Speaker 2 (01:23):
Good morning, and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show.

Speaker 6 (01:26):
We are getting excited for jingle by. It is tonight,
finally here the night of our jingle Ball.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I know.

Speaker 6 (01:44):
It's gonna be so much fun to have you guys
with us. Hopefully you don't have tickets. We get a
winner for you today. Okay, we want to make this
one possible.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Man, I show you the doll.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
It's going to be so much fun. Looking forward to
seeing Teddy. Actually getting a chance to hang out with
Teddy this afternoon, which is going to be fun. I'll
give more details on that coming up here on the
Mojo in the Morning Show. Hey, I want to man, Hey,
what's up your chasons?

Speaker 1 (02:27):
I wouldn't do.

Speaker 7 (02:29):
To get.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Yeah, it's jingle Balls tonight at Little Caesar's Arena. We've
been talking about this for what the last like two
months or something like that, and it is finally here.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
It's always the best night of the year.

Speaker 6 (02:43):
It's an opportunity for us to think say thank you
to you for making the mojo on the morning show,
as well as this great radio station, the Detroit Channel
ninety five five and of course our great sister stations
and brother stations one of four point five s and
X ninety two point five Kiss FM, the number one
stations in town. And we bring some of the biggest
artists in town or in the country to uh Detroit

(03:09):
and uh we you can't say it ever since Mason
came up with that, it's always got to be Detroit
looking forward, it's gonna be a blong day for all
of us. You know, there are some morning shows I
think that take the day of and day after off
or day of work, and then day after off we

(03:29):
are just dumb.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
Please.

Speaker 8 (03:33):
I almost turned around and went home because this morning
I was halfway to our old studio, the first one.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I know, and then I was like, dang it.

Speaker 8 (03:42):
Once I realized, I snapped out of the zone that
I was in.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
And I realized everyone's always so dumb.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
But yeah, I was like, I should just turn to
go back to bed a little bit.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
I'm going to tell you, guys, I've thought about the
theory of taking off, and I said, how can you
enjoy and celebrate and talk to the people that are
there that night and get their perspective on things, and
those that aren't there, let them understand that next year
they got to work really hard to get those tickets
or possibly go out and even buy them a ticketmaster

(04:14):
because it's worth it as well. And there are tickets
available by the way for tonight, so if you're looking
for tickets, you can go get them. But I just
don't understand how you don't do that to me. It's
like the breakfast the day after a wedding with your
you know family. You can't like just call it quits
and say I'm done. You gotta talk talk about the reception.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
No, there's so much to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Catch up on gossip, Donnie, what's up? It's Mojo in
the morning, what's going on? Our friend don morning?

Speaker 9 (04:39):
Happy jingle Ball, Let's go. I just want to say
I heard a voice of an angel on the radio
a couple of weeks ago. I think the name was
Megan Mittick. Oh, I love it, and she was on
Channel nine five. He said, if you want to maybe

(05:03):
have the opportunity to introduce an artist on stage at
Jinko Ball to enter on Channel nine five five dot com.
So I did and I won. Yeah, I won the
fans spotlight.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
So I'm so excited.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah, I love that.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
That like made me happier.

Speaker 6 (05:25):
That made me happier than the day that my children
were born to know that you.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
I got two outfits.

Speaker 9 (05:33):
I like. I went to Colds last night. I was like,
I gotta find something better.

Speaker 6 (05:37):
Can I ask this question? I'm going to start off
with this since she just brought it up. Which, by
the way, Donnie, you look fabulous. I've seen you in
your work attire. So I've actually gone to Donnie's work
and I've seen Donnie work there. She's a server. She's amazing.
So I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Why is it?

Speaker 6 (05:55):
Because we were having this discussion last night, it was
actually me and Misfit Victor as his wife Tina is
claiming that she has nothing to wear yet, he says
she has two closets in their house, even taking over
another closet in her house with clothes. Why is it
that women will say, I got nothing to wear? And
why is it that women will use that as an

(06:15):
excuse that they don't want to go somewhere yet they've
got a ton of clothes. And then the other thing
is why do you guys always feel like you have
to buy something for Yeah.

Speaker 9 (06:25):
You can't be an outfit repeater.

Speaker 4 (06:27):
Yes, you're.

Speaker 9 (06:30):
You're gonna be on stage in front of thousands of people.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
This is jingle Ball Detroit.

Speaker 9 (06:35):
You have to look good. You're gonna get pictures, you're
gonna get videos.

Speaker 6 (06:39):
What about the people? What about the people that aren't
going to be on stage? You're just gonna be at
the show. And you're using that as your excuse as
to why you're not, you know, wanting to go I
don't have something to wear, like you're going anywhere?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Like?

Speaker 6 (06:51):
Why is that excuse always something that comes out of
women's mouths. We don't ever hear guys say.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
That because we have to.

Speaker 5 (06:56):
Guys don't care and their fashion is so simple they're fashioned.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
Is shame. Black pants, button up shirt.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Jacket and shoes and belts. Our stuff is constantly changing,
Our bodies are constantly changing the environment that we're dressing
for is constantly changing, and.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
It's just a feeling.

Speaker 8 (07:13):
If you don't feel good in what you're wearing and
what you look like, you're not gonna have a good time.

Speaker 5 (07:18):
Plus you're wearing the same thing year round, no matter
what the weather is.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
We have to change for the weather.

Speaker 6 (07:22):
Oh come on, we're not wearing the same thing. We
put a coat on every now to get sweatshirt.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Or something like that. They're not comparable, you know. It's
It's funny.

Speaker 6 (07:30):
The only time that I ever feel like I have
nothing to wear is if I get to go to
two Lions games compared to one year, I need like
one more sweatshirt or something for that. Listen, I will
tell you that you guys always look great. Nobody ever,
you know, there's it's never. It's never where somebody just
goes and shows up at something and anybody goes, oh,
they wore that.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
I don't ever hear that at all. Or do women
judge other women? Yeah, what are you guys doing?

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Unfortunately?

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Do guys? Do you think guys do that?

Speaker 6 (08:02):
No?

Speaker 7 (08:02):
But I mean the women judges though, these women do.
They started show feet and didn't work really.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
But you guys don't realize now I can also like
make you guys.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
I don't want to say this, like.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
It's like sunglasses on the girl.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
Yeah right, but you're wearing like a cool outfits.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
Yeah, like we can find you way hotter if you've
got good style. But by the way, when you say that,
am I going to get judged today? Because and I
think Kevin is going to judge me harder because if
I made fun of him for something. But I'm wearing
shoes today that Chelsea told me I should never wear
outside of the house.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Let me see him.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
No, hookahs are actually fine? What are those are?

Speaker 2 (08:47):
Actually Cav's going to make fun of me because I
yelled at him about them.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
I kind of like.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
The worst.

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Those are like the clogs? What are those called for?

Speaker 2 (08:59):
The listeners? These are called? These called Mojo's new.

Speaker 10 (09:02):
Jeep the shoes that keV wanted to buy it two
weeks ago, and Mojo wrote in the group chat those
are the ugliest things I've ever seen.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
He walked, and the reason why because I didn't want
Kevin and I were in the same shoes.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
Although I think we could pull it off. You look good.
That is.

Speaker 6 (09:25):
The lower No, they're honestly, can I tell you that
the most comfortable thing ever? But Chelsea, Donnie, these are
these ugs. They're like they're big old beefy ugs. And
I'm going to tell you something. They're the most comfortable
things ever. But my wife told me that it makes
me look like Herman Munster when I'm wearing this.

Speaker 8 (09:42):
Dude, I will.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Die on this hill.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Shit anyway, I will die on this. Ugs are the
best shoe brand in the world. Yeah, I agree, they
are the best.

Speaker 2 (09:51):
They're comfortable.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
They At this point, I think we can say classic.
Those were popular when I was in like junior high
and high school, and they still are.

Speaker 6 (09:58):
Like I told, I told Chelsea, I said, you put
it amez logo or at we have a time logo
on that thing. In ninety nine point nine percent of
people would think they're the hottest things ever. Uggs is ugs.
All right, Well, it's gonna be fun. It's jingle ball tonight.
We're looking forward to, uh to seeing you, Donnie up. Actually,
we're looking forward to hanging with you. We get to
hang out.

Speaker 9 (10:17):
Because I'm so excited. Think you're driving up from Kentucky today.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Fine, Wait, Who's which one should we say? Who's going
to be up on stage with Donnie when they do
the intro? You? Yeah, who do we know? Who's I know?

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Do you know Johnny?

Speaker 9 (10:30):
I will No, I have.

Speaker 7 (10:32):
No idea, it's oh no, don't say it. Then, I
didn't even though we were doing this.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I don't know. Yeah somebody.

Speaker 6 (10:39):
Yeah, so somebody is going up on stage with you
so that we'll tell you who it is.

Speaker 9 (10:44):
Okay, Oh my gosh, Okay, I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Because we do it, we do it. We do have
star appeal.

Speaker 6 (10:48):
We actually have some some big time movie and TV
people that are coming to the thing. Do you know
La had Hayley Bieber that was at Theirs?

Speaker 9 (10:56):
Yeah, yeah, no, I heard you guys talk about that
on the yesterday.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
It's gonna be a good night. It's gonna be fun
jingle Ball and we will see you. If you don't
