Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
Now, hey, Now, I don't know why I said that.
I like to say it because Howard Stern says it.
He's like my idol.

Speaker 3 (00:11):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
You know, I've been listening a long time. I got
rid of my uh, rid of my serious, I got
rid of everything. I got rid of Hulu, I got
rid of Apple, I got rid of Yes.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
You know why? Why?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Because I want to find out who are the people
that are truly friends in my life?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Oh, don't ask me.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
I've realized this. There's a lot of people that have
all of my passwords. And so what I decided to
do was I was going to cancel every single service
that I had. And then when I get a text message,
which I have from one or two really or a
call saying hey, just wondering did you change your password?

(00:50):
Then I see what kind of friends I got? You
ever do this at all?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
No?

Speaker 1 (00:54):
No.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
So I've got two tips in my life that are
good tips. One big tip, if you want to save money,
cancel a credit card. Just cancel it out when you
pay it off. If you can get it paid off,
pay it off. Cancel the credit card that's attached to
any kind of a subscription that you have, and get
rid of all the subscriptions that you have because of
all those companies will come to you and go, we

(01:16):
notice that your card's out of date. You know, they'll
all do that stuff. And then what you do is
you say no, no, no, no, because you pay for
stupid crap, you know what I mean, Like you do
those test things all right. The second tip is cancel
every one of your streaming services that you have.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
How many streaming services do you have?

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I got Peacock, I got Hulula plus Disney, I got Apple,
I got Primes with like a couple stars.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
I understand how much money you're spending on this stuff.
I like watching TV. That's my thing.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
I don't shop a lot, I don't travel a lot.
I ain't buying two hundred bottles of bourbon. I won't
go out to eat a lot.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I'll watch TV. Are you pointing the finger at me?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Some of some of those directed your way. Honestly, that's
a lot of streaming services. You need to be friends
with me. I'll pay for some of them. No, honestly,
that's a lot. I still think that we should do it.
And the problem is these algorithm things or whatever they have,
like these they have.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
They're too smart these days.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
They have the ability now to be able to know
exactly if you're you know, from IP addresses and stuff
that you know.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
And it pisses me off.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
But we what we should do as a show is
we all should get one, and we get and Zach
honestly would be the only guy I would say that
doesn't have to get one, and we give them all
to everybody.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Interesting. And I heard to pay for it because it's
for work. You're not, Wow, I'm doing I'm covering this
all much taxes.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
I'm just.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
All that for you haven't been doing that?

Speaker 4 (02:38):
No, I didn't even think about this entertainment, right, that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
But I don't know if you've ever, if you ever,
you know, do this. Are there any listeners here that
you and I want you to call yourself out that
doesn't pay for one streaming service because you steal it
from everybody else? Are there any listeners that.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Do that up until like a week ago.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
How did you get away with it? How are you
able to do it?

Speaker 3 (02:59):
I mean, I'm I'm still doing it for most of them.
But then I had to like buy one of them
so I could offer it to my friends and be like, Okay,
if you give me this one, I'll give you this one.
So I think I have paramount plus and then all
my friends have the other ones covered.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Man, that's up by the way.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Uh uh living off your mom and dad too, I
don't want to see this anymore as a dad.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
It's getting harder and harder though, because they're putting like
limits on who how many people can be on there?
So I have to text my friend like, got kicked
out on Netflix again? Can you add me back in?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I I'm going to do this with everything.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
At what point do I now officially cut off all
my kids from everything?

Speaker 4 (03:35):
I feel like when Joe gets married, Yeah, he's done,
She's done. He should definitely be done.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Sorry Joe, should I add his wedding, cut his phone
on his self on certain.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Instead of like jumping the road, you got to cut
the corse. Also, I mean Jacob, Jacob just got his
doctor facts. Yeah, thank you, Shannon Fly little Birdie Fly.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Seriously, at least it does I uh No, I agree,
I agree one hundred percent. We got to give them
an opportunity to pay their own stuff. How about Chad Mitchell,
my old producer who's on some of my streaming services
I get. I get text from him all the time. Hey,
did you change your He does that all the time.
It's crazy. Yeah, Chad and his wife Stephanie are on

(04:17):
my some of my streaming services eight four four Mojo
Live eight four four sixty six five six five four eight.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Oh I like this one. I like the three one three.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I don't know if we're calling them, but our friend
group will pay for certain services and then we all
share those different services and it's more than just streamings.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I like that. Probably maybe an Amazon fime or something. Yeah,
Nia as the mooch. What's going on?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Nia?

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (04:44):
How's it going everybody?

Speaker 1 (04:46):
It's going good.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
You you're the one that's uh taking everybody's streaming or
other series.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yes, yes, I use so. I think I use my
mom's Hulu and.

Speaker 6 (04:55):
Her Prime, and my husband has a Peacock and his
grandma has hbo oh and my mom has Netflix. So yeah,
I don't pay for a single streaming service.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
You are the either the smartest person in the world
or the cheapest person in the world.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
I think probably both.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, Hey, I'm just taking advantage of it.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
You know what I like.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I like when a friend comes over to my house
and I don't have YouTube TV, but a friend will
come over to my house and say, hey, do you
want to watch all the football games? I'll say sure,
because they have all the NFL package and the log
in and the log in.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
As soon as they log out of the thing, I.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Actually right away quickly get in and keep logging in
so that it keeps me on there because I want
to be able to get that What's up, Natalie?

Speaker 1 (05:37):
How you doing good? How are you good? What's going on?

Speaker 6 (05:43):
So my friend group, we will all pay for like
one streaming service and then we just share the pastor
with everybody, so we only have to pay for like
one or two services.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
So you do it smart.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Does it work nowadays doing that? Like you're still able
to do that with the IP changes and stuff.

Speaker 5 (06:01):
So far?

Speaker 6 (06:01):
Yes, other than Netflix because of their changes, but everything
else like crunchy Roll, Hulu, Man, Apple TV.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, No, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
What it looks like a two V What what service
is the last one that you said, which time was
crunchy Roll?

Speaker 1 (06:19):
What's what is country Roll?

Speaker 6 (06:21):
Country roll is where you can watch like anime.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Oh, I've never heard. It's like what.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Funimation was it's crunchy roll. Yeah, one of our friends
is paid for it for years, and he just gives
the password out to everybody, and we just give them
more passwords.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Do you watch anime?

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Me?

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Not really, he's adding to his list.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
Do you watch it, Natalie? Is it just normal anime?
Or you don't watch anime like porn?

Speaker 1 (06:45):
There's anime? Draw?

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah, and I don't understand how people could be turned
out of that? What's up, Theodore?

Speaker 5 (06:56):
How we doing good?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
Theodore? What's up?

Speaker 3 (07:04):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Yeah? So basically my fiancee just hi Jack. Everybody else
is through our family, he said. My mom and dad
still pay for my car insurance and my phone bill.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Pretty easy.

Speaker 5 (07:17):
How old are you?

Speaker 2 (07:19):
You're still young? You're still young. I don't feel so
bad now, you know what I mean? Like like my
son Joe is just turned thirty.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
You know. Yeah, he's a rotten bastard.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
The only thing I ain't got is Apple TV, So
anyone got.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
It, get off my phone and get off my phone, or.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
If you ain't part of me, if I if I
can't get DNA responsible for you, I am paying for you.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I'll talk to you later. A great one to see you,
h Linda, what's happening?

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Hey, Mom, Joe, how about you today?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Good? What's going on?

Speaker 3 (07:55):
My daughter Alison is thirty three, married and just had
a baby boy, and.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
I still pay for her cell phone and.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I just told her the other day it's time for
you to start paying and she said, oh, Mom, come on,
you know what.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
We need to have a ceremony on the show and
we we get her kick completely off there and see
how quick she ends up trying to find Wi Fi
to text you.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:21):
I said it's time you have a baby and you're married.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
And she said, oh come on, Mom, what if she
says to you, if you don't pay for it, you
can't talk to your grandchild.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
Then for it.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yeah, I know they hold that grandchild over you. Thank you.
I tell you a funny story.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
So we're hanging out as a family and Jacob he
bought me a very sweet gift, you know, for getting
into the Hall of Fame, and he gives it to
me and I'm opening it up and I'm looking and
I'm like, oh my god, I go Jacob, I can't
believe you bought this thing.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
This is unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
And I'm like looking at it, going Jesus, you know,
he just got a job and all this stuff, and
he said, yeah, he goes it was really, you know,
something I thought that would be good for you.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
And I look over at Luke and he's laughing.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Jacob bought it on his emergency credit card that Chelsea
and I gave him when he was in college.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Then I still hadn't cut off. Oh my gosh, I
bought my kid's own gift. We'll play Jacob. Yeah, so
that's why he's the doctor, right, exactly,
