Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, is Mojo in the morning show your Home
of War the Roses, the second date update in Dirty
and thirty and we've got to coming up here in
just a little bit.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Uh. And how was this when you were on your
Mexico trip that this happened?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I need to know. Have y'all ever seen a roach
in a restaurant?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
If you did, what did you do? None of y'all
have e I don't think I have.

Speaker 4 (00:22):
I've seen roaches before, I don't think it's ever been
in a restaurant.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
So I have seen a roach in a restaurant twice now.
Once when I was younger. It was I was out
to eat with my dad and I think it was
a Chinese restaurant. We saw a roach, we.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Walked out, we got there. Yep. Well, when I.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Was in Mexico, we were at a Michelin Star restaurant.
I know it because I saw it on the wall.
They had it everywhere. It was a gorgeous restaurant and
it was like a GQ dinner, so a very bougie dinner.
I looked to my right before dinner gets served, and
there's the biggest roach on the wall. And yes, yes,

(01:01):
and I'm just staring at it, like, wait, do I
say something? Because I think this is going to like
kill the mood of the whole dinner if everyone sees
this roach right here. Sure enough, people start seeing it,
and I hear people going.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
They got roaches.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
But you could see all the staff like freak out,
like oh my god, oh my god. They run over
to the wall, swat it down, end up stepping on it.
But the whole dinner as we're eating and they're like,
I don't know if I want to eat.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
There's one, there's a thousand exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I'm trying to understand. Is this more prevalent in Mexico
or why is there roaches in here?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
What would you do if you saw this in just
any restaurant, or you saw something even worse than that out.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
You would you'd be done. You wouldn't eat because.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I would never go back.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
I can't believe how many times I'm out with people
and they see a hair in their salad and will
not eat the sure really yeah, Like if I see
I guess, like a fly or a bug or something
like that, I won't eat it. But if I see
a hare, I'm eating it. I have no problem with
that it's just a person's hair.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I need another one.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Really, the roaches thing, and this goes for like rats
and mice. I know every restaurant has them or has
had them at some point, but it's like, if I
don't know, I feel better. But if I can see
it now, I'm very aware and I can't get it
out of my head.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Did you guys ever get out of New York? And
if you go to New York they actually have the
the A, B, C D range on the restaurants. I
have friends of mine that will go into be and
see restaurants. I'm like, you're going into that restaurant? I
mean they were They couldn't get an A like you know,
but if I.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
See a roach or I see anything, I'm probably leaving. Yeah,
I wouldn't take another bite of myf food.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
A Forjoe Live, it's a La Cucko roach shop, right, yeah,
it's roach.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Got off job? What's oh?

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Here you go?

Speaker 7 (03:04):
Here you go? What are.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
John? What's up? Ashley? How you doing good?

Speaker 8 (03:24):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
We're doing okay?

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Would you have eaten still at that restaurant that Anna
was at when she saw the roach?

Speaker 7 (03:30):
No? Actually I was at the Hubati grill and cockroachis
started crawling like from the bottom of the table. I
had three kids, would we packed them up real quick
and we left and I refuse to pay that bill.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
And they came out from underneath where they were cooking,
like us apartment that movie. Yes, yeah, Uh, what's going on, Lisa?

Speaker 2 (03:57):
What happened? Hi?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Hi? So I used to work at Burger King when
I was a teenager in Dearborn and they had a
really bad roach problem. And uh, one day I was
working the register and a big old roach just crawling
up the wall behind me, and there was like tons
of people ordering food, and somebody thought and they were like,
oh my god, they got roaches in here. And so
everybody's kind of like freaking out. And the person that

(04:22):
I was waiting on they were getting their food and
she's just like complaining and everything, and the manager comes
knocked it down, steps on it and just goes in
the back. I said, I said, well, you know, do
you want your money back? She was like, well, just
give me a couple of free whoppers?

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Oh my Goopper Junior double triple playings, real case with
perfect toppers.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
From this day and away stop. I love that he
just comes right out, Amy, what's happening?

Speaker 9 (05:03):
So?

Speaker 10 (05:03):
I used to work at a restaurant, and I will
tell you it was probably one of the cleanest restaurants
I've ever worked at. Yeah, but when we used to
unpack the wine, roaches always came out of the wine bag.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Winetimes.

Speaker 10 (05:18):
So I needed this restaurant day in and day out
because it was a very clean restaurant. But they sometimes
do just come in with the wine.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
King.

Speaker 10 (05:26):
I don't know how to explain.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
That one, but yeah, you got to open the wine outside.
That is wild though.

Speaker 10 (05:33):
When we had to unpack it.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
What's up Mojo in the morning show? Hold on a
second here, let's go to Please don't do me a favor.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Don't mention the name of the restaurant.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Just you were hanging out at a restaurant in Mexican Town, right, yes,
all right?

Speaker 2 (05:51):
And what happened.

Speaker 8 (05:53):
We went there for a celebration dinner like we've always gone,
and we ordered our drinks, we ordered our food, and
I'm about midway through my taco salad and I thought
I saw a sunflower seed. My friend's like, what, I
turn it around and it is a roach, living, crawling
scaffolding the side of my taco show, coming out of
the knee. I'm assuming because I'm pouring hot sauce in

(06:16):
and like, don't drown me. He's climbing out of the shell.
I pushed it away. Yeah, I push it away, and
I'm like freaking out. I put it on the next
table where there's nobody to make sure it's not moving around.
I'm very loud, so everyone's noticing. People are getting up
and bailing out of the restaurant. I called the management

(06:36):
over to handle it, and they basically said to me
and my friend, we're sorry that we brought it out
like that. We should have taken him out before we
brought it all then and then carry it. Yeah, they
pick it up. They carry it back to the kitchen,
him hanging on to the outside of the show through

(06:57):
the customers. Yeah, never went back her again.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh my gosh, hold on, Demetrius didn't see a roach.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
He saw a what.

Speaker 11 (07:26):
Hey, man, I've seen a huge centipee.

Speaker 12 (07:28):
There was eating at a restaurant with me and my
daughter and my son, and all of a sudden, right
across her plate comes to this giant steed. I'm talking
at least three inches long man and I call over
stat because we immediately jump out of our seat and
the staff comes over.

Speaker 11 (07:42):
Squishes it, walks away and said, enjoy your food.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Oh my gosh, Rihanna, worse than a roach is.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
Oh my gosh, baby mice too. So we were at
a very well known Italian restaurant and my mom bless.

Speaker 12 (08:12):
Her heart, she loves all the animals.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
She just like one of them crawled out and we
saw it on the floor, and she took it outside.
She picked it up in a napkin, and then she
went to check on this thing. Her heart was broken
because someone stepped on it, and.

Speaker 11 (08:29):
Then another one.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Another one comes running out, so she took it home.

Speaker 8 (08:33):
In a box.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Oh my god, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
You only saw two of them.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Those, yeah, those are the only ones we saw. And
then we were.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
And I tried to find it.

Speaker 9 (08:59):
Bad three line three brine, How.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
They're doing, how they.

Speaker 9 (09:13):
Run after the farmer's wife and your chairs of the
farming says, I just supping in your life at three mines.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
With the card.

Speaker 11 (09:29):
Sound like that
