25 (01:10:51):
You were always we was always hanging out. We very
seldom see one another. Maybe if want the wheel.
Speaker 1 (01:10:58):
Hair we're talking about. There was a.
Speaker 25 (01:11:02):
Week, No you have? What is it not? You don't
even post me on social media? You started that, I didn't.
Speaker 1 (01:11:12):
Why are you guys fighting when you guys have a
good situation there?
Speaker 13 (01:11:17):
But why?
Speaker 14 (01:11:19):
What?
Speaker 32 (01:11:19):
What?
Speaker 25 (01:11:19):
You don't have the time like you used to?
Speaker 38 (01:11:21):
Not?
Speaker 25 (01:11:21):
What?
Speaker 6 (01:11:22):
What's the excuse to what did I don't on social media?
Speaker 23 (01:11:26):
I don't even post on social media that much like you.
Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
You don't they come every day? Why are we so?
Speaker 13 (01:11:41):
Am?
Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
I be happy he sent you the flowers?
Speaker 25 (01:11:46):
I'm very happy.
Speaker 1 (01:11:48):
You don't sound happy English And Caleb, you sound like
you're miserable too. And you you got trust issues to
you guys gotta.
Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
Figure that out.
Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Yes, spend time with each other.
Speaker 25 (01:12:01):
Yeah, that's what we need to do. Oh you don't know. Okay,
that's what we need to do.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Hold on, hold on one second, okay, hold on. This
is the home of War of the Roses. I absolutely
love it. In the morning, were the roses Amaya and
(01:12:32):
gets the flowers? And still gets angry, still upset. But
does she have a point? Is there something there? Is
there something going on? Comments from listeners here on the
Mojo in the Morning show, Linda, what's up? It's worried
the roses? What's going on?
Speaker 46 (01:12:47):
Hey on the morning.
Speaker 45 (01:12:48):
So we we can't pass what he said? He said
that she's driving male coworkers home every single day.
Speaker 25 (01:12:56):
Okay, so have they talked about it?
Speaker 45 (01:12:59):
Is that something he doesn't like it she's still doing.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
Let's talk about this for a second, because we did
ask her that question, and I will tell you this.
I wish I had the tape running when it was
going on. Asked her about that. She said that it
was a one time deal, something that he's upset about.
He obviously still is bringing this thing up. That is
a very good point. These guys have an issue as
(01:13:24):
far as trust is concerned. But is him throwing that
back in her face a way to deflect off of
himself Because a lot of people would say the moment
that he just goes, well, you're the one that's cheating.
Makes you think that there's something going on there? Or
your thoughts on that, Linda.
Speaker 32 (01:13:43):
I think it's a double much sword because I feel
like women do this every day and now men are
starting to do it every single day because that pind
of situations where I've been accused off of one thing
that was miscommunicated, and in that case, I'm leaving because
at that point.
Speaker 45 (01:14:02):
You don't trust me and you don't trust my words,
So what.
Speaker 17 (01:14:05):
Are we even doing?
Speaker 1 (01:14:06):
Yeah, no, I listen, I get you that there is
something to these guys. I thought it was just a
nice thing, like the guy sent to flowers. I mean,
it was not even a question, and I don't think
he knew who he were, so it wasn't that. So
don't anybody get into that deal. I mean the guy,
you know, kind of mumbled his way through the whole
war of the roses. But she was not happy. And
(01:14:29):
they do not seem honestly, they didn't sound like a match.
Like they didn't sound usually when you get couples that
are on and you talk to them, you're like, oh,
these guys actually sound like they're into each other. They
don't sound like they're in there.
Speaker 5 (01:14:40):
They both started like they were or they both sounded,
excuse me, like they were trying to pick a fight.
Speaker 8 (01:14:43):
Yeah, But like to her point though, it seems like
he's been pulling back.
Speaker 5 (01:14:47):
Yeah, all of a sudden not posting. And I said
this when we were talking to her. Get that to
me is a was a really big thing. If you're posting, posting, posting, posting,
and then all of a sudden it's like nothing.
Speaker 1 (01:14:58):
Why I do want to ask this question about posting.
I want to ask the question about the amount of
times that your significant others should post you or you know,
if they don't post you, because I think that there
are some people that look at it as there has
(01:15:19):
to be a certain amount of posts about you in
order for you to be out there to every one
of their people that follow them. You know, it's kind
of it so you know what, it's kind of like.
It's like, you know how dogs mark their territory. It's
your version of marking your territory of peeing on your spot.
Crazy analogy.
Speaker 8 (01:15:39):
I've been in relationships now I'm obviously I'm on a radio,
and I think the gifts that God have given me
has given me has put me in positions to where
I have to be public, even though I prefer to
be private. So my personal life outside of like this
and the things that I do I don't like talking
about my personal life, like my friends have been like,
(01:15:59):
we've learned more about you on this show, and we've
known about your entire life.
Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
That's just how I live. Yeah, in relationships, I'm kind
of the same way. But I've been involved with people
who felt this though.
Speaker 8 (01:16:08):
And I don't know if it's in security or if
it's just the times of social media that we're in
that if you're not quote unquote showcasing me or posting me,
you must mean or that must mean you're hiding me. Yeah,
And it doesn't always equate in that way. It's just
I don't want the world to be into something that's
so private.
Speaker 1 (01:16:24):
And so sacred.
Speaker 5 (01:16:25):
Wes stated a girl that was this was a topic
of conversation and a point of contention between them all
the time, and he said she would constantly either be
sending him photos to post of her, or they would
get into arguments of why he was not posting her,
and it was it was one of the reasons why
he was like, this person is not my person.
Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Yeah. Eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six
six five six five four eight. I want to talk
about that about not posting on social media. And does
that equate to cheating or hiding something? What's up, Tyler?
Speaker 17 (01:17:00):
Hi, Hey, good morning everybody. I don't think that posting
your significant other on social media is necessary at all.
I think doing too much of that is actually unhealthier.
Maybe there's like some unhealthy reasons underlying why that's happening.
Speaker 16 (01:17:21):
I just been speaking from experience.
Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Here, what's your experience.
Speaker 17 (01:17:26):
So the relationship I was in before the one I'm
currently in, she would post, not I wouldn't say super frequently,
but it was a lot more frequently than me. I
just wouldn't really post other than the occasions, you know,
maybe a birthday or something like that. But it was randomness,
(01:17:49):
but it was also it seemed like possessiveness. And looking
back on it now being removed, there were a lot
of signs like in the relationship going on at the
time as well.
Speaker 16 (01:17:59):
That I just was ignorant too.
Speaker 17 (01:18:04):
But no, my girlfriend and I don't post each other
on social media at all, and there's still issues there,
So that's an interesting one.
Speaker 1 (01:18:11):
I do think that if things go through a drastic
change where somebody you know doesn't now all of a
sudden posts and they were posting before it does make
me think that, but they can also go back and
look at the past posts and realize that they're in
a relationship. But Dave on what's up. It's Mojo in
(01:18:31):
the morning, Hi, what.
Speaker 22 (01:18:33):
Was going on?
Speaker 23 (01:18:34):
Was going on?
Speaker 53 (01:18:35):
So my perspective, I think maybe a miamieds to take
step back, think of think things. So with the whole
taking and got home from work with her boyfriend posting her,
and you know, they going out on days probably doing
the work for and then she posts him, it probably.
Speaker 23 (01:18:51):
Felt like a little embarrassed and especially if.
Speaker 53 (01:18:53):
She didn't communicate that with him.
Speaker 23 (01:18:55):
So they really just got.
Speaker 40 (01:18:57):
A lot of bad miscommunication going on.
Speaker 53 (01:19:00):
But the whole posting on social media thing, that's only
as important as the two individuals make.
Speaker 23 (01:19:05):
It is very important.
Speaker 54 (01:19:07):
To her.
Speaker 16 (01:19:09):
Big do something.
Speaker 23 (01:19:10):
Yeah, tell her why he's not doing anything?
Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Yeah, I think so if you're I think if she wants,
if that's something that she wants, let her have a
little bit of that.
Speaker 8 (01:19:17):
I get it, But I always think of why why
do you need it so bad?
Speaker 1 (01:19:22):
Because it makes her feel more secure?
Speaker 8 (01:19:24):
Yeah, then then am I not doing something that I
need to be doing in a relationship where the well,
the only pointing, but I'm saying that's weak as hell. Well,
if the way that you feel secure in our relationship's got.
Speaker 1 (01:19:34):
To be no, but there's got to be other stuff there.
Speaker 5 (01:19:36):
So what you're saying, I think it's I think it's
what Mojo said of then it's public, then everybody knows.
Speaker 46 (01:19:44):
No.
Speaker 5 (01:19:44):
Look, we know we all know people who are posting
the hell out of their significant others and they're still
doing stuff behind the scenes. So that is definitely not
a guarantee.
Speaker 1 (01:19:55):
But there's also a drastic change in this. He used
to post her, now he's not post that's was it
willingly or was it because I've been in relationships when
people say I need you to post me and I
was like forced to do it. Hey, Cash, what's up?
Speaker 44 (01:20:08):
Hey?
Speaker 55 (01:20:08):
I would just like to say with the posting things,
some people post too much, right all the time. I
think if you're avoiding posting me, if we're out to
dinner and you're just posting the plate, that's the problem.
Speaker 36 (01:20:21):
Right.
Speaker 55 (01:20:22):
If we're on vacation, people just posting the sand and
I'm right next. But if you're you know, if you're
at home and you're like, oh, I'm playing Roses today,
why I'm not there, why you know.
Speaker 26 (01:20:35):
But if it's something where I should be.
Speaker 55 (01:20:37):
Included, I would steal some kind of way. Because some
people post like I'm painting my nails.
Speaker 14 (01:20:42):
Okay, well who cares, right, right?
Speaker 1 (01:20:44):
Exactly? Yeah, you can.
Speaker 55 (01:20:46):
Tell that they're avoiding it. But like the last caller,
if it's an issue, just throw them in there. Hey
remember this guy, I'm.
Speaker 25 (01:20:54):
Still with you, exactly, sublige.
Speaker 1 (01:20:56):
Sometimes yeah, I agree with you. Capri's up, it's Mojo
in the morning.
Speaker 56 (01:21:02):
Hey, guys, I just wanted to say because I've been
in situations where I was in a relationship and he
was posting me, but he was cheating. So I learned
from that and I did never post my significant other
on social media because it's embarrassing to be with someone
and they're posting you for the world to see as
if they're so madly in love and then all the
(01:21:23):
time the whole time they're cheating on you and you
not knowing this, and you're posting them and now you
look stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:21:29):
So you let that one time change you as far
as being that scarred that you won't post anybody now?
Speaker 14 (01:21:35):
Absolutely how many times?
Speaker 1 (01:21:38):
Well, why do you if that was the case. Then
all of a sudden, you're gonna say, the first time
a guy cheats on you, you're going to girls, because
why do you got to do that?
Speaker 17 (01:21:45):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
Like, I think you got to give it a little bit,
you know of Uh, that was just him. Uh, Lisa,
what's up?
Speaker 38 (01:21:54):
Hey, Mojo?
Speaker 29 (01:21:55):
How's it going?
Speaker 1 (01:21:56):
You know what? Lisa's going good? How much are you
posting your man?
Speaker 54 (01:22:02):
Well?
Speaker 29 (01:22:02):
I don't really post him because I've actually been in
a relationship with him for eight years and he's never
once posted anything about me.
Speaker 1 (01:22:09):
Okay, there's there's something there. Why is he What does
he post on his social media?
Speaker 29 (01:22:14):
Well, he supposedly says that he doesn't post anything, but
as we know, there's a way to hide those kind
of things or hide your postings from your significant others.
So it's always been a sore spot for us. He
just tells me, I'm never on.
Speaker 5 (01:22:29):
Facebook, but you know that he posts, but he specifically
hides you from seeing it.
Speaker 29 (01:22:35):
No, I don't know if he posts, because as we
all know, there is a way to block, yes, certain
people from seeing your posts. So I always have people
kind of check up on his profile to see if
he's posted anything happened. He's been together for eight years.
Speaker 47 (01:22:50):
Hardon, has it ever.
Speaker 5 (01:22:52):
Happened that he did post something and then blocked you
from seeing it.
Speaker 29 (01:22:55):
Well, I've posted things on his social media and then
they disappear.
Speaker 1 (01:23:00):
Okay, so so you tag him in it and he
he It will go up on his social and he'll
go back to it and he'll block it so that
it doesn't check.
Speaker 29 (01:23:12):
Well, he denies that he does it. But I'll post
something like it's his birthday. I'll post and it's gone.
It's gone a few minutes later. But we've been together
eight years and even some of his friends.
Speaker 21 (01:23:26):
We ran into a golf oppings and they.
Speaker 1 (01:23:28):
Asked, who I am, Lisa. There's something to that that's weird, man,
Why are you staying in this?
Speaker 32 (01:23:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 27 (01:23:39):
I don't know.
Speaker 29 (01:23:39):
We've been together, like I said, for eight years, but
pretty much most of the important people in his life
don't even know I exist.
Speaker 1 (01:23:48):
That's why I have children together.
Speaker 29 (01:23:51):
No, we're beyond that point.
Speaker 1 (01:23:54):
Yeah, that's amazing. That is really kind of sad. That
makes me really sad. It's not uncommon though. We got
hold on a second.
Speaker 5 (01:24:01):
We've got our guys that don't post period that don't
have social media period, but to have it and to
only block your significant other of eight years from seeing
stuff is.
Speaker 1 (01:24:12):
Well, no, she said, well, but she also says that
it's not even so much blocking from seeing it. She'll
post something that gets on his ade I know, and
then she he'll purposely go to it and take it off.
Speaker 5 (01:24:22):
No, I understand that purpose. Did you hear what else
she said of? You know, if you post a story,
you can select certain people that you don't want to
see that story. And that's what he was doing to her.
Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
Yeah, he doing it in real life. That's a that's
a crazy one. Don't even know her all right, wore
the roses on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (01:24:38):
This is the whole of the second date up days,
War of the Roses, the throwback throw down.
Speaker 1 (01:24:44):
This is Moju in the Morning.
Speaker 2 (01:24:47):
Why DETROITNX seeing Grand Rabbits four five SNX and nine
two five FM hard radio stations, real people, real live,
real fun, Mojo in the Morning, guaranteed Mojo.
Speaker 32 (01:25:15):
One.
Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
God, let me take that back to the beginning.
Speaker 5 (01:25:18):
This is it alrighty ready, you're listening to.
Speaker 3 (01:25:21):
Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (01:25:23):
You're a doo doo, a heck, let's go, it's Mojo
in the Morning show. U Anna, he's not my man.
Speaker 4 (01:25:36):
Yes, he is not my man. I do not have
a man, just to make that clear. But listen, listen
to this situation because I think it's like one of
the craziest things that has happened to me recently. I
woke up. Everyone knows I'm a TikToker. So I woke
up yesterday morning to a ton of message requests from
a million different accounts that had zero followers, zero post
(01:25:59):
which means they were just made in my head. And
it is from a woman who thinks that I'm talking
to her man.
Speaker 3 (01:26:08):
Oh how and why?
Speaker 4 (01:26:10):
So I posted a video probably months ago referencing this
guy because he is a friend of mine, but we
rarely see each other. He wasn't in the video. I
just said that I was going to one of his
events because he puts on events, and she, for some reason,
thinks that he's my man. And she's been sending me
the most ridiculous messages, some of them that there is
(01:26:31):
no way I could even read on air. But let
me read some of them. You don't have to be
honest with me, just know so and so doesn't give
an f about you. He isn't smooth, and I'm tired
of him coming off cool in front of people who
don't know the real him. He and I have been
baking cookies for a year now. I'm like, this is
not my man. Leave me out of this. So I
(01:26:52):
called him and I was like, Yo, get this girl
out of my Like, I don't need this in my
life right now. Yeah, and his again, I'm not sure
that he's one hundred percent clean in this situation. But
he's like, she's crazy. Please delete the comments that she's
putting on your videos because she's commenting under all my videos.
So and so is my man, so and so and
(01:27:14):
me are hooking up so and so blah blah blah
blah blah. He's like, please delete the comments. She has
a mental issue and she does this to every girl
that I am involved with.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
So tell me a little bit here. Who is the guy?
Speaker 4 (01:27:30):
He's a friend of mine.
Speaker 5 (01:27:31):
I don't know that's truly a friend. Nothing has ever
never crossed that line.
Speaker 4 (01:27:36):
We've never even like flirted with each other.
Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Why would she is he in a lot of your
tiktoks where she believes that you guys are together. No,
So why would she associate you with him?
Speaker 4 (01:27:44):
I was talking about going to one of his events,
so he works very close to me. That was just
it with Big Sean, and I was like, oh, I'm
going to this thing for Big Sean, and she put
two and two together and she was like, oh, she
must have invited her. Yeah, And now I'm scared because
I post where I'm at a lot. She's like telling me, like,
this is going to be a.
Speaker 1 (01:28:00):
Problem to me. Fake accounts? Did she make several?
Speaker 4 (01:28:04):
Because I was blocking all of them because I don't
want these kind of people to do the video.
Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
I can't even get one good TikTok account. I always
wonder how these people are able to do that. That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (01:28:15):
And she's posting screenshots on the fake accounts of conversations
she's had with him too, so to prove that she
has had relationships.
Speaker 1 (01:28:23):
So why is he telling he's telling you to delete
him because she's crazy. Is there any way to send her,
like you know, sometimes you need to give somebody a
taste of their own medicine. Is there any way to
go and get her real account and go after her?
Speaker 5 (01:28:38):
But that's too much effort.
Speaker 1 (01:28:40):
If she dealing with a real mental disorder. You're not
trying to dig deeper. Now, what did this guy was?
He must he break up with her? And you said
that they I don't even know if they were.
Speaker 4 (01:28:50):
A thing or maybe he just hit it and quit
it one time. But yeah, she is not feeling good
about it.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
Well, if you're talking about it on the rate, you
know you're obviously not messing with him, because absolutely not. Yeah,
because it's like, what's going on? The problem though, is
I always hate this as a guy when you hear
somebody like go like when they accuse you and they'll
say you're you know, she's messing with me and guy,
and then all of a sudden, you go, I would
never do that, and that guy's a guy You're like,
(01:29:19):
you won't even give me a shot, you know what
I mean? Like one of those things I love.
Speaker 5 (01:29:22):
When you get sassy, you get like a Texas accent,
you do know what that happens.
Speaker 1 (01:29:26):
I think it's kind of like, I think it's kind
of like a little bit of my black side.
Speaker 5 (01:29:29):
You try to make it your black side, but it
just comes off as like a very country Western he
thinks he's.
Speaker 1 (01:29:37):
Black, But yeah, that's crazy. By the way, that is
crazy that she's doing this.
Speaker 4 (01:29:42):
I feel bad for him because, like his screenshots of
their conversations are all over the internet.
Speaker 1 (01:29:48):
Now you know what you need to do. Shannon's old
morning show partner was the greatest at this. What he
would do is he would find out who our employer
is and then he would say, hey, this is coming
from your worker who obviously is not working very much
because they're doing this, and guarantee.
Speaker 5 (01:30:06):
You you would send all the screenshots, all the emails,
all this social posts to this like in this case,
this girl's boss and be like, do you know this
is your employee and this is how she behaves outside
of work and represents your company.
Speaker 4 (01:30:18):
He told me he's going to handle it, but like
in my head, I am a little afraid because she's
getting to the point.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Where it's crazy.
Speaker 16 (01:30:25):
Right.
Speaker 8 (01:30:26):
Can we go back to Mojo turning into media.
Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
To fit in that dress? Have me call up. I'll
see what now, I got a little Southerner that one
eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six six
five sixty five four eight give some advice from maybe
your circumstances. You somebody that ever had somebody coming after you,
(01:30:53):
like this with you know the finstas and what do
they call fake tiktoks?
Speaker 4 (01:30:57):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:30:58):
They gotta have a name like a fence stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:31:01):
Oh like about account.
Speaker 1 (01:31:02):
A bot account, but I think it needs to sound
like a thing the greatest. Yeah, I don't know. That
doesn't sound That was good? Eight four four Mojo Live
or text call me to nine five five zero zero.
Or if you don't want to go on with us,
if you text call me, we'll call you. But or
if you don't want to go on with us, just
(01:31:23):
text your comment and I'll read your comment. Uh to
to go on the air. A couple of comments is here.
Uh this is from three one three Anna. You need
to report her, but not only reports the account, but
report who that person is in their real account. How
do you know they're really I don't even know her
real name.
Speaker 4 (01:31:39):
He knows it, he won't tell me.
Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
He's like I'm taking care of and he's part.
Speaker 4 (01:31:43):
Of the I know. That's why I'm saying I don't
know his side of the story.
Speaker 5 (01:31:46):
If you start to feel unsafe when you go out,
that's where it's like, I need her real name because
exactly you know, you may even want to report if
at some point it gets to that point. I don't know.
I'm more always be safe than sorry and report it
to the police.
Speaker 1 (01:32:00):
Person says you shouldn't delete the messages because if you
delete them right off of the thing, then you have
no proof of this person does something even crazier screenshots.
Speaker 4 (01:32:09):
I have screenshots, but I'm definitely blocking her.
Speaker 1 (01:32:12):
Yeah, texture Hair said, this guy's part of it. He's
doing something or saying something that's getting you in trouble
on this. Oh great, I kind of see that.
Speaker 8 (01:32:22):
It's kind of feel like also like exus who try
to meddle in your current relationship. Yeah, it feels like
a little bit of that as well, except for she's
not in a relationship. Yeah, but still to that person,
they think you in a relationship with him, because I've
had people that girls I used to deal with whatever
the case may be, and they boyfriend's a call or
something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:32:39):
But are you messing with me? Like it's none of
my business?
Speaker 19 (01:32:43):
Bro?
Speaker 1 (01:32:43):
Hey Bree, what's up?
Speaker 44 (01:32:45):
Hi?
Speaker 50 (01:32:46):
So I actually have an old coworker. He ended up
being like one of my good friends.
Speaker 34 (01:32:50):
Nothing ever, not to be.
Speaker 50 (01:32:52):
Mean, but very ugly, not like not my life and
all of a sudden, I started getting like these weird
comments on like my Facebook post, my Instagram and it
was like from different accounts with like the profoles had
like one picture and I couldn't figure.
Speaker 34 (01:33:07):
It out who it was at first.
Speaker 50 (01:33:09):
Come to find out it was his wife who lived
in Mexico.
Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
Wow.
Speaker 50 (01:33:13):
And yeah, she how she found out about me? I
have no idea. I think eventually he told her like
who I was. But yeah, she accused us of sleeping together.
She was calling me a bad mom because I have
a son and he was like good friends with my
son as well.
Speaker 34 (01:33:29):
She was threatening me.
Speaker 50 (01:33:30):
She told me she was going.
Speaker 34 (01:33:31):
To have the cartel come out for me.
Speaker 14 (01:33:35):
Tell yeah.
Speaker 50 (01:33:37):
So it was a very scary. It went on for
about six months, and like I said, it wasn't just
one fake account, it was multiple, And then she had
other people in Mexico coming after me. There was never
anything going on.
Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
I was gonna say, I'd rather have them be in
Mexico because at least they're not in the same city
as me, But if they got the cartel on their side,
that would scare the crap out of me.
Speaker 8 (01:33:58):
What's up, Lisa Man, Could you imagine if the messages
were all in Spanish and then you had to like
translate it and being reread it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:03):
That's even scary.
Speaker 25 (01:34:07):
So I was.
Speaker 17 (01:34:08):
Listening into all the text that Mojo was reading back.
Speaker 55 (01:34:10):
So that is a real thing.
Speaker 14 (01:34:11):
I work inside a prison.
Speaker 57 (01:34:13):
I've worked there for many years, and this is a
real thing.
Speaker 35 (01:34:16):
And I do not delete any of that stuff that
is evident, and be very careful.
Speaker 1 (01:34:23):
Please, what do you what do you mean by that
is a thing?
Speaker 23 (01:34:26):
What's the thing stalking?
Speaker 14 (01:34:28):
That's like, that's like stalking charges.
Speaker 1 (01:34:32):
Yeah, so let me ask you, because you work in
a in a prison, do you ever get stalked by
any people that are on the outside.
Speaker 25 (01:34:43):
I don't know.
Speaker 45 (01:34:44):
I mean I have had people look me up like
when they get out family members.
Speaker 55 (01:34:48):
Because you know, when you you're scrolling on social media
and then like people you make and then people are
like family members of prisoner.
Speaker 1 (01:34:56):
I would honestly be worried if I worked in a
prison and I was a woman like you're self and
I'm sure you're beautiful, and a guy gets out and
all of a sudden he's like, man that you know,
guard Lisa was hot, and then he starts looking you
up and starts sending you messages afterwards and then not
yeah a.
Speaker 58 (01:35:13):
Female maybe aggressive too, Yeah, little mess All right, thank
you for the call.
Speaker 1 (01:35:24):
Hold on, Tiffany, what's up, Tiffany?
Speaker 13 (01:35:27):
Hi?
Speaker 25 (01:35:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (01:35:29):
Are you sure it's not him doing it?
Speaker 4 (01:35:32):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (01:35:34):
It's like that mom from Ye.
Speaker 18 (01:35:39):
Yeah, so I had.
Speaker 4 (01:35:41):
It's actually the guy I'm harry too that did it.
Speaker 12 (01:35:44):
But oh my god, this is a story a long.
Speaker 59 (01:35:49):
Time ago when we first like started hanging out, this
uh he created and I had to like do investigation
for to like find this out. But he created a
profile on Instagram of me and used a couple of
pictures that I didn't have on my social media and
of me, and then he was created another girl that
was saying like stop, you need to stop telling this
(01:36:11):
girl that we're hanging out.
Speaker 4 (01:36:13):
You need to stop doing this.
Speaker 59 (01:36:14):
And he was screenshotting these messages from me to this
other girl.
Speaker 5 (01:36:17):
And it was to be like Superman.
Speaker 59 (01:36:20):
It was to like be the one that like took
care of it, and it was to be the guy
that was there to like it was weird.
Speaker 5 (01:36:27):
Yeah, what made you then go I want to spend
the rest of my life with him?
Speaker 59 (01:36:30):
Well, then we stopped talking for a while, like six months,
and I like investigated the whole situation, and then I
kind of was like, well, I mean, if he did
all this to like get with me.
Speaker 1 (01:36:44):
And really hot and it was really hot too, crazy guy.
Speaker 4 (01:36:48):
So I don't think it's him because he sent me
screenshots of like his phone that he was getting calls
from her seven thirty four, seven thirty three, seven thirty three,
seven thirty two, no caller ideas the phone, and then
she she's also he told me that she's messaging him
saying I found your little girlfriend. She better watch out.
Speaker 1 (01:37:07):
So well, by the way, uh, that is still the
wildest story, Tiviany that you're like, if he's willing to
go and do all this crazy stalking of me, I'm
gonna marry him. Maybe he'll stalk me. Look at this.
Every lid has a God has a lid. Right, Yeah, Okay,
she has no choice for me.
Speaker 4 (01:37:29):
We love the happy ending.
Speaker 1 (01:37:31):
Yeah, he's sitting right next to her. Oh my god,
a knife on her by.
Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
The only person nicer than a guy trying to sleep
with you is a guy trying to sleep with you
for the first time.
Speaker 1 (01:37:43):
This is Mojo in the morning, all right. It is
Mojo in the morning show, Uh, Shannon, and she is
a see you next Tuesday Day.
Speaker 4 (01:37:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:37:53):
I was not on my finest behavior yesterday. I will
be the first to admit that. And Mojo, you saw
you saw the spirals start to happen after the show,
just like a lot of frustrations that I feel like
I've been sweeping under the rug for a really long
time and not letting myself get upset about. And at
(01:38:15):
the top of the list is my co parenting relationship
is not the greatest right now, and it's just been
it's been heavy, to say the least. And so yesterday
got the better of me. And I always think of
it in my head like a bucket, where like I
can throw a lot of frustrations and anger into a
(01:38:36):
bucket and keep cool, and then at some point the
bucket overflows. And that is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Okay,
So I am out and running errands and not in
the best mood because of something that had happened, which
obviously I'm going to keep private. And I was on
the phone with my two girlfriends and Wes and just
(01:39:01):
using every bad word I've ever been taught in my life,
words that I don't even say ever on ever, on
a daily basis. And at one point I'm in English gardens,
walking among the twinkling lights and the peppermint sticks and
the Christmas trees, and I am going off. My husband
(01:39:22):
West is on the phone and I am just letting louse,
catching him up. He's been out of town on like,
how frustrated and angry I am, and you again using
all the bad words in the book, and West He's
like a woo shan, shan, take a deep breath, where
(01:39:43):
are you? I hear Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer blaring
in the background, and I'm like, oh my god, I
was so in my zone of like being upset and
angry that I didn't even realize I'm like in a
very happy place and I am just mother effing everybody yesterday.
It's not my finest moment.
Speaker 1 (01:40:03):
It is, honestly, can I tell you it's better than
if you were at home, Because if you were at
home and you were doing this in your own home,
where you could, you know, have your four walls around
you and everything would be calm, it would not be
honestly as fitting as being at English gardens for those
that don't know, is a nursery.
Speaker 5 (01:40:23):
Right, It's a nursery. And they saw like all the
Christmas things, you know, which is what I was buying.
Speaker 1 (01:40:27):
And have Christmas trees.
Speaker 5 (01:40:29):
Yeah, I mean if you saw me there. There weren't
a lot of people there because it was last night.
But I'm so sorry. I don't think there were any children.
I please your God, don't hope there were any children around,
but me and my trucker mouth and Rudolf we're walking
through there.
Speaker 1 (01:40:44):
I actually would love to know from our listeners, where
did you lose your spit? Where were you when you
lost your spit? Because when you lose your spit in
a public place like that, and it's not losing your
spit about what's going on in the public place, it's
losing your spit something that's going on in your life
at that particular moment. That makes it even more fitting
because people don't understand why why.
Speaker 5 (01:41:06):
And West kept saying, okay, all right, just take a
deep breath, and I was like, I give zero s.
I was just raging you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:41:17):
You know what we got to get Channing Christmas. No, No,
we got to get shann In the shirt that says
I give zero as.
Speaker 5 (01:41:26):
I was like sweating as I was going, and then
I got back in my car and like, I am
slightly embarrassed at my behavior today.
Speaker 1 (01:41:33):
But you know what, it's the only other place that
you could have really lost your spit like that would
have been I don't know, maybe somewhere. What's another happy
place like losing it in uh Disney World? Yeah, exactly.
That's probably the happiest place on earth.
Speaker 5 (01:41:48):
The Lego store.
Speaker 1 (01:41:49):
Oh yeah, you know, I don't know. Chick fil A.
That place always makes me happy for some reason. Angie,
what's going on? Hi? Hi, good morning, Good morning, Angie.
I wants to say something to you, Shannon.
Speaker 19 (01:42:04):
You know, you are the epitome of the people that
drive me nuts in the stores. They're on their speaker
phone and they are just have no idea who is around,
what's going on.
Speaker 25 (01:42:15):
They are in the zone.
Speaker 19 (01:42:17):
But this seems to be happening more than ever.
Speaker 48 (01:42:19):
People on their speakers.
Speaker 1 (01:42:20):
Oh I was, I was not on speak You couldn't
hear the other end of the co.
Speaker 5 (01:42:26):
You only could hear the mom I'm not a phone
in public person.
Speaker 60 (01:42:30):
Yeah, yeah, still in the zone, still hollering your personal business.
Speaker 18 (01:42:34):
So yeah, and it's more than ever.
Speaker 61 (01:42:37):
I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (01:42:38):
Let me ask you a question, Angie. Have you ever
lost it though in a public place?
Speaker 25 (01:42:42):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:42:43):
Hell yeah?
Speaker 17 (01:42:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:42:46):
Where's the last place that you lost at?
Speaker 60 (01:42:50):
I was actually in a store and it was a
lady in front of me and can I say Kroger there?
Speaker 36 (01:42:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 19 (01:42:59):
It was the pop Specials in.
Speaker 60 (01:43:01):
Front of the lady in front of me checking out,
and she didn't.
Speaker 29 (01:43:04):
Get the right pops to get the discount.
Speaker 45 (01:43:06):
She told them how they were full.
Speaker 19 (01:43:08):
Of it, left, went to go get the pops, come back,
and I just simply said to her, like, what.
Speaker 25 (01:43:13):
Are you doing? You know, like, why are you cussing
out this cashier? You're making us all way?
Speaker 45 (01:43:19):
I'm like, are you going to wrap this up anytime soon?
Speaker 19 (01:43:21):
Or should I go to a different aisle?
Speaker 52 (01:43:22):
Of course she was.
Speaker 1 (01:43:24):
She was not having it having it with you there.
And then of course my voice goes overhire, Hey, Chris,
how you doing?
Speaker 28 (01:43:36):
I'm good?
Speaker 26 (01:43:37):
So I work in at seeing your Sonner and I'm
sixty and most of the people there are eight and above,
and so they all think I'm like nice and friendly,
and I usually am. I got in a phone fight
with one of my co workers, and she hung up
on me without realizing where I am. I started screaming
usually out.
Speaker 9 (01:43:53):
For don't you and hang up on me?
Speaker 26 (01:43:56):
And I just screamed and going off on her, and
they look at me. I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna take
this call out in the.
Speaker 5 (01:44:02):
Park I.
Speaker 29 (01:44:06):
Say, I was so irate.
Speaker 26 (01:44:08):
That I should have just hung up on the coworker
and went back in and.
Speaker 9 (01:44:11):
Apologized to the people, But I ten you pacing up
and down the parking lot.
Speaker 42 (01:44:16):
I probably looked like a crazy.
Speaker 28 (01:44:18):
Person, but at least I think I won the argument anyway.
Speaker 5 (01:44:23):
Sometimes and I am not good about letting anger out.
I like to stuff it and try to like see
the silver lining. And sometime, like yesterday, I was like,
I do not like it felt so good to let
it out of my body.
Speaker 1 (01:44:35):
Do you ever do this in your car and you
think that the glass that they make on a General
Motors product actually is keeping the sound in and you
realize that people are looking at you because they can
hear you screaming the phone.
Speaker 5 (01:44:48):
I got home yesterday and I still just like had
so much anger in me, and so I'm like, I
feel like it's just it'll help me if I just scream.
I scream so loud. My poor too looked at me, like, whoo,
what is wrong with her?
Speaker 1 (01:45:04):
Oh man. By the way, you mentioned that this is,
you know, issue, little family affair thing that you obviously
don't know. I think that's one of the things that
the holidays bring out, some of the times that the
the frustrations of stuff, and sometimes you almost need to
have one of those moments. I think that Anna's right,
we may have to do a little rage room do it.
Speaker 5 (01:45:24):
My friend just did it over the weekend and she
said it was glorious, just going there.
Speaker 1 (01:45:29):
Just go and do your thing. I like it. Yeah,
we're gonna We're gonna go have ourselves a little rage
room fun with Shannon. Shannon, she hides her crazy. Well,
this is Mojo in the morning, all right, It is
Mojo in the morning. On a serious note, Kep spent
(01:45:50):
the holidays with his family and you said that you
kind of noticed a little bit of a difference with Grandmama.
My grandmother.
Speaker 8 (01:45:58):
Grandmama is ninety five years old, and it was so
beautiful to see her up dancing and kicking, and she's mobiles.
She does her stretches and she's probably listening right now.
Speaker 1 (01:46:08):
So I love you, Graham.
Speaker 8 (01:46:09):
But we went to go see Wicked, and dementia is
something that I don't believe that I've had to deal
with in any of my family members or their friends.
And I don't know the signs. I don't know what
to look for, but I hear people talk about it,
and it's very prevalent in society. And when we were
at Wicked, my grandmother wanted to eat popcorn.
Speaker 1 (01:46:29):
And I love popcorn. Popcorn is its own food group
for me.
Speaker 8 (01:46:33):
And for many many years, probably ten or fifteen years,
my grandmother has not ate popcorn because of like something
in her throat, something with the popcorn kernels or the
seeds get caught in her throat or in her stomach.
Speaker 1 (01:46:44):
Sick.
Speaker 8 (01:46:45):
It's a legitimate medical thing that she deals with, and
for years she hasn't eaten popcorn. And this has been
a reason why we go see Wicket. And the first
thing she doing is eating popcorn. When I look over
and I'm like, Grandma, you don't eat popcorn, like this
is not what you're so supposed to be doing.
Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
You have a medical condition.
Speaker 8 (01:47:02):
I'm looking at it in her eyes like Grandma, you're usula,
like they get stuck or something like that.
Speaker 1 (01:47:06):
She's like, well, what you're talking about.
Speaker 8 (01:47:08):
I don't I don't have no medical She like, I
know exactly what I'm doing.
Speaker 1 (01:47:11):
I love Paulkcorn. And I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:47:14):
If it's a thing where she's old, you know what
I mean, like ninety five years old, people forget things.
She's got a lot of she's lived a hell of
a life, yeah, or if there's something more serious and
I don't know what to pay attention to. I don't
know if I should just bring it up to the family.
I don't know if I should brush this off. I
don't know if maybe I'm just webbing being it in
my mind. You see one thing and automatically it's the
worst thing in the world. But I'm like, man, this
(01:47:36):
is it's a bit concerning.
Speaker 5 (01:47:37):
Is grandmama, mom's mom or dad's Did you tell.
Speaker 1 (01:47:40):
Your mom my mom was there?
Speaker 8 (01:47:43):
And she was kind of just looking like she was
kind of taking the back by it as well, because
obviously she's aware that this has been a thing for
ten to fifteen years and just for her just to
say no, yeah and not even really connect that this
is something I have dealt with.
Speaker 1 (01:47:59):
Was like issue, but she didn't try to stop her
from eating the popcorn.
Speaker 8 (01:48:05):
For me, that's not going to happen, and she was fine. Yeah,
I haven't heard anything since.
Speaker 1 (01:48:12):
You know, It's it's tough because we have dementia and
Alzheimer's and our family and it starts younger. You know
where My brother in law got it when he was
fifty years old. He was just turning fifty years old.
So it's it's such a difference because you're a fifty
year old guy for getting things to a ninety five
year old woman forgetting things, you know what I mean.
It could also be she's ninety five years old and
(01:48:33):
she's like the hell, I've lived a good life. I
don't care if my popcorn hurts me or whatever the
deal is.
Speaker 8 (01:48:39):
I'm going that's not the conversation though, you know what
I mean, said that she was acting. Yeah, she made
it seem as though this has never been a.
Speaker 5 (01:48:47):
Part you guys. Kind of I hate that word.
Speaker 1 (01:48:50):
Yeah, literallyout.
Speaker 4 (01:48:52):
I don't think it's a bad idea to bring this
up to family for that reason, Like, has anyone else
noticed things going on? Or just like keep an eye
out for.
Speaker 1 (01:48:59):
It because this, Yeah, I would I would do that.
I would talk to your mom about it because it's,
you know, something she spends more time probably with Grandma.
You brought up all.
Speaker 8 (01:49:08):
Is there a difference between dimntioned Oldheimer's or is it
kind of like just so Alzheimer's is.
Speaker 1 (01:49:14):
Yes, there is a difference, and I don't know. I'm
not educated enough to know what the difference is. And
maybe somebody else can can talk to us about it.
But it's I will say this to you, like when
my brother in law got to diagnose with it. In
the beginning, it was like, he's got this. This is
(01:49:34):
really tough. You know, He's going to go to doctors
and they're going to try to see there's no cure
for it, you know, and these last few years he's
a shell of himself, you know. And then they go
through stages too where they go for for debt, full
stages to angry stages and stuff like that. But yeah,
I don't know what the difference is, Alex, what's up?
Speaker 15 (01:49:55):
So I'll say something.
Speaker 6 (01:49:56):
My grandma had Alzheimer and my grandpa did not. It
sounds more like my grandpa because my grandpa at ninety
four years old, had celiac Diviya couldn't eat gluten.
Speaker 15 (01:50:07):
He started eating gluten again, and.
Speaker 6 (01:50:08):
He picked up a pack of cigarettes and started smoking again,
and said, Grandpa, go what do you do?
Speaker 15 (01:50:12):
And he goes, I've lived this long.
Speaker 6 (01:50:14):
It's realistic that I don't have much longer.
Speaker 15 (01:50:16):
No matter how healthy I am, I'm going to enjoy
the last several of years.
Speaker 14 (01:50:19):
Of my life.
Speaker 15 (01:50:20):
I missed smoking and I missed gluten.
Speaker 1 (01:50:22):
So here it comes. Yeah, what so, but grandpa had
do you say he had Alzheimer's?
Speaker 15 (01:50:31):
Had grandma had a Grandpa did not?
Speaker 1 (01:50:34):
Oh, Grandpa was at the point the times of a.
Speaker 15 (01:50:37):
Lot earlier in life than ninety four.
Speaker 1 (01:50:39):
Well, also he's the caregiver too. You know how hard
it is for the caregivers of those that have you know,
Alzheimer's or dementia, which, by the way, is it into
what you were saying earlier all timers? I always said,
I don't know that you know what I mean? Like,
how did you pronounce it alex Alzheimer's al teimer? You said,
(01:50:59):
all timers? Is it all like I know, Like I'm
trying to figure out exactly and we're trying to figure
out the difference that somebody said that that there isn't
a difference in Alzheimer's. It's a form of dementia. I
don't know, is that right? I don't know, John, what's
(01:51:21):
going on? Hi? John? By, what's up, buddy?
Speaker 22 (01:51:28):
Not much?
Speaker 17 (01:51:29):
Hey, I'm calling the guys about the uh Alzheimer's there.
Speaker 1 (01:51:34):
Yeah, what what should cav do with his grandma?
Speaker 14 (01:51:38):
Well, Alzheimer's and dementia fall under the same category, and
what it is is dementia is less severe than the Alzheimer's.
My grandmother's had it. Both the women, they both died
of it. One died of dementia and the other one
died of Alzheimer's. Okay, so they're almost the same, just
that one is a lot severe. If it's just dementia,
(01:52:00):
they can live with it, and with Alzheimers they can
live a longer time. They can live like along with
it as well.
Speaker 1 (01:52:07):
Yeah, now we're getting by. What do you think that
keV should do with his grandma?
Speaker 14 (01:52:13):
I think he should have her diagnosed, Go see a
doctor and see what a doctor says in regards to it,
and then go from there and bring it up to
the family and talk to them about it.
Speaker 5 (01:52:26):
Would you is your grandma like a no doctor's type
of persons appeals here and there.
Speaker 1 (01:52:31):
Yeah, I just think at this stage, like if I'm
ninety five years old, at that point right there, just
let me live my life, you know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (01:52:39):
If I if I'm in Kevsu's I'm worried that like
if this is tip of the iceberg and this was
a medical.
Speaker 1 (01:52:46):
Thing, going, what are you going to do at that?
Speaker 5 (01:52:49):
At that point, I'm just saying I understand the worry.
So if she's one that you know, would would go
to a doctor's point, like grandma, let's let's just go
see and make sure they make you.
Speaker 1 (01:52:58):
Go through all those tasks and everything.
Speaker 4 (01:53:00):
Like that, I think you need to know if there's
more signs.
Speaker 1 (01:53:03):
First, I think it's I think at some point, does
she live by herself? Maybe she shouldn't live by herself.
I don't know, Like that's the thing I would I
would figure out. But if I'm ninety five years old
and I've gotten to that to that point, I don't
know if I want to go in and go take
a bunch of tests to figure out what my mental
capabilities are. If I'm ninety five years old, I'm just
(01:53:23):
going to live my life and have fun. We's we're
all getting tested, though, what's the downside of it, because
it's not like it's there's anything that you can do,
you know, I don't know, but at.
Speaker 5 (01:53:33):
Least then the family can be on higher alert.
Speaker 1 (01:53:38):
What's up, Jackie? Hi, what's going on?
Speaker 48 (01:53:45):
I was just going to I heard the question about
like dimansia and all.
Speaker 1 (01:53:49):
Yeah, yeah, let's get off. We found out that there's
just a form of it. But what do you think
I should do with his grandma?
Speaker 34 (01:53:58):
What I think you should do?
Speaker 48 (01:54:00):
I mean if she's ninety five, I mean, it doesn't
hurt to I mean testing.
Speaker 28 (01:54:06):
There's really no treatment for it. It progresses, so.
Speaker 35 (01:54:09):
I mean just it's more about supportive care.
Speaker 48 (01:54:12):
And learning how to kind of manage the symptoms of.
Speaker 28 (01:54:17):
Alzheimer's that will come up.
Speaker 21 (01:54:20):
I don't know, taking a class to be helpful or.
Speaker 1 (01:54:24):
Did you can I ask you a quick question? Did
you like, I know, you just kind of like said
something to her, like, grandma, what's going on? Did you
ask her again about it? Later after the movie was
over with Nah, I've fallen asleep. It was three hours
because I would ask again because then I feel bad
we're bringing it up on the radio and stuff like that,
because I would just ask her again, hey, do you
remember when you did this? You know you're not supposed
(01:54:46):
to be in that. What did you know you were
doing that? And just see what's going on? Because it
could just be she's at the movie theater and she
got the smell of popcorn in her. You know what.
Speaker 5 (01:54:54):
You used to go to movies with your grandma when
you were little, at that.
Speaker 8 (01:54:57):
Grandma a couple of times with that one. But my
other grandma was movie grandma.
Speaker 1 (01:55:00):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:55:01):
The only reason I ask is you also wonder, like,
you know how parents and grandparents will lie because they
don't want to buy you something, so like, oh I
can't have it, so we're not I don't know, just
bringing some levity to it. You always wonder, Jake, what's up?
Speaker 14 (01:55:14):
Hey?
Speaker 61 (01:55:14):
My grandfather's a Vietnam VET and he just passed away
from dementia a couple of months ago.
Speaker 1 (01:55:19):
Oh God bless them.
Speaker 61 (01:55:20):
So I certainly know what dementia is and we've experienced it.
Speaker 1 (01:55:25):
What do you think keV should do with his grandma?
Speaker 25 (01:55:29):
I think so.
Speaker 61 (01:55:30):
I have a great grandmother who's ninety five and she
just they just forget stuff.
Speaker 14 (01:55:34):
It's not the don.
Speaker 61 (01:55:35):
Common I don't think it's I know what dementia is.
It's not dementia. She's just you know, she's getting up there,
not a willing Yeah, that's all I think it is.
Speaker 1 (01:55:46):
Yeah, thank you for the call. I appreciate it. Aaron,
what's going on?
Speaker 18 (01:55:49):
Hey, So, I just wanted.
Speaker 62 (01:55:50):
To call because I'm a nurse that specializes in Jerryatrix
with dementia and Alzheimer's, And at this point, there's no
point in taking her to the doctor. Even if she
gets diagnosed with it. There's no medications, there's no cure.
It's a degenerative disorder. And just kind of keep an
eye on it. You know, she's ninety five. Let her
live her life. There's no point in, you know, doing
(01:56:12):
anything about it. So just keep an eye on it,
and if you know there's a concern, you know, bring
it up to the family. You know, at this point,
if she really had it, she would have been showing
other signs other than just some slight forgetfulness.
Speaker 1 (01:56:25):
What are some other signs?
Speaker 62 (01:56:28):
So obviously the forgetfulness changes in behavior. One minute, they're
happy and laughing in the next minute, they get a
little more agitated and irritated. Sometimes they revert back to
like childhood. It's different for everybody that was super.
Speaker 1 (01:56:45):
That kind of sounds like me. I think, I'm you
just need a sneakers. What about? What about cousin Brandy?
I saw her text pop up Paris's Brandy, cousin Brandy
here call me? Did you see that Lydia.
Speaker 5 (01:57:01):
Was Brandy with you guys?
Speaker 40 (01:57:03):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:57:03):
No, she was at Thanksgiving? Though. Does she have a take?
You think? And uh, I mean she said.
Speaker 5 (01:57:08):
Call her mom and grandmama home.
Speaker 1 (01:57:10):
Brandy drove them. Brandy drove them home. That's a good
by the way. Hold on, here's Brandy, Brandy. Hi, Brandy, Hey,
what's brand Good morning?
Speaker 57 (01:57:22):
I'm just at work list and then like I usually
do what you think?
Speaker 24 (01:57:25):
Man.
Speaker 32 (01:57:26):
So the condition she.
Speaker 57 (01:57:28):
Has is called diverticulitis with like small small seats. I
don't think the popcorn will affect it. But our grandma
is going to do what she wanted to do.
Speaker 1 (01:57:43):
So yeah, can I can I tell you something? I
have the early signs of diverticulitis, Like they told me
that when I got a colonoscope, and uh, they told
me I can't have popcorn like that too, and I
popcorn this weekend. Yeah, they don't want you to have that.
Speaker 57 (01:58:03):
Blueberries or popcorn, but yeah, like strawberry tomatoes, stuff like that.
Speaker 1 (01:58:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:58:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:58:12):
Quick question for you, Brandy, how did you feel about
the fact that Kevin would not drive mom and Grandmama
that he wanted to get drunk.
Speaker 57 (01:58:22):
He took them there. I made a deal with him
and I took my grandma home.
Speaker 25 (01:58:29):
Turn up untill.
Speaker 57 (01:58:30):
Yeah, everybody got home.
Speaker 1 (01:58:33):
I had a good time.
Speaker 25 (01:58:34):
Had Yeah, Kevin.
Speaker 57 (01:58:37):
Agree, that probably was one of our best Thanksgivings we
had in a while.
Speaker 1 (01:58:41):
I was going to ask you that. Kevin said it
was the best Thanksgiving ever. What made it so great?
Speaker 57 (01:58:47):
Well, this was the first Thanksgiving without my dad, so
I was kind of in my feelings. But just being
with everybody and seeing everybody, it really did good for
all of our hearts.
Speaker 1 (01:58:58):
That's cool, that's neat. And the food was good because
I looked at Kevin's plate, it looked like there wasn't
much for anybody else after him.
Speaker 57 (01:59:06):
Oh, the food was delicious. So yeah, shout out to
everybody that made something I made.
Speaker 18 (01:59:11):
The deviled eggs.
Speaker 63 (01:59:12):
Deviled eggs are the greatest I love eggs, by the way,
I like, I'm Thanksgiving and after a bunch of appetizers
like I like, you know, I like the shrimp cocktail,
the deviled eggs, a little charcouterie board, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 57 (01:59:29):
We had that, we had everything. It was really nice.
Speaker 1 (01:59:32):
And then I eat so much of that by the
time food comes. Man, oh man, I didn't take my
shot this week, so uh eggs, Like I'm going, yeah,
all right, Brady, Well we'll talk. I don't know, I'll talk.
I got to talk about that coming up here in
a second too. But we love your grandmama. We love you,
(01:59:54):
and I'm so sorry about your loss.
Speaker 34 (01:59:58):
I love you.
Speaker 45 (01:59:58):
I have to say it like we love you too.
Speaker 4 (02:00:02):
We love you too.
Speaker 1 (02:00:03):
All right, bye, b y, all right, thank you bye.
Speaker 2 (02:00:07):
This year, I'm asking Santa for a big fat bank
account and a slim body. I hope he doesn't mix
those up like last year.
Speaker 3 (02:00:14):
Marry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (02:00:17):
All right, it's Mojo in the Morning. I actually have
a question, and stay Crystal in the studio so you
can participate in this one. Here. I have a buddy
of mine that just started dating a girl within like
the last week week and a half or so, and
we were all having a group conversation in our guys
group text about him now having a girlfriend and how
(02:00:38):
this is like the worst time to actually pick up
a new relationship because now you have to make a
decision do you buy that person a Christmas gift? So
here's the question to ask. We're within the month period
of Christmas, right, So we're within that or closing in
on that. If you start a relationship within a month
(02:01:00):
of Christmas, do you buy them a Christmas gift? And
if so, how big do you go in Christmas gifts?
Speaker 46 (02:01:09):
Gift?
Speaker 1 (02:01:09):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (02:01:09):
Yeah, but if them, But.
Speaker 5 (02:01:12):
It cannot it's such a fine line. It cannot be
over the top. It has to just be like a
good little something thoughtful.
Speaker 1 (02:01:20):
Yeah, it's got to be intentional, you got it? What
what is What is an intentional and thoughtful gift? That's
not the top.
Speaker 8 (02:01:26):
It depends on I mean, you got to know your person.
It's going to be different for everybody.
Speaker 4 (02:01:29):
What would you get me?
Speaker 8 (02:01:31):
I don't like you like that, but I mean I probably,
I mean, it's give the only the only reason, the
only reason I said.
Speaker 1 (02:01:38):
I wasn't trying to holl you.
Speaker 8 (02:01:39):
And the only reason I say that is because I
would have to see you in that light to be
able to pick up on certain things about you that
would speak to who you are.
Speaker 1 (02:01:47):
If I was just a little bit about me, I
mean yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:01:50):
But I'm saying not in that way though, Like I
would just be thinking about something social media related.
Speaker 4 (02:01:54):
Take it off.
Speaker 1 (02:01:54):
Well, I'm just saying I would be thinking about some
social media related but that probably wouldn't like speak to you, like,
would you buy for him? You know, he does good
or he does well whatever the word is good or
well he does that? And would you buy her? Would
you buy her clothing? Would you buy her a piece
of jewelry but a small piece of jewelry, don't go
(02:02:14):
would you buy her Apple AirPods?
Speaker 31 (02:02:16):
Like?
Speaker 1 (02:02:16):
Would you? I wouldn't even do anything like that. What
would you get her?
Speaker 60 (02:02:19):
Like?
Speaker 1 (02:02:19):
What would you? What would you guys want?
Speaker 4 (02:02:21):
Like a massage or something?
Speaker 1 (02:02:22):
I feel really yeah, there's a massage sending a message.
I wouldn't exact.
Speaker 8 (02:02:27):
Yeah, I'm gonna say like, honestly, So when I first
started dating a girl, she it was sharial.
Speaker 1 (02:02:33):
So I'm first started dating Scherill.
Speaker 8 (02:02:35):
We started dating like I think we officially got together
in like November, and Christmas was right there, and now
I do think I may have done. But I bought her,
like some ug boots because it was winter outside, so
I bought her some boots. And then she really enjoyed whiteboarding,
like that was something that she really enjoyed to do,
not only for work but for her personal goals and stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:02:51):
So I bought her a bunch of whiteboard stuff white
whiteboard like expra markers and stead like. But I'm saying
this is for her. That's like the least romantic for
you is some what would you like some gluten pretzels,
like like I went to Staples and I got you off.
(02:03:15):
But her, though, she lit up for it. And that's
what you gotta do. You gotta find your person what
they like. When did you guys start to You and
your husband start dating?
Speaker 5 (02:03:23):
So Wes and I started dating, I mean going out,
you know, in September.
Speaker 1 (02:03:28):
Okay, what was the first Christmas gift? You remember?
Speaker 5 (02:03:31):
He gave me a really really super nice bracelet for Christmas?
Speaker 1 (02:03:36):
Oh yeah, Pandora, No, it.
Speaker 5 (02:03:40):
Was I know, it was really nice. I guess what
he wanted. I mean, I wasn't I wasn't giving it
back or saying that.
Speaker 1 (02:03:53):
What did you get him? You remember?
Speaker 5 (02:03:55):
I don't remember. I hope he remembered. I don't remember.
Speaker 1 (02:03:59):
Yeah, And Natasha, I want some advice for this. What
do you think?
Speaker 33 (02:04:04):
I think that you could get her tickets to like
something you guys could do together, like maybe like the
Holiday Light or like maybe if she's in the like
you know, concerts, maybe you could like go see Detroit
Symphony Orchestra or something like a fun date that's not.
Speaker 5 (02:04:20):
Like Actually, that's a really good idea, like an experience
gift of something that you guys could do together. I
love that idea.
Speaker 1 (02:04:26):
If you give that gift, hold on to the tickets
because if you're not together and when the event happened, like,
don't let her have the actual tickets because I've seen
guys get screwed that way. Juliana, what's up?
Speaker 5 (02:04:39):
Hey guys?
Speaker 18 (02:04:39):
Good morning, more good morning.
Speaker 54 (02:04:42):
So my birthday is right before Christmas, and my boyfriend
and I when we first started dating. For my birthday,
he got me a shower brush and for Christmas for Christmas,
he got me one.
Speaker 18 (02:04:59):
Single bottle of dial body walks.
Speaker 5 (02:05:06):
Now, he was just that.
Speaker 1 (02:05:17):
Check out Okay, Juliana, tell me that you're not with
this guy still, are you?
Speaker 34 (02:05:23):
Oh we're going on seven years?
Speaker 5 (02:05:25):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (02:05:26):
What did he get you last year?
Speaker 18 (02:05:30):
So now he lets me pick my gifts, so he
gets me a massage every year and then he gets
me like clothes or concert tickets or whatever I ask
for this year. It's an iPad.
Speaker 1 (02:05:43):
Okay, that is Yeah, that's nice. He's elevated, he's moved
up in this world. I love though this. He didn't
even get you in the same year. Brush and the soap,
like you had to actually wash yourself with that brush
for one year with no soap with it.
Speaker 34 (02:06:00):
No, it was only a week.
Speaker 18 (02:06:01):
My birthday is a week before Christmas.
Speaker 1 (02:06:03):
Oh, okay, all right. He bought them at the same time.
It just gave him separate Alison, what's going on?
Speaker 24 (02:06:09):
I just feel like that's how people end up in
situationships because after a month of knowing somebody, I don't
think you should be gifting them anything for Christmas.
Speaker 1 (02:06:20):
I agree on that, and I said this, I said,
you got to be careful, and here's the reason why
you got to be careful that you give something you
I think you should do something for her, But I
think you got to be careful because I think it's
going to set a precedent that she's only dating you
for gifts. And also you're putting pressure on her on
what she's gonna do. I don't like holding back my
(02:06:40):
love though, Yeah, and.
Speaker 14 (02:06:42):
That's what you do.
Speaker 1 (02:06:44):
Is your love monetarily done?
Speaker 36 (02:06:45):
No?
Speaker 8 (02:06:46):
But I mean, like, I think one of my love
language is gift given.
Speaker 1 (02:06:49):
I appreciate giving.
Speaker 24 (02:06:50):
After a month of knowing somebody.
Speaker 5 (02:06:52):
If you see something that really you.
Speaker 1 (02:07:00):
Have a scrub brush. All right, Alison, you take care
of yourself. Okay, my favorite I should let you guys
read this group text these guys because these guys are
vicious to the single guys in the group text. Like
the single guys in the group text, we all kind
(02:07:20):
of live vicariously through them. And half these guys pick
up these girls at what's that place in Birmingham Market Now.
Speaker 5 (02:07:28):
It's usually market Friday.
Speaker 1 (02:07:32):
Friday at Market. If you're a girl that wants to
meet some of these goofy friends of mine, go to
go Friday to market and.
Speaker 5 (02:07:38):
Just hang out any single friends that.
Speaker 1 (02:07:40):
Are like, I think they're good guys.
Speaker 5 (02:07:43):
I have my single friend that I got it define good. Well,
I guess they're friends with him. I would say this,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (02:07:53):
Yeah, you know they're good guys. They probably all live
by each other. That's the many problems.
Speaker 5 (02:07:57):
Let me see pictures.
Speaker 1 (02:07:58):
Here's the problem with the guy that I know that
are single. They so they're single, they do well. They
live in Birmingham and they've already dated every single girl
that probably is in that town too. It sounds like,
you know what I mean, But no, seriously, and that's
the problem. You guys have a bubble. There's like a
bubble over there, so everybody's in that same bubble. Hey,
(02:08:20):
be nice to everybody.
Speaker 2 (02:08:22):
You never know who your secret Santa is.
Speaker 1 (02:08:27):
This is Mojo in.
Speaker 2 (02:08:28):
The Morning, not that act to the only thing Michigan
and Ohio could agree on.
Speaker 1 (02:08:34):
Mojo in the Morning. It's Mojo in the Morning show.
I was noticing on my way into work this morning
what I thought was and I kind of had one
of those moments where I'm driving and I drive in
every day and I always put my GPS ways on
because I always want the police warnings, because you know,
I usually drive my car like I steal it, you
(02:08:56):
know what I mean. I drive down the lodge, and
you got to because you got to try to be
able to keep up with everybody because there is no
speed limit on that thing. And I'm driving and as
I'm driving, I'm going, God, ways isn't showing me there's
a cop up here? And I look and I'm pulling
up towards a car, and I'm like kind of going, oh,
I'm gonna slow down a little bit because I don't
want to pass a cop. And it wasn't a cop,
(02:09:16):
but it looked like a cop car. It was a
person with their car decorated full of lights. Oh, I see,
So it was like wrapped in lights like you would
wrap a Christmas tree, but wrapped around what was a
Chevy Equinox. Okay, all right, not a cop car. It was, Well,
it shouldn't be and I don't think it. I don't
(02:09:37):
think that the lights that this person had it should
be legal because it looks like because I think there
were there were reddish lights. They had red lights. And
to me, when I think red lights or blue lights,
I think of a firefight, firefighter car or a police car.
But what is up with the people these days that
are decorating their cars?
Speaker 5 (02:09:55):
I see more and more every year. I feel like
with like the antlers of nose or the people with
the jeep that have the spare tire on the back
and they make it look like a big wreath.
Speaker 1 (02:10:03):
Those are fun. I support those really. Yeah, I like that.
I like the little Rudolph No's, I like the antlers.
I like everything this Shannon just said. Once you start
getting into the lights, I think that's dangerous territory. I
remember when I was.
Speaker 8 (02:10:15):
Younger, I thought it was illegal for like people to
hang dice from their rear view because they said it
was like obstruction of your vision or something like that.
Speaker 1 (02:10:22):
I don't know how to hell you get.
Speaker 5 (02:10:23):
Away with Why aren't you not supposed.
Speaker 1 (02:10:25):
To do that for them? Did you get away with lights?
I feel like I feel like I'm being judgmental and
judging them. But I feel like lights on your car
to me is a little much. I don't know. It
just seems like it's too festive. I'm not into it,
Like you don't like it's too holidays. It's too festive.
(02:10:46):
It's like, you know, keep that for your home or
for your you know, your office space, you know what
I mean. I don't necessarily know if you need to
be dressed. Were these lights blinking or were they just on? No,
they were Thank god they weren't blinking, because I think
anybody does blinking lights has a psychotic problem. Like I
think there's a little psychosis issue going on there. I mean,
(02:11:07):
none of you guys have blinking lights, do you? Hell no,
I mean blinking lights to me is the mistake that
somebody made. Right, he's even in the house. I don't
like you like blinking lights. I had them all yesterday.
I bought I bought this large are you an eight
mile strip? Clubs of trucks? I bought this large like
hanging light thing.
Speaker 8 (02:11:27):
They kind of look like icycle icicles, and I hung
them up in my house yesterday and they have like
ten different speeds. I guess you could say so like
there's a steel setting and then you can flip it.
Speaker 1 (02:11:38):
And it was blinking yesterday. It wasn't a bad thing.
Speaker 5 (02:11:40):
I don't think blinking, But I like I have the
twinkle lights on my bushes.
Speaker 1 (02:11:44):
What a twinkle? What's the difference between twinkle and blinking?
Speaker 5 (02:11:46):
They're just they're really soft.
Speaker 1 (02:11:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (02:11:49):
They don't They don't bug me because blinking lights, do
you actually bug me.
Speaker 1 (02:11:52):
But they twinkle like just a little tiny band. Okay,
I'm okay, I'm okay with that, Like the blinking like
and then I hate when they're blinking in their off
beat or they're off you know, kilter, like where one
lights one tree is blinking and then the next one's not.
Or on a Christmas tree in your home, you got
the top blinking and then it goes down to the
bottom and it goes in the middle, and it's like
(02:12:14):
there's no coordinate it, like at least if you had it,
like at least if it's to a song, like say
you have like a Christmas song playing and it's like
those homes that sometimes do it where it's like Trans
Siberian Orchestra song playing on you know what I mean?
Do you you and your what does your blink look like?
It's just like a fight blink blink blink's like a
(02:12:35):
it doesn't ever, it doesn't ever annoy you.
Speaker 4 (02:12:38):
Yesterday, have you seen the houses that have all the
lights that.
Speaker 12 (02:12:41):
Like go to the music, And yeah, that's kind of
like different though, do y'all Do y'all think that like
projected decorations are real? Like are you a fan of
that stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:12:54):
It's really Yeah, those those an inflatable decoration.
Speaker 5 (02:12:58):
Like the inflatables are fun.
Speaker 1 (02:12:59):
What do you decorations? And inflatable decorations are like the
kids who are Halloween wearing inflatable cost I like.
Speaker 5 (02:13:06):
Going past the house. You can tell they collect a
new one every year and they just have soul. Many
there's a house of my neighborhood. Every year she gets
a new one, and I kind of love it to me.
Speaker 1 (02:13:17):
You know what those things look like when they're not inflated,
They look like you have trash on your front and lawn.
They look like nobody picked up the mess from the
night before. What's up, Rebecca? How you doing?
Speaker 63 (02:13:29):
Okay?
Speaker 28 (02:13:29):
So I was just thinking I saw the story a
couple of years ago somebody who covered their car with.
Speaker 25 (02:13:34):
Lights and when they removed those.
Speaker 45 (02:13:36):
Lights, the paint was just scratched.
Speaker 25 (02:13:39):
They ruined their entire paint job because of those little.
Speaker 32 (02:13:42):
Balds across the car all the time.
Speaker 1 (02:13:45):
You know what, that's what you get for being you know,
too festive?
Speaker 14 (02:13:48):
Right right?
Speaker 52 (02:13:50):
Exactly?
Speaker 1 (02:13:51):
Yeah? Or what do you think of h what do
you think of blinking lights? We were just talking about that.
Kev's got blinking lights in his house.
Speaker 25 (02:13:59):
I like twink.
Speaker 45 (02:14:00):
The blinking lights kind of like spas me out a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:14:03):
Yeah, I'm gonna have an epileptic seizure if I go
over and visit.
Speaker 34 (02:14:08):
Him, you know exactly.
Speaker 1 (02:14:11):
Yeah, I don't know, you know, and maybe you know
it's it's very grinchy of me to not like certain
types of people's Christmas decorations, especially the ones that Shannon
and Kevin have. It sounds like with the inflatables and.
Speaker 5 (02:14:24):
The I don't have inflatables. I just like them, but my.
Speaker 4 (02:14:26):
Parents have inflatables. My nephews love them.
Speaker 1 (02:14:29):
You only like inflatable, Shannon, because you don't want to
offend your neighbor, who you probably think has got a
trashy front house lawn. Wait what you said your neighbor had?
Speaker 17 (02:14:38):
No?
Speaker 5 (02:14:38):
I mean I know them personally. I actually really like
they do it. They have a tradition with their kids
where every year they vote and get a new one.
Speaker 1 (02:14:44):
Yeah, but what are bad inflatables? You just don't like
them at all. I just don't like this Santa Claus.
First off, you cannot do an inflatable nativity scene. That's sacrilegious.
Speaker 5 (02:14:54):
I've never seen that.
Speaker 1 (02:14:55):
I've seen some people with an inflatable Nativity scene. I'm like, okay,
you still wrap Jesus, Jesus. No, Jesus is right now,
blow up Jesus questioning you and wishing that you weren't Christian. No,
I don't like that. And the inflatables I see all
the time are always big fat inflatable Santa Claus is
with like a reindeer, and they they've been up for
(02:15:16):
a few seasons and the weather hasn't treated him right,
you know. Or you don't have a proper lighting in
the in ther with spotlights on them, you know, so
they you scare you. That looks like there's like somebody
standing in your front lawn. I saw a.
Speaker 8 (02:15:29):
Huge turkey inflatable with a lion's jersey, and then they
threw a set of hat on it.
Speaker 1 (02:15:36):
I thought that was cool. Okay, your neighborhood made my neighborhood.
We got an ho a issue with that. What's up, Christian?
How you doing?
Speaker 64 (02:15:46):
Hey, how's it going, Mojo?
Speaker 1 (02:15:47):
Good buddy? What's going on?
Speaker 17 (02:15:50):
So I wrapped my truck in Christmas lights and I
even went as far to put a Christmas tree.
Speaker 22 (02:15:54):
In the back.
Speaker 1 (02:15:56):
Okay, you actually have a real Christmas tree in the
back of your truck.
Speaker 22 (02:16:00):
Yeah, it's like a six foot like Christmas tree that
you would put in a living room, strapped to the
back in the truck bed.
Speaker 1 (02:16:07):
Is that legal to have that? Like, couldn't that thing
fly out and hit me if I'm driving behind you?
Speaker 24 (02:16:12):
Yes?
Speaker 34 (02:16:13):
And no.
Speaker 22 (02:16:13):
I got a bunch of wire ties on that and
ratchet straps.
Speaker 14 (02:16:17):
I talked with a cop about it once I did
it and got all the lights and stuff on there,
and he told me it was just based off of
the cop that you get.
Speaker 4 (02:16:26):
They really they can get you for it.
Speaker 17 (02:16:28):
But he said he personally would have pulled me over
for it.
Speaker 1 (02:16:32):
Oh, Like, if I was a cop, I would pull
you over just because I'd be worried that you're gonna
you know, it's like kind of a person driving with
a mattress that's could fly out of their back. Yeah,
I would that would that scare me? How many times
have people driven their Christmas trees home from the Christmas
tree lot and had lost to Christmas trees?
Speaker 5 (02:16:52):
Anybody of having a Christmas tree on the top of
your car is very real.
Speaker 1 (02:16:56):
Christian has it all the time. He's got the tree
right there in the back of the bed and full
on decorated. What's up, Robin? Hi, Hi there, how are
you good? What's going on? Nothing?
Speaker 29 (02:17:10):
I just heard you talking about the ornaments hanging from like.
Speaker 25 (02:17:13):
The rear view mirror.
Speaker 47 (02:17:14):
Yeah, and I have a I have a penis that
hangs from my mirror.
Speaker 5 (02:17:17):
A penis penis?
Speaker 1 (02:17:20):
Is that your missletone?
Speaker 29 (02:17:21):
It's not a Christmas penis.
Speaker 39 (02:17:22):
It's got a little sun hat on it.
Speaker 29 (02:17:25):
My cousin got it for me for my fiftieth birthday.
Speaker 5 (02:17:27):
Have you ever been pulled over for it?
Speaker 29 (02:17:30):
I have not.
Speaker 39 (02:17:31):
I have been.
Speaker 29 (02:17:33):
I uh went out with a guy and he asked
told me he didn't want to see because of the
male appendage I had hanging from my mirror.
Speaker 25 (02:17:41):
Have you named it?
Speaker 29 (02:17:43):
It's not named?
Speaker 1 (02:17:47):
Hey, Robin, can you do as a favor? And how
old you have? You have kids?
Speaker 34 (02:17:53):
I do?
Speaker 1 (02:17:53):
Can you videotape yourself?
Speaker 2 (02:17:55):
Like?
Speaker 1 (02:17:55):
Can you oh you're thirty? Okay, you're solder? How about this?
Could you pick up shame his daughter Lucy and son Smith?
And will you go to the drop off lines at
their schools and just see what people's reactions are to
be drop an Robin? Dropping them off with the penis
hanging from the garden the greatest. That would be an
(02:18:17):
incredible one. What's going on? How you doing, Josh?
Speaker 6 (02:18:21):
We're being a scrooge Mojo, and let people be festive.
Speaker 5 (02:18:24):
He's been a scrooge all week. Come on, let him
finish out the week being a scrooge.
Speaker 1 (02:18:28):
Josh.
Speaker 23 (02:18:29):
You do the breaking and entering. It's so good.
Speaker 1 (02:18:31):
Why why end it like this.
Speaker 5 (02:18:34):
Disappointment in your voice?
Speaker 1 (02:18:36):
Which one, Josh, bothers you the most? My coming down
on people that have their cars decorated, or the inflatables
in their front yard, or the blinking lights them all
of them, all right, But be honest with you, is
there any of them that bother you?
Speaker 6 (02:18:53):
I have a yard pool of inflatables, and that's only
because I have a neighborhood full of little kids.
Speaker 1 (02:18:59):
A good guy. You're that guy, huh you?
Speaker 15 (02:19:03):
Sometimes?
Speaker 1 (02:19:07):
By the way, the police are watching right now. Take
care of Josh. I appreciate you about it.
Speaker 2 (02:19:18):
And Grand Rabbit, hard radio stations, real people, real lives,
real fun.
Speaker 1 (02:19:25):
Mojo in the Morning, guarantee human time now here on
Mojo in the Morning. For am I the a hole
And this is something that's easy for you to do
if you would like to be on am I The
A Hole. It's where you can tell us what's going
on in your life, that you got a little bit
of a worry that you might get called out for,
(02:19:47):
and then we'll bring it to the air and we'll
open it up to our listeners as well as us
for a little piece of advice. You may get called
an a hole, but please don't say the full word,
because we can't do that on our radio show. This
week's Am I The A Hole.
Speaker 5 (02:20:01):
Hi, So, I.
Speaker 21 (02:20:03):
Turned thirty this year and if my boyfriend doesn't propose
to me by the end of the year, I'm breaking
up with him.
Speaker 1 (02:20:08):
Wow, that just seems pretty cut and dry. Turning thirty
this year and if boyfriend will not propose by the
end of the year, he's got an ultimatum. Oh, she's
breaking up with him. How long her name is, Angiehi? Angie?
Speaker 18 (02:20:23):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (02:20:24):
How long have you guys been together? Like?
Speaker 61 (02:20:28):
Four years?
Speaker 1 (02:20:29):
Okay, that's a good amount of time. Did you tell
him this or is this just something that you know
for yourself that if he doesn't do this, like, does
he have an ultimatum on his hands? Or is this
just your time? Frame.
Speaker 4 (02:20:43):
Yeah, No, he knows.
Speaker 34 (02:20:44):
I've been very clear.
Speaker 5 (02:20:46):
Oh wow, So you guys have talked about getting engaged
in the in you know, over the past couple of
years or months.
Speaker 21 (02:20:53):
Yeah, I mean, like we talk about marriage. He said
that he wanted to repose for like a year now,
and I'm just like, I'm tired of no accent.
Speaker 34 (02:21:01):
You know.
Speaker 5 (02:21:02):
Have you gone ring shopping?
Speaker 21 (02:21:05):
Well no, but I'm not doing that, Like he needs
to do that.
Speaker 1 (02:21:08):
Oh so you don't want to say so, and what
your ring is going to be? You You're going to
let him go do it? But you don't even know
because I would think that nowadays guys pretty much are
going to bring their girl with just to at least
get an idea. Yeah, so he's not he's not even
thinking about this.
Speaker 5 (02:21:23):
Sure, Okay, he knows.
Speaker 8 (02:21:25):
Is this like, are you happy in a relationship? Is
this the the only deal breaker for you?
Speaker 21 (02:21:32):
I'm very happy, but this turns me off, you know,
like if you want something, get it, you know.
Speaker 5 (02:21:39):
I think your situation is a little different because you
guys have talked about getting engaged, so it's definitely a thought.
It's like, it's not like he's not interested in getting married.
Or committing that way, or as I know, we've talked
to couples before who that's not even a topic of conversation.
I just wonder why, if he's been if he's if
he's been safe for a year now that he wants
(02:22:02):
to do and it hasn't happened, what's the.
Speaker 1 (02:22:05):
I have a different thought, and I'm gonna tell you
my thought when we call it when it comes to idahole,
I think if you were to have said to us,
I want to get married by the end of the
year or get engaged to by the end of the year,
and if I don't get engaged to by the end
of the year, then I'm going to break up. If
you would have said, when I asked the question, does
he know that? No, he doesn't know that. But that's
(02:22:26):
just in my head, I wouldn't say you're an a hole.
I think the fact that you told him that he
has to do it is an ultimatum. And I think
that no matter you guys been together for four years
or one year. I think the problem with that is
you just took away the sincerity or the him wanting
(02:22:50):
to do it. Now you made it, you need to
do it.
Speaker 5 (02:22:52):
I actually agree with you. And the thing that I
hate about ultimatums that have been vocalized is that now
if I were you, Angie, I would get a little
nervous that he's he's doing it because he feels like
he has to, not because he actually wants to.
Speaker 1 (02:23:07):
And you know what else, Shannon, I think that it
will come up one time or two or four or
twenty eight in their relationship.
Speaker 5 (02:23:14):
It's something to be resentful.
Speaker 8 (02:23:16):
Yeah, you want the relationship, You want the relationship to
progress naturally. You don't want to force somebody into becoming
somebody that they're not. That's a whole another sund probably.
Speaker 5 (02:23:25):
That being said, if I've been in a relationship for
four years and we've talked about getting engaged, and we've
looked at rings on Pinterest or whatever, I'm also going,
why hasn't he In the back of my head as
a woman, I know how I would feel about that,
and I'd be going, why.
Speaker 1 (02:23:41):
Not yet, Gil, what's up? Am I? The A hole
is Angie and a.
Speaker 40 (02:23:46):
Hale morning Mojo on the team partial partially the A
hole because marriage is of out compromise, so it's not
going to be the way you want it to be.
All the time and you have to grow and understand that,
and just not that she gives them an ultimatum. Shayna
kind of stole my thunder. If she gives him the ultimatum,
(02:24:07):
she's going to make him do it before he.
Speaker 1 (02:24:10):
Is totally, totally ready.
Speaker 40 (02:24:12):
And it's going to be downhill from that point. So
I think she should exercise a little bit more patience
with him, communicate with him and let him know how
important it is, and then go with him for the rings.
Because guys, you got to spell it out for him.
So don't say I showed you a ring on tinterest.
You may have Everyboddy know, hey, honey, let's go ring
shopping and then show him what you want. So sometimes
(02:24:35):
you have to lead us, but still, you know, give
us direction and then we'll take it from there.
Speaker 1 (02:24:40):
I agree with you start yep, because.
Speaker 40 (02:24:43):
If you get that ring on your finger physically and
he sees it and you light up, now the wheels
are turning, the ball's gonna be rolling the way you
want it to be.
Speaker 1 (02:24:52):
I agree with you on the case of bringing her
in to go look at the rings. Don't you show
a picture because there'll be some other complaint that will
come up about the ring. But I don't like the
idea that I don't like the idea that she told
him that by the end of the year he's got
to do this thing. I just think that he's going
to feel like he was forced into it. Amanda, what's
(02:25:13):
up hi the morning?
Speaker 48 (02:25:16):
I think she is not the ahole because you know,
I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (02:25:20):
What about we're not worried about him being the ahole?
Is she the a hole?
Speaker 25 (02:25:23):
Is?
Speaker 48 (02:25:26):
No, she's not if you already set up like a
conversation with your person and he said, this is how
long I'm willing to be in a relationship before I
see it moving forward or before we take the steps,
and that's your own boundary. Why you just need to
know the relationship.
Speaker 43 (02:25:41):
Is going somewhere.
Speaker 48 (02:25:42):
It's not weird to dring someone along by saying, oh,
I want to.
Speaker 1 (02:25:45):
But I you know, what do you think ahead? What
do you think about her telling him though that that's
what she's she wants him to do?
Speaker 48 (02:25:55):
Well, I that's what I told my husband that I
had a set time frame in mind, and if it
didn't happen and we weren't pursuing each other or going
further in our relationship, then.
Speaker 37 (02:26:04):
We what were we doing?
Speaker 1 (02:26:07):
So you told him he had to do this? And
does he ever use that against you in any kind
of court of law?
Speaker 48 (02:26:14):
No, not at all, No, no, no. Because I had a
time frame that I wanted to spend with my partner
before we took steps into furthering our relationship, and that
was just something that I had in mind. Him he
had known from the beginning.
Speaker 1 (02:26:27):
How long.
Speaker 45 (02:26:30):
Eight years?
Speaker 1 (02:26:31):
Okay? And when did when? When did you give him
the ultimatum?
Speaker 48 (02:26:34):
And what was he It wasn't like an ultimatum. It
was more of like a this is my time frame
that I think is acceptable. And it started to come
up on that time frame of I don't want to
waste more time if it's not going to go anywhere.
And I already knew I wanted marriage and he knew,
and we both wanted the same thing.
Speaker 57 (02:26:50):
It's just wasn't happening.
Speaker 1 (02:26:52):
And I think that there's ways to get that from
them before without giving like the actual date. Like I mean,
you know who are the marrying type and you know
who aren't. And if the guy's not an acting type
of guy, if he's an inaction kind of guy, do
you really want to marry that. I honestly, I don't
know if you want to be in that relationship. What's up, Mike,
(02:27:13):
How you doing morning? How you guys doing good? Do
you think she's an a hole?
Speaker 6 (02:27:19):
Absolutely well?
Speaker 64 (02:27:27):
Being together for four years and you're gonna leave someone
because maybe they're not ready to be in that type
of relationship. So basically give him an ultimatum after four
years and just throw all that away as completely wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:27:43):
See, I don't I don't think that that's that's what
makes her an a whole. I don't think that's the
four year part in her throwing away the relationship, because
she has a say in this too. I think the
a whole part in her is how she presented it
to him.
Speaker 64 (02:27:58):
Absolutely and at the end of the day, it's just
a piece of paper too.
Speaker 1 (02:28:01):
So well, I disagree with that, but I mean it's
it also some people think a covenant and you know,
but I I but I Mike, I'm gonna tell you, Mike,
you're your single guy. No, I'm married as well your wife.
Speaker 5 (02:28:16):
How long did you date before you guys got engaged?
Speaker 64 (02:28:20):
Uh, we were together about I don't know about the
same time for four or five years.
Speaker 1 (02:28:25):
Do you think your wife's going to be happy when
she finds out that you say, it's just a piece
of a piece of paper. Oh, I've told her. And
plus you don't listen to the radio, but I told her,
so I'll just.
Speaker 8 (02:28:35):
Be careful throwing away a perfect person because they don't
fit your marriage.
Speaker 1 (02:28:39):
Tom. I think though that this though keV sometimes calls
out the people who are the imperfect people too, Like,
I think, when it comes to you, so side.
Speaker 8 (02:28:46):
Was perfect, So I'm the only thing that will make
me perfect is if I say I'm going to marry you.
Speaker 1 (02:28:51):
No, but I think that it's it's what makes her
also happy too, Like there are some people that don't
ever want to get married, and God bless them, you
know what I mean, Like that's their thing, But then
there are others that that's not what they see their
story being. And I think that those that don't see
themselves getting married should they should fit the same story
(02:29:12):
for sure.
Speaker 8 (02:29:13):
I just want to say, if you already have a
perfect love story and the only thing that isn't perfect
is that part, then you could find that part with
someone else, but everything else won't be perfect.
Speaker 1 (02:29:23):
Yeah, I uh, And I listen, I agree one hundred percent.
And this is one of those make or break type situations.
This is either going to be a fantastic thing for
her this year. But even now going to add, I'm like, yeah,
you got Bruce, what's.
Speaker 34 (02:29:38):
Up we're going on?
Speaker 13 (02:29:40):
I just want to say I think she hate I
want to sell you to hate hole. But since that's category,
I think that because a lot of people throw away
their relationship, I think they might to get something new
out there. But guess what the new person that you think.
Speaker 1 (02:29:51):
You won't do they want to marry you.
Speaker 23 (02:29:52):
Do They think you marriage material.
Speaker 13 (02:29:55):
It's better off than with what you got before you
are hinted with nothing and then be having too event.
Speaker 1 (02:30:00):
You know, isn't it amazing all these guys that are
calling up this is unbelievable relationship. He's ad a burning
hand better than That's kind of what he said. What's
up Tim? I another guy?
Speaker 47 (02:30:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (02:30:14):
Yeah, I just wanted to comment.
Speaker 20 (02:30:16):
I figure this is going to be drawn out till
the last day.
Speaker 17 (02:30:20):
Of this year.
Speaker 1 (02:30:21):
I would hope, I hope he takes.
Speaker 17 (02:30:26):
It's going to be December thirty December, that's home.
Speaker 1 (02:30:30):
That would be the greatest moment.
Speaker 2 (02:30:35):
Christmas time when I send the Merry Christmas text and
the response is who is this? I don't have this number.
Speaker 3 (02:30:41):

Speaker 1 (02:33:12):
Hey hey Ryan. First off, I apologize to you if
you get in trouble with Abby for one even second
that there's a girl knocking on your door this early
in the morning and going Hi, Can I talk to
Ryan please?
Speaker 23 (02:33:24):

Speaker 32 (02:33:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:33:27):
Hey, coach Ryan, That's what I'm gonna call you. This
is the Mojo in the Morning show, and we want
you to know that we received a letter about you
for our Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program. And can
I have the letter read by one of the moms
that wrote it?
Speaker 34 (02:33:44):
Mile?
Speaker 1 (02:33:45):
Are you ready? Yeah, here you go, Ryan, take a listen.
Speaker 34 (02:33:49):
Dear Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 42 (02:33:51):
My name is Devin Fritzler, and I'm writing to you
on behalf of Ryan Galloway and his entire family for
your breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program. I met Ryan
around two years ago when he became my oldest.
Speaker 34 (02:34:04):
Daughter's travel soccer coach.
Speaker 42 (02:34:07):
Shortly after we met Ryan for the first time and
my daughter became one of his players, we lost my
husband and my daughter's father.
Speaker 34 (02:34:17):
Tragically and suddenly.
Speaker 25 (02:34:24):
Ryan was so quick.
Speaker 18 (02:34:31):
To offer my daughter a scholarship in order to.
Speaker 42 (02:34:35):
Allow her to still play in our time of need.
Ryan was so fast because he knew that she loved
soccer and that she needed this. He was so fast
to scholarship her and he has done everything he could
to help me as a mom.
Speaker 34 (02:34:54):
Provide that for my daughter. Ryan is also a friend.
Speaker 42 (02:35:00):
He always supports me as a sport parent. He always
keeps my daughter in mind for me on and office
of field.
Speaker 25 (02:35:07):
He helps me out, He always has my back.
Speaker 42 (02:35:10):
Ryan has been a soccer coach for the Good Soccer
Club for over twenty years.
Speaker 34 (02:35:15):
We can just feel the fact.
Speaker 35 (02:35:16):
That he loves every single one of his players and
all of us as family.
Speaker 42 (02:35:22):
Last year, Ryan had a terrible accident when he fell
over twenty feet.
Speaker 25 (02:35:26):
Off of the ladder onto his back.
Speaker 42 (02:35:28):
Suffering injuries including broken ribs, skull fractures, brain bleeds, and many.
Speaker 21 (02:35:33):
Other numerous things. For the past year, he has.
Speaker 42 (02:35:36):
Been suffering in silence as his health continues to decline.
Ryan finally just confided in his wife Abby that things
have not improved and they've only gotten worse. Ryan suffers
every day an immense pain and confusion as things have just.
Speaker 25 (02:35:53):
Not improved to make matters worse.
Speaker 42 (02:35:56):
Ryan was recently let go from his longtime job, which
has put as furious strain on his family. Ryanan and
Nabby would never ask for help, but they are currently
behind on their mortgage, their bills, and with Christmas coming,
none of us can imagine the stress that is hanging
over their heads. We are one big soccer family, Mojo,
(02:36:18):
and we really wanted to do something to show this
sweet family that they are loved and supported. All we
want to do is help them keep a roof over
their kids' heads and.
Speaker 25 (02:36:28):
Have a magical Christmas.
Speaker 34 (02:36:31):
We know that you can help.
Speaker 25 (02:36:32):
Us make this happen.
Speaker 34 (02:36:33):
Sincerely, Devin.
Speaker 1 (02:36:36):
Wow, Ryan, that's pretty especially you are amazing. As I
sit here in the studio, I think to myself, there's
only one other thing that I love doing, and that
was coaching. I love coaching. I know how much you
must love coaching, because you don't do it for as
many years as you do if you don't love it right.
Speaker 15 (02:36:57):
Oh, absolutely, it's so much fun.
Speaker 5 (02:37:00):
Know if you can see past Bianca and the team
that's right on your doorstep. But there are There are
a lot of kids out there that all and families
that all grow good to be a part of this,
making this Christmas Wish happen for you, for you.
Speaker 25 (02:37:16):
Yeah, that's your whole teams here.
Speaker 15 (02:37:18):
Everyone's all here, They're already I know I need a
bigger portion.
Speaker 1 (02:37:23):
Ryan. I want you to know that you know you
try as a coach to affect one kid at a time.
You've affected families at a time, to do what you
did for Devin's family, to know that in the time
that she lost the love of her life, that you
wanted to make things normal for her family and for
her as a mom. You are an amazing man. And
(02:37:49):
I want you to know that our Mojo in the
Morning Christmas Wish program knows that you've been struggling with
your health and we know that you're a fighter and
you're fighting through this. But we also know the loss
of your job is tough and we don't want the
stress of all that to affect your health. So that's
why this morning we are granting your family, the Galloway family,
(02:38:10):
a Mojo in the Morning, breaking and entering Christmas Wish.
This is amazing.
Speaker 34 (02:38:16):
So we have like a whole train of Christmas gifts
and kids just flowing through the house right now. This
is amazing. This is about probably forty people in this
living room.
Speaker 1 (02:38:27):
This this modest home, this beautiful home, which, by the way,
you have six children, Ryan, yes, can you name them all?
We're adding to your six children with forty soccer players.
Speaker 34 (02:38:48):
Mojo.
Speaker 1 (02:38:48):
Hi, Hey, Rylan, Merry Christmas. Ryland, tell me about your dad.
What kind of a guy? Is he a.
Speaker 48 (02:38:57):
Really great guy and he's really hoping and he's a
great dad.
Speaker 1 (02:39:01):
Yeah, yeah, well we love him too. We love everything
about him. And that's why, Ryland, we're bringing in for
your entire family, for for you, for Ryder, Parker, Paisley,
even Jordan and Isaiah. We're bringing in Christmas wish gifts
(02:39:22):
for all of you guys, and we want to make
sure that you do us a favor. Okay, okay, we
want to make sure that you, along with your siblings,
make your parents open their gifts because we're also bringing
a bunch of stuff in for them. So make sure
that your mom and your dad are opening their gifts. Okay,
thank you, thank you? Is Abby there? Can we talk
(02:39:46):
to to Abby real que that's the mom that you
almost ruined their marriage by walking up to their.
Speaker 4 (02:39:52):
Door for guys that Hey all, apology, hiy, how you
holding up?
Speaker 34 (02:40:01):
Abby?
Speaker 28 (02:40:03):
I'm okay, she relieve, but.
Speaker 34 (02:40:10):
I can't believe this is happening, Abby?
Speaker 1 (02:40:13):
Has it? Has it been tough on Ryan? This, this
injury in the latest loss of his job.
Speaker 45 (02:40:21):
Yeah, a lot, all of us.
Speaker 1 (02:40:25):
Yeah, Well, I want you to know this. The most
of the morning breaking an entering Christmas Wish program, and
all the great people that every single year contribute to
us are going to be writing you guys check for
thousands of dollars to help you guys with your bills
while Ryan gets back up on his feet.
Speaker 15 (02:40:42):
He's the phone right now.
Speaker 25 (02:40:47):
Okay, thank you guys so much.
Speaker 1 (02:40:50):
I want you to know that along with every one
of the gifts that the kids are going to open,
we want to make sure that the two of you
guys are able to get that stress out of his
recovery so that Ryan can get through what he's going
through right now.
Speaker 30 (02:41:08):
Thank you.
Speaker 24 (02:41:10):
It means so much.
Speaker 1 (02:41:11):
Well, you mean so much. I don't know if you've
got a chance to listen to that letter, but that's
pretty special, yah Id And you know you guys as.
Speaker 5 (02:41:20):
A kid spend so much time pouring into other people,
pouring into other kids, into other families, and so we really,
we really want you to take a step back today
and just look around and feel the love of everybody
pouring back into you guys this holiday season.
Speaker 4 (02:41:36):
As strong as Ryan is, we know that he has
to have an even stronger wife behind him supporting him.
Speaker 46 (02:41:44):
So that.
Speaker 1 (02:41:46):
Yeah, the Galloway family, from everybody at the good Rich
Soccer Club and everybody that listens to most Joe in
the morning, Merry Christmas to you guys.
Speaker 30 (02:42:04):
Harry Christmas, I think, yeah, you already know what we
gotta do.
Speaker 1 (02:42:09):
Yeah, get these kids, get that team going. Do they
have a chair, Coach Ryan, Do they have like a
special chair.
Speaker 34 (02:42:14):
That you would do with them as I have a
chant that you guys do like us on three or something.
All right, we're gonna how about this.
Speaker 39 (02:42:21):
We're gonna do a big Merry Christmas on three.
Speaker 34 (02:42:24):
Okay, you guys can play your hands in the middle,
you guys do on soccer Okay, all right, ready everyone
to join us.
Speaker 48 (02:42:30):
All Right, we're all gonna do a big Mary Christmas
on three.
Speaker 34 (02:42:32):
Okay, Ready what to say?
Speaker 4 (02:42:38):
Damn my guy in the morning.
Speaker 5 (02:42:40):
Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning. It's time for
ma Mojo Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (02:42:46):
All right, it's on Mojo in the Morning. Yesterday I
had a appointment. Actually, it's funny, you and I both
had some tests to get done this this week. Right, Yeah,
so yesterday I had an appointment. I guess we could
tell about both of them, but I don't know how
much time we got here. Let me look at the
commer I guess we can do it. So I had
an appointment yesterday to go get a follow up test
(02:43:10):
done from back when I had the aneurysm, the herd aneurysm.
So I had to go get some things done, which is,
you know, one of those yearly things where you're like,
oh God, this is I hope everything is okay, you
know what I mean, like because I always feel like
I'm dying. I'm a hyperchondract and I feel like that
the best thing in the world happened to me yesterday.
I got a show topic out of it because when
(02:43:32):
I was there getting my test done, the place that
I went to to go get it done had two
people working and they had to do the test together.
There was like one person kind of maneuvering me and
my you know, big fat body, and the other one
was in the other room doing the scanning stuff like
(02:43:52):
behind a computer. Well, they weren't getting along with each other.
It seemed like it got to a point where I
don't know if the one was not putting me in
the position the right position, and the other was getting
frustrated by it. And then her frustration came out on
the guy that was doing this and me like, why
are you because I think that's your fault. She was
(02:44:16):
thinking that I wasn't being cooperative or something.
Speaker 4 (02:44:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (02:44:18):
I was just saying I was sitting on this thing,
and they kept moving me in and out of like
a circular dome like donut thing, you know. And so
I'm standing there like this, going I can't move you
put me in that position, and it was one of
those machines that would go it would have a guy's
voice pop on there that's like a computerized voice and
go breath.
Speaker 57 (02:44:37):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:44:38):
And I always think I'm gonna die when that's happening,
and then it goes breathe normal.
Speaker 5 (02:44:42):
Well, because they don't tell you how long I just
had that done too. They don't tell you how long
you're going to be holding your breath for. So I'm like,
I don't know if I'm supposed to take a big
breath or if I could just take a normal breath
and hold it.
Speaker 1 (02:44:53):
Well, it had done it like five or six times,
and then all of a sudden, I don't hear the
guy's voice anymore. I hear the ladies, which, by the way,
the guy's voice was a computerized thing. The lady's voice
then comes on and goes like it sounded like that. No,
it sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher, you ever, you know
who I'm talking about, like Charlie Brown's reader. I didn't
(02:45:15):
understand exactly what she was saying, and so I said,
so I said what, and she goes stop talking. Wow,
it was crazy. So then they started arguing a little bit,
and but you know, he's kind of going back and forth,
and I'm like, oh my god, these guys are crazy.
Do you ever witness people at their jobs argue with
(02:45:36):
each other like co but you're the customer, like two
waiters or two waitresses or cooking in a.
Speaker 8 (02:45:44):
This happened to me subway before I went in there
to get my sandwich made, and it was one of
those situations where, not to say, like no plan, like
the attention with it not you could tell something was
going on with them, and they kind of arguing back
and the forth, and I'm like.
Speaker 1 (02:45:57):
Y'all good.
Speaker 5 (02:46:01):
It makes me so, you guys know, if I'm in
a situation where two people are arguing with each other,
I get so insanely uncomfortable. I do not like fading
around that.
Speaker 1 (02:46:11):
Shannon hate. Shannon recalls her childhood when her parents must
have argued, because ever anytime that people argue, she gets
so I was laughing hysterically at these two yelling at
each other. You would have sat there and.
Speaker 5 (02:46:25):
Gone anxiety would have been wild.
Speaker 8 (02:46:30):
Hospital though, like if there's any place where I'm not
supposed to be stressed out, yeah, you know.
Speaker 1 (02:46:36):
And then the best was the guy goes, I'm retiring
on Friday night. That's God.
Speaker 7 (02:46:41):
So you know, goes I'm retiring on Friday, and I'm going,
oh no. This guy's like, if I got to work
with this lady more, I don't know how I'm gonna
do it.
Speaker 5 (02:46:51):
That does not make you feel good, though, when you're
there and you're already nervous, it's a medical appointment, you know,
and then you've got two people that are doing that.
Speaker 1 (02:46:58):
And don't tell me you're retiring on Friday, because I'm.
Speaker 5 (02:47:00):
Thinking, no, you don't care anymore.
Speaker 1 (02:47:02):
Your last job is like hopefully not to like watch
me just do something stupid. But eight four to four
Mojo Live. Eight four four six six five six five
four eight. Have you ever been the customer at a
business that had employees fighting with each other? Like where
the people were fighting? And what did you do? Like
Kevin's subway or me with these two people? What's up
(02:47:23):
Crystal High?
Speaker 30 (02:47:25):
Hey Mojo, I just want to tell you stop pulling yourself.
Speaker 5 (02:47:28):
Fat all the time.
Speaker 1 (02:47:29):
Let's stop. Come on, thank you.
Speaker 57 (02:47:32):
You're doing great for yourself.
Speaker 35 (02:47:33):
And every time I hear you say that, I'm just like,
stop it.
Speaker 1 (02:47:37):
Did you ever did you see the size of my
boobs and the picture that I took the other day
with a five and six fifty five fifteen time champion,
I literally could breast feed an entire planet. I'm not
gonna lie. I'm I'm going and getting a breast reduction.
If any women know of any good places to go
(02:47:58):
to our doctors, I got to get one of those,
So thank you Crystal for that. That's that's very nice
of you. Christ Crystal. Have you ever been in a
business where you witnessed two people fighting with each other?
Like you ever gone out to somewhere and they're they're arguing? No,
I don't think so I have another example of this,
(02:48:20):
you know. Can I tell you another example. I can't
remember if it was Macy's or if it was at Nordstrum's,
but it was at twelve Olks Mall and the two
employees were arguing over whose pants they were, who had
the last pair of the pants there was. So they
were bringing in a pair of pants to a guy
and I don't know what size of the guy's pants were,
(02:48:41):
and the one woman goes, no, those are my pants,
and then the other woman's like, those are my pants?
And I think it was Macy's. And then the woman
goes to the other woman. The two Macy's employees go, well,
you don't clean up your andy, she says the s
hi and she goes, will you never clean it up
anyway because you're lazy? And they're arguing back and forth,
and the whole time I'm just sitting there dumbfounded, going
(02:49:02):
this poor guy who Michelle, let's up.
Speaker 61 (02:49:09):
Good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 9 (02:49:12):
So I went to the Panera, Bread and Taylor, and
there I was waiting on my food and I was
looking around because I her a bunch of yelling and
the manager was yelling at a couple of the employees
in the back, and I mean it was so loud.
Everybody was like looking like, what the heck's going on?
And one of the other employees that she was yelling at,
(02:49:35):
she just you know, they were in a pressing that
with each other, like they were yelling, and I was like,
oh my god, I couldn't believed that. And so I
waited until they hand me my food and the manager
handing my food, and I said, you know, everybody could
hear that, and I.
Speaker 34 (02:49:49):
Said it's so unprofessional.
Speaker 9 (02:49:51):
I said, you really shouldn't be doing that in a
place of business.
Speaker 1 (02:49:54):
Yes, what was the response?
Speaker 9 (02:49:57):
And She's like, well, people are just getting on my skin.
And I said, well, if you're in a place of business,
like being the manager, you should already know this.
Speaker 1 (02:50:06):
Like, good way, I got your food already, I know.
Smart move. We got tired of being single and broke,
so we turned things around.
Speaker 2 (02:50:17):
Now we're broken Singley.
Speaker 3 (02:50:19):
This is Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 1 (02:50:21):
All right, it's Mojo in the morning. I need help
on something here right now. And I want to tell
you that if you can relate to this, I want
you to call me and tell me what you ended
up doing. So last night Chelsea said, Hey, Luke's coming
home from school. He's done with his finals. He's coming home.
Where is his Christmas gift? And I don't know if
I can say what his Christmas gifts are, but I will.
(02:50:44):
Maybe I will, or maybe I won't. But it's something
to deal It deals with a little bit of golf.
Let's just put it that way. So I went and
bought Luke's Christmas gift to Carl's golf Land. Uh, probably
two months ago. Maybe Chelsea sent me over there and said,
here's your You're a thing that you're going to be
responsible for. We got to get Luke at the guests,
And of course I went there and probably bought more
(02:51:05):
things for me than I bought for Luke. And she
put me responsible for that. Okay, great, I go and
do it, as Kevin would say, bet you know. And
so last night she goes, hey, Luke's coming home tomorrow night.
He just finished his last final and he's going to
be home for the Christmas holiday. I'm like already, and
I'm like I'm excited, Like I get it pumped over
the fact that he's coming home. Has Karen been home
(02:51:26):
yet or not yet?
Speaker 2 (02:51:27):
No?
Speaker 1 (02:51:29):
So she goes, where's his Christmas gift? I want to
take those and wrap them. I go, okay, and I'm
like thinking to myself, all right, I think I know
where they are because I know what I bought them.
I think they're in the back of my car. Well,
I go to the back of my car, I hit
the button, the thing goes and comes right up. I
look in the back of my car. Naa. Then I say, oh,
(02:51:50):
it's got to be in the garage because I probably
cleaned the back of my car out when we had
a bunch of people Thanksgiving going downtown, you know, going
to see the Christmas tree all top. It's got to
be in one of the cabin I'm opening it. Point Shannon,
I started sweating. I started like literally, anyway, by the way,
you don't sweat in this weather, this weather. Fat people
(02:52:11):
like me sweating this weather, but you don't sweat in
this weather. So I got to go all right, it's
not there. Then I think to myself, all right, it's
got to be in my closet. Because sometimes what I
do is I'll put things in my closet and I'll
hide them behind my coats or I'll hide them behind
I have pants that are out. I do that a ton,
and I put them in the back there. So I
go in, I go look around. Nothing. I cannot find
(02:52:32):
Luke's Christmas gifts.
Speaker 5 (02:52:35):
You got to AirTag those things next time.
Speaker 1 (02:52:37):
I hope it's not in one of these breaking entering bags.
Well no, because I think no, thank thank God. Honestly,
I don't think I brought it to work, so it's
not been at That's what I'm saying. Honestly, Lydia has
been has not given me the responsibility, I think because
I've gone over budget before of doing any shopping, which
by the way, Lydia, you can let me do your
(02:52:57):
shopping and I will do it. But I but I
I don't know where it's at. So I want to
ask this question, has anybody ever had this happen to
them in the past, or maybe it's currently going on
right now? Where you forgot the hiding spot that you
put your Christmas gifts, and what do you end up
doing if this is I mean, what happens if Christmas
was tomorrow?
Speaker 3 (02:53:16):
You cooked?
Speaker 8 (02:53:17):
I think for me, like when I took the role
of Santa, because he's still real, guys, But when I
took the role of Santa, like when you have a child,
I feel like you spend way more money than you
need to when they're young, Like, they can't play with
a bunch of stuff. So what I would do when
I forgot gifts is they would just turn into birthday gifts.
(02:53:37):
Far it's January, Okay, now it's your birthday.
Speaker 1 (02:53:40):
Yeah, so find it at a different time.
Speaker 5 (02:53:42):
I'm sure I've had it, and I've had this with
gifts before. But you know what happens to me every year,
except it didn't happen this year because I finally got smart.
But every year, except for this year, is our elf
gets lost on her way to our house. You forget
that every year.
Speaker 1 (02:53:57):
I'm like, where, don't you wish that it would always
be lost?
Speaker 5 (02:54:01):
For I like doing it?
Speaker 51 (02:54:03):
You do?
Speaker 5 (02:54:04):
I like doing it?
Speaker 1 (02:54:05):
You haven't gotten sick of that?
Speaker 5 (02:54:07):
You only get so many years? Do you having an elf?
Speaker 1 (02:54:09):
Do you see the elf?
Speaker 54 (02:54:10):
Ever?
Speaker 1 (02:54:10):
Repeating it's Shenanigans. Oh yeah, okay, yeah, so then it's okay, but.
Speaker 5 (02:54:15):
It never fails where I'm like, oh my god, it's December.
First she comes and now we have three because we've
we've gained some over the years and I've been where are.
Speaker 36 (02:54:29):
And we have pets?
Speaker 5 (02:54:30):
We have three pets?
Speaker 25 (02:54:31):
Three?
Speaker 1 (02:54:32):
Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 60 (02:54:33):
Mary?
Speaker 36 (02:54:33):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (02:54:35):
Hi?
Speaker 38 (02:54:36):
So Mojo.
Speaker 29 (02:54:37):
This happened to me with my son. He was like
ten years old at the time.
Speaker 27 (02:54:42):
I watch this Christmas gift, couldn't find where I put them.
Thankfully for me, his birthdays at the end of January,
so I found them before his birthday and been.
Speaker 28 (02:54:51):
Able to just repurpose them for his birthday.
Speaker 16 (02:54:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 27 (02:54:55):
But now my hat is I take a photo of
where I hi.
Speaker 9 (02:55:01):
And then I saved them in a locked folder on
my phone.
Speaker 13 (02:55:04):
That like only.
Speaker 1 (02:55:08):
That, it's so good top ilf top ill strategies. Right here.
I need I need a safe, a Christmas safe, you
know what I mean? That's actually that actually is really
smart that you have that. What what's in the locked
area after Christmas? What do you use that for special toys?
Her toys?
Speaker 27 (02:55:25):
Not much, because like I have enough birthdays and Christmas
things that it's.
Speaker 29 (02:55:29):
Usually just like my hiding spots for things. Also, like
when I take my kids privileges.
Speaker 27 (02:55:35):
Away and I have to hide those, like I'll put
it in there depending on you know, how long the
privileges are lost for. But it's literally my foulder is
titled kidden gems and like I have an iPhone so
only my face can unlock that photo folder.
Speaker 1 (02:55:51):
You know, it's interesting and I don't know if you
can relate to this, but the way I felt yesterday
is the way I feel when my password gets changed
by iHeart and it will say what you're to make
a new password, you have to remember your last password,
And I'm like, I don't remember my password.
Speaker 5 (02:56:06):
No, I save it on that little thing, so I
don't ID that's it.
Speaker 1 (02:56:10):
What's up, Nicole?
Speaker 46 (02:56:13):
Hi?
Speaker 65 (02:56:14):
So I have a suggestion for Shannon, so my else
they don't come until Saint Nicholas comes on December sixth,
so it gives me that little extra time to communicate
with Santa Claus where.
Speaker 17 (02:56:25):
They are to where they are.
Speaker 5 (02:56:27):
Let me tell you something, I cannot change anything at
this point. My kids are so deeply rooted in the
tradition that they come to December one I could never
change it, but I did get smart and I have
like uh they Yeah, I don't want to.
Speaker 1 (02:56:43):
Say which elf is more creative, the elf at your
house or the elf at Dad's house.
Speaker 5 (02:56:47):
Do you ever find out the elves at Dad's house
have lots of time to do amazing really nice. At
Mom's house is a little busier.
Speaker 1 (02:56:57):
Okay, because that would be off the competition else heduf
in charge. What's going on, Jessica.
Speaker 52 (02:57:08):
Hi, So my mom she used to going all year
round and she'll have like trash bags pulled in the basement.
So then one day my dad ended up cleaning out
the basement and threw away all.
Speaker 24 (02:57:21):
The bags of the gifts.
Speaker 52 (02:57:27):
Yeah, so my mom was so mad. Christmas was almost over.
But thankfully she had some stash other places, but it
was not so Christmas that she wanted for the grandkids
and her kids.
Speaker 1 (02:57:41):
Oh my god, that's the way. Can I tell you, though,
jess I'm worried that I did something to this thing
that might have ruined it or whatever.
Speaker 4 (02:57:50):
Maybe it's in your golf bag and you just haven't
realized it.
Speaker 1 (02:57:53):
That's what I'm hoping. Can I tell you something. I'm
hoping that it is in my golf bag. In the
biggest problem, I don't have my golf bag with me,
so I got to go find my I gotta go
get my golf bag and do it. But I think
that you maybe, yeah, I know, hold on one last
call on this one here, Randy. What's up, Brandy?
Speaker 14 (02:58:15):
Well, well, me and my wife do is we leave
our presence and open in twain sight.
Speaker 16 (02:58:19):
We do all the more shopping online.
Speaker 1 (02:58:21):
So we did.
Speaker 22 (02:58:22):
The boxes come in and we just stack them up
in the corner, don't put nobody's name.
Speaker 14 (02:58:26):
On them, and then come close to Christmas, we take
them all apart and then wrap their gifts so we
don't never have to find them.
Speaker 1 (02:58:32):
Okay, So just leave them in the boxes, can see
where they're.
Speaker 14 (02:58:35):
From, and then kind of know no, because I mean,
if you order a box from Amazon, it pretty much
just says.
Speaker 5 (02:58:43):
Because look, if I order from you know, Old Navy,
it says.
Speaker 1 (02:58:47):
It all right. The funny thing is one of the
things I said to Tchelse, you, why are we wrapping
one of the things, Because one of the things will
be that when you wrap it, he'll know exactly what
it is. He'll be like, oh, it's either a cane
or a car. What's going on at Alexa?
Speaker 5 (02:59:02):
Hi?
Speaker 31 (02:59:03):
Hi Hi for first of all, first time long?
Speaker 54 (02:59:05):
Yeah, how you guys doing.
Speaker 1 (02:59:11):
I love when people laugh at when we do that.
But it's fun to be part of the club, now,
isn't it?
Speaker 2 (02:59:17):
Yes?
Speaker 46 (02:59:17):
It is so.
Speaker 31 (02:59:19):
My mom is the queen of forgetting. Where she hides
the presence.
Speaker 47 (02:59:23):
Yeah, and one year she last year, actually she gave
us a Sorosky bracelet. My sister and I got them
for both of us that she hid in twenty fourteen.
Speaker 15 (02:59:34):
Oh, she just found him.
Speaker 25 (02:59:37):
Ten.
Speaker 1 (02:59:41):
I wonder if I wonder if you look at something
like that and it actually gets valued more valuable because
you haven't you haven't opened the.
Speaker 31 (02:59:48):
Thing, so right, right, or sometimes a couple of years
she has like we get done opening President Presence and
then she's like, oh, I bought you guys a pair
of boots. I need to go find notes and she
goes upstairs find them and bring them back down.
Speaker 1 (03:00:02):
The style has since changed, right, Yeah, Oh that's great,
Thank you for the call. I appreciate it.
Speaker 31 (03:00:08):
Yeah, thank you, guys.
Speaker 3 (03:00:09):
Twenty plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan.
Speaker 49 (03:00:15):
It's mojo in the morning,
