Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Something drives
my family crazy. And I found out that it's not
just my wife that I drive crazy with this. It's
actually my kids too, So Joe, Jacob, and Luke get
driven crazy by this. I am an I love you guy.
I'm the type of person that will say I love
you to pretty much everybody, and it's no joke. Believe me,

(00:25):
I probably already have. And I realized over the last
couple of weeks being with all my family that they
don't like it at all. And I thought it was
just Chelsea because Chelsea at first was one of the
only people that has ever made comments about this.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
But here's the thing.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
If I don't know you, but know you for like
maybe an hour, I'm probably gonna say I love you too,
because that's just something that I was raised doing. My
dad my mom always said I love you, and they
said I love you to not just us, but they
said I love you to neighbors, you know what I mean.
Like I witnessed that, and it's gotten to a point
now where my family will say to me, if you're

(01:05):
telling the guy that just came over to fix our
water heater that you love him, do you actually really
love us?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Or is there a different kind of love?

Speaker 1 (01:15):
And I'm wondering if maybe I'm saying too much love,
you know, like is there too much love coming out
of my mouth? Like does sometimes does the word get
devalued or the phrase get devalued?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
I see all the time to everybody too. People I
just met, I'm like, oh my gosh, I love you
so much.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
Yeah, if everything is important, then nothing's important.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I understand that. So it's wild. I
will tell you that.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
And I don't know if this is something that somebody
will participate in and call with. But I don't know
who's the strangest person that you said I love you to.
You'll have to tell me. You know, the story at
A four for OJO Live, because I don't know if
you ever heard our story about We had a boss
years ago. Her name was Till Levek. She used to
be our Colleen. She used to be our general manager here.

(02:05):
And I remember Till called me on the phone one
day and she and I were having a conversation and
it was about work stuff. And at the end of
the conversation I said to her, I go, all right, well,
I'll talk to you later. I love you, Till, and
I hung up the phone and she, I think was
still on the phone at the time. And then it
got really weird because Till was a single woman, and

(02:27):
I think that it made it then all of a
sudden made me feel, oh my god, I think she
thinks I'm hitting on her or something like I'm gonna
get blocked before human resources. So then I came in
the next day and I had to like walk in
see Till, and I was like, hey, I just wanted
to explain myself.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
I thought it was great. It was actually kind of cool,
but you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Yeah, but it was one of those things where it's
like the people you say, I love you too.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
You gotta be careful of that.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
At a situation a couple of years ago, I had
moved and I was so excited to buy a new television.
Televisions I don't think there as expensive now as they
used to be, So I got a nice celevision.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
I was so excited. It was so large.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
I need to help, like bringing it out to the
car and like lifting it and getting into my car.
I'm so excited. The guy finishes, I'm like, dog, I
love you so much, bro the way he was like, it's.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Just to tell you, do you tell? I tell everybody
I love them before I hang up with them on
the phone.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Friends.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I mean not just I really do. I mean not
the you know, the Comcast opperity people, but I tell
everybody I love them a phone call. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
That's kind of like my instead of saying goodbye like
you used to be, you know, hey bye, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Amber?

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Hey?

Speaker 6 (03:42):
I'm like you, like, I tell everybody that I love that,
you know. So it's not to take away the word
or the meaning of the ones that I do love.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
You know.

Speaker 6 (03:52):
But like if someone and I know, I could just say, oh,
I appreciate you, but like my kids even give me
where it looks. I think it was someone at Dollywood.
H The person there had like done something like I
would just have like a really rough day, and he
like did something to like fix whatever the issue was.

(04:13):
And I was like, I love you, thank you so much.
And I guess I could just say I appreciate you.
But that's how I look at it. When I'm telling
people like that, I was like, oh, I love you.
I guess it's more an appreciation of like you just
nay my day.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's all in the inflection, like if I say Amber,
I love you, Like if I do that, that's that's
kind of creepy. But if I just say, hey, Ambor,
Hey love you Amber, thanks for listening, you know what
I mean?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Like, that's that's the thing.

Speaker 7 (04:38):
It's totally differently.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
I don't think it's bad.

Speaker 8 (04:41):
And there's a difference, or at least I feel a
difference when someone puts an eye in front of it,
like if they're just like love you, or if it's
like I love you, I'm like, oh wow, Like that
means yeah, are we dating then after that?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Or what's happening in Donna?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (04:58):
I was eight months part and has pregnant brain and
I was talking to pest control guys.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Yeah, and the soul we hung up.

Speaker 5 (05:06):
I said, I.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Love you now. Now do you guys have babies together?

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (05:12):
No, I'll have to have.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I like that you have a pest control guy. That
is great. I love you, Donna, love you, Mojo, all right,
take care of She's cute. What's up, Sarah? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Hi time? I've been mind to call just to do
that for so long. I'm gonna love I love you person.
My son also as he's fourteen, and he can't stand silence,
so he'll just say I love you constantly.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
Ah see, that's cute. I think that that's wonderful that
he does that, right, you're raisingly.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
I love it, and that's kind.

Speaker 4 (05:50):
We're very very loving family.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
That's and honestly, that's kind of like how it was
in my family, Like I witnessed my mom.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
My mom loved everybody. My mom was a loving lady.
What's up, Kim? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (06:02):
I'm good? How are you good?

Speaker 2 (06:04):
Kim? What's happened?

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Kim?

Speaker 1 (06:05):
Works at the airport? Do you know anything about the
soap dispensers? I'm just kidding.

Speaker 7 (06:09):
Oh gosh, Yeah, they're consistently full, that is for sure.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Yeah, we have to have what's going on?

Speaker 7 (06:18):
Yeah, No, So I bring up millions of customers all
the time and I'm always telling them have a nice day,
and a couple of times I've actually said I love
you and they just kind of look at me. I
had somebody, you know, tell me that they loved me back.
But growing up in a family, saying that I love you,
it just kind of comes out. But it's so funny
because I do say it a lot, but yeah, the

(06:38):
looks that I get sometimes sometimes people will say it back,
but I'm like, oh my goodness.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
I tell people happy first.

Speaker 2 (06:44):
That's nice time.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
But see that's nice because at the airport people are
in a bad mood sometimes even though they're about to
go somewhere fun hopefully, you know, it's nice to be
able to have somebody like you. And by the way, Kim,
if you can get me upgraded to first class, I
will make love to you.

Speaker 6 (06:59):
Now what I can do.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
I can see what I can do.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
God, I will not only do that, I'll make sure
I make sure that you're taking care of it.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
What's going on, Lindsey, how you doing?

Speaker 4 (07:11):
I'm great?

Speaker 5 (07:12):
How are you guys this morning?

Speaker 7 (07:13):
Good?

Speaker 2 (07:13):
We love you, Lindsay, what's up?

Speaker 6 (07:15):
I love you guys too.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
I work in healthcare and I am in bedside nursing
and a lot of my patients I work in neurology
and they will say I love you. And I do
agree with the other caller that said when you put
an eye in front of it, I feel like it
means a little.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Bit more like I will see you as opposed to
love you.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
Too. But it also depends on the situation. If I'm
leaving the room and they're like, I love you, I'll
be like, love you too. Or if I've had that
patient for three days and I'm holding their hand and
they're you know, they don't have visitors. I have no
problem saying I love you and using their names.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
And in this.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
World, yeah, were you out? Where you work? Where do
you I work.

Speaker 5 (08:03):
At Henry FORTWN wonderful.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Thank you for thank you for doing what you do.

Speaker 7 (08:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
I can I tell you that. One of the funniest
things ever, Lindsay is when you'll say to a person,
and this is when you know that they're a listener,
and you'll say, well, I appreciate it, thank you so much,
I love you, and they'll go.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
We love you too. It's the greatest. I'm like, oh
my god, they're a listener. I love it. All right,
we'll talk to you later. Take care of yourself, have
a great day at work.

Speaker 4 (08:32):
Thank you so much.
