Speaker 1 (00:00):
Bojoe in the morning, Shannon says she is done with it.
She's not going to ever do it again. Why is
that and what is okay?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
So, I, my girlfriends and I got together last night
for our little holiday party and my friend Carrie was
the hostess with the mostess.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
She had us all over to her house and it
was great.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
But we did a gift exchange and I'm not on TikTok,
but apparently this gift exchange trend is on TikTok, and
it's cozy Maxine. It's basically like staying home and being cozy.
So that was the theme for our gift exchange. There
was a dollar amount, so nobody brought anything crazy, which
was my last weekend. However, somebody who I shall not

(00:39):
name because she's already embarrassed, got busted regifting the exact
same gift that she got last year's gift exchange with
the same group of girls. And as someone else is
pulling it out of the bag, I could look, we
all remember this gift, and it was so funny because

(00:59):
nobody he said anything for a minute, and then everyone
just gave her the third degree and busted her. So obviously,
regifting the same gifts.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
What exactly different bag?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
So it was a candle, a journal, a pair of
cozy socks. There was some other things in there, but
as soon as she brought out the journal. Oh, there
was a like a travel coffee mug in there. As
soon as she brought out the journal, I was like, wait,
that's the same thing, Like I remember this right, and
she's bringing out all the items and yeah, so all fusted.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
It's not not an awful gift at all.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
But you can't regift to the same group that the
gift was in last year.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
That's the rule.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Has anybody else been ever busted doing something like this
where you brought that gift? I got busted. I got
busted by Shannon. Yeah, given fletch for her for I
don't know it was. I think it was Christmas.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
It was Christmas.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
I gave him the Lululemon shirt that Shannon got me.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, no, uh yeah, it was your birthday.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
I was like, no more gifts now.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
That was.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Looking like a wine bottle. That's right.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
He regifted me the bottle of wine, the same bottle
of wine that I gave him.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Was it for your It was a it was for
a birthday.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
And I always write on the wine bottles the occasion
and then so it's from me.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
He didn't see it. He put it in a bag,
and so when I took it out that morning during.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
The show, I was like, this is the same bottle
of pino noir that I gave you.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
But you understand something though, that is the gift.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Then you're supposed to regift back and it's one of
those things where we do it back and forth.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
I drank that until that is aged appropriately. What did
you get? What was your gift that you ended up?
I got a vibrator?

Speaker 3 (02:43):
What yep? Got a vibrator?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
You choose that?

Speaker 4 (02:46):
How does this happen?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
It's a white elephant kid, So I chose of all
of the girls there, I'm.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Like, the freaking vibrator. Oh sorry, I just breathed it
really hard. What do you mean?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
Did it look?

Speaker 1 (03:00):
It was?

Speaker 4 (03:00):
It's blue?

Speaker 6 (03:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
They don't. They come in all shapes and sauces. This
is like a rose a.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
This is a bullet. He did a blue bullet. It
was it all in its wrapping like it.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Wasn't Oh yeah, it was a hole. It was a
whole kit like that went with the cozy themes, face masks.
There were a bunch of face masks in there. The vibrator,
I'm trying to think of that's in my car right now.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Thing in there. Who's the person that that gave that
as the gift her?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
I love her, I love her, I love her. Who is? Yeah?
Call her out? Tell tell everybody who isn't Brook.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
I love my gift.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
I also don't think that's a bad gift. That's like
self care. That is not a bad gift at all.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
It's just funny that everybody else got blankets and candles
and journals and mugs and loutiens and I get the vibrator.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
And you can pick anything you want and you just
picked based on the box size.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Is that you do?

Speaker 3 (03:55):
This one wasn't a bag, but.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
So you're like, oh this bag looks pretty yes, and.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Next thing, you know, honestly, that's kind of a good guess.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
I got home last night and West was like, what
did you get from the way that. I'm like, well,
i'll tell you. I had to leave it in the
car because the kids were still up when I didn't
want them to see it. So I was like, it's
in the car, it is it is blue and it
is bullitdy did.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
You want to see it at all?

Speaker 5 (04:22):
Though?

Speaker 4 (04:22):
And the kids went finally went to bed.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Oh yeah, he was like, I'll go out to the
car and we don't sell vibrators.

Speaker 4 (04:29):
Yes you do.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
I bought it here six months ago.

Speaker 4 (04:32):
That's not a vibrator. It's a neck massage. No, it's
a vibrator.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I'm counting to five and then I'm changing my mind.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Really yeah, I love it is that. That's from Sex
and the City. It's a neck massage. What's up, Genie?

Speaker 4 (04:46):
How you doing a long time? Hey? What's going on?

Speaker 7 (04:56):
Well? My mom gave my dad a birthday card years
and years and years ago, and he opened it, read it,
put it to the side, and she thought, well, that
was an expensive card, so she put it back in
the envelope. And she's been giving him the card every
year and he didn't realize it was the same card
for about fifteen years.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Oh, that is a great story.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
And it's the same writing and everything she writes the same.
It's got the same stuff written on it.

Speaker 7 (05:22):
All she does is put it back in the envelope
and give it back to them the next year.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
That's one funny and honestly, that's how you should do
with cards, because cards are the biggest waste of money.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
I bought a card yesterday for my babysitter to put
some money in for Christmas. Seven dollars and fifty cents.
And it was not a fancy it was a card,
Pa papayrs. Seven dollars and fifty cents.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
What's up, Pete? How you doing?

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Hey?

Speaker 6 (05:44):
How you doing?

Speaker 4 (05:45):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (05:47):
Nothing? I'll get it first time, long time.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
A lot of them this morning. I love it right.

Speaker 6 (05:54):
Yeah, So I gave my wife's birthday was last year
and I forgot to get a birthday card, so co
work gave me a card. I got one for you, Pete,
to go home. Put the gift in there, my wife
hold it up. It was his wife's name on it.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Pete, you are the best. That is such a difficult,
typical guy thing to do. Merry Christmas, man, Love you buddy.
Take care Georgina, what's up Georgina?

Speaker 5 (06:22):
Good morning, guys, Good morning. So last year I asked
my cousin, He's like, what do you need for Christmas?
I've said, I really need to set a safe knife.
So comes Christmas, I open up this box and it's
steak knives plus a bunch of other knives. So we
take it home and don't look at the box for
a couple of months, and I open it back up.
It's a set of steak knives from his dad. There

(06:42):
was divorce papers in there from the eighties. That's great,
from his first marriage. And I was like, you're kidding.
He played it off like they were new.

Speaker 4 (06:54):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
I've heard of a story one time of a person
regifting what was they thought just a that they had
in their house. It was a pot and their dogs
ashes were still inside. Oh not the dogs, the dogs ashes.
Texts are all texting in right now. I know you
don't read them, but they all want to know if
Shannon will regift the vibrator she got last night, if.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
She's not going to use it.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
I will not regift it.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
You're going to use it, Yep, Oh I will not.
All right, Merry Christmas to Shannon and Wes.
