Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojo in the morning show phone it was eight
(00:02):
four four Mojo live textas nine to five to five
zero zero.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Uh Anna, m h.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
You had a guy friend of yours that said that
there was a red flag about you.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
He says that you have no friends, yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
It really irritated me. I was hanging out with this
guy yesterday and we were literally just sitting on the
couch eating some door dash, watching some TV. And I
don't know what we were talking about, but for some
reason he made a comment like, well, you don't have
any friends. And I was like, do you really think that?
And he was like, well, when have I ever seen
you out with anyone? And I'm like, what if you
(00:37):
ever seen me out period to begin with? But my
friends and I do different things, Like I think he's
referring to when he goes out to the bars, like
I'm not there with a bunch of girls or anything.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
My friends and I are at the.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Dia, we're at the coffee shops, We're at a bougie dinner,
like I'm just not out. But for some reason that
was really irritating to me because I do have friends. Yeah,
because you don't see them doesn't mean I don't have them.
And if I didn't have them, is that a problem?
Speaker 1 (01:06):
Yeah, well that's an interesting thing. If a girl has
no girlfriends, is that a problem? Is that something that
you look at it?
Speaker 4 (01:12):
I think it's like, if a girl has no girlfriends,
I think, why does she know? Why doesn't she get
along with girls or like have those relationships. But I
see what you mean of and I see you out
with your doing things with your friends all the time,
which is so funny. He just so it's he just
doesn't see you at the bars or the clubs with
your girlfriends.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Like he I'm not bringing groups of girls over to
him and his homeboys at the club, like, oh, here's
all my pretty friends.
Speaker 2 (01:39):
Let's all drink together. Like can't I bug me so bad?
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Me too?
Speaker 3 (01:43):
But like he said it now twice, and I'm like,
you need to stop saying that. We're just different.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
So, uh, it's funny. I'm trying to think. Have I
ever seen you with other people?
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Oh? Great? Most of the things. I don't have friends either.
You know what it is like?
Speaker 1 (01:58):
This is like when you're in school and you had
imaginary friends. Did you ever have imaginary friends?
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Shanony, yeah, shout out to Stacy.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
She was with me till I was like seven.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
In general, I also don't have a huge group of friends,
like I probably have like my solid, like four best friends,
and then like girls that I know that I can
hang out with.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
But you know, it's funny, Chelsea has few friends, but
they're hardcore friends. They're like they're sisters more than friends.
Like she's not one. Like I have a ton of
people that I would call friends. Uh, and then I've
got a few close friends. But Chelsea uh and I
kind of differ on this one. She just wants the
core four and and doesn't want to be a situation
(02:37):
where she's got like so much that she has to
put her efforts into, especially with being a fan, you know,
having a family and stuff. I actually like the idea
that I got a bunch of people that I can
kind of go.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
To, but it's tough to keep up with, you know.
Speaker 6 (02:49):
But I don't know, I feel like when I see
on solves media you be with people. I was more
so leaning when you said the fact that he wants
you to bring your friends around his friends.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Yeah, Like, how much of it do you think that is?
Speaker 3 (03:06):
I think that's a big thing of it is like
in those situations, it's not like I'm walking in with
like twenty people.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
The funny thing with Anna is because she's so new,
I don't know who our friends or whose family. Like
if I look at your social media and stuff and
I see stuff, I.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Go, no, who is that person? Like what is it? Where?
Speaker 1 (03:25):
I feel like I know Lydia's you know, I know
her friends. I kind of gotten to know a little
bit of Bioncas. I knew the other people that run
the show, Like I knew that KP had, you know,
I knew some college friends and stuff like that. Megan
only had her brother, Like it was like I would
see that a lot, or her dad and stuff like that,
and then a couple of different friends that she would
have from work. But I kind of like, because I
(03:47):
do like creep on social media to see what's going on.
I know Shannon's girl group that she's with, She's got
a couple, and then she's got like friends from the
past and stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Kevin. I don't ever see Kevin with anybody, but uh, but.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
You have like you're and your friends with your cousins
and stuff too.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
I don't really pose like that. Yeah, what's up how
you doing. I is there a red flag to Anna
we're wanting to know?
Speaker 7 (04:17):
I think it really depends because I'm somebody also that
I mean, I'm somebody that doesn't have a lot of friends.
But I think for me, it's just because it's just
always met with disappointment, like with girls being i don't know,
always just talking behind your back and stuffs, and so
I just kind of don't put myself out there because
you know, you don't really know who you can trust.
(04:37):
So I think sometimes, you know, not automatically it's a
red flag. You know, sometimes people just have their guard
because they don't want to deal with people that you know,
will try to, you know, not have the best intentions.
Speaker 2 (04:50):
Is that what happened to you? Yeah, what was the situation?
Speaker 5 (04:57):
Well?
Speaker 7 (04:57):
I had a best friend in high school and you know,
she he would always end up talking behind my back.
And one time I had this boyfriend and she texted
him and she was like, I don't know why you
date her, like she's so ugly, and yeah, that's just
like really traumatic. And I think that is why I
don't have a lot of friends, because that was like
a traumatizing time for me, and you know, girls just
(05:17):
get that reputation anyways of like you know, like, you know,
that's pretty common to hear about, like girls not really
being your friend for real, like talking like pretaining like
they like you to your face, but then talking about
you behind your back.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
You know that makes me sad though.
Speaker 6 (05:32):
You know, obviously you had a very traumatic experience, and
I never want to downplay those emotions or feelings, but
I would encourage you not to live through the trauma
because you may be missing out on some really good relationships.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
In your life.
Speaker 7 (05:45):
Oh yeah, I totally agree with that. Yeah, I shouldn't
let that define me.
Speaker 1 (05:49):
Girls are tough on girls, man, They're way tougher on girls,
and guys are on guys.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
What's up, getsy?
Speaker 5 (05:56):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
How are you on the phone.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
So I don't think having a small friend group is
a red flag. I have a very small friend group.
I moved around a lot during like high school in
middle school, which is like the time that you make
most of your friends and most of your connections. I
have basically like two girlfriends. One is really focused on
(06:24):
her family and she has a very large family, And
I have another friend that's really focused on her career.
So I don't get to see them as often as
I would like.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Does it make it difficult to have a friends giving?
Speaker 5 (06:37):
We've had one maybe like three years ago. It does.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
It's not really friends giving when there's only like one
or two, isn't it?
Speaker 2 (06:45):
Is it like it's just I don't know.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Listen, No, I'm telling you my wife feels the same
way that you feel.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
Gutsie. It's it's you don't need eat all the drama
of a busy don't.
Speaker 4 (06:59):
I don't think it's about out a lot versus a little.
I think it's the guys who have not a guy
friend and the girls who have not a do you
know what I mean?
Speaker 8 (07:08):
That's what I like that something's up there. Yeah, you
gotta try not to have friends. Well, I think there
are some. I think there are some people that might
be maintenance for our people, and some people don't want to.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Be friends, like my little sister. My middle sister always
had a lot more guy friends, but she still had
you know, friends that were girls. She just hung out
with boys more.
Speaker 1 (07:30):
But is it a red flag if a girl only
has guy friends or a guy only has girlfriends. I
don't know, because a lot of times, a lot of times,
if a guy only has girlfriends, they think he's gay. Yeah,
And if a girl only has guy friends, they think
she's a.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
Slut or she's got she's always got drama going on
with girls.
Speaker 6 (07:51):
That could be Well, what about the guy that only
has guy friends. The guy, well, he can't not have
sex or trying to flirt with the girls that are
his friends. Oh, he doesn't know how to be friends
with girls. Yeah, what's up, Jonathan, which one are you?
Speaker 9 (08:04):
Hey? Hey, So I yeah, I have some friends that
are girls that aly have guy friends. And they say
it's just because a lot of girls are just very
like drama filled. And oh and speaking of what you
guys were just talking about. So I'm actually gay, but
I mostly have guy friends because of the same reason.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Interesting, So you don't have a lot of girl friends,
girls that are friends of yours.
Speaker 9 (08:29):
No, Throughout the years, it's just been dwindling, Like I
don't know, it's just there's been too much drama a
lot of guys. So I'm a very just like you know,
free spirit, just like go with the flow type of person.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (08:41):
So I've just found it to be I mean, being
gay too. I relate to guys more but like, I
don't know, I just found it more easy going.
Speaker 6 (08:50):
What kind of drama have you experienced from these women
with guy friends?
Speaker 9 (08:56):
So I don't want to get all into it.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
I know it's something in there.
Speaker 9 (09:02):
I know, right, Happy Friday listener, long long time Collars,
long time color did no, no, no, no, not at all.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Actually you thought that.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
One of the girls wouldn't be friends with him because
he got caught with one of the guys.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
I don't want to.
Speaker 9 (09:23):
Say no, no, not at all. No, it's just like no,
and I'm not perfect myself, like, but I've just realized
that girls are just kind of harder on guys too,
like in general. So like I've I've I'm not perfect,
like I've known I've been like flaky in the past,
and I feel bad about it, and like I didn't
(09:43):
take ownership for a while, putting like the mistake on
like the other person. But then like I but then
I realized like they weren't all cracked up, you know,
like they no one's perfect, Like they didn't take ownership
for something to data either, and made me look like
the bad guys to a ton of people, which isn't right.
But you know, you're living your learn Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, well thank you for the.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
Love you guys. That's right, man, just be crazy, hold
on saying one last one? Here Ashley Ashley, Yes, I'm here.
Ashley just has male friends. Why is that? Ashley?
Speaker 8 (10:18):
Man?
Speaker 10 (10:19):
Listen, the females are so catty.
Speaker 7 (10:22):
I'm like a.
Speaker 10 (10:23):
Female that has, you know, really nice shape and I
always get like a lot of attention. And women really
do be jealous of you, like they really do. They
hate it and it's just like they'll tell your business.
I'm more cool with the boys. I'm a homies home girl,
you know, and I have a good times with my
(10:45):
homeboys more than I got a couple of friends. But
it's it's a small group.
Speaker 2 (10:50):
You know what. Ain't nothing wrong with that, Ashley?
Speaker 10 (10:53):
Yeah? Yeah, how y'all doing today on this Friday?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
You know what, I'm I'm enjoying it. I'm ready to
have the weekend. Are you ready for the weekend?
Speaker 10 (11:03):

way to drop him off to school and he wants
to say.
