Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Over the
weekend was kind of fun.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It start.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
My weekend started off interesting. So I started off with
me running into my friend Brad and Chelsea and I
were out. We were at a bar and we ran
into this guy who's he is a total character. He's
one of these guys that I always say to Chelsea
whenever I spend time with him, I get three to
four topics out of it. I love that, Like I
pull out my phone and start writing stuff in my notes.
(00:26):
He comes up frantically asking Chelsea and I what he
should do.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
I guess.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
On Thursday night, he went to an office party and
the party was so fun that he over indulged himself.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
He was very overserved. She was not overserved. He overserved himself.
Knowing Brad.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yeah, Brad figured out a way to get it. So
he did something kind of interesting. He woke up on
Friday morning to a little bit of a hangover and
a slew of text messages from people who he invited
Thursday night, when he was drunk to a party that
he was having I say party in quotes. He woke
(01:09):
up going huh, like, why did they want to know?
What time of party's going to be. And he looks
and he's like, okay, well all right, invited that person.
And then he looks at another text and there's like
eighteen text messages in his phone looking at this thing,
and he goes the next one. He's like, oh, okay,
all right, and then the next one there's no name
on it. I got to scroll down and see exactly
who this person is. He got drunk on Thursday night
(01:31):
and started inviting people to this not realizing what he did.
And He's like, I don't know what to do, and
I'm like, well you cancel. He's like, I can't cancel.
He goes, and then he's telling me a story. He's
telling me a story about how he'll do this sometimes
where he'll invite people that he doesn't realize he invited
to something. And then it has happened before in the
(01:54):
past where he'll invite people to some things like go
golf or whatever the deal is, and the people will
call him and go, hey man, what time we golfing
that he's like, what, He has no clue that he.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Is this thing.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
He's kind of in, you know, a fun loving drunk.
I guess I do that I.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
Agree to stuff when I'm really I mean, you're drunk.
You having fun, it's a good time.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
Are you drunk?
Speaker 2 (02:13):
Hell, we're going to cobble tomorrow. We just agree to everything.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
I think we all do that, but we don't necessarily
plan an actual party that then we have to like
figure out what the heck to do with all these people.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
We do not all do that.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Because I got invited to go to Vegas, like book
the flight to Vegas go and I went, absolutely.
Speaker 2 (02:31):
That are you crazy? But it sounds like all of
you would be like, hell, yeah, it's so funny.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
This is how I met like my two two of
my very very closest friends. Was it was the first
day of school, I think for Lucy kindergarten, so like
a couple of years ago, and I knew one of
the moms. I didn't know the other one. Lindsay and
Ashley my two friends, and then we went out randomly.
We were like, we saw each other at the school
and we're like, do you guys you have anything after this?
Speaker 2 (02:55):
You want to go get brunch?
Speaker 4 (02:56):
Ended up doing bottomless mimosas, planning a trip to Chicago again,
and did not really know them. Whatsoever, And three weeks
later we find ourselves driving to Chicago together. That's while
all these years later we're still really close friends.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
It is so rab well drunk, I would love I'd
love to know if there are any listeners that have
ever agreed to something or initiated something because they were
maybe drunk or high.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Is also another one too.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
I feel like when you're high, you are more willing
to be yes people, you know what I mean, Like
you're more willing to yeah. The next thing you know,
you're now hanging out in some kind of a queered,
weird setting, you know what I mean, trying to figure
out exactly what's going on.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
Anytime I've been hot, I'm chilling on the couch like
I'm not. I don't want to do anything, you know
what I mean? Like you high requires you to just
be relaxed unless we cut someone tell his drinks involved.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
That's when you get the Lucy's Bro.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Everything is eight four to four, Mojo Live eight four
four City six five six five four eight or text
number is nine five five zero zero. I want to
hear from you, Chelsea. Actually, like said V shows his
wife is a saint. I said that, like what do
you do in that case? Like, what do you do
if what happens? If those people didn't text you back
(04:17):
and you gave a time, and then all of a sudden,
you're sitting at home, you know, Saturday night, you're watching TV.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Just cuddle on the couch.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
Your wife's like, isn't it so nice to have a
cozy night?
Speaker 2 (04:28):
Things?
Speaker 4 (04:29):
Nothing to do?
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Text her here three one three says Mojo, You're right,
Being high makes me agree to things I don't ever
want to do.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
I want to know what some of those things are.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Yeah, call us uh and tell us another one here
five eight six five eight six says I did this
exact same thing. I threw a surprise party, and I
was the one that was surprised.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Even under the influence, ME gets planned anxiety, not to
make plans.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
She's going to regret that.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Under the influence, ME would probably be more freaked out
when I figured out that that happened, because then I'd
be like, how do I plan this? How do I
go out and get all this stuff?
Speaker 5 (05:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I mean thank god for you know, instacarts and and
services like that.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
When you get drinks and you are y'all not the
type of people that you're down for anything.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
No, really, like when you get a couple of drinks,
aren't you, like.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Let's go I'm excited for late night food in my bed.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
Yeah, very quickly. But that's if I'm super drunk.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Like if I'm drunk and it's the end of the night, Oh,
let's let's get some wings, let's get something and then
let's go to sleep. If the night is just started
and I hit that, you know, my mom thinks of
like you know the carnival game, you got the huge
hammer and you hit the thing, then the bill goes
all way up to the top, like I'm on the
rise at that point.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Let's keep going over media such a people pleasers that
drunk me.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
As like that, I won't do what you tell me.
Reel hey, Budge in the morning, what's going on? Hiat?

over me and I couldn't figure out why I was
so colorful. And my husband goes, which, why what do
you got all over you? The dogs got pink.
Speaker 5 (06:28):
And green and blue?
Speaker 6 (06:31):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (06:32):

Speaker 6 (06:32):

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Were you? Were you high? No?
Speaker 7 (07:03):
I took play medication before I went to bed, and
evidently I hate something with it that caused me.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
To be bled out right.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Oh wow, wow, that's interesting. So you had a bad
reaction to the meds that you were taking. By the way,
you should slow down. I just want to let you
know driving. What's up, Rachel? How you doing good?
Speaker 6 (07:24):
How are you guys good?
Speaker 1 (07:25):

when you're drunk or high that you don't realize when
you're sober.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (07:33):
Yes, this past Halloween, we had a Halloween party and
all the gentlemen there had a little too much to
drink and they decided they were going to sign up
for the Glass City Marathon and run the relay of it.
Speaker 6 (07:46):
And they did it.
Speaker 2 (07:47):
They did it.
Speaker 6 (07:47):
Yesterday.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Oh my god, Oh that's something I would very much
pull that. I did not know what I was talking about.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
I was not calling.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Some of them started falling out. So the last minute
we were trying to get relay runners. At the last
second I almost said to run, but I was like, oh,
just hold the sweatshirt.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
How did those that did it do? Did they do? Okay,
they did very well.
Speaker 6 (08:07):

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I disagree with you, Mojo.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
If I smoke, don't ask me for anything besides some snacks.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
But if you want me to say yes or something,
get me some cheetos and then we could do.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
So. Only when you're drinking. Is it that you start
doing things like that? You start getting that courage when
you're smoking. You're just ready to just find a pillow.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Huh uh yeah, and need some snacks. Don't forget the snacks. Okay,
all right, fair enough? What's up? Stephanie heiights Mojo in
the morning. Hey, what's up, Mojo? What's going on? What happened?
What did you do when you were drunk all MG.
Speaker 6 (08:55):
So it was the fourth of July. I was bored,
I got drunk, I got high. I hadtle bit of
chicken wings. So I started calling all my motorcycle friends
and thirty of them showed up at my house on
the fourth of July. So the whole street you could
you imagine how loud that was.
Speaker 2 (09:11):
I'm like, what's that coming?
Speaker 6 (09:13):
It was a whole bunch of motorcycle people. I only
had a little bit of wings, But how did they
The wings flowed okay, and the beer flowed. Man, it
laughed and in the next morning.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Oh my, that's that's wild that everybody agreed to come.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
Did they know that you were only inviting them because
you were drunk? No?
Speaker 6 (09:34):
I thought no one was coming because it was the
fourth of July, like everybody was.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
Busy, madam. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (09:40):

Forty birthday party, and we all decided to go to Nashville.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
The next morning. Oh god, we drinking and yeah, like Shannon,
they went on a road trip together.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yeah, that's wild, that's I mean, that's not a close
drive Nashville and with.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
People that I did not know very well at all.
Was it fun? Was it at least good time?
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
My god, it was so much fun. I love Nashville.
It's such a fun city.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
That's the thing that's crazy, though, is you you carry
that on, that drunkness on in Nashville now all of
a sudden, you gotta be careful of what you just
I think you're now married.
Speaker 2 (10:31):
What's up, Nina, Hi, good morning, Good morning. I was
saying that I promised my daughter yesterday when I was drunk,
like years ago. So asked me about it all the time.
Speaker 1 (10:43):
You said, funny, our kids know, like I don't forget
my kids realize. If I've got friends over, we're on
the back deck, we're having drinks, that is the time
to ask us for things, you know. And then and
then if one of us says no, Chelsea or I
will then go, oh, come on.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
You know here, Samith is getting so smart and if
he wants to stay at his buddy's house, his best
buddy in the world. His mom is my best friend,
and he'll go. You and Lindsay can have another glass
of wine. Why don't you want another glass of wine?
Speaker 2 (11:14):
He knows you know what these kids. I'm telling you,
I don't mind if I do
