Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojoe in the morning. Chelse and I were binge

(00:02):
watching over the weekend and I said to her, I go,
here's the deal. We've got to finish this because if
we don't the entire show on Monday, all I will
do is be sitting there thinking about just leaving the
station and going home and watching the rest of this. Oh.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I love when I'm into a show that that much.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
I haven't been this much into a show in a while,
and I feel like it's a dark side is coming
over me. And I don't know what this is, but
maybe it is that it's because the time of year
we watched Monster. The Edgin story, yes, is that it's
the story about this guy that is like the most
notorious uh you know, uh mass murderer that has ever

(00:43):
been around. His mass murder was so big it started
all kinds of other mass murderers. So his mass murder
that he did back in like the I think it
was like the twenties or something like that started all
the other guys like Ted Bundy and Texas chainsaw Man. Well,
I guess I don't know if the Texas chainsaw mascul

(01:05):
was actually real.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Charles Manson, Wait, so did he do weird stuff?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Yes, if you have a weak stomach, I would not
recommend watching it.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
He would, uh well, first off, he would dig up
dead bodies spoiler alert.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
He would dig up.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
He would dig up dead bodies. And then he would
he would wear them. He would wear their women, just
women surrounding it.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Why change their skin colors like bleach it and stuff.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It's very weird.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
He would make furniture out of them too, which I
guess this might be a spoiler because I'm giving away
too much information and stuff. But I did not know
much about this guy. And then Chelsea's like, hey, we're
going to watch this thing. And I'm like, oh, great,
you and I are going to sit around together and
we're gonna, like, you know, watch something kind of fun.
And we're laying on the couch and I'm like, going,
this doesn't seem very fun. But it was interesting. It

(01:52):
was really really interesting, and I get you know, you
start watching this stuff and you're like, why am I
watching this? And then all of a sudden, your two
episodes into it, and now you stopped after one episode? Right.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
I don't even think I finished the first story for you. Yeah,
but I did listen to a podcast about him because
I was interested.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
The problem with you that you know you need to
have somebody with you watching these section.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
No, you don't not living alone. You cannot live alone.
Yes you can in the city.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yes you can't.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Think And I got Dahmer next door watching it.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Actually, to be honest with you, I wouldn't watch Dahmer
if I were you, because this is from.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
The same guy.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I wouldn't watch this show if I lived out in
the suburbs, like in White Lake or something like that,
because true, the guy kind of lived off in the
middle of nowhere.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
You know, I saw it for his episode. I mean,
you're not gonna get scared, Like, did you watch first?
I started watching, so Josiah came out stare, so we
started watching.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
You cannot watch this when your kids around. No, I
wouldn't show it to him. We watched something else.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
So Chelsea and I had a uh. We We had
our buddy Chris come over yesterday because he needed to
do something. We had a hole in our wall, so
there was a hole that needed to be repaired that
was in the wall. I've got three boys. Every hole
in our wall is man made. So he came over

(03:08):
to go fix it, and he comes over to the house.
And right at the time that Chris comes over to
fix this thing, you hear the ring doorbell go off
and the dog start barking. And it's right at the
time where Chelsea pauses the thing and you look up
at the screen and it's.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Ed Gin wearing like the ladies booze like that.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Oh my god, Chelsea, hold on because the screen stops
right at that moment. And at the moment that it stops,
it stops on what it's the last thing. And I'm like, Chelsea,
turn the TV off. She's like, if I turn the
TV off, we'll lose our place, you know, Netflix will
reset and I got to find my place all over again.
I'm like, I don't know if I want to. What's up,

(03:49):
Brittany High?

Speaker 3 (03:49):
How you doing?

Speaker 5 (03:52):
So?

Speaker 6 (03:52):
He was not a murderer. He only killed two people.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Okay, well only he dug up the red So what
would you call him?

Speaker 6 (04:01):
Though?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
You would call him a notorious hold on, let me
see what they call him on Wikipedia.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
But he was American. He was an American murderer.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Possibly they called him possibly a serial killer, slash body snatcher.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Did you watch he was only actually, did you watch it?

Speaker 6 (04:25):
I did. I also listened to the podcasts about it.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Okay, So this was the part that I was so
intrigued by because the guy was from Wisconsin and they
would sit there and have conversations all the time about
going to Macanaw Island. And so I'm watching it going,
oh my god, I wonder if ed Gins ever been
in Macana.

Speaker 6 (04:42):
Left Wisconsin his entire life.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
No, he's only been there.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
It's funny because I grew up in Chicago and my
brother Bill lived in this is no exaggeration, lived in
an apartment building that Jeffrey Dahmer one time lived in,
but not the apartment building in Chicago where he was
killing people he would meet when he was up in Wisconsin.
Up in Milwaukee. That's where I guess he would do it.

(05:06):
So could you imagine? Can you imagine living in one
of these places?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
You know? And people like this? They go, do you
watch all this murder stuff? Brittany? Yeah, I watch it all.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
It's also part of like my job.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
Well, I'm in like the legal sector, so like defense
attorneys and south I see all of that.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
What's the craziest thing you've seen.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
There?

Speaker 6 (05:34):
I mean anything with children is pretty ross. But there's
some stuff in Macomb County that is nipers.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
Well.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
Remember what's what's his name that killed his wife up
in McComb County. Remember that guy that as Susan what's
her name? Oh my gosh, what was the guy's name?

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Something?

Speaker 1 (05:55):
Stephen Clark, Oh my god? Yes, and he killed his wife. Yeah,
that was a crazy story up there. I would think
that you'd want to come home and just unwind and
not have to deal with stuff like that.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
No, my kids think the same thing, but it honestly
brings me peace knowing what's out there.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
When Chelsea was recovering from her cancer surgery, all we
did was watch Dateline episodes.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
I go, Chelsea.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Is Stephen Wheeler by the way, Stephen Wheeler Stephen not Wheeler?

Speaker 3 (06:25):
Is it? Wasn't it?

Speaker 4 (06:26):
No?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
Stephen something else? He killed his wife?

Speaker 5 (06:28):
Stephen Wheeler listening right like, no, looking up Stephen, Stephen Grant.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
That's it Stephen Grant. Yeah, okay, Well Stephen.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
Stephen Wheeler was also connected murders from What's up?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Amanda, Hi, good morning.

Speaker 7 (06:44):
I I don't recommend and watch it.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I love her.

Speaker 7 (06:47):
I don't think you have the stomach for it.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
I bet I know, like no, and I love.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I don't recommend it.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
I love Dateline, I love crime junkie podcast, but like
the goriness. I started watching that Dahmer show a couple
of years ago when it was out.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I couldn't. I don't think I got past the first time.
To me, it's fascinating though, that it's real.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah, you knows of.

Speaker 6 (07:10):
Like really bad mental health problems, but it's it's nothing
like Dateline.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
I don't recommend just listen to a podcast if you
can even stomach that.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
The guy's mother said, I wish you were never born.
Oh she was cooking that first episode.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
I would I could not imagine that you wouldn't grow
up to be a mass murderer if you had a
mom that said that to you.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Derek, what's up, Good morning, guys.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
How's it going.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Hey, it's going good. What's going on?

Speaker 7 (07:36):
Good?

Speaker 5 (07:36):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (07:36):
We watched the whole thing, you know, and it definitely
it picks up as you go because then once you
realize that, like, wow, this movie we watched, like you know,
Texas Saintshell Masker and stuff, You're like, wow, this is
all based on them, So you've definitely got to watch
it and realize that there's more to it.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yeah, Chelsea was obsessed with the guy that's the actor
in that movie because he was in Sons of Anarchy,
and she thought so the whole time we're watching.

Speaker 3 (08:01):
And she goes, he is so hot?

Speaker 2 (08:03):
Is it Charlie Huntum?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Yes, She's like, oh my god, he is so he's
so hot. I'm like, Chelsea, this is a guy.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Let me show you.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
And she pulls up his IMDb of all these shirtless pictures.
I'm like, oh my god, what's going on, Stephanie. How
you doing? Hey, we're doing good. What's going on?

Speaker 7 (08:22):
No, So I was watching it at first.

Speaker 5 (08:24):
I had no idea that it was Charlie Hunt until
my fusand said something.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
His voice got me so bad.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Like, oh my god, yeah, his voice was creepy and
the thing. Yeah, but let me ask you, at any
point where you turned on by him at all?

Speaker 7 (08:41):
Absolutely?

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Not.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Okay, if you want something to watch tonight, that is spectacular.
Also on Netflix, the John Candy documentary is so phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
He's eating very light.

Speaker 4 (08:58):
It's lovely. Watch that.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
